Author's Note

This episode is basically a reference to the fact that Gummy is Twilight’s pet instead of Pinkie’s. Characters don't use the word Friendship in this universe they us Pal instead hence The Pal Festival, Pal Park and Pal Balloon a reference to one of Mickey Mouse's iconic phrases.

Even though it's a he in the show i'm not gonna have Twilight and Pinkie just assume Owlowiscious' gender since they just met it.

Sorry if the pasting between Magic-Tools is a bit bad, but now that i think about it without the long pauses Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes are pretty short

Owl Well That Ends Well (Pinkie’s Owl)

The Castle Of Adventure better know as Twilight’s Clubhouse or the Twilight Sparkle Clubhouse, the unicorn owner of said clubhouse was currently sitting in her purple chair and reading a book about birds.

Since Twilight had given Spike, Rarity, Fluttershy and Gummy all a nice formal vacation she had the clubhouse all to herself meaning that she could mark stuff off her bucket list like pick fresh blueberries, use a pogo stick for the first time and was currently learning about birds.

She then heard a noise that she first brushed off as just in her head but each time it repeated it got louder and seemed to actually becoming from somewhere, the sound as it got louder it also seem to sound like one of those smartphone ringtones. Twilight eventually put her book down, pulled the lever on her chair which put down the led recliner and looked to the side.

“Huh didn’t even know that thing had a sound or purpose.” Twilight thought as she found that the smartphone ringtone was coming from a blue screen in the wall with 4 individual colored squares purple, yellow, pink and green as its normal default image.

Once Twilight got up from her chair and walked over to the screen she pressed a red button on the bottom which mad the 4 default squares disappear and a highly distorted, broken up, brown image took it’s place. She tried to make out the image but it was too messed up to see so she pressed the red button which made the image slightly clearer but still pretty hard to make out.

The unicorn pressed the red button again, except this time the image started to take shape its height was pretty tall and it had wings. She pressed the button one last time which finally revealed the image it was a picture of a owl but this image seem to be a cut out stock image of an owl, all of a sudden the 2 short mechanical claws on top of this screen started clapping and followed by a blast of confetti right in her face.

Speaking of claws, after Twilight wiped the confetti off her face and the short mechanical claws stopped clapping a long claw reached for the castle's front door and opened it for Pinkie coming in with a nest on her head that seem to have a brown pom-pom inside.

"Pinkie why are you here I thought you were gonna go help Cheese Sandwich at his party shop? Twilight asked the pony "Well while I was heading their I found something cool and knew i had to show it to you, guess what it is?" Pinkie exclaimed pointing at the nest on top of her head

"A nest?" Twilight answered "No you filly silly it's a cool hat with a pom pom in it!" Pinkie corrected her, the purple unicorn laughed "Pinkie that's not a hat it's a nest more specifically a birds's nest and the pom pom in it doesn't look like an egg, just looks like a piece of fluff."

All of a sudden the brown pom pom or fluff started moving inside the nest before getting up revealing that it wasn't just a piece of fluff or a pom pom but a owl, while it looked pretty similar to the stock image of it was shorter and looked less threatening.

"Now where did I see that bird?" Twilight thought as she stared at the owl that just woke up.

Flashback

Twilight was on the balcony of the clubhouse using it's telescope to look at the stars, all of a sudden a strange silhouette flew past it. She took her eye out of the telescope and looked around her area only to see the same figure fly past her into the clubhouse.

She took the elevator from the telescope down to the main room of the castle clubhouse and caught a owl perching on a coat rack.

"Hey you're not allowed in here!" Twilight yelled before diving at the bird only for it to fly away when she tried to grab it resulting in the coat rack snapping in half, the owl landed near the Magic-Doer but just like last time she missed the owl and crashed into the gears of the machine causing her to get a bump on her forehead and shortly after that the owl flew out and exited the clubhouse through the front door.

"Eh I can forgive it" Twilight thought then getting snapped out of her thought by Pinkie showing the unicorn the owl perching and resting in her hands before it snuggled against her face "I think it likes you Pinkie what are you gonna name it?"

"Huh hadn't thought of that, uh let's see here Owl...owl what..Owlcool no...Owlbird no not that either." Pinkie muttered before thinking of the first thing that came to her mind which was a Triple Layer Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate Ice Cream Cake which was delicious "OWLOWISCIOUS!" she exclaimed

"Well hi Owlowiscious i'm Twilight Sparkle." the unicorn introduced "Who" the owl seem to ask "I'm Twilight Sparkle you know leader of the club!" she explained "Who" Owlowiscious seem to ask again which made one Twilight's eye twitch.

"Look at it go!" Pinkie said as it flew out of her hands and landed and perched on Twilight's purple chair, when the duo walked over to grab it, it then flew over to a giant lever and somehow it had enough weight to pull it all the way down to the last light.

"UH OH!" they both exclaimed in union followed by the room switching to the kitchen, luckily they both jumped out of the rotating room before they were trapped under the kitchen.

Owlowiscious then flew and landed on the handle of a toaster with launched out 2 perfect slices of toast, landed on a piece of ham that rolled along the counter and finally the owl landed on a spoon that launched the ham and the piece of cheese. The mechanical claws then grabbed the ingredients, raised a crystal tile to use as a table where they all fell and made a sandwich.

"Yummy a ham and cheese sandwich!" Pinkie exclaimed before grabbing the sandwich and eating it in one bite which left Twilight extremity confused "Tasty!" the earth pony commented before spitting out the bone from the piece of ham.

The owl the landed on the sink handle which released a stream of water then sprayed both Twilight and Pinkie in the face. "Here birdy, birdy" Pinkie said as they ran over to the sink to grab only for it to fly away and land on the lever again. "NOT AGAIN!" they both said union again

"I've got it, no i've got it!" Twilight then Pinkie said as they jumped up and attempted to grab Owlowiscious while the room was rotating from the kitchen back to the living room.

Twilight tries to grab it when it lands on the purple bean bag only to miss and when Pinkie tries she slips on the pink one and sits down on the purple one.

Owlowiscious goes back to he purple chair and starts flying from armrest to armrest, Twilight tries to grab it only to sit down in the chair followed by Pinkie trying and landing in the unicorn's lap "Embrassing!" she comments. As the owl keeps on flying around the clubhouse the duo start chasing it around the slide before crashing into each other.

"Now where did it go?" Pinkie asked as she and Twilight rubbed the back of their heads, they looked around he room and didn't seem to find the owl. After a while of waiting and hoping Owlowiscious would just come out of its hiding spot the owl then came down the slide.

"Uh Twi I think Owlowiscious is sad" Pinkie stated noticing the sad expression on the owl's face when it landed and perched on Twilight's hand.

"Hey Pinkie where did you find Owlicious nest?" Twilight asked "Well while on the trail to Cheese Sandwich's shop I found a large tree and saw the nest and thought it was a hat." the earth pony explained

“Well if that's the case we better need some tools, TO THE MAGICDOER!” Twilight said which scared Owlowiscious causing him to fly over, land and perch on Pinkie's shoulder

“Magic-Hey, Magic-Hi, Magic-Ho… Magic-Ready, Magic-Set, HERE WE GO! ”Twilight started singing

“We’re a thinking and a solving working throughers.” she sung as she hopped across 3 crystal tiles to the right side of the room.

“Magic-Me, Magic-We, Magic-Doer” she sung as she hopped across 2 big crystal tiles to the left side of the room.

“Magic-Me, Magic-We, Magic-Doer” she repeated hopping to a tall crystal tile on the right side of the room before jumping off it.

Landing on another one, doing a one hand handstand before flipping of and landing on the tile in front of the Magic-Doer

A flying screen with ears, horn and wings suddenly flew by.

“Oh Toodles it’s time to get to it show us the Magic-Tools to help us do it” Twilight sung as Toodles inserted himself into the Magic-Doer.

“Magic, Meeska, Magic-Doer.” Twilight said which made a green gear, pump and pony ears become visible on the Magic-Doer

”Here are your Magic-Tools” the machine said before pulling up a screen.

"A pogo-stick bouncy, a pair of tweezers for picking things, a small blanket cozy. a dozen blueberries yum, and finally the mystery Magic-Tool that's a surprise tool that'll help us later!"

"Toodles has the tools, the herd gets the tools so when we need them Toodles will bring them, he's here and meedles and yoodles and all we have to say is Oh Toodles! all we have to say is Oh Toodles!" Toodles then wiggles his ears before flying away.

"Come on Twi lets go take Owlowiscious back home to the large tree in the forest!" Pinkie says walking towards the front door. "Hang on Pinkie first we have to look through to telescope to find the large tree in the forest say telescope...TELESCOPE!" both ponies yelled which activated a mechanism that turned the large tile under them into a elevator that took them to the roof where the telescope was.

"Alright gotta find a large tree." Twilight repeated a few times out loud before continuing to repeat in her mind as she looked into the telescope and landed on a lake.

"Nope that's just a lake" a few moments later she landed her eyes on a playground "Nope that's just the Pal Park" she said before moving the telescope over a little and spotted a large tree in the middle of the forest.

"Um Twilight how are we gonna get Owlowiscious from the clubhouse all the way to the large tree in the forest?" Pinkie asked "Easy we can just take The Pal Balloon you know the purple balloon behind that crystal door." Twilight claimed pointing that said door.

The duo then took the elevator back down to the castle before leaving the castle and making their way to the small tower with a crystal door except when Pinkie tried to open the door it didn't seem to budge, she put both her legs against the door and tried to pull it open only for her to lose her grip and crash into something with a loud bang,

"Oh yeah forgot I put this here to stop Spike from using it too much." Twilight admitted showing Pinkie a notepad besides the door that required the unicorn's signature to open.

"Pretty sure I've got a quill in here somewhere" Pinkie claimed as she reached into her mane and pulled out a bunch of random things which include of a toolbox, a box of jelly donuts, a cupcake, a wooden bat with splinters on it, a wooden club, a bunch of wooden boards, a clock, a watch and a bell.

"You know what Pinkie instead of trying to find a quill in your mane how about we just use one of Owlowiscious feathers." Twilight suggested she then grabbed one of Owlowiscious wings but when she grabbed a feather only half of it came off it wasn't even the part with the tip.

"Looks like we might need a tool" Pinkie stated "Right you are Pinkie everypony say Oh Toodles...OH TOODLES!" both ponies yelled.

Pinkie's mane suddenly rustled a bit and Toodlles shortly came out of it, he flew around a little and looked at Owlowiscious "Who" the owl seem to ask "That's Toodles he brings us our tools." Twilight explained "Who" the bird ask again, Twilight eye twitched again she then face palmed herself.

"Alright a pogo-stick, a pair of tweezers, a small blanket, a dozen blueberries, and the mystery Magic-Tool, which one can we use to pluck a feather from Owlowiscious?" the unicorn asked .

"How about the pogo-stick!" Pinkie suggested which was followed by Toodles showing the pogo-stick just bouncing against the owl's wing "That's not gonna work" Twilight said trying to keep in her laughter in "The pair of tweezers should work the best."

Once Toodles handed the pair of tweezers to Twilight she carefully approached one of Owlowiscious wings and plucked a feather from it, it was a clean pluck not a single part of the feather was missing, she wrote her signature which then dissapred into the paper and opened the crystal door which allowed the duo to hop inside the basket and deploy the Pal Balloon.

"This balloon sure is handy!" Pinkie comments, Twilight giggles "That's why it called The Pal Balloon!" she responds. After a while of flying over lots of trees with the large one no where in sight they spot a flock of birds flying towards the Pal Balloon "Uh oh time to steer!" the unicorn states before pulling the rope above her head which brought the balloon down allowing the flock to go under them, before going back up.

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, out of the blue, suddenly, unexpectedly etc Owlowiscious stomach growled, it then placed a wing on it's stomach, opened its mouth and closes its eyes "Twi I think Owlowiscious' hungry got any worms?"

"I don't got any worms but maybe one of our tools can help us feed it everypony say Oh Toodles...OH TOODLES!" Toodles flew up to the Pal Balloon and looked at the owl again "Who" the bird seem to ask again "I've already explained who he is to you Owlowiscious!" Twilight reminded it

"Alright a pogo-stick, ~~a pair of tweezers~~, a small blanket, a dozen blueberries, and the mystery Magic-Tool, which one can we use to feed Owlowiscious?"

"Can you eat a pogo-stick!" Pinkie asked "That's silly" the unicorn comments as Toodles show footage of the earth pony at a table with the pogo-stick on her plate "I once ate a hubcap!" the earth pony adds which somehow changes the pogo-stick to a hub cap and show her actually taking a bite out of it.

"Aw Pinkie while you might be able to eat a pogo-stick the dozen blueberries are the only edible tool so lets use that." Twilight puts the 12 blueberries in her hand and Owlowiscious eats all them up surprisingly quickly "Yum, yum,yum,yum!" Pinkie comments.

"Whoa look the large tree!" Pinkie exclaims pointing at the said tree, Twilight looks back and finally sees that they've made it to the center or middle of the forest. The unicorn pulls the rope above her head again which brings the Pal Balloon down except this time they hit a part of the sky where there's large gusts of wind so as a result Owlowiscious gets cold and shivers.

"Uh-oh looks like Owlowiscious is getting cold." Pinkie claims "Well that's a new record for having to use another tool everypony say Oh Toodles...OH TOODLES!" the pony screen comes out of a cloud shakes himself off and them flies around a little.

"Alright a pogo-stick, ~~a pair of tweezers~~, a small blanket, ~~a dozen blueberries~~, and the mystery Magic-Tool, which one can we use to keep Owlowiscious warm?"

"The pogo-sti-" Before Pinkie could even finish that sentence Toodles showed footage of the pogo-stick balancing on the owl's head despite this it was still shivering and the wind even knocked it off.

"While it's true that the pogo-stick would cover up Owlowiscious more the small blanket could cover it perfectly and keep him warm." Twilight once handed the blanket then put the small blanket over the bird and after a while it stopped shivering and even cooed.

Twilight and Pinkie were too busy embracing Owlowiscious and thinking about how cute he looked that they failed to notice gusts of wind blowing them towards a tree with pointy branches and once the balloon did the popped dropping the basket and causing the two ponies to start screaming.

Once the basket hit the ground both ponies dizzily climbed out of the balloon which was followed by the owl landing on Pinkie's head "Hey look Twi the large tree!"

Pinkie and Twilight then excitedly raced over to the large tree, but something else they fail to notice was that between the tree and the duo was a cliff.

"Uh Twilight how are we gonna get from here to down to the forest?" the pink pony asked "Well obviously were too high to jump that's for sure." The purple pony responded

"Looks like were gonna need another tool for this everypony say Oh Toodles...OH TOODLES!" Toodles then flew past them even having to make Pinkie move her mane out her face.

"Alright a pogo-stick, ~~a pair of tweezers~~, ~~a small blanket~~, ~~a dozen blueberries~~, and the mystery Magic-Tool, which one can we use to get down to the large tree?"

"The pogo-" Pinkie was then rudely interrupted Twilight slapping her "Sorry Pinkie I knew you've never used a pogo-stick before but you just gotta stop joking about using the pogo-stick." the unicorn stated.

"Now I'm serious this time we can use the pogo-stick" Pinkie countered while rubbing her cheek "The pogo-stick is bouncy so we can use it to jump down to the tree and plus its bounciness should break our fall." she explained

"Well can't argue with you their." Toodles then reluctantly handed Twilight the pogo-stick which Pinkie climbed onto then grabbed the unicorn and placed her on her shoulders, after a while of bouncing in one place the stick then dipped an angle and caused the duo to do a 360 spin and bounce of the cliff Pinkie letting out a holler

"Are you alright Twi" the pink pony asked picking the unicorn up "Yeah i'm fine" she responded even though the pogo-stick had broke to pieces both ponies were alright "While it didn't last long at least I finally got to use a pogo-stick and it was fun that's for sure!"

Pinkie and Twilight approached the large tree unfortunately they couldn't get Owlowiscious to fly to a branch so they tried lifting it up to one, Twilight was too short too reach only being 4ft and Pinkie despite being taller at 6ft couldn't quite reach. "Looks like were gonna need a tool everypony say Oh Toodles...OH TOODLES!" Toodles flew under them but luckily the two ponies managed to jump over him.

"Welp looks like it's time for the mystery magic-tool everypony say Mystery Magic-Tool...MYSTERY MAGIC-TOOL!" it then revealed the mystery tool to be a slide "We've used all of our tools say super ch- you know what we've used all our tools time for noodles." she restated

The duo both find themselves staring at bowl of instant ramen, Twilight frowns when she checks her bowl "Bleh I think mine is spicy here Pinkie you can have it." the earth pony then proceeds to slurp up both bowls of ramen in a instant similalr to the ham and cheese sandwich from earlier.

"Now how are we suppose to get to the large tree with a slide does the opposite of what we want?" Twilight stated "Don't worry Twi I've got just the thing." Pinkie then pulls out a container of chalk powder and puts it on the unicorn's shoes

"Give it a go Twilight!" the earth pony suggests, Twilight takes a deep breath before running at and then up the slide, and finally reaching the nearest branch, when she placed Owlowiscious on the branch it then walked over into a hole in the tree and fell asleep.

"Wait a second!" Twilight muttered as she slid down the slide, reached into Pinkie's mane pulled out a book about birds and flipped to the owl chapter.

"Oh right owls are nocturnal, awake during the night, asleep during the day...welp Pinkie while I walk back to the clubhouse and read this book about birds you go help Cheese Sandwich at his party shop." Twilight concludes before going onto the trail that leads back to the Castle Of Adventure.

"Bye Owlowiscious sleep tight!" Pinkie exclaims before continuing the trail and eventually arriving at Cheese Sandwich's party shop but when she walks to the front door she find a sign saying close, confused the earth pony then checks her watch.

"I've been on that Adventure for 2 HOURS...huh I guess time really does fly." she quipped before slightly frowning and walking back to the Clubhouse.
