Chapters "It must have been a hard, but can you tell me anything about the pony that did it?" Twilight had asked me again. I had to keep telling her that I hadn't; it was starting to weigh down on my mood.
"Twilight" -I sighed again- "the pony was wearing a mask and hat, please, can I go home and sleep now," I plead faking how tired I was.
"I'll escort you home, just in case…" she trailed off not wanting to say anything."In case that pony tries to kill you."
"Thank you, Twilight" she lead me home while I sulked. You're probably asking yourself by now what is going on; my name is Octavia, I'm a Cellist who lives- "had lived" - in Ponyville with my best friend Vinyl Scratch.
After getting me home Twilight had told me she was going to have at least one of the Elements of Harmony watching my house at all times; all within screaming distance. Once she was gone I descended the stairs to the basement; the place where it had all started.
The memory was still raw in my heart; just like the interjecting voice was taring at my mind. This was where I had nearly been killed and was made to watch as Vinyl Scratch was killed, and it was just a warning.
I still felt uneasy while trying to convince myself to continue to search for an answer to why; why had Vinyl been killed? I knew my thoughts were wandering to my best friend- "more like lover" - that voice again.
The voice was right despite how much the words it said hurt; we were living together and had gotten curious. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened and only a little bit of an imagination to figure out how but I digress…
That thing that had killed Vinyl wasn't what I would call a pony; I don't know what it was. When it had spoke to me after the act was completed it's voice was nothing more than harsh whispers, "Keep searching and I'll do worse to you."That voice wasn't pony when it bashed Vinyl's skull in.
I felt a pain in my neck and put a shaking hoof to the two small cuts that were there; they felt like they were on fire every time I thought of them. I don't know when I had got them but with them came a sudden sickness; I couldn't go out in the sunlight for to long because it would start to hurt. I had tried sunscreen, staying to the shadows, and even jumping into a pond wouldn't stop the pain.
I couldn't stand being in the basement any longer and went up the stairs headed for my library; when I opened the door my heart stopped at seeing the impossible.
"Are you up for a round tonight, Octy?" I didn't know what I wanted to think; I just told myself that I was seeing things. In front of me was the dead Vinyl looking as if she had just woken from a night of rest; something felt off. When she moved I could feel my heart pound hard in my chest; the mirror was empty of her form. I screamed out in a sudden fit of terror.
Or at least I had tried to; she had her hoof in my mouth and was leaning in close to me with a sharp whisper "you're dense, Octy. How long have we been living together?" - "almost two years" - "and how long have we been marefriends?" - "seven months" - "well?" I didn't answer and felt the two cuts scream in agony; I was trembling.
When I didn't answer she suddenly snapped and grabbed my foreleg; I broke from her grip by some miracle and ran for a hiding place. I hid in my room, under the bed, with my eyes covered and closed tightly; I hoped that would prot- "I can smell you Octavia" - my full name, she was mad. I held my breath as she came into the room; she left and I let out the same breath.
"Nice try, Octy" I was ripped from under the bed and forced onto it; she had a powerful grip as she pinned me to the bed. I couldn't scream from the sudden terror; her fangs were just as white as her coat if they weren't whiter. I trembled under her when she started kissing my neck; perfectly on the wounds "you have such a velvety coat." I was trying desperately to break from her grip, and then I felt it.
She bit into my neck hard; a scream was caught in my throat at this pain. I could feel the blood draining from the wound as her teeth left the bite. She was looking down at me; her eyes were red… and hungry. I was desperate for the pain to stop and hoped I could snap her out of it; I kissed her hard almost gagging on the blood. I lost the kiss shorty after and stared up at her with glassy eyes.
"I-if it ma-a-aters" - I could barely speak - "I-I'm g-glad i-it was y-you who t-t-took my li-i-ife" my vision was going black at the blood loss; I accepted my fate that I was going to die at my lover's hooves "goodbye Vinyl Scratch" was my last faint whisper to escape my lips before everything went black.
"You reckon she's alright, Twilight?" I stifled an yawn while, Applejack was walking into my library; she must have just been relieved of guard duty by, Rainbow Dash. "It must've been hard havin' a friend killed and all."
"Off what I saw she was coping better than most" -Applejack plopped down beside me- "I think she just needs sometime to herself-" sudden knocking at my door; frantic knocking. I was rushing to the door with Applejack right behind me, when I opened the door I wasn't sure what to think. Vinyl was carrying Octavia who was as pale as a sheet; my eyes were drawn to where her bow tie normally would be, now replaced by crimson.
Applejack rushed to find a place to lay Octavia down; a tremble was in her voice "what in tarnastions is going on 'round here?" I was moving now that I had gotten over the initial shook. She needed medical attention, and fast "Spike! Bring me the medical kit!" I heard a reply as I went to Octavia's side- "Applejack go get the others" -Spike had brought me the medical kit and I started doing what I could for her.
The amount of blood loss was making it almost impossible to keep her clinging to life; only almost. I worked fast using known medical techniques and improvised magic to stop her from bleeding out; it felt like I was working for hours by the time I finished. As soon as I was finished Vinyl was upon me without warning. "Is she okay? Will she live? How bad is it?" the questions wouldn't end; I ended up using my magic to close her mouth.
"She just needs rest and to eat when she wakes up" -the tension in Vinyl's body faded- "but" -and then it was back- "you were dead a couple of hours ago and then all of a sudden you bring a dying Octavia to me. What happened?" I noticed her eyes, red and hungry. Then I saw her teeth; correction her fangs.
She had leaped at me and I had only teleported out of her grip by a fraction of a second. I was behind her now; she was like a feral beast. Then she dived back catching me by surprise. She was pinning me to the ground; I tried to teleport. She was pressing down on my horn; I was trapped. "Everypony doesn't know when to stay quiet" she sounded possessed; I felt her fangs grazing my neck, it all made sense now.
"Vampire…" a short whisper was all I got out.
I felt her fangs start to sink into my neck- "yee haw!" - I almost cried hearing Applejack. When I was up Vinyl was hog tied on the ground and struggling against her bonds; Octavia was waking now.
"Are you alright Octavia?"
She was shaky but sat up "ya, I should be fine."
Vinyl had snapped out of the trance she had been in; she was blinking when she tried to turn to Octavia. "What happened? Why am I tied up?" -Vinyl scrunched her forehead- "did you want to try something?"
Octavia had blushed at the question; her hooves in her lap "um Vinyl we aren't at home" Vinyl looked around and saw all of us, she had blushed.
"Er um I mean…" she had dropped off there things starting to click in her head "did one of you want to try something?" or maybe not.
"I'm pretty sure that isn't-" the color drained from Octavia's face "it wasn't a dream…" Octavia was upon Vinyl in a sudden fury "you bucking bit me!" The out burst had surprised everypony; especially Vinyl. The sound that her hoof made when it met bone knocked some sense into Vinyl.
"What just-" she looked aside "-sorry…" For a second it looked like Vinyl was going to be smacked again but Octavia backed off instead. "Tavi?" she was ignored; she was about to cry.
"I thought we weren't keeping secrets Vinyl" -she hadn't said it loudly; she didn't need to- "how long have you been a vampire?" the words caused Vinyl to struggle against the bonds again.
"Since I-" she tensed and choked it out "-was a filly." Vinyl bit down; her jaw was tense and her eyes were closed tightly.
Octavia was worried; her anger forgotten "are you okay, Vinyl?" her tone was soft and caring; she was stroking Vinyl's mane tenderly. Vinyl screamed as her eyes flashed with anger; everypony save for Octavia recoiled. Octavia pulled Vinyl into a hard kiss; before anypony could look away Vinyl had calmed down. "You don't need to worry, I won't tell a soul."
"What about them?" she had fear in her voice. I was looking Vinyl over when Applejack replied "y'all don't have to worry 'bout us" everypony agreed with the statement. After a while we untied Vinyl sure she wouldn't strike out at any of us. Octavia asked a question "what about the thing that attacked you?"
"It… is still out there" Vinyl's words rang through my mind long after everypony had left me to my books.
Recently things have been overwhelming- "that's an understatement - the voice ripping through my mind again. It was right though; first I had witnessed Vinyl killed, then she showed up back from the dead, and then she had nearly killed me.
These things had caused me a lot of pain-"it's your own fault" - I disparately want to destroy this voice that's trying to rip my thoughts to shreds. A sudden scream from Vinyl.
I rushed to her aid.
Was that thing back?
What if I got there to late?
I was to scared to pray for anything.
I kicked the door open with such speed and strength I could tell I broke something; was I getting stronger?
I let out a sigh finding Vinyl was fine; well minus the fact that she was tangled up in my bed sheets somehow; on my dresser, wearing random things from my closet, and with a ribbon wrapped her hooves- "He-eeae-eeelp" - it was one of the cutest things I had ever seen.
"How did you get like this?" I was helping her get untangled resisting the urge to tease her. I felt a little playful having found her in such a quirky state.
"I was going to surprise you, with, umm something, but I kinda got stuck" she had one of the cutest blushes; it was taking a lot of effort not to tease her.
"A surprise? What kind of surprise?" After I had gotten her untangled I felt my face go warm; she was wearing one of my older bow ties somewhere you wouldn't normally wear a bow tie.
"Ta-da!" I was salivating as she struck her pose; playful was replaced by lust. She noticed and I was pulled into an extremely warm hug; her body felt feverish against mine. "You have such a velvety coat" I shoved her away with a chill down my spine- "she wants to feed from you - I screamed in my mind at the pain the voice caused.
"Octavia?" she was worried and by the time I regained awareness to my surroundings I was on the bed pressing my ears down; I was trembling and muttering to myself "it's just a dream, it's just a dream" over and over again. I was finally able to make myself look up at Vinyl Scratch; she was worried but also salivating, I saw how hungry she looked in that moment.
When she took a step towards me I nearly screamed out "Octy, a-are you okay?" she had stammered as if distracted by something.
"W-what happened?" I was trembling but was able to force myself up onto my hunches; I bit my lip like I always did when I was nervous. "Ow! that hurt, since when were my teeth so…-" "sharp?" - I almost fell off the bed in a sudden panic caused by the voice; if Vinyl hadn't pushed me down onto the bed so I lay like I did when I wanted to surprise her with; I distracted myself from the thought with the problem at hoof.
"I need to see a mirror" Vinyl had kissed my nose before going to grab a mirror. I was starting to wonder how I could have gone so long without noticing my special marefriend was a vampire. I loved my mirrors and had one in almost every room of the house, and you couldn't say we stuck to the bedroom when we were; well you know.
Vinyl came back in and was levitating a mirror with her magic; I had closed my eyes as she was putting it in front of me. I was afraid of what I would see…- "or not see" - every single word that voice said hurt. I was hesitant but opened my eyes to see nothing but the bed I was on in the reflection; I stifled a scream at this by biting my hoof.
Vinyl was stroking my mane gently when she spoke "are you going to be okay Octy?" I was unsure but I gave a feeble nod that I was.
"I, hope so" she nipped my ear playfully and that had caused me to give a squeak of surprise while I flushed "h-hey that" she started to nibble my ear and I melted "feels nice" I had purred those words.
"I know it does" I felt her hot breath on my ear as she breathed those words. I felt her press her warm body against mine; her coat felt like silk as it brushed against mine "you never answered my question?"
"Hmmm?" I was cuddling up to her.
"Are you up for a round?" I had purred at the thought and rolled onto my back.
"Belly rubs first?" we each have our favorite feelings; mine was belly rubs and hers was rolling in the grass after dark. It tickled at first but shortly after I was smiling and humming.
"Enjoying yourself?" she was beaming at me before she winked at me; she kissed my belly and I flushed with a slight squirm.
"H-hey d-d-don't do-o that" she loved to tease me; it was embarrassing. When she slid her nose up my body to the point that it was touching mine I was wreathing at her touch.
She smiled at me "I thought you loved it when I did that?" I was bright red.
"S-s-so?" she just kissed me; the kind of kiss where the ending was never in sight but when it came you were still wanting.
I was suddenly wrapped up in her warm embrace from behind her hooves playing around with my body; a sweet as honey whisper greeted me "are you okay Octy?
I took a sharp breath and blinked; I was laying on the bed and still staring at that mirror "w-what just-" I gave a faint smile "- it was just my imagination-" "or was it?" - that voice again...
I went to touch the mirror but Vinyl was putting it away and then she was laying besides me "Octy, what's wrong?"
I gave a soft smile "I thought I didn't have a reflection" Vinyl had given me a soft chuckle at that statement before she fell asleep. I considered doing the same but I suddenly wanted to read; I had left my book in our library. I was getting better at getting out of bed without disturbing Vinyl while she slept.
I was pressing my entire body against the door and it was heavier than normal; almost as if it were locked. I pressed harder and with a sudden screech the door burst inwards. If I hadn't been quick it would have woke Vinyl by crashing into the wall.
The library was a dark and scary place after I had shut the door behind me and before I flicked an ember in the fireplace to bring light to the room.
I let at a blood curdling scream that was the loudest scream in my life.
It's my turn to take watch over Octavia, and the now living Vinyl Scratch. It was going to be a long agonizing task; I could be at home researching. I want to find out everything I can about-
A scream of pure terror, Octavia?
I ran as fast as I could.
Something bad is going on.
Why would she scream that loud?
Was that pony back?
I burst through the door at the same time Vinyl was reaching the landing.
Vinyl was trying to push the door open.
She couldn't make it budge.
She has advanced levels of strength, why can't she open the door?
Octavia must be scurrying against the door in terror.
I willed the magic up in my horn and then teleported.
When I appeared in the room nopony was there. Only a shattered mirror and Octavia scrambling against the door unable to turn the door knob with her shaky hooves. I wasn't sure it would work but I welled up magic in my horn and then tried to sooth Octavia's pounding heart- I didn't think those still worked - she stopped trying for the door knob.
Vinyl was able to press into the room and shortly after she was at Octavia's side "what's wrong Octavia?" she was scared for Octavia.
Octavia was shaking and was only able to point at the shattered mirror; stammering "I-i d-d-don't" - Vinyl was stroking her mane - "ha-a-ave a-a" - she was on edge about to cry - "reflection" -Vinyl stiffened hearing this - "b-b-b-but it couldn't " -Vinyl was staring at the ground ashamed - "Vinyl had showed i-i-it to me."
I looked at Vinyl with my eyes slitted "explain" she avoided eye contact; shrinking under my gaze. She was trying to come up with something to say "and it better be the truth or I will just have to get Applejack to ask."
Vinyl was taking a breath looking down at the trembling Octavia "I thought I could keep her from knowing she had changed until she had some sleep-" beat "- she tends to stay in a common, err, umm position when she's-" we both blushed "- well you know." I cut the magic feeling drained having finally gotten Octavia to sleep.
"You better tell her tomorrow" - I was about to leave - "understand?" Vinyl nodded and I left to continue my watch.
I was dizzy but finally found my way, when I got outside I thought I saw somepony "is that you Fluttershy?" it was gone after I blinked; I shrugged I just need some sleep. I turned hearing something behind me. I was ready for a fight; was I on edge? and then I shrunk back in fear.
The pony charged me.
"Don't get involved Element of Harmony!"
It was fast; faster than Rainbow Dash.
I jumped aside.
It barely missed me.
I swore; I wan't the target.
I used my magic to slam the door in it's face.
I screamed "you aren't harming them!"
The creature roared in rage.
I was tackled.
It smelled horrible; like death.
It's teeth were sharp; sharper than Vinyl's fangs.
It's eyes; those weren't any pony I knew. They were sickly red with black veins jutting in every direction.
"You shouldn't have done that little filly.
And then a blood curdling scream tore from my throat or maybe that was the thing over me ripping my throat out.
The sound of death tore me from the blackness; a scream like a banshee.
I was running outside; Vinyl was on the floor stunned.
I ripped the door of it's hinges in my dash.
The masked thing was there.
Somepony was underneath it; Twilight?
I didn't think; I was trowing the thing like it weighed as much as a piece of grass.
I was at Twilight's side waving my hoof in front of her face; no response. That thing had made her face seem to distort in terror; I lead her to the library. Vinyl was at our front door confused "Octy where'd the door go?" when she saw Twilight she started to help me carry her; I didn't really need the help.
I saw Fluttershy peeking around the corner "oh, I'm terribly sorry, I'll go."
I stopped her with soft words "will you go and get the Elements of Harmony? she had squeaked but nodded before disappearing. I turned my attention to Twilight and felt like my voice was honey as I spoke to her, "Twilight can you hear me?" - no response - "you're going to be alright honey" - "great choice of words" - the voice almost threw my concentration but I keep speaking in the same tone.
Vinyl was wide eyed watching me; I didn't stop stroking Twilight's mane speaking soothing nothings and I felt drained by the time I had calmed her down. I fell to my haunches before Vinyl was able to stop staring at me; in fear? "Are you okay Octy?" when she brushed against my side I smiled wide cuddling into her; I felt as weak as a kitten suddenly. "Octavia?" - was she worried or way it a quiver of fear I heard? - "what did you just do?"
I was confused but tried to answer "I talked, had wanted to calm her fear" the words were barely louder than when Fluttershy talked.
Vinyl wasn't as warm as normal but I still cuddled into her; something was on her mind as she mumbled "she shouldn't be able to do that yet."
I smiled softly "do what love?" at this point Twilight was starting to wake; if she had waited a half second longer the Elements of Harmony would have seen it happen. "Come in ladies" I had tried to stand so I could greet them properly but could barely move.
Applejack was the first one in checking on Twilight "what happened to y'all?" then Pinkie Pie was dragging Rainbow Dash in who was in turn dragging Fluttershy and then Rarity walked in calmly "Octavia your hair is simply breath taking" I smiled slightly at the complement.
Twilight was up trotting around "what happened?" she was trying to clear her head. Suddenly she laid on her belly in front of me like I did to Vinyl when I wanted to… you get the idea.
"Are you feeling okay Twilight" I was baffled by her attention; was she trying to seduce me?
When she spoke I cocked my head "never better" her voice was laced with something I wasn't quite sure of but Vinyl didn't like it and held me closer; was she jealous? and then she kissed my nose; I had flushed.
Vinyl was pissed and pushed Twilight back and the anger was obvious when she spoke "she's mine!" I shrunk at this hiding my muzzle into Vinyl's coat; I could hear Twilight scrambling around. Vinyl was breathing fast, almost huffing; she was upset.
"Twilight what'd you go an' do that for? Applejack sounded mystified by this. A sudden fear was rising in my mind; had I somehow seduced her? I let out a whimper when I felt Twilight's nose nudging my side. When I felt Vinyl tense to strike Twilight I nearly screamed pinning her under me; he body was really, really warm under mine "you're cute when you're jealous" I nipped her ear and was about to kiss her when I heard Fluttershy squick.
I was suddenly aware that everypony was watching us and I rolled over to hide my muzzle into Vinyl again. After the sudden desire faded I felt bad for what I did to Twilight, and my body was weak; Vinyl must have noticed because in the next moment she had me sitting against a wall with a blanket over my back.
She turned to Twilight with a menacing tone "if you so much as touch her" I had flushed slightly and just as my eye's were going to close they went wide "was that thing outside Flutershy?!" - Fluttershy screamed at that one scrambling behind Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, I softened my voice - "I'm sorry, Fluttershy did you seen any other pony out in the streets?
She squeaked her answer "n-no" I had nearly let out a roar of anger but caught it before it had escaped my lips; I was almost trembling "Applejack?"
She looked right at me her hat was slipping down a little bit "what can I do for y'all?"
I was only a fraction of a second from trembling under a primal fear. "Could you fix my door? I kind of, err, broke it." If I remembered right it was in the street from where I dropped it.
She looked at the door frame and I was sure I heard her jaw drop "how'd you do that?" I didn't really know myself and was trying to come up with an answer.
I was grateful when Twilight spoke up for me; her voice was uncomfortably smooth "she's become stronger over night because of the transformation that Vinyl Scratch caused" I was surprised to learn that; had I changed? What was she talking about? - "Vinyl has some sharp fangs doesn't she? - I gasped in pain as the voice made it's self heard and I blacked out.
When I came to I was on Vinyl's bed and she was holding me close, she was shaking slightly; was she crying? I cuddled into her wanting to go to sleep "I love you Vinyl Scratch.
She nipped my ear slightly before holding me closer on the bed "get some sleep Octy" she had been crying… I did as she asked.
My mane was a mess when I woke up; I couldn't stand up either because I was wrapped up in my bedding. What kind of nightmare did I have last night? "Spike what time is it? no answer; that's odd.
I was still groggy when I was able to crawl out of the bedding; if the world wasn't spinning so fast… I was eventually able to walk straight and get out of my bedroom.
I stumbled through the door. This isn't my tree.
"Where am I?"
The sound of a fire alarm; Spike never burns anything.
I trip while running. I tumble down the stair case screaming.
I lay there staring at the wall.
The scent of smoke brakes my daze.
I rush to the source of the smoke; is somepony arguing?
"I don't know Octy, the toaster had just, um decided to, um eat the bread!" what? how can you burn- a sweet as honey voice brakes through my thoughts.
"Toasters don't just decide to eat bread Vinyl," I was drawn to the voice; I had to force myself away, I didn't want to be a dead pony. I started to panic.
I need to get out of this house.
Why am I drawn to Octavia?
I rush to the door and open it.
CRASH! why did the door fall off the hinges?!
I run as fast as I can while welling magic in my horn.
I can feel my heart pounding in my throat.
I released the magic and was gone.
I came to in my personal library; I had crashed into my book shelve and was in a pile of my books. One was cracked open on the bridge of my nose; I caught part of the title before starting to read; Vampyre. It was a research into the vampire myths throughout history and was talking about common abilities that they possessed in the lore.
I read the book aloud, "higher than normal strength appears quite a lot" - I rubbed my horn that somehow was still in one piece - "the ability to change form and talk to animals" - I would have to ask if they could change - "it also shows up that they have a form of advanced hypnosis."
I dropped the book with a sudden chill going down my spine; had Octavia hypnotized me? If so why does she want me to stay away? I had picked up my book and started to read hopeful.
"Hey Twilight!" I screamed and fell back when Pinkie Pie had pushed my book down to see my face. Pinkie Pie started to hop around me in a circle "whattcha doing?!"
I straightened my books "I was reading, why?"
Pinkie Pie started to stretch my face out in odd directions "didn't you hear?" I shook my head no "the 'you're not quite dead' party for Vinyl Scratch silly!" the you're not quite… is there anything she won't throw a party for? I was dragged from my books with something gnawing at the back of my mind.
Coming up on town square it hit me hard, Octavia would be there; that pony with the garnet eyes and pure white fangs. I have to get out of here. I can't be around Octavia.
I tore from Pinkie Pie's grip nearly ripping her foreleg off.
She wouldn't be able to catch me, I was to scared.
Thoughts of Octavia ran through my mind; thoughts of the curves of her body, I wanted her badly.
I screamed in my dash, and then I screamed when I ran into Applejack and Big Mac "Twilight, what-" and then I was gone.
Images of Octavia were blinding.
A pond of some kind; it didn't stop me I just kept running.
My body can't run further but still I run; I run until I pass out.
I wake under somepony's hooves.
My scream is stifled by a hoof that tastes like death; it smells it too.
Something sharp is in my side; something hot.
I try to scream but the hoof; the awful smelling hoof.
I can't thrash around; that thing is still in my side.
I try to use my magic but the other hoof is pressing down on my horn.
It hurts; my emotions are thrown around in turmoil.
I'm being hurt both emotionally and physically.
I shutter; from blood loss?
I'm gasping for air; fresh air isn't there, only the tainted taste of death.
Death?
Am I going to die?
I panic and forgot about my pain.
I thrash about under the pony; trying to keep from dying.
The pain in my side spreads like wild fire and I stop; first my sides, then my hindquarters… and soon it would spread to my forelegs… I can taste something coppery in my mouth; something warm over my tongue.
Blood, it's not mine though… that thing's blood is filling my mouth. I try to spit it out but the hoof just presses further down my throat. The blood is getting thicker, I can't breath; soon I will suffocate on the blood. I give up my struggles; it's a hopeless fight. I have no magic to use and no friend can save me now.
Don't Shake a Broken Hoof at Me
Something is wrong as I walk outside. I have a nagging feeling of dread. Am I dreaming? I must be; I will wake up and laugh with Vinyl about being a silly filly. Something smells off as I look around; something red is in the air. This must be a really bad nightmare.
I continue to walk around and then I see the creatures advancing on me. I'm completely surrounded. I can hear screaming; not mine though. Pricks of pain shoot through my body. I feel as brittle as glass. Something is clawing at me but I can't see what. I feel like I'm shrinking and trying to hide but I can't escape the fear. Something clamps onto my neck and I scream as everything is engulfed in flames.
I wake with a start gasping for air before calming down. Vinyl is staring at me and salivating "Um morning?" she looks hungry and I'm the only food in the room.
She tackles me and pins me down onto bed, her words are slurred; excited even "morning Octy!" - "she's hungry"! - the voice scared me and when she kissed my coat my mind raced with fear. I nearly cried out as she licked my ear.
"W-w-what are y-y-you doing?" she gave me nothing and just blew on my ear; I shook my head at that one. I almost let my guard down, she just wanted to tease me this morning.
She pulled me close and started to rub against my most sensitive area; I yelped in surprise, she definitely was not teasing me this morning.
My lower lip was quivering while she continued; it was sudden and felt extremely good. I screamed when she nipped my lip "Vinyl you're warm" I had moaned.
I was gasping more the longer that she rubbed against me; the gasps became more sudden and shorter lived.
She stopped and I whined; why was she stopping?
She licked my belly and I nearly lost myself.
She kissed me hard and thrusted hard against my belly.
I was putty in her hooves I wished that she would use me, even feed from me.
I lost focus on the kiss; I didn't notice it ended until she was licking my coat.
I was shaking from the desire and how sudden it had came this morning. The sensations were slowly fading and I took long relaxing breaths. She pressed closer to me; what's going through your head Vinyl Scratch?
I almost cried as she started rubbing my belly; maybe she was teasing me this morning a little "you're warmer Octy." I flushed at that and growled slightly. I took the lead; normally I would be terrified.
Not this time though. I rolled taking her to the floor where I pressed into her body firmly. She cried in bliss and surprise; my voice was honey as I whispered in her ear "my turn." I thought it would take longer to have her body as putty to my whims, but after a few well placed nips and kisses she was begging me.
Eventually I came up from her sweaty and exhausted body; I wasn't much better myself. She rolled over and laid into me with a sudden burst of energy, I blushed cherry red when she whispered to me "I love when you take top." I almost punched her, only almost though; there were still so many ways that she could take me this morning.
I felt as if somepony was watching us. I tried to bite back the lust but that only made it stronger as Vinyl slowly rubbed against me. I heard a yelp from the doorway; who could… the thought died. I was gasping when I saw who was in the doorway. Vinyl was moaning on top of me going faster as my mother looked down stunned from the doorway. I wanted to scream at being caught red hoofed by my mother.
"Vinyl get off me!" she wasn't listening; I was frantic and embarrassed. I'm unable to get Vinyl off of me and I can tell that- I screamed out losing to the pleasure making a mess, Vinyl made one right after I did.
I hid under the bed; why was mother in Ponyville?
Things became worse when Vinyl noticed mother.
I didn't need to see her to know that she was bright red "oh um err th-hat wasn't, um we were, um you see I was just… err umm she had this itch you see and I was, um scratching it for her." I smacked my face with my hoof; only Vinyl Scratch could come up with something that crazy.
"That must have been a bad itch" - she was disappointed - "if you hadn't told me I would have thought that the two of you were fooling around, thank you SO much for the clarification" I bit my hoof when Vinyl relaxed having missed the obvious sarcasm in my mother's voice; sometimes a certain pony was as dense as a boulder.
I wanted to hide under the bed all day but I was pulled out by my father who was laughing slightly. I looked around and relaxed slightly when I saw it was just me and dad and then he messed up my hair like he used to when I was a filly "I hear that you were having an itch scratched darling," - I blushed while he teased me - "I always joked about how our first born would be a fillyfooler if we had a girl."
I nearly hit him at that "dad!" and then it was just like when I was growing up; he would tease me and I would blush, my brothers hated that we shared that bond.
We went downstairs after dad had helped me straighten out my mane; it was going to be a long day with mother. I went silent when I walked into the kitchen and Vinyl whispered in my ear "man that was close Octy." I groaned at how dense she could be; how did she even think we got away with that? we were still sensitive to each other's touch… I swear once we have the house to ourselves I am going to punish- I flushed knowing I wanted her right here and now.

Mother never liked Pinkie Pie but she still came to the party that she was throwing for Vinyl; I knew Pinkie Pie and myself were cousins but I didn't know from which side. I started to dance around with Vinyl enjoying ourselves; this was a calm party for Pinkie Pie, she hasn't even- "Let's par-tay!" BAM! - and there went the party cannon.
Everything went quiet, even the music was cut.
Everypony was looking behind me.
I spun around quickly.
Twilight Sparkle wasn't the type of pony to make an entrance, but when you look as if you were nearly ripped to shreds ponies tend to notice.
The most terrifying part was her horn; broken.
Last time I saw a unicorn with a broken horn he couldn't use magic without losing control.
I screamed when she appeared in front of me suddenly.
Her front hoof was broken and she was shaking it in front of my face.
"You- you caused this to happen" I was taken aback by this; what happened to you Twilight?
My voice was honey as I spoke "Twilight what-" she slapped me with such a force that I was on the ground crying.
She took a step towards me the anger obvious "you're lucky I don't, kill you. I am going back to my tree where I'm going to lock the door." Everypony was in shock; what happened to the kind hearted Twilight?
She was gone suddenly.
Vinyl was moving quickly to get me out of there; we had escaped everyponies attention and Vinyl had me at home where she was stroking my mane and speaking sweet nothings. I was shaking the entire night in her embrace; what did I do to Twilight?
No Such Thing As An Accedent
I'm extremely bitchy today. My horn is broken and so are my emotions. I hate being a unicorn in moments like this; my center of emotion shattered. I can't do anything except rest and heal. Anypony that bothers me today is my enemy.
A knocking at the door; I use my magic and open the door. Applejack trots in and I groan wishing she wasn't here; Applejack was one of those ponies that I didn't consider an enemy in my state of being, she's one that made we want a body pressed against mine. She was here to fill me in with the latest gossip going around Ponyville.
"What about the search for whatever did this to me?!" she went silent thinking it over; I was about to yell at her again when she answered "we reckon' it was that thing that had threatened Octavia" I rolled my eyes at that annoyed that I wanted her body pressed against mine more than Applejack's.
AJ decided to check on my horn and I tensed ready to strike; I stopped myself and fell into sobbing instead "y'all sure this'll heal?" I twitched but didn't strike her.
"I don't want to talk about it" she patted my side and then was gone.
A knocking at my door greeted me shortly after "go away" the knocking continued "I said go away!" and they still continued to knock. I forced the door open with my magic screaming "what do you want?!"
I looked and saw Octavia who was glaring at me with a surprisingly dark look; of all the stupid mares to show up why her? She trotted up to me and was looking down at me "where's that stupid filly, Vinyl was it?" I was extremely bitchy and didn't give a damn.
"She's working, but you… what are you doing?" I nearly swore wishing I wasn't in casts; I wanted to slap her hard, force her to my whims and then kill her with my bare hooves.
She saw something behind my eyes and pressed a hoof on my chest; it burned in agony "have your eyes been troubling you, they've been troubling everypony else."
"My eyes? have you gone mad Octavia?" she held a mirror in front of my face and I growled.
My eyes were worse than Discord's; I gave into fear and tried to crawl out of my bed but Octavia's hoof was weighing down on my chest "you see it too don't you? others can't, not like I can." She was pressing down harder on my chest and I could feel bone cracking and screamed "I nearly lost Vinyl to those eyes, and you have them now."
The compassion of her voice was gone as I tried to run and hide. I desperately wanted to escape from Octavia's grip; I felt a rib crack and screamed a loud piercing whine "Octavia is going to kill me!"
She fell back in shock; what is she doing? "what am I doing? this is crazy you're my friend." She began to pace the room. I didn't dare move hoping she would forget about me. I was tense the entire time ready to flee if I needed. I was to terrified to screen when she took a step towards me.
She sat down on the edge of my bed; I could feel her presence. My emotions couldn't decide what I wanted to do; first I wanted her, then I wanted to kill her, and then I wanted to run from her. Then I wanted to do all of them in no particular order. They clashed inside my head, the strongest trying to go to the tip of my horn that was still healing.
In the end I wanted her, wanted her every why that she could think of, I could think of… and then I wanted to hide fearing Vinyl Scratch was watching. I did just that.
I hid under my covers like a little filly hiding from the monsters under the bed, if I was crying I couldn't tell.
I felt Octavia's touch and I fled, I was trembling to bad to open my door. I heard her voice and honey started to fill my thoughts "I'm not going to hurt you Twilight" she spoke and I sunk into her voice; I wanted to taste the lips that sweet voice came from.
When she touched my mane I nearly threw myself onto her with a scream of delight.
She led me to my bed and I was trembling with hope.
I smiled as she looked down at me, her mane was beautiful and her coat like velvet.
I couldn't wait to feel that coat pressed against mine.
I was excited at the thought of the warmth from her lips, to feel the soft touch she had when she played her Cello for everyone to hear.
I cried happily when she kissed my forehead, and the warm breath on my ear as she whispered to me was alluring "go to sleep little one" the words filled my mind and then I was snoring fast asleep.
This morning I had crawled out of bed feeling lonely, I had thought that paying Twilight a visit to see how she was doing would ease that loneliness, but when I had got there and saw those eyes… I snapped and nearly killed her. I knew in my heart that she was taken now but I could never bring myself to give her a quick death; I was hoping that I could find a cure or something.
It's hilarious actually; the first moment of today Vinyl and I were making another mess in my bed room and talking about converting the other into a storage space instead and then I was comforting a monster. I was thankful when I got home and Vinyl was still gone; I needed time to myself, time to control my raging emotions. It would probably be hours before Vinyl would be home, assuming that Rainbow Dash didn't go with her this time at least.
I decided that I was going to read.
When I went into the library I felt my heart sink; the mirror was shattered like my emotions. I cleaned it up and took it out to the dumpster staring at the shards as they fall into the dumpster. When I got back I found the most depressing and dark novel I owned and opened it. I didn't get to read a single word before my mother was in the room her voice the only sign of anger being her voice "would you mind expelling what I found you doing the other day?"
I nearly groaned out loud at the question "what did it look like?" I didn't want to say anything unless it drove me deeper into my sulk. I avoided her gaze as much as possible already feeling the heat behind her stare.
"It looked like my proper girl was losing her mind" - I wanted to hide into myself the more she said - "and might I add that it wasn't a male either? at least you could have been with a stallion instead of that two-bit little-"
I looked at her with a fury in my own eyes eating at her own flames "think of what you're about to say before it leaves you mouth" my voice was nothing like honey in that moment; it was a gun shot. I almost felt sorry for snapping; only almost.
"Girl…" her voice was meek and it made me want to retreat into my old self; the self where I never upset my mother and was a perfectly normal pony. She was about cry, I felt myself start to cry in that moment; when she hugged me close I nearly lost myself to full blown sorrow. In that moment I told her everything that was bothering me; almost everything at least, I had to leave out the vampire parts.
She gave me a kiss on the forehead before she left me feeling much better but still depressed. I went to my book when she was gone images of the broken Twilight, my lovely Vinyl and then to add insult to injury that creature. I screamed when somepony touched my back, and then as I was about to jump out the window I released it was only Rainbow Dash.
She was nervous as she spoke to me "O-Octavia?" I smiled and nodded for her to continue "why do you and Vinyl, um you know?" I flushed at the question.
"Err um you see um uh" - I must have kept saying um and other such words until I was finally able to finish - "we kind of just got curious but then… we kind of liked it a little to much."
I was still blushing when she asked another question; suddenly I couldn't help but think even Fluttershy was this shy "h-how does it work?"
I was covering my face sure my body was just as red as my face "well um you see" I spent a long time just taking breaths to calm my pounding heart "you kind of um get really close and um find where you um like to um be touched" I left it at that and was thankful when Rainbow Dash left.
I tried to read know that she was gone; it didn't work because now I was wanting Vinyl home for some fun, I had to just have some private fun instead. I had started to really get excited in my fun and games when I heard a knocking at the door. I was only able to stop myself when I thought that it might be Vinyl getting home finally. I opened the door and screamed loudly.
I tackled the form at the door happily and started kissing her; I pulled back and gave her my most wanting smile, her body loosened under me excited and I almost took her right there, only almost.
I opted fore the bedroom, she for the library; in the end she won because it was closer.
I couldn't tell who was leading and who was opening there body. We didn't care.
One second she's biting my ear and the next I'm licking her neck. Then she's pressing her flank into me.
This went on forever but felt like it was going to end way to soon; at least until I licked Vinyl's most sensitive area causing a long moan.
There's this one area on Vinyl's neck that if you licked just right she would become your plaything.
She moaned longer and deeper as I took her; took her in every way I could imagine and didn't stop until we were both panting and our manes were slick with sweat.
Between pants Vinyl was praising me; begging me despite our fatigue to be taken again.
I flicked my tail between her thighs and teased her, she cried at the contact.
I rubbed her belly in a provocative manner and Vinyl was unable to control her lust and pulled me into her with greedy hooves; she rubbed my back and took her sweet and marvelous time around my flank.
I bit my lip as I was going stiff trying to hold back the feeling.
I looked down and Vinyl was smiling; she loved when I bit my lip.
I screamed as my body gave up to her, I don't know what I was saying but I was crying it out in joy.
She rolled me over so that she was on top and kissed me hard on the lips; I started to wonder how long Vinyl could do this for. I decided that I would find out tonight.
I cried out when she spread my hind legs wide; I nearly screamed when she started to brush between them with her tail.
She just kept teasing me, taunting me with her touch, I wanted more "Vinyl!" it was a long and loud moan of lust.
She smiled at my pleas and I continued wanting her badly.
She gave a final brushing touch and then pressed against me biting my ear.
I whined under her letting her use my body anyway she wanted; it was exciting and I was trembling.
I would find out the answer to my question sometime tomorrow afternoon.
Chancing an Internal Fear
I was trembling when I woke.
My hooves are a blur in my vision; I don't care.
Some kind of primal urge is making me move; making me a hunter.
Me, Twilight Sparkle the book worm is now a hunter; a hunter of what though?
My vision cleared and I was standing over somepony; she looked really familiar.
I saw blood and could feel a sick joy and then my gut wrenched; I knew that face.
"Octavia?! " I was down shaking the corpse and my mind snapped to clarity; this only looks like Octavia.
I panicked trying to make her move, to wake her up, to do something, anything at all; nothing was my response.
I was frantic looking from side to side after I pulled myself from the corpse; the lifeless body of a once breathing and loving pony.
What had happened? how did she die?
I wasn't sure I even wanted to know; I was right I didn't.
Everything flooded my mind; I had killed her.
I was at the pony's side apologizing and almost crying; she wasn't anything more than a piece of scenery now.
I swallowed the regret and let it run wild through my mind; I let the metal lodge deep inside of my windpipe.
Let it hurt when I screamed seeing the stab wounds along her flank, torso and even her skull; as if a unicorn had stabbed her to death; and then continued to stab.
I was trembling when I went to the water in the fountain; I was trying to tell myself I didn't do anything last night.
I shoved my hoof into my mouth and could feel it start to bleed, could ever taste the coppery blood in my mouth; I let it.
The perfect water was muddled a pony with a bloody muzzle, a crimson coated horn, and worst of all those eyes; worse than Discord's had ever been.
I could have screamed loud enough to wake all of Equestria but I shoved my hoof deeper into my throat; almost gaged.
I scrambled barely taking the time to free my mouth before taking trembling steps, and then I was galloping.
Galloping from the pony with the still bleeding wounds of the poor mare.
I screamed.
I was blinded by my sweat and didn't know where I was going.
I was in my tree trembling behind a book fort made from half of my library, I snapped at Spike when he tried to help; nearly bit his nose off, he ran out and I regretted my response; I just ended up curling against the book shelf crying. I heard my door open but I couldn't look at the cause; I was to broken.
A hoof was crushing my ribs; I didn't care.
I let it try to force it's way trough my flesh; just like my horn had done to Octavia.
Even when bone cracked I did nothing; I didn't even cry.
The pressure on my chest disappeared and I could hear arguing "We are not going to kill her Vinyl!" the voice like honey; how I killed her?
"She just killed your mother!" a voice like hungry knives… mother?
I dropped into mumbling "I, oh god what, no I, no no no no" my mind snapped further and I laid there in my realization.
I heard a scream of anger and heard fighting.
One of them was thrown into me; she had a soft flank.
I felt her kick off towards the other pony and almost laughed at the shot of pain in my side.
The fighting sounded like fun; the sounds of pain, their moans as good strikes contacted, and especially their cries as a hit was a little to close for comfort.
Then the fighting stopped and I could hear them both panting and then the voice of honey spoke up between gasps for air "We" -breath- "are not" -another breath- "going to kill her. We will find a cure, Vinyl."
A cure? Why did they need a cure? They could fight and kill; I almost screeched like a little filly at the prospect.
I wish I had the strength to fight with them, to feel their hooves agist me, to feel the warmth of their bodies pres-
I was slapped hard "ow!" the strike dragged me from my stupor.
"Are you in there Twilight?" that voice of honey again, I could feel myself falling into the voice as I wished to taste it. I almost did but another slap knocked me silly.
When I looked up Octavia and Vinyl Scratch were staring down at me; the first was a kind expression the other one of anger. Why was Vinyl always mad at me?
Why is Octavia wearing glasses like Vinyl's own? I felt a slight shiver go through my body of desire "those glasses make her look sexy. Sexy? Did I really just thi-" another slap knocked me to the ground. I looked and saw that Octavia had the glasses on her head and was blushing "did I say that out loud?"
In answer Vinyl slapped me again; harder this time and Octavia snapped at Vinyl's tail.
I felt a pang of jealousy at that; and then it was gone after hearing Vinyl scream out suddenly; it must have hurt. I snickered a bit to myself as the two started to fight; this one looked like it was just for play. I watched with my mouth agape as Vinyl pinned Octavia under her; I desperately wanted to be pinning her down instead.
The way those two played oblivious to me was beautiful; beautiful and arousing. I squirmed a little when Vinyl started to rub against Octavia who was only half trying to get her to stop.
I was stunned when Vinyl was the first to moan.
When Octavia started to moan I could feel one of my hooves between my hind legs quivering; I didn't last close to as long as those two.
They didn't make a mess like I did somehow stopping themselves but when they saw me they did blush bright red; red from flank to nose.
It was funny watching them try to ignore what just happened and I only smiled. They finally started to clean up the mess on the floor before arguing and finally agreeing that a cure would be my fate.
I went to bed happily thinking of Octavia's cries and moans, I fell asleep easily that night imaging Octavia as I took her.
When I woke up I was happy that for once this week I didn't wake up horny; ever sense Vinyl had been (nearly) killed we wanted to take or be taken a lot more. Being subtle was lost on us lately; Twilight's house the other night was the perfect example of that. We had fought first for blood and then fun; she had made a mess of her own while we made ours.
It was a normal day as we went about our daily routine of me telling Vinyl not to try and make food, telling her to chew with her mouth closed, asking her not to drink from the carton, and then to stop touching herself while we ate "but you're so beautiful" she was shameless cooing to me against my pleas. I gave her a warning finally but she didn't take it; I could tell I was smirking and took her hair in hoof and dragged her to the bathroom.
Once there I pulled out a brush "Octy I don't-" I comb her hair against her struggles, she never lets her hair down; it is beautiful the few times I convinced her to. She finds it embarrassing I'm guessing considering how she's blushing; that blush is always my downfall. I squirm a little in place feeling warmer "Octy why are-" I nipped her ear and she shuttered at my sudden kiss "I thought you didn't-"
I wrapped my hooves around her shoulders leaning fully on her as I lick her neck; she shutters letting out a long moan. When she falls to her hunches I sit in front of her and barely stop myself from going all the way and the look Vinyl gave me almost broke my heart, only almost though. I considered it payback for all the times that Vinyl had teased me and then left me high and dry; well at least high "that's for doing it to me so often Vinyl."
She was desperate and tried apologizing, begging and then when she bit her lower lip I had to force myself to say no again; she threw herself at me in sobs begging with all of her heart and it's a struggle not to give in to her pleas; even when she's being a drama queen and I can barely refuse her and then she takes off her glasses pleading and I can't stop myself; I make her scream when it only takes a short minute or two to make her putty at my hooves and claim her fully as my prize.
She was satisfied after one go which was a pleasant change from all the other times and I'm still trying to figure out how she does it; she thrives on ten hours of sleep and functions admirably on two hours of sleep but as soon as she reaches that three to nine hour mark she becomes a mess. We would have been ready sooner but I had spent a portion of time begging Vinyl to keep her hair down; when I bit my lip and promised her I'd do anything she wanted after we had finished with our errand for the day, she eagerly agreed.
We didn't really want to do this errand today; we had to ask everypony if they knew anything about the creature that had hurt Twilight but received no answers. At one point we found out that according to a rumor that Discord and Queen Chrysalis had been together at some point; I played the idea around with Vinyl but didn't really get anywhere.
I kind of wished we had Twilight to help us search but we couldn't trust her right now; whatever that creature was it had tainted her.
We ended up going to the library last in our search the sun starting to set and didn't find anything but I stopped in front of a box that had "4 bits for entire box" on my way out; Vinyl didn't even give me time to pick it up before she was paying for it. I tried to give her two bits at least but she refused smiling at me.
We got home and I told her I'd be upstairs after I finished sorting through the box; she swayed her tail as she went up the stairs and I squirmed a little almost forgetting the box of books for the moment, only almost though.
I went into our library and started to sort through the box and took out one that showed an image of Discord from the window pane from Celestia's castle and put it aside in a read later pile and then I continued to search the box and found another that had a portrate of the Lord of Chaos and the Queen of the Changelings on it; I was nervous but thrilled to have found something like that in the box.
I decided it could wait though because Vinyl was waiting for me and put the books away; she was probably chomping at the bit waiting for me. I pushed inside and then I was sure I started to salivate; she was wearing her stockings and laying in such a way to give me a full view of her body.
I was about to pouch on her but she pointed to my stockings on the shelf next to me and I started to fumble wanting them on so I could take her; she was excited and used her magic to help me.
I pounced her and she screamed in delight spreading her legs for me.
I gave her a wink and then kissed her there; I surprised her with that one and she screamed my name.
I grinned before licking her there; I continued licking and nipping there until she was unable to control her cries of joy or her hooves.
I pressed against her with my stockinged hoof and she purred.
At this point I couldn't control myself either and she was really sensitive.
I started to rub against her running my hooves through her mane.
I was playing along her flank with my tail.
She moaned my name with the rarely heard girly voice of hers.
I loved that voice and wouldn't let it stop any time soon.

I bit my lip when my body started to stiffen further against the pressure; the pressure Vinyl was putting on my belly.
I lost myself again and moaned louder than I had ever done before.
How has Vinyl not- she screeched losing herself with such force that I felt my lower regions soaked.
I gasped thinking I was going to pass out; in this moment we are one pony.
A sharp breath came to me when my desire returned stronger than before.
I licked up her body until her chin.
She whined in pleasure, all for me.
I pressed against her belly and she moaned; everything I did right now made her moan.
I touched her horn and she screamed; it stunned me slightly.

She bit her lip and her eyes screamed no.

I was lasting a lot longer than Vinyl thought I could, she was whimpering in delight as I exerted myself to her pleasure.
I bit her neck in that sensitive spot and my heart stopped.
She screamed out for me, but it wasn't one of pleasure; it was a scream of agony.
I was panicking now "ohmygod what do I do?!"
Vinyl lays at my hooves sputtering and coughing; my worst nightmare is happening right in front of my eyes.
I'm going to snap and I can't stop it.
I've been trying to hide from these thoughts of fear; an uncontrollable fear.
It's intoxicating while I run around the house looking for our medical kit; where did Vinyl put that damned thing?!
"She would make a great wall ornament I screamed because the voice was back.
The medical kit was in the fridge; why would you put that there Vinyl?!
I scrambled into the bedroom where Vinyl was still gasping for air weak.
I found the bandages and was binding her neck in a panic with shaky hooves.
I found a blood pack in the medical kit; that's why you kept it in the fridge.
I was in sobs while fumbling to get the blood to Vinyl's lips.
She clamped down on the pack and I screamed afraid it was going to burst; it didn't.
I spoke with a shaky voice still filling like honey though until she loosened the bite and started to drink greedy.
I felt a weight lift from my mind when her body stopped shaking and she was breathing better; I got her laying on the bed so she could heal having time to think until she wakes up.
"She would be better of dead I screamed loud "what are you?!"
"Me?" - laughed and I felt like I was shot - "I'm what you would call thoughts."
I almost bit the first thing I saw while the voice talked; it can't be my thoughts!
"You wonder why I sound different? - it didn't wait for an answer - I'm the thoughts you chose to ignore, you gave me a different voice."
I had to focus on my hooves so I wouldn't black out as it laughed again.
"Why not let me have reign I shoved my muzzle into the pillow on the bed wanting to scream; I won't lose control! "Why not? you're a moster after all.
The voice was right; I hadn't needed blood yet but what would happen when I did? the voice took a shot while I was stunned "she nearly killed the Elements of Harmony the voice was hot nails in my brain.
"Why do you fool around with that monster?" that was an easy on; she loved me and protected me "who are you fooling that's lust not love" I laughed out loud at that lie.
We had met at a club in Canterlot two years back after the Grand Galloping Gala where a stampede had broken out. The club was one of those hole in the walls that wasn't sure if it was a dance club or a sophisticated meeting place.
I was asked to play a simple piece that was just to give the ponies around something to idly listen to while they talked and drank.
After I had finished my set I started to put away my Cello- "It's just my bass cannon!" - the voice was followed by a loud wave of sound. I was thrown back by it's sudden volume and turned to glare at the cause.
Vinyl only smiled at me before I went to the bar to get paid; the barkeep said I had to wait until this DJ was done with her set. I took advantage of my free drinks while I waited for this DJ to finish her set; I blanked on time because I was on my third drink when Vinyl plopped down next to me.
She turned to me with a wide smile "yo!" her voice was husky for a mares.
"Yo?" I was confused and she just laughed smiling again; I was captivated by her smile and how it reminded me of something from my childhood.
"It means hello, I'm DJ Pon-3 but you can call me Vinyl." Vinyl? why did that name sound familiar? she thrust her hoof out so I could shake it.
I took it in mine and shook absent minded "my name is Octavia" she smiled again and I could tell she did that a lot.
"How does Octy sound?" something was poking at my mind like relocation but was still far away.
I gave her a dirty look and using the most exaggerated sarcasm I was able to replied "great, sounds so much better than Octavia" she smiled and I started to feel uncomfortable as she hugged me a little to close.
"I'm gonna call you Octy then!" I was thrown for a loop when she thought I was being serious and then she grabbed my tail with a wink and blushed bright; she started to ask questions that I'd have blushed at considering to ask somepony "Do you like mares or stallions?" I meekly answered I didn't know "have you ever been with either?" I blushed but shook my head and was happy when the barkeep paid me and I could leave.
I left and after she had got paid Vinyl fallowed me with no sense of personal space and the whole way she was bumping into me and playing her tail over my back and flank; she had gotten us a lot of disconcerting looks.
I let out an agonized growl when I got home; on the door was a notice from the owner of my apartment complex that was roundabout when it came to explaining that all tenants would have to move out in a month.
Vinyl had pushed me aside and read the note to herself and then turned to me with a bright smile "That sucks. Hey how 'bout you move in with me and my parents?" I looked at the note again.
I turned to Vinyl feeling meek "if you're sure that it's okay" she smiled wide again.
I felt a soft smile on my own lips as she spoke "of course! my parents love guests!" with that she rushed me inside and started packing my things.
I was barely able to blink before she had found all my boxes, filled them and then had most of them on her back. I blinked once more and we were walking down the streets head for her house and I was carrying a single box and struggling while Vinyl carried the rest without trouble.
I was stunned as we were walking up to a house in the high class district and then my jaw dropped when I saw Picture Perfect start waving from the front yard "Vinyl, who's your friend?" Vinyl beamed as she answered; she didn't act as if it were a big deal "this is Octy, her manager just sold the apartments she lived at and needs somewhere to crash!"
Picture Perfect laughed and waved us over and then took the box from my back easily "any friend of Vinyl's is a friend of mine" I wasn't sure what she had actually said because of her thick accent.
She rushed me into the house; lead me to a guest room that was bigger than my old apartment and it was beautifully furnished with a large bed and different desks and dressers "you can sleep next to Vinyl's room in case you two want to do anything in the middle of the night" I flushed bright red at that and Vinyl just laughed.
"She won't be doing that with me" -she winked and gave me a look of desire- "at least not right away."
I heard something moving besides me.
I snapped from my memories as Vinyl was waking from her stupor; something clicked in my head. Vinyl wasn't a monster, just a great friend who could replace Rainbow Dash as the Element of Loyalty in a heart beat. The voice wasn't happy and was trying to be heard but it just kept shrinking until it was silent.
My jaw dropped as Vinyl spoke "why'd you stop?" and I flushed.
I'm swimming in gore as my vision returns
I start to flail about in a panic; I need to get out of this!
I screamed unable to find a place to pull myself up to.
Then it was there; I screamed out trying to swim away from it.
That creature; how is it standing on the gore?!
It caught up to me and then I was submerged.
I was up gasping for air.
I was back under thrashing.
My lungs scream for air.
I'm hauled from the gore again; it lets me pant and gasp for air.
"Why do you struggle? I'm unable to brake it's grip; it won't even budge to my struggles.
"I don't want to die!" I beg for my life but it will never let me go.
"I'm not going to kill you, I'm just trying to save you" - it was a welcome statement and I relaxed - "all you need to do is kill.
I screamed that I would never do that and I was forced back under; I couldn't help but gasp for air that wasn't there after the five minute mark and my gut was filled with gore.
It laughed as it pulled me up "it stops when you kill.
I tried to bite the creature but it was holding me to far away and I was dunked back under.
The eyes when it pulled me back up were nothing but the black veins; was my vision giving out?
I went to dunk me back under but I cried out terrified "will you kill now? I trembled in it's grip but set my jaw and stared it in those eyes.
"Drown me!" it laughed and threw me into the distance.
I didn't fall into the gore; I was bounced across it but never sunk.
The creature was upon me and had me pinned down the gore only lightly licking at my body.
It's grin was rusty like the gore below and a lot sharper "do we have a deal?!
I was trembling and then bucked up but the creature didn't move.
I scream while it's about to bite my neck and it stops.
"Go buck yourself!" I didn't let it ask.
It was annoyed and bit down into my neck with all it's strength.
I didn't cry, I would not beg for it to stop and I wouldn't consider screaming; there was only one way to make it stop and I would never give in to that.
I started to laugh hysterically while it tried to kill me and then I felt magic welling up in my horn.
I screamed in pure agony as the magic forced the creature back and started to pull me down.
I didn't try to stop it, let the gore fill my lungs while I laughed; I'm dying and glad because that means that soon I won't have any problems to worry about.
Everything goes red, and then it's all black.
I was panicking as Vinyl was assuring me that she was fine and still wanted to be taken. Eventually I'd stop being surprised by how addicted she was to me.
After being bitten it seemed to intensify her lust but I didn't want to feeling bad; she begged and promised that she would leave her hair down for a week.
I gave in because it would take less time just to take her.
She screeched losing herself and then passed out.
I went back to the library and picked up the books I had in my pile for reading, the first didn't really have anything of importance only talked about Discord from before Luna and Celestia inprisoned him in stone.
The second one made me nervous before even reading a page; I closed the blinds and sat down on the couch we had in there.
The book was on someponies first hand observations of Discord and Queen Chrysalis. It started out very well written and the further along in my reading it started to degrade in quality; as if what the pony witnessed drove him crazy.
I found myself wondering if it hadn't been for Twilight and the other Elements of Harmony if everypony would have succumb to the same state of mind.
Twilight!
My reading became frantic and I made myself slow down so that I could fully understand what was wrote.
I found what I was looking for and after a little bit of math I figured out the exact amount of those creatures that were out there.
I ran to the door, I needed Vinyl awake right now if we wanted to have a chance of finding a changeling.
I screamed when I opened the door.
As if in answer to our need there was a changeling and then it was me.
It went to attack me and I screamed until my mind shut down the fear and brought my instincts into full swing.
I ducked the swing aimed for my face.
I lashed out with a left hook sending it to the ground.
I was upon it pounding it's face in.
It lay dead on the ground back to it's original form.
"Vinyl Scratch get your lazy flank down here!"
She scrambled and stumbled but made it to the stairs; something felt off about her.
"What's going on Octy?" it wasn't her voice.
She noticed the changeling and I could tell her eyes were normal.
She rushed down to me "are you hurt Octy? Did that thing hurt you?"
The nagging feeling in my head wouldn't stop; something had me on edge.
I looked down and my hoof was bleeding; damn that's going to stain.
Everything clicked and I went through with a solid hit to Vinyl's nose with my adarenaline rushing.
"What did you do to Vinyl? the form of a dead changeling lay on the ground; I was stronger than I thought.
I leaped the stairs as if they were nothing in my rush to the bedroom.
I swung the door open fast and hard putting a hole in the wall and took a breath seeing Vinyl asleep on the bed. I was salivating a bit seeing her but forced it aside and slapped Vinyl's cheek softly "wake up Vinyl."
She didn't budge; I shook her, she groaned but didn't wake up.
I felt a mischievous smile and then grabbed between her thighs hard.
That did the trick; she screeched waking up in a panic and I just smiled at her.
"Get ready for a battle Vinyl, there are changelings invading and who knows what else."
She didn't had time to think before I was pulling on an old bow tie.
"That's falling apart Octy!" I just smile at her.
I put my glasses on her head "and now we can easily recognize each other" - she was looking at me like I was crazy - "if a changeling looks like us then we can still tell who's who."
She gelled my hair and before I could ask what she was doing she just smiled and was pulling her bass cannon from the closet "Vinyl that could kill somepony!"
She rushed down the stairs and was outside at the same time I was.
The world is chaos; ponies and changelings a like fighting and fleeing and off in the distance a large wave a purple was there.
Twilight! Shit it might be to late!
I charge for the house.
I jump and slide to get closer looking for my chance.
"It's just my bass cannon!" a sound wave tares to my left killing changelings and stunning ponies; good move Vinyl.
I roll to the left as another sound wave goes to my right.
I mid dash tare the horn from a dead changeling.
It screams; apparently not quite dead yet.
I swore as Vinyl blasts another wave this time hitting me and nearly fell over in pain.
I bit down hard on the horn in my mouth and continued to run my ears ringing.
I smashed into the magic shell around Twilight.
I scream as I fall on my back somehow still holding onto my prize.
I'm surrounded by changelings drastically out numbered and they start to beat me to a pulp; help is nowhere to be heard or seen.
Something pangs against my magic shell, it bounces off and then I hear screaming; it woke me from my darkness.
I recognized that scream… Octavia!
I try to pull her into the shell.
When I succeed she's panting and bleeding; it was arousing.
She looked up with such sorrow in her eyes that I wilted.
I felt like I broke her heart; I didn't want that "are you okay Octavia?" my voice rang out louder than Luna's Equestira voice.
She forced herself to limp over to me; she needs medical attention.
I'm panicking trying to help her but when I tried to bandage the area by her hind legs she wouldn't let me.
I wouldn't have let myself either; I was salivating finding her pain arousing.
I wanted to stop the sick pleasure at pain.
I was pleading for her to let me bandage her bleeding wounds.
The only thing she let me do was stroke he mane; it was stick for some reason.
I was gentle and the sick joy was gone; it was replaced with worry.
She looked up at me and the emotion's war obvious; she was shattered worse than this entire time my horn has been healing.
She had been turned into a vampire, her and Vinyl had been spending to much time fooling around, and then to make it all worse her friend has gone mad and killed her mother.
She cried and then begged for the wounds to be cured; I was careful and did as she needed.
I no longer wonder why she loves Vinyl so much; protection, love and care.
Vinyl Scratch was eccentric especially in her DJ Pon-3 persona but she was a strong pony, had a strong passion and did everything possible to protect Octavia.
Octavia needed that; her mother disapproved of everything she did, her brothers were malicious while tormenting her and her only sour of comfort was her father who worked a nine to five job to support his family.
My desire for Octavia didn't come from her voice but her heart; her heart was pure and it only got stronger after all the stuff she has been forced to trudge through.
She could have been an Element of Harmony even. Thinking about it she was; her, Vinyl, Bon Bon, Lyra, Derpy, and Dr. Hooves… if Dr. Hooves was a unicorn then they would be set.
I just continued to stroke Octavia's mane while she was trembling; I heard her praying to Luna.
"Please Luna, please let it not be to late, please let her live.
I screamed as something sharp was shoved inside of me.
The magic was drawn to the new pain.
I wailed louder than should be possible, I scream and scream.
I scream until my voice is hoarse and still continue.
The pain hurts and Octavia is hold me; her voice is cracked.
It still feels like honey as she speaks "y-you're going to be fine Twilight, you'll live… it isn't to late.
Everything goes black.
Vinyl and I just lay on our bed; we're beaten and battered to the point of no desire rising. It's a nice change compared to what had been happening; when Vinyl had got to me Twilight was gone and the only reason we weren't dead was because of Applejack, Rainbow Dash and even Flutershy fighting for us.
Just like Ponyville we were healing and the next day was going to be a funeral.
I had played my Cello while they laid her coffin in the ground; a haunting and brooding melody that was what she would have wanted.
Vinyl gave words for the poor mare after she was six feet under; she hadn't really known or cared for her but she still spoke to support me.
I didn't cry when it was my turn to lay roses on my mother's grave; I had run out of those when Vinyl and I had found her dead in the streets but my dad… he would be at her grave for a few days before he ran out.
Vinyl had shed tears even; they were more for me than my mother.
It had started to rain as I was putting away my Cello; it was fitting because I had one more thing I had to do; next I went to Twilight's.
Twilight has been forced to stay in bed while healing but if I hadn't shoved a changeling horn - well let's leave that to the imagination - she would be dead.
Vinyl was able to get along with her after she no longer took interest in me aside from as a friend and it probably helped that she was unable to speak.
The creature that had tried to take over her mind was gone; long dead now.
I was still heartbroken; my mother is dead, my father is a wreak, and my friend is in a state of pure agony. I'm sure if it weren't thanks to Applejack things would be a lot harder on Twilight; she wouldn't let others help Twilight, not even Fluttershy.
When we got home I laid down on the bed and Vinyl kissed me; the kiss made me feel calm despite all the dark things that were going on, especially while I started to think of finding the remaining creatures like the one that had started this mess.
I moaned slightly with a sudden lust.
I held Vinyl on top of me greedy.
I licked her neck and she cried out.
She melted on top of me and I continued; she was limp for a moment before she took lead.
She rubbed my belly and it was a soft night "I love when you do that" I felt as if in a dream.
Her muzzle was soft when she kissed my belly; I lost myself to her.
"As long as I have Vinyl it will be easier against these creatures.
Hello everypony, for those of you who read this before the rewrite I apologize. It turns out my writing was on hiatus longer than I thought when it came down to the format of a novel. I can't say that it's perfect but it is without a doubt in my mind a lot better from the original sharing of this work. I'm still considering the sequel but it's still not something I can say will happen. I will for sure write it out if this new version receives relatively good opinions/reviews/ect.
Was it torture for some? On the first version anyone who read it I'm sure will say yes at least on the aspect for the grammar. On this version? I don't know; I feel this was an amazing re-write but I'm probably a little biased with it being one of my own works (it happened with the first draft after all.) I've been told I don't have enough pride in my writing/drawing/designing skills but I feel it's the other way around; I have way to much pride the only thing is I don't like to advertise my pride.
The way the depth of the story changed on the re-write is what makes me feel pride for this one though; it now actually shows the way the emotions were supposed to be from the beginning (well almost.) SPOILER (why are you reading this first?): Octavia actually goes through the emotions that I feel she should have suffered because of becoming a vampire out of bucking no where. Twilight can't control her own emotions when her horn is broken, she eventually gets better and can control her unexpected lust for Octavia and Applejack GASP! sense when was that one shown? (you really should know that one if you read it.)
I still have my story called Meeting Vinyl which will be rewritten (it's started but needs to be edited on what I already started) and sadly it's the shorter one but won't be finished anytime close to when this one will be. This one has been my pet project with my free time from working and well doing nothing.
I still want to give credit where credit is due. I got a few ideas in my mind while reading My Roommate is a Vampire and then the rest from Eyes Without a Face (which ended up helping the most after starting to re-write the story) and I recommend both of these works. I also owe a lot of thanks to the FAQ that talks about writing that was found on this site. Also music from the Bronies (and Pegisisters) that kept my mind in the mood of the story; DJ Pon-3, Living Tombstones, Bagpipe Brony, Sherclop Ponies, Mic the Microphone, Wooden Toaster, and Flutterex just to name a few.
I won't say I'm better at grammar (not even by a long shot) after writing this. I only made myself think about the grammar. I won't bore you with the details of why I'm not the best at grammar or writing in general because it doesn't change the final out come. Thank you for reading this and again if this is your second time reading this with your first time being the first grammatical massacre I apologize.
I woke this morning and flushed feeling a mess between my legs; what did I dream of last night? I didn't really need to ask it had to have been related to Octavia; it was always Octavia. I hated her and how she forced my thoughts with that sweet as honey voice, it trapped my thoughts from that pony I had killed; the one I had stabbed to death with my still broken horn.
It was a sickening memory and I loved it, I wish I could remember when I stabbed her; the sounds of her cries of pain and her begging for her life. I image the taste of her blood in my mouth as I greedily drink from the wounds.
I screeched like I was a little filly at my first Nightmare Night when I thought of blood; I wasn't a vampire like Vinyl or Octavia but I had a stronger blood lust then they did. I could smell it in the air even and I smiled smelling it in the air already with traces of a more alluring scent as well "Twilight? y'all in there?" I almost cooed in response wanting her.
She came into my room and I shut the door behind her; Applejack is an earth pony whose body showed how much she loved her work on the farm. She had stung and sturdy legs that were only comparable to her beautiful mane "Twilight what are-"
I was leaning on her with my mind in a haze "hi Applejack" my voice was laced with something that felt like syrup while I cooed.
She started to shake under my body and I was enjoying it throughly "you feel cold AJ, how about you take a seat?" I had her sit down on the floor and she covered her ears and she started pleading for me to get off of her. I was in love with her please and the way her body felt under mine and the quiver she had to my touch.
I almost most let myself give into the urge to take her and press my lips against hers before taking her body under mine; I retreated back instead with meek apologies.
I hid behind my book fort, it was the only source of comfort I had in this now crazy world that had been created after I had come back from the forest with my broken horn and torn flesh. I cried as the thoughts started to hit me; the thoughts of lust for Octavia and the fear for that thing.
I was sobbing but they caught in my throat when what happened in the forest returned to my memory; I smashed into my book fort destroying it like my last thread of control on the world. That thing had taken me and changed me.
I went into a frenzy losing all control of my magic that ripped the books from the shelves. I roared in pain as the magic having no other target started to tare my body from the inside… it was killing me. My magic was killing me.
And then everything was silent.
Epilodge: The Next Adventure Starts Soon.
The night air is cold against my body and I pull my hat down lower before adjusting my jacket. Manehatten isn't a place you would want to be after dark, but I have my reasons for being in such a dangerous city while dressed to impress.
DJ Pon-3 is at a club performing against Neon Lights it was a paring that was agreed on when we needed some reason to be in this dangerous town; this town that shows that crime still exists in Equestria.
The music from the club picks up and I can hear it out here on the streets but I can't go in and enjoy myself quite yet; can't see that lovely mare in her element I can only walk around these cold streets, waiting.
Then I saw it; somepony out the corner of my eye. I smile but don't give any other signs that I've seen them. It was one of those creatures that I had encountered from Ponyville a month ago; we finally had it.
I didn't tell many ponies about my plans only needing a small handful.
Then I felt that things breath on my neck; I almost laughed sending a sharp punch into the creature's muzzle.
It hit me down and I was stunned.
It was about to stomp on my neck.
Suddenly a blur of cobalt tackled that thing to the ground; even with her vision trouble she was fast and precise.
The creature tried to run but Lyra was ready using her magic to swing a two by four as a club.
It tried to run down the other ally but Bon Bon was there sending a sharp kick into it's jaw.
It's only chance of escape was behind me; I met it head on.
I was stronger and faster after my change.
I flipped it over and was pinning it before anypony knew what was happening.
"Doctor!" with my call Dr. Hooves charged from his hiding place with a syringe clenched in his teeth.
He forced the needle into the creature's neck and it started to writhe under my hooves.
It died and I let out a chuckle of delight "we finally got one of them" we had done it; Derpy, Lyra, Bon Bon, Dr. Hooves and myself did it.
"How about drinks on Vinyl tonight?" we all laughed walking in to the club where Vinyl was getting a brake while Neon Lights played his music.
She gave me a dirty look when I told her she was paying for drinks tonight but when she spoke she made sure everypony could hear her "that's fine, you'll just be working a little harder to earn them.
I went bright red and hit her shoulder hard "do you have to say it that loud?!"
She smiled at me and it reminded me of the day when I got my cutie mark.
