This Fanfiction is based after the third Spyro Game "Year of the dragon", and I may include a few elements from The Legend of Spyro. It is also set before the season 3 finale and Discords reformation.

Through a sudden malfunction in the Professors superportal, Spyro is sucked into a new world, of which is... MARS! Just kidding, it's Equestria, otherwise it wouldn't be on this site.

Upon finding out that he was summoned there by Twilight Sparkle in order to stop a black dragon from terrorizing Equestria, Spyro figures this will be another world saving adventure. However, there will be surprises to him, as an old foe reveals to him something tragic.

By the way, I don't care what you "Original Spyro", "Legend of Spyro", or "Skylanders Spyro" fantards say, so leave the flame wars out of the comments, because I will either dismiss you as trolls or butt-hurt fantards.

There will be sad elements later in the story, be prepared.
