I step back and rub my eyes a couple of times and look back inside the bush to see if I was or was not seeing things. It is going to take me a while to post the next couple of chapters because I have some plans and some other stuff to take care of. After making all of the recipes I decide to bring all of them to Applejack to see if any would work, but twilight stoped me before I could walk out the door. "Brian, there is something not right with this book. There seems to be a page that is so old, I can barely make out the words. The only letter I could get out of one of the main word is that it begins with an L." "How weird. But then again you do have a lot of old books in your library Twilight." "That is what also is confusing, this book is not even a year old. It has not even been in here for a year." "Hhhmmmm, well that is confusing" I say before I push my way past Twilight.
I run all the way back to the farm with the recipes. I run into the house towards Applejacks room. I stop when I get right next to Applejack. I set all of the recipes down on the table in her room and look at her again. She was still in the coma. I grab one of the recipes and give it to her. Nothing happens. I grab another recipes to see if this one will work. Like the last, I didn't work.
I do this for the next couple of minutes, testing every recipe I had with me and all of them failing. I look at applejack with fear of if she will ever wake up. I then remember the page twilight had told me about and how the main word started with an L. I search thru my mind of what started with L that could wake her up. 'Lotion? No that can't be it. Um . . . Location? How would that make sense! Um . . . Love?' I look at Applejack and wonder to myself if love could be the answer to this problem, how a simple kiss could have woken her up. I look at Applejack and think what could I possibly lose. I walk up to Applejack and look at her. How she looked so beutiful to me that no one else could see. I lean in and look into her closed eyelids. I then look at her lips and decide to do it. I lean in closer to her and grab the back of her head to bring her closer. Our lips conected as I felt something I never felt before. I couldn't even describe how it felt.
After a couple of minutes of kissing her I felt a whoof move towards my head. I didn't care if it was someone elses whoof, I just staired into Applejacks eyes seeing if anything will happen. Slowly her eyelids started to twitch. As I watched this, the whoof reached to top of my head and either pushed or pulled me closer to Applejack. Slowly her eyes started to open looking into mine. We both staired at each other kissing for another five minutes before I backed away. She stood up and wobbled around like she was drunk, but I knew that it was probably a side affect from not moving for so long. She was confused from the start at what time it was, why she felt this way, and also why I was in her room. I told her the story of what happened and how long she has been out and how I woke her up with a kiss. She staired at me some more with a blush getting brighter on her face. I looked at her feeling the blush on my face as well. We leaned in and started to kiss. As we were kissing the rest of the Apple family besides Applebloom walked in. They were shocked at what we were doing besides Big Macintosh who just noded at what we were doing. Not minding all the eyes stairing at us, we just kept kissing till someone made a noise. We stopped and looked at the door. Every pair of eyes was on us. We then tried to explain to them what was happening and how me and Applejack have been in a relationship for a while now all the way to now, again leaving out the sex as a secret. As every eye went from me to Applejack to me they acted the same way the others did, they just congratulated to me and Applejack.
After an hour they all left and again me and Applejack were left in her room stairing at each other with hot red blushes on our faces. We both decided that we should both sleep in one room to keep each other company for the night. We staired at each other until we both went to sleep.
When I woke up I still felt Applejack there. I looked at my watch only to notice it was noon. I looked at Applejack to see her slowly waking up from her slumber. We both looked at each other and gave each other a passionate kiss. We both got up to go to work. I went into my room to get a shower to get all the dirt off of my skin. After the shower, I walked out and got dressed ready for work.
I got to the barn and started my usual method of getting ready. As soon as I was ready I saw a couple of coons about to take some apples. I shot each one of them before they could even touch one. After shooting a couple more and looked around for a while, I decided to look into the sky. I saw something that made my heart stop for a couple of minutes. I rubbed my eyes to make sure of it. I staired at the object again and I started to tremble in fear. It was a pink cloud. What I was stairing at was inpossible unless Discord got out again. Applejack must have noticed me stairing at something and came to me. She got right next to me. "Watcha' stairin' at?" I could produce no words and just pointed at the pink cloud. She followed my finger and looked at the cloud with a shock. "But . . . But that's impossible. We turned him back to stone!"
"We'll it looks like he got out!"
We ran towards Twilights house only to find her missing, so we looked for the others but could not find them either. After a while we thought that maybe twilight had noticed something out of the ordinary and started to collect the elements. Me and Applejack ran back to the orchard to find everypony there. We slowed down to a walk when we got near and joined the group. While they were talking I looked up again only to see that I forgot my rifle up on the barn again and decided to go grab it real quick. When I got on top of the barn it suddenly got windy. I slowly walked towards my gun to grab it, trying not to lose my footing. I got to my gun and grabbed it and started to walk back, but the ladder had fallen from the wind blowing against it. I looked at my options of what I could do. I looked at all sides of the barn and noticed all but one had nothing there. I looked at the one with something there again noticing it was apples and decided against it.
I sat up there for a couple of minutes before the girls noticed I was missing and started to look for me. I started to scream towards them but the wind was to loud for them to hear me. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around quickly and a shiver went down my spine along with my face turning white. Discord was standing right in front of me with a smile on his face. I quickly pulled my rifle and shot at him but it missed. He then dissapeared and before I could do anything he reappeared in front of me, picked me up with his magic, and threw me off the barn. I quickly pulled out my pistol and started to shoot at him while I was falling. He didn't notice me shooting at him and two bullets hit his legs and the other bullets hit his arms. I landed on the ground with a thud as all the air from my lungs escaped my body.
I layed on the ground for an hour before I got up. I looked at my surroundings, everything was either upside down, grey, or just doing random stuff. I started to walk towards the house, but then felt a pain in my leg. I looked at the damage on my leg. "It looks like a bone cracked and moved around." I beging to sit down again wondering what I should do. I sat there for what seemed like hours considering the sun and the moon were constintly moving back and forth from day to night. I layed on my back on the ground thinking of what I should do.
I somehow fell asleep and was woken up by somepony hitting me. I opened my eyes slowly to see that it was Applejack, but she looked weird all of a sudden. I sat up and looked her up and down. 'nothing out of the usual . . . except the color of . . .' I couldn't even think anymore as I looked at Applejack and started to cry at what Discord had done. That was it I decided that if my leg was broken or not I was going to do something about this. I slowly got up and looked at Applejack. A tear went down my face and I decided that I was going to do something about this. I walked to the center of ponyville and found Discord causing, of course, chaos. I pulled out my rifle and started to shoot at him to see if it did anything. All they did was bounce off of his skin. I was then lifted into the air by magic. I was slowly brought to Discord who had a smirk on his face. I looked at him with hatred. "HA HA HA HA, YOU THOUGHT THAT THOSE THINGS COULD HURT ME. HA HA HA HA" I started to grit my teeth together from the hatred increasing inside myself. I was suddenly touched by something and felt nothing happening to me. I was let down from the air and put on the ground. I slowly looked at the ground and started to cry from feeling hatred from others towards me. I walked away with a frown on my face.
After a while, I reached the orchard and started to look at my weapons with disgust. I then took out my pistol and looked at the scratched in wrighting, having only one reach my eye. I stoped in my tracks and looked at the scratched in name of Applejack. After looking at it for a minute I was remembering our relationship and remembered that she would never stop loving me. I felt happier all a sudden with a skip in my step I walked towards the house. I found Applejack just sitting there being lazy. I walked up to her and before she could say a thing I kissed her. I looked at her while we kissed and noticed that the gray was starting to disapear and be replaced by orange. After a while she was back to her normal self and me and her ran towards Twilight house.
Twilight had not been corrupted yet and was looking for the elements she had in her house. Me and Applejack both walked in to Twilight being surprised we were there. "Applejack? But how! The last time I saw you, you were gray and not acting like yourself." "Brian here got me out of that there trance Discord put on me." "He used the same thing on me two, but a couple of days ago I scratch in Applejacks name on my pistol to always remember her and it broke me from it." Twilight staired at us for a minute and then went back to searching for the elements. "Looking for something, Twilight?" "Yes, I am looking for the elements I put in my home somewhere. Discord probably moved it somewhere else in here so I couldn't find it easily. Is it ok if you help?" "Sure, why not." I started to look around at the books in alphabetical order. One book caught my eye that had the word chaos in the name, so I instictevly grabed it and opened it. Inside where the elements. "Hey twilight, found them." "What? But how did you find them so quickly?!?" "Oh, I just looked for discords favorite word and found a book with the word in it." Twilights jaw droped as she never thought of that idea before. I laughed while she came back to Equestria. We started off to find the other elements.
The search for the element owners
Me, Applejack, and Twilight all started to run towards Fluttershy's house to see if she was there. When we got there all the windows and doors were nailed shut just like it was when she became too assertive. Twilight began to tear all the boards apart one by one. "Come on, with this pace it will take forever." Judging by all the boards on the door, Fluttershy didn't want to get out. " 'Sigh' Twilight move." Twilight moved and watched as I got a distance away from the door and started to run at it full speed. I then jumped into the air and did a drop kick onto the door, opening it. Whenever I got off the ground I then remembered my broken leg and grabbed it with pain shooting thru my nerves. Twilight noticed this and came next to me. "What happened to you?" "When Discord pushed me off the barn I broke my leg really bad. Bad enough to stick out of the skin." I then looked around the house to see if I can find Fluttershy. "Hey Twilight, you know any healing magic that can fix bones?" "Yea. I do study every day, you know, I know almost every magic spell that is in a book. I'll have your leg fixed in a minute." "Hey Applejack, while Twilight heals my leg, why don't you go check upstairs for Fluttershy." "Sure." And with that Applejack walked up the stairs to look for Fluttershy.
When my leg was fully healed I walked upstairs to find Applejack stairing at something with shock on her face. I walked over to her and looked into the room and almost screamed instantly as I was startled at what I saw. It was Fluttershy, but she looked like she hasn't slept in days and had gotten beaten the shit out of recently and was tied to a chair. Her head was in a ninety degree angle, she had a creepy smile, her eyes were bloodshot, and there was blood almost everywhere on her face. I walked up to her and touched her only to feel that she was cold. "This can't be Fluttershy, Discored or not she would not be able to live this freezing. I began to look around the room again and then heard a squeaking noise. I followed the noise to find it coming from a closet down the hall. I opened it and found Fluttershy in there, laughing her head off from the mean joke she pulled on me and Applejack. I then jumped on top of her to keep her from moving so Twilight could put her back to normal. As Twilight charged her magic and touched Fluttershy did I let go of her and saw that she was back to normal.
After that We started to go towards Sugar Cube Corner to get Pinkie when we found her on the road, with her hair down and looking gray. I walked up to her and thought for a moment and came up with an idea. I read this on FIMfiction about someone jumping out of nowhere and doing something random would cheer her up and bring her back to normal. So before Twilight could charge up her magic I stopped her. "Hold on Twilight, I think I know something that might bring her out of this without magic." Twilight wanted to see my idea so she just stepped back and watched. I quickly ran to a building and somehow wound up in the air and started to do backflips as I then came close to hitting the ground and then arriving at the other side of the street. This happened for a couple of minutes. Just looking at Twilight's shocked face was enough for me to go into laughter. I slowly started to see color coming into sight on Pinkie as I did this. And as the cherry on top, I did the most random thing imaginable. I appeared next to Twilight and touched her shoulder. "TAG YOUR IT" and ran off the other direction only to come to Twilight's other side and touched her on the other shoulder screaming the same thing I did before. She was so confused at what was happening as I continued to do this as it was imposable for anypony or anyone to do this. She started to collapse to the ground from the shock of how this was happening and then I started to do it to Pinkie to get her into the spirit of the fun. I stopped after I tagged her and saw in astonishment at how it worked. She began to laugh without stop for another minute to catch her breath. "How . . . how did you do . . . that? That is completely imposable!!" Me and pinkie both laughed at Twilight's breakdown of what just happened on the way to Rarity's house.
When we get to Rarity's house I notice something very strange happening. The house was filled with boulders about the size of me. I walk to the door, afraid of what might happen if I open it. I put one hand on the knob as I get into a running stance if needed. I begin to twist the knob when all of a sudden I was kicked in the face by Rarity. I fly thru the air and hit the ground with a thud. I get up and look at myself surprised, thinking that nothing happened to me. I walked over to Rarity and did the same thing to Fluttershy. Only this mare was kicking her hind legs in my face while I attempted to hold her still. Twilight finaly had the spell ready and touched Rarity. I let go of Rarity when she screamed "The horror of how you look is dreadful!" I looked at myself and noticed that most of my clothes had gotten torn during what I have been going thru for the past couple of days. I begin to look at everypony counting to see if we got everyone when I noticed that they were all stairing at me with horror on their faces. "Um . . . Whats wronge now?" I said with a worried tone. Rarity had floated over a mirror towards me. I grabbed and inspected my head. I was bleeding everywhere, probably happened when Rarity had kicked me hard on it a couple of times. I looked back at them and just shruged it off like it wasn't even there. As they saw me do this, they still had their worried lookes on their faces of how bad it could be and how I just shruged it off without even thinking about it. "Hey, we better go get Rainbow Dash before anything else happens." I said. They all shook their heads and started to walk with me to find Rainbow Dash hopfully in or near her house.
When we got to Rainbow Dash's house, I could see something on the groung just walking. It was a blue pegasus with a rainbow colored main. It was Rainbow Dash, but why was she just walking around, had she lost the honesty of trusting her wings to fly. We all started to walk towards her, still in shock at what she was doing. As we approached, she started to run away. Applejack quickly grabs her rope and hog ties Rainbow Dash to keep her still. Twilight does her magic on Rainbow Dash and start to cheer as how they are all back together. All of them were cheering, except me. They stopped and staired at me with confusion. "No time to celebrate now, we still have to stop Discord and he can probably still change you back if he tried." They all started to quiet down at what I had said. I slowly started to walk to where I last saw Discord, with them behind me.
We all ran towards the center of town to find Discord sitting there, just laughing at the chaos he is creating. We stand behind a building to hide from his sight as we make a plan of how to surprise him so he won't expect it. "So any idea's of how to surprise him?" "How about we just sneak behind him and before he notices, use the elements." "That might work. Lets go ahead and do it." We walk around a couple buildings to keep Discord from seeing us. When we get behind him the girls go ahead and start to sneak up behind him while I stay behind the building and keep watch. As they got closer to Discord, he started to laugh and turns around quickly to find all of the pony's with shocked looks on their faces. "HA HA HA HA, You thought that it would be easy to just sneak up behind me and turn me back to stone, HA HA HA HA. Well to make sure you won't mess with me again i'm going to make you all back to hating each other one by one. He then floated up all the pony's and started to do what he intended. First was Twilight to keep her from getting her friends out immediatly. I stood there in shock at what was happening. I couldn't move. After Twilight he got Rainbow Dash, then Fluttershy, then Rarity, and Pinkie. As they all got changed Anger started to grow inside me. Not hatred for Discord and for what he did for me, it was from what he was doing to everyone that were my friends. As he got Applejack I snapped before he could even touch her with his magic something happened that he did not expect.
I slowly started to walk towards Discord with hatred for what he was doing to others and not me. I was starting to change into the color of red. "YOU EVEN TOUCH ANOTHER PONY AND YOU WILL REGRET IT!" I said aloud with a scream. He took it as a challange and touched Applejack and changed her. I snapped and started to run towards him. He started to laugh at what I was doing. I was starting to somehow catch on fire but feeling no pain, my eyes turned into white orbs with no emotion in them besides for hatred for what someone was doing to others. I began to quicken my pace turning the color of the red fire to blue. Discord used his magic to levitate a boulder in front of me to stop me. I just jumped up and got on top of it and continued to run. "How is that possible? That was a good three stories, no one is able to do that." Before he could do anythig else I jumped up into the air and grabbed my pistol out of my holster. I staired at my gun and concentrated on it. It started to catch fire and the bullets changed to the colore of pure white. "How is that possible. Your just a human. No one is able to do that. This is-" Before he could finish I jumped into the air and drop kicked his leg, which turned to stone. He staired at his leg in astonishment of what I did and started to panick.
I quickly ran back towards him and kicked his other leg to keep him from running. I jumped into the air and levitated there and looked at Discord in the eye's. He staired into mine and started to feel fear going down his spine. I kicked his arms so he couldn't do anything to them. I pulled out my pistol again and aimed at Discords chest. I shot two bullets. Once they connected with his chest it turned to stone. I floated up to his face and staired into his eye's again and pulled up my gun and shot his head with the rest of the ammunition in it.
Once he was turned back to stone, everything was turning back to normal. I was still in that state for another hour stairing at Discord making sure he would not move, not paying attention to anything else going on around me. The girls turned back to normal and staired at me with shock at what just happened. After an hour I slowly started to levitate downward until I touched the ground. I still was on fire and had the pure white orbs at eye's and looked at the girls while they staired at me. I slowly started to change back to normal.
After I was back to normal the girls came up and hugged while Applejack was kissing me. "What happened Brian? How did you do that?" "To tell you the truth Twilight, I don't know. All I do know is that when he was changing you I started to feel hatred, but not the hatred for what he did to me, but from the hatred of what he was doing to my friends. I slowly started to run towards him and gave him a warning of not to do anything to anypony else, but he ignored me and changed Applejack. I started to run towards him and started to catch fire with my eyes changing to the color you just saw. And I guese you can remember the rest. Twilight began to nod while taking out a parchment and quill and started to wright something down. She them ran towards her library. All of the rest of us confused, started to follow her.
The old element has returned
We followed Twilight back to her house. As we went inside we saw a green fire go out the door. "Um . . . Twilight what did you wright on that paper and where did you send it?" I knew it was probably to Princess Celestia, but I didn't know what she wrote on it. "I wrote what you told me and about what happened today. And for who I sent it to, I sent it to Princess Celestia." My train of thought was off the rails of what was going to happen next. I sat down on Twilight's couch along with everypony else sitting down waiting for Princess Celestia's reply.
After a couple of minutes I was starting to yawn from the boredness in the room. I suddenly saw white as something happened. I closed my eye's and started to scream from the brightness. When I finally opened my eyes me and everypony else was in a throne room with Princess Celestia. Everypony and I bowed in front of her as Twilight walked up to her and hugged her. After they finished she stared at me. I looked back, feeling nervous of what was going to happen next.
We stood there for a couple minutes staring at each other. She finally broke the silence."So you are the human named Brian. I am pleased to finally meet you. I have heard about what you've been going thru these past couple of days. I must say its remarkable of what you did for Applejack." I looked at Applejack and we both blushed. I then looked back at Celestia. "So what happened today. I got a message about what happened, but I want it more detailed, and what happened to your head?" I then remembered about my head and just laughed at it. "Well, you see, Princess what happened today was weird. Apparently Discord got free again, he threw me off a barn and broke my leg, I found out what he did to the others besides Twilight, I walked all the way to the center of ponyville to try to do something about it even with a broken leg, Discord discorded me only to be turned back to normal from the writing I put on my gun, changed Applejack back to normal, found the elements, found Fluttershy and helped Twilight get her back to normal, found Pinkie and changed her back myself, got attacked by Rarity with her kicking my head multiple times, found Rainbow Dash and got her back to normal, went to go stop Discord by surprise only to fail and get everypony else back to being discorded, and, this is the crazy part, something happened to me and I turned him to stone."
After I finished this, Celestia just stared at me in shock. "How did you stop Discord only the elements are able to do that? What did you look like when something happened to you?" "I was on fire in the color of blue and my eyes were the color of pure white." "But thats not possible, has this really happened, has a old element really come out of its slumber." "Wait, what did you just say!" She brought us to the loyal library and pulled out a really old book. She then opened it and brought it to a specific page. It was in Equstrian language that I could not read. "Um . . . I can't read this." Before anything else happened she shot me with magic and then I looked at the book and was able to read it.
The cover was "The element of Protection" Wait, there was another element! Everypony sat there and read the book while I just looked for the description of the element. "The element of Protection is when a pony stands up for others and not for themselves to protect them. He/she is usually in a blue arua with white eyes and attacks the enemy with great power. The last time this element was known was before the elements of harmony was created. There is no specific date at which it was discovered." I stared at the book with my jaw droped.
Applejack walked up towards me and kissed me on the cheek to get me out of my state of surprise. I looked towards Celestia. "So i'm soposed to be the element of Protection?" She only answered with a nod of her head. "But how is that possible? I'm a human not a pony?" "I don't know. All I do know is that you are this element." "So that explains why I'm good with guns. I never shot anything unless I did it for survival like food, if it was doing something it wasn't supposed to, or unless it attacked others. That explains it all of why I mastered the skill of using my rifle and my dads special pistol." I took out the pistol and looked at my fathers name. A tear started to role down my cheek. Celestia noticed this. "What is wrong Brian? Why are you crying?" "Just remembering my fathers death. He gave me this gun before he died. He scratched his name to it like his father did. Now everytime I see his name on this gun it reminds me of him. Kind of like of Applejacks hat reminds her of her father." "Wait a minute, is that the gun you used to stop discord?" "Yes. Why?" Cesestia quickly grabbed the gun with her magic and ran towards a magnifying glass and studied it.
After a couple of minutes of observing she walked over to me with my gun. "This is no ordinary gun, Brian. This gun was specificly made for the element of protection." "But how, did my father or his father know that someone in our bloodline was going to be the element and if they did, how did they know?" "Brian, this gun was used by the previous person that had the element. I think he teleported it to your Grandfather and he started to pass it down for no reason." I stood there in shock again from what she just said. 'My gun was used by the previous owner of the element? How is that possible?'
I stood there for an hour before Applejack walked over to me and touched my arm. I twitched as I came back to reality. "So that gun was used by the previous owner of the element?" "That is correct." "He must have been injured and sent it to the future and into another world. This explains why I am here in Equestria." "Maybe, it could have been something else that brought you here, but so far this is the only clue of why you are here." I started to walk around the library in deep thought with the pistol in my hand. "So this explains why when I concentraited on this gun in came on fire the same color as the one on me and that the bullets turned white." Everypony stared at me at what I just said. "Wait, did you just say that you concentraited on that gun and it changed just like you?!?" "Yeah. Isn't that weird." I put my gun back into my holster and started to walk to someplace random to clear my mind, but Ceslestia stopped me. "But that's impossible. No element is able to put its power thru objects." "Apparently it can."
I slowly backed away from Celestia after saying that sentence and just sat down on a nearby couch with Applejack sitting next to me. I turned my head towards Applejack and looked at her. We both blushed and couldn't help ourselves to just kiss each other since we haven't kissed in about five hours. I looked around as we kissed and noticed that everypony was staring at me. I slowly stopped the kiss not wanting it to stop. "What?" "Something happened while you two kissed. Look at your head." Twilight floated me a mirror and I observed my head only to notice that the blood and the cuts on my head were gone. "Our love healed me?" "Yes." "Well thats something you don't hear everyday." After I said that sentence, I looked back at Applejack who was again staring at me. I pulled out my pistol and looked at it. I found the scratched in name of Applejack on it. I started to cry from the memories of our relationship between each other. Again everypony noticed.
"What's wrong now?" I just looked at everypony else and showed them the scratched in word I put on my gun and started to talk. "When I was discorded and started to hate everything on my way back to the orchard, I looked at the scratched in name of Applejack's and got out of the spell. My love for Applejack was too powerful to let me stay that way and neither was Applejacks. I guess thats another explenation I guess of how we healed each other just from a kiss." Everypony slowly smiled of what I just said from the love in it. I slowly looked back at Applejack again and kissed her passionetly.
After the kiss and our heads full of knowledge of what had happened and what I was, we got teleported back home. I expected the teleport this time so I was prepared and didn't get hurt. We all looked outside and it was dark. After talking to each other for a little bit, we all left and went home. I went to bed in my room with Applejack not that far behind me. "So I a' now know more about ya, how about that." She slowly started to get in bed with me with a seductive smile on her face. I suddenly felt lucky of what was going to happen tonight as she scooted closer.
I stayed still as Applejack moved closer to me. She was an inch away before I moved my head forward and kissed her. Our tongues wrestled in our mouthes, tasting each others mouths. She put her hooves around my neck as I put my arms around her waist pulling her closer. We started ot sweat from the way we were feeling. The thought of hearing a song about taking off cloths from a bet I lost that made me listen to it, got into my head. I had the music stuck in my head everytime I started to sweat and it was a pain trying to get rid of it. I looked into Applejacks eyes and the song went away like it had seen a bear trying to attack it. Her eyes were full of love as I looked into them. I didn't want to look away, but a noise stopped me. I looked around the room and saw that Applebloom was standing at my door, her eyes wide and her mouth open. Applejack noticed this and looked at the door and noticed Applebloom. "What in tarnation are you a doin' in here Applebloom?" Applejack sounded a little mad from Appleblooms sudden interuption. "Sorry sis, but I heard a noise coming from in here and I came to find out what it was. What are you doing in Brian's bed?" Applejack was taken off guard at what Applebloom had just asked. Being the Element of Honesty she was going to tell the truth, but before she could say she thought if she should really be giving Applebloom the meaning of sex yet. When I reached the roof, the floor gave in and went downwards into a deep pit. I let my legs dangle down while I Slowly swung vine to vine to the hole. I grabbed the edge of it and pulled myself out. "Phew, finally out of there." I looked around again and then pulled out my map and looked at it. "God, Celestia, whoever, I hope I'm going the right way." With that I folded the map and continued through the woods.
I slowly walked through the brush of bushes while listening for anything close. 'Starting to get hungry and thirsty.' I stopped and looked around for something usefull. 'There has to be a water source here somewhere, there's to much life here if there wasn't' I put my hand to my ear and listened. 'Where are you, you stupid water' I suddenly heard the sound of runing water. 'Yes, found you you bastard!' I quickly ran towards the sound, only to find a river in a clearing. "THANK CELESTIA!" I ran towards the water and quickly took a drink of the water. I then splashed the water onto my face and looked around, only to come face to face with a manticore. "SHIT!" I quickly jumped back as a claw slashed where I was. It roared in the air and charged me. I quickly sidestepped, but it slashed my side when it passes. I bent down, in pain. "Fuck this shit!" I threw off my backpack and put my sniper on top of it, then pulled out my m16 and aimed it at the manticore. "Bad day to fucking mess with me, cat." It charged at me again, but I barrel rolled away from it. "Eat bullets!" I shot at it and watched as it got hit in the stomach. I smirked when it fell, but it quickly went into a frown when it got back up. "OH COME ON!" It ran in front of me and I barrel rolled to the side, but it stopped and hit me with its paw. I flew into the air and hit a tree. "Damn it, that hurt." I slowly got up only to be met with a claw that barely scratched my cheek. I backed away and put a hand on my cheek to find blood. "Thats it, no more mister nice guy!" I quickly pulled up my gun and pulled the trigger and watched as the Manticore ran to the side. I followed it with the barrel of my gun and watched as the bullets hit the ground behind it. "STAND STILL!" I increased my turning speed and watched as the bullets hit his legs and it fell. "YES!" I slowly walked up to it. "What now!" I pointed the gun at his heart. "Goodbye." I pulled the trigger only to be met with a click. "DAMN IT!" The manticore quickly swipped me away and ran away into the forest. I slowly got up and looked around to find the manticore, when I didn't find one, I sighed and walked to my stuff next to the river. I slowly replaced the emptly clip and set the gun down on the ground next to the backpack. I slowly walked to the river and looked at my reflection. "Thats gonna hurt for a while if I don't find any medicine." I looked at my face to find three cuts on my cheek. "Not that bad, just some cuts." I splash some water on my face and sigh as my face starts to sting. "And its always the small cuts that hurt like hell" I look up into the sky only to find darkness, and I sigh. "Day one and I haven't even made it to the badlands, might as well make camp and a fire" I searched around and got a couple of twigs and broken branches, and made a fire close to the river. "I need my rest if I'm going to save applejack." I layed down next to the fire and slowly fell asleep.
MEANWHILE IN CANTERLOT
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had just finished reading the letter sent by twilight. "Thou is not wise to go out there and face the changelings by himself" "Luna, he did have a point, I would have sent an army to go get applejack." "Still, thou is still unskilled for the task ahead of him." "Actually Luna, yes he is, he is the perfect person to send for the job here." "Why is that sister?" "He has a past that he has not told us about, one he thought that we shouldn't know, one that he thought we would hate him for if he told us." "And what is that sister?" "That he has been in a situation like this before." "What does thou mean." "You remember him talking about his father to applejack about his father, saying that he died in battle and he found out through a letter?" "Yes." "Lets just say that that wasn't how he found out his father died."
Discovery of love for each other
Me and Applejack go towards the house for her to show me my room. Along the way I meet Big Macintosh. He greets me with his usual sothern voice of his. I get to the house and meet Applebloom and Granny Smith. When I got there Applebloom was doing what she normally does, try different things to get her cutie mark. Today she was attempting to wash the dishes by herself which Granny Smith somehow convinced her to do. I sat there laughing at the sight of watching Applebloom fail at trying to pick up a plate as it falls back into the sink. Applejack was watching as well and was also laughing. Applebloom turned around and saw me and stoped right in her tracks. She quickly ran in front of me. "Howdy there, mister, Im a applebloom. Whats your name?" "Hello Applebloom, My name is Brian and I am here to help yall out with the coon problem yall have been havin." "Well howdy there, Brian, I'm Granny Smith and thanks for volunteering to take care of this problem we've been having" "Your welcome, Granny Smith."
After meeting the whole Apple family, also eating supper along with it, Applejack leads me to the Guest room. I go in and set my stuff down taking all the items out of my bag and taking a note pad to wright down what I have. As I am doing this Applejack is sitting next to me with a smile on her face. "well i'll be, you are one heck a person to be carryin all this stuff around to hunt animals." She looks at my binoculars and picks them up and looks thru them. "Wow, I can see ponyville with this thing." I laughed at how interested she was with them. She put it back on the bed with my other stuff. She grabs my pistol and looks at it. She notices a name scratched into it, two actually. "What the hay are these doin on your gun. What do they even say?" She looked at me with interest. "those are my father's and his father's name scratched into the gun. You see my Grandfather passed this down to my father and my father passed it down to me. They both scratched their names on it so the person with the gun could not forget the ones they loved that were in there family." A tear went down my cheek from the same memory of my father passing away along with the memory of my grandfather passing away. I started to cry softly into my shoulder about those memories. Applejack noticed this and walked up to me and huged me to try to calm me down. I looked at her and hugged her back to try to calm myself down also. We hugged each other for the next ten minutes after I stopped crying over my family and looked into each others eyes. I looked at her green beutiful eyes that also caused me to fall in love with her. I didn't know what was going to happen next, but we suddenly started to our faces closer to each other. As we a inch away from our noses from touching we started to kiss.
It was the longest kiss that i have ever had, but then again i never had a kiss in real life not even from my family. So I wanted it to last and be a well remembered one. We Sat there kissing eachother for ten minutes while our tongues were wrestling over boundaries in our mouthes. We then stopped and look each other in the eyes, knowing that that we both liked each other.
We let go of each other and both started to look around the room. Her's and my face were blushed to a dark red. We then again looked each other in the eyes. We both started to smile at this and She gave me a passionate kiss. "well, Brian, that solves that mystery." We both chuckled at this. "We should do this again sometime, but maybe in a different area. You know any good places?" She put a whoof on her chin going into deep thought. "I know a place that has a perfect view of the stars at night and is secretive." She looked at me with those big green eyes. "Perfect. We can go there tomarrow night. Sound good?" "Sounds mighty fine. Now you get some shut eye you got to get up early to hunt those coons for us." With that she walked out of the room.
Luna was in her room, pondering what her sister had just said. "He's the perfect person that can be sent? He found out how his father died by different means?" Luna walked around her dark blue rug for what seemed like the hundredth time. "How other could he have found out that his father died unless . . . he . . . was . . . there. . . . Oh . . ." Luna stopped walking and just stared at the wall with the answer right there in her mind. "He found out, because he was there when he died." Luna sighed and walked to her balcony and stared out into the Everfree Forest as she went back to her duties watching over the dreams of everypony, that is until one, just one, caught her attention, coming from the middle of the Everfree Forest, one that seemed to not only be a dream, but more of a bad memory. She frowned at the thought of what Brian could be going through in his mind now. "I have to do something to help him in his dreams. And maybe while I'm at it, I will find out more about him than I know." With that, Luna Charged up her magic and went into Brian's dream, knowing little of what she will find.
I sat there on a six story building with a .50 cal. with my father. I smiled as I looked through the scope and shot another terrorist behind a wall shooting at soldiers. "Another one down" I looked at my father as he put a tally mark on a piece of paper. "Alright my turn to see who wins." I switched with my father as I looked through a pair of binoculars down at the battlefield. "Lets see if you can beat me this time dad. Last time we did this you lost twenty bucks, lets see if you can get them back." Brian's father loaded the gun and shot at a terrorist down the street behind a car. "Thats one son" I put a tally mark on the piece of paper. "Up here, we are safe from the battle ahead as we take down the enemies from far away." I chuckled as he saw another enemy fall to the ground. "Another one down" I put another tally mark on the paper. "Just three more kills and you will beat me dad, to bad there is only two bullets left. Your going to have to go ahead and pay up." "No, I'll just have to improvise" My father shot two more terrorists and then got up and loaded a pistol. "I'm going to beat you this time son." He started to walk down the stairs. I only sighed. "Why do you always have to be so stubborn." I got up and grabbed the .50 cal. and started to run down the stairs only to stop when my father ran back up. "RUN!" I turned around and started to run back up. "Why are we running back up?" Thats when I heard the explosion and felt the building rock side to side. "Holy shit!" I fell down, but quickly got back up and finally got to the top. "What are we going to do now?" "Now, we wait" I felt the building start to fall to the side. "ARE YOU CRAZY! WE'LL DIE FROM THE FALL!" "NOT UNLESS YOU TIME IT RIGHT!" I watched as picked me up and started to count down with his fingers. "3 ... 2 ... 1 ... JUMP" I jumped off of the building as I landed on another building and rolled forward and stood up laughing. "Dad, you were right! Its all about the timing ... Dad?" I turned around and he wasn't there. "No ... Dad where are you?" I yelled as I started to go down the stairs to see if he jumped to late and landed into one of the rooms. When I didn't find him, I ran to the building with my pistol in hand and found him, covered in rubble and barely breathing. "DAD!" I started to move the broken walls off of him and then picked him up slowly. "I'll get you out of here, then we can go back to the farm and continue farming." I started to run towards the others, only to turn down one street and find some terrorists. "SHIT!" I ran behind a wall as they fired at us. "DAMN IT!" I reached into my holster and pulled out an army issued pistol and shot it over the cover. "DAMN IT ALL!" I slowly put my dad onto the ground. "I'll be back dad, I'm going to get these guys and then come back for you." I ran from the cover to another building and began shooting at the terrorists from there. I ran around the building to flank them as they closed in on me. "Time to get them from behind" I poked my head around the corner to look for the terrorists, only to find them where I left dad. "Damn it!" I looked at him as he raised his hands in defeat with a small smile. He looked at me and winked as a grenade fell out of his hands onto the ground and exploded. "NOOOOO!!!!" I jumped up from my nightmare.
Luna stood up and stumbled backwards from the shock of seeing death and defeat. "He . . . He saw his father die right in front of him . . . Nopony should ever have to see that."
I got up and gathered all my gear as I put out the fire and splashed the coals with water. "Sigh, alright, time to get moving." I walked through the river and kept walking through the forest in the night. 'I don't care what the cost is now anymore. I'm getting Applejack free and getting her back to ponyville.' I walked on top of a hill and looked down at the bad lands. Its ash covered ground as a volcano in the distance bellowed out said ash, the holes in random places going down as far as I could see, and in the middle of it all, was another mountain with a castle about the same size of the mountain next to each other. 'I know where to go now, there was nowhere else the changelings could be. Time to strike back to save Applejack, to save the one I love.'
Hey my fellow followers and other people that actually liked this story, long time no see eh? Anyway, I plan on remaking this story, and I'm gonna change most of it. If any of you have a problem with this, go ahead and voice your concerns. I'll give y'all about a week until I start to rewrite this story
