Thousands of Moons ago, the demonic god known as Chernobog was banished into a very special Hell created only for him. The barrier between this realm and the real world has faded since then, allowing Chernobog to plan his imminent escape and revenge.

As the universe unknowingly awaits Chernobog's return, a new face is seen in Equestria. An Eldritch being by the name of Godfell entered this happy world to warn it's inhabitants of impending danger and destruction. That being said, he was an alien to this planet, so he never got the chance to do so. In an attempt to deal with it on his own, he made things worse. The barrier was broken and Chernobog had escaped his prison. The now worried Eldritch had to make an oath to protect this land from the fury of a demon.
