King Piano Muse stares at her for a while. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Queen Treble Measure asks, "If it's about this baby bump, then you can be the one to explain." "I'm not gonna ask about it," King Piano Muse replies. "Are you seriously still going on about how overwhelmed performing is for you? Gosh, I thought you were stronger than that, but apparently not," Queen Treble Measure says. "My dear, what is it you're going on about? This sudden mood, where the hay did it come from?" he says. "I felt concerned all night last night about you and couldn't sleep. I couldn't bear the pain that you were experiencing anymore, so I thought that I should crawl back into bed and see what else I could do," she replies, "I was only trying to cope and loving you was the only way I could get rid of the pain." "I didn't even know!" King Piano Muse cries. "Well, life is full of surprises. Get used to it," Queen Treble replies, "Can't you just be happy for me? For us? Or is that just too damn hard to wrap your tiny little brain around?" This remark angers him. King Piano Muse doesn't know what to do or say. All he could think about now is about how he could no longer have the confidence to play piano and how his wife is yelling at him for no apparent reason. Just at that moment, King Piano Muse hangs his head. "I'm sorry," he whispers, "I'll leave you alone." "Please do!" shouts Queen Treble. But in the further she went into her mind, she thinks about what she has done. Queen Treble Measure shakes her head. I'm the irresponsible one, she thinks. She sighs, coming to the conclusion that she too needed time to destress. Too much stress is bad for both her and the foals. So, Queen Treble Measure takes ten minutes to lay in her bed, inhaling and exhaling until she deems necessary to talk it out in a civilised manner with King Piano. * * * Ten minutes later... "Honey, I should be the one apologising," Queen Treble says, "I didn't take your feelings into consideration. If I can't even understand your point of view and result to arguing and anger, how am I supposed to help the ponies to Equestria with their biggest problems?" At that moment, an expression that Queen Treble Measure hadn't seen in years came upon his face. King Piano Muse is smiling. "It's OK," King Piano Muse says with a reassuring smile, "When are we due again? We'll do this shit together from now on." "That's the pony I know," Queen Treble Measure says. She beams, leaning into kiss King Piano Muse when her baby bump bumps into him. The two share a laugh and Queen Treble Measure asks, "When are you going to go back to playing piano? I miss those days. Perhaps you could write some new lullabies for when the foals are born." "No, I can't. I'm sorry," King Piano Muse says, turning away, "I got over that long ago. I don't even know if I still have the gift!" Queen Treble Measure put a reassuring hoof on King Piano Muse. "We can do this shit together," she says, repeating what he said a minute ago,"Just you and me. We're a bucking team!" "Team?" says King Piano, "That sounds good to me, but done is done. I'm tired of all of this constant attention that it got to my head and I just can't go back to the way things were!" "Well, I tried, but I can't force you," Queen Treble Measure says. King Piano Muse gasps. "Wait! Haven't you heard what ponies have been saying?" King Piano Muse suddenly bursts out. "That we're shit rulers and we need to get our shit together? Yeah, I see that," Queen Treble Measure says, "We're not the best, but who cares, right? You've gotta have imperfections otherwise you aren't living a good life." "But aren't we slightly too imperfect?" King Piano Muse says. "I wouldn't say that, dear. We're just different. I mean, ponies aren't used to ponies like us who just feel when we want and do what we want," Queen Treble Measure says, "But to them it's the definition of evil." She turns to King Piano Muse. "You were saying, dear?" she says, cracking open a bottle of champagne and taking a drink. "Oh, uh, the ponies have been saying stuff like 'when there's a will, there's a way' . We can be determined to do anything though I'd rather not be the centre of the attention. I'd rather play for the enjoyment rather than for those ponies. It feels less uncomfortable," King Piano Muse says. "Then why didn't you just say so?" asks Queen Treble. Chapter 3View OnlineThe Princess of SongChapter 3Ten months pass and an ambulance shows up at Canterlot Castle. King Piano Muse looks at Queen Treble Measure. "Why are you looking at me like that?" she asks, "Weren't you the one who called the bucking hospital?" King Piano Muse realises that she is right. "Yes, dear. And we've gotta go quick! The twins won't come out on their own!" Queen Treble Measure can't stop stressing. "Who will we put in charge of Equestria? It can't be my sisters---- they're retired!" "There's nothing to worry about, honey. Plus, stress is bad for the foals, " says King Piano Muse, "There are three young princesses in which we can choose from who are trustworthy." "And whoever are you supposing, dear?" asks Queen Treble Measure. "Oh, you know Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess Sunset Shimmer, and Princess Starlight Glimmer. Surely you know them," he replies. "My sister Celestia praises that pony way too much. Is she really all that great?" Queen Treble asks, "Someday we must do something about Twilight Sparkle." "You mean 'Princess',"King Piano Muse corrects her," She's The Princess of Friendship, you know. " "Oh, I know too damn well and I don't give a shit," Queen Treble Measure says, "And hurry up and get me in the goddamn ambulance so we can get to the hospital! If Twilight comes, so be it! Apparently she's bucking better than everypony else - - - that bitch!" She looks at King Piano Muse and then at the medical ponies. "So, what the hay are waiting for? I'm the Queen, dammit! You get me to the hospital pronto otherwise I will have my foals right here and right now. Nopony wants that. Also, you don't want executed, do you?" The medical ponies lift her up and onto the bed. Then, they set her inside the ambulance with King Piano Muse using his alicorn wings to fly beside the ambulance so that she could see him. "It'll be OK," he whispers, "You can trust Twilight and her friends to rule Equestria well. Rest easy, dear." King Piano Muse, without his piano, hums a calming classical piece that he doesn't know accidentally casts a spell on Queen Treble Measure, his wife. He witnesses Queen Treble Measure fall into a deep deep sleep and he isn't sure that she'd wake up. She would not be able to see the beautiful foals being born. Not knowing what to do, King Piano Muse panics. Eventually, he loses wing control and struggles to keep his strength up so he could stay in the air. He tries and he tries, but falls straight to the ground with huge bleeding scrapes. He realises that he must consult a fairytale book. That or think of a counter spell---- and fast! King Piano Muse got back up on his hooves, massaging his wings. A counter spell and a healing spell, he thinks urgently, trying everything that he can with his magic. But even his magic is weakened, making him fall once again. "Oh my gosh! Are you OK, Your Majesty?" asks a pony passing by. "The queen, my wife, is gonna have foals. I'm gonna be a father, we'll be a family," he says, "But I accidentally cast a Sleeping Beauty spell on her when trying to calm her down. I had no idea it was gonna happen.... I was just trying to help, you see." The pony nods, encouraging him to go on. "Then I experienced weakness--- unexplainable weakness that I've never before. Have you ever had anything like that happen to you, my subject?" King Piano Muse says. "No, but if it's your magic and wings, I know who can help you, Your Majesty. Oh, and she can also reverse the spell. Come with me, Your Majesty! I'll bring you to her now." "Should I trust you, dear subject of mine?" King Piano asks. "I don't know. Should you?" the pony says. But with careful consideration, King Piano Muse decides to follow the pony. He leads him to Canterlot Castle. King Piano Muse looks up at it in awe. "Home? Why'd you bring me here?" The pony didn't answer,so King Piano Muse climbs the castle stairs until he reaches the Throneroom. "Twilight, could you please help me with something?" Twilight Sparkle looks at King Piano Muse with a look of concern. "Oh dear, what happened, My King?" she cries followed by a gasp. "Please help me. It's desperate. The queen, my wife! She was stressing out, so I tried calming her down by humming a popular classical song which is incredibly easy to play, but something terrible happened!" King Piano Muse cries, "I didn't realise that it was a spell that I accidentally cast on her and now she's Sleeping Beauty! I've lost all sense of magic, earth pony power, and flight! I was told to come to you right away." "Oh shit! That's horrible!" Twilight cries, "I'll do what I can. You hang tight. Thank goodness you came to me just in time." Twilight thinks and she thinks and she thinks, pacing around Canterlot Castle. Half an hour passes and her mind lights up. "I've got it!" "Oh great! Goody goody!" King Piano Muse says. Twilight shoots a glare at him, making King Piano Muse smile nervously. "Work your magic, Twilight," he says. "Gladly, Your Majesty," she says, "This'll take a while. Are you OK with that?" "Anything. I'll do anything, give up anything. Anything," King Piano replies. "I think that's a yes then," Twilight says. So, Twilight gets to work on curing both His Majesty and Her Majesty.
Chapter 4View OnlineThe Princess of SongChapter 4"Alright, I've got it! Stay still, this spell will only hurt a bit," says Twilight. "Why am I listening to you? I'm the king!" King Piano Muse bellows. But then he remembers that Twilight is just doing what she was taught---- displaying friendship and kindness. So he shuts up and lets her help him. Four hours later... The ambulance is across the street from Ponyville Hospital. Thanks to Twilight, now King Piano Muse and Queen Treble Measure are happily reunited and the spell broken. "What happened?" Queen Treble Measure asks. King Piano Muse tenses up nervously. Bearing a grin, he shook his head. "Oh, I know that look! Hiding something, aren't you? Well, fine," she replies, "Maybe it's better if I don't know." "You're absolutely right, dear," King Piano Muse says, "When you get to your hospital room, remember to act as calm as possible. Don't act too unusual or shit like that." "Do you want think I don't understand that? I'm fully aware, thank you," Queen Treble says as the medical professionals take her out of the ambulance and wheel her into a hospital room specifically for delivering foals. In about a minute, Queen Treble Measure is brought into the room. "We're gonna have to put you to sleep so you don't feel much, Your Majesty," says one of the doctors. "Fine, but remember that this is the only time I'm gonna listen to a cesspool such as yourself," she demands, "I'm the goddamn queen, so after this birth shit, you begin taking orders from me. I have no interest taking orders from somepony lower than me." "If you don't want me to put you to sleep, your wish is my command, My Queen," the doctor says. "Actually, on second thought.... Proceed, you shitheaded peasant!" The doctor proceeds and in no time, two beautiful foals are born. Queen Treble Measure smiles at the twins and at King Piano Muse. She shoots an icy glare at the doctors, reminding them that they were considered common ponyfolk in the wicked eyes of Equestria's dictatorous Queen. "What shall we name them, dear?" Queen Treble Measure asks. "Since Twilight helped us, we could name them after her or one of her friends," King Piano Muse suggests. This angers Queen Treble Measure. When they get home, she sits them in the new crib that was given to them by Twilight Sparkle a few days ago. "Ah, what beautiful names for a family named soley on music." She sighed, and then the thought occurs to her. She looks at the crib and notices something outrageous. "What is the meaning of this?" Queen Treble Measure bellowed. "My dear, it's the least that she could do. Please accept it. We have nothing else!" cries King Piano Muse. "Are you bucking delusional? I can't accept this!" she cries, "Blast that Twilight Sparkle! This is the last time that dainty little princess meddles with MY FOALS!"
Chapter 5View OnlineThe Princess of SongChapter 5Queen Treble Measure, in a rage quit, takes infants Sharp Tune and Flat Major, setting them on hers and King Piano Muse's bed. Then, she picks up the crib with her magic and crashes it down to the ground with a powerful blast. "I ORDER A NEW CRIB! GET IT DONE NOW!" Queen Treble Measure shouts, demanding one of her Royal Servants, Emerald Bow. Emerald Bow bows her head. "I'll have it done in a jiffy, Your Majesty," she replies. "You bucking better!" Queen Treble Measure shouts. Sharp Tune and Flat Major start crying, scared. "Shh, shh. Daddy's here," King Piano Muse says, trying to calm them down, "Mommy's just a little angry, that's all. It'll all pass. Well, hopefully." "Weaklings! How dare my children be afraid of their queen?" Queen Treble Measure says, "Ugh, they're Foals. What do you they know? Come here, you goddamn pussies." "You can't swear in front of them or treat them like you treat your subjects. I know it's hard and your childhood was rough, but that doesn't mean that we still have the chance to treat them right," King Piano Muse says. "It's hopeless. I never knew that one day I'd marry a lunatic and become a mother. But life's full of surprises, isn't it?" Queen Treble Measure says, "Oh, I'll definitely be there for them, but now I have something - er somepony I must attend to. Be good for Daddy, my little abominations. Mommy'll be back before you know it." As she trots out of the castle and out on her way to Ponyville, a twisted and menacing smile crosses her malicious face. "Here I come, Twilight Sparkle! Chapter 6View OnlineThe Princess of SongChapter 6Ponies quickly shut their windows and doors, locking them securely as Queen Treble Measure trots along. They are all scared of her, but she never understood why. Focus, she tells herself, I must find Twilight. Rainbow Dash zips past her. "Hey, Your Majesty. What brings you to Ponyville?" she asks. Why should I answer her dumb questions?, Queen Treble Measure thinks. She trots right past Rainbow Dash, trying to ignore her. But it is no use. She faces Rainbow Dash with a murderous look on her face. "Oh, you know why I'm here. You're one of her friends, so can you guess?" "Let's bucking see," Rainbow Dash says, "Here to seek vengeance on Twilight?" Queen Treble Measure fakes shock. "Me, seek vengeance on your precious princess? Why would I ever do something like that, dearie? We just need to have a serious talk, that's all." "Sounds pretty goddamn fishy to me," Rainbow Dash replies, "But OK then." "Just please be on your way!" Queen Treble Measure says, getting annoyed with Rainbow Dash. "Don't you want me to help you find Twilight? I know where she is!" Rainbow exclaims. Queen Treble Measure fakes a smile. "Perfect. Show me to where the goddamn egghead is! And finally I'd be rid of the you afterwards. I won't be needing you very long." So Rainbow Dash leads Queen Treble Measure to The School of Friendship, where Twilight and Spike live in their cosy office. Queen Treble Measure, not forgetting her manners despite being a villain who simply just sees reality, thanks Rainbow Dash. Then, she politely disposes of her. Rainbow Dash falls to the ground as Queen Treble Measure opens the door. "Where the buck is Twilight Sparkle? I have beef to settle with this goddamned bitch!" shouts Queen Treble Measure. Twilight Sparkle peeks her head out of her office. "The Queen.... Dammit," Twilight curses under her breath. "What in Equestria does she want?" Spike asks. "I don't know. She's pretty mad about something," Twilight replies, "Well, I guess I've gotta deal with it, Spike. Watch the Headmare's Office while I'm out." "Yes ma'am!" he exclaims, saluting. * * * "Hi, Queen Treble Measure. What brings you to the School of Friendship?" Twilight asks uneasily. "I've come to have a serious talk with you. And drop the title, Princess. I'm not worthy of your praise," Queen Treble Measure says, "No offence, dear." "None taken," Twilight grumbles under her breath. She then faces Her Majesty. "I suppose it's not about the crib. It's the least I could do to return the money favour if you don't mind.... Did you hate it? Please tell me what you did hate it!" "Oh, more than hate, dear," Queen Treble Measure replies, looking at her hooves and then back at Twilight, "IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT!" I have no idea what you're so mad about, Luna," Princess Celestia says. She uses her magic to zoom in closer. To her surprise, Princess Celestia sees Twilight Sparkle, lifeless on the ground with her six friends surrounding her in a circle of concern. In front of Twilight's dead body, Celestia spots a very familiar pony - her and Luna's forgotten sister, Queen Treble Measure. Celestia zooms everything back to normal in a panic. "See? I was right," Princess Luna says. Princess Celestia breathes heavily as her heart pounds as the fear gets worse and worse. She backs away from the window, going as far back as to run into the walls. "Sister, are you alright? I've never seen you like this since the time I was banished to the moon!" Princess Luna cries, "Take time to unwind, inhale and exhale! Please, dear sister, don't do this to me! You're tipsy with anxiety!" So, Celestia takes Luna's advice. She sits on the royal purple couch and calms herself within minutes. "So, here's the plan." She whispers it in Princess Luna's ear, in which to her response, nods. "Let's go," they say.
Chapter 7View OnlineThe Princess of SongChapter 7Queen Treble Measure flees the scene, leaving everypony to mourn over Twilight. She could tell that she is the victim and somepony is out there looking for her. Scared and proud of herself at the same time, she quickly flies back to Canterlot Castle, where she is met by Princess Celestia's old Royal Guards. "Thou shalt not pass!" they say. "But I'm the queen! It's my castle, Geez! How goddamn braindead are you bucks?" Queen Treble Measure says, "Let me pass, you shitheaded peasants!" "Fine. If you insist. But retired Queen Celestia won't be happy," they say, moving out of the way and lowering the drawbridge. "Who cares about my lowly sister? What did I do wrong?" Queen Treble Measure says, "Isn't Twilight the culprit here? Why can't anypony see that?" "What you did is a crime, My Queen," says one of the guards, "Twilight is a big part of Equestria. Her and her friends have saved it countless times." Queen Treble Measure snarls, looking angry as hay with her face in his. "WHAT DID YOU SAY? GUILLOTINE, ALL OF YOU! YOU ARE THE ONES TALKING BACK TO YOUR QUEEN! YOU DARE TO MOTHERBUCKING DEFY ME, YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE! OFF WITH YOUR EMPTY HEADS WHICH IT SEEMS YOU CAN'T GET OF YOUR LITTLE MOTHERBUCKING ASS!" "Is everything alright, dear?" King Piano asks, "Why are you executing ponies on the spot?" "Don't question my intentions! This time, I ain't gonna sugarcoat shit. They're as good as dead to me---- just like that dainty little princess and her five lardoffs!" "That might not happen, sadly," King Piano Muse says, "They say they're here 'to put a stop to you'." Queen Treble Measure faces Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. "Nice to make your acquaintance, dear sisters. Ah, it's been a while. Oh, I know! Since we're all together again, I was thinking we could have a family reunion! What do you say?" They glare at her. "Oh gosh. First you replace me and forget about me, and now you're finally back to say 'sorry'? Well, I'm afraid apologies don't come with violence. Surely you'd you know that," Queen Treble says, "For your big fat motherbucking information." "Why did you kill Twilight?" Princess Celestia asks. "Me? I did what I thought needed to be done. "How much longer to the Tree of Harmony?" Flat Major says. She looks at the map. "The map says just a few miles. We'll be there in no time. How about we do something to pass the time?" Sharp Tune says. "But you said all hope was lost! What can we do to pass the time if everything we can think about is...." Flat Major says. "Shh... It's beautiful," Sharp Tune says, putting her hoof to her brother's muzzle as soon as they arrive. They both admire the Tree of Harmony for a while until they remember just exactly what they were doing there. The siblings have a journey and couldn't be distracted. "I can't believe it! We made it!" Sharp Tune cries, "This is amazing!" Gasping, she canters over to the side of the tree. "Holy shit!" Flat Major runs to be beside her. "What did you find, sis?" "It's some kind of scroll. Maybe this'll tell us how to help Twilight and the other princesses!" Sharp Tune exclaims. But as soon as she picks it up with her magic and about to read it, Queen Treble Measure stands in front of the Tree of Harmony, blocking them from getting to it. "Mom?" Sharp and Flat cry, "What are you doing here?" "First you defy me and then you run away! Sneaking out and going on a journey to undo what I've done! Well, I won't let you through!" She uses her magic to pick up her mother and swing her around violently. She then set her down and throws her down a hole in the cave grounds. A few seconds after the Honesty and Loyalty shards are no longer inactive, silhouettes of Rainbow Dash and Applejack appear. At the time of their appearance, Sharp Tune and Flat Major could spot the silhouette of Twilight slowly reforming into a resurrected pony. Following her came Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity. "Ooh! We're so close!" Sharp Tune exclaims, "Isn't this just grand, Flat Major?" "I knew we could do it, sis!" He starts to ponder. "What's going on, Flat?" Sharp Tune asks, "Aren't you happy?" "Yeah. Just thinking," Flat Major replies. "Ponder later, buckwad," Sharp Tune says, "Unless it's that damned important that it can't wait. Tell me what you're thinking of." Flat Major sighs. "You've got me, sis. I was wondering who would be Queen of Equestria without Mom." "Equestria doesn't need us yet, jackass. Come on, don't be a dumbass. There's still Dad," says Sharp Tune, "Besides, if he's still around, ponies don't need another leader. They've got their king." Flat Major smiles and lets out a hearty laugh. "You're starting to remind me of Mom, sis. But you aren't her and you never will be." "Damn straight," Sharp Tune says. They both share laughter until they realise all of the Mane Six standing before them. "I don't know how I can ever repay you two!" Twilight cries. "It's fine, Princess. You don't need to do anything. We're indebted to you," Sharp Tune says with a warm grin. "Whoa! Are you the Royal Twins?" Pinkie chirps, "Being raised by the Queen of Equestria must've been difficult!" "Yes. And who might you be?" Flat Major replies. "We shouldn't be talking to you...," Twilight says, backing away, "We don't know who you are and what you'll do." "We just saved your asses and this is how you treat us?" Sharp Tune says, hurt by the comment, "Maybe we shouldn't have gone through all this to bring you back after our mother killed you out of revenge!" She spreads her wings and storms off. Flat Major holds out his hoof. "Sis, please! I know you're upset, but please understand where they're coming from!" "Go away, Flat Major. You've done enough. As Queen in Training, I decree you go back home!" Sharp Tune declares. "You can't do this! Think about all that we've been through! Our long journey to save Princess Twilight and her friends from Mom's rampage!" "I've tried my whole life to prove to everypony that we are our own ponies, but nopony listens to us. What's the point anymore?" Sharp Tune says, huddling her hooves together and crying with her face in hooves, "I'm a nopony. Just accept it. I've been waiting for this day to come and now it has." "Sharp Tune! Sharp Tune, what are you saying? Please!" Flat Major cries. She begins to sob even more as she tries to explode herself with her magic. "Goodbye." "No! "Wh-what happened here, Flat Major?" Twilight Sparkle says. Flat Major bows his head to his sister's, Sharp Tune's body and cries. As Twilight notices the death of Sharp Tune, she is devastated. "What have I done? I-I can't forgive myself for this.... How did she die?" "She committed suicide because of what you said. I tried to stop her before she exploded herself with her magic, but it was no use," Flat Major replies, "What you said was an accident, right, Princess?" "No, I-I don't deserve the title.... I-I had no idea this would happen because of something that just slipped out...." Twilight Sparkle says. "Princess, it's not your fault," Flat Major says. "Actually it is. I came here to apologise, but now I have nopony to apologise to!" Twilight snaps. "Twilight, really. Stop thinking negative thoughts. It's not your fault. You didn't mean to say it, and I can't control what happens in the life of others!" Flat Major shouts, getting impatient. Twilight Sparkle hangs her head in silence as she thinks everything over. Sure, King Piano Muse still loved the relaxing beauties of the pianic sound, but he was tired of all this constant attention that made him lie awake every night. That night, Queen Treble Measure is very concerned for the fate of the her beloved husband. She wants to ask him what is wrong, but couldn't bring herself to do it. She sighs and turns over with her head on his body. The warmth reminds her of their love for each other, making her forget about everything until three hours later. The fear made Queen Treble awake and look around the Royal bedchambers. It is 1:00 A. M. She looks outside and sees the dark sky. It doesn't help though. She sighs and crawls back into bed, but can't sleep one bit. The image haunts her in her mind. Trying to forget it, she tumbles around until something happened that she didn't realise. Unaware of what is going on in her current emotional state, she reaches out to King Piano Muse.
