Chapter 2. Getting through the inspection
Now let me get something clear to all of you, while most people who end up in my situation would most likely clop and jack off while stuck in this body, I'm a bigger person then that, And I have the decency to simply play things out like normal..... It also helps that I'm not attracted to woman.....
Still, having a bug vagina now was going to take some getting used to, and I could only hope that my marriage with the captain isn't able to carry out as planned.....
As I entered the kitchen to inspect the reception, I thought on how I was going to attract Twilight.....
Twilight knew something was off with "Cadance" because she was acting uncharacteristically rude and snobby while planning the wedding, which I am not.....
But I knew I had to guide her to where the real Cadance was being held, what was I going to do?.....
"Hiya Princess!" The southern voice of Applejack greeted me.
Snapping out of my thoughts, I turned to the cowmare and tried to act formal.
"Please, call me Princess Mi Amore Cadenza...." I tried to sound sincere and serious through my demeanor, yet Twilight still seemed annoyed, most likely because Cadance was modest about her introductions.....
"Hiya Princess Mi Amore Cadenza! You've come to check out what's on the menu for your big day?"
"I have....."
I tried to keep a straight face as I walked to the fritters as Twilight stared at me clearly upset.....
I lifted the fritter with my magic and took a bite.
Now, I was a VERY, picky eater. I had a strict diet of food and didn't like to try new things.....
But too much was on the line, so I took a big bite, and gulped....
"Mmm, delicious. I love, love, love them!"
"Aww shucks, why don't you take a few to go?"
In hesitation, I took the bag.....
"I know how you brides can be. So busy, you forget to get a little somethin' in your belly."
As I approached the door, I noticed the trash can to my left.....
I wasn't cruel and heartless like Chrysalis, but how was I supposed to lead Twilight to the caves without anypony seeing me and her together?.....
Did I really have what it took to throw away a recently cooked meal?.....
In a moment of desperation, I threw the bag into the trash bin and shut the door behind me.
I couldn't believe I just did that.......
However, I took a few deep breathes, and told myself it would all be worth it if I could just get to a point where I could get Twilight to the real Cadance undisturbed......
Eventually, I made it to an area of the capital that lead me to the dressing room.
Beside me were the bridesmaids that were here to inspect the dresses with me.
Odd, must not have noticed them arrive while traversing Canterlot, but I decided not to confront them on that.
"'Please, call me Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.'" I heard Twilight mock through the door.
I simply decided to walk into the room ignoring her remark.
"Your highness! Let me just start by saying what an honor it is to play a role in such a momentous occasion." Rarity sucked up to me without hesitation.
"Yes of course, how are the dresses?"
"Well, I've been working on them ever since I was given the assignment, and I think you'll be pleased with the results." Rarity beamed with positivity over my approval.....
"I was hoping for something with more beading and a longer train."
"Oh.... Yes, of course."
"And those should be a different color."
"I think they're lovely."
"Me too!"
"I love them!"
I gave the bridesmaids a glaring look of disproval, as they recoiled in shame.
"Make them a different color."
I then left the dressing area with the bridesmaids as I headed to inspect the reception.
I could only hope that I was doing things right. If I screwed up, I don't know how badly it could affect their lives.....
"Ok, we've been over the games,"
I watched Pinkie Pie as she darted across the room as hyper as ever.
"The dances," She activated the music and did the chicken dance.
"Oh! I think this reception is gonna be perfect! Don't you?"
"Perfect!.......... IF we were celebrating a six year old's birthday party."
"GASP, thank you!"
As I left the hall to do more inspecting, I took a quick glance at the pillar to my right.....
If my guess is correct, then I must have ticked Twilight off enough to get her suspicious. I just hope it stays in line with the show's canon......

Chapter 9. The great, big, grand, ultimate, finale battle of destiny and power. (Hey, that's a mouthful should I change that oh never mind.)
I woke back up to find myself back in the Canterlot wedding alter in Chrysalis's body, but what I saw made me gasp in shock.
The changelings had captured Twilight and her friends, as well as Princess Celestia and Cadance.
The mane six were held by the changelings, Celestia was enwrapped in a cocoon, and Cadance was pinned down with changeling goo.
"What sssssssshall we do with thesssssssssse meddlesssssssome poniessssssss your majesssssssssssssty?" The bugs asked me.....
"Leave them to me, and the rest of you continue to feed!"
The changelings heeded my orders, as they flew out the door while I closed it with my magic.
"You won't get away with this! We'll find a way to stop you, and when we do, you're gonna pay for what you did to my brother and-...... What are you doing?"
"Trying to snap your brother out of my wretched spell."
I shook him a little trying to see if that would work but to no avail, I then tried a certain spell that I think might work.....
I blasted him with a reverse spell of the one I used on him in the broom closet, as his green eyes faded into normal as his eyes crossed together normally again.
"Huh?..... What's going-"
I slapped the captain with my hoof.
"YOU! DIVORCE! NOW!"
"AHH! OK!"
Later.....
Once we have finished signing the divorce papers, Twilight blasted her magic on the changeling goop covering Cadance's hooves, freeing her.
"Listen to me, you need to empower your groom with the love you have for him. It's the only way to banish the swarm."
"And what if you are lying to gain more power?"
"If I am lying, then you have my permission to smite me with all of your magical power in one blast."
Cadance and Shining Armor looked at each other for a bit, before embracing each other with a hug.
They're horns begun to spark and they were soon engulfed in an magical aura as they levitated into the air.
The Chrysalis inside me told me to stop them before they banished me and the hive, but I fought these urges. I fought for control.
I knew who I was, I wasn't a selfish parasite who took and took to become high and mighty.
I was a good person, I was doing the right thing by uniting a loving couple back together, and using their love to save their entire country.
Eventually, their love was so powerful it blasted all of Canterlot with it's energy, as I was sent hurtling out of the tower and up into the air.
The changelings followed suit, as they too were sent flying from the capital all the way back to the changeling kingdom.
And as I was sent flying through the air while I almost lost my lunch, everything in my field of view slowly turned a bright flashing white.......

Chapter 1. A buggy problem
"How do you expect to make peace with us if your hive is attacking the capital?!"
"I didn't think they would attack on their own! I swear!"
"And yet you still decided to impersonate me and steal my Fiance just so you could gain more power?!"
"I didn't intend to marry him before you got here! I thought if I just-"
"If you lead me to the real Cadance, we would make it back up faster? Well you're wrong! The caves were incredibly difficult to navigate!"
"Please! I don't want any of this! I just want to go home!"
Yup, that's me..... You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.....
Well, memes aside, I wasn't always the hole legged parasite you know me to be. I was just like you, going about my business, reading horse fics, and even writing horse fics too.
However, that all changed on one, terrible, grocery trip.
I just got back home from shopping groceries at the store, this time carrying more heavy stuff, for I needed to pack up for winter.
However, I was a bit distracted..... and when I walked up the stairs to the door, I accidentally lost my balance.
When I opened my eyes, I was in a familiar location, but it wasn't my room.....
No..... it was the familiar interior of a suite in the castle of Canterlot, with a bed and mirror and everything.
I thought I had simply watched too much my little pony, and begun to reach my neck to pinch it to wake me up from this weird dream.
However, all I felt was a weird stub....
I looked at my hand, and saw that it was replaced by a pink hoof. Cadance's hoof, to be exact.
Shocked, I galloped towards the mirror, and saw that I possessed the body of Princess Cadance herself.
I thought about screaming, but I stopped myself.... If I was really in the world of Equestria, then the ponies outside would come into my room to see if something was wrong, I couldn't explain to them that I was a really a creature from a different world that observed them through some kind of glass broadcasting device.
I now realized just what situation I was in........ I was in one of those humans trapped in ponies bodies situations.
I groaned to myself, why did this have to happen to ME? Why couldn't I have just lived a normal life and start a normal career, with a normal romantic partner?.
Then I thought.... that must have been a nasty fall..... and there was cement at the bottom of the snow.
I thought..... Is this my reincarnation? Is this my next life?
No, I shut down the idea, if this WAS my next life, I would have been born through the womb as the princess of love, and lost all my memories of my previous life, this was some kind of sick joke by some kind of greater Devine power that wanted to spite me.
Don't get me wrong, My little pony is a good show, but actually LIVING inside it causes all kinds of mental issues.
I would've been fine if I was in the body of someone I liked, or if I was reborn as my own original character.
However, before I could contemplate just what I was going to do while stuck like this, I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in?....." I answered, the voice not belonging to me.
A pony guard opened the door.
"Your highness, the catering is in need of your inspection. It would be best not to keep the groom waiting."
The guard then closed the door, as I merely stood there understanding what that meant.
I got transported to the day of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor's wedding.
And if I was "Cadance" while in the middle of preparing the wedding, then that could only mean one thing.
I walked back to the mirror, and tried to test my newfound magic.
I was able to get my horn to lift a rose of it's pot, with GREEN magic.
GREEN, not blue.
Oh no.......
My worst fears instantly came to life, as I used this magic to try to tear away this pink pony form, and reveal it to be something else entirely.
It was worse then I thought.
I wasn't trapped in the body of the loving Princess Cadance, I was stuck in the bod of that SLIMY, PARASITE, CHRYSALIS.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't HATE Chrysalis per say, I still think they could've given her some chance of redemption by the end of the show.
But there's just something about the way she cocoons ponies and uses them as batteries to become more powerful that's always made me uncomfortable.
I know the whole shtick of a changeling is that they feed on love, but it still makes me incredibly sick.
I just don't understand why she couldn't have just taken Starlight's hoof, so she wouldn't have to do THAT.
Maybe it was because she was always in it for the power, but either way.
Now I have to learn how to stop the upcoming changeling invasion while keeping up the guise of the bride so as to not get caught and have the ponies imprison me or worse for Chrysalis's crimes.
Which wasn't going to be easy.
I took in a deep sigh, before changing back into princess Cadance once again, as I left through the door to inspect the wedding catering.
I knew I had to find a way to get back my old life, I thought about how to do it
Did I have to get through the end of the show? Did I have to avoid Chrysalis's original fate and NOT be frozen into a statue for all eternity with an old decrepit horse man and a psychopathic nine year old?
Or was I merely stuck like this for the rest of my days?
Did I have to do what Chrysalis refused to, and shared love with the rest of the changelings, earning a bright transformation?
Or was this destined to be my true form till the day I croaked?
Only time will tell.
Either way, I could tell I was in for a bad time.........

Chapter 3. No relief for the innocent
It has been a couple hours, and I was lying in bed trying to wrap my head around my situation.
I knew that I had to make things better for all of them.... And I knew that I had to save their wedding....
But..... could I really change things all that much?.....
So far I haven't changed anything, I've merely been going along with how the script followed....
But.... I was still myself, I wasn't Chrysalis.... And I wasn't going to follow through on her plot to take over the capital.
As a person of Christian faith, I know that one must always strive to achieve good in the world, and good will come to you....
Even if it's not in your world, or your body.....
Never the less, I got out of bed, when I heard chatting coming from downstairs.
I exited the room, and went downstairs.
There, I saw Twilight talking with her brother.
"We need to talk, I think you're making a big."
I coughed a little to get their attention, as I stood atop the stairs with an impatient look.
"Oh, uh, hi sweetie."
"She sure has a way of sneaking up on people....."
"Could I speak to you for a moment, dear?"
I walked inside the broom closet as Shining Armor followed, when we went inside, he closed the door slightly.
I told him that he needed to not wear his medallion.
"This was my favorite uncles."
"And?"
"And I think I should wear it."
"Are you disagreeing with me?"
"I guess I am-!" Shining Armor suddenly felt a massive headache, as he begun to collapse on the ground.....
I was still getting used to using changeling magic, but even if I was good at it, I will feel extremely guilty over what I am going to do. But Twilight needs to know something is wrong.....
"I am so sorry for this......"
I casted a brainwashing spell on the captain, as his eyes spun around dizzy and his head was blasted with green magic.....
After the spell took effect, I lifted him back off the ground as we both walked outside the broom closet.
"Twilight?" The stallion called out to his younger sister, who bolted out the door, no doubt off to warn her friends of the impending danger.
All I could do was stand in hesitation, as I thought about what I was going to do next....
Later.......
I stood outside the doors to the alter, as two guards used their magic to open them.
I then walked towards the alter as Shining Armor stared with anticipation.
"I'll say a few words, and then we'll begin with the vows. Shining Armor, you'll get the ring from the best mare."
We all turned to see Twilight absent, as Spike was playing with his dolls.
"Hey..... has anypony seen Twilight?"
SLAM!
"I'm here! I'm not going to stand next to her! And neither should you!"
Hopefully my acting skills will come into play here.....
"I'm sorry, I.... I don't know why she's acting like this."
"Maybe we should just ignore her."
"You have to listen to me!"
"Oh, goodness! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"Ya sure about that?"
"I've got something to say! She's EVIL!"
Everypony in the room gasped as they chatted amongst themselves.
"She's been horrible to my friends, and I saw her put a spell on my brother that made his eyes go all-" Twilight imitated her brother's spinning eyes as a demonstration.
I remember that I neglected to imprison the bridesmaids, but of course I didn't want to do that because it would only make things more difficult for Twilight and Cadance.
Everypony stared at me as I stood near the corner in embarrassment, as Twilight cornered me with a smug grin.
I then played up the drama as I shed as many tears as I could.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"Because you're evil! EVIL! And if I don't stop you, you're gonna ruin my brother's life!"
As I ran across the hallway in tears, I stopped when I turned the nearest corner, hoping I could fix what I just did when it was all over....
Later....
I approached the purple unicorn as she sobbed on the floor, as I placed and rubbed a hoof on her head with a warm smile.
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault Twilight."
"But it is, I wrongfully accused of you being a nasty pony when really you were going through a lot of stress."
"Yes.... Things have been really stressful for me lately, but it's not your fault Twilight. You just don't know what is really going on...."
"Well I do now, Shining told me that you were using your magic to heal him, and that you were rude towards my friends because you had to make all the decisions for the wedding."
"He only told you what he remembered happening, what the spell made him think."
"But-.... Why would you make your spell give him misinformation?....."
"Maybe that's because I'm not Cadance." I made my eyes flash a hint of green to prove it.
Twilight felt the urge to gasp, but she paused as she thought about this whole situation.....
"Why are you telling me all this? If you wanted Shining Armor to believe lies and you wanted me to believe that as well, why are you revealing to me your secrets?"
"Because I needed you to know that something is wrong, and this is the only opportunity I have to speak to you alone. If the other ponies found out who I really was, they would have me imprisoned, or worse."
"And what's to stop me from telling the others myself?"
"Because I need you to know that I don't want any harm coming to them! I don't like what's going on anymore then you do, and I want to help you, your brother, and your foalsitter get your happy ending. But you need to trust me."
Twilight pondered on it for a moment.....
"And how exactly do you plan to help?"
"I can take you to the real Cadance, she's beneath the caves under Canterlot."
"Why is she under the caves?! Do you plan to imprison me with her?!"
"No! I want you to help her escape! I didn't-!.... Well, maybe I technically did put her there, but I don't want her there anymore. it's complicated. just, do you trust me?....."
Twilight stared in silence for a moment......
"When I do make it back up with her, you will explain everything to me once this is all over?"
"I'll do the best I can......"
Twilight looked as though she didn't entirely trust me, which was understandable. But she gave it some brief thought......
"Ok...... Take me to her....."
"Very well, just try not to get freaked out......"
I then tried to muster the ability to send Twilight to the caves, as my horn glowed a bright green.
Soon, green flames begun to surround the unicorn protege, as she looked a bit shocked from the experience.
Eventually, she begun to phase into the floor itself, along with the flames that surrounded her.
As I then walked back into my room, I hoped that I would be able to find a way to help her and save the real Cadance before it was too late......

Chapter 4. How to escape a crystal dungeon for dummies
I entered the suite and prepared to figure out how to use the spell to contact Twilight in the caves.
It was never shown just how Chrysalis was able to contact Twilight, so it was going to be a bit tricky.....
Never the less, as I tried to use the spell to contact her, I suddenly begun to develop an intense stomach craving....
It was weird, because I had just ate a decent meal prior to the reception, and it was enough to make me almost pass out. Like I said, I'm a very picky eater, but they do make some good cupcakes.
Regardless, I brushed off these cravings to try to contact Twilight, my horn glowed green as a magical projection manifested in my field of view, as Twilight's face appeared in front of me, as she jumped startled at my sudden appearance.
"Calm down! It's me! It's ok! It's fine...."
Twilight took a few deep breathes, before asking me the important question.
"Where is she?"
"She should be behind one of these crystal walls, try blasting them with your magic."
"But what if I accidentally hurt her? I don't want to potentially risk putting somepony I care for in danger!"
"You won't! Trust me. I know you will save her. Just take down this wall, and you will find her......"
Twilight kneeled her head a little bit, as she still didn't entirely trust me. After all, I haven't been completely honest with her on who I was or what was going on.
However, she snapped her head back into place, as she charged up her horn to deliver a blow against the wall.
Then, when it blasted, my spell lost communication.
I could only hope that I was doing things right, as I sat on the bed to think about my current predicament.....
I know that all of this happened because I had a nasty fall while carrying groceries, but why did I jump out of my own world into a fictional one into a random body?.....
Did this happen for a reason?..... It couldn't be a random act of supernatural luck......
Was this just my life now? Did I just happen to do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and this was my punishment for it?.....
Or did I have to do something to earn my old life back?.....
Because if this was how I would be reborn into Equestira, it's not at all how I pictured it.
I always saw myself being reborn as the spirit of chaos, Discord. Since I was a free spirit, and had a knack for over exaggeration and random humor.
After all, he does get reformed later in the show.....
As I took a sigh and walked towards the mirror, I concentrated my changeling powers to take the form of the Draconequus, for practice....
I just think that I would fit right in as the lord of chaos, and just don't see why the gods above thought I fitted in more with that gross, love devouring bug.....
But..... the only thing I could do now was tp try to change this canon for the better......
I changed back into Princess Cadance, and was about to stare at the window to admire the beautiful Canterlot view, until I suddenly got that intense stomach craving again.....
I felt weak to my stomach, and I felt as though I hadn't eaten anything for days.....
I fell on the floor weakened, as I felt an overwhelming hunger.....
It was then that I realized..... that my body wasn't asking for normal, physical food requirements..... It needed something that changelings ate every day....... It needed LOVE......
If I didn't eat any love for much longer, then I would soon die..... And I had a bad feeling on what would happen if I died while trapped in this body, I could die in my own world too.....
I got up, and tried to walk outside the suite to find a way to get the nutrients I needed.....
Shining Armor..... he was my only hope.....
I was about to open the door, until it opened to reveal the captain waiting on the other side.
I jumped back in surprise.
"Calm down! It's me, I just wanted to make sure that you are ready for our big day....." The groom told me, as I weakly tried to keep my balance and composure.
"Oh, yes.... I have my dress on and everything, can't wait." I assured through a fake smile....
".......... Are you ok? You don't look so good......"
"Oh, I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be? I can't wait for our wedding dear....."
"Your body looks as though it's dehydrated! You need to have a proper meal and fast!" The captain worried.
"You're right, I do...... and I am terribly sorry."
"What do you me-"
I begun to absorb the love Shining Armor had for Cadance as he slowly fell unconscious.....
Once I had gained enough energy, he collapsed to the floor unconscious....
I couldn't believe what I just did.....
I tried to assure myself that I only ate enough so that I could live, and not too much for power like Chrysalis wanted.....
That doesn't make me a bad person right? To want to live?.....
Never the less, I knew I couldn't leave the groom lying on the floor like this.....
I lifted him off the ground with my magic, and begun to carry him to his room.
I snuck past all the guards, and delivered him safely into his room, and placed him in his bed.....
I tucked him in gently, as he rested lightly in bed....
"I am terribly sorry, I know you only want to have a special day with your fiance, and I promise I will make it right....." I assured under my breath, as I gently closed the door.....
By Tomorrow, I hope Twilight is able to make it on time.....

Chapter 5. The big screwup
"Your highness! It is time for the best day of your life."
A guard woke me up in the middle of my sleep, as I realized that it was time......
"Ok, I will be ready in a moment..."
The guard nodded his head, as he gently closed the door leaving me to my thoughts.
I could only hope that I lead Twilight to the real Cadance, otherwise there could be drastic consequences.
I begun to slip into the wedding dress and head out the door, praying that they will be able to make it before it can become official.
I walked into the hallway leading up to the alter, as the doors opened to reveal a group of ponies all lined up, the flower children spread their petals throughout the hall.
As I walked down the aisle, I tried to play it cool and sport a happy smile to look like I was excited, when really I was nervous and on the verge of tears.
I looked up and saw that the groom's eyes were a dull green, and he looked like a stoned zombie who had too much weed.
Must've been from all that love drained, I thought to myself.
I didn't want to do this, I didn't want to get married to a hypnotized horse.
I wasn't losing my virginity like this.
How was Chrysalis ok with this? How was she comfortable getting married to a stranger just for some dumb infiltration mission?.
Oh yeah, she's an insane power hungry lunatic who will get down with just about anybody for a quick snack.
As I walked up the alter where Shining Armor stood still as a doornail, Celestia began to recite her pre-wedding speech.
"Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, and Shining Armor."
I thought about how I could try to stall for time, by giving off an appreciation speech right before Celestia asks for the vows. But I decided against it, because if I dragged it out for too long they would think that "Cadance" didn't want to get married, which would've raised some alarm bells.
"Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, do you take Shining Armor to be your lawfully wedded husband for all time?"
"I........................... do.........."
I drew out that vow for as long as I could, hopefully it bought them enough time.
"And do you, Shining Armor, take Princess Cadance to be your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and health?"
"Mmm hmm." Is all the groom could say, as he nodded his head in response.
"............... I'll take that as a yes......." Celestia merely acknowledged.
"Then without any further ado, Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, it is my great pleasure to pronounce you mare and stallion"
Wait, WHAT?!
The crowd cheered in celebration as I stood there completely baffled how Twilight and Cadance couldn't make it in time.
What did I do wrong? How could I have made things get even worse?......
I thought back to when I beckoned Twilight to blast the crystal, I didn't tell her how powerful her blast needed to be......
I begun to feel sick in my stomach, could I have accidentally gotten the real Cadance killed?.....
"STOP!!!"
I snapped my head back into reality, as me and everypony else turned to see Twilight looking visibly pissed off and annoyed.
Her friends could only face hoof in frustration, as Celestia looked incredibly pissed.
"You can't do this! You can't have her marry hi-"
"It's too late Twilight Sparkle, the marriage is valid." Celestia coldly stated.
"WHAT DID SHE SAY?!" Asked Cadance, as she stepped through the door looking even more pissed then the mare next to her.
Everypony gasped in shock and horror, as I merely sighed in relief, knowing that at least I'm not a murderer.
"I don't understand! How can there be two of them?"
"She's a changeling! She takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off your love for them!"
Everypony then turned me to in bewilderment, as I knew I had some explaining to do......
I shed the Cadance disguise, as they all gasped in horror.
Cadance merely stared with contempt, and hatred in her eyes.....
"Uhh...... I can explain......."

Chapter 6. Clearing things up
I stood before a crowd of either shocked looking stallions or angry looking mares.
I cleared my throat and begun to speak up.
"I am Chrysalis, queen of the changeling hive. And I did come here to invade the capital and take over. But after some thought, time, and consideration...... I changed my mind, instead I would like to find a way to make peace with Equestria." I proposed, hoping to find a way to ease the tension.
"You would like to make peace with us?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, peace. Wouldn't have it any other way, can we be frie-" I paused when I looked up and saw the changeling army pounding on the shield.
Seems like everyone else noticed too, as they looked and saw the hive with frightened gasps.
Eventually, the shield broke into a million pieces, as the swarm invaded and ravaged everything they saw.
Everypony could only give me disappointed glares as they presumed that I lied of offering peace.
"I can explain, really. They didn't know of my change of plans. Honest!"
"How do you expect to make peace with us if your hive is attacking the capital?!"
And we're back to square one. The part where I am cornered by a bunch of angry mares while I'm left sobbing on the floor like a struggling worm on a fishing rod.
This was all my fault, I just knew it....
If I had stopped to think of a different solution, and not go along with Chrysalis's plans none of this would've happened.
I took away Cadance's fiance, I ruined the only means of protection for the capital, all I do is make things worse.....
But then I realized..... I could still make things better, there was still a way to make things right.
I inhabited the body of the swarm's queen, maybe even their mother.
The whole reason they are attacking is because she wanted them to, they HAVE to listen to me. I was the one in control here.
I stood up straight, and stared the mares into the eyes.
"I will order them to stop. I am their queen, so they must stop when I command them too."
I then walked towards the window and focused my gaze on the invading changeling swarm.
"My subjects! May I have your full undivided attention?"
The changelings didn't hear me, they continued attacking the ponies.
"I command that you hear me!"
Still, my voice didn't get through.
"AS YOUR QUEEN, I COMMAND YOU TO LISTEN TO ME!!!"
That seemed to get their attention, they all stopped invading to see me standing above the tower.
They then all bowed majestically.
"Yesssssss, your majesssssty?" They hissed buzzing their wings.
I then proceeded to give out my next command............
"REPLACE THE PONIES YOU CAPTURED TO CONFUSE THEM!"
"WHAT?!"
The changelings transformed into replicas of the cocooned ponies while I grinned mali-.... malicio-.....
What did I just do?.......
"YOU LIAR!"
"No no! I don't know why I just did that! I swear!"
"You are nothing but a deceiver and a trickster. You have been playing an act the whole time! But now that you have so foolishly revealed your true self, I can protect my subjects, FROM YOU!" Celestia then fired a laser at me.
I tried to run, but it struck me in the back as I fell to the floor unconscious......
All I could do was ponder why I suddenly lost control for a split second, as my vision faded into black......

Chapter 7. One and the same
As my vision begun to come back to me, I found myself trapped in a purple shield bubble protected by none other then Twilight Sparkle herself....
"Twilight..... where am I?..... What's going on?"
"My friends are heading to the Canterlot storage to retrieve the elements of harmony to repel you and your swarm away from our home!" Twilight coldly stated, as she glared at me with contempt.
"Twilight, I have no idea why I gave that order! It just came out!"
"Why should I believe you?! You have been nothing but cagey and dishonest to me the entire time! You kidnapped and impersonated my foal sitter, you brainwashed my brother, you were mean towards my friends, and you're invading the capital!"
"There is an explanation for all of that! I'm not a bad person! I just want to help! I'm sorry!"
Twilight stared at me, she saw the pain in my eyes.....
She slowly lowered her shield to meet me face to face.
"You really mean it?......."
I took a bite out of her neck as she winced in pain, stumbling weakly onto the floor.
"Not sorry! Hah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Hah.... ha..... eh....."
What's happening to me?!
Twilight raised up her shield in annoyance.
"Twilight! I don't know what came over me! You must believe-!"
"No, I see you for who you are now. You are not hurting me, or my friends, ANYMORE!"
It was no use now, I lost Twilight's trust completely......
What is WRONG with me?
Was Chrysalis taking back control? Was she still in here, fighting for control?
No, I was aware of what I did. If I wasn't in control, then I wouldn't have realized.
No, it would seem something far worse may be happening.
Perhaps the longer I stay in this body, the more me and Chrysalis become one and the same.
There was only one thing I could do now.....
"Your friends are going to fail." I warned the purple unicorn.
"You can't discourage me! I won't give up on my friends!" Twilight defended.
"No! I mean they are in danger! My swarm is guarding the elements behind the front door, they will only get captured trying to recover them. You must free Shining Armor from my spell and have Cadance use her love to empower him and banish me and my hive."
Twilight glared at me with a confused and frustrated expression.
"Why are you telling me this?! How do I know that love won't only make you more powerful?!"
"Why would I warn you that your friends are about to be ambushed? I am giving you a chance to protect your home and your friends and family. If you do not believe me, you will fail, and you and everypony will be used as cattle." I threatened, trying to steer Twilight into the right direction.
"Why are you even trying to help me like this? What is your game Chrysalis?" She sneered, trying to understand my motive.
"My game? I want to make you think you stand a chance before my hive crushes you and your puny friends and we suck you dry of your love! Hah ha!"
Twilight gave me an angry scowl, as I..... blinked..... and got a grip of myself.
It was getting worse, I needed them to charge up that spell.
"Just snap Shining Armor out of it, before it's too late."
Twilight stared at me with contempt, before walking away to get Cadance.
If I was doomed to stay as a mad bug queen for the rest of my days, then I would use what little consciousness of my previous life I had left to make things better, and save Equestria.
I was going to miss being human, watching funny videos, playing games online with friends.
Living with mom and dad, even if they bug me sometimes.....
But if I my original personality was going to go down, then it was going to go down fighting.
I shut my eyes, and tried to concentrate, trying to fight for control.
Slowly, my vision started to turn into a flashing white light, as I left my mind being warped into time and space and beyond.....

Chapter 8. What you choose to be
I awakened to find myself in a pure, white void.
I looked at my arms, and saw that they had fingers.....
I was human again.
I walked through the empty void, I approached closer and closer to what appeared to be a desk, occupied by none other then........
"Discord?....." I blinked, not believing what I was seeing.
"Just a moment, I'm filing through some very important paper work."
I gazed at the paper work in question, which was filling different characters from MLP with random names, as well as some names I recognized.
He then put the papers down.
"Now, what can I do for you?"
"I'm just a little confused. First of all, what is this place? Second of all, what are YOU doing here? Aren't you supposed to be imprisoned in stone? And finally, WHAT IS THAT PAPER WORK?!"
"One question at a time! Jeez, you hairless monkeys are always so confused when your view of reality is shattered around you."
I tried not to take offense to that.
"Anyways, to answer your questions. One: This is the void between conscience, and un-conscience."
I looked around the void in question.
"I don't understand....."
"Let me put it simpler, you know how when you fall asleep, and you have one of those dreams where your soul leaves your body, and you explore and float around the world outside of it?"
"Yes.... though I can't say that has ever happened to me."
"Well most people don't remember it so that could be a reason. Anyway, this place is what happens when your soul leaves your body, but it doesn't want to explore the world around it. It stays trapped, in this sort of limbo pocket space."
"I see......"
"Two: I'm here because while I'm trapped in my deeply, uncomfortable stone prison. My conscience likes to enter this place from time to time to have a little..... fun."
"What kind of fun?"
"Fun with the people out of TV land of course. Which leads me to three: These are the files of the people I infuse from the real world to the people of Equestria. To see how they react and what happens when their souls merge with them." Discord explained with a casual grin, as if this was completely normal.
"You mean to tell me, that you've been stripping humans from their bodies, and placing them into the bodies of PONIES?!" I was flabbergasted how one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite tv shows was able to reach beyond the forth wall and pluck people's souls out of the real world.
"Not just ponies dear, other creatures too."
"Regardless! Why would you do that?! You are upsetting the boundaries of the fourth wall! Things aren't meant to be like this! How could you ever do this?"
"When a story is drawn in a world, it becomes a reality in another. The creators of my world made me a god in my own, so I was able to do things that a god could. Including interacting with mortal souls, this is just something I see as a hobby when the elements trap my physical form, to pass the time."
"And you've been doing this for HOW long?!"
"About ten to fifteen years, give or take."
"Wha- what about our original bodies back in our world?! What happens to them?!"
"Oh, they continue on as normal, just without any life to them. You should see how you look to your parents, they've been trying to get you to lighten up for days to no avail."
He showed me a mirror which showed me stirring my veggies lifelessly, as my parents watched with concern in their eyes....
"You have to take me back! I don't belong as a dictating shapeshifting insect!"
"Oh of course you do! You and Chryssie have so much in common."
"We have NOTHING in common!"
"Oh, I beg to differ. You both are controlling, you both have anger issues, you both have a flair for the dramatic, and most importantly of all, you both like boys..... A LOT......"
I had to give it to him, I did have my..... problems........
"But..... but I'm not a bad person!"
Discord merely laughed hysterically, as he tried to pull himself together.
"You think I CARE if you're a bad person or not?! No no no no no! Mortality has nothing to do with it. It's all about personality, and life, and passion."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, did I really have more in common with Chrysalis then I realized?
"Listen to me, the way I see it, I choose who I want who to be while I'm in here, and that's never going to change unless the elements release me from my prison. Now, run along back into your little bug body, while I sort out which big hairless ape is going in which Equestrian creatures body next."
He proceeded to pick up his paper work, as I sat there thinking about what he said......
"You're right about one thing Discord, you do choose who goes in which body....."
Discord merely chuckled to himself, as he drank a bit of coffee as he read his paper work.
"But you can't tell me who I want to be."
As Discord's ears perked up, I rushed back to the entrance I came in.
"What are you doing?!" I heard Discord's flabbergasted voice across the void.
"I'm going to make things right one way or another!" I declared, as I felt my essence leaving the void, and entering a different plane of existence entirely.

Chapter 10. A life changing experience
As I took in my surroundings, I suddenly found myself back in the void between conscience, and un-conscience.
Standing in front of me was the lord of chaos himself.
"You've got guts kid, I'll give you that. You must really value the life you have if you so desperately try to cling to it, and not give it up for something else."
"You honestly believe I was just going to let myself grow into a position where I would be petrified along with two of Equestria's most notorious criminals? HELL no! I know who I am! And I will fight for that name for as long as I live!"
Discord admired my determination, as he stroked his beard amused.....
"You know what? You're attitude has got me thinking about a couple things, mainly that..... I was wrong to place your souls into bodies that don't belong to you. And that you and Chrysalis don't have THAT much in common...... You know, I actually see a bit more of myself in you then I would like to admit......"
I gave off a quick smile at his compliment.
"So I guess this is goodbye, for now, until you eventually croak and wind up here again."
"So you're taking me back home?"
"Consider it a reward for being able to amuse me more then anyone else in your position could."
And with that, the mix and match hybrid snapped his claws, as my vision started to fade.....
When I woke up, I found myself back in my room, on my bed. As if nothing had ever happened....
I took in a sigh of relief, believing the whole experience to just be some wild, crazy, fever dream.....
I got out of bed, and got dressed, then proceeded to log on to my computer, eager to watch some more horse videos.
However, what I saw while searching and scrolling made my jaw drop with utter shock....
There were videos on the topic of Chrysalis's reformation, and how it was handled phenomenally.......
Oh boy..........
