Chapters Rain poured down on me as I walked with my golden retriever through the empty streets. Should have equipped myself better... I thought grimly. I was wearing my old blue t shirt,a pair of torn sneakers, a blue cap,cargo shorts and my trustworthy fanny pack.
I glanced at the sky and deduced that the rain would probably go on for a few hours. It ain't worth a cold I patted my dog and turned around to return to my humble home, but my dog wasn't budging.
"Whats wrong boy?" I knelt down and noticed that he was looking at something, so I followed his gaze. Standing a few feet away from us, was an old lady with a long white hair and she was dressed in a black dress.
What is an old lady doing in these parts? And I don't recall there being a funeral anywhere near I stood up and I politely tilted my cap in greeting.
"Need something Ma'am?" I asked, earning a soft smile from the lady.
"I just wanted to ask if you are willing to fulfill an old womans final wish" She spoke with a gentle tone. Thats a very strange thing to ask from a complete stranger
"I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but I will do my best" She smiled again and shakily walked towards me.
"Could you take this?" She stopped in front of me and raised her hand. Now that ain't something you see everyday Confusion echoed in my mind as I stared at the object in her palm.
It was a fist sized eye ball.
I turned my gaze towards the lady, who was smiling the entire time. I really hope that this isn't some voodoo shit..
"Its something my family made a long time ago" She looked at the strange eye ball, caressing it with her other hand as If remembering something. " But since I will soon leave this world, I wish for you to have it" It seems that she has lived a good life..
"I see no problem with that Ma'am" I smiled at her and gently took the eye ball from her palm. Strange...It feels like a real eye My train of thought was cut short when the old lady spoke again.
"Its called "The eye of the Smooze" " She nodded her head. " Take good care of it"
"I promise that I will" I put the eye in my pocket and prepared to take my leave, before the cold rain makes me sick.
"Enjoy your new world...Inheritor of the Smooze " I froze in place when the world around me started to blacken.
"What is the meaning of this?" I asked with a calm voice while I grabbed my dog and held him close. The woman just smiled and slowly backed away into the darkness.
"You will find out soon.. ." And with that she disappeared. Thats the last time I'm helping old ladies...
My dog glanced at me and whimpered as the darkness slowly surrounded us ."Don't worry I'm here" I whispered while I petted him. "Damn voodoo shit..." I narrowed my eyes at the surrounding darkness.
"But look at the bright side" I smiled at my dog." I'm probably the first black guy to ever visit another world" I joked. Then my thoughts wandered to a certain kid, who liked to spend time with me even thought I was just some old war veteran. I'm gonna miss my favorite black midget I solemnly thought.
It felt like hours had passed. The darkness still had us surrounded while I just stood there and waited for something to happen. Needle to say that I was getting sick of it.
"Darkness. Would you kindly fuck of?" I spoke to the darkness, my patience wearing thin."If you had a body I would whoop your black ass.....Now fuck of!" And then, like God himself was mocking me, The darkness turned into a very bright light.
"My eyes you goddamn jackass!" I clenched my eyes in pain and covered my dogs eyes with my cap.
After a minute or so, I slowly opened my eyes."Oh you must be kidding me.." I muttered as I scanned my surroundings.
We were standing in some kind of a dark forest, which looked like it belonged to a cartoon. " I'm going to beat that hags ass so hard, I could use it as a fist shaped mold to make gingerbreads."I lowered my companion to the ground and took his leash.
"It looks like we are on our own" I sighed and moved my hand to rub my temples, but stopped when I noticed something.
The eye was stuck in my palm. " Aw hell no" I slowly touched it with my other hand, getting nothing. I tried to rip it of, but it wouldn't budge. I sighed again. I wasn't actually worried about it at all, after all I had seen the horrors of Vietnam. One thing that I learned in the military was to never panic, so I disregarded the weird eye as some strange voodoo stuff.
I stared walking forwards with my faithful companion, hoping of getting out of this weird forest as soon as possible. We made our way through the forest fauna. I could hear the cries of different animals echo in the forest, but I didn't really pay any attention to them, until I heard a very human like laughter.
"Stay close to me. Cant have anything bad happen to my companion" I petted my dog. We began to sprint towards the voice, passing through trees and forest critters. I could see the light peeking from the distance and with a final push we left the forest and entered a clearing. "It isn't easy being a sixty year old" I panted and directed my gaze towards the clearing.
It was a dirt field with many different shaped holes on it, but what caught my attention the most were the creatures standing at the middle. They looked like a bunch of bipedal dogs and they were wearing some kind of vests. They seemed to be talking with someone, so I narrowed eyes and spotted a white pony with a horn.
Cartoon unicorns and bipedal dogs... I internally sighed.
The dogs had chained the trashing equine and were in the process of laughing at its misfortune. I turned towards my dog. "Stay" I ordered and started to make my way towards them.
Its time to intervine
Look at me. I just got to this new world and already I'm ready to set things right. I chuckled as I slowly walked and cracked my knuckles.
Its time to do this the old way.
Nothing can stop the Smooze
The dogs, unaware that I was walking towards them, knocked the trashing pony out by hitting her in the head.
"Take the pony to the mines!" The red vested one shouted with a scratchy voice. Slavery... I frowned and cleared my throat.
"Am I interrupting something?" Their ears perked up and they slowly turned to face me.
"Who interru-" The red one started, but stopped when he noticed me. "What in the mines are you!?" The dog asked with wide eyes and baked away a little.
"Someone whose going to beat your sorry ass if you don't release that pony" I crossed my arms, The dogs narrowed their eyes.
"This pony belongs to the Diamond Dogs!" Diamond Dogs? What a fitting name " Go find your own pony!" I scratched my head and sighed .
"Look. It doesn't have to be this way" The dog whistled, resulting in multiple other dogs jumping out from the holes with armors and spears at ready.
"I will take that as a no then..." I muttered.
Smooze...
Aw shit... I shook my head to clear my thoughts. No time to think about that right now The first armored dog charged at me, intending to pierce me with its spear.
"You need to get your ass kicked" I sidestepped and grabbed the dogs spear with my right hand " Hard" My left fist struck the dog square in the face, causing it to fall on the ground clenching its face in pain.
"How can this thing punch so hard!" The dog whined.
"I'm just too real for you" I took the dogs helmet off and kicked it on the head, Knocking it out cold. The remaining six armored ones lunged at me, but I was ready. I quickly lifted the relatively light dog by the leg and threw it towards the advancing mob. They didn't have enough time to react as their comrade crashed on top of them.
"What are you fools doing!?" The red vest shouted in anger."Get him!" They clumsily got up and growled at me.
Have...you...heard...the news? I hope that this doesn't get out off control... My thought were interrupted when a pair of arms emerged from the ground and grabbed my legs, effectively stopping my movements. Oh Shit! I tried to punch them,but failed when a dog body slammed against me at full force,knocking the wind out of me and almost causing me to fall.I hastily regained my bearings and countered by punching the dog in the gut several times.
"Ow.." The dog blurted out and fell to the ground.
"Stop Him!Stop Him!" Red vest shouted as more dogs emerged from the holes. Theres no end to these shit bags! I picked up the fallen spear and with a swift motion pierced one of the hands holding me . The hands immediately loosened their grip and went underground . I glanced at the surrounding pack of angry and armed dogs There must be at least forty of them
Nothing can stop the Smooze! Well fuck me...
Bow-bow bow bow-bow bow bow-bow~
Suddenly a purple slime like liquid shot from my palm. Shit this hurts! I fell to my knees while the slime landed on the ground.
"Wh-whats that!?" Red vest shouted in fear, the others readied their spears. "Look boss!" A dog shouted while pointing at the slime.
Multiple eyes bulged from the slime, their gaze directed towards the dogs. I'm starting to feel sick
"Do something!" Panic oozed from the red vests words. The dogs threw their spears towards the slime in hopes of stopping it before it did something . The spears struck the slime. The dogs smiled in victory, but that quickly turned into shock when they noticed that their spears were being sucked inside the slime.
Don't.. even.. try!
"ShieldmeShieldmeShieldm-" Red vest didn't have enough time to finish his plea for help when the purple fist hit him and every other dog in the area, sending them sailing though the sky, some of them crashing against a rocky hillside.
"I think I'm going to pass out if this continues.." I slowly and shakily stood up.
"Oi! You there" I yelled at the slime,its eyes turning to stare at me. " I don't know what the hell you are, but.." I pointed at the glowing eye " Get your ass back here before you suck me dry!" I commanded resulting in a moment of absolute silence, the only sound being the falling dogs.
Bow-bow bow bow-bow bow bow-bow... I'm glad to know that a slime thing lives inside my palm.. I slowly turned my gaze towards my palm. The slime was gone and the glowing had stopped.
"I was supposed to just beat three dogs and save a pony, but things just had to escalate quickly" My entire body was sore and my head was throbbing."You can come now!" I shouted at my dog, who in return barked and made his way towards me.
"Look at this mess" I motioned at the dirt field, which was now littered with unconscious dogs. " Didn't see that coming,did you?" I patted him. " Lets see if the pony is fine" We walked towards the pony who was fast asleep.
"Now then..." I knelt down and lightly shook the sleeping equine.
"Not now Sweetie..." The pony muttered.
"Are you alright young lady?" The pony yawned and slowly opened her eyes.
"Oh Sweetie I just had the weirdest.... dream..." She trailed of when she saw my looming figure.
"Please do not panic. I can explain-" I tried to calm the pony, but then she panicked.
"AAAH! Somepony help me! Theres a big black monkey who wants to steal my gems!" And with that she fainted.
"You are welcome.." I muttered and gently picked her up,she was about the same size as my dog so it was pretty easy." Lets hope that not everyone faints when they see me" My dog barked in response.
"Look at that" I pointed at a dirt road in the distance."Dirt roads always lead to civilization. Lets leave before these mutated dogs wake up" We started to slowly walk away from the dirt field, me carrying the sleeping pony.
"Heh..Never thought that I would be carrying a talking pony in my arms.." I glanced at the sky and noticed that the sun was already lowering.
"Here we go again partner"My dog yawned and leaned against my side.
With that we walked towards the sunset.
The moon illuminated our path as we made our way in silence, me carrying the still unconscious pony. Truly I'm too old for this.. I was very tired and it didn't make my mood any better. Well.. at least the moon lights our path I glanced at the full moon and smiled And its also quite the eye catcher. My smile quickly faded however when I spotted a fast approaching cloud moving towards my only source of light.
"Don't you dare.." I narrowed my eyes,daring the cloud to ruin my day even more.Needles to say that my threat did nothing when the cloud ever so slowly covered to moon. The light slowly disappeared giving way to the thing I have grown to hate the most.
Darkness.
"Darkness...How kind of you to show up" To another person it might have looked like I was talking to myself."But the thing is that you are blocking my vision and I don't feel like arguing right now" Normally I don't speak with the forces of nature, but I was so tired right now and couldn't even think straight." So please leave now.." I sounded like a drunkard.
The darkness had no intention of moving away.
"You know.." I started to walk faster."Some people say that its better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.." My dog barked as we fastened our pace.
"But I say.." I went silent, the only sound being the panting of my dog. I covered the equines ears with my free hand and sighed.
"FUCK YOU DARKNESS! JUST WAIT TILL I WHOOP YOUR ASS!" I blindly ran towards the darkness,planning to strangle it with my bear hands " CHARGE!" I could feel that we were still on the road, but didn't give it much of a thought. There were more pressing matters after all.
"STOP! YOU BLACK ABOMINATION!STOOOOP!"
Ponyville
Perspective Change
Note Pad was happily walking along the empty streets of Ponyville, his horn giving him enough light to safely travel through the darkness.
"Hmm...I wonder why such a big cloud was scheduled at the middle of the night? I thought that Princess Luna always wanted to keep the nights clear" He spoke aloud while turning his gaze towards the sky.
"DARKNEEEEESS!"
He froze in place when he heard a shout of pure rage. W-what was that!? He started to hear the noise of fast approaching hoof steps.
"Somepony there!?" He trembled in fear as the hoof steps came closer and closer.
A towering black bipedal ape and a weird looking dog were running towards him at full speeds.
"AAAAAAH!" He screamed in pure horror and tried to run away, but in his panic he tripped and fell face down on the dirt. NONONONONONO! He curled into a ball and shivered like there was no end.
Perspective Change
After running like a madman for minutes, I finally noticed that I had entered a village and the now shivering unicorn laying on the ground.I should calm down...This world is making an old man like me insane I sighed and knelt down.
"Excuse me" I spoke to the unicorns in hopes of calming him down.
"Please don't eat me! I have some fruits in my house if you want!" The unicorn whimpered and I sighed again.
"I'm not going to eat you" I patted him on the pack." All I ask you is that could you direct me to the nearest hospital?" I motioned at the pony I was carrying " I need to take her to a hospital" The unicorn glanced at the pony.
"Lady Rarity?" The unicorn had a look of confusion.
"You know her?" He nodded.
"She is the local seamstress" I scratched my beard in thought.
"Whats your name kid?"
"N-Note Pad.." He timidly responded. Hes most likely still scared as hell...
"Note Pad. Can you show me the way?" I offered him my hand. He stared at it,presumably thinking if I would hurt him, but after a moment of staring he took it and I lifted him up.
"Its a few blocks away from here, just go straight and you will find it" I smiled in gratitude.
"Thank you for your cooperation" I nodded my head and stared to walk away from him.
"Before you go, Could you tell me what in Equestria are you?" He called out. I turned my head and waved at him.
"You will probably find out soon" And with that I made my way towards the hospital.
Ponyville Hospital
I stared at the white building.This has to be the place.. My vision faltered for a second I better be quick I entered the building trough the automatic doors and strolled towards the reception desk, where a bored looking white pony with a red cross as mark and a nurse cap, was reading a magazine at the moment.
Without asking, I laid the pony on the desk with a loud *Thump*.
"Shes unconscious and probably has a minor head injury" The nurse gasped at the sight."You should take her in and check if shes alright" She turned her gaze towards me and her eyes widened in surprise." Don't ask" I tiredly said. She looked at the pony and nodded her head."Thanks" I turned to leave.
"Wait!" The nurse stopped me.
"Yes?"
"Thank you for bringing her here" She smiled at me, the first smile I have received in this new world " Her friends have been worried sick"
"Its nothing,I just did what any good person would have done" She moved "Rarity" to a bed with wheels.
"Rarity would love to hear the name of her savior" Hmm...I probably shouldn't give her my real name just yet..Wait...What did that old hag call me again?
"Just tell her that the "Inheritor of Smooze" saved her" Yeah.. thats what the old lady called me before I got sent here..
She looked at me with confusion for a moment, but nodded her head." I will make sure to tell her when she wakes up" I nodded my head in response and made my way towards the door. Come to think of it..Didn't the slime mention something about the "Smooze?" I shook my head. Better leave it for tomorrow I yawned and went outside with my dog.
Now to look for a cozy space to sleep... I noticed a park bench in the distance and walked towards it.
Not the best sleeping place, but for me its heaven.. I though as I laid down on the bench, my dog sleeping under it.
The locals are probably going to freak out when they see me, but thats tomorrows trouble..
I yawned and fell asleep.
"Are you sure about this Scootaloo?" My eyes shot open when I heard the voice of a young child, the only problem being that my vision was being blocked by something.
"Relax Sweetie Belle" I could hear my dog snoring peacefully under the bench.
"When this monster wakes up, its gonna have a very nasty surprise!" Kids... "Applebloom! Did you bring the rope?"
"Ah sure did!" A southern accent responded."But shouldn't we hog tie it before it wakes up?"
"Wouldn't it be much cooler to capture it when its awake?" That logic will someday be your downfall kid "Besides. The onions on its eyes will blind it, so this will be easy!" Onions? I sniffed the air and sure enough the strong smell of onions filled the air."It will be too busy crying its eyes out" I remembered this prank. It was something that the boys in the military did to me a long time ago. Did it work back then? Absolutely not.
"If you say so Scoots.." Its time for a little lecture..
"You know" The kids yelped in surprise when I spoke,but I ignored them and continued."Theres one thing you need to know about cooking" I said while lying peacefully on the bench, the onions still on my eyes.
" I love cooking.....I do it when I..........when I just wanna clear my mind...take a rest of things....you know?Get busy, running around like a chicken with your head cut of. I love slicing stuff.........I love stirring stuff in the pan.........I love making great sauce........sometimes when I'm stirring the sauce......Its like watching the world go around......and I'm making it go around.." I chuckled "Put it in the sauce pan. Let it simmer.....for a looong time........" I sighed, remembering the good times " And heres one last word on onions..." I slowly grabbed the onions and lifted myself up from the bench, my eyes closed."Onions don't make me cry.." I turned towards the kids and slowly opened my eyes. " They make me smile.." I crushed the onions and dropped them on the ground.
Standing there, or rather, shivering uncontrollably where three fillies. One had wings, a purple mane and a orange coat. The unicorn had a grayish mulberry mane and a white coat. The last one had a yellow coat and a red mane with a red bow.
"AAAAAAAH!" They screamed at the same time. I laughed and knelt down.
"So who are you three midgets?" I whistled,waking my dog up " Monster hunters?" I chuckled, they were still shivering.
"Its gonna hurt us!" The orange one cried out. The fourth time that these ponies think that I would hurt them...
"If I wanted to hurt you, I would have already kicked your asses....hard " Their eyes widened and I chuckled again. "But I have no intention of doing that,I'm not really into violence unless I absolutely have to." I patted the orange ones head " You don't happen to be the embodiments of darkness?" I quickly asked, they rapidly shook their heads "Good.." I stood up and gazed at the park.
The park was absolutely empty. Strange..Parks are usually full of activity in the morning With a raised brow I turned towards the fillies. "Where is everyone?"
"Everypony is at the town hall" The white one gathered enough courage to answer me."Princess Celestia is supposed to show up" Princess Celestia?
"I see.." I rubbed my beard."Then why are here?" She looked at the orange one and sighed.
"Scootaloo saw you and said that It would be more important to capture you.." Scootaloo bowed her head down in shame.
"Yeah..Sorry about that" She apologized.
"No harm done kid, so what are the rest of you called?" I pointed at the yellow and the white one.
"I'm Sweetie Belle and this is.." She turned motioned towards the quiet yellow filly "Applebloom" Applebloom stepped forward.
"So..Who and what are you mister?" She asked with a slight tinge of fear.
"You fillies can call me "The Inheritor of the Smooze" For the time being" I pointed at the eye in my palm.
"Cool.." Scootaloos eyes sparkled with curiosity while the others yelped in surprise again.
"And I'm a human" The fillies were about to say something, but stopped when my dog barked."Hes my companion. Don't worry he wont bite." I petted him.
"I assume that you don't have humans here,do you?" They shook their heads again and I sighed. Should have already known that..
"Could you fillies guide me to the town hall? I need to speak with this "Celestia" " The fillies finally smiled.
"Ah see no problem with that!You been really kind to us even thought we were going to capture you" Applebloom giggled as my dog licked her face.
"Yeah! And I think you are really cool with that eye thing!" Scootaloo fluttered her tiny winds.
"Its decided then! We will take you to meet Princess Celestia" Sweetie Belle bounced up and down.
"You have my thanks" I tipped my cap.
"Okay! Just follow us" The fillies started to make their way towards the town hall while I followed them.
The streets of the village where completely empty. They must be at the town hall already " So how to I get to talk with Celestia without causing chaos?" Applebloom had a confused look.
"What do you mean?"
"My appearance" I pointed at myself "I saw how you girls freaked out, just imagine the whole village doing the same"
"Oh yeah..." Applebloom turned to face the others."How are we going to do that?"
"I know!" Scootaloo fluttered her wings again."All we have to do is bring the Princess here!"
"Thats a great Idea Scoots!" Sweetie Belle complimented.
"Are you sure that the Princess is going to listen a bunch of fillies?" I asked, unsure about this course of action.
"I'm sure that she will! Come on girls, lets go!" I was about to wish them good luck, but stopped when a new voice interrupted the fillies.
"Theres no need for that" I turned towards the voice.
A horse with a white coat and a mane with all the colors of the rainbow gracefully landed in front of us. This must be Celestia.. She had both wings and a horn. She was also wearing a some kind of tiara and stood at my height.
"Princess Celestia!" The fillies shouted at the same time.
She smiled at the fillies and turned her gaze towards me. Her face took a stoic look as she stared at me,probably trying to intimidate me.
"Greeting Princess Celestia" I tipped my cap.
No response.
Alright... " Something wrong?" I questioned.
"Are you the Inheritor of the Smooze?" She asked, her eyes narrowing slightly. Did the nurse tell her? If so she must know that I saved Rarity, but why do I get the feeling that shes not here to thank me?
"That would be me" Her horn flared up as a response.
"Then I have to stop you,before you cause any harm with the Smooze!" Aw hell no..
"Listen for a second ma'am" I motioned for my dog to go to the side."I would be happy if you got this thing out of my palm, but I really doubt that.." I pointed at the eye"This Smooze thing is going to let you do that, so I suggest that we talk this through like adults" She narrowed her eyes.
"I also hate senseless violence, but theres is no other choice!The elements aren't here at the moment so I have to destroy the host of the Smooze myself" I sighed
" You see...I always planned to die with my boots on, but being killed by a cartoon horse.." I rubbed my beard " Not really" Here we go again..
"You are kind of making me the bad guy here" Her face faltered for a moment."This is one hell of a first contact ma'am" Her wings flared up.
"I'm truly sorry, but Its for the good of ponykind" I made sure that no one was around.
"Okay.." I tightened my fanny pack and readjusted my cap.
"Lets dance"

The Smooze slowly advanced towards the royal castle, covering the grassy plains with its purple ooze, an army of corrupted ponies marching in front of it.
"At last... " The voice of the Smooze echoed, its eyes gazing at the fast approaching castle.
A pegasi garbed in a purple armor hovered alongside the Smooze. " How should we proceed, Lord Smooze?" His coat was littered with purple spots, a sign of being corrupted by the Smooze.
The eyes of the Smooze turned towards the pegasi." Prepare.. " The pegasi bowed his head and flew down.
"It ends here... " A gurgling laughter echoed from the Smooze. The Unicorns stepped forward, their horns glowing."Corrupt... " The pegasi took to the sky "Everything.. " The earth ponies pawed the ground and snarled "Nothing can stop the Smooze! "
"For The Smooze!" The army charged towards the castle, but stopped when a bright light suddenly appeared in front of them.
"What is the meaning of this!?" The pegasi shouted in rage and covered his eyes.
The light cleared, revealing two alicorns. The one at the left was a mare. She had a white coat,a flowing red mane and red eyes.The other one was a stallion with a blue coat, a starry mane and blue eyes.
"King Artemis and Queen Galaxia!" The pegasi growled. " Did you come from the safety of your castle to surrender?Or do you foolishly believe that you stand a chance against Lord Smooze? " He smirked.
"I'm deeply saddened" The King spoke while staring at the pegasi " I couldn't even protect my own subjects from the corruption of the Smooze" He solemnly stated.
The Queen stepped forward " We will stop the corruption from spreading. The elements may not work against the Smooze, but we have to stop it no matter what the cost" The corrupted ponies pawed the ground in anger.
"You dare to defy Lord Smooze!?"
"Corruption of our Lord is a gift!"
"Bring it!"
"We will rip those crowns off!"
"Let me show them!"
"Servants.. " The Smooze called out, causing the ponies to shut their mouths and turn towards their lord.
"Ye-yes my Lord?" A unicorn asked while bowing his head, the others following suit.
"Dispose.. " They smiled wickedly and turned towards the royals.
"Charge!"
Inside The Castle
"Celly...." a young Luna glanced at her sister, who was looking out of the window with a worried expression."When are mommy and daddy going to return?" The young princess shook her head and turned towards Luna.
"I don't know Lulu.." Luna sighed in response.
"I hope they are alright.." She whimpered, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Don't worry Lulu. I'm sure that they will be fine" Celestia tried to comfort her little sister.
"Doesn't that monster have any feelings?" Celestia glanced at the window again.
"The Smooze is only able to express rage,malice and it only has a limited intelligence" She frowned "Its only purpose is to corrupt everything...." Luna's eyes widened in fear.
"But don't worry! Mother and Father will definitely stop it" She flashed her younger sister a confident smile.
"I hope so Celly.." Luna lowered her gaze.
I hope so too Luna... Celestia thought as she noticed the Smooze in the distance.
Grass Plains
An earth pony fell on the ground, unconscious. The king and queen had managed to blast anyone who came close, with accurate and fast magical attacks.
"If we cannot get close to them, we shall use long rage attacks!" The pegasi motioned towards the unicorns " Fire!"
The unicorns fired a barrage of arcane bolts towards the royals.
The queens horn glowed bright and a yellow bubble shaped shield was summoned, protecting them as the bolts crashed into it.
"Use more power!" More and more bolts were fired, but they didn't even manage to make a single crack to the shield.
"Pegasi dive bombard them!" The pegasi charged from the sky at break neck speeds.They crashed against it, but like the unicorns, didn't do any damage to it.
"I cannot believed this!" The pegasi growled in frustration."They are just pesky royals!"
"Don't even try... " The Smooze started to advance towards the royals like a flood.
"Move out of the way you fools! We shall let Lord Smooze to deal with these rulers.." The unicorns teleported away while the pegasi lifted the earth ponies up.
"Smooze.. " Multiple oozy hands emerged from the Smooze, its eyes staring at the rulers "So small... " The Smooze rose like a massive tsunami, intending in destroying the shield with pressure.
The King and queen flared their wings and flew up just before the Smooze came down with a massive force. They fired several powerful blast towards the gargantuan, but it ended up being useless when they were sucked inside the Smooze.

"As I thought.." The king spoke. "Our magic has no effect on the Smooze " The Queen glanced at the castle.
"We must act quick before it reaches the castle" The King nodded.
"This will secure that our daughters and subjects will have a bright future" They closed their eyes and their horns began to glow.
"What is that!?" The nearby corrupted pegasi shouted in rage as the King and Queen were surrounded by a bright light.
"Bright.. " A portal opened right in front of the Smooze.
"Could it be?" The pegasi directed his gaze towards the sun. There was a tiny black speck in the sun." They are planning to send Lord Smooze to the sun!" He shouted in horror.
The Smooze quickly grabbed the hooves of the two alicorns with its stretched arms. They didn't even flinch.
"Impossible.." The pegasi was sweating bullets." They wont break their concentration....." The Smooze started to slowly pull them down.
"They are determined to send Lord Smooze to the sun even if they are dragged with him!"
"You cant stop me! "
Celestia and Luna stared in shock from the window while their parents were pulled down by the Smooze.
"Daddy! Mommy!" Luna cried.
"Don't leave us!" Celestia was also crying.
The King and Queen turned their heads and smiled.
"Dont worry.. you are safe now" They said at the same time.
The portal started to suck the Smooze in.
"IMPOSSIBLE! "
"And remember that we will alway be watching" Were their final words.
The portal pulled the Smooze in along with the rulers.
A purple shock way erupted from the sun and those who were corrupted returned to normal.
Celestia and Luna cried in sorrow.
SHE HAS MAGIC! I panicked inside my mind while dodging another ball of light that Celestia shot towards me.How perfect I muttered internally and glared at Celestia.
"Lady! Are you accusing me of black magic?" I demanded pointing a finger at her."I must tell you that I'm half Mexican!"
Her glare intensified.
This could have all been avoided if I just didn't leave my house! My internal rambling was stopped when a golden aura suddenly covered my body. Now thats just downright disrespectful... I thought as I was lifted from the ground.I tried to wiggle my body out of the spell,but then realized that I couldn't move at all. A paralyzing spell? Maybe she was willing to discuss this through after all.
"Celestia you have to calm down!" Her eyes stared to glow.".... Does that mean we can talk this through?" I asked with a sheepish smile.
I was proven very wrong when she reared her head back and with a swift motion, threw me towards the sky.
"Celestia! You.Goddamn.Jackaaaass! " I shouted as I soared trough the sky,spinning uncontrollably. I desperately tried to focus my gaze to see where I was going to land.Please God!Let there be something that cushions my fall!

"Curse you Go-!" I crashed back first into the wall before I could finish my sentence.Needles to say that the wooden wall did little to cushion my fall. "That..hurt.." I muttered as I fell to the ground,accompanied by an unceremonial *thump*. Did I say that violence doesn't solve anything? Scratch that, I'm making an exception this time. She needs to get a proper ass kicking.
I slowly got up, massaging my sore back while Celestia teleported closer to me, her eyes still glowing. " The eagle has landed" I said while carefully dusting my fanny pack." And its not happy" She started to charge up another spell as a response.She is literally blinded by her own rage. I rubbed my beard in thought.So the best stragedy for now is to.. I turned side ways,facing the road.
"Advance in another direction!" I started to run away,dodging a projectile in the process, in a zig zag motion from her as fast as I could. Given how sore my body was at the moment it wasn't exactly easy.
"You shall not escape! " Celestia's voice boomed behind me,but I didn't stop.
I have to think how to stop her. I winced in pain. My stamina was really low at the moment.
"That was so cool!" A voice sounded from my right side. I turned my head towards the voice,noticing that Scootaloo was running beside me.
"Not now." I replied and faced the road again. But what should I do? I ca.... My mind froze
"Scootaloo!?" I blurted out in surprise as my gaze snapped towards her."What are you doing here!? Its dangerous!"
"You are actually fighting the princess!" She ignored my outburst." I cant wait to tell my parents!" She fluttered her tiny wings.
"Now isn't the time to admire me! Go to your friends and stay there!" I scolded her causing her ears to drop.
"Aww.." I narrowed my eyes." Fine.." She muttered and ran to the her friends who were watching in awe and horror.
I sighed and resumed my thinking. I cant keep running for much longer anymore. I have to do something.....wait a second! The perfect idea struck me.I opened my fanny pack and pulled out a small metallic device.Pepper spray. To think that I almost forgot this little fellow. I stopped running, my back still facing Celestia.
"You pissed off the wrong senior citizen!" I pointed out to her.
"Enough! " Celestia yelled in fury and teleported right behind my back, intending to blast me away. "It ends here!
I quickly spun around, the pepper spray aimed towards her eyes."Indeed it ends!" Before she had the time to react, I unleashed the full might of the pepper spray straight into her eyes.
She stumbled backwards, screaming in pain and covering her eyes with her hooves."What is this!?" Her voice had returned to normal.
"A device that humans use for self defense" I returned the spray to my fanny pack and continued."Its good at blinding attackers" She tried to open her eyes, but failed miserably.
"No! I wont let the Smooze get away!" She turned around to buck me.
Now normally I don't like showing off. But this time I couldn't help, but to do a little moon walk to dodge her desperate buck.
"Hee-Hee!" Power to you Jackson. What? I may be old, but that doesn't mean I cant have some fun from time to time.I whistled for my dog to come."When you find a way to get this thing out of my hand without the use of violence, come and find me" I said to Celestia and turned to leave.
"For the good of this land, I have stop you.." She rubbed her eyes in pain,but seemed to have calmed down.She probably realized that fighting back doesn't exactly work when your eyes are out of commission "Please understand that.." I sighed in response.
"Lady.If you attack me the next time we meet, I will get a baseball bat and shove it up your regal ass to get the message across..." I started to walk away. "Till we meet again Celestia." I hope that shes more cooperative the next time..
Sweetie bell and Applebloom ran towards the princess to possibly check if shes alright, but I ignored them and continued to walk away.Now thanks to that,I have an entire country after me.. I turned towards my dog. "Lets get out of here before the princess regains her vision"He barked and I smiled. Well..At least my best friend will keep me company..
