The Scholar has removed himself from the world of Equestria as best he is able, to do the only thing left to him to do. Record events and interpret them as he is able. He hides away while Equestria rips itself apart, and watches and records, as bitterness rips at his heart... Will he be able to stay hidden, recording for future generations? Will he become an agent for the Rebels, sending them information and aid? Will he turn a traitor to Celestia and himself and side with one of the Houses? Or will his rage and sorrow consume him, and move him to take action, action that he knows would go against Celestia's wishes... Whatever he chooses, he will record it for future generations... And they will know a record of folly.
