Later on almost the entire floor there was a kind of green vaba, or so it was believed by the sight. A pegasus flew through the clouds, escaping from another creature in a bizarre way. "By Celestia. ¿What's going on here ?!" screeched Fred, covering his face with his front hooves. Balance gave him a comforting look, seeing how the poor pony was going into a nervous breakdown, he placed his hoof on his right shoulder. "Do not fear, I will not let either of you get hurt" he assured, giving a warm smile that could brighten up the catastrophic day they were living. Shager made a sound with his throat. "Uhm, we should hurry" he mentioned, pointing to some creatures that were approaching with clear intentions, and they weren't welcoming. One of them pounced on Shager, wanting to attack him mercilessly. Balance conjured a bubble of protection, it rumbled over the creatures, pushing them back. "¡Run!" commanded the alicorn, the two brothers obeyed and the three entered the strange new Ponyville. Balance looked over his shoulder to find that the creatures were still chasing them without any difficulty. "¡Keep running! ¡Keep running until we get to somewhere safe!" "¡¿Safe place?! ¡This place is the realm of chaos!" Shager exclaimed, stumbling over his words. Balance motioned for them to keep running, until he saw the crystal castle at a long distance. A castle in the shape of a tree? He gestured to the two terrified brothers, pulled them closer, and with a simple portion of magic from his horn, they teleported to the castle gates. Equilibrio did not hesitate to touch the door with his hoof, when noticing that it was open, he opened it completely; encountering more of that green vaba on the floors and walls that were once glowing. The creatures were fast approaching, Balance pushed the two brothers into the castle and slammed the door on the creatures' faces. "¿Should we keep going in? I'm sure it belongs to some princess ..." Fred murmured, his brother rolled his eyes hitting his forehead with his hoof. "¡Brother, wake up! The Twilight Princess lives here, everyone knows it. She is the princess of friendship" Shager informed neutrally. Balance could only roll his eyes, he really didn't know any of the new princesses. And she knew that no one knew her. It was an advantage that he could use to his advantage. "I wonder what happened to Ponyville" Balanced whispered, seeing the walls full of that vaba. "The deal." A voice was heard from the darkness, from there came a tiny figure, it was a lilac dragon with green scales. Its wings were bent downward. Balance knew immediately that it was a baby dragon. "¿A dragon?" Fred asked, staying behind his brother. Balance took a step forward, seeing the dragon sob. "¿What happened?". The dragon wiped away his tears. Queen Chrysaris kidnapped Twilight and the others, and she did not come alone" exclaimed the dragon who was still sobbing. It was not good news, Balance was sure that if the villains returned. He was coming back. And it was his fear, everyone's fear. His dark soul, like the abyss, his eyes that took away the souls of others just by looking at him ... Duke Maniac. Balance didn't want to remember, didn't want to. An imaginary fire showed in his eyes, seeing how he remembered the flames devouring the souls. He shook his head and slammed his hoof to the ground, startled at the three presences. "I will not allow him to come back! I will not, I will not ..." Balance broke into a sob, the three of them looked at her with fear and with a frown. "¿What do you mean ... him?" Shager asked curiously. Balance wiped away his tears, showing his firm stance again. "Uhm, maybe I had some help ..." immediately his expression of pride faded. Shager rolled his eyes at the dragon. "¿So the princess was kidnapped?" He turned to his brother, giving him a knowing look. "This tastes like an adventure." Fred made a strange sound in his throat. Balance took a few steps forward, seeing more of what the castle was like inside, when he opened a door. He found six thrones. Each had a mark on it. She saw that the table was a map, she got even closer to him, seeing how the map was showing how the places were being attacked. Spike settled next to her, climbing on one of the thrones and seeing better what was happening. The presences of the two brothers also arrived within the throne room. Suddenly, a dark smoke began to rise from a throne, a dragon's tail fell on the table, causing the four of them to gasp in horror. The dragon's tail began to move in a particular way, and in seconds a creature of many forms was with them. "Sorry I'm late, I was busy with my tea time" he pronounced, and with a snap some teacups were shown floating in the air, he took a light drink, with one open eye fixed on the alicorn. "¡Discord!". Yelled Spike. "¡The god of chaos!" Spike grunted. He crossed his arms and did not look again at the new being between them. Balance turned to being called Discord. "¿A draconequus? I thought there were no more" she looked at him carefully, she knew they were beings not very ... destined to speak formally. "What a coincidence, I thought the alicorns were locked up". he blurted out, all eyes turning to him in a menacing way, he literally shrunk into place. "Oops." Balance couldn't help but feel his gaze fixed on her, knowing that the alicorns had been kidnapped. And she was the missing one of all. Discord approached slowly, showing a not very friendly smile. "¿And who do we have here?" she asked, snapping her fingers and causing a magnifying glass to appear and take a closer look at her, Balance turned away from her. "¡Don't you dare Discord! ¡We really thought you were reformed! Fluttershy must really be too sad ...". The dragon interrupted. A part of Discord shrank, you could even see the guilt in his eyes. "¡Well ... they thought wrong! I am Discordia, the god of chaos. No one can stop me." He uttered, raising his chest in a show of pride. "She does." Balance opened his mouth, seeing how Fred had spoken as if he knew it was true. Equilibrio wasn't entirely sure if she was still as in her old days, powerful. "¡Ha!" Discordia laughed raising her arms in a tired way. Then he turned to her. "¿Who were you by the way?". Balance let out a sigh. "My name is..." She was interrupted by a blast that shot her up to the wall, she saw for a second that something red lived on Discordia's neck, like a necklace ... "¡Blah, blah, blah! I don't care about your name!" The burst fired again. He listened as the two brothers and Spike called out his name in concern. Discord snapped his fingers and sent the two out of the castle of the princess of friendship. Equilibrio opened his eyes to find dirt under his hooves. "¿Why are you doing this? The dragon mentioned that you had reformed" Balanced muttered, raising her eyes to his, Discordia approached and meditated for a few seconds, she opened her mouth and her necklace shone. "I have no choice" he stated snapping his fingers and causing the two of them to appear in a room with a throne, the hallway had many portraits of heroic moments. Balance fell to the ground. Her eyes were closing, she struggled so that this would not happen. The last thing she saw were several footsteps heading toward her.

He tried to get up, it was an attempt in vain, when he turned his head he found that he was bound with chains. His neck was tight with a huge necklace. She was totally chained, she noticed that she was not alone. Princess Cadance was also tied up, she was much more tired since she last saw her, then she guided her gaze to the other end of the dungeons, there was a lilac alicorn, with pink and purple streaks in her hair. Balance wanted to use his magic, but nothing but sparks came from his horn. "I recommend you not to fight, you will never get out of here. Never" was heard a voice echoing from the walls. "The more you try, the more you drain your energy, and in the end, you are left with nothing. The two princesses must tell you, from their own experience of course. The voice laughed in a demonic way. "¿Who are you? ¡Show yourself!" Balance roared, it was true, she was becoming more and more exhausted. The voice kept laughing, until it came out of the darkness. "I see we meet again" for once, Balance recognized the voice. "Unfortunately". The Shadow King raised an eyebrow wryly, stepped closer, and his figure was disguised behind bars. "¿What is your magic?" he asked, it didn't sound like a friendly question. Balance chose not to respond. King Sombra snorted under his breath. "¡Answer back!". "¡I will not do it!" Balance got up and faced him, the chains heavy, but she wouldn't let anyone abduct her forever. Sombra looked at her intently, then vanished into the shadows again. Balance fell to the ground, exhausted. Balance made a bitter effort to get back up, but was stopped by the glow on her cutie mark. She turned her head to her, noticing how her darkness glowed brightly. "Oh no...". Whisper. "No, no, no, no! He. Balance could feel his presence approaching, could see how he was fighting in his cave in the dark beyond. And the chain that held him broke. Duke Maniac had been released. "Go ahead, but help her first," Balance exclaimed, pointing at Cadance. The alicorn nodded. Balance flew to find a way out, an iron door was what he was looking for. He bent his horn up to her and broke her, right away. She searched with her gaze for some presence, but was interrupted by a voice. "¡Waiting!" the two princesses were coming after her. "Good to see you again..." Cadance muttered, still exhausted. Balance nodded somewhat concerned about the state the princess was in. "¡We have to look for the others!" ordered the other alicorn. Equilibrio knew who it was. "You must be the princess of friendship, Twilight. ¿Right?" he asked, determinedly. Twilight nodded lowering her ears with a sheepish smile. Twilight's face changed expression, staring at a point in the room. Balance turned her head and a huge light warned her. The three princesses were trapped in a green vaba that made them wince in horror. And there she was, Queen Chrysalis. "Oh, what do we have here, two insolent princesses and a random one" his voice grew louder, he approached them; raising Twilight's chin wryly "You ..." "¡You'll never get away with it, Chrysalis! ¡Princess Celestia-!" Twilight was interrupted by the queen's malevolent laugh, one that wasn't good news. "¿Princess Celestia?" he repeated bitterly, taking a few steps back, "She and her 'little sister' will not be able to save you. None of you! Chrysalis snorted walking up to the throne, Balance noticed that they were no longer in Ponyville. He remembered the two brothers and the little dragon. Chrysalis sat on Celestia's supposed throne, and stood tall with a wicked smile on her lips. Twilight emitted a moan from when the vaba began to climb from her hooves to her waist, she tilted me everywhere; trying to get rid of the slimy thing. Cadance also kept pace with Twilight, leaning to either side wanting to break free from her grip. Balance narrowed his eyes and attacked. Queen Chrysalis was thrown off by the blast that Balance sent. She made a spell again preparing for the transportation, but was interrupted by the sudden scream of the queen, she stepped out of the rubble that the power of Balance had caused, and walked with firm steps towards her. Equilibrio's legs hit the ground, suddenly, Queen Chrysalis disappeared from his field of vision, a new figure was added. He was no longer in the throne room, he was elsewhere. The flames were huge and hot, behind the flames came a huge and strong figure, especially dark; Duke Maniac. A terrified gasp came from Equilibrio's lips, fear had gripped her. The three alicorns ran through the castle, looking for the one. They noticed that the guards were totally possessed by something or someone, the only question left in their minds was: ¿Had they also possessed the others? ¿How was it that so many villains were in Equestria? Balance wondered, she didn't know who it was, of course. He had spent a lot of time in the mountains, he had missed every adventure, every sunrise and sunset. From the distance I could sometimes see the full moon, but it was totally cloudy, only its brightness was visible. Cadance used his magic to break the door, noticing that smug glances fell on them, they chose to use flight. A stallion unknown to Balance grabbed his hoof with no good intentions, Balance let out a screech from his throat and rocked back. He saw how Twilight was totally grabbed and thrown, Cadance was the only one who had freed herself. Several mares and stallions came up to Balance, their wings doing their best not to fall off. With his magic he ran some ponies, doing them no harm. Equilibrio felt sorry for those citizens, totally out of their consciousness, being manipulated at will. She was waiting for the perfect moment for a new battle, it was not a friendly enough word, but Equilibrio longed for all her battles, and more for the dark ones. No, she couldn't let his darkness affect her, she must control her thoughts. "¡Twilight!" Cadance screeched in agony, trying to get closer to the princess. Balance shook his head and jerked free of the ponies. Seeing how the princess was being attacked by possessed ponies, she immediately cast a teleportation spell. The princesses breathed a sigh of relief, Cadance slumped to the ground, totally exhausted. Twilight glanced at Cadance, then turned to Balance. "Thanks". She uttered, Balance nodding politely. He looked at the sunset and then at the cave they were in, he supposed they were inside a great mountain, inside an abandoned cave. The view was amazing. Equilibrio looked back at the princesses. "I heard that the draconequus was reformed, a being of chaos. If it was really reformed, ¿why did it attack me?" He asked, in a firm tone full of intrigue. Twilight sighed, then her lips moved. "We really thought he was, especially Fluttershy, she really considered him her friend" the princess paused, the answer came, Twilight's gaze hardened. "Then a dark presence came to Ponyville, Queen Chrysalis, then Cadance discovered that King Sombra had returned to the Crystal Empire. Tirek also returned ... His dream was more of a nightmare, the water was under his feet, the more he walked the more he was in the dark, and the light was slowly moving away. A soft melody passed her ear, giving her soft strokes, then the strokes became soft scratches. Balance leapt to the side as a dark figure approached her. "We will see each other again soon ..." She shook her head surreptitiously, pulling memories out of her head that will be hard to forget. "Chrysaris has been fighting in Ponyville, and so has Tirek. ¡They are uniting! I fear to know that they maintain an army, an army of souls" Cadance commented, sitting on his throne with a frown, Balance kept his lips closed. Balance knew what he meant by army of souls. It turns out that he investigated for years in a fairly old book that at one point, a rambling usurper made an army with souls in pain, his hatred was so great that he made the dead come back to life, but with the thought of 'winning the throne for her beloved king. ' Balance opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by an evil laugh that echoed off the walls. Cadance rose from his throne showing a defiant posture. Equilibrio turned his head to find a stallion with dark gray fur and terrifying armor, what most caught his attention were the color of his eyes. "¡Long Sombra King! ¡The Crystal Empire will never feel your hooves on it again!" The princess threatened with a firm all. Balance remained intact in place. She could feel the dark magic emanating from him, it made her carry back her memories. "Who would say that the princess of love threatened like that." The stallion commented wryly, taking steps forward. It showed its fangs and lunged towards the princess, she instantly protected herself with a shield. Balance was out of the fight, they hadn't even noticed her there. A piece of glass fell on his hooves. Black crystals peeked out of the ground, they were huge and pointed. Balance fell to the side, hitting his back with something. From the corner of his eye he saw how the princess was being cornered by the stallion. Balance was quick to get up off the ground and break the crystals with ease, the turquoise magic coming out of his horn easily breaking the crystals made with dark magic. "¡Balance, no!" Cadance yelled, seeing the alicorn approach with the intention of helping. The Sombra King noticed the presence of the other alicorn and cast a spell with black crystals. Equilibrio let out a gasp and threw herself aside as the crystals approached her from the ground. He closed his eyes in dread and when he opened them he breathed a sigh of relief. With his magic he stopped the crystal, making his strength present. "¡Princess!". Balanced yelled, drawing the attention of both of them. King Sombra turned his head to meet the new alicorn again, gave her a grim look, and lunged toward her. Balance rolled on the ground, striking one of its beautiful wings on the glass floor. She was forced to face her face with Sombra from the ground, he placed his two front hooves on either side of Equilibrio's head. "¿What do we have here?" He muttered coldly to her, Equilibro lost his breath trying not to lose control. The Sombra King snorted as Cadance staggered off the ground. Equilibrio made a gesture and struck a hoof of the king who was before her, he snorted releasing it. Before Cadance wanted to face his enemy again, he turned into a shadow and took off as dark and fast as possible. But first, he murmured that he would return for his Empire. "I know he just left, but he will be back in a short time. ¿Hours? ¿Weeks? I've been like this for a week, I no longer feel the strength to beat him. And I miss my husband and daughter" stammered the princess with melancholy, he sat down on the throne with weary strides. Balance I wait for him to finish speaking. "I can see that you fight for your kingdom, but even the alicorns need to rest" Balance did not want to name her name, but what was left of another to mention her. "And Princess Celestia ... is she aware of this villain's return? Cadance nodded with his eyes closed, then a weak smile settled on his lips. "I was born an alicorn." Cadance widened his tired eyes, smiling admiringly. "¡My daughter was born like this too!". Balance smiled as he sat on the ground and examined his injured wing. He felt a stab of pain in his left wing that prevented him from stretching it. He swept his long, heavenly white hair to the side, seeing better that his wing was somewhat purple. "You should go, the Empire is not safe. I will order the two stallions removed from the dungeons. Nice meeting you, Balance." The princess hinted, lifting her chin showing a firm posture. Balance frowned in concern. ... oOOo ... Equilibrio saw from afar the figures of the two brothers, he also saw how they were arguing awkwardly. The princess in a gentle gesture gave them a trip on the train to Ponyville, Balance did not want to leave the Crystal Empire so easily knowing that an ancient villain was back, and not alone. "¡Oh, lady with the beautiful voice! ¡You are alive!" Hello Fred, his brother rolled his eyes as he entered the train. Equilibrio smiled, but his smile slowly faded as he felt the cold on his fur, he looked up at the dark sky that was looming. She entered the train and sat near the two brothers, she noticed that their confused gazes were on her. "¿What was his name like?" Shager asked with a frown, her brother laughed, she raised an eyebrow. "Balance, my name is Balance." The two brothers ignored her. "¡I'd say call it warm snow!" Fred mentioned, Balance lowered his ears. "¿What kind of a name would that be?" Shager snapped, frowning. Fred shrugged, guiding his gaze to the wounded wing of the alicorn. "¿What happened to you on your delicate wing?" he asked cautiously, rolling his eyes. Balance lowered his gaze to her. "A certain King Sombra threw me to the ground." The two brothers jumped out of their seats, hugging each other. "¿Y-did you say king ...Sombra?" Fred muttered in dread. "Yes, he also wanted to attack the princess. But he vanished like a shadow ...". The few passengers on the train ran as far as they could from Equilibrio and his talk with the two scared brothers. "Normally, his name is not mentioned in the Empire. It brings back horrible memories of his rule in the Crystal Empire." Shager exclaimed, calming his trembling brother. Balance pursed his lips. It was still strange to him all the new things that have happened over the years, he could not deny it either. She was intact in the mountains for quite a while. She clung to the 'new threat' thought she was weak, not totally strong. I could not feel cold, nor heat. But spending time in the mountains had made her somewhat weak. Equilibrio looked up at the window, he hadn't noticed how long he was inside his thoughts. The first thing he saw was the new Ponyville. And also the chaos that was in him.
