please note that this is a true story of my life and the only real difference in this story from my life is the timeline this happened a little quicker than in real life and the crossbow and poison arrow part in my real life was actually a gun and bullets. if you don't mind if you give me hooves down or up please leave a comment letting me know why so I can better my writing.

Chapter 1
Knight Sword now six years old wakes up at six thirty in the morning to get ready for school and not anger his stepdad while thinking about what happened over the last two years. His mother Breezy Cheff left his stepdad Blood Sword when Knight was only four. She left because he had hit her. She tried to take Knight with her but the judge who knew Blood Sword from the war with Queen Chrysalis gave custody of Knight to Blood Sword. Breezy was given partial custody of Knight. Breezy got custody of Knight during the summer and every other Hearth’s Warming. Breezy noticed that Knight was never happy. Sure he smiled and acted happy but she never saw a true smile on his face. The first summer he spent with his mother was fun until he had to go back to his dad. He would get down on his hooves and beg her not to let him go back. Knight told his mother how his father had beat him. Breezy called Foal Protective Services but they couldn’t do anything because Knight wouldn’t speak up.
Knight grabs an apple for breakfast then grabs his saddle bag that has his school supplies in it and heads to school. He didn’t wake his stepdad because he was afraid of him. Knight and his father live on the outskirts of Ponyville. After a half hour of walking, he arrives at the Ponyville schoolhouse. As he arrives he sees a purplish pink mare with a cutie mark of smiling blossoms welcoming students. Knight not being able to help being shy slowly shuffles forward. As he gets closer he sees in front of him a white filly with light purple and light pink mane in front of him wearing a frilly pink dress with roses on it.
When he gets closer he hears Cheerilee say “Good morning Sweetie Belle. How are you today?” He also hears Sweetie Belle cheerfully say ”I’m doing lovely Miss Cheerilee thank you.” Once their conversation was over Knight walks forward only to be stopped by Cheerilee who says in a caring voice “Well hello there young colt who are you? I haven’t seen you before.
Knight looks at Cheerilee and with great difficulty says in a sad tone of voice “My name is Knight Orin. My stepdad and I just moved here last summer. My stepdad Blood Sword signed me up for this school.”
Cheerilee recognizing the sad tone of voice asks in a worried tone “Are you, alright Knight, you seem like you are down? If you want to talk about it I’ll be here to talk if you want. After all, no student should be down on their first day at a new school. As a matter of fact, wait here for a second.”
Knight just stood there not moving a muscle in order not to get hit by the teacher or so he thought because of how his stepdad treated him. After five minutes pass, Cheerilee returns with the filly that was in front of him following her.
Once they were both in front of him Cheerilee says in an excited voice ”Knight Orin this is Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle this is Knight Orin he just moved here this summer and this is his first day at the school. I was hoping you would be his friend Sweetie Belle. I know you know how hard it can be without friends.”
Sweetie Belle nods to Cheerilee and after turning to Knight says “As Cheerilee said my name is Sweetie Belle and until two summers ago I didn’t have any friends. so I know how hard it can be to not have friends and I would be honored to be your friend.”
Knight just nods and follows Sweetie Belle into the school. Once they were out of earshot Knight turns to Sweetie and Says in a sad tone of voice “It’s okay Sweetie Belle you can leave me alone. I know somepony as nice and cute as you wouldn’t want to be my friends with a mess like me, Goodbye Sweetie Belle.” as soon as he finishes talking he gallops away to his classroom taking his seat.
Sweetie Belle continued walking dumbstruck by the new student's reaction. Sweetie noticed that on the floor was a trail of tears from the young colt. Sweetie then hurries to her seat so as not to be late for class.
As soon as the bell rings Cheerilee enters the room and says “ Now everypony we have a new student to introduce. Stand up and introduce yourself okay.”
Knight knowing she was talking to him stands up and says in a sad tone of voice “ My name is Knight Orin. I moved here from a different town known as Hot Springs this summer with my stepdad. His name is Blood Sword and that is all I have to say. I hope you understand.” Once he finished speaking he sat down in his seat pulled out a locking journal and using the key he carries around his neck unlocked it.
Cheerilee knew from the young colts actions and the way he spoke that there was something deeply troubling the young student. Cheerilee deciding to try and figure it out says to the class while keeping a close eye on the young colt “Okay everypony today we are going to do a unique assignment. I want you each to take a piece of paper from the stack im passing around and draw what you fear the most. It could be your feelings or somepony you are afraid of or even just black if you are scared of the dark. However, I want you to be honest with yourself and the drawing. You have one hour to complete the assignment.”
Knight thought what is it that scares me most? The dark. No, i’m not afraid of the dark. Being alone. That’s not it either. If I am, to be honest, I am afraid of my stepdad. But can I draw that without getting in trouble with my stepdad? However, I’m also afraid of these feelings I have of wanting to dress as a filly. As he was thinking that he pulled out his quills for sketching that his mother had got him for his birthday last August second. Knight settles on drawing his stepdad breaking a metal broom handle over his head which just happened last weekend and several dresses and skirts.
Over the next hour, Cheerilee noticed that Knight had pulled out an ink bottle and several different types of quills for drawing. As soon as the hour was up everypony handed in their assignment before heading out to recess. While all the fillies and colts went outside Cheerilee went through the assignments until she came across two that seemed unusual. The first was a drawing of Sweetie Belle by herself indicating that Sweetie’s biggest fear was losing all her friends. However, it was the second one that scared her a little bit. It was a highly detailed sketch of Knight’s father breaking a metal broom handle over the colt’s head and several dresses and skirts all very feminine. In the bottom corner was the letters k and o.
Upon seeing the drawing Cheerilee realizes that this is the type of drawing one would get if a foal was being abused. Cheerilee seeing there is still fifteen minutes left on recess goes to get Knight.
The moment Cheerilee let the class go outside for recess Knight grabs his journal and sits under a tree outside. As he is writing his thoughts of wanting to be a filly in his journal a light pink filly with light purple and white hair with a diamond tiara cutie mark yanks it out of his hands. Soon as he realizes what happened he curls up into a ball and with tears in his eye says “Please miss whoever you are, give the journal back. It’s my private diary that my mom got me so I could write down my thoughts.”
The filly looks at the colt and says in a mean tone of voice “The name is Diamond Tiara and I’m going to read this out loud for everypony so we know just what you think.” By this point, all the fillies and colts were watching in curiosity. After clearing her throat Diamond Tiara reads “ January 1st last year. the day of the summer sun celebration. Today my stepdad found out that I was telling my mom what he has been doing to me. The moment he found out he threatened to kill my mother if I said anything to anypony. To top it all off he also pulled out a crossbow and shot at me with poison arrows luckily I was able to avoid them. He also tried to run me over with a carriage because of it. If that wasn’t bad enough he hits me in the hoof cap with a pipe wrench. On a more personal worry, I realize that with all my heart that I am a filly at heart. I don’t know what I am but I want to be a filly. I hate my colt bits and I can’t even look at myself in the mirror without wanting to kill myself. Which I have tried to do by drowning myself. I have tried to drown myself twenty times but I keep being saved.” Once Diamond Tiara finished reading she threw the diary away from her and threw up over all the horrible things that have happened to the young colt.
Knight not being able to take the looks of the ponies around him runs to the bathroom. Once he was in the bathroom he hurries into a stall locks it and pulls out a sharp knife that he keeps in his bag. Crying his heart out he screams out “Goodbye you cruel world. May everypony live happily without me.” As he finished he takes the knife and slices his wrists deeply cutting the vein within.

Chapter 4
Morning Rose was walking through Ponyville with her mommy at her side. They were both looking in every direction they could to find Diamond Tiara. Rose looked up at Rarity and said “Mommy where do you think Diamond Tiara went? I’m worried she might try to hurt herself.”
Rarity looked down at Rose and said “I don’t know where she is my daughter. However, I promise you we will find her in time. As a matter of fact, follow me. I know somepony who might be able to help us.”
Rose looking excited said “ Really mommy. Who is it? Is it somepony I know mommy?”
Rarity seeing the excitement in her daughter’s eyes said “Well I am not sure if you have met her yet or not. However, I do know she would like to meet you and there is a chance Diamond might actually be there to get advice. The pony’s name is Princess Twilight Sparkle and her daughter Lucky Rose. Before I forget deary you should know that Lucky Rose is the daughter of Princess Twilight and Prince Artemis.”
Rose looked at Rarity in worry and said “Do you think they will accept me for who I am, mommy? I only ask because I don’t want to cause any problems for anypony. You know what mommy when we get there I will wait outside until you know for a fact that they will accept me. Also if Diamond is there, you can tell her that I want to talk to her.”
Rarity gasped in shock at her daughter’s quick assessment of the situation and for coming to the best solution possible. Rarity looked at her daughter as they start to approach the castle and said “ Okay my darling daughter. We can do it your way, however, you should know that I know for a fact that they will accept you. Stay right here and I will be back okay?”
After receiving a nod from her daughter Rarity enters the castle. Once Rarity enters the castle a purple and green dragon runs up to her and asked “Rarity how are you today? Is there anything I can do for you?”
Rarity nodded and said “ Yes Spike there is. Do you know id Diamond Tiara is here and could you please tell Twilight and Lucky Rose that I have somepony to introduce to them.”
Spike smiling said “As a matter of fact Diamond Tiara is here. She showed up upset and Twilight and Lucky are calming her down. I’ll go and tell them you are here. I’m sure Twilight and Lucky will be happy to see you.”
Five minutes later Spike returns with Twilight, Lucky who was a filly that looked like the mirror of the night sky and was an alicorn and Diamond Tiara who had tears in her eyes. Rarity seeing this looked at Diamond and said “Diamond Morning Rose wants to apologize to you for being scared of you. You see Silver Spoon told us what the mirror means to you and that it was your most precious possession. She wants to come in and apologize however she is afraid that Twilight, Lucky and spike won’t accept her.”
Rarity then turns to Twilight, Lucky and Spike and said “ You see I have adopted a young colt who wants to be a filly. He was abused by his stepdad in every way possible. He also tried to kill himself at school recently and ended up in the hospital. When I saw how not being able to be herself hurt her I decided to adopt her and raise her as my daughter. She wants to meet you but is afraid you won’t accept her. Because of that, she has decided to wait outside until I know for a fact that you will accept her. So what do you say will you accept her for who she is?”
Everypony nodded except for Diamond Tiara who hid behind Twilight. Rarity seeing how scared Diamond was, knew that Diamond needed to talk to Morning Rose and soon so she left the castle to tell her daughter the good news.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. As the newest couple were walking to Sugarcube Corner they talked about all their likes and dislikes. They were so excited that they didn't realize it when they arrived at the restaurant. Morning held open the door for her marefriend Lucky and then followed her to the back room for a private dinner.
As they approached the back room Pinkie Pie bounced over and said “Good evening Morning Rose and Lucky Rose if you will please have a seat your favorite dinner will be brought to you in five minutes.”
Morning and Lucky took their seats and continued to talk about each other. As they talked they realized that they had the exact same likes and dislikes. They were surprised to find out that they were born exactly a year apart to the day. Five minutes later Pinkie Pie bounced in with two plates of five cheese lasagna and a Caesar salad with ranch dressing. She also placed two cups of soda on the table and left. As Morning and Lucky ate they fell deeply in love with each other.
Once they finished eating dinner Morning paid for the meals and hoof in hoof they exited the restaurant and took a walk. As they were walking around Morning said “Lucky Rose I have something important to ask you in three weeks time. I hope you will say yes to the question because you are the greatest, kindest, most beautiful and noble mare I have ever met in my life. I love you with all my heart and soul and to me, you are a goddess and a dream come true. As Artemis is my witness I vow to love you forever.”
Lucky blushing deeply looks up at the stars and said “Morning Rose if the question is what I think it is my answer will most likely be a yes. For to me Morning, you are my true other half. You say that I am the greatest, kindest, most beautiful and noble mare ever. However, I think that description fits you more than it does me. To me, you are my lovely Rose and I love you with all my heart and soul my beautiful mare. Should you ever need me I'll be there. Even if I have to die if I can save you it's worth it.”
Morning Rose having to look away from the compliment blushed and said “Thank you so much for the perfect first date, Lucky Rose. Well, I should head home now that you are home. By the way, could you tell your mother I need to talk to her tomorrow after school? It is very important to me.”
Lucky Rose smiled and said “Of course my love. I will tell her tonight. I love you with all my heart and soul. Sleep well my beautiful mare and may Artemis watch over your dreams.” before leaving Lucky gave Morning a kiss goodnight.
Morning so happy from the date heads home with a smile on her face. As soon as she entered her home she ran up to her mother and said “mommy I have a favor to ask you. Could you please make me a wedding dress and can I borrow some bits for a ring? You see Lucky Rose and I are perfect for each other and fell in love with each other on our date.”
Rarity smiled wide and said with a look of excitement on her face "of course my dearest daughter. I will take your measurements after school tomorrow. As for the bits for a ring, I'll go with you this weekend to Canterlot to find the absolutely perfect ring for your love. Do you know her horn size dear?"
Morning Rose blushed a deep red and said "not yet, mother. I am going to ask Twilight for her horn measurements tomorrow after school. I hope she will accept it. I know we are moving way to fast but neither of us can stand to live without the other. to me she is Artemis and I am the moon. She is the light in my darkness. I know that someday we may part but until then I want to be with her. By some miracle, she wants to be with me as well."
Rarity looked at her daughter and said "Morning Rose, as I told you earlier today you and Lucky are the perfect pair. No matter what may come your way I know you two will be loyal, kind, generous, happy and honest with each other. Before I felt your love for Lucky the strongest love I felt was from Cadance and Shining Armor. However, your love was a hundred times stronger."
Morning surprised at what her mother just said asked "Really mom? you think our love for each other is stronger than the Princess of Love's love. I only ask because their love is the strongest I have ever seen."
Rarity smiled at her daughter and said "yes my dearest daughter. I truly think your love is stronger than theirs. Anyway, you need to get to bed. You have a busy day ahead of you tomorrow and you don't want to be tired."
Rose smiled and said "You are right mom. night and I love you so much. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I'll never forget it." With everything said Rose went off to bed and dreamt of her wedding day.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Morning Rose spent the next five days in the hospital on suicide watch. Finally on the morning of the sixth-day Rarity signed the paperwork and together with her and her daughter went home. As they approach the house Rarity looks at Rose and says “Sweetie could you do me a favor and close your eyes. I have a surprise for you inside and I don't want it to be ruined.”
Rose nods and says in a happy feminine voice ”Okay mommy. For you or auntie Sweetie Belle I will close my eyes. Just do me a favor and don’t let me fall. I just don’t want to trip and get hurt.”
Rarity smiling sweetly at her daughter says in a soothing and kind voice “My sweet Rose I could never let you fall and hurt yourself after all you have been hurt enough. Just hold onto my hoof and you will be okay my daughter.”
As Rose took a hold of her mom’s hoof she closed her eyes and followed her mom inside. As the door closes she hears her mommy say “Okay Sweetie you can open your eyes now.” As soon as Rose opens her eyes she sees five fillies, a young purple and green dragon and five mares standing in front of her. Rose upon seeing that one of the fillies was Diamond Tiara tries to flee the house.
Sweetie Belle, seeing how terrified her niece is goes over and after laying flat on the floor in front of Rose says in a soothing voice “Hey Rose, I know you are scared of Diamond Tiara. However, she is here to apologize and to give you a gift. You see this is a party to welcome you into the family. We invited my friends and my sister's friends to the party. This way you can make some new friends.”
Rose with terror-filled eyes says “ You won’t let Diamond Tiara be mean to me will you? I don’t mean to be so scared but after what she did I panic when I see her because of her reading my diary. Can you please stay by my side in case she tries something.”
Sweetie Belle stands up and after giving the little filly a nuzzle on the cheek says “Of course I will stay by your side Rose. But can you do me a favor and try to forgive her and have fun.” After receiving a nod from Rose Sweetie leads Rose over to the fillies.
Once they were in front of the fillies Sweetie Belle says “Rose these are my friends Scootaloo and Applebloom. I know you recognize Diamond Tiara and the filly next to her is her best friend Silver Spoon.” As Sweetie introduced each pony Rose nods hello while trying to hide behind Sweetie. Sweetie notices that Rose starts to have a hard time breathing when she is introduced to Diamond Tiara.
Diamond Tiara seeing how scared the filly is because of her says “ Rose, I am sorry for how I acted towards you on your first day of school. I can see now that how I acted has deeply traumatized you so I am just going to give my present to you to your mom on my way out. I don’t want to ruin your party goodbye, Rose. By the way Silver Spoon you can stay for the party and have fun.” As Diamond Tiara finishes talking she leaves giving a box and a card to Rarity.
Soon as Diamond Tiara left Rose relaxed. However, as she looks at the fillies that stayed she starts to feel guilty for causing Diamond to leave. Rose couldn’t help but feel scared around the filly. Rose looks at the others and says “ I’m sorry for causing Diamond to leave. I am just terrified when I am around her. Anyways let's have fun this is a party, after all, isn’t it.”
The other fillies just nod and go to another room to have a tea party and just have fun. Meanwhile, the mares looked at each other with worry on their faces. Especially Rarity who asked Diamond why she was leaving as the filly left the party. As soon as the mares were alone in the room Rarity says “I don’t know what to do darlings. Rose tells me she has forgiven Diamond Tiara for what she did to her. But the fear in her eyes is so strong I don't know how to help her. Diamond Tiara told me on her way out that she is sorry for what she did and that upon seeing the fear in Rose’s eyes she knew she couldn’t stay for the party.”
A yellow mare with a pink mane says in a quiet voice “I think Rose should open the card and gift from Diamond Tiara. I think it will help the filly start to forgive Diamond for what she did. I helped her pick out the gift because she didn’t know what would make a good apology gift.”
An orange mare with a country accent says “yeah ah agree with Fluttershy over here. The filly should open da present. It is sure to help her heal her fear o Diamond.”
A purple alicorn known as the Princess of Friendship or Twilight says “Applejack and Fluttershy are right. According to my experience when you are scared of somepony the best solution is either to talk to them and find out more about the pony or face your fear head-on. Her opening the present and card will allow her to find out just how Diamond Tiara feels about her. What do you think Rainbow Dash?”
A mare with a rainbow mane and tail says “ Rarity, you are an awesome pony for taking in the filly and allowing the filly to be herself. Just follow your heart and you will be the awesome and caring mother the filly needs. As for what I think she should do is open the present and card then have her face, Diamond Tiara. But hey that’s just what I would do.”
A pink mare is just bouncing in place as if she has had too much coffee. She looks over at Rarity and says “Rarity your going to be a wonderful mommy to the young filly.I have a feeling she is going to be very important to us all. Like she will be part of the family.”
Rarity nodding says “Your right all of you. I am worrying about nothing. I’ll give her the present and card and have her open them. If once she reads it she understands how truly sorry Diamond is I will take her to find Diamond.”
Rarity takes the present and card into the room where the fillies are at playing tea party and says “Rose I have a present and card for you from Diamond Tiara. I think you should open and read the card first and then open the present. I say this because Diamond Tiara was on the verge of tears when she left.”
Rose looking worried asks “ She was on the verge of tears. Why mommy? I didn’t do anything wrong did I? If I did I didn’t mean to upset her.”
Rarity places the present and card in front of Rose and says “ You didn’t do anything wrong, my daughter. However, I do feel like you should open the card and present to see just how Diamond Tiara feels about how she treated you.”
Rose nods to her mommy and taking the card in his magic opens it to see that Diamond Tiara was crying when she wrote it. After taking a breath Rose reads out loud “Rose I just wanted to tell you that I am so sorry that I treated you as I did on your first day of school. I was scared that you were going to try to take over the school and treated you badly to try and get you to run away. When I read your diary out loud I only meant to embarrass you. However, after I finished reading everything that happened to you I ended up throwing up because of how bad you were treated. I know you will probably never forgive me but I am truly sorry for what happened and have decided to change my ways and help others. Sincerely Diamond Tiara.”
Rose having finish the card has tears in her eyes as she moves onto the present. Rose once again used her magic to open the box. It took a couple seconds to get it open but when she did she heard Silver Spoon say “Oh my Celestia. Diamond Tiara really does feel bad.” Rose wondering what Silver means pulls out a silver mirror with diamonds around the edge in all the colors of the rainbow. Rose curious as to why Diamond gave her a mirror asks in a confused tone of voice “Silver Spoon what do you mean she really does feel bad? Is this mirror special?”
Silver Spoon takes a deep breath and says in a worried tone of voice “ Yes Rose, that mirror is special. Diamond Tiara’s biological mother Pure Diamond had that mirror specially made for Diamond for her third birthday. Diamond’s mother died last year from cancer.That mirror is Diamond Tiara’s most precious possession. The person who is married to her father is her stepmom. If Diamond is giving you her mirror it means her heart is breaking.”
Rose looking scared says “ Mommy can you take me to Diamond Tiara. I need to talk to her. For I know how it feels to have your heart breaking. She will need as many friends as she can get. After reading her card and hearing the story of the mirror I’m not scared of her and I forgive her.”
Rarity nods to her daughter and says “ Okay sweetie. If you follow me we will go find her. Girls the party's over. Feel free to grab some cake on the way out. Rose will see you tomorrow.” With everything done Rarity and her daughter leave in search of Diamond Tiara.

first off I want to apologize for the chapter being so short. I was planning on making it longer but found that this is a good cliffhanger for the next chapter. anyways thank you all so much for reading the story thus far.
Chapter 6 Part 1
Rarity was outside nervously pacing in front of the castle when her daughter came out with Lucky Rose in her hoof. Upon seeing her daughter Rarity stops her pacing and runs over to her daughter and said in a panicked voice “ Morning are you alright? I was so worried about you. What did you talk to Lucky Rose about darling?”
Morning gave her mom a hug and said “ mom I am doing better than ever. As a matter of fact, could you make me a special dress for tonight? As for what Lucky and I talked about we have an announcement. Diamond Tiara already knows this but when Lucky and I saw each other we fell in love with each other. After I apologized to Diamond Tiara I decided to ask Lucky out and to my surprise, she felt the same and said yes. However, if you don't want us to be with each other I understand and will cut off all ties with your family.”
Rarity and Twilight looked at each other before nodding and said “Morning and Lucky, to be honest, we think you make a cute couple and we approve. However we insist that your first date be tonight. Twilight will make the plans and I will make your dress for your first ever date my daughter. How does that sound to the two of you?”
Morning and Lucky looked at each other and Lucky seeing the tears of happiness in her marefriends eyes said “that sounds absolutely perfect. I know I am glad you accepted us as a couple. Because if you wouldn’t have accepted it you both would’ve lost your daughters. I also know that my marefriend feels the same way I do.”
With everything said and done everypony went home to prepare for the date. However, before Morning left she leaned in and gave Lucky a kiss that was so deep and passionate that even their parents blushed brighter than the sun. At six pm Morning walked into her mom’s work area and said “mom is the dress ready for tonight? Is my jewelry alright as well? Oh no, I feel a panic attack about to happen.”
Rarity hearing that her daughter was upset goes over to her daughter and said while rubbing soothing circles on her back “Rose, my dearest daughter I understand that you are nervous about your first date. However, you can rest assured that I have never seen a greater love than the love between you and Lucky. That kiss you had with her before we left had so much love in it that I blushed. As for your necklace and jewelry they are absolutely gorgeous and perfect.”
Rose having calmed down put the dress on grabbed sixty bits and left to pick up her marefriend for their date. Morning was just about to knock on the door when it is opened. There standing in front of her was Lucky in a dark blue dress that looked like the night sky and on her neck was a necklace with a diamond and the clasp had a padlock on it. Morning seeing this asked, “Lucky why is your necklace padlocked?”
Lucky blushed a deep crimson red and said “It’s a family tradition that when we find our true love to put on a diamond necklace and padlock it until we are married. The key is then given to our true love so that once we are married it can be removed. The diamond symbolizes our vow to always be there and to be pure for the one we love. Here’s the key. Keep it safe my love for you are my true love and I don’t want to lose you.”
Morning took the key and teleported to a lockbox in her room. With the key safe and sound Morning took lucky’s hoof and together with the plan in her mind left for their date. Morning thought hard on the way to Sugarcube Corner and decided if tonight went absolutely perfect she would propose in three months time.
