Chapters I'm flying. I've always loved it. The wind under my wings and in my hair it's just wonderful.
"Rainbow Dash! What do you think your doing? Using your wings on school grounds is extremely prohibited." I'm so dead.
When I come to a holt I know I'm getting after school detention but I won't show up anyway it's way to boring. I guess that's the point but still why would I show up to something that the point is to be boring? Seriously I wouldn't. "Sorry coach I guess the need to actually go somewhere or do something just got to me." That comment has a follow of snickers from the rest of the class and a huge glare from the coach.
"Very funny Miss Dash now give me 20 laps no wings. GO NOW!!!!!!" I grunt than take off around the track. 20 laps is nothing if I use my wings but is a lot harder when I don't have their help. When I come to a finish a teacher walks out with someone else behind her. A new girl. I can tell because I've never seen her before. She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen.
"Coach this is your new student, she starts to day." The teacher flip through her collection of papers on a clip board in her left hand. "Her helper is 'ahem' Miss Rainbow Dash." Me!!! Oh my gosh, this is awesome. Being a helper means you have every class single class with that person which means I get to hang out all day with her. "Miss Dash please introduce your self."
I step forward, "Hey my names Rainbow Dash but you can call me Rainbow. What's your name?" She stares at me getting a good look up and down then smiles.
"Nice to meet ya'll my names Applejack, you can call meh AJ though." That is the cutest ascent EVER!!!! She turns to the coach. "Um, sir do I go change?"
"Yes you should." She just stand their. "Well what are you waiting for go!"
"Ah don't no where to go." She says deadpan. He stares at her surprised for a second than gets it.
"Miss Dash show her where the locker rooms are." I hit myself in the forehead because I new she didn't know and because the coach can be so stupid sometimes.
"Come on AJ their over here." I say walking out the door from the gym and towards the locker room. "Do you even have anything to change into?" I ask when we get inside.
She stares at me completely confused for a second then shakes her head no. "Is there anything ah can use?"
"I might have something." I smile at her, then walk over to my locker and pull out a small shirt that only really covers up your top half leaving your belly showing and some boys gym shorts. "You fine with these?"
"Sure as sugar are, thanks sugar cube." She takes them from me and then just looks at me. "Are you just going to stand there or are you going to turn around so I can change?"
"Oh sorry. Hehe." I turn around wait for about 30 seconds until there's a tap on my shoulder saying I can turn around to face her. "Wow!" Is all I can get out.
"Do I look ok Rainbow?" She looks better then ok. Her long blonde hair is in a pony tail down on shoulder but with a low band. The white shirt looks awesome on her muscular frame and the shorts falling just below her knees are just right to give her a cute Tom boy look.
"No, you look awesome." I say with a smile and only get a smile in return.
"Thanks but we should probably be getting back. Oh, by the way, I like your wings." She says with a wink then walks off. I look back and my wings are completely extended to full hight. I sigh and bring them back down. I hope she doesn't no what that means.
At lunch...
"Hey AJ you want to eat with us cool kids?"
She looks so confused. "Us cool kids? Are ya'll sayin that ya a 'cool kid'?"
"Yeah. I'm the most popular kid in school. What you've been spending the whole day with me and you didn't even notice?" She blushes and shakes her head no. SO CUTE!!!!
When we get my lunch table all my friends look at her in confusion.
"Who's this darling?" Asks Rarity a fashionista. Her curl purple hair as perfectly kept as usual. And blinking her dark blue eyes to show the over done mascara on her eye lashes and the light blue make up on her eye lids.
"Oh um, this is Applejack but... You can call her AJ."
"Oh um, nice to meet you." In a voice barely above a whisper my old friend Fluttershy. She, like me, has wings but she's not as powerful a flyer. She spends most of her time with animals. And to prove her shyness she just hides behind her light pink hair. Showing only one turquoises eye peeking out.
"OOOOOH new friend! You know what we should throw her a PARTY!!!" Pinkie pie says somehow hopping up and down while sitting at the same time. Her neon pink mess of hair moving around with her and her bright blue eyes scanning up and down AJ while her went on and on about her party.
"Oh how wonderful would you like to have a seat? Oh, how rude of us I'm Twilight Sparkle. This is Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie." She says while pointing around the table. "I'm guessing you already know Dash?"
"Well duh why wouldn't she I just introduced her to you."
Twilight glares at me then asked. "So, AJ, how'd you meet Dash?"
"Rainbows apparently mah helper. And ah think can talk for mah self." She says with a evil grin and a small glare.
"Oh, darling I just love your accent. Where are you from?" Rarity asks looking more interested then ever on my new friend.
"Oh um, ah use ta live out on the apple orchard out side a town. I moved to manhattan an ah just came home to start school."
"Manhattan! Oh just tell me everything." She's says staring creepily at her.
"Well somethin happened on the farm so ah thought ah I should have a fresh start somewhere else. Ah went to manhattan to live with mah aunt and uncle orange. One day ah was feelin extra home sick so when ah was lookin out the window towards home ah saw a beautiful rainbow point straight to it. Ah packed my stuff and was planin on leavin but ah decided to stay one more year to help out the Oranges." She takes a big breath and starts up again. "When ah do get home ah know it's where ah'm ment to be. Then right then and there this little sucker shows up and ah couldn't be more right or happy." She finishes with a smile. "What do ya'lls look like?" She shows us her wrist where her cutie mark is and three shiny apples are sitting there.
"Apples like Applejack." I say all confident like but I still haven't taken my eyes off her.
"Rainbow darling control your wings." Only Fluttershy and possibly Twilight know what that means. Fluttershy giggles.
"Fluttershy not funny." I say with a grown.
"Hey Rainbow?"
"Yeah AJ?" Please don't ask what it means. Please oh please.
"What does that even mean? Can't ya control those wings of yours?" Oh, darn it she asked. Oh god I'm blushing.
Fluttershy explodes into a quiet laughter will I glare at her. "Agh, Fluttershy this is so not funny!"
"So Rainbow what it mean?"
"I... I... I don't want to tell you." I say lowering my head causing Fluttershy to laugh even harder.
"Do any of ya know what it means? Fluttershy." Oh know oh know oh know.
"I do." Twilight you trader. "It's what pega wings do when the pega has a crush on someone." She says with a giggle. "I guess class dyke got a crush on you." She finishes before bursting into laughter with Fluttershy.
"Hey, this is not funny. Class dyke or not AJ is really hot." Oh god did I just say that out loud.
"Oh so your a lesbian too. Oh nice to know this darn school ain't sexist." She finishes with a snicker. "Now ain't ah lucky ah made you turn around in gym." She says before bursting into laughter with Rarity joining her.
"What's a dyke?" Pinkie pie...
"Pinkie didn't we go through this already it means attracted to girls." Twilight always the smart one with all her books.
"WAIT!!!" Rarity yells. "Applejack did you say not the only one?" Now it's Applejacks turn to blush. All she does is node while staring at her food.
"Hey so AJ wanna go out sometime?" Wrong timing she had just taken a drink and now it's spat all over Rarity.
"Rainbow wha did ya just ask me?"
"Eeeewwwww!" Comes a shirk from Rarity who is now covered in water.
"Hehe sorry." Me and AJ say in unison.
"So is that a yes?"
"Ok so let me get this straight. Ya and ah are into girls. The first time we met ya got a intent crush on mah. So now your asking meh out?"
"Yep!" It's all I got.
"How about maybe?"
"Maybe? The coolest kis in school just asked you out invited you to eat lunch with her and doesn't judge you at all because they think your the most beautiful person they've ever met with the cutest accent ever and all you got is a maybe?"
"Here how about this. On ya first day a school you meet a rainbow haired jock with amazing pink eyes. Who's super cute and kind but also super rude and self confident. Who stares at meh every chance she gets. She introduces meh to the weirdest group of friends ever. No a fence. Then ah finally learn that ya a dyke like meh and that ya have a crush on meh. All this before mah first day is over. I think ya deserve a maybe." Oh god why won't I stop blushing.
"Yeah yeah I know I'm awesome and stuff and I see your point but... Come at least tell me I got a chance."
"Ya got a chance sugar cube." I can't help but smile. "But at least prove your not completely a over self confident jock." Deadpan. All I got is full on deadpan look. And all she got us a smile. The lunch bell rings and I don't even know it.
"Sugar cube? Hey Rainbow. Where's our next class?" I still don't move. Well until I feel something on my check then I come to my senses to find her kissing it lightly. "Come on sugar cube next class time."
"Uh ha. Wait what? Oh yeah next class. You know AJ your evil."
"Ya know Rainbow that's a bad pick up line." She winks before walking off. "Well ain't ya comin?"
"Yeah I'm coming." I take off after her.
After school...
"So Rainbow ya never showed meh your cutie mark."
"Oh... Well look." I turn my hand over and show her a puffy white cloud with lightning coming out. The
Lightning is three different colors
"Hey AJ you wanna hang out after school?"
"Sure sugar cube just lets head back to mah place first so ah can change from this uniform." The uniforms are light blue shirts with a dark blue button up coat. White pants for the boys and white skirts for the girls.
"Good idea. I'll meet you at the farm right?"
"How about ah meet ya at your place?"
"I live up. But you can meet me under it. I live actually near a apple orchard. I think it's called Sweet Apple Acres
is that your farm?"
"Yep. Ah guess ah'll meet ya outside the farm then." Then she looks forwards. "Ah guess we're here. See ya later Rainbow." Then she walks off.
"So cute!"
"Yeah ah know." Yells over her shoulder making me blush. So cute.
2 minutes later...
"So Rainbow ya never showed meh your cutie mark."
"Oh... Well look." I turn my hand over and show her my wrist. It has a puffy white cloud with lightning coming out. The lightning is three different colors red, yellow, and blue.
"Cool." She smiles and run her hand over it. When you run your hand over someone's cutie mark it's a way to show affection. I'm blushing like crazy and she's giggling. "Ya know sugar cube my little sis is at a sleep over with her friends the next two days and my big brother is out of town with mah Granny Smith so ah be got the house mah self if ya like to come over for pie of somethin?"
Did she really just say that? You can't turn down a offer like that can you? No you can't. "Yeah sure." Oh my gosh I sounded nervous. Oh and she looks so darn cute in her tiny jean shorts and that plaid half top and I'm staring again. And now she's laughing at me so this embarrassing.
"Come on silly. Ya really do have some silly thoughts." She winks, kisses me on the check, and walks away with a giggle. "Ya are really gonna let meh walk away ain't ya?"
"Nope!" I run to catch up.
Finally reach the farm...
"So AJ this is where you live?" Pictures of family over the fire place. Book shields to the back wall, stuff to sit on in the middle. Stairs on one side and a door the kitchen.
"Yep, home sweet home. So do ya want some of the apple family's famous apple pie?"
"Nice name. And you said I was self confident." I give her a sly grin.
"Funny. Do ya?"
"Never turn down good free food. Yeah I'd love some." I like my lips and rub my hands together getting a laugh.
"Cute sugar cube super cute." She winks and walks into the kitchen. "Ya can look around while ya wait it'll take a while." She yells over her shoulder.
"Yeah ok." After a good sweep of where I'm standing I decide to go up the stairs.
When I get up I reach a hallway not incredibly small nor big just a hall way. The first door is a bathroom the second says GS probably Granny Smiths room. The third says AB don't know who that is probably her little sisters room. The forth says BM Big Mac I think that's her brothers name. Across from his room is another bathroom than next to that is a door that says AJ, just what I was looking for.
Should I go in? Can I? Well she did say to look around so I guess I can.
When I open the door I'm expecting a squeak of some sort but not any kind of noise at all. Her room, like the rest of the house, has a wooden floor but her walls are orange same with her small carpet near her bed. Her bed has a red and white plaid blanket and a red pillow case. A window near the bed. A table off to the left of th bed with a light and a photo on it.
When I walk up to and pick up the photo I see a little girl with beautiful green eyes and blonde hair. She's wearing jeans with tears at the knees and a plaid shirt. Behind her is a big man with red hair and green eyes. Holding his hand is a young lady who appears to be pregnant with blonde hair a eyes that are yellow fading to pinkish red. Next to the girl holding her hand is a young boy with red hair and green eyes. Next to him is a very old lady with gray hair and the same eyes as the women.
"This is her family. That must be her parents but where are they now?"
"They left."
"Ahhhh." I jump back still holding the photo. "You scared me. I mean where did you come from?"
"Well ah was down stairs in my house lookin for you."
"Hehe oh yeah. Sorry. What did you mean they left?"
"Mom died of child birth of mah little sis Applebloom. Dad disappeared one night and never came home. We turned their room in to Appleblooms." A small tear runs down her face and she walks over to me. She raps her arms around my neck and starts crying.
"Oh, Applejack I'm so sorry." I hug her tight and bring her to sit down on the bed. "It's ok I've got you. It's ok." That's all I can say my parents might have died in a robbery house fire but her dad straight up walked out after she learned her mom was dead. He just left.
"Ya know Rainbow, you're very nice for a jurk." Then she lifts her head of my shoulder and giggles. I laugh to at her complement insult thingy.
"Was that a complement or an insult?"
"Both." Then she giggles again. She so cute when she's emotional. "Come on pies ready." Then she stands up and walks out with me following behind.
When done with pie...
"Oh my gosh... Applejack your stupid name is so right this is the best pie I have ever had."
"Aw, thanks sugar cube that's kind of ya but that was nothin."
"Best pie ever." I say in a sing song voice.
"Ah'm glad ya like it."
"Your modest you know that."
"Lots of people say that but ah think their just bein friendly." She says with a smile.
"Nope your modest. Nothin else to it."
"And your a show off. So is there anythin else ya got your mind on." She says haft lid with a grin.
"I... A... Wha..." I got nothin.
"Hehe ya know let's change that maybe to a yes and see how ya do. Yes ah will go out with ya..." A evil grin covers my face while a happy smile still covers hers. "But..." Now I grown. "Don't try nothin with out my permission first on me ya got that. I'm may be big for surprises but it depends ya got that?"
"Aha." I can't seem to shake my grin and she knows it. She stands up and goes out the door leading to the front room.
"Rainbow ya don't need mah permission ta move sugar cube."
"Right..." All I get is a laugh. I stand up and walk where she disappeared off to but she's not there. "Where you gO." That's when she jumps onto my back and starts kissing my neck getting a small laugh in return. "Feisty much?"
"Very much." Then she goes back to kissing my neck only to stop. "You know you smell like right after a rainstorm." And then start again.
"You know you make it hard not to fall head over heels in love cow girl, hehe." I can't but giggle because she's tickling me with her kisses.
She spins me around so I can face her. "Ah know!" Than she kisses me straight on the mouth and she really tastes like apples.
"How do you taste like apples?"
"How do you taste like rainclouds? Ah don't know what rainclouds taste like yet here you are going and tasting like one." That gets us both to laugh.
"Your feisty, cute, a awesome cook, taste like apples, nice, and funny. Where have you been my whole life?"
"Waiting to meet you!" Then we go back to kissing. And by the way sweetest apple EVER!!!!
School next day...
"Hey girls! Come here." Twilight calls with two open seats waiting for us.
"Hey Twilight what's up?"
"I you know class about to start stuff like that."
"We should probably sit down." She nodes, so we sit.
"So are you two always together? I mean you haven't separated from the second you got here." She says referring to AJ.
"Well ya see Twi...""I got her to say yes!!!!" I but in. And for that I get a glare.
"A yes?"
"Twilight you are so clueless I got to say...""She asked me lunch the other day if I'd go out with her and she got me to say yes." This time she buts in and get a glare. But it soon shifts to a proud smile.
"So keep your hands off cow girl is mine." She elbows me hard in the ribs. "Ow. Hey!" Full on glare war. She wins.
"First off ah ain't nobody's.
Second ya mine not the other way around and don't call me cow girl.
Third..." She leans in a lightly kisses me. I can't help but blush. "Ya are to easy to get ta blush." She giggles and turns to face the teacher.
I just stare at her completely dumbfounded. I turn to Twilight and ask. "Did she?" All I get is a node.
After school...
"Ok so can I come over after school today? I mean like right now?" She giggles and nodes.
"Rainbow I think ya might follow meh around like a lost puppy!"
"I do not!!!"
"Then wha' ya doin' now?"
"I'm... I... You... Arg... Add clever to the list of things you are."
"Just wonderin sugar cube but is that hair o' yours natural?"
"Very."
"Very fake or very real?"
"Very real."
"Ok here's mah list of what ya are. Your funny, cute, and very hot. But your way to self confident and way to irresistible. Also your clever too. Ah love your eyes and your careless attitude and your 'all natural' hair. Like mah list sugar cube?"
"Need to add good at making list to my list and yes I do. Do so can I come over?"
"Hummm... Last day with the house all to mah self before my little sis comes home. Ah think her little friends will be coming with 'er. So that's a yes." She winked then kept on walking.
"I'm going to have to add extra hot and turns me on to my list aren't I?"
"Probably!"
"It's on. So what do you have planed?"
"Oh, ya will see. Ah promise. And honestly I don't break promises."
"I trust you."
Back at house...
"Ok so what did you have planed?"
"Come on sugar cube ah said ah'd show ya didn't ah?"
"Yeah."
"Then come on." She walks up the stairs leaving me completely confused.
"Ok."
"So sugar cube ah know ah said ah'd show ya but ah think ya might wanna know first." Then she leans in and whispers in my ear causing my wings to fly out so fast even I could feel the wind come of them. Then I hear a light laugh but it's not Applejacks.
"Hahaha, how ya get her wings to do tha'?"
"Ahhh!!!" I jump and fall of the other side of the bed causing both Applejack and her sister who's standing in the door way to burst into a fit of giggles. Applebloom had the same yellow to pinkish red eyes as her mom but a deep red hair. In her hair was a huge dark pink bow.
"Applebloom wha' ya doin' home ah thought ya said ya were comin' home tomarrow?"
"Oh, ah did but Miss Rarity was not going to have us over since she's so up tight and couldn't take so she sent us home."
I get off the floor and look at her completely confused. "Rarity?"
"Oh... Sugar cube Appleblooms friend is Sweetie Belle Raritys little sis. Her other friend is Scootaloo who I have no idea who her family is." She said while still looking at me. Sweetie Belle had dark green eyes and pink and purple striped hair. Scootaloo has purple hair that is a little pinker than her purple eyes.
"Scootaloo? Scootaloo oh god that means she's home I've gotta go." Then I take off out the window.
"Sis' who was that?"
"Mah friend Rainbow from school."
"Oh. Wait! Rainbow Dash as in the most popular girl in school. As in class dyke. You do know she's Scootaloos older sis right?"
"That explains why she flew out the window like that."
"Sis ah heard she's datin' someone. Ya know who it is?"
"Yeah ah know."
"Who is it?"
"Oh, ya'll see."
"Would you be proud if it were ya?"
"Why wouldn't ah be?"
"Just askin'!"
Back at my house...
"Hey sis, I heard you were dating someone who is it?"
"Already I thought I could date them for at least more then 2 day with out you hearing."
"What you don't want me to know?" Puppy dog eyes why does she even know how to do those.
"Know it's just if you heard it that means there's already gossip about it, that's all."
"Ok so who is it?"
"Promise you won't tell anyone. Not Sweetie Bell or Applebloom. No one."
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" She said while doing the movements that went with the Pinkie promise.
"You know Pinkie Pie will hunt you down and there's nothing I can do stop it if you ever break that promise?"
"EVERRRRrrrr!!!!" Said Pinkie randomly popping out of a pot that she shouldn't be able to fit in then disappeared as quickly as she appeared.
"Yeah anyway, do you?"
"Yes sis I understand."
"Good." Ok I can do this no match how evil that 'good' just sounded. "Appleblooms..."
"Your dating Applejack the new girl. Oh, heard she was super pretty and smart. Can I meet her?"
"How are you best friends with Applebloom but haven't met... Oh yeah she just got back from Manhattan. Hehe!" Think, think, think. "Sure... Yeah it'll be nice for you to meet her. Ok so here's the plan..."
"Hey Apple!"
"Hiya!"
"What no 'hi' to me, that's mean you know?" Laughing...
"Hi Sweetie... Soo... Next sleep over at Apples house. I heard from my sis that she just got home from Manhattan and that she's super awesome 'giggle' so I wanna meet 'er."
"Yeah my sis said something neat was...." Scootaloo whispers the plan in her ear there's a few giggles gasps but at the most understanding.
"Hey, wha ya hear from yer sis Sweetie?"
"She said that on Applejacks, that's her name right?" There's a node so she continues. "That shes was hanging out in the group of 'giggle' cool kids before the end of the first day. Then she went on and on about her hair and other stuff like that." This just got a bunch of laughs to go around about Rarity's fashion obsession and her way of noticing every little detail.
"Neat, so mah sis is hang with y'all's sis. And Scoot to answer your question yep"
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADER SLEEPOVER AT APPLE HOUSE YAY!!"
After school when the CMC are all their waiting for Applejack to get home to surprise her...
"You said she'd be home by now!"
"Stop complaining Sweetie their coming!" Scootaloo giggles when she's sees Applejack kiss her sister and blush and her wings flare then Applejack laugh.
"Their?" Applebloom and Sweetie Belle ask in unison.
"Hehe, Applejack and my sis are both coming. That means we can scare them both!" Scoot says with a evil grin. "Oh, their almost here everyone hide." Then they all dart behind the coach.
"Funnies on my list right Rainbow?"
"Yeah it is!"
"SURPRISE!!!!!!" They yell jumping out from behind the coach to see Applejack run and hide behind Rainbow while Rainbow spreads her wings as a shield for her, but frozen in place.
They fall over laughing.
"Oh, sis that was priceless!"
"Rainbow your wings do that lot round mah sis."
"Oh god Applejack you ran like we going to kill you."
Applejack and Rainbow just stare at each other than grin. "Y'all should be the ones runnin cause I'm gonna do the killin. How bout ya Rainbow wanna help?"
"Gladly!" Then with evil grins they tackle the three giggling trouble makers.
When the playing is done and Applejack is done with dinner...
"Soups on everyone!!" She hollered.
"Yeah dinner." They run to see Rainbow eyeing that food hungrily.
"Eat up!!" They all dig in and there's no stopping them now.
"Hay sis?"
"Yeah Applebloom?"
"Is there desert?"
"Are you stupid? Of corse there's desert!" Then she grabs a pie and a plate of fritters. She grabs 4 fritters than sets down the plate. The three of them not including Rainbow and Applejack dive in. Seconds later they back away completely full with a empty plate in front of them.
"Hey!!!!" Rainbow yells at them to only get snickers so she pouts.
"Puppy dog much?"
"Hey, stop picking on me." She said then picks up a glass and takes a drink.
"So Rainbow are you going to be sleeping over too?"
"Yeah." She takes another drink.
"Where you going to be sleeping?"
"Hay Applejack where am I sleeping?"
"Well if you plannin on havin a sleepover aren't ya in my room?"
"I guess." Another sip.
"So are goin to sleep with her." And she spits all over causing Applejack to stupidly stare at Sweetie Belle and Rainbow to freeze up. "What? Oh... No not like that. Where'd you even get that idea?" Mean while Scootaloo is rolling around laughing her gut out and Applebloom completely confused.
"I think you need to work how you say things squirt." Is all Rainbow could get out before looking at her sister. The truth is when she figured out Rarity's sisters friend was living at an orphanage she went adopted her. She didn't want to be called mom so she did it in her parents name and so their really step sisters. "Scootaloo this is not funny."
"No it's not but your face was." She said before breaking into another fit of giggles.
"Anyway... Hey Rainbow ah heard ya were datin someone, who is it?"
"How about we play a guessing game. I'll give you hints until you can guess who it is."
"That sounds fun. Start!"
"Ok first three hints are funny, clever, and... You know her!"
"Um funny, clever, ah know 'er... Oh ah know who falls under all those things. Miss Rarity!"

"No... Ok next two hints I have more than three classes with her and she can be a little evil."
"A little evil?" Applejack asked anger and confusion covering her face.
"Only a little..."
"Can ah guess now, cause ah think ah know who it is?"
"Alright hit me with it."
"Ok so their funny, clever, can be evil, ah know 'er, and ya got more than three classes hmmm... Hmmm... Oh ah know... Miss Twilight?"

"No... Ok next and last hint... I'm going to make this as not obvious as possible but we're neighbors."

"Why's she holdin ya like that?" Holdin me like, oh... Her wing is over mah shoulder and I'm tucked into her neck. One arm is under her head while the other is on my back and our legs are wrapped around each.
"Ah guess we were cold last night and did it in our sleep." It wasn't a complete lie it was cold and our legs were not like that when we fell asleep.
"Alright... Well wake 'er up Granny made breakfast." Then he started to walk out.

"Um sure." I take in a huge breath than sigh. "I'm sorry I guess I'm just really nervous but I will pull through... Oof. Hey why'd you stop?"

"No, I'm 100% sure that extra 10% is being blocked out with how nervous I am." This makes her laugh, I guess that helps.

Next day...
"What happened last... Oh." Is all I say when I look down and see her curled up against me.
She took us to a certain place near the orchard. If you go all the way to the far end of the orchard you can find a path follow it and you get to a large tree walk around to the other side of the tree and there's a door that leads to a house inside the tree.
She said she found it one day. A hollow tree with a whole in one side and a very flat floor. She fixed it up and put in furniture and a bed and called it 'a place'.
"Mornin Rainbow..."
"Memories?"
"Yep. How'd ya sleep?"
"Interesting question. But I slept fine actually." I can't help but smile at her so she smiles back then starts laughing.
"Well tha was fun... We should do it again sometime."
"Yeah that was fun."
"Ok... Well ah'm hungry want some food?"
"As much as I'd love to but always say yes to good free food unless who is serving it will kill you." I really think her brother will kill me.
"You should have told meh that before ah brought ya here. But yeah ya have a point. Ah will meet ya under your house at noon." She gave me quick kiss before adding love ya and getting out to get ready for the day.

"I just pieced it together. Ok so first that you were dating and the night I came over I new you weren't actually going to do anything other than make out. Then I realized I gave you guys that idea. Than I see you guys stop and talk then you walk off looking very nervous and happy. Then I see Dashie fly away from the orchard in the morning. "Ok, so we're in gym and the coach tells us to run 30 laps and someone trips her on her 15th and she cuts her knee..." She says pointing to the very bloody knee. "She tells the coach it's bad and he says finish your laps and then you can go to the nurse. She starts running again but is limping and the coach starts yelling at her that she's not the new girl anymore and she had to keep up with everyone else or she'll get detention. She starts coughing into her hand and the coach keeps yelling at her then after the 2ed time he tells her that I defend her. She says I don't have to well she starts to but she collapses to the ground and when I go up to her I see..." Pointing to her lips, hand, and arm where she coughed into... "I saw it was bloody... That she was coughing up blood so I brought her here. Why was she coughing blood?"
Granny answers worry in her eyes mixed with determination. "Sweetie ya gota keep stickin up fer 'er she needs ya. With 'er condition she will turn up like this more... She will explain it to ya more but that gym coach and tha school know 'bout 'er condition and that she shouldn't be doin anythin to crazy for a while. That gym coach coulda killed 'er if ya didn't bring 'er here." Granny finishes while during her speech Big Mac was hooking up the inhaler.
A few minutes later...
"Hhhhh..." She takes a deep needed breath.
"He could have killed you and you were going to tell me to leave it alone... Your lucky I have enough sense to bring you to the farm... Now they said it was your thing to tell me so tell me everything..." She was so worried not even her anger could hide it... When Applejack just looked down to the blankets of her bed where she now lay she just looked disappointed and upset. Her face and all of Rainbows worry pushed her over the edge and she burst into tears. "You could have died AJ do you know what that means I could have lost you, we could have lost you and you can't even tell your girlfriend about it." She says between cries.
"Ah'm so sorry Rainbow I should da told ya your right but ah don't like bring in it up. It's not like I just go around sayin 'oh I got this and that' it's just... Your right ah'm wrong ah should da told ya. Come 'ere its ok ah'm ok now stop your cryin sugar cube... Shh it's alright now."
"I saw the blood. You passed out, just collapsed. Granny said you could of died. Mac said you had breathing problems. I don't know what to think AJ, please just tell me long or short story I'm all ears... Please?" She says while lying down next to her resting her head on her chest and slowly stoping her cryin so AJ could start her story.
"Ok, ah already told ya what happened in Manhattan, right?" She gets a small node. "Ah told ya ah was gonna stay another year to help out the Oranges well tha was the plan but its not wha happened. I got really sick coughin up blood passing out from lack o' breath stuff like tha, they took meh to tha hospital and when tha doctors told them wha ah had and ah needed surgery that's why ah stayed for more then a year. If ah had just stayed for a year ah would a got home 2 years ago. The surgery put me into a coma for the rest of that year and part of the next. When ah did get out of tha hospital it was months later. Ah couldn't go home cause the doctors wanted ta watch meh to make sure ah was in good health. When ah did get home ah still wasn't in any condition to help out around the farm so they sent meh ta school. The school couldn't over work meh. If ah got a cut that's big enough ah would have ta go to tha nurse cause mah body isn't strong enough ta not pass out, feel dizzy, or get clumsy dependin on tha size. Also if ah over work mah self or just work out for ta long without ah break ah cough blood or pass out. Since ah had a cut big enough to make meh dizzy and ah was coughin blood ah ended up passin out."
"AJ just tell me what this mystery sickness is so we can work through this together, no matter what where or when I will always be there for you. I'll even pinkie promise and you can never 4 ever break one..."
"NEVER!!!" Pinkie says before disappearing back into the cup she came from getting a confused look from AJ.
"She's Pinkie, she's random. Anyway look Pinkie Promise, cross my heart hope to fly stick a cup cake in my eye..." She says going through the movements. "So what is it?" She gives her a worried but conferring smile and a kiss.

"Up stairs." She moves out of the way you can see guilt covering her every feature.
"Thanks." I give her a shy smile then head up the stairs. There is Rainbow lying on the bed in a small ball crying her eyes out and holding her tummy. "Hey sugar cube ya ok?" Ok well tha was a stupid question.
"No I just got kicked out of school because of Twilights stupid spell. Why'd she even right a spell like that? I feel so bad right now. Oh it hurts. She said at this rate I won't be able to fly and it's coming a lot faster then it should why'd you guys do this to me?"
"Sugar cube ah don't even know what it is."
"I... I'm... I... I can't say it. Twilight could you tell her for me please I can't say it. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!"
"I'm so sorry Rainbow. Truth I really didn't expect it to work ok."

"Twi look at her, ah get that ya didn't mean ta but ya did so ya need ta do your best to help meh help 'er because she is in a lot of pain mentally as well as physically k?"
She nodes then breaks down completely on to the floor tears.
"I'm sorry AJ I know I should have told you but I couldn't I was to afraid." Comes a voice from behind me. Ah feel so sorry for 'er. Ah guess this is partly mah fault. Ah gotta be strong for 'er.
"Don't be sorry sugar cube out of all of us y'all are the last one who should be sorry. It's all goin to be ok, ok?"
She nodes sitting up and patting the bed next to her so I sit there. "Well our lives are a total mess. You are recovering from lung cancer. I'm pregnant. Twilight is well freaking out. Our gym teacher hates us for loving each other. And I can't decide who your brother is going to kill. You for getting me pregnant, me for sleeping with you in the first place, Twilight for creating and using the spell, or all of us."
"Out of all of 'em Ah think it'll be Twi." Ah laugh.
"Why do you think that?"
"Well he'd never be able to kill his own sis' and your carryin mah kid so that would be a kill of four people."
"Four?"
"You, them, meh for killin mah family, and him because if he killed ya or them he's dead meat and he knows it. So that's why ah think it would be Twi... Sorry Twi but your dead meat." They burst into laughter when Twilight looks in completely confused.

"Oh." They all say in understanding.

The door swings open and a Pink blob comes through it. "Awesome AJ your awake I'm sorry but Rainbow can't visit you she has something going on in a room next door but the doctors said you could visit her. Oh it's so nice to know your ok but they said you two can't leave the hospital. You cause your cancer may have came back and Rainbow for personal reasons."
"Ah have cancer and you three just happened ta leave that out and who the hay is that?"
"Such bad language. Her names Pinkie Pie and she's talkative."
"Can ah go see Rainbow now?"
"Why do you not remember me?"
"Ah don't know ah don't remember meh. All ah remember is Rainbow and... Yeah."

"She has amnesia Pinkie." Confused Pinkie. "No memory."

"Oh yes you can go she's on the first room to your right."

"RAINBOW RAINBOW RAINBOW DASH! Come on sugar cube where'd ya go." Arg come on I'm wonder town lookin for ya where are ya? Wait, she said somethin bout only Twi knowin so let's go ta Twi's place.

"Up stairs." She moves out of the way you can see guilt covering her every feature.
"Thanks." I give her a shy smile then head up the stairs. There is Rainbow lying on the bed in a small ball crying her eyes out and holding her tummy. "Hey sugar cube ya ok?" Ok well tha was a stupid question.
"No I just got kicked out of school because of Twilights stupid spell. Why'd she even right a spell like that? I feel so bad right now. Oh it hurts. She said at this rate I won't be able to fly and it's coming a lot faster then it should why'd you guys do this to me?"
"Sugar cube ah don't even know what it is."
"I... I'm... I... I can't say it. Twilight could you tell her for me please I can't say it. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!"
"I'm so sorry Rainbow. Truth I really didn't expect it to work ok."
"You are the smartest person I know, your special talent is magic, you right a spell and you didn't expect it to work that's that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

She nodes then breaks down completely on to the floor tears.
"I'm sorry AJ I know I should have told you but I couldn't I was to afraid." Comes a voice from behind me. Ah feel so sorry for 'er. Ah guess this is partly mah fault. Ah gotta be strong for 'er.
"Don't be sorry sugar cube out of all of us y'all are the last one who should be sorry. It's all goin to be ok, ok?"
She nodes sitting up and patting the bed next to her so I sit there. "Well our lives are a total mess. You are recovering from lung cancer. I'm pregnant. Twilight is well freaking out. Our gym teacher hates us for loving each other. And I can't decide who your brother is going to kill. You for getting me pregnant, me for sleeping with you in the first place, Twilight for creating and using the spell, or all of us."
"Out of all of 'em Ah think it'll be Twi." Ah laugh.

"Well he'd never be able to kill his own sis' and your carryin mah kid so that would be a kill of four people."

All ah could remember was her smile and how much ah love 'er. All ah remember was that she was carryin mah kid and that ah'd do anythin for either of em."
"All you remember is me." AJ nodes. "And her." She says pointing at her belly that already had a lump.
"Her?"
"Yeah she's really growin fast and it's a her and..." She stops because her tummy bulges even bigger. It looks so painful. "She'll be out soon."
"Are ya ok, ya don't look so good?"
"Yeah just it hurts a lot. But I can do it just, just please stay here with me."
"Ah would never leave." She crawls into the bed next to her and puts her head on her chest. She could feel the tension. "How much sugar cube?"
"I can't explain. Just imagin the most painful moment ever."
"Like surgery when the hospital is out of sleep drug. They open up your chest and remove stuff from your lungs and your still awake enough ta feel it all?"
"The hospital was out of sleep drugs and they still did surgery on you, talk about hard core."
"Yeah, is that wha ya feel like right now?"
"Maybe not that exact kind of pain but yeah. I guess." Then she cringes up and her stomach bulges again. "If i have a kiss that would really take my mind off of it." She says with puppy dog face.
"Mah little puppy always gets a kiss." Kiss kiss kiss.
"Ok now I'm going to start begging for more. Please?"
"Only if ah can call ya it again?"
"Wait you remember that?"
"No, ah already told ya ah remember everythin about ya."
"So you also remember saying that you wouldn't call me that? And how'd you remember anything from the hospital?
"Oh ah dont know ah just do. Fine ah won't call ya it but ah'll still kiss ya."

After 5 kisses and one final bulge...
Screams filled the room painful blood curtailing screams.
Applejack runs from the room and into hers. "Girls go find a doctor tell them to get to Rainbows room NOW!" Then she runs back into Rainbows. "It's going to be ok sugar cube. You can do this just breath. Do what the doctors say and y'all will be fine."
"It hurts so much..." She says through screams. "If I survive this I'm so going to kill Twilight."
"If ya survive this? You idiot when you survive this I'm going ta help ya kill 'er k?"
"Sounds like fun! Thanks for everything I truly do love you. And AJ?"
"Yeah sugar cube?"
"2 things. First when all of this is over, since it was such a hassle, were keeping this baby. Second I would and will always stand by you no matter what happens or where we are I will be there for you." She says before going back to screaming and the doctors rush in, realizing what's going on, orders are given and AJ is told to comfort Rainbow. Rainbow is told to push and hold on till its all over.
After about 2 hours the sounds die down to nothing and the doctors are holding a small baby girl. But Rainbow was everyone's worry. She wasn't moving not at all. Her heart monitor was beeping at a steady beat and she was breathing it looked like she was asleep. The doctor starts poking and prodding her and the machines.
"Is she asleep doc?"
"No, I don't think she is."
"Wha do ya mean?"
"She is in a coma."
"How?"
"I don't really know, I think the pain was to much and her body shut itself down. Lets hope for the beat but there's nothing we can do for her." He looks down and in his hands still is a small crying bundle. "Here." He hands AJ the bundle and leaves.
She looks down at the bundle and is way over joyed at the sight of her beautiful daughter. She was slightly confused about her though. Instead of sky blue wings that would be expected she had a sunset orange wings. Her hair was rainbow but had cute blonde streaks init. She opened her eyes and they were different colors one was magenta like Rainbows but the other was a green like AJ's. but all in all she was beautiful.
"She beautiful Rainbow ah'm proud of ya. Hope ya wake up soon ta meet 'er she has our eyes. She has wings and our hair too. She's perfect. Ah miss ya puppy." Then she walks out of the room.
Back in the other room...
"Oh Applejack she's beautiful. Do you know what color her eyes are?" Rarity asks in a voice barely above a whisper so not to wake the sleeping new born on her mothers chest.
"Yeah, they're kinda funny though. She has Rainbows eyes on the right."
"On the right."
"On the left she has mine."
"Oh that's interesting sweetie. Twilight what is it called to have two different eye colors?"
"It's called Heterochromia iridum."
"Hetero what now?"
"Hetero-chro-mia iri-dum."
"Hey let just say that's a real word and move on."
"Ah agree with Rare. That ain't English Twi."
"Anyway does she have wings or not?"
"She does but they're orange, know why?"
"Well like Rainbows are blue if you had wings they'd probably be orange. Something like that."
"Ah guess that makes sense."
"Finally!"
"Ah said 'ah guess' not that it did."
"It made sorta sense?"
"Let's go with that." Twilight grins.
"Um, Applejack?"
"Yeah Shy?"
"What's her name? If you don't mind me asking."
"Oh I'm going to wait for Rainbow to wake up to decide on that."
"Yeah, where is Rainbow anyway?"
"Oh yeah ah don't want ta answer that one Pinkie."
"Why?"
"Cause y'all will all say its stupid to want to wait for 'er to wake up. That's why."
"Applejack where's Rainbow Dash!?"
"She ain't dead if tha's wha y'all are wonderin."
"So what happened?"
"The pain was to much for 'er and her body shut down. That's what the doc said he said she is in a coma."
"Oh darling I'm so sorry. But what about you wait a few days here about her situation and if she isn't waking up soon you give her a name ok. Waiting around for someone to wake up from a self made coma is not very clever thing to do. You understand right sweetie?"
"Ah understand Rare ah'm just not goin ta believe tha she ain't wakin up any time soon. She's loyal and ya know that and she wouldn't miss 'er own daughters first step or first word. She would want to see 'er life and help decide on 'er name. So if she put 'erself in this coma she darn right is takin 'erself out o' it. Do y'all understand mah point?"
"We do AJ. So I've gotta go, Rarity come on I'm going to need your help."
"Um Twi what cha doin?"
"I'm helping you out of the mess I created!"
"Twi Rainbow will wake 'erself up ya don't need ta force it y'all will just cause a bigger mess sugar cube."

"Ah remember tha y'all put tha spell on Rainbow but looky here sugar cube she ain't dead and the child is fine. The least ya could do was leave 'er be."
"I should at least try no point in not trying."
"You tryin a spell on Rainbow is what got us in this mess in the first place so you are goin to leave 'er alone."
"Yeah ok, fine!" Twilight sits down. The baby wakes up hungry.
"Twi ah... Never mind try ta wake up Rainbow ah cant feed um. Maybe ya could put ah spell on meh ta feed um. Please Twi?"
"I'll try. But you could put the baby down."
"Yeah ok. Anyone want ta take 'er?"
"Um, I will!"
"Thanks Shy!"
"Now everyone stand back."
Her eyes light up a soft purple and AJ is encased. Then something know one expects happens.
I'm seeing double rainbows
The door isn't sound proof to everyone's disappointment. Fluttershy sitting there trying to comfort the still hungry baby. Twilight in a mental breakdown on the floor on Rarity's lap. Pinkie with Applejack.
"Not fun, you got that, not FUN!" Pinkie storms in hair flat on her head hands clenched in fists at her sides grinding her teeth together. "Twilight I am going to kill you for doing this to TWO OF OUR FRIENDS!" Then she burst into tears. "Rainbows condition just got worse. She might not wake up anytime soon. AJ is in the emergency room because you just had to get scared when the doctor came in to tell us about Rainbows condition. And they just had a kid that was your fault that is the reason Rainbow even has a condition. And the baby is still hungry!" Her tears get so strong that she can't even talk.
"My condition got better not worse Pinkie stop imagining things."
Rarity's face: You? How? What? When? WHAT?
Fluttershys face: (not really she fainted) the baby on her chest.
Twilights face: Super grateful, confused, some other crazy mix of emotions, and... What the hay are you doing in here your not even awake?
Pinkies face: Some weird mix of way to much joy, anger, and confusion.
"Now can someone tell me what's wrong with AJ and why were yelling at Twi?"
"Um darling?"
"Yeah?"
"YOUR EXPOSE TO BE IN A COMA!"
"Yep..."
"AND YOU JUST WALK IN HERE?"
"Yep..."
"YOU JUST WALK IN HERE ALL LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO WAKE UP FOR 2 DAYS! THE DOCTORS HAD TO GIVE YOUR CHILD SPECIAL FAKE STUFF BECAUSE APPLEJACK IS IN SURGERY!"
"Oh..." I walk over to Fluttershy take my kid off her chest. "Then I should probably go visit her." Stunned expressions cover their faces.
"You jerk." Oh no! "You walk in here like nothing's wrong after we were told you weren't going to make it. Act like nothing is wrong when your told your girlfriend is in surgery after SHE almost died because she was trying to cover for you. YOU JERK!" She whips around and slaps me across the face leaving a very red hand print.
I just run out of the room hold my kid close to my chest grinning like a idiot. "Oh yeah! Extra jerk today Pinkie." I evil laugh then lock myself in Applejacks room alone. "Ready honey... I've got a surprise for you!"
"You jerk, open this door, you jerk!"
"Sorry sweetie not happenin!"
"Sweetie?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, now should I laugh at you or with you?"
"With me!" She pounds the door you can see it shaking on its hinges. "Open. The. Door. Rainbow. DASH!" She slams it open and her face is evil. But soon confused.
She sees me shaking in the hands of someone else in pure terrier. Then Applejack on the bed with kid on her chest. It's who's holding me that's really scary. "Run." I whimper out before she covers my face with her hand.
"Talk anymore sweetie and you will suricate. Got that?" I node.
"Drop her!"
"Oh Pinkie... 'Tis tis' you know you really are funny but I don't see fun anywhere around you anymore."
"Shut up!"
"Oh Dashie doesn't know... Bad Pinkie. I told you to tell her."
"Shut up! You never told me anything."
"Oh you don't remember?"
"Remember what?"
"Dashie it was Pinkies fault that Applejack is in this situation. It's my fault that you were in yours." I bite her hand causing her to let go so I can back away.
"I told Applejack the story. I new she wouldn't believe me but she hid it well. You may not understand why it happened but stop taking it out on me. I know it was my fault and I get that just STOP!" I charge at her tackling her to the ground and pinning her there. "I love her and all ways will ok so stop."

"No!" Now Pinkie is less angry and more confused.

"You let her go now look where that lead." She smirks.
"I had to let her go and you know that. Please let her go now!"

2 years before Applejack left for Manhattan...
"Come on please..."

"Come on dad let us go with you."
"At least this once. It could be a family trip to our house in Ponyvill. It could be so much fun."
"We could meet a whole bunch of new people."

"Ok fine you can come. But NO, under any circumstances can you visit our neighbors. NO going to the apple orchard, got that?"

When we get to Ponyvill...
"This our house here do you like it?"

We take off. I just love flying. We both do, but you would kind of expect us to have a little something in common. I mean we're twins aren't we? Well we are, and we do. "Hey Silver?"

"You had your fingers crossed didn't you?"

"Oh yeah, I mean it's a apple orchard, what harm can be done at least flying over it?"
"I know right... Come on let's go." I node and we fly towards the vast expanse known as Sweet Apple Acres.
When we finally get there both of our mouths are agape at the sight. Acres and acres of apple trees each one spotted with delicious red apples. "Wow!" We say in unison.
"Those trees sure look comfy and those apples look tasty."
"Rainbow, is the only thing you can think of food and sleep?" I node. She laughs at me.
"Hey, at least I'm not ALWAYS thinking about... What do you always think about again?" She laughs at me again.
"Finding a special somebody."
"Right... At least I don't obsess over that..." My voice trails of when I see her.
It's always been this thing that my dad really hates about me, I'm just not attracted to boys. He try's to keep me away from girls because of it. He says its wrong and that I'm broken, he thinks he can fix me.

I've been having dreams about this 'girl' all I know is that before mom was put in the hospital, for reasons unknown to me, she told me that only true love you know before even meet them. I had a dream about a girl, she was blonde (I remember this dream crystal clear) and had beautiful green eyes. She was waving at me. I remember the smell and taste of apples and her smile. The most beautiful sight ever, this girl.
"The one from your dream?" I node. "Do you think dad put it together when he met her or something and that's why he didn't want us to come here?"
"Yeah, now I need to meet her..." I'm about to start flying down when she stops me.
"Wait, Rainbow you should wear a disguise or something just in case."
"Yeah ok, where am I going to get one?" She smiles widely.
"Follow me..." She takes off towards Ponyvill with me in her wake. She leads us to the sugar shop called Sugar cube Corner.
"Why are we here of all places?"
"Because I heard every once in a while a little pink pony comes and lives with the Cakes while collecting stuff for her family's rock farm out side of town. She loves to be weird. She might have something."

"I don't know but we should ask." Then we walk in to see no one there.
"Hello is somebody here?" I call out to get a sound from the kitchen in return. Then a tall man with orange hair green eyes and a striped tie walked out of the kitchen with a huge smile on his face.
"Yes, would you like something?" He says in a cheery voice that's super happy but not creepy.
"Yes actually, we were wondering if Pinkie was here?"
"Oh, yes she is she just up the stairs. Her door is furthest to the right." We thank him and head up the stairs and to the room he directed us to.
Knock knock knock. "You can come in!" Comes a sing song voice from inside. We enter and she doesn't seem confused at all to have to identical strangers just come into her room.
"Hi are you Pinkie Pie?" Oh Silver stupid question much.
"We'll duh, who are you?"
"I'm Silverbloom, this is my sister Rainbow Dash. We came to ask you a favor."
"Ask away." She sits on her bed and just stares at us.
"Well, actually Dash wants to ask it." I glare at her as I step forward.
"I need a disguise."
"Really... Ok!" Then she goes into her closet and comes out with a big box. "What kind?" I just stare, she's a natural prankster.
"To look like someone else, like a spy, kinda... You know what I mean right?"
"Not to be yourself?" She gasps.
"Well just to hide my real identity so I can go undercover."
"Oh... Wait! Let me look at you." She walks up and scans me up and down then flips over my hand to look at my wrist. "Sorry Dashie can't happen yet... She's not ready." Then she hands us a cupcake and shows us the door before adding. "Her names Applejack by the way and you have to wait for her to come to you or very baddy bad stuff will happen. Not only to the two of you but to your family and me and people you don't even know yet. So stay away from her you got that? Stay. Away. From. Applejack." Then were out the door and she's gone.
"That's a really pretty name."
"What?"
"Applejack, I have got to meet her."
"Didn't you hear Pinkie, you can't Dash. You will put people you love and don't even know in danger you just can't ok."
"Ok." Fingers crossed.
"Put both hands up where I can see them and promise."
"No, I have to meet her." I take off towards the orchard and land at the front gate.
"Dash don't! Please, I'm begging you, don't!"
"I'm sorry Silver I just have to. I see her even when I'm not dreaming now. She's invading my life and I haven't even said 'hi' to her."
"If you go in there I'm gone. You hear me. I'll just fly away. You go in there and you won't hear from me ever again."
"You can't put this on me Silver. You don't know what it's like to go every waking and sleeping moment with this person who isn't even there. I just have to."
"Yes I do Dash!" Then a tear slides down her face. "I'm obsessed with finding that special somebody because they haunt me everywhere the only difference between you and me is that someone told you to wait. They told you to wait because if you don't then others will get hurt. I haven't found them and you have so just wait and protect them from the side lines. She will wait for you."
"I'm not the patient type." Then I take a step into the gates and more towards a blonde farm pony.
"I will find you when she remembers you."
Then I realize, sometimes you do have to wait. But it WAS to late she saw me. Our eyes locked. I took off to see her stare at me. A chain of events happen because she stared at me.
A fire at the out skirts of the orchard isn't put out in time and our house is set to flames. My mom had just come home and now her and my dad were burning alive. My sister is long gone and I'm the reason they died.
A few months before Applejack leaves for Manhattan...
"MAC!!!!" I hear her scream. I've been watching her for a while to see what else goes wrong and to try and prevent it. "PA!!!! IT'S COMIN GET IN HERE MA NEEDS YA!"
"Applejack run as fast as ya can ta tha hospital and tell them ta get over here as fast o' possible. Got that?"
"Yes sir dad sir." She solutes him then starts her run to the hospital with me hiding behind a cloud while following her. She stops and looks up at me."Your Rainbow aren't ya?"
I peak over the edge. "Yep... How do you know my name?"
"Ah have dreams."
I look over further. "Really, I thought I was the only one... Weren't you going somewhere?"
Her eyes go wide and she takes off again. She's really fast. I mean super fast. She is actually a small challenge to keep up with.
Back at the farm after the screams die down...
I'm just waiting, then the front door swings open and a teary eyed Applejack runs out. She runs to the back of the orchard and follows a path to discover 'a place'. I land in front and peak in. "Are you ok?" Stupid question time for me now.
"Do ah look ok?"
"Ok it was a stupid question. Do you want to talk about it?"
"I don't even know you. I don't know why your in my head. My mom just left mah family. GO AWAY, please." I walk in kiss her on the forehead and then I 'go away'.
2 months before she leaves...
"Mac, wake up, Mac." She was shaking him and tears were rolling down her face.
"What is it AJ?"
"He's gone. He just left." Then she falls to the ground in tears.
"Who left? AJ what are ya talkin bout?"
"Dad. Ah woke up from... Dreams. And I heard somethin, ah looked out the window and there he was walkin down the road. He just left."
"Oh." Is all he got out before he picked her up and held her close. "We'll get through this. Ok we'll get through this."
1 week before she left...
"Ah'm gonna go." She's sitting a the dinner table. "In a week. Ah'm all packed ta go. Ah will miss ya guys." Then she stands up yawns and goes to bed.
"Only a week left Granny."
"Ah know Mac, ah know."
She opens her window and I fly in. "Your really leaving aren't you?"
"Ah'm sorry Rainbow but ah have ta."
"No you don't. Your just telling yourself that but you don't have to go."
"Yeah ah do." Then she leans over and whispers something in my ear and kisses my cheek. "Good bye Rainbow. Ah will come back, ah promise."
"Tell me that with both hand where I can see them." I repeat my sisters words.
"Sorry ah cant so that."
The day of the surgery in Manhattan...
I burst into the room. "You better come back you hear me, you better come back."
She puts both hands in the air. "Ah promise. Just stay with meh."
I put both hands up. "I promise." We smile at each other.
"Surgery starting. Everyone clear the room."
"Can some stay with her for moral support?"
"Miss it's your pick." He says turning to AJ while pointing at us.
"Stay with meh, please?" She says locking eyes with me. I node and sit down next to her.
The door swings open and a nurse walks in with a worried look on her face. She whispers something in the doctors ear and her looks worried too. "We have to try. Give her all we got." They do and the surgery starts. I'm with her the whole time.
When she wakes from her coma she has no memory of me. I guess that's a good thing. I head back to Ponyvill to wait for her to return home.
"You said I would never see you again."
"I said I'd fine you when she remembers."
"What does that mean?"
"It means that, when she forgot you at the hospital after the surgery, when she remembers everything about is come back."
It happens in a flash. First there's a hand over her mouth spinning her around and knocking her to the ground. Pinned down by her wings, Silver struggles under her but its no use she's trapped. "Then ya should a come back years ago. Sorry sugar cube but ah could never forget 'er, I loved 'er with all mah heart an ah still do."
"We can't."
"Who can't."
"Applejack get off of her."
She looks up. "Why should ah, Rainbow?"
"Because, I can't."
"Ah can't what sugar cube."
"I can't love you with all our heart."
"Ah'm confused."
"Do you remember the dreams?"
"Yeah, we both had um."
"Well she had them too."
"Them too?"
"She dreamed of..."
"I dreamed of you to. And Dash shouldn't have met you that day. The day of the fire. It was her fault." She gave up her struggle. A tear runs down Dashes face.
"Ah'm confused."
"I told you not to go there Dashie, you didn't listen so I had to fix it I'm so sorry AJ I just had to fix it."
"Fix it?" Rainbow and Applejack say in unison.
"We all wouldn't have gotten our cutie marks. We would have never met. AJ would never have came back. Applebloom would have died. Mac would have mental break down. I just had to stop it."
"How did ya stop it Pinkie? How did ya know all a this?"
"I stole the sleep drug. I'm so sorry I just had to see if I could get you to forget Rainbow."
"You almost killed her." Fury covers Rainbow while Silver switches positions with AJ putting her on the bottom instead.
"You could have killed her Pinkie!" Silver equally mad.
"I know, I didn't mean to, I just wanted enough pain to give her amnesia." Silver is off of Applejack and in a flash second on top of Pinkie. That's when the others walk in. Mayhem. That's the only word to explain it.
Applejack lying on the ground, Rainbow over her. The baby lying on the bed asleep. Pinkie pinned to the ground looking guilty and sad. Rainbow #2 on top of her, as they know. "I get why you did it but you idiot, she almost died!"
Rainbow now looking evil while protecting Applejack. "I don't care if you get it. You love her to dont you, you should have stood up and protected her. You knew it would happen. I WAS A LOVE SICK FOOL!"
"A LOVE SICK FOOL WHO KILLED OUR PARENTS!"
A tear runs down her face but she holds her ground. "YOU LEFT ME! YOU JUST FLEW AWAY. WHAT DID YOU EXEPCT TO HAPPEN!"
"YOU TO HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO TIRN AROUND BEFORE SHE SAW YOU AND NOW IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
"YOUR THE ONE WHO FLEW IN!"
"I CAN'T FLY BECAUSE OF YOU!"
"I know I'm so sorry. But you shouldn't blame me. I was so stupid, then I had to live my whole life alone a orphan not knowing if you were alive or dead. I saw you fly in and then it went up in flames."
"I know I should have come back to you but I'm stubborn and you know it."
"Stubborn and stupid, just imagine one of us again we would be a unstoppable stubborn idiot." They both laugh.
"Would that mean we would only be able to half fly?"
Fluttershy looks at them. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Shy, did you see it?"
"Calm down that's normal."
"How is that normal?"
"Well..." They say in unison. "Pinkie can you explain?"
"They are one pony who was split in two and that is why you weren't expose to meet Applejack. Because you both love her and she will fall in love with both of you. If she does then you won't be whole ever again... Rainbow you should probably get her out of here."
"Come on AJ let's go."
"Wait sugar cube."
"Why?"
"Pinkie how do we get them ta be one?"
She looks at them and giggles, well breaks into a full on laughter fit.
"Pinkie Pie if you can't be serious then I'll tell her..." She looks uneasy. "I would rather not to have to though."
"Dash I could tell her."
"Or we could just... Then she could have the one and only Rainbow Dash."
"Yeah, that is kinda a good idea except she might want to know."
"We should tell her shouldn't we... How about you tell her Silver?"
She rolls her eyes at her sisters uneasiness but you can see the understanding. She nodes. "Applejack to make one of us you would need to..."
