The next day, Twilight and Flash left the friendship castle with Starlight behind to keep an eye on things.

"Despite yesterday, today feels like it's more official considering I'm getting the whole Ponyville Tour." Flash Sentry said.

"You bet. I think we should start with Sugarcube Corner so you can meet the cakes; their the bakers here. If any of the other princesses come here, you can bet this'll be the first place you'll want to check because the first time Princess Celestia wanted to come here, Pinkie Pie had gobbled most of the buffet." Twilight said.

"I've been meaning to ask...is it just me or is she the most random of your friends? I couldn't help but notice how she could litterally warp all over the train car we were in." Flash Sentry said. "Er...that is if it's okay for me to know that information..." He quickly added.

"Actually, I was wondering if you were going to bring it up now, or after she throws you a 'Welcome to Ponyville Party' later." Twilight said and opened the door, only for Flash to get tackled by the party mare in question.

"Hi there, sorry, I can't stay and chat. Party Pony coming through." Pinkie Pie said and then left very quickly.

"...Okay so if you were expecting me to ask the question, maybe you should try answering Princess." Flash said.

"Sorry. Let's just say that I've learnt the hard way it's better to not question Pinkie Pie's methods at all." Twilight said.

"Considering what Shining Armor says about you, Princess, I bet you did some kind of experiment with her or on her. One of the two." Flash said.

"A little of option B and then more of option A." Twilight said simply before entering the store proper.

"Sorry about that your highness...it's just you know how Pinkie gets." Mrs. Cake said.

"Mrs. Cake, you've known me for long enough you don't have to call me by royalty titles. I consider the two of you just as much of my friends as Pinkie Pie." Twilight said.

"You are far too kind to us, Twilight; still I suppose you do have a point." Mrs. Cake said. Flash Sentry was looking around.

"So if your Mrs. Cake then where's..." Flash Sentry said before Pinkie Pie suddenly showed up and her body had a combo of Pinkie Sense.

"I got an ear flop, eye flutter, and knee twich suddenly..." Pinkie Pie said. Noticing where Flash Sentry was standing, Twilight quickly used her magic to teleport Flash Sentry out of the way; just in time too, as Mr. Cake came in carrying two baby foals.

"...What was that for?" Flash Sentry said.

"That's part of Pinkie Pie's randomness. More specifically, her Pinkie Sense. I'll teach you the other signs later, but ear flop, then eye flutter, then knee twitch means look out for opening doors." Twilight Said.

"Uh...okay..." Flash Sentry said just as Pinkie Pie left. "So that's where Mr. Cake was. Huh...twins. You two must get pretty busy with the two of them." He said.

"We do. But with Pinkie Pie's help, we manage to make it work most of the time." Mr. Cake said. Twilight bought some snakes for the road but Flash Sentry just stood there and said nothing.

"...I'm surprised your not asking about how two earth ponies can have a unicorn and pegasus foal." Twilight said.

"In my spare time when I was in guard training, I studied genetics. So they both had the potential for this. Sure it's super rare for both to be seperate species from their parents but...my cousin on my uncle's brother's side of the family is an earth pony and one of my other cousins is a unicorn. Turns out two of my six ancestors were an Earth Pony and Unicorn respectfully despite the other four being pegasus." Flash Sentry said.

"Huh...so you actually understand that this isn't that far of a stretch then. I know I've said this twice already, but how could we have NOT met before the equestria games?" Twilight said. If this keeps up, I may have to actually see if there is a potential for romance here.

On the way to Sweet Apple Acres, the duo spotted Rainbow Dash doing some Wonderbolt training.

"Oh hey Rainbow Dash; your training still?" Twilight asked.

"Yep. Not gonna stop." Rainbow Dash said.

"Huh...well me and Flash are headed towards Applejack's. Later." Twilight said before the duo left.

Rainbow Dash kept doing her wonderbolt training before whistling. Out of a nearby bush came Soarin of the Wonderbolts. "Coast is clear. Thank god. If Twilight or any of my other friends found out whose been training me, they'd totally hag me all the way to the bank and back." Rainbow Dash said.

"Ha! Nice self-jab." Soarin said.

"For as booksmart as he seems, I doubt Flash knows about Spitfire. I highly doubt they taught him that in guard school." Rainbow Dash said.

"Ha! Guard School! Good one Dash!" Soarin said.

"Heh heh...you know, your still the only stallion who gets me. I don't think any other one's made me this comfortable around them. Plus if Applejack knew the real reason I didn't gag at Flash's crush on Twilight, I'd never hear the end of it." Soarin said.

"It's good thing we've kept our realtionship on the down low. Not even Spitfire knows." Soarin said. "I better get back to hiding." He said and hid back in the bush.

Rainbow Dash couldn't help but smile. The day her relationship with Soarin could become public knowledge would happen one day...she just had to be patient.
