Chapters First Impressions for a Shadow (Part 1)
"Principle Celestia and Luna, I can not thank you enough for this." said a young women as she bowed her head to the two women in front of her. Everyone knew how powerful Celestia and Luna are, they are the Princesses of this land and the principles of Canterlot High. They move the sun and the moon, no one can beat them. No one, but Discord, but it has been a long time since there last fight with him.
"No, no please raise your head. It is no problem, what are old friends for?" smiled Celestia. It was true they were friends every since they spent some many years trying to reform the school systems to be more productive. Still some things can not override the fear that came with standing before two goddess. "Besides, I have seen this boy's grade and he is brilliant. He may have had a hard past, but I am sure spending some time here will change him."
"I hope so, princess. I have watched over him for a long time. I know he can be hard to handle, but he honestly has a heart of gold." she said with a certain tone that made you think she was more or less trying to convince herself more than the princesses.
"Surely, this lad is not as bad as you make him out to be. I have seen many a man be changed from cold hearted monsters to gentle giants." said Princess Luna. She was giving a kind smile to the woman trying soothe the poor woman. When Luna saw the look in the eyes of the women, she could tell it would be serous. "Show us this boy, that has you so worried. He is here, is he not?"
"Yes, he is here Princess Luna give me a moment and I will get him for you." She turned toward the door and opened it and turned her head to the side and smiled, "Do you mind coming in here, Black Shadow the Princesses would like to see you." Black Shadow nodded. The man got up and easily toward over the women. He was 6' 7" and she was only 5' 10". When he stepped in, the Princesses were shocked, this boy was far bigger than they realized. "This Princesses is Black Shadow. Black Shadow please introduce yourself to the Princesses." said the woman, looking up the boy with a stern look, but they also held warmth and kindness in them as well.
"Yes, I suppose it is only proper and I have to repay my debt to you, Miss Happy Joy." He looked directly at the Princesses and bowed his head slightly, "My name is Black Shadow, I am 18 years old. I have no real hobbies or interests other than reading and working. I see no need in having friends." Celestia smiled lessen a bit.
"Surely, you jest boy. No one truly desires to be alone." said Luna hoping to change the boys mind. When Luna Looked into the boy's eyes she saw and blackness, an endless darkness that was seemingly devouring her. She tore her eyes away and looked really shocked, her body slightly trembling.
"Luna, are you okay?" asked Celestia. She had not seen Luna so fearful of a mere person. Luna looked up at her and she knew that Luna would not say anything in public, she would have to ask later on. She turned to Black Shadow, "Sorry for my sister's reaction. I hope you don't think ill of her."
"It is okay Princess Celestia, I get that reaction a lot." said Black Shadow with a blank tone, showing no emotion whatsoever. Celestia couldn't lie, something about the boy felt of. Snapping her out of thought, "Princess Celestia, is there anything else you need of me or may I be excused to continue my reading outside. " This gave Celestia the moment she needed to get her thoughts together and compose herself.
"Yes, you may go back outside do finish your reading. My sister and I just wanted to meet you today before you started school Monday." she smiled at him with the same warmth she gave everyone. Most people would return it with warmth in their voice as they responded, but the look that Shadow gave her sent a chill down the sun princess. He bowed once again and walked out the door, never making a sound even the normally squeaky door remained silent.
Celestia turned to Happy Joy,"I can see why you had asked me to enroll him here, that boy seems more dead than alive. I know that he is too old to be held by the state any longer and that you wished that he had somewhere to stay. I am more than happy to give him a room and all that he should require while he studies here." said, Celestia.
"The boy has had a hard life, the poor thing never knew his parents and he has had terrible luck with any foster home he has been in." said Happy Joy looking down tears threating to break through. "When I think about when I first saw him, I can't stop myself from shacking. He was nothing more than skin and bones and it looked like he hadn't showered in weeks." Celestia placed a hand on Happy's shoulder and said,
"You don't have to say anymore, we will do all we can for him. I know you care deeply for him, but it is time for us to take over. Besides if you wish you are always welcomed here." The warmth and sincerity of those words calmed down Happy to the point she could look up at the princess. Celestia could see her eyes were slightly red, but there was a small smile on Happy's face that showed how powerful the princess's words really were.
"O, thank you Princess Celestia. I will come by often to check on him." said Happy. After that she bowed one last time and turned way and walked towards the door and looked back one last time and gave a small wave. She then walked out the door and Luna looked at her sister.
"Sister, something is very off about that boy, he may be of the earth, but he has the chill of death lingering around him. It covers him like a blanket and his eyes feel like that can swallow all of my stars at once. Are you sure it is a good idea to let him join the school." Luna gave a pleading look toward Celestia.
"Yes, sister. I know it is for the best he join us here. I have very faith that this place can remove that shroud of death from him." Luna looked liked she wanted to argue, but kept her mouth shut. She knew her sister was normally right with these things. She silently prayed that nothing would go wrong when the boy finally became part of the school. She whispered,
"Dear Faust, keep a look out for our students, we only wish them love and happiness."
First Impressions for a Shadow (Part 2)
(Shadow's POV)
As we walked back down the long hallway, I just kept my head down and matched my past with Miss Happy Joy. I could tell their were a mixture of emotions in her right now, both joy and sadness. I guess the joy was about me getting accepted into this high school and the sadness from having to leave me here. I know I should say something either that I am going to enjoy my time here or that I wished that she could stay, but nothing felt important enough to say. After all I didn't like her, I only did what she said because of the debt I owe her. If it wasn't for that I would have left years ago. Suddenly, my vision was filled with something pink and what was worse was the loud, and I mean very loud and with such speed I barely understood the voice that came from some girl. It sounded something like this.
"Hey, are you new here cause I know all the people that live here, and I don't know you so that means you are new here." Then she gasps "That means I your new right." I simply nod my head and her smile growing so large I though it would reach from ear to ear. She then disappears in a cloud of pink and a trail of pink could be seen going down the hallway.
"Well that was interesting." I looked over to Happy Joy who was as equally puzzled by what just happened. "I thought you said this was a normal school not a place for lunatics. Granted it would make more sense for me if it was given they let me in." A sheepish grin was on her face. She could tell I wasn't amused by this pink person. I never much liked the color pink, but now I think I hate it much more.
"At least she is cute, right?" said Happy Joy. Honestly I didn't notice if that person was a girl, just the annoying voice and the pink, the seemingly endless pink. In response to her question I just gave her a cold flat stare that said,"I don't care. " She weakly chuckled, "I am sure that is the only person here that is like that, because in all my years I have never seen someone that happy before."
I simply rolled my eyes and continued down the hall leaving Miss Happy Joy behind, I stop and look behind me, "Are you coming, Miss Happy Joy. I would like to get moved in today if you don't mind." She realized that she was still standing there and quickly catch back up to me. I needed here to get me to my room and to sign the papers for my stuff from the movers so I couldn't let her be lost in her own little world which she does a lot.
"Sorry, it is just that I was thinking that she may have a severe mental illness or is on some kind of medication that gives her this energetic personality." said Miss Happy Joy. I almost laughed at that statement, I did crack one of my rare grins. Something that surprised her, "You are grinning!!!" My grin was quickly replaced with my usual black expression a moment later. "Aah, why you stop?" she looked at me with a pouting face, but I could tell that was her way of getting more emotions out of me.
"You know it surprises me that you are actually an adult given your childish behavior." I said with a slight bit a joking in my voice. "But enough of that lets be on our way, I know you have paperwork to do back at your office." I could see her shrink when I mentioned paper work, she hated it. I knew that was the only way to bring her back into line and get this over with. She told me that if I joined this school my debt to her would be gone, so the quicker she is gone the quicker I can finally be free.
"You're no fun." said Miss Happy Joy. She walked ahead on me leading me down the seemingly endless hallways up a long flight of stairs till he came to a old wooden white door that had my "mark" as I called it, sounded better than cutie mark to me. The mark was a black Spot in a seemingly otherwise white door. "Here you are, I will go down and wait for the movers, I will handle all the paperwork. You can rest for a bit or maybe go look around the school and talk to some people."
I knew which one she wanted me to do, so I simply walked back down the stairs and looked down both sides of the hallway in front of me. One was leading back to the pink "creature" and the other seemed to curve towards the back and I could smell fresh air coming from that way. So I headed towards the fresh air, I didn't have to walk long to see I glass door and on the other side was huge garden area. I could see fully grown trees, a small river, roses and many other flowers and even some animals. The best part was the cool breeze that came through it. I walked in and found a tree off to the side and laid on the grass. The tree kept the sun off of me and cool grass was making me sleepy. Suddenly I hear a loud scream coming from the far back left side of the garden.
"SHUT UP!!!" said a highly annoying male voice or I thought it was male it sounded so girly it could have been. I got up grumpy that my rest was being taken away from me by this person. I walked across the garden and I heard the scream again, I sped up my pace nearly running. I was wondering why I would care so much about something that didn't involve me, I thought I would have learned from the last time. I was snapped out of my inner thoughts as I arrived and saw a boy, on top of a girl with pink hair. She was being forcible pinned down and her shirt was already ripped.
"Help me, please." said the voice. It was filled with such fear and panic, but I don't think she saw me there. She was just hoping something would make the bad person go away. I felt the anger rise in me, something I didn't mind expressing. I loved my rage and hatred, but this felt different. It was cold and directed solely on this "man". I took my massive hand right hand and pulled me off and pushed him off to the ground. He didn't even have time to say a word as a punched him in the head, he was out like a light. I turned to look at the girl and she seemed to have fainted from the experience.
"It is alright, I got you Miss." I whispered in her ear. I took off my button up and but it on her, leaving me in my black undershirt. I carefully picked her up and started walking back out of the garden and back to the principle's office. As I walked down the hallway, I could feel the girl has shaking a bit, possible she was dreaming of her recent encounter she had. I was carrying her bridle style so I made tighten my hold a bit more in hopes that it would stop. I knew better than most what she is going through and it is never pretty, hopefully the principles can do something to help her.
When I reached their door I had to kick the door three times, because I didn't want to risk dropping her. Principle/Princess Luna answered, "What do you need for we, I am me." she looked down from my face and saw the girl in my arms and had a shocked expression. "What happened to her?" her eyes were filled with rage seeing her student hurt.
"I will tell you all I know, but first my I put her down somewhere she can rest." It came out more as a command, but the principle didn't seem to mind. She showed me to a small conjoining room that had a small couch on it. Once I set the girl down, I walked out with the principle and closed the door. I told her all that I knew including a description of the assailant. I was surprised that she knew who it was and even more surprised that it was their nephew.
"Blueblood has gone too far this time, I will not allow that insolent little brat to see the light of the sun or the moon for a thousand years." said Principle Luna as she walked around the office. "First I shall call Celestia and get her here immediately and after that I will teach him a lesson that he will never forget." I could see I was no longer needed so I got up and left, I doubt the principle noticed. I heard her through the door say, "Black Shadow? When did he leave?" I was too tired to care about this anymore so I left and went back to my room. I opened my room to notice all the boxes where stacked to the side and a note was on one. It was I note from Miss Happy Joy.
"I know this place will be good for you, just try to relax and don't get into any fights that will get you in trouble."

First Impressions for a Shadow (Part 3)
[center(Black Shadow POV)
It was a raining when I was crossing the open court yard that separated the dorms and facility building from the academic buildings. I didn't mind the rain, or the dark clouds above, unlike most I saw this as being more beautiful than the happy sun shine normal given to us. I was thinking over why I had helped that girl yesterday, I didn't get anything from it and she wasn't my type to begin with. So why did I help her? I passed by a tree and punched it with my left fist and I could feel the wood give way to my fist. When I removed my fist there was a clear imprint of it on the tree. I stared at my handy work a moment before I continued on my way to my first class Equestrian literature. When I got there I was a few minutes early so I grabbed a seat near the back and just my luck the light above me went out. This was so going to be my permanent spot. I saw as people began to file in, the last person in was the teacher which was an old man that looked to be in his 70's.
"Okay, class today his your first day has junior's so I expect good work from you all." his breathe was labored but it was steady. "I almost forgot we have a new student joining us today." "Shit!" I mentally said. I hate introducing myself anywhere, this is going to go so well. "Lets see is there a Black Shadow here with us?" asked the old teacher. As much I wanted to keep hidden his eyes soon spotted me. "Aw, you must be Black Shadow correct?" I simply nodded. "Well then go on an introduce yourself boy." I so wanted to leave but complied anyway.
As I stood a could see the shocked expressions I got from everyone. I was extremely tall and thanks to being an earth person I had a build like a tank. "My name is Black Shadow and I am only hear to learn. I have no interest in anything else or anyone else. I want I think will benefit me." Once I was finished I took my seat and looked at the teacher. My eyes telling him it was time to move on. As he looked into my eyes his body began to shake as my cold eyes bore into him.
"Thank you for your introduction." with that he went on with his lesson. He especially made sure not stare in my direction. I never took my eyes from my book. I could hear the teacher just fine which was enough for me to pass this class with an A. I was getting bored so I put my head on the desk and took and nap. It didn't matter to me what he was teaching, I already knew all of it. I had studied so much in my free time I could graduate from this school with honor's and graduate from a college at the same time.
I woke up when I heard the bell ring, I lifted my head up and noticed half of them were gone. Their were six girls all talking and I recognized one has the one that I had rescued yesterday. I was somewhat surprised to see her so soon. After my surprise faded, I was bored again and got my stuff and left the classroom. I turned left and walked down the hall and I happened to see Principle Celestia. I could see she was looking around for someone, I knew it was most likely me given what happened yesterday. I didn't care to talk to her so I walked on past her. I am so lucky that my special talent is blending in completely with my environment. I then her say,
"Twilight, I have a question to ask you. Have you seen a tall boy by the name Black Shadow today by chance." yep I was right. I better make my way to my next class. I rather not be noticed my anyone today or ever. When people start noticing me, bad things happen, and I mean very bad things. By this time I was too far away to hear her response. As I made my way through the crowds I just slipped past completely unnoticed. I even was able to swap a wallet from a girl with bacon colored hair. I didn't care that it was wrong, I was running low on cash. A minute later I heard a girl yell,
"SOMEONE STOLE MY WALLET!!!!" I was slightly disappointed that she figured it out so soon. I took the cash and left the plastic and I.D. and dropped them off in the LOST&FOUND bin the have placed all through out the school. I noticed as I was walking that the jocks weren't bullying the nerds, what is even weirder is that everyone seemed to know everyone. To say the least it was unnerving, this was a hostile environment if I ever saw one. I eventually made it to my Biology class as soon as the bell rang and found a seat in the back. Almost immediately the light went out above me and I smiled.I could get use to this, now alone if the classes weren't so boring.
Another short nap later I was out of Biology, the desk was much nicer than the other one, that or the fact I used my backpack as a pillow. Either way I was feeling pretty good, It was still raining not a speck of sunshine and a had two good naps. Yep, today was looking pretty good, was being the word. I saw out of the corner of my eye that same girl a saved looking for me in the crowd. I turned around and made my way against the crowd with a practiced ease. I was heading towards the cafeteria, I was hunger and I was told by Miss Happy Joy that they had a good hamburger.
Going through the line was easy enough, they made the burgers here big and they didn't skimp on the fries either. I grabbed a can of coke and made my way outside and walked over to the backside of the bleachers. I found a nice shady spot and sat down leaning my back against the side wall of the bleacher. I started to chow down on my lunch when I heard a voice say,
"Come on, how hard is it to find one guy, a new guy at that." said a tomboyish voice. I had the sneaking suspicion they were talking about me.
"Calm, down dear. Getting so worked up isn't going to solve anything. Besides from the Principle's description it shouldn't too hard to spot him in a crowd. I mean you heard her say the awful clothing he wears." Said now the extremely hated voice of someone that sounded so posh. "There is nothing wrong with my clothes. Just because I dress in black all the time doesn't mean my clothes are awful. I would love to go a round or two with you lady and see what you think of my steel toe boots.
"Rarity, ya know that ain't right to speak about someone behind their backs." said a strong country accent girl. I like this one already, much better than the last one. "Besides what is important is that this fellow saved Fluttershy, ain't that right Fluttershy?" So that is her name, I guess I should remember it.
I then heard an extremely soft voice that sounded like silk, "Well, I just wanted to thank him...um... for you know saving me and for ...giving me his shirt." I didn't understand why she sounded so embarrassed. It wasn't like I was wasn't were a shirt, then again I guess that my be part of her personality.
"What I find strange is the fact that Pinkie can't find him. You all know that Pinkie can normally find anyone, but she said that she could find him anywhere." said another voice. It sounded like the know it all type. I got real use to that voice thanks to my high grades. I was always stuck with them. They would always act like the teacher's pet, it got so annoying. Next thing I heard was the voice of the pink "monster" speak,
"I know it is so weird, normally I can find anyone and I mean anyone. I am the hide and seek champion for a reason. I just don't get it, maybe this person is a ghost and not an actually person maybe that is why we haven't seen him." I don't know whether to actually laugh at the stupidity of that thought or to actually dare to guess she is a genius in disguise because she isn't too far of the mark.
"Don't be silly Pinkie, I know he is real so he can't be a ghost. He must just be shy, yeah that has to be it." said the know it all voice. She couldn't be further from the truth, I am not the shy type. I am more of the abrasive type. I had enough and got up and walked back into the cafeteria to trash my garbage. As I walked back into the cafeteria, I heard the voice that belonged to a certain weakling known as Blueblood.
"There you are, you muscle brained piece of dirt. Did you think I wouldn't find you and make you pay for what you did to me?" His face was curled up in a stupid smile, then he pointed behind him and I saw he was pointing to three muscle bound people behind him. "I didn't feel the need to get my hands dirty so I asked these nice fellows to help me. Once I am finished with you then I pick up where I left from last time and this time you won't stop me.
I am not normally the kind to go out looking for fights, but man I was actually excited. It has been forever since I had I nice fight and this looked like it was going to be fun. I always keep my violent nature hidden, I will lose my self in the sea of pleasure and I won't stop till they all rest at my feet. "I feel hurt that you think so little of my Blueblood, but I guess thinking was always been hard for you. Bring me your offering, they don't look like they will put up a decent fight." My tone was growing darker and my eyes that once were seemingly empty was replaced with the look of a hungry animal that was on the hunt. At this the first man rushed at me he was about 5'11 and 220 pounds, I wonder how much was muscle and how much was fat. As he throw his first punch and side stepped and grabbed his wrist and upper arm and in one motion brought my leg up and brought it down on his right arm. I heard a satisfying crack from his arm and he was down on the ground crying.
The other two charged at once, I didn't care they weren't dangerous. I let one of them grab me from behind and he held me in a choke hold. I didn't care my attention was focused on the one that was punching me in the gut. With each punch I felt myself fall deeper and deeper into the darkness that lurked in my soul. I chuckled and threw both of my legs around the guy's neck and squeezed hard and I didn't stop till he was on the ground. I then released him and used my head to head butt the guy still holding me. I slowly turned around and looked at him, I could see him shake in his shoes, "Come on now, I haven't enjoyed myself in so long so don't break on me okay." He tried to back away, but fell on his butt. I was quickly on top of him wailing onto him with everything I had. I could hear him cry out asking for mercy, soon those pleas turned into slurred words as blood filled his mouth and his messing teeth weren't helping either. I didn't stop till he went completely silent, then I slowly stood up and realized that the entire cafeteria was silent. They were all staring at me with fear in their eyes.
"No matter what I do, it always turns out like this." I whisper to myself. I didn't see Blueblood, but I highly doubt he would show his face again. I walked over the three idiots that challenged me and made my way over to the exit. At that moment I heard that know it all voice call out,
"What Happened in here." I know I had to leave. So I walked through the door and didn't stop till I reached the garden, the very same garden that caused it all. I found myself a tree in the very back and laid down hoping that this day would just end and that I could finally live a peaceful life, but I guess know that I showed my real self, my special talent will come in handy once again. Being feared isn't bad it is them avoiding you that stinks, but with my talent I could walk among them, but the down side was that they would never realize I was there. Then I thought about what caused all of this and one name popped in my head, Blueblood.
"Why doesn't life seem to go right for me." I said to no one particular. I just stared up at the branched and the leaves as they slightly swayed with the breeze. I then heard a gentle humming coming from somewhere, but I was content to stay where I was I learned my lesson with following noises in this garden. I shown found myself falling asleep under that tree. I may have slept for a hour, but I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to me. Sounded like there was six of them, knowing my luck it would be them, but I stopped caring at this point. I could hear there conversation it was about what happened in the garden and what just happened in the cafeteria.
"Ladies, I don't think it would be wise to meet this fellow anymore. You saw what he did to those three, he must be a monster of some kind." said the posh voice
"Na, I could take him no sweat, just give me a minute and he will look worse than all three combined." said the tomboy
"RD, I doubt ya could take him. I ain't seen no one do something like that. I doubt my brother could do something like that." said the country accent.
"I must agree with Applejack, Rainbow Dash,from the looks of his aftermath he must be the strongest person we have every seen. I wouldn't want to stand in front of him." said the know it all
"Why are you being so mean to him, you guys don't know I thing about him and yet you treat him worse than Discord. I am very disappointed in you all." said Fluttershy. Got to say this may be because of her, but I don't think I could be mad at her one bit.
After this point they apologized and soon it broke down into girl talk which I quickly tuned out and went back to sleep. When I woke up the night sky filled the sky. I guess I was asleep for longer than I thought. I slowly got up and looked over the garden. It was filled with the beautiful moon light giving everything a unearthly glow. I walked over to the small stream and knelt down and saw my reflection in it along with the moon on my right side.
"How long are you going to be standing there, Miss Fluttershy." I said without looking back. I could hear a small squeak come from her direction and all was quiet for a moment till I heard light footsteps come closer to me.
"You are ... Shadow, right?" said Fluttershy softly. I could hear a hopeful, yet fearful tone in her voice. I didn't turn around, I simply nodded my head. "I wanted to thank you for what you did for me, if it wasn't for you I ... don't ...*sob*...what would have *sob* happened." I silently got up and walked up to her and brought her into a light hug. I felt her panic, but quickly relaxed and cry into my shirt till she couldn't cry anymore.
"I did what anyone would have done, but I am not the kind person you think I am. It would be best if you avoided me, you can keep my shirt. I don't really need it." I with that I slowly backed away and walked away. Fluttershy tried to call out, but her voice was caught in her throat, because she cried to much. She couldn't even see his face, because of her tears. The only thing she could feel was his lingering warmth and the sound of his steady, strong heart beat that had filled her ears.
Black Shadow's (POV)
I was already done for today and it was only morning, the reason why is that I have gym class this morning and I hate it. I may be physical fit, but that doesn't mean I like to sweat. I rather read than exercise, but I need the class and unfortunately I can't take a nap till I do all the exercises. Another thing I hate is the fact that the gym is the on the far side of the high school and I have to walk over the common grounds and past the cafeteria, just to do I few exercises and maybe play a team sport. If it was dodge ball I could get out and sleep, which would make this so much better.
"Man, why does the gym have to so far away. I know you having it closer soccer field is better and all, but why?" I said to myself. Another thing I hate about gym class is that I have to wear shorts. I am a jeans kind of guy, especially black jeans. So you could say that this is both uncomfortable for me and slightly embarrassing for me. When I finally reached the front of the gym I noticed the group of girls that are normally with Fluttershy, "Yep, today totally sucks. At least she isn't here" I whispered to myself. I pushed open the door and stuck to the wall and made my way to the bleachers where I few others were seating waiting for the teacher to arrive.
A couple minutes passed with a buff man that looked to be in his late thirty's walked. I assumed he was our teacher, because if the small bell that was around his neck and I was approved right when he opened his mouth.
"Okay, my name is Tough Love. I am going to be teacher for gym class, you do what I say and when I say it." "Joy, he is one of those types at least they are easy to deal with. "If I catch you lacking off or not giving it you all you will have to fun around the gym the whole class period, got it." I nodded along with the rest of them, no sense letting myself act an ass just yet. "Good today we will start things off with a classic game of dodge ball." At this point I tuned him out as he put everyone on a team and I didn't notice I was the last one till a voice called out.
"What about him coach? Isn't he going to play?" The coach looked at me and was surprised, probably thinking how in the world did he miss me. He quickly recovered from it and pointed me to a team that just screamed "please let this be painless." I stood in the back of the crowd and waited till the coach blew the whistle. When he did everyone, but me ran towards one of the balls that was lined up in the middle of the court. I noticed the other team had all of Fluttershy's friends on it and they were quickly dominating the others, because of their teamwork. As the game progressed my team was able to knock most of the other players out except for those five. Sooner, than I would have liked I was all alone against them.
"Man what I drag, why I am against a bunch of girl's." I said knowing the reaction I would get out of them. The first one to react was a girl with rainbow hair.
"Hey what is that suppose to me, we kick all your teammates ass and you think you could think little of me." She asked with venom in her voice. I simply nodded getting her to turn into a shape of red that if it was a cartoon she would have smoke going out of her ears. "That's it." She charged ahead of her group, with them yelling at her to come back and wait to strike. As she threw the ball for my head I yawned almost completely blocking my face. As the ball got close enough I reached my hand and grabbed the ball.
"That all you got hot head?" I asked with a smirk. She walked of the court grumbling and sat down on the bleachers with a small pout. "Aaw, Look everyone she's pouting." at this some people snickered and she turned a scarlet red from embarrassment. I turned my attention to the remaining four, all of them were furious. "Maybe to day won't be so bad after all."
"O, you uncouth delinquent you are going to pay for embarrassing my friend." Said the annoying posh voice girl. I saw her nodded to the one with a cowboy and she nodded back. They slowly walked closer and walked and they took the left and right edge of their side. "I guess they will both throw at the same time and one will aim high and other will aim low. They know it is near impossible to dodge, if I didn't swap a ball to have some protection." I said to myself. They gave each other one last nodded and threw their balls at me. The posh threw high and the country went low. I quickly grabbed the ball I had hidden in the back of my shirt and deflected the low one, while reaching up with my other hand to grab the one that was going for my head. I didn't stop there I took the ball I used to deflect the country's ball and slung it hard at her. She was too surprised to move out of the way so she got hit right in the face.
"Two down, two to go." I said as I watched the know it all gulp and the hated pink one was tending to the country girl that was out like a light. They had to call I time out, to get her off the court, something that slightly annoyed me, I didn't hit her that hard. O, who I am kidding I was hoping to see a tooth or two fall out from that hit. When they finally got her off the court I asked the remaining two, "What are you going to do now?"
"We are going to defeat you and make you apologize for hurting my friends." said the know it all. I actually chuckled at that, which of course made her madder. "Come on Pinkie lets show him not to underestimate us." "You know I just thought of something that just make work against that pink one."
"Yo, pink. Is that an unfinished cupcake that someone is about to throw away?" She quickly turned around and I quickly threw the ball nailing her in the back. "Oops, my bad." I turned my attention to the know it all. "So? What were you saying? Something about making me apologize." She backed up slightly and had a look of fear in her eyes. I could see her mouth begin to open as she said,
"I give up." With that I won and walked away not caring about what I had done. Soon after the bell range meaning I had enough time to change out of these clothes and get to my next class. As I made my way to the open area, I heard the distinct sound of someone running after me. I didn't care who it was, because I saw Principle Luna walk around the corner so I knew there was no way she couldn't see me. When I was tackled, I let out a rather loud sounded,
"Oof, get off of me." As I rolled over I saw that it was the rainbow one that was sitting on top of me with her right fist ready to strike. I acted scared till I heard Princess Luna say,
"RAINBOW DASH, cease thy actions immediately." the girl looked up and I could she was trying to say something it make it look like it wasn't her fault, but nothing came. I immediately pushed her off and got up and went over to the principle.
"Thank you, I think she may be mad that my team won the dodge ball game. My I please so, I need to change and get to my next class." she simply nodded and I was on my way. I was feeling better already, thank you hot head. I could still hear Luna giving her a stern talking to and something about a detention as well. I was grinning from ear to ear, which I quickly hid. "I wonder if there is any more chaos I can cause." I said to myself as turned up the hall towards the staircase that lead to my room.

Black Shadow's (POV)
As I walked back down the staircase, now in my back in black jeans with a dark blue hoodie with the cover over my head. I made my way back to the other side of the school, heading towards my next class which was shop. I don't actually mind this class, because I can build stuff, all sorts of stuff. As I was thinking about all the "lovely" things I could make I accidently bump into someone. Normally I wouldn't care to look to see who it was, but the sound of a multiple papers falling all over the ground and a voice saying,
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't see you there. O, man I am going to be in so much trouble if I don't get this to the teacher break room fast." It sounded like a girl and at the end I could hear the beginning of her starting to cry. I thought for a second and decided that some goodness won't kill me. So I got down on my knees and started collecting the papers. I got to say there was a lot of them, by the time she realized I was helping her she tried to stop me. "You don't need to help me it is my job not yours." I pretend not to hear her and continue on getting the papers. By the time I collect them all I look at her and say,
"It may be your job, but that doesn't mean I can't help you. Besides I did bump into you, and I have enough to help you get to this papers to the teachers' lounge. I think I have to pass by there anyway." I stood up and starting walking away with the papers. I could hear her footsteps as she came beside me. "O, I forgot to ask this, but who are you?"
I looked over to her to see a small blush on her face, "My name is Swift Fall, I work as a teacher assistant so I have to get all the papers they would need and get it to the teachers' lounge." She looked down, it seemed she was having an off day or something. "I mean I try to help them, but most of the time I am late because I try to run so fast that the papers fly away and I have to try to catch them or something else happens." I work one of my hands free and rub the top of her head, she seems a bit shocked given she froze stiff. I paid it no mind and said,
"I know how it feels to want to do your best and fail. I know it hurts and makes it harder to try again." I looked down at her ,"but you can't give up. Besides if you pace yourself a bit more instead of running blindly you won't make a mistake." I took my hand off her head and continued down the hall. I didn't hear her footsteps for a second or two, but then I could hear her. We continued to walk in silence for the rest of the trip to the lounge, but it was a comfortable silence. I could tell she was happy and a bit more determined to do better next time. When we reached the door, I stopped and turned to her and handed her the paper and backed away from the door.
"What are you doing?" she asked with her slightly tilted.
"Well, I am heading to my next class, you are here to deliver those papers and I think you will on time this time." I responded with a little wink, telling her to go along with it. I think she understood, because she blushed and winked back. I continued on my way and looked back to she here enter the lounge with a happy smile on her face. Now with that little side trip out of the way I finally made my way to shop class which was about four minutes away, and I had to be there in five, so it was no rush really. That is what I would like to saw if I didn't see a certain rainbow haired girl searching the hall I had to go down. "Just my luck." I said to myself as I turned around and took another hallway, it would get me to the class, but I would have to jog or run. So I decided to run, being my size people opened up a path for me and four minutes later I was in shop class right before the bell rang.
The best thing about shop is that it is an elective meaning I doubt that I would run into any of those girls I managed to piss off. Unfortunately for me as if fate was against me I saw the country girl rush in as soon as the bell rang, just barely making it on time. What is even worse is that there was only one open seat left and that was right next to me. Luckily my hoodie covered enough of my face that she couldn't tell it was me. She walked right next to me and sat down giving out a loud sigh of relief,
"Man, I was sure lucky, I made it here on time. I don't think the teach would believe me if I told me I was varmint hunting." I shrugged my shoulders in response. "I me how hard is to find one person that is so tall and plain mean in such a nice place like this." I shrugged again. "This is going to be a long class, I can feel it. "You don't talk much partner." I nodded. She continued "Well there are ain't nothing wrong about that, I got a brother." I was overjoyed to see the teacher walk in the front of the classroom.
"My name is Iron Beam, I will be your shop teacher. The person next to you will be your partner for the rest of the year, so get along." "Shit, shit, shit. This is either going to be bad or very bloody. "Now if there isn't one going to complain I what each group to make a bench with the material provided. I want it long, strong and decorated somehow, someway. Now Get TO IT." With that started what I thought would be hell for me, surprisingly enough I was enjoying myself. I would get the lumber and mark it and she would cut it and I would hold it in place while she nailed it. By the time we were finished building it, it was better than anything you would buy. The only thing left was to paint it.
"Well partner, what should we paint it?" asked country. I pulled out my phone and pulled up a picture of a farm and showed it to her. "Well now that is a good idea, but I don't think I can paint something like that." I didn't say a thing and just grabbed and brush and some paint and got to work. "You going to do it yourself" she asked and like usual I simply nodded. She didn't say anything till I was finished, I had to admit it turned out better than I thought. I didn't even mind the bit of paint on my hoodie. When the teacher came around to check on us he was taken back by our work.
"Well now this is some fine craftsmanship. I have to say the way you painted the farmhouse and the rows of trees is amazing." I might have said something if it wasn't for the fact that it would blow my cover. I just pushed the country girl in front of the teacher and grabbed my stuff and left before she had time to bring attention to me. I kept walking till I came to and empty hall way and sat down against the wall.
"Man that was brutal, and I have to do that every day for the rest of the year." I was tired I didn't notice the rainbow girl make her why up to me. I noticed her when she got with three feet on me, I knew I couldn't run so I just waited for her.
"Well, look what I got here. I think it is time you and I settled our scores with me beating you to a pulp." she sounded so confident in herself. I thought of the best way to through her off balance and have some fun with her.
"Well, I rather not have hit someone as cute as you" I said trying to sound honest while looking her in the eyes. "I mean I just loved the shade of red you turned when you got embarrassed." At this point she was a deep shade of red and was slowly backing up, not knowing what to do. This was something she wasn't expecting I bet.
"Wha ... what are you saying?" she asked. I just walked closer to her and closer till she was up against the wall. I bent my head down and whispered in her ear,
"I am saying is that I want you." I could feel her body temperature rise as she was beginning to sweat. "I want to make you feel great." I whispered again as my hand gently cupped her chin and brought her into a kiss. I say her eyes go wide, then close in bliss. As soon as backed away she slide against the wall unto the ground. "That was electric Rainbow, see you around." With that I walked away, satisfied with my handy work.
Dealing with New Feelings
Black Shadow's (POV)
As I walked back up my way to my room, I thought back to the little "incident" with the rainbow haired girl. It was kind of funny watching her tense up like that. I guess I found my new past time, at least till I get bored. I doubt she would leave herself open like that again, but I don't know till I see her again. I think that may have been her first kiss, given her reaction to what I did. I can't say I hated it either, she tasted a bit sweet, but not too sweet. I finally made it to my room and opened up my door and closed it. A second later I was on my bed fast asleep.
Rainbow's (POV)
"I cant believe he just did that!!!" I mentally screamed cheeks flushed red. I was too stunned to move, I reached in my pocket and pulled out my cellphone and dialed Applejack's number.
"What do ya need RD?" asked Applejack. I knew that if I told her she wouldn't say anything, besides I can't tell the others.
"Aj, I ran into that guy in the hallway, and things got a bit out of hand." I said my voice becoming sheepish in the end, my blushing was stronger than ever.
"What you mean it got out of hand?" she asked. "You did hit him or nothing I hope." I replied quickly.
"NO, I didn't hit him, I mean when I saw him I a wanted to...'" my voice got quiet on the end "but I didn't one thing happened then other than the next thing I know he is KISSING ME." I finally said now completely red from embarrassment.
"WHAT... HE KISSED YOU. O, when I get my hands on that no good varmint. I am going to strangle him." yelled Aj, I had to pull the phone away so that I didn't lose my hearing. I worked some moisture in my mouth of this next part I had to say.
"Aj, that isn't the worst part. It was great, I loved every second of it. What does this mean Aj?" I couldn't hear anything on the other side from Aj. "I mean that was my first kiss and it felt like electricity was flowing through me. When I think back to that moment, my heart skips a beat." I waited a moment and finally heard Aj sigh,
"Okay, Rainbow sounds like you got a lot of emotions and all, but remember he ain't the nicest person around. He picked on us and got me good with the dodge ball, but I got to be honest and say follow you heart RD." with that I said thanks and ended the call and put the phone back in my pocket.
I thought back to the way he looked, so tall and built. If he was a good guy there would be no problem that is when an idea struck me. "If I make him good and almost as awesome as me, then I could date him, no problem." I said out loud. I got up and went to my room with a determination to come up with a full proof plan to get him to be good. "Now, who could help me get him to reform." I said to myself and after a minute a remembered that Flutters was able to save that lousy Discord, 'O man she would be perfect, if he gets out of line see could use the stare on him.' With that thought a got up and ran to Flutters room, hoping she was there.
The Next Day Black Shadows (POV)
As I started walking up I had this feeling that today was going to be a bad day. I brushed off the feeling and made my way to the bathroom and walked in. I took of my shirt and saw all the small scars that were all over my torso, a small reminder fir the rest if my life that would be forever ingrained in my memory. I stared only for a second longer than took off the rest of my clothes and got in the shower. The feeling of warm water relaxing my muscles. I could still feel the pain from every scar every once in a while and it seemed like today was one of those days.
Afterwards I got dressed in a pair of black loose fitting jeans and a light grey long sleeve button up. It was simply just the way I like it, it makes sure that I don't stand out more than I all ready do. I grabbed my stuff I would need and started my way to my first class physics. It shouldn't be that hard, so I brought alone a book to read called, "One Hundred a one ways to cause Chaos" it was the second book of a series that I enjoyed to read in my free time. It was full of people tips and some decent jokes. I got to say that Discord is by far the best writer around. The sad thing is he no longer writes this books and switched over to romance novels. I was so sad to hear that, I always wondered what happened to him to make him change. There was only one of his new books that is useful and it is "The Chaos Of Seduction."
This was going to come in very handy with Rainbow, especially since I have a few ideas of how to mess with her head. I picked up on some psychological tricks that would keep her guessing. So many scenarios and so little time. Speaking of time I arrived on time for my class and was grateful for the fact that I didn't see any of those six girls this time around. I pulled out me book and started reading it all the while writing down some of the ideas and modifying them to fit me. I got to around page 32, which had lets say some suggestive content about how to bend a female to your will. Something that even my situation it was better, if I combined this with his other book, I could cause some glorious chaos to that group of six.
From what I had seen of them they seemed like such a nice group of friends, truly trusting each other. I was going to try and change that, turn them against one another the only thing I had to figure out was how. I knew I could use Rainbow once she was under my control and maybe that shy one as well. I think that farm girl could be swayed to, given how easily I had impressed her earlier. That would split them right down the middle. After thinking about it and seeing how it would work, I went to sleep in my seat.

Black Shadow's (POV)
I started to wake up hearing all the sound of feet moving around, I figured class was over so I got up and stretched. I could feel my back pop numerous times. I grabbed all my stuff and made my way through the hallways and avoided all the loud, annoying, hyperactive, over friendly people that seemed to be every in this school. I had noticed expect for a few people these people were overly peppy. Hopefully with me here now I could change that even if it was a little. You know the old saying 'Too much of something is bad for you' and this place was to bright. I smiled knowing who my first target is, Rainbow. She seemed like the kind to go to the extremes on anything she did so if crashed and thought all is lost then she would have it bad.
My first step to corrupt her is get her to she how bad her friends are. This was a huge hurdle to overcome given the fact that she wouldn't fall for it so easily. I would have to make her respect and fear me, so that it would give me more leverage to work with. I could make a fake rumor spread about myself something that would make me seem like a was abused and neglected and that I had many fights with other kids. If I have a good enough hold on her then she would start picking fights with them and stay closer to me, this would let me win her over by showing her affection. I may have to go so far as to date her, but the end result should be the same. Still I have to get the rumor mill going and everyone knows it only takes one little note left on someone desk and I had the perfect opportunity because I was the first one in my agricultural class. I went over to one od desk in the middle and grabbed a piece of paper and started writing my little letter.
Hey, I heard that the new guy was some kind of freak at his old school and got in tons of fights. I heard it was because they had picked on him so much that he finally snapped and since then he would hurt anyone. I had a friend that went to his school and he told me to steer clear and if you made eye contact run. I smirked thinking that showed be enough material for them to exaggerate and twist till it filled this school completely. Feeling confident in my handy work I folded the paper a couple times and hide it in the inside corner of the desk where someone would see it. Then I walked to the back of the classroom and laid my head down.
I could hear the first few people come in and to my announce it was the hyperactive pink one and she was talking to her sister I guess. I should say she was speaking and her sister was listening with a bored expression on her face. I could almost feel sorry for the person if I generally didn't care about people. After five more minutes the class was pretty well full and the teacher finally decided to show up. He was a muscled out and have red hair with a piece of straw in his mouth. When I first heard him speak something told me that he was related to the country girl that I had in my plans.
I have to say he may have looked dumber than I bag of bricks, but he know a lot about farming and all the ends and outs. He did have this weird thing about wanting to do everything by hand and not machines. I guess that explained his muscle mass, since he apparently did most stuff by hand. I took notes on how he acted and decided that they would be useful in getting my hands on the country girl, if she was anything like him. He apparently valued honest and hard work and family and anyone who did was alright in his books. Also found out that I was right, he was the country girl's brother and even more interestingly he mentioned they needed help on their family farm. I don't mind sweating if it for a naughty cause like getting my fangs into her. If it worked then I could work on both of them at the same time and advance my plans along so much quicker.
Once the bell rang, I waited a minute till everyone was gone except for the teacher. I walked up to him, "I would like to work on your farm, is that alright sir." I said looking down slightly at him, I could see him looking over my body trying to see if I was strong enough. Once he was finished he gave a nod and said,
"It would be my pleasure, we could always use some more young blood around especially one as tough looking as yourself. Come by Sweet Apple Acers today around after school and we will see if ya can work hard enough." I gave a fake smile and nodded and turned around left. As I made my way to through the hallway, I could hear people whispering about me. I could see fear and sadness in some of their eyes. It seems that even this school isn't immune to gossiping. That means my plan should work, especially given that I can see Rainbow talking angrily to a male student that looks like a pipsqueak. I hoped it was over me and my hope was well placed because once she saw me she ran over and grabbed my hand. I didn't resist and let her led me down the hallway all the while I could hear people whisper and knew this stunt was going to help. By the time she stopped we were in an empty hall way she had this look on her face that looked like she wanted to rip someone's head off and comfort me all at the same time. I got to say it was kind of cute, I looked at her and said,
"What do you want, I thought you didn't like me?" I said lacing my words with a bit of hurt and sadness. I could see her flinch a little and her face got a little red and she looked down for a second before looking back at me. I could she was confused from all her emotion that where running through her. I knew that I had to seal the deal "I know the looks they gave me, I don't mind them I am used to it. After all I am a monster." I made sure that it sounded like a was depressed and turns my head slightly away with a small frown on my face. Then I heard her say.
"You're not a monster, I heard they picked on you first and I heard from Flutters that you saved her. That doesn't sound like a monster to me." Right then I knew I had her and now the only thing a had to do was be careful and not mess up.

Black Shadow's (POV)
"Rainbow, you don't know all the things I have done. If you knew you couldn't love me." I said, looking down with tears beginning to form. "I never wanted to be this way, but a person can only take so much before they break. Dash, I am broken and there is no way for me to be whole again." A few tears now falling from my eyes. I could feel Rainbow's hands on the side of my face brushing of the few tears that fell.
"You know, you may not be totally awesome, but with me around you could be and... maybe.. I could help put you back together." I looked into her eyes and saw the gently concern and the determination practically glowing in them. I raised my hands and grabbed her hand from my face and held them gently, as if trying not to break them.
"Rainbow." I whispered, as my leaned in for another kiss, this time I could see her close her eyes and start to lean in as well. As our lips got closer I could feel her warm breath and her light perfume filled my nose with strawberry's. When our lips connected I started it slow, my hands working their way to the small of her back bringing her deeper into the kiss. I could feel her tongue on my lips asking for entrance, so the tongue battle started. I started to hear her moan slightly. My left hand roamed over her left butt cheek, she jumped slightly before she started kissing even more feverously. Suddenly I heard someone yell.
"GET AWAY FROM HER, YOU!!!" I didn't have time to react and someone pull us apart and slap me. When I saw who it was, I wasn't really surprised, it was Twilight the egghead. "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND I DONT WANT YOU NEAR MY FRIENDS!!!" I looked down and turned away from the two of them and then slowly walked away."Man how lucky can I get this will speed up my plans a bit., now to seal the deal." As I walked away, I stopped one last time and looked back at Rainbow and said,
"See, I can't find love, everyone only sees the monster." I then turned my head and walked way, down the hall. I walked down the hall and saw a janitor closet and walked in and slumped down to the ground. "Well, that should have done it, now I just sit back and wait." I sat there for a few minutes till i heard Rainbow yell, something and storm off. I could then hear someone stomp their way past the janitor's closet. I got up and walked back down the hallway where a stunned Twilight was at. I looked at her and give her a small smirk, I could tell this confused her, I guess logic really does rule her brain if this stumps her. I then walked out of the school and started my way down the road that I was told that Sweet Apple Acers was on.
It took almost 30 minutes to walk to the gate that lead even further down a dirt road with apple trees on both sides stretching as far as the eye could see. It may have taken me about another 5 minutes to reach a small cabin looking house. I walked up to the front porch and knocked three times and waited. I could hear slow footsteps making their way to the door and when it opened up I saw on old lady with gray hair standing there. I said, "I was told by Mr. Macintosh, that I could work her as a hand, ma'am." I could see her nodded her head and point to the barn and said.
"You'll find him in their getting ready, just remember that if ya don't work hard we won't let you work here no more. Got it." I nodded my head. "Good, now get on and do your best ya hear." I nodded once more and made my why to the barn."Now to see of I cant win some points with the farmer chick, her name was Applejack, right?" I said to myself, when I got the barn door I could see the it was already open and he was in their working on an old tractor that looked like it hadn't run for some time. I decided to make my presence known by saying.
"Sir, I am Shadow, you said I work here." I saw him turn around and he gave me a smile and waved my over to where he was. As I made my way over to the tractor I thought,"Okay, now how do I go about this? I guess working hard around here will give my some favor in her eyes. I guess I could try and fix this old thing, because honestly it doesn't look like he knows what he is doing." When I made it to him he stuck out his hand and said,
"Nice to have ya around, I was just trying to get this blasted thing her to work. I got all the parts I think I needed, but darn blast its i don't know how to install none of it." I looked it over and saw that it was fairly simple, I was amazed he didn't figure it out, then I guess that someone people just don't understand some things. I grabbed the tools and got to work, I replaced some of the hydraulic hoses with the newer ones and replaced the oil filter, and the air filter was filthy unfortunately they didn't have one so I had to clean it with a rag to the best of my ability. I looked over it once and realized that was all I could do and looked back at him and said,
"Give it a shoot now." He shrugged his shoulders and climbed up on the tractor and turned the ignition and the engine sputtered for a minute and finally turned over. I could see him smile and I just shrugged my shoulder. "Looks like it works fairly good, you really should have taken it to a mechanic." He was about to say something when for a second time someone yelled at me.
"WHAT ARE YA DOING HERE, YOU VARMIT!!!" I just pointed at the tractor.
"I work here, now. Hope we can get along." I said with a smirk. "Is that enough for today boss", I saw Macintosh nod yes. So I left the barn leaving a stunned Applejack behind.

Black Shadow's (POV)
As I walked away from the barn I could hear one harm hick walk up behind me and she grabbed my shoulder. I stopped and looked at the hand that was on my shoulder. I then looked at the person who it belonged to and no surprise it was her with and angry look on her face. I tilted my head and asked,
"Is there something I could do for ya partner?" I said with my most southern voice possible. I could see her face get redder my the second because of me poking fun at her. "Ya know it ain't right to be mad at someone for no reason. I'm only working here to get some cash." I knew getting her too mad would be bad so hopefully she will take this bait and ask why I need the cash and like clockwork I say her open her mouth.
"Why did ya need the money and ya know there is less demanding places to work than here? Ya look strong, but I doubt you have to the heart to do this kind of work." She said, also adding, "Because you need to be a tab bit special to work on this farm, and I don't think you have a farming spirit."
"I may not have been raised on a farm, but I cannot pass up a chance like this." I said looking at the off into the endless apple trees. "I have always loved nature, far more so than any person. People are weak willed and so very vain, they disgust me, but nature is strong and fair to all." my voice was filled with a sad warmth as this was probably the most honest thing , I have said in a long time. I could feel her remove her hand from my shoulder.
"What makes you hate people so much? What happened to ya that made ya so cold to the people around ya?" asked Applejack with a sad tone in her voice, but it still held a certain tone that demanded and answer. I sighed and turned around and looked at her straight in the eyes. I could see she was trying to find any deceit in my words. Knowing that lying right now would hurt my plans, I forced myself to tell her a short tale of why I hate people.
"Fine, I guess since we will be working together you should know why I am the why I am. First do you mind if we sit under one of the apple trees?" she nodded. "Okay, thanks." we both walked over to where the trees where and I saw an old looking one pretty far in the back that had plenty of shade on it. I walked over to it and sat down and patted the grass left to me which she obliged and sat down. "Well, I guess you could say I never had a real family. My mother slept around and my father was an alcoholic and my older sisters were off doing something illegal or in jail. I didn't care, because if they were around I would have been beaten by them, I was never comforted by my mother or learned what it means to be a man from my dad. I guess you could say I was doomed to be messed up, but that wasn't the breaking point for me. The breaking point for me was when I was sexually assaulted by my older sister and tied to my bed for there amusement for four days. I still have some of the scars from it to this day. When I opened her door, I noticed it was filled with family pictures ranging from her early childhood to what looks like right now. I noticed the people that were probably her parents vanished in her pictures after her 6th birthday party picture. So now I knew why she valued them so much. I placed her in the bed and covered her up and took her hat off and laid it on one of the post at the foot of her bed. After that I left and made my out of the house and down the road with a smirk on my face with what I think was I job well done.

It is a nice place with good music and even better beer. I cant say I ever really remember what happened the last time I woke up after the last time I went there other than I need to find someone by the nickname Nightmare and thank her for the wonderful time last Halloween and ask if I can get some more of that moonshine she had on her.
Black Shadow's (POV)
Did I every mention what I pain in the ass hangovers are because I have a monster of one right now. Staying out till two in the morning on Saturday to only wake up a few hours later thanks to my alarm clock doesn't help things either. I forced myself out of bed and made my way to the restroom and cleaned myself up and got nice warm shower to help rinse some of the headache away. When I came out I left a bit better. When I walked over and opened my closet I realized one thing, I needed more clothes. I had enough for a week, but still I wanted some more variety in my clothes. So I grabbed my black jeans and a clack long sleeve shirt and put them on along with a silver cross necklace that had a ruby in the center of the cross. I then sat down on my bed as I put on my socks and black combat boots and grabbed my phone looking for the nearest clothing store. Just my luck there was on not too far away called the Carousel Boutique and from the reviews on it they had every style for men and women. So I grabbed my wallet and made my way down the stairs and off the store following my trusted phone.

Finally, that was the longest twenty minute walk of my life, not one bad thing happened to someone to brighten my day. Well at least I am here and get this over with, I hate shopping for clothes. As I looked at the building it definitely lived up to its name and I had this uneasy feeling of dread for some reason. Pushing the feeling aside I pushed open the door and heard a chime go off over head and then heard a voice yell,
"I'm coming, be with you in a moment darling." In that moment I realized way I had that tread of fear. It was my fashion sense telling me someone would try to change my style. If I remember correctly she already disliked my choice in clothes. I thought of turning around till I heard her footsteps coming closer so I resigned myself to my fate. Who knows maybe I could break this lady's sense of decorum and show her the darker side of fashion. Before I could think any farther heard a her voice again, "Welcome to the Carousel Boutique were everything is absolutely unique, how my a help you. Her eyes weren't on my, but I sketch pad so I guess that is why she hadn't mentioned my clothes yet.
"Well, I have a rather unique taste in color chose being that it is all black. I was wondering if perhaps you had something along those lines?" I could see her winch when I said that and as soon as she looked up I knew she recognized me and was on guard. "I am only here to see if any of your lovely clothes match my taste. I will leave after that and not bother you, that I swear." I could see her become less tense, but kept her eye on me.
"Well then, lets see if I have something that will fit your unique tastes as you put it. Follow me and I will show you all the men clothes I have and you choose from there, okay?" she asked. I nodded my head and followed her deeper into the store till we came to a wall that was covered in men clothes from all styles and sizes. "The ones that would probably fit you the best would be on the far right and the matching pants are with them as well."
"You know, this it quite the collection of clothes and they all look to be handmade from what I can tell. You truly are something else, so much talent and I eye for how to make everything shine in its own way." I said with hopefully enough conviction to win her over if only a bit. I looked over to her to see that she was indeed shocked my by words and had a fairly large blush on her cheeks. I scanned over the clothes and found what I was looking for, it was a black button up that had some red on the collar with a dark blue strips that were almost black running down it. I looked at the price and it was only $35 and that was because she placed a must get ride of sticker on it. "I will take this if you don't mind, I was also wondering it you took requests because I would like some more clothes like this."
"Umm.. yes I do. I guess I could make some more clothes for you, if you would like I could make them using your measurements." I could see a little bit of a blush on her face as she said that. I simply nodded and she held me further back into the store where I saw a sewing machine and mannequins. "Now here is the embarrassing part I need you to remove your clothes so that they don't get in the way." After she said that she was full blown red while for me this was nothing new. I simply shrugged and took off my shirt and pants, leaving my underwear on. I could see her eyes travel over my body. I kind of hope she doesn't need me to turn around, because let's say my back side is my worse side. Still I shouldn't pass up this opportunity to mess with her.
"You okay, Miss Rarity? You seem a bit flustered is there something wrong." I ask politely. This seems have snapped her out of her little trance.
