For years, the Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, or G-Force, has defended planet Earth from the intergalactic criminal Berg Katse (under his alias Galactor), who has, for thousands of years, attempted to seek control of the entire universe with the help of his Galactor army. His plans have failed repeatedly and has resulted in the deaths of many of his commanders.

But this time, following an assault on G-Force's ship, the God Phoenix, by Galactor's men, a time machine installed on the ship by Joe the Condor has sent the team to an unfamiliar dimension, a dimension largely dominated by talking horses. With Galactor and his army on their tail and surrounding the planet, and his ambition to enslave the entire dimension, G-Force will need help to protect this planet and get themselves back home.

And the help they get is much closer than they think...
