Enjoy yourself... -Dashie Book 2: Eyes of Stone Prolouge: Time goes on 'Two days tops... TWO FUCKING DAYS!!!!' It had been close to four months. You stayed with MoonJade because you just had nowhere else to go. If you could be out there in the world by yourself you would have taken the offer. You lay on the brown sofa she had bought you for certain times of the month. You let out a small snicker. She was on one of those days right now. Every so often when she was in heat you could smell it. It was a very beautiful smell. It just begged to be answered. She would always tease you and she could get away with it too because she wouldn't let you near her. You just want to hump the shit out of her but Jade was scared of a foal. You were too, well just a little. The past few months have been almost nothing but frantic coupling. You two had finally found a deal that worked and stuck to it. You were allowed to go anywhere, but if you were to leave permenitally you at least had to say goodbye. The other half of the deal was you couldn't have any of Jade until that fateful week had come and gone. You knew that sex was just a way to prove you would stay to her. To you, just a way to relieve pent up stress without choking someone to death. You laugh at the thought. 'Ah... Fun times...' Somepony had entered the store and decided it was an OK idea to piss off Jade. Well you hadn't had sex in a while and weren't in such a good mood. You had jumped the counter and beat the poor colt into a pulp. He didn't press charges for the judge had long since left the lawless town. Buckingham was peaceful during the day. During the night? Rape, killings, beatings, and foalnapping. The cops instigate every last criminal in this Celestia forsaken land. You snap out of your thoughts as Jade came out of the hallway whisling. You weren't the biggest fan of the sofa being out by the hall. She stopped and looked at your with her blood red eyes. She was a jet black mare with a cutie mark that depicted a purplish flower wilting, yet it seemed so full of life. Her mane was black as well with a destinct gray band running down it. She could hide so easily if not for that gray. She began to trot off but not before running her tail over your nose. You stare at her with your emotionless face. Ever since your sister Amythyst had died you had felt no emotion but pleasure and pain. You face always remained blank. You turn and look back at yourself. You hadn't bathed in a few days. You were a grey stallion with black stripes that ran just a few inches from their origin. Up on your neck, nose, back, behind each knee and just behind your cutie mark. It was a bear paw print. The fight with the bear hadn't gone to well. You lived, barely, with a new cutie mark and a new look on life. You heard arguing and looked up to see Jade yelling at a stallion with a sly smirk plastered on his face. You slowly raised from the couch and trotted over. "Is there a problem here?" The stallion froze. He stared into your emotionless eyes and went white. "Well, is there a problem?" He shook his head grabbing his bags and running off. You look around the small gardening and home repair store. It had most of what everypony needed which kept buisness flowing. You turn to see Jade with tears in her eyes. "You okay Jade?" "No... Thats the third one this week." You stared blankly at her. 'What does she mean third one?' She turned to you and gave you a light kiss. "Thanks... Its been a hectic time. I don't know how they know... They just do..." A candle lit in your head. 'Duh...' "They keep commenting on the smell... They like it... I don't know why I smell like I do... I never use to before you showed up..." She paused and wiped the tears from her face. She got up on her hindlegs and motioned for a hug. With a sigh you stand up and let her into your arms. Her voice became a whisper in your ear. "I went to the doctor yesterday... She said that..." She paused composing herself. "She said that when my body is ready for a foal that it attracts my 'mate'," She hooved the quotations. "And tries to get me with foal... I don't know if I want one or not... I know that you won't stick around forever... Your the only one I trust to raise it... I don't want to move because I have a good buisness... I just..." She kept on panicing. "Jade..." You said calmly. She didn't hear you. "Jade..." This time you were louder but she was to frantic. You dropped her onto her hooves while she sttill rambled on. You walked over to the door and put the 'Out to lunch: Back in a hour.' sign up and walked back to her. She was still freaking out over a little foal that she wasn't having. You reached down under the counter and pulled out a little tab that said 'Out of order' and placed it on the cash register. She turned to you and mustn't have noticed you did anything because she kept going. "Jade..." You tried for the final time. You grabbed the back of her head and pressed your lips firmly against hers. She gasped but then slowly closed her eyes. She slid her tongue into your mouth and explored a bit. You broke the kiss and let her wrap her hooves around your neck. "Jade..." "Yeah babe?" She said. She looked at you closely but you could still see her fear. "Do you want a foal?" Plain and simple. Her eyes widened but then slowly returned to normal. "Do you want a foal?" "I don't know... I really would only want one with you, but you won't stay to watch it grow..." You closed your eyes looking down and shook your head. "I will watch it grow... I'll take you two with me if I have too..." She began bouncing up and down with exictment. "Jade..." She stopped and snapped back to you. You pressed you lips against hers and moved your bodies closer. She got her hips as close to yours as possible. You crouched down. She knew this trick and hopped up wrapping her hindlegs around your waste. You put one arm under her rump and the other against her head keeping your lips locked. You moved off to the bedroom. You set it back around Jade and put your chin on her head. You didn't wan't to wake her. Closing your eyes to get some more sleep you felt movement under you. Opening your eyes you notice Jade had turned around and was fiddling with you chest. She looked up and met your stone gray eyes and gave a weak smile. "Hey babe..." Her voice was so quiet. You ran a hoof down her cheek and rested it under her chin. She smiled at the contact. You removed your hoof and wrapped it back around her pulling her close. She snuggled in your musclualr body. Working on the farm before the inncedent had left you well toned. Keeping it like it was wasn't as hard as you had thought. A few push ups here and there picking Jade up and curling her every so often. You kept your body in great shape. She ran a gentle hoof over your rippling chest. She stopped and met your eyes again. Jade frowned as she recalled the story of your sister dying due to smoke poisoning. You rolled out of bed and walked off to the door. Jade rolled onto her back and watched you leave. At the door you stopped. "Aren't you coming?" You heard a rustling as she bolted to your side. Her head ducked under yours and she rubbed your neck with her head. You wrapped a hoof around her and walked down to the bathroom. Jade stopped at the closet to get towels while you walked in to start the water. After a few minutes she walked back into the bathroom. "What took you so..." You turned to see her leaning up against the door frame in the sexiest pose yet. You slipped an evil grin as you approached. Standing on your hindlegs you wrapped your hooves around her waist. "Seconds already? I thought you didn't like it in the tub?" She smiled and gave you a kiss. Walking to through the hallway you heard a conversation going on. Picking up the pace you turn the corner to find a couirer. He was oddly fimiliar. "Then why are you in here?" He paused for a second. e looked like he was gonna say something but just gave up. He turned around and reached into his saddlebag. He pulled out a small envolope and hoofed it over to you before bolting away. You flipped the envolope over and sure enough it had your name with the shop's address. 'No one knows I live here...' Curiosity spiked you turn it back over and rip it open. You find a letter inside with some very neat hoofwriting on it. You skip to see who it was by. 'Rarity?' You didn't know anypony by that name. You looked over hte letter: Hello there, I was reading the paper the other day when something bothered me as I read. It said you had beat the daylights out of an innocent pony in Buckingham. It was a very interesting story. I'm suprised he didn't press charges. I guess he deserved it if you beat him up. Anyways, I'm getting carried away. The thing is me and a few of the girls are going to Buckingham to visit your sister's grave. We are coming on the 12th so mark your calendar. If you have one. Twilight will be in Canterlot so she won't make it sadly. Pinkie was being Pinkie when I tried to talk to her. She won't be coming either. You put the letter in the trash and head to the door. Pushing it open and walking outside you turn towards the cemetary. 'Time to pay Amy a visit...' It was quite a walk to the outskirts of town. The shop sat smack dab in the middle of Hoofington street. The cemetary was on Cartsdale a whole two miles away outside of town. As you walk down the lonely road you look to the scenery around you. It was pale and most of it was dead. Nopony ever cared for anything here in Buckingham. It was much diffrent back in Ponyville. At least there was a variaty of colors and hues. It was a marvelous sight. You weren't paying enough attention to the road when you smack into something. You look over and notice a smaller pony on the ground. He wasn't much just a scrawny little colt. "Get lost..." The colt was stricken with fear and couldn't move. You nudge him with a fore hoof. He still doesn't move. Grasping him and hauling him to his feet you pat his rump and soon he gets the message. Off he went with a cloud of dust following him down the road. 'I hate foals... Why does Jade want one? I don't think I could just abandon my foal if I had one... I hope she isn't pregnant... We should really talk this over before we do anything to rash... We did it what... Twice? Maybe she is past... Ah who am I kidding... I'll just talk to her when I get back...' You kicked the ground sending dust into the air. You finally got the cemetary with no delays besides the little colt. You look at the hours open and notice they were closed on Saturdays. 'Thats strange... Usally its Wednesdays...' You sigh and begin the long walk back to the Gardening Hut. You kept on going until you saw the town's outline and then began to sprint. Running into the shop you notice Jade humming as she watered the plants. You let out a relieved sigh. She didn't pay you much mind until you turned her head and kissed her. "We really need to talk..." She looked at you very confused. "What about? There really isn't much on my mind... You don't ever talk about what's on your mind... So... It must be about the foal... It is isn't it?" You nod. "Well, I need to get a test that's for sure..." Her face went red. "Well that doesn't bother me... I don't really know if I want one or not... I just need some time... Think we could hold off until then?" She thought about it for awhile before giving a slight nod. "Good... I know your really happy... I just don't know if I could ever be happy again... To much has gone on..." You sigh and walk off. "Wait! Are we still on for tonight?" 'Oh shit! The reservations...' Jade had booked a nice little resteraunt for the two of them. You weren't fond of the idea at first. Jade had to nag you into saying yes. "Yeah... We are still on for tonight..." Babe..." You felt a light hoof on your back. "Hey wake up..." "Hmmm..." You mumbled as you rolled onto your back and opened your groggy eyes to see Jade with a half-hearted smile. She held out a small letter with your name on it. No return address again. "Hmmm." You take it and look at it for a moment, the mailing address was in a completely different hand writing than Rarity's. "I'll look at it later... What time is it?" Her smile grew a bit as she walked over to the dresser. "Well, we should leave here in about a half hour..." She pulled out a very nice blue dress; it was a dark navy blue with a light orange hint around the edges. She turned around and held it up to her body. "How does it..." She giggled as she saw your jaw on the floor "Well, I see you like it... Come on I need a shower before we leave..." You got out of the bed and followed her to the bathtub. She set the water on mild. You frowned and turned it up a bit. She stepped in and winced at the temperature. You stopped her from turning it down and stepped in front of the shower head and let it run down your body. Standing up, you pull her into a small embrace. She pressed her head up against your chest and gave a deep sigh. You bent over and let water run onto her. She let out another sigh obviously getting use to the water. You gently slide a hoof down her face and whisper into her ear. "We are going to have some visitors tomorrow... I don't want you to say anything to offend them... They are from Ponyville..." She hugged you tighter and pulled her hoof onto your chest. Running it up and down she let out another sigh. "Something on your mind?" She nodded and dug her face deeper into your rib cage. "You don't want to talk about it do you?" She shook her head and dug her face deeper almost preventing you from breathing. You pull out the shampoo and wash her hair. You felt a cold drip on your chest. The water was almost boiling but this felt ice cold. You look down and notice she was sobbing. You stop washing her mane and hug her tight. Running a hoof up and down her back you whisper soft words of comfort. You had no clue as to what made her sad but you knew it wouldn't be long. "Let it all out... You're ok..." She lifted her head and gave a small sniffle. "You know I really don't like it when you cry..." She nodded and wiped her drenched face. You pulled her head back into your chest and let her finish. You turned off the water and reached over for a towel. Jade didn't hide the fact she was sobbing now. She held tighter than ever now, squeezing almost all the air out of you. You begin to dry her off and wipe yourself as well. You lift her up as she keeps the water flowing onto your shoulder. You got her as dry as possible before you reached your bedroom. Her mane was a little wet but that didn't bother you. Laying her onto the bed and climbing on top of her you give her a light peck and slowly slide into her just to calm her down. It worked. She stopped and motioned for you to keep going but you pulled out and grabbed her dress. She perked up a little more after looking at the dress. Getting up she walked up to you. Helping her into it you comb her hair after. 'She is gonna be pissed about something later... Might as well make her night as good as I can for now...' You look over to a mirror only to be met with a blank face staring at you. No emotion ever touched the face you saw. You couldn't even tell what kind of emotion no emotion was. Jade finished getting into the elegant dress and marveled at herself in the mirror. You gave a weak smile. She turns and plants her lips firmly against yours. "When we get back I need you to help me out of this dress..." Her voice was quiet and you could hear a bit of seductiveness in it as well. "We don't have to go... We could always..." You nod your head towards the bed. She takes a quick glance before giving you another firm kiss. Her tongue forced its way into your mouth. You wrapped your own around hers and gave it a quick rub before she broke off. Her eyes were half closed and she spoke in the soft voice. "We will... later..." She turned and began to head out the door before turning her head slightly. "I love you... You know that right?" She continued out the door and didn't stop to wait for you. Once at the restaurant, you ask for your reserved table. The waiter was a very snooty unicorn. He motioned for you to follow. Jade was right behind you. You pulled the chair out for Jade when you reached the table. She planted her rump in it and you gave it a firm push to get her closer to the table before taking your own seat. The waiter gave you each a menu and told you the server would be by soon. "I've never been here before... It will be a while before I order..." You looked up to Jade. 'She told me she had loved this place...' A server came by with some salad. You liked this one better. He was a pegasus pony. He was very nice and asked if you would like anything right away before ordering. "Uhm... I'll have another salad... Oh and can you bring some Hay sticks?" The waiter jotted the order down and pointed to Jade. "Ma'am? Would you like anything before I take your order?" Jade shook her head and continued to read the menu. The server looked to you. You gave him a shrug before he flew off to the kitchen. "Jade... What's wrong…? You are never like this..." She closed the menu and set it aside with a heavy sigh. "We need to talk..." 'Fuck... Sorry for asking...' "I went to the doctor today... Everything is fine... I just wanted to see if..." She paused and took a deep breath. "Well, you see... Uhm... The thing is..." "You’re pregnant?" You just wanted to get her to stop babbling. She looked up. "That’s what we need to talk about... After you went off to take your nap I left and closed up the shop to get myself looked at... She took a long time to examine me... Well she said she would be back... About an hour later she came back and said she had good news and terrible news... I like good news as much as the next person... I asked what the terrible news was first... She denied me and told me the 'good' news instead..." You were so focused on Jade you hardly noticed the platter in front of you. "She said the good news was that I'm clean as a whistle... Well she took her time after that to explain what my health was... I knew she was beating around the bush so I asked for the terrible news... She told me..." A tear ran down her cheek. "She told me... I can never have foal..." You felt a bit of shock. "After all this trouble of her encouraging me to go and get one... I can never have a foal... I-I just couldn't take it... I ran before she could tell me why..." She had tears streaming down her face now. You lifted a hoof to call for the check but Jade told you no. "Jade we can do this another time. I want to know what's wrong... This isn't something you can blow off. Something is seriously wrong..." You pull out a few bits and put them on the table as a tip. "Come on..." Jade was full blow crying now. You told the server it wasn't his fault and gave him some more bits. As you walked on Jade had finished crying. She still whimpered but she had no tears left. You approached the clinic and pushed your way inside. Jade was hesitant, but you just dragged her along. She was done fighting. You told the nurse you would like to speak to Jade's doctor. She kindly told you take a seat and wait a few minutes. A pink mare in a white coat came rushing out and grabbed Jade dragging her into the back room. If this wasn't serious you might have laughed. The door slammed behind you as the mare rummaged around some documents. She finally found the one she was looking for and opened it up. "MoonJade... Here we are... Okay... Now as I was saying earlier before you ran out... You can't have foals. I wish I could tell you otherwise but there is just nothing I can do about it. I can't accurately pin it, but I pulled a small fetus out of you... I checked it only to find it had none of your genes... You’re barren Jade; it's not your fault. I don't know how you are even here today since this is a genetical problem... Your mother shouldn't have been able to have you... You're very lucky." Jade was sobbing again with new found tears. You rested a hoof on her back. "Have you ever considered adoption?" Jade got up and wiped the tears from her eyes. "I think we are done here... Babe, come on..." She began to walk out of the door. "That’s one tough mare you snagged there..." She turned and met your gaze only to have her own turn into pure horror. She motioned for you to leave. You caught a glance in the mirror. Nothing had changed. You opened the door to the shop and locked it once closed. You continued to the back and flicked the lights off to the front. On down the hallway you saw the bedroom light was on. You tried to open the door, but it was locked. You hit your head against the door and cursed yourself. 'This shit always happens...' You began to walk to the couch. The door slid open a little and Jades muzzle popped out. "Come back... I'm sorry for locking you out..." You hear a little click of the door unlocking. You push it open to find Jade on the bed forcing out tears that weren't there. You shut the door quietly behind you and locked it. You crawled onto the bed and pulled her into your embrace. You slowly removed her dress that was getting tangled all around her body. Tossing it to the side of the room you wrap your hooves back around her. "Everything will be okay..." Wait I thought she was a unicorn?' You looked back up and sure enough she had a horn. "You’re an alicorn... What are you doing here?" She sighed and looked you up and down again. She nodded and began to walk away. "Wait! You never answered my last question!" She turned and looked a little peeved. "Well, you never answered our question so why should we answer yours?" You nodded. She had a very valid point. You took a very deep breath and sighed. "I'm running because I don't have the best track record with the law... There I answered your question now will you answer mine?" You stood up and tested your hoof. It hurt a bit but it was bearable. You walked over to a tree waiting for an answer you planned to take off right after. "Well, we are here because we felt like we needed to get away for a while..." You looked at her and punch a tree. The bathrooms were back here but further down was a door leading to the back. There was some stairs and another hall. "You downstairs?" You call out. "Yeah! Just walk on down here!" You took a delicate step and you felt the board bend. It didn't squeek but if you hadn't been so careful it probably would have. Ever since Amy passed your steps never made a sound. Some called you a ghost, others an assassin. You called yourself you. Nothing had changed except the fact you felt nothing. Pain was dull and sadness was flushed away by a bottle. Your 'give a shit button' had been broken along with your heart. The last step was concreate so you sped up and rounded the corner. You were met withrows apon rows of kegs. You smiled at how easy it was to get lost down here. "Where you at?" You call one last time. "Right here..." Her voice was a whisper and it came from your side. You turned to see her smile. "Can you help me with a few kegs? I always have Ice to help me but he didn't show up... He called saying he was too hungover. I didn't doubt him knowing how much him and Frost went at it... I tried to stop serving them after the tenth round... Anyways... I guess Luna told you about my offer?" You nodded. She pointed to a specific barrel on a row. "This one here... Anyways I don't need an answer until tomorrow Ice says he's gonna leave and travel to Ponyville if he got a chance... You're his chance... I'll admit I am really going to miss him..." She sighed helping you get the large barrel on your back. You walked towards the stairs with Fern behind you guiding the barrel through the small walkways. "I don't know if I want it, I'll think on it, I don't know how long I'm staying here..." You hauled the keg up the stairs. You reached the top without making a single sound and continued through the hallway. You stopped as a soft hoof brushed your flank. Turning back you notice Fern blush a very deep red. "Sorry... I was holding the barrel and..." She trailed off. You dropped the barrel and turned to face her completely. She winced at your cold stare. "You know, I really don't like any pony touching me..." Fern began backing away. She was a little scared at your tone. You didn't persue her instead you held your ground. "Next time ask before you try to cop a feel..." Fern stopped and her blush grew deeper. She averted her eyes just trying to hide her embarrassment. "Anyways... Like I was saying... The pay will be worth your while..." You continued to the back and found the bedroom with ease. It was small with a few accessories here and there but not much. You placed her onto the bed and pulled the covers over her. She snuggled into the sheets with a warm smile. You laugh at her cuteness. You stop and your eyes go wide. 'Wait... WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST LAUGH FOR!?!?' You curse yourself and face hoof. Turning a three-sixty you survey the room for another item to sleep on. Nothing was there. Sighing you crawl into the bed and pull her into your embrace. A cough made you turn to the other side of the table. Ice sat there facing the street. You turned back as well and sat in silence. A small shuffle moved across the table. Without looking you reached out and pulled it closer. Picking it up you read the top and set it back down and shove it over to Ice. "When do you leave?" You ask. "Tomorrow... Frost will be taking the senior position but will still need some help..." Ice coughed again and dropped a few bits onto the table. A waiter came by and dropped off two steaming glasses of tea. Ice tapped the glasses and pushed one over. "Will you ever come back?" You had a bit of concern in your voice. "No... I have some ghosts that need to be faced... I might not come back... I might not even stay in Equestria..." He took a long sip from his tea. You followed suit and set the glass down with a long 'AHHHHHHH' then smacked your lips. It was rather good. Rose tea with a hint of nutmeg and a touch of sunflower seeds. A lemon sat on the side of the fancy glass but it was frozen solid thanks to Ice. "I'll miss ya..." "You barely know me..." "I know but you’re a friend... I don't have many friends nor would I call many ponies a friend... I don't want to see you go... Face your dreams and your nightmares... Be safe..." You got up and walked away. You wouldn't turn around you couldn't turn around. 'No emotions...' It was easy to find now that you somewhat knew your way around the castle. Opening the doors you slid in. No guards where posted nor was the door locked. 'Something’s up...' You froze as you breathe in. A strong smell hit your nostrils that was very familiar yet you couldn't pin it. You looked around the room. No pony but yourself inhabited it. Walking over to the bathroom you crack the door and poke your head in. Nothing: you shrugged and walked back to the bed. "I'm imagining things again..." You sigh as you approach the bed. "Or you're not..." Your eyes flew open and you shoot your gaze up. "OH FUCK ME!!" You yell before something hit you making you black out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You opened your eyes. There was nothing around you in the small room. A light hung above you making you the only light source. You couldn't see anything outside the light. You moved a little there was a chair next to you but it just sat there. You looked around and sighed. "Guess that's my seat?" You felt a rush of air brush you. "I'll take that as a yes..." You plant your rump in the chair and wait. "Well I guess I got nothing better to do..." You felt a thump in your chest. Looking down you felt your heart barely beat. It was so slow and soft. You moved a hoof up to your mouth. It was taped over and was sealed tight. You moved your hoof lower to your chest. Sure enough it was very slow and weak. You tried to feel the bond with Luna but nothing was there. A figured stepped into the light. It wore a robe that was pure black and was very hard to see if it hadn't been for its shadow. Another gust of wind hit you. "Fine... I'll sit down..." You planted your rump on the chair and propped your head on one of your hooves. "You know you caused a lot of ruckus these past few weeks... We have been watching you..." You rolled your eyes and huffed. "I got things to do so can I leave?" You felt a whispers pass your ears. You scratched your ears and flapped them to get the sounds out. They didn't quit. "You can't leave... You’re stuck here..." The figure said in a raspier tone. You turned around nothing else stood in the light. "So who is 'we' and where is here?" The figure turned its head slightly to stare at something in the distance. You follow its gaze and see another light on. Another figure stood there but it was really hard to miss. Your mother stood there with a smile. You turn to the figure again. Its gaze shifted in another direction. You look over to see your father with a deathly stare. You cringed a little. Turning back to the figure it reached up to its hood. It stopped after revealing a muzzle. It had a rather weird smile. But what scared you was that the muzzle was nothing but bone. "Would you like to see more?" It said its voice had changed again this time into a more feminine tone. You shook your head and stood up. "I'm out of here..." A force pushed you back into the chair and ropes tied you down. The tape on your mouth pressed harder on your skin. "You are not going anywhere until you decide..." 'Decide what?' You wonder. A muffled sound escaped the tape but if wasn't very understandable. "You know what you need to decide... You are at war..." 'War?' "Yes war... With yourself... You body is tearing itself apart... You need to do something now..." You looked at the figure as it faded into the darkness. You turned to where the lights were and they faded as well. You close your eyes and forced them open hoping it was all just a dream. A hall had appeared in front of you. Looking to the walls you noticed pictures. Each of them was a part of your life. To the left you saw all the great memories. Glancing to the right you saw all the bad. Walking a few feet down you noticed the hallways stretched on very far. You felt a bump on your flank. "Walk... You must decide... Live through your life and pick... You cannot live like this anymore..." Again the figure pushed you and you moved along looking at each picture in turn. The figure moved to you side. One on each side now. "How many of you are there?" "Do not ask questions any more... Just walk..." "Fine... You know you could at least be nicer..." "We are not nice... We represent each of your emotions... You have none therefore we are nothing... The absence of all emotions is basically the same as rude but without the caring ability to give one single fuck..." You recognized those words to be your own. The hall stretched on. You stopped at some good memories and laughed at the pictures. The bad memories forced you to stop. Anger built up with each one. Slowly you felt something grow in your heart. It beat normally now. The bond was still missing but your felt at peace. You tried to stop letting your emotions take control. You were the absence of emotion as the rather weird pony had said. You looked one last time to the end of the hall there was a door but it was still a ways off. You looked left and saw each of the mares in your life. Stopping you looked left. Each of the hated ponies showed up as well. You saw your dad and bullies in school. You hadn't gone long but mom always wanted and educated child. "It is time..." The two figures shoved you through the door that had somehow manifested in front of you. Another black room. Slowly lights flickered on. In each spot light stood one of your loves. You smiled a little at each. They faded off and soon more lights turned on. This time displaying each of the hates in your life. You grimaced at the set and they soon faded into the darkness. "You want happiness... Right?" You nod at the figure who had stepped beside you. "You want hatred also... Right?" Again you nod. It was natural to feel both. "You can't live with both... You will die if it continues... Which do you want more?" "Happiness..." You say quickly. The figure bumps you making you walk into the darkness. "Very well..." A mysterious voice said in front of you. A light turned on and your mother sat quietly on the ground. You stepped into the light and smiled at her. "I am proud of you son... You must choose wisely though... With happiness can come dread and pain... With hatred can come pride and of course accomplishment..." You stare at the mare. "I don't understand..." You mom smiled at you. "Of course not dear... It will come to you eventually... Now pick..." You looked at her for a second. You opened your mouth to speak but another figure approached from behind you mom. It was your father, he looked the same as the day you left him on the floor to bleed out. You smiled at the thought. "That's right... Let the anger fill you... Let the pride and the warmth of some pony else’s pain fill you..." He circled around the light and smiled wickedly. You snarled at him when he approached. This made him stop midstride to regard you then he continued around. "Hun, you must choose one of us... We live you know..." Your mom said in a hushed tone as her eyes followed your father around the circle. "Your decision will decide the rest of your life... You can't escape us any longer... We live in you... We are a part of you..." You shake your head. "No! That is impossible! I KILLED YOU!" You scream at your father. He smiled. Somehow his form became more visible. He pointed to your mom she had faded a little. "Wha-what is happening?!" You yell with concern. "Whichever path you pick will stay and the other will be forever forgotten..." You run to her and hug her. "Don't leave... Please..." Her form became more visible and soon it was solid. You hugged tighter but fell over as she disappeared. "What? WHAT!?!" You cried out. "Where... WHERE DID SHE GO?!" Another robed figure appeared and beckoned you to follow. You didn't hesitate. Another hallway formed in front of you. You stopped. "I AM NOT DOING THIS AGAIN!" You yell at the robed pony. "Fine by us..." It jumped at you and pushed you back. You fell to the ground with a THUMP. You watched as more lights flicked on. You saw each of your loves again. They stood close to each other. You stood up and walked over. They all had beaming smiles on their faces. 'Windy... Fluttershy... MoonJade... Luna... Scarlet... Fern...' You looked at each one after another. "Hey..." They all moved closer and took a kiss in turn. "We love you... You know that right..." You nodded. "Windy why are you in the lineup?" You asked shaking a little. "I'm here..." She poked your chest. "I will always be there..." She smiled and faded away. You turned to the others. "Well... I can't have all of you..." They nod. "We know babe..." Jade said with a wink. "You need to pick... You can only have one of us..." You look at them each and felt your heart go out to each. You wanted them all but you couldn't have them all. "I can't... You turned away and started towards the blackness but once you lifted a hoof to enter it a wall stopped you. A figure walked out from where you were about to step. "No... You must choose... You must choose your mare..." The pony backed up into the darkness. You turned back to the mares. "I can't... I just can't choose... I love you all... I... I..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Celestia walked into Luna's room. "Hmmm... She said he was in here for a second... Where did he go?" She looked around and tried to find him. "Weird the guards said he entered and didn't come out so he has to be here..." The window was open but Celestia shook her head. "He can't fly..." She left the room and walked down the hall. A guard stepped in front of her. "Princess... Did you find him?" Celestia shook her head and pushed the guard to the side. "Search the castle... NOW!" Celestia roared and stormed off. Her hair began to spaz out. "FIND THAT SON OF A BITCH!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I... Can't have any of you... I don't deserve any of you..." Your mother walked out from the bleak and approached you. "You are right... You don't deserve them... You don't deserve to live... They love you for who you are though..." "We do... We love you very much!" Fluttershy said. "We want you to hold us... I want you more..." Jade said slyly with a flick of her tail. "You know it isn't as difficult a choice as you make it..." Fern said kissing you. "STOP! Please... I... I just can't take it... I don't want any of you... Yet i want all of you to be happy... I know the only way is to have me..." A soft hoof rested on your shoulder. Soon more joined in. "Good... You have taken the first step..." The hooves dissipated and another bleak form was standing in front of you. "Now you must go and live your life... Keep in mind of other's emotions... They are key to your happiness..." A force pushed you away from the light making you scream. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THUMP You hit the ground very hard. You were back in Luna's room. It hadn't changed but it was night time. You clutched your chest. The bond wasn't there anymore. You laughed hysterically. "It's gone!" You bent over and clutched your chest harder. A deep pain welled up inside. It burned very intensely. You stood up and tried to walk it off. You couldn't get far before falling down again. It gradually started to die down but you knew it would come back eventually. You got up and started to walk for the door but heard it begin to open. You paniced and looked around. The window next to the balcony was open and you crawled out. Testing a quick hoof hold you sighed in relief as you noticed a ledge and hopped onto it. The door slammed open as you ducked down. "Hmmm... She said he was in here for a second... Where did he go?" You heard Celestia say angrily. You sighed she probably knew about your night with Fern. "Weird the guards said he entered and didn't come out so he has to be here..." Your heart was beating faster as her voice grew louder. "He can't fly..." You heard hoof steps walk away from the window and the door slam behind her as she left. You look down and sighed again. It was a good thirty story drop to the ground. "Fuck me..." You slide back to the window and haul yourself back up and over. You looked around and ran to the bathroom. She moved up to your side and nuzzled you with her muzzle quickly before facing forward. As you walked the streets ponies stopped and bowed to the princess. You stopped as a white pony with a light pink mane stopped in front of you. "Sooo... You're the pony thats been dating the princess." She nodded to Luna and looked back to you. "It's finally nice to meet you..." Luna growled and stepped in front of you and held a hoof out blocking you. "He is mine Fluer please leave..." You looked at Luna. She seemed pretty ticked about something. You looked back to the white pony. She looked very amused at Luna. "Okay Luna... You win this round... See you later!" She flicked her tail at you with a sly smile before walking off. "Luna please move..." You pushed her hoof out of the way and kept on walking to the bar. Luna closed in behind you. As you approached the door Frost gave you a nod and opened thedoor for the princess. You followed Luna inside and Frost came in after. You looked over and noticed a large set up of speakers. You also noticed a turntable in the middle of the set and realized that the one and only DJ Pon-3 was going to be playing here tonight. You noticed a large cello sat in the corner. Vinyl never used instruments in her perfomances. A gray pony with a charcoal mane walked into view and walked to the cello. She picked up the bow and began to play a soft melody. A white mare with purple glasses walked in and began to fiddle with the large set up. You recognized her as Vinyl Scratch. You asked Luna to take a seat while you went to examine the large equipment. "So you're Vinyl Scratch..." The white mare poped up her blue mane bounced around. "No... Tonight I'm DJ Pon-3... Hey aren't you the new bouncer? Heard you replaced Ice... Sad to see him go he always enjoyed my music..." The white mare frowned and went back to playing with a few of the jacks. "Need some help?" Vinyl nidded and pointed to the speakers. "Plug those in and then make sure they work..." She said without lifting her head from her the console. "How will I know if they work?" Vinyl looked up and smiled. "Oh you'll know..." She dipped her head back down and yelped. "Damnit! Where is the wire at!" You stepped away and picked up the plug. A quick glance back to Luna made you nevrous. She sat at the bar talking with Fern. You shook your head and hoped that Fern wouldn't say anything. You looked at the plug in and sighed. 'Where do I put this?' You saw a cord running over with a few other cords attatched to it. You trotted over and stopped as the cord yanked you. It wouldn't go any further. You gave it a firm tug but stopped as the speaker began to sway. You laid the cord down and walked over to the jumble of wires trying to get it close enough to plug in. "Hey Vinyl... How am I suppose to get this in here... It's not long enough..." Vinyl popped her head up and looked over. "No no no... That plug in!" She pointed a hoof back over to where you were. Sitting there was another extension cord with nothing attatched to it. You face hoofed and walked back sticking it in the holes. A loud wail came from the speakers but it died down right after. "Guess it works..." Vinyl laughed along with the grey mare standing a few feet from the set up. You looked at her. You have never seen or heard of her before. "Who are you?" You asked the grey mare. She huffed and stoped playing. "I am Octavia... I'm a world class cello player... Vinyl offered me a quick job as usal before she would play tonight... Don't get me wrong I may play the cello but I do enjoy some of her music as well. No pony can resist a Vinyl record." You both chuckled at the pun she made. "Well Octavia do you know any fast paced songs?" She looked at you like you told her she was trash. She lifted her bow and placed it on the strings. She gave it a quick test and began to play slowly. It soon began to pick up pace and you almost dropped you jaw as her hooves moved in perfect synchronisation making a rather beautiful song. Fern and Luna looked up while Vinyl leaned against her turn tables. You all watched as she played a song similiar to Nightmare Moon went down to Equestria. You couldn't move a single bit until the song was done. She played each note in pefection if it ever existed. She picked up the pace. Faster and faster still. Every so often she accented a beat with a hard thump from her inner thigh making it resinate through the notes. After the song ended Octavia set the cello back against the wall and walked away with a huff. Your jaw was hanging open. You hadn't seen any pony play that fast with such grace. Vinyl walked up behind you and slapped you on the back. "Great ain't she?" You gave a small nod and picked your jaw up. "Here help me get the right beat." You turned around and gave her a crazed look. "What?" "You heard me! Help me get the beat!" You walked up to the turntables and placed a random record on it. You looked at her real quick. She smiled and nodded violently. You gsvre it a quick spin and then lowered the needle. A loud screech sounded from the speakers followed by a steady beat. Vinyl stepped up next to you and dropped aother disk onto the other table. She gave it a spin and placed the needle on. Another beat came out and countered the first. It sounded wierd at first but you gave your disk a quick scrath and it made it sound better. She pushed her needle down the disk and made a different beat. It was much faster and fit better. You pushed yours down and it changed yet again. You smiled a little as you made the weird sounding music. vinyl turned the power off and stepped down. "All right I got it! I got the perfect beat for tonight. Thanks!" She trotted off bobbing her head all the way. Luna looked up to you and beckonded you over with a quick hoof. You never bothered to ask why anymore. "I've got good news and bad..." Fern said. "The good news is that Vinyl and Octavia are playing tonight!" She pushed a mug to you. "The bad news is that Luna and I have come to an agreement." "Thats bad news?" Luna nodded. "We have a very serious agreement... You are to stay in the castle during week days and weekends you are to stay here and look after the bar..." She frowned at her words. With a bit of magic a muglifted to her lips. "Friends with benefits huh?" Luna an Fern nodded. "You know you should have consulted me first. I could have made a better deal." You took a sip yourself. "You see what I was thinking was--" The front doors opened and eight ponies barged in. "Oh thank Celestia we made it!" A fimiliar voice called out. You turned to see the girls and Jade. Big Mac stepped out from behind them and glared at you. You gave small wave which he snorted at. "Well... What do we have here?" Fern said with a bit of hate. "We have been looking around for some time... I guessed he would stop here..." You looked up to Jade. She seemed happier than usal. You gave a weak smile to her and Fluttershy. Fluttershy ran up and hugged you. "You shouldn't have left..." She whispered in your ear as she hugged tighter. "Good to see you to Shy..." You said trying to push her off. She gasped and backed up with an apology. "We got some news for you..." 'FUCK!' Jade said with a smile. "I got some news of my own but I would like to hear your's first..." You tell her with a frown. Jade hesitated at first but she soon gained confidence. "Wwll... You see..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You threw up for the fourth time. The toliet was on overflow and the handle didn't work. You grabbed the bottle next to you and downed the rest of what was left into your throat. You didn't care about it anymore. "Babe you okay?" Jade yelled to the door. "NO! I'll be out soon though!" "Take your time..." Fluttershy said quietly. There was a small conversation after that which you didn't pick up. You hit your head with your hoof over and over again. 'Fuck... I fucked up real big this time...' Before you tried to give your news Jade told you that she and Fluttershy were both pregnant. This is just the worst and best day of your life. 'Wait! Jade can't have foals...' "Jade!" "Yes?" She said walking in and closing the door behind her. "I thought you couldn't have foals?" She smiled. "I can't." You gave her a very dumbfounded look. "Then how are you pregnant?!?" She laughed. "You remember how the doctor said that there was an egg right?" You stopped and thought. You remembered a bit but not much. You gave a slight nod. " Well she took a needle and tok some of my skin cells... After a day she got the right things and said that the egg was ready for me... I didn't understand at first but then I realized she was helping me. Now I got a foal and technically your the father..." "Yeah I get that... Now I have some bad news for you..." He was very concerned for the stallion he saw in the hall. Celestia sighed again. She turned her head to the prince. He stepped back in horror. Her face had grown a unusally large smile. The fire glowed on her face giving it a menacing glare. She took a step towards her nephew. He backed up further. "Why don't you give your aunt Tia a hug?" "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" Prince Blueblood ran out of his aunt's room and didn't stop until he reached his own. Celestia's smile was a little wider than before. She trotted towards the window and pressed it open. It was still day but her curtains blocked all light coming in. Her wings spread out in a loud poof. She gave them a little testing flap. It felt good to use her wings. A few more flaps got her in the air and she began her steady sail around Canterlot. She knew every inch of the city, of course, but she had forgotten where the bar was. It didn't take her long to spot the bricked building with a nice little sign displaying a mug of ale. "Time for a hug mister..." Author's Note: Short and sweet but to the point!
