Chapters Prologue: Late That Night
"Good your up now go cheer up Bumper." French Press said, Timidthy wiped the tears from his eyes.
"You expect me to go and cheer up Bumper when he could be sleeping. After you woke me up, messed with my ring, and caused me pain? Yeah right like that will happen." He said feeling grouchy from his lack of sleep,
"But I neeeeeeed you to!" French Press whined back.
"Sure, but I neeeeeeed sleep!" Timidthy said,
"Please prince, Bumper hasn't been acting himself since.... the incident. He's been in his room for a week not leaving for guard training or outings with French Press." Watch Dog said. Timidthy took a deep breath and rubbed his horn as he still felt a twinge of pain in it,
"Fine. But if he's sleeping then I'm going home." He said. Timidthy then sluggishly got out of bed,
"Thank you, prince." Shimmer Sword said. The prince muttered before his tail was last seen leaving the room.
When Timidthy got to Bumper's house the place was completely dark the Colt had to decide against using his magic. He snuck inside and quietly walked to Bumper's room door, he pressed his ear to the door but heard nothing.
"Bumper? Are you awake?" Timidthy whispered and soon after the door opened,
"Yeah but what are you doing here?" Bumper said. He looked to have been crying as he tried to wipe some tears from his eyes,
"Your fillyfriend ruined my sleep by forcing me to come here by near midnight. But now that I'm here do you need to talk?" Timidthy said. Bumper blushed but nodded as he let Timidthy into his room he then shut the door and lit his horn. As him and Timidthy sat on the floor face to face, Bumper sat in silence as he looked to be holding back tears. Timidthy looked at Bumper with growing worry,
"Another nightmare?" Timidthy said and his friend nodded. "Staduim of ponies?" Bumper nodded again, "Laughed at you and everypony you cared about abandoned you?" Bumper again nodded tears starting to fall. Timidthy sighed and wrapped his wing around Bumper,
"I can relate. Listen I know you don't want to but.... you need to get some fresh air." He said.
"I-I can't!" Bumper said,
"I know you can. We can go somewhere new where you can get some pressure off you." Timidthy said. Bumper looked at the Alicorn,
"Alright." He said. Timidthy smiled,
"Good. We're heading to Twilight's castle tommorow so get some rest." He said and Bumper, though confused, nodded after all he trusted Timidthy.
Bumper had just woken up as the sun rose; knowing Timidthy would pick him up in thirty minutes. He took the patch off from the day before and threw it in the trash, he then took his shower and didn't even try to brush his mane or tail.
"Have a fun day." Crackers said with a forced smile, he was deeply concerned for his owner. Bumper rolled his eyes and shamefully pulled out his patches, he put on his belly. It felt weird but he definitely didn't want anypony to ask about it. Crackers picked up on this,
"Ya know you don't have to hide it. It stresses you out more that the incident does." Crackers said. Bumper just blushed as tears began to well up in his eye, a knock came on the door and he quickly wiped his tears away. Timidthy walked in with a smile on his face, Bumper forced himself to smile as well trying to hide his pain.
"He was crying." Crackers said,
"No I wasn't!" Bumper argued back. As blush quickly consumed his face,
"And he keeps hiding the patches he wears!" Crackers continued. Bumper growled,
"Shut up!" He said and his pet scoffed.
"Or what!? Your goanna turn me into sushi?" Crackers retorted and Bumper immediately shut up, Timidthy shook his head.
"Bumper it's okay to cry and we'll talk about the hiding your patches thing later. And...." He said before he locked eye's with Crackers and he started shaking and sweating, "Ne-Never mind." Bumper hugged Timidthy and the colt calmed slightly. The two blushed and walked out of the room before teleporting to Ponyville.
When the two got there they immediately walked to Twilight's castle.
"So what's this new place?" Bumper asked and Timidthy smiled,
"It's a place Twilight visited before. Where these strange creatures called humans reside. They have no fur so they have to wear clothes all the time. They don't have horns or wing's. They're tall and have strange things called hands and feet. And worse yet they don't have tails!" He said. Bumper gasped,
"What how can the colts and fillies there flirt without awesome tails to swing around!" He exclaimed.
"I know right!" Timidthy agreed as him and Bumper entered the castle. It didn't take long to find Twilight because, of course, she was in the library. Timidthy flew up to the nearest shelf and knocked a book down, as soon as it made contact with the floor Twilight jumped. Once she was over the shock she smiled,
"Oh hey Timidthy and Bumper! Ready to go on your trip?" She asked.
"Yep!" Timidthy said, and him an Bumper we're led by Twilight to the interdimensional portal that had been recently moved to Twilight's castle. Once they got there the two colts marveled at the mirror,
"So this will send us to another dimension?" Bumper asked. And Twilight nodded while Timidthy had a smug grin,
"Yeah and this is going to awesome." Timidthy said.
"Well I'm glad you'll enjoy this. Now I'll write your parents while your gone how long do you think you'll be spending?" Twilight said, Bumper opened his mouth but Timidthy spoke.
"A week." Twilight raised an eyebrow,
"Your sure? Why so long?" She asked. Bumper blushed a deep red and looked at the prince with begging eye's. Timidthy gave him a reassuring smile,
"It's for personal reasons but once we're back I'm sure we'll have everything settled." He said. Bumper blushed a bit redder but had a look of relief on his face, Twilight looked a the embarrassed colt she could tell he was uncomfortable.
"Alright then just be careful remember you can stay with Sunset or I along with my other friends counterparts. You can't miss them." Twilight said and the two colts smiled before they walked into the portal.
Sunset was running as fast as her feet could take her. Twilight had just told her that the Prince of Therapy was coming along with a friend of his. Now it was true that her and Timidthy had never officially met but thanks to Celestia and lots of letters about her sons she now knew the Prince's like an open book. Finally she had gotten to the portal and she saw a green and lime green human, the green human word a clean and pressed swamp green shirt with black tights to go with and polished church shoes gleaming in the sun. He had dandelion yellow gentle eyes and partially chubby cheeks, his hair matched his eyes as it was in a bowler cut hairstyle.
And finally he had a therapist pocket watch hanging on his neck. The lime green one wore a yellow green thin sweater with blue bel jeans, he also had yellow green boots on his hair was black and ruffled as a sword scar was on his left cheek. He was a bit muscular as his eyes we’re matching his skin. Finally got some reason he had a strange patch on his neck, Sunset was intrigued as she hid behind the other side of the portal to find more about the two.
“Good thing were only here for a week. Without wing’s and horns this is freaky.” Timidthy said before he noticed Bumper was blushing madly and covering the patch on his neck Timidthy grabbed Bumper's other hand and held it tightly. The lime green human looked at the green one before he started to calm his breathing,
“It’s fine. They won’t ask as long as you don’t do what your doping okay?” Timidthy said calmly. Bumper nodded and put his arm back down once again reveling the patch,
“I-I just do-don’t want anypony to ask.” He said. Timidthy hugged Bumper and he calmed a bit more, unfortunately Sunset on her attempt to get a better look stepped on a branch and it snapped. The two boys immediately jumped and pulled out of the hug, Sunset hid again just before Timidthy and Bumper looked where she once was.
“Come on l-lets get out of here!” Bumper said already feeling humiliated at the possibly of their conversation being heard. He then dragged Timidthy with him wanting to escape the area as soon as possible. Sunset went back the other way so I’d look like she just ran into them. But what she didn’t plan was losing track of them.
Timidthy and Bumper had walked around a bit and ended up at the summer solstice festival. The place had plenty of food. But what interested the two the most was the rides.
Bumper ran to one in particular that was called “Bone Rattler”. The coaster was an ominous red color as there was no line by it. Being most people were afraid to ride it but Bumper wasn’t like most people.
“Wow. That looks awesome!” He said while Timidthy’s legs were shaking just from looking at it.
“Bumper I can’t go on that ride.” He said paling by the minute,
“Nonsense! You can go! After all I’ll be with you!” Bumper said as he was already dragging Timidthy towards the line.
“No seriously I bet you I’ll soil myself if I go on that ride.” He whispered and Bumper stopped,
“Seriously?” He whispered back realizing how red Timidthy had gotten. His timid friend nodded,
“Fine you don’t have to go if your sure that’s goanna happen. How about you ride the teacup rides. It’s fast but it shouldn’t be too scary.” Bumper said. And Timidthy let out a sighed of relief as he was released from his friend’s firm grip. Bumper hit Timidthy playfully on the back,
“Don’t worry I’m not some sort of huge jerk unless I’m in a bad mood.” Bumper said. Timidthy chuckled,
“You’ve never been a jerk Bumper just misunderstood.” He said before running to the tea cup ride. Bumper moved up the line realizing that he was the only one as the other were in the ride. It was a good five minutes until they came back and most of them were pretty shaken up. Some of them looked as if they had soiled themselves. While some looked they had vomited or we’re on the verge of.
Bumper gulped as he subconsciously picked at his patch. The ride did seem a bit intimidating but he wanted to ride it anyway, Bumper waited as the workers cleaned the seats. And the people stumbled away, 'It's not goanna be so bad. Now buck up and get on the ride!' Bumper thought just as all the seats were cleaned off and he walked towards one of the empty seats. He sat down and the worker got his seat set up on him, Bumper smiled as they started the ride and he went up the hill.
It started going up slowly as Bumper couldn’t help but feel fear build up in his chest. Finally it got to the top and he froze the foster was to do a deep nose dive, then three barrel rolls. Go up and do a loop. And then the ride was supposed to come back to where it was while doing a barrel roll. Bumper gulped as the ride went down and he screamed. His finger nails dug into his safety restraints as it got to the barrel rolls.
His stomach lunged and his heart was practically beating out of his chest. Bumper then went on the loop but on his way down suddenly it stopped. At first it was a relief for Bumper until he saw how high he was. His mouth went dry, as he tried to find Timidthy. Luckily for him his best bud had ran up to the workers and looked to be saying something.
The worker looked nervous before he pulled out a megaphone and said.
“Sorry kid and everyone else but the ride is stuck. Once we get you down we’re goanna close the ride down for repairs.” Bumper and Timidthy paled while some people either gasped or groaned. The people who had groaned was pulling out there phones recording the entire thing. The ones who had gasped we’re now looking up at Bumper with concern, by then the boy had started sweating. ‘This couldn’t get any worse.’ Bumper thought but that was before he realized how wet his nether regions we’re.
He blushed a deep crimson thankful that he was so far up.
Bumper was trying not to panic as sweat poured from his brow. He wanted so desperately to get down. And hug Timidthy for emotional support. Meanwhile Timidthy was thinking the same thing. He knew Bumper was miserable up there, he ran over to the workers. Who we’re currently going through the roller coasters wiring.
Timidthy bit his lip as he pulled out his chattie, he called Bumper hoping that his friend would answer. The former unicorn in question couldn’t answer his phone. Unlike Timidthy he knew that his chattie was off and by turning in on it could mess with the roller coasters tech. He shook his head no and he saw Timidthy smack his forehead. Bumper rolled his eye’s holding back a snicker he kinda found it cute when Timidthy got frustrated.
Of course he’d never tell his former alicorn best bud that. Colts didn’t call other colts that. But his amusement faded as he realized he was still several feet in the air. With cameras on him that would no doubt make it to social media. Finally hope shined for Bumper as a fire truck showed up with a news crew following closely behind.
After that it didn’t take long for the firefighters to get the terrified boy down. When Bumper got down Timidthy hugged him and he fell over.
“Thanks goodness your okay!” Timidthy said, Bumper's face burned red. He smiled nervously as a few of the crowd members aww-ed at the sight. Unfortulently for Bumper a few people started snickering as well. He was confused until he remembered he had wet himself. Timidthy looked at Bumper as both of their faces went red.
“Move it!” A voice suddenly cried and Sunset along with the rest of the mane six came through the crowd.
“If you all would kindly stop laughing at these two they need to go home.” Rarity said helping Timidthy and Bumper up, the two shamefully hide behind Rainbow Dash. They didn’t want to appear weak but they we’re both very self conscious at the moment. The mane seven led the two out of the crowd. And just as they we’re about to leave a news lady ran up to Bumper and Timidthy. She shoved a microphone into Bumper's face.
“Hello young sir how did it feel to get stuck on a four hundred and fifty six feet tall coaster?” She asked, Bumper paled. His heart began to race,
“Tha-That ride was four hundred and fifty six feet?” Timidthy stuttered as horror came over him. The news lady nodded still waiting eagerly for Bumper’s response, Rainbow rolled her eyes and took the microphone.
“Sorry but neither if these two or anyone else will be answering any questions.” She said and she shoved the microphone in the news lady’s chest, the group then continued to Pinkie’s home for their daily sleepover.
Both Timidthy and Bumper we’re sharing a guest room at Pinkie's. As the mane seven talked about the recent catastrophe.
“The poor thing he must’ve been terrified! I still can’t believe some people. Asking them questions, laughing at them what’s this world coming too?” Rarity exclaimed,
“Speaking of poor things, you think their alright? They’ve been in their room a long time.” Applejack said.
“We could check on them.” Sunset said as her and the mane six walked to the boys room,
Meanwhile Bumper was on his makeshift bed crying as Timidthy pat his back.
“Come on Bumper it’s going to be fine. It’s not like we live here or anything.” He said,
“No it’s not! I wet myself in public! I want to go home!” Bumper cried.
“Bumper look at me.” Timidthy said sternly, Bumper slowly raised his head and looked into his friends eye’s.
“We can go home tomorrow but right now you need to breathe. It’s going to be fine. We can still have some fun and help you get over your problem. Okay?” Timidthy said, Bumper nodded. His former alicorn friend smiled,
“Good.” He said. Bumper wiped his tears,
“Sorry I’m acting like a baby aren’t I?” He said. Timidthy rolled his eyes,
“No your just in a very vulnerable and sensitive state. I think we both know I’ve been there.” He said. Bumper smiled warmly and got himself into bed,
“Thanks Tim.” He said. As Timidthy turned off the lights,
“No problem.” He replied before turning off the lights and getting to bed.
Unfortunately for the two the mane seven had been listening,
“Awww the poor dearie.” Rarity said.
“We need to make sure they’re last day here us great!” Rainbow said,
“Well….umm….I heard of this new bakery maybe we can take them there.” Fluttershy said.
“Good idea Fluttershy! Then we can take them to the movie Titanic tomorrow.” Sunset said and the rest of the mane seven agreed, they then walked back to their room.
Bumper was back to being a pony as he was at his eighth birthday. They we’re at Butcher’s sushi shack. As Bumper was shaking rapidly with excitement. His parents came out with a plate of sushi. Bumper’s eye’s widened as he shook his magic stuffed the fish into his mouth.
Butcher and Blossom gave each other nervous looks. They we’re silently praying they’re son wouldn’t go nuts like last time. Unfortunately for them they we’re wrong. Cause at that moment Bumper had run out of sushi. The colts pupils dilated back before he lost it.
He rose jumped on a neighboring table. And started eating more and more sushi. His parents tried to catch him before their son hurt himself.
Bumper sprung up gasping for air. His face then burned red as he buried his face into his hands. He hated it when he had nightmares like that. They taunted him no they tortured him. Reminding Bumper what happened to him if he had sushi. They reminded him and what shame it caused his father.
And yet he wanted to eat it so much. And for the second time today Bumper cried wishing his cravings would stop.
The next day Bumper and Timidthy we’re woken up early,
“Wakey-Wakey!” Pinkie said shaking Bumper. He groaned,
“I don’t want to wake up.” Timidthy on the other hand had woken up with a jump at Pinkie’s loud voice. He rubbed his eye’s,
“Come on Bumper it’s better we have some much needed fun today.” Timidthy said. Bumper groaned he got up,
“I hate you.” He said. Timidthy rolled his eyes,
“I love you too.” He teased. Bumper’s eye’s immediately shot open,
“Stop putting words in my mouth!” He said. Pinkie giggled and skipped out of the room knowing the two would be down shortly.
Hours later Timidthy, Bumper and the mane seven we’re at Sugar Cube Corner. Timidthy had a double chocolate brownie while Bumper had a simple vanilla cupcake. Trying to keep his mind away from the nightmare he had last night. The mane seven, all but Rarity, had different cupcakes as well.
“I still don’t see why you won’t have any desserts.” Pinkie said, Rarity scoffed.
“Easy I’m on a pescetarian diet.” She said, Bumper raised an eyebrow in confusion. Timidthy nearly chocked on his brownie,
“What’s that?” Fluttershy asked. Rarity smiled,
“It’s an all fish diet.” She replied. Bumper blushed a deep red.
“Tha-That’s a thing?” Bumper asked, Rarity looked over to him.
“Why yes dearie though you seem much to young to start……I’m sorry to change the subject. But…..are you okay darling? Your face is positively flushed.” She asked, Bumper snapped out of his daze.
“Oh! Ye-Yeah I’m fine….good….great.” He said, Rainbow snorted.
“Really? You look as if you died and went to heaven; what’s up?” She asked, Bumper’s face grew redder. He opened his mouth to say something,
“Nothin' I just like fish.” Bumper said. He slightly winced as he felt a part in his brain nag him for lying about his obsession.
“Umm….your sure? You kinda seem….fidgety.” Fluttershy said, Bumper stammered slightly. As his brain was struggling to find a good excuse. Luckily Timidthy took this moment to change the subject,
“Hey umm….I was wondering what kind of…..vegetables you have in this world!” He said. To be honest Timidthy hated vegetables but he was willing to suffer for Bumper.
“Oh that’s easy there are carrots, brussel sprouts, eggplant…..” Applejack rabbled on, Timidthy mentally groaned. Bumper on the other had gave his friend a grateful look.
“Alright Applejack stop! I’m not gonna sit here and hear you talk about vegetables!” Rainbow said, Sunset glared at Timidthy.
“Funny Tim I seem to remember your mother mentioning that you hate vegetables.” Sunset said, Timidthy paled slightly.
“Oh really? I hadn’t realized…..so how was being the student of my mother? Ya know until you betrayed her left for this world like a sleazy coward. Came back and took Twilight’s element and soon you tried to invade Equestria with a teenage army. So…..are we done here?” He said getting slightly irritated with each sentence. Everyone went silent as Timidthy just sat with a victorious smile,
“Wow.” Pinkie finally said. Bumper smiled happily,
“Wow Tim if you keep that up your going to make an awesome ruler!” He said. Timidthy blushed and smiled sheepishly,
“I would not.” He muttered. Bumper rolled his eyes,
“Oh you would!” He said. Finally Rainbow spoke as she was chocking back laughs.
“Man Sunset you just got guilt tripped by an eight-
“Six.” Bumper interrupted, everyone went silent again. Finally Rainbow fell over laughing while clutching her sides. Sunset hit her forehead while Timidthy couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride. Bumper noticed,
“Oooooh! Somepony is getting more confident! Quick Rarity complement his hair!” He playfully teased. Rarity smiled,
“Well I have to say his hair is very neat especially for a boy his age.” She said. Timidthy giggled nervously as his face grew redder,
“Come on Tim you have to get used to compliments if your gonna take the throne.” Applejack said. Timidthy muttered something just before Pinkie spoke,
“Hey guys the movie is gonna start in ten minutes! We have to go!” She said.
“Oh right!” Sunset said and the mane seven, Bumper, and Timidthy got up. Everyone threw their desserts away, except for Timidthy of course. Bumper rolled his eyes,
“You can’t take that in the theater Tim. If you want to keep it eat it.” He said. Timidthy blushed as everyone looked at him, Bumper sighed and shook his head.
“Stuff it in your mouth.” He said simply, Timidthy opened his mouth to reply.
“Tim. This is your only chance to be a real kid without worrying some paparazzi will take pictures if you. Stuff. It. In. You. Mouth.” Bumper said, Timidthy did as he was told and stuffed the brownie in his mouth. The former alicorn winced expecting ridicule and humiliation. Bumper lightly pat him on the back,
“That’s a good prince.” He said as if talking to a dog. Bumper then grabbed Timidthy by the wrist band pulled him along.
It was late by the time the mane seven, Bumper, and Timidthy got to the school.
“So you, your brother, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shinning Armor, and Flurry Heart really have to worry about paparazzi taking pictures of you?” Pinkie asked and Timidthy nodded,
“Y-Yes. I….I always have to be careful.” He said.
“Yeah but don’t worry when Tim's original royal guards retire I’m gonna take their place. And I’ll protect him at all cost!” Bumper said causing everybody to laugh. The group then stopped at the portal,
“Well I guess this is goodbye.” Bumper said. Timidthy gulped,
“Yeah it was fun except for yesterday.” He said. Bumper nodded nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
“Seeya guys next time.” Sunset said, and the two walked towards the portal. But as soon as they made contact they we’re immediately repelled back. Both of them fell on their bottoms and yelped in pain.
“What happened!?” Twilight said, for a moment Sunset was confused until the realization by it her hard.
“Oh no!” She said, everyone looked at her.
“Wha-What is it?” Timidthy asked as he getting up,
“The portal has a time limit on it! I was so busy I hadn’t remembered!” Sunset said.
“So what does that mean!?” Bumper asked,
“It means you and Timidthy bare stuck here. For one month.” She replied. And everybody gasped while Timidthy passed out. As he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.
Meanwhile on the other side of the portal….
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie we’re absconding with the book to power the mirror.
“Just wait till Twilight realizes it’s missing! It’s gonna be hilarious!” Rainbow said,
“Yeah!” Pinkie agreed. Fortunately for them the alicorn had just realized,
“RAINBOW DASH! PINKIE! ” Twilight screamed. And she flew out of her castle towards the two, Pinkie giggled. She then threw the book to Rainbow and she flew off at high speeds.
“Pinkie!” Twilight said,
“Aww! Don’t worry Twilight we’re just borrowing it!” Pinkie said just as Twilight sped by her. Rainbow was laughing all the while as she held the book.
“Don’t worry Twi it’s not like somepony is on the other side!” She said,
“No you don’t understand! Timidthy and Bumper are on the other side!” Twilight screamed.
“What!?” Rainbow and Pinkie said simultaneity, unfortunately in Rainbow’s shock she had dropped the book. But before anypony could try to get it back. A manticore had ate and ran towards the Everfree Forest. The three mares chased after the manticore. Knowing that book was the only way Timidthy and Bumper could get back home.
Back on the other side of the portal…..
Bumper pulled out a chocolate bar, opened it, and broke it in front of Timidthy’s nose. The prince got up immediately and Bumper handed him the chocolate bar to eat.
“Okay now that Tim is awake…..how!? Twilight had a magnesium for the portal!” Bumper said, Timidthy nodded this time not hesitating to stuff his mouth.
“Well most likely the book has been taken or removed. So until the time being we either gave to wait a month. Or hope that the book is placed back soon.” Sunset said, Timidthy swallowed as tears started to build up in his eyes.
“I don’t wanna be stuck here.” He wined, sounding like an actual six year old who wasn’t getting desert.
“Well I don’t want to be stuck here either; no offense. But your world is horrible.” Bumper said,
“And how is it so bad?” Rainbow asked challenging the former unicorns beliefs.
“Well…me and Tim can’t use magic. And Tim can’t fly, we’ve both been humiliated recently in this world. And to add to that me and Tim said we we’re going to be here for a week. How do you think our parent’s will react when they find out we’re stuck here!” Bumper replied his face actually going red with rage,
“Bumper deep breathes.” Timidthy said. Bumper rolled his eye’s but took a couple deep breathes as told.
“Look we know y’all are upset but our world can be pretty fun once ya get used to it. How about we show ya around?” Apple Jack suggested, Bumper shook his head.
“I just want to be alone.” He said before walking off, Twilight tried to go after him but Timidthy grabbed her wrist.
“He wants to be alone.” He said sternly,
“Are you mad!? He could get himself hurt or lost!” Rarity said. Timidthy looked at her,
“No he won’t. He needs to clear his head.” He said. “Trust me I know my friend.”
Bumper wasn’t sure how long he had been walking but when he looked up at the sky. He saw it was dark he sighed and started heading back home. Almost all the lights we’re out as everyone was heading to bed. Sad music began to play as Bumper looked up into the sky.
Why can’t life be fair to those who deserve it?
I never wished to be cursed with my obsession.
Popularity means nothing to me.
Why can’t life give those needed the courage to go forward.
Timidthy never wanted to be a coward.
He wants to be brave, and to be respected.
But many reject him.
He praises his mother and wishes to be like her.
Too bad be doesn’t believe to be a good leader.
Life please have mercy on thee and all who I hold dear.
Why can’t life be fair to those who deserve it?
The music had ended as Bumper walked into Pinkie's house. He quietly walked up the stairs and into him and Timidthy’s room. He was shocked once he saw his alicorn bud was awake.
“I’m glad your back. Wanna talk?” Timidthy said, Bumper smiled and sat down next to him.
“So how are you feeling?” Timidthy asked, Bumper sighed his smile disappearing.
“Well I feel like kicking Twilight’s skull in when we get back. But other than that I’m just really sad right now.” He said,
“Here.” Timidthy said. Bumper looked to see a sushi plush in his friends hands. It was a nigiri it had a white body on the bottom with a cute smiling face on it. As light blue happy eyes started at Bumper. The top had a large piece of navy blue salmon with three white slashes going over the top. Finally the two pieces we’re sewn tightly together by a long black piece of cloth.
Bumper licked his lips feeling his body shake, Timidthy held back a laugh.
“It’s fake. I got Rarity to make it. It’s a comfort object. I’m not gonna be around all the time. So when you feel embarrassed about your obsession. Or when you have a nightmare, like last night, and I’m not awake or around. Just hug it and it will play a phrase. Not to mention it’s super soft and plushy.” He said, Bumper blushed.
“Thanks. But don’t ya think it’s a bit girly? And counterproductive against my obsession?” He muttered,
“Admittedly Yes. And a little bit. But you know it’s fake, you need the real stuff to get you to go nuts. Unlike me who literally would run away from a plush bird.” Timidthy said muttering the last part. “Plus if you spend more time in contact with this. It might just give you a bit more resistance to real thing.”
Bumper smiled,
“Come on take it.” Timidthy said. His friend gulped and took the plush in his still shaking grasp, Bumper took deep breathes repeating in his head that it was fake. He looked at Timidthy who was looking at him expectantly, finally Bumper hugged it.
“Avoid my kind and you’ll be fine!” The sushi exclaimed in a girl's Japanese voice, Bumper relaxed slightly as a smile formed in his face.
“I’m glad you like it her name is Chinami.” Timidthy said, “ Now let’s get ready for bed it’s late.” Bumper nodded and placed his new plush on his bed, he then walked into the restroom.
“Take your time.” The prince said,
“Don’t worry I won’t be long.” Bumper said. Having a feeling he’d sleep much better tonight.
Timidthy woke up the next morning a bit later then he normally did. He rubbed his eye’s and chuckled softly when he saw Bumper. The former unicorn was wrapped up in his sheets hugging his Chinami closely. Timidthy smiled, he was glad Bumper liked his gift. Timidthy was going to go downstairs and make some breakfast.
But he noticed Bumper was starting to stir slightly, he released his grip on the plush to rub his eye’s. Bumper got up and stretched his arms, he smiled when he saw Timidthy was awake.
“Mornin' Tim.” Bumper said,
“Mornin' to you as well. How’d you sleep?” Timidthy replied.
“Pretty good.” His friends replied as he picked up his plush starting to shake a little. “Still trying to get used to this thing though.” Timidthy chuckled,
“Don’t worry it takes everypony time to adjust.” He said. Bumper stood up making sure to keep a good grip on his plush. Timidthy got up as well and pulled out a brush to straighten his hair.
“Tim. You don’t have to fix your hair your not in Canterlot where everypony has to look perfect.” Bumper said,
“I’m aware of that I just want to stay in habit. Plus I hate mass hair. Just because you can’t think of a style to out it in. Doesn’t mean you can’t make it look at least decent.” Timidthy replied. Bumper snorted and playfully rolled his eyes,
“Okay I won’t stop you.” He said. And the two boy’s headed down stairs, they walked into the kitchen. Only to find a note on the fridge; Timidthy picked up the note and read it out loud.

Sorry I had to go out to work at Sugar Cube Corner! I left twenty dollars on the counter so you guys can get food! I’ll be back at six!

Bumper's face went red,
“When did she…..ya know what? Not. Questioning. It.” He said. Timidthy looked around and found the money, when he found it he picked it up.
“Come on let’s get dressed.” He said, Bumper nodded blush still present on his face.
The two we’re now walking down the street heading to the restaurant Gordido.
“How do you think Twilight is reacting to us being stuck here?” Timidthy asked,
“Maybe something like this. Sweet Celestia! The prince of therapy is stuck on the other side big the portal! Princess Celestia is gonna send me to magic kindergarten for sure!” Bumper said doing an impression of Twilight. Timidthy giggled,
“Pretty good but Rainbow Dash does better.” He said through his giggles.
“Funny stuff. But I know something a lot better.” A unknown voice said, Timidthy and Bumper turned around to see a guy and two girls. The guy had green hair that was in a bowl cut and wore a red t-shirt with a skull on it and a black jean jacket to go with. His jeans we’re black as well as his skin was a pale light blue. His eye’s we’re purple and he had a dimple on his left cheek. One of the girls had long sunset orange hair.
And she wore a tight crop shirt that was white and had the words “Kiss me” on it. With the “i” being dotted with a four leaf clover, the girl had cream orange skin. Her eye’s we’re neon yellow. The girl wore pink crop top short shorts as she wore pink cowboy boots with it. And finally lips we’re coated in magenta lipstick as her amber eye’s stared at the boy’s.
The other girl wore white bell bottom jeans and a tight wine red shirt. Her hair was cherry red in a pixie cut and her skin was turquoise, she had white blue freckles. And clearly had way too much lip gloss on as her eye’s we’re magenta pink. The three looked to be fifteenth and we’re almost two times taller then Timidthy and Bumper.
Timidthy was slightly intimidated by the group and shrunk in hopes of hiding. Bumper on the other hand crossed his arms and had his eyes narrowed in suspicion. He pulled his friend to his side making sure Timidthy was protected.
“What do you want?” Bumper asked,
“Name's Dare Devil.” Dare Devil said. The sunset haired girl spoke up next,
“I’m Black Orchid. And my sister here is Cherry Turnover. And we we’re wanting to know faggots we’re going?” Cherry Turnover giggled at her sisters comment. Timidthy and Bumper on the other had we’re not amused as blush spread on their faces.
“W-We do not swing that way.” Timidthy muttered,
“Well then why we’re you and the wetter over there hugging after the rescue.” Cherry Turnover pitched in.
“Maybe it’s because we actually care about each other. Unlike you three who would have let your sister fall to her death on that roller coaster. Now if you don’t mind we’re leaving!” Bumper snapped back, him and Timidthy then turned around and started walking away. But the two we’re quickly pushed to the ground,
“Nobody talks to my friends like that.” Dare Devil said putting his foot on Timidthy's back. The former alicorn yelped in pain as his breathing was becoming limited.
“Get off him!” Bumper screamed as he got up but the back of his shirt was grabbed by Cherry Turnover. Black Orchid walked in front of Bumper and punched his hard in the stomach. The former unicorn went down clutching his stomach.
“Why……are…..you…..doing…..this?” Timidthy asked starting to feel light headed,
“Because this is fun.” Dare Devil said to him before Timidthy blacked out. Black Orchid took notice of this and walked over to him. She picked his pockets and took out the twenty dollars he then took Timidthy’s pocket watch.
“Leave him alone.” Bumper said finally regaining his composure, Dare Devil rolled his eye’s.
“Oh really and what are you going to do?” He said, Bumper blinked for a moment before tears weld up in his eye’s. He got up and got into a fighting stance,
“I’m gonna beat you up.” Bumper said.
Dare Devil laughed as he walked up to Bumper,
“Fine. I’ll fight you. Bit when you come home and your mommy asks what happens. Tell her you got what you deserved.” He said. Bumper gulped every fiber in his body was telling him to run, but he chose to ignore it. He decided to take his first move as he tried to kick Dare Devil. But the older boy grabbed his leg and slammed him on the ground. Bumper was slightly dizzy from the move as Dare Devil took this to his advantage.
He picked Bumper up by the collar of his shirt as was about to give him a black eye’s. But Bumper wasn’t having it as he kicked Dare Devil in the groin very hard. He went down like a fly and Cherry Turnover along with Black Orchid advanced onto Bumper. But before they could reach him they suddenly tripped over something. Bumper started in shock as he saw Timidthy had tripped the girls.
He had a sheepish smile on his face,
“Your awesome.” Bumper said. Timidthy blushed a deep red.
“Come on let’s get out of here.” He said running up to Bumper,
“Not so fast.” Dare Devil said. As him and his cronies got up. Bumper turned to Timidthy, he had a guilty look on his face.
“I apologize in advance for this.” He said before he used both of his hand to hit Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid on their stomachs. Slightly underneath the belly button, he used enough force to knock the two girls over. Dare Devil, being distracted by Timidthy, didn’t notice Bumper do the same thing to him. He then grabbed Timidthy by the arms and the two boy’s ran away before the group could regain their composure.
“So why’d you do that?” Bumper asked, Timidthy looked away his face going red.
“It was a pressure point.” He said, Bumper raised an eyebrow now interested.
“Yeah? What does it do?” He said, Timidthy bit his lip and cleared his throat.
“It makes someone……umm…..’fertalize’ their pants.” He said delicately, and as soon as Timidthy did. As if on cue, the two boy’s heard the group scream in shock and humiliation. Bumper had a look of shock on his face,
“One. Gross. Two. Awesome. And three. How and why do you know it?” He said an impressed grin making his way onto his face. Timidthy blushed even redder,
“Mother made me. Since I’m a pacifist and normally don’t fight anypony. Also she’s making me practice a few in case I can’t use my horn. Or fly away out if a situation. I guess she was right.” Timidthy said shyly. Bumper laughed,
“Well at least those jerks will learn their lesson.” He said as the two continued to run until they we’re back at Pinkie's.
Bumper and Timidthy we’re now in their guest room, Bumper was hugging his plush more than a little stressed from almost having to do another unfair fight. Timidthy was reading a book as he tried to clear his head of any negative thoughts.
But of course his instincts we’re telling him he needed food. And he could tell Bumper was feeling the same way. As he heard his stomach groan and his friend put the plushie down. Most likely afraid he would eat it,
“Does Pinkie have any food around here? I hate to steal from her but we don’t have any other option.” Timidthy said.
“I don’t know. Let’s see.” Bumper said, they walked down the stairs and rummaged through the fridge. But they only found sweets and being much too rattled to go back outside. Not to mention their money was stolen Timidthy and Bumper decided to just wait for Pinkie to come home. They sighed and walked back up the stairs,
“I can’t believe she had nothing but deserts.” Bumper complained.
“Yeah maybe she’ll go shopping after her job?” Timidthy said, a couple hour’s later it was five o'clock. And the boy’s we’re eagerly waiting for Pinkie's return. But suddenly they heard a banging on the house door, Timidthy gulped while Bumper ran over and locked the door. The banging continued until both of them heard the door being broken down. Timidthy ran over and turned off the lights and drew the curtains over the window.
“B-Bumper. I-I’m scared.” He said and Bumper nodded looking around for his plushie, he picked it up. Suddenly Bumper and Timidthy heard pounding footsteps come up the stairs. The two quickly ran into the bathroom. And made sure to quietly close the door. Timidthy locked it and turned off the bathroom light, they then heard the door being pounded just like the first.
And this time Timidthy and Bumper winced with each hit. Finally it sounded as if the door had been broken down and Timidthy and Bumper hid in the bathtub. They then heard thing in their room being broken, turned over, or thrown around. Finally the door to the bathroom began to be hit with the force of a ten thousand men. By then Timidthy was shaking and Bumper was holding his plushie with one arm.
While with the other he had it behind his back bawling it into a fist. Ready to blindly hit the intruder if found, the door then came down and crashed to the floor. Timidthy was wiping his eyes by now knowing if his tears hit the tub floor. They would sound the intruder to where they we’re. Bumper was trying to keep his breathing quiet and steady as they heard the bathroom being torn apart.
Finally the intruder walked towards the tub and both boys we’re really struggling to keep their composure. The intruder suddenly stopped and turned around as if it was changing it’s mind. That is a inappropriately cheerful voice said:
“Avoid my kind and you’ll be fine!” Timidthy gave Bumper a terrified glance, and his friend’s face was red as he shook. Realizing his mistake. Suddenly the shower curtain was torn off and before they could even get a good look at the intruder. It put rags over the boy’s mouths and they immediately passed out.
Timidthy’s eyes fluttered open, his eyes looked around realizing he was in some sort of warehouse. He felt fabric against his mouth and soon realized he was gagged. Timidthy tried to turn his head but soon realized he couldn’t, he was now starting to panic. His eye’s trailed down and with his limited vision. He was able to tell that he was in a wooden chair with his arms held down with metal straps.
Timidthy whimpered, suddenly he heard a familiar muffled voice,
“Mmmmm! Mumm-Mumm!” On instinct the captive tried to turn his head. Only to once again be stopped, he tried to move his eye’s towards the sound. Luckily Timidthy was just barley able to see Bumper. He was strapped down and gagged just like him, Timidthy let out a loud pitiful cry. It was embarrassing for him but he needed Bumper to know he was in the room with him.
The former unicorn turned his eye’s over to Timidthy; just barely able to see him. Bumper then tried to break his way out but the straps we’re on too tight. Suddenly though Timidthy and Bumper heard footsteps approach. The boys tried to track the source of the noise, finally though a figure walked out. And muffled gasped came from Bumper and Timidthy as they saw Dare Devil.
“Hello brats.” He said as Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid stepped out as well, Cherry Turnover walked over and took the gags off the boys.
“Let us go!” Bumper said as soon as his was taken off,
“Nope.” Black Orchid responded.
“We’re gonna have a little fun. Since you humiliated us we’re going to humiliate you. But first; let’s try a little pressure point.” Dare Devil said with a wicked grin. Bumper and Timidthy then gulped not liking where this was going, and they we’re right. Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid walked over to Bumper and Timidthy. And the two girls pulled up the boy’s shirts, much to their embarrassment.
“Nice to know your both outies.” Cherry Turnover commented before putting extreme force on Timidthy’s stomach. Just below his belly button, he cried out in fear and pain.
“Your not supposed to put that much pressure on it.” Timidthy muttered, Black Orchid scoffed as she bawled her hand into a fist. And punched Bumper just bellow his belly button, he cried out in pain. The two messily pulled their shirts back down and walked back to Dare Devil. They smiled as they saw both hero’s we’re blushing like mad knowing what was to come.
“Now while we wait for the real show. Turnover you mind getting out our special item?” Dare Devil asked, Cherry Turnover giggled.
“Sure thing.” She said before walking off,
“You guy’s are cowards! Kidnapping children just to get back at us for defending ourselves!? I hope you got in tarturious!” Bumper screamed in disgust. Black Orchid laughed,
“Oooooh! I’m shakin' just wait till you scrap yourselves then you’ll have no quips to dish out!” She said.
“Speaking of ‘dish’ we really need to feed your bird.” Dare Devil said, Black Orchid smiled devilishly.
“Thanks for reminding me! But I forget my pet’s bowl.” She said pretending to be sad, Timidthy and Bumper just stared at the two. Trying to figure out where this was going, but the two we’re interrupted with the gurgling of their stomachs. Timidthy and Bumper blushed redder; it was going to happen any minute. Dare Devil and Black Orchid tool notice and snickered.
“Anyway; we could always use the squeamish one’s hair.” Dare Devil said, Timidthy gasped as Black Orchid walked over and pulled out a small leather bag.
“Don’t you dare touch him!” Bumper screamed; only to get slapped by Dare Devil.
“Shut up!” He said, Black Orchid ignored Bumper and opened the bag. And poured small insects into Timidthy’s hair, the former alicorn screamed. He wanted to shake the insects out of his hair but he couldn’t. They crawled in his scalp and on his hair and just when Timidthy and Bumper thought it couldn’t get any worse. A high pitched bird call filled the air and a male costa's hummingbird flew through the air.
The bird top half of it’s neck, and especially it’s head was a mixture of indigo, purple, and blue. While the rest of it's body was a inky black. It landed on Timidthy’s head and started pecking out the insects. Timidthy started shaking, and sweating as he started crying. Bumper's eye’s widened in horror,
“Stop it!” He begged. Black Orchid laughed,
“No way! This is hilarious! There’s no reason to be afraid of my bird. It’s one of the smallest hummingbirds ever! His name is Peepers by the way. Oh and just to point out after a big meal he gets sleepy so he might wrap up in your hair.” She said as Dare Devil snickered. Timidthy whimpered as he wanted so desperately to run. Suddenly the sound of small tapping filled the room and Cherry Turnover came in with a tray of nigiri sushi. Bumper gasped as he face burned red, and that wasn’t from the pain he felt in his bowels. He began to shake as his brain was telling him he needed the sushi,
“We saw this widdle thing in your arms when we knocked you out.” Dare Devil said pulling out Bumper’s Chinami. The former alicorns face went redder, he needed his plushie. He felt like he was going to loose it,
“We thought that since you like it so much. That we’d get you the real thing. Don’t worry about eating. We’ll feed it too you!” Cherry Turnover said in a inappropriately cheerful voice.
“Don’t do it! Please just please stop.” Timidthy whimpered,
“Sorry freak but no.” Dare Devil said. Cherry Turnover walked over to Bumper carrying the tray. She didn’t even hesitate as she started to stuff sushi in the former unicorns mouth. Bumper didn’t have time to speak until the fifth sushi entered his mouth his body twitching visibly.
“Stop! Do anything else to me please!” He begged, but Cherry Turnover ignored his pleas. She continued to stuff more and more into his mouth. Until it was actually impossible for Bumper to even chew. She then duck tapped his mouth shut and used the remaining sushi to curl in his hair. Like accessories, Bumpers breathing had become quick and rapid.
Whether it was because he was only able to breathe out of his mouth and trying to contain his sushi obsession. Timidthy didn’t know but he knew if that sushi went down Bumper's throat he’d explode for sure. Once Cherry Turnover was done she walked back to Dare Devil and her sister. They we’re on the floor laughing, she smiled felling a swell of pride from her brilliance. Cherry Turnover started laughing as well; as soon as the group was done with their laughter they looked back to their victims.
But they noticed something had changed about them. Timidthy and Bumper’s faces we’re burned red as their eye’s we’re shut to avoid eye contact. And both of them we’re crying a dam of tears, Dare Devil smirked. They had pooped themselves, he had to admit he was impressed the two had last as long as they did. But of course, he wouldn’t admit it out loud.
“Well aren’t you guy’s a bunch of party poopers.” Dare Devil said instead. Timidthy and Bumper sbut their eye’s tighter at the intended pun. As the group laughed at their humiliation.
“TIMIDTHY! BUMPER! ” Sunset screamed as her and the mane seven looked around town,
“I can’t believe they’re just gone!” Fluttershy said as tears streamed down her face.
“Maybe we should go back and check Pinkie’s place again?” Applejack suggested,
“No we already tried that it’s time to go to the police!” Rainbow said.
“I agree.” Rarity said, and it was settled. The mane seven walked over to the police station and talked to the nearest officer. When they we’re done with that they headed back to Pinkie's. The place was still a mess when they got back.
“So what do we do now?” Pinkie asked, unsure whether the police would find Timidthy and Bumper. But suddenly Sunset's phone rang, she looked to see it was an unknown number. She answered it and put her phone on speaker, as a girl’s voice came through.
“Hello Sunset and company! We have a bit of an offer for you! Me and my friends have Bumper and Timidthy. If you come here and are able to beat our leader we will let Timidthy and Bumper go. But if you refuse to come to our location or you fail to beat our leader. We will send these to everyone in this state to see!” Photo’s we’re then sent to Fluttershy's phone and she almost dropped her phone when she saw the pictures. Applejack ran over and took a look,
“Land sakes!” She said. As pictures of Bumper and Timidthy came up with them being tortured and humiliated. She showed the pictures to Sunset who scowled at them.
“Who are are!?” She said,
“You’ll see. Just head to the abandoned warehouse on the countryside by the barn.” The voice ordered. The person on the other line then hung up and all the mane seven had looks of anger in their faces. They all then ran to Pinkie’s car and piled in ready to make the kidnappers pay. Once Pinkie was out of the city of punched it and sped as fast as she legally could go. When they found the place Pinkie hit the brakes so hard.
Everyone would’ve flew from the seats if not for their seatbelts.
“Come on let’s go!” Rainbow said, and everyone pilled out of the car they busted into the building no problem. And listened out for anything suspicious,
“Wait. I heard something.” Rarity said. And everyone stopped and went quiet, they heard whimpering and crying.
“That has to be Timidthy!” Twilight said and everyone ran towards the sounds, when they got there they we’re all shocked to see the boys.
“Oh my!” Fluttershy said, Rarity ran over to them and undid the duck tap on Bumper’s mouth. Rarity barely had time to back away. Before the former unicorn forcibly spit and spewed all the sushi out of his mouth. The mane seven cringed; by the time Bumper was done his face was burning red and he was out of breath. Fluttershy timidly (pun intended) walked over to Timidthy, the former alicorn was shaking and crying.
As if he hadn’t even realized anyone was there, Fluttershy saw Peepers on top of Timidthy. And she called the small bird off of his head,
“I wanna go home!” Timidthy wailed. Sunset took a hair pin from Rarity and started to undo the clasps on Timidthy’s chair. As Rarity undid the clasps on Bumper’s chair.
“Don’t worry we’ll get you out of here. Now who did this to you?” Sunset said, as she managed to undo the clasps holding down Timidthy’s arms. Unfortulently neither captives had the chance to answer. As there kidnappers stepped out of the darkness,
“It was us. Now Cherry Turnover, Black Orchid why don’t you assist out guests.” Dare Devil said. The two girls then pulled out a remote and pressed a button. Suddenly cages fell on everyone but Sunset and the clasps on Bumper and Timidthy’s chair undid themselves. Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid then walked over to Bumper and Timidthy. The two boy’s froze; completely terrified of the cronies.
They picked their captives up and forced them on the ground. They put most of their body weight on the boys and grabbed the edge of their underwear.
“What are y’all doing!? Let them go!” Applejack said,
“Shut up bumpkin! We’ll do what we want! Plus this is to ensure our guy wins.” Black Orchid said.
“Listen Sunset. We’re gonna fight. But every time you hurt me my associates will pull on your friend’s undies. Not only will it be painful but because of a wonderful little trick we did. The mess their pants will ride up on them.” Dare Devil said, Timidthy and Bumper's faces went red again. And they shut their eye’s tightly,
“That’s not fair!” Rainbow said. Dare Devil scoffed, Cherry Turnover laughed.
“Who said this fight was going to be fair?” Black Orchid said,
“Oh and just as an example to what will happen…” Cherry Turnover said.
“Wait please don’t-“ Timidthy begged but he was cut off as the two yanked his and Bumper’s underwear hard. They cried out in pain their faces going completely red. Cherry and Orchid made sure to pull as far as they could before they let the elastic snap back. Bumper and Timidthy yelped in pain when it made contact, the mane seven stared in horror. Once it was over they turned their gazes back to Sunset.
Who was looking at Timidthy and Bumper,
“I’m sorry.” She said before she looked back at Dare Devil. He had a smug grin,
“It’s okay if you don’t want to-“ He said before Sunset uppercut him. Everypony gasped, as Timidthy’s and Bumper’s screams filled the air again.
“Sorry coward. But you asked for a fight and now I’m gonna give it too ya.” Sunset said, Dare Devil got up and wiped some blood from his lip.
“Fine. But know I’ve never lost a fight.” He said,
“Ha! That’s a lie! I can tell these guy’s you lost a fight to-“ Bumper said. Before Black Orchid pulled his underwear, Timidthy stared daggers at her.
“It’s the truth-” He managed to squeak out, but Cherry Turnover pulled his underwear. The two went quiet as tears fell from their eye’s. Dare Devil laughed at them but Sunset interrupted by grabbing him by the collar of his shirts.
“Let’s fight.” She said and Sunset then punched Dare Devil in the chest.
Bumper and Timidthy screamed again as Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid yanked at their underwear. Dare Devil got up again. He went for a hit but Sunset grabbed his first; she started squeezing his hand. Dare Devil cried out in pain, Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid pulled even harder. Bumper and Timidthy held back screams, they shared looks before the former unicorn nodded and spoke.
“Sunset keep fighting and hit-“ He said before another yank cut him off, Timidthy yelped in pain. Sunset then flipped Dare Devil onto the floor, she hesitantly dived onto Dare Devil and started punching him in the face. And each time Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid would pull harder and further. Dare Devil had enough and pushed Sunset off and got up as well. But before she could get her bearings Dare Devil crane kicked Sunset straight in the jaw.
She screamed in pain and fell back,
“Don’t give up Sunset!” Pinkie said.
“Yes show those brutes who’s boss!” Rarity said, Sunset smiled warmly before she ran up to Dare Devil. And kicked him in the groin, he screamed and hit the ground. Suddenly though two unholy screams broke free, everyone turned around. Just in time to see the elastic to Bumper and Timidthy’s underwear give out. As the sound of tearing filled the room and the remaining underwear snapped back.
Causing Bumper and Timidthy to scream even louder. Sunset took this moment to kick Dare Devil in the head. Knocking him out and winning the fight. Cherry Turnover and Black Orchid stared dumbfounded at Sunset.
“Now let my friend’s go!” She said and Cherry pulled out a remote and pressed a button. Once she did the cages fell apart, her and Black Orchid then quickly got off of Timidthy and Bumper. The former unicorn immediately shot up and knocked all the sushi out of his hair. He was shaking fighting every impulse in his body to not eat any of the fish. Timidthy got up as well,
“Tha-Thank you.” He said his voice sounding very weak.
“We’re just glad you're okay.” Fluttershy said,
“Yeah! Now come on let's call the police on those….” Rainbow said. Before she looked around and saw Dare Devil, Cherry Turnover, and Black Orchid was gone.
“You gotta be kidding me! They got away!” Applejack said, Rarity looked at the table and saw Bumper’s plushie. She then picked it up and walked over to the former unicorn.
“Here dearie.” Rarity said, Bumper stared at his plushie with fear as he seemed to vibrate just by looking at it. Timidthy recognized this and grabbed Bumper’s wrist.
“I think it’s better we keep him away from that. Along with fish in general.” Timidthy said, ‘Want…… sushi!’ Bumper thought in the back of his head.
“Alright then.” Applejack said before she lifted the two boys into her arms, and the mane seven filled out of the warehouse. Ready to get their friend’s home as soon as possible.
It was near midnight as Bumper and Timidthy we’re as clean as a whistle. But Bumper tossed and turned in his bed; he lacked his plushie. Much too embarrassed and afraid to be around it; the former unicorn then shot out of bed. His entire body was shaking as his mouth watered he wanted sushi. Bumper looked over to Timidthy and saw his best bud was still sleeping.
He got up from his makeshift bed and quietly left the room. Bumper snuck into the kitchen and opened the fridge; after some searching he found a small container. His hands shook as he opened it; it was sushi. Bumper hated doing it but he had stole the container from Rarity’s purse. He wasn’t sure what had come over him but he was slightly glad he had did it before.
Bumper’s face began to heat up as he picked up a piece and ate it. He practically inhaled the rest if the sushi. Slowly yet surely losing control. Once Bumper was done he put the container back in the fridge. And closed it, the former unicorn licked his lips.
He needed more.
He turned around hoping that he could maybe find some money around the house. And buy some cheap sushi; but fate didn’t smile kindly on Bumper. His blood ran cold and he stopped in his tracks as Timidthy looked at him with a piercing gaze. His eyes were glowing slightly as he had a look of disappointment and anger. Timidthy cleared his throat,
“Bumper……why don’t we have a little talk?” He said calmly. Bumper winced slightly and shrunk back, Timidthy’s look softened a bit. “I’m not here to judge. I’m just here to help you to the right path.”
Bumper nodded slightly and followed the prince up the stairs. Once they we’re in the room Timidthy turned on the lights, and Bumper tried to relax his breathing. He wrapped up in his makeshift covers and avoided Timidthy’s gaze.
“Ummm……how….how much d-did….you see?” Bumper muttered much too afraid to raise it any higher,
“Just nearing the end.” Timidthy responded. Bumper blushed a deep crimson,
“I-I’m sorry! I couldn’t help myself! I wish I could just have a phobia of sushi! At least I’d avoid it like the plague! But with this stupid obsession I hate sushi but I want it so much!” He said tears staring to flow from his eyes. Timidthy hugged Bumper, “You have to help me.”
“Don’t worry we just need to try harder. Tomorrow we can get some of those patches. And maybe we can try to help you further with your plushie. But tonight I’m gonna try something a bit unorthodox.” Timidthy said soothingly. He then went to the rooms only dresser he pulled out a medium sized leather portable suitcase. The leather suitcase had Timidthy’s cutiemark on it as the former alicorn walked back over to Bumper. The friend it question raised an eyebrow,
“Wait…..how’d you get that bag here if you didn’t have it when we first came here?” He asked.
“Easy; after I visited you before our “wonderful” trip here I flew over to Ponyville with my bag and got Twilight to give this to Sunset. I was worried something bad might happen to cause you to regress back into your sad state. And well….you're pretty close as it is. So it’s time to break out everything I got!” Timidthy said his voice slowly rising in confidence, Bumper blushed.
“You’d really do that for me?” He asked,
“I’d do that for Dare Devil, Cherry Turnover, and Black Orchid. I’d never leave a pony that’s in pain or needs help.” Timidthy replied. Bumper sniffed and hugged his alicorn best bud,
“Thank you!” He said.
“Bumper? Bumper? Bumper wake up.” Timidthy said, as he shook his friend. Who now had a pair of headphones in his ears that would repeat a mantra in his sleep. Bumper grumbled slowly waking up, he took the headphones off and rubbed his eye’s.
“I don’t wanna get up.” He muttered,
“Bumper remember out conversation last night? We need to get you some more patches.” Timidthy said. Bumper blushed remembering the night before, he then got up wordlessly got up.
“You alright?” Timidthy asked,
“I…..I just can’t believe I did that.” The former unicorn said. Tears building in his eye’s, Timidthy hugged him.
“It’s alright. Now come on get yourself ready and I’ll be downstairs.” He said, Bumper nodded. He did as he was told and got up and got ready. Bumper then walked down the stairs and was almost immediately dragged by Timidthy. As the prince walked his friend out the front door,
“So what are we gonna do after we get…..ya know what.” Bumper said his face going red again. Timidthy smiled;
“We’re gonna work with your sushi problem by using your plushie. Then we’ll try a few other things until you feel like yourself again. I would try to get you over sushi entirely but….I’m not sure if that would be a good idea.” He said. Bumper nodded the two continued until they got to the hospital. Once they got there Timidthy sat Bumper in the waiting room.
“I’ll be back. I need to pick-up the patches.” Timidthy said,
“Alright Tim but you don’t need to treat me like your son or anything. Just because of my sushi problem.” Bumper said a hint of blush on his face. Timidthy giggled,
“I’m not treating you like my son.” He said as he began to walk off, “I’m treating you like my second brother.” Bumper’s face went even redder. He gave a smile, he couldn’t believe Timidthy thought of him as his second brother. The more Bumper thought about it the more giddy he felt he started to wonder what Blood Bones's reaction would be. ‘Knowing Blood Bones he’d probably get insanely jealous.’ Bumper thought just as Timidthy came back with ten patches in his hand.
“Come on we should really get home. Pinkie will be up in twenty minutes.” He said, Bumper got up and him and his best brother left the hospital. As they walked back to Pinkie’s; Bumper’s face continued to get redder. Timidthy looked over concerned for Bumper,
“You okay?” He asked. Bumper looked away as he rubbed the back of his neck,
“Yeah I’m fine. I…..I guess I just feel happy that you think of me as a brother. How long have ya thought about me like that anyway?” He asked. This time it was Timidthy’s turn to blush,
“Oh! Remember when you we’re crying about the Einstein Cube and Spice revealing your secret of the chattie?” He said, Bumper nodded.
“That’s when.” Timidthy said,
“Thanks.” Bumper said.
“For what?” The former alicorn asked, Bumper put his hands in his pocket.
“For helping me and making me feel like my sushi problem isn’t nothing to worry about. It’s a big deal to me……and…..and I’m not sure if even French Press would put so much time and care about it as much as you have. When you get older I’m sure you’ll be the greatest therapist ever.” He said, and by the time he was done Timidthy's entire face was red. The prince giggled as a large smile on his face grew. Bumper laughed,
“How does your ego feel?” He asked. Timidthy didn’t even second guess himself,
“I’d say it’s about halfway from being bellow average.” He said.
“Well then looks like I’m going to have to make sure your ego gets as big as Blood Bone’s.” Bumper said, by then the two had gotten to Pinkie’s. They quietly walked up stairs and made sure to close and lock their room door. Bumper sat on his bed as Timidthy gave him a patch, the former unicorn looked at it. As tears started to come to his eye’s, he was ashamed of himself for letting hid love of sushi turn into something awful. Timidthy put Bumper's hand in his and put the patch on it, he put his thumb on the patch as his friend looked at it.
“It’s going to be okay. We may not be able to get you over it completely. But we cab get you more control. I believe in you Bumper it’s time you believe in yourself.” Timidthy said, and Bumper looked at him. He took a deep breathe, and used his left hand to wipe away his tears.
“You okay or do you want a break for a minute?” Timidthy asked, Bumper thought about it for a moment.
“Yeah I’d like a break.” He said, Timidthy nodded as he opened his therapy bag and put the patches inside. He then rummaged through his until he pulled out a big round lollipop. He gave it to Bumper and he unwrapped it. Bumper took a moment to look at it as it was a golden yellow it shimmered in the light. He put the lollipop in his mouth and Bumper's brain immediately started trying to figure out the flavor.
It tasted really sweet as the former unicorn realized that it tasted like honey. Bumper smiled as his sadness and blush on his face seemed to disappear. He realized he started to feel calm Timidthy smiled knowingly,
“Feeling better?” He asked. Bumper nodded, “Okay are you ready for step two?” The former unicorn again nodded. Timidthy went through his therapy bag again and pulled out Chinami. Bumper jumped back as his breathe began to quicken, he felt his saliva beginning to build in his mouth.
“Now Bumper all you have to do is hug your Chinami.” Timidthy said calmly, Bumper gulped as he stared at his once loved plushie. He wasn’t sure if he could do it. He knew he didn’t want to do it. But him and Timidthy both knew that he needed to.

Step Two
Timidthy smiled back at Bumper as the former unicorn backed away from the plushie.
“You can do it Bumper.” He said, Bumper wanted to run. But he cautiously took few steps closer,
“Come on a bit more.” Timidthy said. Bumper moved a bit closer he kept going until he was close enough to grab it. The former alicorn prince had a pleased smile on his face. He placed the plushie just in front of Bumper, the former unicorn whimpered. This was impossible.
“Just hug it.” Timidthy said, “It won’t bite.” Bumper gulped, he simply stared at it. He stretched a hand slowly out to his Chinami. Timidthy smiled warmly he was so close. Unfortulently a knock came from the door, Bumper yelped and retracted back. Timidthy frowned,
“Hey Tiny Tim and Thumpy-Bumpy time for breakfast!” Pinkie said through the door. Both boys blushed at the nicknames, Timidthy sighed. He then put Chinami up, Bumper mentally let out a sigh of relief. The two boy’s got up and left the room. Once that was over Timidthy tried again with Bumper.
But his friend seemed to nervous and embarrassed to try. Night eventually came and the two boy’s we’re forced to go to bed. Timidthy waited for Bumper to fall asleep he then pulled out Chinami again. And placed it just in front of Bumper’s face; maybe if he saw it when waking he’d hug it. Or better yet grasp it in his sleep.
Bumper was a unicorn again as he seemed to be in some sort of circus ring. The colt smiled brightly looking over himself; glad to be a pony again. Except his joyous celebration was soon interrupted when he smelled sushi. Bumper felt his legs wobble like jello as his breath quickened. He looked around realizing that a red tarp seemed to be over him.
Bumper kept smelling the air trying to figure out where the sushi was. Until his hoof landed on his tail, he jumped realizing it was completely composed out of sushi. His pupils dilated in horror as his eye’s moved up. And just barely saw that it was made of sushi as well, suddenly he heard hoofsteps and ponies voices. He then heard a hauntingly familiar voice,
“Mares and Gentlecolts today we have a brand new a attraction: Banpā the Sushi Colt!” The tarp them raised and Bumper froze thousands of ponies we’re now staring at him. The colt didn’t think this could get any worse until they all started laughing at him. Suddenly the ringmaster stepped in front of Bumper, the colt gasped as he saw it was French Press.
“Alright settle down the show hasn’t even gotten started yet. Now before we begin I must say—” She said until she felt somepony pull her tail. She turned around to see Bumper,
“Get off of me Banpā! I don’t want your greasy hooves on me! But since you seem so eager to get started let’s stop the chit-chat.” French Press said coldly. Bumper shrunk back as French Press pulled out a bottle of mizkan sushi seasoning. She opened the cap and suddenly right behind her a fan appeared. Bumper only stared in fear and wonder as she turned the fan on. And she poured the powdered seasoning in front of the moving blades.
Bumper blocked out his eye’s the seasoning covered his body. And started to blend into his coat, he heard the ponies laughing again as tears stung his eye’s. Once he felt no more of the seasoning bit him he slowly uncovered his eye’s. Bumper almost wished he didn’t as everypony was still laughing at him. French Press walked up to him and held his head up, she then plucked a sushi from Bumper’s hair.
She then shoved the sushi into his mouth she turned back to the audience. And the crowd quieted eager to see what the what else the ring master would do.
“Now watch as we dip Banpā into a tank of soy sauce!” French Press said, Bumper backed away. He tried to run but soon found himself cornered by Gizmo, Console, Data, and Spark.
“Sorry Banpā but it’s time for your bath.” A calm yet menacing voice said, the tech nerds moved out the way. And Bumper watched in pure terror was a large tank of soy sauce was pushed towards him. The unicorn moved out as a large drop of soy sauce escaped from the tank. He saw Sweet Dreams, Citrus, and Blood Bones come from behind the tank. Bumper didn’t have time to run as Citrus grabbed him and threw him into the tank.
Bumper held his breathe as he tried to swim to the surface but it was as if something was holding him in place. He could hear the audiences’ muffled laugher as the soy sauce soaked into his sushi hair and his lime green coat. Bumper’s face began to turn blue and just when he thought he was going to drown the soy sauce drained from the tank. Once it was all gone Bumper was gasping for breath as he saw his coat was a very dark shade of brown from the sauce. He began to cry as he heard French Press speak.
“And as our last preparation before you see the grand finale we will be pouring hot boiling pickled ginger!” Bumper gasped as he looked up and saw Spice, Serenity, Crepe, Binkey, and Meadow we’re on the edges of the tank. They had tan colored tanks by them with shredded pieces of ginger swimming in the boiling liquid. Bumper finally found his voice,
“Please don’t do this! Uncle! I call uncle please!” He screamed. And everypony even his so called fillyfriend and friends laughed at him.
“Aww! You think begging will get you out of this? You’re a freak alright! You don’t deserve happiness!” French Press said, and the words hit Bumper hard, be started sobbing. And that’s when the pickled ginger came raining down on him. When it hit Bumper the colt screamed in agony, his entire body was now burning.
“And now as the final event watch as Banpā eats his own tail!” Ringleader French Press said, Bumper’s face burned red as he felt every fiber in his body telling him to obey. He couldn’t control himself as he started a bite of chucks of his sushi tail. Everypony was now laughing harder then ever. Some ponies had even fell on their sides in the sheer hilarity of Bumper’s humiliation. The colt closed his eye’s as he slowly felt himself losing control.
The ponies loved to laugh at his misery. They wanted to see him weak. Everypony, even his friends, thought of him as a freak.
Bumper woke up as he breathed heavily when he saw his plushie he jumped. It was then he realized how badly he was shaking he looked over to Timidthy who was soundly asleep. Bumper gulped there was no way he could get back to sleep. And he didn’t want to wake Timidthy he wanted the prince to get his sleep. Suddenly his eye’s landed in his plushie, Bumper felt his face burn up.
Timidthy woke up the next morning he got up and rubbed his eye’s. He was about to pull out his brush until he saw Bumper. A bright smile came on his face that would bring Pinkie's smiles to shame. He saw Bumper hugging his plushie, as the former unicorn was sleeping. Timidthy took a deep breath and calmed himself as he got an idea and quickly got himself ready to go outside once again.
When Bumper woke up he shuttered realizing he was holding his plushie. But he didn’t let go of it, if he was being honest with himself, he didn’t want to. Bumper looked around and saw Timidthy was gone. The former unicorn couldn’t help but wonder where his friend was. Fortunately for Bumper he got his answer as the door opened at that exact moment. Timidthy came into the room with a broad smile on his face.
Then the former alicorn took a deep breath once again, he then spoke. Once he was sure that he was calm,
“I’m proud of you.” Bumper smiled. As blush spread on his face,
“Thanks!” He said. Timidthy then hugged Bumper after a moment the boy’s separated and just sat by each other.
“Let me guess you had a nightmare?” Timidthy said, Bumper blushed redder.
“Yeah. You we’re asleep and I saw the plushie so I thought…..why not at least try. And….I felt better.” He said,
“Well I know something that will probably make this the best day ever.” Timidthy said.
“Really? And what would that be?” Bumper asked, the prince of therapy gained a smug grin.
“The portal is back up.” Timidthy said,
“Really!?” Bumper replied.
“Yep. I ran into Sunset and she told Twilight had written her and that we could go home at any time.” Timidthy said, his best bud put his plushie to the side and got up.
“Give me ten minutes! I wanna see my parents again!” Bumper said, the prince smiled feeling the exact same way.
The mane seven, Timidthy, and Bumper we’re now back at the school. By the portal, the prince had his therapy back in his grasp. And Bumper had his Chinami in his hands,
“Remember if you guy’s want to come back just call us up.” Sunset said.
“Oh I’m sure we’ll never come here again!” Bumper said in an inappropriately cheerful voice, Timidthy elbowed him in the ribs.
“Bumper.” He said,
“Don’t worry we completely understand. After all the crazy stuff that happened to you two. It’s understandable.” Rainbow said.
“Well I guess this is good-bye until next time.” Timidthy said,
“See ya!” Bumper said. And the mane seven watched as Timidthy and Bumper went through the portal.
When Bumper and Timidthy got back they instinctively got back on all four hooves. And used their magic to hold their items, before Timidthy could even get his surroundings a look. Sweet Dreams tackled him, and she said.
“Timidthy! Tu m'as tellement manqué! Ne me faites pas peur comme ça!” She then kissed Timidthy causing the prince to blush madly. Bumper rolled his eye’s and was about to say a witty comment. Until he was dragged into a bear hug by his fillyfriend,
“There you are! I missed you so much! So how are ya feelin? Did Timidthy help you? Did you get hurt?” French Press said.
“Frenchy I know your happy to see me but if you hug me ant tighter I think my ribs will break.” Bumper said, French Press let go just as Sweet Dreams released her grip on Timidthy. The prince got up and dusted himself off before looking at the group in front of him. All of his friends, family and personal royal guard’s was there. Blood Bones flew in between Bumper and Timidthy. He then dragged the two close with his wings,
“Alright I just have to say it’s great to have you two knuckleheads back.” He said.
“I agree I must admit it was a bit lonely in the castle without you.” Luna said,
“Speaking of castles all of Canterlot is sure to throw a party for your return.” Celestia said. Timidthy blushed redder, ‘Oh boy a formal party with Canterlot snobs and nobles who will be judging me.’ He thought.
“That sounds….interesting.” Timidthy said,
“Oh and sorry about getting you trapped on the other side of the portal.” Twilight said nervously.
“It’s cool no hard feelings.” Bumper said, French Press smiled.
“Seriously Tim how do you do it?” She asked, Timidthy smiled.
“Easy I treat my patients with kindness and understanding.” He said,
“Now come in you two the sooner we get to Canterlot the sooner we can celebrate!” Meadow said and Bumper and Timidthy followed them. Ready to see their home town again.
That night when the party was just ending Timidthy was out on the castle balcony. He was fully exhausted as he looked up at the stars. He was about to fall asleep until he heard hoofsteps coming towards him. Timidthy didn’t even need to look to see who it was as Bumper sat right next to him. He look equally exhausted,
“I’m so glad to be home.” Bumper said. Timidthy giggled,
“Same. What are ya going to tomorrow?” He said.
“Oh ya know just try to relax a day before I go on thousands of dates with French Press. And train for being a guard twenty-four seven.” Bumper said, “You?” Timidthy smiled.
“Heading to Canterlot mental hospital.” He said, Bumper rolled his eye’s.
“Of course. Well I better get going I have a feeling that I’m gonna need my sleep. Ya know just in case my plans change.” Bumper said as he made his way back into the castle.
“Alright seeya later Banpā .” Timidthy said, Bumper stopped in his tracks. As red flush came to his face,
“Clever boy.” Bumper said before he left. Timidthy laughed as he made his way to his own bed. And both colts we’re very happy. Bumper’s sushi problem was mostly under control. Timidthy had succeeded in what could be his biggest challenge yet. And they were back home. Life was back to normal for both.
