"Get up! Trixie commands you to awaken!" yelled Trixie in a annoyed voice. Carson just pulled the covers over his face and tried to go back to sleep. Trixie continued to shake his slumped body out of the couch.

Carson simply just replied, "Just 10 more minutes..."

Trixie was on the edge at that point. "TRIXIE COMMANDS YOU TO GET UP NOW!!!" she yelled as she used her magic to drag Carson off the couch. He landed with a loud thud.

"OW! Ok, ok! I'm up!" screamed Carson as he rubbed his head. He looked up at Trixie and immediately blushed. Normally, Trixie's cape would cover up most of her body, but she was not wearing it. All she had on was a tight, light-blue bra and extremely small underwear. Carson, being aroused by her appearance, didn't even notice that he was staring. However, Trixie does and she quickly covers herself up with her arms. Carson snaps out of it and apologizes.

"You better be sorry! Trixie does not allow just anypony to admire her like that!"

"This happens a lot in my world! How should I know that things work differently here?" yelled Carson. "Look, all I'm saying is that I'm sorry, ok?"

"Well..." thought Trixie. "I suppose I can't stay mad. Now come on, we have a show next week, and we must get ready! The first stop we must go to is..." Trixie let out a sigh. "Ponyville." Tacky name, thought Carson as he looked at Trixie with concern.

"You ok?"

"Yes, yes. Trixie is fine. Look. Can you do this trip for me?" asked Trixie in her sweetest voice she could manage. Carson nodded.

Trixie smiled. "Thank you." She then brought out a quill and paper and wrote down a list of items she wanted him to purchase. Carson tried to walk, but he was still not used to hooves for feet, and he fell to the ground. He slowly got up, small grains of dirt falling off the front of his face. Trixie noticed and giggled mockingly.

"Oh yes... Here, give me your hand." Carson lifted his hand to Trixie. She uses her magic to grab a stick. Carson held onto it and attempted to walk again with the help of the cane. It worked. Aside from being a little wobbly, he could easily walk. Carson took another look at the list Trixie drew for him. The list contained items. It listed fireworks, rope, a new sofa, some new sheets, and a cape favor from a pony named Rarity. The wagon arrived in front of Ponyville, but not so close as to have the towns ponies be able to see them. Carson nodded and left the wagon.

As soon as Carson stepped on Ponyville dirt, a pink pony with a curly, puffy mane and a festive jacket and pants, greeted him by popping out of nowhere. Carson, still not being used to walking on hooves, was easily pushed back by the sudden outburst. The pink pony laughed loudly and helped him up.

"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie! What's yours?" yelled the pony. Before Carson even had a chance to reply, Pinkie began chatting away.

"Are you new here? Where are you from? Manehatten? Ooooh! I love Manehatten! This one time, me and my friends visited there and then-"

"Look, uh... Pinkie," said Carson. "I'm not looking to make any friends alright? I'm just here to buy some supplies for-"

Pinkie quickly interrupted him. "Not looking for any friends!? But you need friends!!"

"I'm sorry, but I'm not interested."

"But-" she was ironically interrupted by another pony. This time, she had purple fur and was wearing a sweater, glasses, and a long skirt. She had a long, purple and magenta mane.

"Pinkie, why don't you go see if Applejack has anything fun planned for later?" Pinkie was gone before the other pony was even finished. "I'm so sorry, sir. She does that to a lot of new ponies." apologized the pony.

"No, no... It's fine."

The pony seemed to act shy towards him. Almost as if she had a crush on him. For a few seconds, Carson and the pony just stood looking at each other. The pony brushed her mane back as they stared at each other longer. Carson snapped out of it and blushed in embarrassment.

"Um... What's your name?"

"My name is Twilight Sparkle. You?"

"I'm Carson."

Twilight cocked her head to the side with a look of confusion. "I never heard of a name like that before. Where are you from?"

Carson was about to answer, but then he realized that telling them about humans would be easier said then done, and Carson wanted to get over with the shopping trip. "That's not important."

"Ok..? Hey, what's that you got there?" she asked as she grabbed the list out of his hands using her magic.

"Oh, just a list of stuff a friend asked me to get." explained Carson. Twilight browsed the items on the list.

"What do you need these for?" she asked. "Are you a magician?"

"Well, no," said Carson. "It's just for-"

"Do you need any help finding this stuff?" interrupted Twilight. "I know my way around town and I can help you."

Not seeing much problem with the offer, Carson agrees and they set off on their shopping spree. As they reached the market street, the first thing they searched for was fireworks. The market was extremely busy. Ponies were passing by each other, barely leaving any room in the process. Carson could not hear anything over the loud chattering of ponies. Twilight patted Carson shoulder and pointed towards a stand. It was decorated with signs of fireworks and other explosives. Twilight lightly pushed Carson towards the stand. Breathing in, he walked with his cane over to the stand. The pony behind it smiled.

"Hello, sir! Would you like something?"

"Um... Yeah. I would like some to buy fireworks for someone."

"Go ahead and choose! I got a huge selection! You're bound to find what you're looking for here."

Carson suddenly realized that he never asked Trixie the specific type of fireworks she wanted. And the huge selection of fire crackers did not help. Twilight could tell Carson was obviously having some trouble. But he began thinking that it wouldn't matter which one he chose to buy.

"That one," said Carson, pointing at the biggest one he could find.

"Good choice," said the cashier. "Just be careful with this one. Don't do it close to others. Could seriously hurt them." he said as he handed Carson the huge firecracker. It was much heavier than it looked. Twilight offered help, but was rejected by Carson as he stated that he was fine. Twilight shrugged and looked at the next thing on the list.
