Chapters Gilda, The Sky's The Limit
Gilda was sleeping on a cloud bed she had made after healing her wing. She felt nice getting back on the clouds and be able to fly again. She really didn't like walking and always tried to fly as often as possible.
She carefully travel to the forest. She don’t want a repeat of what happened last time.
"Now Luna please hold on very tightly. I’m going to start flying in a couple of seconds." said Gilda in a strong voice.
Gilda made a cloud platform by moving some small nearby clouds and let Luna rest and explain.
Gilda hugged Luna and said " Ahh don't think about stuff like that. Focus on the good parts, even if there small, it's better than thinking about something like that. For example, a friend that I’ve known for years probably hate's me now... but that's the past and I’ve got to get you back to canterlot in the present." said Gilda.
By the time they got there, the sun was setting. Gilda landed and was greeted with some hostile company.
“What happened here?!" said Celestia.
After 10 minutes, Gilda went to the dining hall. She sat next to Luna, who had recovered enough to walk, though pretty much being a god does have its advantages.
Celestia stood up and proposed a toast to Gilda.
“So how did you get Princess Luna here anyway?" said the captain.
The book was interesting as each of their captains had served princess Celestia and her parents as well but the final captain was not of pony, Pegasus or unicorn but of griffin.
Gilda thought about this for second. She was strong and fast but she had never thought anyone other than the people that picked on Rainbow Dash when they were younger.
After the feast, Luna showed were Gilda would be sleeping.

Gilda woke up in the soft bed and stretched her arms and wings. After days of sleeping on clouds and on the ground, it was nice to feel so relaxed and rested. She headed over to the bathroom and looked at a mirror. Her feathers were a mess but Gilda didn't care. Looks weren’t important anyway.
"Watch were you’re going you..." Gilda saw that the person she bumped in is princess Luna.
They walked through the halls and talked about things.
They arrived and were greeted by the masked captain. "Afternoon, Raisin. Trying to be threatening again, I see." said Luna.
"Okay now to see your defensive. I’ll attack you and you block, okay?" Gilda nodded and got ready for the attack.
A lot of time later...
The captain awoke and saw Gilda and Luna standing over him. "He’s awake." said Luna. She levitated Raisin on to his feet.
"So Luna, what's there to do around here?" asked Gilda. "Hmm, let me think... I have no clue." said Luna.
They searched around the castle for a decent area to practice. The problem was they had to find a place that had a soft landing and decent enough space for movement. After a while Luna had an idea.
Luna led Gilda to her room. She opened a portal. "Follow me Gilda." they jumped through the portal.
Luna got to the top of the hill while Gilda waited at the bottom of the hill.
Luna was the first to wake up and to see what had happened. She saw white feathers over her and also saw that Gilda was holding her tightly. She also that Gilda had hit her head into something across her face, causing some bleeding.
After a while Gilda started to get tired. "Well Luna" Gilda yawned "I’m off to bed. What about you?" asked Gilda?

Luna was sleeping in her bed after keeping the stars out all night. She didn't find it hard but she was tired.
Celestia walked through the halls with a radiant smile on her face. She was happy for Luna finally getting a friend.
"This place is massive! It’s bigger then my apartment!" exclaimed the guard.
The size alone would make it almost impossible to find a particular book to the normal pony.
Meanwhile with Luna...
Luna awoke from her slumber. She looked around and saw what time it was on the old clock in her room and saw it was about 2 in the afternoon. She opened a portal and went to her garden to water her roses.
She walked over to a patch of roses and saw a white rose in a patch of red roses.
She got back and took the rose out of her satchel and looked for somewhere to put it.
After a bit of walking, Luna made it to the shop and entered. "Welcome my friends to photo press were we... Princess Luna?!"
Amount of time it takes to turn a flower in a photo later...
"Okay doke miss Luna it's all done." the flower had been pressed into the picture. Luna smiled widely.
When she got back, the sun was setting behind the mountains, creating a wonderful view.
The doors opened and the recruits bowed to princess Celestia and Luna. There were only about 5 recruits in the hall including Gilda. Celestia walked over to the captain. "I thought there was more than 5 recruits." asked Celestia.
2 of the guards jumped for joy and went off to a bar to celebrate, 1 pony shed tears of joy and Raisan had to slap some sense back into him, zero and Gilda however were told to wait behind for their results though.
"Hi there Gilda!" said Luna in excited mood. Gilda smiled at Luna.
They stood in front of princess Celestia, captain Raisin and Princess Luna. "We have excellent news for the 2 of you."
Gilda went back to her room but was stopped by Luna. "Congratulations, royal guard Gilda of canterlot." Luna said in fake tough pony voice which made Gilda laugh a bit. "Oh and I was looking through some stuff in my room and I found this."
(Note: the characters, vile and zero are characters who will pop up here and there and if you've guessed, there named after characters from megaman x.)

A few weeks had passed since Gilda was told that she was going to be a royal guard and ever since then everything was going great with Luna. They had grown to be best friends and shared everything with each other. Luna was always happy now that Gilda would be staying in the castle permanently at her request. Even Celestia was happy that Gilda was staying.
Luna awoke early in the morning to heavy knocking on her bedroom door. She opened to see her sister with a look of worry on her face. "LUNA!" Celestia was in a fit of worry for her sister. "Carm down sister. What’s wrong?" asked Luna.
Luna knocked on Gildas door. "Should I tell her about discord or not?" thought Luna. "I think you should." said the voice in Luna’s head. "But what if she doesn’t understand?" said Luna. "Doesn’t understand what?" asked Gilda how had just opened the door. She had a look of confusion on her face. "I’ll explain later but for now we need to go somewhere safe." before Gilda could ask, Luna grabbed Gilda’s claw's, opened a portal and they both went through to Luna’s private garden.
"Luna slow down for just a minute!" Gilda stopped Luna. "Now explain what's happening or I’m not moving another step!"
In Luna’s mind...
Luna awoke in a world of nothing except herself. "Hello! Is anyone here?!" shouted Luna in her canterlot voice.
What Luna awoke to was Gilda by her side, holding her in her sleep. "Gilda are you okay?" whispered Luna. Gilda’s eyes opened up to see Luna.
"Looks like my little trick is going swimmingly well." echoed a voice from behind Gilda.
Luna woke up and saw Gilda shouting at discord. "Ahh miss Luna. I trust that you had a good nap." said discord.
"Why would I do that? Now if you excuse me, I’m leaving now. I’ve got a date with princess Celestia, though I will leave Luna with some milk." discord throwed some chocolate milk and Luna but Gilda covered her and took the explosion. Luna looked over at Gilda, seeing Gilda hold back tears of pain before fainting on top of Luna.
Many hours later...
Luna felt tired but she saw something happen. The sky stopped flashing from night to day, the soap on the ground turned back into grass and the clouds stopped raining chocolate and went back to normal. "Gilda wake up." Luna nudged Gilda but got no response. Luna moved herself from under Gilda and saw the damage to her friend: one of her wings was completely destroyed and she had lost a large amount of blood. Luna in a rush opened a portal carried Gilda back through with her magic and portaled into her room.
She placed Gilda on her bed and went to get some help. Luna ran out of her room and accidently bumped into her sister.
Gilda layed motionless on Luna’s bed, only breathing every now and then. "Maybe I can fix her up." Luna horn shown bright but nothing happened to Gilda. She didn't move, she didn't heal, nothing at all. Luna started crying, this time in much greater quantity then before. "Please don't die on me Gilda. I don't want to lose you. Please just wake up." Luna kept crying then the door opened and some doctors came in and started to move her to the hospital.
1 hospital trip later...
Gilda was placed on the hospital and examined by the doctors. After a while, one of the doctors came over to Luna.
Luna waited by Gilda’s bed all night long, waiting for her friend to wake up, all the while Luna thought to herself about the operation. "Should I go through with it? I could die but Gilda could fly again and that means everything to her." Luna sighed.

It’s been a week ever since the injury and everything seems to have gotten worse. Everyday Luna would go to the hospital and visit Gilda and stay for the rest of the day, waiting for her friend to wake up. She would ask the doctors if she would wake up yet the answer would be the same every time though. They didn't know when Gilda would wake up ether.
At home, Celestia was worried for her sister. She wanted to tell Luna to stop visiting her, to stop hurting herself, to stop waiting for something that might not happen but that would just make things worse though. Celestia wondered though, did Luna consider Gilda more than a friend. She decided to find out herself.
Luna was heading off to the hospital as this had grown to be a normal custom to her now. She didn't bring anything along except the flute that Gilda played now and then. She often played it at the hospital to see if she would get a reaction but it never worked. On her way out of the castle, she was stopped by her sister.
"Hay zero, got a minute?" asked vile. "Yeah sure what's wrong?" asked zero in a deep voice.
Vile headed to princess Celestia in the main hall to speak with her. When he arrived, Celestia looked very happy for some reason. "Greetings vile." said Celestia. "Your majesty. What do you require of me." vile bowed to Celestia.
Luna was still waiting next to Gilda, just hoping she would wake up. "Visiting hours are almost over Miss Luna." said the doctor.
"Hay Gilda, Luna here though you probably can't see me or hear me for that matter. Gilda if you don't wake up, then I’ll go to sleep with you. I love you Gilda, more than anything in the world. I want to play you a song for you, if that's okay with you."
The next day...
Celestia had packed what she would need to meet her friend as had vile. They travelled by chariot over there.
"Celestia!" the griffon gave a warm hug to Celestia. "Hello rouge or blaze as you prefer to be called." said Celestia.
10 minutes later...
They made it to the inn. It was surprisingly big and had a sense of adventure to it, thought that might be because that how the outside was decorated to look like a fortress. Vile, Celestia and blaze went inside and were met with some glares from some of the griffons, mostly at vile for some reason. Blaze went up to his brother and told him about his friends.
After a while, it became night and Celestia and vile went to bed, with vile going to sleep almost instantly. Celestia smiled and looked at vile for a minute. "He’s a good friend but maybe he's being to kind to me? None of the other guards act this way around me so why?" thought Celestia as she went to sleep.

The sun rose through the windows of the palace giving light and reveal to the palace walls and all that lived in them.. Except one room in particular, Luna’s room. She stayed up trying to think of a way to help her friend. She spent hours every day looking through hundreds of books, trying to find a way to wake up her friend but she had not found what she had wanted but it would do. It was a mind melding spell that would allow Luna to enter Gilda’s mind. All she had to do was get some ingredients.
She went outside her room and looked around for someone to help her. "Morning Luna." said zero.
They went into the canterlot shopping district and started to search for the first item on the list: phoenix feathers.
"Ello there, what ya buying?" asked the robed pony.
Zero ripped of the hood of the robe to reveal who the pony was. He had a scar on his face a black hair but nothing else to make him stand out. "You realise it's against the law to insult a member of the royal family!" exclaimed zero.
Luna looked rather upset and sighed. "Zero, you said that Celestia had a relationship like mine and you said it ended on a sad note. Why?" asked Luna.
Meanwhile with Celestia and vile...
Vile woke up to see the piercing the windows, making his eye's sting a bit but nothing much. He looked over and saw Celestia asleep, holding him in her front legs. Vile started to look over her, admiring her body but he stopped and thought to himself "remember vile, she's a princess and you’re a guard. Besides you have more important things to worry about." vile went to the small bathroom and washed his face.
After some food, Celestia and vile went off to meet blaze and discuss what was going to happen to the griffon kingdom.
He has a large sofa and a fireplace in the living room along with decorations of both weapons and some animal heads mounted on his wall. “I take it that you hunt sir blaze?" asked vile.
"So what exactly do you require blaze?" asked vile.
On the way back, vile said something. "Thank you." vile looked up at Celestia. "I needed this." Celestia was confused.
Back with Luna and Zero...
It was late in the afternoon and Luna and zero had gathered the ingredients they needed for Luna’s potion.
She placed out the ingredients and read the instructions.
She went off to her bedroom and started to fall asleep. "Hopefully this will work." Luna fell asleep and the potions effects took place...

Luna woke up but not in the real world. She woke up in what appeared to be an open field that had hundreds of ponies asleep and dreaming. Luna walked a for a bit a saw that whenever she got close to a pony, a door would appear right beside them, allowing her to enter their dreams and thoughts. But Luna was looking for Gilda's thoughts.
Looking around she saw the dreams of everyone in canterlot at first but that was at first. As she continued to search for Gilda's thoughts, more and more dreams started to appear. Luna started to get rather annoyed by this.
They entered the hospital and saw many dreaming ponies though they seemed at pain with themselves.
She entered into Gilda's thoughts and saw open plains as far as the eye can see, a sunset in the horizon and a full moon as well with the stars out. "So these are Gilda's thoughts? I was expecting something else but this is nice." thought Luna. She started to fly for a bit but not to high so she wouldn’t crash. She saw in the distance a Pegasus and checked to see who it was. She was blue and had a rainbow mane. "Wait. Is this the rainbow dash that's always in the letters? It couldn’t be." Luna went up to her. "Excuse me." Luna said to the rainbow haired Pegasus. "Hi there. What’s with you?" she asked.
They travelled for about an hour now and Luna started to realize something about Gilda from this.
The outside looked like a wreak but the inside was much worse. It was cold and damp, there was no furniture, the paint on the walls peeling off and there were multiple holes in the walls. Luna headed up stairs and looked into one of the rooms to see Gilda awake and stretching her wings. Gilda saw Luna and smiled. "Hi there Luna. I haven't seen you in a while." she was very happy to see Luna, though maybe too happy. "Gilda when was the last time you saw me?" asked Luna.
Luna got out of her bed and went straight to the hospital. She wanted to see Gilda wake up and nothing would stop her.
Luna knelled besides Luna bed. Gilda eye's started to open. To Gilda, everything was blurry. She couldn’t see what was in front of her though she recognized the voice. It was Luna's voice. "Luna is that you?" asked Gilda.
The journey back was rather slow. Most of the time Gilda would fly everywhere so she's wasn't that much of walker so Luna kept by her side the way back. "Thanks for being there when I woke up. To be honest I thought no one cared enough to bother but you did and I owe you for that." Gilda smiled at Luna. "You don't owe me anything. You would have done the same thing. Besides I want to ask you something tomorrow." they approached the castle and Luna took Gilda into her room.
"Thanks Luna. I don't want to be alone tonight." Gilda went on her back but immediately shot upwards from the pain in her back. "I’m gonna have to get used to that." said Gilda. She sighed. And went into the bed again with Luna. They both went to sleep with Luna being happy and Gilda being worried for her future. She couldn’t fly and to her that was everything.

late at night everyone was in a deep sleep, dreaming about things like the future and happy thoughts, all at peace of mind with the world... all except Gilda. the pain from her missing wing kept her up all the night and she could't sleep.
"Gilda, are you having trouble sleep?" Gilda sighed and explained that the pain from her missing wing was making it impossible for her to sleep. "i have something that will help." Luna got out of a drawer near her bed a small vial of light blue liquid.
the next morning...
Gilda woke and felt happy for the first time in a while. she looked over and saw that Luna was still asleep.
Luna finished making the pancakes and went out of the kitchen and saw Gilda. "hi there Gilda. i see you came for the pancakes i see?" Luna giggled a bit and gave the Delicious breackfest to Gilda. Luna ate her's in a civilized way were as Gilda ate her's in one bite. "these are good Luna. you seem to be good everything except flying." luna smiled.
zero and raisan were talking in the hall "and that's how i made a dragon set fire to himself!" said raisan, leaving zero with a shocked face. "okay that's bad ass!" zero gave a salute to raisan. "no need for that, i am after a dragon slayer. why did you think Celestia made me the captain?" vile walked along to zero. "hey zero i need to ask you something a bit odd?"
"so anyway back to what i was saying." zero took a bite out of his sandwich. "you gotta just ask her and get a answer and that's all. it's worked for me and it shall work, i swear on my sword!"
vile arrived at the library and luckily for him Celestia was there. vile walked up to Celestia.
"vile do you mind if ask but why did you want to go out with me anyway?" asked Celestia, making vile blush a bit.
it was late at night and everyone was going to bed now. vile, zero and raisin had gone home and Celestia had also gone to sleep as well. Luna and Gilda were still awake however. Luna had taken Gilda to the outskirts of canterlot for some star gazing.
"that constalation over there is orions belt." Luna pointed out to Gilda.

Luna had woken up early to look after her private garden, seeing as winter was coming up.
Luna grabbed some change and went off with Gilda to a little restraunt. "This is the place." Gilda and Luna went inside the small and deserted restraunt. "This is rather quiet." said Luna looking around at the place. it had some deserts and ice cream so it was sweet shop but there was no kids any were, no pony's to enjoy the music that played in the background, no one.
"Gilda!" the shop keeper came out and ran up to Gilda. "Twirly my friend, how are you?"
10 minutes later...
Gilda and Luna stopped laughing as the sugar rush wore off.
"Where are we going to anyway?" asked Gilda. Luna stopped and looked disappointed. "Never mind." said Luna, saddened.
"Where are we going?" asked Luna, holding tightly on to Gilda. "Just a bit higher." replied Gilda.
The day had gone by so quickly that it was sunset now.
"There you go Luna, all cosy and warm." Gilda placed Luna on her bed but as she left, Luna grabbed Gilda and held her close.

A few months had passed since Luna and Gilda first kissed and it was nearing winter. Over the course of the months Luna and Gilda stuck to just being friends for the most part. Luna wanted to reveal her relationship but Gilda told her that it wouldn’t end well. Luna didn't like the idea of hiding secrets but if Gilda said it would end badly, she would keep quiet about it, until Gilda would agree to tell about it as well.
Luna and Gilda were packing their bags and getting ready for the holiday they had planned. Gilda had packed her bag with some of Twirly's muffins, a hat and some other things as were as Luna brought some books in case if there was nothing to do.
They got to the train station and got on board though there was no one else there.
1 hour later...
The train stopped and Gilda and Luna got off. "So which way now Gilda?" asked Luna.
They arrived at the cabin which was rather large and had more than enough room for Luna and Gilda.
They went inside and looked around. The room was fairly big with large sofa and a fireplace as well.
Luna walked down the hall and saw there a few door's to multiple rooms. The first door opened up to a balcony with a pool.
"Luna, what are you doing?" asked a confused Gilda. Luna had an embarrassed look on her face.
"I never knew frank had this." Gilda looked over the large pool that was still clean despite the fact that now one had been there for months. Luna dived in but immediately jumped out. "It’s freezing!" exclaimed Luna.
"This feels so good, I could stay here forever and ever. But I feel funny though." Luna smiled and lazily let her body float in the water with Gilda laughing a bit here and there.
"Luna!? What are you doing?!" Gilda exclaimed, getting out of the pool with the filly Luna.
Luna ran off and jumped in the snow, disappearing out of Gilda's sights, though Luna dived in and out of the snow rather easily. Luna jumped out of the snow right at Gilda but she caught Luna. "Yay you caught me Gilda! I love you."
Luna got on the couch and fell asleep, so Gilda carried Luna off to bed and placed her gently under the covers.

small pony under the sun chapter 2
vile woke up in his room, and felt rather happy. Celestia had offered him a proper home, a bed that wasn't filled with who knows what inside, it was close to work and he was near the pony that he considered his best friend Celestia.
vile got out of bed, washed his face and went to do his duties as usual, standing outside the royal library.
zero came along to vile. "hay there vile, how's dating the princess going?" zero asked, smiling even though he had a black eye.
"hello there vile and um... I’m sorry I don't know your name Mr?" Celestia looked at zero with curiosity.
an hour or so later...
zero brought the cake back and set it on a table vile had set up.
Celestia went to her room though forgot to lock the door, allowing vile to enter.
a few hours later...
Luna and Gilda met up with Celestia and vile at dinner.
it had become night and due to Luna being a filly again, she fell to sleep rather early. vile had tucked her into bed and went off to his room were Celestia was waiting. "thank you vile...for everything."

Celestia woke up to a small thumping on her chest. She opened her eyes to see Luna, still as a filly bouncing on her.
Luna jumped of Celestias head and went to her room and grabbed a violin and a flute.
Celestia and Luna arrived at twirly's sweet shop and brought some sugar explosions.
"Luna what do you want to do now?" Luna got on Celestias back. "Can we go to the park we used to go to?"
Celestia made it to the place and Luna had fallen asleep on her back. "Luna wake up." Celestia lifted Luna with her magic which woke her up. "Where are we anyway?" Luna looked around and a shop. "I thought maybe you'd like something to play with." Luna smiled and went inside the store. The shop was filled with toy's to the point that if a child was locked inside, they would never want to come out. "Luna how long does that spell last for?" Celestia asked though Luna shrugged.
By the time they had gotten back, the sun had started to set and Luna had fallen asleep.

It was morning in canterlot, as Celestias sun was high in the sky warming the ponies, unicorns and Pegasus of Equestia.
"I got my Armour today Luna, you want to see it?" Luna nodded her head and set off to Gilda's room.
Gilda opened the door to see princess Celestia... and a purple unicorn.
After a long silence, Twilight spoke up.
Dash gave a hate filled glare to Gilda.
Zero was walking through the market and made it to a muffin stand.
They sat down and started to chat about what had happened.
"Ditzy were the heck are we?" Zero rolled his eyes around and saw so much pink.
Zero and Fleur were silent for a while until Zero spoke up.
A while of walking later...
"Well here it is, home sweet home." Zero pointed to the medium sized house near the park.
Back with Gilda...
Gilda met up with Luna who was still teaching twilight some magic.
later...
It had become night time, Luna had raised the moon high into the sky. All the stars were out and were brighter than usual.
okay people, there will be two chapters, one with clop and one without next. Just a warning that's all. Just go on the chapter that has no lemons in the title, then that's the one if you you’re not a fan of mature situations and with lemons is for those who do like mature situations.

the small pony under the sun chapter 1
Before I go any further I would like to point out that any chapter "the small pony under the sun" is essentially the chapters that focus entirely on vile and Celestia. Why am I doing this? I can write small chapters about the romance in case if I can't make a proper chapter for the story. That and this romance will probably rather short lived. These chapters are a lot shorter than the usual so don't kill me please.
"Okay let's see: sandwiches, some salad, some drink. Yep I’m all set. Maybe I should bring some muffins as well? What did my cousin tell me once? "A muffin a day keeps the frowns away little cousin, aw you’re so small!" okay... I’m set."
On the way out he came across Celestia smiling at him. "Hello vile. I came to tell you that we have to have our picnic earlier than expected due to a meeting later." vile smiled. "Well I have everything ready so we could head off now." Celestia wrapped vile in her wing and teleported her and vile to a space outside of canterlot.
Vile fell over from being slightly dizzy from the teleporting but looked around and saw a most beautiful sight.
"This is nice vile. I haven't had any time to relax for a while and no time to spend with my friends." Celestia sighed again.
"This is nice." said vile. "I would love to have a place out here one day. A bit of a trip to canterlot but it would be worth it."
The building was damaged and rather dirty, with broken windows and holes in the ceiling.
"This is your room here; just down the hall is my room. Make yourself at home and if you need anything, just ask."

It had become night time, Luna had raised the moon high into the sky. All the stars were out and were brighter than usual.
The two walked through the dark hallways of Canterlot Castle, with only the moonlight and the few torches placed around the corners lighting their way. They walked in a comfortable silence with only the small clinking of Gilda’s armour creating any sound. Once they reached the Griffon’s room, Gilda held the door open with a taloon and ushered in the princess of the night.
Gilda’s room was simple, yet lavish. It was decorated in velvet red and gold trim from the curtains to her balcony, to her bed sheets. A large dresser with an equally sized mirror sat across from the bed with some personal belongings of Gilda spread on top of them.
Luna trotted over to Gilda’s bed and laid down elegantly, “mmmm” she purred as soft as a cat, “Your bed is just as comfortable as mine.” Luna commented with half lidded eyes.
“I guess you could say so...” Gilda replied with a small smile as she laid down next her lover.
Luna raised a delicate eyebrow at her, “Why don’t we find out just how comfortable this bed is?” the princess asked with a barely noticeable wink.
Gilda felt her cheeks flush slightly, “Are you sure about this Luna? I mean I don’t kn—” Luna shushed her complaints with a soft kiss on her beak.
The two kissed back and forth softly, tongues intertwining in a gentle embrace as they held each other. When the two broke apart, Princess Luna broke the comfortable silence that had formed.
