Previously on Prince of Friendship, Lightning Dust was forced to confront her inner demons in order to pass the test of a mysterious black fox named Rob Snowden. After passing the test, the fox then revealed their name and their identity as a former justice hero.

"...What the heck is a Justice Hero?" Rainbow Dash asked, quite curious.

"A Justice Hero is someone who does what they can to help others and vanquish the darkness. But what really separates a Justice Hero from a normal hero is true power." Rob said.

"True Power? What the heck is that?" Lightning Dust asked.

"True Power comes from within. And that is a statement I cannot tell you the answer to, because what that means changes from person to person. Therefor, if you want the answer for yourself, you must discover what your true power is, and how you can use it to stop the oncoming darkness." Rob said.

"If your really a justice hero, then why aren't you taking care of it?" Rainbow Dash countered.

"My time of being the hero has passed. I've been alive much longer then you can even conceive. All I can do know is prepare others for the fight ahead. Something which I have accomplished here today. I've long since retired from the life of a Justice Hero, and besides; I have all I really need now in my life." Rob said.

"Did you really have to push me so hard though?" Lightning Dust asked.

"Like it or not, but your going to have to give it everything you've got if you expect to defeat the approaching darkness. I simply provided the means of which for you to do so by forcing you to confront your inner demons." Rob said.

"I see..." Lightning Dust said.

"And unlike the darkness your going to face, your life was not in any real danger for my test. If you had those insecurities going into the upcoming battle, then you would have been killed. There's a lot more then just your life at stake should you fail: Your entire world is in great danger." Rob said. "But like I said, it is no longer my time to be the hero. The rest is up to you." He added before suddenly vanishing.

"What the...where did he go?" Spitfire asked.

"...Rob Snowden...who are you, really?" Rainbow Dash asked herself as she looked at the spot where he once stood.
