Chapters Spike saw with complete darkness as his eyes sluggishly opened. He tried to stretch out his arms but was only met with restriction, pain and a heavy throbbing in his head. He soon found it extremely hard to breath and started pounding against the wall causing resistance, with no results. He flex his claws and started to claw against it and soon he started to progress slowly, dirt and pebbles started to fall on him and he assumed he must've been buried.
The blinding sunlight hit his eyes as he made his way from the ground, he covered his eyes, then fell. A unyielding pain came and he was reminded of what happened, A twisted ankle, throbbing pain in his left eye and a large cut along his tail.he curled up into a ball, starving. "Twilight?"
His memory was fuzzy at best and he was extremely disoriented. He finally pulled himself out of the hole iin the ground and looked at his surroundings. he looked up and saw he was behind the library. he walked to the front of the library only focus on finding something to eat. The door was already open and pills of books littered the floor, he ignored them and went upstairs to Twilight's room. under her bed was were he kept his stash of gems.
He pulled out a box from under the bed and happily flicked a gem into his mouth, biting down. His jaw cracked causing him to wince loudly. He held onto his mouth rolling about on the ground, trying to console the pain. He suddenly gave up and stopped, opening his mouth so he could see the extent of the damage.Several, if not all, of his teeth were cracked and he was probably in need of a dentist.
His attention left his mouth and went to a nearby mirror, his eyes widened. There was a huge hole in his chest, big enough for a pony to fit it's hoof through. He touched it with his hand then looked down at it, then motioned around the hole with a claw."Look out Spike!" his head bulged as he tried to remember what happened. He looked back up at the mirror his body was completely scared, but nothing compared to the hole.
He took a step forward and fell. The pain in his knee now made itself know, he crawled over to the balcony and pulled himself, to look at Ponyville. No ponies, No clouds, nothing. Ponyville was empty. He started to cry the,pain in his body becoming to great to ignore anymore.
The sound of glass shattering brought his attention back to reality. He saw a pair of ponies with scythe like hooves and blood running from their chest,quickly coming toward the library. He limped inside and hid under twilight's bed. he got as close to the wall as he could. Several minutes passed and nothing happened not a sound or peep from outside. his stomach growled, betraying his silence.
The bed was suddenly flipped over by monstrous pony like creatures their teeth were like long daggers of ivory, stained with blood. Their faces however showed no type of emotion, their eyes probably forever shut.He ducked out of the way as one of their scythe like hooves tore through the air above his head. He backed up as two more crashed down were he had just been. "What's going on?!"
Instead of an answer one of the hooves went right through the hole in his chest, perfect fit. He was pulled up into the air and thrown down the stairs, the creatures followed in a silent pursuit. The tore up the ground around him guided only by the sounds that he was making as he ran toward the door he felt something sharp latch onto his hoof then the hole in his chest start to expand, being pulled apart by one of the ponies hooves.
It went slow, only wanting to cause Spike pain, having his blood slowly puddle on the library's floor he struggled to free himself but only managed to quicken his inevitable death. Their was nothing he could do, so he let his body fall limp.
There was a sharp whistle from outside and the creatures left Spike to die on his own. As he hi the ground his eyes opened and he started to crawl, quickly, silently, only being fueled by his will to live. He made it to the base of the stairs and pulled himself up the first one, then the next. He made his way to the top before hearing hoofsteps behind him. At the door he saw a pony wearing another pony's bloody fur as a cloak, obscuring it's own face. it followed Spike's blood trail from the center of the room up the stairs were he laid fearfully.
"Spike?" It whispered in a barely audible voice,"How are you even alive."
"Wh-" The pony shoved it's hoof into his mouth,
"You gotta be quieter or those things gonna hear you and come back."
"Who are you." Spike said in a much softer tone."Why shouldn't I be alive, was I dead or something?"
The pony ignored Spike's questions, shoving it's hoof into Spike's mouth.The Scythe hoofed ponies came back to the door, their ears twitching and their mouths opened as if too taste the air. They moved on but kept their ears perked up.
The pony waited ten minutes in the awkward position of it's hoof being inside spike's mouth.
After some more time had passed the pony removed the dead ponies fur from it's face. "It's me Scootaloo. Spike you're supposed to be dead, A pack of those things gave you a real good beating, don't you remember?"
Spike slowly shook his head, "N-No. What's going on Scootaloo?"
"We don't know yet, it's only been two days since we buried you, how come you don't remember anything?"
Spike fainted, blood loss finally caught up with him.His head hit the ground creating a giant thud like noise. Scootaloo quickly pulled Spike onto her back and jumped off the balcony into the grass below. She quickly hid herself in the confines of a bush, not even daring to peer out and accidentally be heard.
She closed her eyes focusing on all sounds that came into the bush, nothing could be heard. no animals, no ponies, not even the creatures she knew were right outside the bush. a scythe like hoof reached into the bush and laid itself upon her forehead. She didn't flinch or move as it trailed from her snout onto spikes claw, then the creatures face came into the bush. It's close eyes and sharp fangs held no emotion and seemed to examine Scootaloo, trying to see if she moved.
It eventually moved on and Scootaloo waited until she was positive it was gone. She sighed in relief taking a slow cautious look out the bush, "Coast is clear Spike."
The dragon remain unconscious. Scootaloo stalked quietly toward Sweet apple acres. There was a watch tower and the Pink pony inside it waved as Scootaloo quickly approached it. A large red flag was raised, and the gate that was in place around the farm opened.
No editing and I'm still kinda pulling this story out of thin air, I have a objective but no actual plot (I said plot, LOL XD. ignore that) But I do have a PLOT idea (LOL I said it again XD, ignore that:)
"Okay I'm gonna need everypony I can get. Rarity get me some thread, Rainbow Dash go get some water from the river and don't let those spotters see you. I'm going to need you also Fluttershy, put as much pressure as you as you can onto his chest." Nurse Redheart called out orders to the ponies in the room and they left as she called them.
Fluttershy pressed down onto Spikes tail while Nurse Redheart, assisted by Rarity sewed spikes tail wound shut. His eyes shot opened, but quickly shut as he went back into unconsciousness. Fluttershy lifted his leg and snapped his ankle back into place causing the baby dragon to wake once again more blood came out onto the table he laid on, his heart rate increasing dramatically.
"Where am I?!" He was quickly pinned back onto the table by Fluttershy.
"Spike I'm gonna need you to hold still while we finish." The nurse said holding onto his hand.
"But what's going on, where's Twilight, why was I buried behind the library?"
Nurse Redheart circled her hoof around spikes opened chest, "I don't know how you even managed to live under ground with no air or food and this hoof sized hole in your chest. We're going to need a donor to fill his missing scales so we can properly seal this thing."
Fluttershy quickly left the room and returned seconds later with Tank. "We can use Tank's shell, it might not be as strong as Spike's scales but it should be good enough."
Spike lifted his head, "Wait what are you doing?"
"Someone put him out." Fluttershy twisted his neck then gasped realizing she shouldn't had done that.
"good thinking Fluttershy." Nurse Redheart said trying to reassure the yellow pegasus."Don't worry about it, he'll be better off asleep, even if it wasn't the way that I would've handled it. Now you all can go, I'm sure that you have other things to do."
Fluttershy quickly flew out of the room and down the stairs where Granny Smith and a lot of younger ponies sat around listing to granny smith's stories. "Granny Smith have you seen Scootaloo anywhere?" The elderly pony pointed out toward the Cutie Mark Crusader Clubhouse. "Thank you," Fluttershy timidly left the room receiving stares, she had interrupted their story."
Fluttershy flew up to the out to the tree house but was stopped, by Snips and Snails.
"No one is allowed to see the Cutie Mark Crusaders." Snips said stopping Fluttershy with his hoof.
"Snips, Snails get outta here. You're not our security guards, get!" Applebloom shouted at the two colts."Come on in Fluttershy."
Fluttershy moved passed the two colts and up into the girls clubhouse. She scanned the room and aside from a few decapitated creatures everything seemed normal. She saw Scootaloo sitting on the floor talking with Sweetie Belle and trotted over. "Scootaloo, how did you find Spike?"
Scootaloo was expecting this question,"Well you see the creatures had me completely cornered by the school and I lost my scooter when I fell of of it by Sugar Cube Corner, and right before they realized I was alive they turn and run to the library. Now I know I should've came right back but, I also know they only respond to sound and Ponyville has been quite for about a month now, so somepony had to make a noise to move them. That's when I see them ripping spike in half and decide to get their attention."
"Okay, Scootaloo, but how did find him, was he infected?"
Scootaloo sat up and rubbed her head, "Well I really didn't check. I was just so happy he was up and moving, well he wasn't really up he was crawling but still, he seemed okay."
"Okay he seemed, okay, but was he infected. I'm sorry but it's really hard to believe that Spike just comes back from the dead and doesn't even have the slightest infection. I'm happy he's here, but still."
A siren went off outside and they all looked outside, "White flag!" Applebloom said grabbing Applejack's lasso. "Come on Creature Slayers!"
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle followed Applebloom outside to the orchard. Pinkie Pie was up in the watch tower pointing toward the direction of Ponyville. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle ran in the opposite direction while Applebloom ran toward the direction Pinkie Pie had pointed to. There was only one creature it must've heard something on the farm loud enough to reach Ponyville.
Applebloom threw her lasso and wrapped it around one of the Creature's scythe like hooves. She ran up to it dodging it's free hoof and weaved around it's hind legs, she pulled tightly causing the Creature to fall on it's face, another hoof sprouted from it's side and stabbed Applebloom right in her flank. It twirled the filly up in the air before slamming her down onto the ground. Applebloom's grip loosened and the Creature stood above her and tried to sink it's hooves into her once more.
Applebloom rolled to the side and saw Scootaloo out the corner of her eye and ran to her, "Where's Sweetie Belle?"
Scootaloo pointed further down the trail toward the farm, "She's finishing cutting the tree down we just gotta-" They were interrupted as the Creature miss judged the creature their position and crushed the ground in front of them. "It's a trap," Scootaloo said running.
Applebloom tried to keep up, but the surprise attack on her flank took it's toll and greatly slowed her down. She limped as fast as she could a deep throbbing pain accompanied every step she took, but she manage to barely stay ahead of the creature. Scootaloo passed the tree that Sweetie Belle stood ready to push onto the creature and got into position to hep push.
Apple quickly galloped the last few meters and slumped down just passed Sweetie Belle's trap. The creature stopped above Applebloom and was just about to bring it's hooves down onto her when, the tree snapped. It looked at the tree as it came crashing down onto him. Applebloom found herself covered in the creature's bright pink blood and it's bleached white shell like hooves.
Applebloom started wide eyed as it still continued to move under the fallen apple tree, several hooves erupted from it's body and lifted tried to lift the tree off itself only to have it fall back on top of it, crushing it even more,
Scootaloo touched Applebloom's shoulder, "Since when do they do that?"
"I don't know scootaloo, just help me back the the house." She removed the hoof she had been holding to he flank allowing the blood to flow freely for a moment before closing it back up. "That thing really pulled a fast one on me, huh Scootaloo?"
I always wanted to do a CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS ZOMBIE SLAYERS GO!!! Thing but, meh creature slayers arn't that far off from zombies, still kinda working on why the Creatures are in Equestria and I'm 70% positive the people who made falling skies don't know why the skitters are there but they're still rolling with it. :3
and I am working on a falling skies story, won't be a crossover since you can't prove to me that there are not Skitters in the Equstrian universe, I can prove they're there.
Just introducing a new Monster, I'm having fun thinking of them.
Rainbow Dash landed at Sweet Apple Acres,and waved to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie raised the White flag once again. Scootaloo and Applebloom hadn't even made it back to the farm yet, when they saw it go up. Pinkie Pie pointed toward the sky and the girls looked up to see giant one-eyed Creatures with bat wings, a long menacing tongues with two talons as feet, there had to be at least six of them.
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle helped Applebloom into the coverage of the trees so she could make her way back to the farm safely. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo ran back to their clubhouse and grabbed a bunch of ropes. They started running back toward the farm when a group of pegasus met them halfway.
"What's taking you all so long!" A cherry colored mare shouted, taking a rope from Sweetie Belle. The rest of the pegasus took the ropes from the rest of the pegasus took ropes from the girls and took to the sky. The cherry coated mare flew straight at the first of monsters, but dipped under it causing it to try and follow her movement. She came back over the top of the beast then, back down tying it up in the rope
.
She started to fly down to the ground dragging the creature down with her. Another pegasus beside her had failed the tying maneuver and started to be sucked into the creatures one giant eye. She quickly flew over and started to wrestle the Spotter for the Grey coated pegasus. Not paying attention to the Spotter she had tied up, it's eye opened and started to pull her in also.
All around them the pegasi were being pulled into the one-eyed monsters. The Cherry coated mare looked down toward the ground and saw that they were positioning the catapults, but they weren't ready yet. She noticed that she and the other pegasus holding onto her weren't moving any more, the Spotters couldn't pull them both in at once.
"Hold onto each other everypony!" She shouted holding onto the other Pegasus. The other Pegasus started to look around with it's crossed eyes as if she wasn't entirely sure as to what was going on. Rocks started to fly into the air and hit the Spotters that held the two pegasus. The grey pegasus quickly tied the Spotter like she was supposed to the first time and started flying toward the ground with the cherry coated mare.
They landed and the earth ponies quickly swarmed in wielding big sticks and started to smash the Spotters wings. They hissed loudly and lashed out with their talons. They stood standing on but as they lifted one off the ground to slash out at the ponies they lost their balance and fell to the ground. Their large red-veined eyes started to turn into a darkened void. The ponies turned and retreated back to the farm.
The ground shook as the Spotters started to implode taking anything in a ten meter radius with them. There were still pegasi up in the air trying to tie up the last two Spotters.
"Derpy what was that, you could've gotten us both killed?!" The Cherry coated mare shouted at Derpy.
"I'm sorry Honeysuckle, I didn't think it would move that fast." She looked toward the ground, then perked up."At least I managed to tie the knot this time."
Honeysuckle shook her head and walked away from Derpy. Derpy started to untie the Spotter she had brought to the ground. Once she had got the rope off the monster she turned and started to head toward the Crusader's clubhouse. She saw Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo looking rather depressed. She walked up beside them and slumped down on the ground next to them.
"What's wrong with you?" Scootaloo asked Derpy as she sat beside them.
"Nothing. It's just that every time I try to help out around here I end up causing more problems. When I tried apple bucking I ended up smashing more apples then I brought in, it wasn't my fault they were squished. And when I tried going into Ponyville to get supplies for the farm I ended up being saved by you girls. And I'm getting better at Spotter wrangling, but I fell like the other pegasus don't want me there.
"Why don't you help us out miss hooves? We could use more member, so long as those new members aren't Snips and Snails." Sweetie Belle said trying to reassure Derpy.
"Oh. I'd love to help you girls but I don't feel like messing with those Creatures." Derpy curled her hooves trying to mimic the Creatures Scythe like hooves.
"Oh they're not that Scary Derpy, they are just like normal ponies but they have a shell instead of fur, and those claw things instead of hooves."
"No Sweetie Belle It's much more than that." Derpy said standing up. "They're evil and just as big as Celestia, wherever she may be. They can hear your heart beating and like to eat them. Not to mention the infected, I know they're gone now but that doesn't mean that they wont be back and I don't feel like being caught up in that again, what would Dinky say?"
"Well I guess that makes sense, my sister didn't approve at all about the Creature Slayers, but in the end she agreed to let me do it. As long as I don't get close enough for them to hear me."
"Yea and I would've did it regardless because nopony disagreed about me doing it." Scootaloo said triumphantly. "And don't forget Applebloom, her sister is the one who encouraged it and gave Applebloom her lasso."
Derpy nodded, "I guess I could try the creature slaying thing with you girls."
"Cool, but you can't be a Cutie Mark Crusader, that's our thing. Why don't we go see how Applebloom is doing?" Sweetie Belle said making her way toward the barn.
"Hey wait up Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo shouted chasing after her friend. Derpy shrugged and headed inside the girl's clubhouse.
Did anyone else notice how I just forgot all about Rainbow Dash? O.O Need to find something for her to do or something to make her go away, I can't kill her. You never know when you'll need Rainbow Dash around. Also I need to say something about why the ponies are at sweet apple acres, I guess that I'll say something about it when I wake Spike up.-Still not editing :3
"Wakey Wakey, dragon."
Spike's head shot up but he was forced back down by a pony he had never seen before, he had two tails and wore a pair of shades. She pulled out a book and it said something, but he couldn't make it out. "Who are you?" he asked still confused about what was going on.
The pony looked and lifted the blanket off of his body. There was no hole or anything perfectly healed. She turned back to the book and started speaking some unkown language to it, then turned back to him. "Hiya Spike, I'm Quantum shift, I know my talents have nothing to do with my name but I really don't think that matters at all, in fact I really, really like my name and-"
"Ow. Headache, can you slow down please?"
She turned back to her book and shrugged. "Hiya Spike, I am Quantum shift and I was the one who destroyed Equestria and killed millions of ponies, yada yada yada, created killer mutants, yada yada, doesn't matter.
Spike tilted his head, dumbstrucked. "Wait are you-"
"Stupid? quite." She removed her glasses and showed him her book, "This is my laptop, far ahead of Equestrian technologically, only two in existence, bet you wish you had one but guess what, you don't.
Spike took a good look at the pony her eyes didn't line up and her cutie mark seemed to be a strand of blue DNA. She was white and also had short blue hair. "Wait, you did this? You're the reason my friends thought I was dead and had me buried in the ground for who knows how long?"
"Yep, that's me, but don't worry, your two friends Twilight and Applejack are on their way to Underground Canterlot right now to pick up my dad's cancellation device so I can punch in his passcode and I can sort out the rest later.
Underground Canterlot? there's no underground Canterlot."
"Well, there is. It's a top secret, that really isn't that private. Anyone who ever asked about it could find it. I'm surprised you never heard of it, Twilight comes by every third week, but she's never seen me before, unless you count last month when I stole her hair and created that hamster."
"Wait, why would you steal a pony's hair just to make a hamster? Wait, why am I talking to you?"
Quantum shrugged, "is it because I'm sexy?"
Spike turned shook his head, sad that somepony could be such a airhead and cause Equestria to be like it is "Uh, no. I don't think that's it."
"So you agree that I'm sexy then?"
"No, well not that you aren't it's just. You know what, I quit. I'm going to go after Twilight."
Quantum shut the door by pushing a button in on her laptop. "I don't think you should do that Spike, you'd die the moment you set foot into Canterlot. That place is like ground zero all over again, I'm lucky that I even made it out of there, but you're in luck, I forgot something and was planning on going back, I'd take you if you want."
Spike rolled his eyes, "fine you can come with me."
"Brain damage, Quantum, his frontal lobe has s hidden tumor.
Quantum put her glasses back on and went started to press her hooves against the little buttons. "Yay, I get to perform brain surgery, I hope I'm good at it." A devious smile crossed her face and the glare from her glasses temporarily blinded Spike.
"Wait, I'm not letting you anywhere near my head.:
Something hammered against the door made them both jump, Quantum's glasses fell to the ground."Open this door right now Quantum, It's Applebloom. You're not supposed to be in there, now get!"
"I'm not in here, I'm somewhere else." Quantum fumbled for her glasses but couldn't but the door bursted inward before she could put them on.
"Thank you Big Macintosh, I hope it wasn't too much work for you."
"Nope." Big Mac turned and continued down the hall.
"Applebloom am I glad to see you this crazy pony is trying to mess with my head." Spike lifted his claw and pointed at Quantum.
Applebloom knocked on her ear trying to clean it out, "Spike, why you talkin' all fancy like?
"I'm not talking fancy."
"Dragon's blood pressure raising. stroke unavoidable, Needs your biological compound to- Quantum shut the laptop, once again wearing her glasses.
"Applebloom? Can I help you?"
"Yea, take off those fancy glasses and talk to me for real."
"Neh, I think I think much better when I don't have to see these uneducated ponies everywhere. So terribly ungroomed, it's revolting to say the least. You all should just go crawl into a corner and die."
"Now why you gotta be such a jerk, ponies like you when you aren't wearing those glasses." Applebloom tried to take them off but was shocked, when she touched them.
"Get your filthy-"
*Thud*
"Well the dragon is dead,what's next? Something giant and unstoppable attacks this little mud-hole of yours?"
Just them Scootaloo came running into the room. "Applebloom, some giant thing is headed toward the farm!"
"Ha. Quantum one, Applebloom seven. Wait, that's not right."
"Neh, that's about the smartest thing I heard this version of you say."
"I spent a creating this OC, character design, personality, background. I can draw this pony in my sleep, quite literally. I was going to give her, her own story then I thought, why not test her out on this one and see how it plays out, and It's a excuse to finish this one. Yay motivation :D I'll finish this story by the...wait Season 3 is this weekend. Okay fuck this story, time to make a assload of snacks, that I won't eat :3
