I got up early the next day before Alex. I took out my backpack and put my notebooks, pens, and the three books that Violet suggested in it and went to the café to do my research the proper way. I grabbed some breakfast, which consisted of oatmeal with fruit and a huge plate of vegetables with ranch dressing.

I had also bought a book on mating rituals, as Alex and Violet would called it sex, and I bought another book about how ponies have sex too. The last book I bought I found to be interesting because it talked about human anatomy. All of the books Violet suggested I read were actually good reads to me.

I also found spells in the books that I could use to help the experience along and make it more pleasurable. However, I wasn't sure if the spells would work on Alex because he's a human. But the 'Calm-Down' spell seemed to work with him so it's plausible that it might work.

As I wrote things down in my notebooks and grabbed another vegetable tray with ranch dressing, I noticed that Violet had taken a seat at the same table across from me. I rolled my eyes when I saw her, I felt just as annoyed as Alex did with the way she likes to press his buttons. I went back for thirds on the vegetable plate and the lady at the cash register commented on how much she thought it was good that I ate healthier than most humans.

I asked her why she thought that. She replied by saying it's because most humans like to eat a lot of what's considered unhealthy food and they gain weight because of it. She even mentioned that it surprised her that some agents that work for the PPA can even do their job because sometimes their weight is almost three hundred pounds!

Anyway, as I sat down and rolled my eyes when Violet frowned. I didn't feel like talking to her at the moment.

"Hi Princess," said Violet after she took her seat at the table, "how's it going?"

"It's going fine." I didn't even bother to look up at her. I just kept my nose in my book and kept writing things down.

"You're upset with me now too, huh?" Violet asked.

True, I was upset with her but not bad enough to give her the silent treatment. "You know something Violet? I think you owe Alex an apology. He wasn't just upset yesterday, he was worried that he might fail this assignment. I had to use my 'Calm-Down' spell to help him out."

Violet raised an eyebrow. "Calm-Down spell?"

"It's pretty much self-explanatory," I replied, "I used it a lot back in Equestria for sick ponies at the hospital. I figured out the calmer a pony was, the quicker their recovery would be."

Violet smiled. "That spell is going to come in handy as far as Alex goes. He has a tendency to worry about not completing an assignment. He was in the hospital with a heart attack because of worrying. I suspect that Mary had something to do with it too. Those Mary tantrums she had didn't really help matters at home."

The thought of being reminded of Alex being with such an evil woman like Mary made my blood boil.

"You know, I knew you were a good fit for Alex the very moment I met you." Violet remarked.

Violet giving me a compliment sounded like a way for her to get around apologizing to Alex. Even though I still had questions about the book I bought on humans having sex, I wasn't about to ask her about it anytime soon. "Well, if you want to smooth things over with Alex, I think you should apologize to him."

Violet sighed and then mumbled, "Okay fine, since you insist, I will."

I smiled and nodded, but I wasn't going to be happy with Violet until she actually apologized to Alex.

When I finally came out of my room, I grabbed some food from my refrigerator. I wasn't sure if I should've shown Twilight the fridge because there were hardly any vegetables in there. I also thought I should probably change my diet out of respect for her. I did that with all of my other girlfriends, so why not her?

When I started living at PPA HQ, I started to eat healthier than what I did when I lived with Mary. Living with Mary felt like a total nightmare. She cared less about what I ate just as long as I drank a lot of alcohol when she wanted to have sex with me. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she wanted me to die a slow painful death.

Now that I'm away from her and no longer dating her, I'm eating things like fish, eggs, and stuff like that. To tell the truth, I wasn't sure what ponies ate other than vegetables.

Today I sat at my kitchen table eating an egg sandwich with cheese and for some reason I felt like having some lettuce on it today. As I ate my breakfast I didn't realize that Twilight was right behind me until she said hi. I spit out the orange juice I had drunk in surprise.

"Why would-" Twilight paused, "Oh I get it. You want to adjust your diet out of respect for me right? You don't have to do that Alex."

"I've done that for all of my other girlfriends, so why wouldn't I do it for you?" I asked.

Twilight smiled. "It's okay Alex. I did a little bit of research, the proper way, and I found out that humans like to eat meat. From the looks of what you have in there you only eat chicken and fish along with some fruit. Although ponies in Equestria don't eat meat, not even fish. That's out of respect for the wildlife in Equestria. We also have some wildlife that can actually talk and are just as intelligent as you and me are."

What Twilight just said peaked my interest, "Really? Now that I would love to see sometime."

Twilight nodded and then looked at me with curiosity. I closed the fridge door and looked at her. "What?"

"I was able to do some research thanks to your friend Violet. I found some things that might help you take your mind off of this assignment for the time being. I don't think you should worry about that stuff at the moment." Twilight said.

It made me nervous because I knew the vision I saw was getting ready to start. "Okay? What do you have in mind?"

"Well," said Twilight, "I found a book of spells that normally would be used for stallions. I'm not sure if they're going to work on you since you're a human."

The next thing I knew, Twilight lit up her horn. I felt like I got sucked into something.

When I opened my eyes again, I looked down to see that somehow whatever that spell Twilight did put me on the ceiling. I looked down to confirm that my clothes were off. "Okay, why am I on the ceiling and why am I naked?"

Twilight answered, "Well stallions don't usually wear clothes. So I figured in order for the spells to work, you shouldn't be wearing clothes either."

I looked at Twilight to see her hanging from the ceiling like a bat. That made my heart race. I wondered if she might do a spell that would make me half aware of what was happening like when Mary would get me drunk just so she could have sex with me.

Twilight tilted her head and frowned. "What's wrong Alex?" She rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, you're worried I'm going to do something similar to what Mary did to you. What did she do?"

"She would get me drunk so she could have sex with me," I responded, "I don't think she put me on the ceiling for it, but I don't know. I'm just scared you'll do something that has a similar effect."

I smiled and thought, I guess I was just being scared about nothing. She's right that she's not Mary. She never will be.

"Anyway, I have a question for you. I thought humans were just plain weird and this book on their mating rituals confirms it for me."

"Huh?" I replied.

"Well, take a look at it and see," She floated over to me in her magic a book. I snorted when I saw the title: How Humans Have Sex.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing when I opened the book and it showed different sex positions along with other things.

Twilight looked at me clearly confused by my reaction at seeing the book. "What's so funny?"

I laughed so hard it surprised me that I could even speak. "Wow, Violet and her pranks! She told you to… get a book...on how to have sex!"

I couldn't stop laughing because of course Violet just had to use Twilight's curiosity to play a prank on her.

Twilight chuckled. "Well, at least I got you to laugh. Now if only I could get you to do that in front of everyone else and not just me. Anyway, why would Violet tell me to get a book like this?"

I finally caught my breath and stopped laughing. "She probably did it because you're a virgin and curious about things."

Violet's jaw dropped. "Which book was it?"

"That's none of your business!" Twilight snapped. "Do me a favor, don't get any more ideas when it comes down to my curiosity."

"Hey I was just trying to help!" Violet said defensively.

"I don't need your help," Twilight snarled, "as I said before I was already curious about the subject and seeing that I found a book on how ponies do the same thing right next to the other books, I could've found those books on my own. But thank you for pointing me in that direction, honestly I just wanted to know where you can buy a notebook and pen."

Violet snorted. "Well I did help you get Alex away from Mary."

"You know something, if you knew how awful that woman was," Twilight growled, "then you should've done it yourself! You were just too chicken to stand up to her."

While I rolled my eyes at this conversation, Simon and Abigail seemed to find this conversation funny because I looked over to see them chuckling at it.

"Violet," I snapped, "don't ever meddle in my love life again. As you can see I was already living at headquarters. So it's very possible that I would've broken up with Mary anyway. Terra's right, she stood up to her when you didn't. I can deal with things on my own."

"Okay fine then, I won't do it again," Violet said, "But I do have a question for the princess."

Twilight narrowed her eyes at Violet. "I'm not sure if I want to know."

Violet grinned. "So, how was it?"

"Why you little bitch!" Twilight shouted, I could tell she wanted to kill Violet by the expression of anger on her face. I felt the same way at the moment.

Before we got a chance to kill each other Simon and Abigail stepped in between us. We turned around when we heard someone clear their throat. That's when we saw Agent Lawrence standing there with her hands on her hips and she didn't look happy. "What are you guys fighting about this time?"

Simon tilted his head. "You mean Violet and Alex have fought like this before?"

Agent Lawrence nodded. "Oh yeah, they have. They can be a couple of knuckleheads sometimes."

I gulped when I saw Agent Lawrence and gave Violet a sideways look at the same time.

However, Violet seemed to be more preoccupied with flirting with Agent Lawrence because of the googly eyed look Violet gave her.

Agent Lawrence rolled her eyes. "Honestly you two, how you guys got to be in the top twenty for the rankings at the PPA is beyond me sometimes. But seeing that Agent Shipman has yet to fail an assignment, I can see him making top ranks. Agent Client on the other hand, could care less about failing an assignment. It's a good thing she's paired up with Agent Shipman because that seems to motivate her to do her job. But nevermind that, I hear you two have brought two detectives on broad to help you catch the rogue pony you're after?"

I nodded and pointed at Abigail and Simon. "Yes ma'am. This is Detective A. Ryker and Detective S. Carter. The pony in disguise is actually Princess Twilight."

Twilight groaned as Agent Lawrence gave her a flirting look. "In case you're wondering, I'm already taken. My special somepony is Alex."

Violet grinned. "Oh yeah Alex, is her special somepony alright! He's very special!"

"Don't you dare Violet!" I snapped before she could say anything else.

Agent Lawrence rolled her eyes. "Wow, you two are fighting about a girl?" Then she said with sarcasm, "Nope, never seen that happen before. Anyway, here's some more intel on Pinkie Pie. The rogue pony I sent you two after."

She handed me a file with the new information in it. "It's not an exact address that Pinkie Pie's headed to but it's in the general direction of it."

I quickly handed the file over to Violet hoping she would be motivated enough to actually do something to contribute to this assignment instead of relying on my visions for this one.

Agent Lawrence raised an eyebrow. "Wow, you two are really angry at each other this time. But I know as always, you two will work things out. Agent Shipman never stays mad for long unless Agent Client put on the straw that broke the camel's back this time."

"Hey," protested Violet, "why does it have to be me?"

"I know that it's you because Agent Shipman doesn't start things," Agent Lawrence said pointedly. She looked to see Violet giving her a flirting look and rolled her eyes again, "For the last time Agent Client I'm not interested. Okay guys, I think you should be on your way now, just try not to kill each other before you catch Pinkie Pie."

After Agent Lawrence left, Violet turned to me. "Okay, so what do we do next Mr. Seer?"

"Oh no," I snarled, "in case you didn't notice, I handed-" Right on cue, I had a vision. Pinkie was at a bar called 'The Next' and it was out of state too. I saw a group of motorcycles outside. Somehow I knew exactly what state it was in and what city. It was in Branson, Missouri.

Pinkie was sitting at the bar and looked very depressed. It also looked like she had already gotten herself drunk. The bartender started to speak to her, "You know it's only one 'o'clock in the afternoon and it's not even happy hour yet! I think you need to call someone to take you home."

"Why should I go home?" Pinkie whined, "I'll just have to move places again."

"It doesn't matter," the bartender said, "you're overserved and it's against the law for me to give you any more drinks. If you don't leave, I'll be forced to call the police so they can drag you out. So go home before you cause trouble."

"Fine." Pinkie mumbled. As soon as Pinkie got ready to walk out the door someone called her name.

"Hey Roxy! How's it going?" Pinkie turned around to see a young woman with dark brown hair staring at her.

"Lara?" Pinkie said. After she said hi to Lara the vision stopped.

When I opened my eyes I snarled because of the expectant look that Violet gave me. "Yes, I had a vision and I'm not telling!"

Uh, Alex?

What?

You have to tell someone about the vision.

What? Why?

If you don't it could cause another power surge. I don't think you want to have another one of those. It'll put you out of commission for a while.

"Seriously Alex!" Violet said with an agitated tone to her voice. "You want to track down Pinkie Pie don't you?"

"Yes," I fired back at her, "I want to and I have half a mind to do the assignment on my own because that's what it feels like I'm doing at the moment."

"You know he's right," said Simon, "we've been relying on Alex's visions a lot lately."

Is there any way I can transfer my visions without magic?

I don't know.

"I know!" Twilight said. "Maybe you don't have to tell someone the whole vision."

I raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"Maybe you could just write down the address or location and how much time before it happens," Twilight suggested, "I think that's a good compromise."

I smiled and thought. Twilight's the best girlfriend I've ever had. She's so considerate and she's shown that she really does have my best interest at heart.

I sat down at a nearby table and wrote down the basics of the vision. When I handed it over to Violet, she frowned, "So how exactly am I supposed to find this place by one o' clock tomorrow?"

"Well gee, I don't know," I snapped, "it's something called GPS! Last time I checked there's one in every single vehicles the PPA has or are you too stupid to remember that? Actually I'm surprised you didn't get fat because of you being lazy, depending on me to complete our assignments!"

"Excuse me?" Violet snarled.

"Uh, Alex?" Twilight said with a nervous laugh. "It's not polite to call a woman fat even if you are mad at her."

"No, I'm not stupid Alex!" Violet hissed. "And I'm not fat either! You're lucky you're my partner!"

"Was that a threat? You know what? If you show me you're not what I just called you then I'll apologize. Last time I checked, you have a responsibility to complete this assignment as much as I do!" At this moment, my annoyance with Violet started starting to turn slowly into anger. I balled my hands fists and even though I've never laid a hand on Violet before, I was getting close to it. I held myself back from doing so. I don't believe in hitting a woman, not even if it's because it's being provoked.

Abigail grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me back to keep me from doing what I wanted to do, holding myself back from wringing Violet's neck.

"I think we should take some time to cool off before we go back out to catch Pinkie Pie." Abigail said.

"And just for that Violet, I think you owe Alex a double apology!" Twilight snapped.

"Well what about him? He's the one that called me fat!" Violet sneered.

"Okay, I get that you're angry," said Twilight, "either way you still owe Alex an apology!"

"And when we head out, I'm taking my bike off of flyer mode!" I roared.

"Good job Violet!" Twilight scowled while glaring at her, "You just had to make him mad didn't you?"

"Yup, we definitely need that cooling off period," said Simon, "and think that should start now and we can meet up in two hours and go back out to catch Pinkie Pie later, sound good?"

"Works for me!" Violet and I replied.

As Twilight and I turned to leave Twilight said. "Yup Violet totally owes you an apology after that shit she just pulled!"

I didn't say anything in response. I just wanted to get away from Violet as fast as I possibly could.
