Chapter One: I Know My Mistake
The rainy sky was a deep blue that fateful day. That day was when things went horribly wrong. I hung my head in shame as I walked down the street, allowing for my clothes to get wet, drops falling from the tip of my no longer pointy hair. I walk along Sugar Cube Corner, silent as it if were a ghost town. What do I do now? I probably made her felt like if I didn't care about her. Sunset, I do care about you! I, I know what the pain feels like.....I" I thought as my shoes feel heavy. I already know why, but the real concern is, where am I heading? Then a faint voice catches my ear, it sounds awfully familiar. Ah, should have known.
"Hey Mid! Where are you? Don't make me go look for you! I know I will find you! We have to talk to you!" a scratchy voice comes from a few yards away. I'd recognize the athlete's rainbow hair any day.
"Rainbow don't. This is my problem, and I have to face them. Apologizing just won't be enough. Rainbow, I appreciate the help you've given me, but this time, you can't do anything. I'm sorry, Dash, so sorr-"
A tear forms in my eye after what I said, then started running away, hearing that the cyan blue girl wants to give in a race, noticing by the splashes on the puddles. I don't know why Rainbow picks to run after me, probably one of the only good things I do Rainbow can't do. Run. I run three times as fast, and she always wants to top that. I ran, not aware of what was in front of me, the wind getting stronger, pushing against my face as the raindrops explode in my face and my body. I'm shivering, but can still run. I ran to a stop on the street, but decide not to wait, I turn to the side and continue, only to feel an agonizing pain in my head. I start to get dizzy, and my world is getting black. As I fall to the ground, I notice that I hit a street pole, not realizing I had run all the way to the other street. As I fall I see blue cyan hands, and crimson and gold hair. She followed me. She came through all that trouble, the storm, the heavy rain, I mean she could've catch a cold. All for me. A cold hearted, mean, insensitive jerk like me. Why Sunny, why! After the cruel prank I did, you're still willing to forgive me? Maybe you're so desperate for love that you don't want me to leave? Or do you really love me! Man, what was I even thinking! Having a girl as beautiful, as kind, as shy that she sometimes is,(which in my opinion makes her even cuter than she could already be.) I didn't know what was going to happen next. All I knew a regular 'sorry' won't do. Nope. Something big. But that've be when I wake up, knowing as my eyes closed as well as noise getting weaker and weaker. And my world got black, very black.
"Well, Ms. Shimmer we have good news. He's awake, and is now his breathing is back to normal. If anything, click the big red button on the control that says 'nurse'."
"Okay, doctor. Thanks!" Sunset said and rushed to room 13-0 and opened the door. She had a happy feeling they would fix things: he would tell her something romantic like he always did. But something was wrong. Something was very, VERY wrong. He wasn't there! Faint glow of blue magic surrounded the top of the bed, along with a note. Sunset felt tears running through her cheeks as they fell endlessly on the floor. She sped through the hospital, only to be followed by her friends, who did not question her sudden departure. She read the note, and just like that, had an instant reaction. Magic was in this world, and he knew how to use it. Which could only mean he could he use it....Oh no, Mid, I know it was heavy, but, please, we'll fix things, as long as it doesn't happen again! I swear! The medics were confused to all of a sudden see a glimpse of a girl with amber skin, with a light teal blue blouse with a deep black leather jacket, two yellowish-orange stripes ran across the sides of the sleeves of the jacket. Skinny blue jeans and some black boots finished the touch, along with semi curly hair. The medics tried to cool her off, but with no results. They then thought something had happened to the patient with the sore head, and they all rushed to the room 13-0, not fitting all at the same time (There were four medics trying to pass to one door, lol) and after that, jaws open, eyes as wide as plates, and shrieking as one called the security, calling for emergency check that a person was lost and possibly kidnapped. The rest of the gang, running hot at Sunset's trail.
"Sunset, what in tarnation has gotten into that boy's mind? What, yall think he don't like Sunset no more?" Applejack said in a worried tone.
"Oh goodness, that'd be horrible, right Sunset?" Fluttershy recalled, only to see Sunset's face in more fear, and started to run faster.
"Sunset, darling?" asked Rarity.
Sunset wiped a tear forming in her eye, the water burning as she took a finger, running it across her left eye, then continued her search.
I had teleported mere feet away from Canterlot High's statue. Of course, the statue is no more, since after the Friendship Games incident. Gosh, why'd that even have to happen? Man, I almost lost Sunset to Twilight after that one! Geez, weird. Anyways, the rain was as fierce as it could ever portray; wind had me shivering to death, I absolutely loathed the cold. Something about it and Sunset's crimson-gold hair that had me on point. The sudden thought of her beautiful hair sends a shiver running down my spine, making me feel an unanticipated warmth around me. I loved Sunset, yes, with all of my heart, but I felt like a total buzzard. No, not the bird. The other one. Yep. I mean, doing that mean of a prank to your beloved? Are you insane! Why! I afterwards slowly walked to the portal, and then lurched, rapidly backing away from it. What was I possibly doing! I could never, EVER, leave my Sunny! But even still, staying would mean I'd have to apologize, and I don't want to........I....made....her cry...I did, and that is horrible. Seeing Sunset cry, for me, is well, a mixture of pure sorrow and anger, with mercy and pity in it. I know, their all the same thing, all those describe one thing I feel for Sunset: mercy.
Not just now, ever since I met her. She wanted something, realized it was wrong, and after her defeat, no one liked her, except for her friends. They all thought she'd be fine. Oh HELL no, she wasn't. She was sad, and I just felt, pity for her. I knew she had changed, and even if she didn't, well, I'd died then and there, knowing I had the courage to face my love, my fear, taking the advice Luna gave me. But this wasn't a dream. This was real. And I knew it. Sighing, I took I picture of the portal, it's light shimmering in the dark, rainy day. After the photo was taken, I message Sunset, telling her nothing but the photo. One tap away. I sighed again. Just one tap away. 'You'll tell her where you are, what you're planning to do, and why you'll do it. One tap away...
I sent it. The storm raged and water poured, drenching me once again. Good thing my smartphone was waterproof! Then, the same rainbow hair appeared in my sight. She was waving her arms with all of her atletic might, yelling to talk about it. Nope. The last thing I wanted right now was to talk. Then, at that very fateful moment, that I stepped into the portal, REGRETTING it to this day. The look on her face was the last thing I saw. It hurt, hurt so, so bad. It was a look that said, "Please, don't leave me! I love you!"
Yet that was exactly what I did.

Chapter Three: Pinkie's War Zone
It was a wonderful morning in the city of Ponyville as Celestia gracefully raised the sun, making light everypony to see and to brighten your day. I drove myself lazily out of bed as my four hooves reached the ground, and left off to the bathroom. It's amazing how I managed to control my body on the two worlds. Heh, it wasn't so easy the first time.
Eight Months Ago...
"Ah, okay Twilight, collect and observe magic by going to this strange portal to take me a weird dimension. Am I right?"
"Yes, Mid, for the third time. Now go, but be careful, walking isn't going to be as easy. Don't say I warned you!"
"Aw come on Twi, how bad can it be...."
And after that, my body left Equestria into this new world. The first thing I did when I entered was to fall on my face. I thought I was going to be a bigger version of myself, but this, this was different. My what so called muzzle was tiny and insignificant. My mane was cut of my back, and more dark blue hair surrounded my head. I had only two hooves, the two front legs were replaced by skinny legs, and with long, turning claws just like Spike's but much, much, more rounded. I felt exposed without my mane and tail, but the worst thing was trapped in so much clothes. It was suffocating, even worse that the day Rarity tried to put me in a nice outfit, to * impress** the ladies. I mean, like seriously, maybe at least look for someone yourself instead of pushing other people into it. But all wrapped in clothes, and then more clothes, leather armor to be exact. It felt heavy, and was the color of my other armor I wore as a guard, just without the extra clothes underneath. My strange front hooves were retractable! Which meant I could grasp items like Spike without having to use my horn! Oh, OH no my horn! God Dammit. It was the strangest thing in the world, apart from Twilight's craziness times when she tried to find a friendship problem but failed miserably at it.*
But that's in the past so let's not mention the last bit. As I was saying, a wash in my face gotta wake me up, and so I did. As my face struck the mirror, I realized about the situation with Sunset, the scar that I gave her as I left her world. Great. Dread filled me as I worried in within my thoughts, then a wonderful idea came into mind. Slowly I crept across the crystal castle, and peeked the door whose room belonged to Twilight and Spike, to an inspection on whether they were awake or not. Great. She's asleep, but Spike's gone? Hmm, let's see, I skid through the room and my eyes lock on the exact thing I was looking for. Twilight's magical book. Twilight shifted a bit, which got me to almost have an aneurisma as she moved to face the opposite direction of me. I was scared she found out I was messing with her personal items, and kicked me out of the castle. Anyways, I crept out of her room, and reached for a feather. After that I searched for some ink, but stopped in midway of my room to think of my absurness. What was I going to tell Sunset? Should I pretend to be Twilight and be decent? Or should I give it away and tell her it's me? I then thought of her book, with a grand yellow and red sun mark on it. Twilight's was just a plain brown. I got to my senses when my nose caught a particular smell, which was in fact Spike cooking breakfast. Eggs frying, and toast in the kitchen. Meh. I 'll do it later. Tossing the book under the bed, I run down the stairs, to greet Spike, but a quick thought ran through my mind halfway through the stairs. What if she finds the book? What will she think of me hiding secrets with her personal tools? Meh, she can't find out, it's under my bed! Well, let's get going, and wrap this up once and for all.
One thing, on the other hoof, is how bad my situation with Sunset and I got a million times worse.
"She spent all day bawlin' her eyes out for no good reason! I mean, what in tarnation has gotten into her mind?" Applejack started, trying to get the other girls attention.
"Oh my, I don't ever think I would go crazy like that, even if it were with my animals." responded a quiet and shy Fluttershy.
"Then whatever are we waiting for darlings, lets go confort Sunset!" called and eager Rarity.
"With one exception, Rares. How in the hay do we know were welcome in there?"
"Well, I suppose we start easy, then if not, we insist properly."
"Insist properly? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Well, just follow my lead."
"Hmm. Well, if anything happens, I'll blame you. Got that?"
"Okay, fine, let's just get this overwith."
The room was dark and gloomy. The lights were off, the apartment looked vacant, and abandoned, there were also shattered ceramic plates on the floor. A kitchen knife was on the kitchen counter, and a cup of water was half empty as well. Sunset was in her room, cuddled up in a bundle on the corner of the room, her head buried in her legs, quietly sobbing, her whimpers just like whispers, it was a pain to hear. She heard whispering, and slowly raised her head up to notice her friends, Applejack stretching her hand to help Sunset up, but all she did was sink her head again back to her knees, with an expression of hurt in her large, teal eyes.
"Darling, don't play peek-a-boo with us, and now tell us, what's wrong?"
"I don't want to talk right now, I miss him, miss him very much.."
"Aw, sugarcube, ah know there are some' floks out there that can easily-"
"SHUT UP APPLEJACK! LIKE IF YOU KNOW!" and with that, Applejack fell onto the floor, wheezing in pain as she realized that, clenched teeth, heavy breathing, and fingers pressed was Sunset, as she glared at the two girls who were petrified, in this case, Fluttershy and Rarity. She looked into her purse, hair a mess, and anger filling her, she took her phone and swiped to Pinkie's text.
"What's this! Talk!" she ordered, as then she felt herself on the floor, hands pinned tight by the grasp of Applejack. Her stetson hat was still on the floor, and was by means, way stronger that Sunset. Sunset wasn't a frilly girl like Rarity, but didn't work out like Applejack, so practically she was weak.
"Listen yall, ah didn't wanna do is', but you left me no choice but to do this, the apple way. This oughta calm you down." Applejack said, and punch after punch she left Sunset knocked out, no blood, but knocked out. She was unconscious, and after her cute face fell to her chest, Applejack felt sorrow and regret.
"Darling you overdid yourself."
"Well, what was ah supposed to do! She punched me!"
"That doesn't you can sleep the poor girl. She's suffering enough. Should we take her to the hospital?"
"Um, if you can, please lidten to what I need to say. We can try calming her down and try to wake her up. I heal a lot of animals, you know."
"Bring it up Fluttershy."
Tears fell from both of my eyes as I tried to hide it from Twilight, with no success, Spike had to ruin everything, and soon enough I'm running back to the portal.
"Mid don't do this we can work something out! Stop!"
"Twilight don't you dare use magic or-" and I was teleported to Twlight, so I used magic to reach the portal immeadiatly.
The wondercolt statue was glowing, and I popped out, only to see Nights there.
"Nights! What are you doing here-"
"Mid , I know. I told her a lie to help you with some time for a proper apology. Unfortunately, Pinkie sent Sunset a text that got her into rage, and she puched Applejack."
"What! And did they calm her down! And what did Pinkie say!"
"No Mid, Applejack had to pin her to the floor and beat her up. The girl's face is hanging on her chest, and Fluttershy is trying to wake her up."
Instant rage hit me now. No one, and I mean NO ONE, lays a hand on my Sunset. Not even I. So why should I let Applejack get away like that!
"C'mon, we have to go see!" I ordered, but Nights was just standing there, not doing anything.
"Mid, I can't. I have a date with Octavia, and she should be coming in Vinyl's car. Also, look." He responded me, showing a black box, with an enormous ring inside it.
"Hehe Nights, Congrats!" I happily respond, but now I see his worry. "Don't worry Nights, with a guy as strong as you, with a gentle and nice heart, I bet you've got her captured since the day you saw your family was alive."
"You think so?" he asked, with a nod from my head as a response. And so I head off to the jewelry shop, buy something Sunset had her eye for a long time, the BIGGEST box of chocolates I could find, and flowers that represent her gorgeous hair I admire everyday. I knock on the door, not to mention that I got happy looks from a bunch of people around, with some claps and cheers, which I ignored. Rarity opened, mouth wide open as everyone else. I think Rarity was more stunned because of the teal diamond than the actual me, but I'd care less. Then, after settling my things on the coffee table, I greet Fluttershy, then softly move her aside to see Sunset in bed. She was asleep, and Applejack's hands marked firmly on her delicate cheeks.
"Applejack how could you!"
"Listen, she was crying and then out of nowhere, you come out and just like that you-"
"If anyone, anyone touches MY Sunset, whether the circumstance is, I will be there, and I promise to anything holy that they will pay. You got that, Applejack!" I say in a deadpan tone. She then grabs her gloves, invisible of couse, and gets in her position.
"You wanna fight me, boy? There is a rule that boys can't hit girls, but as far as am are concerned, ah don't care. So bring it up!" She orders, and the battle begins. She throws in some punches, and has that amazing hope that ever so slightly could make her win, but for 16 years I've fought, and my skills could kill her, so, I just do it to show her a lesson. I throw a punch back, and it hits her, and she tries to hit me back, so I got her hand and twisted it till she fell on the floor wheezing in pain, saying, "You win! I'm sorry for hitting Sunset, You win!" and then I go on her bed, and cry. My whole life is very worthy to her, but I've done very little to earn that. Then, it strucks me. I know exactly what to do! Running, I go to the transparent box I left next to the chocolates, and it's not there! Of course, the diamond freak had to take it again.
"So shiny....."
"Rarity give me that! I need it so I......." and a crimson adorns my face, as the three girls are ooing and cheering. Which in fact then lets me hear something faint. Sobbing. Small, soft, but sobbing that penetrates my heart.
Sunset was crying, and she woke up.

Chapter Four: The Last Night
Evening struck, and all I want is to fix things with Sunset, to then my plan. I mean, I pretty much owe her my love to her. The rain had stopped since I had come, and Sunset was knocked out by Applejack. My armor was starting to get heavy, so I took my double edge swords and lay them on the side of the wall. Then my head band, chesplate, and my leggings, which expose my heavy jeans. My boots are dry, so I dont have to remove these, and then the idea struck to me, and run to look for the sapphire in the white box. Of course, the diamond freak had to have it. I take it from her and leave a hint so obvious that Derpy could understand, and fom the long time that passed and the ooing and the cheering from the three girls, Sunset had woken up, and teared away, as if what she did when I was with Twilight wasn't enough. Everyone turned around, and she didn't even dare to turn around. Then, in a low voice, she spoke.
"Applejack, what did you do to me?"
"Sunset, are you okay!" I then say.
"Mid! Please, can you, can, can....you forgive m-me?"
I run up to her and hug her tight, never wanting to loosen from her embrace. She hugs back, and then her eye gets attracted to the stuff on the coffee table, and she asks.
"What's that, and where did you go!"
"I'm sorry, but I have some surprises for you, and tonight I want to take you to dinner. That okay? I will do my best to show you that I am the man for you. Never would I want for anyone to regret you or hit you, since you are not worthy to receive hits."
"Really! Can I pick the restaurant!"
"Sure."
"Ohhh! Can I pick!" screamed a high pitched voice from the closet.
"PINKIE!"
"What! I didn't do anything?"
"Pinkie what did you send me! You told me Midnight didn't want to do anything to me, and that Nights lied!"
"He lied!" I said, flabbergasted.
"I was just kidding! It was going to, my Pinkie sense told me!"
"Your sense only works for some stuff Pinkie!" I told her, slightly annoyed. She deepened this mess, and now, she was going to pay. The dinner was for just the two of us.
We got ready, and to tell you the truth, Sunset looked great. Her new jacket was better, and her teal blouse fit perfectly those teal eyes I so adored. I had given $300 dollars to Applejack, for some preparations, and she said she was okay with it. Pinkie had to do a lot of work, but she said it was okay with it. Sunset chose a heavy restaurant, after maybe an hour of presuading Sunset money didn't really matter. Our food consisted of fish, and really good spaghetti that went along well. After that, we didn't want to go home since the apartment was 3 miles away, and since it was in my plan to stay, we rented 3 nights at a hotel. We played on the console for a bit, watched TV in the couch, and then Sunset had the 'brilliant' idea on how to make this date much more romantic. For an hour to come, we fell asleep both on a hammock outside in the porch, watching the stars. It was very comfortable to nuzzle Sunset's body, and so we cuddled for about half an hour, then we were deeply asleep. A short gush of wind moved the hammock, and we both fell, I on top of Sunset which made us both blush. She went back inside, and I called Applejack, and she said she was ready, the flowers were in place.
"Maybe, hmm, 10 more minutes?"
"Sure, just hurry up."
''Okay, and how about the fireworks?"
"Perfect. Ah think were done here, come an show er'."
"Great. See you there!" and I hang up as Sunset started biting her lip in a seductive kind of form as she was laying in bed. Whatever she's thinking, tonight's gonna be rough.
"Let's play, please!"
"Not now Sunset, there's something outside and you have to see it. Now go put on your clothes and come."
"Why! Oh but we are banging tonight! Right!"
"You're in heat, aren't you?"
"The hammock incident kind of turned me on."
Okay, now Sunset is coming, and the ring is in my pocket. I gently take it out, and there it sparkles. It goes in my hand as the flowers are well placed, and everything is perfect. My heart is throbbing, she might say no.
"Ok Mid, here I am!" and she strikes a pose. Daww, no one could avoid smiling with the way she went.
"It's there."
She looked out the porch, and on the street, were hundreds of flowers, lots and lots, each in a row of red and yellow, saying, "Sunset Shimmer Will You Marry Me!" and a buch of fireworks fly from the sky, making it a wonderful night. Tears of joy stream in her cheeks, and she turns around to where I am, and she cries even more as she see me on my knees, holding her favorite ring of all times from the store, and I look straight into her large teal eyes.
"Sunset Shimmer, I love you and always want to be be with you. Will you marry me?"
Her beautiful smile on her sweet face was my answer I was looking for.

Chapter Five: A Chapter Far From Over
That night was the most happiest day of my life. The wind blew a in a soft rhythm, landing softly in our faces as we marveled at the wonder of the stars, the beauty in the moon itself, and the coolness of the night. Nothing could possibly ruin this moment, as the sun set down, tinting the sky dark, like a large bottle of ink splattered across the sky, in which all us humans have to do is try. This world and the other doesn't matter. For all I know, we are another dot in the universe just to splatter. Now, well, why is it, that we can call my happiness? Two hours ago, it happened. What happened? That memory will flood my head for the rest of my life.
Two hours ago...
She looked out the porch, and on the street, were hundreds of flowers, lots and lots, each in a row of red and yellow, saying, "Sunset Shimmer Will You Marry Me!" and a load of fireworks fly from the sky. Tears of joy stream in her cheeks, and she turns around to where I am, and she cries even more as she see me on my knees, holding her favorite ring of all times from the store, and I look straight into her large teal eyes.
"Sunset Shimmer, I love you and always want to be be with you. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
Tears once again form in her eyes, and with a hug she yells, "Yes! Yes! Yes! Forever yes! I do love you! Yes!"
She then looks up to my face, and she plant her soft marshmallow lips onto mine. Fireworks fly from the sky as the darkness in the black celestial roof gets illuminated with thousands of lights, the fireworks displaying grand color into the emptiness of the sky. After the wonderful bliss, I insert the ring in her finger, and to my relief, it fits her perfectly, as if it were meant for her. My last surprise came in a paper bag, with a neat logo, and when I present it to her, her eyes go wide. We went inside, after a long kiss and a wonder at the fireworks, and I lead her to a kitchen to a large black bottle of Jack Daniels.
"What do you say, honey? Cheers?"
"Um..we aren't old-"
"Baby, 18 is the age for the consume of this, and I'm pretty sure we qualify for that."
"I'm barely 18."
"But still you are, aren't you? And I just so happen to be a year and a half older that you, so yeah, I had no trouble buying this if you're going to ask."
"Are you sure about this hon?"
"Let's just not overdo ourselves, shall we?"
"Indeed we should."
"But I'm sleeping on the couch tonight."
"What! Why!" She made that cute puppy that was getting scolded, and boy that face was impossible to ignore.
"You see, your heat and this beverage won't end up in something good.''
"But we are married! And we should, well, start sharing our love with one another-"
"This is our first night sleeping together then."
"Cause of you! You ALWAYS give me that speech that the man should respect the women and her privacy, blah blah blah, and now for once we should move that aside and do what married couples do!"
"That's since I take you for granted."
"Then don't!"
"Okay, okay fine, but no drinking tonight then."
"No! C'mon!"
"Either that or I'm sleeping on the couch."
"Why do you always do this to me! For once at least-"
I hate to see her argue with me, and this is the main reason couples break with each other. That is why I never, ever argue with her, and go along with the duel. I sigh, inhaling a ton of air, then slowly releasing it. Sunset doesn't deserves this! She deserves to be happy, even if that means skipping ahead my prize I was going to claim AFTER we got married 'married. If you know what I mean.
"You win. I won't sleep in the couch and we will enjoy the drink."
"Really! And you'll sleep with me?"
"Yes."
"And no sleeping on the couch unless I tell you to do so ever again?"
"Yes."
"And we'll snuggle all night long till we go to sleep?"
I breathe in and out slowly again, and give her the answer she was hoping for.
"Yes. I will do all those things and won't argue."
"Eeeeeh thank you!" and with that we both fall on the ground, and she then starts undressing my shirt, and I quickly stop her.
"No funny things tonight, got that?"
"Awww alright."
And that was how this night ended so delightfully, and we went outside, and we brought the large bottle with us to the hammock.
"So, how was it?"
"Horrible, but after a few tries, I guess it's worth the shot."
"Well, yeah, and....Oh my goodness we drank the whole bottle!"
"What!" Sunset yells, suddenly looking at the nearly empty bottle.
"Now what?" I tell her.
"It wasn't even good! How did we manage to drink it all? Well, we'll just have to try to hold it iiinnnn..."
Oh God no.
"Are you alright Sunny?"
"Let's just go to bed, okay?" She asks biting her lip in a seductive tone.
"Okay, but once again, no funny things tonight, alright?"
"Nah, don't w-worry!?" She suddenly perks up with a happy smile, again with the puppy smile, just this time, somethings intoxicating both of us, mostly her.
"You sure?"
"Y-yeah!"
"Pinkie Promise?"
Her smile dissapears into a dissappointed frown. I knew she was doing something fishy, so I went to the bottom of it straight away.
"Or did you have something else in mind?"
"Yeah....."
"So, what is it?"
"I........'m in heat badly. Really, I'm starting to freak out a bit."
"Can't you hold it till the day of our wedding?"
"NO! I CAN'T!"
"But still, Pinkie Promise me."
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
"Good. Now shall we go?"

As we went to the bed, a strange smell started pouring out. I liked it, but it meant Sunset was begging for love, since it was probably her internal fluids.
