Chapters Wiggle! Twitch! Sniff!
The strange individual lay in a crumpled heap in the middle of a grassy windswept meadow. He yawned as the cold air blew through his fur, "Two more minutes, Mommy..." whispered.
After two minutes, he started to stir. He yawned and stretched, making his joints pop before he finally noticed that his bed had been replaced by grass. He opened his eyes then he looked around, "Huh... There's something different." He looked down at himself, his shaggy dark gray fur, the black swanhead tattoo on his chest, before realizing he was naked. He breathed a sigh of relief, "Well, that's the same."
The big gray bat pulled himself up onto his feet only to stumble over himself and into a nearby tree. He shook his head, "Ugh... no more Nyquiskey shots before bed..." He felt something coming back up, "BLAAAARGH!"
After graciously painting the tree and grass with whatever it was he'd eaten last night, the bat groaned, "Man... who'd I blow last night?" He remembered, "Oh right, me." He massaged his temples with his wrists before opening his bright red eyes once again to survey his surroundings, "Huh... Now I know I remember goin' to bed in my little loft..." He smacked his head, "Come on, ya had pizza, then ya mixed Nyquil and Jack." He scratched his chin, "Went to sleep in your cushy red quilts, woke up in cold grass in the middle of nowhere." He nodded dumbly, "Ah..." He stood there as the wind swept between his legs, lightly jostling his weighty pair down below before he finally said something else, "Welp, that's enough of enjoyin' the scenery, where do I go from here?"
He looked down, "And where's my pants?"
Unbeknownst to him, the tall, lanky bat had himself a peeping tom, or in this case, a peeping mare.
A cyan-coated pegasus had chosen herself the most comfiest cloud within miles to catch herself a quick siesta when she had suddenly heard the voice from below. She righted herself in a flash then looked down towards the ground. She had no idea what she was looking at. Well it looked like one of those bats that live over by Sweet Apple Acres, but he was much bigger, and she was pretty sure none of them could talk.
She giggled when she saw him throw up all over that tree. She dragged this cloud lower so she could listen in. This strange bat guy was talking to himself, and sounded a bit like Applejack now that she could hear him more clearly. And what was Nyquil? Whoever this guy was, he seemed harmless. She leaped off of her cloud then flew down until she was hovering just behind him.
The bat's ears wiggled as he quickly detected the sound of wings flapping. He straightened up.
"Hey!" The pegasus spoke to him.
The bat jumped at the voice. He turned and... "Okay... what?" Floating right in front of him was a blue winged horse thing.
Rainbow giggled, "Boy, you've got a weird face."
The bat felt his face subconsciously before he fired back with a properly cocked eyebrow, "Well thanks, I made it myself."
Rainbow got right up in his face, "What are you anyway? I mean, you look like some kinda bat, but you're like bigger than a normal one."
The bat was getting to be annoyed by this flying horse, "Well yes, I am a bat, thank you for noticin' and you're like some kind of horse, right?"
Rainbow snickered, "Horse? Please! I'm a pony! A pegasus! The name's Rainbow Dash!"
Okay, maybe not so annoying, he thought, "Rainbow Dash... cute name. Did you get that off a cereal box or somethin'?"
She continued to flap her wings, "Uh no, I was called Rainbow Dash by my parents, duh."
The bat heard her, "Ah... well I'm sure they must be proud of you... Um, I'm gonna just go now." He started to walk away.
Rainbow Dash called out, "Wait!" She zipped right past him before she got in his way, "You can't go that way!"
The bat nearly flinched when she put her front hooves on his bare chest, "What? Why not?"
She pointed at the creepy forest just behind them, "That's the Everfree Forest! There's all kinds of weird creepy monsters that live there, it's very dangerous."
The bat chuckled, "Danger? Ha! I'm Jimmy Lee Darrell! As pure-blooded Texan as you'll ever see! I laugh in the face of danger!" He struck a manly pose and gave a cheesy laugh.
Just then something growled as it jumped out of the brush to tackle the cocky bat to the ground.
Dash panicked, "Timberwolf!"
The gray bat found himself pinned by the said timberwolf. He stared up into its glowing eyes as the thing growled, "A wolf made out twigs
and branches? Am I in Japan?" He winced when he felt the creature's hind paw press against a certain area, "Hey, you're on my nuts!"
The timberwolf was about to bite down on him when a heavy rock smacked it in its face, snapping the twigs holding its face together. The thing whined in pain then growled with venom when turning its eyes on Rainbow.
The brave pegasus threw another rock at him, "You leave him alone!"
That one bounced off its hide as the creature charged after her.
Rainbow took flight to get out of harm's way.
Jimmy found his opportunity. He reached out then grabbed the timberwolf's wooden tail, "Whoa there, wolfie! Ya ain't leavin' this party ya just started!" With a crazed look in his bright red eyes, Jimmy yanked on the wolf's tail throwing the beast against a large boulder.
The creature yelped in pain as its body snapped in half. Its hindquarters fell apart as whatever strange magic compelled the beast dissipated. Its front half still survived.
Jimmy looked down at the thing as it whimpered, "Yeah... I didn't think I'd ever make a tree cry, but there's a first time for anything I guess..." He turned to leave the thing to lick its wounds.
Rainbow swooped down on the big bat, "Dude! That was awesome! I have never seen anypony take out a timberwolf by themselves, not even Applejack!"
Once again, Jimmy found himself pinned under an attacker, though this one was distinctly cuter than the timberwolf. He grinned at her praises, "Well, I am kind of a badass. Some kinda livin' tree wolf, I've dealt with weirder shit than that." The bat only noticed how this cute blue pony was currently situated right over his body, which he suddenly remembered had no clothing. He wasn't the type to be bashful but,
"Um, do ya mind movin' back a bit?"
Rainbow did so, stepping back with a raised eyebrow, "Uh yeah sure, why?"
Jimmy sat up in the grass, "Well, if you haven't noticed, I'm kinda naked right now." He gestured to himself with his strange hands with their elongated fingers forming his wing membrane.
The cyan pegasus looked at his crotch then back up at him, "Yeah? I'm kinda naked all the time."
The bat snickered, "Yeah, and you wear it well, but it's normally, you know, rude to just let other people see your dick."
She rolled her pretty magenta eyes like that was obvious, "Well yeah, that's why we normally keep our tails down around here. I mean, it's cool if a colt wants ta look but I'm not that kinda mare."
The bat nodded, "Yeah well, I'm a bat so I don't have that luxury of bein' able to use my tail, since mine is kinda built into my membrane. I mean, I could walk around with mah wings coverin' me, but that would just look awkward. You uh, you know a place I could get somethin' to cover myself up?"
Rainbow smiled, "Oh yeah, one of my friends, Rarity! She's all about fashion! I'm sure she could whip something up for you!"
"Alright! That sounds like a plan!" Jimmy stood up, inadvertently putting his junk right in Rainbow's face.
The pegasus blushed as she saw it so close up, "Whoa..."
Jimmy quickly realized the little conundrum and promptly covered himself with his wings, "Yeah, that's Little Jimmy... uh this friend of yours lives in a secluded place far from the public eye right?"
Rainbow shook her head while she rubbed the sweat off her brow, "Um no... she... her shop is in Ponyville, right where other ponies could see... Little Jimmy."
The bat rolled his eyes, "Well then, we need somethin' to cover me up so I don't end up scarring any innocent children's impressionable imaginations now don't we?"
Rainbow wracked her brain before she got an idea, "I've got it!" She zipped away, flying right into the Everfree Forest she had just warned Jimmy about, "I'll be right back!"
So Jimmy stood there, dick out, wings over his crotch, waiting for his new talking pony friend to fly back. No more Nyquiskeys...
...
Somewhere deep within the Everfree, a white and black-striped zebra was working hard in her hut before her alert hearing told her of a coming visitor. "Ah, a visitor to see Zecora on this fine day, I must meet them and hear what they have to say." so she put aside her morning cleanup then stepped outside to be greeted by a typically frantic Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow greeted Zecora in her way, "Hey Zecora! Uh, you remember the other day you were showing me those special cloths that some of your zebra stallions sometimes wear?"
The zebra seemed happy that Dash had suddenly shown such interest in her culture, "Why yes, this I remember, like a flickering ember, I-"
Rainbow interrupted her, "Z... no offense but I kinda don't have time for the rhymes so... you think I could borrow one of those cloth things?"
Zecora seemed miffed at being interrupted but she took it in stride, "Okay, fine... why do you need one of my loincloths?"
Rainbow quickly explained to her about the strange bat-person she'd just met and how he needed something to cover himself up.
The zebra had listened closely, "Ah yes, I could loan you one of my loincloths for the sake of this bat's modesty. I would like to meet him, though. He sounds like a fascinating individual."
Rainbow agreed there, "Yeah, he is pretty interesting. We were already going to Ponyville to get help from Rarity but yeah, I'll be sure to bring him around sometime. Thanks for the help, Z!" She took the offered cloth from Zecora, "I'll see ya later, Z!" then she zipped off back to where she left Jimmy.
...
Jimmy had gotten bored while waiting and so sat down in the grass. All of a sudden, his ears perked up as he detected something hurtling towards him.
"Look out below!" A gray pegasus cried out before she crashed right into him.
So for the third time in a very short succession, Jimmy found himself pinned. The bat's eyes rolled from disorientation, "Ugh... now I know what a rug feels like." He looked at the dazed pegasus currently on his body, her rear dangerously close to his privates. He tried to ignore this until he felt her yellow tail brush against him, "Damn..."
Right then was when Rainbow came back. She saw Jimmy on the ground with Derpy, "Oh no, Derpy!"
Jimmy pushed the dizzy pegasus off of his body, "I knew I was a babe magnet, but seriously..."
Rainbow snickered, "Your, uh, thing's pointing up."
The bat promptly covered himself, "Yeah, that generally happens when there's a warm body lying on top of me. You got those covers?"
Dash dropped the loincloth in his lap, "Yup! I borrowed this from Zecora. She's a zebra that lives in the Everfree; she's about the only good thing about that place, really."
Jimmy picked up the cloth, "Wow, thanks..." He pulled himself up then tied the loincloth around his waist. It was a tad tight for his hips, but it fit him well. He still had a visible tent in the front, but that would go down eventually. "Mmm, it's a little drafty, but it'll work." Next he pointed to the mare lying in the grass, "Now what do we do about her?"
Rainbow had to tear her eyes away from his crotch again. With his height, her head came up exactly to his waist which put her at eye-level with his privates. She shook her head before she spoke, "Oh, Derpy'll be fine. She's a tough flier like me. So... we should probably start heading for Ponyville. You got wings, you think you could fly with me? It's so cool to have a flying buddy."
Jimmy looked at his wings, "Eh, these things are more a vestigial feature than actually functional. Plus, I've always preferred walking, it's good for the circulation, but... yeah a travel buddy sounds nice."
Rainbow frowned a little when he shot down flying, but she was happy again when he said he'd still want her as a travel buddy. She didn't know why this made her so happy, but it did. She hugged him, "Awesome! Thank you!" She broke away from him then she flew ahead of him, "Come on, Ponyville's this way!"
The bat followed her, keeping up a good jog and enjoying the breeze. He kept up a witty banter with her along the way, "So I noticed ya kinda kept lookin' at Little Jimmy."
The cyan pegasus scratched her rainbow mane, "Aw come on, when ya've got it right out there like that, how can anypony not look?"
The bat snickered, "Ya kinda like me, huh?"
She blushed, "Okay, yes! I do think you're funny with the way you talk an' stuff, plus the way you took out that timberwolf was pretty awesome." She suddenly jabbed him with a hoof, "But that stays between us! The girls would never let me live it down, especially
Pinkie! That pony's such a pervert!"
Jimmy snickered, "Hey, your secret's safe with me, Rainy. Can I call you Rainy?"
She blinked, "Yeah, I guess that sounds cool; just don't call me Brainy, that's Twilight." She giggled before she flew off ahead of him.
So the two new friends were on their way to Ponyville.
"So, I'm in a land called Equestria, where the population is mostly colorful talking ponies like you, Rainy?"
Rainbow nodded, "Uh huh."
Jimmy kept going, "And this land is ruled over by two princess sisters who each control the sun and moon?"
Rainbow smiled, "Mhm, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, two of the coolest princesses, aside from Twilight. She's the Princess of Friendship and one of my best friends."
The bat nodded, "Cool and you're a weather pony, able to physically alter nature itself?"
Rainbow had a smug smile, "Weather pony, Element of Loyalty and a Wonderbolt! So yeah, I'm all kinds of awesome!"
Jimmy enjoyed the ego on this pony, "Damn, and people said I have an ego." He suddenly had an idea, "Hey, Rainy, since we're like friends now, you think it would be cool if I showed you something?"
The pegasus was curious, "Sure, what is it?"
The bat stopped walking. He looked around to see if there would be anyone else that could see him, "Now, I'm gonna show ya somethin' that might be kinda scary, but also kinda cool." He smiled anxiously before pointing to the large tattoo on his chest, "Now do ya see this thing?"
Rainbow looked at it, "Yeah, I was gonna ask you about that. Is that like your cutie mark?"
Jimmy snickered, "Nah, nah, this ain't your little butt tattoo. This thing is magic. It was given to me one day when I found a meteor shard."
Rainbow stared at the big black swanhead, "Magic huh? What does it do?" She tried to touch it but Jimmy stopped her.
He laughed nervously, "Ya definitely don't wanna put your hoof in that... the thing can be pretty temperamental and has been known to shock people it doesn't like." He spoke this all with as much seriousness as his goofy bat face could convey.
Rainbow still wasn't convinced, "Uh-huh, so what do you do?"
The bat leaned in, "Well you see, I'm aerokinetic..."
Rainbow just stared.
He shook his head, "Here, I'll show you." He pulled her closer, "Get in close, now. Don't want you to get hurt or nothin'." He pointed across, "Okay! Do you see that tree over there?"
Rainbow looked at the tree he'd pointed out, "Yeah?"
Jimmy grinned as his red eyes started to glow, "Good, now pay attention." He stuck out his right wing then spread his palm as he drew focus on the air surrounding him right now.
RD looked at him, she saw the glowing in his eyes. It almost reminded her of whenever Twilight went into full magic mode. She felt air rushing around them as it gathered in Jimmy's open hand as a ball of wind.
Jimmy grinned a wicked grin, "Yeah... this is positively erotic sometimes!" He quipped before pulling his right wing back, "And swoop!" He swept his wing forth creating a sudden gust strong enough to rip that tree out by its roots.
Rainbow was speechless before she suddenly cheered, "Whoa! That was amazing! I've only ever seen alicorns do stuff life that!" she fluttered in the air before turning back to him, "Jimmy, what are you?"
The bat's eyes had stopped glowing, but his grin stayed plastered to his face, "I... am a shardbeast, that's what we'd begun to call ourselves. People like me who stumble upon magical shards that fell from space itself. Mine gives me the power to control the wind, so in a way, I'm kinda like you, Rainy."
Rainbow was all teeth now, "Sweet Celestia, I have to show you to Twilight! She's always eager to learn about new magics from different worlds."
Jimmy smiled as he felt Crazy Jimmy retreat to the recesses of his brain, "Yeah? I've never met a princess before. An emperor once, but that's another story for another day." He ruffled Rainbow's mane, "Come on, you're supposed to be taking me to this Ponyville place, remember?"
RD blinked her magenta eyes twice before remembering, "Oh right! It's this way! Come on!"
Jimmy shook his head and he followed the excitable blue pegasus, "Yeah, she's totally into me."
...
It was afternoon by the time the pair had made it to Ponyville.
Many ponies stopped to look at the strange bat creature walking with Rainbow. Some seemed nervous, while others were more interested.
If Rainbow trusted this guy...
A minty green unicorn came right up to the pair, “Wow! Rainbow, who’s your new friend?”
Rainbow smiled, “Hi, Lyra! This is-”
The bat interrupted, “Howdy! I’m Jimmy! Jimmy Lee Darrell, pleased to meet ya!” He stuck out a hand for the curious unicorn.
Lyra squealed, “OH MY GOSH! YOU HAVE HANDS! Are you a human?”
The bat snickered, “Human? Hell naw, ain’t no human alive that’s half as cool as me! I’m a bat!” He wiggled his big ears while he showed his fangs to her.
Lyra was not intimidated in the slightest, “Aw, not human...” she pouted a little before smiling up at him, “So you’re like some kind of batman?”
Jimmy laughed, “Naw, naw, I ain’t Batman... I’m a bat and” He pulled on his loincloth, “definitely a man” he let the cloth snap back into place,
“But I’m not Batman.”
Rainbow pushed him along, “Okay, we’re moving along, Jimmy.” She called out to Lyra, “We’ll catch you later, Lyra. Tell Bon Bon hi for me!”
Lyra giggled, “Okay! Bye Dash! Bye Jimmy!” and she trotted away with the most excited look on her face.
Jimmy snickered as RD pushed him, “Aw, was someone gettin’ jealous back there?”
RD blushed, “What? No! Lyra’s got a marefriend already! Why would I be jealous of her?”
The bat grinned, “Cause you like me?”
Dash pushed him hard enough to make him fall over, “Shut up! I just think you’re cool and funny and I want to help you, that’s all!”
The bat snickered, “Right...”
...
Both bat and pegasus stopped as they came up to Rarity’s Carousel Boutique, her shop and her home as well.
Jimmy had to look at the big building. To him, it looked like someone had built their house out of a merry-go-round, or a giant wedding cake. He quirked an eyebrow while Rainbow knocked on the front door, “Rarity!”
“Just a minute!” the fashionista singsonged from within. She was clearly in the middle of work when they got here.
The front door swung open and Rarity, the lovely white unicorn with the gorgeous purple mane stepped out, “Ah, Rainbow! It is so nice of you to drop in, but unfortunately I am dealing with a client right now.”
“This will only take a minute out of your time, Rare.” RD said before gesturing to the 6 foot tall bat standing next to her, “First, this is Jimmy.”
Rarity saw the bat in question; her first reaction was revulsion. She remembered those nasty vampire fruit bats that had plagued Sweet Apple Acres once. Her second reaction was astonishment; he was certainly a more handsome specimen than those wild ones. She held a hoof to her chest, “My... Jimmy, is that your name? Um...” She shook her head, “Well as I said, I’m dealing with a client, but I guess you could come in if you don’t mind waiting.”
The bat smiled, “Why thank you! I will come in.”
Rarity already liked his voice. She stepped aside, “Then please, be my guest.”
The bat chuckled, “And thank you again.” He playfully pinched her snout before going inside, though he had to duck his head under the doorway to get in.
Both ponies followed him in.
Rarity stuck behind to ask, “Just where did you pick this one up, Rainbow? He’s such a dashing, debonair and,” she rubbed her nose where he had touched her, “playful gent.”
Rainbow explained, “I found him just outside of Ponyville. He just popped up out of nowhere, literally. He says he’s from a place called Texas.”
Rarity nodded, “Mmm, so definitely not a natural Equestrian, though he does sound a tad bit like Applejack.”
RD agreed, “Yeah, I noticed that too.”
Inside, Jimmy had taken a seat on a stool and was having a nice little chat with Rarity’s client, a cute blue unicorn with a bi-colored mane of white and blue.
“And honestly, I can’t figure out why everypony says my mane looks like toothpaste.”
Jimmy snickered as he messed with Minuette’s mane in his overly touchy but playful manner, “Well, it’s a pretty mane anyway and congratulations on your engagement.”
The mare blushed, “Gee thanks, I was so nervous about asking Berry. We’d been friends for so long, but I didn’t think she ever returned my feelings.”
The bat pinched her nose, “Ah, but you gambled and ya won the jackpot. I’d say that’s a great reason to be happy!”
She giggled, “Wow, why can’t the other colts be as funny as you?”
Rarity cleared her throat as she came up to the pair, “Well, well, Mr. James, it seems you are making yourself quite at home.”
Jimmy laughed, “Yeah that’s the thing about bats. We’ll make a home anywhere... as long as it ain’t cold.”
Rarity held her hoof over her mouth when she laughed at his casual attitude. She caught her breath, “Well, as I said before, I am currently busy with Ms. Minuette here, but Rainbow has already informed me about your need for...” she eyed the loincloth around his waist, “better clothes to cover your playthings.” She tittered at the little dirty word she just used. “I can help as soon as I am finished with my client. Business comes first before pleasure, after all.” She blushed as she realized what she had just said.
Jimmy snickered but ignored her slip-up for her sake, “Thank you, Rarity. I’ll just be right here, all nice and polite like the good boy I was brought up to be.”
Rarity tittered some more, “Yes, you go do that. Now, Minuette where were we?” She led the unicorn into another part of the boutique where they would not be interrupted again.
Jimmy sat back on the stool and waited as he’d said.
Rainbow almost laughed. He looked like an overgrown foal waiting for his mom to finish shopping.
Jimmy, meanwhile, looked at the mirror situated behind the stool he’d resided on. He saw himself and even had to agree with what a fine specimen of manliness he was. There he was, 6’2, 27 years old with gray fur all around, long, straight black hair that stretched to his shoulder blades, pointy fangs sticking out even with his mouth fully closed and bright red eyes that looked like rubies.
His smile faded as he began to think about his friends he’d left behind. Everything had gone so fast since he woke up in this strange land, he hadn’t had a moment to really think. His friends, his adopted brother, the old bird who took care of them both, Marina...
They all were probably going crazy wondering where he’d gone by now. Well some of them were probably throwing a party now that they didn’t have to deal with his odd brand of humor, but Marina...
He felt a hoof on his shoulder then looked at RD, “Oh hey, Rainy.”
Rainbow tilted her head at him, “You looked upset there, Jim... What’s up?”
The bat sighed, “Yeah, I guess it’s just hit me. I’m here in a strange land and all my friends an’ family are probably losin’ their minds just thinkin’ where I might be.”
The pegasus wrapped a wing around her friend, “Hey...” She had an idea, “My friend, Twilight might know something. After we’re done here, we should go over to her place. It’s worth a shot right?”
Jimmy put both of his wings around Rainbow and he hugged her tight, “Yeah, that sounds like a good plan!” He smiled, suddenly happy again. He nuzzled the blushing pegasus, “Thank you, Rainy.”
...
Rarity went right to work in helping Jimmy after Minuette had let the boutique. She took out her measuring tape before speaking with that refined accent of hers, “Now, considering your height, I’ll have to measure you while sitting down, is this alright?”
Jimmy nodded, “Works for me.”
Rarity smiled, “Splendid!” And so she got started, asking him to extend his limbs or sit up straight when needed.
Rainbow sat back and watched while Rarity did her thing, “So Jimmy... I know it’s kinda late to ask this but, just what kinda bat are you?”
The bat snickered, showing his teeth as he spoke, “Why, I’m a vampire bat.” The light glinted off of fangs.
Rarity should have been frightened to hear this, but this somehow just made him seem that much more enticing, “A vampire you say... So you drink blood?”
He grinned, “Yeah, but not in the practical way... I mean, if I’m ever hungry, I could just eat anythin’. The only times I bite are uh...” he winked, “in the bedroom.”
And that just about made Lady Rarity’s perfectly coiffed mane come undone, “Oh my... So you like to bite during... relations?”
The bat grinned some more, clearly enjoying the embarrassed/aroused expressions he was getting out of her. His bright red eyes glowed once again as he felt Crazy Jimmy threatening to come out, “Oh yeah... Many times me an’ a hot gal are in it an’ I just nip her. Tiny little bite, a little blood, just that feeling of helplessness... Am I right?” He tickled her chin and made Rarity shiver just from the touch of his claw to her throat.
Rainbow’s wings had gone up by now, “This just got hot...”
The unicorn had to tighten her hind legs a little when the bat had so blatantly teased her, “I-I see what you mean.” She had to take a breather, “Now, can you please behave yourself? I am still trying to take measurements for you, darling.”
Jimmy’s eyes had returned to normal then, “Yeah... I’ll behave.”
So Rarity went right back to work when she had a thought, “Oh, I had forgotten to ask, is there anything in particular you have in mind for your wardrobe, Mr. James?”
The bat snickered, “Well, first off, it’s Jimmy, not James. Jimmy Lee Darrell, that’s my full name an’ I guess... Ya think ya could whip up somethin’ country western? Ah’m a Texan after all an’ I do love to reinforce mah stereotype.” He chuckled, now that he was his cheery happy self again and not whatever that other Jimmy was a while ago.
Rarity tittered as she became more comfortable with him again, “Wow, you really sound like you could be one of Applejack’s relatives.” She measured his waistline for him while she kept talking, “She lives out on Sweet Apple Acres, she’s a farm pony; always has that cute country drawl of hers, though I’d never admit that to her face.” She giggled.
“Your secret’s safe with me.” He whispered to her with that friendly smile of his.
Rarity blushed, “Thank you.”
When Rarity was done taking the necessary measurements, she let Jimmy go, “I will have your country duds finished in good time, Mr. Darrell. It was truly a pleasure meeting you, ta-ta!”
The bat stopped to take a knee before the pretty mare, “And it was great meeting you too, Miss Rarity.” He took her right hoof then kissed it like the country gentleman he was.
Rarity’s mane came undone once again, “My, such a charmer, Mr. Darrell.”
The bat winked at her with those intimidating yet alluring red eyes of his, “I’m just a good ol’ boy like mah mama taught me, ma’am.” He got up, then stepped out.
Rainbow met up with him out front, “And here I thought Pinkie Pie was the queen of creepiness.” She snickered before guiding him along, “Come on, it’s already gonna be nighttime. I could take you to my place. It’s a big house made of clouds, you can’t miss it!”
Jimmy shrugged, “Sounds fine.”
RD smiled, “Alright then, it’s settled! Tomorrow, I can take you to meet Twilight. She could probably figure out what brought you to Equestria. Well come on!”
Then the two of them left the boutique together.
Rarity closed the door behind them then locked after they had gone. The teasing Jimmy had given her earlier still left its mark on her and she needed to do something about it. She shivered as she thought about a certain stallion toy of hers that was sure to get some good use out of tonight.
Author's Note
As I intend this to be, hopefully, a more plot-focused story, I feel it would be helpful to at least point out when chapters will cross over into clop territory. There is always going to be sexual humor, that's the nature of my character, Jimmy, but I will try to make him behave otherwise,
So this one will feature an adult scene, just fair warning.
Chapter 3
The pair set down on the front porch of a large, floating cloud mansion.
Rainbow let Jimmy go and, thankfully, the bat was indeed able to stand on the steps leading into her home. She pulled the door open using her right wing then stepped aside to let her guest in, “Well, here we are. Cloud sweet cloud! What do you think?” Why did she suddenly care what a guy she’d just met thought of her home?
Jimmy walked in, his bare feet cold against the smooth tile floors. He looked around, the place looked like an ancient Greek temple mixed with some old one-percenter’s fancy manor. The staircase which led up to where he assumed Rainbow’s room was had a gorgeous red carpet over a black and white checkered tile and the railing had those beautiful Greek columns lining it from foyer all the up to the mezzanine. Jimmy finally answered Rainbow, “Damn, Rainy! You know, for such a rough an’ tumble girl, I would never expect somethin’ this fancy!”
Rainbow blushed while rubbing her head with a wing, “Oh, its really just a hand-me down. I had it moved here straight from Cloudsdale, that’s where I grew up. The best city in the sky! So you really like it?”
The bat smiled and he nodded, “Hell yeah! This is some badass digs ya got here! Tell me, y’all get some dirty, naked freaks up in here sometimes, huh?” He jabbed her playfully.
She blushed more, “Oh no, not exactly. Not everyone in Ponyville can actually come up here. This place is mostly clouds and only winged creatures, or ponies who know a unicorn with a cloud-walking spell, can actually walk around up here, so no I don’t have a lot of parties up here. All our parties are pretty ground-based, though if you like those dirty, sex parties, Pinkie does have those, but only for certain nights and ya gotta sign under the desk for that sorta thing.”
Jimmy smiled, “So you’ve been to these sex parties?”
RD flustered, “N-no! Of course not! I already said, I’m not that kinda mare!”
The bat grinned, “Well, between you an’ me, I am that kinda bat, though for your sake, I’m just gonna leave it that. I don’t think your face can take that much blush.”
The pegasus coughed uncomfortably, “Yeah... Uh, so, let me just show you around and then we could get some sleep.”
The bat with those intimidating red eyes took a winged bow before her, “Lead the way, Master.”
RD’s cheeks turned an even darker purple from all of his endless teasing, “O...kay, just this way.”
...
“And down that way’s the bathroom, and by the way,” Her cheeks had returned to a bluish violet at this point, “if ya need to, you know, careful when you flush, sometimes you can get sucked in and yeah that’s not a pleasant experience.”
Jimmy had to stop when he heard that, “Well, there’s an image to haunt my dreams.”
Rainbow laughed now that she’d finally gotten him back for all the teasing, “Yeah, it’s better you know now than later when you’re possibly plummeting to your death.”
The bat shook his head while his irises shrunk, “Nah, it’s not even the dyin’! It’s the whole gettin’ sucked out through a... That’s just wrong! I know I like nasty stuff, but I gotta draw the line somewhere!”
The pegasus snickered, “It’s okay, just don’t stand too close to it when you flush... Can’t tell ya how many times I’ve had friends who got stuck in there... I won’t say more because hey, I respect my friends too much, but some of ‘em never use it when they come up here anymore. They usually make sure they’ve done business before comin’ over.”
The bat’s face had paled from such a colorful description about cloud mansion bathroom etiquette. He bumped Rainbow with his hip,
“Okay, I get it! Ya got me back for all my assholery before; happy?” His face was pleasant mix of annoyance and mirth.
Rainbow laughed, “Very!” before she trotted down the hall towards her room. She stopped when she got there, “Now... I don’t really have the guest room set up, usually I gotta be told in advance if somepony’s gonna come and sleepover, and it’s already late so...” She took a breath before finally spitting it out, “If you promise to behave and keep your claws to yourself, you could stay in my room with me for the night.”
Jimmy smiled, “That is a nice offer and a great show of trust, but I wouldn’t ask to put yourself out for my benefit. I can just sleep out here... I was homeless once, I’ve slept on cold floors before.” He showed off his wings, “God gave me two built-in blankets to keep myself warm after all.”
The cyan pegasus shook her head, “No! No, you don’t have to do that... I-I want you to stay. Other than Fluttershy, Derpy, the few other pegasi friends I have around here, I don’t often have somepony I could talk to up here.”
Jimmy smiled, “Well, you are someone fun to talk with... But,” But what? Marina’s not here; she’s home probably losing her mind over you.
He shook his head, “Okay, I’ll stay with you and I swear I won’t bother you in anyway. I may paint myself as kind of a freak, but I do have my standards, and number 1 is I treat all my bedfellows with total respect whether it’s a sexual thing or not.”
Rainbow looked at him, “Well, okay... So, I guess all there is to do is just to turn in and get some shut-eye?”
He nodded, “Sure thing, Rainy.”
They went into Rainbow’s room and to Jimmy, it looked like exactly what he would’ve thought of this rough, tomboyish little pegasus. What he saw was a room plastered with posters of the famous aerial team, the Wonderbolts. What he didn’t see of them, he saw of some Indiana Jones-type explorer named Daring Do that just looked like Rainbow with a different color scheme to him. He looked at that some before he saw some of the pictures Dash kept on her dresser drawers. He picked up a little portrait of her with five other ponies and one little purple dragon. He recognized Rarity.
Rainbow saw him with the picture of her friends, “Yeah, that’s me and the girls!” She pointed to each with a wingtip, “The purple brainiac there is Twilight Sparkle, she’s the Princess of Friendship! There’s Applejack, you really do sound like one of her cousins by the way and... I should probably introduce you to her last... She’s not a particular fan of bats since that time a whole swarm of ‘em nearly destroyed her whole apple orchard. There’s Fluttershy; she loves animals but she’s real timid. We grew up in Cloudsdale together so I’ve known her longer than any of them. You already know Rarity, that’s Pinkie Pie... I should probably prepare you for her too, she is very random. And the little guy there is Spike. He’s been Twilight’s assistant for years, he lives in the castle with her.” She leaned in closer, “He’s got a major crush on Rarity, though everypony already knows anyway. You’ll see him at her place more often than not, he’s always helping her when he’s not helping Twi.”
Jimmy nodded, “Quite an interesting bunch you surround yourself with... Sure wish I had a picture so I could show you my friends.”
Rainbow climbed into bed while Jimmy sat next to her, “You could tell me, I’ll try to picture them in my head.”
Jimmy shrugged, “Okay well, there’s Jacob, he’s kinda the leader of our group. My best friend, though we don’t always agree on things, such as how hot I think we’d both look if he just went gay a little.” He snickered, “There’s Jill, his girl, Hidaya, she’s his girl too... Sometimes a guy gets all the luck. There’s Jonny, Desiree, Jill’s brother, James and her adopted sister, Isabella, then there’s...” He stopped, “Marina.”
Rainbow felt something from the way he’d said that last name. She had to ask, “And who is Marina?”
Jimmy petted Rainbow’s mane as he thought of the pretty otter he’d left behind, “Marina Roosevelt... She’s my girl. We’d been living together for some time now and we were thinking about eventually getting married and now...” He grew more mores, “Now I’m here.”
Was this jealousy? Rainbow thought to herself, for a girl that’s not even here? She shook her head, “Don’t worry... When we go to see Twilight tomorrow, I’m sure she could find some way to help you.”
The bat smiled as he suddenly hugged Rainbow again, “Thank you. You’re a good friend, Rainy.”
She was blushing again when they separated, but this wasn’t an embarrassed blush. This one felt good, like she’d really helped her friend feel better about his situation. She scooted over to her side of the bed, “So... I guess I’ll see you in the morning?”
The bat just remembered something, “Oh, Rainy! I just remembered, and please don’t be mad.”
She was already yawning, “What would I be mad about?”
Jimmy smiled at her, seemingly a little embarrassed for a change, “Well the thing is I sleep in the nude.”
She stopped mid-yawn when he said that. Already images of his junk out in the open sprung to her mind, “Oh... Uh, well, I’m always naked so that’s not strange and... I guess I did already see your stuff before so...” She blushed, “Knock yourself out!”
Jimmy already had the loincloth untied but he still hesitated, “Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
Rainbow giggled, “Jimmy, it’s not a problem. You just stay on your side, ‘member?”
He joked, “Yeah, and I’ll make sure Little Jimmy ‘members too.” So then, he took off the loincloth and let his privates out.
Rainbow’s eyes widened as soon as them out in the open. She’d looked at the odd stallion and seen the weighty pairs that they had dangling. Jimmy’s were a tad bigger than a typical stallion, and not as smooth looking, covered in the same bushy gray fur as the rest of him. She’d also, on occasion, seen a colt whenever he’d been aroused. Their penises were fairly large, though she’d never personally perused a stallion. Jimmy’s had a similar floppiness and thickness, but he did seem lengthy, and where stallions had a sheath to contain their malehoods, he had a loose skin wrapped around his like a tight sock.
Rainbow had been so focused on her dreams about being a Wonderbolt she’d never devoted much else to her relationship status. Now she was a Wonderbolt and still as much a curious virgin as she’d been in flight school. Seeing Jimmy this close was awakening a feeling she didn’t know existed in her.
Jimmy noticed, how would he not notice a girl staring at his dick for the last thirty seconds? It flattered him that she was so interested but, he’d already promised that he would respect her boundaries. He pulled back the quilt on Rainbow’s bed then slid himself under, “Well, we could just sit there an’ keep lookin’ at each other’s privates, but I think it is more vital that we get a good night’s sleep, eh?”
Rainbow blinked once he’d covered his maleness with her blankets, “Huh? Oh, oh yeah, right... Um, good night, Jimmy.” She smiled. But then, as soon as the bat had gone to sleep, Rainbow mumbled to herself, “Oh Celestia... I want him.”
...
“Mmm, now who is this?”
Jimmy’s alert ears wiggled. He was dreaming, he was home surrounded by friends and family. There was Jacob, the handsome black rat with the two lovely females, a ferret named Jill and a meerkat named Hidaya. Hidaya, to Jimmy, was especially sexy with her more petite body, green eyes, red hair and the fact she could easily kick his ass if he so much as looked at her wrong.
Over there was the bodacious beaver, Desiree with her two handsome men, Jonathan, a wispy brown squirrel and James Jr, Jill’s “Baby Brother” as she always referred to him.
He looked to the right and there he saw his family, what family he had anyway. There was his little brother, a mute coyote named Robert and the old roadrunner who cared for the both of them, Miguel.
Then there was Marina... The otteress staring back at him with those beautiful brown eyes, that long dark brown hair, those magnificent breasts, her wide hips, that cute Australian accent of hers, “Jimmy...”
“Now, who could you be?”
He heard that voice again, a female voice, one that sounded regal, very important. He turned his eyes once more until they fell upon a great, beautiful, navy blue alicorn with a flowing mane which resembled the night sky.
Jimmy blinked, “Who are you?”
The alicorn spoke to him kindly, “I am Luna, stranger, Princess of the Night.”
He blinked, “One of the royal sisters of this land?”
Luna smiled, “Indeed, thou hast heard of us?”
The bat nodded, “Yeah... You’re real pretty but, what is this?”
She blushed, “It is one of my many duties, to gaze into the dreams of the many denizens of our land. I had seen your door but did not recognize the symbol, this symbol.” She pointed to the tattoo on his chest.
Jimmy looked back at her, “This symbol, I guess like the cutie marks of your ponies, it is the source of my power... I am magic too, but a different kind.”
Luna brushed her hoof over his bare chest, “Fascinating, I wish I could stay longer, but I must depart. I do sorely wish to meet you, in the flesh!”
The bat joked, “Well I’m already naked, so we’re already there.” He snickered as his comment had made the princess blush.
“Yes, well...” She tried to think of something, before she just abandoned the dream altogether.
...
The next morning, Rainbow had awoken before Jimmy. The cyan pegasus opened her pretty magenta eyes then looked at her friend while he slept. She felt that feeling again, that warm feeling. She leaned in to sniff him. There was an earthiness to his musk; he really smelled like he could have been an earth pony.
She shook her head; she shouldn’t be feeling this way. He’s not even the same species.
He was still so cute, though.
She pushed off the quilt so she could get out and try to shake off this feeling, then she saw it.
Jimmy’s Little Jimmy, though she couldn’t really call that thing little, had stood up on its own, the loose skin peeling slightly to expose the round tip beneath.
Rainbow shielded her eyes with one of her wings. She shouldn’t have looked, but now she had and now that feeling was stronger. She brought her wing down and the thing was still sticking, maybe not up, but definitely out. She had a thought. She looked up to see he was still asleep, then back down to his... Thing.
Jimmy slept peacefully for the next few seconds before he felt something rather warm brush against his prick. The bat was always a light sleeper, especially concerning matters of sex. He opened his bright red eyes and caught sight of a blue wing wrapped around him, its soft feathers tickling him while a certain pegasus found it hard to follow her own bed rules apparently. Not that he was complaining, but if someone says no touching, he would expect some unspoken agreement that the other person would do the same. At the same time, he’d never been jacked off with a wing before and he was always eager to try new things. So he let her, remembering to close his eyes each time she seemed to peer back up to make sure he hadn’t woken yet.
Rainbow looked at it while she played with it, it was like she had found a new toy now all she wanted to do was play. It felt firm in her wing, felt warm. She smelled it; that earthy musk was even stronger with a hint of something salty. She looked at it as it twitched and a droplet of some clear stuff dribbled from his tip. Before she could stop herself, Rainbow licked it.
Jimmy bit his lip to hold back on the moan he gave from her tongue flickering over his tip. He hadn’t even touched himself within the last 24 hours, a new deal for him he realized. He looked at her while she seemed to register his flavor.
It was salty, but not unpleasant. She continued to stroke him with her wing and as she saw more dribble out, she licked more, slowly getting bolder and more forceful with each pass of her tongue.
And for a bat who was typically proud of his own self-endurance, things predictably didn’t last long after a whole day’s worth of abstinence.
The bat moaned as he felt himself twitch then shoot into his new friend’s open mouth.
She’d been surprised when it happened, then found she liked the taste of this stuff even more. She put her cute snout over the tip and let those salty fluids pour down her eager gullet. She broke off eventually and let those last few strands shoot across her face while she relaxed with her cheek nuzzling his dwindling length. It was only then she looked up and saw his bright red eyes looking down at her. She gulped, swallowing the last of his cum while her cheeks flushed violet with blush. She sat up about to apologize when he interrupted her.
“It’s okay, Rainbow... It ain’t the first time I woke up to this.” He smiled, “I liked it, by the way. Thank you for the wake up call.” He winked at her while that signature grin of his spread across his muzzle. He beckoned her with a simple flick of his wrist.
Hesitantly, she crawled up until she was nearly nose-to-nose with the bat. He was definitely smiling, clearly not upset with what she did.
She nearly flinched when he put his hands on her, then moaned when his long, tapering tongue ran up her face, lapping up some of his own semen from her pristine, blue fur.
Dutifully, Jimmy licked up every stray strand that had painted his friend’s face. He then regarded her with the same friendly smile he always wore before gently, but persuasively pulling her muzzle against his own.
Rainbow had kissed other ponies, she wasn’t completely clueless when it came to expressing affection. She’d kissed Fluttershy and Derpy on occasions, both were quite receptive to her advances but she never went beyond kissing. She felt the bat’s tongue tickle her lips, she opened up then felt his long tongue slide in, to lap at the remaining cum still in her mouth.
She shivered when she realized this bat was tasting himself and clearly enjoying it, and she shivered from the sheer electricity of his tongue brushing against hers. His muzzle was many times bigger than hers yet their mouths still somehow fit.
Eventually, Jimmy had collected enough of his own stuff. He pulled back to swallow before he finally spoke, “Thank you.”
Rainbow blushed, “D-don’t mention it.”
...
The two sat together in Rainbow’s kitchen afterward.
Neither were very hungry, not from the salty supplement they’d just shared.
Jimmy eventually broke the silence, “So first off, I’m not upset, clearly, but definitely some boundaries were crossed there.”
Rainbow blushed, “Yeah... Sorry I couldn’t control myself but... I’d never done anything like that before. I’d hear other pegasi brag about this stuff, but I never tried it. I wanted so much to be a Wonderbolt, I put everything else to the side for that dream. Now I am a Wonderbolt and I still know next to nothing about this stuff.”
Jimmy chuckled, “That was damn good for a first try, though. A+ plus in my book.” He pinched her nose playfully, “And... While I would respect that this probably won’t happen again, I wouldn’t object if it did, as long as both of us are coherent and willing. The one thing I never, ever do is take advantage... That’s not me, not at all. Miguel brought me up to be better than that.”
She nodded, “That’s good... And I will make sure to ask... Because that was pretty fun.” She was still blushing but this was that feel-good blush. “Who’s Miguel?”
Jimmy smiled, “Well, he’s kinda my dad...”
She quirked an eyebrow at that, “How is someone kinda your dad?”
The bat explained, “Well, we weren’t exactly related. He’s a bird, a roadrunner. He is also the guy who saved me from a life on the streets an’ took me in as his own. Everything I know about bein’ a gentleman, I learned it from him. For the longest time, it was just the three of us. Me, Miguel and Robert, he was my brother, again not by blood. Rob is a coyote. I hope he’s doin’ alright without me. That boy has this shyness like you won’t believe, he don’t even talk to people. And it’s not like he was born mute, he can talk and does, but not around other people. Most of the time he just writes whatever he’s thinking so he talks to our friends through his little notes.” He nearly teared up from thinking of the shaggy brown canine.
Rainbow said the first thing that came to her mind, “It sounds like Robert and Fluttershy would get along.”
Jimmy smiled, “So... About us goin’ to see this princess friend of yours.”
Rainbow had completely forgot, “Oh right... She’s probably up by now so we should get going.” She got up, her hooves clopping on the tile floor, “Come on! I can fly you there so nopony sees you in your loincloth.”
...
The pair of them set down on the steps of the Friendship Castle. Rainbow knocked on the double doors, “Twilight!”
The doors opened and a cute little purple and green dragon stepped out, “Oh hey, Rainbow!” He nearly shrieked when he saw the large bat,
“Whoa!”
Jimmy smiled, “Howdy!”
The dragon stammered, “Uh... Hi?”
Rainbow shouted, “Spike! We need to see Twilight!”
“OH MY GOSH!”
The lavender alicorn shouted while her wings shot up like she’d just had the best sex ever, “A magical visitor from another world!?” She tackled Jimmy hard enough to knock the bat flat on his back, “You have to tell me everything, everything you know!”
Rainbow pushed Twi off of her friend, “Twilight! You’re going crazy again!”
Twi blushed as soon as she realized, “Oh! Oh! I am so sorry, but you don’t just spring magic news on me like that and not expect me to get excited!”
Jimmy giggled, “Man... It ain’t been since Spring Break in ‘09 I ever been tackled by a female like that.” He sat up on the shiny floor of the map room, then shook his head, “But that’s another story, let’s get back to the topic.”
Twilight laughed nervously, “Oh yes, let’s.” She helped him up with her magic, “And I do sincerely apologize for my little outburst. I am always, always happy to learn about new magic.” She nudged Spike who stood by her with a very tired expression in his face. He held up a quill and scroll while Twi went on, “Now first, begin by telling me about this mark on your body.”
Jimmy smiled as he spoke, “Well this thing here, we call the Swanhead, for obvious reasons, people like me get this whenever we come in contact with a meteor shard, a magical stone, no bigger than my finger,” He stuck out his right index as he went on, “It goes into our bodies, stings like a bitch, pardon my language, then boom!” He stuck out his left wing and cast a powerful gust of wind which knocked every artifact off a nearby wall.
An aquamarine aura caught everything before it could hit the floor, “Woo! That’s some pretty strong wind magic there!” Starlight had come in after hearing voices and used her magic to save everything from being broken.
Twilight giggled like, “Oh, Star! This is... What’s your name again?”
The bat smirked, “Jimmy Lee Darrell, how’s it goin’?”
Then Twilight introduced him to Star, “Yes, and this, Jimmy, is my ‘star pupil’, Starlight Glimmer!”
The pinkish-purple unicorn smiled, “Hey!”
The bat nodded, “Hey to you too.”
Rainbow came up to them, “Well, it looks like you guys are set up so... I’d better go before I’m late for weather work.”
Jimmy waved to his friend, “Okay, Rainy! Adios and goodbye!”
RD smiled, “See ya later!” and she zoomed off, leaving Jimmy with Twilight and Starlight.
Twilight cleared her throat then, “And now... Maybe this would be better if we moved our discussion to the library. It’s nice and quiet, you can just tell me all you want in there. Star, you wanna come with?”
Star blushed, “Oh, I’d love to, but I’d actually agreed to meet up with Trixie for a little lunch date so...” She smiled, “But it was very nice meeting you, Jimmy!” She waved too before she too went off.
“Aaand we’re alone!” Twi did seem a little miffed at the mention of Trixie, but she was clearly getting better considering the circumstances.
The alicorn looked up to the large bat, “So, shall we retire to the library?”
Jimmy nodded, “Yes, we shall.”
...
Jimmy whistled after seeing Twilight’s extensive library, “Dang, and I thought Jill’s dad had a big library.”
Twilight listened, “This Jill is one of your friends from home?”
The bat snickered, “Friend... Not quite. She’s my best friend’s girlfriend and I’m sure she’s still sore at me about wreckin’ her house once or twice...” he coughed “three times.”
The alicorn nodded, “I see... So, perhaps we can talk more about your powers, your world? I really would like to know.”
The bat took a seat on Twilight’s reading couch, “Well, I would love to tell you, but I was kinda under the impression that you might be able to help with my little misplacement problem.”
The bookish princess quirked an eyebrow at him, “Yes, and I will help you, but I need to understand you more so I can know what I am dealing with here.” She sat with him on the couch while Spike stood by with a quill and scroll, wearing the most bored expression ever.
Jimmy nodded, “Yes, well, let me see, about my power; I can control the wind, I can turn into wind, I’m able to make wind solid so it can cut through things.”
Twilight held a hoof to her chest, “My... So you’ve fought with these powers?”
The bat looked to her with his intimidating red eyes, “I’ve killed with these powers, sometimes in self defense, sometimes not...”
The lavender alicorn seemed intimidated, and Spike definitely looked worried. Twilight cleared her voice, “You’ve killed... In your world? So you’re like a soldier.”
Jimmy shrugged, “In a way... I used to be a part of a group, we called ourselves the Marksmen. Our leader was Jerome Marks and he was ruthless. And I was one of his enforcers, it was a job; one I did for years until circumstances found me on a better path, one where I had friends who I could trust, a girlfriend who loved me, a brother who looked up to me. I did bad things then I found love and now I’m here, alone.”
Twilight dabbed a tear that had appeared in the corner of her eye, “That all sounds very sad."
Jimmy sighed, "Yeah..."
She comforted him using one of her wings, "And whatever it is you'd done before you came here, I won't judge you. I know already too well what it means to find yourself on the wrong path, not personally, but Starlight was bad once, now I trust her with my life. Even our own Princess Luna had her own dark past..." That's when she had an idea. Twilight clapped her front hooves before she shouted, "That's it! The Princesses! Celestia and Luna, they could help you! Celestia is my mentor and a pony I'm proud to call friend, she knows ancient magic from untold pasts!" She hopped off the couch, "Spike!"
The dragon was still standing there, "A letter to Celestia?"
The alicorn blushed, "Yes, you already know me so well."
Jimmy sat back and watched while Twilight dictated a letter for the princess.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I know this letter must be coming to you at such short notice and that you must be very busy right now, but I have a new friend here, a Mr. Jimmy Lee Darrell. It seems he is a visitor from another world, but he has no memory of how he got here. He has great magic, he controls the wind, not to mention, he's a big talking bat! I await your immediate response,
Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle
Twilight cleared her throat, "Good, now send that to the Princess, she needs to see this right away!"
"Okidokey!" Spike rolled out that letter then sealed it with a red ribbon before he blew on it with his green fire.
The scroll blew up in a cloud of smoke then disappeared.
Twilight turned back to Jimmy, "And there you have it, in a minute or two we should get a response. Oh, the princesses may wish to meet you, I'm sure they are just as interested in learning about you. Speaking of..." She climbed back onto the couch sit by him, "Is there anything more you could tell me about yourself or your homeworld?"
Jimmy thought, "Well, before comin' here, I lived in Texas, and Texas is a state in a big diverse country called the United States of America. I've lived there for the last 7 or so years. Before that, I actually lived in Mexico. That's another big country that my state borders, it's where I actually grew up. Then, I was born Jaime Rodriguez."
Twilight nodded politely while listening to him. For that country drawl of his, she'd have thought him to be a little less intelligent, but he really seemed to be a very inquisitive and intelligent individual.
"There's much more I could tell, but it'd take all day and I really don't wanna weigh you down with my sad past if that's alright." He smiled to her.
Twi placed her left hoof on his right leg, "It's okay. You can tell me whenever you feel you're ready; until then, you can consider yourself a welcome guest to the Castle of Friendship, and I thank you for sharing with me." She felt her cheeks color up before Spike suddenly belched out Celestia's response letter.
The dragon patted his chest, "That was fast."
Twi held it up with her magic, "I know, that wasn't even a minute." She opened the scroll to read Celestia's response.
Dear Twilight,
We have already been aware of this bat you wrote of, as my sister Luna has already had the pleasure of meeting him in a dream. We would love a more formal meeting as soon as possible, and eagerly await you.
Yours truly, Celestia
P.S.: He may not be alone, Luna has sensed a similar presence since this morning, be on the lookout.
Twilight's eyes had dilated after she'd read the letter. She looked at Jimmy, "You've already met Luna!?"
The bat smiled smugly, "Let me guess, slightly taller than the rest of you ponies, dark blue, has wings and a horn? Yeah."
Twilight pounced on Jimmy, pinning him against the couch, "Oh my gosh! You've been here two days and one night and you've already met Luna!? How are you not more excited?"
The bat shrugged, "I've met royalty. Had dinner with an emperor once, that was kinda cool. Anyway, the Princesses want to see me? That'd be nice. That Luna is a real cutie, I know I made her blush a little." He chuckled.
Twilight sighed, "Yes, I guess Luna is real pretty, but nothing like Celestia, she is as radiant as the sun itself." Then she blushed when she realized what she'd just said.
Spike had already facepalmed while Jimmy slid in closer with that smirk of his, "Ah, someone here has a crush doesn't she?"
Twilight gulped, "No, of course not! It's not like I worship the ground she walks on or anything."
The bat scoffed, "Yeah, and I'm most definitely not a six foot-tall talking bat with a bad sense of humor." He pinched Twi's cheek and he giggled.
Twilight blushed, "Well, I can see how you and Rainbow are such good friends already." She laughed nervously.
Then a voice rang out from outside the library, "Twilight, darling!"
Spike shot up in an instant, "Rarity!"
Twi giggled, "Go ahead, Spike. We'll be with you soon."
The dragon smiled, "Thanks, Twi!" then he ran out to greet Rarity.'
Twilight and Jimmy stayed behind.
The alicorn bumped him gently, "Welp, I suppose we should go see what Rarity wants." She got down on her four hooves then started to trot, "Come along now."
Jimmy stood up, cracking a few bones in his back from sitting so long, then he followed.
...
When they made it to the foyer, Spike was already helping Rarity by carrying her couture she had made for Ponyville's newest resident.
Rarity greeted both Twilight and Jimmy when she saw them, "Ah, Twilight! You are looking fabulous as usual,: she kissed her friend on her cheek before addressing the bat, "and Jimmy, Rainbow had informed me I could find you here. I have for you your new country western outfit you've requested."
Jimmy checked the shirt first, “Ah, this is pretty nice.” The shirt was black with white embroidering around the shoulders and chest region.
Rarity seemed pleased, “Obviously, I had quite the job needing to make new couture for a two-legged individual and one with your height. I also took your wingspan into consideration. This shirt should fit you fine.”
He took a look at the pants, “Yeah, you did a pretty good job on these.” The pants were a rough texture similar to denim. He doubted they knew about denim jeans in this world, but this was pretty close. His red eyes brightened up as he smiled, “Man, all I would need to complete this image would be some boots, a ten-gallon hat and a red ascot to match my eyes.”
Rarity was already taking notes, “Mhm, boots, cowboy hat, red ascot, these would be easy, and I could have them done within the day, no charge of course.”
Jimmy smiled, “Wow, that is very generous,” then his smile took on a hint of unease, “but I wouldn’t feel right not thanking you properly for your hard work.” He blinked, “I guess if I’m gonna be here a while I’ll need a job.” He scratched his chin.
Rarity smiled, “Such a gent, I do appreciate it.” She waltzed over to the bat.
Jimmy got down on his knees so she could get closer.
Without a hint of hesitation, Rarity pecked Jimmy on his cheek before whispering in his ear, “That’s thanks for last night, you naughty bat.”
The bat snickered, “Glad to be a part of your wet dreams.”
She playfully smacked him with a hoof, “Oh you!” a clear blush appearing in her cheeks as she cleared her throat, “Well then, I must be off, I have appointments to make, Minuette is due back for her fitting and I’ll need to divvy up my schedule so I also have time to work on your accoutrements. Ta-ta!” She waved to the bat then to her friends as she departed.
Jimmy snickered, “Dang, these are some nice duds.” He brushed a hand over the smooth cotton of his new shirt.
Spike seemed less than pleased at the moment. He muttered, “Yeah, I guess.” He walked away, not in the least happy with seeing Rarity kiss the bat, though he didn’t hear what she had whispered to him.
Twilight shook her head, “Don’t worry about him. He’s had the biggest crush on Rarity ever since we moved to Ponyville.” She checked to see that the dragon was gone then leaned in, “So what did Rarity mean about last night?” She had a playful smirk like she’d already suspected what might have happened.
Jimmy wasn’t shy with the details, “Oh nothing extreme, it’s just that when Rainy took me to Rarity’s yesterday to get me measured for new clothing, I might have teased her a bit. And I got a strong nose, I could tell I was havin’ an effect on her. Apparently it started after they asked me about my species.”
Twilight tilted her head, “Oh?”
The bat grinned, “Yeah... I’m a vampire bat.”
Twi flinched, “Like, drinking blood kind of vampire?”
His eyes glowed red as he locked eyes with her, “Yeah... Now, I don’t drink blood to sustain myself. If I’m hungry, I’ll just eat anythin’, but as far as drinking blood goes.” He tickled Twi’s chin, making her shiver the same as he did to Rarity before, “I save that stuff for the bedroom.”
The alicorn stepped back with her hind legs clinched, “Well, I can’t say I ever thought about... that. Not that I’m thinking about sex that much anyway.” She blushed, “Uh,” change of subject, “So... You said you wanted to get some work to pay off Rarity?”
The bat’s eyes returned to normal, “Yes, why? Do you have any ideas?”
Twilight nodded, “Yeah, there’s plenty of things you could do around Ponyville. I could refer you to some of my friends.” She thought while collecting a piece of parchment then began to write on it, “Mmm, Applejack’s always looking for extra help on the farm, you could try there. Any experience in farm work?”
The bat crossed his wings, “Nah, as country as I may sound, I’m a city bat more than anythin’, but hard work on a farm is somethin’ I could do.”
She nodded, “Mhm, Sugarcube Corner is another good local business. They make all the best sweets there. My friend, Pinkie Pie works and lives there and her baked goods are out of this world!”
The bat grimaced and he waved a hand, “Eh, not too crazy with the sweets."
Twi didn’t seem surprised. He didn’t look like a guy who liked sweet stuff, not with a body like that. She shook her head, focus! “Okay, there’s Fluttershy, she takes care of her animals, and she could use some help.” She walked around while Jimmy watched her.
“Mayor Mare has her work at town hall, a few mares around town need a good foalsitter to watch their fillies.” She looked at him, “Yeah, probably not a good idea.” She scribbled that idea out, “Filthy Rich needs help down at the store, there’s a lot actually.”
The bat hummed, “I’ll probably just stick with that first option. Farm work does the body good, and I gotta keep this body good!” Then, he remembered he was still in his loincloth, “But first, I need a wardrobe change! Do you have a place I could go try these on?”
Twilight smiled, “Oh yeah, sure. I can just show you where you can get dressed. Just follow me.”
...
“And here’s the bathroom, just go in, get dressed and then I could escort you to Sweet Apple Acres.” Twilight smiled to the bat.
Jimmy smiled back, “You know, you ponies sure are trusting of a six-foot tall carnivore.”
Twi waved him off, “Oh, don’t be silly. As far as I’ve seen, you have been very friendly, if a little bit of a perv, but you’ve really given no reason for me to distrust you. It would seem judgmental of me if I got upset just because of your diet.”
Jimmy opened the bathroom door, “Well, that is mighty nice of ya.”
Twi beamed with pride, “Well, I am the Princess of Friendship, being nice is sort of my thing.”
The bat snickered, “And here I thought it was being a cute little nerd.” He closed the door before she could fire back.
Instead, Twilight shook her head as her cheeks turned bright pink, “Oh... He called me cute.” She trotted away to give Jimmy his privacy.
On the other side of the door, the bat had taken off his loincloth. Now he’d get to put on some real clothes. He sniffed his armpits, “Eh, shower first.” He pulled back the curtain on the shower stall. He sighed, “Well, I guess a tuna can would be less cramped than this.” He shrugged, “Oh well. Make do!” He stepped in, having to lower his head because of the low ceiling, “You’d think a castle would have higher tops.”
...
Eventually, Jimmy had finished his impromptu shower. He’d used some lovely lavender scented shampoo that had been in there. It made him smell and feel clean. After drying himself using his wind magic, the bat put on his new pants Rarity had made for him. It didn’t matter to him that he had no underwear to go underneath, the bat went commando all the time anyway. The pants were a remarkably nice fit, if a bit snug in the middle. He could ask Rarity for a few small changes, he guessed to himself. Next, he tried on the shirt.
“Oh!” he exclaimed as he felt his wings slide through slits that Rarity had thoughtfully sewn into the sides to accommodate his wingspan. He pulled back to see, “Dang... That’s creative! Aw, so nice to make it special like that!” The shirt was a nice fit too. He buttoned up while he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror. He looked dapper. The black cowboy shirt with its embroidering that looked like snowflakes in a black tapestry, there was just one thing missing to complete this little ensemble. The bat looked around the bathroom until his bright red eyes found what he was looking for. “Found ja!”
The bat stepped out in his new shirt and pants. His straight black hair had been tied up into a ponytail now. He tugged on the ribbon he’d used to make sure the knot was still strong. It was bright red, just like his eyes. He giggled, “Now all I need is the hat and boots and I’d be a true country gentleman!”
He looked around for a certain purple alicorn who had gone missing now, “Twilight!” He walked down the hall in search of the bookish princess. He hadn’t gone far before his strong sense of smell told him where she was. He grinned, “Well then.”
He followed the smell until his ears began to pick up minute gasps from behind a pair of crystalline double doors. He’d teased her that much, huh? He listened in, his right ear pressed against the door.
On the other side, Twilight was in bed, biting a front hoof while she used her own magic to pleasure herself. She was almost embarrassed she let that bat’s teasing affect her this much. She never felt this around any stallions before, she’d almost begun to think of herself as either asexual or a filly fooler. Now this bat comes in and brings such a reaction out of her, who was this Jimmy Lee Darrell?
Jimmy’s red eyes glowed, “Yeah...” then he shook his head, “No, no! Bad Jimmy! This is a friend, you just got her to trust ya, ya don’t wanna ruin that now!”
Crazy Jimmy still ate away at him though, “But she smells so delectable... I’ll bet she tastes like grape soda.”
Jimmy yelled at himself, “No! Friends don’t take advantage of friends!”
Crazy Jimmy snickered, “You’ve been taking advantage since ya got here and you know it! It’s our energy, the energy from our shard that’s affecting them everywhere we go. The greedy little thing needs feeding, Jimmy...”
Jimmy held his hands over his face, “Stop! I can’t!”
By then, Twilight had heard Jimmy having his inner debate with himself. She immediately stopped what she had been doing then swung open her doors, accidentally smacking Jimmy in the face.
THWACK!
“Gasp! Oh Celestia, Jimmy! I’m so sorry!” She ran over to the bat as he held his face where he’d been struck.
The bat’s nose was bleeding, “Ow...”
Twilight huddled over him, “Oh no!” She was almost in tears from having hurt her friend.
Jimmy calmed her, “Hey, hey, Twi! It’th okay! I acthually kinda needed thath!” His speech was somewhat muffled by his busted nose.
Twilight shook her head, “But Jimmy, I got blood all over your new shirt.”
He balked, “Please, you can get blood outta cotton easy. Now stop worryin’, I don’t like seeing that face all upset.” He brushed her tears while his eyes glowed again. This time it wasn’t Crazy Jimmy’s red glow, but a more pleasant, angelic glow while his nose healed in a near instant.
Twilight looked, “Wow... You can heal yourself too?”
Jimmy shook his head, “No... It’s the shard. It protects me. If I’m injured it regenerates for me, but only when I’m calm.” He sniffed after his nose had fixed itself in a matter of seconds. He petted Twilight while he laid there beneath her, “You’ve got some pretty eyes, by the way.”
Twilight laughed from his little compliment before she realized her close her muzzle was to his. She blushed, “Um...”
He noticed too, “Yeah...” He also noticed a small bit of moisture downward, “Uh, Twi... You’re still a little wet back there.”
She gasped. She’d just been pleasuring herself while thinking of this bat. Now she was crouched over him while her marehood still dripped. She covered herself with her wings and she turned in shame, “I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean for that to happen.”
The bat nodded, “Yeah, clearly you didn’t... Look, Twi, it’s okay, I ain’t even mad.” He sat up to try and comfort her.
She sobbed, “No! I’m a princess now! I’m supposed to be in better control of my emotions and... And I feel like such a school filly right now.” She flinched when Jimmy wrapped her up in his leathery wings.
“Shush now! You ain’t no school filly, if you’ll pardon the double negatives, Twi.” He felt her laugh from that, “It’s perfectly normal that you feel something for another person, or in your case, another pony. Being a princess, it’s a nice title and all, but that doesn’t change you.”
She giggled, “Bad example... I was a unicorn before so becoming a princess literally did change me.”
Jimmy sighed, “I’m saying that you are still you. You have wings, a title, and a whole circle of friends that look to you for answers, but you’re still Twilight, a cute little egghead with feelings and wants like any normal girl or pony.”
Twilight felt so warm in his grasp. She nuzzled his neck, “Thank you...”
“Aw, it’s nothin’.” He petted her smooth mane, felt her soft fur underneath while Crazy Jimmy reared his ugly head again, “What did I say?”
He pushed back his inner demon. This wasn’t that. Then he felt a pair of lips press against his chin.
Twi pulled back with a light smack, “Was that... I’m sorry I-”
So he’d just been kissed by a princess, a princess who to his better knowledge may just be affected by his shard’s desire to replenish itself. He held Twilight’s cheek when she tried to look away, “Shush... That was a good kiss.” He smiled.
Twilight felt encouraged, “Thank you... Would you like another one?”
Jimmy smiled, “You don’t have to ask, and try a little higher up this time.”
Twilight blushed before leaning up then kissing Jimmy directly on the lips.
The bat caught her then, placing both hands on either cheek while he held her and kissed her in return.
In the back of his mind, as things started to progress, Crazy Jimmy snickered, “Score one!”
An untold amount of time passed between the two ‘friends’ in her room, on her bed, with the covers thrown to the floor.
Twilight sighed heatedly as she sat astride the bat’s lap. Her eyes glazed over in the aftermath of her first true experience with another.
His eyes and his tattoo glowed as his shard absorbed her energy following this heated interlude.
Well, I’ve made it with a magical pony princess, he thought to himself while she panted on top of him.
Her thoughts were a more chaotic jumble; she’d just given her virginity to a male she just met today. Part of her felt immense shame that she gave in so quickly to lust, another part just felt so good. This was what it was like to feel someone’s warmth. She felt plenty of it... Inside. Her front hooves gave out and she laid out across his sweaty naked body.
Jimmy put his wings around her as soon as she’d done so to hold her and try to comfort her as he could clearly see she was going through some serious inner struggle right now.
“Jimmy...” she whispered at least.
He rubbed her soft rump, now that he’d become quite acquainted with it, “Yeah?”
She almost purred from his touch; could an equine even purr? She whispered, “Whatever happens... I don’t regret this. This... I needed this.” She kissed his cheek before looking into those bright red eyes of his, “I’m always so worried how other ponies will think of me, I’m always fretting every single detail and all of this new princess business really leaves no room for me to have a coltfriend. Right now, it feels good, letting go and just living the moment. I feel great... If a little sticky and sweaty.” she finally quipped, “Thank you.”
Jimmy was happy she felt this way, but something in him still felt guilty. Not even that he’d been unfaithful to Marina, they had an open relationship. She would understand him laying with someone else, as long as she was there to join in.
In the back of his mind, Crazy Jimmy snickered, “One down... How many more?”
He felt lips pecking against his neckline, accompanied by the tickle of her tongue against his throat.
“Do you think you could go again?” She kissed him directly on the lips when she asked.
He looked up into those hopeful eyes. There was no way he could disappoint a pretty face like hers, though he knew he would probably hate himself more later. He faked a smile, “Yeah... I can go all day.”
She cheered inward then pushed her muzzle into his.
...
It was awhile later, as the pair were finishing a third session together that someone knocked on Twilight’s bedroom door.
“Twilight! All our friends have dropped in to meet our new guest!”
A now blushing Twi fought back a moan as she felt herself filled up yet again. She called out, “I’ll be right out, Spike!”
Jimmy backed off of her, “Timing, huh?”
Twi gave a disappointed moan when she felt him slip out of her, “Yeah, perfect timing.” She stretched her back muscles before rolling out of bed, “Well, we’d better freshen up quick, and Jimmy...”
He looked when as he pulled himself out of bed, “Yes, Twi?”
She fluttered her eyes at him and she smiled, “Thank you.”
...
Twilight wisely decided she should come out and greet her friends first, then Jimmy could come in for a proper introduction.
The alicorn had used her magic to deal with whatever latent smells that bat may have left on her.
Twilight hugged each of her friends when she saw them, “It is so nice of you all to drop in, Jimmy will be out in a moment, he uh...” she thought up an excuse, “He wanted me to prepare you all due to the fact that he’s... not from our world.” Good enough, she thought.
Applejack smiled, “Well, when ah heard from Rarity about this here dashin’ new gent, ah just had ta come an’ see fer myself!”
Twilight smiled while she thought, wow they do sound alike.
Fluttershy was her usual self, “Um, Twilight, this new friend isn’t something big is he?”
Twi shook her head at her friend’s question but kept her smile, “Well, he walks on two legs, so he’s naturally taller than most of us in here.”
Pinkie Pie just seemed excited at the prospect of meeting someone new, “Ooh, I hope I can make a big enough party for our new guest!”
Twi already knew of his distaste for sweets, but she decided that was best for Pinkie to find out on her own. She giggled, “Pinkie, you could make a party for ants if you wanted to.”
Pinkie giggled, “I could and I have!”
They were all in the map room right now. Each of the Mane Six plus Spike and Starlight took their seats around the Cutie Map.
Twilight cleared her throat, “Very well, since everypony is here, Jimmy!”
The bat heard his name and so stepped out to meet the rest of Twilight’s friends. He was dressed again in his new country outfit that Rarity had made for him. The little bloodstains had been cleaned out with Twilight’s magic. He had his hair tied up in a ponytail with that red ribbon.
Rarity cooed, “Ooh, the country look does fit you well, Mr. Darrell.”
The bat smiled, “Why thank you!” He took a winged bow to the lovely ladies of the room and Spike, “Good evenin’, I’m Jimmy, Jimmy Lee Darrell, nice to meet ya!”
The three ponies in this room who hadn’t met him before all had varying reactions to the tall, lanky bat who had just introduced himself.
Pinkie was all teeth, “WOW! He’s a bat! You’re a bat! Oh, I just had the best idea for a welcoming party!” She was certainly excited to meet him.
Fluttershy blushed; he was certainly not what she expected, but he certainly reminded her of her little furry friends. She wanted to touch those pointy ears on his head.
Applejack was not so excited. He was a bat alright, and she remembered too well that terrible time when a whole swarm nearly put her out of business. She pulled down her hat so nopony else could see her expression.
Jimmy was still smiling despite the lukewarm response. He chuckled, “That was more or less what I expected from this.”
Pinkie suddenly popped up from behind him, “Your fur is so soft!” She rubbed him with her hooves, then she opened his mouth, “Ooh! And you’ve got sharp teeth!” She closed his mouth then looked right in his eyes, “You’re a carnivore aren’t you?”
The bat was pretty nonplussed from being manhandled-- hoof-handled?-- by the hyper pink pony, “That I am and I could sure use a snack right now!” He joked while giving her one of his grins.
Pinkie snorted, “You can’t eat me silly!” She stuffed a cupcake in his mouth.
He would’ve asked where she even pulled that from but he had a cupcake currently in his mouth being broken down by saliva. He didn’t care for sweets, but he was nice enough to swallow it before responding, “Thanks, normally I have to be tied down before people start shovin’ things in my mouth!” He snickered.
She laughed at his little dirty joke, “Oh so you’re one of those guys!” She tapped his snout with her hoof before inconspicuously stuffing a card in one of his shirt pockets, then whispering, “Come by the bakery sometime, after closing hours.” She winked before hopping off his shoulder.
Fluttershy came up to Jimmy next. She was certainly intimidated by his size, “My... You’re so big... But um, I guess Harry the Bear is slightly bigger. Um, my name is Fluttershy.” She hovered near him.
He shook her right hoof, “And it is very nice meeting you, Fluttershy.”
She blushed more when he’d held her hoof. She was about to fly back to her seat when she suddenly hugged him. She sighed happily,
“Pinkie’s right, your fur is soft.” She flew back over to her spot.
Applejack was the last to approach. She tipped her stetson back to make eye contact with the tall mammal. She said the first thing that came to her mind, “Jus’ what kinda bat are you anyway?”
Jimmy smiled, “Vampire.” He showed his fangs in that not-so-innocent grin of his.
She walked around him, checking him out, “Ah see... Not a vampire fruit bat?”
Jimmy snickered, “Nah, ain’t an ounce of fruit bat in my heritage, though I do act a little fruity sometimes.” He posed for the orange pony earning much eyerolls from her.
She stood right in front of him now, “What do ya mean by fruity?”
His red eyes glinted, “I mean Ah’ve been known to guzzle a banana or two in mah time, if ya catch my drift.” He winked, putting himself down on one knee so he’d be at eye level with the farm pony. “I’m guessin’ you must be Applejack.” He pinched her nose.
AJ wasn’t bought over by his charm as quickly as the rest. She rebuffed his advances, “Yeah, that’s me! Applejack! Most dependable, most honest an’ hard-workin’ pony you’ll ever see! An’ honestly, there’s somethin’ strange about you!”
Jimmy leaned in so his snout bumped hers, “You don’t say?” The sarcasm was strong in that line, but the smiles were still genuine.
Twilight could already see the tension between them and so intervened, “And it is a great coincidence that you all decided to drop in now, Applejack.”
She pulled AJ’s tail with her magic, making the farm pony snuffle in indignation.
Applejack sighed then looked at Twilight, “Yeah? An’ why would that be?” As if she hadn’t already guessed.
Twilight smiled cheerfully as she continued speaking, “Well, as Jimmy may be living here among us for who knows how long, he’s decided he should get a job and make himself useful. And coincidentally, one of the first things he seemed most interested in was...” she nearly wilted under AJ’s unblinking gaze, those normally friendly green eyes now looking at Twi with a hint of impatience, “farm work.”
Applejack nodded, “Ah see...” She looked back at the bat, “So ya wanna work on mah farm?”
The bat smiled, “That I do. I’m from Texas, ma’am, and in Texas, we value hard work! As a representative of my state, I must represent!”
AJ smirked a little, “Well, I don’t know what Texas is, but if you’re so gung-ho for manual labor, sure... I’ll give ya a shot.” That smirk disappeared then she shoved a hoof in his chest, “But, give me one reason, jus’ one reason, an’ I won’t care how close ya are with Rainbow,
Twilight, Rarity or any of my other friends! Ah’ll boot yer flank clear outta Sweet Apple Acres!”
The bat’s eyes glowed and he tickled Applejack’s chin, “Sure... I understand completely.”
She brushed his hand away, “And that’s another thing! If you’re comin’ to work for me, ya had better show me the utmost respect! No touchin’, no whatever this is! Keep your claws to yourself! Got it?!”
Crazy Jimmy was intrigued. This one was utterly unaffected by the shard.
Good Jimmy took back control, “Yeah, I’ve got that. Thanks for th’ opportunity!”
AJ nodded before walking away, “Be at Sweet Apple Acres at 6 by tomorrow mornin’, Jimmy.” She said his name like it was a bad word.
Most everyone else shuffled nervously following the exchange between Jimmy and AJ.
Starlight broke the awkward silence, “Woo! Now that was a fun development.” She trotted around the table to Jimmy, “We’ve already met, but I feel we weren’t properly introduced.” She offered a friendly hoof to the bat, “My name is Starlight Glimmer.”
The bat smiled, “Nice to meet you, Starlight.” He kissed her hoof to show what a gentleman he was.
This made her blush, “My... If half the colts in Ponyville were this smooth.” She giggled before making herself scarce, “But it’s already getting late so I should turn in.” She trotted away, her tail noticeably held low to hide a reaction she’d had from even that brief physical contact with the bat.
Rainbow zipped over by her friend as she laughed, “Wow... Are there any mares you haven’t gotten to yet, Jimmy? Aside from Applejack.”
The bat shrugged, “Eh, it’s a gift.”
In the back of his mind, Crazy Jimmy contemplated what had just happened, “Unicorns are definitely susceptible to our power, possibly pegasi. But that Applejack, she has neither horn or wings, does this somehow make her immune? We must test this theory.”
...
Jimmy and Twilight sat together in her library after her friends had almost all gone. Rainbow stayed behind while Rarity promised to be back in the morning with Jimmy's requested accessories.
Rainbow snickered as she joined the pair, "So... ya bucked?"
Twilight blushed, "I-I thought we had cleaned up well before coming out to meet you guys."
RD put a sympathetic hoof on her friend's shoulder, "Twi, sometimes you're too adorable. Maybe the other girls couldn't tell right away, but pegasi, we've got a stronger sense of smell than the other ponies. Whatever you did to cover up, you were obviously trying too hard."
Jimmy snickered, "That's strangely convenient logic, Rainy."
Rainy rolled her pretty magenta eyes, "Yeah, it really helps if you don't think too hard about it."
Jimmy blew a raspberry, "No problem for me there."
Rainbow laughed, "Yeah, I could see that." Her smile faltered a bit, "So I guess that means you'll be staying here as Twi's 'guest'."
The bat traded glances with the alicorn. She swiftly shook her head. She definitely needed time to really think about what had happened between. Jimmy shook his head, "Nah, it's probably best that we give each other space. Not that I'm having regrets or anythin'..." He sighed, "Well, maybe a little."
The two ponies sitting with Jimmy seemed surprised to hear that from him.
Rainbow blinked twice before she spoke, "Wow, I'd almost expect Twilight to say something like that."
Twi seemed offended, "Me?"
RD scoffed, "Well, Twi, no offense, but you did used to seem kinda prudish about this stuff."
Twi's wings flared up, "I am not a prude. I've just always been so focused on my friendship studies I’ve never really made time for... The other stuff.”
RD snickered, “Whoa! Sounds like I struck a nerve, Egghead.”
Jimmy wrapped his wings around both of his friends, “Now, Jimmy is sensing a real disturbance here, and I think we could all do better if we take things down a notch.”
The two friends looked at each other before both leaned into the bat’s warm leathery wings.
Twilight smiled, “You’re right. Though, I would say I am surprised that you have regrets. You definitely don’t seem shy about this stuff.”
Jimmy snickered, “Nah, not shy in the least! Ah lost mah virginity at 14! Ah ain’t looked back since!”
Rainy snickered, “14? That’s practically like a foal!”
Jimmy shrugged, “I guess...”
Twi brushed his side with one of her wings, “Is there something wrong, Jimmy?”
The bat scoffed, “Is there anythin’ right?” He took a breath, “Twi, Rainy, y’all two are gettin’ to be good friends... Hell both of you have bedded me already.”
Twi blinked, “You too, Dash?”
The cyan pegasus blushed, “Well... We didn’t go quite as far as you Twi, but I did sorta suck his dick.” Her muzzle turned a dark purple with how bashful she became.
Twi saw her friend was embarrassed, shooting a glare at Jimmy for being so insensitive. She nuzzled Rainbow, “Hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, Rainbow. I’m clearly not, and I always thought you’d be...”
RD sighed, “It’s okay. I know I can come off as wild, but the truth is I’m probably more nervous than you about this stuff, Twily.”
Jimmy even felt bad that he’d made the pegasus feel bad. He petted her, “Guess I shoulda showed more tact, huh?”
She punched him in the ribs, “Yeah!” Then she snickered, “But I’m not mad.” Then she leaned in closer to Twilight, “I would like to say this, though. Seeing as now, apparently both me and Twi have had you, Jimmy...”
The lavender alicorn seemed to understand where her friend was going with this, “It sounds like we have ourselves the beginnings of a... of a herd.”
Jimmy’s ears twitched, “A herd?”
Twi nodded, “Yes, Jimmy. A relationship involving a single stallion and multiple mares, a herd, do they not have something like this in your Texas?”
The bat thought, “Well, it’s generally looked down upon if a guy like me is seeing two different people. But... I’ve done the polygamy thing with a couple past girlfriends, so it’s nothing new for me.” He snickered.
A big smile brightened Twilight’s face, “So... If Rainbow and I ever decided we’d want you... Would you?”
Then the bat gave a sadder smile, “As enticing as that sounds... I’ve already been feelin’ guilty about all o’ this.” He cursed, “Fuck...”
Twi showed concern while RD blushed after hearing the bat swear, “What’s wrong, Jimmy?”
The bat sighed, “What’s wrong is I haven’t been entirely upfront about this thing.” He pointed to his clothed chest, in reference to his mark.
Twi tilted her head, “Oh?”
Jimmy cringed as he kept going, “My power is not infinite... At times,” he opened up his shirt to show the mark more clearly, “This thing needs to be fed... If I don’t feed it, it grows out of control then tries to feed itself. When that happens, I become someone else...” He sighed, “Old Jimmy... Or Crazy Jimmy, the Jimmy I left behind comes out and he preys on any submissive male or female he can find. He feeds his hunger through sex. And I have noticed the effect I’ve already had around certain ponies around here...”
Then Twi understood, “So you’re afraid that what happened between us was... This other you?”
Rainbow shook her head, “That’s crazy! I know there was nothing controlling me last night, Jimmy... When I-I did what I did, I just did it because I was curious... It wasn’t some power.”
Twi interjected, “And I would know if a magic was controlling me, I’ve spent my entire foalhood studying magic!”
The bat still held doubt, “Then what do you call this?” He stuck out a claw on each hand then scratched both Twilight and Rainbow on their chins.
The reaction was instantaneous, both mares shivered from that teasing tickle of the bat’s claws.
The bat seethed while his red eyes glowed bright, “Yeah...”
Mere seconds after Jimmy’s display of his shard’s teasing magic, Twilight and Rainbow were both able to recover.
Both mares felt moisture under their rumps, they’d made a bit of a mess on the couch when Jimmy tickled their throats with his claws.
Twilight gasped as she found her voice, “That? That’s your shard?”
The bat sighed as he sat between them, watching them convulse in front of him, “That is my shard, that is how he entices prey for me so he can recharge.”
Rainbow’s cheeks were a dark violet right now, “Buck me... My own hoof doesn’t even make me this wet...”
The bat pulled on his collar as he got up, “Well, as nice as it is sharing my dark little secret with you lovely ladies... It’s probably best that I go now before things escalate any further.” Then, he turned heel and started to leave.
Twilight got down, “Jimmy, wait!” She disappeared in a flash, then reappeared in front of him, her front hooves on his chest, “You can’t just go!”
Jimmy grimaced, “Twi... I’ve already lost control once. I can’t stay.”
Twilight got angry then. She jabbed Jimmy with a hoof, “Now you listen to me, mister! That shard, whatever you call it... It may have had some influence, but I am not going to let you take away what happened between us!” She pressed a hoof to her own chest as she went on, “I’ll admit, I was a little upset, I barely know you and I let you take me to my bed... But I didn’t regret it! Don’t try to make me...” She was almost tearing up now.
Jimmy sighed, “Twilight... Every day and every night since I’ve had this thing, I’ve been fighting it. Sometimes it wins, sometimes I can control it... For these last months since I’d been with Marina, I hadn’t had to deal with Crazy Jimmy. Now, I’m here, Marina’s home in Texas wondering where I am while I’m here...” He held Twilight for a little, “I don’t trust myself around you girls...” He let her go as his eyes began to glow.
Twilight didn’t want to let him go, “Jimmy!”
His body dissipated into wind and he literally blew past Twilight before she could try to stop him.
The alicorn princess was nearly thrown off of her hooves as the bat flew out in a gust of sentient wind. After the bat was gone, Twilight sniffed, “Fine! Then go!” She finally broke down after he had left.
Rainbow knew she had to do something now.
Outside the Friendship Castle, Jimmy reformed. He took one last look at that great crystal castle, then started to walk away.
Rainbow caught up with him, “Hey!” She tackled the bat, pinning him on the ground, “Jerkface!”
He didn’t try to fight back, “What?”
RD glared with those magenta eyes of hers, “You really hurt Twilight right now... My friend is crying her eyes out and you... You really think I’m just gonna let you walk away?”
The bat moved to push RD off of him, “Rainy... I can’t stay, I’m just gonna lose control, then I’ll end up hurting everyone-”
Rainbow cut him off... with a kiss. When she broke free, “You shut up... Just shut up! Your shard, that thing might be influencing us or whatever it is you keep saying, but this morning... What I did... That was all me... That wasn’t your dumb magic. I wanted to do that, understand?”
Jimmy sighed, “I understand...”
Rainbow nuzzled him, “Now, I don’t want to hear you put yourself down anymore. You haven’t hurt me, you haven’t hurt any of us since you’ve been here and besides, we’re the freaking Elements of Harmony! We’ve fought a corrupted alicorn princess, the spirit of chaos, changelings, a power-hungry dictator... We can handle it!”
The bat conceded then laid his head back in the dirt, “If you really think so then go ahead...”
Rainy kissed him some more, holding him with her wings as she did so, “I do think so...” He licked him along his muzzle and was rewarded with the light flicker of his tongue as he reciprocated her advances. She broke their mutual kiss to gulp some of his saliva then rub her snout against his, “Now please, come home with me. It’s late and we should get some...” She kissed him again, “some sleep.”
The two friends kissed there, wrapped in each others’ wings, neither seeming very eager to break the embrace.
...
The next morning, Jimmy was up before Rainy.
His bright red eyes flickered a little when he woke up with the little pegasus laid out on top of him, smelling very much of last night’s interlude.
Somehow, this didn’t make him feel as guilty as when he’d done the same with Twilight. He really needed to get back and apologize to her.
Right now, he was content to hold Rainy and lick the salty sweat from her body.
As his tongue tickled her neck in places he’d quickly learned she liked to be licked, Rainbow woke up. She tightened her hold on her friend-turned-lover, while she let him continue to tease her with that tongue of his.
When his licks brought him closer to her mouth, Rainbow caught Jimmy between her front hooves then planted a big, sloppy wet one on him which he happily returned.
Rainbow gave one of her cute little squeaks as she soon felt something prodding at her beneath the quilts that covered their lower bodies.
Jimmy grinned and his eyes glowed as things quickly got hotter.
...
An hour later, following a shower that they shared to kill time and a hearty breakfast, as hearty as one could get in a vegetarian community anyway, Rainbow and Jimmy set off.
The cyan pegasus set her friend down as they came up to Applejack’s farm, Sweet Apple Acres.
RD gave Jimmy a few more shy nuzzles, “I’m not gonna say this is love, not right away. But I do feel like this is a good start.” Then she had to go to work, “I’ll see you later, Jimmy!”
He watched her as she quickly disappeared into the distance, “It’s not love... But yeah, it is nice.” He let himself smile before turning to walk up to the Apple farm.
A big red stallion was out front, hauling a heavy wagon of farming equipment when the bat walked up.
Jimmy was his usual friendly self, “Howdy!”
Big Macintosh nodded, “Mhm.”
The bat nodded back, “I was told I could find some work here! Name’s Jimmy Lee Darrell, ah spoke with a relative o’ yours, Applejack?”
The stallion nodded, “Eeyup! Mah sister’s inside! Ah’ll get her f’r ya.”
“No need, Big Mac!” The orange farm pony trotted out of their farmhouse, donning her trademark brown stetson.
The bat offered a hearty wave to AJ, “Good mornin’, neighbor!”
She hmmphed as she walked up to him, not intimidated at all by him being twice her size, “Yer early... I said 6 in the mornin’, yer here a half-hour before.”
Jimmy smiled smugly, “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a bat healthy, wealthy and wise!” He winked at her playfully, “And it does wonders for mah complexion too!”
She nodded with skepticism, “Uh-huh... Well, yer here, so ah guess ah c’n git ya started. Come along!”
Jimmy followed Applejack as she led him through her family’s apple orchard.
As they went along, AJ spoke, “Just so ya know, we all run a tight ship ‘round here! Everypony here shifts their own weight, understand?”
Jimmy was still all smiles, “Yes, I understand.”
She nodded, “Good, suppose ah should tell ya about the rest o’ mah family since you’ll lahkly be seein’ them too while here. Ya already met mah brother, Big Macintosh. Don’t say much, but he’s a hard worker, if it ain’t me on your sorry rump, it’s gonna be him.”
The bat nodded, “Mhm, gotcha!”
AJ kept going, “There’s also mah sister, Apple Bloom an’ her friends. Their clubhouse is out here on the farm, so they spend much of their time here when they’re not at school.” She stopped then looked back at him in a semi-friendly manner, “Just watch yourself with them. Them three fillies mean more ta me than they’ll ever realize. So believe me, if one of them comes runnin’ ta me cause ya hurt their feelin’s... There won’t be a hole ya could dig yerself in to hide from me!”
Jimmy shivered, “Woo, I felt that... Alright, I promise to tread lightly around your sister and her friends. I’m good with kids anyway! Kids love ol’ Jimmy!” He snickered.
AJ rolled her eyes while she laughed a little. He did have that winning personality, even if he did come off as annoying. He almost reminded her of Discord, but slightly less abrasive.
Applejack stopped by a prime apple tree which had a few baskets laid out around its base. “Well, here we are!”
Jimmy saw the baskets, then watched as Applejack laid out a few more around some more trees. How had he not noticed her carrying that many baskets the whole way? He must have been looking at the cute butt of hers with that sashaying knotted tail of hers. Jimmy always did have a thing for blonds.
Applejack cleared her throat, “Ahem! Now ah do recall sayin’ ah expect your utmost respect, that includes not starin’ at my flank like some horny colt.”
The bat shook his head, “Oh yes, of course! My apologies! It seems even among ponykind I can’t help lookin’ at a nice butt.” He snickered before withering under AJ’s stern gaze.
She rolled her eyes, “Whatever...” She trotted up to one of the trees, “Now if you’re gonna be starin’, ah hope you’ll at least catch a pointer or two... And don’t be takin’ that in any dirty way! Don’t think ah don’t know how the colt mind works, Mister!”
Jimmy snickered, “Somethin’ tells me you musta been the most popular filly in school, AJ.”
The orange mare blushed a little from that comment, “Nah... ‘course not! Rare always had th’ best looks outta us fillies.” She caught herself, “But that never leaves here, hear me! Ah couldn’t imagine the look on her face if she heard her best friend was a... A filly fooler.”
Jimmy made a zipping motion, “Mah lips ‘re sealed, so are you gonna show me how ya Apples harvest your apples?”
Applejack nodded, “Yeah...” she shook her head, “Yeah! Let’s get to it!” She turned around, “Now pay close attention! There is a special technique we Apples use to get them apples down: we call it applebuckin’.” She reared up on her front hooves then bucked the tree trunk with both back legs.
The single hard buck was enough to shake the tree, causing all the gorgeous red fruits to fall into the baskets below.
Jimmy nodded without a single hint of smugness or sarcasm, “Wow, impressive. And you do that all day, every day?” He crossed his wings as a smirk spread across his muzzle, “No wonder you got them nice legs.”
AJ glared at him, “One more outta you, Mister, and I’ll show ya how hard ah can buck yer apples!”
Jimmy snickered, "Yeah, nothin' worse than bruised apples."
Applejack laughed a little, "Okay, now let's see how you can buck!"
The bat couldn't help himself, "Well, if you wanna see mah buckin' so bad, we could jus' go behind the barn an-"
"THAT'S IT!" Applejack stayed true to her word and she bucked Jimmy hard in the groin.
...
A couple minutes later, the bat sat with his back against a tree and a bag of ice pressed against his crotch, "Okay... I definitely deserved that."
A little yellow filly giggled at his pain, "Dang! You're lucky Big Sis didn't buck ya to the moon!"
Two other fillies sat around Jimmy.
The orange pegasus on the right side of him laughed, "Makes me glad I wasn't born a colt!"
Right in front of Jimmy sat a little white unicorn, her horn glowing lime-green while she held the ice for him, "Just be glad my big sister already likes you, Mr. Jimmy."
The bat snickered nervously, "Then I guess you must be Rarity's sis. Howdy!" He held out a friendly hand for the three fillies.
The trio just looked at his strange winged hand then back up at him. They each smiled then they introduced themselves.
The yellow earth pony, "Howdy! Name's Apple Bloom!"
The orange pegasus, "I'm Scootaloo!"
Then the white unicorn, who Jimmy thought looked just like her big sister, just with different colored hair, "And I'm Sweetie Belle!"
Then all three of them made some dramatic superhero team pose as they shouted "And we're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!"
Jimmy snickered, "Cutie Mark Crusaders?"
Apple Bloom posed proudly, "That's right! The CMC! Selflessly devoted to helping our fellow ponies find their purpose in life!"
Scootaloo corrected her, "Fellow creatures, Apple Bloom, now that we've got a griffon on our team!"
AB giggled, "Oops! Yeah, you're right!"
Sweetie Belle hopped onto Jimmy's lap, "Speaking of, Mr. Jimmy, are you someone who's looking for a purpose in your life?"
The bat snickered, "What, are y'all gonna talk to me about your pony-version of Jesus or somethin', 'cause I'm already Catholic!"
Sweetie tilted her head, "I have no idea what you just said, but we were just wondering about you and what's your purpose?"
Jimmy petted the unicorn filly, "Well, my purpose is just to live life. Don't worry about the little things and just enjoy being alive."
Sweetie Belle giggled, "In other words, you're lazy!"
Jimmy didn't argue that, "Yeah..."
AJ came back at that moment. The farm pony carried a bucket of water with her, "Well? You think you've learned your lesson about respectin' mah boundaries, Jimmy?"
The bat nodded, "Oh yeah, I've learned alright!"
AJ put down the water, "Here, have yourself a drink." She looked to the CMC, "And you gals, thanks for helpin' out with Jimmy here. Y'all three can go now."
Apple Bloom frowned, "Aw Sis, but we're just getting to know him."
Scootaloo agreed, "We've never seen anypony else like him!"
Sweetie squeaked, "Plus he's funny!"
AJ sighed, "Fine, y'all can stay. But Jimmy and me are gonna have some grown up talk, okay?"
The CMC all groaned in unison, "Okay..."
So she none-too-gently nudged Jimmy with her right front hoof, "So, are ya gonna get up, do some work an' stop bein' a perv? I'll agree with the girls here. You're a funny guy, but a might rude for my sensibilities. I'm willin' ta give ya the benefit of the doubt though. If ya can make it through the rest of the day without makin' some inappropriate comments, Ah'll pay ya for the whole day's work. It's the least I can do."
Jimmy nodded, "Damn, hearin' ya right now reminds me of one of my old friends back home. And yes, I'm gonna do the work, and I'll try to be more respectful. I understand my brand of humor ain't everyone's cup o' tea."
AJ smiled and tipped her hat to him, "That's all I ask. Now, why don't ya get up an' show me how ya can buck."
Jimmy bit back one of his pervy comments as he got up, "Alrighty!" The bat walked up to one of these trees while AJ set up baskets around its base. He looked up, "Right, so I'm supposed to just kick it?"
Applejack scoffed, "Applebuckin' ain't just kickin', Jimmy. It's a little more complicated. What y'all wanna do is rear up an'... actually, you're a two-legged critter so maybe our method wouldn't work for you? Core body strength an' all that."
The bat untied his ponytail then took off his fancy cowboy shirt that Rarity made for him, "Core body strength? Es no problema!" The bat flexed. He wasn't super buff, but he had a good six-pack abs, fine musculature and good attitude to go with it all.
AJ had to avert her eyes. The bat's half-exposed body struck her where his charm hadn't. She coughed into a hoof, "Well then, why don't ya show me how you'd do it then?"
The bat did not miss the little reaction he'd gotten. Crazy Jimmy in the back of his mind, "So she likes a man with some muscle, huh?" Jimmy cleared his throat, "Yes, ma'am! Will do!" The bat took on a combat stance then, while channeling some of his shard energy, he hit the trunk of the tree with a couple strong roundhouse kicks.
Those couple kicks knocked the apples loose and they all fell into the baskets below.
Jimmy threw his arms up, "Whoo!"
AJ nodded, "Nice, but uh, not very Apple... if ya don't mind mah sayin'."
Jimmy shrugged, "That's fair, don't think I could take kickin' trees all day anyway. You got somethin' ah could do with my hands, though? I can do some heavyliftin'."
Applejack gave a little hum before she agreed, "Yeah, that would suit ya a little better. Ya can go find Big Mac. He'll get ya started."
The bat nodded, "Right! And thanks for givin' me the shot, AJ!" He threw his shirt over his shoulder, tied his hair back up then walked off.
AJ watched him go until she realized her eyes had drifted a little below the waist. She shook her head, "Get a hold o' yerself, girl... he ain't even a pony."
...
It was a full day of hard work for Jimmy after that.
Big Mac, though short on words, he was without a doubt more patient with the wisecracking vampire bat than his sister had been.
Of course, Jimmy made no shortage or secret of naughty jokes at the red stallion's expense.
Big Mac took it all in stride, even chuckled heartily to some of Jimmy's off-color humor.
Jimmy also proved to be a competent worker, carrying heavy crates or barrels, lightening Macintosh's workload for him.
By the time Celestia's sun had sunk in the distance, turning the sky from blue to purple with an orange tint, Jimmy, Mac and AJ all sat in the shade behind the barn.
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle had gone home, while Apple Bloom came over to join the adults.
"Woo-wee! Today was a rough 'un!" The growing filly caterwauled before sitting down next to Jimmy.
So now Jimmy found himself surrounded by Apples. Not a bad development, he thought to himself. He stretched out his wings and engulfed whoever was closest in a big winghug.
Applejack swept the sweat from her brow, "That it was, AB. An' Jimmy, Mac told me how much of a help ya were." She turned then pulled a sack of bits from her saddlebag. She dropped it in the bat's lap, "There's your pay, like ah promised. "
Jimmy accepted it with that friendly fangy grin of his, "Thanks! Now I can payback Rarity for these nice clothes she made for me."
AJ laughed, "Yer real dead set on that, huh?"
The bat held a hand to his broad chest, "Of course I am. I told her I would find a way to properly thank her for her selfless hard work, and Jimmy Lee Darrell never goes back on his word. Never, not ever!"
AJ chuckled, "Sounds like you an' Pinkie'd get along jus' fine! Pinkie Pie has her Pinkie Promises."
All three apples, even Big Mac, recited the oath, "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"
The bat nodded with a goofy grin, "I like that..."
There was a silence while the four of them sat together.
Jimmy opened up the bag he'd just been given, "So, what do y'all call money in this place, for curiosity's sake?"
AJ answered him, "We call it bits."
The bat looked at one of the glittery coins, "Why this is... solid gold." He looked at AJ, "Ya guys really use solid gold as currency?"
AJ shrugged, "Yup, always have. Why? Ain't they got gold in Texas?"
Jimmy held up the coin, "Sure we have gold, but not enough that we can use it as regular money. Our money is made from copper, nickel, paper or plastic."
AJ was intrigued, "Interestin'."
At that moment, the group heard the distinctive flapping of wings as a certain blue pegasus set down before them.
Applejack greeted their visitor, "Hey there, Rainbow!"
RD greeted her friend, "Hey, AJ! Are you ready to come home, Jimmy?"
AJ tilted her head, "Come home? Jimmy's stayin' with you, RD?"
She nodded with a bashful smile, "Yeah, that's right. He's got wings, can't use them to fly but, it means he can stay with me with no worry of falling through the floor."
The bat interjected, "And she was kinda the first to offer me a place to stay, AJ."
The orange farm pony nodded while she rubbed her blond mane, "Well, that is mighty big o' ya, RD." She tried to hide her own blush, "And I guess we'll all see ya tomorrow, Jimmy."
Jimmy waved goodbye to Applejack, Big Mac and Apple Bloom, "Yeah, see y'all tomorrow!"
...
It was already night by the time Jimmy and Rainbow made it home.
As they came in Rainbow stopped to whisper something to him, "Jimmy, before we go any further, I forgot to mention that we're having company over."
Just as she had said that, Twilight came in to the main foyer of the house, having been waiting for the pair to come back, "Good evening, Jimmy, Rainbow."
The bat for once felt uneasy, "Twi... um, you're here?"
She gave a cute smirk, "Well, I do have wings, so of course I can walk around Rainbow's house with no problem, so yes I am here." She walked up to the two of them, "And before you say anything, I just want you to know, I understand now."
The bat backed up a little, "You understand?"
Twi nodded, "Yes, Rainbow and I had a chance to talk and... I was still pretty upset with how you left last night. Now I think I understand. You're not really upset because of your shard magic."
Jimmy's long ears flopped back, "I'm not?"
Twilight smiled, "Yes, I believe the real reason you're upset is because of your feelings for Marina."
The bat furrowed his brow at the mention of his girlfriend's name, "What about her?"
Now Twi could sense the tension coming from him, but she still persevered, "Rainbow spent our time telling me about your friends you had before coming here. When she told me how you spoke about Marina, I felt I understood. You're here alone, you're worried what she may think of you giving yourself to somepony else when you two have been separated. Believe me, I think I know how you feel."
Jimmy got on his knees so he could be at eye level with her, "And how would you know?"
Twilight blushed, "Because once upon a time, I myself had been a visitor to another dimension where I met a group of friends who were all very similar to my friends here. I got so close with them, but then I had to come home and even now I feel guilty for leaving Sunset in the human world, I mean, I know she seems perfectly happy there, but can you just imagine completely disregarding your own homeworld?"
Jimmy raised an eyebrow, "I uh couldn't at all figure how any of that pertained to me, but I get the gist of it. Look, I guess yeah I have been feeling a little guilty about Marina. I mean, before her, I'd lived a pretty hedonistic life. I'd drink myself silly, smoke loads of pot and fuck all the cutest guys or girls I could nab. Then I met Marina, the one girl I loved so much I was willing to give up my old ways just to make a life with her. Now, after all of that devotion, all of that work, building that trust with her, she's gone and I'm here gettin' turned on by colorful ponies."
Twilight patted him softly, "You were ready to forsake all other males and females, just for her. She really sounds like someone special."
He laughed, "And she even told me, I didn't have to do that for her, she wanted me to keep up my old polygamous ways, but I didn't want that. Marina Roosevelt, a female who gave up life in her own world just to stay with me."
Twi nuzzled him, "She is also from another dimension? Funny how that gets around." Then she kissed him, "If... if you don't wish to pursue any further relations, not with me or any of us, we can understand."
Jimmy suddenly caught Twilight in his wings, as that sinful grin of his now spread across his face, "On the other hand... Marina is on Earth, and I'm here so... I might as well enjoy myself." His eyes glowed bright red as he flipped the princess onto her back then straddled her waist before licking along her neckline.
Twilight blushed with arousal as things suddenly flipped on her. "Oh! Oh my... is this Bad Jimmy?"
The bat looked up, "That's Crazy Jimmy and yeah..." He pounced on her, giving the alicorn a deep tongue kiss which about took her breath away.
Rainbow shuffled nervously as the two quickly got hot and heavy. She began to back away when Twi suddenly broke the kiss.
The lavender alicorn had a glazed look in her eyes, "Rainbow... get your sexy flank over here, your herd needs you too."
RD blushed dark purple then gulped, "Uh yeah... okay."
Crazy Jimmy snickered, "Herd... I like that word."
As soon as Rainy had gotten close, the bat pounced her too before pulling her into the pile before she had any second thoughts.
So now, Jimmy had a herd.
“Oh Celestia! Fuck me...” The Princess of Friendship licked her lips. Oh how they tingled as she let that filthy swear slip through. Her horn glowed bright as it erupted in unfocused unicorn magic all over herself and her twitching lover beneath her.
Jimmy’s eyes and his tattoo glowed brightly while his body absorbed Twi’s magic and her sexual energy through their conjoined parts.
Feeling her spray him down with her tingly, tickly warmth pushed the bat into his own climax. He pulled down on the alicorn’s hips, held her bodacious flanks tight as he erupted inside her.
Twi eventually rolled off to Jimmy’s right and onto her back. She was then promptly pounced by their third bedmate, Rainbow.
The cyan pegasus had sat back to watch her two herdmembers make love, now she was gonna get her piece of the action. She locked muzzles instantly with Twilight, earning herself an equally impassioned hug and kiss from the princess.
Jimmy looked at them now while they delved into one another. The bat was feeling less and less guilty with each passing day now. Even not in direct contact, he was absorbing their lust and feeding his shard. He held up one of his hands and gave a quick flick of his wrist. With no effort, a ball of pure wind formed in his palm.
And still he wondered, was he truly the only one of his kind in this world?
...
On the outskirts of Ponyville, under the same tree Jimmy had first appeared, a black shape slid out from the shadows. The thing came to a stop underneath the starry night sky.
It then started to take shape before a voice uttered, “Ugh! This is getting boring!”
A big puff of smoke filled the area, then as the fumes cleared, there stood a 6 foot-tall white fox with black tips on his ears, his paws, his muzzle, but more importantly, on each of his three tails.
The handsome, foppish kitsune posed until he realized there was no one to gaze upon his sheer vulpine beauty. Then, with a snap of his fingers, and another resultant puff of smoke, his kimono appeared, which he tied tight to his thin form. With a few clacks of his wooden sandals to get some stiffness out of his legs, the fox was on his way, on the lookout for any indication as to where he’s popped up.
The fox waltzed casually through the dreaded Everfree Forest, not knowing about the creatures that dwelt here. Then again, he himself once lived near an ancient enchanted forest full of strange creatures, so he wouldn’t be in for much of a surprise.
Lo and behold, a brutish manticore leapt out of the shadows at the seemingly defenseless fox. He saw it, “Mmm, Manticores are real in this world? Fascinating!”
The large animal lunged at him with its big paws.
The fox was quick to defend himself.
At his waist hung his three magic charms; he tapped the middle one then directed his free paw towards the attacking predator. A plume of fire blew out, incinerating the manticore’s face, burning its whiskers clean off and stunning the animal.
It fell upon its side, groaning in pain following its failed attack.
The kitsune crouched over his fallen attacker, “Pitiful... And I thought you would put up a fight.” He promptly turned tail then walked away.
Deeper into the forest, the lone zebra, Zecora had just gone to sleep in her hut when she sensed a new visitor, with a scent entirely new to her.
The striped equine yawned, “A strange new visitor to see me, strange hour for he or she, but I am sworn to help and guide, any pony or creature that is outside.” She pulled her self out of bed.
Outside, the strange three-tailed fox had stumbled upon this hut. He was definitely not surprised to find someone living this far inside. He had to wonder if they were in anyway as hospitable as the weasel clans of his homeland.
Before he could think any further, the door on the small hut swung open. The fox did not panic or try to hide. If he was to know his surroundings, he would have to befriend the locals. He stood his ground, magical charm at ready in case of attack.
Zecora stepped out into the night-smothered forest, a lantern carried high over her head to lighten the area around her. “Who comes to see Zecora at this hour? Rising to the night like a stubborn flower.”
The fox stepped forward to reveal himself, “Greetings. Seeing you, am I to assume equines are the dominant species of this land?”
The zebra gave a kind smile, “This you are correct to assume... Ah... Couldn’t rhyme that one.”
The fox returned the smile, “Good to meet you, Zecora. I am Yuki Hasegawa, though you could just call me Yuki.” He bowed politely to his current host, his sapphire blue eyes denoting the kind spirit behind them.
The zebra tapped her muzzle with a hoof, “You speak well, I can tell. Tell Zecora this, from whence are you amiss?”
The fox maintained a polite demeanor, “I hail from the planet Earth; my country is a beautiful little archipelago called Japan. I wonder if you have seen any other folk like me, two-legged, sentient animals.”
The zebra nodded, “I have heard of one, but have yet to see him,” a light blush spread across her cheeks, “he has his mares keeping his attention to them.”
Yuki chuckled, “Kinda stretching the rhyme on that last one.”
Zecora chuckled, “Yes, it is not as easy as it looks, to properly align the best hooks.”
The fox leaned in, “Ah-huh, and pray tell, where may I find this other fellow?” He explained himself before the inevitable question, “He is an old friend, and I wish to speak with him.”
The zebra was suspicious that this stranger, this fox was so eager to meet with, as far as she knew, the only other sentient furre in the area. She maintained a friendly smile, however, “On the morrow, Zecora can take you, but it is night, all of Ponyville bids adieu. Zecora...” She approached the fox, “can offer you somewhere to rest, until morning you leave with zest.”
Yuki smiled softly, “This sounds fair.”
So Zecora, against her better judgment, allowed the fox into her hut and for his part he was a gracious, appreciative guest.
...
Come the next morning, the fox lay nude with the zebra’s warm body pressed against him. His blue eyes and the mark on his chest glowed as he absorbed Zecora’s repressed emotions.
The zebra nuzzled him as she woke, “Zecora thanks you, traveler... I’ve not enjoyed a male’s company in some time.”
The fox wrapped his three bushy tails around her and he cuddled with her, “That a lovely female like you has not found a proper mate, ‘tis such a crime.”
She giggled when he finished her rhyme for her. She whipped him playfully with her own tail, “I may have enjoyed myself, I may even ask for more next time we meet, but the marrying type I am not.” She didn’t even attempt a rhyme this time, she was simply too content. “Thank you.”
Following a healthy breakfast, Yuki had redressed himself then, with a friendly kiss goodbye for the zebra, he was out.
...
Meanwhile, Jimmy and his two new marefriends were up and at ‘em.
Since they became a ‘herd’ as they called it, their little trio had become nigh inseparable for these past few days.
The bat was still able to make work at Sweet Apple Acres, and during those times his budding friendship with Applejack and Big Mac had grown.
Rarity had been making more clothes for him so he would have a full wardrobe and not be wearing the same clothes more than once per day.
Jimmy had even had time to chat and make friends with Spike and Starlight.
Jimmy currently sat in the library, flanked by Twi and Rainy while he read a book, “Man, that Daring Do sure is somethin’.”
Rainy snickered while she read her own copy of the same book, “Yeah, this is my favorite one yet.”
Twi was working, but still making time for her herdmates. She was writing some important documents for Princess Celestia. Occasionally, she would stretch a wing out then playfully brush Jimmy’s side with her flight feathers.
Rainy laughed, “Look who’s letting herself get distracted now, Ms. Freak-Out.”
Twi stuck her tongue out at Rainbow, “Rainy, I am not letting myself get distracted; I am multitasking.”
Starlight came in at that moment, “Twilight!”
The teacher acknowledged her apprentice, “Yes, Star?
Star presented a scroll to the princess, wrapped in the familiar red ribbon that Celestia always used, “This message just came through... Spike was making pancakes and he spewed magical flames all over the cookware, now we need new pans, but anyway, I brought this to you right away!”
Twilight took the scroll from Star, “Ah, thank you, Starlight and” She withdrew a bit bag from somewhere Jimmy couldn’t see, “This should be enough for new cookware.”
Star took it, “Thanks, Twilight, and hello again to you, Jimmy.” She blushed as she bowed her head politely to the bat. She quickly made herself scarce before she could embarrass herself around him.
Jimmy snickered, “I guess I got it for all the mares in town.”
Twi booped his snout, “It certainly seems so.”
Rainbow rubbed her chin, “Me, Twi, Star and Jimmy...”
Twi through a weary eye to her marefriend, “Rainbow, what have I told you about fantasizing about our friends?”
RD snickered, “Don’t do it out loud?”
The princess smirked, “Yeah, that will have to do.” She untied the ribbon then opened her scroll from Celestia.
Dear Princess Twilight,
My sister and I have sensed another surge of power coming from Ponyville. Another being similar to your new house guest seems to have appeared as we’d suspected. We urgently request to meet with you and Mr. Darrell. We’ll already be on our way by carriage when this letter reaches you.
Your friend, Celestia
Twilight’s pretty purple eyes shrunk, “The princesses are coming here...”
Jimmy leaned in, “Say that again?”
She clapped her front hooves over her cheeks, “Oh my gosh, the princesses are coming!” She pounced on Jimmy, pinning him, “Celestia and Luna have sensed another being, someone like you. They are coming right now to discuss the matter, YOU’RE GOING TO MEET MY MENTOR AND HER SISTER!”
Rainbow, thankfully, was there to calm her marefriend’s nerves, “Easy, Twi! You just about went into crazy mode again.”
Twilight shook her head, “Oh... Oh yeah, thanks, Rainy.”
Jimmy laughed following his brief assault, “And besides, didn’t I say before I already met Luna?”
RD blinked then looked at him, “Whoa, really?”
Twilight booped his snout, “You met her in a dream. Now you’re going to see her in person, and I am hoping you can behave yourself in front of them. These are the two most important ponies in all of Equestria! Everypony looks up to them!”
Jimmy snickered, “And from what I’ve heard from Rainy, the two of them are actually pretty chill and down to earth, so I wouldn’t worry. Besides, I’ve met royalty before. I had dinner with an emperor, and my girlfriend back home is technically a princess too. She’s a chieftain’s daughter, so that sorta counts right?”
Twilight had to know, “Marina, the same Marina we’ve talked about before? She’s a daughter of a chief? What’s her species?”
The bat smiled, “Otter. I always had an affinity for the mustelid types. Mm-mm, you don’t know life until you’ve been with a girl who could bend herself back and touch her heels with her tongue. You’d like her if ya met her, she’s smart and loves to read like you.” Then he pulled Rainbow over, “And she loves being athletic like Rainy here, heck there’s even a little Rarity in her. That girl has a fashion sense you wouldn’t believe.” He held his two marefriends close.
Rain leaned into his embrace, “Does she have magic like you?
He shook his head, “Nah... She used to, but she had her powers taken away because she, like me, did some bad things in the past and she hurt some people.”
Twilight leaned in, “Really? What exactly happened?”
Jimmy sighed, “Well, to make a long story short, she gave herself to someone she thought loved her. Instead he only used her because she was the chief’s daughter. She wound up hurt, but instead of blaming herself for being taken in, she blamed all males for her heartaches and so spent most of her life harming males using her magic. She finally went too far and so was stripped of her power, then that was when we met. You already know my history, and well, we, two former bad people, we just bonded.”
Rainbow whistled, “Whoo... The air in here just got heavier... So what do you say we go out and get ready for those princesses, huh?” She nudged Jimmy in an attempt to break the solemn atmosphere.
Jimmy’s ears stood back up and he smiled, “Sure.”
...
Meanwhile, Zecora trotted casually into Ponyville accompanied by her vulpine companion.
The great white kitsune looked about as he came into this small burg. He felt his heart flutter upon seeing the simpleness of it, “My...”
Zecora looked up when she heard him, “What troubles you, fair Yuki? What gives you feelings so spooky?”
The fox’s blue eyes brightened as he smiled, “Nothing troubles me at all... It’s just seeing this...” He almost began to cry, “It reminds me so much of my own village.” He saw the many ponies walking about and it did indeed remind him of his old village, a village of all foxes like him. Many knew him, many respected him, his parents left him in wealth when they’d passed away, he himself was on his way to becoming a strong warrior for his village... Then she...
“Oops! Excuse me!” A minty green unicorn bumped into him.
Yuki stepped aside, “Oh no, I was not paying attention. The fault is all mine, Miss...”
The unicorn looked at him, “Oh my gosh! You’re another one aren’t you? Just like Twilight’s new coltfriend!” She put her two front hooves on him, “My name’s Lyra! Hi!” The blush in her cheeks showed easy through her bright green fur.
The fox looked to Zecora who only offered a comical smile and a shrug. He looked down at the unicorn, “Well... I am Yuki... You’re saying you have seen someone like me?”
She nodded happily, “Yeah, Jimmy! He’s really nice. He pets me whenever he comes by the sweet shop where Bon Bon and I live. If I weren’t already committed, I’d pounce him for sure.” She giggled, “What about you?”
Zecora cleared her throat, “He is with me, wild one.” Again, she didn’t attempt a rhyme. One wasn’t necessary for this exchange, she could moderate herself.
Yuki kindly held the hyper unicorn’s hooves, “Jimmy is staying with this Twilight? Where may I find him. I’ve come a long way to see him.”
Lyra pointed, “You’ll find him at the Castle of Friendship, it’s the big crystal building at the edge of town.”
That uncultured rat with wings is living in a castle? He thought to himself before he smiled genially to the unicorn, “Well then, I know where I must go next. Where may I find this castle?”
Lyra smiled the brightest smile, “Oh, you can’t miss it! It’s that big giant crystal tree at the edge of town!” She pointed past him with one hoof. “But, I doubt you’ll get in. It is a castle after all, and Twi’s a princess, so ya can’t just go up and talk to her.”
The fox stood up, “Oh, it’s fine by me. I’ve dealt with royalty, I’m sure I can get her to see me.”
Lyra shrugged, “Alright, don’t say I didn’t warn ya!” Then she trotted away.
Yuki exhaled, “Well, shall we go to this castle, Zecora?”
The zebra nodded, “Ms. Heartstrings speaks words pure and true, to speak with a princess, even one as humble as Twilight, you don’t just do. Luckily, Zecora is a good friend with the princess, I can help you with great success.”
The fox chuckled, “Zecora, my friend, you have just rhymed cess with cess... Your rhyming is off.” He laughed more as he walked off.
The zebra hummed lightly from the fox’s playful barb, “Cheeky.”
Just then, horns sounded from high above.
Both kitsune and zebra stopped upon the road to see a great golden chariot being pulled through the sky above them by a sextet of armored pegasi.
Riding the chariot were the two sisters themselves, Celestia and Luna.
A few of the ponies called out, “Look, the princesses!”
Zecora rubbed her chin, “Interesting. A royal visit from our benevolent rulers.” She was indeed becoming more comfortable with rhyming less and less around this strange fox.
Yuki just watched as these princesses flew away in the distance of the castle. Just one of this world’s monarchs would have been a fair challenge for the fox, now two more have appeared.
...
The double doors into the main foyer of the Castle of Friendship swung open as the royal sisters entered with their armored regiment of guards.
Twilight Sparkle, her student, Starlight Glimmer and Twi’s marefriend, Rainbow Dash all came out to greet the princesses.
Twilight was especially ecstatic to see them, “Celestia, Luna! I am so, so happy the two of you could make the time to come see us.”
The great white alicorn stood over her prized pupil, her glorious mane and tail flowing despite there being no wind whatsoever inside the castle. She nodded politely to Twilight, “It is always good for us to see each other, my dear Twilight. But, my letter should have informed you that things here are more urgent. Before, we get to all of this, however, where is your house guest whom you speak so well of in your letters?”
Starlight answered with a playful roll of her eyes, “Oh, Jimmy wanted us to go ahead so he could properly introduce himself in his own way.”
Just then, Spike ran out into the foyer, dressed in a little butler outfit that the bat had made him put on just for fun. The dragon had a very tired expression on his face. He cleared his throat, “Presenting, his awesomeness, Jimmy Lee Darrell... Ta-da...”
And with that rather lackluster presentation, a sudden gust of wind tore through the lobby, disturbing the five mares and one dragon currently inhabiting the room. The sentient gust of wind struck down upon the floor inches away from princesses and their royal guards.
The guards stood at ready, but neither Celestia or Luna seemed alarmed. They seemed to know an act when they saw one.
The wind took solid form until it became the bat known as Jimmy. His big ears wiggled comically as he stood up straight before the two sisters and their guards.
Luna had to suppress a giggle; she was already taken by how shamelessly conceited this bat was to make such an overblown entrance, literally.
Celestia seemed less amused, though she did allow a smirk to show through.
The bat smiled while his red eyes glowed bright and his fangs glinted in the light of the room. Finally, after all of that, he spoke, “Howdy! Name’s Jimmy, Jimmy Lee Darrell and I...” He swiftly took a knee then swept his right wing so it covered him almost like a cape as he bowed before the regal sisters, “I am humbled to be in the presence of two great public figures as yourselves.”
Luna was impressed, “For such a boisterous entrance, thou dost prostrate yourself well before royalty it seems.”
The bat snickered, “I’m a hyperactive sack of ADHD, that’s for sure, but I can behave myself, no problem.” He extended a friendly wing to the two alicorn princesses.
The sisters both traded playful glances before Celestia stepped forward then placed her right forehoof in the bat’s winged hand.
Jimmy kissed it like the proper gentleman he was, “Encantada, Princesa.” He waggled those goofy eyebrows of his, “That’s enchanted, Princess.”
Celestia blushed from the bat’s general playfulness, “My... I can’t say I’ve ever met a stallion so bold as to even kiss a royal hoof. Not even the nobility would stoop there; they’re too busy trying to dig up every little scandalous thing they can about me.” She tittered, “You didn’t mention him being like this in your dreams, Sister.”
Luna blushed enough to turn her face a bright cyan, “I did not find it pertinent, Celestia.”
Twilight was immensely surprised with how well the bat carried himself before the two most important ponies in all of Equestria. She cleared her throat, “Excuse my interrupting, but now that we are all well met, I would like for us all to retire to the dining room now so we may all speak about this pressing matter you wished to speak of, Celestia and Luna.”
Celestia smiled, “Yes, let us reconvene, then we can all sit back and talk at leisure.”
