Chapters Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
The Turtles, Rainbooms, April, Casey, Karai, Shinigami, and Keno were rooftop jumping in New York City.
“Nothing like a rooftop jump in New York,” Sunset Shimmer said while running.
“I hear that,” Applejack agreed.
“Hey, Applejack, bet you can’t catch me!” Rainbow said while running past the country girl without using her geode.
“You’re on Rainbow, and no magic!” Appljack declared, running as fast as she could.
“Just like old times,” Casey said while watching.
“So, how’s things at Canterlot?” April asked.
“Fine, April,” Twilight said. “School’s been delightful.”
“Easy for you to say, Twilight,” Rainbow said from afar, having heard them.
“At least we have some time off,” Sunset said.
“Perhaps we could do some shopping,” Rarity said.
“Or feed the pigeons,” Fluttershy meekly suggested.
“Or find some punks to beat down,” Caset declared.
“I’m with ya, Casey,” Raph agreed.
What the Ninjas and Rainbooms didn’t know was that a falcon was following them, which they overlooked.
Just then, they heard a disturbance. After catching up with Rainbow and Applejack, who were unclear about who won, they saw the Purple Dragons harassing a street musician.
“These guys again?” Pinkie said.
“Don’t they have better things to do,” Karai asked.
“Well, let’s give them a good beating,” Raph declared with his said at the ready.
The Purple Dragons continued beating the musician down.
“If you want to play on our streets, you need to pay the toll,” Fong said as he pushed the man down. Even going as far as smashing his guitar in front of him. The poor musician had no other choice but to run.
But before the dragons could do anything, the ninjas jumped down in front of them with their weapons ready.
“Ugh, not you again!” Sid said.
“Yeah, us again,” Pinkie declared.
“Ninjas, take ‘em down!” Leo commanded.
So the ninjas and Purple Dragons ran towards each other and fought.
Leo was blocking Fong's attack. “You are becoming more desperate, aren't you? Trying to steal from a roadside musician.”
“He was performing on our streets!” Fong replied as he tried to slice Leo with a hatchet, but Leo blocked it and knocked the weapon away.
Sunset Shimmer was facing Tsoi, who kept punching her, which she dodged.
“Hold still, little girl!” Tsoi tried to punch her again, but Sunset grabbed his arm and flung him over her shoulder.
Nah, not going to do that,” Sunset teased.
Each ninja was facing a Dragon and whooping their butt. Casey managed to whack two with his hockey pucks. April pushed them back with her psychic abilities. Keno whacked a few with his sticks.
“Nothing like beating Purple scum to the ground,” Casey said as he tased one.
Raph then came in and kneed one in the head. “You got that right, Case.”
Rarity was fighting until she noticed some clothes in the store window. She marvelled, “My, what gorgeous designs!” A purple dragon snuck up behind the girl, but Rarity back-fisted him and kicked him without looking. “It's rude to interrupt a lady when she's browsing.”
Twilight Sparkle was fighting a female dragon.
“Come and get me, four eyes,” the dragon insulted.
“Actually, you can come to me,” Twilight said as she activated her magic on the Dragon, floating the dragon towards Twilight before delivering a roundhouse kick.
Karai and Shinigami were dealing with more purple dragons, but Karai turned into her snake form and knocked them down while Shini used her ball to hypnotise them.
Pinkie was jumping around, using her sprinkle explosions, “You need more sprinkles, and you need more sprinkles!” The sprinkles exploded, distorting the dragons.
Rainbow blocked a club attack before kicking the dragon away. “You Purple punks get easier to defeat every time.” Rainbow then delivered a super-speed punch.
Just then, the giant mutant turtle known as Hun, the leader of the Purple Dragons, approached them.
“So, we meet once again Turtles. And this time, it will be the last time,” Hun declared as he charged at the Ninjas. But the Ninjas dodged his attack.
“You said that last time,” Rainbow pointed out.
“And the time before,” Raph continued.
“And every other time before that,” Keno said.
“And we kick your butt every time!” Casey bragged.
“Well, we’re gonna end you for good this time!” Hun declared.
But before Hun could attack, the falcon flew down and struck him in the face.
“Aah, get off me, you stupid bird!” Hun swatted the bird off of him, allowing the other ninjas to deliver a final blow towards the giant turtle.
After which, the rest of the Purple Dragons had enough and fled.
“And don't come back!” Mikey cheered in victory.
After a brief celebration, the ninjas turned to see the falcon that attacked Hun. It was a Lagger Falcon. But it wasn't just any Lagger Falcon, it was a Falcon that Rainbow Dash recognised.
“Aaserak?” Rainbow recognised the falcon.
“Rainbow, isn't that your boyfriend's pet?” Mikey teased Rainbow, which caused Rainbow to push the goofball turtle away.
“What's that wrapped around his neck?” Twilight wondered. The Falcon had a letter wrapped around its neck.
“Maybe it's a love letter for Rainbow,” Casey teased, which made the gang chuckle and Rainbow blush.
“Aw, now that’s sweet,” Pinkie chimed in.
“No, it’s not!” Rainbow blurted out. “I usually text him, and he replies in a day or two. Anyway, if Aaserak’s sending me a message, it must be important.”
Aaserak squawked a bit, which Fluttershy used her geode to translate.
“He says he’s here with an invitation. For all of us.”
The gang were surprised by this. Rainbow opened the paper and began to read it.
“Dear Rainbow Dash, you and your friends are courtly invited to the country of Reinkani to attend the coronation of Crowned Princess Vera Shaah. The Royal family also courtly requests that you and your band perform a song at the Coronation party.”
The gang were shocked by this.
“Going to a Coronation?” Rarity said in excitement. “This will be wonderful.”
“A Coro-what?” Mikey asked, not knowing the meaning.
“A Coronation is a ceremony when a country officially crowns its monarchs as kings and queens,” Twilight explained.
“Wow, so Princess Twilight would've had one,” Mikey pointed out.
“Yes, she would’ve,” Leo said. His mind instantly went towards the Princess of Friendship.
“Which will also mean a party!” Pinkie excitedly pointed out as she threw confetti in the air.
“And it will be fascinating to see Reinkani up close,” Twilight said, interested in researching more on Reinkani up close.
“What do you say, team, up for a trip to Reinkani?” Leo asked everyone.
And so, the Ninja's next destination was Reinkani.
Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
The Reinkanian Royal Family
The Island nation of Reinkani. Located in the middle of the Bay of Bengal. On that island was the Reinkani Royal Palace, where the Royal Family lived.
The Royal Family enjoyed dinner in the dining room at the Royal Palace in Reikani. The family included Reinkani's Queen, Unna Shaah, who sat at the head of the table. The Queen wore a white and gold saree with her gold nose ring and headpiece.
On the queen's right was her daughter Charra, who wore her purple dress and white jacket. Sitting next to her was her husband and son-in-law, Deepak Nyaa, who wore a blue Nehru jacket, black pants and glasses.
Sitting with them was their son, the Queen's grandson, Yod Nyaa. He wore a white shirt with green three-quarter sleeves, black pants, bracelets, and a gold hoop earring on his left ear.
On the queen’s left were her two granddaughters, the daughters of her late son and daughter-in-law. Princess Saundra Shaah was the youngest in the family. She wore a blue shirt with a light blue sareem, white slacks, and a necklace.
Her older sister, Princess Vera Shaah, wore a pink long-sleeved shirt with lavender slacks, a jewelled nose stud, and a red bindi. She would soon be crowned the next queen.
“So preparations are coming along nicely?” Queen Unna asked.
“Of course, Grandmother,” Vera replied.
Unna then turned to Yod, “And I hear there was trouble earlier in one of the villages.”
“Yes, Grandmother. But my team and I managed to sort it out,” Yod confirmed.
“Thank you, Yod. You and the others have proven yourselves to become true Guardians of Reinkani.”
“Thank you, grandmother. It has been truly an honour to protect our country,” Yod declared with pride.
Unna turned to her youngest granddaughter.
“Saundra, how was your day?”
“It was alright, grandmother. Did more studying in the library,” Saundra replied.
“Very good, my dear,” Unna replied. “And I trust you've been taking your medicine?”
“Yes, grandmother, I have,” Saundra said, looking pouty.
Princess Chaara noticed her youngest niece's expression. “Saundra, dearie, I know you don't like it, but it's only a little longer.”
“I know, Aunt Chaara,” Saundra said.
“Actually, your recovery has come much faster than expected,” Chaara said with interest. “Your recent results have been excellent. I think tonight will be the last time you must take your medicine.”
“Really?” Saundra asked in delight.
“Of course, but if your health doesn’t improve after that, you’re going back on them,” Chaara told her niece.
“Yes, Auntie,” Saundra replied.
Vera said, “But you should still be careful. I'm still worried about, well...”
“My sudden change in eye colour,” Saundra reminded her sister.
“I'm still curious about that myself,” Chaara admitted.
“But whatever the case, those eyes make you beautiful,” Unna said to her youngest granddaughter, causing the young princess to blush.
Just then, Aaserak came flying in. The bird landed on Yod's arm with a letter in its beak.
“Did they get the message?”
Aaserak gave Yod the letter, who then read it. Asserak squeaked, which got Saundra’s attention, but the Princess didn’t say anything. The family knew who the letter was from.
“Is she coming?” Vera asked with a smirk. The whole family joined in
“Not just her, but her friends as well,” Yod pointed out.
“You mean those turtle warriors you told us about? Who are part of the Hamato Clan?” Chaara asked, remembering hearing about them from her family.
“The very same, mother,” Yod replied.
“Well, they're welcome to stay here in the palace,” Unna said.
“They'll be coming soon,” Yod pointed out.
“Just try not to freeze when you see her,” Vera teased her cousin.
“What are you talking about? I never freeze,” Yod declared, but the family rolled their eyes.
Just then, a woman approached the family. She had black skin and short black hair. She wore a red uniform with a gold breastplate and gold bangles. She also carried a spear.
“General Yalim,” Queen Unna greeted the woman. “What's the report?”
“My guards have investigated the recent thefts. Mainly riches being stolen, but they've also stolen machinery parts,” Yalim explained to the Royal Family.
“This is very concerning,” Queen Unna worried. “These people have something big in mind.”
“Grandmother, my team, and I can continue investigating these people,” Yod suggested. “And Rainbow Dash and her friends can help as well.”
“From what you described about Rainbow Dash and the footage you showed us of the Turtles and Rainbooms, they are indeed noble warriors of the Hamato Clan,” Unna agreed.
But General Yalim had concerns, “Your majesty, are you sure it's wise to have help from these outsiders? We don't know much about them?”
“That's true. But from what we know, one of them worked hard and ran fast to save Saundra's life, and the others worked to disable those Ice Fortresses,” Unna pointed out. “And they are also of the Hamato Clan. So from what we've seen, they can be trustworthy.”
“Yes, they have faced many powerful enemies, monsters, and they've prevailed,” Yod stated.
“You learned that from your phone conversations with Rainbow Dash?” Vera asked with a smirk.
“That's none of your business,” Yod embarrassingly said, which made the family laugh. “Unless you want me to tease you about Kumar.”
At that moment, the family stopped laughing, wide-eyed. Vera now looked down with regret. Yod’s parents and grandmother looked at him with disappointment as Yod realized his mistake.
“I'm sorry, that was a low blow,” Yod apologised to his cousin.
“No, don't worry about it. Kumar and I are cool; I'm over it, him,” Vera said, clearly trying to convince herself.
But her grandmother wasn't buying it, “Vera, sweetheart, do you want to talk about it?” Unna asked.
“What's there to talk about? There's nothing to talk about,” Vera said with an awkward laugh, but then she composed herself. “Grandmother, may I be excused?”
Unna looked at Vera, wanting to say no, but she sighed, “You may, my dear.”
Vera left the table, still feeling down about the subject. Saundra turned her head towards her cousin and glared at him.
“Nice going, idiot,” Saundra reprimanded Yod.
“Yod, you know what Vera's breakup with Kumar was like,” Unna said with disappointment in her grandson.
“I know, I'm sorry,” Yod apologised.
“It's Vera you'll need to apologise to,” Chaara told her son.
“But he can do it after he does the dishes,” Unna told Yod's punishment, which Yod groaned about.
The family left the table as servants grabbed their dishes and brought them to the kitchen, with Yod following for his punishment.
“Try not to freeze when you see the girl,” Yalim teased Yod, who was getting annoyed.
“Why does everyone keep saying that,” Yod said as he made a start on the dishes.
As the Royal family left, Saundra said, “I can't believe Yod would say something like that.”
"Indeed, I expected better from him," Chaara said, disappointed in her son.
"Well, to be fair, none of us should bring up a certain topic to tease him," said Deepack
"But we were just..." said Saundra before being cut off.
"You mean well, that may be true," said Deepack, "He shouldn't have said that, but we shouldn't have brought a certain topic up that he wasn't comfortable to talk about either. Though we mean well, there is only so much that a person can take."
He looked at Chaara and said, "If I remember hearing about the fight between you and your brother years ago after you teased him?"
This caused Chaara to look down in shame, remembering that her teasing had caused a temporary rift between her and her brother.
"Wait, Aunt Chaara fought with Dad because she also teased him?" asked Saundra.
"That's right," said Unna, remembering that, "The two of them had a big fight, and they didn’t speak to each other for a year before your Grandfather and I forced them to sit down and talk it out.
"So yes, Yod should mind what he says about certain topics to others," said Deepack, "But that should count for everyone else as well, no matter how sensitive it can be. So, I believe both apologies are in order. Yod, to apologize to Vera and all of you to apologize for teasing him about it."
"How is it that you're so calm about it?" asked Saundra.
Deepack then remembered a particular event as he looked down in shame and said, "Because I understand it better than you know."
“You mean with Samira?” Chaara asked as Deepack nodded his head.
Unna placed her hand on his shoulder in comfort.
Princess Saundra was walking down the hall with Aaserak following her.
“We really egged Yod on, didn’t we,” Saundra said feeling a mixture of anger and sadness, talking to the falcon. Aaserak screeched in reply. “Okay, we were just having a bit of fun. Plus, it’s nice Yod has a crush on someone.”
Saundra was discussing with the Lagger Falcon as if she could understand him.
“Are you still talking about Yod’s crush?” a voice said. Saundra turned to see a Hispanic girl around her age wearing a yellow shirt and blue capri pants. She had long brown hair in a braid.
“Hey, Mariana,” Saundra said to the girl.
“Hey, Saundra,” the girl, Mariana, replied. “Still talking to the bird?”
Aaserak screeched in response.
“He doesn’t like being called a bird. He’s a Falcon,” Saundra corrected.
“Sorry, Aaserak,” Mariana apologised to the bird. “So how’s the whole, talking with animals…”
“Ssh,” Saundra stopped Mariana from saying something before whispering, “You have any idea how my family will react?”
“Okay, okay, you’re right,” Mariana agreed. “How long has that been going on?”
“Since after my surgery, and it’s both cool and freaking me out,” Saundra admitted.
“Around the same time, your eyes changed colour?” Mariana asked.
“Yeah, around that time,” Saundra confirmed.
“Don’t worry, amiga; we’ll figure it out,” Mariana assured.
“Thanks, Mariana,” Saundra thanked Mariana, giving her a side hug. Mariana was secretly blushing.
Yod was in the palace kitchen, washing the dishes.
“Stupid me for opening that wound, but they started with their teasing,” Yod muttered in annoyance.
“I take it dinner time didn't go so well...”
Yod looked to see a brown-skinned boy his age. Wearing a blue sleeveless hoodie with brown pants.
“You trying to sneak a snack again, Lakshy?” Yod asked, raising his eyebrow.
“That, and trying to get away from my parents,” the boy, Lakshy, said.
“Don't blame you,” Yod replied, knowing about Lakshy's parents.
“So what got you on dish duty?” Lakshy asked as he grabbed a bread roll to snack on.
“I may have commented about Kumar in front of Vera,” Yod admitted.
“Ah, got it,” Lakshy said, knowing about that.
“But they were egging me on about Rainbow Dash,” Yod said in frustration.
“The speedy girl from America?” Lakshy asked.
“Yep, that's her,” Yod admitted.
“Well, what's the problem, you clearly like the girl,” Lakshy pointed out.
“Of course. She's brave and skilled,” Yod admitted while blushing.
“I’m sure your family means well and are excited about you meeting a nice girl,” Lakshy informed.
“Yeah, you're right,” Yod realised.
“But your family's reaction to dating is better than mine,” Lakshy said disappointedly.
“Even though you haven’t told them yet. But you're dating the General's daughter; what did you expect?” Yod pointed.
Lakshy decided to change the subject, “Anyway, you said Rainbow Dash was a member of the Hamato Clan, right? And you invited them here?”
“Yeah, it was also a surprise to me,” Yod said. “The master will want to meet them.”
“You think they'll also help us with these bad guys that have been popping up lately,” Lakshy pointed out.
“Well, they're coming for the coronation. So let them relax. And maybe help out if they want,” Yod said as he continued washing.
Princess Vera was in her bedroom, sitting on her bed while looking at a framed photo of herself as a six-year-old girl with a little boy next to her.
“I shouldn't be thinking of this; I'm about to be queen,” Vera told herself. “Right, Roen?” Sitting next to Vera was a white cat with black patches. The cat just stared at her before nodding off. Vera sighed in defeat. But then she looked at a portrait on her wall. It was a portrait of her late parents, King Kanu and Queen Uvel. Vera then had tears in her eyes, “What if I'm not meant to be queen?”
“Is that what mom and dad would think?” Vera turned to see Saundra and Unna approaching.
Unna then sat beside her granddaughter, “Are you okay, dearie?” The cat, Roen, immediately got up and rested on Unna’s lap. The Queen stroked the cat
“I'm, it was just a little spat between cousins,” Vera excused her cousin. “Nothing to worry about.”
“We all know that it isn't just that,” Saundra pointed out. “We know your breakup with Karim was hard.”
“We're still cool,” Vera said. “It's not like he put on a phoney cool act when we were together in public, or even when it was just us, thus denying me the sweet and loving goofball nerd I fell in love with.”
“To be honest, I preferred the lovable nerd Karim hides as well,” Saundra said.
Neither knew they were being eavesdropped on from outside the room into the hallway by a teenage boy who then left. But as he went, Unna discreetly turned to the door, knowing who it was eavesdropping on them.
“I'm meant to be Queen soon; I shouldn't be thinking about this,” Vera said, not realising they were being listened to.
“Hey, that just makes you human, sweetheart,” Unna consoled her. “Do you think it hasn't had moments like this during my reign as queen?”
“You mean when...” They looked at the portrait of the late King and Queen with sadness.
“I'm saying, being Queen doesn't mean you can't have these feelings,” Unna explained. “You’re gonna be a great queen, Vera.”
“You think so?” Vera asked.
“Of course. You got that amazing brain and kind heart and beautiful eyes and lovely hair,” Unna teased her granddaughter.
“Grandmother,” Vera whined in embarrassment. Unna then pulled her granddaughters into a hug.
"You will do great things for this country," Unna encouraged Vera. "I believe in you; we as your family believe in you; the palace and its people believe in you; the people in this kingdom believe in you. And more importantly..." She glanced at the portrait. "they believed in you.
“Thanks, Grandmother,” Vera thanked her grandmother.
“Anyway, we have guests coming in a few days,” Saundra pointed.
“Indeed. Tomorrow, we'll begin preparations,” Unna stated.
Unna and Saundra left the Crowned Princess to her thoughts.

Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
A few days later, down at Canterlot High, the Rainbooms were waiting in front of the statue. With them were Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, A.K.A, Canterlot Movie Club, or the CMC. Together with them were two members of the Rock N Beats, Melody and Sweetheart.
“Thanks again for letting us come with you to Reinkani,” Applebloom thanked her sister.
“No prob, Sugercube,” Applejack replied.
“And thank you for inviting us,” Melody said to them.
“No problem. Too bad the other Rock N Beats are too busy right now,” Rainbow Dash pointed out.
“I'm very excited to see what inspiration this country will give my next line,” Rarity said excitedly.
“And I can't wait to see the wonderful animals that live there,” Fluttershy said, again expressing her love for animals.
“It would be so fascinating to see the history and culture of Reinkani. As well as seeing the royal coronation,” Twilight said with enthusiasm.
“And I'm looking forward to the party!” Pinkie excitedly said as she unleashed her party cannon.
Soon, the Turtles arrived, along with their allies April, Casey, Karai, Shinigami, and Keno. Their friend Gabby Rivera was also with them.
“We're here, yo,” Mikey pointed out.
“Hey guys,” Sunset said. “Ready to see Reinkani?”
“Sure are,” Leo said.
“Hope Reinkani is ready for Casey Jones,” Casey smirked.
“Nice of you to warn them,” Gabby teased Casey.
“Hey, Gabby,” Pinkie said to their friend.
“Hola, guys,” Gabby said.
“You’re joining us?” Rainbow asked.
“Of course. I got time, and I wouldn’t mind seeing a new place,” Gabby explained.
“Are the others not coming?” Fluttershy asked, noticing the absence of some of their friend.
“Buffy’s gone to Milan for a fashion show with her parents,” April explained.
Rarity then pouted, “Lucky.”
“Caitlyn's working on a story, and Zach's helping her,” Raph told them.
“What kind of story?” Scootaloo asked.
“She's gathering evidence of Chris Bradford's activities with Shredder and the Foot and gonna expose him for what he truly was,” Raph said with a smirk.
“Payback, boy!” Mikey pumped up as he fist-bumped Raph.
“Glad to know people will learn the truth about him,” Rainbow said.
And Carter and Angel had to see their grandparents,” April explained.
“Max’s being dragged to a yoga retreat by his mom,” Casey explained.
“Pervis is with his dad,” Leo explained. “Walks is taking him on a ride on one of the Utrom Stealth ships.”
“And Hana's still on that Asian trip with her dad,” Karai explained. “She even recently met up with the monks.”
“That's nice,” Fluttershy said.
“Oh, well, it's too bad they couldn't come,” Rarity said.
“We'll be sure to send them photos,” Applejack suggested.
Just then, Chompy appeared on Raph's shoulder, and Rainbow took the little alien turtle in her hands.
“Hey, Chompster, you ready to see Reinkani?” Rainbow asked the little turtle. The little turtle squealed in delight.
“Hey, Mikey, you're not bringing Ice Cream Kitty?” Pinkie asked.
“Nah, the heat over there would be too much for her,” Mikey told her.
“Hope she doesn’t throw any Lair parties,” Casey joked.
Pinkie then popped up next to him, “Uh, a Lair Party? Why wasn't I invited!?”
“I think Casey was joking,” Gabby clarified.
Pinkie shrugged.
“So, how’re we getting there?” Scootaloo asked.
“Are we using the portal projector to get there, Donnie?” Sunset asked.
“Actually, Yod said that the Queen arranged a jet for us to take us to the east coast of India, and then we got on a boat to take us to the country,” Rainbow explained.
“A private jet, sweet,” Casey exclaimed.
“Talk about arriving in style,” Rarity excitedly said.
“They know how to treat their guests,” Keno said.
Twilight then realised something as she turned to the turtles. “Wait, you guys don’t have passports!”
The others worried that the turtles couldn't legally leave the country because they didn’t have passports. But the turtles didn’t seem worried.
“Don't worry, dudes. We do have passports,” Mikey told them. Donnie then showed them passports with their holographic human disguise photos on them. "Courtesy of Miss Nowhere.”
“The woman may be a pain, but she was kind enough to give these to us,” Raph told them.
“Anyway, gang, the Jet is picking us up from the Airport, so we better get moving,” Leo said.
The turtles got into the Shellraiser, the Allies got into the party wagon, and the Rainbooms and young ninjas got into their tour bus. With Leo, Casey and Applejack each taking the wheel, they set off towards the airport.
Applejack drove to the nearby airport. Once they arrived, the turtles activated their hologram disguises and entered the airport.
Once they approached the front desk, Rainbow showed the receptionist the invitation, who got up.
“Please follow me,” the receptionist said.
The Ninjas followed the lady towards the outside as they approached a plane carrier, where a man was waiting for them. There was also a big plane there, which impressed them.
“Sweet plane,” Mikey said.
“It's no spy plane, but still tiene buena pinta,” Gabby said.
“I can't wait to ride in it,” Sweetie Belle said excitedly.
The receptionist left, leaving the Ninjas with the man.
“Greetings, I will be your pilot on this trip,
So, they got onto the plane, which looked luxurious inside. They all took their seats and fastened their seatbelts. Just then, the speakers heard a voice on the plain.
“This is your main pilot speaking. Before we take off, let me follow some instructions for your safety...” The pilot went through the basic instructions in case of an emergency. Some of them paid attention, while others were bored. Finally, the pilot finished: “On behalf of the Reinkani Royal Family, we hope you enjoy your flight.”
The plane began to take off. Sweetheart was nervous because she wasn’t used to flying, but Fluttershy could calm her down.
The flight was seventeen hours. During this time, the gang did things to keep them occupied. Mikey read his comic books. Twilight also read some books she brought while Rainbow Dash was reading Darin Do, while she tried to contain her excitement and nervousness about seeing Yod again. The CMC, Sweetheart and Melody watched a movie on Sweetie Belle's laptop. Casey, Keno and Gabby were playing a video game on their handheld devices. Leo and Karai were quietly meditating despite being in a crowded aeroplane. Raph tried to nap, but to no avail, as Mikey and Pinkie Pie annoyed him. Donnie was working on some projects in his notebook. Rarity was working on some designs, hoping the trip would inspire her. Applejack and Pinkie Pie were playing a game of cards, with Pinkie not understanding the game. Spike was sleeping very comfortably on one of the seats. Safe to say, the plane ride wasn't all that delightful.
When they finally reached their destination and landed, the gang were eager to get out. Once out, they were all stretching and feeling stiff.
“Finally, I thought that flight would never end,” Raph said as he cracked his back.
Casey stretched his arms. “I don't think I've ever been on a plane ride that long before.”
“I don't know, guys; I found it very comfortable,” Spike said, feeling chirpy after rest.
“Well, dogs can sleep comfortably wherever,” Rainbow pointed out while stretching.
“Anyway, we're off now,” Leo pointed out.
The gang looked at their surroundings to see the country they landed in.
“Whoa, so this is Reinkani?” Mikey asked.
“Actually, no, we're in Eastern India,” Twilight explained.
“Why not just fly it straight to Reinkani?” Scootaloo asked.
“Don't tell us we must hop on another plane,” Raph groaned.
“No, Raph. Reinkani doesn't have an Airport of its own since there isn't room for one,” Donnie explained. “So, we're gonna take a boat.”
“Ooh, a boat ride!” Pinkie said excitedly.
“A much more peaceful way to travel,” Rarity said in relief.
The gang headed to the docks, where a big boat awaited them. They all got on and rode across the water.
“Such lovely ocean,” Fluttershy said.
“It is,” April agreed.
“Nicer than being on that plane,” Rainbow said.
“Oh look, are those dolphins?” Mikey piped up.
They looked to see the dolphin swimming past them.
“It is a dolphin,” Fluttershy said.
“Oooh,” The CMC, Melody and Sweetheart said in amazement.
“This is the life,” Keno said.
“Well, don’t get too comfy,” Twilight told him. “We’ll be arriving in Reinkani soon.”
“Ooh, I can see the Island!” Sweetie Belle said in excitement.
“So that’s Reinkani?” Scootaloo asked.
“Looks like a nice island,” Mikey said.
“All right guys, we’re about to doc,” Leo said.
The boat parked right next to a dock. The gang exited the ship and approached the jeeps placed for them. Waiting in front of them was Yod Nyaa. Rainbow instantly blushed when she saw him.
“Yod,” Rainbow meekly said as she saw her crush.
Yod was no better. “Hi.”
The two stared at each other in silence, completely forgetting the other’s presence. They all chuckled and grinned at the two. Finally, General Yalimi broke the silence.
“You froze,” General Yalimi said to the prince. Yod instantly snapped out of it and greeted everyone else.
“Welcome to Reinkani,” Yod greeted the others as he shook Leo's hand. “It's an honour to have the Hamato Clan with us.”
“Thank you for inviting us,” Leo replied.
“This country is beautiful,” April said in amazement.
“Thank you, young lady,” General Yalimi said as she greeted them.
“This is General Yalimi, Reinkani's top General,” Yod introduced the woman beside him.
“Greetings, young ones. The Royal Family may have invited you, but that doesn't mean I instantly trust you,” Yalimi declared, which made the others uneasy.
“She's a bit weary of strangers,” Yod explained.
“Yeah, I get how she feels,” Raph admitted, knowing his history with new people.
“Well then, let us take you to the palace,” Yod declared.
Everyone got into a jeep, with Yod taking the wheel behind one and Yalimi taking the wheel behind the other. Rainbow sat in the front seat next to Yod, while Leo sat shotgun with Yalimi. They drove through the jungle of Reinkani, seeing mostly trees and plants. They also saw a few animals in the forest, like monkeys, birds, and ocelots, which Fluttershy adored. They passed a few farms in the country, which Applejack and Applebloom admired due to their farm back home.
“Those sure are some mighty crops,” Applejack said.
“The farmers sure know how to grow ‘em,” Applebloom pointed out.
They continued driving until they then approached a city.
“Welcome to the main capital of Reinkani, Pohzi,” Yod introduced the city. It looked like an eastern village, with a few vehicles, many marketplaces, and a castle in the distance.
The two jeeps pulled up beside a statue, and everyone got out.
“I thought you'd like to walk the rest of the way,” Yod offered.
“That would be great, thank you,” Leo thanked the young warrior.
The gang walked through the streets, looking at many of the shops.
“This reminds me of the village set from the Darin Do movie,” Rainbow pointed out. “Only real.”
“Of course, Rainbow, this is any normal Middle Eastern village,” Twilight pointed out. But then she noticed something. “Except... that crate is hovering by itself.”
The gang looked to see a crate on a trolley, but the trolley was hovering instead of having wheels. They were dumbfounded by this.
“How is that possible?” Donnie asked.
“I'm afraid that is classified information at the moment,” Yalimi told them. The gang looked at Yod, who had a solemn look on his face.
“I'm sorry, guys, but I'm not inclined to explain at the moment. But I'm sure Grandmother will allow it once I get her permission,” Yod explained.
They continued walking, admiring the city.
Mikey then noticed a fenced area in the distance with guards at the entrance.
“Hey, Yod, what's over there?” Mikey asked, pointing towards the fence.
“That fence is blocking the people to one of Reinkani's greatest mistakes,” Yalimi explained.
“Greatest mistake?” April asked.
“Something that almost cost us everything,” Yalimi ominously said. “So that area is forbidden.”
“Understood, General,” Leo respected.
The gang continued walking when Mikey noticed something that made the party turtle gasp, “Dudes, look at the statue.”
There was a statue in the centre, a statue of the Hamato Clan symbol. The ninjas were in shock that their clan symbol was being displayed.
“Is that the Hamato Clan symbol?” Sunset asked.
“Our clan symbol?” Leo inquired in shock.
The others were surprised as well.
“Yes, it is,” Yod confirmed.
“Why's there a statue of our Clan symbol in Town?” Donnie asked.
“It’s a dedication to the Hamato Clan for helping us in our time of need,” Yod explained.
“Well, it wasn't much,” Rainbow said, feeling a bit cocky.
“I'm not talking about Seattle. I'm talking from around thirty years ago,” Yod said.
“Thirty years ago!?!” the ninjas said in shock.
“How? We never heard about this?” Sunset said.
“My family and I will explain in the castle,” Yod told them.
“Step lively, we don't want to keep them waiting,” Yalimi said as the group pressed on.
The gang arrived at the Royal Palace. They were awestruck when they saw it up close.
“Amazing,” April said.
“Divine,” Rarity said in awe.
“Now that's a sweet palace,” Mikey said.
“That's the Royal Palace,” Yod explained.
Everyone approached the Palace and entered inside. They were in the courtyard as they approached the entrance to a hallway. But before the gang could enter, Yod stopped them.
“Before we go in, we must take off our shoes before we enter, as it is a sign of respect,” Yod told them as he removed his shoes and placed them in a special box.
So the gang took off their shoes. Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, April, Shini, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle were barefooted, while the others wore socks.
“Good thing I got that wonderful pedicure before coming here,” Rarity said.
They put their shoes in special boxes.
Mikey then noticed, “Uh guys, we don't really have shoes to put away.”
They were in holograph disguises, so they couldn't remove their shoes. But they didn't want to be disrespectful.
“Actually, you can lose the disguise,” Yod told them, much to their surprise. “My family and the Royal Staff are sworn to secrecy. The staff have been told that you turtles would be...”
“Giant mutant turtles,” Raph rhetorically asked.
“Different, but you are guests of the Royal family. So they are to be respectful,” Yod told them.
“But as long as you respect them as well,” Yalimi said, not wanting any disrespect from them towards anyone.
The others agreed.
“Now follow me; my family's been waiting for you.” Yod led them down the halls to see the Royal Family.
Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
Yod and General Yalimi led the heroes down the hall of the Royal Palace. The gang was amazed by its interior.
“So, much inspiration!” Rarity squealed in excitement.
“So beautiful,” April said in amazement.
“Many of these hold great value to our country,” Yod explained.
“That's surprising to hear you say that, Prince Yod,” Yalimi said. “As I recall, a younger you breaking a few things in here.”
Yod blushed as a few of the others chuckled at his embarrassment.
Mikey attempted to touch a piece of art, but Raph stopped him.
“Don't touch anything, Mikey.”
The gang kept going until they reached the door. Standing before it was a muscular man with light tan skin and short black hair. He wore a uniform with a shark tooth on a necklace.
“General, Prince Yod. And guests,” the man acknowledged everyone, even the turtles.
“Captain,” Yod greeted the man.
Rainbow recognised him, “Hey, weren't you one of the bodyguards from Seattle?”
“Yes, I was. Good takedown of Bisp, by the way,” the man complimented.
“Thanks,” Rainbow replied.
Yod introduced the man, “This is Captain Kai. Captain of the castle guards and Yalimi's husband.”
Yalimi blushed as she approached Kai and kissed him on the cheek, “My love.”
The girls couldn't help but go, “Aaww.”
Yod turned to the ninjas. “Okay, guys, I will teach you the Royal Salute before anything else. It's a custom when greeting a member of the Reinkani Royal Family.”
“How does it go?” Leo asked.
Yod placed his left hand forward, palm facing him and backhand facing them, keeping his fingers and thumb together. He then put his right hand on top of his left. He brought them forward and bowed his head. That was the Reinkani salute.
It looked simple enough. So the ninjas gave it a go, and it looked good enough.
“Very good,” Yod complimented.
The doors opened, and they entered. Yalimi presented the Royal Family.
“Presenting, the Royal Family of Reinkani, Queen Unna Shaah. The Queen's daughter, Princess Chara Nyaa, and her husband, Prince Deepak Nyaa. Along with the Queen's granddaughters, Princess Saundra Shaah and Crowned-Princess Vera Shaah.”
As Yod described to them, the heroes approached and presented the Reinkani salute to them.
Yalimi then presented the guests, “Presenting Reinkani's saviour, Rainbow Dash. Along with her friends, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, April O’Neil, Casey Jones, Karai, Shinigami, Keno, Gabby Rivera, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Melody and Sweetheart.” Spike barked to remind the woman. “And Spike.”
Leo stepped forward and did the Royal Salute, “Greetings, your Majesty.”
“Welcome, everyone, to Reinkani,” Unna greeted the clan. “Come forward.”
The ninjas moved closer to the royal family. Yod then gestured to Rainbow to the front, which she did.
“Uh, nice to see you again, your majesty?” Rainbow said, feeling nervous.
“Rainbow Dash!” Saundra said as she approached the Rainbow-haired girl and hugged her, much to Rainbow's surprise, but she gladly returned the gesture.
“Princess Saundra, glad to see you're all better, Princess,” Rainbow said as she hugged the Princess back.
“Thanks to you,” Saundra replied after letting go.
“Yes,” Unna agreed as she approached the girl and held her hand. “You helped us in our time of need, not only to save Saundra but also to expose Dushta's betrayal.”
“Well, I had help from Carmen and her team. And Yod.” Rainbow looked at Yod, who looked away while blushing.
Queen Unna couldn't help but smile at the two. Princess Vera then approached the group, more precisely Casey and Gabby.
“Gabby and Casey, it's so wonderful to see you again,” Vera said as she hugged them.
“Nice to see you as well, Princesa,” Gabby greeted the Princess.
“Yeah, nice to see you,” Casey greeted as Vera let go.
“I never got the chance to properly thank you for saving me back on the road,” Vera thanked the two.
“Nothing we couldn't handle,” Casey boasted, which caused Gabby to roll her eyes.
Unna turned to the rest and said, “And I wanted to thank you also for helping with those ice machines.”
“Just doing what we do best,” Mikey boasted, causing Raph to hit him.
Prince Deepack and Princess Chaara approached everyone else.
“So you’re the famous Rainbow Dash we heard so much about,” Deepack told the girl.
“My parents,” Yod introduced them. “Deepack and Chaara Nyaa.”
“Yod has talked about you, you know,” Chara teased.
“Mom,” Yod said in embarrassment.
The family laughed at Yod's embarrassment.
Vera then noticed Spike scampering up to them. Vera and Saundra couldn't help but adore the puppy.
“Aw, hello, little doggy,” Vera said as she held Spike and cuddled him, which Spike loved.
Chompy crawled up on Raph's shoulder, revealing his presence. Saundra instantly adored him.
“Aw, what a little cutie,” Saundra said, gushing at the little turtle.
Rainbow picked Chompy up and presented him to the Princess, “This is Chompy Picasco.” Rainbow brought Chompy forward so Saundra could pet him.
After petting Chompy, Saundra noticed Sweetheart and Melody. Once she saw Melody, Saundra instantly fell for the girl.
Melody felt a bit awkward when the Princess looked at her. “Uh, honour to meet you, Princess?”
“Please, call me Saundra,” the princess insisted.
Queen Unna got everyone's attention, “Why don't we all gather in the dining area and catch up over chai.”
“Oh, I like Chai tea,” Keno said.
“Uh, Keno, was it? Deepack asked. “Chai is tea.”
“Thank goodness Khivr isn't here right now,” Yod whispered, Vera nodding in agreement.
“My apologies, you're Majesty,” Keno apologised.
“It's alright, young man,” Unna forgave. “Just be careful with what you say from now on.”
The Royal family led their guests, the ninjas, to the sitting room with a round table. Once everyone gathered and took their seats, the servants served everyone tea.
“I am quite curious,” said Unna before pouring herself some tea. “How did you Turtles came to be?”
“Last we spoke in Seattle, you mentioned your father was Hamato Yoshi.” Said Yod.
“That’s right?” asked Donnie.
“Did…you know of him?” asked Mikey.
“Not personally.” Said Deepack, “But we have heard of him.”
“Of how he and his family died nearly seventeen years ago in a fire when the Clan fell.” Said Chaara as her voice was in partial despair.
“But your being here, confirms he survived.” Said Deepak in relief and delight.
“Sounds like you know more about the Hamato Clan than a few others do.” Said Raph in suspicion.
“The Hamato Clan is highly respected in our country.” Said Unna before taking a sip of her tea.
“We kinda figured after seein’ that there statue at the center.” Said Applejack, remembering what they saw earlier.
“How is it that Reinkani knows about the Hamato Clan?” asked Leo.
“About thirty years ago,” began Chaara, “Reinkani had been invaded by those who wish to do our country harm and gain our resources. The previous clan leader, Hamato Yuuta, led his clan and aided us in our time of need. They drove them away that day and saved all of Reinkani that day.”
“Whoa.” Said Mikey in awe as he and the others were amazed and didn’t know about that part of their Clan’s past.
Unna placed her cup down onto the table after taking a sip, “From then on, the Hamato Clan have been worshipped in our country. We were saddened when we heard of their demise. Even if we don’t know the full details.”
“But most of us do.” Said Leo on behalf of himself, Karai, the Turtles, their allies and the Rainbooms.
“How?” asked Vera, as the royal family wished to know.
“It’s like this.” Began Leo.
Leo explained how the Hamato and Foot clans were at war with one another until one day, the Hamato Clan defeated the Foot Clan. Then Yuuta discovered Oroku Saki was all who survived, but he was but a baby, so instead, he decided to adopt Saki.
Over the years, the two of them grew up together like brothers but were sometimes rivals when training. Though Saki didn’t want the help, it didn’t stop Yoshi from trying. Then in time, they both fell in love with a woman named Tang Shen, but she chose Yoshio instead, thus sparking further jealousy from Saki, even when both Tang Shen and Yoshi gained a daughter, naming her Miwa.
Then one day, someone who descended from their ancient enemy, Hoo Chan, who tricked both clans into waging war long ago, told Saki of his family origins. And in time, jealousy turned into hatred when he learned of his origins and vowed vengeance against the Hamato Clan. So, whilst his newly formed foot attacked the remaining Hamato ninjas, Saki chose to confront Yoshi. The two of them fought, especially Saki, who unintentionally starting a fire within their dojo, causing it to slowly burn.
Tang Shen tried to stop the fight, but Saki, in his bloodlust for vengeance, struck her down as she took the blow, killing her instantly. But during the fire, part of Saki’s face burnt, deforming him. After the fight, Saki took Miwa away, leaving Yoshi to his fate.
“So, after killing Tang Shen and burning down the Dojo,” concluded Leo, “Shredder ended up taking Miwa away while he thought Yoshi died in the fire. In time, Saki rebuilt the Foot Clan, took over Japan’s underbelly, and donned the name, Shredder.”
The entire Royal family was in tears after learning what had happened to the clan, but they were also scared.
“I can’t believe Oroku Saki would do that,” Vera said in tears.
“Shredder was filled with nothing but hatred,” Leo said.
“Still, he’s a horrible man.” Said Vera.
“Man? Shredder is anything but a man.” Raph retorted.
“He was a monster, a demon,” Leo said, angrily remembering the Shredder.
“And he took Miwa away?” Saundra asked. “What became of her?”
Karai then said, “Actually, you're looking at Miwa right now.”
The family gasped in surprise.
“You're the child Shredder stole?” Unna asked.
“Yes. After Shredder stole me, he renamed me Karai,” Karai explained. “He trained me in the ways of the Foot while telling me that he was my birth father and Yoshi was the one who killed my mother.”
“Oh my,” Chaara said in shock at what Karai went through.
“But…what happened to Hamato Yoshi?” asked Yod in concern.
“After the Hamato Clan fell,” began Leo, “Hamato Yoshi, or Master Splinter, came to New York to start a new life.”
Leo explained that not long after arriving in New York, he bought four baby turtles from a pet store. But then he encountered a handful of strange new men, who in turn caused him to come into contact with Mutagen and the last thing he touched…a rat.
In turn, the mutagen mutated Splinter into a giant rat while mutating the turtles into more human-like creatures.
Leo explained how Hamato Yoshi bought four baby turtles from a pet store, and then he encountered a strange man on the street, which led to him mutating into a giant rat and the turtles mutating into more human-like creatures.
“And so, Master Splinter kept us hidden down in the sewers and trained us for fifteen years,” Leo told them.
The Royal Family were surprised by that story.
“Whoa, now that's a fascinating story,” Saundra said with interest.
“But living in the sewer? Not very hygienic,” Chaara said, feeling disgusted.
“Eh, it's not so bad,” Mikey encouraged.
They then continued to tell them about their adventures, including facing the Kraang, mutants, and Triceratons.
“Wow, you faced a lot of enemies,” Vera said.
“Reinkani had enemies in its past, but nothing like what you dealt with,” Deepack said.
“Yep. Eventually, we got involved and taught the ways of the Hamato Clan,” April said on behalf of herself and the allies.
“And us,” Sunset told the family on behalf of herself and her friends.
“It’s a great honour to be part of the clan,” Yod told them.
“It is,” Leo agreed.
“But what of you, child?” Unna asked, looking at Karai. “Did you eventually find out the truth?”
“I did,” said Karai, “After meeting the turtles and learning the truth.”
“While Shredder thought Master Splinter died, he eventually learned that Yoshi survived and was in New York,” Leo explained. “
Leo explained how Shredder first sent Bradford and Xever after them and how the Turtles only barley managed to escape their first encounter. And how he recruited more henchmutants and how each encounter with him was more dangerous than the last.
Karai took over and told them how she first met Leo and became an enemy of the Turtles. But then she learned the truth and Shredder locked her away.
“He put you in a cell?” Saundra said in disbelief.
“He did,” Karai conformed.
She told them of how they broke her out of prison, only for Shredder to be captured again. During a fight, Karai fell into a Vad of Mutagen, turning her into a snake hybrid. She demonstrated to them, which shocked the family. After turning back to normal, Karai mentioned how the snake form made her lose her mind. Then the Shredder captured her and placed a mind-controlled worm inside of her, and he switched from Foot Clan ninjas to Footbots, throwing away the ninja traditions.
“And that was until the Rainbooms were involved.” Said Karai.
“So, how are you girls involved?” Vera asked.
“And what was with those powers you had?” Yod asked, remembering Rainbow's speed.
“It's magic from our geodes,” Sunset explained.
“Of course,” Unna confirmed with nostalgia. “It's Equestrian Magic.”
The Ninjas gasped at what the Queen said, which was that she knew Equestrian Magic.
“You know about Equestrian magic?” Sunset asked.
“Yes, my dear. I know about the magic and its place of origin, Equestria,” Unna revealed, whilst hiding a smirk behind her teacup before she took a sip.
“You know about Equestria?” Twilight asked.
“Of course. I will tell you, but first, I want you to continue with what you know about Equestria,” Unna asked.
Sunset hesitated, but she told them, “Because I'm originally from Equestria. But then I came to Canterlot City, and the magic followed me.” Sunset didn't tell them about her dark days, as she didn't want a royal family thinking wrong about her.
Then they told them of how the Dazzlings came along and nearly took over the school, but Twilight’s counterpart, who happens to be a Princess, much to the family’s surprise, came and helped them, but Sunset was able to help rally them when she helped them realize what they did wrong.
Then Princess Twilight had a vision of the Dazzlings working with the Foot Clan, so she came over to help them. They went to New York, met April and Casey, and through them, they met the Turtles and Master Splinter. They taught the girls the way of the Hamato Clan and fought the Shredder to a standstill.
After they won, they all went back home. Shortly after that, that’s when they met Twilight during the Friendship Games, as well as some of their magic that got out of control.
“That doesn’t sound good,” Deepack pointed out.
“Yeah, my tracker and the magic caused many things to happen,” Twilight said.
“Which included me,” Spike spoke up.
The family were shocked and taken aback by Spike’s ability to speak.
“Your dog can talk?” Vera asked in surprise.
Spike looked annoyed and said, “Yes, and you’re speaking with giant turtles and heard of Equestrian Magic and the weirdest thing you find weird is a talking dog.”
Spike realised who he was talking to, which caused him to bow in respect. “Er, I meant to disrespect your majesties.”
Saundra then approached the talking pup with a stern look.
“For what you just said...” Saundra said before she smiled and grabbed Spike's paws, “...I’m gonna squish your cute little paws.”
“Squish my...” The princess grabbed Spike and snuggled, which the pup tried to get away from, “No, stop.” But Spike secretly loved it whilst wagging his tail.
Nearly everyone couldn't help but adore the scenery. The Royals chuckled at the youngest, knowing her love for animals.
“All right, dearie, I think the puppy has had enough,” Unna told Saundra.
Saundra put the puppy down and sat beside her family while Spike sat on Twilight’s lap.
Twilight then continued to tell them about the Friendship Games, about how Twilight got consumed by the magic and transformed into Midnight Sparkle, but about how Sunset talked her down, causing her to turn back.
“Oh my goodness,” Chaara said, her hand over her mouth.
“I knew Equestrian Magic was powerful, but I didn’t realise it was that powerful,” Unna said. “I’m sorry that happened to you.”
“Thanks, but I’ve moved past it now,” Twilight said. She then looked at Leo “Thanks to my friends.”
Twilight and Leo looked at each other deeply. Unna saw and had a grin on face as she could something between them.
But Yod ruined the moment, “Back at the Hospital, you said you were the leader of the Clan. Does that mean...?”
The Ninjas looked at each other with a hint of sadness. That was enough for the Royal Family to realise.
“What happened?” Vera asked.
“Shredder happened,” April said.
“He began using the Mutagen on himself,” Donnie explained.
“Turning himself into Super Shredder,” Mikey said in fear.
“Master Splinter fought against him,” Raph said, remembering the events.
“But Shredder killed him,” Leo said in dismay.
The Royal Family had solem looks.
“I'm so sorry about your father,” Vera said in tears.
“Thanks. But that wasn't the end of it,” Leo continued.
Leo told them that they knew Shredder wouldn't stop going after them, or their families. So they decided to infiltrate Shredder's mansion and end him, once and for all.
“So I delivered the final blow, and like that, Shredder, was finished,” Leo said with seriousness.
The family were stunned.
Unna spoke up, “He was a monster, you did what you had to do.”
“Yes. For my friends, for my family. For the Clan,” Leo declared with determination.
Yod stood up and walked over to a chest in the corner. “Leonardo, I wish to see if you are worthy to hold the title of leader of the Hamato Clan.” He then got out his sword and spun it around.
Leo got the message, “I accept your challenge.”
Outside in the courtyard. Leo and Yod stood face-to-face with each other. The other ninjas and the Royal Family watched in anticipation.
Both Turtle and Prince bowed to each other as they drew out their swords.
“Let’s see if you are worthy of Sensei to the Clan,” Yod declared.
“I'll show you why Master Splinter chose me,” Leo said as he drew a single sword.
Both stood there in anticipation and then Yod charged at him. Yod attacked while Leo blocked his strikes. Then Leo tried a swing, but Yod jumped over to evade it before trying another swing, which Leo blocked.
At the sides, the others watched in anticipation.
“They looked evenly matched,” Karai pointed out.
“Leo's got this,” Raph said, having faith in his brother. “Come on, Leo!”
“Show that Prince who rules at the sword!” Casey cheered. The Family looked at him, which made Casey nervous, “Uh, no offence.”
Queen Unna rolled her eyes in amusement while the other family brushed it off.
“Come on, Yod!” Vera said, rooting for her cousin despite not keeping it regal.
Rainbow felt conflicted. On the one hand, she wanted to root for her friend and leader, but on the other, she wanted to root for the boy she had a crush on.
Leo and Yod continued fighting until they broke apart.
“You were taught well,” Leo declared.
“As were you, but I'm not making this easy!” Yod's sword then became double-bladed as he charged.
Leo got out his other sword and charged at him. The two kept clashing as Yod kept twirling his sword, which Leo kept blocking. The two then broke apart.
The two stared at each other intensely. But then Yod sheathed his sword with a smile, saying, “You are truly worthy to lead the clan.” Yod then bowed in respect.
Leo bowed in return. Everyone cheered at the great duel they had just seen. The Royal family clapped while the ninjas cheered.
“Nice one, Leo,” Twilight complimented, which made Leo blush.
Rainbow approached Yod, “You did great out there, Yod.”
“Thanks, Rainbow,” Yod replied as he also blushed.
Leo approached Yod, “Yod, you were trained well. But I must ask, where did you learn to fight like that?”
Yod faced the ninjas and motioned to them.
“Hamato Clan, I wish for you to come with me to meet someone significant.”
Applejack came forward, “Who?”
“The one who taught me,” Yod said. He then turned to his family and did then salute.
Unna bowed her head in return, giving him permission.
So, they all followed the Prince to meet someone special.
As they left, Vera turned to Yalimi with a smirk, “Did he freeze?”
General Yalimi couldn't help but smirk as well, “Like an antelope in headlights.”
The family chuckled a bit.
Author's Note
Shoutout to Postwarmonkey50 for helping me out with the writing.
The part about nearly seventeen years passing since Tang Shen's death, we don't know how much time has truly passed, so we're just guessing.
Also, the part about Ho-Chan, it's something that will be revealed in Jebens1's story,
Equestria Ninja Scoob: The Return of Ho Chan
Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
Yod led the ninjas to a mountainside. Towards the side of a mountain as he stood there facing it.
“So, which way are we going?” Casey asked.
Raph looked up, “Are we gonna climb this mountain?”
“No. We're going through it.”
Yod tapped twice on the mountain. Just then, the mountain wall began to open, revealing a hidden passageway.
“Whoa, a hidden passageway?” Scootaloo asked with excitement.
“It was created many years ago as a secret lair and training ground,” Yod explained.
“Secret Lair?” Leo asked.
“Follow me,” Yod instructed as he led the others.
Yod led the gang down a tunnel that was lit by flame torches.
“So, where are we going again?” Mikey asked.
“To meet with someone who wishes to meet with you,” Yod simply said.
“And who exactly is this person that is so interested in us?” Twilight asked
“And the fact you told him about our existence!” Raph exclaimed, angry that someone couldn't be trusted with their secret.
“I can't really lie to him, especially about the Hamato Clan,” Yod explained, “You'll find out when you meet him.”
The gang continued to walk until they reached giant double doors at the end. Yod opened the doors. Casey tried to enter, but Yod stopped him.
“Remember what I said about before entering people's homes and sacred places,” Yod said as he removed his boots.
“Oh, of course, darling,” Rarity replied.
The gang and Yod removed their shoes, which was still very important, before entering. They were walking through what looked like a dojo.
“What is this place?” Fluttershy asked
“This is where I trained to be the warrior I am now,” Yod said, feeling grateful for the place.
They then approached an elderly man. He was brown-skinned, with one hazel eye and the other blind. He had brown dreadlocks and wore black robes that reached his ankles. However, the gang saw that he had only one foot, as the other was prosthetic.
“Everyone, meet my sensei... Abhib Tal,” Yod introduced his mentor.
Leo stepped forward, “Greetings, Abhib Tal.” Leo bows, with the others following suit.
Abhib slowly approaches Leo.
“So I finally meet the new Master of the Hamato Clan,” Abhib said with a severe face, but then he smiled. “Yoshi's son.”
Abhib then began to laugh as he hugged Leo. The others were a bit freaked out but this development.
“Okay, who are you, and how do you know about Master Splinter?” Raph asked the man.
“Yes, you deserve an explanation,” Abhib said.
Abhib pulled up his right sleeve, revealing a tattoo of the Hamato Clan symbol. The gang was shocked to see it.
“I don't believe it,” Karai said in shock.
“You're a member of the Hamato Clan,” Sunset realised.
“Yes, from so many years ago,” Abhib explained.
“Would it be alright if you explained it to us?” Donnie asked.
Everyone sat down together to hear Abhib's story. Abhib took a deep breath and began to tell them, “To start, many years ago, when I was a child, I lived on the streets of Reinkani. I always stole food and gold from other people. Until one day, when I was nine years old, I stole from the wrong person. I was chased until I hid on a ship that docked on Reinkani. After which, the ship left, making its way to Japan with me in it. I hid on the ship until it docked, where I was discovered by Hamato Yuuta.”
“Our grandfather?” Leo asked.
Abhib continued, “Yes. Yuuta saw potential in me. He brought me to his Dojo, where he trained me, and I excelled. I found my home with the Clan. Then, when I was twelve, Yuuta's wife, Hamato Akari, gave birth to their son, Yoshi”
The gang gasped when they heard about their master's birth.
Donnie then realised something, “If you knew about Yoshi, did you know about... Oroku Saki?”
Abhib had a grim look on his face as he continued his story.
“I was there during the final battle between the Hamato and Foot Clans, leading to our victory. When Yuuta adopted Oroku Saki, I was hesitant, but I supported his decision. I watched the boys grow and even helped them train. While Saki was just a young student, Yoshi was like a little brother to me.”
The group were happy to hear about their fallen Sensei.
“So, would that, technically, make you our uncle?” Mikey asked.
Abhib couldn't help but chuckle, “I guess so, in a way.”
“Did you also know Hamato Mitsu?” Gabby asked.
Abhib's face was sullen. “Mitsu. She was always distant from me. I tried to be nice, and while she was civil, she never truly acknowledged me. She was more focused on her studies.”
“Were you there when Mitsu was banished?” Shini asked.
Abhib shook his head, “I heard about her banishment. I was disappointed. She had so much passion for the Clan, but it looked like it went to her head.”
The Ninjas all looked at each other awkwardly, not knowing how to tell Abhib about Mitsu.
Karai decided to change the subject. “Did you ever meet his wife, Tang Shen?” Karai asked about her mother.
“I remember her, a beautiful young girl. I remember how much Yoshi really loved her,” Abhib said, feeling nostalgic. “You may not know this, but Yoshi was a hopeless romantic with her. And whenever he tried to impress her, he would end up embarrassing himself.”
The Ninjas laughed, hearing a different side of Splinter.
“Master Splinter never told us that,” Donnie pointed out.
“Doubt he was ever proud of how he would embarrass himself,” Yod pointed out.
“Kind of like how you were once with April,” Mikey pointed out, causing the smart turtle to glare at him.
The ninjas all laughed at Donnie; even April laughed. Once they calmed down, Abhib continued.
“After I left and returned to Reinkani, I heard Yoshi won Shen's heart. I was very happy for them.”
“So, how come you left?” Fluttershy asked.
“Yeah, how could you leave the clan?” Rainbow asked.
Yod started off, “As my family told you earlier, the Hamato Clan helped Reinkani in a dire need when invaders attacked our country.”
“Those invaders were an enemy of the Clan. Yuuta declared we needed to stop them, but I was hesitant. I knew I had to face my past. So I accompanied Yuuta as he and the clan arrived to save Reinkani.”
The Ninjas were awed by Abhib's bravery.
“We defeated the invaders, and the Hamato Clan gained recognition. I even saved Queen Unna's life. She was so grateful she offered me a to be a warrior for Reinkani. I was hesitant, but then I remembered when I needed a guardian here but didn't get one. I knew I had to be that Guardian. So after returning to Japan and getting some things in order, which included saying goodbye to Yuuta and Yoshi, I returned home and became Reinkani's first Guardian.”
Yod continued, “Master Abhib was a great protector to Reinkani. He protected the towns from mercenaries and protected the Royal Family from those who disagreed. He became a symbol of protection.”
Abhib chuckled, “I didn't do it alone. I also trained four others to help me. We became the Guardians. But I still kept in touch of Yoshi. He sent me many letters about how the Clan went on. Eventually about him marrying Tang Shen, then about the birth of his daughter, Miwa.”
Karai was surprised when she heard that.
Then Abhib's face turned down, “Then the letters just stopped one day.”
The gang instantly knew what that meant.
“After a year of nothing, I went over there to see them. My team came with me. When we arrived, I learned the truth. Filled with rage, I confronted Oroku Saki, or as he went by then... The Shredder. We fought, and we were losing. I managed to escape,” Abhib subconsciously rubbed the side of his face where his blind eye is and his prosthetic leg, “... almost unscathed.”
Everyone was shocked to hear what happened.
“A... And the other Guardians?” Applebloom asked in fear.
Abhib sighed, “The other Guardians, my teammates, my friends... they weren't so lucky.”
The others were horrified at the fate of the other Guardians.
“After that, I just returned home. I mourned the loss of my teammates. I renounced my position as Guardian and have remained here. Too scared, too ashamed to return.”
After hearing Abhib Tal's tale, the gang felt sorry for the man.
“I'm so sorry for what happened to you,” Leo gave his regards.
“We know what it's like to lose loved ones to the Shredder,” Karai said as the others thought about their late master.
“I thought Yoshi was killed by him as well, but now I hear he survived and gained pupils. Turtles at that,” Abhib admitted with a smile. “How is he?”
The others had awkward faces, which turned into sad looks.
Sunset spoke up, “The thing is….”
That was enough for Abhib to realise the truth. Abhib put his head down in shame.
“So he really is gone now,” Abhib said with his head down. “Now it feels like I lost him all over again.”
The others felt sorry for destroying Abhib's hope. Karai decided...
“Did you ever find out what happened to Miwa?” Karai asked.
“She died at the hands of Shredder as well,” Abhib admitted.
Karai took a deep breath, “Actually, she didn't because I'm Hamato Miwa.
Abhib gasped at this information. “You live?
“Yes.” Karai shared her story of being taken by the Shredder as a baby and how she grew up believing that Splinter had killed her mother. Eventually, she uncovered the truth, which fueled her desire for revenge against Shredder, leading to a series of events. She then transformed into her snake form, surprising everyone, especially the master. Then she partially shifted back, explaining, “This resulted in my mutation and subsequent brainwashing by Shredder.”
Karai finished explaining how she escaped Shredder's control and vowed revenge against him. They explained how Shredder killed Splinter and Leo took out Shredder once and for all.
"You were right to take down Shredder, better than I was," Abhib told them. “After being defeated by Shredder, I remained here in isolation, away from the people. I even ceased my duties as Guardian of Reinkani."
“So you just gave up?” Gabby asked.
“Yes. I couldn't bare to see anyone else's faces again, especially the loved ones of my fallen teammates. So I gave away almost everything I had to them.”
“Everything? Keno asked.
“I compensated the families of my Guardian teammates. Most were understanding, but it didn't make the pain easier. Others weren't so understanding," Abhib explained.
“Loss can do that to some people,” Leo said, understanding the pain.
“I just isolated myself from the world. I refused to let anyone else in... that was until...”
Yod took over, “Me. When I was ten years old, this kid bullied me a lot. My status as the Queen's grandson didn't matter to him. So, one day, I was being chased when I found and hid in the hidden cave. I thought I lost him, but he saw me quickly. He had me cornered until Master Abhib came and defended me.”
Abhib continued, “I showed the bully my skills and scared him off. And then I also expected young Yod to leave, even told him to. But he kept asking me these questions, much to my annoyance.”
Yod took over, “When I was younger, I wasn't as popular with the other kids. Vera and a few others were the only ones I was close with, along with Aaserack when I found him as a baby bird. I was the cousin to the next ruler, so I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. But when I saw Abhib, I wanted to learn to fight like him, mainly to show I'm not some weakling.”
“I refused at first,” Abhib continued, “But he kept insisting. He was persistent; I'll give him that. Finally, I gave in. I trained him the same way Yuuta trained me, but when we began, he had... troubles. But over time, he improved until he became the warrior he is now, and still couldn't be prouder.”
“From what we've seen, you were trained well,” Raph told Yod, impressed with Yod's skills.
“Thanks,” Yod replied. “During my training, I handled a lot of stuff alone, but after Seattle, I realised that I couldn't do things alone. In other words, I needed a team.”
“We're glad to fight with you, but we're only here temporarily,” Sunset refused.
Yod chuckled, “I wasn't talking about you guys.”
Just then, April used her powers to stop something behind her: arrows with sacks tied to the front.
Then, Lakshy popped out, in wielding a longbow and arrows on his back. The boy then fired another arrow at the ground, which released smoke into the room, blinding the ninjas.
“I can’t see a thing,” Rainbow said as the ninjas got into fighting position.
They were then attacked, but they fought back against their attackers once they recovered. Once the smoke cleared, they met three other individuals around their age.
One was a black-skinned girl with short black hair, wearing a red dress with black leggings and gold bracelets and holding a metal spear.
Another was a young, muscular man with brown skin and brown hair in a ponytail. He wore a yellow sleeveless top, blue pants, fingerless gloves, and a rainbow armband and held a pair of twin maces.
The last one was a teenage boy with brown skin and brown hair, wearing a purple shirt, a black jacket, black pants, glasses, and mechanical gauntlets on his hands.
The three teens and the one with the longbow gathered together and bowed to them.
Yod stood before them, “Everyone, meet my team.”
The four people stood together as Yod introduced them. “After watching footage of you guys on the Ice Fortress, I decided I needed a team of my own, so I recruited them.” Yod put his hand on the shoulder of the one with the longbow, “This is Lakshy, the team's marksman.”
“I have a gift for hitting nearly impossible targets,” Lakshy boasted as looked into a mirror and pointed his bowbehind him and drew back an arrow. He then fired it at a moving target, which the arrow hit dead centre.
Yod then moved on to the girl. “This is Intari, our tracker, huntress and survivalist.”
“Greetings, giant turtles. I never thought I would say that before,” Intari said to the turtles.
“Gee, thanks,” Raph said, feeling annoyed.
Intari then approached Rainbow, “So, you're the famous Rainbow Dash.”
“Yep, that's me,” Rainbow boasted, feeling her ego boost.
“Don't see what all the fuss is about,” Intari said, bursting Rainbow's bubble.
“Hey,” Rainbow retorted, feeling insulted.
To avoid any further conflict between his teammate and the one he loves, Yod moved on to the big, muscled one. “This is Peshaan, the big muscle.”
“Greetings, new friends,” Peshaan said, bowing to them.
“Whoa, the guy's pretty zen,” Mikey whispered to them.
Yod moved on to the last one. “And finally, this is Soch, our resident genius.”
Donnie was interested in Soch's gauntlets, “Did you make those blasters yourself?”
“Yep, they blast light through these concentrated crystals inside the gauntlets, allowing them to create energy blasts,” Soch explained to the turtle.
“Fascinating,” Twilight remarked. “And the snake design?”
“Because snakes are cool,” Soch admitted.
Karai couldn’t help but take it as a compliment. “You like snakes, huh?” Karai transformed into her snake form, much to their new friend’s surprise. “Then I think we’ll get along just fine.” Karai transformed back while chuckling at the looks on their faces.
“This is an impressive set-up you have here,” Leo complimented as the others recovered.
“Thanks,” Yod replied.
“Yod saw potential in them. I was hesitant at first, but they've proven themselves worthy.” Abhib said, which the Guardians then bowed in appreciation.
As the ninjas conversed, they heard some soft noises, suggesting someone was attempting to sneak up on them but was unsuccessful.
Karai shook her head, “Three, two, one...”
A figure tried to sneak attack them, but Karai grabbed them and threw them to the ground. It was Princess Vera, wearing a training uniform.
“You could hear me, huh?” The princess said, clearly embarrassed.
“Only a few grunts,” Karai said cheekily.
“Which is an improvement,” Yod tried to encourage.
“Why is the crown princess trying to sneak up behind us?” Casey asked.
“Just practising on my stealth,” Vera said.
“Not well enough, apparently,” Intari muttered.
“After the Ice Fortress incident, she asked me to train her,” Yod explained.
Vera looked down in shame, “At the time, my family and I were almost destroyed, and we nearly lost the kingdom. I'm meant to be the next queen soon, but how can I protect my country if I can't protect myself?”
“That's very wise of you, Princess,” Leo told Vera.
Karai stepped forward, saying, “Well, if you need training, I'm happy to give you a hand, princess.” Karai gave a smirk that said, ‘You're not going to survive this.’ That made the princess nervous.
Just then, Soch's gauntlet began to beep. Soch pressed a button, and it revealed a holographic screen.
“Is that a holographic screen?” Donnie asked.
“Yep, I managed to figure out holographic technology,” Soch explained while he pressed a few more buttons on his gauntlet. Soch then got worried, “Yod, there’s another robbery in progress in the town square, not far from here. It's the same people from before.”
“Oh no,” Vera said, worried for her people.
“We'll handle it,” Yod said in determination.
“Need some backup?” Raph said with a smirk while cracking his knuckles.
Yod smiled in appreciation, “That would be wonderful, my friend.”
Applejack turned to the CMC, Sweetheart and Melody, “You kids stay here. We got this.”
“Aw, Apple rot,” Applebloom said in disappointment.
“I'll take them back to the castle,” Vera offered.
“Thank you, your Highness,” Rarity thanked the princess.
The Ninjas and Yod's team began to leave the cave.
“Let's show these bad guys what we're all made of,” Lakshy said enthusiastically.
Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
The heroes left the lair, putting their shoes on before heading to the robbery scene. The ninjas activated their holo-disguises and proceeded to the square, where they spotted several masked figures looting stalls, stealing valuables, demolishing market stands, and instilling fear among the citizens.
“Who are these people?” April asked in worry.
“We don't know, but this is their fourth rampage this month,” Yod explained.
“And we haven't been able to capture any of them,” Peshaan admitted.
“Well, let's show them some new adversities,” Rainbow said with eagerness.
The Ninjas and Guardians approached them.
“I don't think those are yours!” Lakshy said, gaining their attention.
The masked figures turned to see everyone, “It's Prince Yod and his friends.”
“Along with a few other kids,” another one said.
“Well, these kids are about to do a number on your face!” Raph said
“You give the word, Yod,” Leo offered Yod.
Yod got out his sword, ready to fight, “Last chance, surrender, or fight!”
“How about we fight, Princy?” the masked man said as they all pointed blasters at the heroes.
Yod looked ready as he raised his sword, “REINKANI FOREVER!”
The Guardians charged at the figures with their weapons.
“Ninjas, take ‘em down!”
The Ninjas charged at the rebels as well with their weapons in hand.
Yod took on one of the figures with his sword. The figure blasted with his laser as Yod dodged and sliced the blaster with his sword.
“Too slow,” Yod said.
But before the figure could do anything, Leo drop-kicked him.
“And too slow again,” Leo said.
“Not bad,” Yod complimented.
“You too,” Leo replied as the two fist-bumped.
Lakshy was shooting arrows at the figures.
“I don't think you paid for that,” Lakshy said as he shot an arrow at one figure who was stealing from a stand.
The figure dodged one but was struck by one arrow, which electrocuted him.
Mikey then swooped in, “Booyakasha!” He used his nunchucks to knock him down.
“Booyakasha? That sounds cool; what does it mean?” Lakshy asked.
“Nothing, it’s just fun to yell,” Mikey said as they continued fighting the figures.
Lakshy then noticed a figure approaching, so he grabbed one of his arrows. Instead of shooting it, he ran the figure, and they started blasting. Lakshy avoided them as he got close and leg-sweeped them. “Booyakasha!” Laskhy then jabbed the arrow into the figure's chest as it electrocuted him, causing him to pass out. “You're right, it was fun to yell.”
“Told ya,” Mikey said as the two fist-bumped.
Intari was running towards a fleeing figure. So she jumped on a crate and managed to pass the figure and block him with her spear. “Nowhere to run that I can't run faster!”
But then Rainbow used her super-speed to grab the figure and sped away with him. Intari got annoyed.
Rarity was fighting one when she noticed the jewels in their bag, causing her to gasp, “You dare steal such fine jewellery?!” Rarity then kneed the figure in the gut and used her sickle to slice the bag out of their hand but caught the bag without any of the contents scattering.
“Good catch,” Intari complimented as she joined in.
“Thank you, darling,” Rarity replied.
Peshaan dodged the blasts, “Now, let's talk about this. Maybe we can agree.” The figure wasn’t having it. They blasted more, but Peshaan dodged and grabbed the blaster, crushing it with his bare hand, “Don't say I didn't give you a chance.” Peshaan then punched the figure, sending him flying.
Applejack then noticed some figures aiming at her, so she lifted up a boulder and used it to block the blasts. Then Raph delivered a punch to the figure.
“Wow, you're crazy strong,” Peshaan said impressed.
“Thanks,” Applejack replied.
Soch was blasting the figures with his gauntlets. He blasted them off their feet.
“Are those sonic blasts?” Donnie asked while whacking one of the figures with his staff.
“Yeah. Really ringing their bells,” Soch said as he blasted them.
They kept taking on the figures until they managed to capture all of them.
“Who, what are you?” one of the figures asked.
“Let's just say we're here to help out the Guardians,” Leo told them.
“General Yalimi's on her way with re-enforcements,” Yod told them. “They'll be here to take them to the dungeon.”
One of the masked figures chuckled.
“What's so funny?” Mikey asked
“I don't see anything funny around here,” Pinkie said, popping up from inside a nearby barrel.
The figure spoke, “Because you're not holding us for long.”
“In case you haven't noticed,” Yod told them. “We've captured you, and reinforcements is on the way. You're done.”
“Oh, it's far from done.” Suddenly, the figures began to glow and before they knew it, they were gone.
“What?” Leo asked.
“Where they go?” Yod wondered.
Pinkie began waving her arm over the spot where the figures were sitting. “They're not invisible. Unless they already left.”
“I highly doubt that's the case, Pinkie,” Intari pointed out.
April had her hand on her head, “I don't sense them anywhere.”
“How did they do that?” Karai wondered.
Just then, General Yalimi and some guards approached.
“General,” Yod acknowledged the General.
“My prince,” Yalimi returned the acknowledgement. She then turned her attention to Intari, “Intari.”
Intari replied, “Mother.”
This surprised the Hamato Clan. “Mother?”
“Yes. Intari is General Yalimi's daughter,” Lakshy briefly explained.
Yalimi went straight to the point, “What happened here?”
“General, those figures appeared again,” Yod explained. “We managed to capture all of them, but then they disappeared.”
The General was shocked, “Disappeared? How?”
“They were all glowing and then just disappeared,” Pinkie said.
Yalimi's face deadpanned as she didn't seem convinced.
Intari could tell what her mother was thinking, “Mom, I know that seems impossible, but I saw it as well. We all saw it.”
Yalimi looked at her daughter. She can tell when her daughter is lying, and in this case, she wasn't.
Soch then stepped forward while activating his holo-computer, “I even got footage of it.”
“Wait, you recorded it?” Twilight asked.
“Well, yes. I keep a recording camera on my person when on a mission,” Soch explained. “I thought we'd learn from the footage. But don't worry, they’ll remain private.”
“That is smart,” Donnie admitted.
Soch activated the holo-screen, which showed the figures disappearing right there.
Yalimi was shocked by what she saw. Yalimi turned to Yod. “You'll need to report this to your grandmother. All of you.”
With that, the heroes made their way towards the castle.
The heroes made their way to the Castle. As the CMC, Sweetheart, and Melody approached them, they walked through the halls.
“You guys okay?” Applebloom asked.
“We're fine, sis,” Applejack reassured her sister.
“Those people were no match for us,” Lakshy boasted as everyone rolled their eyes.
“Baby girl!”
Intari rolled her eyes as Captain Kai approached. “Hi, Daddy.”
“You alright? Oh, what am I saying? Of course, you are,” Kai said as he approached his daughter. “You are my strong girl who took down those criminals.”
“Of course she is,” Lakshy said, agreeing with the Captain.
But Kai glared at him, “No one asked you, kid.”
Lakshy glared at him as the other Guardians shook their heads in disappointment.
Yod cleared his throat, “Alright, Captain, now that you know Intari's alright, we need to speak with the Queen.”
“Very well then,” Kai agreed as they made their way to the throne room.
As they walked, Mikey whispered to Lakshy, “What's the deal between you and Intari's dad?”
“He's just not a fan of me because of my parents,” Lakshy admitted. “Just thankfully that's all he hates me for.”
“What do you mean?” Pinkie asked.
Lakshy didn't answer. Yalimi discreetly looked at Lakshy and her daughter with a smirk.
The heroes made their way to the throne room, where the Royal Family waited for them. Yod had finished explaining to his family what had happened as Soch showed them the footage of the figures disappearing.
Queen Unna was shocked, “This is impossible.”
“With all due respect, your majesty,” Leo explained. “We've seen our fair share of teleportation.”
“I see,” Deepack said.
“That would explain how they keep giving you the slip,” Vera pointed out.
“They may have gotten away,” Peshaan pointed out, “But they didn't get away with any of the stolen goods from the market.”
“Yes, that is true,” Unna admitted. “Well done on stopping them.” She then turned to the Hamato Clan. “And thank you for helping them.”
“You're welcome, your majesty,” Leo replied.
“Just doing what we do,” Mikey said.
“But what I want to know is who those guys were,” Karai asked.
“We have no idea,” Yod admitted. “They've been causing trouble for a week now. The Guardians and I have been trying to capture them, but they kept disappearing.”
“Guess we now know how,” Lakshy said.
“And I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of them,” Soch said.
Yod faced Leo, saying, "Leonardo, I understand you and your friends are likely here on vacation. However, given the possible threat from these figures and our lack of experience, we could really use your assistance with this situation."
Leo looked at the others, who smiled and smirked, which indicated they were in. Leo turned to Yod and said, “Our predecessors helped Reinkani before, and we will help you now.” The two shook hands.
In a dark room, the figures were catching their breaths.
“That went well,” one of them said with sarcasm.
“Oh, far from it…”
They looked to see a man with brown skin and greyish-brown hair with a beard. He wore a black jacket with a grey waistcoat, white dress shirt, black slacks and shoes. He also had a cane. It was Dushta Bisp, the disgraced Count and former member of the Royal Family, who was banished after trying to murder his family to take the throne.
“Don't tell me the Prince and his friends stopped you,” Bisp said.
“It wasn't just them, sir. They had help,” one of them explained.
“Help from who?” Bisp asked.
“Some other kids, sir,” they said.
“Other kids?” Bisp asked, feeling his blood pressure rising.
“Yes, sir. They were clearly outsiders. They fought like the Prince, but were more skilled. They worked as a team, and some had powers.”
That sparked Dushta's interest, “What kind of powers?”
“Well, one was very strong. Another could levitate stuff. And another was fast...”
That last one got Dushta's attention, “Did you say one of them was fast? Was it a girl with Rainbow coloured hair?”
“Yes sir, how did you know?”
Dushta thought deeply, “I got some things to think about. Dismissed.”
The figures left, leaving Dushta alone.
“So, that Rainbow-haired girl has returned, along with others. Then I guess we'll have to up our game,” Dushta said as he turned to four figures in the shadows. “Reinkani will be mine.”
Equestria Ninja Girls: Reinkani Forever
Dinner with the Royal Family
At the palace in the dining room, the Ninjas sat at the table with the Royal Family, who invited them to have dinner with them.
“Thank you for inviting us to dinner, your majesties,” Leo thanked the family.
“Nonsense, you're our guests,” Unna stated.
“I hope you enjoy this meal,” Vera said.
Just then, a few chefs came out carrying trays. Leading them was a Hispanic woman with greyish-brown hair who was wearing a chef's uniform.
“Your majesties and guests, your dinner is served.”
“Thank you, Katrina,” Unna thanked the head chef.
Deepack turned to the ninjas. “Meet our Head Chef, Katrina Rodrigues.”
“Greetings, Hamato Clan,” Katrina greeted the ninjas.
“Nice to meet you too,” April greeted.
Katrina talked under her breath, “No estaban bromeando sobre las tortugas gigantes.”
Gabby noticed her language “Tambien me sorprendio cuando los conoci pro primera vez.”
Queen Unna spoke up, “Muy bien, ustedes dos.” Everyone looked at the Queen with surprise, which made Unna chuckle, “Yes, I know Spanish. Now then, Senoira Rodrigues, what is being served this evening?”
Katrina replied, “Well, Your Majesty, for your guests, we have prepared aloo gobi, chicken madra, chana masala, and samosas.”
The staff presented the food to the ninjas and served it to them.
“Gracias, Katrina,” Queen Unna thanked the head chef.
“You're welcome, your majesty. Enjoy your meal.” Katrina and the cooks left them to enjoy their meal.
The Royals enjoyed their meal. The ninjas each ate the new food they’d never had before. They got their reactions from the food.
“Delicious.”
“Delectable.”
“Awesome.”
“So good.”
“Not as good as pizza but still good.”
The ninjas were enjoying their food.
“Glad you're enjoying it,” Deepack said.
“Katrina knows how to make a good dish,” Chaara complimented.
As the continued eating, Leo decided to ask the Royal family. “So, your majesties. Have these figures been around before?”
The royal family looked at each other.
“They've caused trouble in Reinkani for the last few months,” Vera explained.
“At first, they've only stolen money from vendors,” Yod explained. “But they also have been vandalising.”
“We fear they may getting worse,” Chaara admitted.
“What is their deal anyway?” Casey asked.
“We don’t know,” Yod said.
“So we wait till they return and then make them tell us,” Raph declared, cracking his knuckles. Rainbow, Casey shared the same sentiment.
“I must say you guys fought valiantly,” Vera complimented.
Saundra decided to change the subjesct, “So, we know Rainbow has superspeed.”
“But what can you girls do?” Chaara asked.
The girls looked at each other, and then Pinkie spoke, “Well, Rainbow has super speed, which you already know. Twilight can levitate stuff. Applejack has super strength; Rarity can make diamond shields; Fluttershy can talk to animals; Sunset can see people’s memories, and I can make sprinkles explode!” Pinkie then took a few sprinkles in her hand and threw them in the air, causing a tiny explosion.
The Royal family stayed quiet, not knowing what to say,
“Thank you for summing it up, young lady,” Chaara said to Pinkie.
“You're welcome,” Pinkie said with a big smile.
“The magic has been wise with you all,” Unna said, knowing a thing or two about Equestria magic.
Sunset Shimmer remembered their talk from before and decided it was now the time to ask the Queen. “You're majesty. You said you knew about Equestria, right?”
“Of course, and you want to know how I know, don't you,” Unna asked with a knowing smile.
“Uh, yes. We're quite curious, Your Majesty,” Leo admitted.
Unna had a nostalgic smile, “I know about Equestria because I once lived there,”
The ninjas gasped.
“You lived in Equestria?” Sunset asked.
“Are you a pony from Equestria?” Leo questioned.
“Wait, pony?” Yod asked in confusion.
Unna was slightly embarrassed: “Oh, did I never tell you that Equestria's inhabitants were Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns? And that anyone who enters transforms into ponies as well?”
“No, you didn't,” Vera said.
Unna turned to the ninjas and said, “No, I was born here in Reinkani. You see, I wasn't born of Royal blood, but I was born into a family of milk farmers.”
“Farmers?” Applejack asked, intrigued.
“Yes,” Unna confirmed. “But over fifty years ago, when I was a year younger than you children, I was gathering some things from the forest for my family when I discovered a magical portal. I didn't know what it was at first, so I got closer to it and got sucked in.”
“That led you to Equestria?” April asked.
Unna nodded with a slight smile, "Yes, that's true. Unfortunately, it was a one-way trip. As soon as I stepped through, the portal stopped working.”
“So, you were stuck in Equestria?” Leo inquired.
“Yes,” Unna answered.
“Did you turn into a pony?” Mikey piped up, causing the others to look at him with daggers.
Unna chuckled at the turtle's enthusiasm. “Yes, Michelangelo. I became a unicorn when I arrived. At first, it was scary—a young girl transformed into a unicorn, stranded in a strange world. But then I met an important pony who helped me and would become very dear to me to my heart.”
“Who did you meet?” Donnie asked.
Unna answered, “Princess Celestia.”
“PRINCESS CELESTIA!?” The heroes said in shock.
“Yes, Princess Celestia found me and helped,” Unna continued. “While there, I became her student. I learned magic under her guidance.”
Sunset then frowned in thought. Then, she decided to be honest with them. “Remember when I told you I was from Equestria? Well, I was once a student of Princess Celestia as well.”
The Royal Family were surprised.
“You learned under Celestia as well?” Unna asked, intrigued by meeting another fellow student.
“Yes. But unlike you, I didn't take her lessons to heart. I was a different person back then, obsessed with power and recognition. And when I didn't receive it, I turned cruel and dishonest.” Sunset explained how she had been unkind and disregarded Celestia's teachings. She recounted their arguments and how Celestia had eventually dismissed her as a student, leading to Sunset's departure to Canterlot City. “So I arrived in Canterlot City and became a terrible bully.”
“A bully?” Vera inquired with concern.
She then described how she stole Princess Twilight's crown and used it to brainwash the students into invading Equestria, becoming She-Demon in the process. She recounted how Princess Twilight followed her, rallied the other Rainbooms, and ultimately stopped her.
“If it wasn't for Princess Twilight and the others. For stopping me and putting me on the right path, I would still be the monster. It took time, but I worked hard to make up for what I did.” Sunset then looked at the Royal Family. “I'm sorry that I brought this up, but I thought I should...”
Sunset stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see Queen Unna. The queen smiled at the girl.
“It’s alright, dear. You have made decisions; however, it is evident that you have redeemed yourself for those choices. I am confident that Princess Celestia would be proud of how far you’ve come from when you were a student.” Sunset looked at Unna, feeling like Princess Celestia was talking to her.
“Thank you, your majesty,” Sunset thanked the Queen.
Queen Unna smiled as she returned to her seat.
“So, what was it like living in Equestria?” Twilight asked.
“It was wonderful,” Unna said. “Canterlot was an amazing city, as well as the forests and watching Princess Celestia's sunsets. And a lot of the ponies there were friendly. In fact, Princess Celestia wasn't the only pony I grew close to. I became close with an earth pony mare from a small farm town. Her name was Annie Smith.”
“Annie Smith!?” Applejack and Applebloom exclaimed.
“That's funny; it almost sounded like Granny Smith,” Mikey chimed in, prompting Raph to smack Mikey on the head.
“That is Granny Smith,” Raph said to his brother.
“Oh,” Mikey realised.
Unna said, “When you told me about Twilight Sparkle's counterpart and meeting Principal Celestia in Seattle, I theorised that you were related to Annie's counterpart.”
“So, you knew Granny Smith?” Rarity asked.
“Does that mean you once visited Ponyville?” Karai asked.
“Ponyville? Such a nice little town,” Unna reminiscence. “Yes. I accompanied Princess Celestia when she went there to meet with some delegations. It was there that I met Annie Smith. We became good friends, even with me helping out on her family's Apple Farm a bit.”
“Did you try their apple cider?” Karai asked.
Unna chuckled, “Of course. And it was the best.”
“Of course, it is,” Applejack boasted a bit.
“Nothing beats Apple family Apple Cider,” Rainbow said.
The ninjas rolled their eyes.
“Your majesty,” Sunset asked. “How did you get back?”
Unna told them, “After a year in Equestria, Princess Celestia discovered something: a spell that could open the portal back to my home.”
“She could do that?” Shini asked.
“Yes, but it would require a great deal of magic. And, as before, it would be a one-way trip,” Unna explained. “As much as I adored Equestria, I missed my home. So, I bid farewell to Princess Celestia, Annie Smith and her family, and others I had grown close to. Celestia opened the portal, and I stepped through, returning home to Reinkani.”
“To the same spot where you first found the portal?” Mikey asked.
“Yes, Michelangelo. I was a bit woozy from the portal travel when I arrived home. Luckily, like the first time, I was found.”
“By your family?” Applejack asked, feeling Unna's family would've been worried sick.
“No,” Unna answered. “By Prince Balo.”
The rest of the Royal family were surprised. Saundra spoke, “Grandfather?”
“That's how you met father?” Chaara asked, never knowing the story of how her parents met.
“Yes, Chaara, it was,” Unna replied. “Balo helped me reunite with my family. After that, he began to see me secretly, and as they say, the rest is history.”
The ninjas were in awe of that story.
“So that's how you knew about Equestrian magic,” Sunset said.
"Indeed. Even at my age, I never forget” Unna. “In a manner, Princess Celestia is a substantial influence contributing to the monarch I embody today." The ninjas saw the look on Queen Unna's face.
“Do you ever wish to go back to Equestria?” Sunset asked.
Unna looked down, "Many times.”
“Well, Your Majesty, I've created a device that allows us to go back and forth to Equestria,” Donnie explained.
“So, if you want, we could take you back to Equestria anytime,” Leo offered.
Unna was shocked at the thought, as it felt unreal. “Go back to Equestria?”
“It's your choice, your majesty,” Leo advised.
“Thank you,” Queen Unna said, appreciating the offer.
The ninjas and Royal Family finished eating their dinner.
“Thank you for the dinner,” Karai thanked the Royal Family.
“You're welcome,” Chaara replied. “Now I think it’s time to get some rest.”
Unna turned to her grandchildren. “Vera, Yod, and Saundra, would you be willing to escort our guests to the guest chambers?”
“Yes, Grandmother,” the Royal grandchildren said. The escorted the Ninjas bowed to the Royals before leaving.
...
The prince and princesses led the ninjas down the hall.
“I'm very looking forward to staying in a royal palace,” Rarity excitedly said.
“Yeah, talk about fancy,” Mikey said.
“Thanks again for accommodating us,” Twilight thanked the royal grandchildren.
“You're welcome,” Yod replied.
“And I'll admit, I'm excited to have The Rainbooms staying here,” Vera said excitedly.
Saundra rolled her eyes as she turned to the young ninjas, “I’m looking forward to hanging with you.”
“Same here, Your Highness,” Sweetie Belle said to the princess.
“Same here, chicas.”
They looked to see two girls approaching. One was Mariana, and the other was a teenage Hispanic girl with messy brown hair who was wearing a red tank top and green cargo pants.
“The Rainbooms, cool,” the older girl said when she saw the girls.
“Thanks,” Sunset replied.
“And giant tortarugas,” Mariana pointed out.
“Cool,” the older girl said, unfazed.
Saundra began introductions, “Hamato Clan, meet Mariana and Isabelle Rodriguez. Senora Rodriguez's daughters.”
“Hola,” Mariana greeted them.
“S'up. Call me Isa,” Isabella, or Isa, said to them.
“Nice to meet ya,” Rainbow said to them.
Spike scampered up to them. Mariana bent down to pet him, “Hola, Perito.”
“Actually, my name is Spike.” The sisters got wide-eyed. “Yeah, I can talk.”
Mariana shook her head and approached Rainbow, “Your Rainbow Dash, right, the girl who helped save Saundra's life.”
“Well, not to brag, but yeah, I helped out,” Rainbow pretended to be humble, which caused the girls to roll their eyes. “But I didn't do it alone.”
“Of course,” Mariana said, understanding.
“Encantado de conoceros, chicas,” Gabby greeted them.
“Yo igual,” Isa responded as the two shook hands.
Rainbow said, “You two and your mother don't look like you're originally from here. “
“That's because we're not,” Isa confirmed. “We're originally from Bogotá.”
“Ooh, Columbia, nice,” Twilight said.
“Thanks. Before, it was just Mama and us. Our padre left when I was a baby,” Mariana explained.
“He left us for another woman,” Isa said as a matter of fact.
“We're sorry to hear that,” Sunset apologised.
“It's alright. That man made his choice,” Isa replied.
“We lived in a one-bedroom apartment, barely scraping by,” Mariana explained. “Mama worked as a chef working for minimal wage. But that was until...”
Yod continued, “My parents. Mom and Dad went to Columbia for trade meetings. When the embassy advertised for cooks, her boss volunteered Senora Rodriguez to cook for them.”
“Mom's previous boss was una verdadera pieza de trabajo,” Isa said.
Vera took over, “Aunt Chaara and Uncle Deepack enjoyed the food Senora Rodriguez made. They also took some time to get to know her.”
“Mama told them about us, her awful boss, and her not-so-nice apartment,” Isa explained.
“So, after speaking with Grandmother, Mom and Dad offered her a job as one of the castle chefs,” Yod said.
“That was nice of them,” Fluttershy said.
“It was life-changing, and in a good way,” Mariana said.
“So we ended up moving here,” Isa said. “Mama started as a chef, and she risen to head chef.”
“Sounds like things improved for you,” Sunset pointed out.
They continued walking down the hall.
“Heard about the fight in the market,” Isa said. “Cool how you took them down.”
“Well, they were in for a surprise,” Mikey boasted, much to his brother's annoyance.
“You enjoying Reinkani so far?” Vera asked.
“Of course,” Sunset replied.
“Such a lovely place,” Rarity said.
“Well then, perhaps we can take you around Pohzi,” Saundra offered.
“That would be lovely, thank you,” Fluttershy said.
“But, don't you have Royal Duties to do tomorrow?” April asked.
“I have only a few to do, so we have time to do a tour,” Vera explained
Just then, they reached a fork in the hallway.
“Alright, boys, that way with me,” Yod instructed. “Girls, you're that way.”
“Okay,” Sunset said.
Yod approached Rainbow, “So, see you in the morning?”
“Definitely,” Rainbow replied, acting cool.
Everyone had grins on their faces as they watched the two interact. Yod then went down the hall with the boys following him.
“Good night, girls,” Leo said to the girls as he, his brothers, Casey and Keno, went in one direction.
Vera, Saundra, Isa and Maria led the girls in another direction.
Vera noticed another hallway entrance to their left.
“Saundra, Mariana, could you take the CMC, Sweetheart and Melody to their rooms that way?” Vera asked her sister.
“Sure thing,” Saundra replied as she led the younger girls down the hall.
“Good night, sugar cube,” Applejack said to her sister.
“Sweet dreams, Sweetie Belle,” Rarity wished her sister.
“Night, Scoots,” Rainbow said to Scootaloo.
“Goodnight,” The CMC said to their sisters.
Saundra and Mariana led the girls down the hallway.
“I can’t wait to see the sights tomorrow,” Applebloom said.
“I’m looking forward as well,” Sweetheart added.
“You’re gonna love it,” Mariana said.
“We’ll show you the best,” Saundra proposed.
“Thank you, Princess,” Melody said to Saundra.
Saundra blushed, “Uh, you’re welcome.”
As she watched her best friend, Mariana couldn’t help but glare as she clenched her fist.
Suddenly, the girls heard a loud clatter from down the hall, followed by loud screeching and hissing.
"Oh no," Saundra groaned.
"What in tarnation is going on?" Apple Bloom wondered aloud.
"Where's all the noise coming from?" Sweetheart questioned.
"The kitchen," Mariana answered dryly.
"And I know from who," Saundra added. "Come on." And she and the girls raced down the hall and burst into the kitchen to find a large mess.
Pots and pans had fallen over, and bags of flour and fruit were strewn across the floor. Amid the chaos stood Aaserak and the Royal family's cat, Roen. The falcon fluttered around, gripping a fish in its talons, while Roen hung from the other end, clinging to the fish with his claws and dragging it down. Both hissed and shrieked at each other in anger.
Or at least it sounded like that to the girls, but to Saundra, what she heard was...
"Let go of my fish, you thieving feline!" Aaserak ordered the cat.
"I saw it first! You let go!" Roen shot back.
"It was in my sight before you slung in here, so it's mine!" Aaserak argued.
"I called dibs on it, birdbrain!" Roen shot back.
"I'M A FALCON!!!" Aaserak shrieked.
However, at that moment, Aaserak collided with some dangling ladles, causing both him and Roen to tumble and flop onto the floor. They then heard a stern 'ahem' and opened their eyes to find Saundra's tapping foot. They slowly looked up into her frowning face.
"Fighting over fish again?" She asked in a dry tone.
"He started it!" Aaserak and Roen pointed at each other.
“I don't care who started it!” Saundra exclaimed.
From the side, Mariana and the Young Ninjas watched as Saundra scolded the animals.
“Do you remember what happened last time?!” They heard Aserak squawk while pointing at Roen, which made the cat his.
“That's not the point!”
The Young Ninjas were confused. “It looks like the Princess understands them,” Melody pointed out.
“Like when Fluttershy is talking to animals with her magic,” Sweetie Belle added.
“Can the Princess actually talk to them?” Sweetheart asked
Mariana remained quiet, not knowing if to tell them. But lucky for her, Saundra wrapped up her conversation.
“You two are to work together to clean this mess, understood!?”
Both the cat and falcon squawked/meowed in agreement. Saundra then walked to the others.
“Uh, did you just talk to those animals?” Scootaloo asked.
“And did you understand what they were saying?” Sweetheart indicated.
Saundra realised that they had watched the whole thing. Saundra turned to Mariana, but all she could do was shrug.
“And before you say anything, we’ve seen Fluttershy talk to her animal friends before, so we know what it looks like,” Melody said.
Saundra sighed and confessed, “Yes, I can talk to animals.”
The Young Ninjas gasped.
“How are able to do it?” Sweetie Belle asked.
“I'm not sure. It started after my heart surgery. While recovering, I found myself able to talk to animals.”
“Does your family know?” Applebloom asked.
“No. Mariana's the only one who knows right now. My family would freak out,” Saundra explained. “I need you to promise that you won't tell them.”
“Don't worry, we won't tell anyone, not even our sisters.” Sweetie Belle declared.
“We Pinkie Promise,” Applebloom said.
The Young Ninjas said, “Cross our hearts and hope to fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye.”
Saundra and Mariana were confused but accepted it.
“Thank you,” Saundra said, glad they wouldn't tell anyone.
...
Princess Vera and Isa led the Rainbooms, April, Karai, Gabby and Shini, through the halls of the Palace.
“I must say, Your Highness, this palace is divine,” Rarity said in awe.
“Thanks. It’s one of Reinkani’s most important places,” Vera stated.
“Royal Castles always are. And I must say the cleaners do a good job keeping it clean,” Sunset complimented.
“Yeah. Although they do most of the work, my family and I do some cleaning ourselves,” Vera admitted.
The girls looked at her with surprise.
“Yeah, surprised me too,” Isa said.
Vera explained, “Just because I’m Royalty doesn’t mean I can let all the servants do the work. Grandmother gave me and my family household chores, as well, so that we can learn and not take the servants for granted.”
“Your grandmother’s a smart woman,” Karai stated.
“She is. Grandmother is no push-over,” Vera said
While walking, they encountered a boy with brown skin wearing a blue shirt and black pants. Vera immediately recognised him.
“Kumar,” Vera acknowledged the boy.
“Princess Vera,” Kumar replied.
The two stood in awkward silence.
“Oh boy,” Isa whispered to herself.
“So, you’ll be Queen soon,” Kumar pointed out, making conversation.
“Yeah, I guess,” Vera replied, unsure what else to say.
The girls watched them, worried about the Princess. Then they heard hissing and looked down to see a giant Monitor Lizard standing next to them. The girls instantly freaked out.
“AAAAHHHH!!!” Rarity screamed as she saw the lizard. “What is that?”
“Oh, that's Chip, Kumar's pet,” Isa explained as Vera crouched down to pet the lizard.
“Hey, Chip,” Vera said to the lizard.
Fluttershy then petted the lizard. “Nice to meet you, Chip.”
“Sorry about him,” Kumar apologised. He then motioned to the lizard. “Come here, Chip.” The lizard walked over to the boy.
“Don’t worry, girls. Chip’s a nice lizard,” Vera said, knowing the lizard.
“I believe you,” Fluttershy said.
Sunset approached. “Now that we know the lizard, can we get some introductions?”
“Girls, this is Kumar,” Isa began introductions. “His parents are in the council, and Vera's... uh...”
“Ex,” Vera finished.
“Yeah,” Kumar confirmed. “So you're the guests the Royal Family has personally invited.”
“That would be us,” Twilight said as the girls introduced themselves.
“Nice to meet you, girls,” Kumar said. There was an awkward silence. “Well, I must get going. Good luck with, uh, things. Come on, boy, let’s go.
Kumar and his lizard walked down the hall.
“Uh, actually…” Fluttershy tried to say something to them, but they were gone.
The girls watched as the Princess stared in the direction Kumar left.
“Estas bien? You okay?” Isa asked as she placed her arm around the Princess's shoulder.
“I'm fine, really, I'm fine,” Vera said, who was obviously lying.
The girls got closer to the Princess.
“Do you wanna talk about it?” Twilight asked.
“That's right; we're here for you, darling,” Rarity said.
Vera sighed as she began to tell them. “Kumar and I have known each other since we were kids. We were best friends. But something always clicked between us when he was honest.”
“Honest?” Applejack asked, as honesty was her thing.
Vera continued, “When we first started dating, it was amazing. But then, he started acting phoney in public, like he was this cool yet noble person who, in his words, ‘The kind of boy a future queen should date'. Except it was the quiet nerd that I fell in love with. The breakup was a while ago, but it still hurts.
The girls comfort the princess in silence.
“We're sorry to hear that, Princess,” Karai said to Vera.
“Kumar must've been desperate to fit the role,” Rainbow pointed out.
“Except the only role I wanted from him was to be himself,” Vera explained.
“Have you ever tried talking to him about it?” Twilight asked.
“I've tried to talk to him many times, but whenever I tried, things get awkward between us and I find myself unable to say the words,” Vera said.
“I'm sure the two of you can work things out and get closure one day,” Sunset encouraged.
“She's right. And maybe it's time to find someone new,” Isa suggested.
Yeah, maybe,” Vera said, but she didn't sound convinced.
Fluttershy changed the subject a bit. “Um, Kumar does know that Chip’s a girl, right?
Vera was shocked by that answer. “Chip is a what now?”
Isa, Rainbow, Karai, Shini and Gabby couldn't help but laugh.
“Kumar's been raising that lizard from an egg,” Isa said between laughs.
“He actually sat on him, I mean her, till she hatched,” Vera remembered. “And he never figured it out?”
“Should we tell him?” Gabby suggested.
“Not yet,” Gabby said. “Perhaps another time.”
After that, Vera and Isa led the girls to their rooms.
...
Yod led the turtles, Casey and Keno, down the hall.
“Just down here,” Yod said.
“Thank, Yod,” Leo thanked the prince.
“Can't wait to see the town tomorrow,” Mikey said as the others agreed.
“And if those figures appear again, it'll be even better,” Raph said with a smirk.
Yod then turned to Leo, “I just wanted you to know that it is an honour to have the Hamato Clan here.”
“And it's an honour to be here,” Leo replied.
The two then bowed as Yod left the boys. Tomorrow would bring a new day.
