She had to buy an ice cream? That's it? Not saving Equestria, or stopping an ancient evil, but buying an ICE CREAM? Even though she was upset, she didn't want to disappoint the princess, and so, she left the library. "Hello, Pinkie." said Twilight grumpily, entering the local bakery. "Oh, hi Twilight!" said Pinkie, giving Twilight a cheerful smile. "What brings you here today? Not that you need a reason to come see me! Oh! Let me guess! You're here to learn the ancient ways of the 'thowingopartyojutsu'? Or maybe you just wanted-" "No Pinkie," Twilight cut her off, starting to get annoyed by her antics "I'm here to buy an ice cream for Princess Celestia. She could have asked someone else but oh no! It had to be her faithful student that does the job. Anyway, she said that she wanted 'that one flavor'. Why is she so cryptic? It's not as if the world is about to end. Pinkie? What's wrong?" asked Twilight concerned of Pinkie's sudden seriousness. "There is no time to lose Twilight Sparkle," Stated Pinkie in a tone that no one could have imagined her using. "Take this and hurry. Time is of the essence," she said, giving Twilight a rainbow colored ice cream from apparently out of nowhere. "Uh, thanks? I'll be going now bye," said Twilight hastily, running out of the building. After being a safe enough distance from the pink pony, Twilight stopped running, exhausted. 'What was wrong with her? She was acting even weirder than usual...I guess I'm just going to have to accept this and move on, to preserve my sanity.' Twilight thought. Now that she had obtained the odd looking ice cream, she used all her might to cast the teleporting spell. FLASH Slowly opening her eyes, Twilight found herself in the throne room. "Princess, I have your ice-WHAT IS THAT?" she yelled, suddenly noticing the battle unfolding before her. The princess was firing spells at a terrifying clown-like demon. The demon was firing back using his own hair and eyebrows as projectiles. "Quickly Twilight! You must throw the Cream of Harmony into the beast's mouth while I'm stalling it! It's our only hope!" Princess Celestia cried out. "What," Twilight deadpanned. "Just do it!" yelled Celestia. Twilight obeyed, and threw the ice cream into the abomination's mouth. The demon quickly swallowed. "Is cold! You all so mean!" the demon yelled, his eyes teary. And just like that he dissipated in smoke. The day after, a party was thrown in the castle, to celebrate Twilight's accomplishment. "Thanks to Twilight, Equestria has been saved once again!" said Celestia to the crowd of ponies before her. Thousands started to sing a song about Twilight's heroic actions. Twilight could only muster one word: "What."

I hope you're doing well, as last time I saw you, you were hitting your head on a wall crying : 'God purge me of my sins!' The real reason I'm writing this letter is that I need your help. I need you to NOT start a revolution to overthrow me. I have complete confidence in your non-abilities. Your kind queen, Celestia the XVI." "Huh." said Twilight with a shrug, throwing piece of paper in the pile of other letters. "Why did the princess send me so many cryptic letters lately?" she questioned, searching for the real meaning the letter. 'She must be testing me! To see if I can start a Revolution by myself!' she thought, not speaking, in case a spy assigned by Celestia was listening. 'I'm going to make a speech that nopony will ever forget. And after that, Celestia will surely think that I'm the best student she could ever have! She'll be so proud of me!' At the town square, she waited for sufficient amount of ponies to stop by, before starting her speech: "Ponies of Ponyville. I am here today to tell you the truth, and nothing else. The princess you've worshiped for so long is actually a fraud. That's right! She lied about everything!" The crowd muttered, unsure of what do think. "The promises she made never were fulfilled, and the ponies who tried to reason with her were turned to stone! You heard me right: every statue in the royal garden were in fact real, breathing ponies." Her audience gasped. "Even now she is probably lying, deceiving, scheming and doing evil things for her own selfish needs!" "We need to overthrow this evil! We need to unit ! We need to take our flanks to Canterlot, and turn her to stone, as she did to others! Who's with me?" The crowed shouted in agreement. "You can count on us, Twilight!" yelled Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and even Fluttershy. "Very well. Let's go." ************************ Arriving to Canterlot, the ponies prepared themselves to the battle to come. "ATTAAAACK!" yelled Twilight as loud as she could. The battle was spectacular. Spells were flying everywhere, pegasi were battling in the air, and ponies from the city joined the revolution as well. Finally, after two hours, the war was over. The royal guards were defeated, and the ones that remained standing, ran away from the city. "Only one pony to go," said Twilight, turning to face the palace As the doors of the castle opened, everypony readied themselves. When the doors were finally opened, the Goddess of the Sun came out, and the tension was unimaginable. "Twilight. You have started a war against a goddess. It is a battle you cannot win." said Celestia, with her usual motherly tone. "Your evilness ends here, Princess Celestia! Equestria needs a new leader, one that is kind, smart, and purple !" "Do you really think you have the power to beat me? How laughable." said Celestia mockingly. "I may be not powerful enough on my own...but with the power of friendship on the other hoof..." said Twilight while starting to charge up the Elements of Harmony with her friends. "No! Twilight, please! Don't do it! No! NOOOO!" yelled Celestia as the rainbow of friendship hit her. At last, the battle was over. The ponies celebrated by throwing a tea party. "Now that my task is over, we should probably turn her back to normal, so that she can go back to ruling Equestria." "What?! You did not really believe that she was a tyrannical ruler?" asked Rarity, shocked. "Of course not! This was just a test she assigned me with, to see if I could start a revolution by myself." said Twilight smiling happily. "..." A silence loomed over the room. "Twilight," said Spike "I'm pretty sure you did not read the letter properly. The letter said to NOT start a revolution !" "Oh." said Twilight neutrally. "Well then I guess, I'm going..." she was cut off by a terrifying shout. "WHAT HAVE THOU DONE TO OUR SISTER, TWILIGHT SPARKLE !" yelled Luna, her voice filled with anger, and her eyes glowing white. Having finally made contact with an alien race, Empress Celestia had an idea... "Dear Twilight Sparkle I've been busy in Canterlot with some political problems. And this time, that is why I need your help. We've made contact with a new alien race, but we don't have an ambassador. We need you to go up to their planet using the spaceship I've glued to the letter. I have complete and utter confidence in your abilities as an negotiator. Your Galactic Empress, Celestia." Using the spaceship found inside the envelope, Twilight went in space, with her friends, to the alien planet. Almost arriving to their star vessel station, Twilight had a thought : 'These species are clearly inferior to us ponies. Maybe I should enslave them and sell them to ponies back on our planet. It could improve Equestria greatly, sending us into a new era of glory!' Having landed, the mechanical aliens known as Berghs greeted them, "Salutations, ponies of Equestria. I hope you are ready to negotiate the peace treaty between our race." "Why yes, of course!" said Twilight, faking a smile. "Good. Then, let's proceed." Arriving in their Political Room, both parties sat down on comfortable chairs. During the time it took for her to sit down, Twilight thought of an ingenious plan. "So, pony of Equestria, what are your terms?" demanded the Bergh politician Of course, Twilight had it all planned out, "I just wish for us to coexist in harmony : us as master, and you as our slaves." "This is madness! You've just declared war on us, ponies of Ponyland!" yelled the Bergh, taking out their phaser, on the stun setting. Twilight smirked, "Oh I am quite aware of that. Commander Dash, beam us back to the ship immediately." "Huh, Captain, I cannot do such thing, since I, and the rest of the crew are not the ship." said Dash. Twilight's smirk grew wider, "Well then...it seems we'll have to 'blast' our way out." Dash became more and more worried, "We also let all of our weapons on board, Captain." Entering the memory recover-er mare shop, Twilight ran to the counter. "Quick! Check to see if my memories are still in my brain!". "Hum...everything's here, miss. Nothing to worry about," the mare said. Twilight wasn't buying any of that, and the only other way to recover your missing memories would be to ask her friends about herself. "PINKIE!" I have the perfect plan to stop this madness. All I need, is a bag full of clocks!" she said while running out of her hiding place. ~~~ Twilight watched her work from the throne. "Aah, if only Darkstallion could see me now. He would've been proud." "TWILIGHT!" she could see a pink pony approaching her, with a big bag on her back. "Hello, pink pony." Twilight said with a neutral tone. "I'm going to end this nightmare!" "Oh? And what are you going to do, weakling? Bag me to death?" "Actually...I was thinking of clocking you to death!" she said as she launched the bag into her trusty 'Party Cannon'. Apparently, a lavender black hole had absorbed Canterlot, killed everypony in it, and was making it's way towards Ponyville! 'I must find the others...the Elements of Harmony will fix this!' Twilight ran out of the library's' door. ---- Way later... ---- "Okay everypony! I gathered you all here today to discuss about our imminent fight against doomsday!" "An old prophecy suggested that one day, the Princesses would forget to close their balcony door, thus letting a huge lavender black hole enter, destroying everything. " "Today, that prophecy has been proven correct, and we now have a lavender black hole of doom and death approaching at an alarming rate..." "...but do not fear girls, as I have created a plan that will surely defeat this spawn of Discord." "I will enter the lavender black hole, find the Canterlot, grab the Elements that's stored in Canterlot's Tower, get out, and then we'll use them to purge the world of all evil, and now that the princesses are gone, make me the Queen of Ponykind!" "Any questions? Good." Twilight finished with a smug smile. Seeing as the lavender black hole of evil, doom and death was halfway towards it's goal of digesting all, Twilight used her trusty trampoline to jump in it. ---- Lavender Black Hole, ???, 5:00 ---- "Urgh..." Twilight stood up. "Where...am I?" She began examining her surroundings: She was in what looked like a lavender copy of Canterlot, with featureless purple ponies walking around the city, as if everything was normal. The whole was made more disturbing by the fact that everything was silent, if it wasn't for the hoof-steps they made. Twillight, scared of bringing attention to herself, started trotting rapidly towards the palace, without noticing that the purple beings stared at her with their eyeless visages. Arriving at the palace, she started to notice the stares, and began running towards the tower. "Twilight..." she turned to face the voice, and was greeted with a horrifying face, inches of her face: Celestia's. "I would find it best if you could stay with us, forever." Now completely terrified, she teleported out of there, and was now next to the vault of the Elements. Having taught herself lock-picking techniques, she quickly opened the purple vault, and was greeted with a purple case. Peeking in it to see if the Elements were still in it, she was surprised to see they were not all purple, unlike everything else. "The Lavender has united us, Twilight." Twilight turned to face her mentor. "And now it shall teach you the way." Celestia opened her mouth, and tentacles came out of it, grabbing Twilight by the legs. Filled with fear, Twilight did the only thing she could think of: she grabbed the Element's case with her magic, and banged it on the Princess's head, knocking her out instantly. "Well... that was anti-climactic." Twilight sighted out loud. "Now to find the exit..." "Lavendeeer..." Twilight heard a crowd of shouts, coming from the palace's corridors. "Think, Twilight, think! Were would the portal out of a dimensional anomaly be? ...Of course!" Twilight ran to the far end of the room, and opened the door labeled: "Emergency toilets". She was greeted with the sight of a portal. Hearing the voices approaching, Twilight firmly held the case in her magic, and jumped in. ---- Ponyville, Equestria, 5:03 ---- 'Have...have I done it? Am I back in the library?' As Twilight stood up, she noticed she was lying in her bed, her friends by her side. "Twi!" cried Rainbow Dash, clearly happy to see Twilight in one piece. "I totally did not cry over you , or anything. But now that you're here, let's use the Elements against that freaky thing!" They ran outside, and noticed that the sky was nearly completely consumed by the purple abomination. "Quickly girls! Put the Elements on! We have merely seconds before the sky is completely covered!" A purple hand descended from the sky, trying to grab them before they could prepare themselves. As the fist closed on them, and all seemed lost, the world had became completely silent. ...Rays of rainbow light started pouring out of the hand. It slowly lost it's grip, and a full scale rainbow was shot towards the sky: The sky became blue, the sun could be seen again, and nature rapidly regained all of her colors. ---- Canterlot Castle, Equestria, 5:02 ---- A large festival was taking place in the now restored city, to celebrate the victory of six very brave ponies. "We are gathered here today in celebration of a momentous occasion. My most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, has done many extraordinary things since she's lived in Ponyville. She even helped reunite me with my sister, Princess Luna. But today, Twilight Sparkle did something extraordinary. She stopped a lavender black hole. That is why she has been chosen to become a princess! I present to you, Princess Twilight Sparkle!" Twilight showed up next to her, her eyes clearly showing dissapointement. "What is wrong my faithful student? Isn't this what you always wanted?" "It's just that...I thought that Canterlot would have stayed in the lavender hole, and you with it." Twilight stated, her voice full of sadness. "...Um, okay then." Celestia said and the party hit it's fullest. Everypony was happy, and no one noticed a poisoning spell being used in Celestia's drink.

Twilight said. Her super secret lab was kept completely secret from all of Equestria for obvious reasons; Once inside of it, she stopped being Twilight, the bookworm, and became Professor Magic: the genius, prodigious, testing mare. Her experiments varied from tormenting the God Creator of the Universe that she captured and put in a jar, to watering flowers with bird acid (home made of course). Today, the experiment was going to be simple: force feed the letter to one of her test subjects, in the hopes of transporting her in a Paper Mare, or a new word. "Hello 48!" Twilight greeted the mare behind the iron bars, throwing the rests of her lunch next to her. "Today's meal is five peas, and half a carrot. Remember to chew!" The pegasus jumped on the meal, and ate the whole dish in a few seconds. "I'm quite impressed 48, usually it takes you between 8 and 17 seconds to eat your lunch, but this time, it only took you 6 seconds! Let's aim for 1 second, okay?" Twilight patted the head of the weak mare though the bars. "For your information, I also slipped bits of paper touched by Celestia's magic in your dish. You should feel proud." "W-Why master do that?" the mare whispered. "Oh for no reason. Well, it could turn you in a Windigo or an abstract concept, for all I know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see." After a few seconds, 48's eyes began glowing a bright golden, and the laboratory began shaking violently. "Amazing! I don't know what's happening, but it's amazing!" Twilight was yelling, over the powerful wind created by the now floating pegasus. "WHat'S hAPpEninG tO Me! HELp Me!" 48 cried, with a distorted voice. "Incredible! It looks like the magic induced in the letter gave subject 48 the power of ultimate friendship! Maybe if I ate her, I'd gain her powers for myself...I'll have to write this down for another day." Twilight said, scribbling notes on her paper. "48, tell me how you feel." "I'M BURniNG iNsiDE! IT huRtS!" "Well that's nice. Now tell me, do you feel friendship in your heart, or something relative?" The friendship induced subject seems to have gained regenerative properties, but tests to affirm this theory are to be put on hold for now." Twilight wrote the new information on her report. "48, I need you to focus your energy and shoot a burst of magic at Spike. SPIKE, COME HERE!" "Twilight, what's going o-" Spike couldn't finish his sentence as he was hit by a rainbow laser. After the cloud of dust dissipated, he was nowhere to be seen. "Incredible! Such friendship! It destroyed him instantaneously!" Twilight was giggling like a mad mare, "Now, come with me. We're going out for some 'field testing'." Seeing Twilight coming out of her house being followed by a weird looking pegasus, a little voice yelled inside Pinkie's head: 'NEW PONY ALERT!' Rushing to her, Pinkie yelled in the newcomers face, "Hi, my name's Pinkie Pie, you must be new h-" she was cut off by a rainbow hitting her right in the face, leaving only dust behind. "Excellent, 48. This process is called becoming friends with someone. I want you to become friends with everypony in Equestria," she quickly added "...Except me, of course! We're already friends." Rainbow Dash was cut off by Twilight : "You do realize the only reason the 'guards' the Princess sent never came back, is because they were merely stuffed toys, and that the only action they're capable of doing is saying 'I love you' when you press their belly button... right? "..." An awkward silence loomed over the six ponies. Twilight sighed, "I'm going in now, wish me luck." As Twilight walked in the portal, she could feel dark voices talking in her head, telling her the horrible truths of the universe. All this knowledge was too much for her, and so, she fell unconscious. When Twilight finally woke up she found herself in an unknown land. She could see a beautiful scenery : The sky was of a blue she'd never seen before, the trees looked like they were crafted by a Goddess, and mountains could be seen in the distance, with a magical castle placed on top of one of them. 'This place is marvelous!' Twilight thought, amazed 'All the exploring there is to do! This is going to be an adventure which will be written in books. With treasures, and mysterious monuments never seen before. My story will be remembered as the story of a unicorn who...' "Uh...sugarcube?" 'And by the end of it, I'll be a new mare.
