Entering the restaurant, you quickly notice your targets talking to one another in the far corners of the store. They wore large hoods to hide their faces, but you could clearly see through them. The two ponies become aware of the light coming from the door behind you, they shift in their seats and turn their heads in your region. You quickly take note of their actions and walk casually over to the bar against the east side of the building, making sure not to alarm the targets. You sit down in the stool and call the bartender over.
Looking back at the ponies, the mare relax and sighs with relief but the stallion keeps a watchful eye on you. After a quick scan the stallion later on does the same as his companion. Your act was perfect and successful. You look away from the two and ask the bartender for a drink. He complies and brings your specified liquid. You take the newly earned bits and give a few to the bartender. You act as a normal pony entering a bar and looking for a normal drink.
After taking a few sips of your drink you look back at the targets and contemplate what next to do. You reflect on your outcomes and mull over your options.

“I would like detail on the mission and the targets, if you don't mind?” You asked, glaring down at the foul brown table next to you.
The delegate smirked, his lips curled. “Huh? Guess I wasn’t mistaken? Smart guy.” Clapping his hooves together, a stallion in the background trotted towards his leader and gave him a yellow folder. The delegate opened the yellow parchment and produced two photos. He gently passed said photos in your direction.
You took the photos and placed them in front of you to examine thoroughly. The first photo showed a mustard colored mare with a gray mane and velvet red eyes. She wore a safari hat and shirt. The pose she undertook was that of confidence and pride. The second photo showed a deep brown stallion with a black mane and bright blue eyes. He wore a dark gray hoodie that covered most of his upper body and a silver beaded necklace wrapped around his neck with two metal plates hanging from the bottom. His pose showed formes of hardship. Both ponies were pegasi.
“These are the ponies you want taken care of?” You ask to confirm his request.
“Yep. There in Diners Dine right now chatting up a storm!”
“What are their names?” You look down at photos and notice written text pressed into the metal that hung from the brown stallion's neck, though the picture was unable to take a clear shot of what the exact words were.
The delegate pushed himself away from his office desk and trotted towards the wall where a wanted sign of the brown stallion, one of the targets, was pinned. Below his picture was a mess of crimes the stallion committed. Assault, arson, theft, burglary, and 32 more crimes that even surpass your own and below that was a price.
200,000 bits...
“One of them…” He nodded at the wanted poster. “Has a reputation, as you could tell” He chuckled. “His name is Coyote Scavenger, ever since he showed up things have been much harder to get by”
“And the other”
“Daring do!” He quickly replied with venom in the name. “She's our boss’s problem!" He turned around to face you before slamming a hoof on the table. "She's been our problem ever since the beginning! Listen, I don't care who you kill at this point I just want you to make sure that one of them ain’t alive when this is done. You hear me!”
You push yourself away from the table and walk out of the overcrowded carriage without another word. Celestia’s sun quickly hit your coat, a gentle warm feeling following minuets later. You walk down the streets of the gray town and soon after encounter your designated area. You approach the old looking building and stare at the sign above it.
‘Diners Dine ’ the wood sign read.
The logo had a soup bowl with a small flower in it. You walk up to the front door of the restaurant and stand next to the entryway, ready to confirm your mission and take on the task you were assigned to.

It was an early morning in the lower parts of Canterlot near Four Hoof St. A blissful smile was plastered across your muzzle. Your hoofsteps echoed off the empty streets. Your smiled further widened as the you reached the glass door of your own flower shop. You reached your head around, towards the left side of your saddlebag and produced a small silver key. You brought your head back towards the glass door and positioned the key near the gold handle. The key slid into the crack with ease, you shifted your head sideways.
Click
The door unlock and opened. You push the glass forward, a bell above your head rung. You entered your beloved flower shop. The aroma of daisies and roses invaded your nostrils. You took in a heavy breath, your chest rose, then fell as you exhaled with closed eyes.
You closed the door behind you and locked it with the same key used to open it. You turned in the direction of the counter and trotted towards the back. You threw your saddle bag in an empty chair, it skidded across the tile floor on impact. Walking back into the main room, you flipped the hanging sign on the window from closed, to open. Out of the corner of your eyes you saw a flash of light leave the empty streets.
You stared in the direction of the source of the disappearing light only to find the light poles outside were turning off. You frowned, knowing that the luna’s night was ending fairly quickly. Aside from the delay of morning customers, you ponder what to do next.

The realization quickly came to you like a flash of light, the flowers needed to be watered. You walked into the kitchen. Opening the cupboard under the sink, you grabbed a watering can and slammed it on the counter. Bringing over a bucket of mineral water, you filled the watercan to the brim, put the bucket back in its respective spot and watered the closest plant nearby.
You repeated the process with the different plants you passed. The pots of plastic or clay would be filled with either dirt or manurer. The water that was doused over the fertilizer or soil would be absorb by the roots of the herbs. The plants grew green with each sip of water they took. The flowers flourished and strengthened.
The bell above the door rung loud.
DING~
You turn your eyes to your first customer of the day. He walked through the doorway and observed the shop with scepticism. He glanced between the flowers and the many gardening tools that littered the wood shelves. He hasn’t noticed you yet.

- The Daring End
The air around was dark and thin. The sun never seemed to pierce the black clouds above and the homes that surround you had their own gray and dark textures. The town of Hollow Shades, it was something different and mysterious in its own meager way. Crime was common and mundane like traffic in Manehattan and fog commonly occupied the ground below. It was a fantastic place to make coin. That was if your professional work involved criminal and illegal activity. You are hired once again to kill.
Today was the day of a good pay. You could smell it, even sense it from outside the small carriage you stand next to. The carriage is large and made of rare Everfree wood. It was wide, compact, and small, similar to a storage shack. As you wait outside the small wood container, you begin to feel the cold seep through your dark cloak. You shift into a different position but the temperature of your body did not alter. You reach your hoof behind your head and pull the hood attached to your cloak over your eyes. You feel a small comfort of warmth, but afterward experience the chill of cold wind.
The front door of the carriage next to you opens with a loud creek. Exiting from brown mobilhome was an orange stallion, his black feathery cap covers the majority of his right face. The orange dog of war stared awkwardly at you with his light red eyes, he seemed charmed by your mere appearance, his gaze scanning every part of you. Smirking, the tall stallion placed a hoof out to his left, sidestepping before bowing, allowing you open access into the mobile carriage. You enter the old looking box with little to no words.
The door behind you closes gently, the odor of the room quickly assaulted your sense of smell. The inside reeked of old cheese and wet dog. There were two windows, a bookshelf, a desk, and a red coated spin chair which slowly rotates to face you. Sitting in the chair was another stallion, his size was much larger than the others. His coat was dark blue, his mane was blond yellow, and his cutie mark was that of a white skull and a quill leaning on a coin pouch.
"Sit" He demands points to the chair next to you.
Your rump slowly made contact with the smooth surface of the polished chair. The male across from you leans forward and places both hooves on the table, ready to engage in conversation.
"Alright. I'm not going to go into the whole thing about why you're here because we ain’t got time for chit chat" He slowly leans down towards the left side of the desk where he opens a small drawer. He sits up with a pile of papers in hoof. "Heard rumors you do your work... discreetly" He said with a strict and deep tone. "I'm not mistaken, am I?"

You walk to the nearest bookshelf in the back and produce a random book from the wood shelf and open to the first page. It was an average story with a hero receiving the mare he loves and a happy ending comes to be. You read through three chapters before the knocking of hooves against the marble counter catch your attention. You tilt the book back to see a tall stallion in front of you waiting patiently for your attention. You Suddenly realize have been reading your book for more than 40 minutes and had not been watching the store.
You were even more surprised that the bell above the door did not ring or make a sound when the customer entered. You stood on your hooves and stared at the regular for a moment before sweat started to drop from your forehead. The Stallion stood normally with an outstretched chest. His eyes were soft and quiet and bore the colors blue and navy. His mane was brown and short, and his coat was gray with a hind of black in a few stops. He was an Earth pony like you.
You weigh and consider what next to do.

"Not to brag, but if somepony wanted you dead―" You lean towards the delegate and dip your head in the direction of the floor before glaring at the stallion with a small yet evil grin. "―You wouldn't be standing here now."
A merc in the background trotted close to your side, he reached for the dagger strapped to his left leg and waited for the command of his director. The Blue director quickly rose his hoof into the air, signaling the brut next to you to stop where he stood. He nodded his head and trotted away before finding himself next to his boss's side. The delegate's lips began to form a grin, soon after, a smile, and later, a loud laugh. His body shook uncontrollably and his face contorted. His laughter died as did his shaking. He looked up from his table and stared at you with a wide comforting smile.
"You... You are what I expected to see!" He leaned back into his seat and brought his front hooves together. He stared at the ceiling, thinking. His mind seemed to wonder. The stallion reached for the left side of the table and opened a hidden draw, bringing forth a large coin pouch. He threw the pouch on the old wood table and stared at you with a wide smile. "Heres your pay!"
You reach your hoof towards the coin pouch and open it. Large gleaming gold coins poured from the brown folded cloth. You stare at the amount of currency laid before you with amazement. The amount that shined in the sun was astonishing, your best estimate was possibly over a thousand.
But... Why pay now?
You look up at the delegate with wonder.
"I know!" He placed his hoof in the air.

The Solar. A hotel for all nobles who lived within the castle. Every room in the quarters were never clean, but it must be done. To even lay eyes on the inside of the castle was a great honor.
Turning to the doorway near your left, you find yourself entering a long corridor with many panels of stained glass aligning the walls. They were beautiful. The windows projected many light colors while the moons rays of light landed on their transparent form, illuminating a majestic story of Royal knights fending their home from unwelcomed creatures. It was truly a beautiful scene of courage and bravery.
Additional guards pass by, the metal plating of their armor clashed together as they passed by just as they had before. The sound resonated daily through the halls, holding a soothing rhythm with each step they took. They turned the corner where they were left to walk out of sight, never to be seen again by your own eyes. A few sharp turns and the maze like castle rewarded you with your wanted location. You stared at the door and it's hoof made craft. The wood was perfectly shaped to match the door-way and its hinges was easily capable of fitting any wall.
If it was only that simple . You thought to yourself, dropping the bucket that was placed firmly in your mouth on the left side of the door.
You reached for the gold key which was wrapped around your waist. Clamping down on its side with your lips, you rotated the key to perfectly fit the lock. Placing the key back in its respective belt, you dragged your hoof to your side and pushed the door open, slowly. The hinges squeaked and chirped while its weight was pulled down. Forcing it to bend and warp. It was loud and high pitched.
It was dark and gloomy. As you placing your hoof inside the royal room, your scenes of smell was unexpectedly hit with the stench of perfume and sour milk. You flicked your head to the side, trying your best to avoid the powerful smell from reaching your nose any further. But it was no use as you were expected to clean the room. Inside was a mess of clothing and valuable jewelry was scattered around the floor and walls. Priceless elements such as desks and stools placed themselves in the dark corners. For each moment you inspected the room, the smell became stronger.
Running out of the room and closing the door behind you with amazing strength, you inhaled the fresh oxygen and felt at peace with the stale air. You looked back at the door with bewilderment.

"Just tell me what I’m doing and I'll get it done" You said with impatience.
The delegate glared at you with furrowed brows. He shook his head with disappointment before opening a draw on the right side of the desk. Appearing in his hoof was a brown coin pouch, tied in what appeared to be a silver bow. He closed the open draw with his free hoof, he kept complete eye contact with you as he undertook these actions.
“Here’s your pay” He threw the coin pouch on the desk. You open the pouch and review the gold inside. “There’s 180 bits in there. I know how much you love you coin” A pony in the background troted towards his leader and gave him a yellow folder. Without turning to face your commanding officer, you question the reason for your summon. “Why sir?”
The officer stood still near the doorway like a statues of canterlot maze. His head slowly rose high before a quiet voice, barely audible, spoke in a disheartening tone.
“What did you say Private?”
Swallowing what saliva was left in your mouth and throat, you stand firm with Knees and hooves buckled together and your head held high. “I asked why, sir”
An unnerving moment of silence was all that was heard in the room before your commanding officer lazily turned around to see eye to eye. “Because the captain demanded it...” He slowly turned to face the enormous golden doors behind him. The entrance was enveloped in a white aura before the doors threw themselves open with great force, each end hit the marble walls with a loud 'bang' which echoed in the narrow halls. “Now get your flank to his office before I haul it up there myself!” The officer bellowed once again.
Each hoof that impacted the ground made small nicks in the floor. Shortly after, the officer disappeared from view with only closed doors left behind. Gazing back at the beautiful scenery outside the windows, you stand in thought before marching up the castle stairs with a look of concern. The clatter of armor was in the same toon as before as you ascended the steps of gray stone.
You briefly inhale the stale air around, recuperating what stamina you lost during the long hike. The castle was a maze. For a random pony who had no experience walking the halls of canterlot castle, they would be lost within a day, but for a trained soldier such as yourself. It was nothing more than a walk in the middle of canterlot square. You faced the east side of the castle and stare at the closed opening that revealed itself.
Standing tall and intimidation, more so than the large golden monstrosities near the gardens level, was a purple door with silver text which read “Captain Armor” engraved in the flat gold slab that hung above the entrance. You could feel the tension building inside. “the point of no return” some guards would announce when passing the captions office. You remove your helmet as a sign of respect and hold it close to your side. Taking in a deep breath, you exhale out your nostrils before twisting the gold handle on the door.
Behind the door was a large white stallion with a blue mane and a purple shield for a cutie mark. He sat in a small chair, signing off papers that were piled on his desk. You place one hoof in front of you and enter the captain's room. Pictures of what appeared to be the newly deemed princess as a foul decorated the walls. She did not have wings? Only a horn? The shelves were piled with old books and standing frames.
The captain of the royal guards notices your presence, he placed the quill in his magical grip down on the table before cross his hooves on said table.
“Hello Privet!” He said in a jovous and superior tone of voice. “Please. Sit.” He pointed with his hoof at the seat next to you.

You close both eyes with tranquil thoughts and quickly open them with determination. Gears of wood and metal turned, the sound of clashing metal resonates from under your right sleeve. Finding your targets in the same position, you quickly turn in your seat to face the two ponies. lining up the sights of your portable crossbow with the mare in the old booth, you pull the trigger and wait for your bolt to be firmly placed between the mare's eyes. Her reaction was quick to catch the sound of snapping wire. Her beautiful eyes display a mix of somber emotions, but most of all...
Terror...
The roundtable at the booth suddenly flies into the air, clean glasses and various condiments crash onto the dusty floor, shattering in the process. Your bolt was blocked by the large wood surface of the tabletop. Leaning out slowly from behind cover and holding the table in position was the brown stallion. His brows angle downward with a prime look of anger and disappointment.
Dashing out from behind cover and into the open was the mare, In her grasp was a hard silver container of napkins. She draws her arm back and throws the container at you. You quickly raise your own arm in front of you to block the oncoming object. The concealed weapon impacts the projectile, springs and wire fell from the weapon. You look back in the direction of the stallion, approaching was the same wooden table which saved the intended target from death. It was behind this table that the stallion found cover. He drew closer, using the table as an oversized shield.
You take a step back to assess the situation you found yourself in, only to feel the wooden surface of the bar counter behind you. You glance at the available exits within the room. To your left was the main entrance, and to your right was the back door.

Placing both elbows and forearms on the edge of the bar counter behind you, you lean back and strike the corner of the approaching round table with great force. Both wood and metal explode from the table’s side. Splinters and shards of both elements dispersed in the surrounding area, embedding itself in the floor and ceiling. The table staggers left before rolling to the ground alongside a confused and irritated brown stallion. The warm feeling of a strong forearm wraps around your neck. You are suddenly forced back onto the bar counter where the feeling of wind and air was seized from your lungs. The source resonated from behind; the bartender.
You pull at the arm and struggle to break free from the choke hold, saliva pours between your teeth. The body you possess was open and vulnerable to possible attacks. Looking forward, you spot the mustard colored mare rise from behind the old booth she and soldier originated from at the start of your mission. She reaches her hoof near her side and roughly pulls out a small shard of metal, throwing it onto the floor. She draws her wings back and accelerates forward. Bringing her hoof behind her head, she throws it in front of her, impacting your lower jaw.
Then the world went gray as ash...
The world around flashes white with the feeling of cool unclean water pitched harshly onto your face. The smell of dirt and dust fills your nostrils, throbbing eardrums burn with each sound that was made, and yellow crust along with cold water fills your waking bloodshot eyes. The sides of your jaw were numb with what felt like millions of prickling needles. Your body felt bound and tired.
“Wake up!” The deep voice echoed as the wind sharply passes the front of your body.
The side of your temple was struck with an iron hoof. The world opened with color and light. The wood floor was your only welcome into the world as your head rose to face the rude individuals. You gaze up at the silhouettes which slowly take form with light shining behind them. Their coats are as white as paper, gold armor decorates their bodies and serious stares plaster their faces. One of them leaned in and with minty fresh breath, spoke.
“Rise and shine, assassin!” He grinned, patting the side of your cheek. “Looks like your little job is over, kid!”
It was as obvious as the day itself. They were Royal Guards here to arrest you for your many crimes committed across the land of Equestria. As you look around the large room, you take note that the restaurant was no longer in its pristine condition, instead was destroyed and withered. The wall to the entrance was replaced with a gaping hole, the chandelier was removed from the ceiling which was later found atop a non-moving form, and the floor was riddled with hoof marks and woodcuts. Glasses were broken and furniture was scattered.
Your arms slowly rose into the air by two gold auras before being bound by two strong iron cuffs. You fell to the floor, excruciating pain resonates from the side of ribs.
“Get up, you filth!” The taller guard said as his hoof impacted your side.
Hoping to not be sentenced by another hard kick you attempt to stand, all while struggle to your hooves.

Luna's moon hung elevated within the night sky, illuminating Canterlot Castle's ivory towers. Your mind is set on the chores at hoof, as you dust away dirt and air from the old vase that sat propped on an expensive wood table in the marble hallway of Canterlot. You motion your head back and forth while holding the duster’s handle between your teeth for support. Heavy metal clanged and bashed against one another. The ears atop your head twitch as the Royal guards pass you by with a silent march. You lean your head towards them, but their quick and muscular legs carried them off, away from sight.
You shrug your shoulders and continue your cleaning. Placing the duster in the wood bucket next to you, you examine your work from afar and praise yourself with a smile. There was not much to do as you and your friends made excellent time during the day. But there was still more cleaning to be done. There were only a few rooms left to clean. Finishing your work on the vase and its surrounding area, your thoughts were directed towards your next destination.

The echo of clopping hooves on white marble floor, alongside the clattering of heavy gold armor were the only sounds that followed your descent to the lower levels of the castle of canterlot. Each step you took down the winding stone stars your body dragged and shifted, a side effect of the armor that wrapped around your body which made it difficult to keep proper balance. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, you find yourself occupying the lower quarters of the great hall. The walls were endless in height and length. Stained glass neatly filled the openings where rays of sunlight would occasionally show. The windows depicted pictures of Equestria’s history and encounters through different colored glass or painted panels. Most of which showed battles of long ago wars and recent victories won by 6 mares who bared the elements of harmony.
As you walking down the long corridor, you keep your guard up and your muscles do not rest. As a royal guard and servant to Celestia, you are sworn to protect her and the castle, with your life. Reaching the end of the long hallway, you enter what appears to be the main dining area. Non stained windows covered most of the wall, revealing the outside of the royal gardens. Looking out of the overly large windows you notice the early morning sun rising from behind the Crystal Mountains. It was a wonderful display from Celestia herself. The sun’s warm orange light suddenly drowns your body and armor In a yellow glow. You close your eyes to cherish the sun's comfort.
“Private first class!” The holler of highly skilled vocalist announced from across the room. His voice was deep and abnormally loud.
Your turn your head to face the higher ranking officer with a blank expression. The male was cased in gold armor, iron leggings wrapped around his hooves, and medals of different deeds decorated his left shoulder.
“Report to Captain Shining Armor’s office at once! He wants to speak with you!” Again, the officer yelled.
In one swift motion the officer turned around to face the large gold doors behind you and readied himself to leave the room.

No words escaped your mouth, the same gray expression still plastered on your face. Shifting your entire body towards the officer, you nod your head and compile. Your commanding officer swiftly walked in the direction of the two large golden doors, magic forms at the tip of his horn as the two doors are enveloped in a white aura. The golden doors slowly open with a loud chime before closing behind the irritated pony. You gaze back at the beautiful scenery outside the large windows behind you before marching up the castle stairs with a stern look. The clatter of armor was in the same toon as before while you ascended the steps.
Standing tall and intimidation, more so than the large golden monstrosities near the gardens level, was a purple door with silver text which read “Shining’s Office” engraved in the flat gold price that hung above the entrance.
The captain of the royal guards notices your presence, he placed the quill in his magical grip down on the table. He cross his hooves.
“Hello Privet!” He said in a jovous tone. “Please. Sit.” He pointed with his hoof at the seat next to you.
