Chapters You don't remember how you got here, and you don't remember why you are running, but you continue to do so out of pure fear of your surroundings. It is dark, hazy, and down right scary. You have been running for quite a while, so you start to slow down to catch your breath.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" You yell, narrowly dodging a purple energy blast. You fumble around to get your footing back.
You decide that stopping is not the best idea.
You can't run for much longer. Running has never really been your strong suit, especially when you are running through the Everfree Forest while being chased by six techni-color ponies. You're still not sure how you have managed to out run them for so long, but you don't really care. You just want to live.
You keep going along the only path you knew. It is the path that the Mane Six took to find the Elements of Harmony.
It is just a big dead end, but you are hoping that you would lose them along the way.
You've reached the spot where Fluttershy tamed the Manticore when you start to feel a tingling sensation all around you.
Upon inspecting yourself, you notice a dark purple aura that resembled the night sky has engulfed you.
You slowly start to rise into the chilled air of the night. As you ascend, you can't help but notice that the aura has slowly started to dissipate. At about one hundred feet, the magical aura has broken away and you were now free falling.
"DEAR LORD PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR ALL PAST SINS AND TELL MY MOM I'M SORRY FOR EATING THE LAST COOKIE!" You scream at the top of your lungs as you quickly speed towards the ground.
* * * * *
"AHHHHHHHHH-What the?" You start to yell only to find yourself in your own bed. You decide to take a gander at the alarm clock. 4:38 am.
"Shit."
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
You knew what was on the other side of that door, you knew what would happen if you answered it, but you still had to answer that damned door.
You tentatively grasp the knob and turn. The second that the door opened an inch; the screaming started.
"WHAT IN GOD'S NAME ARE YOU SCREAMING ABOUT AT THIS UNHOLY HOUR?!" Asked your father in a slightly aggressive voice. Heh.
"Listen Dad I just-"
"JUST WHAT HUH!? DID THE LITTLE BABY HAVE A NIGHTMARE? Hmm?"
"asshole..."
"What was that?" He said in said in a more quite, and much more terrifying voice.
"I said yes sir." You said hoping it would fool him.
"GOOD! Now go back to sleep you little son of a bitch!"

You can't help but groan as your father leaves. He was a pain, and that is all he will ever be.
He used to be a pretty good guy, but then Mom passed away. He couldn't handle her death, so he did the only thing he could think to do. He drowned his sorrows away with beer, liquor, rum, or anything else he could get his hands on.
Though you can't say you were any better. You didn't drink or do drugs, but you shut yourself off from other people. Aside from the internet, you spoke to no one. The only social interaction was when you responded to other peoples Youtube comments, and even then it wasn't going into a whole argument about what they said.
You have tried to talk to other people in the past, but none of the conversations ever took hold and drifted away.
When people asked you why you were so anti-social, you would always tell them the same thing.
"Take a guess."
Then they would ask the same general questions, like "Are you gay?", "Are you emo?", "Are you depressed?".
After several tries someone asked you this.
"Are you a brony?"
That caught your interest. You proceeded to ask him about bronies, and he was more than willing to give you the answers.
Like all of your other conversations, this one started to drift off, but the idea of bronies stuck.
You wondered how grown men and teens could enjoy a show called "My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic" and be willing to tell others about it. Curiosity eventually won over and you decided to give the show a chance.
You fell in love with it immediately
You soon found yourself watching episode after episode. Watching fan-made shorts and reading fan fictions. Listening to the music and enjoying the art. You were a brony and it was awesome.

You have nothing to do today, so you decide to go take a shower. After gathering some clean clothes and a towel, you march straight into the bathroom. Stopping in front of your mirror was not a good idea. You have longish brown hair, deep emerald green eyes, pale skin, are about 5'11", and a little bit on the chubby side. You never quite liked the way you looked but you weren't completely ugly so you couldn't complain.
After your shower you decide to hop in your computer chair and proceed with your usual day of doing nothing productive.
Deciding that you wanted to watch some M.L.P, you go to Youtube and start scanning through the episodes. Not having watched the episode "Party of One" you say that this is your best bet.
The episode has come to an end and got you thinking "Everypony sends Celestia letters about their lessons, but never Luna. I know why they don't send them to her, but what would happen if somepony or even someone wrote her a letter?" You thought to yourself.
Finding the idea humorous you decide to go through with it.
Dear Princess Luna,
I've noticed that no one ever really sends you personal letters, so I wanted to do so.
This is not a letter concerning a lesson in friendship or a request for you to do something, this
is just a way for me to vent my frustrations and troubles. I don't quite understand why I am writing
to a fictional character, but what the heck.
I've never really been good around others. No matter what I did I could never make any friends.
It has never quite bothered me much, but I always wanted at least one friend.
I had always tried to make friends, but never could. This had made me pretty sad and really lonely.
Things only got worse when my mother passed away. Her passing had put me in a huge depression,
and made my father a raging alcoholic. He would get into huge fits over the smallest things and would
take it out on me. Sometimes physically.
I know nothing I write here will do anything but maybe get me more frustrated, but I heard somewhere that this kind of thing is supposed to help. Even if you don't read this,(Which I know you won't) I guess I could say it helped.
Thank you for your time and consideration
Your loyal subject, Red Hearts. .
That wasn't your real name, but you like it better than yours.
After finishing your letter, you decide to mail it like how you've seen Twilight do many times. By getting your dragon to burn it, but unfortunately you don't have a dragon on hand so you get some canned body spray and a lighter and do it yourself.
* * * * *
After nearly sixteen hours of doing absolutely nothing, you think it would be best to get some sleep.
After shutting down your computer you hop out of your chair and flop down on your bed face first.
Figuring out that it hard to breath when your face is smothered in blankets, you flip around to find
a rolled up piece of parchment wrapped in a black ribbon with a stamp in the shape of a crescent moon.
You can't help but just stare at this thing that shouldn't be there.
This shouldn't exist.
This can't be real.
You proceed to slap yourself (while leaving a huge red hand shaped mark on your face) to make sure you're not asleep.
After staring at it for about twenty more seconds, you make a dive for the parchment and yank it open.
Dear Red Hearts,
I can tell from your writing patterns that you do not reside here in Equestria.
And even though you are not technically one of my subjects, it honors me that you
would call yourself one.
What is written in your letter has saddened me so and I would like to help you in any
way I can. With your permission, I would like to enter your dreams this night so we may talk.
I await your response.
Sincerely, Princess Luna
"Whoa..." Is all you can muster after you read it for the tenth time in a row.
To say that you are nervous would be the same as saying Kamina is a badass. It's completely obvious and there is no need to bring it up. After torching a response letter, you start pacing the your room, worrying about what will happen and what she will think of you.
"I'm going to meet Princess Luna!"
"What should I wear?"
"How bad do I smell?" *sniff* *sniff*
"Wait. It's a dream. Does it even matter?"
After contemplating how your image in the world of dreams might reflect your actual appearance, you figure showering would be the best course of action. Making sure that there is no smell left on your body, you hop out of the shower, dry yourself off, and head for bed. You lay your head down on to the fluffy pillow, close your eyes to rest.
'...'
'...'
'...'
'...'
Well it looks like it's going to be one of those night.
You toss and turn, trying to fine a comfortable position to go to sleep. You try several different positions only to realize that you spent about an hour just moving around in your bed. Trying to find a way to get yourself to go to sleep; you let your mind wander to see if it comes up with anything good, and as usual it just sits in your head and does nothing. You are running out of ideas and you start to become desperate.
After thinking of completely horrid ideas such as, "Taking a hammer to the head" or "Swallowing a bottle of sleeping pills".
You start to really think about the pills.
"Would it really be a good idea to meet a pony princess, while being doped up on sleeping pills? Nah. But it does sound like fu-" You start to say only to be interrupted be a calming voice.
"There will be no need for sleep aids. Just relax and I will take care of the rest."
Being startled by the sudden body-less voice, you decide that it was a better idea than the pills. Hell, it wouldn't be the first time you listened to a voice that was in your head.
* * * * *
Again you try to just lay down and relax, and you can't see it ending any different then it did last time. While you wait for sleep to come, you start to think of what she wishes to talk to you about. Every fanfic you have ever read is starting to come to mind, even some of the more indecent ones. 'God, I hope she doesn't ask to search my mind... That would be hard to explain' You thought, shivering at the very idea of someone or somepony seeing that. You weren't really into that stuff, but curiosity had reared its ugly head on more than one occasion.
You soon feel your eye-lids start to get heavy and your yawns become more frequent. You noticed the waking world is quickly slipping away.
* * * * *
You come to a void of mass nothingness. Within this nothingness is a single white door. Looking around the dark void, you see no other options, so the door was your best bet as to progressing through this... whatever this is. Upon closer inspection of the door, you see a crescent moon engraved into the wood. 'Gee, I wonder who is behind this door.' You think to yourself.
You grasp the handle to the door, but you stop. 'Princess Luna is just beyond this door. Am I ready to meet one such as her?' You ask yourself.
Throwing all unreasonable caution to the wind, you firmly grasp the handle, turn it, fling the door open and walk right though. This side of the door is much brighter than the other. This new environment reminds you of your old windows desktop. There are hills every where and it's all covered in deep green grass. The only thing that was out of the ordinary about this place were the little specks of golden light flowing in the wind. It was a simple, yet beautiful sight.
All you wanted to do was sit in the grass and enjoy your surroundings, but you had somepony you had to meet and you never keep a lady waiting.
Pulling your attention away from the little light show, you start looking around for the Lunar royalty, but she in nowhere in sight. You are confused as to why you are having such a hard time finding Luna in such a bright setting. Looking around one last time, you decide to just choose a direction and follow it. After walking for about five minutes you hear a loud *THUMP* from behind, and you realize that your search has come to an end.
* * * * *
You turn around to see none other than the princess herself. For a second, you think you see a over-joyed expression that could match even Pinkie Pie's, but her smile quickly shrinks into a small grin. She takes a few eager steps towards you and looks at you expectantly. All you can do is just stare back. The scene starts to get a little awkward, and never being one for uncomfortable silences, you decide to speak up.
"Greetings your Highness. I am Red Hearts and it is a pleasure to finally meet you." You say, bowing slightly. This made her smile grow.
"Please, the pleasure is is all mine." She responds in a cheery voice, while lowering her head in a bow like stance, only to rise quicker then you would have expected possible.
"Unfortunately, time tends to pass much quicker in a dream,so I'm afraid we must get strait to the point." She said in a suddenly much more serious tone.
You open your mouth to say something, only to be interrupted by Luna. "Please, take a seat." She said, gesturing to a small wooden chair that sat across from a bench with a square table, with a porcelain tea set on it in between. You could've sworn none of that was there a second ago.
You take your seat and the princess sits on the small couch, tucking her legs comfortably under herself. She levitates the kettle over two of the tea-cups and fills them. She brings one cup over to herself and offers one to you.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about, your highness?" You ask, taking the cup from the air.
" There is no need for the formalities. Just call me Luna. Now as for the reason that I wanted to talk to you; I want to offer you a choice. A choice that will change the course your life. Do you understand?" She asks you.
" I understand." You answer back, hoping that this is going where you think it is.
"Good. From what I have seen over the past few months, you tend to keep to yourself and not really talk to anypony, I intend to change that. I know how it feels to not be able to make friends, no matter how hard you try. But you are different from me. You have shown to be a kind and understanding pon-err, human and are just not sure how to approach others.
I am offering you two choices." She stated, but hesitated to go any further.
"Is something wrong Luna?" You ask, curious as to why she stopped. If she heard you, she didn't show it.
"Like I said, I am offering you two choices. The first is to come back with me to Equestria, and allow me to watch over you in the following month. In said month, You will try to attain ten true friends. If you fail to do so, you will be sent back to your home with no memory of what had happened." She said as she watched you carefully to make sure you are following along.
"The second choice is to remain home, alone in your life. With no friends. None. At all." She said as she levitated two cupcakes over to you. One had red frosting, and the other had blue frosting.
'She's really doing this, isn't she?' You think to yourself while you look down at the cupcakes in your hands.
"You eat the blue frosted cupcake, the story ends and you wake up in your bed and believe what ever you want. You eat the red frosted cupcake, I take you to Equestria, and help you know just how far friendship can take you." She says, staring deep into your soul.
You start to bring the red frosted one up to your mouth, but she interrupes you.
"Remember, all I offer you is help, nothing more."
You take a bite of the red frosted cupcake and drink your tea.
"Good. Follow me." She says with a small smirk.
She stands up and opens her horn begins to glow. A large wooden door appears with a bright flash, she uses her magic to open the door and she walks through. You get up and follow her through the doorway. You can't shake the feeling that this is going to come back to bite you an the ass.
* * * * * P.O.V: Mayor Mare * * * * *
It had been a long day. Form, after form, after form. Nothing interesting had happened in awhile, which is pretty strange considering where you lived. It had been several months after Miss. Sparkle had ascended to her princess status, and nothing of notice has happened. This had concerned you, because it was when things were most peaceful; was when something weird or dangerous happened. You had a feeling that something was going to happen. Something BIG. Your day was almost over when you heard somepony say something.
"Um, are you Mayor Mare?" Said the other pony.
What was she doing here? She had no right to be in Ponyville, much less your office.
"Yes I am. How may I help you?" You ask. She winced at the venom in your voice.
"I understand that you are angry with me, but hear me out." She pleaded. "I just want to apologize." This really surprised you. She must have noticed it, so she continued. "Yes, I know. Thinking back on what I did, I realize that I was wrong. Really wrong, but I wish to make amends. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm sorry"
All you could do is stare at her with a deadpan expression and say "I'm not the one you need to apologize to."
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"I mean you need to apologize to the ponies of Ponyville publicly. I will gather everypony together outside townhall, where you will apologize to all of them. That is what I mean." You scold.
"O-ok." She squeaked, as she turned to leave.
Deciding not to let her leave on a sour note, you called her back. "Wait!"
"Yes?" She asked, a bit confused.
You got up from your chair and trotted over to her with a warm smile and said "You may have been to horrible to everypony, but you have shown that you have seen the error of your ways. Meet me here at two o'clock tomorrow. Oh and, Trixie, apology accepted".
"Thank you." She said with a small smile on her face.
The Next Day
* * * * * P.O.V: Trixie * * * * *
Townhall.
You were waiting behind the large front doors as Mayor Mare got the crowd ready for your announcement. After about five minutes, you heard this, "Now allow me to introduce our guest.". She opened the door and poked her head in and told you that it was time to come out.
"Do you think that the will forgive me?" You asked, walking through the door.
"I'm not sure Trixie. Let us just hope for the best from them." Replied Mayor Mare.
A hush washed over the crowd as you walk out. The silence would not have been bad if everypony weren't wearing expressions of hatred mixed with a little bit of confusion. You walked up to the stand with the mic to begin you apology, only to be interrupted by a certain mare with a spectrum colored mane.
"What is she doing back here!?" Yelled Rainbow Dash over the crowds silence.
With that, all that was audible was the heated comments coming from the crowd.
"I'm just trying to-" You tried to explain, only to have rotten produce thrown at you. You duck out of the way as a head of cabbage flies past you. "Please just let me expla-" You said into the mic, only to have to dodge a magical blast that was shot from somewhere in the crowd.
Tears started to form in the corners of your eyes. You knew that no matter how much you try to apologize, they would always hate you. You knew they wouldn't give you a chance, so you did the only thing you could think to do. You ran. You ran past the crowd. You ran past Ponyville. You ran into the Everfree Forest.
* * * * * P.O.V: Twilight * * * * *
You were in the back of the crowd watching in horror as Trixie is ran off of the stage by Ponyville's citizens. You couldn't stand to see somepony get treated like that, even if she had tried to hurt your friends and take over Ponyville. With a glow of your horn and a bright flash you found yourself on in front of the now cheering crowd.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PONIES!?" You shouted into the mic, causing everypony to wince from the increased volume.
"You all heard the mayor! She was trying to apologize for everything, yet you still treat her like trash! She has seen that she had done wrong and she wanted to set things right, but do you give her the chance? NO! You just cast her out!" You called into the mic.
You ran off of the stage after Trixie, hoping to catch up with her.
* * * * * P.O.V: Trixie * * * * *
You ran as far as your hooves could take you. You ran far, and you ran fast until you found yourself in a clearing in the Everfree Forest. You were too exhausted to go any further. You found a good spot to rest. It was dark now and the Everfree looked too menacing for most ponies, but you were not most ponies. Nopony else knew it, but this is where you had lived. You had no home and your stage/wagon had broken down a few weeks before, so you slept where you could find shelter, even if it was under a tree or beside a large rock.
You had hoped that Ponyville would accept your apology so you could get a job and find someplace to live, but you knew that it was just a waste of everypony's time. You were getting very tired from today's events, but as much as you want to sleep, you could not. The tears flowing from your eyes kept you awake and unable to rest.
You had been crying for what seemed like hours. All was quite while you wept, until somepony put a hoof on your ba- wait not a hoof, but a hand.
"Hey, are you alright?" Asked a concerned voice.
Five Minutes Earlier, Dream World
* * * * * P.O.V: Red Hearts * * * * *
You were about to follow Luna through the door when you asked “So what you’re saying is. If I don’t make ten true friends by the Summer Sun Celebration, I will be sent back to Earth where I will forget everything that happened?”
"That about sums up your task." She mused.
"And, the Summer Sun Celebration is in exactly one month?" You asked.
"Yes."
There were many questions running through your head, but only two weighed heavily on your mind.
"So when we get there, will I transform into a pony?" You asked in a slightly worried voice.
"I... am not certain. The only other time a human came to Equestria was when I was still under the influence of Night Mare Moon," She said. A shiver went up her spine at the thought of her confinement to the moon.
'There was a human in Equestria before me?' You thought to yourself.
"I know that he did eventually turn into a pony, but I am not sure if it was by entering Equestria, or by a spell he performed." Said Luna, doing her best to inform you.
"Oh well, I was just wondering if I would- wait. Did you say a spell he performed?" You asked surprised.
"Yes. He was a powerful wizard. As a pony he went by the name of Starswirl the Bearded, but I think he was truly called Merlin." She said with a shrug.
Your eyes went wide at that name. 'That is just too damn awesome! Who would have thought that Merlin was real!?' You shouted in your head.
You looked at Luna to see that an impatient look has dawned upon her face. You didn’t want to delay the two of you from walking through the door for any longer, but there was another question that was plaguing your mind.
"One more question, your highness." She very clearly rolled her eyes at this. "If I do manage to complete the task, what would happen?"
"What do you mean?" She asked
"I mean if I make ten true friends within a month, will I get sent back home with the memories, or will I stay in Equestria?" You asked with a hopeful glint in your eye.
"Well of course you will stay. I would think that to be obvious." She stated with a bit of sarcasm in her voice. "Now it is about time we got going. It may not seem like it, but keeping this door open is quite strenuous."
"Oh sorry. Let us be off!" You exclaimed.
You finally followed Luna through the door with a little bounce in your step. Upon exiting the door, you saw that is was still early into the night, and you were in the Everfree Forest. Not a good combination. You turned around to ask the Princess why she would pick here to drop you off instead of anywhere else like Ponyville or Canterlot, only to see that both Luna and the door had disappeared.
"Well that's just fantastic. I have no idea where the fuck I am, and I have no clue as to where it is that I am supposed to go!" You shouted into the air and received a lone, far off, howl in response. "Perhaps I should keep my voice down," You said quietly.
'If I were a civilization filled with colorful marshmallow ponies where would I be?' You thought to yourself. You wandered around the Everfree Forest for a few minutes until you came to a clearing.
'This should be a good place to rest until morning.' You thought as you finally started to relax, that is until you heard someone crying. You instantly forgot about the problem at hand and focused of the crying. You hated to know someone felt bad and you could have done nothing for them, so you would go out of your way to try to comfort anyone who was feeling down.
You only looked around for a few seconds before you noticed the distressed pers- pony was Trixie. You were a bit hesitant when you saw her, because she had humiliated the Mane six and tried to take over Ponyville, but your hesitation barely lasted a second. You slowly walked up to her, crouched down to be on her level, and placed a hand on her back.
"Hey, are you alright?" You could feel her muscles tense at the surprise of your question.
She shot you a look, not of fear like you had been expecting, but of curiosity.
"Why would you care? Everypony hates me!" She yelled at you. "I am just a horrible pony that has done horrible things to so many ponies. I deserve all of the hate they’re giving me."
"Hey! Never say stuff like that. I'm not sure why you are so upset, or what you did to make everypony hate you," You lied. "But, let me tell you this. I have made mistakes in the past and some ponies hate me for it, but I don't let their hate get to me. So if you like, why don't you tell me exactly what happened and maybe I can help?"
“O-Okay” She mumbled wiping away a tear.
She went on to tell you the things she had done in the past and when she went to apologize publicly to everypony, they started to throw produce and trash at her.
"You know what it sounds like to me?" You received an expectant stare in response. "I think you made some mistakes in your past, but you saw what you did was wrong and you did the right thing. Remember, it's not the mistakes that make you who you are, but it is what you do after the mistakes that defines you." You said. A small smile appeared on her face.
"Thank you for making me feel better, but what about the ponies who don't accept my apology and still hate me?" She asked with a sad tone slowly coming back to her voice.
"If they start harassing you just ignore them. Lets do a little exercise that I did when I was picked on, shall we?" You said as you stand up and offer her your hand.
"Okay if you think it will really work, but before we go on, I don't think I ever got your name." She said with a small smile.
"Oh why where are my manners? Red Hearts at your service madam." You said in a fancy voice, giving a slight bow.
She gave a light chuckle and proceeded to bow as well. "Oh why you are quite the gentlecolt. I am Trixie, and may I say it is quite pleasant to make your acquaintance sir." She said in a fancy voice much like yours. You both laughed.
"Well now that introductions are out of the way, shall we proceed?" You asked
"If you think that this will help, then gladly." She responded.
"Okay this is how this is going to work. I am going to fling as many insults at you as I can, and you are just going to ignore them. Got that?"
She nodded. You proceed to throw a few petty insults her way and she did a good job of ignoring them.
"You are useless!"
She flinched. That one seemed to strike a nerve.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT TRIXIE!?" She asked in a loud voice that would give Luna a run for her money. You were wondering why she hadn’t been talking in the third person until then. Third pony? I don't know.
After checking to make sure your ears were still functioning, you try to say "Trixie I was-".
"TRIXIE IS NOT USELESS! TRIXIE HAS A GREATER GRASP ON MAGIC THAN MOST OTHER UNICORNS! IS THAT USELESS!?" She roared.
Damn this is really starting to hurt. You thought to yourself.
"Listen. Trixie I- ARRRGGG" you started to explain, only to be hit in the side with a purple magical blast.
"Leave her alone!" Shouted the unknown source of the blast. You look in the direction of the blast to see a very angry looking Princess Twilight and the other Mane six. You turn to see where Trixie was standing only to see the tip of her white tail rushing behind the trees. You look back at the now advancing group of mares.
'Well, I'm fucked.'
After the "Apology"
* * * * * P.O.V: Twilight * * * * *
You had started to run after Trixie, but you had started to lose her in the forest. Luckily you ran into Fluttershy and asked her to go get the other girls so they could help. She flew off as fast as she could and soon all of your friends were gathered. You quickly formulated a plan. Rainbowdash and Fluttershy would search the skies, Pinkie and Applejack would search the ground while you and Rarity would try to sense Trixie's magic with your own.
You all had been looking for about an hour when you saw Fluttershy speed towards you.
"Oh Twilight, come quick! I found Trixie, but there is this strange creature that is saying very mean things to her!" Exclaimed Fluttershy in a very worried tone.
"Okay Fluttershy calm down. Start gathering up the girls and we will go face this thing together." You said in a soothing tone, trying to calm her down.
Fluttershy soon came back with came back with the others and started to explain what she saw.
"I have never seen a creature like that before. It had no fur, except for on top of its head. It walked on two legs and had no hooves. It had hands like spike, but with five claws instead of four." She explained.
'Weird. That sounds like those creatures that Lyra is always going on about. You thought to yourself.
"Well we need to get there fast. It sounds like Trixie is in trouble."
You arrive within a few minutes to see that Trixie is shouting rather loudly at the creature.
"TRIXIE IS NOT USELESS! TRIXIE HAS A GREATER GRASP ON MAGIC THAN MOST OTHER UNICORNS! IS THAT USELESS!?" She screamed at the creature.
"Listen. Trixie I- ARRRGGG" It started to explain only to be interrupted by one of your most powerful magical projectiles.
"Leave her alone!"
Strange. That blast would have knocked out a hydra. Why is he still moving?'It doesn't matter now. This possibly dangerous creature is threatening somepony and I need to stop it.
* * * * * P.O.V: Red Hearts * * * * *
You sit there and stared at the five very scary looking cartoon ponies and the one that hid behind the rest, as they approached you,so you did the only reasonable thing you could think of. You ran like a little bitch.
You ran as fast as you legs could go somehow managing to keep a good distance between you and your pursuers. You didn't quite know how you were doing it, but you didn't care. You knew what they were capable of and you didn't want to face their pony wrath.
The more you ran, the more you thought of the dream you had the night before.
'This is not what I meant when I said that living in Equestria would be a dream come true.' You thought before a purple blast of magic grazed your side.
"Oh shit!" You screamed in surprise. You looked back and saw that they were getting close. Too close.
You ran until you came to a large cliff. You looked over the edge to see what was about a three story drop. At the bottom was a road. The only pony that was on said road was a large grey stallion pulling a large cart with a huge pile of hay.
You looked back to the ponies chasing you and saw that they were pretty damn close. You looked back to that stallion pulling the cart, who was now directly below you , and an idea formed in your head.
'Well, I can't say I didn't want to try this.' You thought as you got ready to leap.
"One, Two...fuck it i’m assassin’s creeding this shit." You said as you ran forward and swan dove off the edge.
Your aim was true and you landed in the hay, only to hit your head on a hidden toolbox.

'Who is that this early in the morning?' You thought to yourself. You had only been asleep for what seemed like seconds, but it had been more along the lines of ten hours. You looked out of the window that was beside your bed and saw the sun was about half way through the sky, so it was about noon. It was too damn early for company.

You pulled you pillow over your head to block out the pounding at your door with a resentment towards the evil creature interrupting your peaceful slumber.
*knock knock*
You hated yourself for staying up so late. You had gone out with a few of your girlfriends (marefriends?) to some new club on the outskirts of Ponyville. Nothing more than a fuzziness came to mind when you tried to picture last nights events.
*knock knock*
You decided to get up, most to your chargin, and open the accursed entryway to your not so humble abode.
"I'm coming!" You shouted, only to curse your idiocy at agitating your migraine. That was your price to pay for the "Mare's night out" you had participated in the previous night.
You reluctantly pulled the door open and had to quickly shut your eyes from the sun’s painful rays. "I have a delivery for a Miss. Bon Bon," said a voice from behind the bright light. "I'm her housemate," you responded after letting your eyes adjust to the brightness of the daylight. He pulled out a notepad and replied. "Okie dokie then, if would just sign here and here," said the now visible dark grey stallion while pointing to a few lines on the notepad he held out in front of him with his hoof.
Grabbing the pen with your magic from the top of the notepad, you signed your name and replaced the writing utensil. He gave a small smile and with a sigh of relief, released the large cart from his back.
You turned to inspect what your friend had ordered and saw a cart with a rather sizable amount of hay. You started to wonder why she would buy so much at once until you heard the sounds of somepony moaning from it. You trotted up to the pile and started inspecting it. The moaning had stopped during your inspection and a strange creature sat up through the hay and brought a claw-like appendage to its head.
"What the hell happened?" Asked the creature. It started looking around when its eyes stopped on you. It opened its mouth to say something only to be silenced by a rock to the head.
You had just been staring at the creature when several thoughts came to your mind, "One, what is this thing, two, why is it in Bon Bon's hay, and three, where did that rock come from?" The creature wasn't going anywhere now, so you decide to investigate the rock situation. You look around for the origin of the flying rock to find a very scared looking cream colored mare with a dark purple and pink mane.
"Bon Bon! What the hay!? Why’d you do that!?" You shouted at her, a little peeved that she would be so hasty as to throw a rock at somepony before giving them a chance to explain themselves, and once again, causing yourself to wince and rub your temple.
"What was that thing?" She asked in a worried manner, ignoring your question.
"We might have known by now if you hadn't bashed its head in with a rock," you retorted with a bit of venom in your voice. "Come on and help me get it inside so I can take a look at it," you said as you started to push the cart around your the back of your house.
"Are you crazy?! That thing could be dangerous! For all we know, it could control some sort of evil magic!" She Exclaimed as she started following you, sounding very scared.
"It could also be very hurt and need our help, thanks to you," you replied in a demanding tone. Bon Bon face fell at this. You stopped pushing the cart, and looked at her and saw a tear rolling down her muzzle.
"Listen Bon Bon I-" You started to say, but stopped. You knew that she was probably just looking out for you, but this poor creature didn't do anything that you knew of, so you were shocked to see that Bon Bon chucked a rather large rock at it.
You nuzzled her neck and said "Listen, I know you were scared, but you shouldn't have just attacked it without knowing its intentions. For all we know, it could be lost or scared. So what I'm trying to say is, I'm sorry for snapping at you like that."
Bon Bon looked up at you with watery eyes and a small smile. "You're right. I shouldn't have done what I did, but I was scared that thing was going to hurt you. Now lets get it inside before anypony else sees it." With that, you and Bon Bon pushed the cart behind your house and pulled the large creature out of the hay stack.

* * * * * P.O.V: Red Hearts * * * * *
"Hehehe. First night in Equestria and you already made a friend, not bad. But you did manage to rile up The Elements of Harmony in the process, so I would not count it as a win just yet," said a far-off voice.
"Hmm?" You asked sleepily.
"Come now, you are in my dream realm, but you still want to sleep? I am not certain if it is your head injury, or you are just being lazy," said the still far-off yet somewhat familiar voice.
You picked yourself up into a sitting position and looked around. You see a familiar black void all around you. You try to stand but a searing hot pain shoots through your skull, so you decide to remain seated.
"Hello?" You called into the void.
"Greetings. I am glad to see you are awake."
"Who said that!?" You half asked, half yelled into the blackness.
"..."
"Hello!?"
"Strange, you call out a greeting and are surprised to be greeted in return. You humans are so intriguing." Said a now very familiar voice.
"Princess Luna?" You asked sheepishly.
"It seems you have figured it out. I was beginning to wonder if you ever would," she said in a slightly sarcastic tone.
"Hahaha, very funny. Now can you fill me in on what happened? I don't remember much." You asked in an annoyed, but playful voice.
Hmmm when did you become so friendly with the princess?
"I would love to," she said with a snicker in her voice.
She started to tell you of the nights events, starting from when you were talking to Trixie, she then told you that you had accidentally insulted her by calling her useless. Next was when The Elements came into the clearing and saw her yelling and crying and assumed the worst. She went on to tell you about the chase and how you so stupidly jumped three stories into a pile of hay and banged your head of a toolbox.
After hearing all of that all you could do was sit there and let a blank expression hold your face.
"Are you okay?" Asked the Princess.
"I regret nothing." You couldn't see it, but you just know she facehoofed.
"Well that is all well and good, but you should probably wake up soon. It is rude to keep a lady waiting." Said the Princess in a coy sort of way.
"What do you-" You started to ask, but you get interrupted by a pulling sensation in your chest. With a flash of light you wake to your vision filled with hay.
You pulled yourself out from the pile and asked, "What the hell happened?" You turned your head to get a better grasp on your surroundings and spot a mint green unicorn with a light green mane with a white stripe.
You were about to ask where you were, but a sharp pain to the side of your head took that chance away. You were knocked out yet again.
You dreamt of green exploding monsters, squidwards and butter.
I am really sorry about the lateness of this chapter. There is a bunch of reasons why I didn't get this out sooner, but it was mostly due to my lack of a computer. My old laptop mysteriously snapped in two for COMPLETELY unexplainable reasons.
Again, I am really sorry about release date and length. I wanted to get this out as fast as I could so I split it in two.
I am working on a new story that I think will be even better that this one, but it won't be released for awhile.
Oh and one more thing, I am in desperate need of pre-readers. Someone who will read the story before editation to give me better ideas on how to make the chapter sound better and stuff like that. Any help would be great.
And again, thanks for reading!
P.S: Thanks to macandchees6 for editing!
Heartstrings and Harmony (Part two of two)
"No! I just mined those!" You shouted as you sprang up from your slumber.
"Umm, just mined what?" Asked a curious voice. You looked around for the the source of the voice, but all you found was that you were laying on a small couch in, what you would guess to be somebody's living room.
"Hello? Is anybody there?" You asked in the hope the owner of the other voice would make themselves known.
"Oh hello! I'm in the kitchen!" The voice called back in a more cheery tone.
You decided it would be a good idea to go meet the nice person who took you in when you were unconscious, so you tried to stand up. All that accomplished was you hitting your head on the ceiling. ”Why would I hit my head on the ceiling? I'm pretty short for my age.” You asked yourself.
You started to wonder why you were now suddenly taller when a mint green pony came into the living room levitating a plate with a pile of intoxicatingly good smelling oatmeal cookies. 'Oh yeah, that's why.' You thought to yourself, remembering exactly why everything is smaller than back at home, also relishing in the scent of those cookies.
She trotted over to the couch you were just laying on and took a seat, but not in the way you were expecting. She didn't sit upright with her hind legs hanging over the edge like a human, but she sat with her legs tucked under her. She set the plate of cookies on the table in front of the couch and beckoned you to sit with her.
You sat with right foot on the ground and your left leg on top of your right knee. It must have looked pretty weird to her, because she stared at you with a strange look in her eyes for a few seconds before saying this "So I know you can talk, because you were saying something about your pickaxe breaking while you were out, so tell me... What are you?" This caught you off guard. You were expecting a lot of questions from her, but not that one.
She must have noticed your surprised expression, because she held out a hoof and quickly said "Oh, where are my manners? My name Lyra. Lyra Heartstrings. What is your name?"
With a small smile, you grip her hoof in your hand and say "I'm Red Hearts, but you can just call me Red. It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Heartstrings."
"Oh please, just call me Lyra." She said, her cheeks turning a light shade of red.
”Heh, cute.” You think to yourself.
"So, if you don't mind, I have a few questions that I wanted to ask you," she said taking a more serious tone.
"And I have some answers that I would like to give you."
"Good, so lets get started!" She responded. "First I have to ask, what are you, exactly?"
"Well Lyra, I am what is known as a human." You answered in a classy voice.
"What's a human?"
"A human is a tall, bipedal race that we believed evolved from apes."
"Apes huh? That certainly sounds weird."
"Ouch Lyra, I'm hurt," you said, placing a hand on your chest and mocking a surprised expression.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to- You're being sarcastic aren't you?"
"Maybe..." You replied with as a smile crept onto your face.
"You wake up in a strangers house after being knocked out for what I'm guessing to be the second time, and you are cracking jokes?" Lyra said, bringing a hoof to her chin. "I was right, humans are weird."
"I can't argue with that logic. Got anything else you would like to ask me?" You asked.
"Well there is one thing that I would like to know."
"And that would be?"
"Why were you in my house mates hay delivery?" She asked in a suspicious voice.
"Ah, now that is a good question. Let me start from the beginning," You replied. You went on to tell her everything that had happened after you sent that letter to Princess Luna. About how you found a crying Trixie and tried to console her, and how The Elements of Harmony happened to show up at the worst possible time.
"It was like some outside, all-knowing being made them show up at the worst possible time!" You exclamed, throwing your hands in the air.
'Muahahaha!!!!!!!!!!'
"Anyway, where was I?"
"Twilight Sparkle had just blasted you over," replied Lyra.
"Oh right," you said. You continued to explain what had happened up until the moment you decided to make the jump.
"Why did you stop?" She asked.
"Well here is where I got a little stupid."
"What do you mean?"
"Like I said, I had reached an edge to a cliff. I looked over the side and saw a grey colored pony pulling a cart full of hay. I decided that a group of six angry mares was a lot more dangerous than a three story fall, so I jumped into the hay where I hit my head on something hard and blacked out. The rest of the story you already know," you explained.
"Where in Equestria would you get an idea like that?" She scolded.
"It was from some stupid thing back home." You answered, thinking back on the days when you would spend hours playing those games. Ahh memories.
"Well if story time is over, we should probably get going," Lyra said as she got up from her spot on the couch.
"Where are we going?" You asked in a curious manner.
"Well from what I understand, There is a group of six ponies out there looking for a certain human and need to be told that it was all one big misunderstanding," she replied.
"Okay, but what about Trixie? She might still be lost in the forest," you said.
"We could look for her by ourselves, but we would stand a far better chance with the Elements helping us search," she retorted.
"I guess I see your point, but I still don't feel comfortable with this," you said.
* * * * * * * *
Lyra had taken you to go try to explain what had happened between you and Trixie to the Elements, but she didn't want to scare the towns ponies, so Lyra casted a disguise spell on you to make you look like a normal pony. You looked into a puddle and saw a very familiar face. Your pony disguise had yellow eyes, a red coat and a short brown mane and tail with no cutie mark.
'You have to be kidding me... Of all of the OC's created, she makes me look like this.' You thought to yourself.
"My magic is not that strong, so the disguise will only last for an hour or so. Until then, lets get going!" Explained Lyra.
"Who do you think we should go to first?" You asked.
"Twilight. She is the most level headed of the group. Most of the time that is. So if we can get her to believe you, then the rest should follow suit."
"I suppose that makes sense." You said as you followed Lyra down the market place. You looked around and noted that Ponyville is actually bigger then one would think from the show, but it was still pretty small compared to some places back on Earth. It was small enough that everypony knew each other, big enough where you could still get lost easily.
You and Lyra had just passed a pony who was running a pear stand when you heard a loud gasp from behind you. Both of you turn around to see a very distinctive pink blur going in the direction of what you could only guess is Sugarcube Corner.
"That can only end badly." You said to Lyra. "Well she has never met you before, so she probably went off to start planing your "Welcome To Ponyville" party." She explained with a smile.
"That's what I'm afraid of."You said, lowering your head as you continued walking.
"What do you mean?" She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.
"Well, I have never been good at social gatherings, events, or just being social. I could never make many friends, and what friends I could make never stayed around very long."You said expecting her to give you the usual 'Oh don't be sad.' routine you get from everybody you have ever told about your social issues.
"Don't give me that crap." Lyra scolded.
Huh? You thought, raising your head to look at her. She had a very stern look on her face. "What do you mean?"
"I mean that is a huge lie. You say you aren't very social, but what about me huh? We have only known each other for a few hours, but I already consider you a very good friend."
"Really!?" You exclaim rather loudly.
"Of course I do! You are funny, nice, caring, compassionate and sensitive but not in a crybaby sort of way." She explained
"When have I showed you compassion?" You asked a little confused.
"You didn't show me compassion, but when you saw Trixie crying, you didn't try to comfort her for any selfish gain, but because you honestly felt bad for her and wanted to help." She answered.
"Oh. I thank I understand what you mean, but I still don't like the idea of a "Welcome to Ponyville" party." You said.
"Come on it will be fun! You just need to relax and talk to everypony."
"I don't know, I think I-" You started to say only to be interrupted by Lyra. "Oh look we are here!" She yelled.
"Hmm, I guess we are." You said as you and Lyra approached the door. You were about to go up and knock when you heard shouting from the other side. You put a ear up to the door to get a better listen. "I'm just saying that maybe we shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. For all we know, it may have been a big misunderstanding!"
"Ah don't know Twi, it was yellin' some pretty harsh things at her." Said a southern voice you guessed belonged to Applejack.
"Well she did yell at us to stop before she ran off." Said a very quite voice you could barely hear.
"That is true. I do believe She wanted us to stop. She did look pretty desperate." Said a very classy voice.
You take your ear away from the door to knock. After doing so, you hear Twilight call "One moment please!", so you and Lyra just stood there.
"Hey Lyra?" You said.
"Yes?" Said Lyra looking over at you curiously.
"I just wanted to say, thank you. For What you said earlier. Those were the nicest things anyone- err, anypony has ever said to me." You say with a small smile. You couldn't see because she looked away, but you could tell she was blushing.
* * * * * * * * *
You and Lyra explained what had happened the night before and why you what you and Trixie were doing. You, Lyra and five of the six Elements set out in the Everfree looking for both Trixie and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash felt terrible for making Trixie run away in tears,so she never gave up looking for her. This concerned you greatly, because Trixie had run from the little meeting you had with the Elements almost thirteen hours ago.
You and the rest of the group decided to split up and spread out the search. Everypony was split up into pairs, except for you. You voted to go by yourself so everypony else would have a partner. You had been searching for about forty-five minutes and your hooves were getting sore.
"Wow having hooves is actually pretty difficult." You complained to yourself.
'I wonder where she could be. This forest is a lot more creepy then the show let on and I would like to get out of here as fast as I could. You thought to yourself. You were about to start calling out to her again when you heard the snap of a twig from behind you. You were still on edge from the forest, so you whipped around as fast as you could to get a look at the maker of the noise. You were expecting a cockatrice, or a timberwolf, but what you got was a very tired and messy looking Trixie.
"Who- Who are you?" She asked weakly.
"Oh Trixie, thank Celestia you're alright!" You cheered as you rushed over to help keep her from falling.
"Thank you, but you didn't answer my question." Said Trixie.
"It's me Red. I know I look different, but I can explain that later, right now, we need to get you some safe." You said.
"Oh Red? Okay, but would you mind if I fell asleep on your back. I don't think I could go much farther and you look strong enough to carry me." She asked through a yawn, to which you replied "Of course. Just hop on and I'll carry you back."
She had done so and not even a whole minute later, you could hear cute little snores coming from the light blue pony on your back.
* * * * * * * *
It was getting dark when you found your way out of the Everfree. 'Thank Christ I'm out of there. The place gives me the willies.' You thought to yourself. You found everypony else on the edge of the forest standing around with worried expressions on their faces. Ponyville was just visible off in the distance.
"Hey everypony. I found Trixie, but she is asleep right now so be super quite. She was really tired when I found her. I don't think she has gotten any sleep last night, so lets not try to wake her just yet." You said quietly to the group. Everypony agreed and started walking back towards Ponyville.
Not long after you started walking, you started to feel a dull pain in your chest. You asked what it might be and Lyra said "You might want to put Trixie down, think you are about to change back to your normal self.".
You set her down and stepped away from her. About thirty seconds later, The dull pain in your chest became more intense. The pain was followed by a bright flash of light and you found yourself on the fetal position clutching your chest. After the pain disappeared, you picked yourself up off of the ground and dusted off your clothes. You thanked the powers that be that Lyra's spell didn't make your clothes disappear. You started stretching your muscles, while everypony else, Except for Lyra and Trixie, gawked at your true body, but the one who was most fascinated was Rarity, but only by your clothes.
"Oh darling, these clothes are simply gorgeous!" She exclaimed loudly.
After checking on Trixie to see her still snoring, you replied "Really? These clothes are more fit for comfort rather than being fashionable.". It was true, you were just wearing a pair of grey sweat pants, a black T-shirt that read "Chaos is Magic" in a explosion of colors and a black slipper. You were guessing you lost the other on at some point.
"Of course, but the colors are a bit bland but I have never seen any thing like it! But I do have one question." She said.
"What is it?" You asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What does it mean by "Chaos is Magic"? She asked bringing a hoof to her chin.
"Oh that means-" You started to say, but you didn't want to tell them about M.L.P F.i.M just yet. Luckily Twilight said this "Look up in the sky! I think that's Rainbow Dash!". She pointed a hoof in the sky and followed it. You could definitely see Rainbow Dash speeding towards the group. As she got closer you could just make out an expression of anger.
She kept getting closer and closer while showing no signs of slowing down, then it dawned on you. 'She isn't flying to the group, she is flying at it. More specifically, me. You slowly started backing up as she speed towards you at full speed. You started running away as fast as you could but you knew she was faster then you. A lot faster then you. You ran about twenty yards, before you heard the sound of wings flapping. You turned your head and saw a murderous look in the eyes of the spectrum maned Pegasus.
She quickly closed the gap between the two of you and tackled you to the ground. Your landed face first (pretty hard too) in the dirt with a loud thud and you could feel the beating of hoofs on your back. You tried to flip her off of your back, but you weren't in the best shape and that run really took in out of you, so you just gave of and let her viciously attack your back. To your surprise and slight concern, the beating didn't hurt that much, if at all.
After about twenty seconds, the attacks stopped and you felt a light weight fall on your back. You turn your head around to see that she fell asleep, snoring the same cute little snore Trixie.
'I know she just attacked me, but I don't think I can help my self.'
"D'awwwww" You quietly express.
The adorable sight was soon interrupted by the sound of hoof steps. You turn your head back to to see the rest of the Elements and Lyra rushing over.
"Oh Red, are you hurt?" Asked a very concerned looking Fluttershy. You probably would have hugged her right then and there because of her supreme adorableness, if not for the sleeping pony on your back. "I'm fine Ms. Fluttershy, just a little sore."
"Oh dear, let me help you with her, and you can just call me Fluttershy. If that is okay with you, I mean."
'Must Not Hug.'
"It's fine I got her." You said to her as you got up and put Rainbow Dash over your shoulder. You walked back over to Trixie, who was just left laying on the ground, and pulled her up to your other shoulder.
"Are ya sure you don't need an carryin' them sugarcube?" Asked Applejack.
"Na'h, it's fine. They are both surprisingly light. All I need to know where it is I need to take them. Your Highness?"You said looking over at Twilight.
"Oh, you three can stay at the library tonight. I have some extra blankets that you can use." She responded.
"Thank you, I highly appreciate it." You said with a smirk, because you knew what came with that offer. You didn't have any issues with it, but you knew it was going to be extremely boring.
* * * * * * * *
You had just tucked Rainbow Dash and Trixie into opposite ends of Twilights couch and sat down against the wall when Twilight said "I'm so sorry there isn't a place for you to lay down, but I will make it up to you somehow. If there is anything I can do for you, just let me know.".
You thought about it for a moment and said "Well actually Your Highness, I was wondering if I could possible get a helmet or head protection of some sorts."
She gave you curious look before shrugging it off and saying "I'm sure that can be arranged, but I must ask why.".
"Oh, no reason." You replied,
"Okay? Well I should be getting to bed, and you should too. We have a long day ahead of us." She said through a yawn as she walked up stairs to her room. "Goodnight!".
"Goodnight." You called back.
You closed your eyes and reflected on all of the explaining, running, pain and D'awww moments and thought to yourself 'If the rest of my stay here in Equestria is as half as interesting as it was today, then I will never ever want to leave.' , and you fell asleep knowing that you would never want to leave anyway.

An Old Friend, Chaos, and Dirty Thoughts (Part two of three)
You had never talked to anybody about Tavi before. You never trusted anyone with the knowledge of the only true friendship you ever had. You never talked about the one person you ever truly felt any connection with.
The one person you ever loved.
So why were you so open to Rarity like that? How did she get you to open up like that? Why did you just let your pent up emotions spill out like that?
You were walking back to the library from the boutique and getting plenty of stares from the ponies going about their usual day. The sun was at the peak of it's journey in the sky, so you figured it to be about noon. "That is if the sun works like it does back home, aside from the obvious difference," you quietly said to yourself.
"You know, only crazy ponies talk to themselves." A voice said from right behind you, causing you to nearly jump out of your own skin. "Jesus Christ!" You yelled in surprise. After checking your neck for a pulse, you turned around to see Lyra having a hard time holding in her laughter.
"That wasn't funny," you said in an embarrassed tone.
"Oh, I beg to differ," she replied, still trying to hide her giggles.
"So, what are you doing out here all by your lonesome?" She asked, noticing your distraught expression.
"Well I was just picking up some new clothes from the Carousel Boutique. I'm going to go meet Princess Celestia here in a few hours, so I needed something else to wear other than the filthy garb I have on now," you explained as you started walking again.
"Hmm . . . Something on your mind?" She asked, picking up her pace behind you.
"Is it that obvious?"
"Well, your downcast expression would lead some to believe that you are upset," she replied. You gave her a quizzical look in return. "What?"
"I-It's nothing," you say, looking back at the ground.
"Come on. I'm your friend, you can talk to me. Who knows, I might be able to help," Lyra said with a smile.
'Really? She considers me a friend?
"Let's just say that I miss a friend. A really good friend," you replied.
The two of you walked back to the library in complete silence until you reached the front door. You were about to walk in when Lyra asked, "Hey, you said that you were going up to Canterlot later, right?".
"Yeah. Why do you ask?" You questioned.
"Well, I am also heading up there to visit a couple friends and I figured I could introduce you to them. If that's okay with you," she replied.
You pondered this. You were honestly surprised that everypony so far had accepted you so quickly. You didn't know if Canterlot ponies would be as accepting of you. "I don't know Lyra. Aren't The ponies in Canterlot really high class and snooty?" You asked.
"Typically yes, but not these ponies. I'm sure you all will get along just fine," she assured you.
"If you think so, I guess I could meet them," you told her. You got a very audible sequel of joy and a little hop/dance thing as a reply. After she calmed down she handed you a slip of paper with what appeared to be an address on it.
"Just go there after your meeting with the Princess. My friends and I will be there practicing our music," she said as your eyes scanned the slip of paper.
"Umm. . . Okay I'll be there, but I have one question," you said.
"What's up?"
"Does Equestria have guitars?"
"Electrical, acoustic, bass-" She started, but you silenced her by holding up your hand.
"That is all I need to know," you said with a smirk. She nodded and gave a huge grin. "I'll make sure to grab an acoustic guitar just for you."
"That's great Lyra! It's been too long since I've played. This is going to be so much fun," you said ecstatically.
'Wow. I can't believe they have guitars here, but they do have other string instruments, so I guess it makes sense. I has been too long since I played with anybody last. The last person I played with was Tav-' You cut that train of thought short. You hated thinking about her. It just hurt too much.
"You okay?" Lyra asked, snapping you back to the real world.
"Huh? . . . Yeah I'm fine, just kinda fazed out for a second there. Hey, what are your friends names? I would like to know before hand so I have more of a chance to remember," you said.
"Oh, their names are Vinyl Scratch and O-" She started to say, only to be interrupted by a bright flash of light.
* * * * * * * * *
"Ack, my eyes!" Was all you could say as you tried to rub the spots out of your vision.
"Well I must say, it certainly has been a long time since I've seen a human," a voice said across from you. You tried to get a good look at the owner of the voice, but that was hard to do when all you could see was a bunch of green and purple dots.
With your eyes straining to get a look at them, you asked, "Who are you?.
"Oh, come now Red. You know exactly who I am. You've seen the show," the voice said in a tone one would use to try to explain something to a child.
"What do you mea- oh. That's what you mean," you said as your vision cleared to reveal a tall creature that looked like it was made up of many different animals.
"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Discord," he said while he gave a small bow and flicking down a top-hat that he wasn't wearing the second before.
You just sat there staring at the confusing creature until something hit you. "Wait, you know about the show?"
"Of course I do. And keep your voice down. That evil little creature known as Angel Bunny is napping and I really don't want him woken up. It may not seem like it, but I do enjoy a bit of peace and quiet," he said to you is a hushed voice and pointed to the small green couch that had a sleeping white rabbit of it.
You looked around and noticed little bird houses and tiny pathways lined the ceiling. The pathways were for small rodents by the look of it. You looked down and saw a squirrel holding an acorn. How did I get to Fluttershy's cottage? You thought to yourself.
"That would be my doing," answered Discord with a smile.
"So why did you just tele- wait. . . Don't read my mind please," you requested.
"Why? Does it bother you?" He asked with a hint of joy in his voice.
"Yes, It’s very O-P, but anyways. Why did you bring me here?" You asked with an irritated tone.
"Well if I must justify myself. I was bored. And if you thought that was over powered wait until you see what else I can do. Now back to why I brought you here. Fluttershy mentioned that she had met a human before she left, and I couldn't just pass up the opportunity to see a creature with such chaotic potential!"
That caught you off guard. "What do you mean?"
"You don't know, do you?" He asked a little confused.
"No. I can't say I do," you responded.
"Well then allow me to explain. Humans are different than other beings when it comes to natural abilities. Humans have a chaotic presence about them that sets them apart from everything else. This chaotic presence attributes to most of humanities violent or disorderly nature. This puts them at the top of of whatever food chain they are put in, at least most of the time, and makes them the dominate species," he explained. He looked down at you expectantly after he finished, but when he saw your face, he took on a disappointed look of his own.
"You don't get it yet, do you?" He asked. When you shook your head he gave a disapproving sigh.
"Okay, what if I explain it like this. When your species became dominant over all others on Earth, they began to expand and grow in numbers, did they not?" You nodded your head lightly and he continued. "Soon your species started to spread across the globe and the chaotic presence was spread thin, and the drastic increase in your number didn't help the situation."
"Humans used to be able to manipulate the chaotic presence. I believe they were called wizards or sorcerers, or something like that, but when the presence spread, the ability to manipulate it became harder and harder until it was near impossible to do anything with it at all, and by the time the "New World" was discovered, it was near impossible for anyone to even try to manipulate it, but a few would have the ability and would use this to do great things to help or destroy the world. Examples being Ghaundi and Adolf Hitler.
All you could do is give him a blank stare. "You really are thick headed aren't you?" He asked staring down at you. All you did was give him a innocent smile. "Arrrgh."
"What I am trying to say is that since humans can manipulate a chaotic presence, and I am the only chaotic being on this planet, you have an untold amount of chaotic abilities at the tips of your fingers. You just need to learn how to use them," he explained, crossing his arms at the end.
You looked down at your hands to see if you could spot the chaotic power he went on about. You just had one question.
"Who is going to teach me?" You asked, only to hear a loud smack in response. You look back up at Discord to see his paw covering his face. "Who do you think genius?" He asked sarcastically.
"Oh you. That makes sense," you said as you scratched the back of your head. You were about to ask him another question when you heard a door being opened. You turned around and saw Fluttershy enter through her front door. She let a few animals come through before actually coming in herself. She watched as the little woodland creatures ran around in front of her before looking up at you. You had apparently scared her, because a small poof where she had stood and now she was holding on to one of the rafters for dear life.
"Uh Fluttershy, are you okay?" You ask, wondering how she moved so fast.
"Oh Red it's just you," she said as she floated back down to the ground, still visibly shaking. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?" She wondered.
"Oh, Discord here just teleported me here without my consent so he could have a little chat with me," you replied, pointing your thumb back behind you.
Fluttershy gave you a confused look and said, "But Discord isn't here.".
"What are you talking about? He is . . . gone," you replied as you turned around to see he had disappeared.
'Great. Just leave me here and let me make an ass of myself why don't you.
'Good. I thought you would understand! Bye-bye!'
'Gah! Don't do that!'
"Red? Did you hear me?" Asked a quiet voice.
You shook your head and answered, "Sorry, no. What did you say?".
"I said, Twilight is looking for you. The train to Canterlot leaves in half an hour. You'd better hurry," Fluttershy responded.
"Wow, thanks Fluttershy. I owe you one!" You shouted back as you ran past her and back toward Ponyville.
* * * * * * * *
You and Twilight had just barely made it to the train station in time to get on, and she was pretty upset about it.
"I can't believe him!" Twilight yelled.
"It's not like he knew Twilight," you said, trying to calm her down.
"Still. He had no right to just teleport you like that," she replied.
"Trust me I know, but you can't blame him for making sure to tell me about this situation," you tried to assure her, but she still refused to talk about it anymore.
"Twilight?"
". . ."
"Twilight, come on."
". . ."
"You are acting like a foal."
". . ."
You didn't want to resort to this, but you knew she wouldn't be able to resist. "Alright if that is how you are going to be, then I guess I will have to find somepony else to tell all about my completely new and alien heritage. I'm sure you don't want to know about it at all," you say as you start to get up only to be pulled back down by a purple aura.
"Oh no you don't buster. You aren't leaving this seat until you have told me everything there is to know about human culture," she said with fiery determination in her eyes.
And that is what you did the whole eight hour ride there. All you did was explain human history for a couple hours and then explain the internet for the other six. You explained as much as you could to the alicorn without letting her know about "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" or of it's fanbase, which was a lot harder than it sounded.
'I will tell her eventually, but don't think she is ready for that just yet.'
You had just finished telling her about "Tumblr" when the train pulled into the Canterlot train station.
"Darn, looks like we can't talk the internet anymore Twi," you said sarcastically.
"Yes, I know, but after your meeting with the Princess, you are going to tell me more about this "4chan," Twilight responded.
"Actually Twi, I can't. I already told Lyra I would go hangout with her and a few of her friends after the meeting," you told her as you stood up.
"Lyra? How long has she been in Canterlot?" She asked as she too, stood up.
"I've been sitting across from you the entire ride!" Shouted Lyra, scaring Twilight into jumping up and latching onto your arm.
"Whoa there Princess Scardypants, I'm sure Lyra means you no harm," you said as you and Lyra tried to hold in your laughter.
"Hehehe, very funny. Come on Red we have a schedule to keep," Twilight said as she forcefully pushed you off the train.
"Bye, Red! See ya at the the studio!" Lyra called, waving a hoof in the air.
"Yeah, See ya there! Bye!" You waved back with a huge smile plastered on your face as Twilight pushed you along.
Ten minutes later
You and Twilight managed to make it through the gawking and slightly disgusted crowds and made it to the Royal Castle just in time. As you and Twilight approached the huge front doors of the castle, two Pegasi guards extended their wings and blocked your path.
"Um, guards? You do know who I am, right?" Twilight asked.
"Of course we do, your highness, but her highness, Princess Celestia has asked to speak with the human alone," said the guard on the left. "Nopony is allowed in until she has finished speaking with it." The guard on the right finished.
"Um, I would prefer to acknowledged by my name or gender, and not by "It" if you would be so kind," you interjected.
"Oh, please accept our apologies, sir?" The guards said in unison, which kinda creeped you out.
"It's perfectly alright, and you're right. I am a "Sir", so if you please, I would like to get this meeting with the Princess started," you said in your snootiest voice.
"Of course, sir," they both said and they lowered their wings. You walked past them and push upon the large door which opened with surprising ease.
You walked in and the door silently closed behind you. You jumped about a foot in the air when you saw this, because living on Earth caused your brain to assume this was the work of ghosts, but then you quickly dismissed this when you remembered just where you were.
You walked down the large corridor and saw a grey pony staring at you impatiently. "Come along, the Princess doesn't have all day."
You jogged up to the pony and she waved a hoof for you to follow. After several minutes of following the grey pony through a series of confusing corridors until you two reached a door with Celestia's cutie mark on it.
"The Princess is right through this door," she said in an emotionless tone and walked away. She was about ten feet away when she looked back and said in a almost worried tone, "Good luck, you're going to need it.".
'Why would I need luck? And what was with the sudden change of her mood?
You didn't think much of it and pushed open the doors.
'This can't be right.'
'This must be the wrong place.'
'Perhaps I should just-' *SLAM*
You turned around as quickly as humanly possible to see the large doors shut and a tall white alicorn with the sun as her cutie mark and long flowing pink mane and tail filled with sparkles.
'Wait, that's not right. Celestia's mane and tail are filled with multiple colors not just pin- . . .'
"Well, who is this. A total stranger has entered my chambers. Oh whatever shall I do?" She asked in a VERY suggestive tone.
You eyes widened in realization. 'Oh Nonononononononononononononononono!'
"Well, I don't really don't like intruders, so I guess you are going to have to be.......Punished...... " She said with an eager lick of her lips.
"Fuck my life....." You said under your breath.
She leaned in real close and whispered in your ear,"Oh, I like the way you think.".

An Old Friend, Chaos, and Dirty Thoughts (Part three of three)
* * * * * P.O.V: Royal Day Guard * * * * *
You had just finished your lunch break and started your boring daily patrol through the corridors of the castle when you heard hoof steps and something like hoof steps, but softer, coming from behind you. You turned around to see a grey mare and some sort of hairless ape creature.
The strange pair had stopped in front of Princess Celestia's chamber doors. The grey mare said something unrecognizable to the ape and started walking in your direction. She had walked a little away from the ape then turned back to to say something else to it. After she had finished, she turned back in your direction and started walking again, but now with a visible smile on her face.
The ape walked into the Princess's chambers with a curious look on his face, and after a few seconds, you heard a rather loud slam and saw the doors had shut. The grey mare's ears perked at the sound. She checked behind her and giggled with glee at the now ape-less sight.
You were about to ask her what she was doing here when a bright flash filled the corridor. Where the grey mare stood was now the Princess of the Night with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"Y-your highness," you stammered out as you gave a deep bow.
"Greetings. Please rise, I have a task for you," said the Princess.
"Of course, Princess. What would you like me to do?" You asked her.
"I need you to tell the rest of the guards that in a few minutes, a strange creature that walks on two legs will surely come barreling through the corridors. They are to leave him be, because he means no harm and is in no way a threat to us," she said through a chuckle.
"As you wish Princess," you replied and gave another bow before speeding off to find the nearest guards so they could relay the message.
"Oh this is going to be good," Luna said evilly.
* * * * * P.O.V: Red Hearts * * * * *
Thoughts were racing through your head a million miles a minute, but the only one's that were not riddled with filth and dirtiness was, 'How the fuck is this happening!?' and 'How the Hell do I get out of this!?' Your eyes darted around looking for a way out.
Celestia took a step closer and asked, "What's wrong Red? You seem a little tense," as she gently brought a hoof down your back, sending shivers up your spine.
"This is so wrong on so many levels," you said quietly.
"Oh don't be like that Red. You want this just as much as I do," she replied.
"What makes you think that!?" You half shouted.
"Well it could be that I'm an immortal goddess with knowledge and power beyond your comprehension, or I could be using my magical abilities to arouse you, or I could just be wrong," she said in a voice filled with both power and lust.
'Oh god. I hope she isn't doing the magic thing,' you thought to yourself.
"But I'm sure you are not carrying a flashlight in your pocket, so I assume you are at least slightly enjoying this," she said suddenly, causing your face to turn redder than a tomato.
"Listen. This is all a bit weird for me, so I'm just gonna head on out now," you said as you tried to walk past her.
She extended a wing to block your path and said, "Oh no you don't. You are going to sit right there on that bed and we are going to have some...Fun ..." as she lifted your body in her magic and levitated you over to her bed.
"Now you just wait right there and I will be back in a few minutes," she said before a bright flash of light filled the room, making you cover your eyes. You looked around and noticed that the Princess had disappeared.
'I swear, I'm going to need to constantly carry a pair of sunglasses with me if this keeps up' you thought as your sight cleared.
'Strange. Why would she just leave me here? Well, now that she is gone, I might be able to get the hell out of here, but she could be back any second so I better get looking for an exit.' You thought to yourself as you inspected the room. Your eyes fell upon the large doors that you entered from.
"Might as well," you said, walking to the doors. You approached the doors and gave them a push, but to no avail.
"Should have known. It's never that easy," you said under your breath.
You started looking around the room again hoping for some sort of escape hatch or secret doorway. When you found nothing, you walked over to the balcony and opened the large glass doors. You took a step to the edge of the balcony and looked over the edge. You noticed you were about ten stories up and there was a garden at the bottom. Upon closer inspection, you noticed a cart with a large pile of hay in it directly under you. You then immediately walked away from the edge and started looking for another way down.
'No way in hell am I doing that again,' you thought.
You started looking around for some sort of hand holds to lower yourself down when you saw a series of bricks poking out of the wall in a very convenient pattern that lead to another balcony about twenty feet to the left.
'I'm starting to feel as if I'm in a bad video game, what with the jumping, running, getting sever injuries and now extreme wall climbing,' you thought as you gripped the first of the bricks.
You had made it halfway there when you noticed a bright flash from the room you just escaped from. You picked up your pace and made it over to the other balcony before Celestia walked out. You rushed past the glass doors and into a dark room in hopes that Celestia didn't see you.
You examined the room you had found yourself in and noticed the complete change of scenery from Celestia's chambers. There was a large bed with deep blue blanket and a rather amazingly large flat screen T.V. The room was surprisingly dark even with the sun starting to set outside. You looked up and saw the ceiling was absent and in it's place was an illusion of the night sky.
You were about to walk through the room and to the exit when a voice stopped you.
"Red? What are you doing here?" Asked the voice from behind you.
You looked over your shoulder and saw Luna fly in from the balcony. You turned around and put a finger to your lips as to tell her to be quiet. She gave you a curious look and said, "I do not understand.".
"It means to be quiet," you whispered.
"Why must I be quiet in my own room?" Luna asked.
"Because Princess Celestia has taken an interest in me and I would rather avoid a situation like that, so I am trying to get out of this place and I don't want her to know I'm here," you replied in a hushed voice.
"I see, but that does not explain why you are in my room," she said.
"It is the only way I could escape," you answer.
"I see," she replied as she brought a hoof to her chin.
"So, if you excuse me, I need to go," you said as you made your way to the door, but was stopped by a midnight blue wing.
"I will allow you to go, but know this. When my sister wants something or somepony, she tends to get them. Do try to be careful Red," she warned as she lowered her wing.
"I will. Thank you," you said with a nod and headed out the door.
You, again, found yourself in a large corridor with many other corridors branching off of it. Not wasting any time, you run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of the sun Princess's chamber door.
You noticed that the guards just simply looked in your direction when you ran instead of trying to stop you or even questioning why you were sprinting right past them, but that didn't matter to you. The only thing that did matter was getting out of there as fast as you could.
You had just made your eighteenth turn when you found yourself in the same corridor you entered the castle. Without a second thought you rushed to the large doors that were the entrance to the castle. You were almost within arm's reach of the doors when a large white "Thing" dropped down in front of you, effectively blocking your path. 'Shit,' you thought.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Asked a very seductive voice. You started to panic so you looked around the corridor for a solution when you spotted a dark figure behind one of the pillars that lined the corridor. The dark figure seemed to be laughing.
'What the hell? You thought to yourself.
"Now It's about time you stopped wasting all of your energy running around and start using it on me," she said as she inched closer to you. You looked at her for a moment, then at some bored looking guards, then back to the still laughing hiding figure. You thought for a moment and looked back at Celestia.
You put on your creepiest smile and said, "You know what? Let's go. I feel like getting down and dirty anyways.".
Celestia stopped short and looked a little scared for a second. She glanced over to the hiding figure who had stopped laughing and stared at you slack-jawed. She then looked back at you and said, "A-Are you sure. I'd probably be way too much for you.".
"Oh trust me when I say I've been around the block a few times and I think I could handle you quite well," you said as you cupped your chin and examined her as if she were a new car. "I've got to say. I don't know what I was so afraid of. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my night than by "Having fun" with you Princess." As you said this you could see Celestia starting to sweat from nervousness.
You started to walk closer to her and asked, "What's wrong Princess? You look nervous. What? Were you not expecting this to happen?".
"What do you mean by that?" Celestia asked, backing away from you.
"What I mean is, did you not expect me to catch on to your's and Luna's little game here?" You answered as your creepy smile turned into that of a playful one. Celestia stared at you for a minute before her cheeks turned a sort of pink.
"How did you know about that?" Celestia asked in a still nervous voice.
"I will admit, it was a little difficult. My first clue was when you left me alone in your chambers. The real Molestia would never do that, she would get right to business," you said, putting air quotes around the word business.
"My second clue was when I ran through the halls, I was never stopped by any guards. Even If they knew I would be meeting you, they would still question my sprinting down the corridors," You explained.
"I guess that makes sense," admitted Celestia.
"And third, I might still have been fooled if not for Luna over there giggling like a school filly," you said as you lazily pointed over to the hiding figure without looking. Said figure walked out from her hiding place with a look of shame apparent on her face.
"I must say though, your performance was pretty convincing," you said.
"Oh uhh, thank you, I guess," Celestia said.
"Oh and don't worry. I don't really want to. . . you know," you explained.
"Oh, okay," Celestia sighed.
'She sounds almost disappointed. Hmm . . . Better to just ignore it and move on,' you thought. You all stood around awkwardly for a few seconds before you remembered Lyra. 'Shit!'
"Listen Princesses. It has been a fun and very interesting visit, but I have arrangements with a friend that I need to get to, so if you would excuse me. I need to get going," you said as you rushed past Celestia and out the doors.
You took five steps outside before being stopped by one of the two guards from before.
"Excuse me sir, I have a message for you from Princess Twilight Sparkle," said the left guard.
You turn around and answer, "Lay it on me." only to receive a curious glare from the guards.
"Just tell me," you said as you retracted your palm from your face.
"She has asked us to inform you that she has gone back to Ponyville and there is no need to look for her," said the guard on the right. 'Why do I get the feeling I will need an exorcist if I hang around these guys too much longer?' You mentally asked yourself.
"We do not know sir," they replied in unison.
"Okay fuck this! I'm out!" You yelled as you ran the fuck away from those creepy bastards.
After walking up and down Canterlot for an hour and a half looking for the address that Lyra gave you, you had just given up, and whenever you asked somepony where to go, they would storm off like you had just insulted them. That is until a pony named Fancy Pants gave you the proper directions.
"You are going to want to continue down this street and take your first left, and it will be the third building on your right," said Fancy Pants with a smile.
"Thank you Fancy Pants, but I must ask. Why did you actually talk to me, where as everypony else thinks they're too good to even look at me?" You asked.
"Well my boy, that is because I still have enough sense to remember that everypony is as equally important as everypony else, and I was not always as rich and famous as I am now. I used to be an everyday working pony when I was younger, but that is a story for another time," he said in a way that reminded you of your grandfather.
"Oh, well thanks again Fancy Pants. You have been a huge help!" You exclaimed as you walked away. He waved a friendly goodbye and you waved one back before turning and setting on your course .
When you finally made it to your destination Luna had already risen her moon and brought night across Equestria. You looked up at the two story building with curiosity. After standing there you heard the sound of a very familiar song playing .song Not wanting to interrupting the music, you waited for the song to end.
*song plays*
Now that the music had stopped you decide to make your presence known. You knocked on the door several times to let the occupants know that you were there. You heard voices coming from the other side of the door before it opened to show a unicorn mare with alabaster fur, a pair of glasses with purple lenses, and a blue mane and tail with stripes of lighter blue going through it. She looked up at you and asked, "Who are you?" in a slightly scratchy voice.
"My name is Red hearts, but you can just call me Red. I was told by my friend Lyra to come here," you answered. She raised an eyebrow at you and looked back into what your were guessing to be her house, and yelled, "Lyra! Is the friend you were talking about some sort of big monkey thing!?". A familiar voice called back, "Yes! Is that him!?", to which the mare in front of you answered, "Yeah!". Then Lyra's voice replied with, "Then let him in!". The mare shrugged and motioned for you to follow her with her head.
You followed the mare through the cluttered house and into a back room. In the back room was Lyra sitting on a large black plush couch, a mare earth pony with a grey coat and a black mane and tail sat on the same couch with a bored expression; muzzle deep in a magazine, a large D-J table, several instruments that lined the wall, a cello that set next to the grey mare, and five gold records that hung on the wall above the instruments.
Lyra hopped up from her seat and walked over to you. "It's about time you got here. I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to show. What took you so long anyway?" She asked excitedly.
"As much as I would like to tell you what happened, I don't think I should. Not only will you not believe me, but I think it would be considered treason, so lets just say I've had an interesting day so far," you replied only to get curious looks from all but the grey mare.
"O-Okay then, let's get the introductions out of the way!" She exclaimed happily. "Red this is Vinyl Scratch, she is a DJ / music producer," she said. Vinyl held her hoof out and you shook it while you said, "Nice to meet you Vinyl Scratch.".
"Please, just call me Vinyl. Nice ta' meet you too," she said as she gave your hand a nice shake back. "And Red this is Octavia." Lyra continued, gesturing towards the grey pony. You walked over to her and extended your hand. Octavia tore her eyes away from the magazine to look at you. When she saw you her eyes immediately widened then she took hold of your hand and shook it vigorously with a huge smile on her face. Both Lyra and Vinyl both looked at each other curiously before Vinyl asked, "What’s got you so happy Octavia?".
"Oh it's nothing! Nothing at all!" Octavia replied, still beaming up at you. Lyra took this as her queue to start up a new conversation. "So Red, you said you could play the guitar right?. Wanna play us something?" She said, gesturing to the lined up instruments. "I guess I could play a little something, but you will have to deal with my singing as well," you replied as you picked up a electric guitar and tuned it to your liking. You played a few notes to get a feel for the instrument. Satisfied, you began to play your favorite song ever.
**---
You've got the touch**
You've got the power, yeah
After, all is said and done
You never walk, you never run
You're a winner, you got the moves
You know the streets, break the rules
Take the heat, you're nobody's fool
You're at your best when the going gets rough
You've been put to the test but it's never enough
You got the the touch
You got the power
When all hell's breaking loose
You'll be right in the eye of the storm
You got the heart, you got the motion
You know that when things get too tough
You got the touch
You looked to the three mares that you were playing for. Vinyl was bobbing her head to the music and Lyra was doing the same, but Octavia was sitting still with her eyes closed and her lips moving. 'Is she singing along!?
You never bend, you never break
You seem to know just what it takes
You're a fighter, it's in the blood
It's in the will, it's in the mighty hands of steel
When you're standin' your ground
And you never give in when you're back's to the wall
Gonna fight till the end and you're taking it all
You got the touch
You got the power
When all hell's breaking loose
You'll be right in the eye of the storm
You got the heart, you got the motion
You know that when things get too tough
You got the touch
You're fighting fire with fire
You know you got the touch
You're at your best when the going gets rough
You've been put to the test but it's never enough
You got the touch
You got the power, yeah
You have just finished the song and you never felt more energized, or confused in your entire life. How was Octavia singing along with you? 'That song was from back home! There is no way she should know it word for word!' You thought. You were about to confront her about it when Lyra and Vinyl ran right up to you.
"Dude, that was totally amazing! I've never heard anything like it before!" Vinyl exclaimed. "Yeah! That was great Red! Do you know anymore songs like that?" Lyra asked you excitedly.
"Yeah, I know quite a few, but I don't think I can do any more right now," you answered.
"Awww! Why not?" Lyra and Vinyl asked in a way that reminded you of two little fillies. "I just have to think right now," you replied.
"Well I suppose I could play something if your mind is focused on other things," Octavia offered. You nodded to her and she got ready.
You tried to think of any possible reasons as to how Octavia was able to sing along with the song, but you couldn't find any logical possibilities. The more you thought about it, the more you just wanted to think about something else, because it was really ragging your mind. You looked up to see Octavia playing her cello. The sight her playing the instrument reminded you of Tavi.
Tavi. You always felt a pain in your heart when you thought of her. You had so many happy memories with her, like when you two would hang out at the mall or walked in the forest behind your house, but the think you two did the most together was play music. You would grab your guitar and head over to her place and you two would just play for hours and hours without any breaks. She would always play this one beautiful song that would always make you feel a series of emotions. Anything from sadness to joy. This song always put a smile on your face no matter how it made you feel.
'Damn, I really miss those times. She would always play me that song when I was feeling bad, which caused her to play it so much that I can still remember every note of it. I swear I can hear it now, even just thinking about it. It's so clear, like I'm actually listening to it.'
'Wait. . . '
You look up at Octavia and listen deeply to her music and you hear it.
'. . . '
'. . .'
You shot up and your eyes suddenly widened in realization just as her song finished. She looked up at you with a smile and tears building up in her eyes as you dropped to your knees. Your shocked expression changed to that of pure happiness as she rushed towards you and jumped into your embrace.
"I missed you so much, Red." Octavia said as tears ran down her face.
"I missed you too, Tavi. I missed you too," you replied with tears streaming down your face as well.
Octavia's loneliness belongs to FIMprov .
FIMprov has a new channel which is AstrumVisProductions
Go listen to his stuff, I rather like it, so it must be good, right? Right? Right!?

'What is taking so long?' You thought to yourself. You had been waiting outside of the castle doors for quite awhile now and you were getting restless. "Whatever it is, I just hope that Red is okay," you said through a yawn. It was getting pretty late and the sun was almost set.
"Excuse me, guards?"
"Yes, your highness?" The guards said in unison, causing a shiver to run down your spine.
"I must take my leave for Ponyville. When my companion returns, tell him I have done so," you told the guards.
"Of course, your highness," they answered.
"Thank you," you replied. You turned away from the doors and started walking down the long path to the castle gates. About half way to the gates, you activated your magic and teleported to the library. You sighed with relief as you appeared in your home, but then you saw that everypony was there in the library. Pinkie, Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Trixie and Discord were all standing around your living room staring at you. You looked up at all of your friends with a curious glare. Slightly upset that you weren't getting to rest just yet, you also saw streamers and balloons. You then put any idea of rest out of your mind.
"What is everypony doing here?" You asked, putting on a smile.
"Well, I was making some cupcakes over at Sugarcube Corner when I realized that with everything that has happened, I haven't thrown a "Welcome to Ponyville" party for Red yet, so I put up a whole bunch of decorations and rounded up all of our friends and brought them here, but we were starting to think that you guys weren't coming, but then you poofed into the room. Now we can get this party- wait, where is Red? Didn't he come here with you?" Pinkie replied, all in one quick breath.
"Well, when I left, Red was still in his meeting with Princess Celestia, and after their meeting, he was planning to go meet up with Lyra and her friends, and it is pretty late, so I don't know if he will be back," you answered. When you said this, you could see Pinkie's mane and tail start to deflate. "Oh. Okay then," Pinkie said in a very sad tone as she started pulling the streamers down from the ceiling.
"Wait, Pinkie! He still might be able to make it to your party. There is no need to start tearing down the decorations," Rainbow said, wondering why Pinkie had become saddened so quickly.
"Yeah, Pinkie, so why don't ya put them streamers back where ya got'em," said Applejack.
"But what if he doesn't show up?" Pinkie asked sadly.
"Then we can do it tomorrow," you answered, hoping that the party really could wait until tomorrow. You loved Pinkie's parties, but you were too tired and badly needed sleep.
"Okay, but I will have to make up for lost time with a "Super-Duper-Awesome-Welcome to Ponyville" party," Pinkie replied with a sudden poof of her mane and tail. Pinkie started hopping around the room going off about how much fun the party is going to be and all of the different sweets she will make for the party.
That is until Discord snapped his fingers and froze her mid-jump and said, "Oh no you don't little missy. You wait there and I will be right back." He snapped his fingers again and disappeared.
"Umm. . . I can't move," Pinkie said as she struggled to land. Everypony rushed to her side to try to help her down. Everypony besides Rainbow Dash, who was doing her best to hold back a laugh. After several minutes of frantically going through spell after spell, you gave up and told everypony to just wait for Discord to return.
After several more minutes of waiting Rarity asked, "What is Discord doing that is- AHH!". She was interrupted by a loud pop and something falling on her.
"I'm back, and I brought friends!" Discord called merrily into the room. Everypony looked to see him sitting on the still frozen Pinkie Pie.
"What do you mean?" You asked with a suspicious stare.
"I mean, I have brought the guest of honor to the party. Who has decided to take a nap on our dear friend Rarity." Replied Discord with a devilish smile. You just rolled your eyes and looked over at Rarity to see that Red was laying on top of her and was snoring like a foal. Rarity on the other hoof was having a mini freak out.
"Get him off, Get him off, Get him off!" She repeated in increasing volume as she struggled, not stirring the still unconscious form of Red.
"Okay Rarity, jeez. Just give me a minute," you said as you tried lifting him off with your magic, but it was to no avail. 'Still too tired to even lift him? Wow, I need some sleep.' You thought. You took a few steps closer as you thought of different ways to try to remove him from your friend, but you were stopped by a gray hoof.
"Excuse me, Princess, but I think that this is better left up to me," said the owner of the hoof, through a yawn. The pony was a grey mare with a slick black mane and a light purple treble clef as a cutie mark. The mare walked over to your unconscious friend’s back and brought a hoof up. Her hoof hovered over his back for a few seconds before she smiled and jammed her hoof into the lower left side of his back. This caused him to suddenly wake and cry out in pain.
Rarity managed to slip out from under Red and stood up, all the while giving the mare a death glare. A glare which copied your own. "Why did you do that to him!?" Rarity half yelled at the mare.
"Oh would you relax? He's fine, just look at him," she said, waving a hoof dismissively at Red who was now sitting with his legs crossed and staring at the mare with a look of anger.
"Wait. . . " She said as she turned back to Rarity. "Are you mad because I caused him to get off of you, but you liked the feeling of him being on top of you?" She asked with a wink, causing Rarity's face to become as red as a cherry. You could hear Rainbow and Discord laughing their flanks off from behind you.
"Oh, umm . . . I uhh . . . " Rarity stammered with the ever growing blush upon her face.
"Hmm?" The mare asked, taking a few steps closer. You couldn't help but let out a small giggle at your friend.
"Oh, will you stop picking on her?" Red asked the mare as he tried to hide his own laughs. She looked back at Red with a pleading look on her face, but he just stared her down. After several seconds of this, the mare sighed and said with a small smile, "Just as resilient as ever.". That confused you.
"You say that like you have known him for a long time," you said as you gave her a curious look.
"I did and I do," she replied with a smile.
"But he has only been in Equestria for a few days," you said.
"This is true," she responded with the same smile.
"And you are a pony from Equestria," you retorted with irritation creeping into your tone.
"This is also true," she said, her smile growing.
"So how is it possible for you to have known Red for so long if he has been here for such a short amount of time!?" You asked, a little louder than intended.
"It's a secret," she responded with an innocent look.
"Uhh, what?" You asked.
"It - is - a - secret," she replied slowly. Like she was talking to a foal. The way she said that really made you angry. You were about to tell her off when someone stepped in between the two of you. "Tavi, will you please stop picking on my friends. I know it can be fun to watch them get all flustered, but do try to lay off just a little?" Red said with a small smile spreading across his lips.
The mare rolled her eyes and said, "Fine, but only because you asked so nicely.".
"Good," Red replied as he hugged the mare.
You were about to ask Red what was going on when Rainbow asked, "So, what exactly is going on here Discord?".
"Whatever do you mean, dear Rainbow Dash?" Discord responded, hopping off of Pinkie's back. "I merely brought the guest of honor to his party."
"But, what about these other ponies?" Rainbow asked.
"Well they were all having such a good time, I didn't want to break it up," Discord answered, motioning towards the two still sleeping forms of Lyra and a white unicorn mare.
"You know you could have asked us to come, instead of knocking us out and kidnapping us, like you did," Red said.
"But, it was the only interesting way to get you here quickly that I could think of. Besides If I didn't do it the way I did, well lets just say the ride would not have been very pleasant," Discord responded with a grimace.
"Wow, something to give him that look must really be bad, you thought.
"Umm, Discord? Do you think you could let me down? I'm starting to get a cramp," Pinkie pleaded.
"I suppose," eeplied Discord. With a snap of his claw, Pinkie fell back to the ground with a thud, to which she instantly sprung back up and loudly said, "Yay! Now we can get this party started!". At those words, everypony, but you and Red, who just looked confused, cheered in unison.
"Well, while you all do that. I will be getting some much needed sleep, so good night everypony," you announced to your friends.
"Ahh. Are you sure you don't wanna stay? It's gonna be fun!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"Sorry, Pinkie, I am just too tired to stay up for your party," you replied through a yawn. You turned towards the stairs that led to your bedroom. When you reached your door, you looked back over the ponies in your living room and asked, "Please try to keep it down while I try to sleep, will you?".
"Of course we will, Twilight," Rarity replied.
"Thank you. Goodnight everypony." You said as you walked into your room. You sighed with relief as you closed your door. You walked over to your bed and climbed under the covers, thinking about all of the questions Red had left unanswered, and what you would ask him the next day.

*Thump, thump* *Thump, thump*
'Ohh, my head' You thought as you opened your eyes, but immediately shut them back to block out the excruciating amount of Celestia's sunlight that filled them. Not wanting to open your sensitive eyes back to the unforgiving sunlight, you pulled your hand up to your brow to provide shade. You opened your eyes again to get a look at your surroundings and saw rows upon rows of apple filled trees. A smile came to your face when you realized just where you were.
'Wow. Sweet Apple Acres. This is too amazing, you thought. It’s times like this that I realize that I am in Equestria. The land full of my favorite ponies.
You looked down at yourself and saw that you were under a blanket. You moved the blanket off of you body and to the side without thinking much about it and stood up from where you were just laying. You examined yourself and noticed a lack of most of your clothing. All you had was a white undershirt, your red and white polka-dot underwear, one sock and a large cloth bandage strapped to your palms.
Worried that that you might have injured yourself, you peeled the bandage back a little and took a look at what was underneath. You were surprised to find, not a cuts or bruises, but two identical symbols under them.
"Oh for fuck's sake," you said rather loudly. "The first time I have a drink, I get two ridiculous tattoos on my hands. Good job, Red, you're a fucking genius." You look around for the remainder of your clothing, but you can't find any. "Well this is just great. Now I have to get back to Twilight's half-naked," you say, looking back at your new palm tattoos.
After examining them for a few minutes, you thought 'Hmm... These look healed to me, but don't tattoos take a lot longer to heal? I've seen my father get new tattoos and they were always a little red and puffy for a few days, so shouldn't my hands be like that? These tattoos look like they have been there for months. . You decided to touch them to see if you could feel any pain come from them, but you felt nothing but the smoothness of your palm. You look confused and decide to peel away the last of the bandages wrapped around your hands.
Now with your hands free of the constricting bandages, you started thinking about how you were going to get your way back to Twilight's without anypony seeing you. 'Would they even care? It's not like they call each other out on their clothing.' You thought to yourself. 'Doesn't matter. I still don't feel comfortable with them seeing me like this. You thought as you brought your hands together under your chin.
"If only I had a new set of clothes. A pair of faded blue jeans and one of my old Tee-shirts." You said as a breeze blew by. "And maybe a nice warm jacket. It's getting pretty chilly." You said with a chuckle, but that chuckle ended when a bright green flash came the palms of your hands.
"What the hell was that?" You asked out loud. You looked down at your hands and saw the tattoos were glowing a dim green, you then noticed that you were wearing the exact outfit you had just described; a pair of faded blue jeans, black hiking boots, a grey Tee-shirt that read "Ave lunaris deam." with a crescent moon under the text , and a white hoodie with red lining that was zipped half way up. You pulled the hood over your head and noticed a very distinctive point on the rim.
You sighed as you pulled the hood back down and zipped up the hoodie the rest of the way up. 'I swear Ubisoft, you are going to be the death of me.' You thought as you looked back at your palms. You shook your head, stuffed your hands in your pockets and begun your march towards Ponyville. 'Maybe Twilight will have an explanation for this.
You arrived in Ponyville after wandering the seemingly endless apple trees for a good hour and a half. 'That place is a lot bigger then it would lead you to believe in the show.' You thought as you started on your path to the library. You still had trouble navigating the small town and the distracting stares you kept getting from the townponies didn't help. Everywhere you looked, ponies would quickly look away. You had expected them to act like this from the stories you read not even a week before. The stares were very off-putting, but then you noticed that some of the ponies were snickering.
They had never laughed at you before today, so you tried to think of what might have happened last night, but every time you did, your head would start pulsing with pain. 'What are they laughing at? Do I look funny or something? ' You thought to yourself as you looked to a cream colored mare with red and pink mane, who had nearly doubled over in laughter upon seeing you.
'Hmm... Roseluck? Yeah, I think that's what the bronies called her. Perhaps I should ask her what is going on. ' You thought as you started to walk over to her. The closer you got to her, the more she laughed. When you got within five feet of her, she suddenly sprang up and dashed away with a huge smile on her face. It was a kind of smile that you would see on a small child who was playing hide-and-seek, scared, but exhilarated at the same time.
"Umm... What?" You asked as you tried to clear away the dust that had been left behind by the over-excited mare. Once you were able to see again, you saw that Roseluck had completely disappeared from view in any direction. 'I...umm... I don't want to know. I'll deal with it later. ' You thought as you turned back in the direction you were previously walking.
After a few more minutes of walking, you found yourself at the door of the Golden Oaks Library. You knocked on the door and it opened slowly to your touch. You looked inside and saw that no lights were on. 'Why are the lights off? Everybody knows Twilight isn't one to sleep in. You walked in cautiously, taking care not to make too much noise. You carefully watched where you were going, which was pretty hard considering it was nearly pitch black in the library. After stumbling around for about five minutes, an idea came to your head. You brought your hands and focused. Several seconds of this caused a dim green light to appear from the tattoos on your palms. You separated your hand to reveal a small ball of fire, about the size of a tennis ball, floating between them. "This is just plain awesome." You said as you admired the small flame. You just stood there looking at the flame for a few minutes before you remembered why you needed it in the first place.
You dropped your hands back to your side and the fire floated up above your right shoulder. Now with enough light to see, you continued to look for the lavender colored alicorn. You looked around the living room, but all you could see was rows upon rows of books in the walls and leftover party decorations from last night. Upon seeing the decorations, your mind is flooded with images of the events that happened during the party.

The Previous Night
*CRASH*
"Pinkie! Was the party canon really necessary?” Rarity asked. “The place was already decorated." You could barely even hear her through the ringing in your ears from the sound of the cannon.
"What do you mean? Any party could always use more streamers!" Pinkie replied rather loudly. The only response she received was a collective hush from everypony in the room.
Pinkie pouted for a second, but her trademark smile was back almost instantly. "Okay everypony, Red, and Discord. Let's get this party started. . . Again," she exclaimed in a hushed voice. After several nods from the ponies around the room, you decided to ask discord a few questions that have been nagging you since your earlier meeting chaotic being.
You looked around for him and found him floating by the snack table eating the paper cups from the cupcakes. You walked over to him and asked, "Hey Discord, what's up?".
He descended and looked at you with a deadpanned expression. After several seconds of uncomfortable staring, he said, "You are going to need a medium.".
"Excuse me?"
"You wondering how to access the "chaotic presence" and bend it to your will. You need a medium," he responded.
"Oh. . .Um, what is a medium?" You asked.
"A medium is an access point in which the chaotic energies can flow, build and release," he said as if it were obvious."
"Oh, okay. Just one more thing," you said.
"What is it?" Discord asked sounding slightly agitated. "How would I go about getting a medium?" You wondered.
"Oh I don't know! Be creative with it or use a rock. I don't really care,” he replied.
'Huh. What’s up with him? ' You thought as you turned away from the table full of sweets and a rather sour Discord.
THUMP
"Christ! My nose!" You cried as you landed face first on the hard wooden library floor. You brought your hand up to check the damage, but when your hand made contact with your obviously broken nose, the tattoos started glowing again. The pain from your face slowly started to fade and you could feel your nose snap back into place, which didn't hurt, but certainly felt weird.
"Healing factor? Damn, I'm a little O.P," you said to yourself.
"Hello?" Called a familiar voice from above you. You tried to look up and see the cause of the voice, but at some point your flame went out and it was really dark again. "Is anypony there?" The voice called again. You had managed to figure the voice belonged to ponyville's resident princess, Twilight Sparkle.
"Twilight? It's me, Red," you called back to her.
"Red? It's about time you came back here. Do you have my candles?" She asked as she cast a light spell that illuminated the library in a purple glow.
"Umm...no?" You replied slightly confused.
"Darn, well come up here. I have a few questions to ask and probably a few answers to give," she said.
"Okay, be right up," you said as you stood up and dusted of the confetti that had stuck to your jacket.
You had made your way up the small staircase and up to the second floor when you saw Twilight sitting in a chair behind a desk with a chair on the other side. when she saw you she gestured to the empty chair and said, "Please take a seat.", and that you did. You were now sitting opposite of Twilight position and she was looking at you with a curious glare.
"Now before we begin, I need you to promise me something," she said.
"What's up?" You asked.
"Do not lie to me," she responded coldly, causing shivers to run down your spine.
"Umm...okay."
"Good, now we can get on with the questions. Are you ready?" She asked
"I guess," you said in a voice that would give Fluttershy a run for her money.
"Great! Let's get started, shall we, Mr. Brony?" She said with a smirk.
"Fuck."
"Hehe..."
Putting things Together (Part 2 of ?)
You sat there in your chair staring at Twilight with a shocked expression, but her look was more one of slight amusement. Questions were shooting through your head at a million miles per hour, but only one managed to find its way out of your mouth.
"But, how?" You asked.
"You told me," she answered, her smirk growing into a smile.
"I did what now?" You asked surprised.
"Last night, right after you got those things on your hands," she said gesturing to your hands. "You, Pinkie and I were walking back from your 'performance' and I was complimenting your musical abilities when you starting singing with Pinkie," she explained. You looked at her quizzically as you once again tried to remember what happened the night before. Images of flashing lights and a crowd of ponies were the only things that came to mind. After coming up with nothing, you asked, "What did we sing?"
"Pinkie’s smile song," she replied. You brought a hand to your face and groaned. "Remind me never to drink again."
"I'll be sure to do that," she said through a giggle, but then took on a more serious look. "So, do you want to tell me how you knew that song?"
You looked up at her with a confused stare and asked, "What do you mean? You just called me a 'Brony' so that should explain it all."
"Not exactly. Last night when I asked how you knew that song, you said that 'Every brony knows that song.'. When I asked what a 'Brony' was, you put a hand over my muzzle and said not to ask too many questions."
". . ." You didn't know how to respond to that. That bit of information was embarrassing and you didn't know what to say, so you just put your head down on the table. Hard. Very hard. A loud "Thump" resonated from the place where you hit your head.
"Red? Are you okay?" Twilight asked, hints of concern in her voice.
". . ."
"Red, say something," Twilight said, the concern in her voice growing.
". . . " Was the only response Twilight got from you.
"Red, this isn't funny. Stop joking around," she said. The concern in her voice turning into a slight panic.
". . ."
"Red?"
". . ."
". . ."
". . ."
".....Z z Z z Z....."
Twilight sat there dumbfounded. After a few seconds of confused blinking she said, "Really? I can't believe you knocked yourself out. What in Equestria would make you do that?" As she reached across the table to try to wake you up, but stopped. She slowly pulled her hoof back as metaphorical light bulb went off above her head. "Hehehe, this just gives me more time to think of more questions to ask."
Twilight then walked away from the table to get some parchment, quills and an inkpot.
Meanwhile, in your mind. . .
"Ya know, Big Mac, you're a pretty cool guy!" You exclaimed as you wrapped one arm around his neck and took a drink of your cup of heavily hardened punch.
"Eeyup," was his only response.
You smiled, looked at him and asked, "You're not a stallion of many words, are you?"
"Nope."
"So tell me. What are you doing here at Twilights?" You asked.
"Jus' came to check on ma' sister," Big Mac replied as he pointed to the sleeping form of Applejack on his back and made his way to the door. Much like the other party goers, Applejack had been out cold for awhile. Except for Lyra and Vinyl, who had never woken up to begin with. You and Discord were the only ones still up, and to your displeasure, Discord wasn't much of a drinking buddy. He was so grumpy and kept mumbling about how he no longer go to have any fun.
Discord had set his cup down on the snack table and yawned. "I think it's about time for me to turn in. It's getting late and I might have stuff to do tomorrow, so good night," he said, and with a snap of his claw he was gone. After he disappeared you sighed and said, "Man this sucks. It's my first night drinking and everybody is passed out after only an hour and a half.". You flopped down and gave a pout like that of a five year old. Bic Mac’s ears perked up when he heard you say this. He walked over to where you were sitting, grabbed the back of your shirt collar between his teeth and started to drag you out of the library.
"Umm, Big Mac. I trust your judgement and all, but would you mind telling me where it is you are taking me?" You asked when you saw Twilight’s still open door pass you by.
"Wrrm guin oot wif fwnds," Big Mac responded, though you couldn't understand him because he still had your shirt in his mouth. "Uhh . . . What?" You asked still wondering what possessed him to start dragging you away from the library.
This time he spit your collar out and said, "Ah' said, We're goin' out with friends. Nopony should ever have only an hour and a half when it's their first time drinkin'. Besides, my friends and Ah' were tryin' to find a new drinkin' buddy anyhow.". After he had finished talking, you stood up and dusted yourself off. "Oh, well if that was the case. You could have just told me," you said.
"So, who are your friends you're taking me to meet?" You asked as you thought of the few different possible stallions that you knew from the show, though not many came to mind.
"Thunderlane, Caramel, Cloudchaser, Dr. Hooves and Mr. Cake," Big Mac answered, not really giving anymore explanation than that as he turned and started walking again.
"Oh okay," you responded. You tried giving faces to the names he gave you. You remembered all but Cloudchaser and this Dr. Hooves guy. The more you thought about it, the more Cloudchaser seemed to fade from your thoughts and Dr. Hooves became more prominent. You couldn't shake the feeling you should know who he was.
Noticing Big Mac was far ahead of you, you stopped thinking about Dr. Hooves and ran to catch up with him.
'I'll probably figure out who it is when I meet him.'
You slowly opened your eyes upon waking up. You lifted your head of the table and looked around the dimly lit room and saw Twilight hunched over a desk with a quill zooming across a sheet of parchment.
You squinted your eyes and read what seemed to be the title of the page. "Questions to ask Red part 7."
Your eyes widened as you saw Twilight levitate the parchment over to a neat pile and started to work on part eight. You immediately started searching around the room for any means of escape. After several second of searching, you noticed the balcony door behind you and thankfully on the opposite end of the room from Twilight.
As silently as you could, you got up from your chair and started making your way to the balcony. You made it about halfway there when you heard, "Alright, that should just about do it.". You quickened your pace, opened the door and shut it behind you and tried hiding behind the door.
You facepalmed when you realized you tried to hide behind a glass door. You looked back over your shoulder in hopes that Twilight hadn't seen you yet. She had. Twilight was staring at you with an annoyed glare that sent shivers down your spine. You then looked over the balcony railing to see how far the drop was. It was about fifteen feet to the ground. You looked back at Twilight, then back at the ground, trying to decide if escaping her would be worth another fall. After another glance at Twilight, you grabbed the railing and jumped over.
What was waiting down on the ground for you was a very upset Rainbow Dash.
Yep. A new chapter. It's pretty short, but I have my reasons why that I will share on a later date.
BTW: Macandcheese6 is a great editor and all, but I want more than just one, so anypony with a gmail wanna help?
Do keep in mind that some editing skill is required, so if you feel up to it, then PM me
BTW II: It may have seemed like I grazed over the "Brony" thing, but it will come back to bite Red in the ass.
Thanks for reading!
Putting things Together (Part 3 of 4)
You looked up at the agitated, spectrum maned pegasus then back at the alicorn princess, who had started screaming from atop her balcony. Twilights angered screams had become an unrecognizable jumble of sounds, so you looked back at Rainbow and told her, "Listen, I don't know what I did, but as long as it gets me away from here, then I am willing to take any form of punishment you offer."
Rainbow seemed taken aback by your statement, but then quickly went back to her agitated state. She looked up at Twilight then back at you, squinting her eyes. She stared at you for a few moments, as if to decide what to do with you then said, " Yeah, I understand why you want to get away from here. Just get up and follow me, and we better hurry before you know who decides to come down here and get you herself."
Your eyes widen with that realization. "Yeah let's get out of here! Please, lead the way," you said as you picked yourself off the ground and gestured her to take the lead. Rainbow nodded and took off it the direction towards town which you quickly followed. As you ran, you could hear fading yells that said that you would have to answer their questions eventually.
'Not on your life Princess,' you thought as you strained to keep up with Rainbow.
"Umm. Rainbow, why are we here?" You asked as you stared at the candy coated building in front of you. You tried to think of any possible reason why coming to Sugarcube Corner would be a punishment, but you couldn't come up with anything.
"Oh, you'll see," Rainbow replied as she slowly opened the door. You didn't know why, but the way she said that sent chills down your spine. Perhaps it was the small smirk she had. You followed her to the door and peered inside.
It would have been completely dark if not for the single lit candle in the center of the lone table in the middle of the room.
"Hey, Rainbow? What's going on here? Why is it so da-AHHK!" You were cut off as you felt hooves pushing you forward and the sound of the door slamming. You started to pick yourself off the ground, but stopped. You got the feeling that someone or something was watching you.
You looked up to see the smiling face of Pinkie Pie mere inches from your own. After nearly jumping out of your skin and calming your heart-rate back down to a possible speed you noticed something was different about her. Her mane was a lot less poofy than you remembered. It was very flat.
'What the hell did I do?!' You asked yourself as you watched Pinkie slowly advance on you, her smile growing creeper with every step. You saw that she seemed to be balancing something on her head. It looked like a cupcake.
"Pinkie please just let me-UMM" You tried to plead, only to have yet another cupcake shoved into your mouth. You tried with all of your strength to combat the ever coming barrage of iced pastries, but there was not much you could do when you have your hands tied behind your back, and Pinkie took extra special care to keep your hands from touching. So you were not using your new found abilities to get out of this.
You swallowed down the remnants of the cake as she said "Now, now, Red. Don't talk, you might choke, silly. So, how did that one taste?" She replied with her usual smile. the look she had sported not five minutes had almost completely disappeared. You started looking around the now lit room for some means of escape as Pinkie prepared another cupcake. Try as you might, you couldn't find an escape route in the area.
'Oh come on! There has to be a way outta here! I just have to think... You searched the deepest, darkest places of your brain, but nothing came to you. You started racking your brain for something when you saw her approach with the sixth cupcake so far. Each one being more extravagant and sugary then the last.
"Pinkie, why are you doing this!?" You screamed at the bouncing pink mare. Your irritated expression must have flown right past her, because she kept her smiling face and bouncing stride as she moved closer to you. "Pinkie? Come on Pinkie this isn't funny anymore," you said desperately only to receive a blank stare.
"You said you didn't like my cupcakes," she said in reply to your earlier question. This only confused you more.
"What do you mean? I never said that," you replied. 'Who wouldn't like Pinkie's cupcakes?
"Yes you did. It was last night, after we got you back from Big Mac and his buddies," Pinkie answered, her expression turning from extremely happy to slightly worried.
You tried to remember what she was talking about, but the last thing you remembered was leaving with Big Mac. Nothing after, so you decided to ask Pinkie what happened. "Pinkie? Do you think you could tell me what happened?"
She stared at you for several uncomfortable seconds before asking, "You really don't remember do you?".
"Not really, no."
"Oh, okay then! Twilight discovered you were gone and figured Big Mac had taken you out for drinks without anypony else noticing when he came to pick up Applejack. Not knowing if you could get lost or something worse, she woke up the rest of the girls and Discord and started looking for you," she explained. She paused for a second so you could get all of that. After going over it in your head, you nodded for her to continue.
"Twilight said that we were starting a search party and I was like 'Yay!', but then Twilight told me it wasn't an actual party which confused me. I mean, why call it a party if it isn't a party? But anyways, we searched up and down Ponyville and we found you in 'The Mannered Mare' and you got the whole bar singing a very funny song. Twilight saw Big Mac in the corner of the bar and went to go ask him what was happening. He told us that he found you still awake after we had all fallen asleep and invited you to go out drinking with him and his friends. Just like Twilight thought! *gasp* When we finally got over to you, we found you dancing with Cloudchaser. You looked like you were having so much fun that I didn't want to interrupt you, but Twilight said we needed to gather everypony and get some rest."
'Wow. How does she talk for so long?' You wondered. You thought about what she said, and small flashes would appear. You could see yourself dancing with Cloudchaser and singing, but you don't quite remember what song it was.
"So Pinkie, you told me about what happened last night which I am very grateful for, but why did I say I wouldn't eat your cupcakes?" You asked, still curious about it.
"Oh right, I forgot! Well, after we all got back to the Twilight's library I thought it would be a good idea to celebrate, so I got my super-duper special strawberry filled, rainbow frosted cupcakes! But when I offered you one you just sat there and stared at it. When I asked what was wrong, you gave me meanest stare ever and said 'I refuse to eat this monstrosity' and then you ran back outside." She replied through a few sniffles.
What? Why would I say that? Wait... Rainbow frosted... I'm a god damned idiot! You thought as you stared at the sobbing Pinkie Pie, her mane flat once again.
"Pinkie?" You offered. She looked up with curious, teary eyes. "Listen, I'm sorry I said that about your cupcake, and believe me when I say that I would love to eat more of them, but where I come from rainbow frosted cupcakes have a very dark meaning behind them. That is why I freaked out last night, but even then I was out of line. Can you forgive me?" You asked.
"Are you really sorry?" She asked, her eyes filling with a little bit of hope.
"I am Pinkie," you said with a small smile.
"Then of course I forgive you, silly!" She yelled as she tackled you to the ground.
'Damn. That was easy. You thought as you lay there as in the pony's embrace, still tied to the chair.
"Hey Pinkie? Do you think you could untie me know? My arms are starting to cramp."
"Oh, sorry. Let me get that real quick," Pinkie replied through a giggle.
"Okay bye!" You called back into the bakery.
"Bye! Come again soon!" Pinkie called back as you shut the door behind you.
You started walking in a random direction as you wondered what you were going to do for the rest of the day. You haven't really needed to think about it since everything that has happened to you since coming to Equestria has been out of your control. This is the first time you have had time to yourself.
As you walked, you let your mind wonder. You started about the events that had happened at Sugarcube Corner. 'Wait a second. Rainbow led me to Sugarcube Corner with the knowledge about what was going to happen, then Pinkie tied me to a undersized chair and force fed me an assortment of cupcakes, and I was the one who wound up apologizing for something I'm not even sure happened.' You realized. You looked down at the basket in your hand and thought, 'Oh well at least I got some cupcakes out the whole ordeal.' .
"Remind me never to piss them off... Again..." You said to yourself. You continued to walk in the random direction you choose with no real goal in mind, having a good time as you plotted your revenge against Rainbow when you heard the two voices that no brony would want to hear.
"What's wrong, Blank Flank?" The two high pitched voices said in unison. You looked down the street directly to your right and found the origin of the voices. They belonged to a small pink filly with a purple and white mane with a tiara adorning her head; a similar one on her flank. Next to her was her ever present companion. She had a gray coat, a silver mane and a spoon as her cuitemark. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. You were tempted to keep on walking, but then you noticed who they were picking on.
She was a small orange pegasus filly with a dark purple mane and no cutiemark. It was Scootaloo, the pony you often spoke about when a conversation turned into a "Who is best pony?" argument. From the looks of it, they had been picking on
Silver Spoon's and Diamond Tiara's backs were to you and Scootaloo hadn't seen you yet, so you hid behind the corner of the closest building to you and thought, 'Now how can I leave those two little fillies with their tails between their legs? . You stood there for a few moments as you thought when it finally came to you.
'Oh Red, you are an evil genius! You thought.
You set down your cupcakes, brought both of your palms together and focused on the image in your head. A green glow started emitting from your hands. The glow slowly spread across your body and down your legs. Your hoodie started to turn gray as it started to tear away leaving only your hood. Your pants started to tear away also as their blue turned black. Your shirt had disappeared, leaving only your now muscle bound chest. A large chained metal clamp formed around your neck; the chain broken about eight inches down.
You looked down at yourself with a smile creeping across your face. You pulled your now gray and tattered hood over your head. A shadow come over your face, leaving nothing visible but your sharp toothed smile and a pair of glowing orange eyes.
You turned around the corner and started slowly walking down the street. You had made it about ten feet away from the three fillies when you noticed something that made you come up short. Scootaloo had her head pointing down and a single tear trailing down her muzzle.
Your anger flared. You knew how Scootaloo was. She was strong. She would never cry to what they would say. What they said must have been truly awful. Before you could stop yourself, you took of running and jumped over the fillies. You landed behind Scootaloo and glared at the offending fillies. All three fillies stared up at you, looks of pure terror adorned their faces. You crouched down close to Scootaloo focused on Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. "I'm going to give you two three seconds to get out of here before I do it myself," you said in a voice that would make Hades himself quiver in fear.
Without a second thought, the two fillies took off in the opposite direction. You looked down at the filly underneath you, who seems even more scared than the ones who just took off. You stood up and backed away from her to give her some space, the whole time she never broke eye contact with you.
"W-why did you do that?" Asked Scootaloo with a scared whimper in her voice.
"I really don't like bullies," you replied simply with traces of venom in your voice. "Especially when they make somebody cry."
"Cry?! I wasn't crying! I just had something in my eye!" She exclaimed, only to receive a look from you, which made her back up a little. Deciding that you scared the poor filly enough, you put your palms back together and transformed back into your usual self.
After the transformation was completed you looked down at Scootaloo and asked, "So, you okay?".
"Yeah, I'm good. Thanks I guess," she said as she looked off it the distance. You followed her gaze and saw two small figures fading over the horizon. "What did you do to them?" She asked.
You thought about it for a second and said "Let's just say I left them a little disturbed.". You laughed at your joke while Scootaloo gave you a funny look.
"I don't know whether to be scared of you or think you're weird," she said with a look of concern.
"It would probably be safer to do both," you replied with a chuckle. You paused and looked at the sky, you saw the sun starting to dip down.
"It's getting pretty late. You should probably be getting home soon. Your parents must be worried," you suggested to the filly.
"Yeah... My parents... I gotta go," she replied in a soft voice before running off.
"It's been nice meeting you!" You called after her. You turned and started walking in the direction you had set your cupcakes. You picked up the basket and started walking back down the way you started a few minutes ago, before you found Scootaloo.
"Hmm... Let's see what else happens today," you said, knowing that it is never good idea to use those words.

An Old Friend, Chaos and Dirty Thoughts (Part one of three)
* * * * * P.O.V: Celestia * * * * *
You were sitting in front on the large fireplace in your room on a purple cushion large enough to serve as a second bed, reading some of the letters your "Most faithful student" had sent you in the past. You had just finished reading one from Twilights friend Applejack, who in the letter said that she had learned nothing and she had been right about what to do with the situation.
'Well, she certainly fits her element well, but she could be a little more humble,” you thought with a light chuckle.
You had just finished the letter when a wisp of magic came floating through the open balcony doors. The wisp of magic soon made its way over and stopped just above your head. You looked up at it as it solidified into a scroll. It fell and smacked you right in the face, landing on the floor.
You looked over at the scroll with a look of surprise. 'Nopony sends letters at this hour. I wonder who it could be, you pondered. You levitated the scroll over to you and examined it. It was held together by a light purple ribbon and it bore Princess Twilight's new royal emblem.
You unraveled the scroll and it read:
Dear Princess Celestia,
I am fairly tired and it is very late, so I will try to keep this short and to the point.
Yesterday a pony named Trixie came to Ponyville to apologize for the troubles she had caused
the townsponies in the past. When she stood in front of the crowd in front of townhall, Rainbow Dash yelled at her and she was pelted with rotten fruit.
Needless to say, she ran off.
I gathered the girls and followed her to try and comfort her, but when we found her, we saw her arguing with a strange, bipedal, furless creature in the Everfree forest. I admit that we may have jumped to conclusions by attacking the creature. I blasted it with my magic, but the blast seemed to roll off of him as if he were immune. It seemed really surprised that we attacked it but it still ran. We chased it, mostly because I wanted to know why it was arguing with Trixie.
We chased it until we reached a cliff, but it seemed to disappear, so we gave up the search for then. We started to go home, but Rainbow Dash refused to leave until she found Trixie. She and Applejack argued until Rainbow Dash flew off further into the forest. The rest of us chased her to the best of our ability, but Fluttershy and I are simply not fast enough fliers and everypony else couldn't see her through the thick canopy of the forest.
The next day, I had gathered my friends at the library, except for Rainbow Dash, and went to search for the two missing ponies. We were about to leave when Lyra Heartstrings, and a red pony who was a friend of hers, who had two large lumps on his head, knocked on the door. I allowed them in and Lyra's Friend introduced himself as "Red Hearts" and explained that he was the creature from the night before and he had found Trixie crying in the forest and went to comfort her. He had her do an emotional exercise where he would insult her and she would ignore it.
They did this for several minutes before he said something that really hurt her and she yelled at him for it. We had just so happened to show up then, so the scene looked a lot worse than it really was.
We set out to the forest to find Trixie and Rainbow Dash.
After about fifty minutes of searching, Red came out with a sleeping Trixie on his back, but not a sight of Rainbow Dash. We started to head back to Ponyville when Red Hearts changed back to his original form which he called his "Human body". I examined his strange body when Rainbow Dash found us, but she thought Red Hearts was some sort of monster because of the previous night.
He ran and she tackled him to the ground and attacked his back, but fell asleep in the middle of her assault. Red Hearts put her over his shoulder and did the same to Trixie and carried them all the way back to the library.
Red Hearts, Rainbow Dash and Trixie are all asleep downstairs right now and I should probably do the same so I am going to finish this up.
I just felt it was necessary to let you know this all happened.
Your still faithful student, Twilight Sparkle
P.S: I would like to bring Red Hearts up to Canterlot and introduce him to you, but only with your permission.
You levitated a piece of parchment, a quill and an ink pot over to yourself and began writing your response.
Dear Twilight,
I must say that your letter contained quite the interesting tale and I would be honored to meet this "Human" who went out of his way to try to comfort then find one of my little ponies. Please come as soon as you are able.
Princess Celestia
You sent away the letter with a flash of your horn. This was really piquing your interest, especially the one known as Red Hearts. You got up and walked to your chamber door. You opened the door and asked one of the two guards to go get Princess Luna.
"Excuse me sir, but do you think you could go fetch my sister for me?" You asked with a warm smile.
"At once your highness!" Said the guard as he rushed off.
You receded back into your chambers and sat upon your bed examining the letter again. After several minutes, you hear you doors open and you look up to see Luna looking at you with a curious expression written upon her face.
"You wanted to see me Celestia?" She asked.
"Yes I did Luna," you answered as you levitated the letter over to her. "I would like you to read this and tell me what you think."
"Okay..." She replied slowly, grabbing the letter out of her magic with her own.
You watched as her eyes scanned over the parchment and a smile spread across her face. When she finally looked up from the letter you asked. "Why are you smiling like that?"
"Oh it's nothing. I'm just glad to know he is making friends," she said, her smile growing a little.
"You say that as if you know him," you said.
"Well, I would like to think I do. Seeing as how I'm the one who brought him here," she replied with a smug look.
You were dumbfounded. "How did you accomplish this? It takes an incredible amount of magical power than even I do not have to bring a human to Equestria. I must know how you accomplished this!" You exclaimed with your excitement growing.
"Well if I am to be honest, it wasn't my power alone," she answered.
"What do you mean?" You asked.
"Red Hearts also contributed to the pool of magic that was required to bring him here," she replied.
"But the human world is devoid of any magical presence," you stated.
"That is not true sister. Do you not remember Starswirl the bearded? The human world does in fact contain magic, all that matters is if one can access it and manipulate it," she explained.
"But their magic is so much different than ours. Even Starswirl had a hard time controlling it," you replied.
"Even he said that each human has a different type of magic about them, dear sister, besides, his type of magic is very adaptable, one might say," she retorted.
"Care to explain Luna?" You asked.
"All will be revealed shortly," she said.
You sat there staring at her smirking face when something hit you. "Hey I'm supposed to be the cryptic one!" You yelled, causing your sister to start rolling on the floor in a fit of giggles.
After she calmed down she asked, "So when are you gonna let him come up here?”.
"I told Twilight to bring him up here as soon as possible, so he should be here around midday tomorrow," you answered.
"Oh good, that gives us plenty of time," she said with a very scary looking smile.
"What do you mean sister?" You asked.
"Well the human world has made a thing called a television. Televisions play recordings to inform or entertain their viewers and those are called T.V shows. And they somehow made a T.V show about Twilight and her adventures in Ponyville," she explained.
"Yes I know this, carry on," you said.
"Well if you know about the show, then surely you know about the bronies, correct?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Okay. So it just so happens that Red Hearts is one, so I decided we should play a little prank on him when he gets here, and I know how much you like pranks," she explained as she brought her to front hooves together and her evil smile grew bigger.
A smile spread across your lips and you said, "What do you have in mind?"

"Aww, isn't that cute?" Twilight asked.
"Ah' think yer' right Twi, it is pretty darn adorable," said Applejack in a giggly voice.
"I think it's quite a sweet little scene," Rarity agreed.
"Meh. Who cares about that kind of stuff anyways?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Oh come now, are you telling me that you don't find this endearing?" Asked Rarity in a not-so surprised voice.
"NO! . . . I mean, no I don't. It just seems- I don't know. Weird I guess," Rainbow Dash replied.
"Rainbow Dash, is there something you're not telling us? Asked Twilight.
"W- what!? No there isn't!" Replied Rainbow Dash hesitantly. "Don't you guys have a schedule to keep?"
"Oh yeah! I should probably wake them up." Answered Twilight.
"Hey Red. It's time to get up," said Twilight, gently shaking your shoulder.
"Mmmmph."
"Come on Red, you need to get up," Twilight asserted.
"Rmm. . .ucking campers. . . "
"Campers? Who is campin'?" Asked Applejack.
"Red It Is Time To Get Up!" Twilight shouted, raising her voice. "Hrmm. . . Huh? What's goin' on?" You asked, finally waking up.
"What's going on is I'm trying to get you up so you can get ready to meet Princess Celestia. So why don't you and your mare-friend get up so we can go," Twilight replied.
"The Princess? I'll need to shower first, but I have no- wait, mare-friend?" You questioned. Everypony replies by pointing at you and giggling. You looked down to see a very snuggled up looking Trixie laying half-way on your stomach. "Oh." Was all you could say as a very visible blush went across your face.
"Um, Trixie?" You said trying to wake her up. She responds by snuggling in a little more. A round of giggles were produced by everypony else.
"Trixie!" You exclaimed with your voice slightly raised, only to receive the same result. 'That's it. You thought. You stuck two fingers in our mouth and received curious stares from the other ponies in the room. You blew into your fingers and a extremely loud whistle that made the ponies cover their ears.
Trixie didn't even stir.
"You are the heaviest sleeper I have ever met," you said in an annoyed tone.
"Umm. . . What?" She asked as she opened her eyes. 'Really?' You asked yourself.
"I'm gonna need you to get up so I can go meet Princess Celestia," you said with a slightly forced smile.
She looked up at you with a blank stare, then she looked down at where she was laying and moved as far away from you so fast that even Rainbow Dash was impressed.
"Sorry, I- I was just-" Trixie started to say, but you raised a hand to silence her. "Listen. I don't know why you were asleep on me, nor do I really mind. But who can blame you, I am pretty damn sexy," you said, cocking an eyebrow and putting on you cheesiest smile, causing Trixie to blush profusely, and Applejack and Rarity to laugh a little.
"Well if you're done flirting, we need to get you ready. We have a schedule to keep," Twilight interjected, obviously missing the joke behind your sentence.
"Okay jeez, but I do have a question. How do you propose I get ready if all I have is the clothes on my back, and one missing slipper?" You asked.
"Well if it's clothes you're worried about then I can take care of that darling, but I will need your measurements," Rarity offered.
"Are you sure? I don't have any money to pay you back," you replied.
"Oh, payment won't be necessary. Just think of it as my way of saying sorry for running you off a cliff," she said with a laugh.
"Oh, okay," you said. 'At least she didn't say "It's a challenge" or "I am the element of generosity after all" like in those fanfictions. You sighed inwardly.
"Speaking of apologies. Rainbow, is there anything you would like to say?" Twilight asked while nudging Rainbow Dash.
She took a few tentative steps closer and looked away, and you just sat there staring at her wondering how you didn't notice her presence until now. She looked back at you with an ashamed expression and said, "I'm sorry. . . "
"Excuse me?"
"I said I'm sorry."
"One more time." You said leaning in closer.
"I SAID I’M SORRY!"
"Oh okay. You're forgiven," you said as you tried to rub the ringing out of your ears.
"Right . . . We'd better get going if you want those clothes ready by the time you meet Celestia," said Rarity.
"Okay, lets go. These sweat pants are comfy, but are a bit warm for outside wear."
* * * * * * * *
You and Rarity had left the library and headed through town to the Carousel Boutique. You made it about half way there in complete silence before Rarity asked you this, "So Red, All I know about you is what has happened to you in the past few days, so would it be to much to ask more about you?"
"Not a problem Rarity. There isn't much to know but I'll try to answer any questions you have about me to the best of my ability," you said with a smile.
"That's great!" She said excitedly. "I guess the first thing I would like to know is what life was back where you came from."
"Do you mean me, or life in general?" You asked.
"You," she answered.
"Alright. My life was kinda boring though. I didn't really do much back at home and mess around the internet or play video games. I never really had many friends, if any for that matter. I never had much of a family either. My dad was always a violent drunk, so I tried to stay away from him as much as possible. I also never went to any family gatherings, because dad always said they were a waste of time. I read a lot of comic books too. If not for the righteous heroes and the obviously evil villains, then I probably would be a very nasty jerk, what I mean by that is, I learned my morals from the comics and not any negative sources. Though some would argue that comic books are a negative source. My life has been pretty bland, and not much to look at," you explained. "Ya' got anymore questions for me?" You asked.
"You said you didn't have any friends, but that can't be right. You seem so nice and charming, surely you had at least one friend right?" She questioned.
You sighed at this."Yes. I did have a friend once, a great friend that I talked to every hour of every day. We could talk about anything from T.V shows to Music. Oh we would talk about music all of the time. We played together as well, but it would always sound weird. You see, she played the cello, and I would play the electric guitar, but we liked our sound even if others didn't," you told her.
"That is, until one day she just up and vanished," you said through a small sniffle. You had stopped in the middle of the street in front of the boutique. There weren't many other ponies around, but the ones who were started staring a little more intently than before. "I didn't know what to do. Everyday I missed her. My best friend just gone," you told her, tears now starting to cascade down your face. "And the worst part is that nobody seemed to remember her. It was like she never existed. I was the only one with any memory of her and it hurt me everytime someone said she was never there," you were on your knees at this point, letting your tears fall to the ground. You felt Rarity put her front legs around your neck and pull you into a hug. She nuzzled your cheek while whispering soothing words into your ear that you could barely make out over your sobs. You sat there in her embrace for a few minutes before saying, "Thanks Rarity. I needed that." and getting to your feet to dusting yourself off.
"Of course dear, now come along. We need to get started on your new clothes!" She exclaimed brightening up your mood.
"Okay, but can I make one request?" You asked.
"Go ahead darling," she replied.
"Try to keep the sparkles to a minimum," you said through a smile.
"If I must," she said with a playful pout.
* * * * * * * *
You had spent the last few hours over at Rarity's boutique and through the large amount of standing around and being pricked with needles, enough so that the phrase "Sorry darling" will be permanently etched into your head, but you were rewarded with three new sets of clothing. All brightly colored, much to your disdain.
"Thank you so much Rarity. This means a lot to me," you said as you headed to the door.
"Anytime darling, but may I ask one thing?" She asked. You nodded and she asked, "What was her name?"
"Tavi. Her name was Tavi," you answered.
I think I'm getting faster at writing, because normally it would take me a few days to get this much, but this only took me only eight hours with interruptions.
Thanks to macandcheese6 for editing. If you feel like it then throw a like on this hot mamajama, and again, thanks for reading!
