One most unfortunate Changeling is being summoned, by her Queen: Chrysalis, for a clandestine mission. (Will she succeed, will the Queen be satisfied?)

The Changeling is sent away in secret, with all due haste. (There is no escaping, what she had been instructed to perform, more than there is any escaping the consequences of her mission.)

Escaping the hive, had never been the issue, more than reaching the intended destination: Ponyville ever had been. (Even if the village had been one of the most dangerous places a Changeling could set hoof in. {No time to fear, fear has no place here; the mission is critical, even if she does not know why she had been sent in the first place.})

No report is expected, she does not even need to bother trying to get back from her mission. (How ominous. {and foreboding, of ill fortunes yet beyond the horizon!})

Going to Ponyville should have been fun.. Going to Ponyville is supposed to be fun.. Going to Ponyville will be fun.

As expected, the poor Changeling does arrive, at Ponyville; only to step into the library, she had been instructed to find. (She still is wearing the Horn Ring.)

If her life had been forfeit, she could as well make the most of her time; enjoying herself, as she is planning the next move. (She is not found, wanting.) Yet, she is finding a Purple Pony! (Twilight Sparkle)

What comes next, is the story she could not report back.
