Episode Two: Cerpress, Part Two

"Wouldn't we have just as much luck on the other shore?"
Fluttershy shakes her head. "They always come to the south shores. Never the north."
"Why?"

"So, that's why we're here on the south side..."

"That's a male sphinx. They usually have noses, but I guess this one's seen some fighting."
He stares at the boat as it approaches, having locked eyes with the camera.
"Are you sure it's the females that are aggressive?" asks Twilight. "He looks quite intent on jumping to the boat..."
"Of course I'm sure. The males are herbivorous."
A screech from above draws the attention of the camera upwards to another human-headed lion, this one with wings.
"That's a female sphinx," confirms Fluttershy. "Now you can see why the south shore is where the two sides meet."
"So, the males can neither fly nor swim?"
"Oh, they can swim. But the shores are several kilometres away from each other. It's not an easy swim. It can be a fast flight, though. Just a couple of minutes."
As Fluttershy says this, the female sphinx turns and starts diving toward the boat. The camera starts shaking. "Didn't you say that the females eat things like us?"
"They do, yes," answers Fluttershy. "That's why I brought you along."
"What?!"
"Because you're good at riddles."
"And you expect me to--"
Twilight does not finish her sentence as everything starts shaking. Even when she stabilises the camera against the mast, the horizon sways back and forth between being flat and listing to the port side. Then another impact is heard as the boat shifts and shakes once more, this time in the opposite direction.
When the deck finally settles, the camera swings around to show that both the male and female sphinx are on the deck. The female begins to step forward, but the male puts his paw on her breast. The male steps forward. "This one is intriguing. I shall begin this challenge. Answer me these riddles three, and I shall spare your life."
"I'm hungry!" growls the female, turning to Twilight. "If you wish to stay alive, you will solve these riddles five!"
"Wait your turn!" snaps the male, once more smacking the female to keep her back. "I will start this off." He steps forward, and Fluttershy steps into frame to join him. "It calls the sun to cross the sky each morning. Each night, it sees its matrons to bed. It is the only chicken that does not lay any eggs. What is it?"
Twilight scoffs. "I'll have you know that I studied chickens, and I believe you will find that all of the different varieties of chickens lay eggs."
"It's a riddle, Twilight," assures Fluttershy. "There's going to be some wordplay. It's all about thinking outside of the box." She sighs. "Now, I have raised a lot of chickens in my day, and even some things that look like chickens, but aren't. Every hen that I've seen, save for those that were too young or too old, have been laying eggs rapidly. That's just how chickens are. The fact that you said "matrons" makes me think young, but there's only one type of chicken that calls for the sun to cross the sky." She takes a deep breath. "You are describing a rooster."
He scoffs. "All chickens roost."
"She means a male chicken," interjects Twilight. "Male chickens are called roosters."
"Are they, now? We had always used another name for them..."
"Oh, right," nods Fluttershy. "What I meant to say was "cock." You're describing a cock."

Episode Five: Sphinx, Part Two
The male sphinx pulls Fluttershy closer to him, stepping so that he's standing over her. "This one has answered my riddles, and is now under my protection." Fluttershy snuggles up to his soft fur, staying beneath him as he moves back out of frame.
The female sphinx hisses. "I can still eat this one," she snarls, leering at Twilight.
"I-I have a riddle for you ," interjects Twilight. "Or, wait, you said if I answered your riddles, you wouldn't eat me!"
"I said I wouldn't kill you," corrects the sphinx. "You can live without a leg, can't you?"
"Ask your riddles," chimes the male from off camera. "The prey is unfinished if she has not given thought to her answers."
The female hisses again, then puffs out her chest. "Very well. Let us see if you can fathom the answer to this riddle: Doomed to run from place to place, ever chasing, ever chased. And though I'm always travellin', I rarely change the place I'm in."
Twilight slumps down, setting the camera off to the side. Fluttershy and the male sphinx come into view as Twilight starts to think, hemming and hawing out of frame. As she does, the male sphinx leans down and whispers something into Fluttershy's ear. She lowers her head a bit, but continues to listen as his face slowly starts to contort into a grin. Fluttershy's face starts to turn red, and she nods slowly.
The male sphinx lowers his head, sniffing at Fluttershy's neck with the holes where his nose used to be. Slowly, his paw wraps around her waist and pulls her back, letting her body disappear under him. She shifts and shudders a bit, then a pair of pink panties flops onto the deck at her feet.
"Aha!" exclaims Twilight. "I see, now. You were referring to a river!"
"Quite correct," the female growls. "You see a boat filled with people. You look away, and look back to see that there is not a single passenger nor crew member aboard. The boat has neither sunk, nor capsised, nor has anyone left the boat. In addition, no one has gone below deck. How do you explain this?"
Twilight sighs. "I'm assuming that, the first time I saw the boat, my eyes weren't just playing tricks on me? It'd be a real shame if the answer was "the boat was full of mannequins of cardboard standees." I actually saw real people the first time?"
"That is accurate, yes."
"Okay..."
As Twilight ponders the implication, the male turns sideways to find a more balanced grip for his paws against the side wall of the ship, rather than the flat surface of the deck. The sound of Twilight drumming her fingers is all that could be heard as the male sphinx begins to hump forward and backward, at a slow pace at first. If the horizon is any indication, the boat is rocking no more than usual as he drives his entire length into her over and over again. After a couple of minutes, Fluttershy lets her hands fall away from her mouth, content in her ability to keep quiet, or at least more confident in her mouth than in her balance, as her hands are now gripping the elbows of the sphinx.
He begins to change it up a bit, doing two fast thrusts, followed by a slower, longer, deeper one. "Two," corrects Twilight. "One for me to answer, and then one for you."
The sphinx snarls again, and barks out her last riddle. "What is it that is never scared, yet can become petrified, cannot make a bird, yet with ease can make a bat, cannot live inside of a house, but would die for the chance to be in one? It will reach for the sky, yet clutch to the ground, and though it may one day leave, it is always around." She chuckles. "You'd better answer correctly. This is your last chance to make it out alive."

Episode Six: Sphinx, Part Three
"Time is running out, little prey," chuckles the female sphinx from behind the camera. "Soon, you will be my lunch..."
"You never said anything about a time limit!" snaps Twilight. "You can't just change the rules in the middle of the game like that, either!"
"Who said anything about the rules changing? There was no point where I said there was no time limit."
"But if you don't tell the other player about the time limit, they'll assume there isn't one!"
"By all means, keep arguing with me," snickered the sphinx. "Your time can run out, you can forget what the question was, you can become flustered and guess wrong... All good options."

As Twilight falls silent, the sphinx covers Fluttershy's already quiet moaning by shoving his tongue into her mouth. They are really going at it now, the slapping of their thighs muffled by the sphinx's thick fur and drowned out by the wind.

As the flap of wings is heard, the sudden imbalance of weight causes the boat to rock violently to either side, and the camera falls to the deck, only being picked up again once everything calms down. The camera pans back across the wall of statuettes and carvings, all while Harry grunts and groans in the background.

Sometimes, he'd come down to the river and not even catch anything; he'd just watch them swim and try to figure out their movement. The camera moves from statuettes to carvings on flat planks.

"It's just a little further. We're pretty close, now. If we spot them, great, if not, I know where they'll be."
They pass through some thick shrubs and into a more open area, looking very warm and filled with yellow grass. As Rarity pans around the area, it looks very hilly and arid. Not big hills, or anything like that. Small hills, like sand dunes. "I thought deserts were supposed to be hot," she proclaims.
"It's not a desert," clarifies Fluttershy. "It's still a plain, it's just... filled with sand from beneath."
"So, with enough wind, the surface of this place can roll?"
Fluttershy shakes her head. "It'd probably rip the grass out, first..." As they crest one of the hills, Fluttershy points to a hole in the ground. "There's a burrow. Come on, Rarity."
They make their way down to the burrow, and rather than sticking the camera in there, Rarity opts to stand back a fair distance.
"Hi," smiles Fluttershy into the hole. "Sorry to bother you, but would you mind coming out?"
No response seems to come.
"Sure. Not a problem. It's the least I can do after waking you up."
She reaches her hand into the hole, and something long and black wraps around her arm, sliding up to her shoulder before its forked tongue wiggles out of its mouth to tickle her ear.
Rarity gasps and shrieks, jumping backwards. "You never told me we'd be dealing with snakes! Gross, gross, gross!!"
"Oh, Rarity, they're not that bad. Most of them keep pretty clean."
"They rub their bellies through the dirt and they don't use soap. "Clean" requires soap and water, and maybe a good scrubbing."
"Opalescence just requires a good brushing," argues Fluttershy.
"Yes, but Opalescence doesn't go traipsing around in the mud. She has more good sense than that."
The snake is now up on Fluttershy's shoulders, wrapped loosely around her neck, with its tail drifting down between her breasts. "She does, I'll give you that. But Hisshel, here, just shed his skin not too long ago, so he's fresh and clean as a daisy."

There's a moment of silence as Rarity considers the offer. "Just for a minute?"

Rarity shakes her head. "I would never! But I might just make something that looks like him, but is ethically sourced. No snake killing at all. Don't you think it would look quite nice if I could manage to do so safely?"
Fluttershy thinks for a moment, then nods. "I suppose if it doesn't hurt any snakes, then it's fine. But if you were to do that, I'd think you'd look better with a diamondback than an indigo snake."
Rarity's eyes open wide, and she slowly turns her head to look at Fluttershy.

"Did you just say "diamondback?""
"Yeah, it's another species of snake. They're commonly hunted for their skins. If you could make fake skins that look as good as the real ones, th--"

"Yoo-hoo!" calls Rarity into the hole. "Are there any other fashion models in here that want to have their likeness shine across Equestria?"
Fluttershy places her hand on Rarity's shoulder. "Rarity, different breeds of snakes don't really live together in the same hole. All you're going to find in there is another Indigo snake."
Rarity looks down at her waist. "He's more a midnight blue than an indigo, darling."
"That's the species name."
Rarity huffs. "Well, whoever names these species should be more aware of what they're doing. If you're going to mislead ponies into picking the wrong colour, then you might as well go all the way and call him a pink polka-dot dog! If you were to tell me that I needed to make an outfit that matched an indigo snake, and this was that snake," she gestures to her waist, "I'd end up providing you with accoutrements of the wrong colour. Because this is not indigo!"
She's clearly growing more heated, which causes the snake to wrap around her even tighter.
"What's he doing? Is he trying to constrict me?!"
Fluttershy places her hand on the snake's back. "No. Snakes are cold-blooded reptiles. They like warm environments, so as your body temperature becomes more suited to their liking, they like to pursue that, presuming that they don't have something else that they're trying to pursue."

As the dragon approaches, Fluttershy is made to turn around and face him. "I recognise you from your show. I can't believe I'm meeting you, at last." He grips her hand and shakes it. Looking at her, one might assume that he was shaking her whole body.
"You know, that's not how you spell her name," pointed out Rainbow. "That F at the beginning is upside-down."
The dragon looks at the sign. "Oh. Sorry. I'm not good with pony letters. In our Alphabet, it's just five letters."
"It's fine," waves Rainbow. "We knew what you meant. Now, let's go see this place you rented."
"Right. It's just across the way."
It's not just across the way, but a few blocks down from the train station. The town seems to be filled with Equestrian citizens, but they're familiar enough with the dragons that no one really bats an eye. It's not even odd when he turns the key in the lock.
"Guys, she's here!" the dragon calls as he enters the house.
Two more dragons show up, one from a guest room on the second floor, and another from the back yard.

The one from upstairs is more dark brown, but his spines are bright red. "I'm also named Obsidian. I go by Ian."
Rainbow turns to the one that brought them here. "Let me guess, your name is also Obsidian, but you go by Ob?"
He shakes his head. "Nope. My name's Shard. That's short enough that I don't need a nickname."
"Uh huh. Well, I'm Rainbow Dash. I'm filling in for Twilight because she's busy. Princess stuff, am I right?"
The dragons all look at her blankly. "Who?"
"Princess Twilight. You know, the current ruler of Equestria?"
"We know who she is," answers Sid. "We don't know who you are."
"What!? I'm a nationally ranked flight champion! I've won more gold medals than most ponies ever see!"
The dragons shrug and turn to Fluttershy. "Is she qualified to run the camera?" asks Shard.
Fluttershy nods sheepishly.
Rainbow growls under her breath. "Just start the show, already. We can talk about the ways in which I'm disappointed in all of you later..."
"I didn't mean to disappoint you, Rainbow," whimpers Fluttershy.
"Not you, the other three!" Rainbow groans in frustration.
The dragons turn and look at each other. "Sorry about that. How about we move into the living room, and we can conduct the interview from the couch?" offers Shard.
As Rainbow moves the camera stuff into the living room, she grumbles about the dragons having never heard of her, despite recognising Fluttershy on sight. The camera is set up on a tripod in front of the couch between two others, with Shard and Sid taking their seats on the sides and Fluttershy sitting in the middle. Ian kneels down behind the couch, placing his claw firmly on Fluttershy's shoulder. "You ready?"
Fluttershy shakes her head, but Rainbow speaks. "She's ready. Go."
Shard clears his throat and looks into the camera. "Hey, everyone. Today, we're having a big crossover event that's sure to make you all very excited. We, the dragons three, are joined today by an up-and-coming, yet already wildly popular talent, Fluttershy of Equestria!"
The three dragons turn and clap at Fluttershy.
"Long-time fans of the show will know that we first heard of Fluttershy and what she was doing about a year ago. She started releasing videos filled with all kinds of species, some of which I'd never heard of before."

There's a loud klunk as a few steel cans are tossed into the enclosure and the door closes. The camera, as well as Fluttershy, look down into the room as a creature walks into view.
The comparison to a dog is not entirely incorrect. The basic body shape of the creature is not dissimilar to that of a large, muscular canine. "We have tranquiliser darts," suggests the guard. "If things escalate out of hand, we can just drug them. And worst-case scenario, we are allowed to just shoot them if they break through the door."

Fluttershy steps through the first steel door, which closes behind her, and then the next one, as well. It slides sideways as it tries to stop, falling over and collapsing to the ground before standing up. "So, that's what we've decided to call the sentry of their group," explains the scientist over the intercom. There are three we've referred to as "adults," of which, this is one. He's called-- Wait, what's going on here?"

"I don't have the cables with me..."

Twilight sets the camera down in front of the cable ports. "How do I...?"
"The red cable goes in the red port, the white cable goes in the white port, and the yellow cable goes in the half yellow, half green port. It's not rocket science."
Twilight plugs in the red and white cables, and as she's plugging in the yellow one, the video cuts mid-frame to an alternate view. There is no audio, because the security cameras are not equipped with microphones. But they do show that it is eleven thirty-eight in the morning, and there are at least three cameras, as this is labeled as "Camera 3.04."

"It's more of a lock," he explains. "She has to go into the first chamber alone."
The camera is carried over to the door as Fluttershy climbs off the skag, scratching his neck before coming inside.
"She's in, and she's alone!" calls Twilight, prompting the guard to close the door and open up the other one. "How are you feeling? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine," assures Fluttershy. "They were very sweet and caring. They're just incredibly frustrated and bored. And not at all pleased with their diets."
"Is that why they were always vomiting up their food?" asks the scientist, approaching from out of frame. "What are they supposed to eat?"
"Well, they're omnivorous, so what food you've been feeding them is mostly fine. "Yellow poppings on log" was a favourite, as was "little green spheres." But what they really liked was the one time you gave them "meat on a half-bone." Corn, peas and ham, I'm assuming?"
"We'll try that," assures the scientist. "What's going to stop them from vomiting it up, though?"
Fluttershy shakes her head. "Nothing."
"Nothing?"
"It's a two-way digestive system. Food comes in through the mouth, goes to the stomach, is digested, and the remnants come right back out the way they went in. I specifically asked them about it, and they were certain that this was the case. Also, I checked their claim against some evidence. Did you not realise that they have no anuses?"
There's a pause.
"I did not. That would explain the lack of feces."
"Anyway, my point is, take the food out of the can before you give it to them. And also, they need toys, and something that I'm going to have to make for them. Don't worry, they gave me the specifications. I'll make it, Twilight will have it brought in. If you do that, it should calm them down quite a bit."

Episode Twenty-Five: Thestrals, Part One
"Wowie, zowie, we're high up!" Pinkie Pie's words echo off of the dry, lifeless rocks that surround the crag they're approaching. "Not even the clouds were brave enough to fly this high up!"
"We're actually not that high up," clarifies Fluttershy. "We're actually just in an area where the air is uncharacteristically dense, which is causing the clouds to drop down. It's more akin to fog at this point."
Pinkie pans the camera around and shows the giant pillars of stone jutting straight out of the ground and up into the sky. As she peers over the edge of the hot air balloon, the area right beneath them is nothing more than sharp rocks and fog. But as she looks back up, Fluttershy has her gaze set on a mountain with a lot of caves bored into it.
"So, that's where we're going?"
"Yep."
"Not to be a judgy judgerson, but what kind of critter wants to live in a place like this, where there aren't any friends to make?"
"They can make friends with each other," answers Fluttershy. "They're actually very communal. Spend their lives together. Without a lot of ponies coming up here, they're reliant on each other for companionship."
"Well, they maybe wouldn't have to be if they were more willing to come on down to Ponyville. I'd make some friends for them in no time!"
"Well, actually, I--"
Fluttershy is cut off as the basket suddenly pitches, and Pinkie falls out. She screams for a few seconds as the camera tumbles aimlessly, then stops screaming a second before the camera locks in place, staring straight at the ground and panning quickly across the landscape until it stops, coming to a gentle sideways rest on the side of the mountain.
"Oh, you saved the camera, too!" squeaks Pinkie. "I'm guessing you're the creatures Fluttershy told me about?"
There's a warbling squawk from behind the camera as Pinkie picks it up and turns it to the hot air balloon, which is being buffeted around by the wind. That is, until some black blur grabs the basket and pulls it toward the camera. It stops, however, when it's out of the wind, grabbing a rope to tie the whole apparatus to a stone pillar. The balloon is still stranded in the air, but Fluttershy crawls out onto the back of whatever the black thing is and rides it to where Pinkie Pie is waiting.
"Wow, what a rescue! I didn't expect those winds to come out of nowhere like that! I bet it'd be fun to do wingsuit gliding out here!" As she claps, Fluttershy disembarks. "How about you?"
"Oh. No, I'm not a fan of horizontal skydiving. Or vertical. I would prefer a soft, gentle descent on the breeze."
"I wonder what caused the wind to go all loco in the coco like that?"
Fluttershy gestures to the ground below. "There are pits below those clouds. They might be causing some kind of low-pressure pocket that causes air to rush in, creating stronger winds."
"Indeed so," nods Pinkie, nodding the camera along with her head. "Most indeededly..." She whips the camera over to a couple of the black creatures. "So, are these your critter friends?"
The creatures have a body shape similar to that of an equine, except it's desiccated and thin. Even its ribcage is thin and sleek, and it goes back further than that of most animals, going almost straight to its hips. This is made apparent by the fact that its ribs show through its skin. Not that its skin has stretched so tight that its rib placement is notable, but that its ribs go out further than its skin does, creating a partial exoskeleton.
Its legs end in claws, similar to that of a gryphon, but in this case, it's all four legs, not just the two in front. Also like a gryphon, its face is capped with a hooked beak, though its face is more skeletal. Its wings appear to just be black, stick-like appendages, until it opens them, and a thin, clear film fills the space. The same is true of its tail, with the skeletal-looking vertebrae extending down, and a transparent, almost ghostly series of strands come out.
"These are thestrals," explains Fluttershy. "They live out here because they look scary. There have been reports throughout history of one of these creatures walking into town, and death would follow close behind it. This has led to a common misconception that they bring death, and should be cast out, or, more recently, there has been a more believable, yet equally untrue rumour that they themselves are killing ponies. This is a lie."
"So, I'm not going to contract some awful disease if I touch them?"
Fluttershy responds not with words, but by petting one's neck.
"Welp, that's good enough for me!" Pinkie's hand reaches out from behind the camera as it turns to one of the thestrals and gently scritches the underside of its jaw. "Thanks for the rescue!"
The thestral, in turn, nuzzles her hand.
"So, what do we call this little guy?"
"Veronica," answers Fluttershy. "She's a girl."
"Whoopsie!" giggles Pinkie. "My bad. I'm still learning."
Fluttershy gently pets the one she rode in on. "This one is named Thurston."
Thurston warbles and caws in the direction of the camera, then starts strutting off, bobbing his head forward and backward as he walks.
"Do they listen to a lot of music?" asks Pinkie.
"No. Why do you ask?"
"Just wondering why his head's doing that. Actually, lotsa birds do that. Sure would be nice to figure out why."
Fluttershy clears her throat. "The reason is actually pretty simple. If they keep their heads still on their necks and don't move them, they're going to see everything moving at once. If they move their head into position and hold it there for a second or two, then move again, Then the moment where they're not moving allows them to take in a lot of information very quickly. If they held their heads in place while the rest of their bodies moved, everything would be a blur, or, their eyes would need to twitch a lot, which becomes more difficult the wider your pupil is. So, since birds have very wide pupils, as do Thestrals, it's a lot easier to just bob their heads."
"Huh..." snorts Pinkie. "Well, I guess I learned something today. I'm clear to be ignorant for the next twelve hours!"

Episode Twenty-Six: Thestrals, Part Two
"So, thestrals live in big communities. They spend a lot of time underground or in the air. They're actually very accomplished flyers, and are even pretty good diggers. Look down at their claws."
The camera pans down to the thestrals' claws. At their right, the claws were thinner, longer, sharper. On the left, they were shorter and wider.
"They use their right claws to cut through dirt and rocks, and their left to scoop it out of the way," explains Fluttershy. "This back and forth makes it really easy to move through mountains."
"Wouldn't in be just as easy to make their homes in hills?" asks Pinkie.
"For individual homes, maybe," smirked Fluttershy. "Maybe this will be easier to explain if we go inside?"
They head to the entrance to the cave and see that there are hundreds of thestrals all living here together. It's not even dark, because the sunlight reflects off of the jewels in the walls and illuminates the whole cave. It drops down a fair distance once inside, with a lot of small chambers and also a fair few large ones carved into the walls. The larger ones seem to be communal areas where every thestral is welcome.
"Thestrals are big believers in genealogy. Families stay together for a long time, building outward from within. It's not unlikely that every thestral here has a common ancestor."
"Ew!"
Fluttershy looks back at Pinkie. "What's wrong?"
"That means that they're doing... Well, you know..."
Fluttershy shrugs. "What?"
"That thing that families aren't supposed to do?"
Fluttershy takes a deep breath. "Yes. That's common in the animal kingdom. Well, not common, per se, but not very rare. In this case, they don't really have a lot of choice in the matter. This is the only Thestral crag on the continent. They'd have to cross the ocean to find a partner who shares no familial connection. Besides, they're far enough away to not be as big of a problem as you might think. Second cousin is good enough. Third is better. And since there's space enough for them to make it all the way to twelfth cousin, they're pretty diverse."
"That's still kind of gross..."
"Maybe. But that's how it works with thestrals, and it's working fine for them."
"What if it was you and your brother?" pokes Pinkie. "Still okay?"
"No," scoffs Fluttershy. "Zephyr's awful, first of all. Second, not even in thestral groupings is a brother-sister relationship common. That's way too close. Think of it more like... You and Big Mac."
"Nope. That study was inconclusive. We're not officially related, because the records don't go back far enough. Besides, Big Mac is awesome."
"We all know that Big Mac is objectively better than Zephyr Breeze. Not even a contest. Hang out with them for two minutes each, and you'll know which one is better by a longshot."
A trill from Thurston brings the attention back to the reason for the video. "Right. We'll cut all of that out. So, anyway, Let's go see what their private chambers look like. You know, where they sleep?"
Fluttershy climbs up on Thurston's back and holds on tight as he leaps over the side and dives down several levels, coming to a rest outside of one of the small chambers mere seconds later.

The camera turns to show the inside of the chamber, and it's very cozy. There's even a raised section with straw, which he lies down on like a bed. There's also another section, just off to the side, which is also slightly raised and has hay, but is more disheveled. Not in such a way that it was torn up, but in that someone stopped taking care of it. It's smaller, too.
"What's with the unkempt bed over here?" asks Pinkie.
"That's a nest," answers Fluttershy. "When a thestral chooses their mate, they make a nest for the egg to be laid in. It is here that the chick will hatch, and grow into an adolescent. The nest looking like this means one of two things. Either Thurston has lost his mate somehow, along with their egg, or more likely, he was not approved of by his potential mate."
"Is that more common?"
"It's more likely that a thestral will say "no" than die, yeah."
Thurston lays his head down, pretty much confirming the claim that he was denied. "It's okay, though," smiles Fluttershy, sitting next to him and rubbing his neck. "Thestrals don't mate for life. Rather, not always. Some do, sure, and that's the ideal, but most only mate for a long time. They can split up and find new mates as they need to. They just have to find a willing party."
"That's it!" squeaks Pinkie. "We'll throw him a party! A single thestral party! That way, he can find himself a mate!"
Pinkie drops the camera to the floor and, judging by the sound of her voice going down in volume, flies off on the back of her thestral mount to one of the communal areas.
"You really should consider going," urges Fluttershy. "Even if it is in poor taste, she means well. She genuinely would be happy to help you find the bird for you."
Thurston sighs and crows sadly, curling his beak to rest on Fluttershy's thigh.
"If I may ask, what happened?"
He trills a little bit, then places his left claw over his face.
"Well, she probably thought it would be too rough on her. That's a lot to--"
She's cut off by a squawk that stops her in her tracks. After a silent pause, the sad trilling comes back.
"Well, I... I certainly didn't consider that. I know it's not a popular opinion, but... I may be able to help you out with that. You know, just to calm you down..."

Episode Twenty-Seven: Thestrals, Part Three
Fluttershy takes a deep breath. Then another, finally, she speaks. "I'm ready. What do you need?"
Thurston lifts his hips up without moving his shoulders from the bed. He does move his beak from Fluttershy's thigh, allowing her to move. She stands up and moves behind him as he lifts his tail out of the way. His legs begin to spread as his back toes curl.
"So... I just..."
He trills impatiently, turning his head over his shoulder.
"O-okay..."
After yet another deep breath, Fluttershy presses her face against Thurston's arse. Immediately, his impatient warbling is halted, giving way to more relaxed cooing. As he starts to relax the front of his body, his back legs seem to become even more tense. That includes the new one forming between the other two.

The camera follows him out of the chamber and down to one of the larger communal areas where several dozen thestrals are waiting. It's hard to point out the males and females from this distance, but it's easy to see that they're enjoying each other's company.
"Thanks for doing this, Pinkie," says Fluttershy. "He deserves some happiness."
"It's what I do," waves Pinkie. "That party is functional enough to run on its own. And even if he doesn't find the right one right away, it'll at least open some doors for him."

Episode Twenty-Eight: Dolphins, Part One
The camera clicks on to a view of the side of the boat, then immediately turns outward as it hits the water, showing a bunch of fish all swimming upside-down. It shows this view for a few seconds before a yellow streak enters the water from below, letting the bubbles trickle down towards the surface.
A green bikini top with a broken clasp floats by, and moments later, Fluttershy and her breasts are hanging upside down in front of the camera as she sticks her head through the floor. She says something, but through the surface tension of the water, it's hard to hear properly.

"Is this the normal size?" whispers Twilight. "I thought the group would be... bigger."
Fluttershy turns back to the camera and shakes her head. "Bottlenose Dolphin pods go through stages of fusion and fission all the time. Sometimes, two groups come together to form one, and when they split, they break back into two groups with the separated groups being completely different than the two that formed it."
"Don't they want to stay with their families?" asks Twilight. "Surely, their families are worth something, right?"
"Oh, yes, absolutely," smiles Fluttershy. It's actually very common for the fathers to stay with the young and raise them to be stronger, better offspring, so that their offspring can be yet better."
"That's odd," snorts Twilight. "You would think that the mother would be the one to be protective."
"Not in the case of the bottlenose dolphin. You will find that, in their case, the groups are more often collections of males, rather than females. The boys tend to stay together longer and with more powerful friendships. The girls tend to upset each other and leave."
"That's still pretty odd," sighs Twilight. "I was sure most fish tend to stay together in schools."
Fluttershy turns back to Twilight. She looks concerned. "Dolphins are mammals, Twilight."
"Oh. Right. Duh..." Twilight chuckles. "I knew that. Why did I think they were fish?"
"I don't think that's even a common misconception," pouts Fluttershy. "That's one of those "gotcha" type facts that every schoolfilly uses to try to one-up their friends. Dolphins, whales and bats are all mammals."
"As are platypi, despite laying eggs. I was aware, it's just... I can't always remember everything perfectly. When you have as much information memorised as I do, sometimes facts are misremembered."
"It's okay," smirks Fluttershy. "We can fix it in post, right?"
"We'll fix it in post."
The dolphins are close now, and begin to circle around them. Fluttershy reaches out to touch the top of one's head, gently rubbing him. "You know, Dolphins are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet."
"How so?"
"They've been shown to learn very quickly, and even master complicated concepts. They've even been known to communicate directly with ponies."
"Rats have been known to display the same behaviour," argues Twilight. "Shouldn't they be given a shot?"
"They should," agrees Fluttershy. "They're very intelligent, too. But you know what they're not? Here. And the dolphins are."
"Okay, okay. So, tell us more about the dolphins."
"Well, for one thing, they never truly sleep. They're capable of turning off half of their brain to let it rest, then switching sides so that they always have awareness of what's going on around you. You'll never come across a sleeping dolphin. Only a half-asleep one."
"Why is that, do you think?"
"Because they have lungs instead of gills, they need to keep breathing air, and most marine creatures would sink if they fell asleep. They'd all drown if they couldn't keep themselves close to the surface. They have to fill their lungs with air, and for them, breathing takes some amount of thought. It's not on autopilot, like it is for us. This is called "unihemispheric sleeping," and they typically stay near the surface while doing so. Otherwise, they would die."
"Wow. I was hoping for a theory, but you just have the answer, huh?"
Fluttershy shrugs. "You know I can just ask them, right?"
"I know. I just... You knew without asking them anything."
She shrugs. "I studied before we came out."
One of the dolphins stops circling, putting his body in a shape not dissimilar to the letter S. He lets out a somewhat loud squeak and chitters a little bit.
"You're right, I'm sorry," says Fluttershy, raising a hand. "We'll go back to it."
"What was that about?" asks Twilight.
"Oh, he just insisted that we stop arguing..."

Episode Twenty-Nine: Dolphins, Part Two
"How about a fun fact?" asks Fluttershy.
"Aren't most facts fun?" retorts Twilight.
"Dolphin encounters for the public suddenly skyrocketed a few years ago. Sapphire Shores, the Pony of Pop, said in an interview that a pod of dolphins was protecting her dreams, and a lot of her fans all scheduled times to swim with dolphins. It was a huge influx."
"That does sound fun. Seems like a great way to learn about animals."
"It actually caused a fair amount of damage to a lot of dolphins in captivity. And increased demand meant more dolphins were taken into captivity to allow more encounters. But it did raise awareness of what dolphins are like, and now it's calmed down a fair bit. Some of them have even been released to the wild."
"Oh, that sounds like good news."
"Some of them. Not all of them."
"Well, I'm sure the ones that stayed in captivity are being better taken-care of. I know for a fact that there's one in the Canterlot Aquariums that's missing a few fins."
"That is true," nods Fluttershy. "For those that are disabled, having somepony around to take care of them is a wonderful thing. But for those that are perfectly healthy, a small tank is a horrible way to spend the rest of your life."
"Speaking of remaining life, the battery for this camera is indicating twenty percent. I should go back to the boat and grab another. Can you handle things here while I do that?"
Fluttershy nods, and there's a small whoosh as Twilight retreats. The dolphins start swirling faster, until one breaks off and swats at Fluttershy with his tail.
"Hey! That's not nice."
He opens his mouth wide and starts clicking at her.
"Well, that's no reason to hit me..."
Another comes over and smacks her before taking on a crooked posture. A little red nub pushes out of his pelvis before he swims back into the swirling circle.
"You, too? Why are you suddenly all being mean to me?"
Another comes by, raking his teeth against her ribs. As he swims past the camera, his erection is on full display.

She's cut off again as another dolphin swims up and takes hold of her with his teeth, wrapping his tail around hers just as the other one had. Moments later, his hips begin to buck, and Fluttershy has to hold on to keep his teeth from sawing into her skin.

When he finishes and the next one swims up, she struggles just until she's struck by one of the tails, and then she stops fighting it. It is at this moment that a look of resignation takes over.
When the next one swims up, she opens her mouth and grabs him, not to push him away, but to take control of the situation. She starts bobbing her head in time with his thrusts, creating a better seal with her lips, and even moaning as she goes.
As he moves off, she turns to the fourth one and, with steely eyes, beckons him closer. He chitters at her a bit, but she chitters back, and swims a bit closer. He tries to take a more dominant stance, S-posing and clicking at her, but her hand darts to his dick, and before he can try to swim away, it's already in her mouth, and she's swallowed the whole thing already.
Something's different about this one, though. Even after his hips stop thrusting, she remains clamped on, and her tongue darts out of her mouth to rub him down. He tries to swim away, even smacks her with his tail, but she holds tight, a scowl on her face until he starts squeaking in a panic. Even then, she waits several seconds for it to stop before letting him swim away.
"You all were very cruel, ganging up on me the way that you did!" she scolds. "I came out here to talk about how great you are, and not only do you all take a run at me, but you also all team up to make it easier on yourselves. Shame on you! Shame on all of you."
The dolphins stop swirling around her, and the one that she grabbed is floating a bit further away, keeping his head down.
"But you know what the most upsetting thing about all of this is?" Fluttershy asks, turning to glare at all of them. "What hurts the most about all of this is that despite the fact that each of you were only thinking of yourselves and each other, none of you were thinking about me."
As they start to shrink back, she grabs two of them by the fins.
"But now that you've opened up that can of worms, I need to be satisfied. And you're not leaving until I finish."

Episode Thirty: Dolphins, Part Three
With all of the strength of a mare denied, Fluttershy spins the largest dolphin around so that they're face-to-face. She's looming over him, as if she were pinning him down, but not against anything. They're still entwined, but now it's her tail that's wrapped around his.
Her hips buck, her slit enveloping him and gripping his shaft as she rides him. All the while, she's glaring into his eyes, her rarely-seen frustration now on full display.
As was the case earlier, though, his hips buck a bit, and he's finished. For good, this time. Having fired off three loads in less than fifteen minutes, he, like the one Fluttershy had already grabbed, is unable to continue. He's tapped out, and as soon as Fluttershy's grip loosens, he's gone, swimming away in a huff.
Fluttershy practically has to chase the next one down, grabbing ahold of his tail and pulling herself up his belly. "I'm so close," she growls. "Don't take this away from me!"
Grinding her body against his, she slaps her hips against him in measured, yet firm thrusts. Once she manages to be penetrated, he doesn't even last a minute with her.
As he swims away, Fluttershy whorls around, looking for the last one. However, after two full rotations, she stops. Realisation washes across her face when she spots him. He looks horrified.
"Oh, no..." She swims up to him gently. "It's okay. I'm past that, now..."
He swims out to meet her, tentatively touching his nose to her hand. He clicks at her a few times, then falls silent.
"No, and I'm sorry. I lost myself in the moment."
He squeaks at her.
"Well, yes, that's also true, but I shouldn't have snapped like I did. It is true that you all pushed me there, but I was the one who pushed back twice as hard, and I'm sorry. Truly, deeply sorry."
Another dolphin returns to vocalise at her.
"Yes, I need to apologise to you, too. More, in fact. I really didn't mean to do what I did. It was wrong of me, and I regret my decision. How can I make this right?"
Another dolphin comes up from behind and nuzzles her, clicking his tongue.
Fluttershy reaches back and smiles. "I forgive you for that. It's all in the past, now, so we can look to the future."
The first one squeaks at her, draping himself across her lap.
"Oh, no, I couldn't do that! What I did was an act of malice and what you did was--"
She's interrupted one final time by being smacked by a tailfin. As she turns her attention to the dolphin that smacked her, he starts a very long series of squeaks, clicks, and chitters that Fluttershy pays close attention to, not taking her eyes off of him.
"Okay," she sighs when he's done. "I... reluctantly... accept your apology. That doesn't make what I did right, and it doesn't fix the problem, but if it puts us back on equal terms and allows us to move forward, that's something, at least..."
"I'm back," calls Twilight, taking ahold of the camera and pointing it down. As she braces the camera against her abdomen, the front of her tail comes into view, and her vaginal slit is on full display, pulled slightly open by the tension on her skin.
Suddenly, big red letters appear:
WARNING
Along with this warning, an icon appears in the top right corner of the frame, indicating a low battery. But after a few seconds, it refills, then disappears.
"There we go," explains Twilight, returning the camera to look at Fluttershy and the dolphins instead of her lightly-spread vagina. "Battery replaced. I probably should have done that before we started."
"That might have been a good idea," sighs Fluttershy.
"That's... very passive-aggressive of you," notes Twilight. "Did I upset you?"
Fluttershy shakes her head. "I'm upset with myself." She looks at the camera. "While you were gone, we had a bit of a... I guess you would call it a "disagreement." It was about to turn into an altercation. If you hadn't gone back... If you'd stayed, I..."
A dolphin rubs up against her. It's the last of the four to forgive her.
She sighs. "It's fine, okay? I just... I lost myself for a bit, and now I want to... move on."
"Move on as in skip the dolphins, or move on as in go back to filming?"
"The second one. We were almost done, anyway. Unless you have questions?"
"Other than "What happened while I was gone to set such a mood?" No."
"Well, as I said earlier, dolphins are incredibly smart. They have the emotional maturity to know when they're responsible for mistakes they've made, and to come forward and admit that what they've done is wrong. They also have the strong bonds of friendship that allows them to work together with barely any speech between them, just knowing each other well enough to infer when another needs help, and it's not uncommon for them to rush in to help each other. But even more than that, they can recognise that, even when faced with somepony that's not a dolphin going through a difficult time in their, life, they will come to make her feel better, even if she was acting like a selfish jerk mere moments ago. Because they know she's not really a bad pony, she's just experiencing a bad..."
She wipes her face, then realises that her tears are disappearing in the water, and she doesn't have to. However, in evidence to her claim, one of the dolphins nuzzles her face to make sure she's alright.
"They're intelligent. And though at times, it appears that they're cold and calculating, and maybe even a little bit cruel, it cannot be denied that they experience empathy, they like having positive relationships, and they'll apologise for anything they do that hurts each other, and they're only looking to protect themselves and their loved ones. Dolphins are great, and we should all be thrilled to have them, and have the opportunity to interact with them. We're lucky to be able to experience this in our lifetimes."
"I'm going to go ahead and call it there," says Twilight. "I don't know what happened while I was gone, but I think you need a bit of rest. Let's go back to the boat and review the footage, hm?"

Episode Thirty-One: Eagles, Part One
"--urn this on," answers Rainbow Dash. "That way, we can start right away when we make it up there."
"Good idea," nods Fluttershy as the camera moves from the rocks to her face. She stuffs the last of her sandwich into her mouth and wipes the crumbs from her lips. "Keep it on the straps, though. We wouldn't want to drop it all the way down."
The camera turns and looks down. They're quite a ways up a very steep cliff. "Remind me again why we have to climb this cliff instead of flying? Both of us have wings, you know. And I'm not even injured anymore."
"I know. But today's species is very territorial. And even though they know we're coming, our size and capacity for flight would set off alarms for them, and I don't want to upset them any more than I have to."
"Uh huh..."
Fluttershy pulls her legs up onto the rock she'd been sitting on and stands up. "I thought you liked rock climbing."
"I do," answers Rainbow, draping the camera over her shoulder and jostling it around a she approaches the flat of the cliff face. "I find it to be relaxing and energising all at the same time."
"How do you do both at once?" asks Fluttershy. "Aren't those contradictory?"
"Not really." As Fluttershy climbs a bit higher, the camera looks up her skirt. Once more, she has neglected to wear panties. "It's a simple activity, so it takes my mind off of everything and makes it easy to relax. And then, when I reach the top, I feel great. Ready to take on the world!"
"So why the upset at climbing this mountain?"
"I have shit to do," answers Rainbow plainly. "And flying would be faster."
"Faster, but more upsetting," agrees Fluttershy. "And we need to not upset them. They're kind of already on a watchlist for how rare they are."
"Well, I guess it's a good thing we're grabbing footage of them now," assures Rainbow. "It'd be a real shame if something happens to them and it grows too late."
Fluttershy visibly shivers. "Please don't talk about that when they're listening," she urges. "I'll add in an extra monologue about it at the end, just... don't tell them that they're conservation-dependant."
"Okay, okay... You, uh... You stuck?"
Fluttershy has stopped moving, her legs almost closed, and currently out of view of the camera. "I'm fine," she states, looking around. "I just need to find a foothold. That one looks a little far."
"Okay, here, gimme a sec..." Rainbow shakes the camera a bit, then tosses something Fluttershy's way. She catches it with ease. "Tie that to your waist. I'll catch you if you fall, so you don't have to fly."
Fluttershy ties it to her waist as instructed and stretches her foot over to the other rock, splaying out her slit and pucker, opening them both slightly before closing her legs again. "I made it. You should probably take the other side; it looks easier."
Rainbow's hair comes into view, then shuffles again. "Yeah, I was going to."
Little more is said until they reach the top of the cliff. There are a few upskirt shots of Fluttershy climbing, but it's not any more interesting than the big one. Rainbow seats herself and looks back at the cliff they were on just a few minutes ago, just fifteen metres down. They could have flown up here in less than a minute.
"Look, there it is."
The camera turns to see a very large nest, big enough for both of them to sit in. "That's huge!"
"They are quite big," nods Fluttershy. "This is the nest of a Giant Crested Harpy Eagle; scientific name: Harpiinae Hresvelgr. It's the biggest known species of eagles in the world. Large enough, in fact, that you could ride on its back."
"Why do they call it that?"
"Well, they call it giant because it's huge. Most birds don't grow nearly this large. This is one of the few species larger than a pony."
"What do they eat that makes them so big?"
"Jormungandr, mostly. That's actually a species that was recently discovered, as was this particular type of eagle. There were reports, but nothing credible until just recently. With evidentiary support being more accessible over the last few years, and not just drawings and folklore, we've noted about thirty new species in this area. Including this one."
"So, what is a your-ming-and?"
"Jormungandr are a very large variety of river serpent. It's possible that they've been mistaken for anacondas in the past by research teams, because of the mud, but about two years ago, they were found to be a different species entirely. Just a big snake in the water. But we're not here to talk about that."
There's a screech, followed by a strong gust of wind as an exceptionally large bird lands at the edge of the nest, a massive dead snake in its talons. Each claw is the length of Fluttershy's forearm from elbow to wrist, or would be if they weren't curled up. Its wings, still spread open, are the size of sails. Its chest is puffy and white, but its beak and wingtips, and even its tail, are black, though the feathers have grey stripes. It has a navy blue rhamphotheca and bright yellow feet.
"There she is, now," smiles Fluttershy, waving Rainbow closer. "Come on."
The camera moves closer as the bird tucks the snake aside, trilling at Fluttershy. She squawks and tilts her head to the side, then back upright.
"Oh, I see. I hope that's not going to be a problem."
"What is?" asks Rainbow. "Is there something I should know?"
Fluttershy turns back to the camera. "It's nothing too serious. We scheduled this out, and she was expecting to be done with something by now. It's just taking a bit longer than what was expected, that's all."
"Oh. Sounds like it's not a problem, then. Unless it's going to interfere with filming?"
"It might," sighs Fluttershy. "She was supposed to have laid her eggs before we arrived. As of now, she's still carrying them. They're late, but not outside of the timeframe where they're late enough to be a danger to her. For now, it's not a big problem, but it does mean we might be in for some complications..."

Episode Thirty-Two: Eagles, Part Two
Fluttershy takes a deep breath. "Okay. Let's turn our attention to something more fun, hm?" she turns to the eagle. "Would you spread your wings for me, please?"
The eagle nods and spreads her wings out wide. It was a little hard to see when she was in flight or landing, because of all of the movement, but with her standing still, her full wingspan is truly massive.
"Whoa," remarks Rainbow. "How big are those?"
"The distance from wingtip to wingtip is just over ten metres," chuckles Fluttershy. "That's three times the span of an albatross, twice that of a chocobo, and a metre and a half wider than a roc!"
"Rocks don't have wings, though?" snorts Rainbow. "When's the last time you saw a stone flying through the air?"
"Earlier today," answers Fluttershy. "The one you kicked."
"Okay, one with wings, then..."
"Discord has a pet rock that can fly."
"Seriously? You're pulling that card?"
"All of this is irrelevant, anyway. Because when I said "roc," I was talking about the bird. You're not going to make fun of me like that kid in second grade, are you?"
"Which one? You're gonna have to be more specific; there were quite a few."
"Remember when we were learning about sharks, and he was trying to convince everyone that the best shark was the biggest one; the great white shark?"
"Yeah. He was wrong, though. Hammerheads look way cooler."
"And I preferred the chain dogfish for my species. And then I pointed out that the largest shark in the world wasn't the great white shark, but the whale shark."
"And then he called you stupid for believing that a whale and a shark could have babies together."
"That's the one."
"And then I called him stupid because he'd already accepted that tiger sharks exist, and tigers can't breed with sharks, either. Like, even less so, because tigers can't breathe underwater, and sharks can't survive on land."
"Loamsharks and sandsharks can," interrupts Fluttershy. "They mostly live in other countries, though, so I don't expect you to be super aware of them."
"Point being, if he's going to make fun of you for believing that whale sharks exist, I'm going to make fun of him for believing that tiger sharks exist."
"Oh, Rainbow, that was years ago..."
"You brought it up."
"Just to say that, just because "roc" sounds like "rock," they're not the same thing. Neither of which is the main subject of our video today. We're focusing on the giant crested harpy eagle, not the giant snowy sea hawk."
The camera turns back to the eagle, which has since closed its wings, and had been pulling apart and eating the snake it had brought back. Now that it's back in view, it wipes its beak. As it does, its crest is made visible; seven black feathers in a decorative pattern adorn its face like a tiara, fanning out across the back of its head. If seen from above or at level, it would be easy to see, but since the bird stands a metre taller than the camera, it wasn't very visible before.
As the eagle turns around, it warbles a bit. Fluttershy takes a step forward, but stops. "Actually, would you like to ride on her back for a bit?"
"I'm well aware of how it feels to fly," assures Rainbow. "And so are you."
"Yeah, but it's different on the back of an eagle. And our viewers might not know what it looks like, so if you take the camera..."
"Roger that." Rainbow moves around the nest, captures an admittedly gruesome shot of the torn-up jormungandr, then mounts the camera to her shoulder, as it had been while climbing. She then climbs up on the eagle's back.
"Now, hold on tight, but try not to kick her too much or pull out any feathers. Just hook your hands over her shoulders and hold on."
One of Rainbow's hands comes into view, and a moment later, the view past her shoulder and that of the eagle becomes the ground, which they start speeding toward. The rush of the wind into the microphone masks all but Rainbow's breathing as it picks up in pace, culminating in a loud "WOOHOO!!" as they pull out of the dive.
The trees rush past at an amazing pace, and as they turn around, the camera can see the ripples of their mach cone still shifting the boughs. Rainbow laughs triumphantly to herself, as that's one of her favourite parts of flying low over a forest.
Then they start climbing again. "I don't know if I should be telling you guys about eagle facts, or anything, but this one's, like, really strong. And that's coming from a great flyer such as myself. If anypony is going to convince you that an eagle is good at flying, it's gonna be me."
After climbing high enough to perform another dive, the eagle turns and goes into a spiral, spinning downward. Rainbow's arm is pressed against her back by the centripetal force, almost disappearing below her feathers until she breaks the dive into a glide.
The glide is immediately followed with a pained squawk. There's a moment of hesitation, then Rainbow has to ask, "Do you need to land?"
A sharp whistle is heard, and in the distance, Fluttershy can be barely seen, waving her arms as they approach. The eagle lands in its nest, and starts to cry out.
"Come down, Rainbow, quick!" urges Fluttershy, as Rainbow is already removing herself. The eagle caws loudly, then flags up her tail. "Something's wrong!"
"Of course it is!" answers Rainbow. "It happened while we were flying. What can I do?"
Fluttershy puts her hands on her head as the eagle cries out a few more times. "Sorry, Rainbow, but this is going to require the ability to listen to what she's saying, and react accordingly. I know you want to help, but..." she climbs into the nest behind the eagle. "This is something that I have to do. You just... make sure everything is okay, okay?"
Rainbow takes a deep breath. "Okay. Just tell me if you need anything; I'm on it."
Fluttershy's Nature Show, Season Two
Episode Thirty-Three: Eagles, Part Three
Fluttershy positions herself beneath the eagle as Rainbow Dash sets the camera on its tripod, in case she needs to rush in and grab something. "Okay. She says the pain was coming from inside, and that she felt like it was time to lay her eggs. But it's worse now than it's ever been, by a wide margin."
"She's laid eggs before?" asks Rainbow.
"Every two years for the past ten."
"So she would know that it feels different this time..."
The eagle lets out a screech and lefts her tail, and Fluttershy plunges her hands into its cloaca. She roots around in there, rubbing eagerly, but in measured strokes. As her hands find the sore spot, the bird groans louder, until Fluttershy's added pressure is causing too much pain, and her talons very nearly slice Fluttershy's leg open, before her intelligence kicks back in.
"Okay, I've found the problem," notes Fluttershy. "Your egg should be fine, and the baby inside should be healthy. But if you lay it right now, you could injure yourself. Let me just..."
Fluttershy leans forward, pushing elbow-deep into the eagle, who is squawking uncomfortably. She moves a little bit deeper, then pulls her elbow back out a few times, soon showing that her being inside of the eagle has made her arm quite wet. The eagle's talons dig into the nest, locking down tightly to prevent any more chance of accidental scratching.
"Almost there," urges Fluttershy. "You're going to be pushing this first egg out backwards."
The eagle screeches at her.
"I know the risks. In any other scenario, I'd recommend against it, but right now, it's for the best. Remember, I'll be right here to make sure it's safe and secure. You can trust me."
The eagle turns away, then a large, somewhat jagged lump begins to spread her cloaca. Her pink flesh ripples as the bronze egg begins to push into Fluttershy's arms. There's a moment where the eagle relaxes her push, and the jagged barbs start to dig into her skin again, but Fluttershy grabs ahold of it and keeps it from digging in too far. Another big push, and more of the egg comes out, until the whole thing suddenly slips free.
"Holy shit," snorts Rainbow. "No wonder she was so uncomfortable. If those spikes came out backwards, then trying to push those out the right way would have torn her apart! Is that normal?"
Fluttershy shakes her head. "What I suspect happened was that something went wrong while she was creating the shell, and her glands deposited some shells that broke and deformed, but then more of the shell was added to complete the egg. Having them ripple like that is more often a sign of muscular stress, meaning she must have been doing something strenuous when she shouldn't have. Which may not be her fault, because that would have been two weeks ago, and she only went to hunt for food today."
The eagle caws once more, and Fluttershy sets the egg down gently in the nest before digging her hands right back in. "That egg was also particularly large."
The eagle snaps at her.
"Sorry, I should clarify that. A lot of birds tend to lay larger eggs with age, but since she's still pretty young, it's probable that this egg has two yolks. When I say it's a very large egg, I'm not trying to infer that she's old, I'm just commenting on the size of this particular egg. She's in the prime years of her life." She pulls out another egg. This one is equally bronze, but it's very smooth and a fair bit smaller. "This is far more typical of what you can expect."
The second, third and fourth eggs are all the same size, about six decimetres tall and very smooth and shiny. Small copper strands band them. The first is eight decimetres tall, and is clearly covered in jagged edges. The copper strands that band this one are not nearly as consistent, accounting for the jagged nature of the egg.
"There's one more," says Fluttershy, now shoulder deep into the eagle's cloacal vent. "I can feel it, she can feel it, and it's just out of my reach..."
There's silence for a moment, then Rainbow runs in. "I can help!" she calls. "I know what to do!"
"No offense, Rainbow," huffs Fluttershy, "but my arms are a bit longer than yours. I don't think you can reach it."
"Neither do I," answers Rainbow. "Deep breath."
"Deep wha--"
Fluttershy is cut off as Rainbow grabs her by the back of the head and beneath her opposite shoulder, shoving Fluttershy's head and shoulders up into the eagle. Fluttershy struggles for a bit, then stops, then starts again as she starts tapping her hand against Rainbow's wrist. Moments later, Rainbow pulls her out, A slightly smaller egg gripped in her hand, maybe five decimetres long.
"That's the last one," gasps Fluttershy, her face and mane all wet. "That's all of them."
She gently moves the eggs to the center of the nest and makes sure that they're all unharmed and free of damage as the eagle stands up and turns around. Rainbow Dash steps out of the way, but Fluttershy is pushed back down as the bird lowers herself onto the nest, covering her eggs with her breasts. She even nuzzles Fluttershy with her beak, cooing softly.
"You're very welcome," smiles Fluttershy, wriggling her way out as smoothly as she can. "I'm glad we could help you with that."
"Seriously," agreed Rainbow. "You need any help in the future, just ask. We'll totally help. Right, Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy nods, her hair sticking to her face. She then turns to Rainbow. "She's going to have to rest for a bit, and by the time we can do any more, it'll be time to start heading home. Besides, we have the footage we came for. We should head back to Ponyville and let her tend to her eggs in peace."
"Good idea," agrees Rainbow, walking over to her bag. "I packed an extra shirt in case it was hot, and I ended up too sweaty, and I definitely qualify for that now, but your shirt's wetter than I am."
She tosses a shirt to Fluttershy, who removes her top and sets it off to the side, letting her tits hang out as she slips into Rainbow's shirt. It's a form-fitting athletic tank top make for a smaller breast size, so it squeezes her boobs out the side for just a moment until the video stops.
Fluttershy's Nature Show, Season Two
Episode Thirty-Four: Slime, Part One
The camera clicks on to show a partially collapsed building. That is, there's a collapsed wall in the foundation, showing the open basement, with the wooden sill being the only thing holding up the wall, and an awning that completely blocks the front door from opening. As the shot pans across the horizon, the other buildings are faring little better. Windows and walls are broken or missing, some roofs are collapsed, and one building is completely inclined, having slipped into its own basement.
It continues to pan around until it finds Fluttershy on her knees, talking to a squirrel on the remains of a porch. "Okay, it's working now," calls Twilight. "Any luck?"
Fluttershy turns to the camera, smiles, and nods. "She says she's seen the bird we're looking for, and she's willing to go bring him back to see us. We just need to supply something for his nest as payment."
"You're bribing him?"
Fluttershy pulls a colourful ribbon out of her mane. "More like "enabling our messenger to act as a good guest by offering a supplication" than full-on bribery. Like bringing a bottle of wine when you first go over to somepony's house."
"Okay, so, when's going to be here?" asks Twilight as she tracks the squirrel bounding away with the ribbon in its mouth. "And shouldn't we follow her?"
"Oh, absolutely not," insists Fluttershy. "This is a very rare bird, and keeping its nest hidden is crucial to that. I realise that this show is aimed at academics, but this is information for conservationists only. For safety reasons, you understand..."
"Oh, I do."
Fluttershy walks up to a small well and peers down. "Nothing to do but wait. Out of curiosity, do you know what happened to this town?"
"Something about contaminated water, I think," answers Twilight. "I don't remember the exact details, merely that we shouldn't drink the water."
"Sounds fa-AA--!!"
As Fluttershy leans up against the stone wall of the well, the crumbled adhesive that bound it together collapses, and she falls backwards. When Twilight rushes over, some of Fluttershy's feathers are wedged in what remains of a bucket. Just as she reaches the wall and looks down into the inky blackness, there's a splash. "Fluttershy?!"
No answer.
"Fluttershy!!"
"I'm okay!" comes an echo. "I mean, I'm not, but I could be worse!"
"Can you come up?!"
"I hurt my wing! I don't think I can fly out, but I should be able to climb, if you have a rope!"
The camera is set down as Twilight unties the broken bucket. "I'm sending the camera down! It has lights on it, so it should help you see! Can you catch it?!"
"I think so!"
Twilight ties the camera to the rope and clicks on a light on the side, raising the intensity to be ultrabright before lowering it with the winch. It illuminates the well as it goes down, and Fluttershy comes into view, her left wing held all the way out and at a weird angle. She positions herself under the camera, and the screen zooms in on her cleavage as it comes closer and closer.
She turns the camera around, looking at the walls of the small cavern she finds herself in. It's fairly typical. The rocks are moist, the clay is damp, there's not enough sunlight for moss to form. It's just a pool of water underground, a metre and a half deep where she's standing.
"I have the rope!" she calls. "Pull me up!"
The camera stabilises a little bit as it begins to lift away from the water, but it barely goes more than half a metre before the line snaps and Fluttershy is dropped back into the pool. Episode Thirty-Five: Slime, Part Two

Fluttershy sees none of this, as she's not watching the wall behind her. She's far too worried. "I like being alone," she breathes. "It's okay to be on my own. As she begins to weep softly, a tendril starts to form from the fluid, starting from where the rocks are located. Bubbles begin to form around her, some of which are expelled to the surface of the fluid, and some of which are just moved around, almost as if it were trying to show the flow of the liquid through the gelatinous amorphous blob.

Well, maybe not giant, but pretty damn big. Given its distance, it's about three times the size of Fluttershy. Its mandibles are very long and jagged, right beneath its massive compound eyes. Its legs and antennae are exceptionally long and slender, stretching out what would be, if Fluttershy was normal size, three metres each. That is, except for the back two legs. Those are more like four metres, each.

The ant inches closer, though it's only an inch and a half in distance from her already, and clicks its mandibles.
"Oh, much bigger than what's in the bag," smiles Fluttershy slyly. "If you can find a way to bring me into the hive, I can promise you the same thing I just brought you, but a thousand times bigger. Something... that size." She points to a paper plate lying near the trash pile. "That big, and it tastes just like this. Interested?"
The ant shakes visibly, clearly excited at the prospect. It then hisses one last time and walks away.
Fluttershy chuckles and turns back to the camera. "It has been said several times that you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar. And while I'm not sure if that's correct, as I've never had to use either to call for flies, there is something to be said about bribing ants with it. What I've just done is offered up an entire small carrot cake in exchange for the pheromones that would allow me to enter the anthill. Rather, they'd allow me to enter the enthill without being attacked... Anthill. Anthill, not enthill. Eh, we'll fix it in post..."

Episode Forty-One: Ants, Part Two
After a few minutes of waiting in the sand, the ant makes a return, carrying with her a large smattering of oil smeared across her antennae. She hisses as she approaches Fluttershy.
"Oh, how wonderful!" smiles Fluttershy, standing up. She flips her mane back, spreads her feet to be just wider than her shoulders, and holds her arms out to the side. As if she were being frisked, the ant walks up and rubs her antennae all over her legs, arms and torso, coating her in a thin layer of oil. Not so thin that it doesn't make her shirt see-through, and it's made known that she's wearing a green bra.
"Thank you so much," smiles Fluttershy, rubbing herself down for a more even coat. She sniffs at her wrist and hums contentedly. "It smells very woody, like sawdust from cedar and oak, but also kind of sweet, like a maple."
The ant clicks its mandibles a few times.
"Oh, I'm mostly saying that for the camera. It can't smell the scent, so I have to describe it in a way that the viewer can understand."
The ant waves her antennae.
"Well, no, they can't. This is something that is communicated exclusively through vision and sound. They can't taste, smell or feel anything, so I have to describe it to them."
The ant clicks and whistles at her.
"Sure, but that doesn't work for us. We don't have crops. Rather, we have some items called crops, but it's not like yours. The two examples of a crop that come to mind are, first, a food item that is grown in a field, more specifically plants that are edible, and second, an archaic and needlessly cruel piece of leather used to whip horses."
The ant turns her head to the side.
"Oh, gosh... That's a good point. But also, it helps me to prove my point. How could you possibly have context for either leather or horses? You wouldn't know what either of those things are. Unfortunately, I can't really answer those questions without having some kind of context to give you, and not only do I refuse to wear leather, I also don't have any horse pictures or scents or anything to see if you have any familiarity with them. All I can tell you about horses is that they're bigger than that thing."
She indicates to the ant a dumpster larger than a skyscraper in relation to Fluttershy's current size, but would normally sit at a metre and a half tall, a metre thick, and a metre wide, leaving enough room for the wheels and axle. It's the size of a residential trash bin, and that's because it is, but in relation to the size of an ant, that's huge.
"In fact, I'm usually bigger than that," continues Fluttershy. "If I were my normal size, you'd be the size of a horse."

Grabbing her equipment, Fluttershy moves over beside the ant and climbs up onto her back, holding the camera in her arms.
"Okay. Go at whatever speed makes you comfortable."
The ant takes off at a very brisk pace, akin to that of a sprinting horse. However, the ride is much smoother and less bumpy, as the ant has an extra pair of legs and a body shaped like a torpedo. This isn't even the fastest it can go, as evidenced by the fact that it moves faster as it walks up the wall, upside down, and picks up speed as it moves back down the opposite wall. Not just any wall, either; it's a banana peel.
At the other end of the discarded fruit casing, there are more ants going to town on a stack of apple skins that still have large chunks of fruit attached, and carrying the rather large chunks back in a line, making a wide curve around a coffee filter. Despite the fact that there is a candy cane much closer to the anthill, the ants are all staying far away from it.
"I want to take a moment to explain why the ants are avoiding the candy cane," says Fluttershy, turning the camera gradually so that the curved pillar stays in view. "While it is mostly made up of sugar, it's also flavoured with peppermint oil. Anything spicy, bitter or sour is going to deter them. So while they may dig into peppermint sticks if they're desperate, they're less likely to steal spicy food. So, lots of jalapenos and cayenne pepper if you want ants to stay out of your house.
"Of course, if you want ants to come into your house, the easiest way to invite them in is to keep all of the windows open, bake lots of sweets, and leave out bowls of sugarwater. Ants love sweets, especially cakes and cookies. You don't want to seal these if you're trying to draw ants into your home."
As they're about to enter the first chamber, another ant clicks and growls at them.
"Wait, what?"
The ant repeats its message.
"So the queen's not even in there anymore?" Fluttershy sighs. "Well, where is she?"
The ant makes a long series of clicks, then continues on its way.
"Well, thanks for the help, anyway, ma'am." Fluttershy climbs off the ant she was riding and offers up a bit more cake. "For those of you listening, while we were on the way here, the queen died. Luckily, there was another queen ready to take her place."
There's a click from the ant behind her, and Fluttershy crunches some numbers in her head.
"That's twenty-five years. She was alive for just over twenty-five years, which may seem long, as the average ant only lives a year or two, but queens tend to live a lot longer. Twenty-five is pretty high up there, as the highest record we have is twenty-eight years and nine months, but it was pretty clear that her time was coming. So when the old queen died, her chosen successor stepped out for her nuptial flight. If I want to talk to the queen, I'll have to go up there."

Fluttershy takes flight, soaring up towards the top of the dumpster. That's where the new queen has gone, apparently, so that's where Fluttershy needs to go.
She plants the camera in the trash can's plastic lid the same way she'd planted it in the wooden fence post earlier, by raising the support up over her head and slamming it down. She has to try twice because it doesn't stick the first time.
"Okay, so... I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but here goes... Since I can't film myself without the camera sitting on the tripod, and I would be unable to move throughout, Twilight devised this device to make the camera follow me around. It's supposed to handle panning and optical zoom, based on my location. I wanted to wait until we were clear of everything, but if our first test has to be a field test, then so be it."
She spins the camera around twice, then points it up her nose again while she fiddles with something on the bottom, then places it back on the tripod with two more spins in the opposite direction.
"Okay, so the camera can't track me, and the device can't even track me. What the device can track is the little tag, here." She holds up a collar with a gemstone that's glowing softly.
"I actually have never been in a position to talk about my stance on collars for the show," she muses, wrapping it around her neck. "I've interacted with a lot of collared pets over the years, many of whom have their own thoughts on collars, and if I am to advocate for the various animals that have worn them... Collars are okay if done correctly. If they're too tight, they're uncomfortable. If they're too loose, they're just going to fall off. For a pet, wearing a collar is like wearing a belt for a pony. You'll notice it at first, and every time you sit down, you'll feel the buckle digging into your gut, but after a little bit, you'll forget that it's there. If you apply it correctly. She takes a deep breath. "Okay, enough stalling. Let's see if it works, first..."
She moves to the left, and the camera follows her.
"Panning works. I can't test the zoom without a camera operator, and if I had one of those, we wouldn't need to be testing this. So, assuming that, first, the device works, and second, that I set it up correctly, let's go collect this footage that may or may not be usable."
As she flies off, the camera turns to follow her, and to Twilight's credit, it even successfully zooms in with every fifty metres or so that she travels, ensuring that she doesn't just turn into a speck in the distance. Due to the angle at which she's flying, it's clear that she's once more forgotten her panties.
"Can you still hear me?" she asks. Her voice is a little bit staticky, as if she's broadcasting over a radio. "I don't expect you to answer. That would be silly. Can you see me? I'll wave."
She turns around and waves her hands over her head. It's a little blurry at this distance, but it's still easy enough to see what she does and hear what she's saying.
Suddenly, a buzz comes over the radio as an ant with wings approaches her. She barely manages half of a "hello" before grunting as she's battered with his antennae and legs.
"Exc-cuse me," she grunts. "This is--"
The image is clear enough that it captures some kind of appendage pops out of his abdomen. With a hard sting upward, it punches right into her, which she confirms with a yelp and a whimper.
His legs hold hers in place as he bucks his abdomen a few times, then rips away from her, flying down out of the frame. Now able to move her arms and legs again, Fluttershy spins around, looking for something. As she does, she moves past the threshold where the next level of optical zoom is applied, and everything comes into better focus, too.
"We're going to have to cut this part out," she sighs. "We can't show th--"
She's interrupted as she's grabbed again, this time from behind. The male ant holds her still, smacks her face with his antennae, and the protrusion pops out of his abdomen. It's a little clear tube with three triangular tips that form a cone. As it thrusts up into her pussy the first time, she yelps again. I'm going to have to tell Twilight to remove all of that." She taps on the lens. "You hear me, Twilight? Cut all of that. You can only use it to confirm whether your device is working right, and then you throw it out."
There's a buzzing noise, dissimilar to that of the various males, approaching her from the left of the frame. It comes to a sudden stop as Fluttershy turns to face it.
"You must be the new queen," she chuckles nervously. "It seems I was mistaken for you. I had some pheromones from your mother. I have... Here." She reached into her bag and pulled out some cake. "I have a gift for you, and quite a phew spermatophores that I should give back..."

Episode Forty-Three: Species Unknown, Part One
This video starts off with speech in some unknown language, in an unknown location, but at a known time; it is night. Looking through the window, stars cover the night sky; far more than usual. Many that are often seen as dim are much brighter in this shot. As the camera turns, the first thing to come into view is the metal framework, indicating that the starry view was through a window. A sideways-facing window...
As the camera turns and moves down a hallway with a grated floor, more garbled speech comes through, and the sound of something rigid clacking against the grates with every step. Occasionally, a hand flashes across the bottom-right corner of the screen, and something definitely looks wrong about it, but it passes too quickly to say what it is.
The camera turns toward a door, and the hand comes into view again. It only has two fingers and a thumb, and is covered in tiny plates. It's unclear whether or not this is a glove, but from the structure of the joints as it presses a button, this is not a deformed hand. That's just how it's supposed to be shaped.
The door opens, and the camera moves into the room. Inside are a great many creatures, none of which have been seen on Equestria, locked in big glass boxes, like cells in a prison. None, except for the one that the camera stops and turns to face, rather than walking right past it.
The creature in this cell is either the same one that Fluttershy had encountered during the previous filming; the one that ate the farmer's porch, or just something ridiculously similar. It's not hard to imagine that it's the same species, and quite frankly, it's not even that hard to imagine that it's one of the very creatures that had laid eggs inside of her.
The creature behind the lens garbles its speech at the creature in the box, and the creature in the box clicks and growls back. This carries on for a good five minutes, with the creature in the box growing very heated and trying to scratch at the barrier between them. All the while, the creature behind the camera stays calm and still, neither swinging its hands nor raising its voice.
After their conversation, there's something familiar brought forth: a clipboard with a piece of paper attached. The text is entirely illegible, though that tracks with the lack of clear language. It's entirely possible that the printed text, as well as the hastily-scrawled stuff being added as the camera turns and walks away, is in whatever alphabet is being used by the creature speaking.
The button to open the door takes several seconds to work this time, as the camera looks up at another camera mounted to the wall. Once the door opens, the view returns to the window, and a quick turn shows a view of Equestria from space.
There's a garbled call from behind, and the camera turns to see a very odd-looking creature. Starting with the head, it's triangular, with two points at the top and one at the bottom, with five eyes. One in the center, two beneath it, and one in the middle of either bottom edge. The bottom tip is covered in several tentacles that vibrate as it speaks.
Its arms are very similar to humanoid arms, with an extra appendage starting at the elbow. currently, it's folded up along the biceps, so its exact purpose is unclear. However, it does have a wrinkly fold of skin trailing down from there to another set of appendages starting at its knees. Its legs are digitigrade, and like its hands, have two main digits, as well as an accessory dewclaw in the back. Behind that, a long, slender tail coils around, tapering down to the tip like a whip.
The clipboard is handed over and inspected, then placed in a hanging box on the wall. The two talk for a bit, and then begin making their way to a different room, where a screen with a map indicates a beacon right where Ponyville would be, if the towns were marked. The discussion continues, with the one not holding the camera pointing at the beacon and waving their hand, as if discussing a plan of action. The holder of the camera is given a small box with a screen and a bunch of buttons, another small box which, upon pushing a small button on the side, folds out into a pistol, and then back again, and a cartridge that slides up into the pistol.
Now fully armed, the camera operator steps into a small pod. The doors close, and the pod just starts falling. As the pod enters Equus's atmosphere, St. Elmo's Fire forms across the window to the pod, starting strong, but diminishing as the descent slows over the Everfree forest, until the pod comes to an almost gentle stop at ground level.
The darkness that covers the window, paired with the dim lights inside the pod, combine to form a mirror image of the creature holding the camera. It's almost exactly the same as the creature that took the clipboard, but it's wearing something on its head with elastic straps. It's revealed to be the camera as it applies a set of protective goggles, as well as a mask over the tentacles that make up its mouth, presumably to respire whatever it breathes that isn't oxygen.
Finally, the pod opens with a hiss, then closes as the creature steps out. It puts its hands out in front of itself, interlocks its fingers with its palms facing away, and pushes out. A little more than a dozen small pops are heard as the joints click into place before it takes off at a light jog.
It takes a few minutes, but soon, it reaches the edge of the forest and peers out into Ponyville. It looks at the town for a few minutes, then checks the box with the screen. The image is updated with a satellite view. A small blue arrow stands at the edge of the forest, and not too far away, a blue circle blinks over a cottage. Turning towards the cottage until the arrow is pointing at the dot, the camera looks up, and there sits Fluttershy's home.

"Okay, it's ready!" calls Twilight. "We're rolling."
As the camera pans up to Fluttershy, the pegasus looks just a little bit unsure. "You said that last time, too. Did you make sure there was film in the camera this time?"
"Fluttershy, sweetie, this is a digital camera. It doesn't use film, it uses digital data stored on a Secure Digital Card."

"It's working now," grunts Twilight. "Trust me."

The camera lowers a bit. "You probably scared them. They're a skittish bunch. Here, let me go talk to them myself, and we'll take it from there. Why don't you check to make sure the recording is working while I bring them back over?"
The screen goes black for a few seconds, then clicks back on in a new position.
"Are we rolling?" asks Fluttershy.
"We are rolling," answers Twilight. "Our earlier discussion is even deleted, so nopony's going to know what was said."

It's the closest-known relative of the Timberwolf, despite looking almost nothing alike. Only a few creatures, just shy of a dozen, can transform into trees like this. This is, of course, not counting the countless subspecies of them. Last season, we looked at all kinds of timberwolves, with the vast majority being oak and maple. We did see some juniper timberwolves, though, and those are the ones that share the most in common with the cerpress."
The cerpress tries to push against Fluttershy, not trying to move her out of the way, just trying to press himself against her. He lets out a loud bellow that causes Fluttershy to blush.
"What'd he say?" asks Twilight.

The deer vocalises again, and Fluttershy giggles. "Unlike their wolf-like cousins, the cerpress are very docile and not at all aggressive. Most injuries related to them are from ponies trying to fell trees and swinging at them with axes."
"Is that really common?"
"More often than not, they'll jump out of the way, but in the worst ones, it's usually just a swift kick. The greatest damage they can do is with their antlers, but that's almost always when under clear attack, and not just a passive walk-up."
As the deer vocalises once more, Fluttershy's chest starts heaving as her face turns red, and the cerpress tries to pull her in closer, wrapping one rooty, mossy hoof around one of her legs, almost like a hug.
"Uh..." Fluttershy moans, looking away from the camera. "U-unlike most d-deer, they don't... Th-they don't shed their antlers for winter. If they tried to blend into their surroundings, they'd..."
"Are you alright?" asks Twilight. "You seem to be having some issues."
"I'm f-fine," she answers, holding up her hand. "I just... Can you bring me some water?"
"The water's all in the cooler, back at the cart. That's a ten minute walk there, and another ten minutes back. That's going to be twenty minutes."
Fluttershy shifts in place. "I guess I ca-- I can keep going."
A sigh is heard from behind the camera. "I can leave the camera here so I won't have to carry the equipment. I'll just stop the recording."
The picture suddenly becomes blurry, then returns to focus on Fluttershy's face.
"Don't strain yourself, now," calls Fluttershy after her. "We have a whole week out here."
A minute or so later, the cerpress pushes Fluttershy forward, flipping up her skirt. She's not wearing any panties. He bleats out one last time as he climbs on top of her.
"Yeah, I heard you the first time," she answers back. "You smell nice, too."

Episode Three: Cerpress, Part Three
"--ause of that."
"Twilight, it's rude to do that right in front of them. We have oil lamps and we have heated sleeping bags. We'll be fine."
"Yeah, but how are we supposed to heat up our food without a fire?"
Fluttershy shrugs as she comes into frame, sideways. "I'm a vegetarian. Everything I packed is supposed to be eaten cold."
The camera tilts upright as Twilight's face covers everything. "I brought stuff for ratatouille. How am I supposed to enjoy stewed vegetables if I can't stew them?"
Fluttershy holds up her thermos in the background. "I have gazpacho. I'm perfectly willing to share."
"That's not the point. All we would need is a bit of firewood."
"In front of creatures that are made of wood. Wouldn't you be insulted if somepony set your grandfather on fire?"
The video and audio cut out and cut back in to Twilight and Fluttershy splitting a thermos of soup around a lantern. The only sound now is the chirping of crickets and the crunch of the celery and bell peppers. It then cuts out and cuts back in to the two of them crawling into their tents silently.
When it cuts back in, however, there's a new bush that wasn't there before. It just sits there for a moment, then it lifts up to show that the branches are actually the antlers of another cerpress. slowly, he stands up and sniffs the air, working his nose first into Twilight's tent, then, shaking his head, moves over to Fluttershy's. He sticks his whole head in the tent, then the video cuts out again.
When it cuts back in, two more cerpress are gathered around the tent, which has now been ripped open. Tatters of it are stuck to the antlers of the one that had shoved his head into her tent, and were he wearing pants, he'd be pitching a tent of his own with how rigid his tent pole is. He has nudged Fluttershy's skirt out of the way, and is now licking between her legs.
The other two are sniffing around her sleeping form, specifically her face and breasts. The one sniffing around her breasts is nudging her shirt up out of the way, and before too long, they flop free. Fluttershy is still asleep, but she's beginning to stir. As the cervine clamps down on one of her tits, she gasps as the video cuts out.
It cuts back in with her up on her knees, being railed from both ends by the bucks. The one that was sniffing her face is walking around in circles behind her, seemingly looking for an opening that the other two haven't already filled. The two of them have her by the hips and shoulders, their antlers interlocked as they buck their hips forward and back, stuffing themselves into Fluttershy's warm, wet holes over and over again. Finally, the first one to approach slams down her throat, pushing so hard that his front legs, still hooked around her shoulders, lift her hands up off the ground. She audibly gags, just slightly louder than the grunting and groaning of the buck filling her.
As the camera cuts out and back in again, Fluttershy is again being spitroasted, but by two completely different cerpresses. The first one that tore up her tent was a Monterey Cerpress, then the next two were Italian Cerpresses. Now a Leyland Cerpress is wedged up between her knees while the one that had been walking around her previously is probing her throat. And to make matters worse, she is now upside-down, with only her feet touching the ground. She's almost entirely held upright by the bucks. And her night isn't over, either, as a Bhutan Cerpress bounds into frame from behind some trees just as the camera cuts out again.
Fluttershy is back on her knees in the next shot, grunting and whimpering as she's pinned down by the Bhutan Cerpress that's drilling into her arse. He seems to be the only one still around, as none of the others are in frame at the time. Fluttershy is, at this point, covered in so many fluids that the sound of the various slats of bark slamming against her arsecheeks is quite audible.
As the camera cuts ahead, he's still there, panting heavily. Fluttershy is being crushed between the ground and his chest, barely able to keep herself upright. His grunts are growing deeper and deeper until he slams his hips forward, growling and squeezing her. When he finally calms down, he lifts up off of her, and as he pulls out, a fountain of golden brown fluid gushes out of her before she flops to the ground, exhausted.
The feed cuts again to him lying next to her, licking her clean. Every so often, he returns to her face, letting what he licked up drip down into her mouth. What she doesn't catch drips across her lips, and she slurps it up dutifully.
The camera cuts again, and she's pulled her skirt and shirt back down. She's still covered in sticky strips of bark, and the scaly green buds from their leaves. The Bhutan that finished her off for the night is lying next to her, licking at her neck.
"You're really muscular," Fluttershy giggles, running her hand over his neck. "I bet all the does melt before you."
He grunts softly, nipping at the soft skin under her neck.
"Well, they should. You deserve it."
He grunts again, knocking her chin up in the process.
"Oh, you're not that old. Plus, you've just proven that you have more than twice the stamina of those younger ones. And with how pent up you were, I can safely presume that you have a lot more to give. Why, I think you could almost start a whole new herd if only those does would believe in you."
He bleats.
"Yeah, that figures. He was bullying me, too. Nevertheless, we're going to find a way to help you. You're one of the--"
The video cuts to the two of them lying on the ground. Fluttershy is asleep with the Cerpress's head resting on top of her. If the angle had changed, it would be difficult to find Fluttershy, because she is almost completely hidden by the bush her lover has transformed into. And while the camera cuts a few more times, the only notable change is a raccoon stealing her cauliflower about an hour before dawn.
Fluttershy's Nature Show, Season Two
Episode Nineteen: Lions, Part One
"So, lemme see if Ah have this straight," says Applejack from behind the camera. "Y'all are goin' around takin' movin' pitchers of these here animals, an' y'all asked fer me; the least tech-savvy pony of the group, ta handle the technical shit?"
"Please don't swear," sighs Fluttershy. "Twilight's going to have to cut that out."
"Why did y'all pick me, though?"
Fluttershy lowers her head. "Can I be honest with you, Applejack?"
"A' course..."
"I actually wasn't going to ask you, because I was sure you'd say no."
"Really?"
"I was kind of hoping, actually. That way, we could reschedule, and I could take a bit of time to relax from all of this travelling..."
"Why didn't ya say so before we came all the way out here ta the savannah?"
"Because you already said you'd do it."
Applejack takes a long sigh. "Look, Ah'm sorry, alright? Ah didn't know ya was in need of a break. But here, look at it from mah point a' view: If ya finish up here real fast, y'all can take a break real soon. Y'all can relax when we're done."
"I know," sighs Fluttershy. "But at the same time, I don't want to slack on the details. I want to do a good job, I just... Need a break."
"Well, we'll just have to see to it that ya have the time ta take one, won't we?"
Fluttershy smiles back at Applejack. "Hopefully, it won't be that difficult to maintain that camera."
"Only one way ta' find out."
They round a corner and find a cave under a very large rock. It's a very large cave, but not very deep. It only goes a few metres in, but the opening is more than three times as wide. Inside the cave, as well as on top of the flat rock that makes up the top of it, and even scattered around in the dirt and grass under the shade of a few trees, are nearly two dozen lions. One of them is even in a jackalberry branch. Every single one turns to them as they come into view, and a few begin to pad closer.
"Uh... Fluttershy?"
"Yes, Applejack, we're here to talk about lions."
"Just checkin'. Ya know what yer doin', right?"
"I do. Is that camera on?"
"On and filming."
Fluttershy approaches them with her hand out, and one of the approaching lionesses sniffs it, then presses her head into Fluttershy's palm.
"I've just established a rapport with this pride, and we should be safe to film. Just make sure you don't step on any paws or tails with your boots, and we should be fine."
The camera moves slowly and deliberately, following Fluttershy toward the cave. There are a few growls by the lionesses, but it does not escalate to biting or scratching.
Inside the cave, there are a few more lionesses, mostly looking after cubs. In addition, a single male lion is lounging in the shade.
"Now, hold on..." says Applejack. "Ah've seen those fancy talkin' pictures. Ain't lions' manes s'pos'ta be red?"
"They can be, sometimes," nods Fluttershy. "Usually, that's an indicator of average males. The younger ones typically have yellow manes, as the hair grows out before it starts changing colour. Typically, the more powerful and virile males will have dark brown manes. It takes a very special kind of lion to have a black mane."
Fluttershy runs her hands through the lion's mane. It's very deep and fluffy. It's so big that her elbow almost disappears into it. "Look at that!" she chuckles. "Isn't that fun to see? Look how voluminous his mane is!"
"Ah'm more concerned about the voraciousness of his appetite," admits Applejack. "Don't lions hunt things like us?"
"Oh, don't be silly," smiles Fluttershy. "It's the lionesses that do most of the hunting. Big guy like this with his big black mane, he'd not make it as a hunter. But the girls are mostly slender and the same colour as the grass. The lionesses do most of the hunting."
"So... What does the lion actually do?"
"Mostly, he just fights off other males that try to encroach on his pride. He also raises his cubs and marks the area with his scent to make sure that every other creature in the area knows who this land belongs to."
"Scent marking? Really?"
Fluttershy nods enthusiastically. "It happens with more than just lions. Dogs are known to do it, as well. And other animals, too."
"Like the polecat."
Fluttershy furrows her brow. "Well, kind of. They have a different thing going. They just emit their musk through their scent glands."
"You sure? Bic Mac's been sprayed by one before; had ta take a bath in tamater juice and wasn't allowed in the house fer a week."
Fluttershy nods, her face now relaxing into realisation. "You're talking about a skunk."
"Yeah, a polecat."
"Well, actually, the polecat is more akin to a ferret, weasel or stoat. They're mustelids. Skunks are not, though they aren't that far off. They were previously thought to be of the same family, but they have different enough structure to justify separation."
"Thought y'all said they was close enough? The structure can't be that different if no one could tell the difference ages ago."
Fluttershy shrugs. "In the same way that a house and a barn are constructed the same way."
There's a pause, then Applejack shakes the camera a bit. "Ah see yer point. But what does this have to do with this here cat?"
Fluttershy blinks a few times, staring into the camera with no expression. "I honestly don't remember. I don't know what point I was trying to make, there."
"Ya lost the forest for the trees..."
"Yeah, I'm sorry. Here, I'm supposed to be teaching you about lions, and I just go off and start telling you about stoats and martens. I'm really sorry."
"It's alright. By me, anyways. Ah'm sure yer fans won't mind, either."
"They might," breathes Fluttershy. "We sold a lot of tapes. We're probably going to sell a lot more. And I really don't want to disappoint them by showing them lions while talking about completely unrelated animals."
"Well, Ah just so happen to have a solution."
"Oh? What's that?"
"How's about we talk about this here lion?"

Episode Twenty: Lions, Part Two
Fluttershy clears her throat. "So, lions are carnivorous. That means that they eat meat. Protein is very important for their diets. If they could survive on plants, that would be great, but I'm not going to condemn them because of the configuration of their stomach. This particular pride, I've learned, practices ethical hunting, mostly dealing in removing problematic prey."
"What's that mean?" asks Applejack. "What makes prey "problematic?""
"Do you remember the swarm of vampire fruit bats that came to your orchard, and you wanted them removed?"
"And you wanted 'em saved, and it ended up causin' ya ta go all batty, an' Ah had ta give up mah prized apple just ta make sure ya came back safely. How many times do Ah hafta apologise fer that?"
Fluttershy waves her hands. "I'm not looking for an apology. I'm just asking if you remember."
"Well, Ah do."
"So, imagine that scenario, but instead of drinking out your apples and replanting the seeds, imagine that they were ripping the trees out of the ground and making wide swaths of your orchard unusable."
"Ye'r talkin' 'bout the beavers, now."
"Okay, bad example, because the beavers help keep the area irrigated and prevent erosion, but if the beavers didn't provide water for your crops, and instead just destroyed them with no intention of using them for food or shelter, then they would be problematic. In this case, rhinos that are knocking down trees, hippos that are attacking other creatures, warthogs that are removing foliage for no good reason, that kind of thing."
"Alright. So how do they know which animals are bein' problematic?"
"They have feelers out in the herds. If an antelope was to come up to them and proclaim that another was causing unrest, the lionesses would prepare to hunt, and the one that was causing the most problems would be handicapped so that they'd fall behind. Or they'd be pointed out if it's from a different herd."
"And that just accounts for all of their food?"
"Well, most of it, anyway. They do have to eat, after all, and if all is at peace, you can't just... stop the lions from eating. And of course, there's always a need for peace to be kept at the watering hole."
"Watering hole..." Applejack takes a deep breath. "That sounds really good right about now. It's real hot out here."
"That's why a lot of the cubs are here in the cave. It's out of the sunlight."
"Any chance somepony like me can use that there waterin' hole? Ah'm plum parched."
Fluttershy takes her canteen from her pack and offers it to Applejack. "Fill mine, too, while you're out?"
"Ah don't even know where it is."
Fluttershy beckons over a lioness. "Would you show her the watering hole? Please and thank you."
"Ye'r not comin'?"
"It's like you said, Applejack; The sooner we finish, the sooner I can take my break. I can handle being alone with a few lions for a minute."
The camera jostles for a moment, then comes to rest as the lion watches Applejack leave the cave. Fluttershy closes up her pack at the same time, and when the lion's gaze intersects with her bent hips, his ears perk up, and he feels the need to stand.
He saunters over to her, his nose twitching as he goes. Just as Fluttershy is about to stand, he rears up, placing a paw on her shoulder and pushing her back down.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
He leans down over top of her, growling softly against her neck.
"Must you? I'm very tired..."
He growls at her again.
"That's not what I meant, and you know it." She sighs. "Fine. Just make it quick."
He moves into a slightly better position, kicking her knees open a bit more. His dick begins to slip out of its sheathe, and while it's fairly short, it's also covered in keratinous barbs that make it look, and presumably feel, much larger. It doesn't stay visible for long, though, as it swiftly disappears into Fluttershy's slit.
Almost all at once, yowling can be heard from the other lionesses, as they gather around the duo and stare. Some are vocalising the entire time, stopping only to take breaths, others are just staring, others crouch down as if they're about to pounce.
And yet, one roar from the male silences them all, at least for the moment.
He begins to buck his hips, prompting small, delicate moans from Fluttershy. She's quite enamored with his movements, shuddering as he thrusts, but unable to move as he has her pinned. She is trapped beneath his paws.
As he starts to buck faster, he lowers his head to Fluttershy's shoulder and bites down on her, causing her to let out a yelp. Because his mouth is now full, his breath can be heard as the air rushes between his lips and Fluttershy's shoulder, and his previously unheard grunting and panting are now loud enough for the entire cave to hear.
Soon, though, he stops, pressing his hips against hers. It's already over, as his balls clench up and he starts pumping his sperm into her.
"Thank you for at least making it fast," Fluttershy pants. "Can you let me up, now that you're satisfied?"
As she starts to push up with her hands, he pins her back down, pulling his hips back and starting to thrust all over again, much to the chagrin of the lionesses. They start yowling again, but the male roars once more. It's louder, but less effective, as the lionesses begin to circle around the duo.
Before he can bite down on Fluttershy's shoulder again, a good look at it through the camera reveals that there's no blood, meaning her skin has not been punctured, but it has left a fair few welts. He hadn't so much bitten her as much as he had used his teeth to grab her and pin her down.
For her part, Fluttershy stays down. He has her between his teeth and under his claws. She had been petting him just minutes ago, and gushing about how fluffy and soft he was, and now he's on top of her, pressing his entire weight between her shoulders. She isn't going anywhere until he's done.

Episode Thirty-Seven: Hippogriffs, Part One
Twilight looks into the camera as it clicks on. As she steps back, it's revealed that she's standing in Fluttershy's house. "Are you sure you don't want me around for this?" she asks.
"Of course I want you around," answers Fluttershy as the feed switches to the kitchen. "But he mentioned that he doesn't want ponies staring at him the whole time he's here, as it makes him feel very uncomfortable. That's a sentiment that I understand fully."
"Yeah, but it's just going to be the three of us."
"And the fifty thousand ponies watching the tapes," reminds Fluttershy as she walks into the living room. "I struggled with that a lot, too. That's why it took so long for me to agree to doing this again."
"And yet, here you are."
"That's because my desire to help animals is greater than my fear of performing. And the only reason I have the strength to move past that is because I can put my trust in you to make sure that anything embarrassing or untoward is cut out. Like this conversation, for example."
Twilight nods. "Fair enough. I'll leave you two alone, then. The cameras are on, and set to record in whichever room is seeing the most activity."
"Except the toilet, right?"
Twilight scoffs. "What kind of pony do you think I am? Of course I put one in your lavatory!"
"Twilight!"
"Oh, don't worry. It faces the bathtub. It's exclusively there to show the transformation into his aquatic form. If you don't want it shown, you can just draw the curtain. Or we can find a hippogriff that's less shy. It's not like we can't use a different hippogriff."
"Please don't say to his face that we're "using him...""
There's a knock at the door, and as Twilight moves to the other side of the room, the view switches to the door. Twilight opens it, and a very large hippogriff is standing outside. He keeps his head very low as he looks up at her. "Mistress Fluttershy?"
Twilight furrows her eyebrows and turns around. "Fluttershy, it's for you."
"It is my house," reasons Fluttershy, "and I was expecting company..."
Twilight steps out of the way and waves him in. He's walking on all four legs as he does, keeping himself low.
"I thought most hippogriffs were standing upright these days?" asks Twilight.
"Twilight, you're setting off his anxiety."
"T-Twilight?" The hippogriff's eyes widen and turn watery before he throws himself at the floor in front of her. "Forgive me for being so rude! I didn't know I was talking to a princess! Please don't send me away!"
Twilight glances sideways off camera, and the feed cuts to where Fluttershy is sitting, waving with her hands for Twilight to leave.
The camera cuts back to Twilight backing away towards the door. "I leave you in the care of Fluttershy. It is her decision whether or not to send you away."
As the door closes, the camera moves back to Fluttrshy, who stands and walks over to her guest, offering him a hand. "Would you care to come in and sit down?"
With a trembling claw, he takes her hand and stands up, moving over to the couch as directed, but sitting down in front of it, rather than on it.
"Why don't you come up?" asks Fluttershy.
"I have not been invited, mistress," he answers.
"That was an invitation," she says, patting the cushion next to her. "Come on up."
He climbs up, first with his front claws and then with his back hooves. He does not sit, but lies down with his beak on Fluttershy's leg. As if on instinct, she starts petting him, and his tail begins to wag before she stops and realises what she's doing.
"You do realise that you're not a dog, right?"
"I do, mistress."
"I've asked you in my letters to stop referring to me as "mistress." You can feel comfortable with me."
"I am comfortable, mistress."
Fluttershy sighs. "Okay. You can sit like that if it makes you feel comfortable."
He looks up at her. "Does this make you uncomfortable, mistress?"
"A little bit..."
"I'm so sorry, mistress!" He leaps to the floor and bows to her. "Please don't send me away!"
Fluttershy places her hand on his head and then lifts his chin. "You seem a little bit high-strung. Is everything okay with you?"
"I've upset you, mistress," he winces. "Please, forgive me!"
Fluttershy rubs her face, then sighs. "It's fine," she finally answers. "If it will make you feel better, you can continue to call me mistress."
"Oh, thank you!" He kisses her feet. "Thank you so much, mistress Fluttershy!"
She's still visibly bothered by it, but she seems less bothered at the prospect of being called "mistress" than he is at not being allowed to refer to her as such.
"I think you need to relax a bit before we begin our talk. Why don't you go lie down, and I'll make some food for you, hm?"
The hippogriff wags his tail and smiles up at her. "Oh, yes, mistress. Where would you like me to wait?"
Fluttershy points to the top of the stairs. "My bed is very comfortable, and surrounded by things that are designed to be calming and comforting. You can rest there for a bit to calm your nerves."
"Oh, thank you, mistress!" he kisses her foot once more, and then bolts up the stairs, activating the camera. As it records the whole room, it notes him just standing in the door, then snaps to Fluttershy in the kitchen. She starts chopping up vegetables and moving around her kitchen, preparing a small pan to sauté some root veggies with herbs. Some carrots, a few turnips, and two different varieties of radishes.
As she sits down in a chair to let them cook on their own for a minute or two, the camera flips again. The hippogriff is lying on her bed, her panties in one claw and his balls in the other, rubbing himself and moaning as he holds the cloth against his face. How he found himself in that position is unclear, as he must have moved from the door, but he would have had to move less than Fluttershy in order to avoid setting off the motion sensor that activated the camera. However he did it, he must have been very fluid with his movements.
