What do you do when your world is taken from you? When you're thrust into a completely new world that you had no idea existed? And now what can you do when you are charged with a quest to defeat a dark malevolent creature, who is rising after a six millenia long slumber, his followers assembling an army the likes of which the world had never seen?

Jesse Dark is such a person who has all three of these questions in his mind when he is plucked from his world by fate and thrown into Equestria. Armed with only a sword his father gave him and the mysterious powers it seems to hold, will Jesse be able to overcome the obstacles that are put in his way, while discovering what it means to be a hero... and a boyfriend?

This is my first fanfiction and has been completely redone from the previous version if you read it.
