In the events of As Sweet As Lavender, Spike and Rarity finally found themselves ready as the first dragon and pony couple to have a child, one they named Lavender, the first half dragon half pony hybrid or Dracony as Pinkie calls it. After such an unstable childhood even if it did end with everypony accepting her, she found herself unable to cope with the past and soon left the protection of her parents in which she found herself married to Fizzle and set off for the Crystal Empire. 5 years later, Lavender returns home to find all her friends in disarray sulking over something that seems to have taken place between Spike and Rarity leaving her to wonder. What happened to her mom and dad and why is Rarity so upset about it?
