Equestria has made contact to the dying planet earth. To save themselves and the planet humans have to become ponies. Some people refuse to give up their humanity, so they have escaped to Pleasure Island, an amusement park reopened by manipulated pony magic, a magic that also keeps out ponies. Admission is free to citizens, citizenship is free, but those who stay long enough discover that this is the unhappiest place on earth.
