Rainbow dash has been lying to her heroes, her friends, herself. Ever since that tryout for the Equestria Games three months ago. She has been trying her hardest to deny the feelings she has. But it's getting a lot harder. Every time she sees him, her chest clenches and she can hardly breath. It's getting painful that she can't express her love for him. Rainbow knows she can't keep it up forever. Because how can you tell a Wonderbolt you love them? You can't.
Soarin is struggling with his emotions. He knows he's in love but everyone tells him that 'love is a distraction'. That he doesn't need it, that it's not important. Soarin wants to believe them but every time he sees her, those thoughts leave his mind. But he can't keep avoiding his love forever. Then he is given the opportunity to express his feelings. But can he overcome his fear of rejection or will he hide from his feelings forever?
