It has been a few weeks since then. I woke up one morning. I hear music. I look at the clock. It's 4:00 A.M., why the hell do I hear music? I closed my eyes once I got back in bed. I then heard singing. Loud singing. My eyes twitched. I groaned and got up. Is that techno? What the hell? I just shrugged it off and did my morning routine. Get up, get breakfast, get dressed, and get out. I sighed happily when the song died down, but heard a siren. Then, I saw someone give Pinkie a sugarcube, then another, and another. When he stopped, I covered my ears, knowing what will happen next. She busted back into a song and kept teleporting everywhere. I just shook my head, and went into Sugarcube Corner.

"Hey Mr. Cake, I think Pinkie had a sugar rush," I moaned.

"No, she usually does that," I raised an eyebrow.

"Every morning?" I asked.

"Yes, it's fun once you get used to it," He answers simply.

"Alright I guess, I'll have an original donut," I said.

"Glazed or unglazed?" He asked.

"Unglazed," I answered. He looks a little surprised. "What?"

"Sorry, not many ponies order unglazed donuts," he said. I smirked.

"Mr. Cake, I am a man of miracles," I answered.

"Alright, five bits please," I gave him the money and he gave me the donut. "Want milk?" I shook my head.

"I don't have the money for it," I said. He gave me a cup of milk. I smiled. "Thanks Mr. Cake."

"Don't mention it Sam, I did have to repay you for fixing our sink the other day," I smiled even bigger.

"Alright, I'm still going to pay for it later on," I say. He shook his head.

"It's on the house Sam," I thanked him and left. As I was walking, Rainbow hovered beside me, wait, she was walking?

"Hey Sam," she yawned. "How's it going?"

"It's good, just woken up by Pinkie," I said as I yawned as well. Joe ran past us, towards Sweet Apple Acres. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Sorry Sam, no time to talk, I got to go work," he said. I had a puzzled look.

"Work? Work for who?" I asked.

"Applejack!" He yelled since he was at a distance. I yawned, then realized about what I was going to do today.

"Oh yeah, I was going to look for a job today," I said.

"Oh, I know something you could do, but it's for pegasi," said Rainbow Dash. I have an idea.

"I have an idea, why don't we ask Twilight to give me a spell that enables me to do whatever it is you said I could do?" Rainbow Dash thought about it.

"Well, okay, sounds good to me," she says. We knock on Twilight's door, once we got to the castle.

"Yes? Oh, hey Sam, hey Rainbow, what do you need?" I explained the situation. "Well, sorry, it only works for a day."

"Please, atleast let me be able to see if I could get the job or not?" I asked.

"Fine, but if you get the job, I'll have to ask a friend of mine to make a machine for you to be able to do it," she said.

"Thanks Twilight."

"No problem."

Later

I am walking on clouds. This is breaking my logic here.

"Alright, so the weather factory is right around here," said Rainbow Dash. I walk in and I instantly liked this place. Technology, technology everywhere! "Let me introduce you to the boss," she spins. "Hello, oh hey Sam!" She acted to be surprised.

"You're the manager of this place?" I asked.

"Yep, pretty cool right?" She said. I nod.

"Yeah it is!" I said. She leads me to the manager's room.

"Alright, so how do you think you can handle this job? It takes some eggheads to do a lot of work around here," She says.

"Well, back in my world, I was considered a great egghead, not as much as Tom though," I said.

"Hmm, well, let's see if you can do it, consider it a test," we walk into a room with broken machines.

"Without the blueprints, put these machines together, and make them work," I look at her with the most dead-pan look I could muster.

"I don't know how a lot of machines work here Rainbow, at least give me a manual," I said. She does so and I get to work. Once I was done, which took a good twenty minutes, everything was working good.

"Not bad, I think I have a place for you," I have a surprised look.

"What? Already?" I asked.

"Yeah, you seem to know what you're doing, so you can work here, you are now the engineer," she says. I smiled and shook her hoof.

"Twilight doesn't know that you are the manager, does she?" I ask.

"Nope," she answers simply. We laughed. "Alright, first order of business, go help the others sort something out, they keep bugging me about something, and I have too many things to do, like napping," she says. I look at her.

"How exactly did you get the job anyways?" I ask.

"Long story," she says. I walk out, and into the work room. I have a great sense of direction. I walk in, and I noticed something wrong with one machine, it's doing nothing. I walk to it.

"Oh hey, you're one of the new aliens that came to town right?" One pony asks. He has dark fur, with a blue mane and tail. He has a thunder cloud for a cutie mark.

"Alien isn't the right word, but yes, yes I am," i said. He looks at the machine.

"My name's Thunderlane," he says, shaking my hand.

"Name's Sam, I am the recently hired engineer, is the machine working?" I ask.

"Yeah, that machine has been causing a lot of problems since two weeks ago, at first it was nothing, but now it's a problem," I look at the machine.

"Have you checked the inside?" I asked.

"Yeah, we looked in, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary," he answers. I got to the inside of the machine and looked around.

"You're right, nothing seems to be wrong," I said. I looked around and noticed something. A wire was missing. It was actually hard to notice. "I found the problem, a wire's missing, it looks like it was accidentally torn off," I said. I looked at him, he had a wide-eyed face.

"Oh no, thanks for telling us the problem Sam," I nod.

"Just doing my job," I say. I turned around and made sure other equipment was working. Everything seemed fine. I found a map on the wall for any new workers. I found where the engineers office is and I went there. I relaxed on my chair, which was nicely cushioned. A manual was on the desk along with a wrench, electric equipment, and a map, which seems to light up.. I read the manual, which was also a rule book. Every time something goes wrong, a dot will light up on the map to point to me where it is. I relaxed on my chair again. A buzzer went off a few minutes later, a dot lit up at the 'Rainbow Production' room. I hurried over. While hurrying over, everyone smiled and waved at me. I felt welcomed. I walked into the room. There was a huge mechanical instrument. I asked what the problem was.

"Well, we think there's a problem with the machine, it just stopped working," said a mare. I looked at the machine. It was huge. There were pipes full of colors, which amazed me, that were attached to this machine. I looked around the machine.

"What does it run on?" I ask.

"It runs on gasoline," She says. It surprised me, but I didn't question her.

"Where is the tank?" I asked. She led me to it, and we both saw the problem. There was a tear on it, big enough to loose maybe just pints per minute. "Okay, that does not look like an accident," the mare looks at me.

"What do you mean?" I pointed at the tear.

"It's too clean, like something sharp cut it," I saw something near the tank. I looked at it closely. It was a bottle. "Hey, um, miss, what's your name?" I ask.

"It's Cloudchaser, why?"

"Cloudchaser, why is there a bottle here?" I ask, she gasped.

"Um, well, see, there was a uh party here over a great production here. Sadly, it's all I remember," I face-palmed. Thunderlane walked in and I walked over to him.

"Hey dude, funny you should be here, I found something that doesn't look like it's supposed to be here," I showed the alcohol bottle.

"Oh no, please don't tell Rainbow Dash! We only meant to drink just one bottle!" He said. I smirked.

"Don't worry dude, I know I'll get in trouble, but I'll keep it a secret," I said, winking. He gave a sigh of relief.

"Thanks dude, I'll pay you back one day," He said, I waved it off.

"Nah, you don't have to," I said. After that, I fixed all other problems after that. I got a chance to meet a lot of the workers. When I got to my office, a buzzer went off. No dots showed, so it must be lunch time. I sighed. My stomach grumbled. I got out my lunch. which was just a small sandwich. Thunderlane and Cloudchaser walked in my office.

"Hey dude, want to go to lunch with us?" Asked Thunderlane. I looked at my sandwich and then to him.

"I'm good," I say. Thunderlane rolls his eyes.

"In that case, I'm gonna pay you back, come on," He grabs me and we leave the place. We get to Sugarcube Corner. When we walk in, I see my friend Max at the counter.

"Hey Max! I didn't know you work here? I didn't see you this morning," I said.

"Yeah, I was hired somewhere near eight-o-clock," I smiled.

"Let me introduce you to Thunderlane and Cloudchaser, they're my co-workers. Guys, this is Max, he's one of my friends."

"Hello Max," said Thunderlane, he shook Max's hand. Cloudchaser did the same.

"So, what do you guys want?" Max asks. We ordered some food, then sat down to eat.

"So, when does lunch break end?" I ask.

"In thirty minutes, don't worry we have time," said Cloudchaser. While we ate, we had a nice chat. We then went back to work. Rainbow Dash came in my office.

"Hey Rainbow, what's up?" I ask. The cyan pegasus was smiling.

"How do you like your job here?" She asks. I nod.

"It's good, I solved a lot of your problems here," I said. Rainbow Dash beams.

"Cool, well, it's getting pretty late, want to go home?" She asks. I shake my head.

"Problems can happen over night, so I'll stay until everyone leaves," I said.

"Alright, see you tomorrow," she said, with that, she leaves in a flash. I lay back. After a while, I pack my stuff up and head home. Wait, how will I get down? Luckily, Thunderlane tapped my shoulder.

"Need a ride?" He asks. I nod. We head down, and I say goodbye till tomorrow.

It has been a few weeks when I woke up again, at 4:00, I am getting tired of this, but I live on! I do the same routine. When I opened the door, Rainbow Dash had her hoof in the air, about to knock on my door.

"Hey RD, what's up?" I ask, she doesn't move. I knock on her head. "Hello? Any pony home?" I ask. She shakes her head.

"Huh? Oh yeah, um, I'm home," I feel a sense of irony, but where? I shrugged it off.

"Oh, good, want to go get breakfast?" I ask, she nods. "So, what do you want?" I ask. She shrugs.

"Something good I guess," She looks away. I look at her weirdly.

"You okay? You're acting differently," I said. Normally she would be bragging about her awesomeness by now.

"Huh? Oh um, yeah yeah I'm fine, just thinking," I shrug. We walk towards Sugarcube, silently. When we get there, Mr. Cake looked at us and smiled.

"Hello Sam, and Rainbow Dash, what would you like?" He asks smiling. I ordered the triple chocolate doughnut. I feel like I need the sugar today. I look at Raunbow.

"Hey Rainbow, what're you getting?" I ask. Rainbow snaps back into reality.

"Huh?" She looks at me. "Um, whatever he said," she answered. I raised an eyebrow.

"I have a code red, RD is not bragging or being prideful!" Rainbow chuckled.

"I can be unprideful," she says.

"There's the RD I know and love," I say jokingly. She blushes.

"Sam, are you and Rainbow together?" Rainbow and I blushed.

"N-no, we're n-not!" I almost yell. Mr. Cake laughs.

"I was just kidding Sam!" He says. I still have a blush. I find out that I'm going to be late. thus we get our stuff and get to the work place as fast as possible, which took seconds. I got in my office immediately. Rainbow went off to do whatever. It turns out, I had to file every bad thing that happened, so I did so, which took two or three hours. I was interrupted of my nap when a buzzer went off in the lounge. I hurried over and turns out, the vending machine's buttons were all mix matched. It took me seemingly hours, but I finish and head back to my office. I filed it, which took no time at all since I immediately found the filer. After my nap I heard a knock a on the door.

"Come in!" Rainbow Dash came in, while looking down. "Hey Rainbow Dash, what brings you here?" I ask. She's biting her lower lip. I have a bad feeling. "Am I being fired?" I asked. She shakes her head.

"No, I just wanted to tell you something," she says. I look at her. She then smiles. "I have a good video to watch," she says giggling. I look at her with a raised eyebrow.

"How was that hard to say?" I ask. Rainbow smiles.

"I was kind of afraid what you would think of your co-workers. Just watch," She puts in the tape in my TV. What I saw made me laugh. Cloudchaser and Thunderlane were kissing in it. After it was over, RD said bye and went off.

Meanwhile

Rainbow Dash had left and is in the hallway hitting her head.

"Come on Rainbow, just three words, three words," Thunderlane walks by.

"Hey Boss, what's happening?" He looks at her confused.

"You know Sam right?" He nods. "Well, I kind of have a crush on him."

"Woah. There you were two to three weeks ago, saying you'd never get a coltfriend," he says laughing.

"Dude, I had a back-up plan when I tried to tell him," she smiled victoriously. His smiled faded.

"No."

"Yep." She trots off. She gets to her office. Strangely enough, it's a place where she can think clearly. She wants to tell her feelings to Sam, but she can't just spit it out. She puts a hoof to her mouth. "What should I do, I want him to know, but what if he takes it the wrong way, or maybe, what if he doesn't have the same feeling for me?" She groaned. She shook her head. "No, he's a nice guy, maybe he'll let it on me easily, then again, his friends said that sometimes he freaks out," She covered her head, straining to think what to do. "I know! I can ask one of his friends for help!" She thought about it. So far, Jacob has been the closest one to Sam. They seem like best friends.

A few days later

"Hey Jacob!" She said. Jacob looked up from his book and smiled. He was at Fluttershy's cottage, helping with the animals.

"Hey Rainbow, what's up?" He says.

"Well, there's um, someone I like, and you know him best. So, I thought maybe I could get advice from you," she smiled as big as she can.

"Really? Well, who is it?" Rainbow twirls her hoof in the dirt.

"Sam," she says blushing. Jacob smiled.

"Good, the guy needs a girl, well, mare in this case," Rainbow gave a questioned look.

"Why?" Jacob kept grinning.

"Well, Sam has never been on a date before, and never had a girlfriend," Rainbow was shocked.

"Sam? The guy that I usually hang out with, the guy who I think is pretty cool? The guy who managed to make me feel good?" Jacob nods.

"He's not really one guy that can make someone swoon over him," He says.

"Well, can you tell me what I can do to tell him how I feel?" Jacob nods.

"He's a nice guy, that and he has been talking about you in a good way," he says. Rainbow blushes.

"Really?" He nods again. "Cool! Oh, and, can you not tell him? I want to tell him myself," she says.

" Sure, and if he does say no, he'll let you down easy," he says. Dash nods and flies off.

"Alright, think, when should I tell him though?" She thought. "Maybe I'll tell him at the next Wonderbolts show, yeah that's it!" She decided.

Meanwhile

I was working in my office when Thunderlane came in. I tried to hide my face with the news paper at my desk.

"Sam, I know that you know about me and Cloudchaser, okay?" I put down the paper, and had a huge grin. "Dude, it's not funny," he says with a snort.

"What's funny is that you didn't even know cameras were around," I said still smiling. He rolled his eyes.

"Wait, now that I think about it, do you have a special somepony?" I shook my head.

"No, never really thought about having one," I said. Thunderlane laughed. He saw that I was serious and stopped.

"R-really? You don't have anyone special?" I shook my head.

"No, because no one loves me, that simple," I said. He shook his head. He then had an idea, a great idea.

"We need to change that, I do think you should be with someone," he says grinning.

"Oh yeah? Who?" I ask he keeps smiling.

"Rainbow Dash," He says simply. My eyes went wide and I blushed.

"What? What makes you think she'll like someone like me?" I ask.

"Well, I have a hunch," He lied.

"Well, just tell me why," he smiled bigger.

"What's her favorite food?"

"Hayburgers."

"What color are her eyes?"

"Magenta."

"What's her favorite color?"

"Red."

"Her favorite kind of music?"

"Rock and roll."

"Favorite holiday?"

"Heart's Warming Eve, which I still think is Christmas."

"Do you really think you don't love her?" I thought about it.

"Well, yeah I do, but she doesn't love me though."

"Dude, just, trust me, my hunches are usually right," I sigh.

"Maybe this time it's wrong, but I'll try."

"Good human," I slightly growl.

"Don't say that," He backs off, while chuckling.

"If it makes you feel any better, I can be your wing-pony," I thought about it and nod.

"Alright, well good luck!" He trots off. He's right, I do love Rainbow. Speaking of the devil, Rainbow trots in.

"Hey dude, how're you?" She asks. I smile.

"I feel good, you?" She smiles.

"I feel great! I found out when the next Wonderbolts show is, and I wondered if you could join me?" She asks hopefully. I nod.

"Sounds fun!" I say.

"Cool! Well, see you!" I saw that we were the only ones here. I chuckled nervously.

"Hey, uh, can you give me a ride home?" I ask. She nods. We get to my house after a short flight. I got off her, thanked her then did the first thing in my mind. " Hey Dash?" Would you like to have dinner with me?" I ask. I was also blushing slightly. She nods. I sat her at the table and started cooking dinner. "I'm not the best, but I hope you like it," I served hayburgers. It was the first thing on my mind to cook. I got a couple glasses and filled them with some soda. I didn't have anything else to drink besides water. I gave one glass to Rainbow and one glass to me. When Rainbow took a bite, she smiled.

"It's good!" I smiled and served myself a cheeseburger. I had learned that she doesn't mind me eating meat, so I do it sometimes. The griffons that sell it were nice too. I broke my chain of thought so I could focus on what was happening. "So, Sam, what kind of jobs did you take before getting this one?" I shrugged.

"Well, a cook, nurse, and the last, and shortest, an engineer, I did learn good stuff about it though," I said, she nodded. The silence had turned into an awkward silence. When Dash was finished, she thanked me and head out. "Bye! Goodnight!" I said. She waved bye and went home. I went into the kitchen, cleaned up, and went to bed. I mentally slapped myself. "Come on Sam, that was terrible, now she think you're boring, try to be more interesting!" I yelled mentally. I soon yelled myself to sleep, which took some time.

Chapter 7: Admittance

Alright, this is the big night. Rainbow Dash picked me up during the afternoon, for the Wonderbolt's show in Canterlot. I smiled when I saw her, I walked to the train with her as fast as possible. Oddly, I'm a fast walker, but not a fast runner. I don't know how it works, but I don't care. I sit beside her during the train ride there. Thunderlane was with us and so was Jacob. Thunderlane and Jacob had a very good conversation apparently, they both laughed time to time and pointed at us.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Rainbow asks, noticing this as well.

"I dunno, unlike them, I'm sensible, and sane," Rainbow giggled. I smirked. "Do my ears deceive me? I heard giggling from you? Again?" I ask.

"Oh shut up, I bet you cry over teddy bears," I snickered.

"While you cry over food," She rolled her eyes.

"Okay wise guy, maybe I should beat ya," I scoffed.

"So, you think you can go up against me?" I ask. Rainbow smirks.

"Yeah I do!" We smiled. When we reach our destination, I get out with her and walk to the first restaurant we see. I order mac and cheese while Rainbow ordered a hayburger.

"You're not good with diets you know that?" I ask. She smirks

"You're better?" I nod

"The other day I think I saw your belly jiggle," I said. She snickered.

"Yeah? While your shirt barely fits around your stomach," she says. We laughed. She showed me a lot of the sights in Canterlot. We get to the line, which thankfully for us, was short since we came really early. We were fifth in line. Once a few hours passed to me, we were let in. We went to the best seat we could find. "This is going to be so awesome!" Rainbow yelled, hovering in the air. I sat her down.

"Calm down Rainbow, I know these guys are the best fliers, but chill out!" I said. She smiled very widely. Luna gotten to the speaker when every seat was filled.

"HELLO CITIZENS OF EQUESTRIA!!!" She yelled into the mic. "I AM PROUD TO PRESENT THE RACE OF THESE WONDERBOLTS!!! FIRST RUNNER UP, SPITFIRE!!!" A yellow pegasus with orange and yellow mane got to the line. "SOARIN!!!" A white pegasus with dark blue mane steps up as well. "AND FINALLY!!! FLEETFOOT!!!" A cyan pegasus with a white mane stepped up. Luna looked at the mic, then shrugged and knocked it over, while shouting," LET THE RACE BEGIN!!!" The fliers took off. Spitfire's in first while Fleetfoot was in second and not too far behind, Soarin, speeding fast. Soarin past Fleetfoot. He's gaining Spitfire, he is neck and neck. Rainbow Dash is holding my arm tightly while watching. It's starting to hurt, but I didn't mind. Soarin then passed Spitfire, but she didn't take it nicely and sped even faster. Soarin was straining to catch up, but to no avail. Spitfire was too fast and she won the gold in the end. I was cheering at the top of my lungs. So was Rainbow Dash. Now that the race is over, there is a small break before the Wonderbolts perform tricks and fireworks show. I chilled with Thunderlane as he is encouraging me as best as he can so that I can tell Rainbow how I felt, while Jacob's encouraging Rainbow to tell me how she feels. When it was time, I took a deep breath, and sat beside Rainbow Dash. It was very dark, yet I can still see RD. The stadium lit up and the Wonderbolts started doing tricks and flips galore. I kept watching and slowly put my arm around Rainbow. I didn't know what to do, so thus that's first part of operations. I looked over and RD saw it and I retracted iimmediately, afraid I set off an alarm.

"It's um, pretty cool right?" I ask. I can feel Thunderlane facehoofing right now.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool," she says. I then, slower this time, try to put my arm around her, but I think twice and retract. My heart's pounding. I feel like I'm gonna die. I then finally put my arm around her, and I thought I saw her smile when I did it. Nah, she problably didn't notice. The fireworks started off now. It was looking amazing so far. I looked at Rainbow and thought to myself, you know what, fuck it, I instantly pulled Rainbow Dash in for a kiss. At first, she had a shocked face, but then she kissed back, as soon as that happened, the big firework went off. I thought it was nice timing. I pulled away to breathe.

"Rainbow, I don't know how you feel about me, but I love you," I said. Rainbow Dash had a big smile on her face.

"I love you too dude," she kissed me and I think I felt my heart melt. She said it. She said she loved me. I felt overjoyed. While going back to Ponyville, RD slept on my arm on the way. I knew I'd be killed if I said she was cute, but she really was. I put an arm over her. When we stopped, I took her to her home and I went to mine. Tonight was awesome.

The next morning

I woke up, and I was still tired. I stretched. I get up and hear a knocking at the door. I put on some clothes, and went to see who it is.

"Hey Sam, ready to go?" Asks the loved cyan pegasus.

"I just got out of bed, let me atleast see straight first," I answer.

"Sam, it's 5:45, you have fifteen minutes to get breakfast then get to work. When you didn't show at five, i thought you were just a little slow. Now it's 5:40, and then I thought you were exercising. I got over here as fast as I can," I look at the clock.

"Oh crap, I got to go!" I yelled and ran, Rainbow flied with me.

"Dude, calm down, you have to be there at 6:15," I stopped.

"Oh, sorry, wanna go get breakfast?" She shook her head.

"Already ate, but pick up something for me while you're there," I nod.

"Will do for my mare," I smiled and bowed. I knew she didn't like it but pushing her buttons seem fun to me sometimes.

"Don't do that Sam, you're embarrassing me," she says. blushing.

"I know, you're cute when you blush," she smiles, giggling. "You giggled, who're you and what'd you do with the Rainbow I know?" I asked. Rainbow smirked.

"I'm your boss, now bow!" says the cyan pegasus, I shook my head chuckling. She jumps on my back. "Alright then, mush!" I rolled my eyes and went to get breakfast and got her something for lunch. We went to work and today, I didn't have much to do. Only a couple of calls about the machine for making clouds, at first it wouldn't make clouds. Then, it wouldn't make them right. They would be in shapes, perfect shapes. I fixed each problem, and head back to my office. A lot of my co-workers gave me a funny look. Thunderlane came to my office.

"So, how's our Sam?" He asks, propping his arms so that he was holding his head.

"Good."

"Any problems?"

"Nope."

"Really?"

"Yep."

"Good, so I told everyone I knew in this place about you and Rainbow. Nothing big right?" He asks, smiling.

"Well, I'm not sure if Rainbow wants everyone to know," I said. He just smiles even bigger.

"It's not funny when you're attacked is it?" He asks smiling. He's enjoying every second of this. I roll my eyes.

"Fine, I'm sorry that I told some people about you and Cloudchaser," I say. He pats me on the back.

"That's a good human!" We laugh. When It was dark, I got up and started leaving. I noticed that nopony was here, so now I can't get down. I looked around outside to see if there was a pegasus near by. Thankfully, there was. A yellow pegasus with bat wings, some headphones, and red eyes. He also had different shades of brown hair on his mane and tail.

"Hey excuse me!" I say to him. He looks up.

"Oh hey, you must be one of the humans in town right?" He asks I nod.

"My name's Sam."

"Mine's Bonebeat," He says.

"Hey, can you get me down from here?" I said. He nods and flies up to me, picks me up, and gets me down. "Thank you, I forgot to ask the last pony to get me down from there."

"It's no problem, I like helping peeps," he said. I wave to him goodbye and went home.

Chapter 8: Checking up

Today was terrible. I had an accident while I was checking the machine in the 'Rainbow Production' room. There was something stuck in the gears. I had turned off the machine before trying to get it. Some idiot saw it was off and decided to turn it back on. When that happened, I was screaming. I was fine later, thank God for magic. I was put in the hospital though, my arm was badly damaged. The magic was needed to heal my arm, but I had to be with the doctors for it, since only they know the spell. The only thing I liked about being in the hospital was that my friends visited me. Rainbow would come by with flowers. Sometimes even with a balloon. Bonebeat came by as well. He said that he heard about what happened and decided to check up on me. I felt good, mostly. I had been in the hospital for atleast a week, and my arm is close to recovery. Rainbow hadn't come by though. Jacob visited me on Friday.

"Hey Sam, how're you?" He asks.

"I'm good Jacob, hey is Rainbow around?" I ask. He nods. He then had a concerned look.

"Yeah, but she was in tears."

"Why? Did anything happen to her?" I ask. He shook his head.

"Ever since she was told about how badly damaged the broken arm, she didn't really talk too much," he said. I started thinking.

"Hey, can you do me a favor?" I ask.

Later

I watch a footage as Rainbow trotted in the rainbow room. I watched as she had pulled a trigger, and then jumped and ran. She activated the machine. That explains a lot. "Thanks Jacob, can you tell her to get here please? I want to tell her something," I said. He nodded. When it was dark, a cyan pegasus walked in. I smiled. "Hey Rainbow, I missed you," I said. She stood silently, looking down. "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask. She shook her head. "Come here Rainbow, I want to tell you something," I said. She walks over. I lean in and hugged her. She had a shocked look. I smiled. "Don't worry, I know what happened, and I forgive you," I said. She shook her head. She hugged me back, crying onto my shoulder.

"No! It's my fault! I-I d-didn't know you were fix-xing it a-and I-" I cut her off by kissing her. She then started crying into my shoulder.

"Shhh, it's okay, it's okay. There there," I said, calmly, and hopefully soothingly. I brushed her mane. I felt terrible while she cried. When she started to stop, I looked at her smiling big. "I didn't know you could cry," I said jokingly. She punched my good arm playfully. She nuzzled my shoulder. I kept brushing her mane, as we sat silently. I started to sleep. I woke up a few hours later, Rainbow sat in a chair, snoring. I mean it, snoring! I chuckled silently at the cute sight none the less. I smiled, and rested my head down on the soft pillow. After a good night's sleep, Rainbow left. I got a gift from Rarity though. It was a dark red fedora! I put it on. I looked in the mirror. I actually pulled it off. The door opened and I was greeted by a pink hopping pony.

"Hey Sammy! I just dropped bye to give you a get well gift!" She said.

"Pinkie, I'll be better by tomorrow," I said.

"I know, but you never got a gift from me!" She said. It was true, I got a gift from Jacob, Max, Rainbow, Tom, Rarity, Fluttershy, etc. I sighed.

"Fine, but you didn't have to," I said smiling. She put a mini chocolate version of Rainbow on my desk. My eyes went wide. "That is cool!" I said. Pinkie beamed.

"That's good, I've been working on it for twenty minutes!" I gave a puzzled look.

"Wait, twenty? But, i-it's so spot on!" I said. She smiled.

"I know, I should've done it quicker," she said. I looked at her amazed.

"No, I'm amazed! It would've taken me days to do this! Thank you so much!" I said. She smiled from ear to ear, literally.

"Great! Hope you get our well!" She said as she left. My eyes twitched. How the hell does Pinkie do stuff like this? This should be impossible! I sighed. Fuck it, it's Pinkie, she's a mare of miracles and unsolved questions, for all I know, she could know the meaning of life. Well, maybe not life but teleportation. I get the chocolate and bit into it. It was rich. I loved it! I sat in the hospital bed as the docs healed my arm. It was finally all better, but they kept me in in case there was something else wrong.

The next day

I walked out of the building feeling good. I was greeted by Rainbow. She tackled me to the ground hugging me. I smiled and hugged back.

"Hey Sam, oops sorry," she got off me and helped me up. She pecked me on the cheek. I felt better already. We walked back to my house. I sat on my couch, and relaxed. Rainbow sat beside me. I smiled in thought. Rainbow then sat closer to me. Then closer, and closer. I did notice this, but I kept still. She started leaning on me, but drew back. She started leaning again. I rolled my eyes and grabbed her in for a hug. She smiled. I got my remote for the TV and turned it on. We watched a show, I didn't know what it was, but it was good. "So, Sam, what do have in mind to do today?" She asks. I sighed.

"Nothing really, I'm just going to relax today," I said. She sighs in comfort as she snuggled up. "Rainbow, you look adorable," I said. She blushes.

"No I don't," I started chuckling. "Hey, um, again, sorry for..." She trailed off. I rolled my eyes again.

"You don't have to apologize, I faced worse," I said. She looks sad. Being-the-nice-guy-powers activate! I pulled her in for another kiss. We preceded to cuddle. Unknown to us, we were being watched.

"Heh, see? He's a nice guy Twilight," said Tom. She sighed.

"I still think he's bad news," Tom shook his head.

"You know your friends can handle situations if their coltfriend was bad news right?" He asks. Twilight shook her head.

"They've never been in a relationship before, I'm still worried about them. Especially Rainbow since Sam and she got together," Twilight said worriedly. Tom sighed.

"I've known Sam since college, even though we don't see eye to eye, we're friends, like Rarity and Applejack," he said. Twilight sighed.

"Fine, but if he breaks her heart, I will not be easy with the others, or you," Twilight said as they teleported away. I heard something and just missed them teleporting. I shrugged it off and returned to cuddle with my favorite pony. We watched a few movies, while eating popcorn. She drank cider, unlike her, I'm not an alcohol person. I drank a simple soda. As we watched a horror movie, I was tensed up. I jumped and fell into Rainbow's arms. I know that this is supposed to be the other way around, but I get scared.

"Sometimes I hate horror movies," I said. Rainbow laughs.

"You can play a scary game, but can't watch a horror movie?" She asks. I simply nod.

"Don't judge me," I said, pouting.

"Too late," Rainbow said smirking.

"Don't think I can'r get back at you," I said. I had a secret weapon. Being-a-jack-ass-powers activate! I saw that my soda was empty, and I took the chance.

"Let me put this up," I said. I grabbed the can and went to the kitchen and got a blowhorn. I jumped out, and blew the horn. Rainbow jumped and bucked me in the face. I went into darkness. I woke up to hearing a muffled voice.

"Sam, Sam are you okay?" I heard. I finally saw a blurry cyan oval. I came into focus and saw Rainbow Dash. "Sam are you okay!?" She yelled. I covered my ears.

"Yeah!" I said. Rainbow gave a sigh of relief. I sat up and my head hurt. I smiled at Rainbow, but then frowned. She was crying.

"Oh my Celestia I am so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, but yo-you just jumped out a-a-and," she started bursting into tears. I hugged her and she cried even more into me. I sighed.

"I think I am the worst person," I said. Rainbow Dash looked at me confused. "So far, I've made you cry this week," I said, weakly smiling. She shook her head. "But on the other hand, I did get back at you, and then you got back at me, so we're even," I said. She thought about it for a moment. She started laughing a little.

"That is some bad logic Sam," I laughed. I hugged her comfortingly. She nuzzled into my chest. I felt happy now. She then fell asleep on my chest. I knew she was a hard sleeper, so I picked her up and put her on my bed. I walked to the living room and slept on the couch. Today, was a rough day.

Chapter 9: To outdo

I woke up next morning. I heard snoring. She's still here. I smiled. I stretched and got out of bed. I sniffed myself to see how bad I stink. I'm not sure if Rainbow would mind or not, but it wouldn't hurt to smell nice. I looked at the time. It was midnight. I think I could get away with taking a shower. Out of caution, I closed the door to the bathroom and took a shower. I turned it on hot. Out of stupidity, I took a step in. and yelped while jumping out. I forgot it needed to warm up.

"Sam? Are you okay?" I heard.

"Sorry, just taking a shower, don't mind me!" I yelled. I waited a few minutes before getting in again. It was nice. Steam was filling the room. I sighed in relief. It felt good. I quickly took got it done and put my clothes back on. I noticed the shirt was really wet. It rubbed me the wrong way. I took it off and got out.

"Morning Sam," I heard. She's in the living room. I walk in smiling.

"Morning to you too," I say. She looks at me and her eyes are pin pricks. Her wings slowly go up. I looked at her strangely. "What's wrong?" I ask.

"O-oh, um, nothing.," She says, stuttering. I followed her gaze. She's looking at my chest.

"Is something wrong with my chest?" I ask.

"N-no, it's... cool," she says. I smirk.

"My chest isn't something cool, if you look at Joe's chest, he has a six-pack," I said. She chuckled nervously.

"Heheh, yeah..." I felt bad.

"Am I disappointing?" I ask. She shook her head. "Want to touch?" I ask. She blushes and nods. She trots over, and puts a hoof on my chest.

"Wow," she hit my stomach, I flinched, but stood my ground. "You're sturdy, that punch usually makes you say ow," she said.

"Have you noticed that I didn't say ow the last time you punched me?" I ask. She shook her head. "Yeah, sometimes I go to the gym."

"I noticed!" She says surprised. I smiled.

"Thanks!" She smiled looking at me. I smiled back.

"You know, it's one in the morning, maybe we could cuddle?" She asks. I chuckled and nod. I get on the couch and cuddled with her. She felt warm against my bare skin. I enjoyed the cuddling. We fell asleep but woke up at four. I stretched. Rainbow was still asleep. I smiled at the sight of my marefriend sleeping cutely. I kissed her head gently, waking her up. She moaned. "I don't wanna get up," I rolled my eyes.

"We have work today," I said. She nuzzled into me. I sighed. I pat her head. "If I don't go to work, the factory may disassemble," Rainbow yawned.

"Fine, but in a few minutes, you're a nice bed," I smiled.

"You're a nice blanket," She smiled. We got up thirty minutes later. Rainbow trotted out sleepily. I had a working shirt and jeans on. When we got outside, we went to Sugercube.

"Hey Sam, back from the hospital?" Max asks. I nod.

"Got out yesterday," I said. When I got to the counter, Pinkie was upfront and gave me an unglazed original doughnut, while giving Rainbow a chocolate doughnut. We thanked her, and I paid for it. Me and Rainbow ate our doughnuts and got to work. I sighed when I sat down. Thunderlane got to my office.

"Hey Sam, how're you since you got out?" He asks.

"Good, Rainbow had a good time too," I said.

"So, you and Rainbow got together?" He asked, smiling.

"What?" He kept smiling.

"You know, did you and her click?" I nodded. He had a shocked look. "You had sex with her?!" My eyes went wide and into pinpricks.

"No no, I meant we spent the night together, but we didn't have sex!" I said. He had a disappointed look.

"Oh, that would've been cool though," I had a confused look.

"How the hell could it be cool?" I ask. He had a puzzled look.

"So you don't want to f-" I cut him off.

"I don't know!" I said. He backed up.

"Jeez dude, sorry," he said. I face-palmed.

"You know, sometimes you have a nasty mind," he snickers.

"I know I do," he smiled.

"So, what did you come here for?" I ask.

"Well, since you were gone, we had a few problems come up," he says. He points to where all the problems are. I nod understanding everything and hurried with him. I get to the cloud room. The water was sitting still. That's not a good sign. "The thing just started to slow down everyday, and today it stopped completely," I nod. I look around to see any problems. I looked at the circuitry. I saw the one plug had been unplugged.

"You didn't check the plugs, did you?" I ask. He nervously laughs. I plugged it in and it worked fine. We then went into the lightning room. I did not like this room. This room could have millions of problems happen in one second. I wasn't too surprised though. Turns out, the lightning machine just stopped one day. I looked at the circuitry. It wasn't plugged in. I looked at Thunderlane not amused. "The next machine that has a problem that turns out isn't plugged in, you owe me five bits," I said. He looks down in shame. The next room was the computer room. I looked at the plugs first. "Thunder, you owe me five bits," I said smiling. I plugged the huge computer in, and it worked like a charm. Thunderlane gives me five bits. I was chuckling when I get into my office. What I didn't expect was that a stallion was in my chair. I tapped him on the shoulder. He turns and almost yelps. "You're in my seat," I said dead-panned. He breathed and looks at me.

"Sorry, but this seat is Sam's, he's apparently not around yet, so I'm waiting for him," he says and kicks back.

"Alright, in that case, get out of my seat," I said. He looks at me.

"This is Sam's seat, not yours, now scram off mr..." I rolled my eyes.

"My name's Sam," I said. Realization hit him.

"Oh, sorry, I thought you would be a pony," he said. I nod.

"It's okay," I said. He smiled and let me have my chair. I sat down. I realized who he was. "Hoy crap you're Soarin!" I said. He chuckles.

"Yeah, so you're the one dating Rainbow Dash?" He asks.

"Yeah? Why?" I ask.

"Well, there were reasons," he says. I had a puzzled look.

"In that case, you're gonna have to stick by me most of the day," I said. I filed in the problems so far as Soarin starts talking again.

"Well, me and Rainbow had it too, so just telling you," he said shrugging. I paused. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"So, you're her ex?" I ask. He nods.

"Oh, and Sam, I'm going to get my Rainbow back," he says. I roll my eyes. I decided the best thing to do right now, is be a smart-ass.

"Rainbows are in the rainbow production room," I say smoothly. He glares.

"So, you're a wise guy huh?" I smile and nod. "Well let me tell you something kid, you are not worthy for Rainbow," he says. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you think I care about what you say?" I ask. He glares.

"You better not ignore me," he said. I picked up my phone.

"Yeah, I'm going to need security," I said. I wasn't talking to anyone, but I was wondering if he'd fall for it. He did.

"Now let's not be hasty," he said. I shrugged and down the phone down while smiling. "You weren't calling anyone were you?" He asks. I shook my head, and grinned.

"I think we can agree on something though, we both care for Rainbow," I said.

"Except, I'm getting her back," he said. A knock was heard on the door.

"Come in!" I said. Cloudchaser came in.

"Hey Sam, there's a problem with the rainbow machine again," she said. She looked up to see Soarin and squealed. "OH MY CELESTIA IT'S SOARIN!!!" She screamed. We both covered our ears.

"Alright, um Cloudchaser could you go get Rainbow?" I ask she nods and waves as she left.

"See Sam, I'm more famous," Soarin said. I sighed.

"I do not give a damn Soarin and neither does Rainbow," I said. As if on cue, Rainbow entered my office smiling.

"Hey Soarin, nice to see you again," she hugs him, I smiled.

"You got friend-zoned," I mouthed. He glares at me.

"Hey Rainbow, once you are done, want to go get a bite to eat?" He asks. That was it. It's one thing to me to just say he'll take her away, but to do it? Oh hell no!

"Hey Rainbow, can I join you two?" I said, trying not to grit my teeth.

"Sure Sam. So where do you want to eat Soarin?" He looked up in thought.

"How about that burger place down town?" He asks. She nods.

"Sound good Sam?" She asks. I nod. I don't know what I got into, but I am not going to like it.

Later

I get to this fancy restaurant, and I don't like it. I walk in. Guess I'm the first one here.

"Hello, are you Sam?" Well shit. They got here before me. I nod. She leads me to the table they were at. I saw Rainbow wave me over. I went over and sat down next to her.

"Hey guys, what did I miss?" I ask. I tried my best not to glare at Soarin. I smiled and looked at the menu. I did like what was on the menu. Everything was on stuff I couldn't eat. Everything was fine hay. Rainbow looked at me.

"Hey Sam, what're you going to get?" I smiled,

"Um, I'm not hungry," I say smiling. In truth, I am starving. Rainbow gave me a questioned look, but I stood my ground. I smiled and she shrugged it off. Soarin smiled and ordered. I just listened in on their conversation as they talk. They had a long conversation. I felt lef t out. I kept smiling and nodding. They ate, and once they were done, we left.

"Hey Sam, I haven't heard you all night, something wrong?" Rainbow asks. I shook my head.

"I'm fine, I'll go ahead and go home," I said I started walking to my house. Soarin scoffed. Rainbow and him kept walking together, as I walk back to my home. Maybe I don't deserve Rainbow Dash. Soarin seems to get along with Rainbow perfectly. I sighed once I was inside my comfy home. I finally got something to eat. I started to sleep in bed when I heard knocking on the door. I sighed and got out of bed. I opened the door and I was surprised to see Rainbow Dash.

"Hey Dash, what's up?" I ask. She smiled.

"Well I saw that you didn't really have a good time tonight and I want to make it up to you," she says. I smiled.

"Nah, you don't have to," I say. She sighs.

"Okay, oh and if you think I'll leave you for Soarin, you're dead wrong," she says chuckling. I raised an eyebrow.

"Why? I'm not like Soarin, I'm not famous or interesting," I said. She shakes her head.

"Sam, I'm like an idol to the Wonderbolts, even to Soarin, he was only going to use me for popularity. That, and I overheard you two talking," I chuckled. She smiled and hovered up to kiss me. I broke the kiss to think about something.

"What happened to Soarin?" I asked. She giggled.

"He's in his place, he tried to kiss me when you left," I smiled.

"Trashcan with a shiner?" I asked. She nodded. We both laughed and she kissed me goodnight before going to her house for the night.

Chapter 10: A night indeed.

I woke up early in the morning. I smiled, feeling a warm thing on my chest. My heart skipped a beat. What is on my chest? I cracked an eye open to see Rainbow passed out on my chest. I freaked. Why is Rainbow on my chest? I don't remember. Oh crap, I don't remember anything! I looked around. I'm in a cloud house. I stealthily got Rainbow off my chest and looked around the house. I felt cold. I look down to see that I had almost no clothes at all! I only had on underwear! I panicked. What the hell happened last night? I went to Rainbow and woke her up.

"Ugh, my head," she says. She looks up to see me panicked and only in underwear. "Sam... why are you naked? Wait, what happened?" She asks, starting to panic as well.

"That's the thing, I don't know!" I said.

"Alright, keep it together, it's not like anything bad happened right?" She asks. I nod and I sat down on the bed. I found my clothes soon and put them on. I started chilling out when I sat down again. I then got a memory. We had gotten to her house after we did something. Oh man, why can't I remember more? I explained what I remembered to Rainbow. Rainbow remembered the same thing as well. We got to the ground shortly after and decided to ask Pinkie what happened. I suggested it since she usually knows everything! When we got to Sugarcube, our mouths hung open. Sugarcube Corner looked wrecked. Pinkie saw us and growled.

"No, not you! We've had enough of your flipping tables!" She yelled. We were shocked.

"Pinkie please, we don't know what happened last night!" I said. She huffed.

"Well, you two came in and started yelling 'flip the tables!' After that, you left running!" Rainbow gasped. She looked at me panicked. Her face went pale.

"Um Sam, you have a um, scratch," she says shakingly. Pinkie looks at me and her eyes went pinprick.

"That looks more like a scar to me!" She pointed. I felt around my face. I felt something from beside my ear to my jaw. I almost screamed. I looked at Rainbow. I remember something. There were bright lights, and laughing. I heard techno music. I saw Rainbow saying something, but I couldn't make it out. I then saw some familiar faces. I saw the guys.

"Pinkie, where's Max?" I ask.

"He's at his house. He didn't want to go with you guys for that party you guys went to," Pinkie says. I blinked. We went to a party? I grab Rainbow and said bye to Pinkie and headed for Jacob's place. We got to his house, which was a nice looking wooden house next to Fluttershy's cottage. I knocked on the door.

"Jacob! Open up it's Sam!" I yell. He opened the door and had bags under his eyes.

"Hey Sam, what's going on?"

"Jacob, did we go to a party last night?" I ask. He looks at me surprised.

"So it wasn't a dream. Yeah, we went to a party, I don't exactly remember what happened though. When I woke up, I was in bed and Fluttershy was sleeping on the couch," I told him what I could remember. Fluttershy came up rubbing her eyes.

"Huh? What's going on?" We explained what happened. "I think I remember something. Sam and Rainbow went off and Jacob and I sat together."

"Alright, thanks for the info," I said while me and Rainbow went off to find other clues to see what happened. We went to Twilight's house, remembering that Tom had to live with Twilight. I knock on the door. Tom opens it and sighs.

"Well shit, you don't remember stuff do you?" He asks. We nod. "Well, all I remember was that we went to some party, and Twilight and I had slept in once we drank something," he says dead-panned. I started remembering again. Me and Rainbow just got some light alcohol, and something was put into it. Me, Joe, Henry, Rainbow, Rarity, and Applejack went to Sweet Apple Acres after wrecking Pinkie's place.

"Thanks Tom, and have a good day," I said as I went to the orchard with Rainbow. We knocked on the front porch door. Applejack opened it and she looks panicked.

"Sam, what in Tartarus happened last night?" She asked shaking me. We explained what we know so far. "Well, I remember that we played some game. Once it was over you, Rainbow, Henry, and Rarity went off somewhere," I asked where Joe was. "About that, we woke up in the same bed!" That explains why she's panicked. We thanked her and left. We ran over to Rarity's boutique. I knocked on the door.

"Rarity! Are you home?" I ask. She opens the door. Her mane's frazzled. That's the only thing I can notice.

"Morning Sam, morning Rainbow, whatever is the fuss?" She asks yawning. We asked her if she knew what happened last night. "Of coarse I did, me and Henry never drank any alcohol!" That explains why I don't remember crap. She explained that we drank at a party for an occasion. She couldn't remember what it was, but she and Henry had kept an eye on us until we got to our homes. I smiled. She told me that me and Rainbow were playing with her equipment, explaining why I have a scar. We had left and gone to Rainbow's house. I still couldn't remember what happened after that. We thanked her and we went to my house. I sighed. Rainbow tapped on my shoulder.

"Hey Sam, you don't think we um, did something do you?" She asks.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you don't think we had sex do you?" She asks. I thought about it.

"No, but it is possible," I said. She leaned into me as I brushed her mane.

"I think we should check," she said worriedly. I nod.

"I think it's a good idea," I say. We went to the hospital shortly. I told the doc about what happened. He nodded and took Rainbow in for testing. I sat worriedly, waiting for the results. When the doc came in I gave him a worried glance. He smiled and shook his head. I sighed of relief.

"The result is a negative Sam, be careful next time you drink," he says. I thank him and got Rainbow and left. As we walked home, the sun was setting, and the sky turned a golden color.

"Hey Sam?" Rainbow asks.

"Yes?"

"Have you ever thought about having children?" She asks.

"We've been dating for only a month," I said.

"It's just a question!" She said. I looked up in thought,

"Now that I think about it, I'm not sure, I guess it would be fun, but it'll be hard to raise," I said. She looks at me.

"What if we had a baby?" I froze.

"I'm not sure, I guess it would be great, but I'm not ready to take care of a baby though," I said.

"How do you know if you're ready?" I looked at her.

"Why these question about kids?" I ask. She shrugged.

"I thought about it while I was tested," she said. I smiled.

"Well, here we are," I said. We were right on my doorstep. I kissed Rainbow goodnight and headed into bed. I yawned and drifted off into a goodnight sleep. It was interrupted a little bit later by knocking on the door. I got up and opened the door to see Rainbow. She looked like she felt bad. "Hey Rainbow what's up?" I asked.

"Well, I've been thinking about you and me, and I don't want to be with you anymore," she says. My heart drooped.

"What? W-why?" I asked. She looks at me.

"Well, I saw that Soarin was never called lame behind his back, and he's a pony. While you, you're just boring, and an alien! I don't want to be caught with you anymore," she answered. I felt shattered.

"B-but I-I thought we h-had something special!" I almost yelled. She shook her head, and left me, trying to register what just happened. It started raining. I started crying.

"Sam, what happened?" Asked Jacob as he ran up. I closed my mouth and wiped away the tears.

"Nothing," I said.

"Ugh, Sam why are you always so difficult! You keep bottling up your feeling and then all of us have to deal with it!" I took a step back.

"J-Jacob?" I ask terrified.

"No, just shut up Sam, this is all your fault!" He yells. I felt tears coming to me again.

"W-what's my fault?" I ask shakily.

"That we even got here in the first place!" He yelled. "Now thanks to your idea, we are stuck in a world where we can never see our families again!" He screamed. I backed up. "Sam, this is all your fault! If you hadn't messed with that equipment back on Earth, we wouldn't be fucking stuck in a goddamn world!" He screamed. I slammed the door. I kept backing up. This is all my fault. I sat down on the couch. I started sobbing. Someone knocked on the door furiously. I opened it again.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT!?" I yelled. It was Max.

"Sam calm down!" He said.

"No! This is all my fault, I'm the one who was stupid enough to get in trouble! I-if I hadn't messed with a goddamn machine then we wouldn't be here!" I yelled. I slammed the door. I felt terrible. What the hell was I doing? There was knocking on the door again. I opened it and yelled," LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I looked at what I yelled at. I felt my heart shatter. It was Rainbow, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie, Joe, Jacob, Max, Henry, and Tom. Fluttershy cried. Rainbow looked in horror. The rest glared at me. I slammed the door and sat on the couch. What was I doing? Why did I yell at them? What is wrong with me? I hit my head against the wall. I sobbed. I cried. I don't know how long, but I cried. A gentle hoof rested on my shoulder.

"Sam, calm down," it was gentle. It was soothing. It took me a little bit, but I calmed down. "There, is that better?" I nodded. "Good, Sam, this is a dream, none of this is real," I looked up to see Luna.

"It is?" I asked. She nodded. "So, why is this a nightmare?" I asked.

"I think you have guilt Sam, about getting you and your friends into this world," she says.

"But, it really is my fault though," she shook her head.

"Sam, have you ever looked at the good side of you?" She asked. I sighed.

"I don't, because I don't have one. I'm not a good thing," I said. She chuckled.

"Then why is Rainbow in love with you?" I thought about it.

"I don't know. I'm not like her, yeah I exercise but I'm not strong," I said. She smiled.

"It's because you have a good heart," I smiled. I nodded. "Sam, you shouldn't look down on yourself thinking you are something terrible, you should look at what you've accomplished," I looked down.

"I guess so, but-" she puts a hoof in my mouth.

"Don't say that you aren't good enough for anything," I nodded. "Alright, this is goodbye Sam, heed on what I had said," I smiled and nodded. I waved as she disappeared.

I yawned as I wake up to a new day. I instantly loathed Sun-butt as well. I rolled out of bed, falling off and rub my head. I groaned getting up and heard a knock on the door. I walked over and opened it to see Jacob. I instantly flung at him tightly hugging him.

"S-SAM! I NEED OXYGEN!" He tried to say. I chuckled and let go. "I think you broke my arms," he says. "What got into you?" I smiled while I shed a couple of tears.

"It's a long story," I said. He scratched his head but shrugged it off.

"So, have you heard?" He asks. I have a bad feeling.

"About what?" I ask.

"Well, I recently talked to Rainbow and she was going to ask you a question. She told me to tell you, to meet her at the bridge at night tonight. Oh, and feel like something is going to happen!" I had a confused look.

"Hey, have you heard about Applejack?" I asked smiling like a devil. He nodded. "Think they're love birds?" I ask.

"Oh they are, they just didn't want some people to know," he said. I chuckled.

"Speaking of which, have you and Fluttershy clicked?" I asked. He blushed deeply.

"Well, you could say that," he said. It took me a minute but it hit me like a brick.

"You and her?" He nods. "You both... had fun?" I ask smiling like the devil again. He looks down and nods. "I'll get a ring for you, while making the wedding bells ring!" I said. He glared.

"Sam, you had sex with RD!" I shook my head.

"On the contrary, we had apparently just cuddled, in a weird way," I said. I smiled as his eye twitched.

"So, only two out of five people that drank had sex!?" He almost yelled. I chuckled.

"Well, congrats dude," I said. He glared even deeper than before. I chuckled nervously.

"I swear to God I will kill you one day Sam!" He said.

"But then who would be the most magnificent troll here?" I asked looking scared. He smiled shaking his head.

"How is it that you make people laugh I'll never know."

"Jacob buddy, I'm a man of miracles," I said simply. Later on in the evening, I went to the bridge. I had on a grey sweater and a pair of jeans on since it was cold today. I looked at my watch. It was indeed 11:55. I exhaled. I don't know why I'm nervous. She is my marefriend after all. I saw Rainbow slowly hover to the bridge, muttering something to herself. "Hey Rainbow!" I said. She looks at me startled. She smiles sheepishly. I have a feeling something's going to happen.

"Hey Sam," she says back.

"Why do you need to ask me a question here? You could've just asked me in person," I said. She sheepishly smiles and flies over to me.

"Well, this is a special question, but before I ask it, we must do a few things!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me away. We went to the theater first. We watched a movie called 'Daring Do and the 12 Mystery Rings'. During the movie, we had popcorn and two sodas. I had my arm around her, and she was smiling the whole time. I'm going to guess that it wasn't because of my arm. When we left, we then went to Sugarcube. We had a milkshake, which we shared. I had some weird feeling the whole time though. I then saw something at the bottom of the glass. It was a ring. I gave a quzzled look at Rainbow and reached in to get it. When I pulled it out, I noticed something. There was a diamond on it. It was an engagement ring. "Hey Sam," she said I looked at her surprised. She looked at me with hope in her eyes. "Will you marry me?" I had to think. Wait, shouldn't it b- never mind, I've seen women proposed in movies. I backed up.

"Um, I-I-I-I-I," I continued saying that like a broken record. Pinkie looks at me puzzled.

"I think you broke him," she said. Rainbow went over and slapped me at the back of the head. I was silent.

"I um, don't know," I said. Rainbow looked at me disappointedly.

"So, no?" She asks. I shook my head.

"L-let me just, think about it for a few days," I said. Her ears droop.

"Oh, oh alright then," she said. She flew off with the ring. I sighed.

Later

"... and that's what happened," I said to Jacob. He apparently became a psychiatrist after talking to a lot of ponies and fixing them or their problems.

"Well, you are in a tricky situation Sam," he said. I nodded. "How much do you love Rainbow?" He asks. I looked at him with a glare.

"What does that supposed to mean," I said darkly. He had wide eyes but reestablished himself.

"I'm asking, do you love Rainbow enough to spend the rest of your life with her?" He asks. I paused.

"Well, I do love Rainbow, and I would do anything to protect her-"

"Then marry her you idiot," he says looking at his note book. I gave him a raised eyebrow. "Sam, someone was bound to say it," he said rolling his eyes.

"Well, whatever you say doc," I said. I got up and left waving bye. When I got out, feeling the fresh air had made me feel a little better about what the hell's going on. I went to Rainbow's house shortly and looked up.

"Hey Rainbow?!" I yelled. Rainbow was beside me within an instant.

"Yeah Sam?" She asks. I smiled.

"Remember that proposal?" I asked. She nodded with a scared look.

"Yes," I said simply. I was then tackled to the ground, being kissed. Unknown to us, the rest of the guys and mares watched in adorable awe.

"I told you it would happen," said Tom to Twilight.

"Well, Rainbow seems happy," Applejack said. Pinkie is bouncing up and down in excitement. Jacob saw it coming but smiled. Fluttershy held onto Jacob's arm. Max and the others smiled. Pinkie, being the excited mare she is, runs up to me and Rainbow.

"Hey Sammy hey Dashie, we just saw you say yes to Rainbow and I thought ' ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!' and then I was like, 'Hey, let's celebrate with a party, so can I can I can I!?!?" It took me a minute to realize what she even said.

"I guess so?" Pinkie started vibrating and went up like a rocket. I chuckled and Rainbow laughed. So then, me and the guys celebrated while Rainbow and the girls did the same. We hung out and drank wine. This time I didn't drink again. The others said I was too tense and tried to loosen me up. We eventually went to our houses and slept. Next morning I woke up, and put on my work clothes. I got breakfast at Sugarcube and went to work. While I was fixing one machine that generate's clouds, Thunderlane was talking.

"So Sam, I heard you're getting married? With Rainbow I presume."

"Yeah."

"Do you have the wedding planned?"

"Yeah."

"Are you lieing?"

"...Yeah."

"Sam, I know a great pony for this."

"Pinkie's planning it."

"So, who're your best stallions?"

"So far, Jacob, Bonebeat, and you."

"I feel obliged."

"Dammit."

"What's wrong?"

"Shocked myself."

"Did it hurt?"

"No, it felt like rainbows and chocolates."

"I didn't know those felt good."

"It's sarcasm."

"Oh I know, I'm just following up."

"In that case, can I please knock you over once I'm done?"

"Nah, I think I'm too handsome," he says. The machine started working again. I got up. I smacked Thunder at the back of the head. He laughed and went back to work. I went to my office. I sighed. Everypony has been bugging me about the wedding. I felt like everyone was crowding around me. I finally let loose and relaxed in my cushioned chair. I heard the buzz for lunch break and smiled. I got out and ate a doughnut, and drank some water. When the day was over, I trudged home and slept throughout the rest of the day.

Chapter 12: A weird wedding

I woke up, shaken by Jacob.

"Wake up Sam! You have got to get ready!" I yawned and swatted his hand away.

"Ugh, ready for what?" I ask.

"For your wedding!" I shot up out of bed.

"Oh crap I forgot!" I said. I got dressed quickly as possible. I started remembering that four weeks ago I had said yes to Rainbow's proposal. We waited four weeks because I was not entirely sure and quick about it. We still wanted to get married and here I am. I got into my tuxedo and looked at myself in the mirror. "Do I look okay? I hope I do. Am I being nervous? Oh man I needed a different suit don't I?" Bonebeat shut me up, and smiled chuckling.

"Sam, you're fine, just, calm down okay?" Bonebeat said. I sighed, breathing in and out. I then started hyperventilating. Thunderlane slapped me hard.

"CALM DOWN MAN!!!" He yelled. I calmed down while Max and Jacob looked at Thunderlane surprised. He gave them a questioned look. "What? I've done this kind of thing hundreds of times, it works every time as well."

"Thanks Thunder I needed that," I said. We chilled out a little. I was nervous as all hell though. I smiled nervously.

"Sam, chill out, you have thirty minutes before the wedding, come on let's go," I nodded and we went to it. I sat in the front row. I had some time to kill. I looked behind me to see who was attending. I saw RD's friends, my co-workers, my best stallions and man, the Cakes, and the pri- wait the princesses!? They saw me and waved. I instantly bowed. They rolled their eyes.

"You do not need to bow Sam, you're a friend to us," Luna said. I nodded. I sat up and smiled. Bonebeat was handling the music as well as being my best man. I figured that out when I asked if he knew anyone to play music. He said he could put a record he made from another wedding. I decided why not. He said he's attended weddings before, and that he did ask the ponies who made the song if it was okay. They said it was and I thought why not. I loved the music. I got in place as soon as the music started. I smiled as pony, after human, then pony again. I was awestruck as Rainbow came down the aisle. She had on a beautiful white gown, and I could only stare at her in awe. She got up to me.

"So how do I look?" She whispers.

"I can't describe how beautiful you are," I whisper back.

"Welcome today everypony to see another, beautiful, wedding in Ponyville," said Mayor Mare. "This wedding must be very special, especially Sam," I blushed being center of attention. I knew we should've eloped. "But, this couple, can actually give us a new look on love, for even though Sam, is an alien from another planet, and that Rainbow, is a different species than him, it shows that love can go far, and that it can be a mysterious thing, that and it can be surprising. Sam and Rainbow faced some problem during there dates, but they still shined on, and show that they can be together, no matter what. Now, Sam, do you take Rainbow Dash, as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"You can bet on your bits I do!" I said. Mayor chuckled.

"Don't go overboard Sam, now Rainbow, do you take Sam, as your lawfully husband?" She looked at me. She hesitated. I felt my heart skip a beat. She chuckled seeing my reaction.

"Yes, yes I do," She said.

"Rainbow, you can now kiss the bride!" I looked at her. "Oops, I meant Sam, you can now kiss the bride!"

"You forgot that Rainbow's a mare didn't you?" I ask. She smiled.

"On the contrary," I thought she agreed with me, and nodded. I realized what she actually said. Before I could object, Rainbow had rolled her eyes and kissed me. I melted in to the kiss. Rainbow soon threw the flowers backwards and Applejack catches it. She and Joe looked at each other blushing. Me and Rainbow chuckled. We then headed home once the party was over. I sighed once we were in Rainbow's home.

"Hey Rainbow? Where should we go for our honeymoon?" I asked. She shrugged and fell down on the bed. I fell down beside her. She smiled, holding my hand in her hoof. I sighed in relief that today was over. For five seconds.

"I know! We could go to Las Pegasus!" I almost groaned but nodded.

"Sounds fun to me!" I said. We were on the train ride there in an hour.

Later

I groaned and got off the train. It took us a huge amount of time to get here, but I think it was worth it. Rainbow was still pumped.

"Come on Sam! We've got to go to a restaurant first! I'm starving!" She said while landing on me dramatically, making me carry her. I didn't mind for the most part, but I was tired! I walked to the first restaurant I saw. I put Rainbow down and we walk in. I ordered the first thing I saw. Bacon burger. It has BACON on it. BACON FOR FRICKS SAKE! When I got it. I dug in. Rainbow almost bursted laughing seeing that I actually didn't care for manners. I glared at her.

"Rainbow, I haven't eaten meat at all for a month!" I said. She rolled her eyes and chowed into her hay burger. I smirked and she stopped me before I even spoke. We left after eating and looked around for a hotel. I found one and it was three stars.

"Nah, Sam we should go to a five star," she said. I rolled my eyes.

"Rainbow, we have a budget," I said. She sighs.

"Fine, but I better get a massage by the end of this!" She said. I chuckled. We entered the room. The desk pony looks up and raises an eyebrow.

"May I help you two?" I went up to her.

"We would like a room please," I said. She gives me a raised eyebrow. "Me and the rainbow pegasus are married," I said. She looked at Rainbow. She nodded.

"Alright, here are your keys to the private room," I looked at her puzzled. "There's a discount for married couples," she explained. I thanked her and we entered our private room.

(I'm going to time skip, because I only said that sex was referenced.)

We woke up next morning, Rainbow on my chest, and breathing softly. I smiled. I put on clothes and ate something. I smiled looking at Rainbow sleeping. I loved her, I thought. I loved her when I've only known her for a few weeks. I am weird, I guess I just have a good heart.

Chapter 13: Surprising news

The honeymoon was very eventful, we had a few parties, alone time, and some sexy time. We got back home in Ponyville. I felt relieved once we got out of the train. We got in our house and sighed.

"Hey Sam?" Rainbow asks.

"Yes?" She looks at me concerned.

"I think I should be tested to see if I got pregnant," she said. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You realize that we are a different species right?" I asked. She nodded.

"I know, but still," she trailed off. I put an arm around her.

"We can go check," I said. She smiles. We went to the hospital to give Rainbow a pregnancy test. I waited in the waiting room again. I was actually a little scared. The doctor came in with a shocked face.

"Um, Mr. Sam, Rainbow is pregnant," I had a shocked look.

"W-wait what?" I asked.

"Well, it shows positive," he said. I fell down. I woke up later.

"Ugh, Rainbow I had this ter-" I stopped. The doc was chuckling nervously. "It wasn't a dream was it?" I asked. He shook his head. Rainbow is ventilating. I almost slapped her but then remembered she probably isn't like me when it comes to slapping. I instead shook her. "GET IT TOGETHER MARE!" I almost yelled. She nodded and started calming down. The doc shook his head.

"I can see why you two are together, you're both two of a kind," he said shaking his head. Oh crap that rhymes. We left soon after, we left for Sugarcube Corner. I protested at first but she said she was feeling like she needs something. We walked in to the place and Pinkie and Max waved.

"Hiya Sammy, what can I get ya?"

"Something with not much sugar please," I said. She puts a chocolate cake slice in front of us. Rainbow stared at it hungrily. I took it away from her. " I mean almost no sugar at all," Pinkie raised an eyebrow at me. Max understood instantly.

"I'll go get some dark chocolate," he said. He brought Pinkie with him. A short little while later, he brought out a dark chocolate slice of cake. Rainbow ate it and actually liked it. Pinkie was looking at Rainbow strangely. I saw her look away when she noticed me look at her.

"Pinkie? Is something wrong?" I asked. She gave a puzzled look at Rainbow then looked back at me. I leaned over. "Since she's pregnant she doesn't get to have that much sugar," I whispered. She nodded understandingly. Once we were done, me and Rainbow went to her house and watched a lot of movies. Some were Daring Do, some I didn't even know.

Nine months later

We bursts through the hospital doors. I was yelling gibberish as we charged into the lobby with a into-labor Rainbow Dash. The docs immediately stepped back as we ran through. Once Rainbow was in the delivery room, I stood by her, holding her hoof as screams of pain rang out. Outside in the waiting room were my friends and Rainbow's too. They kept hearing screaming and shushes of reassurance. Max looked at Pinkie worriedly. Jacob was holding Fluttershy's hoof as she gripped it tightly. Applejack was holding Joe's hand as he was actually scared for me. Applejack rolled her eyes at him.

"If I knew Rainbow, she would be okay at the end of this," she said. Joe nodded. "I don't know Sam too much, but I know that he is doing his best to make her feel better through all of this," she said as well. Joe nodded. Jacob was worried as well. Everyone was. Inside, Rainbow was holding my hand tightly for someone who doesn't have fingers. I was worried sick. She kept screaming as well as pushing. After what seemed like days to me, which turned out to be more than two to three hours, she finally felt relieved. I looked at the doc. He nodded smiling. The baby came out okay. I walked over and gasped. What I saw to me, was amazingly beautiful. There was a pegasus, a baby pegasus. It had a blue coat, along with a cyan mane. He was messy true, but to me he was a beautiful baby. I looked to see if it was a boy or a girl. It was a boy! I almost cried out of joy. I showed Rainbow the baby. She smiled looking at me.

"Sam, he's beautiful," she said. I nodded. The baby opened his eyes and we saw two magenta orbs. I cried. Out of pure joy I cried. Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Sam, he may be beautiful, but you don't have to cry for him," she said.

"T-these are not tears. This is liquid awesomeness." I whispered. She giggled.

"Drama king," she said. We cleaned the small foal and went home. He had been giggling mostly. He was adorable. When we got inside, a confetti cannon went off.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE FOAL!" almost yelled an excited pink pony. I almost had a heart attack.

"What's his name? What's his name?" Asked Pinkie. Max pulled her into a hug to make her stay still.

"Um, his name is uh," I said. I looked at Rainbow. She shrugged. I came up with something. "His name is Fretus Wing," I said. Rainbow looked at me.

"That's a good name," she said. I nodded. We smiled looking at our little Fretus. When the party was over, we went to Fretus' room that we prepared for him. He lies peacefully in his crib. We smiled at the little foal peacefully snoring. "We did good Sam," she said. I nodded.

"Now, we just have to worry about the nightmares of raising a child," I said. She punched me in the arm playfully.

"I think we'll survive," she said sighing. At that note, we left Fretus' room and went into our room. We slept soon after, due to the day making us tired.

Chapter 14: Married couple

It has been a year after Fretus' birth, and I think that he may be the best child EVER! He had his first steps when he was 7 months old. He started talking just a week ago. He was precious to me and Rainbow. The days went by fast. We still saw our friends though. Turns out, Jacob and Fluttershy are dating. Applejack and Joe are married. Twilight and Tom were dating. Henry and Rarity were too. Pinkie and Max were married. We were all happy. Rainbow was usually worried though. She says that when Fretus is going to school next year, and that maybe he isn't going to like the school we picked. It was a flight academy. I don't know why she was though. One special day after another, time flew fast. I remember the first time he made his first steps. The time he first spoke. It has been another year, and I don't want him to grow up. One day, me and Rainbow were in bed.

"Hey Sam?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever wonder why you're here?"

"It's one of life's great mysteries isn't it? Are we, some sort of cosmic incident or, is there really God out there watching and planning for us. I don't know, but it keeps me up at night sometimes."

"... What? No, I mean why are you humans here in the first place?"

"Huh? That, oh I have no idea."

"So, what was that stuff about cosmic coincidence and stuff?"

"Nothing."

"Want to talk about it?"

"No."

"You sure?"

"Yep." She chuckled at me,

"You sure, because I can make you feel safe."

"Oh shut up," I said blushing while she giggled.

"You're too easy."

"Not as easy as admiring you," I said. She rolled her eyes.

"If it was hard to admire me, then you didn't marry me," she said. I sighed.

"How is it that I can never get back at you?" I asked.

"It's my charm Sam," she said smirking.

"What's mine?"

"You," she said. I smiled. Fretus opened our door. I looked to see him holding a picture. There was a stickman, a rainbow pegasus, and a smaller blue pegasus. I smiled.

"Hey Daddy, hey Mommy, I drew a picture of us!" I looked at the picture. It was good in my eyes. I smiled and hugged him.

"Thank you Fretus, it's beautiful," he beamed.

"Really?" I nodded. He trotted to his room happily. Rainbow smiled at the sight.

"To think that two years ago, you said you didn't think you were a good parent," she said. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm, okay at it," I said. She chuckled. Her grin faded when she looked at the calendar.

"Sam, he's growing up fast to me," I shook my head.

"Why do you think that?" I ask. She points.

"He's going to school tomorrow. Are you sure that he's ready?"

"Rainbow, don't be a smother," I said. She looks at me not amused.

"Still, I'm just worried," she said. I went over and pet her. Her mane was soft to me. She looked at me seeming to be smiling weakly. "What am I a pet?" She said. I chuckled.

"No, you're a pony," I said wisely. She rolled her eyes and muttered, "Smart-flank." I raised an eyebrow. She smiled innocently.

Later

It's the beginning of school for Fretus. I am worried sick. I don't know why though, he seems capable, so I should be fine right? Well, only time will tell. Ponies really do grow up fast. I waved as Fretus left with Rainbow. Rainbow came back thirty minutes later.

"I'm still worried," she said.

"Why?" I ask.

"Well, there were some colts that seemed, rough," she said.

"Oh don't worry, he's our son, if he takes after you it'll be no sweat," I said cheering her up.

"Still, I don't like how they were acting, they were pushing each other around," I rolled my eyes.

"When I was in school, my classmates did the same thing. Yet, thanks to Jacob and Max, I wasn't pushed too far," I said.

"And the point was?"

"He'll be bound to make some friends soon," I said. I missed Fretus already and it's been four hours. I cleaned the dishes and the trash in Fretus' room. I was careful though. I didn't want to mess his stuff up. Soon, it was 3:30, and a blue ball of energy came right through the door and into my chest, making me fall over. Fretus had tears and Rainbow had a concerned look. "Shh shh, calm down Fretus, what happened?" I asked. He was babbling and I couldn't make some words out. "Calm down Fretus, shhh, calm down. Now, start over once you can feel like speaking," I said carefully. He nodded and calmed down a little. He started speaking.

Earlier to Fretus

Fretus waved bye at his mom and he stood still. He didn't know what to do. He felt shy. He looked around and saw no one he could talk to.

"Hey dude!" A voice called. He looked around. He looked up to see a filly, no bigger than him, land beside him.

"Name's Bright Game, but you can call me Bright!" She said. Fretus chuckled nervously.

"My name's Fretus Wing, but you can call me Fretus," he said shaking her hoof.

"Hey, are you new around here?" She asks. Fretus nods. "Let me show you around Fretus!" She said. A colt came up flying with them.

She show him around the school and lots of ponies too. Soon, Fretus starts becoming the most talkative colt around. No one mind for the most part, but he soon realized that no one was actually listening. He didn't mind though. When it was time for flying lessons, that's when it turned bad. A pony was next to flying after Fretus. He started flying, and he did a loop and landed successfully. The coach nodded smiling. Fretus started flying, but then hit against a pole hard. He slid down and got off with a pop. It hurt badly. They started to stop laughing when his nose actually bled. He tried to hide himself with his wing. The coach came over to him and he was sent to the nurse. When he came out, his nose was fine and fixed. The colt who had done a loop walked over.

"Hey, it's that colt who hit a pole! How did it feel? You know, embarrassing yourself throughout the whole school?" He snickered. Fretus held his ground.

"It was not a good experience," he said. the colt smirked.

"A colt of few words huh? Well, let me tell you something, you don't deserve to be here if you almost bombed a flight test," he said. Fretus looked down in shame, but Bright went over.

"Shut up Debble, it's not like he's supposed to be an expert!" Fretus felt a little better and Debble huffed.

"Whatever, atleast I am not a ground-feather!" He said laughing. Bright looked hurt by that. Fretus looked at Debble seriously.

"So? Atleast we have friends, and that they aren't just there for show!" Debble had a look of surprise. He tried choosing his words.

"Well, you- um, you uh, blankflank!" He said smirking. Fretus rolled his eyes.

"You don't even have anything to come back at me with," Debble didn't know how to come back at that, but he huffed and went out. Bright smiled.

"Thanks, he's not very nice to a lot of us," she said. Fretus nodded understanding. It is now almost end of the school day. Only five minutes to go. Fretus was in biology. It was needed so that they knew how their wings work, and if needed, use them to get out of a bad situation. Fretus had listened to the teacher when he felt a sharp pencil, poke him him in the back of the neck. Debbles was stifling chuckles while doing so.

"AGH!" He jumped, hit the ceiling, and landed back in his seat. The teacher looked at Fretus glaring.

"Mr Fretus? Is something wrong?" She asks. Fretus blushed.

"No..." he said, looking down.

"Then, why in all of Equestria did you interrupt me in class?" She asks glaring even darker.

"Well, Debbles poked me with a penci-"

"Debbles? Do you think I would believe that the good colt in this class would do something bad?" Fretus' eyes were wide.

"He's not a good colt, he's bee-"

"No, I will not have this conversation with you Fretus, you can see me for Saturday school," she said going back to her teaching. The school bell rang and he was hiding his tears. Whe his mom came, he went with her.

"So, how was school today?"

"..."

"... Fretus? Are you okay?" When they reached to the house, he flew in with tears.

Present

"Fretus, it's okay, I'll talk to the teacher tomorrow, alright? Rainbow and I will straighten things out," I said, nodding to Rainbow. She nodded back and we hugged Fretus comfortingly.

I groaned as we waited beside Fretus. Rainbow was busy today, so I had to do this myself. I am not a good speaker. I just know that I'm going to mess up. I hear the door open and I stand up and walk in. The teacher was filing her papers and she looked up and almost gasped.

"Hello Ms..." I said raising an eyebrow. She coughed and reestablished herself.

"My name's Treasured Ember," Ember said.

"Hello Ms Ember, my name's Sam Smith, Fretus' father," I said trying my best not to feel angry.

"Ah, well Mr Smith, I assume you're not married?"

"I'm married, it's just that my wife isn't able to be here right now because of work," I said raising an eyebrow.

"Well, why are you here?" She asked impatiently.

"Well, my son was bullied yesterday, and you didn't even listen to him just because said bully was a nice kid to you," I said trying my best not to glare.

"Well, that is a fact Mr Smith, he is a good child. He's never been reported for bullying," she said. I sighed.

"Ms Ember, I hate to break it to you, but that doesn't mean he is not a bad kid," I said,

"Of coarse it does, he is my son after all, so I know him best," she said starting to get more impatient. I sighed, as I am about to give up. I know for a fact that I'm not good with arguments.

"Is it also a reason to not listen to my son at all?" I asked raising an eyebrow. I then remembered something. "Because teachers are supposed to listen to children when they do have a problem," I said now using common sense. The teacher then rolled her eyes.

"Mr Smith, I respect you and all, but Debbles is not a bully, if he was, most of the kids would have tried to report by now," she said glaring at me.

"How many kids did you cut off when they tried to report Debbles bullying?" I asked raising an eyebrow even higher. She opened her mouth but then closed it. Bingo. "I'm not saying your not a good teacher Ms Ember, I'm just saying that you need to listen to any problem, even if it includes your son being the problem," I said. She looked down kind of embarrassed. I almost chuckled. "Hey look on the bright side, I mentioned something about it before it got worse," I said patting her back. She sighed and nodded.

"I just can't imagine my son being a bully though," she said.

"Hey, bullies can be like that," I said. She nodded and she told me to tell Fret us to not come in for Saturday school. I nodded and she told me that Debbles will apologize to Fret us and I thanked her. Before I walked out she stopped me.

"Hey, thank you for not saying that I was a terrible teacher," she said. I nodded and walked out. When I got home Rainbow looked at me with a concerned look. I smiled.

"It's okay Rainbow, for once in my life I actually won in an argument," I said and she smirked.

"Think you'll win against me?" She asked.

"Not in a million years," I said while sitting down beside her.

"Why?" She asked looking at me.

"Because you're too stubborn," I said smiling. "Keyword: too," I said. She punched my arm playfully.

"I'm not that stubborn," she said. I nodded and smiled like I was actually listening. I told Fretus what happened and he smiled.

"Thank you daddy," he said hugging me. I smiled and he went off. I went to check the mail, and saw that there was a letter from Pinkie.

Dear Sammy and Dashie and Wingy,

I'm inviting you to a birthday party for Ivory! This invite is also for Applecake, whose birthday is tomorrows!!! So please come!

I looked at Rainbow. She nodded. Fretus was excitedly nodding his head when we asked him if he wanted to come along.

"I can't wait to see Max and Pinkie! Along with Jacob and Fluttershy!" I chuckled at his excitement.

"You'll also see their children," I added. He nodded quickly.

"I just can't wait!!!" Fretus said as he jumped around.

"Woah there Pinkie, it's going to be tomorrow, not five seconds," I said. He giggled. After everything that happened today, I'm just going to sleep. I honestly felt terribly tired. I didn't think about it at first, but I felt a tug on my shirt by Rainbow. I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I looked around. It's dark and the clock said 11:55. I yawned. "How long was I asleep?" I asked. She looked up in thought.

"About six hours," she said chuckling. I stretched.

"Rainbow, I'm old," I said. She rolled her eyes and patted my back.

"Don't sorry old timer, you have enough fuel for little old me?" She asked. I instantly got up, and ran to the bedroom. She giggled. "Fell for it didn't you?"

"Good one Dashie!" I almost yelled so she could hear me from down the hall.

I swear I'm never going to doubt if Pinkie's good with parties ever again. I watched in awe as Ivory was grinning enormously thanks to the flavor of the cake. Reason why I was in awe was because the cake itself was huge! I just felt a tug on my shirt by Rainbow, who was smiling at my awe stricken face. I chuckled at myself and watched as Fretus started talking with Ivory. Ivory was a filly, green coat and yellow eyes, her mane was a darker green. Of coarse, she was a pegasus since Jacob was not like Fluttershy. I smiled as they bro-hoofed. Like father like son. Rainbow was talking with Fluttershy and Jacob. I walked over.

"... and I said, 'do you want to talk about it?' He said no, so I spiced the moment up by saying, 'are you sure? I could make you feel very safe,'" Jacob couldn't keep himself from laughing while Fluttershy just giggled. I didn't hear the last part, so I was confused.

"What?" I asked.

"We were just laughing at the fact that you had a conversation that's so much like Red vs Blue," Jacob said.

"It's Blue vs Red Jacob, don't get it backwards," I said. I loved the Blue team a lot more than the Red team.

"What's Red vs Bl-"

"BLUE VS RED."

"Alright, Blue vs Red?" Asked Rainbow.

"It's a series that started in a first person shooter game. It was made by a channel called Rooster Teeth," Jacob explained.

"Really? What happened in it?" Flutterrshy asked, getting curious.

"Well, at first, the two teams were just doing nothing. They were usually the most idiotic groups throughout their entire army. Then, after a few events, they became quite legendary. They were still idiots, but they were still good at fighting," I said answering the question. All three of them looked at me confused. "Okay, I could understand if Fluttershy and Rainbow could be confused. So, if Jacob's confused, then I didn't explain too well," I said. Jacob nods. "Sorry," I said smiling. Jacob explains what Blue vs Red is. Rainbow was very interested while Fluttershy was losing interest. I looked at Fretus to make sure he's still there. Like me, he has a potential to wonder around. He's still talking to Ivory. I smiled. I then saw a blur of a ball with the color orange and brown crashed onto a table. I jumped back surprised.

"Sorry every pony," said the little filly, who was chuckling nervously. My mind clicked and I smiled.

"It's okay, is your name Applecake by any chance?" The little filly nodded.

"Yes sir! Are you uncle Max?" I schook my head.

"Sorry, I'm not Max, I'm Sam," I said. Applecake sheepishly nodded. Applecake soon got over to Ivory and Fretus. I could quickly see that they started getting along quite well. I looked around for Pinkie and Max. I was surprised to not seeing them at first, because Pinkie was planning the party. I then saw, what was the most pink I've ever seen. A sound of a cannon bursts through the air. I instantly had a face full of streamers. I backed up, tripped and fell down. It surprised me, but it was kind of funny. I wiped the streamers from my face and started laughing. Max had gone over to help me.

"Sam are you alright?" He asked, worry and concern in his voice.

"Yeah," I said smiling.

"Sorry Sammy, I forgot that you're not used to cannons, especially my party cannon," Pinkie said stifling giggles. I got up, brushing off others streamers that were clinging onto my leg. Rainbow was on the floor, Fretus was laughing, Ivory was shocked, yet she started laughing as well. Applecake was giggling at me, Applejack, who was following Pinkie had rolled her eyes, Joe was chuckling, Fluttershy had become a sticker, clinging onto a laughing Jacob. I looked around to see Cheerilee, who was smiling. I tilted my head. I didn't know Cherilee knew Fluttershy. Jacob went over, greeting her, and I just went to sit in a chair, watching. I didn't go out to talk to anyone because I didn't see anyone one of my friends other than Jacob, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Max, and Pinkie. I then remember something hitting me in the head.

"Ooooowww, my head," I said, feeling like I had been hit by a rhino.

"Oops, sorry Sam!" Said a voice I could never say I forget.

"It's alright Joe, but did you really have to hit me with a shovel?" I asked, trying my best not to yell.

"I thought you had a spider on your face!" Joe said sheepishly smiling.

"You thought you saw a multi-colored spider on my face? That, and why did you still use a shovel?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Says the person with a multi-colored wife," Joe said smirking, completely ignoring my shovel questions.

"Eh, I guess you got me there," I said. Rainbow came up to me.

"Alright Sam, come on," she said, dragging me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you're going to tell some of us what happened when you got to Equestria," she answered. "I told them about our conversation one night," she quickly explained. "I also remembered that none of us exactly knew what happened to you and the other humans before you got to this place," she added. I was sat down in front of seven people and ponies. I sighed and thought back.

A very long time ago...

"Hey guys! What's up?" I asked as I let my friends into my home. It was kind of nice, it had six rooms and one hallway. A bathroom, living room, parents room, me and my sister's room, back room, and kitchen. It was small, but very friendly.

"Hey Sam, we need some help with a project," Max said. He had a worried look.

"What kind of project?" I asked concerned. These guys don't have good ideas most of the time, but either Tom or I straighten them out. Seeing that Tom had a worried face, it's my turn this time.

"Well, it's kind of for our job interviews for tomorrow. There's a building at West Flint Avenue, and we need some help getting something," Tom said.

"So where do I fit in?" I asked.

"Well, we need some expertise on explosives," Max said. I perked up.

"Okay, guys, as much as I want to handle something that could blow up, I think whatever the hell you're doing is illegal," I said.

"You're in with us too you know," Tom said.

"Ugh, fine, but I am not going to prison because we did something bad!" I said. They nodded.

"Alright, so we're supposed to test out an explosive at Flint Avenue, but none of us are experts at stuff like this, so we need you to handle said explosive," Henry said. I rolled my eyes.

"What level explosives are these?" I asked. They looked around.

"Nuclear. Well, mini nuclear anyway, it's supposed to explode in a 10 meter radius," said Max. "They only told us what it is, they didn't tell us how to use it," he explained. I nodded.

"Alright, I'll give it a go, but we will need to make sure that no one gets hurt," I said sternly. They all nodded and led me to the test site. I looked at the abandoned building. It was some sort of abandoned school house. I looked at the rocket launcher. It looks like the kind of launcher I saw while playing Gmod once, it was fun. It had the physics of an RPG, except the rocket on the end had a radiation symbol on the end. If it was bigger, it would look like a bomb that could blow up the world. I got my hand on it and saw instantly how it worked. The trigger was at the very end of it, close the the bomb itself. I put the butt of it on my shoulder, aiming the rocket at the building.

"How fast does it launch?" I asked.

"About 50 mph," Tom said. I corrected my aim and fired. I was flown back as the building was exploded into bits. Bits of cash was flying everywhere and they were inflamed. We all stared in silence. Police cars pulled in, some cops have pistols and were shouting for us to stand down. What did we just do? I asked myself. I then saw blackness. I woke up, groaning. My head hurt, and we were in a cell. Max was across from me. Tom was next to me as well. The others were in the cell next to us. A deep voice barked at us.

"Alright terrorists, get the fuck up!" Yelled a warrant officer. I trembled. What had happened? Me and the others were pushed into a room. It was a court room. I was shaking terribly.

"Alright, session in court! What is the crime?" Yelled the judge glaring at us.

"They were firing illegal explosives at stolen contraband," said a voice that made Max enraged.

"Illegal?!" yelled Max as his face became red.

"ORDER!!! What does these six have to say?" Asked the judge.

"THAT BITCH HIRED US!!!" Yelled Max, pointing at the man with a snake-like smile.

"Do you have proof?" Asked the judge, tapping his finger.

"Yes we do! My resume says so!" Yelled Max, as he began to calm down.

"Can you present it?" Asked the judge.

"Well, no, it's not wi-"

"Then there is no proof, now court is ended," said the judge. Max stared at him dumbfounded. We were then taken out and into a van, we were told to stay put.

"Ugh, I can't believe it!" Max yelled. Joe and Henry sighed, I was growling, Tom was quiet. Jacob was in deep thought, trying to register what just happened.

"Believe it Max, this is our world isn't it? I mean, seriously, a lot of people are corrupted, due to the war that's going on," Tom said, breaking his silent streak.

"I know, but can't we have better judges, I mean seriously what the hell!?" Max said. Tom sighed.

"We can't do anything now," he said.

The present...

"So that's what happened..." Rainbow said, having a regretful look.

"Yeah, I honeslty don't ever want to go back ever again," I said. Joe, Jacob, and Max nodded in agreement.

"I didn't know my Maxy could even cuss!" Pinkie said.

"Well, I don't do it anymore, because I'm not ticked off," Max said. I nodded and then Pinkie got out a pinata from her mane. I didn't question it, due to the fact that I have indeed seen weirder things pulled out from there before. Rainbow tugged on my shirt and I looked at her.

"Sorry for asking," Rainbow said. I nodded, signaling it was okay. I had fun at the party, I think Fretus, Ivory, and Applecake had fun too. When we went home, Fretus was telling me all about the conversation, fun, and games they had. It was soon time to go to bed, and we all said good night before falling into the deep world of sleep.

I sighed when I was working in the lightning room. A machine was supposed to apparently do more than it should have. Some idiot had apparently accidentally spilled some jam into the machine. I was wondering why jam of all things made it stopped. It's not even lunch break yet! I shrugged it off soon as I faced the most dangerous part of my job. This room could have millions of problems. I got down and looked at the circuitry and started replacing all the damaged parts of the machine. I was scared. If I made one wrong move, I would either die or be seriously injured. I heard hoof steps and looked over to see the new guy at the job. He had spike brown man with a lighter brown coat, with an hour glass for a cutie mark. His name was Doctor Whooves.

"Hey Doc! Can you give me a hoof here?" I asked. He nods.

"Yes sir Mr... Sam was it?" He asked. I nodded. He smiles and walks over. He points out that some of what I did was wrong. When I started placing a wire in place, the doctor's eyes went wide and tried to stop me. I then saw blackness.

I opened my eyes, curse the bright sun!!! I yawned and got up. My sister should be running to me any second now.

"Sam? Sam are you okay?!" Asked a feminine voice. I opened my eyes to see something blue and have rainbows. I think my sister went overboard.

"Betsy, don't draw on yourself, I dunno how you got sky blue, but please don't," I said as I went back down to sleep. I was shaken up by the same sister I didn't want to deal with.

"Sam snap out of it!" Almost yelled the same voice. I felt my heart stop when I realized it wasn't my sister. I cracked an eye open, which turned wide when I saw some sort of horse with wings.

"What.The.Fuck," I said slowly. The horse gave me a confused look. "Corry!" I yelled. I didn't hear an answer. "CORRY!!!" The horse shook its head and grabbed me.

"Sam, who's Corry?" It asked. I felt my heart skip five beats and I ran like hell. I was running fast. I had just opened a window, jumped through, land on a roof and start jumping and running from roof to roof. It reminded me of a game called Vector, but I didn't care and kept running. I then jumped, and screamed when I saw no more roofs. I was then jerked up. I looked up to see some sort of rope, instead I see the same blue horse. I screamed and got away from it's grip. I landed, and ran. I was then met with the first person I wanted to see.

"Jacob! I'm either high or screwed up in the head, but a blue horse with wings is chasing me!!!" I yelled shaking him. He stopped me and looked at me strangely.

"Sam, are you talking about Rainbow Dash?" He asks. It's my turn to look at him strangely.

"The hell's a rainbow dash?" I asked. He then went wide eyed.

"You know, your wife?" He asked cautiously. I went wide eyed.

"Was I drunk or something I mean what the hell!?" I yelled. I noticed he was carrying my pack. I grabbed it and rummage through it. I found my pistol and pulled it out.

"Since when in hell did your pack have a gun!?" He yelled back. I saw the blue horse and pointed the gun at it. I feel my heart pounding. Jacob hits my arm, making me miss my shot, and punches me in the face. I stumbled back astonished. I aimed again none the less. The pegasus thing stopped.

"S-Sam?" It asked shakily. I was terrified. I kept backing up.

"How do you know my name?!" I asked. It started hovering to me but I yelled more fiercely. "Answer me. How the hell do you know my name!?" I asked. It looked at me in shocked.

"Y-you don't remember?" She asked. I kept my gun up. I fired a warning shot at the ground, making her flinch.

"Answer me dammit," I said. It started tearing up.

"Sam, calm do-" Jacob was cut off when I point the gun at him then back at the horse. I then felt a pain on my face as I saw a fist. I woke up again in the same hospital room. I looked around. My friends are there. I had a confused look.

"Um, hey guys, why am I in a hospital?" I asked. Jacob just shook his head. Max sighed.

"Do you remember what happened?" He asked looking at me. I shook my head. They all looked at each other worriedly. I don't like this.

"Sam, do you know where you are?" Tom asked.

"Um, freaking America? Land where people can be idiots?" I asked. They shook their heads. "Britain?" I asked. Some of the stuff here is fancy. They shook their head. "Paris?" I asked. They groaned and looked at me.

"This is Equestria," Max said.

"... What the hell's Equestria?" I asked. They grimaced as I sat in confusion. A horse walked in and I nearly screamed. "Does anyone else see the rainbow horse?" I asked. They all nodded. My eyes shrank. "So... Um, what's your name?" I asked her. She looked like she just got slapped in the face.

"My name's Rainbow Dash," she answered. I nodded.

"Why were you chasing me?" I asked. She frowned even more.

"I wanted to see if you knew anything or not," she said. I nodded.

"Why are you visiting me?" I asked. She looked like she was slapped twice.

"Because, I needed to know how you were feeling!" She said almost yelling. I scooted back a bit.

"Why would you care?" I asked. She looked down.

"Because you are special to me," the rainbow horse said. I was kind of shocked by this but I nodded understanding.

"Well, thank you for answering some of my questions," I said. She smiled a little bit. "Now don't let me be a pain in your flank, you can go," I said. She shook her head.

"Buddy, I'm staying with you," Rainbow Dash said. I was shocked by this.

"Why?" I asked.

"You're special," she answered. I smiled. The others had gone while me and Rainbow Dash have been talking. I don't know why, but I feel like I'm connected to her some how.

"Well, where I come from, I'm not really special," I said. She tilts her head.

"Really?" She asks. I nod.

"Yeah, I'm usually just 'the weird guy' where I was from," I said. She chuckles.

"Well, if you have any other questions, ask me," she said.

"I do have this one question, how long have I been in this place?" I asked.

"Including being outside of the hospital, 2-3 years," Rainbow answered simply. I tilted my head.

"Is my family okay?" I asked. Rainbow panicked, but smiled.

"Yes, they are fine," she lied. I sighed in relief. I soon fell asleep in my hospital bed, peacefully.

I don't know what happened, but apparently I have been hit with some sort of lightning electrical thingy. The side effects from it was that it affected my frontal lobe. It made it delete memories or something like that. The horse-doctors said I should recover in eight or nine weeks, due to how much memory I lost. Rainbow Dash came by again, she had a little colt with her.

"Hello Mr Sam," the blue colt asked.

"Hello, you can just call me Sam," I said smiling. The colt had a confused look but shrugged it off.

"Okay, my name's Fretus Wing!" He said smiling at me. I nodded. Rainbow seemed to be sad. I don't know why though. She only said that I wasn't really ready for her to tell me anything. Fretus was nice, he was smart too. I felt like I should feel something, but I tried to not be distracted by my thoughts when he started a conversation.

"My day at school today was good! I met some cool fillies and colts there as well! I had an awesome lunch of a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.," He kept talking as I listened. "I also passed my first test today!" I gave him a bro fist/hoof.

"Awesome job!" I said as he bro fisted/hoofed me back. Rainbow smiles at the fact that I act like a kid. Soon they had to leave, so I said goodbye as they left. A dark colored stallion with a blue Mohawk entered the room.

"Hey dude!" He said. I waved.

"Um, hey, my name's Sam, what's yours?" I asked. He gave me a confused look then made an oh shape with his mouth.

"My name's Thunderlane. I'm one of your coworkers!" He said. I smiled.

"Ah, sorry that I didn't recognize you, I have a bad amnesia so I don't remember much," I said shrugging. He frowned but smiled again.

"Well I'm also one of your friends, I'll be visiting with a mare named Cloudchaser and another stallion named Bonebeat okay?" He said. I nodded. "So what's it like being in a hospital?" He asked.

"It sucks, the food I eat tastes like it's stale," I said shrugging. He chuckles.

"Well, do you have any questions by the way?" He asked.

"Yes, do I have a job here?" I asked.

"Yeah, you work as an engineer at a weather factory," he said. My eyes went wide.

"A weather factory?" I asked. He nods. I grabbed my head. "Why would we need a weather factory?" I asked.

"Well, our physics in Equestria is different than Earth's, or at least that's what you told me," he said. I stared in disbelief.

"Well, at least I know why lightning struck me," I said. He nods. He looks at the clock.

"Uh oh, I got to go, hope you feel better!" He said while rushing out. I sighed, being alone. I started snoring before I heard a knock on the door. I looked up to see my human friends. Tom has a horrified look. I think I'm going to like this.

"Hey Sam, you okay?" Jacob asked. I nodded.

"Why does Tom look like The Scream?" I asked smiling.

"Well, after Max asked Pinkie to marry him, Twilight had pointed out every consequence that would befall him if Pinkie or Rainbow have another broken heart. All I can get out of it was that it horrified him to the point where it scared the crap out of him," Jacob answered. I laughed.

"So, Max is married to who now?" I asked. He explained to me that Pinkie is a party animal, literally at first I was going to ask when I would meet her when a pink blur flashed into my room.

"Hiya Sammy! How are you? Are you well enough for a party!?" Asked a voice that sounded like it came from a someone who had too much coffee.

"Um... What?" I asked slowly. A pink pony, Pinkie as I presumed, was bouncing up and down.

"Pinkie, calm down, Sam, this is Pinkie," Max said, gesturing to Pinkie. I waved slowly with fear on my face. Her tail twitched, knees wobbled, scratched her mane, and gasped. She moved my hospital bed two inches left. Before I could ask why, a beam missed me by two inches.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" I yelled. A pony who's purple, has wings and a horn walks in.

"Um, Twi-" Tom started.

"Shut the buck up Tom," said the purple pony both me and Tom were terrified of. She was glaring at me. "Look here, I don't know if this is some sort of sick joke from life or something, but you better bucking remember everything you son of a-"

"Okay, calm down Twilight, he didn't mean to have amnesia," Jacob said, cutting Twilight off. She glared at me again before grunting and walk out. I was holding onto my bed. For a pony, she's scary as hell! "Sorry, that's Twilight," Jacob said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Was I her mortal enemy?" I asked still terrified. He shook his head. "I want to keep it that way," I said. Most of them laughed or chuckled. We had a conversation and once they all had to go I waved bye.

It has been a week since then, and so far, Thunderlane visited with a yellow bat pony, Bonebeat and a purple pegasus, Cloudchaser. They were both very nice. Rainbow always visited. Sometimes she visited while Fretus was at school. I soon met the rest of the Mane Six too. Twilight never showed up, but she sent letters. Today was Monday. I hated Mondays. I was snoring when my door creaked open and Fretus stepped inside with Rainbow. Fretus closed the door behind him. I woke up and saw Fret us holding a get well picture. Soon, Rainbow was asleep and me and Fretus had a conversation.

"Hey Fretus?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you have a dad?"

"Uh, yeah I have a dad, but he can't be with us."

"Why?"

"My mom said that he had to get something, and that he'll be back!"

"Really? What is it?"

"I don't know, mom won't tell me."

"Maybe..." Acting-like-a-ten-year-old powers ACTIVATE!!!! "He's secretly a pirate!" Fretus chuckle
"Yeah! Or maybe, he's an undercover agent, dun, du-du-dun, dun," he made action music with his mouth and I smiled. He jumped onto my bed like a ninja. I tickled his arm pits and he started giggling uncontrollably.

"Tickle fight!" I said as we tickled each other to death. He's a good tickler. Soon Rainbow woke up seeing us immersed into tickle-fun-madness! She chuckled.

"I see you two are having fun," she said as we both jumped at her sudden voice. She looked at the clock. It's 12:47 in the afternoon. "Sorry Sam, Fretus and I have to go," she said as me and Fretus groaned like little kids. She rolled her eyes and waved as she and Fretus left. I sighed. I am bored as heck. I got up. I could walk around to go to the bathroom, stretch my legs, or get a snack. I went to get a snack. I soon bumped into someone. I looked down to see a pale blue pegasus with a navy mane. He had a lightning bolt with wings as a cutie mark. He looked up and gasped.

"You!?" He said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Um, hello?" I said. His eye twitched. He had broken his wing apparently.

"Why are you here!?" Asked the angry looking stallion.

"Well, I have amnesia since I was struck with lightning," I said. He laughed.

"Wow, I knew I'd get revenge, but I think life did it for me!" He said. I tilted my head.

"Do I know you?" I asked. He nodded.

"My name's Soarin, you took my mare friend away from me," he said. I gasped.

"Oh crap I'm so sorry!" I said. He had a confused look at first, but he soon nodded.

"Well, apology accepted, how much do you remember?" He asked curious.

"Almost nothing, just my life before I got to Equestria," I said. He smiles.

"Well, I think you should not be around here," he said. I tilted my head.

"Um, why?" I asked.

"Well, you were not a good person, you were rude, sloppy, and you had a wanted ad," I looked at him dead-panned. I then had a flash back.

In flashback...

I was chuckling when I got to my office. I tapped him on the shoulder, he looks up and yelps. "You're in my seat," I said dead-panned.

"You got friend-zoned!" I mouthed, Soarin glares at me.

I realized who the guy in front of me was.

"You're that guy who tried to get a mare friend," I said. He nods. "That and I definitely wasn't a friend for yours," I added eyeing him. He chuckles nervously. Soon we had a conversation, turns out I was his enemy as soon as he left a date with a black eye. I patched everything up with him and soon we actually became friends. I went to bed early since I didn't feel good. I felt better after some sleep. I had another memory.

I screamed as I fell through the sky. Something caught me! Thank God almighty! I looked up to see my savior, and saw a cry an horse with wings. My eye twitched and I screamed and fell. I got caught again and saw the horse again. Am I high?

"Hey dude, are you suicidal?" It asked. I felt my breath stolen and saw darkness.

I realized that Rainbow saved me on day one of Equestria. I wanted to think maybe that's why I feel connected to her. It didn't fit to me though. I sighed and kept sleeping, hoping to remember more in the future.
