The Pony Protection Agency or The PPA for short was founded when a group of humans stumbled across a portal that linked Earth to Equestria. Seeing that there were ponies that wanted to live on Earth, The PPA made arrangements for this to happen. Just like if people immigrate to another country, there are rules set up for ponies to come live on Earth. However, there are ponies that break the rules and come over to Earth illegally. Agents that work for The PPA are sent to go after what is called a rogue pony aka a pony that breaks the rules and goes to Earth illegally. 

It's Agent Alex Shipman and Violet Client's job to go after rogue ponies and bring them back to Equestria. However, when they are sent to find an Element of Harmony bearer, Pinkie Pie that has broken the rules and went to Earth illegally, they find that she is a very tricky rogue pony to catch. Thankfully, they have help, Princess Luna the ruler of Equestria has sent Princess Twilight to go after Pinkie Pie. She must be brought back to Equestria at all costs and that's what Alex, Violet, and Princess Twilight are determined to do.

Note: Even though the description is told in third person viewpoint, the story itself is told in a first-person viewpoint.
