Sundays were the days of despair and sadness. Was it because it was the end of the weekend? Maybe it was because everyone dreads the Monday that was just around the corner?
For a certain pink pony it was none of the above, that made Sundays so dreadful! It was because her favorite place in the whole wide world was closed on Sundays, and for Ponyville's number one party pony, not having Sugar Cube Corner open made her whole day boring. It also didn’t help that most of her friends were always busy on this day, which normally would leave her pacing around her room with nothing to do but listen to her thoughts.
This pony’s name as if you haven’t guessed,Was none other than Pinkie Pie, and today was going to change her entire life because at this very moment she was about to stumble on a fact that was so great, not even the writer knew its secrets! It would not only affect herself, but it would change all of her friend’s lives forever.
“I just don’t get it, Gummy, why would Jimmy crack corn if nobody cares? Doesn’t it seem kind of pointless?” The alligator in question just stared as he licked his eye. Pinkie then let out a gasp. “Wait, if Jimmy cracks corn and nobody cares? Then you add together the fact that Luna is a major gamer pony, minus the fact that Big Mac is still hiding Twilight’s doll. Also when you times the Doctor being an over played meme... oh my god that’s it!” exclaimed Pinkie, before jumping out of her thinking chair. She rushed and grabbed her pet, bringing it towards her face. “Gummy, that’s it! I figured it out! It all makes sense now, and all the pieces are starting to fall into place. I have to go talk to the princess as soon as possible!”
Without warning she zoomed around her room, gathering all the things she could possibly need, while a certain gator just stared. With all of her stuff jammed into her tiny saddle bag she smiled, before rushing to kiss Gummy on the head. “Whelp, Gummy, it’s time for me to go convince a certain dragon to send a letter,” with that she bounced off towards the only castle in Ponyville.
Meanwhile at the Hall of Friendship, (Sorry couldn’t help myself) in Twilight’s castle a certain dragon was enjoying some peace and quiet. Twilight had gone on some type of friendship mission with Rainbow Dash and he had the whole castle to himself, with absolutely nothing to do but relax.”SPIKEEEEEEEEE!!” Spike nearly jumped out of his scales as Pinkie appeared out of nowhere, screaming at the top of her lungs. Pinkie didn’t have time to feel bad for the hyperventilating dragon as she had an important mission to complete. “Listen, sorry for scaring you, but I need an audience with Celestia. It’s of utmost importance!” She exclaimed.
Spike was still trying to stop his heart from leaving his chest while he caught his breath. “Pin..Pinkie… Don’t do that!” the young dragon breathed out while trying to stop himself from fainting. He loved Pinkie but sometimes that pony could be a handful.
Pinkie Pie just bounced around in a rush, evidently too excited to settle down, she had to figure out if what she was discovered was true or not, and she wanted to know instantly. “Listen Spike, I am super sorry for scaring you, I am just super excited right now! I Pinkie Promise I will make you a sapphire cake as an apology, but please send a letter to the princess, like ASAP because it's super important that I talk to her! Pretty please? “She begged.
Spike just huffed. “Yeah yeah, I’ll do it, but you better add extra frosting this time”, he muttered. Pinkie bounced with joy, shouting thank you over and over again. As the dragon went to start writing to the princess, he couldn't help but smile to himself. Yes Pinkie could be a handful, but she always made him smile. Spike grabbed the scroll he was writing on and blew his fire, making it disappear. “Now Pinkie, I put that it was important, but I wouldn’t give your hopes up she can be very bus-” He was cut short as he belched out a new scroll.
Pinkie didn’t waste any time grabbing the scroll and ripping it open. “Dear Pinkie, it would be a honor to have an audience with you. As soon as you get here, the guards will escort you to my chambers, so that we may discuss whatever issue is bothering you. It is always a pleasure to have you or any of your friends visit me.” signed Celestia. Pinkie squealed with joy as she grabbed Spike into a back breaking hug screaming thankyous into his ear, before she rushed out the door she stopped to ask a quick question “Spike, don’t you want to know what’s so important?”
Spike just shook his head. “Pinkie I have learned a long time ago not to question you, about anything you think. It just makes my head hurt.”
Pinkie just smiled at the comment. “It’s not my fault, I know what the writers are thinking before reality hits and causes our fate.” Spike was going to make a comment, but was too late as Pinkie was long gone. “Also, I am borrowing the balloon! I’ll bring it back, I Pinkie promise.” Spike just shrugged his shoulders and headed back to his quiet time hoping no more fourth wall breaking interruptions would happen again.
Pinkie could barely contain her excitement as she saw the great Canterlot castle come into view from her place in the sky. Feeling bad for the balloon, she knew it didn’t get to fly anymore, seeing that its owner had some new features that made it sort of pointless. The thought dissipated as she saw the docking station near.
As the hot air balloon slowly made it’s descent to the main gate she bounced in joy. Getting out, she quickly bounced her way up to the front guard announcing her presence. “Miss Pinkie Diana Pie is here for an audience with the princess.”
The guards just bowed their heads as they always did, and replied. “She is waiting for you in the throne room, Miss Pinkie, would you like us to escort you?”
Pinkie just shook her head and smiled. “Nah its cool I know where it is, but thanks anyways,” The guards just nodded and retook up their post. Before she bounced away, she stopped and shifted through her bag pulling out two completely unarmed cupcakes. She placed them in front of the two guards. ”Have a great Sunday guys!” The guards just smiled before thanking her for the treats.
As she neared the doors that lead to her destination her nerves started to manifest themselves. She started to get worried about what would happen if the princess started to get mad about her new discovery, or what if she even forced her to forget it, or maybe she would banish her to the moon. It was pretty groundbreaking, and just maybe Celestia would want to kept it hidden, no matter what she had to do! Pinkie just shook her head and smiled. “Now Pinkie, you are starting to think like Twilight, the princess wouldn’t punish me for this.” Gulping one last time, she pushed the doors open to her fate.
Celestia stood proud and majestic like she always did, as she smiled at the pony who had entered her chamber “What a pleasure it is to see you Pinkie! What is it you wish to speak to me about?” Pinkie stood in place, letting her nerves start getting the better of her.
Celestia just smiled and spoke. “Pinkie, you can always talk to me. I will not be angry at anything you say.”
Pinkie Pie smiled at the kind words spoken and knew it would be okay, quickly looking around the room for no apparent reason. “Well I was sitting in my room having my bored thinking time because the shop is closed today, and it always sucks on Sundays ‘cause there’s nothing to do, and I started doing math in my head thinking about corn and Big Macs, when it all sort of came together in my head that something has been left to question, and made me believe you haven’t been telling us the whole truth about the elements of harmony, and that you are keeping a super-secret from all of us including Twilight!”
Celestia didn’t even seem to be fazed by the accusation, seeing that this happens a lot more than you would think, and nodded her head for her to continue. Pinkie, noticing this, continued speaking. “So I came here to see if it’s true, because if it is it changes everything, and I mean everything! And I need to start fixing the issues that will come from this and soon! Before there is huge heartache and suffering, that could crush my friends, so let's cut to the case! Are we or are we not immortal?”
Celestia gulped, not expecting Pinkie of all people to come to her with this assumption. She had always thought Twilight would be the first to think of this. “Well Pinkie it seems we have a lot to talk about.”

Time to take action
Chapter 2 Time to Take Action
Celestia searched the room, looking to make sure no one else was in hearing distance. After she was sure no one was there, she closed the door with her magic. Then her horn glowed, spreading a white sphere of magic that encased her, Pinkie, and the room around them. Pinkie stood in awe at the beautiful display of magic before her attention was drawn to the princess's voice.
“Now we can talk confidently, my little pony, I have cast a silencing spell so no one can hear us,” she smiled. “I have to say Pinkie, I always thought it would be Twilight, who would figured it out first. No offence.”
Pinkie just smiled as she spoke. “Oh, no offence taken, I’ve always had a way of thinking outside the box or dimension so to speak;” Celestia just nodded her head waiting for her to continue. “But then it dawned on me, you said, and I quote; the Elements of Harmony have been around before you and Luna. And you guys are like ancient, uhh no offence’ She stopped to see if she had offended the princess, it never was a good idea to anger beings who were pretty much gods, but continued when she saw no signs of anger and went on.
“So then I realized that we became the elements, ‘cause after the magic key box opened, a new feeling came over me, and it wasn’t like all the other times we used them. It used to feel like it would surged through me, then go away, but I realized it didn’t feel like we were borrowing the powers like all the other times ! Instead, we were the powers!”
Celestia decided to interrupt and finish the statement for her “And you put together that if the elements were older than me, and you being an element makes you immortal, am I correct on that assumption?" Pinkie nodded excitedly Celestia smiled at her antics “Well I must say I am impressed Pinkie, that is a great deduction on your part.”
Pinkie smile started to wear down as she waited for the answer she sought. Celestia spoke again this time in a lot firmer tone. “Now listen Pinkie, for what I am about to tell you is very important, for you and your friends!" She slammed her hoof upon the ground as if to emphasise the importance of her speech. "Being the Elements of Harmony has granted you many powers, some that make my own seem like child’s play,” She paused, checking to see if the pink mare was still listening. Seeing she still had her full attention, she continued. “You have pretty much been granted the same powers as an alicorn. though your powers only really work when you and your friends are combined. It has given your mortal bodies the boons of a celestial being! That being said, the first power you probably have noticed is that you and your friends are quite resilient. Am I right?”
Pinkie brought a hoof to her chin as she thought of examples, before bouncing in place shouting. “Oh you mean like how Rainbow can crash into things without really injuring herself, or like how Twilight can take the full explosion from one of her messed up experiments without even flinching?” Celestia just smiled at the pony’s antics before speaking.
“Yes, Pinkie, those are a few examples, I am sure you have more, but we must continue. Secondly you six probably haven’t realized it yet but none of you really get sick anymore, that would be another boon from the elements,” Pinkie was going to interject, bringing up the time Discord got sick since he was also an immortal being. However, Celestia beat her to the punch. “However there are still some magical illnesses that can affect you like that, like the nasty green flu Discord caught a while back. Thirdly, you would not have noticed this but you six have also grown stronger in all your abilities. You make people laugh easier, Twilight’s magic is stronger and more potent. Applejack has a lot more stamina and can cause people to speak the truth just by being around them. and so on. But lastly, you girls have gained eternal youth like me and Luna. Now, this does not make you immortal because I myself am not immortal, and though it would be hard, I can also be slayed.” she paused, allowing the information sink in.
Pinkie sat there, dumbfounded, as she sat upon her haunches. She had pretty much figured this out, but hearing it being said was a totally different feeling. “Do you know want this means princess?” She said while grabbing Celestia’s face and bringing her to eye level. “I know what I must do to save my friends, from ever being sad no matter how long we live!” Celestia smiled not wanting to interrupt. “It makes so much sense, the answer is so easy. All I have to do is get all my friends to fall in love with each other! Don't you see, it all makes sense, if they love each other they won’t have to watch their most precious pony die in front of them.
That is why I thought of this being a possibility. If what you say is true, my element has gotten stronger and sensed this upcoming sadness and must fix it!” Pinkie squealed as she let go of Celestia’s face, bringing her into a hug. “ Thank you so much princess, I knew this idea would change everything and it will. Now it's time to put my grand plan into action.” She was about to run out of the room when she was stopped by a magical barrier.
Celestia just chuckled at the shocked pony. “I think that your heart is in the right place, Pinkie, but I have a request before you leave,” Pinkie turned and smiled, realizing she might have gotten a wee bit too excited. ” I know this will be hard for you to do, but try not to tell them that they are immortal just yet. It is a lot to take in, and you are all still so young. The weight of never ending time can put a toll on a pony, trust me.” Celestia pleaded with what seemed to be a glint of sadness upon her face. Pinkie just smiled.
“Oh, don’t you worry about that princess, Auntie Pinkie Pie likes a challenge. I want to get them to fall in love with each other naturally. Telling them would be cheating, and could force them to try and do it out of need, not want.” With that she bowed and ran out the door on to her next great adventure stopping right outside the caste realizing she had one tiny problem.
She didn't really have any experience with romance. Ohh idea! I'll just go get some reading material, Twilight always says that books are super duper helpful. "Oh I know, I’ll stop by the crystal palace and see if the library there has any information!. Twilight is sure to have a book about relationships. The only tricky part is getting her to help me, without her knowing it’s for her and the gals, and not myself." She exclaimed to no one, as she bounced her way to the air balloon excited to get her plan started.
Back at the throne room a shadow emerged from the wall slowly shimmering into a form of a pony. Celestia just smiled. “I knew you were there, dear sister, is something bothering you?” Luna smiled, knowing she never could get the drop on her sister even in this day and time.
“Is it wise to let her do this, sister? Won't she cause problems to the elements?” She questioned, truly concerned that the world's ultimate weapon could be in jeopardy.
Celestia just smiled chuckling to herself. “No my dear sister, if it does anything it will only strengthen their power. Who knows, maybe you and I can finally rest after this is all said and done." She let a small smile grace her lips as she walked out. Besides it would be fun to see something new...

Chap.3 Time For Research and Pie!
Pinkie rushed her way toward her balloon, before skidding to a halt. “Wait, I can’t just go to Twilight's library asking questions, she would figure out that I was up to something, and that could ruin everything!”, Pinkie exclaimed, causing others to stare. With a red tinge now on her cheeks. she laughed. “Sorry about that, umm, does anyone know where I can find a library?”
After many random acts, some involving a rubber chicken (don’t ask), she made her way toward the Canterlot library. She screamed with joy before rushing in, making a very loud entrance. “Shush, mam, this is a quiet place for ponies to read,” whispered a mare sitting behind the main counter. Pinkie bowed her head in shame realizing she may have been a little too excited and trotted up to the counter.
“Sorry about that, mam I get a little excited sometimes,” Pinkie smiled, waiting for a response. Seeing she wasn’t going to get one, she continued. “I am looking for books on how to get ponies to fall in love. Do you have any in here?”
The librarian looked a little surprised by the question, not really pinning the hyper pony as a romantic type.
“Well, mam, we have lots of books that revolve around love and how to court somepony special. Are you looking for one on how to get a colt or a mare?”
Pinkie’s jaw hit the floor at the question, since she had assumed that mare on mare love would be taboo. Seeing her reaction the librarian sighed. “This may sound strange, but you are in Canterlot, where the mares outnumber the colts three to one so yes, it is very accepted here,”
Pinkie blushed yet again at her statement. “eh, sorry again, It’s not that I don’t think it's common, it’s just that this is the first time I have really thought about stuff like this, so yes I would like one that would help with mare on mare relations. Wow, that’s a mouthful,” She beamed. The librarian sighed yet again, before pointing towards a section of the library. Pinkie smiled, before grabbing the poor pony in a hug screaming
“Thank you thank you thank you,” before rushing off towards her destination.
The librarian let a small smile dawn her lips, before she quickly said, “and do it quietly”.
Books, books, and even more books littered the ground around Pinkie Pie. Letting out a sigh of defeat Pinkie slammed her head against the table. All the books she had gone through had no real information on her problem. Most of them seem to be cheesy little romance novels, but no real help on starting a relationship.
“Ah, We didn't expect to see you here, element of laughter” Pinkie pie, launched herself in the air letting a small squeal escape, turning to yell at the pony who scared her, she stopped in her tracks at the sight of the princess of the night.
“Oh, it's you Luna, you scared the crap out of me,” Luna only chuckled as the pink pony in front of her caught her breath.
“We, are sorry, we didn't mean to scare you, little one , we were just curious as to why you are here?” Pinkie Pie, looked down at the mess before her and sobbed.
Quickly she spilled her plans, about finding a way to get her friends together, but had no idea where to start, Luna only glanced at the mess before her as she spoke.
“ Well, my little pony, we are not without knowledge of love, it's been our experience that opposites attract each other,” Pinkie Pie took this opportunity to cock her head in confusion. Luna only chuckled.
“It sounds odd, but take us for example, we are load and sometimes very arrogant, we find shy, and calm very attractive, it's as the old saying goes, opposites attract”
As if a light bulb went off in Pinkie’s head she let a squeal of joy leave her throat, as she brought Luna into an embrace, “ That's perfect! I know just who to hook up know, thank you so much,”
Luna went to say thank you, only to see her guest had already left leaving the mess of books around her, with a happy sigh Luna started to clean the mess around her.

Rarity was surrounded by customers as he tried to jot down all the requests coming her way. Her boutique had not been so busy in a long time, just as she was getting another order, a certain pink mare jumped in, “Rarity I really need to talk to you,”
Rarity let a small smile form , before she shook her head in sadness, “Oh , I'm awfully sorry dearie I am rather busy at the moment can it wait,”
Pinkie’s excitement deflated as she hung her head, “Oh, I understand it's not that important, I just wanted to talk about romance,” it seemed as if the whole store stood still as the sound of Rarity’s pen dropping echoed.
“I need everypony out, there is an emergency, out, I will get you all tomorrow,” Pinkie stood in awe as Rarity pushed all of her customers out, once the customers had cleared the store, she took the time to close all the blinds in the windows,
With a click of the doors lock Rarity pulled her red couch to where she was facing her friend, with a tiny glint in her eyes she spoke, “Now, tell me again what you wanted to know about romance,”
Pinkie could only gulp.

GETTING DOWN AND DIRTY
By huntersunday
Pinkie gulped, not quite finding the words she wanted to say as the white unicorn leaned in with a beaming smile. “Oh, don’t be shy, dearie! You came to me for help, did you not?”
Rarity could barely contain her excitement. She had been waiting for one of her friends
to show romantic interest, in, well anything. She had sometimes believed she was the only one who wanted to find love. “Now, Pinkie, I know you didn’t come all this way just to sit there, fiddling with your hooves. Talk to me.”
Pinkie smiled, feeling a little bit less nervous, and spoke “Well, Rarity, I don’t really know much about romance and what not, and I thought to myself, who would be able to give me examples of what I should look for in a special pony? Afterwards, it hit me: why not talk to the one friend who talks nonstop about finding love?” Rarity just smiled, trying to hold in a squeal of glee at hearing those words from Pinkie.
“So I thought I should hear what you sought in a companion!”
Rarity’s smile grew even bigger, hearing somepony that wanted to listen to her talk about the perfect stallion. “Well, Pinkie first I can tell you that everybody likes different things, myself included. Just because I like it doesn’t mean you would,” Pinkie started to speak but was stopped by a hoof on her mouth. “But I can tell, you are really interested in my view of a perfect stallion, so I might as well indulge you.” Pinkie just nodded with a huge grin on her face, hoping what the princess taught her would come in handy for this conversation.
Rarity sat back in her chair and took a sip of her tea, before gaining a dream like state. “
Now. I’ll tell you, Pinkie, my thoughts on the perfect stallion has changed a lot since the Grand Galloping Gala. I used to want somepony just like me, a proper stallion if you will but after that night and many other instances with ‘noble’ ponies, I have learned that just isn't what I want in a man,” she stops, taking a quick glance to see if she still had her friends attention. Upon seeing that Pinkie was still captivated, she continued.
“I have come to find myself wanting someone strong and caring. Someone who could sweep me of my feet and show me how to feel safe and secure. If we're being honest here, I wouldn’t even mind if the pony I was talking about didn’t mind getting down and dirty!” Pinkie was about to question her but was stopped by Rarity speaking. “I know what you are thinking, I hate dirt, but that’s just it! I want someone who wouldn’t mind getting dirty for me, someone who when after coming home from a hard day’s work would be gleaming with sweat, showing off their fine body, and asking me to help them get cleaned.” Rarity paused to wave a hoof in front of her face.
Pinkie could barely contain her excitement. This was exactly as the princess said,
opposites do attract. The only problem currently was that Rarity kept saying the stallion of her dreams.
Thinking to herself, she decided asking outright would be the best course of action. “
Rarity, I have one quick question?” Rarity snapped out of her thoughts and smiled,
nodding her head to continue. “Well, you keep saying the ‘stallion of your dreams’, would it a problem if it was the mare of your dreams?”
Rarity’s eyes grew to the size of saucers at the question. it all made sense. Pinkie was into other mares, no wonder she was nervous about it. She had to reassure her friend that there was nothing wrong with the idea. “Oh, Pinkie, there is nothing wrong with liking other mares, my dear. It’s just, in my case it’s a tall order for a mare to fill in the shoes of the ruff and gruff stallion I’m looking for.”
If Pinkie’s smile could grow any more, it would have. Instead she spoke. “So what you’re saying is if you could meet a mare that could meet your expectations, you would try to go out with them?” Rarity just stared not liking where this was going.
“Well, if there was a mare out there that could sweep me of my feet... then I would
consider it.”
Pinkie jumped with joy at that statement, and got right up in Rarity’s face “Then I have a super duper idea! How about we make a bet?”
Rarity gulped at the sudden closeness, but spoke. “A bet? Whatever do you mean Pinkie?”
Pinkie drew even closer before speaking. “If I can tell you a mare who meets all of your
standards, you have to go court them!”
Rarity’s brow rose in curiosity. “Okay let’s say I accept your bet. What will you do if who you say doesn’t meet my expectations?”
Pinkie stepped back and brought her hoof up to her face in thought “ Oh, I know. Not only will I be a model for your dresses for a week, I will let you do that thing you always
wanted to do!” Rarity gasped she couldn’t mean what she thought she meant could she.
“You will let me do your mane?” Rarity almost shot out of her seat at the idea.
Pinkie just nodded. Rarity let out a squeal of delight before extending her hoof “Deal!’
Pinkie quickly grabbed her hoof and gave it a shake before sitting down. “So before I say who, let me ask some questions.” Rarity nodded, thinking she had this bet in the bag.
“You said it had to be somepony honest and strong?” She nodded. “Somepony who
could sweep you of your feet and had no problem getting dirty for you?” Rarity smiled
surprised she was listening so well. “And even though you didn’t say it outright, you want somepony strong and well toned to stare at when they come and see you?’ Rarity’s cheeks turned crimson at the statement but nodded.
Pinkie smiled once more before speaking. “Then it’s simple, Rarity, your perfect mare is none other than Applejack!” she exclaimed with pure joy. Rarity, on the other hand was not faring as good. Her pupils had shrunk to the size of pinpricks, and her jaw was
hanging so low a bird might think it was a new bird house.
“What..ev-ever do you mean, Pinkie? There is no way Applejack falls into those
descriptions.” Pinkie just gave her an unimpressed look.
At this, Rarity took some time to think on her friend's words. She had never thought of
Applejack in the way of romance but Pinkie was right to some degree. She was indeed, honest and strong. She also had a great body. My gosh Rarity how dare we think of such things like her well-toned thighs and the way her flank… bad brain stop thinking.
Pinkie just continued to smile, knowing she had her right where she wanted her. “So Rare, you’re not going to back out of the bet, are you?” Rarity was in a state of shock. All the thoughts she never had started to flow through her mind that Applejack was not only exactly the person she described, but the thought of her being with the countrymare was scandalous and as much as she would hate to admit it was a huge turn on.
Snapping out of her thoughts she spoke “No Pinkie, I won’t back out. A lady never breaks a bet with a friend. I just was so sure there was no mare who could meet my standards, I blinded myself from the obvious!”
At this she put her face in her hooves and sobbed. Pinkie instantly grew worried.
“I didn’t mean to upset you, Rarity, I thought you would be happy that there was
somepony out there for you...”
Rarity lifted her head and choked out a sob. “It’s not that Pinkie it's just... what am I
supposed to do? Now that I know, how do I talk to her? What do I say? I don’t want to ruin our friendship.”
Pinkie just smiled. “Oh, is that all you silly filly it’s an easy answer,” Rarity choked back a sob as she waited for her friend to continue. ”You just need to go talk to her, learn more about her and spend time with her. At least that’s what most the books said.”
Rarity sat up with a glare. “And just how am I supposed to do that, just walk up to her and say ‘hey Applejack I want to know more about you out of nowhere!’ Doesn't that seem strange to you?”
Pinkie sat back in thought at her response before she had a great idea but Rarity was not going to like it not one bit. “Well Rares, it’s easy! You’re just going to have to get down and dirty for the mare of your dreams!”

A Diamond Finds an Apple
By huntersunday
As she walked down the dusty dirt road, she could barely enjoy the beautiful scenery around her, with the thoughts in her head keeping her focus on the new development that had occurred. She couldn’t believe that Pinkie, the super crazy and hyperactive pony beside her was able to not only trick her into trying to court one of her dear friends, but was also able to convince her that one of the best ways to spend time with Applejack would be to go to the apple farm and ask to help buck apples with her.
She glanced at the bouncing pink mass of joy beside her and let out a sigh. “Pinkie, dear are you positively sure this is the best of ideas? Don’t you think Applejack will figure something out?“ She said, watching Pinkie smiling before shaking her head.
“Now now, Rarity you’re not trying to get out of your end of the bet are you?” Pinkie took this time to lean in close, practically putting her face only inches from Rarity’s giving her a stern look. Rarity let out another sigh, before shaking her head. Pinkie jumped away from her spot with a grin, before speaking. “And don’t you worry that pretty little head of yours, Rares there is no way Applejack will figure it out cause its foolproof! Almost as foolproof as Twilight's amazing time mission, which entailed a lot of super fun things we….”
Pinkie’s voice had slowly turned into the sound of white noise to Rarity’s ears, with her nerves getting irritated the longer it took to get to Sweet Apple Acres. Finally seeing the famous apple barn’s roof, she let out another sigh. She was really hoping Pinkie’s plan would work out, but she had her worries but she was a lady after all and a lady always kept their word. No matter what was to come of the little adventure she would take it in stride. She would be lying to herself if she didn’t admit that there was a big hope in her heart that it would work in her favor. Now that Pinkie had made her realize how much Applejack matched her perfect stallion she couldn’t keep her mind off of her friend’s beautiful, muscular, and well-toned body. It also didn’t help that Applejacks honesty and warm heart only made her more attracted to her.
She was pulled from her heated thoughts by a loud outburst from her friend. “Look, Rarity I can see Applejack over there by the barn!” The pony in question looked up at Pinkie’s shout and smiled before waving them over to her. Rarity swallowed hard, it was now or never as she shook her head in hopes to get all the negative thoughts out and smiled.
“Why, hello Applejack! You were just the pony we were looking for,” She slowly made her way towards Applejack while chanting Pinkie’s idea in her head so that she didn’t mess up the plan.
“Well hay gals what y’all doing out here today?” Applejack smiled, always happy to see her friends swing by. Rarity at the moment was having what could only be explained as stage fright. She just couldn’t bring herself to speak now that she was right in front of her new crush, it seem that she had a frog stuck in her throat. Luckily a certain pink mare came in to save the day.
Breathing in a bunch of air Pinkie spoke “Well, to tell you the truth Applejack yesterday I was up in my room bored and I thought to myself you know what Pinkie Pie? You should make new flavors for some cupcakes, because you know you can never have enough cupcakes or enough flavors for them. So I got super excited and made like twenty different types and eat a good amount and went, ‘damn, these all taste amazing!’ , but then I realized I like all things sweet and it made me think hey there Pinks you should go get one of your friends to try these with so I was like boom I know exactly who would be picky about these here sweets and made my way over to Rarity’s” She stopped to take another huge breath “ So then I was like tell what you think of them and Rarity being so generous and all that ate the whole bunch with me which was super-duper of her but afterwards she felt her stomach was a little bulgy and was worried about her lady like figure, So I was like let's go meet up with Applejack so we could help do some apple bucking cause what’s more exercising than bucking and now we're here.”Pinkie then smiled as if the giant amount of info she just said was nothing.
Applejack just rubbed her head trying to piece together all the info she heard before turning to Rarity and speaking. “So let me try to sum this up... y'all ate too many sweets and want to help me buck some apples to help you lose weight? Am I in the ballpark here?” Pinkie and Rarity just nodded their heads in confirmation. Applejack let out a small chuckle. “Well, shoot I ain't one to turn away free help. I’m sure you gals can help me buck. Heck I was just heading to the northeast orchard to buck some early bloomers, not much to do besides that today,”
Rarity was just about to give her thanks when she was interrupted by a loud gasp. “Ooh, I just remembered the Cakes needed me to help watch the twins! I’m so sorry girls, I’ll have to come back another time,” She then turned and gave a small wink to Rarity but before Rarity could complain there was already a dust cloud from where the pink mare once stood.
“Well shucks, Rarity it looks like it’s just you and me now,” Applejack beamed while throwing her leg over Rarity’s shoulder. “Whelp let’s get to bucking,” Rarity could only swear under her breath while trying not to blush at the sudden contact.
It had already been a couple of hours and a certain pink mare would probably run for the hills if she only could hear the thoughts that were going on in Rarity’s head. She was sweaty, dirty and tired from her constant bucking, on the plus side though she was able to spend some time with her Apple. Wait did I say my Apple damn you Pinkie I can’t get her out of my head. She was pulled from her thoughts by Applejack’s voice “You ready for some lunch sugar cube?”
Rarity smiled at the nickname “Yes I am, quite famished darling, it sounds like a great time for a snack,” Applejack smiled before trotting over to her discarded saddlebags she brought and started to pull out a quilt and two wrapped sandwiches. She then spread the quilt on the ground and placed the sandwiches in the center before smiling at Rarity and patting the spot she was supposed to sit. Rarity smiled before sitting down and elevating the sandwich towards her and went to dig in but stopped mid bite at the stern look upon her friends face.
Before she could ask what was wrong, Applejack spoke. “Rarity do ya think I’m dumb or something?” Rarity dropped her sandwich in shock at the question before speaking.
“Why on earth would you even think that dear?” She was really hoping she hadn’t offended her new love interest by doing something stupid.
“Ah know you’re not here for exercise, Rares I know you. You always have a great body and a few cupcakes ain't gonna ruin it. So now yall stop acting like I’m stupid and tell me why you’re here?”
Rarity hung her head in shame she knew this idea was a long shot but she had hoped it would have lasted longer. "To tell you the truth I used Pinkie's idea to get a chance to spend time with you. You see, I realized we don't spend much time together and I don't really know that much about you outside the few times we hanged out with our friends and wanted to rectify that."
She didn't want to raise her face in fear of Applejack’s reaction to her confession but stilled her nerves and looked anyways, only to be shocked at the smile on her friend's face."Well shucks sugarcube all ya had to do was asked me. I would of talked to ya!"This time Rarity didn't try to hide her blush of embarrassment and smiled. "So what ya wanna know?"

As she sat across from her crush, Rarity was doing everything in her power to not jump up in glee! She never would have believed that Pinkie’s strange plan would bear fruit. She smiled as she noticed that Applejack had kept her warming smile, waiting for her questions. “Well I guess the first thing I want to ask is... do you do anything in your spare time except hang with me and the girls?”
Applejack let out a small chuckle.“Well of course I do. I bet you wouldn't know it, but ah like to read every once and awhile.” She replies. Rarity raised a brow, since she had never pictured Applejack being a reader. “Now don't go thinking I’m a egghead like Twi, I just enjoy a good story as a way to relax.”
Rarity let out her own laugh, the sound escaping her lips. “I would never have accused you of being one... I’m guessing you enjoy adventure books like Daring Do?” Applejack let out a hearty laugh, causing Rarity to lean back in a tiny amount of awe. “ Did I say something funny, dear?”
Applejack tried to compose herself but for some reason couldn't stop laughing. Finally she steadied herself and responded. “Good Celestia no, could you imagine how hard it would be to get Rainbow Dash out of my hair? She would always be on my farm talking about the new book and what not. Nah, sugarcube I prefer to have some mystery rather than them, it's sometimes fun to try and figure out the ending before you get there, you know?”
Rarity let a small smile grace her lips. “Well, I would have never guessed that.” She stopped to think of a new question, but the only one that came to her mind may cause her friend some distress. Bucking up she asked. “I know this may be a personal question dear, but is the hat ontop of your head your father’s?”
A tiny sliver of sorrow shone on Applejack’s face, but it quickly disappeared as if it was never there. “It's fine to ask that, heck I am sorta surprised no one else has ask that before. The answer to your question is no. It belong to my ma, you see she was the farmer in the family,” Applejack paused to stare up into the sky, letting a small smile grace her lips. “You know it's all in the genes Rares, my ma was a farmer and it made me a farmer. Just like ah'm sure your mom had something to do with your dress making?” She beamed at her friend only to drop her smile at the sight of distress upon Rarity’s face, but before she could ask what was wrong, Rarity spoke first.
“Sorry Applejack, I know I get a little over dramatic sometimes, but do you have time for a personal story of mine?” Applejack just smiled before nodding her head in approval, bringing a small smile to Rarity’s face. “ Well when you brought up my mother it brought up some old memories about my past with her,” As she spoke each word her face continued to drop in sorrow.
Seeing this fact Applejack quickly interfered. You don't have to talk about if you don't wanna, but if you do I will listen all the same, sugarcube” Rarity choked back a sob before smiling at her friends kindness, always wanting to help others and not cause them pain, another one of the many reasons she started to like her.
“No dear I can't really place it, but I feel as if I have needed to say this for a while, and you somehow just make me want to be honest,” Applejack let a small blush appear as she listened. “Well, a lot of you don't know this but my mother used to be a broadway pony, She used to be a headliner in canterlot, always saying she would have been a star” She paused, looking at nothing in particular before letting a small tear fall.
But she fell in love with a traveling salespony, and then out of nowhere she became pregnant! This caused her to stay at home and lose her headliner. And when I was born she started to take up drinking.” Tears fell freely down her face as she tried to speak, so enthralled with her story she never noticed a certain orange mare move toward her.
She choked out another sob as she spoke. “ Sometimes when my father wasn't home she would yell at me, most of the ti..time it was the same saying, I..I ruined her life it was all my fault that she lost her sh..sho…” Rarity let a small gasp leave her lips as she felt herself be pulled into a warm embrace.
Running her hooves into the shivering mare's coat, Applejack whispered “ It's okay sugar, let it all out, I’m not going anywhere.” Without hesitation Rarity buried her face into her warm chest, and wailed to her heart's content. Applejack just sat there in silence, letting her friend let it all out. Yes, Rarity could be a drama queen but Applejack knew that these were real tears and would not leave her.
Finally after what seemed like hours, Rarity started to calm down and slowly lifted her head to gaze at her knight. Did I just think of her as my knight? She stopped thinking as she noticed the grim look on Applejacks face, before she could ask her spoke. “ I hate to ask this sugar, but does she still do this to Sweetie Belle?”
Rarity just shook her head and smiled. “No. I believe she got it out of her system around the time I got my cutie mark.” She replies. She slowly pulled herself from her friends embrace, not really wanting to let go. Applejack let out a small chuckle before looking at the placement of the sun.
“Well would ya look at that, It's mid afternoon,” Rarity let a small look of displeasure slip through her face, but was pulled by Applejack's voice. “Well I didn't really getta answer a lot of your questions... oh I know! Why don't you stay for dinner and then we can keep chatting? If you want to we could even have a slumber party?” Rarity let a smile grace her lips.
“I would love to darling, but first? Can I get a shower? I am covered in dirt and sweat” Applejack let out another hearty laugh.
“Well of course sugarcube, Granny would tan my hide if I didn't get cleaned up before supper. Same goes for you as well” Rarity let another blush dawn as she chuckled, excited to spend more time with her fair knight.
Now she found herself alone in Applejack’s room, dinner had been nice and quiet, attended by only her, Applejack, and a currently sleeping Granny Smith. Applejack was downstairs cleaning up the kitchen. She had offered to help, only for her request to be refused, simply because she was a guest. So now she had all the time in the world to inspect the room around her.
The only problem was there wasn't much to take in. Applejack’s room was small and simple. There was just one bed, a dresser and night stand. It was just like her: simple and pure. She let out a small chuckle as she noticed the pictures on the wall near the window. Letting her curiosity get the best of her, she walked over to the wall and started to take in the many memories that were placed upon the wall.
Tap..tap..tap . Rarity nearly jumped out of her fur when she turned to the sound of tapping on Applejack’s window. Outside floated a smiling Pinkie Pie who seemed to be lifted by a bunch of balloons strapped to her body. Sighing, Rarity lifted the window open to hear what her friend had to say.
As soon as the window started to open, the sound of Pinkie’s voice pierced through the silence. “See, I told you getting down and dirty would help! Now you are already up in her bedroom, you naughty pony you.” Rarity’s face was now aflame in crimson, cheeks could be mistaken for Big Mac’s own fur.
“Pinkie Pie! It is nothing like that, She just suggested I stay the night so that we could get acquainted!” Pinkie could do nothing but let out a small laughter.
“Well duh. I’m just messing with you Rares, I just came by to make sure everything was going according to plan. And it is, so I am going to get out of your mane, but you have to tell me everything later, kay?” Rarity went to respond only to notice that Pinkie had already floated away.
Shaking her head at her friends antics, she turned back to wall in front of her. She tilted her head in question before the thought graced her lips. “Why isn't there any pictures of her father?”

An Apple Can Be Sour

Rarity’s eyes scanned the wall, making glances every which way, trying to find a single picture of Applejack’s father. Her eyes soon stopped their wondering at a single faded picture. The photo showed three ponies smiling together, on the left stood what could only be a young Big Mac, Rarity could only laugh to herself, seeing Big Mac so small was quite funny.
Her musings ceased as she looked at the young filly on the right, a tiny orange filly smiled back at her, a small smile graced her lips as she could see the determined look in the young one’s eyes. Last, but not least, there stood a beautiful mare she had never seen, her coat was as orange as Applejack’s, but her mane was just like Big Mac’s, but what pulled her full attention was Applejack’s stetson sitting on the top of her head.
“She sure was pretty, wasnt she?”, Rarity jumped back, letting out a squeak of surprise, turning around. She let out a gasp of relief at the sight of her smirking friend.
Bringing her hoof to her chest, Rarity tried to catch her breath, only to have stolen once more, as Applejack removed her hat placing it on a hook next to her door. Rarity’s cheeks heated up as her new crush pulled her hair bands out, letting her beautiful golden locks fall free. Shaking her head vigorously she tried to calm herself, while thinking to herself: ‘Get a hold of yourself, Rarity, you've seen Applejack with her hair down plenty of times, just like you’ve seen her well toned legs and flan- Bad , Rarity ! A lady does not think these kind of thoughts! ’
She took a quick glance to see if her crush noticed her reaction, but felt relief as she noticed that Applejack was still removing her tail band. Glancing back at the wall once more she asked, “ Applejack, if I may be so bold, I noticed you don't have any pictures of your dad?”
“That's because there isn't any pictures of him, or Big Mac’s father,” Rarity let out a gasp, the information shocking her. Applejack only nodded toward her bed, she walked her way over to her bed plopping down on the end. “Ah guess since you told me about your past, Ah should tell you some of mine.”
Rarity slowly made her way toward the bed, carefully examining her friend’s face to see if there was any sign of distress. She didn't want to upset Applejack after all, by treading up the past. Her thoughts were cut short by her crush's voice. “It’s okay, sugarcube, Ah’m not mad, but it's a long story so you best make yourself comfortable.”
Rarity let out a sigh of relief, as she sat on the bed, “I have no problem with it being long darling, but you don't have to tell me if it upsets you.”
Applejack let out a chuckle before shaking her head, “It’s only fair, shucks in all truth it would probably do me some good getting it off my chest, just like you did.” After her statement, Rarity smiled, slowly moving closer to the orange mare. “Well the first thing you need to know, if you didn't already figure it out, is that Big Mac is Applebloom's and my half brother.” Rarity only shook her head in understanding not wanting to interrupt. “You see, my ma and granny didn't always get along, my ma wanted to leave the farm and became a big time city gal, but Granny Smith flat out refused to let her go, so they tended to always butt heads. Now that Ah think about it, that's probably the reason granny let me go to Manehattan so easily, she didn't want to make the same mistake twice.”
“Anyways, my ma got tired of it all and ran for the hills, and you know us Apples we can be awfully stubborn, so granny refused to go looking for her.” Applejack paused to take a quick glance at her friend, a small smile appeared on her face, when she noticed Rarity had gotten closer to her, leaning in with great curiosity.
“As Ah was saying, soon a few months went by and granny started to get real worried, she hadn't heard a word from her since she left, but one day there was a knock on the door, on the other side was my ma, her belly was swollen and her face was covered in tears. Granny didn't ask any questions, only accepted her back with open arms. My ma never said who got her pregnant, none of us even know Big Mac’s father's name, when we ask her about it, she said we were better of not knowing.” Surprise showed on Rarity’s face, before she slowly nuzzled Applejacks shoulder for her to continue.
Applejack smiled at the contact. “After Mac was born, my ma really got into farming, she really started to put her all into the farm, she even started to reach out to other towns in hopes of spreading her sales, so eventually she found herself in Canterlot, where according to her she meet the sweetest royal guard. Granny tells me my ma would always come home giddy as a filly, after she visited her coltfriend.”
After a quick pause, Applejack spoke once more, “Then after a couple of months my ma started showing, and soon Ah was brought into the world. Now my pa couldn't visit much being part of the royal guard, but he would always send bits to help ma out, heck if Ah think back on it, Ah might have only seen him ten times in my life.” Rarity’s ears perked up, as Applejack’s words started to slur, Rarity only brought herself closer, leaning into her friend’s form as a sign of comfort.
Applejack choked out a sob as she spoke, “A few years down the road the bits came in less, and less, soon there was no letters from my pa, but one day my ma got a letter from the royal guard,” she stopped, a sob breaking through her speech, “My pa had gotten real sick and wasn't going to make it, the letter only asked for my ma to come.”
Applejacks speech was cut off, as her tears flowed freely, Rarity wasted no time as she wrapped her hooves around her bringing her into a close embrace. “Oh Applejack, it must have hurt you so much, to hear your father not asking for you to come, we don't have to keep going if this is too upsetting.” Applejack only sniffed before vigorously shaking her head.
“Ah started this, and Ah’m going to finish it.” Rarity couldn't help but smile, even in distress her Applejack would be too stubborn to quit, but she wouldn't be Applejack if she wasn't so thick headed.
“As Ah was saying, pah passed away and ma came back to the farm. A couple of months down the road we realized pah left her with a gift, ma was pregnant once more. Things started to get real happy around the farm with a new one coming along, until my ma started to get really weak,” Applejack paused slowly leaning into Rarity's warmth calming herself. “Soon ma couldn't even stand, so we took her to a doctor, soon the doctor came around to give the worst news, the filly was killing my ma on the inside. He said we had a choice if we killed the baby my ma would be saved, but if we kept it ma would die,” Tears flowed even faster down Applejack’s face, Rarity herself found her face wet with tears, the sad life her friends mom must have had, plus she was given the hardest choice to make.
Applejack stiffened herself as she spoke, “But you know us Apples, stubborn as heck, ya know what my ma said? She said her life was full of mistakes and the only right choices she made was having her kids, and she wasn't going to let a little apple seed die for her to live, she wanted that little seed to bloom into a fine filly.”
At some point Applejack had buried herself back into Rarity’s chest, as she openly sobbed. Rarity sat in shock at her friend's words, her voice slowly coming to her, “That's how Applebloom got her name, that's the most beautiful and sad thing I have ever heard, your mom was a real special pony.”
Applejack pulled back from Rarity’s chest, locking eyes with her friend, “Thanks for listening Rares, Ah never told anyone that story. It feels good letting it all out.” Rarity’s face grew red as she noticed the closeness of her friends muzzle.
Quickly but shakily, she spoke. “ Well, I’m happy to have helped, I know I don't show it often, but I do care about you Applejack, I'm sorry if it ever seemed I didn't.”
Applejack just stared, as a small smirk graced her lips. “You know Rarity, Ah think there's more to this then you're letting on?” Applejack leaned in even closer, Rarity’s face grew an even deeper shade as she felt Applejack’s breath. “You know Ah’m brash and honest, and Ah sometimes do things without thinking,” Rarity could only gulp as Applejack inched in closer.
“But you know, Ah think what Ah’m about to do is what we both want.” Slowly, Rarity started to build the courage to speak only to have it shattered as Applejack placed her lips on top of her own. She could only moan as the feeling of her new crush’s lips graced her, without any hesitation she promptly fainted.
Applejack only chuckled as she moved the prone mare into a more comfortable position. With a yawn she reached for the blanket covering herself and her guest, with a smile she wrapped her arms around her, letting the sweet embrace of sleep take hold.
Neither one of the emotionally tired mares saw the dancing pink mare just outside the bedroom window.

The Nerd And The Questionnaire

The Nerd and The Questionnaire
By huntersunday
Pinkie Pie squealed in joy. She had know idea her plan would have unfolded so well. It was kinda surprising to see her friends kiss, most of the books she read said it took a while to get to that point. However the results were right in front of her.
Jumping off her perch, she shot her arms in the air. Giggles escaped as she relived the kiss in her mind. Though her job was far from over. Yes they made great progress, but this was just the beginning. Pinkie had to get them to fall in love. For now, she was going to accept her small victory.
As her mind filled with all the ideas of dates and parties she would throw. A silent voice spoke from deep within, Alone! Pinkie stopped midair, her hair slightly deflating. Quickly she shook herself causing the hair to poof once more. “That was strange. Where did that sad voice come from. This is a happy moment,” Pinkie glanced around trying to pinpoint the source, but found none.
Pinkie just shrugged her shoulders. Now was not the time to be looking for strange voices. She needed to get to her party cave and plan out her next steps. She still had friends that needed to be saved.
Yes, Pinkie was a crazy party pony. She was messy, loud and hyper. It was always a shock to anypony who had the honor of stepping into her party cave. Her organization skills could be on par with a certain princess of friendship. Everything had its place, cabinets for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and even filly showers. Where all incredibly organized, even sometimes creepy with the date system. Some predicting future births down to the week.
Pinkie sat looking at her newest addition to her fortress. In front of her sat a giant white board with crude drawings of her friends. Rarity’s and Applejack’s picture had a tiny check mark beside them. With a little note saying she need to keep her eye on them. Smiling Pinkie now circled Twilight’s pic writing beside it, normal mode. Glancing at her pic of Fluttershy she shook her head.
“Fluttershy is going to be hard. Her shyness is going to be the biggest problem. Twilight will need a little push to get going and Flutters isn't known to push. Besides Luna said opposites attract. Twilight and Fluttershy have a little too much in common. So that leaves my wild card, Rainbow Dash.”
Pinkie Pie pondered, Rainbow Dash was the opposite of both her friends. However if she took in the fact that Rarity and Applejack were opposites as well what could she possibly link. A smile broke through as a light went off in her head. Pinkie took her marker and started scribbling on the board.
True there were many differences between Applejack and Rarity, but they also had similarities. Like hard working and family. Taking in these facts it was easy to pick the mare for Rainbow. Fluttershy was so much different from her brash friend,, she didn't like to fly. She hated to brag, plus she was always quite. Were Rainbow Dash was not.
Twilight on the other hand, seemed to enjoy flying with Rainbow Dash. She was even known to brag about her discoveries, not as much as Rainbow Dash mind you. Definitely more than Fluttershy. Pinkie smiled as she drew a line between the jock and the nerd. It was sort of like one of those funny romance stories.
Looking at Fluttershy’s picture once more, she circled writing hard mod beside it. Now all she needed to do was come up with a plan to get the two mares together. There were so many different scenarios that played in her head. If she talked to Rainbow she would get laughed at. Twilight on the other hand was a different story, she would surely put Pinkie off as being crazy.
Pinkie was puzzled, how do you make a nerd take the time to look into love? How do you stop a speedster long enough to consider a relationship. Plus there was a big chance neither one was into mares. Pinkie’s main deflated as she glanced around her room, nothing in here would really help her. It was like divine intervention struck as a pile of magazines fell. Pinkie’s brow raised as she glanced at the magazine that flew toward her feet.
What is your perfect party? Grabbing the magazine Pinkie pondered at the title. “Huh, that's it! How do you make a nerd consider love, you test her on it! Its perfect now all I have to do is convince her to take it.” In a blur of pink the party cave was strone about as papers, streamers and wrapping paper flew around. Finally the storm subsided as Pinkie held a very well drawn magazine. There was not time to lose as she dashed away. Nopony would ever question how the room now sat perfectly clean.
Twilight let out a sigh of boredom. Her new library had been set up and re-re organized twice! Everypony would think being a princess would be long and tedious for Twilight this was not the case. This is why she almost squealed in joy as a musical tapping hit the door.
“Thank sweet Celestia, I would take cerberus escaping Tartarus again just to have something to do.” Twilight smiled, opening the door only to be blasted by a cloud of confetti. She couldn't help but giggle as she smiled at her friend. “What can I do for you Pinkie? Got another party planned.”
“Nope, no birthdays or anniversaries that I know off. Wait! Is there a party I should know about. Did I forget somepony-” Pinkie’s rant was cut short by a purple hoof. Twilight shook her head as she giggled.
“No Pinkie you didnt forget one, I thought maybe I forgot some ponies. What can I do for you Pinkie Pie?” Pinkie calmed herself, now that the party crisis was averted. She could go to her next step.
“Well I wanted to give you a test. You see I have a friend who knows a friend, who's a cousin of a friend that wants to run a relationship help company. So I have this questionnaire that ask certain questions and boom it tells you who you are perfect for.”
Twilight tilted her head, “So you came to me, Pinkie I’m flattered but relationships aren't really my forte.” Pinkie only smiled, she had already thought of this reaction.
“I know silly, but you are great at taking tests. So I figured if you answered the questions I would be able to tell my friend it gives great results. I know you would answer them as logically as you could.” Twilight didnt respond, true she would be the best to give the most logical answers and it really wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. It’s not like something life changing could come from it.
“Well Pinkie, I’ll bite. I don't have anything to do right now anyways. So let's sit down and you can give me your test.” Pinkie wanted to hope in joy, but chose to stay calm as she followed Twilight to some chairs. Pinkie Pie grew a bit nervous as Twilight stared at her waiting intently.
“Heh well okie dokie. First question, Are you into mares, stallions or both? Wowie that's a pretty personal question. You don't have to answer it.” To Pinkie’s surprise Twilight just giggled.
“Oh Pinkie that's okay, of course they should be personal how else would you develop a deep bound? As for the question it's both. Since I lived in Canterlot most of my life. I kinda grew attached to both sexes which by the way. Princess Celestia has no problem with.” Pinkie’s inner mind danced in joy at hearing both. One problem being pushed aside, she asked her next question.
“If you were to chose a body type what would it be, A little chubby, really muscler, very thin or athletic and lean?”
“ Hum, that's a good one. Personally I don't like really muscular poneys. Plus no offence to some but I keep my body fit so I would expect the same. It would probably be athletic and lean.” Yet again another score for Pinkie, it was going great.
“ Alright next question, which of these would you rather date? A pony who was shy and timid, but really sweet. A pony who is sort of picky and tends to do their own thing, but is quite graceful and pretty. Or a pony who is brash but sweet, and would challenge you every day?”
This question made Twilight pause as she weighed the options, she wouldn't really want to date someone really picky, she chuckled thinking about her dating Rarity. The thought was quickly scrubbed from her mind, she loved Rarity but being with her constantly would drive her up the wall. Next was the shy one, sure she had no problem with shy ponies, but she loved to discuss topics and go to conventions. A shy pony might not like the life style.
“Well, I have to say the third choice. The other two just don't strike a chord with me. It would be fun to date someone who could challenge me.” Pinkie Pie almost shot out of her seat. All the answers pointed in Rainbow Dash's direction.
“Alright just two more, Would it be okay if the pony you dated had a career where they had to leave every once in awhile, or would you prefer them to be around you at all times?”
Twilight didnt hesitate on her response,”That's easy the first, with me being a princess I never know when I need to go somewhere. If the pony I dated had a job that pulled them a way it would only be fair. As for the second, it wouldn't be fair to them if I was always gone with them still here.”
With the only fear Pinkie had being squashed she smiled, “Thats great! So last question it’s a simple yes or no. Would you be okay with dating a close friend?”
Twilight paused, would she be okay with dating a friend? In truth it would give them a deeper connection and if their friendship was strong they wouldn't lose it over something like a bad relationship. “Well Pinkie Pie, I think I would be okay with dating a friend. Who knows it could deepen the friendship.”
Pinkie finally lost her cool as she jumped in the air. Twilight just shook her head chalking the outburst to Pinkie, being Pinkie. When she landed she smiled,”Alright now I just compare your answers to the pony database my friend put in here. It should tell us who your perfect pony is. Alright so we carry the two plus the three and done.”
Twilight started to lean forwards, she was getting real curious herself. Pinkie smirked before speaking,”Your perfect pony, is none other than. Rainbow Dash!” Twilight’s mouth dropped as the name was announced. There had to be a mistake. Sure if she thought about it all the questions pointed toward her friend but it was to crazy.
Pinkie only smiled as her friend fought with her thoughts. It couldn't have gone better, her smile grew as she started to see Twilight grow flustered. Her friends wings slowly raising. Twilight was at war with her emotions, it was all making since. Rainbow was a perfect specimen. She was smart, brave and loyal to the end. Not to mention Twilight had stared at her tight flank once or twice.
Flustered Twilight spoke, “Pinkie this is a prank right? I mean yeah Rainbow Dash is hot, smart and brave. God she would definitely challenge me. I mean it would be so strange, I can see her now giving me that daring smirk begging me to take her!” Pinkie’s victory was a given. She had this in the bag, until a voice spoke directly behind her.
“That's awesome!” Twilight and Pinkie both turned to see their intruder. Twilight’s brain seemed to stop as she took in the pony in front of her. Rainbow Dash stood with a smirk on her face, her wings at full attention, “So egghead, you want me to beg?”

So once again I am sorry Thanks for the ride
