I wasn’t to be deterred. I was stronger than her. I aimed a kick at her, missed. She grabbed the skin, well, what would have been my skin. She pulled at it, revealing the rather hairy, wolfish face I had. She stepped back, as I gasped. She punched me repeatedly in the face. I didn’t even bother defend myself. I let her. She ruled the school with an iron fist, like I once did. I fell, onto my back. She kicked my shin, leaving me curled up in a ball, shaking. I got back up, grabbing my mask off the floor. I looked at my phone, and there, on My Stable, were posts of my face.

My friends and I arrived at the portal. I saw a 2 figures run towards the portal. “Sunset? Is that you?” asked the woman, my mother. “Yes,” I said. “I am. Mom. Dad This is Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Applejack.” “But are you really our daughter?” growled a voice. I assumed my father. “Yes.” I said. “I am.” “I think you have to prove it,” hissed Twilight, in my ear. I sighed. “Okay.” I said. I pulled off the mask. I tied my red-gold hair in a ponytail, so the triangular ears would be more promient. My father nodded. “You are.” My mother smiled. “Would you like to live with us?” she asked. “I’d love that,” I said, shyly, with a small smile.

Liz, this is Sunset, your elder sister.” “Hi, Sunset,” said Lizzie. “I’m 10 years old. I’m like you, no need to hide away. How old are you?” “16,” I said. Lizzie smiled. “I love the Rainbooms! I didn’t realise my big sis was a member, though!” I smiled. “Thanks. Maybe I can play something on my guitar for you at some point.” There was a knock on the door. I opened it, standing there was my ex boyfriend, Flash Sentry. Flash and I sat on my bed. “Sunset,” he said. “You never wanna talk to me. Why?” “I’m scared.” I admitted. “I was scared that you’d judge me for who I am.” Flash hugged me. “Course I wouldn’t! I love the wolf you!” “You do?” I asked, brightening. “Sure!” he cried. “It makes you unique. And will you go to the ball with me?” “Flash, we haven’t frickin’ dated since Freshman, and I was a bitch. A total bastard to you. I’d love to. But...” “But what about we have a practice date to see?” he said. “I know you like me...” “I do.” I said. “Always have.”

Gilda glared at me. “You may have ruled the school once, Sunset, but it’s my time to shine!” Gilda jumped onto me. We started fighting, Gilda ripping my clothes apart, until all was left was who I am. I snarled. She backed away from me, her gaze never leaving my soft cyan blue eyes. She scratched me, right down the back. We kept fighting, injuries appearing all over our bodies. I was weakening. Gilda was stronger than me. I knew it. I struggled against her long sharp nails that dug into it. She laughed, before kicking me in the stomach. I keeled over, motionless. I briefly saw Rainbow Dash running, for help, before I blacked out.

"I’ll make some new ones,” said Rarity. I was still whining. “Hush, Sunset,” said Fluttershy. “You’ll be alright. I promise.” Applejack put me down on Fluttershy’s sofa. I don’t remember what happened after that.

Also complete was a new leather jacket and high black boots. And a pair of brand new amber gloves. “I love them!” I cried, reaching over to give Rarity a hug. “Thanks.” My friends smiled. I knew I was going to be fine.

The story is now told from Flash Sentry’s POV(this chapter) and RD’s POV(next one) I talk to her(Flash POV) I couldn’t concentrate. I sat next to her in English, but now, she’s gone. Sunset’s gone. I ran out of the classroom, into the boys’ lavatory. I dried my eyes, trying to not let her death get the better of me. But she was young. 16 years old, nearly 17. I think. She didn’t deserve to die to that bitch Gilda. I sobbed into my pillow that night. I heard a voice. In front of me was Sunset Shimmer, my girlfriend, standing there, smiling. “Hey,” she said in a soft voice. “Princess Luna and Princess Twilight helped me. They said I could communicate with you for 20 minutes. I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being my best friend and boyfriend. I’m sorry how I treated you years ago. I want you to have this.” She opened the palm of her hand. Laid in the centre of it was a locket with my name. I opened it, in it was a picture of Sunset and I at Camp Everfree, the day I fell in love with her. Next to it was the day we first kissed. She also handed me a letter. “Read it later.” she whispered. Then she faded into nothing. I woke up with a jolt. I clutched the letter in my hand. It wasn’t a dream. I opened it. Dear Flash, I want to say, I love you. If I had lived, I would have trashed Gilda. I’m sorry, give my love to RD and the girls. Yours truly, Sunset x I smiled. I knew she hadn’t forgotten me.

I was scared. My name is Sunset Shimmer. I am 16 years of age, and I have a terrible secret. I am a wolf, a talking, living teenage wolf. I sighed, getting out of bed, throwing on my favourite set of clothes, a pink long-sleeved t-shirt and an orange miniskirt. I pulled on my black leather jacket, and high black boots over the bottom set of paws. I then pulled an amber set of gloves onto the top set of paws and an amber mask to cover my true self. I grabbed my brown satchel, before brushing my natural red-gold hair I inherited from my mom. I ran out of the apartment, locking the door behind me, to the mall, where I was going to meet my friends. I arrived at the mall, panting. Rainbow Dash waved me over, smiling at me. “Hey,” she said. “So why did ya bring us here?” asked Applejack. “Well...” said Rainbow Dash. “My mom is having a baby... and I’m gonna be a big sis! Isn’t that amazing?” We noisily congratulated her. “I’m so happy for you!” I cried. “We should have a party!” suggested Pinkie Pie. “No.” I said. “That’s not a good idea. Uh, because... I’m really busy.” Pinkie nodded. “Okay. Later.” I smiled. I knew I had to tell them sooner rather than later. But what would they say?

Gilda and I circled each other, treading in a perfect circle. She then leapt on to Rainbow Dash. I ran forward, shoving Dash out of the way. Gilda and I started to fight, both of us getting seriously injured. I knew I had to stop Gilda, for my friends. For CHS. For Flash. Gilda and I fought. I could only hold her off for so long. Because I wasn’t expecting her to shove me into the wall. I lay, motionless, curled up in a tiny ball, whimpering weakly. I knew I didn’t have long to live. I looked up at my friends. “Thank you.” I whispered. RD POV I punched Gilda in the face. She kicked me. I didn’t care, I punched her straight in the stomach. She retaliated. I gritted my teeth, punching and kicking her in her stomach until she got knocked out. When I threw my last punch, and shouted, “THIS ONE’S FOR SUNSET!” Gilda fell back, motionless. I checked her. I looked at my arm, covered in bandages. “You’re awake!” yelled Rainbow Dash. “SHHHH!” chorused the others. “Fluttershy’s sleeping.” Fluttershy stirred. “Oh, Sunset!” she cried. “I’m so happy to see you awake! We thought you were gonna die!” Fluttershy leaned over to hug me. “And ah think we should change her dressings,” said Applejack, holding up a wad of bandages in her hand. Fluttershy nodded. She unwrapped the bloody dressings off my arms and legs and back, before wrapping a new piece around me. I sat up. “Painful.” I said. “I know,” said Rainbow Dash. “I know how it feels.”
