Chapters Chapter 2: Twilight's Arrival
Brock had been preparing the spell in the field when he looked up and saw Twilight riding in a chariot overhead.
"My dearest Twilight, i am sending you to supervise the celebration preparations in this years location, Ponyville. And i have an even more essential task for you to complete, make some friends!" spike said to Twilight as the flew overhead.
"Hey at least Princess Celestia arranged for you to stay in a library. Doesn't that make you happy?" spike asked.
"Yes, yes it does spike, because I'm right and after I'm done checking up on the preparations I'm going to do research on this whole nightmare moon myth." Twilight said.
"But when will you make friends like the princess said?" Spike asked.
"Spike the princess said i need to check on preparations, but the fate of Equestria does not rest on me making friends." Twilight said proudly.
"Oh miss sparkle, you have no idea how wrong you are." Brock whispered and watched as she flew down to land. Then Brock gasped and sprinted into town he stopped as he saw Twilight walk up to Pinkie Pie.
"Uuh, hello?" Twilight said weakly. Pinkie jumped into the air and gasped and then shot away as fast as Brock had gotten there. "Well that was interesting. Ok what's first on the list, Spike?"
"The celebration banquet preparations at the farm called, Sweet Apple Acres." Twilight and spike kept talking as they walked away. Brock realized he was running out of time to get to the town hall to assist in the decor for the celebration. He sprinted there and slowly walked inside.
"Hello? Hello? Is anybody here?" Brock called.
"Over here, just a moment please." A female voice called. Brock walked towards it and gasped at who he saw. Who he saw was a beautiful Woman using her magic to sort through a bunch of different colors of ribbon and then finally picked one and turned to face him. "Oh hello, my name is rarity and you are?" She asked and walked forward.
"My name is Brock FIreheart, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance miss rarity." Brock said and bowed.
"Oh a gentleman are we?" Rarity asked with a snicker.
"Yes i am quite the gentleman, and i have a to-die-for taste in fashion." Brock replied with that and she went on inquiring on how she had never met him before. "Oh i don't live inside of Ponyville, i live near the base of the mountain that Canterlot is built on." Brock said with a smile.
"Oh you live below Canterlot? It must be quite boring living by yourself isn't it?" Rarity asked.
"Yes, well it allows me to keep up on my studies in magic, fashion and other things." Brock said and waved a hand.
"You like to... study?" Rarity asked.
"Yes of course its among the only things i do in my spare time." Brock said with a smile
"Well then you should stop by the library in town." Rarity said and smiled.
"Oh yes, i used to work there until today." Brock said with a frown.
"Oh why would you quit if you love to study?" Rarity asked.
"Oh i didn't quit i was forced from my job by Princess Celestia." Brock said.
"You were WHAT?! Thats just awful! Why would anybody want to take you away from something you love so much?" Rarity asked angrily.
"Im not particularly sure of that all i know is that somebody named Twilight Sparkle is coming to town and she's going to be staying in the library for a few days until after the Celebration. Which brings me back to the reason i stopped by." Brock said and stood up.
"Oh, and why is that?" Rarity asked.
"I heard someone say you were decorating the town hall for the Princess and i stopped by to see if i could help." Brock said with a smile.
"Oh of course you could help me with the decorating! Why didn't you say something earlier?" Rarity asked and stood up.
"I was telling you about myself and you were telling me about yourself." Brock said sarcastically.
"Oh... Right well to start off you could help me by hanging up a few of these banners while i run and grab some more ribbon from my boutique, i'll be right back!" Rarity yelled and ran home.
"Finally i can stop using this uptight voice and attitude. Now to hang these banners up and wait for Twilight to arrive and Rarity to return." Brock said and laughed quietly to himself. It had been about ten minutes before Rarity came back and started decorating again. And not five minutes later had Twilight Sparkle walked in.
"Decorations.... Beautiful...." Spike said hazily.
"Yes the decor is coming along nicely this should be quick." Twilight said.
"Not the decorations..... Her. How are my scales?! Are they straight?" Spike asked before being lifted onto Twilights back.
"Focus Casanova. Uh hello?" Twilight said.
"Just a moment please im in the zone, as it were." Rarity said happily. "Aah, Glitter always does the trick does it not? Now what can i do-" Rarity screamed when she turned to face twilight.
"What....... What happened to your hair darling?!
"Oh its a long story, but in just here to check up on the decorations and i'll be out of your hair." Twilight said smiling.
"Out of MY hair what about YOUR hair?!" About ten minutes later Brock started sweeping up Twilight's hair. After having it cut she left. Brock looked around quickly and took the hair and levitated it onto his bag and placed it next to the scale he yanked off of spike earlier.
"Yes i have all the ingredients i need to finish the spell." After a half an hour more Brock left the town hall and waved goodbye to Rarity. He then sprinted to the crescent moon circle he painted on the grass. "Good its still here." He placed the dragon scale and lock of hair in the center of the circle and encircled the crescent moon with sulfur. the smell burned his nostrils but he quickly casted a spell on the sulfur to eliminate the smell. "Good that was horrid..... And now i wait."
Chapter 3: Old Hatreds Never Die
Brock had sat and waited for only an hour and a half before the moon was in the sky. he sat shaking with joy as he saw the stars start to align in the sky behind the moon.
"Come on.... COME ON!!" Brock shouted in his head. and yet his wishes were fulfilled and the moon lit up brighter than before in the sky. "Finally the time has come to bring back my master...... NOW NIGHTMARE MOON I SUMMON YOU BACK TO THE WORLD OF THE LIVING!" Brock screamed out loud and fired an endless beam of arcane lightning at the crescent moon he had painted in the grass many hours before. The circle lit up and the dragon scale and the lock of twilight's hair floated into the air and materialized into something that was unfathomable. Brock saw that the hair formed a baby girl about the size of a small dog. When she opened her eyes they were a greenish-turquois color with dragon pupils and a sky blue outline. She opened her eyes and looked at Brock and she yawned in mid-air and stared at him smiling.
"What is this? Why is it not WORKING?! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!" Brock screamed at himself and the baby started crying but then, just then, a light shot out from the moon and a black sphere shot down into the girl followed by a deep-sea blue streak with white dots and disappeared into the baby. She stopped crying and then shrank back and grew to the size of a full grown adult but taller. She had the same eyes, a set of pitch black cloths and her hair had changed from a violet colored purple to a very bright sea blue and it had white stars all over it so it looked like the night sky. Brock smiled at seeing his thousand year quest come to fruition.
"Rise nightmare moon..... RISE! I have summoned you back to our world so that you may take your revenge out on the Sun Tyrant, Celestia..... RISE NOW, AND BE MY QUEEN ONCE MORE!!!!" Brock screamed and a flash of light escaped from the woman. But this light wasn't blinding by any means, it wasn't bright either. It was a flash of pitch-black light. Brock kept the chain of arcane lightning going as the dragon scale split into seven pieces and grew into the shape of a few different pieces of deep blue armor. The armor molded onto the body of the woman around her horn and her cloths. She had a chest piece with a white crescent moon on it. She had a wristband on each hand and a pair of shoes that were spiked up to about her knee's and a casing that crossed her back and surrounded the base of her wings. Then the lightning stopped and Brock fell to his right knee then stood back up. He then looked at his handy-work. His once glorious Queen Nightmare Moon stood before him in her once great state.
"My queen, it is an honor to be in your presence after a thousand years." He knelt before her and she smiled at him.
"Rise my great servant as your quest is complete. But there is something you must do for me now." Nightmare spoke the words quietly in his ear.
"What can i do for you my queen?"Brock asked her.
"I want you to got to Canterlot and alert celestia to my presence." Nightmare told him.
"But why my queen?" Brock asked hesitantly.
"So that i may make sure she stays out of the way." Nightmare spoke clearly and calmly.
"Very well my queen i will be back soon." And with that Brock warped to Canterlot at the main entrance of the castle.
"HALT, who goes there?" A guard asked him.
"Y-You must let me speak to celestia immediately!" Brock begged them.
"State your business, now." The guard said sternly.
"NIGHTMARE MOON HAS RETURNED!" Brock shouted. Upon hearing these words the guards fell over and fainted. The gate slid open and Brock sprinted forward. He entered the Throne room of the castle and saw Celestia sitting there. "PRINCESS CELESTIA! COME QUICK!"Brock shouted and stopped at the base of the throne.
"Calm down my subject, who are you?" Celestia asked in her heavenly voice.
"M-M-My name i-is Brock Fireheart." He said while gasping for air.
"Calm down what is the matter?" Celestia asked again.
"Y-You must come quick, all of equestria is in danger!" Brock said as he caught his breath.
"From what?" Celestia asked.
"NIGHTMARE MOON HAS RETURNED!" Brock screamed. Celestia heard these words and froze solid her pupils shrank to the size of pins and she stared at the terrified man.
"W-Where is she?" Celestia asked shakily.
"S-She's down there in the field right there!" Brock said and Celestia looked and saw her sister's hair and body staring at ponyville. She wasn't moving it was like she was turned to stone.
"Come on Brock lets go." After hearing this Brock teleported into the field followed by celestia. She flew out the window and landed on the ground about fifteen yards away from her sister. "Hello Nightmare..." Celestia said angrily.
"Aah Celestia, its been soooo long since we've talked. We have much to discuss." Nightmare said with a devilish grin.
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked and walked forward and stepped into the crescent moon circle and Brock Smiled behind her.
"Oh how you are always so gullible sister, it is truly amusing..." Nightmare said with a chuckle.
"What are you talking about Nightmare?!" Celestia half shouted.
"Celestia please calm yourself, you've only stepped right into my trap, quite literally speaking." Nightmare said and smiled.
"What trap? What are you talking about?!" Celestia asked angrily.
"Look around you sister." Nightmare said.
"Its an image of your cutie mark so what?" Celestia asked irritably. "Oh but its far more than that dear sister...... Its a sulfur circle...." Nightmare said with a cackle. Celestia froze and jumped back as she neared the edge of the circle
"Sister how could you?!" Celestia shouted.
"I did it just so i can get my revenge.... And to keep you out of my way in the process.
"By doing what exactly?" Celestia asked shakily.
"By sending you to the sun, and keeping you there to make you feel the pain that i once felt!" Nightmare shouted and with that she pushed Celestia into the edge of the sulfur circle and she was electrocuted. Celestia fell to her knees and gasped. "Now who's bowing down to who sister?!" And with that Nightmare sent Celestia to the sun and locked her there. "Now to make my grand appearance. Brock go hide in the crowd in the town hall and ill be making an appearance shortly." Nightmare said and turned towards the town.
"What are you going to do my queen?" Brock asked as he slowly walked into Ponyville.
"Im just going to give the ponies of this town a little scare." Nightmare said and laughed and vanished. Brock teleported to the entrance of the town hall and he walked inside.
"Citizens of ponyville it is my great pleasure to welcome the Woman who gives us the sun each and every morning, PRINCESS CELESTIA!" The mayor said and moved to the side. The crowd clapped and cheered happily as Rarity pulled open a curtain only to reveal thin air. The town gasped as a blueish cloud of smoke appeared and turned into nightmare moon.
"Ooh my beloved subjects, its been soooo long since I've seen your precious little sun loving faces ." Nightmare snarled.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH OUR PRINCESS?!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"Why? Am i not royal enough for you? Dont you know who i am? Did you not see he signs?! Or does my crown simply no longer count since i have been imprisoned for a thousand years?!" She snapped back and Twilight stepped forward.
"I saw the signs and i know who you are." twilight said angrily. "Your the woman in the moon, NIGHTMARE MOON!" Twilight shouted and this made even Brock shocked at how much she really knew.
"Finally somebody who actually remembers who i am. Then you must know why im here then?" Nightmare asked.
"Your here to.... To........" Twilight whimpered. Nightmare chuckled and smiled.
"Remember this day you little cretins, for it was your last. from this moment onward. The night. Will last. FOREVER!!!!!!" Nightmare screamed and laughed maniacally before vanishing into thin air.
Chapter 4: Stalking Prey
Ponyville was in an uproar, everybody either sprinting through the streets or cowering in their homes. Yes it was true Nightmare Moon had returned and Celestia was nowhere to be found.
"Where's Princess Celestia?!" Twilight screamed to her new "friends".
"Aah got no idea but i know she 'aint here!" Applejack shouted back.
"She's not in Canterlot either!" Rainbow dash shouted with fluttershy close behind.
"My word, where could that woman have gone to?" Rarity questioned.
"I think she's playing hide and seek!" Pinkie said cheerfully. The other five looked at her angrily. "What? she could be...." Pinkie said. Twilight had retreated to her library home to research the Elements of Harmony.
"UUUGH! HOW CAN I STOP NIGHTMARE MOON WITHOUT THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY?!" Twilight yelled angrily only to get smashed into by Rainbow Dash.
"AND JUST WHAT ARE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY?! AND HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT NIGHTMARE?! ARE YOU A SPY?" Rainbow was pulled back by A.J.
"Woah there nelly! she 'aint no spy, but she sure does know what's goin' on, dont'cha twilight?" Applejack said as her and the other five closed in on Twi.
"I read all about the legacy and predictions of Nightmare Moon. Something called the elements of harmony are the only things that can stop her. But i have no idea what they are, or where to find them. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY DO!" Twilight was cut off by pinkie's voice.
"The elements of harmony, a reference guide!" Pinkie said happily.
"HOW DID YOU FIND THAT?!" Twilight yelled.
"It was under E!" Pinkie said triumphantly. Twilight frowned and started reading aloud.
"The elements of harmony, an ancient power said to bring peace to all the land. There are six elements but only five are known, Generosity, Kindness, Laughter, Honesty, and Loyalty. The sixth element is a complete mystery. The last known location of the elements of harmony was in the ancient castle of the royal sister princesses. Which is now known better as....." Twilight stopped and gasped. "THE EVERFREE FOREST!" All six of them said aloud.
"B-b-but the everfree forest is evil and dangerous!" Fluttershy squealed in terror.
"Yeah and it 'aint natural. Folks say it don't work the same way as equestria." Applejack said weakly. They all stopped talking. "Hey did you guys hear that?" AJ asked.
"hear what?" Rarity asked.
"That noise. Sounded like a stick breakin'" Applejack said and looked around.
"Hmm, no i didnt hear it." Twilight said.
"I think somebody's followin' us." Applejack said. Brock gasped silently as he knew he had been found out, but if he could move away from this area maybe they wouldn't find him. So he crawled away silent as the night. When he was far enough away he teleported to nightmare's castle. Nightmare sat upon the throne looking around at the room as if searching for something when Brock warped into the room.
"Aah, you have returned. what did you uncover?" She asked him.
"The six girls are on their way here. And if i may ask, what were you doing when i arrived?" Brock asked. This brought nightmare's attention shooting back to Brock. "M-my apologies my queen!" He said and bowed.
"No no its alright, i was just searching for something." She said and looked around.
"Such as what my queen?" Brock asked.
"An ancient room that only i can open." Nightmare said and looked back at him.
"And may i ask what is inside?" He asked her as he stood.
"I will tell you when the time is right, but for now head to the library in this castle and keep yourself busy. Im going to attempt to stop the fools who dare challenge my rule." And with that Nightmare turned into a cloud and flew out the door.
"Hmm, how can the library still be in tact after all this time?" Brock thought to himself as he walked up the stairs. He stopped when he saw the library entrance glowing with magic. He was amazed when he walked inside the barrier and saw the entire library was encased in the barrier. "Amazing, even after a thousand years the library where i used to live is still completely in tact." Brock said to himself. He was soon engrossed in his studies and he soon found that he had fallen asleep in the pages of a book. He had looked out the window to see what time of day it was. Only then did he remember it was eternal night so he checked the clock and it was around two o' clock in the afternoon. He had rushed downstairs to see if his queen had returned. Thankfully she had not, but just then she whisped through the door and materialized into an adult woman. "My queen you have returned." He said and bowed.
"Yes Brock i am back and i should have taken care of them for good." She said with a grin.
"What did you do?" Brock asked.
"I sent an angry hydra after them." She said.
"Isn't that a little extreme?" Brock asked her.
"Nothing is to extreme when it comes to the challenge of my rule." She said sternly.
"Very well my queen is there anything you need?" Brock asked.
"Hmm, there is one thing you could do." She said.
"Anything my queen." Brock said. At this a black light flashed and Brock opened his eyes to have a set of brownish colored wings on his back.
"I need you to keep an eye on the six, don't make your presence known to them stay high enough that they cant see you but stay low enough that you can see them." She said and sat down on her throne.
"As you command my queen." With that Brock flew out the window and vanished from her sight. Brock was loving the feel of being able to fly through the air like a Pegasus but still be able to be a natural unicorn. He closed his eyes for a moment and ended up smashing into a tall tree. The collision sent him spiraling through the air and he managed to stop himself before it happened again. When he looked again he could get a direct view of the six girls. He casted a spell to turn himself invisible and he flew in close to them so he could hear them.
"Woo, that was a close call." Applejack said.
"Yeah thanks to twilight we were able to take down that hydra." Dash said.
"Yeah great job twilight!" Pinkie said.
"Oh it was nothing, all it took was an uprooted tree to the back of the head and it was over." Twilight said with a chuckle.
"Still it must take an awful lot of magic to do that!" The other five were congratulating her and laughing. They were approaching the destroyed bridge that led to nightmares castle. Brock gasped and flew back to nightmare and became visible again.
"My queen the six girls are at the bridge!" He shouted.
"WHAT!? HOW DID THEY GET PAST THE HYDRA?!" She yelled.
"Apparently Twilight Sparkle uprooted a tree with her magic and knocked it out with it." Brock said.
"Oh..... Well you have been very loyal to me, here." Nightmare said and stepped off the throne and opened a door to the side of the room. "Inside this room, lies a reward i have waited eons to give you for your services to me. Take these and hide in the western tower of the castle until i am through with the six." She said to him.
"Yes my queen whatever you desire." With that he warped his rewards and himself to the western tower.
Chapter 5: Nightmare's End
When Brock had arrived in the tower he opened the box he had been given and saw a few things. The first was a set of swords with the moon insignia on the sheaths and a white handle. He unsheathed them and saw a pitch black blade for each and then resheathed them. The second was a deep sea blue colored set of armor with a moon insignia an the chest piece he place the armor over his body and it clicked onto his body like it was made for him exactly. And the third was a black book with a sun AND moon insignia on it with a title that read "Sonsuz elm Tome" which roughly translates to "Tome Of Infinite Knowledge" from an ancient language that is now far beyond comprehensible.
"B-b-but this is hundreds of years, maybe even EONS older than the two princesses! How did she get her hands on it?!" He decided not to question it and immediately opened the book and started reading. Very soon after beginning the first page Brock had heard a sharp magical sound and walked to the window and saw Nightmare warp into the eastern tower and Brock looked closer but couldn't see clearly. "Skull blackas venn....." Brock whispered and his eyes changed color and shape to that of a dragon's. He could see much clearer now he saw twilight sparkle and nightmare moon in the tower. And he heard shouting and then a large thunder like sound. Brock looked closer and saw the elements of harmony shatter. "YES!" Brock nearly screamed as he saw them turn to shards. He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and fell to the floor. "Oh no.... It cant be... It JUST CANT BE!" He said angrily as he saw the shadows of the other five and a spark of light shoot through twilights eyes. "No they can't be...... Those six PATHETIC GIRLS CANNOT POSSIBLY BE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY!!!" He shouted and then he heard loud words being spoke in the tower.
"You thought you could destroy the elements of harmony, just like that? Well your wrong, because the SPIRITS of the elements of harmony, are right HERE!" Twilight shouted and the shards lit up. She said a few other things and then the room lit up. Then they stopped and Brock saw a blinding white light shoot from the window and a rainbow fly from the ceiling and crash back down and he could only watch as his thousand year quest had failed and nightmare moon was destroyed, leaving behind only the weak girl luna.
"No.....N-No........ I-I-It c-cant b-be true............. It just CAAAANT!!! I HAVE SPENT ONE THOUSAND YEARS WAITING FOR THIS DAY TO COME AND ALL MY WORK IS LOST BECAUSE OF SIX PATHETIC GIRLS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY?!?!!?" Then his eyes shot back to normal and he gasped. "Skull blackas venn" He said aloud..... Nothing happened. "Skull blackas venn." He said angrily.... Again nothing. "SKULL BLACKAS VENN!!!!" He screamed this time and his eyes started to change but then turned back to normal. "So it must be...... My destiny was false...... So be-" he was cut off by a sharp pain shooting into his head. "AAAAAAGH!!!!" He screamed in agony and then fainted. When he awoke he was lying on the floor next to his "gifts from nightmare" then he looked back at the book, closed it, then realized something in the box. It was a white note in black ink.
Brock, if you are reading this it is from Nightmare and i have been defeated by the elements of harmony and luna is free from me. You must go to the eastern tower and retrieve the scraps and pieces of my body and take them into the western watchtower. There will be another note on the throne by the scraps.
He gasped and teleported to the other tower, collected the scraps and pieces and read the note. It was the same paper with the same ink.
Go back to the western tower and leave the shreds and scraps of me there and go retrieve a blood sample from twilight sparkle, a scale from spike the dragon, the remains of my body and a bowl of black tar and return to your home. There will be another note waiting after you have gathered the supplies.
With that he was off. He found the swamp in everfree and collected the bowl of tar, warped back to the tower and placed it there and warped to ponyville. He walked around until he found twilights home and placed a sleep spell on twilight and spike. He yanked a scale off of spike and cut twilight's leg and caught about fifteen drops of blood in a vile. He healed the wound and took off the sleep spell and warped back to the tower and he grabbed the supplies and warped to his home. He started panting heavily from all the teleporting as he sat down and had a very large meal and then warped back to the tower. He grabbed all his gifts and place them in the box and warped back to his home. He hung the two swords in an X shape above his fireplace, placed the armor on a unicorn mannequin, and placed the book on his desk. He found the note stuck to his desk and grabbed and read it.
Now you have all the ingredients you must place them all in a large bowl EXCEPT the shreds of my remains. That means ONLY the tar, blood, and scale. Once this is done add some sulfur to the mix and use your magic to liquify the scale and sulfur. Now stir the ingredients together. Then electrify the mix of liquids and stir until the electricity has diversed. Once done, flatten the scrapes of my remains and pour the electrified mix onto each piece one by one EXTREMELY slowly. Now go back to the throne room of my castle and there will be a key on top of the throne seat along with another note.
Brock sighed but did as told. he read the note.
Pick up the key, turn around and take 15 steps forward, then take 10 steps to the left. There will be a wall with a keyhole, place the key in the wall and it will move inward and slide to the side.
He did everything in order and the wall moved. What he saw nearly brought him to tears. He saw an alter with a black alicorn mannequin with a full set of Nightmare's armor and a pedestal in front of it with a book on it....... And another note on the book.
Take the book, read it, use the spell inside, and take the mannequin back to your house. Then when there take the shreds and place them over the open spots of the mannequin's body and electrify the mannequin.
He did everything in order as he read the note. After he read the book and casted the spell he grew taller and grew wings. Then he shocked the mannequin and equipped the armor and swords. He was a full grown Alicorn with a set of Nightmare's armor equipped with to longswords clipped to his sides. He watched as the mannequin started to move and flex.
"D-D-Did i just..... REVIVE NIGHTMARE MOON AGIAN?!?!?!" Brock thought to himself and became giddy with excitement. And then he saw another note out of the corner of his eye.
When i am revived i will not be the same Nightmare Moon. i will be....... good. And you WILL OBEY MY EVERY COMMAND. I will still have my memory but i will have no reason to bring about endless night anymore and i will be free from the curses of anger and hatred.
Brock gasped and then smiled as a tear came to his eye. He turned and faced Nightmare. Her eyes were closed.
"Arck pon gorin ill finullen va kein vol" Brock said to himself. His entire body changed to be an exact replica of nightmare's exept he was a man. Nightmare opened her eyes and smiled at him.
"Im back" She said and grabbed his hand. Then the two walked into ponyville together, smiling the whole way.
Chapter 6: A New Beginning
Brock and Nightmare slowly walked into ponyville and everyone around them stopped and froze, baffled at what they were seeing.
"Citizens of Ponyville!" Brock called out. "I have brought Nightmare Moon to your town so that we may make amens over the past and so that we may start from a new beginning!" Brock continued to speak using the traditional canterlot voice. "She is a creature of nightmares no longer but only a being that wishes to be loved and not hated. Though she may seem intimidating by her appearance and the legends that surround her but i tell you the truth she has changed." Brock was interrupted by a hand at his chest.
"Brock let me speak." Nightmare said.
"Yes my queen." He said and bowed.
"I am sorry for any harm i may have caused you if any at all. My only wish is to be forgiven and apologize to all of you. If you should choose to deny my apology and hate me, i will stand to take it all. Though all i want is to be loved and forgiven if you should choose to forgive me, i would be eternally grateful." She finished and bowed as Celestia approached.
"I heard what you two have said, and coming from.... Whoever that is, i didnt quite believe it. But when i heard it coming from your own mouth, i had no choice but to see if you were true to your word." Celestia spoke softly to her.
"I am truly sorry for anything i have done in the past Celestia...... Please, forgive me" Nightmare spoke in a scared tone.
"There's no need to worry, i do.
"WHAT?!" everyone around including Brock shouted.
"But i don't understand? H-how could you forgive me so easily?" Nightmare asked.
"Oh Nightmare, everybody deserves some forgiveness." Celestia said while smiling. The smile comforted Nightmare and she lunged at Celestia and hugged her.
"Thank you Celestia..... Thank you...." Nightmare whispered these words while crying.
"And who is this person who spoke so highly of you?" Celestia asked.
"Oh, where ARE my manners my name is-" He was cut off by Rarity.
"BROCK?!" She shouted.
"Rarity?" Brock said.
"What happened to you Brock? the last time i saw you was at the town hall when nightmare showed up!"
"Yes well...... I was sort of the reason she was able to come back." Brock said and smiled sheepishly.
"WHAT?!" everyone but Nightmare and Brock shouted.
"Yes, a thousand years ago, i was Nightmare Moons right hand man. And the day before she was banished she gave me immortality and only then was it that, after she had been banished, i realized i had feelings for her...." He said and everyone fell silent. It was Nightmare who finally broke it.
"Wait, Brock what are you saying?" Nightmare asked.
"Im saying that im in love with you nightmare." Brock said and looked at her. Everyone went silent again for a moment.
"Well that was.......... Outright." Luna said.
"Yes, i have been for a thousand years......... But i didnt have the courage to tell you until now because, well...... You were always so focused on your goals you probably wouldn't have even thought about me as anything more than your advisor." Brock said and sighed.
"But Brock why now? Why here?" Nightmare asked shakily.
"Because Nightmare." He knelt down and pulled a small black box out of his bag and opened it only to reveal a black ring with a blue diamond cut into the shape of a crescent moon. "Nightmare Moon....... Will you........ Marry me?" Everyone in the crowd gasped and fluttershy fainted. Nightmare stood there with her mouth open and a hand over it and her eyes were as small as pins. Everyone was silent.
"Brock.......... YES! YES OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!" Nightmare shouted. Brock nearly jumped out of his skin with her response and everyone in Ponyville stood watching as she put the ring on. Brock and Nightmare kissed for what seemed like an eternity. When they finally came apart even Pinkie Pie was in tears at the sight.
"Congratulations you two. Where are you going to be having the wedding and when?" Celestia asked cheerfully. "Also before you tell me i want to know something. Do you still want to be called Nightmare or not?" The question had startled her.
"Hmm, im not sure what else i could be called. Hmm, how about........ Silver Star?" Nightmare asked.
"It's a beautiful name. Just like you." Brock replied.
"Well then that will be my name! Hear me ponyville, call me Silver Star!" The whole town cheered for the two as they hugged each other Silver began to cry.
"Why are you crying Silver? tears of joy Brock, tears of joy." Silver said still hugging him tightly. Pinkie stopped crying sat up.
"Hey Pinkie Pie!" Brock called out. "How would you like to set up our wedding party?" Pinkie's jaw almost hit the floor as she squealed and began bouncing faster than ever before.
"I'D LOVE TO SET IT UP!" The whole town cheered again.
"Twilight how would you like to be the made of honor?" He asked her.
"I'd be proud to Brock." Twilight smiled brightly.
"And who would like to be the best man?" Brock called out and Applejack pushed Big Macintosh forward. "Big mac, would you like to be the best man?" Brock asked. Big mac just stared.
"Eeyup!" Big mac said proudly and smiled brightly.
"Alright then everyone has a place. Pinkie, you plan the party, Applejack, you bring the food. Twilight, you'll be the made of honor. Big Mac is the best man. Dashie, you plan the party games. Fluttershy, you set up the music, and Rarity, the closest to me of the six you set up the decorations. With your eye for fashion im 100% sure it will be completely AMAZING." Brock said.
"CAN DO!" All seven of them replied.
"Well then the party is planned. We want the wedding to be in one week exactly." Once more the crowd cheered for the happy couple as they walked back to their house. They soon reached the house and Brock opened the door for his Bride and bowed.
"Oh Brock im so happy...... Thank you." Silver said.
"I'm happy to. I was forced to wait a thousand years just so i could confess my feelings to you and when i did i wasnt sure if i had made a mistake or not.... But now i know i made the right choice in the woman i want to marry. There is no one in the world i would rather be married to than you Silver." He said and hugged her.
"And there is no one i would rather marry than you brock." The two kissed one final time and went to sleep together.
Chapter 7: Family Reunion
Brock had woke up early the next morning and started on breakfast. he was making pancakes for him and his bride. as he placed the food onto two plates he went to wash off his hands and the kitchen utensils he used to cook with. when he had washed the pan it shined, showing his reflection. Brock gasped and almost dropped the pan at what he saw. his cloths were brown and he had normal colored eyes and bluish colored hair. and what's more, he had no wings, just a horn. he dropped the pan and sprinted to his room to look for Silver Star. when he opened the door she was there and he ran over to her and shook her awake. she didn't wake up. he kept screaming her name but she wouldn't wake up. he rolled her over and felt her pulse. his eyes narrowed and his heart stopped. there was no pulse...... he dropped her hand and stepped back and fell and started crying. he looked out the window and all he could see was storm clouds. he closed his eyes and cried. when suddenly he heard a voice. "Brock? Broooock?" the voice said all to familiar. "S-S-Silver Star?" he said shakily. "wake up..... wake up Brock... it's time to wake uuuup.." brock shot up in his bed sweating and screamed. "what's wrong Brock?!" Silver asked. "oh...oh thank Celestia it was all just a dream......" Brock said panting. "what happened? i had a dream i was a normal unicorn like i used to be and you wouldn't wake up. i checked your pulse and there wasn't one. so i started crying and then i heard your voice. and then i woke up." Brock explained. " wow it must have been horrible for you. oh yes it was. if it had been real i don't know how i would have survived without you. ooh Brock, that means so much to me." Silver said as she hugged Brock. "thankfully it was only a dream, and thankfully your alright." he said returning the hug. they ate breakfast and left together and walked into town. Brock stopped as he saw Celestia walking toward them while talking to Rarity. "Princess Celestia please have faith in me i know where I'm going. oh hello Brock, hello Silver. Greetings Celestia and Rarity." the two of them replied in sync with each other. "so what brings you two out this way? Rarity was leading me to your house so i could inform you of something. oh? and what would this news be? i have commissioned that a house be built in ponyville so that you may live in town with everyone else and its big enough for the both of you. oh, well thank you Celestia you are kind as always. My pleasure Brock anything to help out my closest friend's son." Celestia said and smiled. "wait did you say... closest friend's son?" brock asked calmly. "yes i did why? you...... knew my father? why of course i did he was my court advisor!" celestia said proudly. "but how did you know him? what do you mean Brock? well, i never met my father, my mother told me he had died before i was born and i never met him. well then i guess Silver and i do have something in common after all. and what would that be?" Silver asked. "we both gave our advisors immortality!"Celestia said. "wait......y-you mean my father is.... alive? of course i do in fact a few weeks after the nightmare moon incident he retired from his job to go work in the bank in canterlot. HE'S THE BANKER IN CANTERLOT?!" Brock nearly screamed. "yes he is would you like to meet him?" this sent Brock to tears and he shook his head yes. and within seconds they had all warped to the entrance of the bank. "well here we are. shall we go inside? allow me." Brock said as he held the door open for the three ladies. he walked in behind them and closed the door. he had just waved a customer goodbye when he noticed who was facing him. "P-PRINCESS CELESTIA?!" he yelled and bowed. "what are you doing here? i just came to let someone say hello to you jack, and they've wanted to meet you for a very VERY long time. how long exactly? that doesn't matter. ok where are they?" Jack asked and brock stepped forward and looked at him. "and who might you be young man? it's been a long time....... dad. what? wait, i don't know who you are why did you just call me dad? because im your son." Brock whispered a few words to himself and turned into a unicorn with bluish hair and a Brownish colored suit. the banker gasped. "s-son is it really you?! yeah dad it's me. b-but how are you here, how are you still alive? the same way you are dad. but i got my blessing from nightmare moon, who i would also like you to meet. Silver Star this is my dad, dad this is my fiance." Brock's father stood dumbstruck as Brock turned back into and alicorn. "s-s-son your getting married? yes in a week and i would personally like to invite you. the wedding is in six days. and there is no one i'd rather be married to than her" Silver giggled. "oh, you always know how to make me laugh. so dad will you be coming? o-of course i will! it would be an honor! great! oh, and one more thing. Celestia how would you like to be the usher for our wedding? i would be glad to accept Brock." she said with smile. "oh Celestia kind as always." they all laughed and then Brock went home to get everything moved out of the house. " so Brock, what do you plan to do when you get a job? oh i don't know i was going to ask Celestia about that when we got everything move into the new house, you know to see what jobs there were that were open." Brock replied calmly. they continued to pack everything. brock and Silver had both gotten dressed in their armor outfit's. they could have been twins for all anypony knew. Brock had his swords a his sides in case anything happened. he was packing the stuff on his desk when he came across the book he'd received from Nightmare a few days before. he placed it in his saddlebags and finished packing everything. and a few hours later after carrying everything to the new house everything was unpacked and placed where it should be. the swords above the fireplace, books on shelves, armor on mannequin's, cloths in dressers, and decorations where they needed to be. the day was over and Silver and Brock were both worn out from the move. they got into bed side by side and lay there wide awake. "good night brock. good night Silver."
Chapter 8: The Wedding
Brock had woke up really early with Silver the next morning and made breakfast for them both. they were both giddy with excitement and they both knew it. today was the wedding day. Brock and Silver nearly Sprinted out the door but tried their hardest to contain their happiness. "i can't believe it's been a week already! i know how you feel Brock, it seems like it was just yesterday that you asked me to marry you in front of all of Ponyville." they walked into town and said hello to a couple of different people who said that they were happy about the wedding and apologized about not believing that Silver had changed. Brock and Silver continued walking until they reached the town hall. "well, were here. i'll be waiting for you Silver." Brock said and kissed her and walked into the town hall's main entrance. Silver walked in the side door so Rarity and Twilight could help her get dressed. "so Brock, how can you go on knowing all of your friends 'll be gone and you'll still be alive?" Big Mac asked quietly. Brock sighed and quietly told big mac the answer. "i wont have to worry about that for long." Brock whispered. "why not? nobody else here but you Silver and the princesses are immortal." big mac whispered a little surprised at his answer. "i haven't told anyone else this so you can only tell AJ if you want to. i'm currently studying a very powerful spell that will allow me to grant immortality to all of my closest friends and their families and friends all at once." Brock whispered. big mac just stared at him with a dumbstruck expression on his face. "so you promise not to tell anyone until i'm finished?" brock asked. "eeyup." big mac replied happily. "good now then onto the main event of the night." Brock said as Fluttershy started getting the birds in the room to sing. everyone in the town hall stood up and turned to watch as Silver walked toward the alter with Twilight at her side. Big mac moved to the side a little bit as Silver stood across from Brock. "wow you look beautiful." brock said and Silver blushed. they both turned to face celestia. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the bond of holy matrimony between these two lovers." celestia said and smiled. "may their love be everlasting for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do you part." celestia said. "Brock Fireheart, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" celestia asked. "I do. and do you, Silver Star, take this man to be your husband?" celestia asked. "I do. Then by the power invested in me and the kingdom of Equestria, i now pronounce you Husband and Wife. you may kiss the bride." celestia said and closed the book she was reading from. Brock and Silver kissed for what seemed like an eternity as the crowd cheered. AJ, big mac and applebloom were standing next to each other smiling. Rainbow dash, Fluttershy and pinkie pie were all crying with joy for the two. and Rarity and Twilight were both clapping side by side. "And now, let the party begin!" Brock said after finally breaking the kiss. Pinkie immediately stopped crying and jumped around at hearing this. "alright pinkie, would you like to cut the cake for everybody?" Brock asked her. "i would LOVE to Brock." and with that, pinkie was cutting the cake in mere seconds and giving a piece to everybody one by one, smiling the whole time. "hey Celestia, Luna how would you like to come to dinner with us later this evening?" Brock asked the two alicorns. in turn they both looked at each other and smiled. "we would be honored to join you two. where will we be eating tonight?" both princesses asked in sync. "hmm, what do you two suggest?" Brock asked. "well luna and i may be sisters but we both have very different tastes. luna what would you suggest?" Celestia said smiling. "hmm, i guess i would have to suggest........" she paused. "we could eat in canterlot castle! they always know how to make the best food." luna said happily. "well i suppose that's true sister. but the chefs are always so uptight." celestia said and both of the sisters laughed happily. "well then you both suggest the castle in canterlot then?" Brock asked. both of the sisters nodded. "well then one moment." Brock said and walked out into the crowd. he spoke to Applejack, Rainbow dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Twilight shortly. "how would you all like to join us and the princesses with your families at canterlot castle for dinner later this evening?" all six gasped and nodded violently. "then let your families know that we'll all be having dinner there later and that their all invited." Brock said. "thank you Brock." all six of them said together. they ran off to find their families and let them know. the party had gone on for maybe an hour and a half or so longer until everybody started leaving. "thank you for coming everyone!" Brock shouted. he then walked back inside with the everyone else. "alright everyone hold hands for a moment in a circle please." the four alicorns said. everyone grabbed hands and stood there while all four alicorns uttered a spell. and before anyone knew it, they were all standing in the main hall of canterlot castle. "so everyone take a seat wherever you want to." brock said. everyone sat next to their families except for Brock and Silver. they sat next to the princesses. "so Brock, how would you like a job here in the castle?" celestia asked. "like what?" Brock asked surprised at her question. "i would like you to be my castle mage. if that would be alright with you." celestia said. Brock was stunned at hearing this. and almost accepted but then he thought of rarity. "i'm extremely grateful for the offer Celestia, but i'm going to have to decline. i would like to stay and work at Rarity's Boutique." Brock said. "if that is your choice then i respect that. but if you ever require access to the royal library feel free to ask." Celestia said happily. "i'll be sure to take you up on that offer later this week." Brock said and all four alicorns laughed. everyone continued eating and talking and had stayed in the castle with everyone else for about an hour. then everybody left and went home. "thank you for coming. see you all next time!" Luna said as everyone but Brock and Silver left. "so Brock, Silver what do you plan to do now that your married?" Luna asked. "well first were going to head back home for the moment and then we'll figure the rest out as we go." Brock replied. "well that's fine, just remember that if you two ever need anything just feel free to ask." Luna said politely. "thank you Luna you are always so kind, both of you are." Silver said. and with that Brock and Silver flew back home.
Chapter 9: The Decision
it has been about a month and a half since Brock married Silver Star and the two couldn't be happier. "Brock? yeah Silver? hey i was just thinking about something. oh? what is it you're thinking about?" Silver sat silently. "Silver? yes?.... i asked what you were thinking about." Brock sat up and turned on a lamp. he noticed she was blushing. "i was just wondering...... its been almost two months since we got married and......" she stopped. she didnt need to continue, brock knew exactly what she was thinking about. "Silver, were married if you want to tell me something there no need to be ashamed or scared. there's nothing in the world i cant handle. i have been alive for a thousand and fifty seven years after all, and i've seen pretty much everything and read just about everything so if there's something you want, just tell me." her blush disappeared and was replaced by a gentle smile. "i was thinking about having a baby." Brock knew that's what she was going to say. "see? that wasn't so hard was it? no, not really.... so..... do you want to? have a baby? yes. Silver of course, there isn't anything i won't do for you, and if you want to have a baby thats fine with me, all you had to do was talk to me about it. so how long have you been thinking about this? hmm, about a week and a half. hmm...... well im fine with that as long as you really want to. i do Brock, i really do." Brock smiled and reached over and turned off the light.
Author's Note: this book is supposed to be appropriate for everyone so im NOT doing a clop scene i may lose a few favs for this but its a book people seriously people... come on its a fanfic of a KIDS show.
The next morning Brock and Silver woke up at the same time. Brock got dressed and went to go make breakfast. and Silver went to the bathroom. "aah, last night was amazing.... i finally got to prove my love to her in the most intimate way possible." Brock sat thinking to himself while he made breakfast for himself and Silver. he nearly slapped the ceiling with a pancake when he heard her squeal. it wasn't an angry squeal or a scared squeal. it was the squeal she made when she was happy. he had first heard it on the day he proposed. she came running down the stairs with a huge smile on her face. "well your in a happy mood today Silver. did you win something?" Brock asked sarcastically although he knew why she was so happy. "oh you know why im happy Brock. ooh, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!" she yelled as she hugged him. "so i take it the test came back positive?" Brock asked hopefully. "yes it did thank you again Brock. I'm going to go tell twilight and her friends. then i'll tell Celestia and Luna." she said cheerfully. "whatever you want Silver when im done eating i'll lock up the house and im going to work don't forget that the house is locked up when you get back." and with that Silver left. Brock gad finished eating breakfast and then went to work just like he said. "aah, another day at the boutique." Brock said walking down the street. he stopped suddenly when he saw rarity crying on a park bench. "Rarity? oh... hello Brock. what's wrong? oh it's nothing, really. rarity.... we both know that's a lie, i've known you long enough to realize when there's something that's bothering you. so tell me, what's bothering you? oh it's just that...... i miss my parents. and why is that? because they're....... no longer with us...." rarity said this and started crying into his shoulder. he hugged her closely. "shh.... it's alright. so what happened to them? t-they were in an accident up in manehatten and neither of them survived. what kind of accident was it? oh it was just a work related accident. one of the machines malfunctioned and.........." she stopped and started crying again. "it's alright rarity..... they're in a much better place now. and you know something? w-what? they may be gone but i have a question for you. did you love them? what? did you love your parents? of course i did. then they'll always be with you in your heart and your mind. you really think so? yeah and you know, there's an old saying i heard a very, very long time ago. death leave's a heartache that no one can heal..... but love leave's a memory...... that no one can steal." Brock paused and looked away and breathed out slowly. "you know rarity it's been a thousand years since i've seen my mother. but thanks to Celestia i still have my father. but sadly that isn't the case for you. i'm sorry for your loss and i wish there was a way i could help. but sadly there's not. so come on, we should get to work. someone's probably looking for us." Brock said happily. they got up and started walking when they finally reached the boutique and saw Silver Star standing there by the door. "hey Silver what's up?" Brock asked. "i was waiting to tell rarity something but it seems she's been with you." Silver Star said suspiciously. "its alright Silver i was walking to work when I noticed her crying on a bench i asked her what was wrong. and what was the problem? her parent's died recently and she's still upset about it." Brock said this and Silver looked shocked as rarity started crying again. "come on rarity let's get inside. you to Silver." with that all three of them went inside and sat down."s-so Silver what is it you wanted to tell me? oh right, Brock and i both have something to tell you since he's here." she stopped and closed her eyes. she breathed in and then out and looked at rarity. "I'm pregnant." silver looked at me and rarity and smiled. "well.... this is certainly a new development.... well either way congratulations! have you told anyone else yet? no, not yet i was waiting to tell you first then i was gonna go tell the other's. well what are you waiting for? you simply MUST go tell the others!" rarity half shouted. then Silver left and Brock started working right away. then brock had finished making an old fashioned dress using some of rarity's fabric. "aah, another century old design another income for the shop." Brock said and began working on the next. this time he used a different colored fabric and a few different colored gems. he soon became lost in his work and was only thinking of one thing. an ancient dress he saw when he was only around seven years old. "ooh, rarity will LOVE this design." Brock sat thinking to himself. it took him about two hours to make but when he was done. he had sat down and called rarity to come see it. "Brock, you called me? yes im in here. did you need something? no i just wanted you to see this new design. oh is it n-" rarity stopped speaking when she saw the design. "w-where did you get the idea for that? it was a dress i saw when i was seven years old and i just remembered it. well i m-must say that it is certainly unique. yes it was a dress i saw princess Celestia's mother wearing." rarity's mouth shot open "d-d-did you just say Princess Celestia's..... MOTHER?! yes i did why? Brock..... how old are you exactly? um....... i've been alive for a thousand years and i was forty seven years old before that um..... about 1057 years old, yeah that sounds about right. your a THOUSAND AND FIFTY SEVEN?!?! uh yes and celestia is about maybe twenty years or so younger than i am. your older than Celestia?! yes i am i was one of the people there when her and her sister were born. Brock you MUST go tell them immediately! what about work? you can have the rest of the day off! oh, well thanks rarity." with that Brock teleported to Celestia's castle with the dress folded over his arm. "HALT! who goes there? my name is Brock, i have a dress for the princesses. fine, you may enter." the gate slid open and Brock was escorted to the throne room, which now had two seats for Celestia and Luna. "Princess Celestia, you have a delivery. thank you Silver Platter you may leave. yes my Princess." with that Silver Platter walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. "Brock, hello how are you? very good, Princess and i have some information i just remembered and i have a dress for you. oh and what information did you remember? you parents were very nice people, i knew them for quite some time." Celestia and Luna both looked frozen on the spot. "d-did you just say you knew our parents?!" Luna asked. "yes i did im a thousand and fifty seven years old and i was there when you two were born. you were such beautiful children, and it looks like it stuck with you all your lives." both princess's blushed and smiled. "well then, you said you have a dress for us? oh! yes of course i made one for both of you. they were both dresses i saw your mother wearing at different times. for luna, a black dress with a diamond encrusted into the shoulder's and the chest. oh brock it's beautiful thank you. as are you princess, and the pleasure is all mine. and for celestia, a bright white dress with a gold trim and a diamond encrusted into the tiara. oh my...... it's beautiful brock thank you. the pleasure is all mine your majesty." brock said and knelt before them. OH! and also i have some news from Silver Star. which is? she's pregnant." again, both princess's looked frozen. then Celestia turned to face luna. she looked at her sister and shrugged. "what is it?" brock asked. "were just a bit worried that's all. your worried about us? why? because its been over a thousand years since anyone's seen an alicorn baby born and were just worried how everyone might react to what happens...." Celestia stopped. "wait, what happens when an alicorn is born? well when we were born we were incredibly talented fliers and magic users. ok..... so what? we flew into the sky and a magic surge hit us and we unleashed the magic on equestria..... and had it not been for our parents ability to control our magic until we ourselves were able to, we may have destroyed equestria." Celestia said. "oh..... well that would explain your worries being well placed." Brock said. "oh and one more thing. yes Luna? all alicorn children are born four months earlier than regular children. um.........." brock stood dumbstruck at what he had just heard. "so..... i should probably tell her and start preparing for it shouldnt i? yes that would be best." and with that Brock Bowed, blew a kiss to them both and warped home.
Chapter 10: Brock's Training
Brock teleported to exactly where Silver Star would be. Brock was panting heavily when silver started speaking to him. "Brock what's going on?! *pant* Celestia *pant* our child *pant* destruction of equestria *pant*. WOAH CALM DOWN BROCK!" yelled twilight. "what's going on? i spoke to celestia and gave her and her sister a dress when i told them about you being pregnant and they told me what happened when they were born. they told me i had to start training my magical abilities to be able to control the child's magic when it's born or it could DESTROY ALL OF EQUESTRIA!" this news made twilight fall over and faint. "y-you mean our son could destroy all of equestria if you dont control him? wait how do you know it's a boy? i talked to the doctor and he did a scan. well thats wonderful, now i have to train to control an alicorn boy. AND I ONLY HAVE FIVE MONTHS! what do you mean five? all alicorn children are born four months earlier than other children." this news made Silver nearly cry. "no no no Silver dont cry it's alright i'll be able to control his magic i have five months after all. and we will be keeping the child. you mean celestia isn't going to take him away from us? no of course not." that's when it hit him. Brock had the ultimate way to train his abilities. "Sonsuz elm tome" brock whispered. "what? Sonsuz Elm Tome! what is that? the book you gave me, i translated it and it's title reads The Tome Of Infinite Knowledge! and why is that good? it can teach me any spell ever created and i can learn the spell celestia's parents used to control them! i can have my abilities trained enough by the end of the week thanks to you! oh Brock! thats wonderful!" silver and Brock hugged and twilight sat up and spoke. "wait did you say Sonsuz Elm Tome? yes i did why? you CANNOT OPEN THAT BOOK! YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF THE POWER IT HOLDS!!!! and say it were to be opened what would happen? im not sure exactly but according to the legend of the book the last person to read it couldn't stop and ended up trying to destroy the world when he finished! well that's strange, the night you freed luna i read the first six pages. you WHAT!?!? yeah i read the first six pages and learned a few spells from it. l-like what?"twilight asked shakily. "like the spell i used to look like this. the words i uttered were Arck Pon Gorin Ill Finullen Va Kein Vol, which i roughly translated into the words I transform myself into your image my love. it turns your body into an exact replica of the person you adore the most. also i learned the spells: Kein Ill Tuolo Van Krieg, Ashos Ill Pan Casein, and finally Kein Van costelnos Darmora Vilenos Pal Graan. i translated the first two but i wasn't able to finish the third before i resurrected her. they translated to the words: King of the night's sword, and From the ashes Thou shall return." just then Brock's eye's shrank down and he screamed and held his head down. "BROCK! ARE YOU OKAY?!" he didnt reply. "Kein Van Costelnos Darmora Vilenos Pal Graan. h-h-he just used one of the spells! no twilight it wasn't dangerous i just remembered something from about seven hundred years ago. it translates EXACTLY to the words: My power shall become unmatched throughout this land. and what does that mean? it means that my training is complete." with that he floated into the air and flashed with a black light and when he came back down he looked ten times as strong as he did before. "what just happened? my training is complete. okay what did you do? i multiplied the magical power i have by ten and since i was already the strongest magic user in equestria it made it so im the strongest in the world! so...... you dont think that is bad whatsoever? no not at all. if i didnt have silver to keep me happy it would be a bad thing but with her i would never do anything to harm anyone. but if anyone tries to harm HER?! there will be eons worth of pain in for them." brock said with a grin. " i will never let anyone hurt you silver. and i think i have a name for him when he's born. oh, and what is it? how do you like Starfire? oh Brock it's amazing. then it's settled Starfire it is!" with this Brock and Silver went to tell the rest of their friends. although twilight was still worried about brock. "what will happen to him if he keeps reading that book? oh well i cant worry about that right now." and with that twilight went with them to go talk to the others.

Chapter 11: Starfire's Time
it has been four and a half months since the day Brock talked to Celestia and Luna about his child. Starfire is due to be born in about a week and a half and everyone in Equestria had heard about the alicorn baby being born and the whole kingdom was in an uproar. "so Brock how are you doing in your training?" Celestia asked. "you haven't heard? heard what? i've been done with my training for almost five months now." Brock said happily. "what, how?! oh i thought someone would have told you by now, but i guess not, back before luna was freed from nightmare she gave me a gift. it was a set of armor, two swords, and an ancient book with a title that read: Sonsuz Elm Tome which i translated to the words: The Tome Of Infinite Knowledge. i read the first six pages and learned three spells im not going into detail on but one of them summons an ancient sword to my side, another makes it so that if i ever die i will burn to ashes and rise like a Phoenix, and the final multiplies my magical ability by ten. i used the last one and that WAS my training. how do you know your ready? Celestia, if i were to fight you, luna, and every guard or soldier in Equestria i would still win. are you sure about that? Celestia please dont make a bet with me, i made a pact with myself three hundred years ago that i would never take another bet again..... not after what happened to black mist........ what happened? she bet me i couldn't beat her in a fight...... i took the bet and i let my selfish side get the better of me........ what happened then? it was a sword fighting bet...." Celestia knew what happened. "i am so sorry to hear that, Brock, i had no idea. it's fine it's been three hundred years since i've seen her. but back to the task at hand! yes i think im prepared to handle him after all he will be just a baby. you'd be amazed at what their capable of." Luna said smiling. "well i know i'll be ready." brock replied when suddenly someone came bursting through the door. "Silver Platter what's the matter? b-brock your wife is in the hospital. WHAT WHY?! she went into labor and thankfully she had six young mares with her that were able to get her there right away. WELL THEN WHAT ARE WE STILL DOING HERE?! LETS GO!!!" brock shouted and ran out the door followed by celestia and luna. it took them maybe ten minutes to get to the hospital and into her room. when they got there Twi, AJ, Rainbow, Pinkie, Shy, and Rarity were all there. Celestia and Luna walked off to the Left of the room while the other six stood at the right. there was no screaming, no doctors, just nine Smiling mares when brock walked in. everyone was staring at the little child that sat in silver's arm's. "im sorry Silver.... for what? for missing it...... oh brock dont be it was mostly just screaming and pain anyway." she said sarcastically. everyone laughed except brock. "i know but i still should have been here for it. oh brock dont worry, all that matters is that your here now." this got brock to smile and he walked over to see his son. "he's beautiful silver, you did a great job. thank you Brock although you did a lot of the work too." they hugged and he took his son in his arms. he held him there for what seemed like and eternity before he noticed the similarities between his son and his wife. the similarities were uncanny and very noticeable. when the baby opened it's eye's they were a bright turquoise, with a sky blue outline. and the most noticeable part was the pupils. they were those of a dragon. everyone went to Brock and silver's home and right before they walked into the house Starfire floated high up into the sky and a pitch black light shot out from his body. "this is what i've been waiting for." Brock said and smiled then launched off the ground as if fired from a cannon. he flew into the sky at the speed of sound and stared at his son. "NIL TOKERA PAL NOR KEEVEN HA KEIN MO PAL GRAAN KALOVNERA SUUM PEIN ARCK ILL MORAH!!!" Brock screamed over the sound and as soon as the final word was uttered a blinding light exited his mouth and flew through the air and encased his son. the light then turned pitch black and shrank into the child and Starfire started falling through the air. "CATCH HIM!!!!!" silver screamed. although she had nothing to worry about her husband had already caught him and gently floated back to the ground. "shh, he's asleep." brock whispered. "what did you say?" celestia asked. "i screamed the words: hear me my son for i am who created you. my power far surpasses yours and your true power will obey my will." brock said after laying the baby down. "so will he ever be able to use his magic? twilight asked "yes he will. when he comes of age, the lock on his powers will be broken. although the spell locks his power away, he can still use magic twilight. even i cant take that away from him. it's in his blood." brock said proudly. "so celestia what are you going to do now? well im going to head back to canterlot and get some rest. for some reason this whole ordeal has drained my energy. wait celestia, i could see why, just a moment." brock said and pulled Sonsuz Elm Tome off of a shelf and whispered a few words and the pages flipped through the book and stopped. " AAH! here we are: surrounding alicorn birth effects. lets see here......... hmm, this is odd... what is it brock? it says whenever an alicorn is born it drains the energy of all alicorns within a thousand mile radius except the parents. Luna are you feeling drained? yes i am actually. ok that's good if you didn't there would be something wrong with either you or the child. but everything seems to be in order here everything that happened seems natural. wait..... oh no....." Brock said and gasped. "what? what is it Brock?! it says that when an alicorn has a child it passes on the trait of immortality. so? thats good right? yes well.... it doesn't just pass the trait on..... it... takes the trait from the parent." everyone gasped at hearing this. "so that means that you and i aren't immortal anymore?" Silver said shakily. "well yes and no. what do you mean? my immortality was given to me so only i can take it away. but yours is natural so yours can be taken with child birth." everyone fell silent. it was brock who broke it. "Ma Borack Lintos Imran Kan Val." he whispered into silver's ear. her eyes widened at hearing those words. everyone stared at her. "d....did you just.... yes i did Silver i never want to lose you again." Brock said and nearly broke out into tears. "i lost you once for a thousand years, i wont lose you again. oh Brock thank you! what? what did he do? he used the same spell i used on him over a thousand years ago. wait so you mean.... yes Luna i am now immortal again." everyone cheered for the two. quietly but still a cheer. and soon life returned to normal, Silver stayed home with the baby. Brock hired some bodyguards for the house. brock went back to work. the princesses went back to the castle. Twi, AJ, Dash, Pinkie, Shy, and Rarity all went back to their normal routines. life was great for everyone and it always would be great for Brock and Silver....................
