Flash Sentry entered Spike's Room, and found it a mess; a bunch of plushies of a single white unicorn were thrown around and ripped open without a second thought. These must be plushies of Rarity... Flash thought to himself. He would've questioned why Spike had so many but after what he heard from Twilight, seeing this now, would have only confirmed Starlight's suspicions. She may have just started learning friendship, but already she saw someone whose of a broken heart. Flash thought to himself as he approuched the young dragon.

"Oh. Hey Flash. Here to make fun of the dragon who thought he could get the woman of his dreams?" Spike asked.

"No. I came to ask you what had happened with Rarity but..." Flash said before turning his head slightly to the mess. "...Judging from what I'm seeing, I think I have a good guess." He added.

"You think she broke my heart by telling me off huh? Well truth is, I saw her with another pony at her boutique. And she would NEVER invite a stallion there unless she was sure it was a serious relationship and it wasn't someone trying to use her for her business." Spike said. "So I don't think I have a chance with her anymore." He added.

"So? Maybe your heart was on the right track. Doesn't she have a little sister?" Flash Sentry said. That got Spike to perk up.

"Hey yeah...yeah your right!" Spike said and got up from the bed. "Thanks Flash. I'll go see if she would be interested in trying to be a couple right away." Spike said.

"Ahem...Princess Twilight Sparkle would kill me if I let you leave without cleaning up this mess first." Flash Sentry said.

"...I'm not her son." Spike said.

"I know. You see her as your older sister." Flash said. Spike couldn't help but blink.

"...Seriously? That makes you the only person outside of Shining Armor who realizes that we see each other more as siblings then as parent and child..." Spike said.

"So I've been told. But I know the princess would still get on you for making a mess of your room like this." Flash Sentry said.

"Yeah...I guess your right." Spike said.

"But I'll tell you what: I'll help out." Flash Sentry said. Spike smiled.

You know, maybe Flash will work out with Twilight well enough to the point where I don't have to worry so much. Spike thought to himself.

A while later, the room was all cleaned up and Spike was off to find Sweetie Belle, so Flash rejoined Twilight and Starlight.

"Hey. Spike just went by earlier. He looked tons better. What exactly happened?" Twilight asked.

"All I did was tell him that Rarity has a little sister and he took to it like a cat does to fish." Flash said.

"Wow that's...actually what I would've done. But I actually know her name. I'm sure I'll be able to introduce you to her and her friends tomorrow considering they can usually be spotted going around helping ponies out with cutie mark problems." Twilight said.

"Wait they do what now?" Starlight asked, confused.

"Oh right. That was before you came along. Would you believe they got their cutie marks in helping other ponies with their cutie marks?" Twilight said. "I mean, I thought the thing with Troubleshooes in Appleloosa was a fluke, but after Diamond Tiara and getting their cutie marks from helping her out, I'm now 100% sure that they are destined to help ponies with their cutie marks." She said.

"Wow...that's actually a very unique thing. I don't think I've heard of somepony getting a talent like that, let alone three getting the same talent." Flash Sentry said.

"I theorize they have two talents actually. Their primary talent is helping others with their cutie marks sure, but from what evidence I've gathered, Apple Bloom is great with construction, Sweetie Belle is an excellent singer, and Scootaloo is a daredevil at heart." Twilight said.

"Huh...I don't think I've ever seen a pony have two talents before. But how do they all get the same primary talent?" Starlight asked, curious.

"Must have something to do with how connected they are to one another. Apple Bloom is an earth pony, Scootaloo is a pegasus, and Sweetie Belle is a unicorn; the three are another prime example of what happens when the three pony tribes come together to work in harmony only they do it on a much smaller scale then the friendship fire." Twilight said.

"Huh...guess I'll have that to look forward to tomorrow." Flash Sentry said. Suddenly a very happy Spike came through and was going to his room; holding a very valuble green gem.

"...And I take it that his asking out of Sweetie Belle went well." Starlight said.

"Well part of my philosphy has always been that when one door closes, another door opens." Flash Sentry said.

"Wish I knew that back before I became evil..." Starlight said.

"At least your putting forth the effort to change." Twilight said. "...Despite the fact that I really do need to get a royal guard set up. I think I should let Spike have some time to himself now that he has a much happier mood." She added.

"Here here..." Flash said, smiling.

Meanwhile in Spike's Room, the young dragon finished shaping the green emerald into a lookalike statue of Sweetie Belle.

Yeah there's also some Spike x Sweetie Belle paring going on in this fanfic. While not on the same level as Flash Sentry x Twilight Sparkle for me, Spike x Sweetie Belle IS a ship in the "Ships I Will Write About" category.
