Chapters I open my eyes only to be blinded by a bright white light. I use my hands to shade my eyes as I try to blink away the slight headache the bright light gave me. After a few seconds of blinking my vision starts to return and my headache starts to dissapear.
"Where am I?" I ask.
In reality what came out was something vastly different. What actually came out was a rough cough. I rub my throat, confused at the odd cough that just happened. I try to talk again.
"*cough*" I choke as I try to talk.
A tear rolls down my face as I try to breathe. My throat feels tight and raw. Almost like I had swallowed a bone while eating some fish and it had been lodged inside. I pat my chest as I let out another cough.
After a few seconds I finally manage to get my breathing back under control.
I take a look around me and notice that I'm surrounded by woodland. Trees, Bushes and grass surround me from all sides. The grass is everywhere except underneath me. In fact there is a large burn mark in the shape of a perfect circle around me. I touch the ground. It feels soft, almost pillow like.
'Where the hell am I?'
"Why are we going into the Everfree again? Last time we came here it didn't go so well." Sweetie Belle points out.
"She's right. Last time we came here there was a Manticore." Scootaloo groans.
"Ah know there was. But something here is just.... Ah don't know. It's almost like tha forest is tryna tell me ta go in." Apple Bloom says as a chill travels down through her body.
"I can kinda feel it. Something here feels.... Different?" Sweetie Belle mumbles.
Scootaloo and Apple Bloom both turn to face Sweetie Belle.
"Well.... More then normal I mean." Sweetie Belle sighs.
"I feel it too. Something here.... I don't know.... It feels.... Feels........ Lost? Do you guys feel it too?" Scootaloo asks her voice carrying a hint of worry.
"Mhm." Apple Bloom confirms.
"it also feels. Lonely. I think we should leave. It's not right here." Sweetie Belle says as she takes a step back towards the edge of the forest.
"Ah gotta agree. Ah don't like how this feels." Apple Bloom says as she follows Sweetie Belle in taking a step back.
*Roar*
"Ahhhhhh!" Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom scream as the turn around and run.
Scootaloo is planted to the spot in terror. Sweat drips down from her mane and down her face.
*Roar. Roar. Roar. Roar. Roar. Roar. Cough. Roar. Roar.*
Scootaloo is so terrified that tears well up in her eyes.
A solid minute passes by as she stands frozen in terror, crying. A creature stumbles through the bush a few metres in front of her onto it's face.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!" She screams.
*Cough.*
She clamps her eyes shut as tears flow from her eyes.
*Grunt*
She keeps her eyes closed as her panic starts to make her legs shake.
*Pained breath*
As soons as Scootaloo hears this her panic lowers a little. She can open her eyes enough to see the creature. The creature is laid on it's back clutching at it's chest as it takes in a painful sounding breath. Scootaloo's panic is then replaced with a tinge of worry. Worrying if the creature was okay and if it would hurt her.
"Urm...." She takes a shaky step towards the creature. "A-Are you okay?"
*Cough* The creature holds at it's throat.
"Wait. So that wasn't a roar I heard.... That was you coughing.... You have no idea how much you scared me." Scootaloo chuckles.
*Pained breath*
"I need to find Flutttershy! She'll be able to help you. She's good with animals." Scootaloo points out.
The creature then pushes itself back onto it's long clothing covered hind legs.
"You're like a really tall monkey. With less hair. And less.... tail." Scootaloo points out.
The creature gives a look of contimplation. Then nods it's head.
"So.... Your a monkey?" Scootaloo asks.
The creature shakes it's head.
"Then what are you?"
*Cough* *Grunt* Is the only reply Scootaloo gets from the creature.
"You look like you need a drink. Your throat sounds all rough. Like when I get a cold and I get a soar throat. Oh! That must be the problem! You have a really bad soar throat! I mean.... Not like it's gonna make much of a difference. I don't speak monkey so I don't think we could talk but I can help you get rid of your cough." Scootaloo says with a proud smile.
The tall creature nods it's head as it takes a seat on a dead tree stump.
"I'll be back with a glass of water!" Scootaloo says as she runs away from the creature and towards the exit of the forest.
'It's weird that I can understand it. I must have got really lucky and found something that talks like me..... I wonder what else I can understand. It might be able to help me learn somethings as well.... Like where I am.... What I am.... I mean I'm not the same as her. I feel like I should be.... Shocked or something. Something in me keeps wanting to panic. But why? If I can understand it then I must have always been able to understand them. Right? I mean yeah. Obviously I could. But something at the back of my mind keeps saying that I shouldn't be able to understand it. Wait.... What am I doing.... I'm talking to myself....'
I sit still on the tree stump, watching all of the life of the forest around me as it lives it's normal daily life.
'Gah! Why can't I remember anything?! I can't remember a damn thing! *Sigh*. I guess. Maybe. I'll get some answers after I have a drink.'
A few minutes go by as I sit on the tree stump. Contemplating my current position and trying to remember anything about my past and about myself.
"I'm back!" The orange creature shouts as it bursts through the bushes coming to a stop in front of me with a weird little bag strapped to it's side. "Here!"
It opens the bag and pulls out a bottle filled with water with it's mouth. It then holds out the bottle, the lid of the bottle held firmly between it's teeth.
I reach forward and gently grab the bottle. It gently lets go of the bottle letting me have it. I grab the lid and as fast I can, I open the bottle and start to chug the whole thing. Seconds pass by as I drink the whole bottle without a break. my throat, which felt rough and painful. Now feels smooth and relieved.
I cough as I pat my chest.
"Do you feel any better?" The orange creature asks me.
I nod as I take a second to catch my breath.
"Okay. Well I'm gonna go now. Good luck out there!" The little orange creature happy chirps.
"Wait!" I call out.
The little orange creatures ears flop down to the sides of it's head.
"I need some help. Can you help me?" I ask.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

What do you think to the first chapter? I think it was okay. I like it and I hope you do too!
"Y-You can TALK!? I never knew monkeys could talk! I thought you where like fish and that you just kinda did whatever. But this is sooo coool!" Scootaloo shouts in excitement.
"Am I not meant to talk? I'm confused." The tall creature asks as it scratches it's chin.
"I don't know. I've never actually seen a monkey before, I've only heard about them." Scootaloo explains.
"So..... Do you have any idea where I am?" The tall creature asks.
"Well you're in the Everfree forest. On the outskirts of Ponyville." Scootaloo says with a happy smile.
"Ponyville? I don't remember anything like that.... Well to be honest I can't remember much so I might have known it at some point." The tall creature mumbles.
"So. What's your name? Unless you WANT to be called monkey?" Scootaloo asks.
"My name?.... Name.... I can't remember it right now so let's just go with.... How about.... James? For some reason that name's in my head." The tall creature says with a look of confusion in his eyes.
"James? Sure, I can call you that!" Scootaloo smiles.
"So.... What's your name?" James asks.
"My name's Scootaloo." Scootaloo answers happily.
"That's a nice name you have Scootaloo." James says with a warm smile.
"Hehe. Thanks!" Scootaloo smiles back.
James stands up off of the tree stump and offers his hand out to Scootaloo.
"What?.... Oh! You want to do a hoofshake?" Scootaloo asks as realisation strikes her.
"Yes. A sign of peace. If that's okay with you I wan't to make this kind of.... Peace.... That we have to be official." James says as he patiently holds his hand out for Scootaloo.
Scootaloo grabs his hand and gives it a shake.
"Good. I at least know I can trust you. But I still need help remember a lot of my past. I remember little bits about my past. The important ones being, Breathing, Walking and talking. Some minor ones as well like what a hoofshake means and some useless stuff like that a shark has more then one row of teeth.... If only I knew what a shark was...." James sighs.
"That's okay James! I'll help you with your memory. I don't know much about nerd stuff like how brains work but I'm sure if we work together we could find a way to help you." Scootaloo says, her voice filled with enthusiasm.
"Thanks." James replies with a hearty smile.
"It's good to see you smiling a lot James. Being happy is a great thing and smiling is a way of showing the world that your happy! AAAAAANNND it's a good way to make others happy too!"
"I didn't know that. I didn't even know what I was doing was called smiling. So smiling is a thing I'll do when I'm happy or does me doing it make me happy?" James asks.
"Urm.... Both? I don't really know. I just know that smiling is important and that it should be done as much as possible. Well.... That's what everyone tells me." Scootaloo mumbles.
"What was that last part? The bit you said after 'It should be done as much as possible'." James asks with a hint of worry in his voice.
"Hmm? I didn't say anything. I think you might be imagining things." Scootaloo says with a defensive tone.
"I probably did. To be honest I have no idea if I'm imagining everything or if it's all real." James sighs as his mind is clouded with a feeling of sadness and a hint of loneliness.
"Hey! I'm real! All of this is real." Scootaloo points out.
"Then I guess I'm not imagining it." James mumbles as he looks at his surroundings.
"You're starting to smell abit James. You might want to get a bath. Oh! I know! There's a bath at my house! You can use that." Scootaloo starts to excitedly jump in place.
"I'll take you up on that offer. Thanks Scootaloo."
"Come on then! It's not often someone WANTS to come to my house." Scootaloo shouts as she grabs James' hand in her mouth.
She starts to drag him towards the exit of the forest. It takes a few minutes since she's essentially dragging James behind her. After they get out Scootaloo starts to drag James towards a run down house on the edge of a small town.
"You have a nice little quaint house." James says as the pair come to a stop in front of the run down house.
"Thanks. I know it's not much but It's enough for me to live in." Scootaloo says as she opens the front door.
Inside, the house is very dusty and pretty barren, nearly no decorations or wallpaper in the house. There's only one thing in the middle of the large room in front of them. A single table surrouned by 4 chairs.
"Oh you have a family? Will I be able to meet them?" James asks with a smile plastered on his face.
Scootaloo's ears flop to the sides.
"Urm.... No... They.... They are on um holiday. Sorry." Scootaloo mumbles as she sits at the table and stares at it as a tear starts to build.
"Scootaloo.... Are you okay?" James asks as he rushes to Scootaloo's side.
A tear drips form Scootaloo's face landing in a pile of dust, causing the dust to fly up off of the table and into the air.
"They're not coming back..... Are they?" Scootaloo asks with a sniffle.
"I don't know Scootaloo. i don't know. I don't know anything." James mumbles.
Scootaloo flops her head down onto the table causing a huge amount of dust to rise into the air and slowly fall like snow. Scootaloo starts to cry into the table.
"Why? Why did they go on holiday James? Why couldn't they have stayed home with me...." Scootaloo cries.
James pulls Scootaloo into a hug. He gently strokes her mane as he holds her.
"It's okay Scootaloo. You can let it all out." James whispers as he strokes her mane.

What did you think? I hope you liked it and if you want to ask any questions then please do ask!
I have been sat here now for what must have been an hour now, comforting Scootaloo. I can't help but feel bad for her as she wails into my shirt clad chest.
"J.... James?" Scootaloo asks.
"Yes?"
"W-Will... Will you leave me too?" Scootaloo asks as she tightly grips my shirt in her hooves.
A few thoughts run through my head. 'Is it safe te leave her on her own?', 'Is it safe for ME to be on my own?' and 'Am I safe in this place? She's nice but that doesn't mean that all of them are.' Those are just three of the thoughts that clouded my mind.
"James?" Scootaloo whimpered.
It was in that second that I needed to make a decision. No more thinking. No more makng her suffer through the wait.
"No Scootaloo. I won't leave." I mumble as I pet her head. "We both need each other right now, that much is clear."
Scootaloo then wraps her forelegs around my stomach and meeting in the middle of my back. Her crying started to die down, slowly fading till the only noise that she made was her breath. Her breath felt nice through my wet shirt. The coldness of where her tears had soaked my shirt and the warmth of her breath contrasted in a way that felt nice. I smile as I look down at Scootaloo, her eyes are closed and her brething is light.
'I guess I'd better take her to her.... um.... sleep thing and put her to... hmm... Sleep? For some reason that phraising doesn't seem right but I can't remember what the "sleep thing" is called AND saying "put her to sleep" makes my stomach turn a bit....'
I scoop Scootaloo's body up in my arms. She took up all the room in my arms. She easily went from my waist to the tip of my head and if I remember correctly I'm about 6 foot tall. That wasn't even including her mane and tail.
After I spent a second or so thinking about her size I started to carry her to the staircase. Traversing the staircase was made harder by the fact that I was basically carrying half of myself in front of me. It was difficult and I nearly tripped at one point but I managed to get to the top.
'She weighs nearly as much as me, yet she's half my size.... Crazy.'
I take a few seonds to catch my breath. I then look around to see that I'm now in a short corridor with three doors, one to the left, one to the right and one at the end. I carry her to the door to my left, she wiggles in my arms for a second, I freeze in place letting her settle down. After a few seconds she stops squirming and goes back to being still. I then reach out for the door knob of the door, awkwardly balancing Scootaloo using only one arm. I quickly turn the handle and push the door open. Behind the door is a sad sight. The roof is collapsed in on itself making it impossible to get into the room. I look at the rubble and take a second to take in the sight.
*Sigh*
I couldn't help but sigh. Scootaloo was in a really bad way right now apparently. No parents and barely a roof over her head. I dexterously close the door, somehow managing to balance Scootaloo and still close the door. I then look to the door to the right. The door has big, bulky chains draped across it and in the middle connecting the two and sealing the door off is a large padlock. About as thick as a fist and as large as a head. It was clear that it wasn't meant to be opened. I then turn my attention back to the door at the far end of the corridor. A dark wooden door stands tall. As tall as me.
'This room must have been her parents room. It's the only one available, it must be awful having to sleep in your dead parents bed.' I think to myself.
I carry her to the door and once again balance Scootaloo using one arm and open the door using my other. The door opens with a creak and small flakes of rust start to tumble to the ground from it's hinges forming a small pile of orange and brown metal a few centimeters in size, that would have lasted much longer with proper care. I stare at the pile of rust for a second before looking into the room. The room is clearly water damaged. What would've been white or cream wallpaper is grey with waterdamage and black with mold, there is a large wardrobe next to the wall that looks like it has seen better days. There are scratches along the sides and one of the doors is hanging off of it's hinge, colours can be seen peeking through the gap of the door. Red, Blue, Green. All with small bits of brown and some what appear to be holes in them.
'This is really bad. I'm actually a bit worried to look at the bed....' I think to myself.
I sigh and look towards the bed, a large bed is placed against the back wall. Large enough for two of me to fit in it. The sheets can clearly seen to have been white at one point but are now grey and dirty, the two pillows that rest at the top of the bed are similar in discolouration. Small strands of purple hairs can be seen poking out from random positions on one of the pillows. One thing I notice about the pillow is that the pillow has a stain where the pillow got wet and was never cleaned afterwards.
'She's cried herself to sleep.... I feel really bad for you Scootaloo.... Maybe I can do something to help around here. I might be able to make it more of a cleaner and safer place.... I can't leave her in this state....' I think to myself as a frown starts to form on my face.
I look towards the bed and sigh. I carry Scootaloo towards the bed and balance her using one of my hands like I had done when I had opened the doors, but this time instead of using my spare hand to open a door I used it to push the blanket off of the bed. I then gently place Scotaloo on the bed making sure that her head doesn't touch the pillow. I then pick up the two pillows and place them both under my arms. I then pick up the blanket from the floor and carry it over my shoulder like a sack. I then leave the room and head back down the corridor. Traveling down the stairs was a bit awkward since I had to carry two pillows and a blanket making me too large to walk down it like I normally would. Due to my size I now have to walk down the stairs sideways, which made it more awkward and caused me to travel down them slower. When I finally reached the bottom I started to head towards the room we were in when Scootaloo started crying and place the blanket and both of the pillows in a pile ontop of the table. That's when a thought struck me.
'She's gonna be cold upstairs. I could just put her in my T-Shirt.... But then wouldn't I be cold? I mean I'll be busy cleaning so I guess I'll be fine....'
I then nod my head as I come to a conclusion.
I head back up the stairs and towards the room I put Scootaloo in. I then take my shirt off and start putting it on Scootaloo. It was a bit awkward but it wasn't difficult. I gently led her head through the neck of my T-Shirt, I then make sure the her mane isn't caught on anything before I scooped it up in my hands and then led that through the neck too. I then grab her hooves and lead them through the sleeves of my shirt and then start to pull the shirt down. The shirt was long enough that only her tail was visible. I couldn't give her anything to replace the pillows so I hoped she'd be okay with sleeping without them for one night.
I leave the room again and start to travel back down the corridor and down the stairs. I then pick the blanket and pillows back up in the same way I had the first time and carry them to what I guess is a kitchen.

What did you think? It took a while to write but what are your opinions? If there's anything that I need to work on then please make sure to tell me!
I enter the room and find it to be the kitchen. The room is as dirty as the bedrooms, mold and dust can be seen on a lot of the surfaces.
"I'll need to clean in here as well." I mumble to myself.
The kitchen is rather bare. Two or three cabinets line the wall to my right, a fridge stands against the far wall with an oven and a sink with a cabinet beneath it to my left. The walls used to be a white, but due to water damage and mold it was now a mix of black and grey. The cabinets didn't fare much better, the wooden doors which had been painted cream, now had no colour to them. One of the cabinets even had a door missing revealing half of it's contents or the lack of. The fridge was now rusted from top to bottom, it's previous colour now gone it stood tall in a mixture of browns, coppers and a few greys. The handle was in the same state, being nearly nothing but rust. The oven was surprisingly clean, I had a feeling the inside was the opposite of clean. The sink next to it being the only part of the house I can clearly say stood as clean as the day it was installed, a clean white porcelain stood proudly among the rust and mold like a beacon of tidyness.
I smile to myself as I walk towards the sink, I then place the blanket on top of the over making sure not to disturb any of the dials on the front. I then place one of the pillows on top of the blanket and the other one inside of the sink, slid between tap and the wall was a thick brush, probably used to clean dishes. I pick the pillow out of the sink and hold it in my hand as I turn the tap on. The water comes out crisp and fresh. I then grab the brush from behind the tap and dampen it under the tap, I then start to scrub at the pillow with the brush. Every so often I dampen the bursh again and continue scrubbing. Each pillow took me 5 minutes each. I didn't mind of course but I knew the blanket would take quite a bit longer. Before starting on the blanket I squeeze as much of the water out of the pillows into the sink to dry them as best to my ability. I then pick up one corner of the blanket and start work scrubbing, once again taking small breaks in the scrubbing to dampen the brush.
All together it took me just over an hour of scrubbing, the fingers on both hands where scrubbed raw and hurt like hell, but I managed to get it all cleaned to the point that I felt it was okay for Scootaloo to sleep with. I smile down at the now cleaner pillows and blanket and start readying them for the journey back to Scootaloo's bedroom. I place both of the pillows on my right shoulder and carry the blanket over my left. With them in position I left the kitchen and headed up the stairs towards where Scootaloo was sleeping. I could see Scootaloo peacefully sleeping through the open door. She looked adorable. A smile creeps onto my face at the adorable sight of Scootaloo sleeping and every few seconds one of her legs would kick like a dogs would when it would dream. I head into the room and place the pillows back where they where on the bed. I then, as gently as possible, remove my shirt from Scootaloo. As soon as I do this her face turns into a frown and she starts to sniff and move her head. She lets out a small yip and starts to hecticly flail her legs around. I then slowly and gently place the blanket on top of her. She doesn't stop yipping and flailing her legs.
'She must be having a nightmare.... Wait a minute, I think my shirt was keeping her calm. I mean it was only after I moved it away from her that she started to freak out. I guess I don't mind giving it back to her.' I think to myself as I curl the shirt into a ball.
I then slide the balled up shirt underneath the blanket and towards Scootaloo who starts to flail faster as the shirt gets closer. As soon as it touches her she clamps onto it and sniffs it, she then sighs and mumbles something too quiet for me to hear. Her hectic flailing and yipping had stopped the instant she grabbed onto my shirt.
'I guess without my shirt she probably panicked in her sleep about me leaving. She must have a huge anxiety problem about being left on her own. After losing her parents like that I'm not surprised.... I have to make sure that she isn't alone. I did say that I was gonna stay with her.... But can I promise something like that? I don't know the future.' I think to myself as I look at Scootaloo who had now taken to snuggling the shirt. 'I have to at least try.'
I then lift Scootaloo up and place her head onto one of the pillows. I smile then slide the blanket over her body, leaving her head uncovered. I smile then leave the room, leaving Scootaloo to sleep in peace. I close the bedroom door as carefully as possible, making sure not to wake her up. I sigh in relief when the door closes without making a noise. I look down the corridor towards the stairs.
'I guess I'll sleep at the table or something.' I think to myself.
I then take my time walking down the corridor, examing the walls and all of the dirt that had collected on them.
'Everything is coated in either mold, water damage or rust.... It's a shame really. This house must've looked beautiful.' I think to myself with a shake of my head.
I then head down the stairs and stop at the table in the living room. I take a second to look at it before deciding that the chair at the end of the table facing the stairs looked the most comfortable. I then take a seat and let my mind wander for a few seconds.
'It seems I'm not the only one who's in a bit of trouble right now. It's gonna be tough but hopefully both of our problems can be fixed.' I think to myself with a sigh.
I then put my elbows on the table and rest my arms in a cross with my hands facing towards my chest. With one last look around the room I rest my head on top of my arms and close me eyes. Finally getting some rest after a long day of confusion and cleaning.

What did you think? This story is going to be a slow one as you can tell by how it's going so far. So buckle up! It's gonna be a long ride.
"J-James?" A voice I recognise asks as it nudges me.
I clinch my eyes shut for a second before opening them again, my vision is blurry. I blink a few times to get my vision back to normal. In front of me stands Scootaloo with a sad face.
"Scootaloo what's wrong?" I yawn.
"How could you?.... The last thing I had to remember my parents.... You.... Get out. I don't want to see you James." Scootaloo sniffles.
"The last thing? The blanket and pillows? I cleaned them because I didn't want you to sleep in a dirty bed." I groan as I rub at my still tired eyes.
Scootaloo climbs on top of the table and stares into my eyes.
"I said get out James. I don't want you near me.... Not anymore." Scootaloo growls.
"Okay.... Okay.... I'll leave." I mumble as I stand from the chair and walk towards the door.
I stand still in front of the door with my handing hovering just over the handle. I look back to see an angry Scootaloo still glaring at me.
"I SAID LEAVE!" Scootaloo shouts as a tear falls from her cheek onto the table where my arms where.
I take a deep breath and grab the handle pushing it down and opening the door. I take one last look behind me, then take my first step out of the house into the cold morning air. My entire body feels cold due to me not having my shirt, the hairs on my body all stood on their ends in the cold breeze. But I didn't want to ask Scootaloo for it back. I felt too bad after doing something that must be wrong.
'Is it normal to have dirty stuff of your parents if they've died? It must be.... Especially with how she acted.... I wish I could remember.... If I'd remembered something like that then.... Then just maybe this wouldn't have happened. I messed up pretty bad.' I think to myself with a sigh.
My stomach twists and turns at the thought of me doing something that would offend someone. It wasn't my intention to offend her, I only wanted to make sure she was safe.
'I thought I was helping.... Living in a dirty house is bad.... I rememeber that much at least' I sigh. 'Maybe I should just leave. Go somewhere.... And not upset anyone....'
A tear falls from my face and onto the ground. I hold my hand out and a few seconds later another falls, landing in the palm of my hand. I stare into the tear and see my own reflection. A face of regret stares back. I ball my hand up and squeeze the teardrop in my hand hoping that if I did this that all of this would go away. It didn't, instead all I got was a churning feeling in my stomach as another tear drops from my face and splashes on the back of my fist. I look back towards the forest where I found Scootaloo.
"Maybe I should just go back to the forest.... And stay out of everyone's way...." I mumble to myself.
I don't know why I'm crying and give up on questioning it. It might have something to do with my memories, but I won't know. I'll probably never know. I groan as I unclench my fist. I start to walk towards the forest, the sound of a door being slammed shut rings in my ears.
'I really have done something wrong....'
The sky above me greys. I look up and see dark clouds start to coat the sky. I can't stop staring at the grey that's now as far as the eye can see. A few droplets of water start to land on my face. I look away from the clouds and stare at the ground as it starts to rain. I don't want to move, or should I say, I can't move. My body is frozen in place on the outskirts of the forest. My uncovered body is now even colder as the rain falls onto my body. I start to shiver in the freezing cold rain. My mind is blank and so is my vision. The cold rains splashing against my back being the only thing I can feel. I blink to try to bring back my vision, but it doesn't come back. I shudder and finally everything comes back into focus. My vision, my legs. All of it works again. I take a shakey step forwards towards the forest. I can feel the cold leaves of bushes brushing against my bare stomach, painting long lines of water against my already wet body. I take a deep breath and push my way through the heavy foliage. A few bushes in and I run into a thorn bush. I stare at the bush for a few seconds.
'I need to get away.... I need to be alone.' Is the only thought that comes to my hazy mind.
I push my way through the bush. The many thorns scratching and scraping against my skin, some even penetrating the skin, drawing blood. The leaves on the bush drag across my body drawing long strokes of blood on my uncovered body. The rain still fell on me the whole time through the gaps in the canopy above. I look around me and see nothing but plant life for what seemed like miles.
'I had one chance to find some memories about myself.... And I blew it.... She could've helped me remember something. Anything.... If only I wasn't an idiot.'
My memory starts to get worse. Every step I take I immediately forget I took it. In my mind I was still at the entrance to the forest. I kept wandering deeper into the forest. Each step becoming harder to take due to the slipperiness of the forest floor. I take a second to look up to the canopy above.
'Maybe I should go up there.... I am a monkey after all....'
I dig my fingers into the bark of the nearest tree and start to climb. The wetness and the pain traveling through my fingers made climbing difficult. But eventually I made it. I sat on a branch with my feet dangling over the side. I take a deep breath and think about my mistakes and try to remember anything about my past. Anything at all. But nothing comes up. I start to feel my blood boil in anger.
'Why can't I remember anything? I can't even remember my own name.... Or can I? Is James my name or something I made up on the spot?... I want to remember.' I think to myself as I begin to cry. 'I just want to remember something.... anything.'
A bigger yellow version of Scootaloo slowly flies past me. The main differences are the size of the new creature and the fact that it's yellow with a pink mane and tail.
"You shouldn't be out here in the rain." I say to it.
The yellow creature then turns towards me.
"W-What are you?" The creature whispers.
The creature is clearly scared. It's shaking and looks like it's on the verge of tears.
"I'm a monkey.... Or.... Well I think I'm a monkey. But I don't look like any of the others." I explain.
"A monkey? I love monkeys." The yellow creature giggles.
The yellow creature then look at my face.
"A-Are you okay? You l-look like you've been crying." The yellow creature asks.
"If I'm honest. No. I'm not alright, but my story is too confusing for even me to understand so I don't think you'd understand either." I say with a sigh.
"Well my name's Fl-Fluttershy. How about you come with me and I can get you out of this rain." Fluttershy offers.
"I'm going to have to decline Fluttershy.... I've.... I've done something terrible and I need to be away for a while. To be honest you're not the first creature like you that I've talked to. The last one.... Well.... It didn't go too well." I mumble.
"W-What did you do? I-If you don't mind me asking that is." Fluttershy asks with a hint of worry in her voice.
"Well...." I start to explain.
Author's Note
What did you think? Any comments about what you liked and what I should improve on would be a great help as it'll help me understand what I do well and what I need to improve on.
"S-Scootaloo did that? I didn't know she lost her parents. I t-thought her parents where always on trips." Fluttershy mumbles in thought.
"Is it normal to be that angry after what I did?" I ask.
"It depends. Different ponies handle s-stuff differently." Fluttershy explains.
"I see." I mumble.
I then start to climb down the tree and back to the forest floor. The branches of the tree creak as I carefully climb down them.
"So are you going t-to be joining me?" Fluttershy asks with a smile.
I shake my head.
"No. I need some time to think so I'm just going to wander around for a bit." I answer.
"Oh, okay." Fluttershy mumbles with slight disapointment.
"Thanks for the offer though Fluttershy. I'll see you around." I say with a smile.
She smiles back then continues on her journey through the forest.
I look towards a dark side of the forest. The canopy above must be blocking out nearly all of the sun because it's as dark as night in the dark side of the forest. I walk towards the darkened part of the forest, pushing my way through thick bushes and tall grasses. In the forest in front of me stands me. It looks like me but it can't be. I'm here. The copy of me then smiles and pulls something out of it's pocket. It then starts to walk towards me. I take a step back in a panic as the copy of me continues to close in on me. My back then colides with a tree, stopping me in my tracks. The copy of my stops a few steps in front of me. It then holds out the thing it picked out of it's pocket.
"A piece of paper?" I ask nervously.
It then nods and continues to hold the peice of paper in front of me.
I grab the piece of paper and the copy of me starts to walk closer to me again. I hold my hands out to stop the copy but it just walks through my hands. It then continues to walk through me and then through the tree behind me. I turn around and look behind the tree to see the copy of me had dissapeared. I look down at the crumpled peice of paper in my hand. For a few seconds I can't stop staring at it. With shaky hands I then slowly open the piece of paper. Written on the paper is a single word written in black ink.
NAME
Is written on the piece of paper. I touch the lettering. Immediately afterwards my head starts to throb. I clutch at my head and clamp my eyes closed as the pain becomes unbareable. I grab fistfulls of my hair and grit my teeth.
"Daniel Isle." I growl through grinding teeth.
As soon as I growl the name my headache dissapears.
'I remember now! My name's Daniel! It wasn't James.... Then.... Who's James?... Ah who cares! I can remember my name now! Hahahahaha!" I laugh as tears of joy stream down my face.
I fall to my knees and kiss the piece of paper. I then place it into my pocket and just enjoy the feeling of remembering my name.
"Daniel Isle." I mumble to myself.
I keep repeating my name over and over again in happiness at finally being able to remember something about myself. After repeting myself a few more times I then stand back up and stop repeating myself.
"I can finally remember my name.... I can't leave here. What if there's more memories here? I can't leave. EVER." I shout in excitement.
I then immediately start walking through the forest again. No specific direction just where ever my legs took me. Down dirt paths, through bushes and even into a cave at one point, but I couldn't find another memory anywhere.
"I need to keep going. I can't afford to stop." I groan as I climb up a rock face.
"James!" A voice below me shouts.
"Scootaloo?!" I shout back.
"I'm sorry James! Please come back!" Scootaloo shouts up at me.
"I can't Scootaloo! My memories are here! I even learnt my real name!" I shout back.
"Please?" She doesn't shout it but says it just loud enough for me to hear it.
I stop my climb. Thoughts start to flow through my mind at an unbelievable pace.
'I need to keep searching!' 'Never stop searching!' 'She needs me right now....'
That last one repeated itself in my head. It was right. She did need me. I can't leave her alone, not in the state she's in.
"I.... But.... Okay.... I'll come back...." I mumble.
I start to climb back down, it took me a few seconds to climb to the height I was at and it took a minute for me to climb down.
"Thank you...." Scootaloo sniffles.
"It's.... Okay...." I say with a smile.
"You still need to take that bath." Scootaloo giggles as she wipes a tear away.
"Yeah.... I must still stink." I say with a smirk.
"I'm sorry for how I behaved.... I.... I was just...." She mumbled.
"It's okay. I did it without asking so of course you'd be upset." I say with a smile as I ruffle up her mane.
She giggles and smiles up at me.
"I guess I'd better tell you a little secret about me then. The reason why I was so angry.... Besides what I said I was angry about. I think you deserve to know...." She sighs.
"Can we redo our introductions and hoofshake? Now that I know my real name, I think it would be nice to redo it." I ask.
"Sure." Scootaloo says with a quick nod. "My name's Scootaloo and I'm a pegasus."
"My name is Daniel Isle and I'm a monkey.... Or something close to one at least." I say as I hold my hand out.
She grabs my hand and gives me a hearty hoofshake.
"Shall we get going then?" Scootaloo asks with a giant smile on her face.
"Of course." I answer.
I look ahead of me and see the copy of me that gave me the piece of paper. It smiled and gave a nod of it's head. It looked to it's right and smiled. It then starts to walk to it's right, it slowly fades out of excistence as it walks. I smile as I watch the copy fade away. I then tap the pocket with the piece of paper in it and smile.
Author's Note
What do you think? Once again tell me what you enjoyed and what I need to work on. It'll help me with this story if I know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing right.
"So Daniel. I have a question for you." Scootaloo says out of the blue.
"Ask away." I reply.
She looks up at me with a worried look on her face.
"Why did you say your name was James when it wasn't? D-Don't you trust me?" Scootaloo asks in a depressed tone.
"Of course I trust you. I said my name was James because whenever I tried to remember my name, James would pop up. I had no idea what my name was when we first met, but now I do so I told you my real name." I answer.
She looks down at the ground with a smile.
"I know I said that I'd tell you when we got back to my house but.... Do you want to know my secret now?" Scootaloo asks.
I look at Scootaloo and see that she has a look of worry plastered on her face.
"Sure. I'd like to know more about you." I answer with a smile.
She smiles back before taking a deep breath.
"Well.... I have what the doctors call.... Well.... It's called a personality disorder.... Ever since I was young I was found to be.... Different.... Too different for anyone to handle.... Other than my parents who did all they could to help me." She explains with a sniffle. "I was bullied a lot and ended up threatening the people I cared about. I regret everything bad I did to my parents.... I wish I hadn't been such a problem."
"I don't know much Scootaloo, I barely know anything about myself, but I do know one thing. Your not too different for me." I say as I pet her head.
She looks up to me, her eyes filled with tears. She wipes away her tears then gives me a smile. A truly genuine smile. I can't help but smile back.
"When we get back, do you want me to finish tidying up? Or would you like me to leave everything?" I ask.
She looks to the ground for a second before answering.
"As much as I want to be able to live in the house the way it was when my parents left. I do think maybe.... I shouldn't be living in the past, I should be looking towards the future." Scootaloo says with a sigh.
"That's the right kind of attitude.... I think." I mumble the last part.
Scootaloo then starts to growl at the ground.
"How would YOU know? You don't know anything about yourself! Don't try to act like you understand. Monkey freak." Scootaloo growls at me.
I couldn't help but look down at the ground after she growled at me.
"I mean.... I... I know I don't know much.... I just want to be helpful. That's all." I mumble as a wave of sadness rushes over me.
Scootaloo then looks at me in a face of pure horror.
"I... I'm so sorry.... I.... Please don't hate me.... I'm sorry." She begs as tears start to flow from her eyes.
"I'm not gonna lie Scootaloo.... That made me feel really bad.... I feel.... A bit worthless.... Was that your personality disorder talking?" I ask as I look back up at her.
"Yes.... Please.... Stay with me Daniel.... I don't want to be alone again." Scootaloo says through sobs.
"I'll stay with you Scootaloo.... You've been through a lot so I would feel bad leaving you.... Just.... Please try not to be too mean to me. I'm still learning about myself so I don't know much yet. Any past emotional strength I had might be gone." I say as I kneel down and pull Scootaloo into a hug.
She hugs me back, her tears start to slide down my chest to the ground.
"Wait a minute.... Scootaloo I left my shirt at your house right?" I ask.
"Yeah. It's in my bedroom still, why?" Scootaloo asks back.
"It's getting colder and colder out here and I'd like it back so I don't have to be half naked." I point out.
"Sure. I'll give it back to you when we get back." Scootaloo says with a sniffle.
She then wipes her tears away and we continue our journey back.
It took us about 5 minutes of walking through bushes, over logs and through some tall grass but we did arrive back at Scootaloo's house. Scootaloo jogged ahead and opened the door, I followed shortly behind.
"I'm so happy you came back. It means a lot to me." Scootaloo says with a smile.
"It's okay. Now then, how about you get me my shirt while I start work on cleaning the living room." I say.
"Sure. I'll be right back then." Scootaloo says as she runs towards the stairs.
I turn towards the table and see a thick layer of dust had remained after Scootaloo jumped onto the table. I sigh as I look around the room for something that I could either dust or wipe the table with. I don't see anything so decide that I should go into the kitchen to find something. As soon as I enter the kitchen I see a cloth on top of the kitchen sink. I walk to the sink, grab the cloth, dampen it and then head back into the living room. Scootaloo is stood at the bottom of the stairs with my shirt in her mouth. I walk up to her.
"Thanks for getting my shirt for me." I say as I hold my hand out.
"A-Actually. I was hoping I could keep it. It feels really soft." Scootaloo says with a blank expression.
"Urm... Sure? I guess you can keep it. I'll just have to find a way to get a new one I guess." I answer.
"Thanks!" Scootaloo shouts in excitement as a smile appears on her face.
I head back to the table and start with the cleaning. The water helps to pick up the dust on the table, making it easier to clean and making it take less time then it would've without the cloth being damp. It took me a few minutes to wipe up the dust. As I finish I can hear muffled hoofsteps coming from the stairs. I turn around and see Scootaloo at the bottom of the stairs wearing my shirt which was a bland white T-Shirt and on her legs are what must be a purple equivelant of knee high socks to her.
"I feel warm everywhere now!" She giggles.
"You look really cute." I say with a smile.
Scootaloo then immediately starts blushing and nervously kicks at the ground with her front, right hoof.
"T-Thanks." She nervously giggles.
Author's Note
Once again the same as the last chapter. " What do you think? Once again tell me what you enjoyed and what I need to work on. It'll help me with this story if I know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing right. "
Scootlaoo takes a step towards me, not paying attention to her hooves. She takes a step forward and trips over a bit of one of her socks that's started to slide off of her front left leg. She lands straight on her face with a small thud. She looks up at me with a look of embarassment.
"I-I...." She mumbles as she shivers.
"It's okay. We all trip over at some point." I say with a smile.
She smiles back at me before standing back up.
"I really like your shirt. It's really warm and soft." Scootaloo says with a giggle.
"I'm glad you like it. Don't expect to get any more shirts from me though, I only had one." I say with a chuckle as I start to walk towards Scootaloo.
I then kneel down and pet her on the head. She blushes and giggles.
"What did you want to do for the remainder of today?" I ask.
"I kinda just wanna.... cuddle... If that's okay?" She answers with a blush.
"Sure." I say as I ruffle her hair.
She smiles back up at me and holds out her front left leg. I grab the cuff of her sock and pull the sock back on for her. She giggles then smiles at me.
"Follow me!" Scootaloo shouts in excitement.
She then runs towards the stairs. I jog behind her, trying to keep pace. She stops at the door to the left of the corridor at the top of the stairs.
"In here." She smiles.
I nod my head as she opens the door. The room is still blocked off by a colapsed roof.
"What are we doing here?" I ask.
"This is my bedroom.... My Mom used to cuddle me when I was sad in here. I just.... I wanted to be cuddled here.... Even if it's the last time. I'm sorry for being selfish, but it's just.... Just something I want to feel one last time." She explains.
"I understand." I reply with a nod.
She walks into the room, making her way through the gaps in the rubble with ease. I follow shortly behind having to crawl through the rubble, the odd bit of wood giving me a small splinter. I exit the rubble and take a second to check my surroundings.
The room must have been purple at some point as there are small bits of purple wallpaper on the walls still. The floor must not have been carpeted and had just been wood since no remains of a carpet can be seen. The roof, what's left of it, used to be a plain white before it collapsed based on the white wood behind me in the pile of rubble. At the back of the room stands a solitary bed. Dirty, orange painted wood holds a dusty matress on top of it. A dusty, purple blanket rests beneath a single dusty orange pillow. I walk towards the bed and pick up the pillow.
"Do you mind if I get the dust off of the blanket and pillow first? I think cuddling near this much dust is bad." I ask as I hold the pillow in my hands.
"Sure. Like you said, it could be bad for us." Scootaloo answers with a nod.
I start to pat the pillow causing dust to rise from the pillow and into the air, causing me and Scootaloo to let out a cough each.
"Well done *cough* you celestia damn idiot! You *cough* stupid, stupid freak!" Scootaloo growls through coughs.
I look at the pillow and then back to Scootaloo. A tightness builds in my throat. I look back at the pillow before putting back onto the bed.
"I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean it!" Scootaloo coughs out in a panic.
"I-It's okay. I mean.... You did warn me.... It's not like you can control it either so.... It's okay." I mumble.
"I... I didn't mean to upset you Daniel, honest! I-I can't control myself." Scootaloo murmurs the last part.
"I already said it's okay. Let me just get rid of the dust on the blanket then we can cuddle okay?" I ask with a smile.
Scootaloo looks at me and nods her head.
I pick up the blankets by the top corners.
"Cover your mouth so you don't cough." I say with a nod.
Scootaloo puts a sock covered hoof over her mouth and nods at me.
'She looks absolutely adorable in that outfit.' I think to myself as I start to shake the blanket.
The dust from the blanket rises into the air, and slowly fall to the ground like small bits of grey snow. I look at Scootaloo and see her still covering her mouth, she's fairing better then before since she isn't coughing anymore. I cough a few times before pulling the blanket back enough for the two of us to fit in. I look at Scootaloo and nod towards the bed.
She moves her hoof away from her mouth and walks towards the bed. She climbs in and squeezes against the wall, leaving enough room for me to fit in. I slide in next to her and lay on my back. Scootaloo then rolls on top of me and rests her hindlegs between my legs and wraps her forelegs around my stomach. She then places her head under my jaw with her nose pressed against my neck. I wrap my arms around her as well as we cuddle in her small bed.
"Am I comfy?" I ask with a grin.
"Yeah. I really like it." Scootaloo answers with a yawn.
"Tired already?" I ask with a chuckle.
She nods her head as she buries face into my neck. Her warm breath washes across my neck as she lightly breathes. I can't help but gently pet her head as she slowly falls asleep on top of me. After a few seconds her breathing becomes more relaxed as she falls asleep.
'She really is the cutest thing ever.' I think to myself as I let myself slowly follow her into a light sleep.

Now I know what you're thinking. "Stop saying this at the end of your chapters!" It truly helps me understand what you're enjoying and what I'm doing correctly, so once again. "What do you think? The Second Scrap (Warning, this may upset some readers.)
I slowly open my eyes with a yawn. I rub at my eyes to help wake myself up.
"What time is it?" I ask with a groan.
I wait a few seconds for a reply but one never comes. I roll out of the bed and land on my feet with a thud. I look around the room and notice Scotaloo isn't here. I stretch and decide to check downstairs. I groggily shuffle through the rubble, down the corridor and then down the stairs. I look at the table in the living room in front of me and see Scootaloo and two other creatures that look a little bit like her but with different colours, one of them has a large pink bow on their head.
"Guys, This is Daniel. He's my roommate! He's also a new friend of mine." Scootaloo introduces me to the creatures at the table.
"He's.... Odd looking. Is he some sort of monkey?" A squeaky voice asks.
"He does kinda look like ah monkey." A high pitched southern voice agrees.
I stretch again and let out a yawn.
"He's what was making those noises when we where in the Everfree, remember the roaring?" Scootaloo asks.
"Yeah?" The squeaky voice asks.
"That was him. He was coughing, not roaring. Although it sure was scary when he was coughing." Scootaloo says with an awkward laugh.
"So, um. Scootaloo. Who are your friends?" I ask.
The two creatures look at eachother with a look of shock.
"This is Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. My best friends." Scootaloo smiles as she introduces them.
"Nice to meet you Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. My name's Daniel Isle." I say with a smile.
"Since when could monkeys talk?" Sweetie Belle asks with a confused look on her face.
"Ah don't quite know. They might've always been able to talk, we've just never actually seen one." Apple Bloom says with a look of contemplation.
"Anyway. Are you ready to hear what I had planned for today?" Scootaloo asks with an excited grin.
"What's that?" Her two friends both ask.
"We show Daniel here around the town. We can be Cutie Mark Tour Guides!" Scootaloo shouts in excitement.
"Yay! Cutie Mark Tour Guides!" Her friends shout.
I shake my head.
"Can I get a shower now? I still smell." I point out.
"Oh yeah! I forgot!" Scootaloo says with a giggle.
"Where's the shower?" I ask.
"It's in the bathroom over here." She says as she point to a corner of the room with a door in it. I head towards the door and open it.
Inside are dirty white tiles on the walls with black mold between the cracks. The ground is wooden, nothing covering, just plain unpainted wood. To my left is a clean shower, to my right is a clean sink with a purple toothbursh resting on it. I hear the front door open and close a few seconds after.
'They must've left to plan out a route.' I think to myself.
I start to get undressed, starting with my shoes and socks, placing them next to each other on the floor next to the door. I stop and check if there is a towel nearby, luckily for me, there was a white towel hanging from the back of the door. I continue getting undressed. I unbutton my jeans and slide them down my legs, I then take off my boxers and place them and the jeans in a pile on top of my shoes and socks. I step into the shower and turn it on. Cold water splashes against my body. I sigh then look to my right out of the shower and back out into the bathroom. In the middle of the bathroom stands the copy of me that had the scrap of paper that reminded me of my name. This time though instead of a smile, he has tears slowly dripping from his eyes. He steps towards me and holds out a piece of paper. I grab it excited to learn what I'll be remembering again. I open it with shaky hands.
DEPRESSION.
The copy looks at me and shakes it's head as a tear falls from his cheek and hits the ground. My vision turns black for a second.
I'm stood in a bedroom of some sorts. I look around me to try to get an understanding of where I am. I try to move my arms only to realise I'm tied to something. I look behind me to see that I'm tied to a bedpost. My bedpost. I look in front of me and see a man half naked with a gagged, crying and naked woman laying on her stomach.
"LINDA!" I try to shout but all that comes out is a muffled shout.
He then looks at me, then at the woman. I can see him smile at her. He grabs her by the hips and lifts her up so that she's on her hands and knees.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!" I shout with all my lungs but once again all that comes out is a muffled noise.
He chuckles as he grabs his penis and lines it up with the womans vagina. The woman starts to scream and starts to claw at the ground. Anything she can do to get away from him. But he doesn't stop. He rams his dick into her vagina. She screams louder. Tears start to flow from her eyes as she kicks and claws at anything she can grab. I clinch my eyes shut as tears start to fall from my eyes. He continues to rape her. No matter how much she screamed he never stopped. I tried my hardest to help, my wrists turning red and raw from being rubbed against rope as I tried to escape. The man starts to grunt more and more as the rape goes on. After what felt like hours he starts to thrust faster. He starts to grin. He looks at me and stares into my eyes. With one last thrust he cums inside of the woman. My wife. I try harder then before to break free. Anything I can do to get to him and make him pay. In the end all I do is break my wrists as I try to pull them through the rope.
"Daddy? Mommy?" The voice of a little girl asks from the doorway. "Who are you? What are you doing to Mommy?"
The man looks at me and chuckles. He pulls a gun out. In that instant time slowed down for me. He aimed the gun at the little girls head. My little girls head. My three year old girls head. I scream into the gag but all it does is make him laugh.
*BANG*
I close my eyes and scream into the gag. Over and over again until I can't scream anymore.
*BANG*
I can't stop screaming. It's starting to hurt to make any noise but I continue screaming anyway. I never stop trying to break free of the rope.
"The name's James. Don't forget it. Just to make sure you won't I'll give you a little gift." The mans voice says with a snicker.
I open my eyes and see him pick up the body of my three year old daughter up.
"Don't you dare." I tried to cry.
He grins at me, before starting to undress her.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!" I try to scream as spit fills my mouth.
He lines his penis up with her vagina. I close my eyes. I can't stand to watch. He was there for another hour. Just. Just raping and killing them both. I couldn't do a thing. I couldn't even scream. I. Could. Do. Nothing.
I open my eyes and I'm back in the shower at Scootaloo's house. Tears start to flow from my eyes and my legs start to feel weak. I fall to my knees with a loud thud. I can't help but cry. I even start to wail.
"Why?" I wail into the ceiling above me.
Author's Note
This chapter is dark I know but not everything in this story is happy. Sometimes people's lives can be filled with horrific moments in their life. Once again as the past chapters have said " What do you think? Once again tell me what you enjoyed and what I need to work on. It'll help me with this story if I know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong."
The Tour (Warning. May upset some readers.)
After a few minutes I stand back up and take a deep breath. I wipe the tears from my eyes and start to clean myself up. After cleaning myself I put my clothes back on.
'I need to get some new clothes.' I think to myself with a depressed sigh.
I step out of the bathroom and head towards the front door, opening it. The door emits a high pitched creak as I open it. I step outside in to the sunlight. I cover my eyes as it blinds me for a second. I blink away the pain and stop covering my eyes. I take a moment to look around me. In front of me are Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
"Are you ready Daniel?" Scootaloo asks with a smile.
"Yeah. So where are we heading to today?" I ask.
"Ponyville. The town right next to my house." Scootaloo answers as she points to the town to my left.
"Lead the way." I say with a smile.
Scootaloo nods and leads me into the town.
"This is what the houses look like in Ponyville. They mostly look the same apart from a few that are also shops and stuff like that." Scootaloo says as she points to a house.
"Okay. So how many houses are there here?" I ask.
"I don't know. Sweetie? Apple Bloom?" Scootaloo asks with a hint of hope.
"No idea." They both reply.
"None of us know." Scootaloo sighs.
"It's fine. So what else is there here?" I ask with a smile.
"There's a bakery. It's run by some nice ponies called Mister and Misses Cake." Scootaloo explains. "I can take you there right now if you want."
"Sure. I would love to see a.... Bakery? I'm not sure what one is but It'll be interesting to learn about it." I say with a shrug.
"You don't know what a bakery is?" Sweetie Belle asks.
"He's lost most of his memory so he can't remember a lot of things. At one point he didn't know his name, he said to call him James. No idea why James came to his head." Scootaloo says with a confused look.
I grind my teeth together just at the mention of the name James.
"Are ya okay Daniel? Ya look really angry?" Apple Bloom asks.
I snap out of my anger and smile.
"Yeah I'm fine. It's nothing worth getting worried over." I assure her.
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"One hundred percent." I answer.
"Well if ya say so." Apple Bloom shrugs.
"Anyway. We're gonna go to the bakery next! They might even give us some free cupcakes or something because Daniel's new to Ponyville." Scootaloo says with a giant excited smile.
"That's true.... Or they could chase us out of the town. I guess it depends on how everyone's feeling today." Sweetie Belle points out.
"That's true." Scootaloo mumbles.
"Is that Discord over there?" Apple Bloom asks.
"It is. We should probably introduce him to Daniel. Just a warning Daniel, Discord loves causing trouble." Scootaloo warns.
"Causes trouble, got it." I repeat.
"Okay then, let's go say hi and introduce you." Scootaloo says as she starts to walk over to the weird creature a few metres in front of us. "Discord!"
"Hmm?" Discord hums as he turns towards us. "Well, well, well. The cutie mark crusader, what can I do for you today?"
"We want to introduce you to our new friend." Scootaloo says as she points towards me.
"Daniel Isle. Well. I never expected to see YOU here. Now that does throw a bit of a spanner in the works, but this is gonna be a FUN spanner." He says with a grin.
"Urm. How do you know my name? I haven't even been introduced yet." I ask with a look of worry.
"Where are my manners. I'll let you introduce yourself, then I'll introduce myself." Discord says with a well mannered tone.
"Okay.... My name's Daniel Isle. I'm a monkey or something like that." I say as I hold my hand out for a handshake.
He stares at my hand for a second before a grin spreads across his face.
"A pleasure to meet you again Daniel. Well. My name is Discord, I am the spirit of disharmony, yadda, yadda, yadda. I also have another name. One a lot more interesting." Discord says with a large toothy grin.
"What's the other name?" I ask as a look of worry creeps across my face.
"My other name is. James." Discord says as a snake tongue slides out from between his teeth.
My vision blurs after hearing that name. I can hear a deep laugh coming from Discord.
"Do you remember me? Your daughter felt tight by the way, your wife was a bit loose but she was used when she was young so I can't hold that against her." Discord chuckles.
"I'll kill you." I growl as I swing my fist at Discord.
He dissapears then appears behing me.
"Now, now, Daniel. Violence here isn't welcome. You don't even wanna hear my evil master plan? Jeez, James Bond had the manners to listen, why can't you?" Discord asks with a laugh.
"Because I don't care about your reason. I'm gonna kill you so it doesn't matter." I say as I swing my elbow at him.
He ducks beneath it avoiding my attack without any real effort.
"I'm gonna tell you anyway so sit down and shut up." Discord says with a bored tone.
Something knocks me onto my butt and I stick to the ground beneath me. I try to stand up but I can't get off of the ground.
"Now then. I love a bit of choas. This world, that world, your world. All of them are my targets. I saw how much your family meant to you and so I caused a bit of chaos in your life. Well... A bit is an understatement. One of my proudest works to be honest. I'd been building up those loads that I left in your family for about three hundred years. So I made sure they where nice and full." He laughs.
"Fuck you!" I growl.
"Ooooo. Spicy. Well, I'll be taking my leave. I hope to see you around Daniel. Cutie Mark Crusaders, I bid you adew." Discord says with a bow.
"Daniel. Who's James?" Scootaloo asks with a look of fear.
"I'll explain in a bit. I... I need some time alone right now." I explain as I rest my head in my hands.
"Are you okay?" Scootaloo asks.
"No." I answer.
Author's Note
James. A terrible deed done for a terrible reason. "What do you think? Once again tell me what you enjoyed and what I need to work on. It'll help me with this story if I know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong." I'm sorry if the phrasing of somethings may upset you.
I'm walking down a street surrounded by houses. In front of me I see a strange building that looks like a carousel. I take a second to catch my breath and just stare at the weird looking building.
"AHHHH! A MONSTER!" A voice screams to my right.
I look to my right and see a bigger version of Scootaloo this time they where pink, everything was pink except it's eyes. The blue of it's eyes stood out from the surrounding pink. It's hair was really puffy as well.
"Urm. Hi?" I nervously say.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" The pink creature says as it dissapears into a pink cloud.
"That can't be good." I gulp.
I look around me and see a few other creatures looking at me with looks of terror.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
They immediately run away as soon as I ask.
"I feel.... A bit hurt." I mumble to myself.
I sigh and start to walk away.
"Quickly contain it and get it out of here." A masculine voice shouts from behind me.
I turn towards it just in time to be blinded by a white light. The pain from the light causes me to close my eyes. I can't open my eyes for what felt like a solid minute. After a while I open my eyes and I'm met by pure white. I look around me, everywhere is pure white. I sit down and just stare into the whiteness around me. A recognisable character walks up to me. My clone. He's walking towards me from the whiteness in the distance. I smile for a second then remember what the last memory did to me. As he walks towards me I notice something is different about him. He's got a look of excitement on his face. I start to crawl away from him.
"I don't want to remember anything else! Not after the last memory!" I shout as I crawl as fast as I can.
I stand back up and sprint away from him. I look behind me only to see that I'm running on the spot. I push my body as hard as I can trying to run away from it. The clone was now right behind me, holding it's hand out. A folded up piece of paper sits in the palm of his hand. I grab it and throw it to the ground. His excited face fades into a look of sadness. I stop running and turn to face him. He looks at me with a sad face and shakes his head. He then turns around and fades away.

The piece of paper turns into ash and is then blown away by a gust of wind.
"There hasn't been a gust of wind this whole time. I wonder why that one just happened." I ask out loud.
After a few seconds the whiteness around me fades. After a few seconds I can see where I am. I'm in a forest, one that I somewhat recognise.
"Make sure that everypony knows that the creature has been returned back to it's habitat and that it didn't hurt anypony in Ponyville. That should calm down the habitants a bit." A grey creature in a gold set of.... I can't remember the name of it.
I look around me to see that I'm surrounded by grey and white creatures in the gold body stuff.
"The spell will only last about five more minutes, so we better get out of here and quickly at that." One of the creatures says.
The others nod and start to jog away from me.
I try to stand up only for my body not to listen. I sigh as I stare up at the sky and the passing clouds.
'As soon as this spell wears off I'm just gonna sit down and try to get some sort of bearing.' I think to myself with another sigh.
I can't help but sigh at this whole situation. One minute I was with Scootaloo.... The next.... I'm para.... para.... I can't remember the word. The next minute I'm unable to move. After what felt like an hour of not being able to move I stand up and stretch my limbs and warm them up. I take a minute to look around and try to get an understanding of where I could be. Trees. Nothing but trees. I have no idea where I am and there's nothing here that could give me a clue to where I was.
"Ah fuck." I groan. "Wait a minute!"
I look down at my feet. I see the trails of the creatures that lead me here all leading in one direction.
"That'll help me get out. They said something about telling the ponies that I had been moved. These trails must lead back to Ponyville." I say with a smile.
I follow the trails through the forest for what felt like an hour. I look up to the sky, the sky is still blue. I look back down at the trails and continue to follow them back to Ponyville. I can't help but smile the whole time. The whole time I'm following the trails I have a slight spring to my step. After a few more minutes of following the trails I leave the forest. I'm back next to Scootaloo's house. I smile as I head towards the house. I stand at the front door with a smile and gently open it. I hear crying coming from the top of the staircase.
'Is Scootaloo crying?' I ask myself.
I step inside, closing the door behind me. I head towards the stairs the whole time the crying is getting louder. I follow the crying up the stairs. When I reach the top of the stairs I stand still for a moment.
'Should I just leave her? What if she doesn't want to be bothered....' I think to myself.
I ignore the thoughts and open the door to Sootaloo's bedroom. The room where we cuddled. The room where she showed me how innocent she is. How beautiful she is. I head into the room and gently close the door behind me. I climb through the rubble and see Scootaloo laid on top of her bed in her knee high socks. Her head is buried in my T-Shirt.
"Are you okay? Why are you crying?" I ask as I take a step towards her.
"DANIEL!" Scootaloo cries.
Scootaloo stands up and runs towards me before jumping into me and wrapping all of her legs around me. Her two front legs around my neck and her back two around my waist.
"DANIEL I WAS SO SCARED THAT I LOST YOU! I THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER COME BACK!" Scootaloo wails as she cries into my shoulder.
"Of course i was gonna come back. I had to walk back from the forest but it wasn't that difficult. I said I wouldn't leave you remember? I'll always find my way back." I say as I hug her back.
Scootaloo sniffles as she wipes her tears into her front pair of socks. She then pulls her head back and looks at me as if she really wanted to do something. She stares at my face, she licks her lips before shaking her head and going back to hugging me.
"Thanks for saying that Daniel. I'm really happy that you'll always find your way back." Scootaloo says with a sniffle.
I smile as I gently pet her head.
Author's Note
What do you think? An interesting chapter in my opinion. What was good and what was bad? Same thing I say everytime.
"Daniel?" Scootaloo sniffles.
"Yes Scootaloo?" I ask back with a smile.
"I.... I made you something after you left us. I wanted to give it you.... Can I give it to you?" Scootaloo asks with a blush.
"Of course. I'd love to have something made by you." I answer.
My heart flutters for a second at the mention that she made me something. I put Scootaloo back down on he ground. She takes a deep breath and heads out of the room.
'I wonder what it is.' I think to myself with an excited smile.
I can hear Scootaloo re-enter the room. A few seconds later I see her slide through a gap in the rubble with a small rectangular, red box, peaking out from a bag on her back.
"H-Here it is. I don't know if you'll like it.... I'm sorry if you don't like it. I'll get you something else.... If you don't." Scootaloo finishes with a gulp.
"Of course I'll like it. You made it yourself, it's already the perfect gift." I say as I pet her head.
She blushes and starts to lighty kick at the ground. Her socks causing the noise from her gentle kicking to become muffled and nearly impossible to hear. After a few seconds she takes a deep breath and grabs the present in her mouth and holds it out in front of her for me to grab. I grab it and can see small bits of the present due to small holes being made where she held it in her mouth and her teeth made small rips.
US
That's what I can see through the holes in the paper. I smile and start to carefully unwrap it. Inside is a picture. Not just any picture though, one with a child like drawing of Scootaloo and me stood next to each other with smiles on our faces in a small wooden frame with the word US scribbled above us. I look at it and a huge wave of happiness washes over me. I look up at Scootaloo and see her staring at the ground.
"I love it. Thanks a lot Scootaloo. I especially love the drawing." I say as I pick her up into a hug.
"Really?" She asks as she stares into my eyes.
"Yes. Really." I give her a straightforward answer.
She blushes heavily.
"W-What did you like the most?" She asks.
"The fact that it has you and me together in it." I answer.
Scootaloo smiles and hugs me back.
"You really know how to make me happy." She says with a sniffle.
I smile and pet her mane. Small tears start to stream down Scootaloo's cheeks.
"Thank you. Thank you for being here for me, you're the best friend I could've ever asked for." Scootaloo sniffles.
"I'll be here for you. I'll be here everyday, everynight." I whisper into her ear.
She shivers in my arms.
"Thank you. Is it okay.... if I cry? Just for a bit?" Scootaloo asks choking on her own voice.
"Of course."
She starts to cry into my chest, her tears soaking my body. I hold her, not letting go for even a second, even after my arms started to ache I still didn't let go. After nearly a solid hour she finally stops crying and just starts to lightly breath into my chest.
"Thank you. For letting me cry, for.... just being here. For being a warmth that I really needed." Scootaloo mumbles into my chest.
"You don't need to thank me. I'd have done it whether you'd asked me to or not." I reply.
Scootaloo's breathing speeds up as if she's in a panic about something.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." Scootaloo answers.
"Okay." I mumble.
Scootaloo looks at my face and smiles. She then licks her lips and slowly starts to get closer to my face.
"Are you sure you're okay?" I ask.
She suddenly stops and pulls her face away from mine.
"Y-Yeah. I'm just.... tired! That's all." She nervously laughs.
"Want me to carry you to your bed?" I ask.
"N-No. I'm okay trust me. Good night Daniel!" Scootaloo says as she slides into her bed and goes under her blanket.
"Oh, okay." I reply as I head out of the room.
I climb through the rubble and leave through the door. I'm stood in the hallway right in front of her bedroom door.
"I guess I'll go sit downstairs." I say to myself.
I head down the hallway and down the stairs. The living room is the exact same as it was when I left. I take a set at the living room table and just stare at the table. The dust has already built back up and created another thick layer. I start to draw in the dust using my finger. After a few seconds my drawing is finished. A small snowman in engraved into the dust on the table.
"I still suck at art." I mumble to myself. "I guess I could tidy up a little to pass the time."
I start to wipe the dust off of the table with my arm, causing the side of my arm to become dirty with dust. i continue using my arm to wipe away the dust until most of it is gone. I then head into the kitchen and use the sink to wash my arm. I then grab a small hand towel and dampen it. I then head back into the living room and back to the table. I then start to wipe the table clean with the hand towel. I smile as I look at my work and at the now clean table. The oak of the table is now visible.
"I think I did a pretty good job." I say to myself.
I then take the hand towel back to the kitchen and use the water from the sink to clean the dust off of it. I then wring the hand towel dry before leaving it on the kitchen counter.
"I need to check what else there is to do."
"Daniel!" Scootaloo calls me from upstairs.
I walk back to her room, through the living room, up the stairs and then into her room.
"Yes Scootaloo?" I ask as I climb through the rubble.
"I-I need to give you.... Give you o-one more p-p-p-present. I-If that's okay w-with you." Scootaloo stutters.
"You don't have to be so nervous. I'll accept any gift from you." I reply.
Scootaloo takes a gulp and then pats on the bed next to her. I know what she's asking me to do, so I sit down on the bed next to her.
"C-Close your eyes please."
"Okay." I reply as I close my eyes.

What do you think to this chapter? Also who likes the idea of Scootaloo and Daniel dating?
The Start Of Something Beautiful
I can hear Scootaloo's breath become ragged.
"A-Are you r-ready for your present?" Scootaloo asks.
"Yeah, I'll have to get you a present to make us even." I say with a smile.
"I'll be more then happy for the present I'm about to receive from you." Scootaloo mumbles. "This present is a present from both of us to both of us."
"O-Okay." I nervously mumble.
After a few seconds I can hear Scootaloo nervously swallow, then take a deep breath. After a few more seconds I can feel a softness against my lips followed by a warm rush of air across my lips. I open my eyes and see Scootaloo pressing her lips against mine. My eyes open in shock and my heart starts to race. Before I can kiss back she pulls away and shivers.
"I-I can see the look in your eyes Daniel.... Y-You don't see me in the same way do you?" Scootaloo asks with a whimper.
"I don't know how you feel Scootaloo, If I knew how you felt I could tell you. Can you tell me how you feel?" I ask.
"I-I.... I don't think I love you yet, it's too early for that, but whenever I look at you I want to hug you, kiss you. I want to keep you close. I don't want you to ever leave me." Scootaloo sniffles. "Rainbow Dash would call me a softy if she heard me saying this but I can't hide how I feel Daniel. Please Daniel. I may not be perfect, in fact I'm a wreck. But please.... Please Daniel let me kiss you, even if it's only for one more time."
"Scootaloo, I don't think I can let you have one more kiss." I mumble.
"I knew you would never like me as more then a friend." Scootaloo says as a tear streaks down her cheek.
I cup her cheek with my hand and stare into her eyes.
"No, I couldn't let you have one more. I want to give you more than one." I say as I drag my thumb across her lips.
"R-Really?" Scootaloo asks me with a look of hope in her eyes.
I slowly bring my lips to hers, I gently stroke her ear as I place my lips against hers.
"Mmmm." Scootaloo whimpers into my lips.
I separate our lips and rest the tip of my nose against the tip of hers.
"I never want to leave you Scootaloo. I don't know why I've grown to like you this much this quickly but I.... I want to kiss you and hold you too. That night when you and I cuddled in your bed.... When you stood up.... You where so beautiful in the moonlight. You where the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Even.... Even more beautiful then my.... My.... My ex-wife." I mumble.
The warmth from our breaths combined in front of us and danced in the cold air. I see Scootaloo shiver.
"Are you cold?" I ask.
After a few seconds of silence Scootaloo starts to cry.
"Scootaloo?"
Scootaloo then jumps at me and wraps her forelegs around the back of my neck. She then slams her lips against mine. Her hot breath spread across my lips and chin which where a huge contrast to the cold tears that rolled down her cheeks and onto mine. I snake my arms around her barrel and pull her closer, I then start to kiss back, adding as much love as I can into the kiss. After a few seconds we separate, both of us panting from the passionate kiss we just shared.
"Daniel.... You're the greatest thing to ever happen to me." Scootaloo cries before burying her head into my shoulder.
I gently stroke her mane.
"I'm glad I could be so important to you." I mumble as I gently kiss her forehead.
"Daniel, I don't want to be friends. I want to be more.... I want.... I want to be your special somepony." Scootaloo asks as she gently kisses my shoulder.
"I'd be upset if you wanted to stay friends after a kiss like that." I joke.
Scootaloo lets a small giggle as she uses one of her hooves to wipe away her tears.
"Daniel...." Scootaloo mumbles as she kisses me again.
I cup her cheek and gently stroke it with my thumb. I can feel more of her tears stream down my cheeks. The body heat being shared from the hug combined with her fur is making my body start to sweat a little. I stop the kiss and look into Scootaloo's eyes.
"I should probably shower." I say with a nervous laugh.
"No.... That can wait." Scootaloo says as she resumes the kiss.
I smile and start to run my hands through her mane.
Scootaloo stops the kiss again and rests her head on my shoulder.
"Daniel.... I can't believe this is real.... A filly like me, with a stallion like you." Scootaloo says in a sad tone.
"I could say the same. A guy like me with a filly like you." I say reply with a smile.
"Daniel, being in your arms, it's like heaven." Scootaloo mumbles into my ear.
"Do you want to lie down on the bed so we can cuddle easier?" I ask.
Scootaloo nods her head. I sit down on the bed with Scootaloo still holding onto me. Scootaloo's belly resting against mine, her legs pressed together between mine, her head resting on my shoulder, her breathing's quick and ragged. I can feel Scootaloo's sock covered forelegs start to snake around from the back of my neck to my chest.
"Daniel.... My special somepony...." Scootaloo giggles as she draws circles onto my chest with her socks.
"Have I ever told you how amazingly cute you are in your socks." I say with a smile.
"No...." Scootaloo answers with a blush.
I gently grab Scootaloo's left forehoof and bring it to my lips and place a gentle kiss on it.
"Well you're cute in them." I say happily.
Scootaloo looks down at her left forehoof with a blush.
"Th-Thanks." Scootaloo mumbles.
Author's Note
What do you think? I personally love Scootaloo and think she needs a little love.
What did you like and what do I need to improve on?
The Prench Know How To Kiss
"I really want to tell Rainbow Dash that I've found my special somepony." Scootaloo mumbles into my chest.
"Why don't you? In fact we could both go and tell her." I say.
I gently pet her mane as she breathes into my chest.
"I wonder how she'll react to you." Scootaloo says as she pulls herself up my body until our faces are at the same level.
"The last time the other creatures here saw me it didn't go too well." I mumble.
Scootaloo gently plants a kiss onto my lips.
"It doesn't matter what they think. It only matters what WE think." Scootaloo whispers.
"Thank god you're the brains, not me." I say with a chuckle.
Scootaloo giggles and starts to lightly draw circles onto my chest, the softness of her socks, the hardness of her hooves and the heat radiating off of them felt great on my skin.
"I can't help but be absolutely awestruck at your cuteness in your socks." I say with a smile. "Your also ridiculously cute when you wear my shirt."
"I'm guessing you want me to wear them more often?" Scootaloo asks with a smirk.
"I wouldn't be against you doing that." I say with a chuckle.
Scootaloo then giggles and stares into my eyes.
"Daniel.... My special somepony.... I never thought I'd actually have a special somepony." Scootaloo mumbles.
"I also bet you never thought it'd be a monkey creature." I joke.
"Let's tell her another day. I just want to lay here with you." Scootaloo says with a lazy smile.
"Then let's just lay here." I say with a smile of my own.
I snake my arms around her barrel.
"Who'd have thought that a filly with a personality problem would be here in the arms of their special somepony." Scootaloo mumbles with a smirk.
"Like I'd ever let a filly like you away from me without trying to win them over." I chuckle.
"So what you're saying is that if you met another filly like me you'd try to win them over? Aren't I good enough?" Scootaloo asks.
"No, no! You're perfect! I'd never go after someone else! EVER!" I answer quickly.
"I'm only playing with you." Scootaloo laughs.
Scootaloo curls into a ball as she laughs. I cross my arms in mock anger.
"That's just mean." I say with a pout.
"I know how to cheer you up." Scootaloo giggles.
"And how would you do that?" I ask with a grin.
"Like this." Scootaloo says as she uncurls herself.
She then plants a kiss onto my lips.
"I remember hearing something from Rainbow Dash about a special kiss she gave her old special somepony. It was called a 'Prench Kiss' or something like that. Want to try it with me?" Scootaloo asks with a blush.
"Prench kiss? I've never heard of that but sure." I say with a smile.
Scootaloo smiles at me and gently places her lips onto mine, the warm, soft feeling of her lips on mine was one that I would never forget, it felt amazing. After a few seconds I can feel something warm, wet and squishy press against my lips. My eyes shoot open in surprise. I look at Scootaloo and see her looking at me, we make eye contact and I can see that her eyes are full of hope. I trust her enough to open my mouth and let whatever was pressing into my lips into my mouth. I continue to look into her eyes, the emotion in her eyes changes from hope into love. I can then feel a long, wide, warm, wet and rough snake like thing enter my mouth. I can feel it start to rub against the inside of my mouth and along my teeth. The wetness from the snake like thing and my saliva both mix in my mouth. Something inside me urges me to stick my tongue out. So I follow the urge and let my body go into autopilot. My tongue slowly slides out of the gap between my lips and into a warm, wet, rough place. It's then that I realise that Scootaloo's tongue is in my mouth, moving around like she's trying to feel out the entirety of the inside of my mouth, she's also running it along the top of my teeth, when she gets to my ca, ca.... sharp teeth she shudders and her eyes seem to twinkle. I also then realise that my tongue is inside her mouth, I then start to explore the inside of her mouth with my tongue. The rough, wet and warm inside gives me an odd, yet nice feeling. I twist my head so that I can get more of my tongue into her mouth. I rub my tongue along the top of her teeth, all of them are mostly flat except the odd bit of tooth that has a tiny chip missing. Scootaloo starts to pant into my mouth causing a new sensation to rush over me. Her hot breath and tongue both lightly slide across my tongue, I shiver a little when this happened. After a few more seconds I start to feel slightly light headed, but my body doesn't want me to stop. Scootaloo seperates us with a short trail of saliva still connecting us.
"Daniel...." Scootaloo pants before continuing the prench kiss.
We spent an unknown amount of time kissing, seconds turned to minutes, minutes into hours. All I could ever think of during the kiss was how I wanted it to never end. The warmth of Scootaloo's mouth and tongue mixed with the long, wide and rough feeling of her tongue completely blew my mind and introduced me to something I haven't felt before. I may have felt it before but I can't remember if I have, nor do I want to remember.
"Daniel.... I love you, I love you, I love you." Scootaloo repeats with teary eyes.
She then plants another kiss onto my lips. The warmth from the kiss contrasted by the coldness of her tears. It was something that I had felt before but I can't help but love the feeling of. Scootaloo then slowly snakes her sock covered forelegs round my chest causing her chest to pulled against mine. Our breaths both leaving at different times causes our chest to rub together. The fur from her chest tickles me in a pleasent way. It reminds me that she's real, this kiss is real. I wrap my arms around her barrel and pull her entire body against mine. I can feel Scootaloo then start to use her backlegs to push her self up against me and deepen the kiss.
"Daniel.... Stay with me.... Forever." Scootaloo separates the kiss, panting.
"Like I'd ever even dream of it after a kiss like that." I answer between pants.
Scootaloo then lightly kisses my chest.
"You're the best special somepony a filly could ask for." Scootaloo says with a sniffle.
"And you're the best filly a.... monkey? Could ask for." I reply with a smile.
Author's Note
What did you like and what do I need to improve on?
Another slow chapter moving their relationship on a little bit. A nice slow chapter.... Again.... Did I mention that this story is slow? I think I did at some point.... Anyway! Scootaloo is cute. That's all.
Getting Ready To Meet Rainbow Dash
"I want to tell her Daniel. I want her to be proud of me." Scootaloo mumbles.
"Are you talking about Rainbow Dash?"
"Yeah, ever since my parents.... Went.... She become like family to me. I want her to be proud of me Daniel. Do you think she'll be proud of me?" Scootaloo asks with a nervous sigh.
"Like you said Scootaloo, it doesn't matter what the others think, only what we think." I point out.
"Yeah, you're right." Scootaloo says with a happy smirk.
"Do you want to tell her now or do you want to wait?" I ask.
"Yeah, I want to tell her as soon as possible." Scootaloo answers nervously.
"Remember Scootaloo, It only matters what WE think." I remind her.
She climbs off of me and off of the bed, she then looks at me and smiles.
"Yeah, what we think." Scootaloo says happily.
I stand up off of the bed and stretch, loosening my limbs.
"It's funny to think that out of all of the creatures I could've fallen for it would be a monkey." Scootaloo thinks out loud with a chuckle.
"It is odd isn't it?" I chuckle.
"Oh, I didn't mean to say that. You not being a pony doesn't matter to me." Scootaloo panics.
"Scootaloo, I know it doesn't, otherwise you wouldn't have kissed me." I assure her.
Scootaloo nods her head and starts to head out of the room. I follow shortly after. We both exited the house in silence, though uncommon it wasn't unexpected. We where both going to tell Rainbow Dash that we're now a couple. I may not have met her but it means so much to Scootaloo that it's like meeting her mother. We both leave the house through the front door. As we both stand out in the chilly air we can't help but to take a glance at eachother. That small moment that we looked at eachother, we both saw into eachothers eyes, eachothers worries and hopes layed themselves out in just a glance. All of the worry that Scootaloo had buried was just beneath the surface, so close to the rearing it's head that just looking into her eyes gave me a look into that worry, the worry that caused her to shake, not the cold that was blown across her furred body.
"Are you sure you're ready for this? We don't have to if you want to hold off on doing it."
"Yes Daniel, I'm sure." Scootaloo answers with a sigh.
That sigh lingered in the air, the only sound that remained after we finished our conversation. I could still hear it for a few moments after we finished talking, like an echo it replayed in my ear. I knew she was worried but I didn't know that she was this worried. No matter what happened I knew I'd still have feelings for her, she was my special somepony and I wanted it to stay that way.
I nod my head and we start our journey, I don't know where we're going but I trust Scootaloo, I trust her enough to blindly follow her. I know I shouldn't trust someone this much but my heart keeps telling my head that it's okay, that for once my heart knew better and that I should trust it. I make my decision and decide to follow my heart. Scootaloo is the most important thing to me right now and I think she feels the same way. I look down at the ground and prepare myself for meeting Rainbow Dash.
"It's not safe to look at the ground while walking." Scootaloo's voice jokes.
"Sorry, I'm just a bit, anx, anx.... nervous about this all. The last time I met a pony it went terribly, I just don't want to be taken away again. The only thing I'm worried about really is what if they take me somewhere so far away that I can't get back? What if Rainbow Dash calls the ponies that took me away last time and they put me in a prison cell and never let me out?" I explain.
"If that ever happened Daniel I'd find you, I'd find you and bring you back. Back to me." Scootaloo answers with a loving smile.
I smile back at Scootaloo and look back up. House after house after house, they all look similar if not the same. The only buildings with any real difference to them are the shops and businesses. Buildings ranging from bland wooden houses to a bright, colourful, carnival tent like building, even a tree hollowed out into a library. In the middle of the street ahead of us is a group of ponies all talking to eachother. As I get closer to the group they turn towards me and start to slowly edge themselves to the side of the street. I can't help but feel a little, down. I may not be a pony but I'm no monster.
"What is it?"
"I don't know but look at it's claws."
"I didn't even see it's claws."
"Is that Scootaloo next to it?"
"It is, should we get her away from it?
"I'm not going anywhere near it."
The conversation continues as I pass them. I can see Scootaloo get visibly angry at the ponies as they talk about me.
"It's okay Scootaloo, I don't care what they think. As long as you're with me then I'll always be okay." I assure her.
"I don't want them to talk about you like that Daniel. Somepony as amazing as you doesn't deserve it." Scootaloo sighs.
"I also don't deserve you, you're too good for me but I still have you, no matter what happens Scootaloo as long as you're with me everything will be okay." I explain.
Scootaloo looks at me with a smile.
We both continue our silent journey, towards Rainbow Dash. The number of houses starts to thin out and a field starts to come into view. A large green field with a few trees dotted on it. Clouds silently hang over the field creating small patches of cool areas of shade. The cold areas of shade didn't seem needed with the cold breeze that blows across my body every few seconds.
"Are you ready Daniel? I'm going to call for Rainbow Dash." Scootaloo asks.
"Yeah. I'm as ready as I'm going to be." I answer.
Author's Note
What do you think to the chapter?
Scootaloo and Daniel are getting ready to meet Rainbow Dash, the closest thing to a family member that Scootaloo has. Will it go well or will the ponies prejudice towards creatures they don't know ruin it?
"Rainbow Dash!" Scooaloo Shouts.
"Sup squirt." A voice shouts from behind a cloud.
"I have something to talk to you about!" Scootaloo shouts back.
A blue pony with a rainbow coloured mane pokes it's head over the cloud. It looks towards Scootaloo with a smile, then it notices me. It stares into my eyes, the stare slowly start to become a glare. The cold breeze stops as we both stare at eachother. A few silent seconds pass as we continue to hold our stare. A pair of blue wings snap out of the sides of the cloud, a few seconds later a blue blur and a strong gust of wind blows into me causing me to fall backwards. As I hit the ground the wind get's knocked out of me, leaving me weak and gasping for air.
"DANIEL!" Scootaloo's voice screams from a distance.
I force myself to sit up and look towards where her scream came from. A rainbow trail is being painted across the sky and into the distance.
"No fucking way...." I mumble in awe. "No...."
I rest my elbows on my knees and let my arms hang limply to the sides.
"I lost her again...." I growl through gritted teeth.
I can feel an emptiness start to grow in my stomach.
"I don't know if I can find my way this time Scootaloo.... I.... Don't know...." I whimper.
I can feel a coldness start to streak down my cheeks. I raise my right hand to my right cheek and feel for the coldness. It's wet, a wet trail from my eye, down my cheek.
"I'm crying.... How pathetic." I sniffle.
"Daniel." A voice I recognise calls to me.
"Linda?" I ask.
"Yes darling, it's me. I'm so happy that you've moved on. She's so pretty." Linda's voice echo's.
"I'm sorry Linda. I'm sorry for not being able to do anything to help you." I choke through tears.
"Shh. It's okay, I'm not upset. Me and Jessica are okay." Linda's voice assures me.
A few seconds later Linda appears in front of me.
"Linda?" I happily ask as I force myself to stand.
"I'm sorry Daniel, you can't touch me. We can only talk." Linda sadly explains.
"You meant the world to me Linda, I'm so glad that I even get to talk to you again."
Another tear starts to slide down my cheek painting a wet and salty trail to my lips. A strong salty taste starts to spread across my tongue.
"Daniel, my little taste of paradise. Don't give up. Scootaloo needs you. Don't let anything bad happen to her. I love you Daniel, but she needs you more then me. Give her all of the love you gave to me. She needs it." Linda smiles.
"I don't know if I can Linda." I mumble as I look into the ground.
Linda holds a hand out for me. I try to hold her hand but my hand just floats straight through it.
"Linda...." I whimper.
"No Daniel. Don't cry, you where always so nice, I couldn't have asked for a better husband. I'm just glad I got to meet you before I died." Linda smiles happily as she lets her hand fall back to her side.
"I don't know if I'll ever find her though. I don't know if I'm strong enough."
"You are strong enough, I will help you remember." Linda says as she dissapears.
I fall to my knees and stare at the ground. A single piece of folded paper lies where she once stood. I crawl towards it and pick it up. I take a deep breath and stare at it, debating whether I want to see what's written on it. After a few seconds of deciding I unfold the piece of paper.
DETERMINATION
I can feel a strong urge flow through my body, the urge to stand up and run in the direction that the rainbow was heading.
"She's right, I guess I do have the strength." I say as I place the piece of paper in my pocket.
I stand back up and look towards the direction that the rainbow traveled.
"I'm coming Scootaloo, I made a promise. I will always find my way back." I say to myself confidently.
---------------------------------------------- Scootaloo's P.O.V ----------------------------------------------
White walls surround me and Rainbow Dash, a small bed with a white blanket covering it, a single dresser stands proudly and alone against one of the walls.
"Scootaloo what where you doing next to the thing?" Rainbow Dash angrily asks me.
"How dare you call him a thing!" I shout at her.
"What?" Rainbow Dash asks with a look of surprise.
"How bucking DARE YOU!" I scream at her.
"I SAVED you." Rainbow Dash angrily raises her voice.
"NO YOU DIDN'T!" I scream as tears start to build up in my eyes.
"I think you need to take some time to think about everything." Rainbow Dash sighs.
"NO I DON'T *whimper*..... How could you do this to me." I cry.
Rainbow Dash leaves the room and locks the door behind her.
"Daniel.... Please find your way back to me, I need you." I cry into my hooves.
I continue to cry into my hooves, wetting the socks that covered them.
"Daniel.... My special somepony...." I whimper.
I start to stamp my forehooves into the ground.
"DANIEL!" I scream again. "DANIEL PLEASE!"
I wipe my eyes and run to a window facing outwards. A large city as far as the eye can see takes up most of the view from the window.
"Please Daniel." I whimper.
The breath from my whimper fogs the window up, blocking my vision of the outside. I start to draw in the condensed area of the window. I start with a large heart, followed by the letters "SL&DI" in the middle of the heart.
"Daniel...." I mumble. "I hope you keep your promise to me."
I turn around and head towards the bed, my socks muffling the sounds of my hoofsteps, made the journey nearly silent. The only sounds that could be heard in the room was my breathing and the odd whimper sneaking it's way out among my breaths. I climb onto the bed and curl myself into a ball.
"Daniel...."
Author's Note
What did you think to the chapter?
Daniel and Scootaloo have been seperated. Will Daniel keep his promise and get back to Scootaloo or will everything be against him and stop him? The next few chapter will answer this question.
------Scootaloo's P.O.V------
It had been a few hours since I was kidnapped by Rainbow Dash, the day rolled into night and no matter what I did I couldn't stop thinking and worry about Daniel.
"Have you calmed down enough to talk Scootaloo?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"How could you do this to me Rainbow Dash? I looked up to you and.... I had such good news and you ruined it...." I whimper my answer.
"What have I done? All I did was get you away from that weird thing that was following you." Rainbow Dash asks with a look of confusion.
"That THING was my special somepony...." I sniffle as a tear starts to build in my eye.
"What?"
"Like I said, he was my special somepony.... Daniel Isle...." I whimper.
"Why would you want that thing to be your special somepony? You could have something normal like a pony or a griffin at the least." Rainbow Dash asks.
"Because something pulled us both together and we decided to stay together, it just happened out of nowhere.... I have no idea why it happened but he's my special somepony and I'd never swap him for anyone else." I answer proudly.
"Is he really somepony you want as your special somepony?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"Yes."
"Celestia damnit.... I guess I should take you back to him then." Rainbow Dash sighs.
"You're right you will you rainbow whorse." I growl.
"Wow, not cool Scootaloo." Rainbow Dash says dissapointadly.
"That's why Daniel is my special somepony.... Even when this happens he still stays by my side and he never looks down at me for it...." I whine.
"What do you mean?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"It doesn't concern you." I snarl.
"Okay, okay. No need to get all angry with me."
Tears start to flow down my cheeks as the feeling of loneliness becomes to much.
"I just want Daniel back...." I whimper through tears.
"I'll get you back to him." Rainbow Dash groans.
Rainbow Dash motions for me to climb onto her back. I climb on and she starts to head towards the window of the room. She then opens the window and stretches her wings. A few seconds later she flies out of the window with me on her back. The cold, crisp ari flows through my mane as we fly through the air, Rainbow Dash flies slower then normal so as to not make a rainbow since seeing ranibows at night isn't normal and may confuse some of the ponies.
"What is he exactly?" Rainbow Dash asks breaking the silence.
"A monkey, well that's what we think. I still don't really know what a monkey is so I'm just guessing." I answer.
The silence immediately then returns as neither of us can think of something to start a conversation. The silence is uncomfortable and seems really unnatural. Minutes go by in the silent journey, not another word spoke.
"Where do you think he'd be?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"My house, if I had to guess I'd say there." I answer.
Rainbow Dash nods her head and continues to fly in the direction of Ponyville.
"Why did you take me to canterlot?" I ask.
"Because you would've been safe there if he was a dangerous animal. I knew I could keep you safe there." Rainbow Dash answers.
"That doesn't sound like you." I point out.
"You're like a little sister to me, of course I want to keep you safe." Rainbow Dash mumbles.
"You're secretly a softie under that coolness." I joke.
"Maybe so but don't go telling anyone that. I have a reputation to uphold." Rainbow Dash replies.
"I know you do."
"We're nearly here so be ready to greet him or whatever you do." Rainbow Dash says as Ponyville comes into view.
"I'm ready." I mumble.
The rest of the journey is spent in silence, this time the silence is natural and is comfortable. A few minutes later Rainbow Dash lands us outside of my house. I hastily climb off of her and sprint into my house.
"DANIEL!" I shout into the house.
*Silence*
"Daniel?" I ask as I walk through the living room and up the stairs.
I enter my bedroom and climb through the rubble towards my bed. Nothing. My bed is there with the blanket and pillow still there, but no Daniel.
"Daniel?" I whimper.
------Daniel's P.O.V------
"I'm coming Scootaloo." I groan as I stretch after waking up.
I'm still sat under the tree that I had slept under during the night.
"I'll follow where that rainbow creature went, I'll follow where the trail went and I'll come back to you." I think outloud. "I'll make my way back, just like I promised."
I stand up and get ready for a long walk down a long and narrow road across the field.
-Flashback-
I stand back up and look towards the direction that the rainbow traveled.
"I'm coming Scootaloo, I made a promise. I will always find my way back." I say to myself confidently.
I start to look around the field for anything that could be of use. After hours of searching the field I managed to find a decent supply of berries that I had to store in my pockets and an old discarded water bottle. I didn't want to take the water bottle but I didn't have a choice, it was the only thing I had that could be used to store water. As the hours passed the day started to shift into night, in the distance I can see the sun lowering and the moon rising. I immediately head towards a nearby tree and sit underneath it.
'This isn't the best but I need to sleep before I head out.' I think to myself.
I rest my head against the tree and sigh.
"I'll make my way back Scootaloo, no matter what happens I'll always find my way back." I mumble to myself.
I let out a yawn before falling asleep against the tree.
-End of Flashback-
I check the berries in my pockets to see if any of them got crushed, to my surprise none of them had been crushed in my pocket while I slept.
"Some good news at least." I say with a smile.
I start my journey towards the place the rainbow trail went to. A large white city in the distance.
"Here I come."
Author's Note
What did you think? Tell me what you liked and what you didn't like, it helps me greatly.
Scootaloo has a conversation with Rainbow Dash telling her about Daniel and Scootaloo's relationship, Rainbow Dash is confused by this and starts to ask questions. Scootaloo's answers give Rainbow Dash something to think on. In the end she helps Scootaloo get back to her house in the hopes of finding Daniel.
Daniel has prepared himself for his journey and is ready to start his travels after a nights rest. A pocket full of berries and an old water bottle is all that Daniel has in aiding him to get to the city in the the distance that the rainbow trail lead to. Daniel is ready for a long journey to find his special somepony.
Both wanted to get back to eachother only to just miss eachother by a few hours. They where so close yet so far.
"You're the creature from the forest aren't you?" A familiar voice asks from behind.
"Yeah?" I answer as I turn towards the voice.
A familiar yellow creature with wings hovers in front of me.
"How have you been since we met?" Fluttershy asks.
"I've been good thanks, Fluttershy wasn't it?" I ask.
"You remembered my name?" Fluttershy asks.
"Yeah, shouldn't I?" I ask in return.
She smiles at me and nods her head.
"It's nice that you remembered but I expected you to forget since that was the only time we met and it was only for a few minutes." Fluttershy answers.
I scratch the back of my head, then shrug my shoulders.
"I guess I'm good at remembering names." I answer.
"You look like you're getting ready for something, I even heard you say 'Hear I come.' What are you doing? If you don't mind me asking that is." Fluttershy asks.
"I'm getting Scootaloo back from some rainbow creature." I answer.
"Rainbow creature? Do you mean Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asks.
"Yeah, how did you know?" I ask.
"Well.... I know her." Fluttershy answers quitely.
"You do? Can you tell me why she would take Scootaloo away from me?" I ask angrily.
"Away from you? They're at Scootaloo's house right now." Fluttershy answers while shaking.
"Wait, really? When did they get there?" I ask.
I grab Fluttershy and start to shake her.
"When did they get there?" I ask again.
"They got their last night." Fluttershy whimpers.
"Really? You're not lieing to me?" I ask.
"Yes they're really there!" Fluttershy cries.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry, please don't cry. Ah fuck." I panic.
Fluttershy turns around and starts to fly away from while criying loudly.
I look towards Scootaloo's house, then back to Fluttershy.
"Ah fuck, FLUTTERSHY WAIT! I'M SORRY!" I shout as I run after Fluttershy.
Fluttershy starts to cry louder and flies faster away from me.
"PLEASE FLUTTERSHY! I'M SORRY!" I shout to her.
A small cottage that looks likea huge bush with a cottage inside of it starts to come into view.
"Leave me alone!" Fluttershy whimpers as she rushes to the cottage.
"God damnit." I pant.
Fluttershy slams her body into the door, throwing it open. As soon as she enters the house she slams the door shut. I give up on running and just jog towards the door. As I arrive at the door I stop, bend over and rest my hands on my knees as I catch my breath. After a few seconds of catching my breath I knock on the door.
"Go away!" A quite voice cries.
"Fluttershy please, I'm so sorry!" I shout into the door.
"No you're not!" Fluttershy's voice cries.
"I am! Please Fluttershy!" I shout.
"Leave me alone!" Fluttershy whimpers.
I sigh and step away from the door. I look to my right and see a fence, I stare at it for a few seconds before sitting down on the ground in front of it, my back resting against the fence and my knees pointing upwards. I slouch forward, resting my stomach against my knees.
Time slowly passes by as I just sit here in front of Fluttershy's house. I watch as the sun starts to lower and the moon starts to rise. I look down at my feet and see the darnkess of the night slowly pass over me from my right and continue on it's way to the left.
'I've been here for hours. I hope Scootaloo's okay.' I think to myself.
I sigh as I continue to wait outside of Fluttershy's house. More hours pass by as I continue to wait.
"I should sleep and wait for her to come out tomorrow." I mumble to myself followed quickly by a yawn.
My stomach painfully rumbles.
'It's been two days since I've eaten.' I think to myself with a yawn.
My stomach rumbles again, this time a lot more painful, unbearably painful.
"Ah fuck." I groan.
I start to pant and feel weaker. I stare at Fluttershy's front door as my body starts to go limp.
"I shouldn't have ran.... Gah, fuck." A sharp stabbing pain ruins across my stomach.
I hold my left hand against my stomach, a few seconds later my left arm starts to go limp.
"I'm *pant* running *pant* out *pant* of *pant* energy." I groan between pants.
I try my hardest to keep my eyes open, after a few minutes my eyelids start to flutter closed.
"Fucking damn it." I groan.
I start to feel unbalanced and begin to sway in place. I use all of my energy to stop myself. My eyelids slam shut and everything goes black.
-------------- Scootaloo's P.O.V -------------
"Where do you think he'll be?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"I don't know...." I mumble.
"Come on Scootaloo, it'll be fine, it's probably just on it's way back here." Rainbow Dash consoles me.
"Please stop calling HIM an IT." I demand.
"Okay, okay. Sorry. He'll be here soon I guarantee it." Rainbow Dash says as she wraps a wing around me.
"I don't want to have to wait Rainbow Dash.... I want him back here with me." I whimper.
Rainbow Dash uses her wing to pull me closer to her.
"If he doesn't come back you could always find a nice stallion. I hear chipcutter is looking for a fillyfriend." Rainbow Dash says happily.
"I'm happily with Daniel, Rainbow Dash, I thought you where cool.... But you're just really mean." I mumble sadly.
"I AM cool!" Rainbow Dash protests.
"Yeah, so cool that you hate Daniel because he isn't a pony." I mumble as I lift Rainbow Dash's wing off of me.
"I'm only looking out for you Scootaloo, a pony is more trustworthy. We don't even know what he is." Rainbow Dash explains.
"He's a monkey. A nice, trustworthy monkey." I mumble.
"Scootaloo, you need to date a pony not a monkey. Trust me it's better for you." Rainbow Dash argues.
"Here I thought you where like family to me...." I whimper as I step away from Rainbow Dash.
"I am! Please Scootaloo I'm only looking out for you."
"No.... You're not." I growl. "You took away the ONE thing that made me happy! I HATE YOU!"
"Scootaloo.... Please." Rainbow Dash sadly mumbles.
"I'm going to find Daniel." I growl as I head towards the front door.
"Does he really mean this much to you?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"YES!" I scream my answer.
".... Okay.... I'll help you find him...." Rainbow Dash defeatedly groans.

What did you think?
Daniel is ready to begin his journey only to be interrupted by Fluttershy. They have a confrontation and Fluttershy flies away crying, Daniel follows behind trying to apologise. Daniel feels so bad for what he did that he waits outside of Fluttershy's house to apologise only for his body to finally remind him of something important.
Scootaloo has an argument with Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash wants Scootaloo to date a pony but Scootaloo only wants Daniel and nopony else. The argument ends with Rainbow Dash wanting to help Scootaloo.
But does Rainbow Dash really want to help Daniel? The answer will be revealed in a future chapter.
I'm surrounded by a blackness. In front of me stands Daniel, he looks lost and confused.
"Daniel, where are we?" I ask.
"DANIEL YOU FREAK!"
"Wait! I didn't say that!" I shout.
"WEIRD MONKEY SCUM!"
I look up and above me is another me. She looks angry.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"STUPID MONKEY! WHY WON'T YOU GO AWAY!"
"NO! DON'T GO! PLEASE!" I shout at Daniel.
My body starts to feel heavy, even standing still starts to become more difficult with each passing second. After a few seconds the weight becomes too much for me and I collapse onto my stomach. I look up at Daniel who stares back at me with a sad look on his face.
"The same face he pulled when I when I called him a.... A stupid freak, after he started to get rid of the dust on the pillow....." I mumble.
"CELESTIA DAMN FREAK! WHAT THE HELL EVEN ARE YOU? SOME WEIRD, USELESS, BRAIN DEAD MONKEY FREAK!"
"I'm.... not saying that.... Daniel please." I beg with a sniffle,
It's like he can't hear me, only the fake me that's shouting abuse at him. He looks at me for a second.
"Please Daniel." I beg.
"GO DROWN IN A RIVER!"
I rest my head on my hooves and start to cry.
'He can't hear me.... He's going to leave! He's going to leave me as well! Why won't she shut up!? She's not the real me!' I think to myself as I cry into my sock covered hooves.
I feel a pair of warm arms snake around me.
"I made a promise Scootaloo. You can shout all that abuse at me all you want, but in the end. You don't deserve to be alone for something you can't help. I'm here for you.... No matter the amount of abuse that side of you shouts at me, because this side of you is just too sweet to be left to turn sour." Daniels voice says.
I look at him with tear soaked eyes and cheeks. Daniel is looking at me with his arms wrapped around me.
"Really?" I ask.
"GO DIE!"
"Yes, Really." Daniel says with a smile.
I wipe away Scootaloo's tears. Even in this dream I can't stand to see her crying. She looks up at me with a warm smile plastered onto her face.
"I'm glad I met you." She mumbles.
"WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING?! GO DIE ALREADY!"
"I'm glad I met you too." I say as I kiss her forehead.
I wake up still in Scootaloo's bed with her on top of me. This time her lips are floating dangerously close to mine so I decide to turn my head to it's side to make sure we don't accidently kiss. A few seconds later Scootaloo starts to shuffle a bit as she starts to wake up. As I predicted in her wake up movements she presses her lips against me by accident giving me a kiss on the cheek. As soon as she does this her eyes open in a panic.
"What just happened?" She asks with a blush.
"We got lucky. You where face to face with me so I moved my head away to make sure you didn't accidently give me a kiss." I answer.
"So what did my lips just touch?" She asks confused.
"I avoided lip to lip but I couldn't avoid lip to cheek." I mumble with a blush.
"WHAT?!" She shouts as a strong blush spreads across her face. "It was an accident! N-Nothing else got it?!"
"Absolutely." I say with a nod.
She then looks at the roof and notices a ray of moonlight being shone down onto us. The small particles of dust are now glowing like tiny stars around us.
"Wow." Is all I can say at what I can see.
Scootaloo climbs off of the bed. Her hair is deshevelled, her socks loosely cling onto her legs and the shirt she's wearing is now creased in multiple places. She stands in the ray of light surrounded by the glowing, star like particles of dust. Some of the dust even rest in her hair giving it the appearance of glowing. She looks back towards me and smiled. She looked absolutely gorgeous in this one moment. Her long purple mane and tail contrasting with her orange body, the ray of light being shone onto her like a spotlight and the glowing dust. She looked like something that most people would dream of. She looks back at me and our eyes met. At that moment my chest felt tight. Her beautiful purple eyes, slightly dewy from just waking up stare into mine. Her lips curl up into a smile, I smile back without any thought or hesitation. I'm completely awestruck at the sight of Scootaloo. She takes a step towards me.
"It's night time. We should probably head back to sleep. I have an idea of what we can do tomorrow so I want you to be well rested." She says as she climbs back onto the bed and on top of me.
She once again rests her hindlegs between my legs, her forelegs are under my stomach and her head is resting on my chest.
"Good night Daniel." Scootaloo says with a happy sigh.
"Good night Scootaloo." I reply.
I gently stroke her back under the shirt as she slowly waits to fall back to sleep. I can't help but smile, no matter what I do I can't stop myself from smiling.
'She was beautiful in that moonlight. I'd like to see her like that again. I don't know why but when I saw her my chest felt tight. I need to find out what that means.... I think getting my memories back might help with this one. This seems like something I might understand before I forgot everything.' I think to myself as I enjoy the soft feeling of Scootaloo's fur between my fingers.
I spend the next few minutes waiting to fall back to sleep. I don't stop stroking Scootaloo the whole time. Her fur was way too soft to stop. It felt amazing to stroke. After a few more minutes I start to yawn and my eyes start to feel heavy. I look down and a strong urge to kiss her forehead rushes through me.
'It's probably a sign of friendship or something. That must be why I keep wanting to do it.' I think to myself as I kiss Scootaloo's forehead.
I then close my eyes and relax as I fall into a restful sleep.
