Chapters The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
"So, hi Marc," Sunset said as they walked into school. "How was you're weekend."
"The norm," Marc said shrugging. "Word to the wise, though. Never, EVER challenge Sombra to a game of Injustice 2."
"Why?" Sci-Twi asked curiously.
"He'll wreck you," Marc said.
"Glad to finally see you admit that Marc." Said Sombra walking over. He wore Khakis and a black dress shirt and shoes, he spoke with his usual charming demeanor and British accent.
"N-nice t-to see you again, Sombra." Said a love-smitten Rarity.
Marc chuckled.
"What's so funny, boss?" Sombra asked blind too Rarity's affection.
"Nothing." Marc said."I just saw this coming a MILE away."
"Saw what?"Sombra began to say, then he glanced at Rarity, caught on, and his cheeks went Scarlett. "Miss Rarity, I'm flattered, but even though I like you as a friend, I'm dating Sugarcoat."
"O-oh." Rarity said disappointedly. "Wait, Sugarcoat?"
"Yes, Sugarcoat," Sombra answered bluntly.
Then the bell rung.
"Oh, I have to get to class," Sombra said. "Well, see ya."
Then Sombra walked down the hallway.
"Rare, that wouldn't have worked out anyway." Velvet Breeze said to Rarity."Would it Marc?"
"Why are ya asking me?" Marc asked.
"Aren't you omniscient, telepathic, and his boss." Velvet replied flatly.
"Oh, probably? I dunno, I got to get to Time Turner's class." Marc said before walking down the hall.
"Marc's right, we should get to class," Sunset said before they all went to their respective classes.
Sunset, Velvet, and Rainbow Dash went to Ms. Harshwinny. Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie to Mr. Discord. Fluttershy to Mr. Cranky Doodle Donkey. And Sci-Twi followed Marc.
Marc sat in class, waiting for the history teacher; Time Turner, to show up.
But he never did, instead came in an old man no older than sixty, he wore a blue dress coat and waistcoat with the top buttoned. He wore dark blue dress pants and black dress shoes there were partially covered by the long pant legs. His hair was gray and it was well kept. His skin was Caucasian and spoke with a British-Scottish accent.
"Alright, class." The mystery man said. "Time Turner's on vacation, so I'm your teacher. I'm Doctor, Uh, Peter, Peter Capaldi."
"I'm sorry, Doctor Who?" SandalWood asked.
"Yes." The Doctor answered upbeat."Names aside, what am I teaching you?"
"You mean you don't know?" Sci-Twi asked as she walked in and sat down at the desk to Marc's right.
"Well n-not entirely." The Doctor admitted reluctantly.
"History," Marc said. "Time Turner usually teaches us history."
"Oh, good." The Doctor said relieved. "For a second I thought I'd have to do bloody physics, God I hate physics."
Then he turned to the board and tried to write down the lesson of the day.
"WWII," Marc said, knowing that The Doctor did not know the lesson.
The Doctor looked at his book, seeing Marc was correct.
"Seems you're not a pudding brain like I thought." The Doctor admitted and went back to writing.
Outside.
Jim lake Jr. and his friends Toby Domzalski and Claire Núnez got off Jim's blue Vespa scooter.
Jim wore a light blue sweatshirt, blue sneakers, and blue jeans, he had well kept black hair and blue eyes.
Claire wore a dark purple jacket and purple skull shirt with gray pants and a blue skirt. She had black hair with a blue highlight streak and several hair clips keeping it in place.
Toby was a bit fat and short. He wore brown jeans with a black belt. He wore a red sweater vest and yellow shirt. He had brown hair and braces.
They all had caucasian skin.
"Well, this is the place," Claire said looking at the GPS on her phone.
"Looks like a cartoon," Toby said bluntly.
"Yeah, it does." Said a voice behind them. The trio turned to see Jack Darby, Miko Nakadai, and Raf Esquivel walking up the sidewalk, coming from a Bumblebee (hint, hint) styled Chevy.
Jack had spiky black hair and blue eyes. He wore a brown T-shirt and white under shirt with blue jeans and blue sneakers.
Miko had black hair with pink highlights. She wore a purple blouse with a little green robot on it with a lighter purple undershirt. She had small jeans and real pants that were in a horizontal blue purple pattern. She wore brown knee-high boots with pink laces.
Raf had spiky brown hair. He was shorter than his friends. He wore blue jeans and an orange sweater vest with a beige color shirt underneath. He had red square lensed glasses.
These three were also Caucasian.
"Hi, I'm Jack," Jack said, extending his hand to shake.
"Jim," Jim said shaking Jack's hand.
"I'm Toby."
"And I'm Claire."
"Raf." He said shaking Toby's hand.
"Miko." She said shaking Claire's hand.
"Shall we head in?" Jim asked them as he began walking to the school.
"Well, well," Tempest said from the other side of the road, walking to the school as she saw the 6 head in. "This should be fun."
"Well, I guess we should find the principal," Jack suggested.
"Fine," Miko said dryly.
"What's that about?" Jim asked Jack.
"Miko doesn't entirely like school," Jack answered.
"Ah," Jim said.
They made their way to Principal Celestia's office, they went to open the door, but they stopped when they heard talking.
In the office.
"You sure, Marc?" Celestia asked fearfully.
"When am I not?" Marc asked rhetorically.
"But, Doctor Who?" Luna asked in doubt. Ever since the rematch, she had made it a point to know what goes on when the Cinnigaran Civil war was brought up.
"And Trollhunters and Transformers Prime/RiD." Marc finished. "Celestia we NEED to contact Megatron and Strickler."
"Why?" Celestia asked.
"Cause we might battle Gumm-Gumms and Decepticons," Marc said slamming his fist on the desk, almost breaking it.
Then the door began to open, Marc, on instinct, quickly whipped out his pen.
When he saw the six new kids enter, he relaxed a little and began to fondle his pen.
"Hi, we are the new kids," Jack said in an upbeat tone, masking his worry.
"Welcome to CHS," Celestia said with a warm smile. "What are your names?"
They each introduced themselves separately, each name making Marc all the more stressed and fearful.
"Well, Marc," Celestia said to the young host. "Can you take them on a tour?"
"Alright." Marc said, almost without hesitation."C'mon."
They walked out and Marc began the tour.
Marc pointed out rooms as they walked passed them.
"That's the science lab, taught by Mr, Discord, the library, history class is usually taught by Time Turner, Mrs. Harshwinny's literature class, Ms. Cheerilee's math class, a quaint high school, very friendly if ya ask me," Marc said to the group.
"This place seems nice," Miko admitted.
"Yeah, very nice. But, miss Nadakai, do try to avoid detention." Marc said to the human wrecker.
Marc walked back to class.
"Seems their here to investigate the Golden Energy," Marc said to himself as he walked away. "Gorram, this is gonna be fun."
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
The Girls and Marc sat down sat down at their usual lunch table, the Girls got the school lunch, whereas Marc brought a home-packed lunch, it was a Batman thermos with apple juice in it and a PB and strawberry Jelly sandwich in an Avengers sandwich container.
"So," Marc said casually. "We got new kids."
"Really, what kind?" Sunset asked curiously.
"What do you mean by that?" Velvet asked.
"Well, so far there are 3 categories," Sunset said honestly. "Dazzlings, Velvet Breeze, and Typical new kid."
"What do I fall under?" Marc asked.
"Your a WHOLE new level, Marc," Sunset said.
"So four categories." Sci-Twi corrected.
"Heh, heh," Sunset said as the two locked eyes.
"This may seem awkward," Marc said pulling the two from their thoughts, "but are either of you two bi?"
"Marc!" Sunset snapped.
"No!" Sci-Twi snapped at Marc.
"Just a question," Marc said hastily. "Me, myself. I'm straight."
"Alright, this is getting weird," Rainbow said.
"Ya think?" Velvet asked sarcastically.
"Look, we're getting off track," Rarity said. "What category do these kids fall under, darling?"
"Velvet Breeze," Marc said.
"Oh, why mine?" The ex Assassin asked curiously.
"You'll see," Marc said mysteriously.
Then the new kids walked up and sat down at the free seats and introduced themselves.
'Hey, Velvet. ' Marc said telepathically.
'I hate it when you do that. ' Velvet thought. 'It's a breach of privacy .'
'Sorry, but can ya do something for me? ' Marc requested.
'What?' Velvet thought back.
'Can ya Eagle Vision the new kids? '
'Why can't you? ' Velvet asked frustrated.
'Numerous reasons, but numero uno is It would be a bit wonky and impaired. ' Marc thought back. 'And no, I can't get drunk, but I can feel drunk, the reason it's impaired 'cause I was chasing a lead about one of my enemies. '
'What happened ?' Velvet asked curiously.
'Apple of Eden messing with my head. ' Marc answered.
"Oh." Velvet said aloud.
"'Oh', what?" Jim asked.
"Nothing Young Atlas," Marc said shocking Jim, taking him from his current train of thought. Just as Marc planned.
"How....did you know that nickname?" Jim asked, choosing his words carefully.
"Just seems the weight of the world is in your shoulders," Marc said. "So, it only seemed fitting to call you that."
"So," Sci-Twi said trying to change the subject. "I finally watched that show you recommend on Netflix."
"Yeah, me too." Sunset said."What's it called again? Goblinslayers?"
"What? Do you mean Trollhunnters?" Marc asked.
"Yes. I really like Strickler." Sunset said.
"Me too, really cool villain, but I think it's sad that he and Jim are on opposing sides," Sci-Twi said.
"How far are ya?" Marc asked.
"Uh, Angor Rot's invasion of Trollmarket," Sunset said.
"Ah." Marc said. "Angor Management. "
"Yeah." Sci-Twi said."Poor Aaaarrrgghh, too bad he turned to stone."
"Holy shish kabob," Jim said shocked at what he heard.
"What is it, Jim?" Miko asked.
"Nothing." Jim lied.
"Oh, we also watched Transformers Prime," Sci-Twi said.
"How far?" Marc asked.
"Uh, The one with that giant ring thing on Cybertron," Sunset answered.
"Oh, fun one," Marc said.
"Yeah, but Megatron is evil, bringing in innocents like that," Sci-Twi said.
"Don't be so quick to judge me." Said a voice.
"Who was that?" Velvet asked.
"Ah, excuse me," Marc said, getting up and walking into the bathroom.
Once inside, he pulled out his phone and placed it flat on his palm. Then a hologram of Megatron appeared, he was crouched down and fighting with his blaster. "Agent Megatron."
"Milord," Megatron said.
"I assume you found the ore?" Marc asked.
"Indeed, pure, unrefined, Godanium ore," Megatron said, then he turned and fired some more shots.
"What's wrong?" Marc asked.
"Local Decepticon cells heard of my turn and have allied themselves with Nebulon."
"Damn, be careful," Marc said.
"Yes, Milord," Megatron said. "May the Light guide you."
"May the Light guide you," Marc responded and hung up.
Then Marc left the bathroom and returned to the lunch table.
"What was that?" Jim asked.
"Business," Marc said. "Strictly speaking, not yours."
"Geez, no need to be rude, Marc," Jack said.
"Sorry, I just have a few secrets I'd rather not share." Marc apologized.
"Hey, we all know how that feels," Raf admitted.
"Exactly," Claire confirmed.
"Anyways, we should go," Marc said. Then the bell rang, and they all got out to their last classes.
Outside the cafe. In Luna's office.
"So, your Vice Principal Luna?" Tempest Shadow asked. She was wearing black sneakers and a red blouse, over it, Tempest wore a leather jacket like Sunset's. Luna was wary when Tempest went into her office. Luna asked Celestia if the Fighters know of her.
And even though Celestia tried to find out, Marc locked high profile info with encryptions only members of the inner circle know to get passed.
But this only made Luna more worried.
"Yes," Luna said trying to hide her fear.
"That's good to know," Tempest said.
"How so?" Luna asked a little fearful.
"No reason," Tempest replied.
"Anyway, I guess for your schedule," Luna said getting an idea. "Homeroom and History with Time Turner, Reading with Mrs. Harshwhinny, Math with Ms. Cheerilee, Lunch, and Science with Mr. Discord, that sound good?"
"I guess," Tempest said shrugging.
"Good, dismissed," Luna said waving Tempest out.
"Guess I'll head to lunch," Tempest said casually.
In the cafe.
"Oh, shit," Marc said getting a splitting headache.
"Marc!!" Rarity exclaimed Marc’s swearing.
"What is it, Marc?" Sunset asked.
"A powerful, evil presence," Marc said. "One I have not felt since...."
"Since when?" Rainbow Dash asked.
Then the front twin doors opened to reveal.....
"Tempest Shadow," Marc said with a snarl.
"Uh, what's wrong, Marc?" Jack asked.
"Nothing." Marc lied, replacing the scow with his usual charming smile and went back to eating.
Tempest got her lunch and walked around, assessing where a suitable place to sit and study The Seven.
In the end, she decided to go to their table and sit down.
'Girls. ' Marc thought to the Mane 7 and Velvet Breeze, making them cringe a little. 'I'll space out a bit, stall and distract the new kids the best you can. '
Then as Tempest sat down, a strange feeling over sept her brain. Next thing she knew, she was in her armor and was standing in some sort of void.
It had 4 doors, each different in style.
"Memory doors." Tempest guessed. She turned her head and on the right side (she guessed, cause in a mind, there is no REAL solid direction,) she saw two giant white pillars holding up a golden platform that reads: "Marc's Mind Palace."
Tempest looked inside and saw long rows of bookshelves, she went inside and looked around, curious.
She heard someone walk up behind her and turned around to see who it was.
"Like what you see?" Marc asked scowling.
"I had a feeling this was your mind," Tempest said calmly, yet she was extremely angry.
"Yeah, the plaque outside gives it away," Marc said casually, trying to distract Tempest.
"Why, in The Nine Hells, did you bring me into your gorram MIND?!" Tempest asked in anger.
"Glad you know the limitations of being in someone else's Mind Palace," Marc said with an amused smile.
"Of course," Tempest said, remembering the two's first encounter, Marc did as well. "Why are you doing this?"
"Well, you're a part of a shadow cult and I'm a Fighter," Marc admitted.
Then everything went cold. And the bookshelves locked themselves behind glass.
"A bit overkill, doncha think?" Tempest asked, just a tad impressed.
"I dunno, one can't be too careful around one of the Horsemen." Marc spat in anger.
"Eh, not my fault your too week to use the shadow." Tempest countered.
"My respect and former feelings for you is the ONLY reason you still draw breath, Berrytwist!" Marc said in a calm fury."This, this is over."
Then Marc brought him and Tempest back to the waking world.
"Uh, what just happened?" Miko asked.
"Nunya," Marc said.
The bell rang and they all went to their final classes.
"Goodbye, Yang," Tempest said as her eyes went shadow black for a second.
The girls and Marc left, yet the new kids stayed.
"They're hiding something," Miko observed.
"Indeed." Said familiar a ghostly voice.
"What was that?" Jack asked.
"I dunno," Jim said.
Then the Amulet of Daylight started glowing and started floating out of Jim's pocket.
Then it landed on the floor and out of it came a ghost.
It was a male human with gray hair and a beard. He wore silver armor. He had blue eyes and a nice warm, wise face.
"Hello, Jim Lake. Jr." The man said in a voice Jim new well.
"Merlin?" Jim asked.
"Nice to see you too," Merlin answered.
"Oh, Scrap!" Jack said, catching the wizard's attention.
"Ah, the teenagers from Team Prime," Merlin said.
"Yo, ghost dude knows us," Miko said impressed.
"Indeed, ms. Nadakai."Merlin said. "Primus speaks highly of you three."
"Wait, you know Primus?" Raf asked shocked.
"Indeed," Merlin revealed.
"Whoa." Everyone from team Prime said.
"That seriously epic," Miko said.
"I'm only here to tell you this; I'm not sure if you can trust Marc with your lives, but be wary of Tempest Shadow," Merlin stated. Then his spirit went back into the amulet, leaving everyone with many questions.
After the Trollhunters explained themselves, the Team Prime teens did as well.
"Whoa." Everyone said impressed by each other's backstories.
"Well," Jim said. "Since we're both after the Golden Energy, we should team up."
"I'm down for that," Jack admitted.
"Good, let's go," Jim said as they walked out of the cafe.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Marc walked down the stone steps at the entrance. School just let out, but Marc had to get his journal back. He requested the girls wait for him.
"Hey, Marc." Velvet said as Marc walked up to the Wonder colt statue where they were waiting.
"Hello."Marc said.
"You get your man-purse?" Rainbow Dash asked slightly bored.
"Satchel." Marc corrected dryly.
"Whatever." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Hey AJ." Marc asked the cowgirl.
"What is it Marc?" Applejack asked.
"Can the us and the new kid have a slumber party at your house?" Marc asked.
"Ah don't see why not?" Applejack replied. "'Less they have enemies of there own like ya."
"I doubt it."Marc said.
"Okay." Applejack agreed.
"Hey, Jack." Marc said seeing him, Raf, Miko and the Trollhunters walk over.
"Hey, Marc." Jack greeted. "What's up?"
"Eh, not much, but I have something to ask." Marc said.
"What is it?" Jack asked.
"Wanna have a sleepover at AJ's?" Marc asked.
"Sounds fun." Jack admitted.
"Cool, I like your Chevrolet." Marc said pointing to the car.
"Thanks." Jack said.
"Can we have a ride to AJ's?" Marc asked.
"I'm not sure that's a good idea." Jack said.
Then the car started beeping wildly.
"What was that?" Velvet asked.
"Nothing." Jack said. "Raf?"
"Bee says it's alright to take them on a ride." Raf translated the honks.
"You know what, come on in." Jack said.
"Shotgun!" Marc said with Rainbow Dash saying it a second late.
"Dang it." Rainbow said defeated as they got in.
The Trollhunters followed on Jim's teal motor-scooter
On the bridge of the Decepticon flag ship Nemesis.
"Lord Starscream" Said a Vehicon Wheeler. His head was silver with a red visor for an eye. His body was purple and robotic, his shoulders and the heels of his feet had wheels in them. He had three metal sharp silver fingers connected to a silver metal hand.
"Yes?" Said a bored Starscream. He was a robot as well. His body was red save for the yellow cockpit on his chest. His back had four wings on it and each one had a painted red line on the edges. His head was black and the face grey, he had red eyes. His fore arms and legs were blue. The upper parts of his arms and legs were grey like his face.
"We know where BumbleBee is." The Vehicon said. "A place called Canterlot city."
"Then go to the insect populated city and end him." Starscream ordered. "And bring two others back up.”
"Yes lord Starscream." Said the Vehicon. He transformed and rolled out.
"Vehicons." Starscream muttered. Then he turned to the commlink and started speaking into it. "Starscream to lab."
"What is it? " Asked the annoyed voice of Shockwave.
"How goes our......side project?" Starscream asked.
"Quite well, even with the less than adequate equipment you have given me. " Shockwave replied.
"Good, good." Starscream said as he hung up.
"Nice." Marc admitted while they where driving along the road.
"Thanks." Jack admitted. "But he's a friends. I prefer motorcycles."
"Hmmm." Marc said. "Cool."
"Uh oh." Sci-Twi whispered to the girls. "Marc's getting all mysterious and inquisitive again."
"Last time he did that was to me." Velvet whispered back.
"What are you girls talking about?" Miko asked.
Then behind them; a swirling green blue portal opened. Catching everyones attention.
"Scrap, Ground bridge." Marc said.
Out of it came three identical purple and black sports cars. The Jack floored the pedal and Jim went full throttle.
The cars drove after the Chevy and scooter.
"Drive to Everfree road!" Marc ordered. "I have a plan."
"I don't know where that is!" Jack yelled.
"Then let me drive." Marc ordered as they made a sharp turn.
"What?!" Jack asked as he kept driving. "I don't thi-"
"Let. Me. DRIVE." Marc ordered with a will and fury that Jack'a never seen before.
Jack caved in and unbuckled himself. Then sat back and scooted over to let Marc take the wheel.
"Now." Marc said taking out his cell phone and kept it in one hand as he put the other on the wheel and continued to drive. "Let's have some fun BumbleBee."
Then what happened next shock the girls a little, a voice came from inside-wait not inside-from the car.
"How do you know who I am?" The car asked.
"I'll explain later, right now, I'll try not to ruin your paint job." Marc replied .
"Alright." BumbleBee caved in, for some reason, Marc reminded BumbleBee of Optimus.
"Good." Marc said taking the phone to his ear as he drove. "Bucket Head. Get your Transformium Ass over here! We are being chased by Vehicons and I'm 95% sure Screamy sent them, we are currently on Everfree road."
"Alright, a little underwhelming, but I’m on my way. " A familiar voice said on the other side of the phone.
"Who was that?" Jim asked.
"A friend." Marc answered. "One you all will meet soon."
Then the subtle sound of jet engine was heard overhead.
"Where's that coming from?" BumbleBee asked.
"There!" Miko said pointing to a hellish, rock-like jet was seen over head.
Then it flew over the car and flipped. The jet made a strange noise as the back part of the jet split, revealing two, gray bulkish arms. Then the front split into two legs. A head protruded from the shoulders.
It was some sort of giant robot. It's shoulders had three spiked on each side. It's face was gray. It had two glowing purple eyes. It's hands and forearms were covered by two beige gauntlets, it's lower legs were boot like ahd made of the same substance. It's chest shared the same colored armor as the hands and boots.
Then the cars, "Transformed" into Vehicons.
"Lord Megatron."The leader, Steve the Vehicon, said. "Lord Starscream said you were dead."
"Is that the lie he came up with so he can rule the Decepticons?" Megatron asked amused.
"Yes." Said Gary, the one seen on Steve's right. "Do you wish to rejoin?"
"Hmmm." Megatron thought sarcastically. Then he raised his right arm and made a Dark Energon fusion canon. "No. I have lost my taste for evil."
Then he fired the fusion canon and shot the three Vehicons in the chest. Killing them.
"Marc." Megatron said as his canon evaporated.
"Megs." Marc said poking his head out the window.
"Mr. Darby." Megatron said, noticing the humans. “And friends.”
"Megatron." Jack said with a scowl.
"Well, I best be off." Megatron said, hoping to keep things short. Then he transformed and flew off.
Then Marc turned the car around and went along the original route again.
After five minutes, BumbleBee finally talked to Marc.
"How do you know him?” BumbleBee asked.
“We met once, he crashed in my yard, at first I was fearful, then I fixed best I could and directed him to pros that could help better.” Marc answered.
“And he didn’t kill you?” Jack asked in disbelief.
“No, no he didn’t, a part of me is still curious about that.” Marc answered.
‘Good, you only told half the truth.’ Nebulon said to Marc.
‘A part of me regrets that Neb, greatly.’ Marc thought back as he drove along the road.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Marc gracefully and swiftly parked BumbleBee as Jim parked the scooter.
“Alrighty Bee.” Marc said as everyone got out. “Stay here, and only act if there are Cybertronian threats. Any thing else, I can handle.”
“Alright.” BumbleBee said. Then he decided to powered down for a bit.
"That was interesting, to say the least." Jim said to his friends.
"Agreed." Jack said. "I don't know why, but, Marc is strange, to say the least."
"Agreed." Claire observed. "Yet he seems to have a deeper secret."
"Ya think?" Miko asked. "He has Bucket Head's phone number."
"He's not telling us everything, otherwise, if he was a normal teen, he wouldn't have the attention and/or trust of Merlin." Jim stated."Merlin !"
“Ahem.” Marc said catching the groups attention. “We’re at the door.”
He went to knock, but the door handle turned, Marc, on instinct, whipped out his pen.
The door knob turned slowly.
Then the door opened. Out of the door walked out.......
"Tempest Shadow?" Applejack asked.
"Yes?" Tempest asked.
"What are ya doin' here?" Applejack asked.
"Tutoring Apple Bloom." Tempest answered truthfully.
"Which subject?" Applejack asked curious.
"Chemistry." Tempest answered.
"Hmmm." Marc said giving Tempest an eyebrow.
"Well I gotta go." Tempest said walking out of the doorway.
Marc muttered a warning in Cinnigaran to Tempest.
Then Tempest replied in Cinnigaran.
"What was that about?" Jack asked Velvet.
"Not sure." Velvet answered truthfully.
They all walked inside.
"Hey, Apple Bloom." Marc said to Applejack's little sister sitting in the living room of the farmhouse.
Apple Bloom had light yellow skin and wore a big red bow on her red hair, she wore a light green shirt and blue jeans. She had orange eyes and wore light orange boots. Quite the cute Cowgirl.
"Hey Marc." Apple Bloom said.
"Hey Apple Bloom, why didn't ya tell me ya need a tutor?" Applejack asked.
"It's fine, you wanna do somethin' tagether?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Naht right now, me and mah friends are gonna 'ave a slumber party." Applejack said disappointing the young farm girl.
"Aww, alright, see ya then, Piggly Wiggly." Apple Bloom said earning a shocked look from Marc and murmurs of confusion from the other guests as she went to her room.
In AJ's bedroom.
Everyone was just hanging out. The Trollhunters and Prime Teens were mingling with the girls.
Marc looked at AJ's gaming consoles. One was a Wii and the other was an Xbox one.
"Most impressive." Marc admitted.
"Thank ya kindly, Marc." Applejack said.
"Hey, I got some cool games for us to play." Marc said grabbing his backpack and getting something from it.
"What games?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Well first, Watch_Dogs." Marc said grabbing out the game. The cover had a man in a brown coat and dark baseball cap. His face was covered by a scarf that had some sort of logo on it.
"Hey, that guy on the cover kinda looks like Mr. Pierce." Pinkie said, pointing out the man on the cover.
"That's Aiden Pierce; Hacker vigilante of Chicago." Marc stated. "But good point, they are ALOT a like(in more ways than one)."
Then he pulled out several other games and pointed them out. "Assassin's Creed, the story Arabian master Assassin of Altair and his race for the Apple of Eden. Assassin's Creed II, the story of Ezio and his search for vengance. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, still Ezio and (I think) him starting an Italian bureu. Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio searches for the Apple of Eden that Altair stored in the library of Masyaf castle.
to name a few."
Then he pulled out the rest AC III, AC Rogue, AC IV Blackflag, AC Unity, AC Syndicate, and one more.
"And now, last but certainly not least, the story of how the Creed came to be, the story of Bayek, the first of the Hidden Ones, later to be called the Assassins Brotherhood, behold, Assassin's Creed Origins!" Marc stated pulling it out.
Velvet Breeze, was, shocked, for lack of better word.
"So." Marc said. "Who wants to play first and which game?"
At least an hour later. Every one had pyjamas on.
Rarity, Sunset and AJ were on the bed as AJ got her nails done by Rarity(after much insistance). Marc was reading H.G Wells' The Time Machine . Everyone else was either chatting or taking turns playing the video games Marc brought.
"Dang it!" Rainbow Dash said as she desynced (again) because the character was killed by Al Mualim, the Assassin Mentor that went evil for the Apple of Eden. "Velvet, you wanna go?"
"Why not?" Velvet said, seemingly used to the games now. "But Marc?"
"Oui?" Marc said looking up from his book.
"Why did the Assassins cut off their ring fingers to use the wrist blades?" Velvet asked slightly grossed out by it.
"Two reasons, one, it was a ritual that all recruits did to prove their loyalty," Marc answered.
"And two?" Applejack asked.
"Bayek accidentally cut off his ring finger when he first used it and thus it became an indoctrination ritual." Marc stated. "But, that problem was fixed by Leonardo Da Vici for Ezio's Beurue."
"Oh, cool." Velvet said.
"Wait, THE Leonardo Da Vinci?" Sci-Twi asked.
"Yes, a cool part about these games is you meet or are friends with historical characters." Marc stated. "Any way AJ, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, shoot." Applejack said.
"Okay, why did Apple Bloom call you that nickname?" Marc asked. "Piggly Wiggly?"
"Well when ah was just a young 'un, I used to follow Granny Smith 'round durin' her chores. Ah used to play round in the pig pen alot, so, the nickname just stuck." Applejack explained, slightky shocking Marc.
"Oh, if it makes you feel better, my Mom calls me bugaboo sometimes." Marc admitted.
"Why's that?" Velvet asked.
"That's just how mothers are." Marc said shrugging.
"Hmm, I guess." Velvet said.
"Sorry." Marc said noticing her sadness.
"It's alright, I'm tough, I'll be fine." Velvet reassured.
"On a less sad note." Rainbow Dash said trying to lighten the mood. "I like....your.......video games........Marc?"
Believe it or not. She nailed it.
"Thanks." Marc said, beaming.
Marc was tossing and turning in his sleep. Then he woke with a start.
Marc's body shot up. Marc looked round and saw it was still dark out, he glanced at his watch.
'Uh, 12:13? Maybe some cider will help me since I don't have any sleeping pills.' Marc thought.
'Oh, sure, try to get drunk, remember Teenax?' Nebulass said to Marc.
'How could I forget?' Marc thought as he remembered the dark day and rubbed his left bicep.
Then he got up and tip toed over various guest resting in sleeping bags. But he tripped on Sunset and Sci-Twi and almost fell on them. But then he shifted his wait and did the famous Michael Jackson lean. He always had moves that could match the King of Pop, Freedom Fighter training went along a little better and swifter because of this.
Then he got back up right and walked over them.
"And That's how you Beat It in the more Thriller moments like quite the Bad Smooth Criminal ." Marc punned earning a long groan from Nebulass.
Then he walked down to the kitchen humming Smooth Criminal .
Marc opened the fridge and looked for a heavy beverage, even though he's underage, this isn't the first time he's tasted alcohol. In fact, that's how he met 3 strange singers from the court of Dawn Saber.
He lied when he said he doesn't get drunk, in fact, he's on the razor's edge of light wait. He just doesn't get hangovers from it.
He pulled out a bottle of some hard cider. He sat down at the table and opened it, and took a swig.
"Not as good as rum." Marc said licking his lips."But it's good enough."
"Y'know, Marc, aren't you a little too young to drink?" A familiar voice said.
"Sunset, Velvet, Sci-Twi." Marc said barely surprised. "And yes, yes I am, I'm thirteen to be specific."
"Wait, a thirteen year old God?" Sci-Twi asked shocked.
"Well host, but yes." Marc shrugged taking another swig.
The trio was more than a little shocked.
"Host?" Velvet asked.
"Yes, I'm the host for Nebulass, not Nebulass himself." Marc stated.
"Marc." Nebulass said. "Tread carefully."
"Why Neb?" Marc said pissed off and slightly drunk. "Why should I? Because of you being a coward I lost my family! So, why should I keep lying, besides, this is Velvet Breeze, the Phoenix Warrior and a prodigy with a great future! So why shouldn't they get the full story, of Cinnigara, of you, of that black robed, half-mask wearing bastard of a bitch of a God, of me?!"
Nebulass had nothing to say at this.
The trio was shocked and slightly afraid after what they heard.
"Who are you talking too?" Velvet asked.
"Nebulass, he lives in my head, it's slightly annoying." Marc stated bluntly as he took another swig.
"Y-you, lost your family?" Sci-Twi asked.
"Yes, Yes I did, Nebulon kidnapped my parents and brother as bargaining chips to get my power." Marc stated taking another swig, then he continued. "I wasn't always the hardened, cold, tactical warrior and wizard you see before you. I had my younger brother, my Mother, and my Father. But Nebulon, he took them at least a year after I joined the Fighters as either bargaining chips or torture toys. The've been his prisoners for a few months now. And I've lost almost all hope of finding them. All I can do is kill every single cruel Blighter or Demon I find and send them to Satan myself."
"Nebulon is a monster, he's worse than Sombra ever was it seems." Velvet said.
"Well, like Sombra, he wasn't always a Monster ." Marc said taking a swig. "Once, he was as kind and gentle as Fluttershy, as fun loving as Pinkie, as honest as Applejack, as smart as Sci-Twi, as empathetic as Sunset Shimmer. But, one day, he went into the forbidden vault of Cinnigara's high palace. When he went in there, he found Dakar's armory, Dakar is the Dark side of the Aether itself, to answer your next question and once ruled with my mother Lighteem, the Light." Nebulass said."In there he found a shard of Dakar's helmet and it bonded itself to the skin of his face. It seems a shard of Dakar still resides in the shard. It corrupted Nebulon's mind and soul, Sunset Shimmer saw the rest when she found my half-sister, Necarina. i'm sorry it took this way for you to find out. But do not tell the others, this is a tad personal for us." Marc finished as he drained the bottle. "I'll never forget the vow I made for them."
"Okay." Sunset said.
"Thank You." I said.
Marc P.O.V
"Marc!" Screamed my Mom as she and my family were carried away by the demon king Grimstone.
"No!" I screamed breaking the sword lock between me and Nebulon, I tried to get my parents anyway I could, but they already went through a Boom Tube, I turned to see Nebulon, but he got away as well. I was, broken, my family taken, I took a moment to cry, but through my sobs, I made a vow. A vow to never give up, to rescue my parents and keep them safe. And to kill Nebulon
"There's still one thing I'm unclear on." Velvet said.
"Why am I in not in middle school instead of high school?" Marc asked.
"Yes." Velvet said.
"It's part of my cover, after I was found out at my school, I had to relocate. But I went on a search for my family." Marc explained. "But after I was sucked into the Age of Kings. My world was somehow merged to yours and I was sent to CHS after a while to stop the Council of Shadow."
"Oh." Velvet said.
"How bout we head back up?" Sci-Twi suggested.
They all nodded and went back up.

A Glimpse Into The Life Of A Freedom Fighter.(Edited)
The next day, everyone woke up early on account of the fact they had to get to school. The Hunters and Team Prime Teens got to school early so that they can let the Girls do whatever they need.
Though, last night left Velvet, Sunset, and Sci-Twi more than rattled.
Yet Marc acted as if nothing happened. His face painted with his warm, charming smile. It was creepy as Hell.
Yet, even though Marc told them not tell the Girls of his past, Sunset, Velvet, and Sci-Twi decided to tell them his age, they waited for him to be in the bathroom to get dressed to tell the Girls.
"Hey, girls." Sunset said catching the attention of everyone in the room. "I have to tell you something bout Marc."
"What is it Sugar cube?" Applejack asked.
"You see, we saw Marc last night after you all were asleep." Velvet said.
"You, might not believe what we tell you." Sci-Twi stated.
So Sunset stated what happened last night, leaving out the bit about his past per his request.
After Sunset finished, the Girls couldn't believe what they heard.
"So, Marc's a Freshman?" Rainbow asked.
"Apparently." Velvet said.
"Wait, why was he drinking mah cider?" Applejack asked.
"I dunno." Sunset said.
"This explains SO much." Pinkie said.
"How so darling?" Rarity asked.
"Well, I noticed that aside from history with Time Turner, we never see Marc in classes." Pinkie explained.
"Yeah, now that ah really think 'bout it, it makes a whole lotta sense." Applejack said.
Their conversation was cut short with the sound of the bathroom door opening and familiar footsteps walking down the hall. Those steps belonging to the 13 year old deity's host have never before had such an air of fear and worry connected to them.
"Hi." Marc said casually.
"Hi ya Marc." Applejack said awkwardly.
"Hi AJ, how are you all after this revelation?" Marc asked.
"W-what do you mean by that?" Asked a worried Fluttershy.
"You know, that my dimension has a completely different version of the Assassin/Templar secret war, and on top of that, it's a video game that's a result of energy from another dimension leaking into mine as flashes as "inspiration." Pretty rattling I'd imagine, specifically for the Ex-Assassin present." Marc stated, seemingly oblivious to what Sunset just did. Then he walked to where his trench coat is hung up.
"Uh, yeah, It's pretty weird, but I'll get used it." Velvet reassured.
"Good, good." Marc said distractedly while putting his coat on.
"Ugh, Marc, why do you insist on wearing that awful coat?" Rarity asked.
"Sentiment." Marc stated bluntly. "Lord-Grand-Admiral Worthington gave it to me when he tried to hire me for the FFIA."
"FFIA?" Sci-Twi asked.
"Freedom Fighter Imperial Alliance." Marc explained buttoning his trench coat. Then he put on his baseball cap.
"Where are you going, Marc?" Applejack asked.
"Recon for the Fighters." Marc explained. "Don't wait up, I'll meet you at school."
Then Marc opened the door and walked out.
"Well, we better get to school, too." Rainbow Dash said.
Marc walked out the house and down the driveway.
Bee noticed Marc walking along.
"What are you doing Marc?" BumbleBee asked.
"Business." Marc said whipping out his cell phone. It was the latest LG Galaxy phone. It had a blue rubber casing to protect it. Aside from that, it looked normal. It was actually jailbroken by Pierce Network. It also was a Freedom Fighter gadget with several modifications that shouldn't even exist on any Earth.
He pressed an app on his phone and soon a swirling green portal opened in front of him, out of it came a blue Sayonara motorcycle.
Marc turned to Bee, who, if he was transformed, would have a look of shock on his robotic face.
Then Marc got on the motorcycle and drove off.
Marc drove into the city area of Canterlot. The roar of the bike flooding his ears.
Marc's contact said to meet him in a Taco Bell.
"Taco Belle, Sonata always lover tacos. Ever since I made her one." Marc said in nostalgia.
Middle Ages. Ancient Canterlot.
Marc P.O.V
I was in the castle kitchen experimenting with some beef for my lunch, I had some bread I was fashioning into a taco shell.
For some reason, I was craving Mexican food.
Next thing I new, the blue skinned Muse of King Dawn Saber walked in.
"Hi, Sparky." Sonata said using a nickname the Sirens gave me based off my false name.
"Hi, Sonata." I said smiling to her. "How's my favorite Muse."
"I'm good, I just got back from the knighting ceremony for Emerald Edge. Or Lady Emerald now, I guess." Sonata said.
"Good on her, I actually met her descendant once." I said as I sprinkled some shredded cheese on my taco I just finished cooking.
"Cool, what is that?" Sonata asked noticing the meal on my plate.
"A taco, it's a good food from my time." I explained. "Wanna try it?"
"I dunno, eh, why not?" Sonata said. Then she took one of my two tacos and took a bite.
Sonata's face looked pleased, she savored the taste of the taco. She then gobbled down the rest.
"Like it?" I asked.
"Yes." Sonata said. "Wanna sit down and, just, talk?"
"Why not?" I asked rhetorically.
Marc's memory ended as he parked in the Taco Belle driveway.
He got off the bike and walked in, pulling his baseball cap over his face to cover himself from the camera at the door.
Marc looked around for his contact. Instead he saw a girl at the counter, she was wearing a Taco Bell uniform. Yet there was no mistaking her face. Even without her pendant.
Marc went to walk over to her, but then he noticed his contact.
It was a man with black well kept hair. He had gold eyes and Caucasian skin that, if you looked at it at a certain angle, glowed gold in the sunlight. He was wearing blue jeans, black dress shoes, and a brown trench coat. He was drinking a large cherry coke.
Marc walked over to the man and sat down.
"Admiral." Marc said to the man.
"No need to be so formal, Marc." Said the man. His voice was wise and calm, he spoke in a British accent.
"Sorry, James." Marc said to the man. "You know how I am."
"Yes, I do, how are you?" James asked.
"Look, Worthy, what's the hit?" Marc asked slightly annoyed because he might miss school.
"HYDRA encampment in the city." James Worthington said, getting into work mode.
"HYDRA?" Marc asked. "What do they have that interests the FFIA?"
"The Sarcoughagus of Light." Worthington said shocking both Marc and Nebulass alike.
"As in the Sarcoughagus that has Nebulass' body in it?!" Marc asked.
Worthington nodded darkly.
"Alright, I'll go, who's leading the HYDRA op?" Marc asked.
"Wolfgang." James said shocking Marc again. And slightly confusing him.
"As in the 'Plar merc or the monocle guy?" Marc asked.
"Monocle." Worthington explained dryly.
"Got it." Marc said.
"I have a new toy for you." Worthington said.
"What is it?" Marc asked.
Then he handed Marc a dark oak box.
Marc opened the box to see what's inside.
"The new FFIA Walther PPK." Marc stated. "It can use bullets AND lasers."
"Keep it." Worthington said.
"Thank you, but I'm keeping my other as well if it's alright." Marc said.
Then he got up and walked out.
Marc was driving to an abandoned warehouse. He parked his bike in an ally on the other side of the street a good distance from the warehouse.
Then he punched his arm upward and flicked his wrist. Then his hidden blade made a clicking noise and his blade shot out of it's sheath tied to a rope. The grapple blade impaled itself in a wall.
Marc pulled on it a bit to make sure it's stable. Seeing it was, he flicked his wrist again and the blade retracted rapidly pulling him up.
Once Marc was on the roof, he went to the edge and pulled out binoculars.
He looked down at the warehouse and saw solders wearing dark jackets and motorcycle helmets, they all wore green arm bands with a skull with six tentacles sprouting from the bottom. There was no mistaking the uniform.
"Dragon Unit? I thought they all died with the Templars in the events of the Bloodlines stories. Still, scheisse ." Marc said to himself.
Then he zoomed in and looked into the warehouse interior through a broken window.
There were two cranes with several wood platforms that held crates on them. There was several other crates with SMG assault rifles in them.
In the building was also more solders, but there was also two men.
One had long black hair pulled back and a black beard and gray skin, his eyes were brown. He had a broad muscular build and a pale scar running down diagonally his face. He wore a long lapless dark-blue coat with red stripes running down vertically the center of his jacket. He wore black gloves and boots.
"Savage Fury?" Marc asked himself. He only met the warlord once, centuries ago in Dawn Saber's reign, tried to kill Queen Sunlight Radiance, Marc, of course stopped him. Savage is most wanted FFIA fugitive number 2.
There was another another man talking to him. This man had blue eyes and Caucasian skin. He was bald and had several scars on his face. His right eye had a monocle that had a gold frame with a red lens. He wore a black Nazi uniform with the same arm band on his left arm that was donned by the Dragon Unit solders.
"And Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker." Marc said to himself.
"Hey, you!" Said a gruff voice behind Marc.
Marc turned around and got up.
A Dragon Unit solder had an SMG assault rifle pointed at Marc's head.
"Hello, I'm sorry, I was practicing some parkour and I took a quick brake." Marc lied smiling.
"Uh huh." The solder said in disbelief, then he took out his walkie-talkie and started talking into it. "This is Long Shot, we got an intruder."
Then Marc sighed and charged. He unfurled his hidden blades.
Marc quickly stabbed the man, Long Shot, in his neck. The blade buried itself deep in his flesh. The body crumpled on the ground.
Then Marc pressed a button on his watch and scanned the uniform. Then, using some clever holographics, his trench coat was turned into the Dragon Unit uniform.
"Now for the final touch." Marc said tasking off the man's helmet. "You don't mind, do you? Nah, yer dead, you can't mind. Well, Allons-y."
Then Marc picket up the assault rifle and walked around the edge, he looked around for a fire escape. He saw one on the left side the building. As he walked over, Long Shot's walkie-talkie started crackling.
"Long Shot, Long Shot you there? We heard about an intruder. " Said a voice from the other side of the walkie-talkie.
Marc walked over to the walkie-talkie and picked it up.
"All's good here, small problem, some stupid gangbanger got curious, I shut him up though." Marc said mimicing Long Shot's gruff voice like a Changeling. "How are you?"
The last question earned a long pause from the other end.
"I'm good. Thank's for asking. Oh, The other reason I called though is too tell you that the Baron's calling the troops back, we're about to open the Sarcophagus. " Said the voice.
"Over, I'm heading back now." Marc said, then he turned off the walkie-talkie and started thinking to Nebulass. 'Nebulass, I know I can't use the sword, but can you let me use magic?'
"I see no harm in a little wizardry, but I can't give you the whole reality manipulation nor the Golden Energy from the Aether." Nebulass warned. "But, there is one other card we have; our Inhuman abilities."
'Alright, so, to recap, Class 10 telepathy, telekinesis, and technopathy, cyberpathy, and electrokinesis?' Marc asked.
"And with me, it bumps to class 40, but yes." Nebulass confirmed.
'Alrighty. Allons-y! ' Marc thought.
Marc walked towards the entrance of the building. Holding the assault rifle in his hands.
Marc walked past two guards in front of the entrance and looked around. At least six guards on the ground. Two on the alter with Strucker and Savage. Four patrolling the scaffolding above in the rafters. And two a the entrance. And all of them were elite Dragon Unit.
This will be difficult. For both Marc and the enemy forces.
At the alter.
"Do you have it?" Asked Savage Fury, his voice sounded like Casper Crump who plays his counterpart in Legends Of Tomorrow.
"Nein , it's still in zhe Sarcophagus of Light." Said Strucker who sounded like Jim Ward from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes with a German accent.
"Then open the damned thing and hold up you end of our bargain." Savage said.
"Alright." Strucker said. "Bring it in, men!"
Then four of the six men walked away.
They came back carrying a large rectangular box. It was made of Golden Godanium, so they had to use anti-gravity handles that make it lighter.
They put it down allowing to get Marc a better look at it. It had blue sapphires and gold diamonds in a pattern of Sapphire Diamond repeating around the Sarcoughagous. On the top of the Sarcophagus was Cinnigaran writing and a carving depicting the Sword of Light and the Yang symbol.
"Zhe Sarcoughagous of Light." Strucker said for his men who didn't know what it is.
"Open it." Savage ordered not wanting to waste time.
Strucker nodded too his two men standing with him. Then they grabbed nearby crowbars and walked toward the Sarcoghagous of Light.
They placed their crowbar in chinks in the lid and pushed down hard with all their might. Eventually it gave way. Then they took out their crowbars and pushed the lid until it was completely off of the Sarcophagus.
In it was several jewels and weapons. But, what was of interest was the body in it, the perfectly preserved body.
It was a Caucasian male that looked like he was in his late thirties. He had gold eyes, hair, and goatee. His skin had an etherial glow to it. He was wearing golden armor with blue nexo under armor. He wore a gold helmet that had a small gold fin at least two inches tall and two centimeters thick.
It was the body of Nebulass, the first Nebulass.
"Damnit." Marc said.
Savage walked over to the body and picked up a green stone with an orange frame surrounding the edge.
"The Chronostone." Marc said whispering too himself. "I thought it was only a myth. Guess not."
"With this stone, I will go back to World War II and replace Hitler as Führer of Germany, and win us the war, and not only ensure HYDRA as the dominant power, but all of Germany. HAIL HYDRA!!."
Then the Dragon Unit solders all raised their arms and repeated the oath like true Hydra agents."HAIL HYDRA! HAIL HYDRA! HAIL HYDRA!"
'They adjusted quickly to Hydra.' Marc thought to himself. 'Were they brainwashed, or is the pay just that good?'
" We should move....now." Nebulass advised.
"Allons-y." Marc said smiling under the motorcycle helmet.
Then he fired his gun at the men in the rafters, killing each of them with a single head shot each. But his luck ran short.
The rest of the men shot at Marc, but using his telekinesis he stopped the bullets in their tracks just before they could hit him.
Then he turned the bullets around and pushed his hand forward and the bullets shot towards the solders that shot at him.
Then using his technopathy he made the crane nearby drop it's crates on various men, crushing them with their weight.
Then more men came to reinforce, the were wearing green jumpsuits and yellow gloves and with a yellow H on the shirt of the suit. They wore green masks with red lenses covering the solder's eyes.
"HYDRA agents." Marc said, then he noticed the guns. "And Arnim Zola's Tesseract powered HYDRA Assault Rifles."
"Kill zhat Yankee!" Strucker ordered.
Then the agents pulled the triggers on the rifles and shot at Marc. But instead of bullets, the rifles shot out blue bolts of energy that can vaporize you in one shot. And because they are Tesseract lasers, Marc can't use his powers on them. So, he did the next best thing.
Marc dived to the side and went behind a nearby crate.
The shots continued for a while. Eventually, Marc took out his new Walther PPK and--wait, where are the remaining Dragon Unit?
Marc realized this oddity a few seconds to late. The remaining five flanked the crates and shot at him.
Marc did his best to compensate by putting up a telekinetic shield, but bullets got through. They hit Marc and made him curse. Without Nebulass' regenerating powers, he was a sitting duck. But, Marc was a clever duck.
"Oh, just for that, you're gonna die." Marc said pissed off. Marc pit the shield down and shot at the solders with his Walther.
By some luck, he either wounded severely or killed all men.
Marc took his mag out to see how many bullets he has.
"That'll be enough." Marc said to himself. Then he got up from his cover and aimed his Walther, he was bleeding gold ichor and red blood, he was getting a rush from the adrenaline rushing through him. Yet he felt in pain, but that happens when you get shot. "Bwah sumbitches."
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Marc shot off several shots at the HYDRA agents.
By some luck, each bullet hit it's mark.
As the bullets flew, Savage ran off out of a back entrance.
"Yeah! That's how ya do it Joss Whedon's Firefly stile you cut rate Hive cultists!" Marc cheered at his victory. Then he turned to the alter to face Strucker, but for some reason he pulled out a maroon floral bonnet. "Now, you'll tell me what you are doing with that sarcoughagus, but, if I see you're hands touch metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you."
"Who the Hell are you?" Asked an annoyed Strucker.
"I dunno." Marc said, then he noticed Savage was gone. "Where's Savage Fury?"
"Beyond your reach by now." Strucker said grinning.
"Alright, I don't have time for this." Marc said annoyed. Then he shot Strucker in his left shoulder.
At this, Strucker cursed in German. Marc walked over to the cursing Strucker and punched him very hard in the face, knocking him out.
"Now, to get the Sarcoughagus to somewhere safe." Marc said to himself. He walked to the Sarcoughagous and put a Freedom Fighter beacon on it. He also replaced the lid on it.
"Marc to Infinite , one item to beam up." Marc said speaking into his watch.
Then the Sarcoughagus was surrounded by a golden aura and dematerialized.
Marc did a quick healing spell to heal his wounds, then he looked at his watch to check the time.
"Luh-suh, it's 7:55! Five minutes till first bell!" Marc complained. "Go-se, go-se, go-se !"
Marc ran out the door to his bike, he turned off his holo-disguise and got on his bike.
He drives as fast as he could to CHS, but on his way, he saw three girls entering an apartment complex. One Orange skinned. One purple skinned. One blue skinned.
"Hmmm." Marc thought to himself as he passed them.
But, Marc would have to think more on this later, because he went full throttle and used his FFIA rocket booster on his bike to get go CHS quicker.
Soon enough he got there on time.
He walked into the school.
7:56
He put his coat and motorcycle helmet in his locker and pulled out his books and satchel.
7:58
He ran to his class, but ran into Derpy, causing her to drop her own things.
Marc helped her pick up her stuff. Then he looked back at her and yelled."Sorry Derpy!"
8:00
RING
Marc sat down at his desk as The Doctor began the class.
"Hi, I'm here." Marc said.
"Nice trench coat." The Doctor said.
"Thank you, though, Rarity may disagree." Marc replied.
The Doctor stated what page in which books to turn to as he started the lesson.
"Hey, Marc. where were you, I know recon, but where?" Sci-Twi asked.
"Oh, you know. Playing hero." Marc said in a knowing smile.

A Peak into The life of James Worthington.(edited, again)
James Worthington was walking out of the Taco Bell building.
'Taco Bell, I have to admit, humans do have a sense of humor.' Worthington mused to himself as he walked.
He may look human, but he's one of the last Cinnigarans in existence. The others are either Nebulon, or a few generals in the FFIA. He mentored Marc to use his powers and skill. Worthington has grown fond of Marc. Back on Cinnigara, Worthington, Nebulon, and Nebulass were inseparable. So when Nebulon destroyed a farming village, Worthington was first to cry. But, luckily he led the exodus as the planet exploded. He saved lives that day.
Worthington has trained and mentored every Nebulass host. He even had feelings for some of the female hosts. But Marc was........different , and not just because he's a kid. Marc was a different kind of different .
Marc was everything a host needs to be: Wise, brave, trusting, strong, skillful, full of Harmony. But, more than that, he new how to unwind in his downtime, at first, Marc was studious, learning all he could. After that, Marc trained day in and day out. He broke all FFIA training and combat records.
But that Marc is long gone. After Nebulon kidnapped his family as leverage, Marc changed. He became darker, angrier, more aggressive. Even Sombra, and Psithyra were shocked by his actions.
Worthington remembers that mission all to well.
They went in to kidnap a high level DBE(Darkness Blighter Empire) operative.
That went well, it was interrogation that shocked every one.
Worthington P.O.V
FFIA Ship Infinite interrogation room.
The room was dimly lit and had a foreboding atmosphere to it.
There was a two way mirror on the wall on the right side of the room.
There was a simple wood table and two chairs on either side of it.
One chair was empty.
Sitting in the other chair opposite of the empty one was a Togruta woman. She wore black Sith robes. Her skin was red with patches of yellow. Her eyes were Sith yellow. Instead of hair, she had something called gray head-tails that rested on her shoulders like hair. She was bound with special handcuffs that blocked her connection to the Force.
The door opened catching the woman's attention.
Out of it came Psithyra in her true form and a black FFIA uniform, said uniform was put together with black pants and shoes, at the top of the pants was a waste cape cut down the back and middle for maneuverability, she wore a black tunic with long sleeves and on the right side of her chest was a Freedom Fighter badge, she lacked a rank badge because she was an operative, and Sombra in his black armor and robes, our top interrogators.
Marc and I watched from the other side of the two-way mirror.
"So, Darth." Psithyra began. "Do you know why we abducted you?"
"Because Freedom Fighters have death wishes." The woman said.
"Look, Darth Sintrath, we want the codes and locations for all your slave, execution, and concentration camps," Sombra said. "So, save yourself a lot of pain, and give in."
"Look, for your the best interrogators the FFIA has, you need knew men." Sintrath snarked
"Get the kit," Sombra ordered Psithyra.
Psithyra pressed some buttons on the two way.
Seeing what Psithyra was doing, Marc picked up a suitcase and placed it flat in a drawer of sorts. Then he pushed the drawer forward and the drawer appeared on the other side and Psithyra picked up the suitcase and pushed the drawer back into the wall and our side.
Psithyra put the suitcase on the table and opened it.
"Alright," Psithyra said. Checking what was in it. She has experienced torture, the benefits of being the Queen's Reaper. Also, she was a Living Lie Detector, so that helps in interrogations. She pulled out several different tools and spread them on the table.
She picked up a syringe and tapped it.
"Let's start with this." Psithyra said handing Sombra the syringe.
Sombra knew how to instill fear. He was skilled in..........extracting information.
"I hope this doesn't go like that Long Way To Fall chapter," Marc said in worry and memory. "Though, it's always fun to see Psithyra un-alive Assassins."
"Really, did you really use time travel just to read ahead a few chapters?" I asked irritated.
"Your just worried I'll spoil it for you." Marc quipped.
The interrogation lasted three hours.
They used every single technique and even resorted to torture
Sintrath didn't crack once. Afterward, the group met in the room behind the mirror
"You're sure she won't crack?" I asked.
"Yes, I've seen some tough nuts, and this one is the wall nut of them," Psithyra admitted.
"You gotta work on that slang," Marc said polishing Goldsword. "I got an idea."
Then Marc demorphed his sword back into a pen, got up and went to the door.
"What are you doing?" Sombra asked Marc.
"Getting a nutcracker," Marc said vaguely as he went left the room and closed the door behind him.
At least a few minutes later, he walked into the interrogation room and put a force field around the door to that room and the room we were in.
He was holding a device in his hands. He sat down at the table, glaring at the Sith mistress.
"I will get the information I want from you," Marc stated simply.
"Yeah, right," Sintrath said disbelievingly. But, Marc piqued her curiosity. "How?"
Marc flashed an evil smile.
Then he placed the device on the table. It was at least six inches long. It was cylindrical in shape, the direct center is larger than the rest of it. It had a red button on one side of the center and green button on the other. On one end were a silver claw and a needle in the center of it. On the other end was a flash drive.
I may have looked calm, but I was shocked, very shocked by what Marc was thinking.
"Do you know what that is?" Marc asked, his face now neutral.
"A M-memory Extractor," Sintrath said scared beyond all rational thought at what Marc was going to do. "The prototype, to be exact."
"So, you do know your tech. Do you know why this and two others are the only ones to exist?" Marc asked.
"B-because.....be-" Fear overtook the Sith. She's heard of these devices. Made by a brilliant DBE scientist. Memory Extractors were built on the idea that if one could completely wipe certain memories like a computer, why couldn't they be removed or transferred? Because a mind and a computer two are very different things, that's why. For more than one reason. They were never perfected. They would always extract more than what was needed. She even heard that the scientist extracted his entire soul.
And Marc was planning on using it on her.
"Please, I'll tell you everything you want to know, I-I'll give you a section of space for the FFIA to have, just don't extract my soul," Sintrath begged, not wanting to spend eternity in a flash drive, or have to re-learn even basic things.
"Hmmm, how about........" Marc paused getting up and walking behind the now scared Sith. "No."
Marc stabbed the back of her head and the claw gripped it, keeping her from simply pulling it out.
This shocked everyone on the other side of the two way, me included. Now we know why Marc put the force field around the door. To stop us from stopping him. I knew it was useless to try and open the doors, Marc was skilled when it came to force fields.
Yet this fact didn't stop Psithyra from hacking at the door with a battle-ax.
"Move. " Sombra said in his King Voice. He summoned all his energy and created a shadowy mist and tendrils. He tried using his tendrils on the door. but this failed several times.
Marc continued to extract memories from the Sith woman.
"P-please. Y-y-you p-probably h-have w-what y-you wwwwant n-n-now." Sintrath said struggling to remember how to speak.
"Oh, I'm sure, but one thing I got from your mind was that you knew who my parents and brother were and extra cruel to them, so, I'm going to be extra cruel to you." Marc said without any compassion towards the Sith.
Sintrath could feel her losing herself, eventually she even forgot her own name. Marc wanted to take more of her soul, but the flash drive was full, so he had no choice but to stop.
Marc mercilessly pulled out the Extractor and deactivated the force fields just as Sombra was gonna try smashing it again. Instead he smashed the door down.
We ran out of the two way room and into the interrogation room.
Marc just casually dusted his shoulder off.
We just stood there in silence for a few minutes.
Eventually Sintrath woke up from her daze.
"Excuse me, you all seem tense, but could you tell me where we are, what's going on and what my name is?" Sintrath asked dumbly.
Marc rolled his eyes and pulled out his pen.
"Morphicon. Marc chanted. Then his pen morphed into his sword and Marc horizontally sliced at the woman. Her pupils dilated and she gasped in shock.
Then her head rolled forward and fell into her lap, now lifeless and unmoving.
"Whoa." Was all Psithyra could mutter.
"Someone needs to clean that up." Marc said pointing his thumb at the decapitated Sith.
Then Marc started walking to the door.
Psithyra walked in front of Marc and blocked him.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're not going any where till we get an explanation for that ." Psithyra said holding her ground.
Then Psithyra cringed aso she flet a mixture of a telepathic blast and a burst of negative emotions. She was holding her head and felt even a little dizzy and cringing in pain.
"W-what the Hell are you doing to her?" Sombra asked.
"Giving her a mere taste of all my negative emotions I've been holding back." Marc stated looking at the suffering Changeling. "And blasting her with telepathy to add some kick to her meal.
"How the hell are you hurting her like that then?" Sombra said. "Psithyra shouldn't react like this, she's lived in a counterpart for f*cking New York for crying out loud!"
"Well, I've been holding back my anger for a while, so, they've gained so much potency and power, Reapers and Queens fall with a thought." Marc stated.
"Marc stop." I said trying to get through to him. Seeing him not relenting, I tried again. "Marc, STOP !"
"Fine." Marc relented and held back his emotions once more. "Now, if you excuse me, tomorrow's a school day."
He was like a son to Worthington.
Why did he burden a child with this life?
Marc was to young to do this, he should worry about normal things, like grades and crushes. Like dances and virginity. Normal 13 year old stuff. Not the fate of the multiverse, or vengeance for his family.
'He's lIke a son to me, and all I am too him is the man who ruined his life.' Worthington thought to himself in regret.
Worthington was broken out of his thoughts as he bumped into a yellow skinned teenager with poofy hair. She wore a Hoodie and blue jeans with simple sneakers.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see where I was going, ms....?" Worthington said.
"Adagio Dazzle." The teenager said.
"Well Ms. Dazzle, I muse be on my way." Worthington said. He knew of Dawn Saber's muses. Marc told the FFIA everything that happened to him when he went rogue and was stranded in the Age of Kings, including befriending the muses and bonding with them. He would thank her for helping bring Marc down to Earth again if it didn't breach security.
"Muse?" Adagio asked confused.
"Must, I must be on my way." Worthington corrected.
"Alright." Adagio said walking down the street shrugging it off.
"Worthington to Infinite . One to beam up." Worthington said putting to fingers on his right ear, calling to the teleporter room chief. Then a golden aura surrounded his body and he was disassembled, atom by atom. Worthington then disappeared completely.

The Encounter In the hallway and Fun at Rarity's
Applejack was putting some stuff away in her locker. She just finished science class and Mr. Discord was chaotic as usual.
She was trying to pull out some books when she heard someone behind her.
"Would you lIke help, Piggly Wiggly?" The voice said.
Applejack stopped what she was doing and turned.
"What'd ya-" There was no one else in that hall. Applejack just shrugged and continued what she was doing.
Lunch.
"And that's all that happened." Applejack said in worry to her friends sitting at the lunch table with her as she finished explaining her encounter.
"Strange." Marc said. "Wait, everyone, check out MyStable. "
"Why?" Velvet asked.
"I need too see something." Marc said pulling out his phone and logging in. 'Username:MarctheLightSparker. Passsword:BroncoatsRForeva.'
Everyone else, minus Velvet, logged in to see the latest post.
"Anon-A-Miss?" Applejack said. "Who the hay is she? And how'd she know 'bout tha' story."
"Isn't it obvi." Tempest said walking over too their table. "It's Sunset Shimmer."
"Look, just because Anon uses Sunset's colors. It doesn't mean she definitely IS Sunset." Sci-Twi said trying to be the voice of reason.
"Plus, the profile was created the same time as the post." Marc stated.
"Pfft, what ever." Tempest said walking away smiling evily.
"Oh, well. I can handle some teasing." Applejack said frankly.
"Anyway, Darlings, since Marc opened up a little at the last one and we had fun with the new kids, maybe we could have a slumber party at my place." Rarity suggested, almost making Marc choke on his Orange Fanta.
"That's not a good idea, I read the Anon-A-Miss comic in my world, and it did not end well." Marc warned the Girls.
"But, Sugarcube, that's in your world, and when does this take place?" Applejack asked.
"Post Rainbow Rocks." Marc said. "But-"
"And, didn't you at one point say that your don't know which parts of our lives there are what happened here and which parts are pure fiction by Lauren Faust and Hasbro?" Sci-Twi asked.
"When did I admit that?" Marc asked.
"I may or may not have hacked your phone while you were sleeping last night and read everything I could understand." Sci-Twi said poking her index fingers together, blushing.
"Wow, how'd you get past my-you know what? That's a dumb question, why?" Marc asked.
"I was curious after you, uh, "opened up" last night." Sci-Twi admitted.
"Wow, anyway, yes. Your right." Marc said.
"Good, I'll tell them after lunch." Rarity said.
"I guess I will take a Leap Of Faith. But if I fail it'll be a Long Way To Fall and I'll have to find The Lost Connection to save the day." Marc punned, getting confused glances from the girls. "Bloodlines Continuity? My favorite fanfic series? Uh, Velvet Breeze is from it? Jeez, I forgot you don't have Fimfiction in your world."
"Uhhhhhh, you really gotta stop punning like that, it really makes my head hurt." Rainbow Dash complained.
After school. In the courtyard.
"Another party?" Jim asked when Rarity told him and his friends after lunch.
"Yes, Darling, you don't mind, do you?" Rarity asked the 6.
"No, not really." Jim said. The others all nodded in agreement.
"Goody, I'll text Pinkie to ask Marc if he wants to come over." Rarity said. Then she pulled out her phone and she released Pinkie Pie on Marc. Then she gave Jim a paper with her address written on it. "Oh, 7:00 on the dot, don't be late."
Then Rarity walked off.
Marc was sitting at a table in Sugarcube Corner waiting for his three friends.
Eventually they walked through the door. They all wore hoodies, blue jeans and sneakers. One had yellow skin and orange poofy hair, another had lavender skin and purple hair tied into pigtails. The other had light blue skin and hair tied into a pony tail.
"Girls, over here." Marc said waving them too his table.
The trio walked over and sat down.
The three couldn't believe their eyes.
"See Aria, I told you I actually saw Sparky." The blue skinned one said.
"I guess you were right Sonata." The lavender skinned one known as Aria admitted to Sonata.
"Adagio, you alright? You look lIke you saw a ghost." Marc joked to the silently shocked Siren.
"How? Last I saw you, last we saw you, you were pushed through that poral that the Man of Shadows messed with." Adagio asked in shock.
"Well, I was sucked to Equestria, befriended your banishers and a teenage Tia and filly Luna, swapped magic secrets with Star swirl, recruited Star Swirl and Luna for the FFIA, watched as The Pillars Of Old Equestria banished the Pony of Shadows, hid their artifacts and sowed the seeds for Shadow Play, and then used Star Swirl's time travel spell on the portal and got back to this dimension and time. No biggie." Marc explained.
"Cool." Aria said impressed.
"Thanks." Marc said.
It was around this time Pinkie and Rainbow Dash walked into the cafe.
"I saw Marc walk in here." Pinkie Pie said, looking around.
Hey, there is." Rainbow Dash said looking at the table Marc was at.
Pinkie gave a huge gasp. "And look who he's sitting with!"
Rainbow Dash took a closer look at the table, and sitting there talking with Marc was none other than the Dazzlings. Adagio even laughed at Marc's jokes like, like they were old friends!
"Come on, we have a job too do." Rainbow Dash said gritting her teeth. The two walked over too the table.
"So, how are you Light Sparker?" Adagio asked.
"That, that isn't my name." Marc said shocking the trio. "It's Kurtzman, Marc Wayne Kurtzman."
"Oh, that's good to know." Adagio said, slightly dismayed.
"I know what your thinking, it's not that I didn't trust you with my name, it was because I couldn't risk messing with the time line......much." Marc explained.
Adagio perked up hearing that her friend did trust her.
"Well, since you trust me with your real name, I guess I can trust you with....." Adagio said reaching into her pocket. Then she pulled out a small brown leather bag and placed it on the table. "This."
"Is that....your pendant?" Marc asked even though he knew he was right.
"Hey, Marc." Said a voice familiar to the group.
Marc turned around to see Rainbow Dash standing there.
"Hi RD." Marc said casually. Then he registered what just happened. "Oh, Go-se."
"I won't even ask why you are sitting with the Dazzlings, I'm just gonna say, Rarty is having a slumber party and you are invited." Rainbow Dash said rubbing her temples.
"Okay, you reacted better than I calculated." Marc stated bluntly.
"Hey, if you wanna be friends with our former enenmies. Fine by me as long as they don't try to kill us, again." Rainbow Dash admitted. "Who knows how many friends you have that that we defeated."
"Only 5." Marc stated bluntly. "These three, Thy and Sombra."
"Okay." Rainbow Dash said. Then she turned too the Dazzlings. "How are you three anyway?"
"Nunya." Aria said cross.
Aria and RD argued for a while, tossing insults and jeers.
Marc, seeing his chance, picked up Adagio's leather bag and replaced it with an identical one with a double of her shattered ruby in it.
"Alright, alright, sorry I asked." Rainbow Dash said backing away as the group had to restrain Aria so she didn't cause a scene.
Pinkie walked over with three bags of donuts and coffees in hand.
"Here, you look like you need it." Pinkie said smiling as she placed her bounty on the table. "Bye."
Then Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash left the cafe.
"Christ." Marc said rubbing the bridge of his nose. Then he looked at his watch. "I gotta go. See you three later."
Then Marc got up and left the trio.
Rarity's house.
Bumblebee and Jim's scooter were parked in the driveway. Luckily enough, no super villains tried to kill the group this time.
They walked up to the house, as they walked, they noticed Tempest walking past them.
They ignored her and opened the door.
"My parents are in Europe for a fashion show, so, the house is mine and my sister's for a few weeks." Rarity explained to the group. "Come into my room."
"Hi, Raity." Said Sweetie Belle as she saw the group walk in. "Tempest Shadow was helping me with sewing."
"That's cool, but isn't it getting late?" Rarity asked as she pushed Sweetie Belle out of her room.
"What? No it isn't!" Sweetie Belle complained.
"It's time to let your older sister have fun with her friends." Rarity said aa she pushed Sweetie out of the room.
"What? I can be cool!" Sweetie Belle said as she was pushed out and the door closed behind her.
"Okay, who's up for ghost stories?" Pinkie asked wearing a blanket like a cloke and holding a candle.
"Nah, after you start flaying nightmares on a daily bases in the Middle Ages, ghost stories lose their appeal." Marc said waliking by. "Why not some karaoke instead?"
Everyone seemingly agreed.
Sunset handed Rarity her phone.
"Could you record me and Marc as we sing?" Sunset asked. "I wanna capture the memory."
"Sure thing, darling." Rarity said as she turned on the phones camera and held it up.
Then Marc pulled his phone out and turned on Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
Marc and Sunset stood up on the bed and began singing along, each holding a brush as microphones
Marc: Listen baby, ain't no mountain high, ain't no valley low, ain't no river wide enough, baby.
Sunset: If you need me call me, no matter where you are, no matter how far.
Marc: Don't worry baby.
Sunset: just call my name, I'll be there in a hurry, you don't hafta worry.
The two mesmerized the group with their singing. Marc, not only can duel, he can sing and dance too. Jim and Co. was impressed.
Marc and Sunset: Cause baby, there ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough, to keep me from getting to you baby!
Then Marc took the lead.
Marc: Remember the day, I set you free? I told you you could always count on me, darling. From that day on, I made a vow; I'll be there when you want me, some way, some how.
Marc and Sunset: Cause baby, there, ain't no Mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no rivder wide enough, to keep me from getting to you baby.
Marc booped Sunset with his index finger.
Marc: Oh no, darling!
Sunset blushed.
Sunset: No wind, no rain! Or winter's cold, can stop me baby.
Marc: Oh, no, baby!
Sunset: Cause you are my goal!
Marc: if you're ever in trouble, I'll be there on the double! Just, send for me!
Marc and Sunset: Oh, BABY!
This next bit embarrassed Sunset a bit.
Sunset: My love is alive, way down in my heart, although we are miles apart!
Marc: If you ever need a helping hand, I'll be there on the double! As fast as I can!
Marc and Sunset: Ain't no muntain high enough! Ain't no valley low enough! Ain't no river wide enough, to keep me from getting to you babe!
Marc was doing some Michael Jackson worthy spins, while Sunset just danced in place.
Marc and Sunset: Don'tcha know that, there ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough, ain't no mountain high enough ain'to no valley low enough! Ain't no--whoa!
Marc then lost his footing and fell off the bed!
He tried to push his arms out to save him self, but his reflexes worked against him and he fell into the closet.
The girls walked over to help Marc. As the hunters and teens stayed back.
"You alright Marc?" Rainbow Dash asked as she put her hand out for Marc to grab.
"Yeah, not the first time I busted a door, just the first time I did it busting a move." Marc said pulling a white fedora off his head once he stood up. "Cool fedora. What closet is this?"
"Oh, it's just my Closet of Shame."Rarity explained. "It's where I put my outfits that don't work out. Sometimes I donate the semi decent ones to a Goodwill and other drives."
"These aren't all that bad ." Marc said wearing a white fedora and suit. "Can I keep this? I can work on it and I'll wear it on All Hallow's Eve."
"Sure thing, darling." Rarity said.
"Hey, Pinkie." Marc said to the pink party planner. "You wanna say it, or should I?"
"I got this." Pinkie said. "DRESS UP PARTY!"
They all donned different outfits and accessories. Luckily, Sunset was kind enough to capture the memories.
Later.
Sunset was lieing awake, content and happy.
She reached for journal and started writing in it.
Dear Twilight,
Even though I'be been to a lot of slumber parties with the girls already, every time I go, I can't but help feel all the more closer too them. Marc has opened up a bit about his weird past, but, per his insistence, I won't go to deep into that. But Marc is very nice, and has an exelect singing voice, I might even ask him if he wants to join the Rainbooms, but something tells me he's more of the solo singing and dancing kinda guy. We have some new students here at CHS. That's why we've been having slumber parties, this is my second one with them and Marc. Though, Marc snores like train. But, could you look into something for me? Marc uses a pseudonym on his MyStable account user name, and it rings a bell. Look up Light Sparker in Equestria, just a little curious, and I doubt Marc would be straightforward enough to tell me.
Your Friend,
Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset then closed her journal and put it away.
She looked toward the sleeping 13 year old present.
He looked genuinely happy. Something she could tell somehow he hasn't been in a while.
Sunset closed her eyes and went to sleep.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Friendships Divided And Outcasts United.
Sunset sat down at the lunch table with her friends, Marc included.
Yet there was something wrong, the girls, minus Velvet, where glaring at Sunset.
"Hey girls, what's....wrong?" Sunset asked in worry.
"Uh, Sunet, have you lost yer phone recently?" Applejack asked wearily.
"Don't say no, don't say no, don't say no." Marc prayed under his breath, then he stared at the group, like a tactician overlooking a battle field. He was scared, he didn't get scared a lot, so, the fact he was scared, scared him even more.
"Uh, no, it's right here." Sunset said holding her phone.
"Then, ya need to explain, this. " Applejack said handing Sunset her phone.
On MyStable, there was Anon-A-Miss' latest post.
On it was the pictures from the slumber party last night and a caption that read:OMG what a bunch of DORKS, especially with that white robe! Hahaha, Hey, boy, we don't need wannabe Michael Jacksons!
"What?! How'd she get our pictures?" Sunset asked shocked.
"That's th' thing, Sunset." Applejack said. "They're not our pictures....."
"They're yours." Rarity finished.
"You where the one who took those pictures." Applejack stated accusingly.
"Wait, but I've had my phone all this time." Sunset said. "How did she-?"
"Yeah, how did she? How'd she know mah nickname? How'd she get those selfies? It was you, you're Anon-A-Miss!" Applejack accused.
"Hey, hold your horses." Marc said taking everybody's attention. "There is a surefire way to figure out friend....from foe."
"How?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I want Velvet Breeze to scan Sunset Shimmer with Eagle Vision." Marc explaned.
"That sounds like a good idea." Velvet Breeze agreed.
Then she concentrated deeply, her vision went gray, all things on the outside obscured, her six friends were highlighted a blue hue.
Marc was a deep golden hue, as usual.
Velvet turned to face Sunset.
Sunset, at first was a deep blue hue, but, she got a migrane for a few seconds, but shook it off. She faced Sunset again, but this time, Sunset's hue was a deep, unmistakable, red.
"So, Velvet, how does she look?" Rarity asked.
"I'm sorry to say, she's red, Applejack's right." Velvet said sadly.
"We trusted you Sunset, we thought you were our friend!" Rainbow Dash said.
"She is!" Marc stated. "Don't you see? This is what whoever is doing this wants!"
"Sorry Marc, but, this time, Sunset is th' villain, th' facts don't lie." Applejack said bluntly.
"'How? How could you do this? After all we've been through together?" Rarity asked through tears.
"EXACTLY!" Marc said. "The battle of the bands. The Aassassin secret war. The Rift Between Worlds. The Frindship Games. Camp Everfree. The Memory Stone. Do you seriously think, that after all you've done together, after the battles you've fought, the enemies you faced, that she'd thow your friendship away? Like it was nothing? Just lIke that?" Marc asked snapping his fingers together to emphasise his point.
But, the only one who even listened to him was Velvet Breeze and Sunset. Everyone else was to blinded by anger and sadness.
"What? No, you guys. I didn't do this." Sunet said at the verge of tears, the only thing holding her back from tearing totally was Marc still believing in her. "I could never hurt any of you, let alone betray you and spill your secrets on the internet!"
"But you did ! Your must've been pretending to be our friend. Just to steal our secrets!" Pinkie said, showing a side of herself Marc was shocked to see in the pink party planner. "You, you secret stealer!"
"No, no, no, no. I don't know how she got these secrets, but, I can assure you, I, am not this person!" Sunset said, trying to convince her friends of the truth. But, only Marc fully believed her preachings.
"No, you're not! You're not the person we thought you were!" Fluttershy said, crying a river. "You're not our friend!"
This sent Sunset over the edge. Sunset was now crying a river as well.
"No, I am your friend, I am." Sunset said through her sobs.
"Sorry, Sunset, but we're not falling for your tricks, any more." Applejack said sternly standing with her friends.
Sunset only ran off sobbing, her face in her arms.
"Mortals, you are so pigheaded!" Marc yelled in anger at his friends' ignorance. "What language do I need to speak to make you understand? Sunset Shimmer is innocent!"
Marc repeated this in Latin, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vulcan, Dwarvish, Elvish, Cinnigaran.
"You're so sure Sunset is innocent?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Maybe she fooled you to."
"I doubt it." Marc said angry.
"Well, I doubt we should trust you either way." Rainbow Dash said.
"What do you mean by that?" Marc asked.
"Oh, befriending super villains lIke Sombra, Mirror Match, the Dazzlings." Rainbow Dash said.
"Okay, that....is a good point, but it was the previous Head of Council's idea, not mine." Marc stated.
"Whatever, if you wanna take her side, help her all you want, spill everything you have on us, we don't have to listen." Rainbow Dash said as the group moved to another table.
Marc got up and ran after Sunset.
Sunset continued to run, until she bumped into someone.
"Hey, watch it dork!" It was a woman with blonde hair, white skin, and yellow lipstick on, her left ear was pierced, she wore fingerless gloves, a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, and sneakers.
Sunset took a minute to remember her name, Gilda. Rainbow Dash introduced her to the group, but Gilda was a major Jerk and Rainbow ended her and Gilda's friendship.
"Sorry." Sunset said, trying to avoid making her day worse.
"Well, "sorry" won't cut it, Anon-A-Miss." Gilda sneered.
"What?" Sunset asked.
"Don't you know? you just posted more dirt, specifically, about me!" Gilda said. "How about I teach you what means to mess with me, you little bitch!"
Gilda raised her fist to punch Sunset, but felt someone holding her arm, she turned to see the blue haired baseball player , Home Run.
"Look, I don't exactly know if you've heard, but Sunset isn't Anon-A-Miss." Home Run stated.
"Oh yeah, what's your proof?" Gilda sneered.
"We're standing in it." Home Run said. "Sunset and her friends have saved this school, and everyone in it, on more than one occasion."
"What ever, it doesn't mean Sunset didn't turn over an old leaf." Gilda said.
Then some thing flew past her eyes and imbedded itself in the wall.
She and Home Run looked at the object.
It was a pen.
Everyone there turned to see who threw the pen.
Standing at the other end of the hallway was Marc, and he did not look happy.
"I've fought, and killed, some of the greatest fighters in the multiverse, so, when someone is under my protection, it's best to give up trying to do harm to those I protect." Marc stated.
Seeing she was out matched, she shook off Home Run's grip and walked away.
"Watch your back, cause there'll be my army knife in it if you don't." Gilda threatened as she left.
"Are you okay Sunset?" Marc asked as he extended his arm to help Sunset up.
"Yes, but I could've handled that." Sunset said grabbing his arm and pulling herself up.
"That was cool. You're Marc, right?" Home Run asked. He's heard of this kid, even though he was visiting his grandfather during the friendship games rematch finale, stories about this kid had spread around the school, even though he doesn't entirely believe Marc is a deity, he very much believes Marc has skill.
"The one and only in this universe that I know of." Marc said simply. "Thank you for trying to defend Sunset."
"Anything for an old friend." Home Run stated.
"Indeed, there is nothing one wouldn't do for their closest, and truest, friends." Marc said.
"Yeah, that sounds right." Home Run said.
The bell sounded.
"We better get to class." Marc said casually to Sunset.
"Hey, Marc?" Sunset asked.
"What is it Sunset?" Marc asked his friend.
"Why did you help me?" Sunset asked.
"You're my friend, and you needed help." Marc said. "Need I say more?"
"No, I guess." Sunset said.
"Well, we better get going, could you do me a favor and try to avoid getting yourself in trouble?" Marc requested.
"Yes, I'll try." Sunset said.
Then they each said their good byes and went to their own classes.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Over the next few days.......
Agent Day was leaping from building to building, allowing her skills to do their work.
She was wearing a jet black Freedom Fighter uniform and helmet with her code name and rank badge on it.
She held the rank of Lt. Colonel. Her favored weapons were twin Solar gun-swords.
Her contact had told her and Agent Change to meet them on the rooftop parallel to Sugarcube Corner.
She jumped again and landed on said rooftop.
On the other side of the rooftop was another woman, she too wore an FFIA uniform, she had a name badge, but lacked a rank badge. She didn't wear a helmet, revealing her charcoal black skin and green eyes with black slits for pupils and purple hair.
Agent Change. An Operative. Her favored weapons were a black, poisoned dagger, and a jagged, charcoal black sword.
"Agent Change." Day said getting her comrade's attention.
"Day, how are you?" Change asked as the twor embraced.
"I'm well, you?" Day asked as she was released from the hug.
"I'm good, though the friendship games rematch rattled my sister a little, but, I told her she's the only one were my loyalty lies entirely." Change said.
"That's good, here's hoping that your queen doesn't declare war on the FFIA, I don't want to kill her, or you." Day said.
"Me too, though, you wouldn't stand a chance." Change jested.
"I doubt it." Day stated.
"Are you two done?" Asked a third voice.
The two agents turned to see someone wearing a strange armor. It fit around this tall man like a second skin. He wore a helmet that covered his face. The whole armor was stark black. They almost couldn't see him. His armor was decorated with some golden ornaments as well.
It was called Warframe armor, they come from a place called the Void in the video game, and dimension, of the same name. Wearers of this armor are called Tenno, masters of both blade and gun. Yet, The Pilot was simply that. The Tenno was an A.I that inhabited the suit.
"Your wearing your Warframe?" Change asked looking at the pilot's armor.
"Excalibur Umbra? Nice." Day complimented seeing as to that she had never seen her comrade wear a Warframe. "But no capes?"
"No Capes." The Pilot said sternly.
"Alright." Day said. "Why'd you call us here?"
"Command says Cons have been sighted in Canterlot." The Pilot said.
"Scrap." Day said. "Where?"
"Everfree Camp." The Pilot explained. "A mining operation. All Command knows is that they're working with Gumm-Gumms and they're not exactly mining Energon."
"What are they mining?" Change asked.
"That's what we are to find out." The Pilot said. "Ex?"
"Yes? " Asked the The Tenno.
"Just seeing if you were awake and ready." The Pilot said as the group continued to run across rooftops like Assassins.
Camp Everfree.
An orange sling-ring portal just opened and out of it came our Freedom Fighter Trinity.
"I don't see any 'Cons." Change said. "Where are they?"
"Hang on, scanning. " Excalibur said. "Several signals coming from a large Antechamber under the lake. "
"Under?" Day asked. Yet, she wasn't answered.
"How large?" Change asked.
"As large as this whole forest. " Excalibur said.
No one said a word.
"Let's move." The Pilot said breaking the silence.
Then the three walked to the end of a wood pier. It was decorated with solar powered lights on red wood pedestals. The front of the boardwalk had a large sing hanging in the archway. The sign read CAMP EVERFREE.
The Pilot put his hand out over the water and used his telekineses to spread the water.
"I didn't know your Warframe could do that." Change said.
"It doesn't, I simply used the power I already had, this armor is powerful, but it doesn't have my powers." The Pilot said.
"Good to know, Yang." Day said. "Will you use any other powers aside from the Tenno's?"
"Probably." The Pilot admitted.
"Let's go." Day said as the three walked down the rocky terrain.
As they went deeper, The Pilot kept up an air bubble big enough for the three to walk, breath, and stay dry.
The Pilot, Yang, was silent as they walked along the rocky underwater terrain.
Change was admittingly impressed by it, being underwater, even with her experience.
Day was equally shocked.
Yet, no one broke the silence, lest they might break Yang's focus.
Eventually they arrived at the rocky bottom of the lake. Yang then waved his hand and spread the rock in the center of the bubble, forming a hole large enough for the three to drop in one at a time.
Day was first.
Then Change.
Yang was last. He broke his concentration as he jumped down the hole and closed it behind him.
They entered the antechamber. It was damp and dark, making it hard to see.
Change had a natural night vision. Yet Day and Yang had to activate their helmet's night visions.
Once they did, they were shocked by what they saw.
In the center of a gigantic antechamber was a giant bronze saucer with gold bumps decorating the hull. It looked as if it crashed here, based on how it was positioned. The stalactites and stalagmites hugged the ship, hinting that this ship was here for centuries. Maybe even millenia.
Yet that wasn't what caused the three to run to a nearby rock and hide behind it.
What is, was the Vehicons and trolls that littered the antechamber.
The trolls had black, rock-like skin that was decorated with green glowing lines on their bodies. They wore fearsome armor and masks, said masks had Viking-like horns on the side of them. They had red and yellow eyes of evil.
All FFIA members know of Gumm-Gumms. At least a thousand years ago in the Trollhunters dimension, these evil trolls rampaged on earth and ate thousands of humans. But, Merlin the wizard reached out to the more strong willed good trolls and gave them the Amulet of Daylight and created the Trollhunter. Deya, one of the legendary Trollhunters, eventually banished the evil Gumm-Gumms to the Darklands. But what are these Gumm-Gumms doing here, and why are they working with Vehicons?
The Gumm-Gumm trolls either held swords or spears and patrolled the area as the miner Vehicons attempted to cut the rocks holding the saucer in place. The miners had a dark pink hue compared to the dark purple warrior Vehicons. They also had two vizors instead of one. They were mining at the rocks, trying to get to the ship, and possibly, it's crew.
"This is gonna be fun. " Excalibur said.
"I count twelve miner Vehicons, sixteen Gumm-Gumms, and ten warrior Vehicons." Change said.
"How do we approach?" Day asked.
Yang looked around the antechamber. The gears in Yang's head turned as he thought up a strategy. Eventually he pulled the Skana-a common sword in Warframe-off his back and gripped it in his hand.
"We fight, cause a lot of damage to their operation, kill as many badies as we can, and try not to die." Yang said simply.
"So, the usual?" Change asked casually as she drew her charcoal black, curved sword and Day drew her solar gun-swords.
"Yeah." Yang nodded.
Day's solar gun-swords were styled like cutlasses. The blades were orange and the gold guards had fire runes imbedded on the hilt. Below said fire rune was a strange metal tube. On the leather rapped handle was a small, silver trigger. This is where the "gun" in "gun-sword" comes in. This trigger and tube are a gun built into the sword, not only does the rune light the blade on fire if Day concentrates hard enough, but it powers the gun as well. If Day pulls the trigger, it blasts a small, bullet-like fireball.
Day charged at a nearby Gumm-Gumm.
Something that wasn't unnoticed by the spear wielding guard.
Day jumped and stabbed her swords into the guard's neck and pulled the triggers.
The guard's head exploded in a ball of flame.
This action made the other guards, Cybertronian and Troll alike, notice them.
"Here's Yang-ey!" Yang yelled as he jumped and stabbed an unsuspecting Vehicon warrior in the visor, killing it and making the body fall.
Yang flipped over the head as it fell and landed gracefully on the antechamber floor.
Then Change gripped her sword and attacked a sword weilding Gumm-Gumm, killing it with ease.
The warrior Vehicons transformed their right hands into blasters that the barrels glowed with red energy and the Vehicon warriors started shooting red lasers at the three.
"Scatter." Yang ordered.
All three of them ran in different directions, dodging the red blaster fire.
Day deflected some shots with her swords and fired her own at some Gumm-Gumms and Vehicons. She lit the magic swords on fire and dueled two Gumm-Gumm at once.
Then, a third one charged as she stabbed the one she dueled with her left sword. It sliced at her with an axe.
Day was thrown across the antechamber. Her helmet took most of the best blow for her, but, she will have one hell of a cut tomorrow.
"Day!" Change said as she disemboweled another Gumm-Gumm.
Yang took his Braton off his back and fired at a Vehicon that was gonna fire at her.
"Hey, Day, wake up!" Yang said pushing on her shoulder.
"Uuh, ow, every thing hurts." Day said as she woke up.
"Your alive, good." Yang said. "C'mon, round two."
The two helped Day get up as she picked up her solar swords.
Yang looked around, looking for the leader.
He found what he was looking for in the form of a silver and red Vehicon flyer. The silver and red paint job told Yang he was a part of Starscream's personal Armada.
Yang charged, dodging blaster fire and Gumm-Gumms trying to slice at him.
Yang returned the favor on each account.
His comrades followed suit. The Vehicons shot at the three Fighters.
"Let's move!" The Leader ordered. Then a Groundbridge opened behind him and his men ran though it. One of them was carrying some strange statues.
"Bye!" The Leader said as he ran through the Groundbridge and it closed behind him.
"Dammit." Yang said, seeing that his only source of info escape.
Everyone was silent.
Yang looked at the battlefield, bodies of Cybertronian and Troll alike littered it, yet the miners got away.
"What the heck is that ship?" Change asked, now focusing on the giant saucer in the room.
"Dalek attack ship." Yang said, scaring Day and slightly shocking Change.
"So, this is where the Doctor's dimension affects ours?" Change asked.
Yang nodded darkly.
"Well, buck. " Excalibur said. "We gonna hafta fight any R2-D2 wannabes? "
"Possibly." Yang said. "Let's leave it for now."
"Hmm, it seems we can leave without causing attention." Change pointed out. "Groundbridge, or Sling-Ring?"
"Sling-Ring." Yang said. "I'm not in the mood to puke my guts out from Groundbridge disorientation."
"Okay." Change said.
Then Yang pulled out a small gold ring with a flat top and two finger holes.
After he put the left on his right hand, he brought his arms outward and started spinning his left hand in small, clockwise circles.
Soon an orange portal opened.
"After you." Yang said to his comrades once he new the portal was stable.
Day and Change walked through the portal, leaving Yang alone.
After a deep sigh he walked through and it closed behind him.
Over the next few weeks, Anon-A-Miss only gained power.
Secrets were spread ALL over. Arguments broke out everywhere, It wasn't just the Mane 7 Anon targeted. It was EVERYONE. Student and teacher alike. Only, the Mane 7 got the blunt of it.
Even Marc was getting teased when his true age was revealed. But, then they remembered he can make them nonexistent with a blink, so they stopped.
But, the teasing wasn't what Marc was worried about.
Marc worried that if Anon kept digging, she'd find the secret FFIA Database here. And the dirt on all the undercover agents, like Agent Day AKA Celestia, or Agent Change AKA Psithyra.
And that was bad, needless to say.
And do you know who almost the entire student body pretty much abused because of Anon-A-Miss?
Sunset Shimmer.
People need someone or something to blame in times like this. So, they chose the school's foremost former villain. But, Sunset was not with out protection completely.
When ever someone tried to hurt her, she'd just use her gifts from the spirit of the First Assassin, Crystal Empire Spymaster Emerald Edge. Mainly to escape from them. Even though they tried to hurt her, she didn't want to make them see her even more as a monster by hurting them.
Yet, sometimes even those were not enough. Ironic, it seems she was more accustomed to super villains, rather than high schoolers.
This was one such time.
She was in the hallway that she first encountered Twilight during the first Equestria Girls movie. She was on her knees, getting punched, a lot.
She was surrounded by several bullies she recognizes.
Hoops, Gilda, Dumb-Bell, Score, Snips, and Snails. Tempest just watched, playing ring leader.
"Time you got what you deserve, and no freshman for you stand behind now." Gilda sneered.
"How about a principal?" A voice behind the bullies said.
They turned to face the voice.
"Principal Celestia?!" Hoops asked shocked at seeing their Principal there.
She was wearing her usual attire, but, she had rings under her eyes, hinting she didn't get much sleep last night. Her cheek had a long cut on it, and she walked toward the group with a limp.
"Yes, now, I suggest you run along before I give you all detention for a week." The pearl skinned principal threatened.
The bullies all backed off at the thought of Detention. Run by the less merciful Vice-Principal Luna.
They all ran off to classes, leaving the principal and Sunset alone.
"Are you alright, Sunset?" Celestia asked as she helped Sunset off the floor.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you, but how are you?" Sunset asked seeing her principal's cut.
"Oh, I'm fine just got on the wrong end of an axe." Celestia said. "Usual FFIA stuff."
"Oh, sometimes I forget your a Freedom Fighter." Sunset said.
"Well, I'm a principal first." Celestia stated.
"Can I ask you something?" Sunset asked.
"You just did." Celestia joked. "Go ahead."
"Do you ever....kill..anyone?" Sunset asked. "While being "Agent Day"?"
"Sometimes, if I need to, but it isn't easy." Celestia said. "I bet you know how that feels."
"What do you mean by that?" Sunset asked.
"Well, first, there was Sombra and the Templars, then there was Vor and the Grineer, then that Stalker, you cut off his leg." Celestia stated. "You have spilled some blood yourself."
"Doesn't mean I'm proud of it." Sunset said.
"Anyway, Marc wants you to stop by his house this Friday, but, till then please let try to be wary." Celestia pleaded.
"Alright." Sunset said walking away.
"I do hope she'll be alright." Celestia said to herself as she limped away.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Sunset Shimmer walked around the parking lot for CHS. She was texted by Marc to meet her in the lot. Why, only Faust knows. (And me.)
Sunset asked Home Run to come along, just in case something happens.
"Think he'll show up?" Asked the blue skinned baseball player.
"I dunno." Sunset said to her friend.
"Hey, Sunset." Said a different voice.
Both turned to see Velvet Breeze running over.
"Velvet, what are you doing here?" Sunset asked.
"I'm sorry, when I scanned you, I saw my Eagle Vision........glitched." Velvet admitted.
"Glitched? How?" Sunset asked.
"Well, at first I saw you as an ally, but I got a headache and then you scanned as red." Velvet explained.
"Strange." Said the familiar voice of Marc. They both turned to see him standing in front of a red Ford Focus, his satchel rapped around his shoulder. "I thought I felt a telepathic power used. I just didn't want to jump to conclusions. C'est la vie ."
"You can sense if someone uses telepathy?" Sunset asked.
"Kinda, if they're powerful enough." Marc said shaking his hand side to side. Then he opened the back side door to the Focus. "After you."
"What about you?" Home Run said. "You seem a little young to drive."
"Hey, Marc, we goin' or what?" Said a voice from the driver's seat.
Then a head poked out from one of the windows. He had Caucasian skin that had a slight glow to it, gold eyes, black hair, and spoke with a slight British accent.
"Oh, is that Sunset Shimmer? She's prettier than I expected." The man said.
"Quiet Worthington." Marc snapped as Sunset blushed. "Anyway, get in, let's go."
"Who's he?" Home Run asked.
"Jim Worthington, an old friend of Marc's and a guy who knows who you are Mr. Run." Worthington said with his grin still plastered on.
"Where are we going?" Home Run asked as he, Velvet, and Sunset got in the back seats.
"My house." Marc said as he sat shotgun.
Then Worthington started driving.
There was an, awkward silence, for some reason.
Worthington decided to break it by talking to Marc.
"Sooooo, anything interesting going on?" Worthington asked.
"Eh, Anon-A-Miss is finally racking CHS." Marc said staring out the window. "But, I'm 50% sure Tempest had a hand in giving them a push. Probably telepathy mixed with simple psychological warfare on a youngling's mind."
"Hmm, smart on Berrytwist's part. She would have been a priceless asset to the FFIA." Worthington admitted. "It's sad she Mirror Matched us."
This term brought back unpleasant memories to the two girls.
"Yeah, and I told you that metaphore doesn't make sense." Marc said.
"How? Mirror went undercover and betrays the Brotherhood." Worthington said.
"Yeah, but she betrays them because of the lack of resources that the Templars have so she can find her queen, whereas Tempest was never on our side in the first place." Marc countered. "So a more accurate metaphore would be is that she Terrad, or Judas, us."
"Good point." Worthington said. "Either way, epic fanfic."
"Indeed, Mangoes are Magic." Marc joked.
"Met the Trollhunters yet?" Worthington asked.
"Yeah, they have yet to reveal themselves." Marc said.
After that, the two just passed anecdotes and talked. Sometimes laughed. They were old friends after all.
Yet it was awkward as hell for the passengers.
"Trollhunters?" Home Run asked facing Sunset who just shrugged.
Pretty soon, the city skyline was replaced by green forests.
The three passengers looked around, instead of the subtly cartoonish surroundings they are used to, they saw a place that just looked............different. It looked, real, to real.
There was some Caucasian men playing golf on the left side of the road. On the right was another group of trees.
Eventually, they arrived in front of a drive way on a raised, man-made hill.
Worthington drove the Focus and parked it in the driveway.
In front of them was a small grass plain with a line of trees dotting the background.
In closer to them, was a red two story house with a stone tile pathway leading up to a wood porch on the left side of the house. There was also a a line of evergreen trees on the left side of it. On the right was a white gazibo. On the right of the car was two red barns with a fence and some more evergreens in the middle of them.
Marc got out of the car and urged the three passengers to follow.
Worthington simply drove away, but assured them that he'll pick them up.
They walked along the pathway to the red house.
When they stepped on the porch, they saw that near the door was two red recycling bins, next to the porch was a black trash can with wheels on it. The porch was dotted with other items.
Marc opened the screen door to get to the regular white wood door.
He pulled out a key and put it in the lock, unlocked it, and turned the nob.
"Welcome, to my humble home." Marc said as he opened the door and the four stepped inside.
Inside the mudroom was a light brown carpet that would make Rarity feint from it's tackiness. Next to the door was a wood bench with some baskets resting in it. On the left side of the room was a white door that allowed access to Marc's bedroom and a place for people to put their shoes. On the right side was several coats hung up by command hooks. A bright red heavy coat stood out. Along with a small blue coat that looks like it's meant for a kid. On the other end of the room was the entrance for the hallway. There was also a black cabinet with a lamp and key basket resting on it. Above the lamp was a large mirror that took up most of the back wall.
"Quaint." Home Run complimented.
"Follow me." Marc said as he led them to his room.
Marc's room was equally quaint.
It had a grass green carpet on the floor. He had some superhero posters and art he drew in his younger years. His bed was on the left side of the room, his head board had a lego Batman clock and a Batman mini-bank. He had a star shaped trophy and a box of tissues. Next to the white wood bed with Batman sheets, was a brown wood dresser that had a YU-GI-OH deck, an MP3 player, a booklet, and some knick knacks.
Next to the dresser was a black bench with a brown cushion on it facing a wood table with several Legos on it facing the wall. Next to the table was a bookshelf that had some books on it and the bottom left slot was a blue-green bin.
In front of the bookshelf was some more bins, a lime green one filled with action figures. And a baby blue one was filled with Lego instructions. Next to the bench was a white cardboard box with Comics written on it. Next to the box was a yellow plastic box styled like a Lego 2x8 brick. Next to that box was yet another Lego plastic box, this box was red and styled like a 2x4 brick.
On the wall on right wall hanging from Command Hooks was a towel on the left, on the right was a black, plaid bath robe
The center one didn't have anything hanging from it.
Sorry about the mess." Marc said pointing to the bins and boxes.
"It's alright, I guess." Velvet said,
Then Marc walked to the wall with the hooks and put his hand on it.
"Uh, Marc, what are you doing?" Velvet asked the boy.
"You'll see." Marc said simply.
Then he channeled some Chi. A blue energy circled his hand and that small part of the wall opened into slices like a small pizza pie. The "slices" opened up, revealing silver lever.
Marc pulled the lever and then a part of the floor had that same blue energy, creating a large square in the floor. The square opened up, revealing a long staircase going down into the floor.
Then Marc walked to were the staircase began and started walking down with his hands in his pockets.
Then he noticed his guests weren't following him.
Marc turned to face them.
"I'm aware you're confused, slightly fearful, and even paranoid." Marc said. "And you have every right to be, but, I didn't invite you three too my home only to go all "The Shining" on you three or whatever you think I'm might do. So, remember and heed this advice; forget what you think you know, and trust in me."
The three said nothing, they only looked at one another and nodded.
Then Marc turned back around and began walking down, with his guests following suit, Sunset behind Marc, Home Run behind Sunset, and Velvet Breeze behind Home Run.
As they walked, there was a stale feeling in the air. The air itself felt slightly off, with the smell of ash and chemicals in the air. The staircase was lit by several blue light bulbs on the wall. The stairs themselves were a black stone, a stark contrast to the usual bright colors Marc uses.
Eventually, the four found themselves in front of a dark green door. Marc pulled out a blue key and placed it in the lock and turned until he heard a tell tale click. Then he turned the knob and opened the door.
The four walked in, greeted by a stronger, thicker version of the smell from the staircase, as well as smoke, blurring their vision.
"Air Conditioners on." Marc ordered to no one in particular, smelling the odor an seeing the smoke. Then all four could hear a whirring noise could be heard and then the smoke cleared.
"Activate air fresheners." Marc ordered to no one again. And then the smell of ash and stale potion was replaced with the sweet scent of fresh cherries.
The room they were in was dimly lit with a blue light, on the left side of the room twas a large book case filled to the brim with books, on the right side of the room was a silver table with several unfinished inventions and gadgetry with different tools and equipment on it, including a console and monitor. Next to the table was a weapons rack with several swords resting on it. On the other end if the room was a large computer, much like the Batcomputer in DC.
"Alright Sunday, what blew up this time?" Marc asked no one in particular.
"Your latest project, sir." Said the mechanical voice of the computer at the other side of the room as the monitors came to life.
"Oh, the one with me trying to merge Warframe tech with my Cinnigaran Armor?" Marc asked as the four walked farther in.
"Yes sir." Sunday said.
"Ah." Marc said. Then he turned to his confused guests. "Welcome to my lab."
"Cool lab, reminds me of the Lotus Sanctum." Sunset said.
"Ah, Rift Between Worlds, fun story." Marc said, getting confused looks from his guests.
The three started to look around, Sunset walked to browse the books, Velvet went to look at the weapons rack, looking at the beautiful swords resting horizontally on it. Home Run looked at the equipment on the table.
Marc then sat down and pulled out a brown pouch with a string keeping it closed, and emptied it's contents onto the table. Said contents were Red Ruby shards. Marc pulled a large magnifying glass over the shards and picked up metal tweezers and used them to grip some parts of the Ruby and tried putting them together like a jigsaw puzzle.
"Hey, Marc, why'd you bring us here?" Home Run asked the boy.
This question caught Marc's attention, making him turn his chair to face them.
"You are all here for one reason, I need to help Sunset Shimmer, you three are here for insight, since you are amongst Sunset's closest friends." Marc said, then he turned back around to continue his project. Eventually it formed what he needed, Marc then stood up and went to his bookshelf.
"Insight?" Velvet asked. "What do you mean by that?"
He stood in front of the book shelf, looking for a certain book.
"Where are you, ah." Marc said. His hand reached for his copy of The Occult and Cults . He pulled it till he heard a click.
The bookcase began to slide to the side and revealing his study.
"You know, if any bad guys you un-alived over your adventures might have survived or had any friends who would want revenge on Ms. Shimmer." Marc said answering Velvet's question as he continued his project.
The study had several familiar items on displays, there was also two larger bookcase, a desk with some potions and a book, and a wand rack.
"We do't know any villains except the ones we've seen." Velvet said.
Marc walked to his bookcase filled with complete potions and grabbed a green vial.
"Oh, oh well." Marc shrugged. "I guess you can be here for moral support I guess."
Then Marc walked to the Ruby and dripped a drop of the potion onto it. The Ruby began to glow and the cracks disappeared as it mended itself. Marc then picked it up in his palm and walked back into his study, walking past a clay goblet, a gold broad sword with a horse's head decorating the butt of the handle, a gold orb, a gold shield, and a gold staff.
In the vault was also other trinkets from the multiverse, the Eleventh Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver, Sci-Twi's pendant, two lightsabers, one belonging to Darth Vader, and the other to Darth Sidious, and two Rubies pendants identical to the one in his palm.
He walked to the Rubies, which were resting on a satin cushion. Marc opened the glass case that keeps the rubies safe, many of his relics are behind glass cases, and placed his ruby in the center of the other two.
Then he walked out of his study and wordlessly sat down on his black desk chair in front of his computer, and started typing.
Then, he swiveled in his chair to face his guests.
"Now that that's done, Sunset, I am going to ask you some questions." Marc said.
"Alright." Sunset. "Shoot."
"Alright, now, do you have any enemies?" Marc asked. "At least, any still living, or might be living?"
"Well, Sombra, the Dazzlings, and-"
"I already cleared them." Marc said. "Sorry. Continue."
"The Grineer, the Templ-"
"Dead, very very dead." Marc said, then he realized what he did. "Sorry, again."
"Well, I don't know." Sunset said. "I was a huge jerk and was literally voted Biggest Meanie, and I'm not sure who'd be cruel enough to do this to me. But, about everyone in the school could have a grudge against me."
"Hmmm." Was all Marc said. Then he turned and started typing. "Sunday, do a suspect algorithm with the following variables; Wood family, distant relatives or friends that followed the family business. Dazzlings Psithyra and Changelings, while the latter is slightly unlikely, add them nonetheless. And finally, students at CHS with a talent in computer sciences. Also, get Pierce Network on the line."
"Pierce Network?" Home Run asked. "As in Mr. Network?"
His questions went unanswered as code sped across the main monitor and on the one on Marc's left was the face of the former hacker Assassin.
"What is it Marc? I'm in the middle of something." Pierce said annoyed. Then he got out of his apparent cover and fired shots at some Capone mob members wielding Tommy guns.
"Damned Capones." Pierce said as he ducked behind his cover as bullets nearly shredded the pillar.
"Should I hang up?" Marc asked.
"No. I'm almost finished." Pierce said. Then he tapped some buttons on his phone and the gang members were shocked by electricity and fell down smoking.
"Zap bomb?" Marc asked.
"Yeah, now, what do you want?" Pierce asked.
"CHS is suffering a severe case of Anon-A-Miss." Marc said. "I got a sample of Anon's email and I was wondering if you could trace it back to the person behind the computer."
"Marc, you know as well as I who she is. You just don't want to know." Pierce said. "Now, I've got work to do."
Then he hung up and the monitor went blank.
"What does that mean?" Home Run asked.
"Nothing." Marc said."I just have a strong suspicion, but I wanna have all my facts strait first."
"Okay, I've a question, what's with the knowing, yet not knowing?" Velvet Breeze asked.
"What? I don't know, yet not know." Marc asked. "I'm not omniscient, I was once, but my head nearly exploded, but that 's for later."
"Really?" Velvet asked. "Weird."
"Yes." Marc said, his eyes glued to his screen.
Soon the algorithm was finished and a printer turned on and started printing, three names were written on it in Cinnigaran.
Marc read the names in his head, trying to make sure he wasn't misreading. Seeing that his Cinngaran, and eyes, are sharp as ever, he grumbled and folded the paper and put it in his pocket.
The room was quiet for a few seconds, save for the calm breathing of the group.
Then, a question started nagging at Home Run.
"Okay, who are you? Really?" Home Run asked, catching the attention of everyone in the room. "Why would Velvet assume your omniscient ? And, how do you have a lab like this?"
"Agent Marc Wayne Kurtzman of the Freedom Fighter Imperial Alliance." Marc said bluntly. "I'm the host for an ancient God named Nebulass, and most people assume Gods know all, though neither me nor Nebulass know everything. And the lab was given to me by the FFIA."
"Oh." Was all the baseball player could muster. He'd seen some pretty weird stuff; living armor, aliens, Cy-ponies, another world, but this was a new level of weird. "That's cool, did Velvet and Sunset know about this before now?"
"Yeah." Sunset said scratching the back of her head nervously.
"We kinda got in the middle of an ancient war." Velvet said.
"Anyway." Marc said. "I'm rerunning the algorithm to make sure I'm correct, it won't be done till tomorrow, so, since tomorrow's Saturday, if you guys wanna, you can sleep over."
"Sure." Sunset said.
"Don't see why not." Velvet Breeze said.
"I gotta call my parents first, but I don't see why not." Home Run said.
"Cool." Marc said. "Let me show your my treasures."
He got up and brought the three and showed them into his vault
As he and the three walked along, Marc pointed out out his treasures and what they are.
"Pieces of Equus (You should recognize those), Sith Lightsabers from the Star Wars dimension, Pines Journals from Gravity Falls, Crown of Bethmora from Hellboy II, Sherlock Holmes' hat, a Terminator Head, Medusa's head (Don't stare at it please Miss Breeze), Pieces of Eden, The Eleventh Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver(That was the most difficult to restore), The Dazzliing Pendants, Psithyra's Dagger(Time Travel fun), Eye of Aggomotto, Time Stone, One Ring of Power." Marc said as they walked along.
"Hey, Marc." Sunset said noticing a broadsword on display. The blade was two colors, the right side was a bright red, and the left was an equally bright yellow side. The cross guard was styled like phoenix with it's wings rising. In the center of the guard was an amulet that looked like Sunset's cutie mark, it was a red sun engulfing a yellow sun. It was a truly beautiful sword.
"What's this sword?" Sunset asked.
"An...........ancient Cinnigaran relic." Marc said, choosing his words carefully. "Called the Sword of Twin Suns, but, usually just the Sword of Two Suns."
Soon the other two guests present took notice of the broadsword.
"It's beautiful." Home Run said.
"Hmm, I guess. Anyway, the Lab's more or less off limits if unsupervised." Marc said. "Plus, upstairs is where my Xbox One, video games, and other fun stuff are."
"Okay." Sunset said.
Then all four went into the staircase and began walking up after Marc closed the door behind him.
A strange looking robot was stalking in a small forest. It was a bronze color and it's body resembled a pepper pot, and its head was black and dome like. On the head was two bulbs on each side, the center of the dome had a black eyestalk with a blue robotic eye on the end. It's bottom half hilled forward and was covered in several large bumps, it's top half had two arms, it's left arm was small and resembled an egg whisk. It's right arm was black and resembled a plunger.
This creature is a Dalek, one of the most dangerous creatures in the multiverse and the bane of the Time Lords, long ago, they had a Time War, a war over all of history, against the Time Lords of Galifrey. The Doctor committed Double Genocide to stop them, the other race in that Double Genocide was the rest of the Time Lords and Galifrey. But, because they were scattered throughout history, some million survived and keep popping up as the Doctor's greatest enemy. This is one such Dalek. One Dalek can spell doom for a small country, and this is one of an entire fleet.
It hovered along and looked for it's target. Eventually, it saw a blue police box nestled somewhere in the wood, it hovered closer to it and scanned for temporal displacement energy.
It scanned positive.
"This is Dalek scout to Dalek Comand. I've found something. " The Dalek said in a robotic voice through his comm.
"What is it scout? " Said an equally robotic voice. "Is it the lost transport? "
"No, Dalek Sec. " The Dalek said. "I've found the TARDIS. I repeat, the Doctor is here. Repeat, the Doctor is here. What do I do? "
"Exterminate him. " Was all Dalek Sec said. "And all he's come in contact with. "
"Yes, Dalek Sec. " The Dalek said darkly.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
The Legend of The Gilded Alicorn.
In Equestria.
Princess Twilight was inside the Canterlot library's restricted section. It was a dusty cave with several bookshelves on a balcony with a stone staircase ending on either side of the front entrance. In the middle was a large wood table and in the back was a large fireplace with the fire roaring.
Twilight was reading several ancient history books. Some going back even before The Pillars, some Star Swirl pointed her to himself.
Twilight let a frustrated groan and closed the book she was reading.
The reason she was in the Restricted Section this time (ever since she discovered it, she's made frequent trips to read as much as she can) was that of favor to Sunset. She was looking up a name, one she swore she heard before; Light Sparker. But it's ten kinds of dead ends. She'd ask Princess Luna, but Sunset told her it's a Freedom Fighter secret, and she didn't want to intrude into the Lunar Princess' past too much.
So, here she was, hitting the books.
"Uhh." Twilight groaned as she rubbed her eyes and almost drifted off to sleep.
"Twilight, what are thou doing down here?" The voice of Luna asked, jerking Twilight from her tired-ness and causing her to open her eyes.
In front of her was Princess Luna wearing a worried face.
"Are thou alright, Twilight Sparkle?" Luna asked. "You've been in the Restricted Section longer than usual today."
"Yeah, I'm fine," Twilight said as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "I'm just looking for something."
"What are thou looking for?" Luna asked. "Perhaps We can help thee."
"Alright, if you insist," Twilight said.
"Huzzah!" Luna said. "How can We help you, Princess Twilight?"
"A name," Twilight admitted. "Light Sparker."
As soon as the name "Light Sparker" was spoken, Luna's usual demeanor was changed with an even more mysterious one.
"Why doth you have the sudden interest in this....certain subject?" Luna asked.
"Ummm, a friend asked me to look into it," Twilight said, slightly afraid of the Lunar Princess.
"Hmmm," Luna said, raising an eyebrow. "Is this truly what thou wishes, Twilight Sparkle?"
"Um, yes, Princess," Twilight said, curious and nervous at the same time. "As I said, it's for a friend."
"Alright, Twilight Sparkle," Luna said, as she went to one of the bookshelves, and pulled a book out in her blue telekinetic aura and placed it on the table. It was dusty and the title was faded beyond readability, the spine was barely in good condition, it had some small patches of spider webs on some areas. Yet the pages were perfectly preserved, but the writing faded, Twilight noticed this and was baffled.
"What's this book?" Twilight asked, looking at the ancient scripture.
"You will see," Was all Luna said. Then, Luna's blue aura formed around her horn, glowing and glittering. Then, she looked at the book and it was entrapped in her aura. After that, Luna began chanting a spell.
"Řë§țøřöţõ, řəvęřsé, fīxæþ, hűřaăķ, ťįmę, řęvêŕßə! "
As Luna chanted the non-Equine, restoration spell her aura changed from dark blue to baby blue, then from baby blue to gold, and from gold to white. As the spell ended, her aura changed back to dark blue as she placed the now-restored book on the table.
It had a white cover, spine, and back. On the front where there was once a faded title, now was several words written in bold gold.
"The Legend of The Golden Alicorn?" Twilight read aloud, confused. She looked back up at Luna, cocking her head and raising her right eyebrow in confusion.
"Yes. Twilight Sparkle." Luna said as she opened the book. "Allow us to tell you a story."
Long, long ago, when Equestria was new, and the Pillars were just formed, there was another member of the Pillars. This secret member, this unsung hero, was an Alicorn Prince, named Light Sparker. He was a skilled fighter and wizard who worked alongside the Pillars and helped them with their missions, normally from the shadows. Legends say that he had a coat of gold-color, he wore gilded armor and donned an unbreakable Gold Bastard Sword. He would try to help everyone he could, and like all good people, he would feel great guilt for Everycreature he couldn't save. He was against banishing Stygian to Limbo. but helped the Pillars nonetheless. But, before he could tell the Pillars about his plan for using Ponehenge, The Pony of Shadows engaged him in battle at Olde-Trottingham. They waged a battle, but Light Sparker knew his powers were harming civilians, so he held back, but it cost him his life in the end.
"Ohmygoshomygoshomygosh!" Twilight said excitedly. "Not only did an Alicorn work alongside the Pillars ! But, he was a PRINCE! And he DIED! What happened next?"
"Keep listening, overeager Twilight." Luna chuckled.
Over the next few weeks as the Pillars mourned their lost comrade, they focused their efforts to finding where the Pony of Shadow was hiding. But, one fateful day, a stranger approached. This stranger was none other than another Light Sparker, another Light Sparker! At first, the Pillars were happy that their friend was somehow back, but, this Light Sparker claimed to be a different one, stating to be from another world entirely! At first, the Pillars were skeptical, but Light proved it by speaking of his adventures in the Human World. Yet, he joined them in their quest nonetheless. He had requested that they don't record any evidence of being in Equestria though, but, he did allow Star Swirl to keep this tome if he wished it.
As days and nights passed and more Darkness spread, Light approached Star Swirl with a theory his counterpart thought of, "if we can not kill, nor reason with Stygian, how about we contain him somewhere?" At first, Star Swirl was surprised, then skeptical, but after the two mulled over ideas, they eventually reached the plan they will utilize; trapping him in Limbo! But, Light said if they used their artifacts in this manner, the bearers would be banished with him. They all accepted this fate, but Light offered to stay behind to not only return but to plant the seed they will leave so that it will bloom into powerful Elements for good. And that he did.
And once that was done, he disappeared from Equestria for good.
"And, Twilight Sparkle, that is where our story ends," Luna said, closing the book and putting back on the shelf with her magic. "Not what you expected?"
Twilight Sparkle took a moment to take this in. She heard history first-hoof, and she was both happy that her quest ended, but, shocked by what she heard.
"Certainly not," Was all Twilight said.
"So, are thou satisfied?" Luna asked. "Or, do We need to explain more?"
"Um, yes, I'm satisfied," Twilight said. But, another thought crossed her mind. "Did you ever meet him? Light Sparker?"
"Pony, or human as Pony?" Luna asked.
"Um." Twilight contemplated this for the second time. "Either."
Now it was Luna's turn to contemplate, she was very young at the time, so young, the second one called her "Woona". But, she remembered both clearly.
"The first one, I didn't see too often, but I saw him once," Luna said. "But the second one, he would visit me and Tia often, he even had a nickname for me; Woona."
"Woona?" Twilight asked. "Seriously?"
Luna chuckled."I was 6, and he said it suited me. But, I never complained."
"Huh, this is good to know," Twilight said, jotting down notes with a silver quill in a notebook she grabbed with her magic.
"Good, now, head back up and get some rest," Luna said. "We rose the moon 6 hours ago."
Hearing this made Twilight realize both how late it was, and how tired she felt.
Twilight let out a tired yawn and began collecting her items.
"Okay, would it be to much trouble for you to finish up?" Twilight asked she put as many books away as she could and put her notebook and sliver quill in her saddlebag. "I would, but, I have a train to catch and I wanna go home."
Luna chuckled once more.
"Okay, Twilight Sparkle," Luna said.
Twilight began trotting out of the room. Leaving Luna alone.
What she doesn't know about the second Light Sparker. Luna thought to herself as she telekinetically put books back on their shelves with her magic. Is that he recruited me for the FFIA.
Author's Note
Hi, sorry I'm late for this, I'm reading Fallout:Equestria, and it's really good. I'll try to balance my reading and writing/updating. And don't worry the fun part is almost here, still a bit to go, and, um, I'm leaving COL 0 alone till I finish this story, and I already got some more stories on the way after COL 0.
As always, leave your thoughts in the comment section.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
A (Not So) Brief Interlude
Kurtzman house.
Earths;EQG, 616 (Marvel comics/MCU), Prime Earth ("Real World"), Trollhunters, Transformers Prime/RID.
Marc Sunset, Velvet, and Home Run were each in the living room watching Arrow on Netflix.
Marc's living room was slightly spacious. They were sitting on a dark brown, L-shaped couch that took up the back wall of the living room and some of the left wall. In front of the couch is a wood coffee table that was littered with some papers and candles. On the left wall was an 8-box bookcase filled with comics and one box dedicated to cooking books nestled in the corner of the left wall. On the front wall of the room was a TV Stand with glass shelves and a Westinghouse TV that was playing the TV show. On the right wall was a doorway into the kitchen, on the left of the doorway was curio cabinet with several items from Marc's, and his brother's, younger childhood. On top of it were three Assassin's Creed statues and Action figures. Next to it was another bookcase filled with novels; Hunger Games, Harry Potter, a Norse Mythology book by Neil Gaiman, several R. A Salvatore book, Witcher, to name a few.
The three were drinking some orange Fanta sodas and relaxing.
"This is a cool show." Velvet admitted, watching as Oliver, one of the main characters was giving an oath to the elected mayor of Star City, the fictional city where the show mainly takes place in.
"Who's your favorite characters?" Marc asked, smiling.
"I like Thea Queen and Felicity Smoke." Velvet admitted.
"Nice choices." Marc complimented.
"Hey, Marc, can I ask you a question?" Sunset asked.
"You just did." Marc joked, then he took a sip of his Fanta. "Shoot."
"How'd you get your hands on Star Swirl's artifacts?" Sunset asked. "I mean, they were destroyed."
"Wait, how do you know that?" Home Run asked.
"Winter Break." Velvet Breeze said reflexively.
"Oh, still waiting for that explanation, by the way." Home Run said bitterly.
Marc let out a chuckle.
"What?" Sunset asked Marc.
"Nothing," Marc replied. "Anyway, back on point."
"How'd you get those artifacts?" Sunset asked again.
This question elicited a long pause, Marc was contemplating what to say. He went for the blunt, truthful answer.
"Things of extreme, god-like power, like the Pieces of Equus, leave a sort of.....energy footprint, let's say. And even though their physical forms can be destroyed, their energy lives on, the footprint. And people who know how to...track the footprints....could find the energy and harness it. Then, all one has to do is recreate the physical body of the artifact, which is no easy feat itself, mind you." Marc explained.
"Oh," Sunset said. "Cool."
They sat in simple silence after the explanation, watching the show.
Then, Marc's phone rang. He took it out and checked the caller ID.
"Shit, Worthington," Marc said looking at the ID on phone's screen. "I gotta go."
"Why?" Home Run asked.
"FFIA business," Marc replied. Then, he put the plastic green cap on his Fanta bottle and put it on the table and got up. "I'll be back if I’m late, order pizza or something."
The boy then walked into the mudroom, got on his trench coat, holstered his revolver, put on his cap, shouldered his satchel, and walked out the door.
Marc walked along the driveway and listened to his mission through his earbuds as he watched the video with the mission file.
The voice of Worthington came through, as the file flashed the images that went with it.
Now Marc, I'm sorry to cut into your time with the Seventh and her (current) friends/allies. But, we've got a mission. A young, blossoming cellist by the name of Octavia Melody called in, said that she thinks her roommate is a vampire. Now, I'm sure your aware of that rumor, but, you should prove it. Who knows? This could be our chance to get a sit-down with the Vampire Council of Clans Agent Change has told us so much about. You know the routine; see if she’s friend or foe. If foe: Kill her. If a friend, give her a means of contact, so that in the event she needs help, she can contact us. But, if she's fed on living humans, well, you know the drill. Sending you the address now.
Marc watched as the address flashed onto the screen, he read it and reread it to memorize it. But, he didn't turn off the phone, he waited a minute for the rest of the message to play. More often than not, Worthington would send a secondary message speaking about what he gained in the previous mission if the said mission was a success and if it was a failure, what they lost.
Also, good job with the HYDRA bust, almost everything is intact except for one item; The Chrono-Stone. You as well as I know it's capabilities: the ability to control and travel throughout time at will. The ability to tamper with time and not cause any paradoxes...at least ones the user wishes to avoid, including the whole Destruction of the Universe thing. From your report, he plans to change everything on your Earth into a new Nazi Reich, so expect a temporal shift. We are trying to detain him, but the Chrono-Stone is preventing all travel to times even a minute previous of January 1st,1946 on all of the merged Earths' timelines. Stay on your toes, Marc. And keep your Sword on your person, you as well as I know what would happen if someone like Fury gets their mitts on it.
Marc and Worthington shuddered at the thought.
Good luck.
And with that, the message ended.
Marc turned off his phone, but not before he summoned his motorcycle and set it to turn on his GPS. He walked over to the two-wheel vehicle and removed his cap, folded it and placed it in his pocket, and put on the Dragon Unit Motorcycle helmet he got earlier, he customized it as to avoid confusion, he painted it a dark blue, and the changed the visor to a subtle gold, he even programmed a HUD into it, complete with a radar, night vision, detective vision, co\m-link, infra-red vision, room for Sunday to rest in if Marc ever needs help from his AI on missions. Course, it doesn't have the auto disguise and transformative abilities his FFIA helmet and other hidden features does come equipped with.
Plus, he needed a new "Normal/civilian helmet" since his original one was lost to the depths of the Nightmare Realm after an adventure in Dimension 46'\ AKA The Gravity Falls dimension.
Marc mounted the Japanese Motorcycle and activated it, revved the engine, and drove off.
He drove along an empty freeway that leads to Canterlot City. He took in the sights as they passed by his vision.
He eventually reached his destination, he decided to park at least a block away and walk the rest of the way. It was in the more urban area of Canterlot, on the outskirts of the Suburban area.
Marc put up the kickstand and placed his helmet on the right handlebar of the motorcycle. He turned back on his phone, put in his earbuds, an turned on YouTube. He searched up a song he's had stuck in his head; Under Our Spell. He's had it practically engraved in his head for a week. So, he's finally given in and started listening to the Siren's villain song. He hummed along as he walked.
As he walked, he heard a scuffling.
He ducked beside the building that held the alleyway that the fight was taking place and put away his phone.
There were several people with dyed silver hair and wearing silver robes. They either brandished silver knives or silver guns (no doubt loaded with silver bullets).
The person they were attacking was a girl with pale skin and spiky electric blue hair with highlights. She wore a white blouse with electric blue lines on the shoulders and around the waist, blue jeans and white sneakers with hot pink highlights. She had a zipper on the top half of her blouse. The most significant part of her appearance was the thick sunglasses she wore. They had dark purple tinted lenses and black frames.
One of the robed assailants spoke and raised a knife to the woman's neck and spoke.
"Any last words, Bloodsucker?" The assailant asked in a feminine voice.
"Yeah, up yours." The woman retorted.
"Hmm, stubborn to the end." She said as she began to bring the knife down.
"Hey!" Marc said walking into the ally and catching everyone's attention. "The Hell is going on?"
The assailants adopted battle stances and cocked pistols, Marc noticed said pistols were equipped with silencers.
But, the one that was about to kill the woman gestured for the others to stand down.
She's the Leader, I should go for her first if a fight breaks out. Marc observed.
The woman had silver skin and eyes. She had a little badge of a silver crucifix on her right breast.
"We are ridding the world of a murderous freak ." The Leader said, putting as much emphasis on "freak" as she could.
"What makes you so sure she's a freak as you say?" Marc said speaking calmly, attempting diplomacy. "And if she is a....freak.....as you claim, what makes you sure she deserves to die?"
"What makes me so sure?" The Leader asked, smirking. "Let me show you, Mr..?"
"Kur-"Marc paused, contemplating whether or not to use his real name. "Tzman. Kurtzman"
"Well, Mr. Kurtzman, look here." The Leader said. Then she punched the woman in the eye, breaking the woman's left lens, revealing a magenta eye. Then, the leader she cut her own wrist, causing blood to drip. She put her cut arm teasingly over the woman's head.
The woman seemed transfixed, but looked down, at first, Marc thought it was in shame, but, her face contorted, Marc's second guess was that she was fighting some sort of internal battle.
The leader got bored and lowered her arm in front of her hostage's nose.
The woman looked transfixed once more, even more so when a bit of blood dripped on her nose, when that happened, Marc thought he saw her eyes flashed a deep crimson for a split second, but they quickly changed back to magenta.
"Do you see?" The Leader asked.
"I see you harassing a young woman for no reason at all," Marc said, a bit of anger in his voice.
"C' mon, freak, show him your true colors." One of the henchmen said in a gruff, male voice.
"Screw...You." The Woman said, her voice tiring.
"OK, screw this," Marc said, wishing to save the girl. "Let her go, or something's gonna go down."
"Like what?" A female henchman asked.
"Like an ass-whupping." Marc threatened.
The assailants chuckled. Yet the Leader didn't. Marc studied her face and posture, strange it remained neutral, in fact, throughout the entire conversation, she showed little to no emotion.
"So, your on the freak's side?" The Leader asked coldly.
"Yes," Marc said, a sureness in his voice.
"Hmm, you'd have made such a good member. Silver Crosses, kill him." The Leader ordered.
Marc took a moment to observed his assailants to think of a plan. But, he noticed something, the way they dressed, the way they died their hair, the fanatic hatred radiating off them that's directed to their hostage. Marc thought about this, and all these facts pointed to one thing for Marc.
Great, an anti-monster cult. Fun. Marc thought annoyed.
The cultists in the group brandishing knives, no, a more accurate iteration would be short-sword, charged at him.
One of the cultists thrust his Short-swords forward towards Marc, causing him to have to dodge left. Another cultist sliced at him, Marc ducked, but not before the cultist's blade grazed his cheek, making a large cut on his cheek and going back to his ear.
Marc touched the cut, he winced.
He began to will it to close, but before he could, a female cultist stabbed him, missing his lung by inches, while he was distracted by his healing. She removed her blade, causing Marc even more pain and making him cough up blood.
He clenched his wound, feeling warm blood rush over his fingers.
'Marc, your losing blood, I have a quick idea, but it'll sting, and it's temporary.' Nebulass said to his host.
I'm all ears, Nebbie. Marc thought as he punches a cultist who tried to charge him, but, it only disoriented the cultist, so he kicked him, knocking him out cold, but it caused more of his own blood to splatter.
'What if we used fire to cauterize the wound? ' Nebulass suggested.
OK, it'll hurt like hell, but, it's what we got right now without using Golden Energy. Marc admitted. Except, it reveals that we can use magic, for all we know, this could piss off the lady even more. So, I guess we should just white-knuckle it.
Nebulass sighed
'Or, we could wrap this up quickly.' Nebulass said.
Ah, Neb. You have no sense of fun. But, fine, I'll speed this up. Marc said as he unfurled one of his grapple blades. He made short work of the last cultist that was brandishing a short-sword. That, unfortunately, left the gunmen.
The gunmen took aim and fired.
Pfew Pfew Pfew Pfew Pfew Pfew Pfew
Marc did his best to dodge the bullets, but the confine of the alley prevented that.
Then, a sharp pain made itself known in his knee, and then another in his shoulder. They overwhelmed his senses and gave him a burning pain like someone took a sledgehammer to his knees and shoulder.
G-goddamnit! I'm still sluggish from the alcohol from AJ's house! Marc thought to himself as his body hit the ground.
'That's why I told you to speed it up.' Nebulass stated simply.
Then, he pulled out his revolver. His right hand was shaking as he took aim and pulled back the hammer with his thumb, he closed his right eye, and adjusted himself. The cross-eye dominant boy mapped a bullet trajectory in his head. Then, pulled the trigger. As he did this, he pulled out a needled vial filled with a green liquid and injected himself with it.
BLAM
The bullet missed by a mile.
"Ha, you missed." One of the cultists jeered.
"Yeah, I did," Marc said as he got up and put his arms at his sides. "But, it kept you standing still long enough so I can heal myself."
As he said this, he held up the empty needled vial as his wounds closed.
Neb, remind me to thank Thyra for the recipe for her healing vials. Marc thought to the Gilded God he was host to.
"Kill him!" The Leader ordered.
The Gunmen began to squeeze the triggers.
"Now, time for a Shocker of a lifetime," Marc said as he began to use his Electrokinesis.
Electricity sparked from finger to finger. Then, he pulled his arms back as balls of electricity formed in his hands. He thrust his arms forward as a blast of electricity hit the metal guns and shocked their holders, and as they were stunned, Marc ran for them and stabbed the closest on to him in the neck with his wrist blade. Then, he re-sheathed his wrist blade and clapped his hands together, it almost looked like he was praying. A cultist pointed a gun in his face, but Marc put his hand on the gun and lightning arced upward and a bright light flashed. Marc took his hand off the gun, and then the gun turned to dust!
I'm not kidding. The gun turned into silver dust.
Screw the "no magic" rule. Marc thought, wishing to speed it up, without using Golden Energy
Marc used the shock in the gun's former owner to attack him. He kicked the cultist's ankle, spraining it, and punched the cultists in the nose, breaking it, causing it to bleed. Then, he kneed the cultist's head and knocked him out.
"OK, just for the record, I'm a sorcerer, I'm WAY more powerful than the guy on Bleeker street in NYC, and I'm pissed," Marc said to the other gunmen. "So, who wants some?"
Marc watched as the last three gun-wielding cultists dropped their guns and ran as far and fast as their legs would take them.
Marc chuckled and rubbed his hands together. He heard the sound of a gun cocking and sensed a familiar metal.
"Turn around, slowly." The Leader ordered from behind Marc, her voice giving away no emotion.
Marc obeyed. He turned, he saw the woman was held in a headlock by the Leader. A blade on the woman's throat, a gun pointed at Marc. The blade was a foot long, silver triple-edged dagger, with the cross-section being a triple pointed star. The handle was wrapped in leather. The gun was a silver Colt revolver with a wood handle and a Pentagram engraved in the handle.
"Where'd some two-bit like you get a blade like that?" Marc asked shakily.
"First, I have a name, Silver Streak. Second, I got friends in.....low places." Silver said mysteriously with her normal cold tone.
"That, that is not something that's easily procured," Marc said. "Do you know what that is?"
"Ha, of course. It's an Angel Blade." Silver said, a slight smile on her lips. "But, you know what this gun's loaded with?"
Marc couldn't believe his senses. The bullets were the same metal as his sword, Godanium.
"How? How'd you get Godanium?" Marc asked anger and fear in his words.
"Oh. You're not dumb." Silver jeered. "Still, why would I show my hand before the game's even close to ending?"
Game? Is she in on the war? Marc thought to himself.
"Does the name "Nebulon" mean anything to you?" Marc asked smoothly.
"No, I don't think I know anyone by that name." Silver sated.
Oh well. Now, I'm gonna beat the tar out of her.
Marc charged, elbowing Silver's ribcage, bruising it. Then he twisted her arm, causing her to drop her gun, and he kicked her in the stomach, allowing the hostage to break free, and punched Silver in the face hard enough to knock her out.
"Thanks." The woman said, taking her broken glasses off, and threw them in an open dumpster.
"Don't mention it," Marc said humbly.
"Sweet moves, what was that, Kung Fu? And, when you turned that guy's gun to dust, what was that?" The woman asked.
"A mix of martial arts actually, and what that was was Alchemy," Marc explained matter-of-factly, curious that that was the only things she had to ask.
"Huh, Octy's gonna be pissed." The woman muttered alluding to her injuries and lateness.
"Who?" Marc asked, hearing the nickname.
"Oh, Octavia's a friend of mine." The woman explained.
"Oh, I was on my way to speak with her, I, help repair her Cello." Marc lied while plastering on a polite grin.
"Really? She's never mentioned you before." The woman explained. "And her cello isn't even broken. "
"Oh, well, may I still see, just in case, Ms?" Marc drawled on, extending a hand to shake.
"Vinyl Scratch, the best DJ in Canterlot." The DJ introduced, shaking Marc's hand.
The sound of footsteps grabbed Marc's attention. The two turned and watched as Silver Streak was running out of the alley and down the sidewalk.
Vinyl and Marc started to run after Silver, but she zoomed down the street using Marc's motorcycle.
"Dammit, how'd she even wake up that fast?" Marc asked no one in particular. "And HEY! SHE TOOK MY BIKE!"
"Yeah, she has a habit of getting away." Vinyl mused. "Sorry about your bike though."
"Don't mention it," Marc said annoyed. "Shall we go see Ms. Octavia then?"
The two started walking away, towards Vinyl's house.
Vinyl led Marc to a two-floor apartment with some faded white paint, but otherwise in good condition. It had a simple sloped roof. As well as two windows on each side the house and floor. The concrete pathway leading up to a stone staircase that leads to a small roofed porch. The front door was a simple spruce door with a steel knob.
As Marc walked behind the DJ, he subconsciously rubbed his neck with his right hand, not out of anxiety, but a memory. All though, that is a story for another time.
Vinyl opened the front door and invited Marc in, which he accepted and walked in the house.
They walked into a small foyer with a coat tree and a carpet for shoes. And a mat to kick the mud off shoes. There was an entryway to the living room on the right, no was separating the foyer and living room, in the living room was a large Equestria Girls version of a Dell TV on a decently sized wooden stand nestled in the middle of the back wall. On the opposite of the TV and the other side of the room was a dark-brown sofa and a gray-skinned woman with long, black hair, and dressed in sweat pants and a t-shirt watching the news.
On the opposite side of the foyer was the kitchen, the kitchen layout was as followed, there were a stove and oven in the right corner of the back wall. Next to the stove was a tile counter separating the stove from the sink. Under the sink was another cabinet with a dishwasher next to the sink. Above the dishwasher was a wood cabinet nestled into the corner of the wall. There were a fridge and freezer on the wall opposite of the dishwasher, Low's, Marc deduced.
At the back of the house were a staircase that leads to the second floor and a door that lead to the basement.
Marc began taking off his trench coat and hanging it on the coat tree when a segment of the news caught his attention.
"The body of a Canterlot High School Sophomore was found earlier today. Age 16, Smolder Drakus. Her body was found in the back of an ally with slit wrists and a knife next to the body, suggesting it was a suicide. Police are investigating as to the reason. Amanda Swinehart, Channel 3 news. " The newscaster finished as the woman on the couch switched the channel.
"Sad." She spoke with a British accent. "I new Smolder, we had biology together."
"Smolder?" Vinyl asked. "Man, Anon-A-Miss got to her, Octy?"
"It seems so," Octavia said absentmindedly. "Oh, welcome back, Vinyl, how was your shopping trip?"
"Unsuccessful." Vinyl stated while pulling out an ice-pack and resting it on her forehead and sitting at the kitchen table.
Octavia got up and walked toward the DJ and attempted to examine her forehead.
"What happened to you?" The cellist asked with worry.
"I got mugged, but Marc here saved me." Vinyl said gesturing to the boy in question.
Octavia turned and Marc still had a polite smile on his face.
"Oh, it was nothing, any friend of Octavia Melody is a friend of mine," Marc said simply, creating a confused look on the cellist's face.
"Friend? I thought you just helped maintain her cello." Vinyl asked.
"Well, no reason we can't be friends, right?" Marc questioned. "Well, Ms. Melody, why don't I go take a look at that cello now."
With this, Marc walked off and Octavia followed, beyond confused.
Octavia's bedroom had a spruce desk, oak-frame bed, bookshelf, dresser, and closet. The bed was in the center of the room and had musical note print sheets and pillows, and a cello print comforter blanket.
Her desk, which was located next to the bed, was a darkened cherry wood and had a black swivel chair and some sheet paper stacked in a neat pile a yellow #2 pencil on the right of the sheet paper.
"OK, I do most of my cello maintenance myself, and if I can't, I go to a repair shop," Octavia stated at Marc with suspicion. "So, who the bloody Hell are you?!"
Marc didn't respond, instead, he reached into his left Jean pocket and pulled out a dark brown leather wallet. He opened it, pulled out and showed Octavia his badge from the FFIA. It had his name, rank, clearance level, code name, and even Power level.
"You rang, the Freedom Fighter Imperial Alliance answered," Marc said simply, showing Octavia his badge still.
"Oh, I didn't expect Principal Celestia's agency to send someone so young," Octavia stated. She then saw Marc's rank, which was the following: Emperor, Head of Council, and High-Lord Grand Admiral. "E-emperor? Of what?"
"The Freedom Fighters," Marc answered.
"Really? Someone as young as you?" Octavia questioned with disbelief.
"Yes, but on Earth, I'm simply Marc Kurtzman." The boy said simply, suddenly, a thought popped in his head. "Where were you during the Friendship Games Rematch?"
"Hm? Oh, I was disqualified after the first round, Celestia gathered the students who were disqualified and gave them the option of either cheering on our fellow students who did pass, or go home or do a social activity of sots. I chose the latter because I had homework to do, as well as practice for my troupe." Octavia elaborated.
"OK. Good to know." Marc said to himself under his breath. "Anyway, why'd you seek help from the FFIA?"
"Call me crazy, but I think my roommate, Vinyl Scratch, is a Vampire." Octavia elaborated.
"OK, what made you think this?" Marc questioned.
"Well, at first it was little things, like when I cut enough to bleed myself readying supper, she insisted on suckling on the wound, and she did it so much that there wasn't any blood left in the wound, she drank it like, like a fine wine. The second time, when I served us spaghetti and meatballs with garlic, she stated she was allergic, and I'm pretty sure no one's allergic to garlic. But what confirmed my suspicion, was the blood bags in the fridge." Octavia elaborated.
"Blood bags in the fridge?" Marc asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, I was going through the fridge for a small snack, when I found blood bags, I confronted Vinyl about it, and she insisted that it was Fruit Punch juice, I continued to talk to her about it, even to the point where I took a sip in order to prove my point, once I tasted it, I spit the blood from my mouth and spilled the blood bag, but the rest of the night was a blur. I woke up with two bite holes on my neck and a crying Vinyl Scratch."
The bedroom was quiet for a few moments. Marc was carefully analyzing the story he had just heard. Not only Vinyl was a vampire, but she also lacks control, severely. While this was a chance to understand the vampire hierarchy and government better-and even infiltrate it- Ms. Scratch fed on a human, first, he has to check if Octavia was turned, after that, has a talk with Vinyl Scratch.
"Excuse me, but, can you do something for me?" Marc asked, reaching into his satchel and pulling out an antique silver hand mirror.
"What?" Octavia asked.
"Look into this and tell me what you see," Marc said, handing the gray-skinned girl the hand mirror.
Octavia held it up her face, and she saw her reflection, just like she should.
"I only see my reflection," Octavia stated, handing Marc the mirror. Marc put it back and pulled out a silver flask with a crucifix engraved on it.
"Okay, now drink from this please," Marc said, holding the flask in his hand outward, waiting for Octavia to take it from his hand. Taking the hint, Octavia took the flask in her hand, Marc watched this closely, looking for any sign of burning. She drank the water from the flask, nothing happened.
"So, do you feel any burning sensations?" Marc asked the Cellist.
"No, just tastes like water." Octavia shrugged and handed Marc back the flask.
"OK. Well, I got good news and bad news." Marc stated, putting the flask back in his satchel. "Which do you wanna hear first?"
"Let's get the good news first." Octavia requested.
"You're not turning into a vampire, these were all tests, you pasted with flying colors. That flask is silver, and filled with Holy Water, courtesy of the blessed Crucifix engraving, also, the reason I asked you to look in the silver mirror was to make sure you can see your reflection, because vamps usually don't have a reflection in antique mirrors like that because they reflect a person's soul, or as the lore goes." Marc explained. "So, you should be fine."
"OK, what year was that mirror made in, you said ancient mirrors, so, how ancient?" Octavia asked, thinking it could be useful, and why Vinyl shows up in the bathroom and bedroom mirror.
"The one I own is Circa 1896." Marc elaborated.
"OK, bad news?" Octavia asked hesitantly.
"I might have to kill Vinyl Scratch," Marc stated simply, shocking the cellist.
"What?!" Octavia whisper-screamed.
"Well, re-kill her, unless she's a Pureblood vampire, so it's just killing her, still, you heard me," Marc stated.
"Why?" Octavia asked.
"From the sound of it, she fed off you, so, I have to see how much self-control she has, and then see if she's fed off living humans before," Marc said. "And depending on how it goes, I'll have to kill her."
Hearing this shocked Octavia at first, but, after taking a moment to mull it over, she saw the logic in the boy's words.
"OK, how are you going to kill her?" Octavia asked.
"Why hoping your girlfriend doesn't feel to much pain if I have to end her?" Marc teased and watched as Octavia blushed. "It's all right, I don't care if your lesbian or bisexual, I honestly couldn't care less what gender a person prefers to date. Anyway, I'll use this." As he said "This" he rolled back his shirt sleeve to reveal his wrist blade gauntlet. It had the makings of a normal wrist blade, only the butt of the blade itself was attached to a steel/Godanium cable. The blade itself also had a small crucifix engraved on it and was a Holy Silver/Godanium alloy.
"The blade is made of Holy silver, the stuff angels use for their blades and swords, and something called Godanium, most powerful metal in the multiverse, basically every kind of magical metal combined into one and enchanted out the wazoo. Also, it can kill gods and is nigh-unbreakable. But, for a vamp, one stab from this in the heart, nice and quick. And all you need to clean her remains is a dust buster or vacuum." After that explanation, he fixed his sleeve. "OK, Ms. Melody, why don't we chat with our resident vampire now."
And with that, he and Octavia walked back into the living room. Vinyl was sitting on the couch with the ice pack over her eye still, but had turned on an Ebony Wings movie, in which she played an arrogant, but woeful vampire who worked for an anti-monster organization and killed vampires and zombies of sorts, Marc had seen it, and wondered if FUNimation was suing or not.
But, before they went into the living room, Octavia stopped Marc and whispered to him.
"Marc, she's my roommate, so is it OK if I tell her what's going to happen, or at least start the conversation?" Octavia questioned.
"I was actually about to ask you if you wanted to do that and start the speaking first," Marc confessed chuckling a little.
"OK." Octavia agreed before the two walked into the living room.
"Hey, Vinyl, we need to talk," Octavia said to the DJ, causing her to worry. Vinyl got up and faced Marc and Octavia.
"What is it Octy?" Vinyl asked her roommate.
"Vinyl, I know you're a vampire, don't deny it. Marc here is with an agency, he's going to see if your a danger to both humans, and yourself, and depending on how it goes, he will kill you." Octavia stated, giving no room for the interruption from her roommate.
Vinyl sighed seeing as she couldn't hide the truth anymore from her friend. She turned to Marc and examined him. His face was indifferent but his blue/light green eyes were examining her as well. He had his right hand in his pocket, gripping his pen, she didn't know why, but she felt a heavy, deep, psychological fear of it. He had saved her in the alley, and he didn't even know her, he was selfless, she could tell that, and ready to do whatever it takes to protect the innocent, but, now that she was a suspect and a danger, he had to be ready to kill her But first, he had to go through the usual.
"OK Marc, what do you want to know?" Vinyl asked him.
Marc took his hand from his pocket and walked a bit to get closer to Vinyl scratch and locked eyes. Marc smirked, it wasn't evil or mean smirk, it was a more relieved smirk.
"Simple stuff, your self-control, the vampire government, and inner circle, if you're a Pureblood or a Bitten or Daywalker or Dhampir and what that means in the vampire government exactly, stuff like that," Marc said. "And maybe some other stuff."
"OK, why don't we do this sitting down." Vinyl said, gesturing to the sofa. The two girls sat on the sofa, while Marc stood in front of the two. Marc grabbed a chair from the kitchen and placed it in front of the sofa facing the girls. Marc sat down and crossed his left leg over his right as he sat on the wood chair.
"OK, Ms. Scratch, please speak clearly and truthfully, speak as well as you can and be fair, I will know when you lie, if you do, I will take it as a reason to take action, resulting in a less, docile, interrogation. I promise to uphold my ends of this deal as well, are we agreed?" Marc stated, beginning his interrogation. "What type of vampire are you, sub-classes included if you fall into those types as well."
"Pureblood, My mom was a Pureblood, my dad was a human, but bitten by my mom before I was born." Vinyl explained. "And I can walk in sunlight, but that's normal for Purebloods."
Marc took out a note pad from his satchel and began scribbling that down.
"OK, how's your self-control, how many times do you get the urge, and how well do you handle it?" Marc asked.
"Um, at least thrice a day, but more whenever I see or smell blood." Vinyl said. "I might go to the hospital or a blood bank and borrow some blood to drink, the Council of Clans and Senate have an agreement with certain hospitals, but, in cases where there are large quantities of blood, like when Octy spilled that blood bag, I couldn't handle myself," Vinyl admitted.
Marc scribbled the new information down.
"OK, how does your vampire type, Pureblood, in this case, fit into the vampire government, and what type of hierarchy the vampire government is?" Marc asked.
"Purebloods have relatively more power than the other vampires, but Political power depends on which clan your descended from. The major Clans, the head vamp clans, are the following: on the top of the heap are the Tepes, direct descendants of Count Vlad Dracula Tepes III himself. In fact, his daughter is the head of the whole thing. Then there's the Draculs, cousins of the Tepes, and after that are this Japanese family called the Kurans, then there are the Frosts. And after that, is the rest of the Purebloods. Then the Dhampirs, but they usually keep to themselves. Bitten have barely any power, but are ambitious and try to work their way up. The Government type? A senate made up of the largest clans." Vinyl explained.
"OK, interesting, very interesting," Marc said to himself, then he scribbled down more notes. "Um, a personal position in the government."
"Um, I, personally, um, I clean up stuff, like keep us a secret, make sure not too many people we don't trust know about us, stuff like that." Vinyl explained as Marc scribbled all that info down as noticeable worry crept up to Octavia's features, and Marc noticed this.
"Don't fret Octavia, I'm sure Vinyl trusts you," Marc said, attempting to console her, once he was sure she was fine, he continued the conversation. "Continue, Ms. Scratch."
"That's it." Vinyl said. "Anything else you wanna know?"
Marc thought for a second, examining the two, he recalled that when he first came here, he was recorded on a camera early in the morning in his golden armor and dueling two demons. It was a miracle that the FFIA could suppress the original video, but not before it had spread to the internet. They never found the person or persons who recorded it, until now. But, that's if Marc's instinct was right.
"Where were you girls at least a few days before the Friendship Games Rematch at, at least, 4:00 A.M?" Marc asked calmly.
"Um, what does that have to do with anything?" Vinyl asked confused.
"Just answer the question!" Marc snapped, then he changed his mood to a softer one. "Please."
"Uh, I think he's talking about the night where we saw that golden man fight those demons on the rooftop." Octavia guessed.
"Oh, we were getting some coffee for Octavia's troupe at Cakes' Cafe when we saw this gold dude fight some demons. I got it all on video and posted it, but it was taken down a day later, but the power of the 'net beat whoever took it down and it was shared and re-shared. But, somehow it was taken down later." Vinyl explained.
"OK, A; I ordered it taken down. B; you caused a lot of headaches with that, and C; thank you for being honest." Marc said, rubbing his temples.
At first, Vinyl would have protested, but seeing her current position, she remained silent, and she of her agreed with him.
"Well, I must get going," Marc said as he got up off the chair and placed it back in the kitchen. Then he donned his trench coat.
"So that's it? Vinyl gets to live?" Octavia questioned as she got up.
"Yes, I know how to see the difference between an innocent soul, and a guilty one," Marc stated, looking at the Pureblood, then he walked back over to them and handed them a card with his and the FFIA's contact info on it. "Here, in case you ever need some more help. And, Vinyl, I'd like to speak with the head of the council, if you don't mind."
Vinyl nodded. "I'll see what I can do."
Marc thanked her and then left.
He walked down the sidewalk and went back to the alleyway.
He looked 'round and picked up the angel blade. It was standard issue, but useful. He put it in his satchel.
Then, he examined the revolver, to anyone else it was a simple Colt revolver, but Marc wasn't anyone else. He examined it, on the barrel was a Latin inscription.
"Non timebo mala ." Marc read aloud. "I will fear no evil."
He was gonna have to examine it more deeply, but if he was right, he could have one of the greatest weapons used for fighting evil. He continued his stroll and stopped where his bike was parked. His helmet was discarded on the ground. Marc picked it up to see if there was any damage.
Only a few scratches, good. Now, transportation.
Marc got his phone from his pocket to summon another motorcycle. He chose an electric blue Harley and drove it to his house, it was an uncomfortable ride, but he got there as dusk started to make itself known. He requested someone retrieve the Harley. Then he sent a text to Worthington.
Hey, mission's done. Almost all went well, we might get a sit-down with the Council. But, it seems this world has an anti-monster Cult called the Silver Crosses. I need you to look into it. Also, somehow, the leader of a squad I came across working for the SC had an Angel Blade and what might be the Colt revolver, as in the "can kill anything in creation aside from five certain beings" Colt revolver. I'm going to examine it, and if tests read positive, keep it for a rainy day.
After he sent the text and walked in the house. He hung his trench coat on one of the coat hooks and put his helmet next to it on the cabinet in the mudroom. He kicked off his shoes and put them on the black shoe mat.
He then walked into the living room and saw that Home Run, Velvet Breeze, and Sunset Shimmer had changed from the dark, gritty-ness of Arrow , and changed it to the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
"Good choice," Marc said, making himself known.
"Oh, hey Marc, how'd the mission go?" Velvet asked.
"Meh, I got a little roughed up, but did what I was called out to do." Marc shrugged.
"Cool," Sunset said.
"Y'know, I fought the Homunculi once. One of the toughest fights of my life," Marc said, sitting down on the couch next to Sunset.
"Really?" Home Run asked in disbelief.
"Really," Marc stated, stone-faced. "So, which episode ya on?"
"Only 04," Sunset explained.
Marc now caught up, got a cup of water real quick, then watched the anime with his friends for the rest of the day.
Author's Note
Sorry about the late and long AF chapter, whole bundle of stuff delayed me. Just a bit of world building before we get into the larger stuff. Also, for the 8 of you that actually like this, thank you, thank you a whole bunch. You guys/girls are why I'm still writing this.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
It was midnight, Sunset was living on the Queen-sized bed in Marc's parent's room when her journal began glowing and vibrating from within her backpack. Before Marc left on a mission, he had said that they could use his room, or his parent's room and the beds in each When Sunset asked where his parents were Marc answered by saying that his parents were on a vacation, and they could use the bed in there if any of them wanted.
Velvet was out in the living room, stocked up on her mangoes and energy drinks, keeping watch and Home Run was sleeping in Marc's room.
So, here she was in the said bedroom, with an ornate dark brown wood bed frame and head, with a small mirror in the middle, separating the two shelves, which were accented with a curved in the wood, while he went out tonight.
She got up and retrieved her journal from her book bag, which was resting at the foot of the bed. She pulled it out and lied back down on the bed, flipping to the page Twilight wrote in.
Dear Sunset Shimmer,
I looked into the name you gave me, and, well, there's some weird history behind it.
OK, remember that after the Rematch, you met Starswirl, and through writings in your journal, he told you how he came back to modern Equestria, and he told you about the Pillars and protected the young Equestria? Well, it turns out they had a secret member, named Light Sparker!
But, that's not all, he was an Alicorn Prince!
So, according to my research and what I've gathered; he was a secret member who helped fight Stygian when he was evil and the Pony of Shadows and helped greatly against him. But, he died in battle against him (I know, I was shocked too). But, apparently, another Pony identical too Light Sparker showed up, but said he wasn't their Light Sparker, he was a human! Well, a human in a pony form, but I digress. Apparently, the second one was the one who came up with the idea of banishing Stygian, and helped Starswirl invent the spell that banished him to Limbo, and even planted the Seed of Harmony and scattered their artifacts!
I will keep looking into this. I sent a letter to Starswirl asking him to come to the Castle of Friendship once convenient.
I hope this helps, Sunset Shimmer.
Your friend,
Twilight.
Sunset took a moment for all that information to sink in. The part of an Alicorn dieing especially shocked her. To her knowledge, Alicorns couldn't be killed.
"A second Light Sparker?" She asked herself, contemplating. "What else is Marc hiding?"
Tempest Shadow walked along the dimly lit streets of Canterlot, walking past a few people while going to reach her destination. It was silent midnight, few people were out, and only a few cars were seen passing.
Little to her knowledge, a figure watched from atop the rooftops. He was dressed in a certain trench/duster overcoat buttoned closed. A hood over his head, and a tactical helmet and visor covering his face. It covered his entire head, and the visor was a vibrant gold normally, with helm being white, but now it was all black. He ran over the rooftops as he followed the purple-skinned girl. He dodged over air-conditioning, jumped over large pipes, and gipped ledges when he would miss a rooftop.
Tempest kept walking until she bumped into someone in front of an alley. The figure stopped and examined the situation from his birds-eye view.
"Oh, sorry," Tempest said to the person she bumped into. He wore baggy clothes and was a little fat. A subtle stench on his breath told Tempest that he was no stranger to drinking his problems away. She had a feeling that, if she didn't simply move away he was going to either, mug her, or kill her. Not in the mood to get into a petty conflict, she began to continue her trek.
"Excuse me," She said as she moved to step around him, but a second man detached himself from the shadows and put his hand on her shoulder, and she felt the chill of a knife tip at her neck.
"Sorry, Lil' lady," The first robber said. "But, I and my partner here would like your wallet, now."
"Please, why waste your time on a simple girl like me? I've no money on my person the moment," Tempest said, attempting diplomacy. "Besides, I'm not in the mood for this at the moment."
The two men chuckled in bemusement.
"If you won't give me all your valuables, my partner here will gut you," The first thief threatened.
"Believe me, you don't wanna do this," Tempest said, beginning to grow annoyed. "Leave now, and I won't hunt down your families and kill them after I kill you two."
"Gut the bitch, we can loot her body," The first thief said to his partner, who nodded. Then, quick as lightning, Tempest turned and swiped her legs at the thug's, causing him to fall hard on the concrete, dazing him as he hit his head. The first thief whipped out a gun and aimed it at Tempest. "Your dead, bitch!"
He began to squeeze the trigger, but suddenly, all his nerves felt on fire, almost like he was struck by lightning. He was thrown back against the wall of the alley with a loud crash. Tempest walked over to him, chuckling evilly as rainbow-colored sparks danced around her fingers.
"I warned you that you didn't want to mess with me," Tempest chided as the man began backing away in horror. Tempest placed her right hand on his head. Then, an electric jolt was sent down his spine. Tempest continued, keeping a continuous stream of electricity, passing through his brain and heart, and melting his eyes from his sockets and burning through his tongue, muting his screams as his body thrashed and spasmed. Once she was sure he was dead, she backed up and fired more controlled bursts, vaporizing his teeth and fingerprints, then finally burning his face to the point of being unrecognizable.
With a cruel chuckle, Tempest turned to the partner, he was a bit lanky and dressed in baggy clothes.
Tempest almost pitied him.
She went to his unconscious form and stepped on his neck, hard. A loud cracking noise was heard, and the man's chest stopped heaving with breath. She then took both the dead men and put them in dumpsters, disposing of the bodies.
She fired a spark at the dumpster, a small fire soon starting and burning the two to ash.
The tedious task was soon finished and Tempest continued merrily on her way, the figure on the rooftops following close behind.
Tempest continued on until she saw the figure on the rooftops following from the corner of her eyes.
She smiled to herself as she went on with her walk. She eventually made her way to a remote part of Canterlot's park, and then spoke into the chill of the night.
"I know your there, Yang," She said, smirking. "Do come out."
The figure removed himself from the shadows behind Tempest, his arms in the pockets of his coat.
"Ah, there you are," Tempest said, turning to meet his hidden gaze.
"What are you doing out here, Fizzie ?" Yang asked, his voice distorted by his helmet.
"What, don't you trust me?" Tempest asked playfully.
"No, I don't ," Yang replied sternly. "What do you plan to do with the Decepticons ?"
"I assume D-11 told you of the little bit with the Godanium mine," Tempest mused. "To bad that Megatron got away."
"Why is Starscream's army mining Godanium ?" Yang asked sternly. "And why are Gumms-Gumms assisting them ?"
"That's for me to know, and you to find out," Tempest said. "Any other questions?"
"Yes, why did I recently find them mining for a Dalek warship trapped beneath Camp Everfree ?" Yang asked. "And why did our scanners recently pick up Temporal Warp Energy not belonging to the TARDIS ?"
"OK, the TWE thing isn't my fault, or the DBE's," Tempest admitted. "As for the mining, well, if Starscream wants to bring Daleks into his growing alliances, who am I to refuse him?"
"That's it ," Yang said, summoning a golden sword from his pocket. "I'm bringing you in for interrogation !"
"Shame, I wished to have a bit more fun," Tempest said as lightning began sparking around her fingers. Then it snaked up and around her clothes, then she was cocooned in the multi-chromatic lightning as it sparked and scorched the ground.
The lightning died down, and there Tempest stood, donned in her armor. It was a black under armor, with a grayish dark silver over armor, with a torso-shoulder piece, and arm gauntlets that stopped just below her elbows. with boots and leggings that stopped around her knees, with loose areas at her joints for maneuverability. On her right breast, was the faded Storm King's sigil. On her back was a dark purple cape.
"Now, how are we going to do this, you gonna come at me, am I gonna come at you, we gonna come at each other?" Tempest asked playfully.
"Surrender, and we don't have to charge at all ," Yang said, adopting a battle-stance.
"Oh, Yang," Tempest chided, charging a lightning ball in her right hand. She threw the lightning ball at Yang, forcing him to block as it exploded and blew him back. "Where's the fun in that?!"
Yang said nothing. He only charged, and blasted a beam of light at Tempest, forcing her to create a Lightning Shield as the lased was torn apart by the multi-chromatic lightning. She then retaliated by slashing Yang at the head, luckily, his helmet had the now fully-formed sword skid off, scratching the metal of the visor. It was a simple broadsword, only that the entirety of it was multichromatic and coursing with lightning.
Yang then blocked a slash from Tempest with his own blade. The two got into a sword lock, lightning dancing along with the two's blades. Yang attempted a gut punch with his left hook and clanged against's Tempest armor. But the armor absorbed the kinetic energy of the punch. Tempest replied by kneeing Yang in the gut, who grunted in pain, but dodged back from a downward arc of lightning as the two broke the sword lock, the ground singing black.
"Your skill is still as quick as ever," Tempest mused.
"And your deceptiveness still shows in your battle tactics. But, I guess it matches your title; Horseman of Deception ," Yang said, slight anger dripping into his tone.
"Gotta live up to the name somehow," Tempest teased before firing a blast of Lightning at Yang, who blocked with the sword and deflected it onto the concrete, burning it and making a black mark on the ground.
"Tempest, I ask again, why was there a Dalek Ship under Everfree ?" Yang asked once more in annoyance.
"As I said, I don't know! It's probably a remnant from the Time War!" Tempest yelled before a storm of lightning fired at Yang. Yang summoned a force-field as the lightning danced over it.
"The Time War never bled into other dimensions !" Yang said angrily. "Necrio Cinnigara Lavaluke! "
Golden beams shot from Yang's hands as he thrust them forward, and the energy shot forward to the maroon-skinned girl. Tempest gasped and fired a beam of lightning at the energy.
The magic clashed halfway with a loud screech and crackle.
Their magic crackled and hummed with energy as they pushed against each other for dominance. Yang pushed himself forward and put more energy into his blast, Tempest replied by increasing her own output as well with a grunt of exertion as she began to sweat.
Tempest smirked as she got an idea, then cut her own lightning off. She ducked down just before the magic hit her, disintegrating a tree behind her instead. Then, before Yang could try another attack, she hit him with a lightning blast dead on, sending him sparking and flying back in the air, before lying on the ground, wisps of smoke rising from his body and blade, which was at his side.
Tempest smirked in success. "Too easy. Better luck next time."
Tempest turned on her heels and began walking away from Yang, her armor dissipating as she mused to herself.
Yang was rusty, that was for sure, but that fight was way too easy. Unless he wanted me to win. Why? Is there a tracking device?
The Horseman of Deception stopped, and did a quick search on, looking for any bugs or trackers on her person. After a few minutes, she stopped her search, finding nothing. She turned back around and saw that Yang was gone, as well as his sword.
Tempest smiled to herself. What's his game?
She then turned again and began walking away.
The Nemesis bridge.
Starscream, current lord of the Decepticons, was looking out across the solar system when a Vehicon soldier walked up to him and bowed.
"Lord Starscream! I have the report!" The Vehicon said.
"Well, what is it, welp? I don't have all day!" Starscream ordered as he turned and faced him.
"Well, first, it turns out the report from the mine on Plutous held out, Megatron is alive, and a traitor having joined.......them ." The Vehicon reported, shock coming over Starscream.
Not only was the greatest threat to his rule alive, but having joined them ; the Freedom Fighters. An ancient order, powerful and skilled. Most dictators think them a myth, but Starscream was too smart to think that, having met their enemy a while back, at least a year after the Cybertronian civil war ended. Nebulon gave him an army, calling all the remaining Decepticons and crowning him king. He even restored the Nemesis from the smoldering wreck it became during the battle against Unicron, the Cybertronian Devil and God of the undead.
"A-and, what else do you have for me?" Starscream asked as he haphazardly adopted his more lordly mask again.
"That the intel from the one known as The Horseman of Deception held out, that there indeed was a ship containing the beings known as Daleks under the "camp" known as Everfree." The Vehicon reported.
"Of course it held out," Tempest said, making herself known after walking through a portal made from her lightning and dressed in her armor. The two Decepticons faced her and looked down, she looked like an ant to the giant Cybertronians. "Would I lie to you?"
"INTRUDER!" The Vehicons shouted as all the soldiers in the Bridge aimed their arm-cannons at the maroon-skinned girl.
"Screamy, if you wanna keep these soldiers of yours, tell 'em to stand down," Tempest ordered.
"And why should I? How do I know you are the Horseman of Deception?" Starscream asked.
"Because...." A dark, calm voice said as footsteps were heard behind Tempest. Walking into the room, was a tall man, with well-kept, space-black hair. His eyes were a piercing, dark midnight-blue. He was dressed in a dark black Tux suit. Strapped to his side, was a curved sword, with an intricate black crystal cross hilt, and in the middle of the hilt was a prominent, ruby-red diamond. The sword itself was resting in a long, in a curved scabbard. Yet, the most glaring and obvious feature was the two large, feathery night-black wings jutting from his back. The black dress shoes clinking against the metal of the floor as he walked in, an air of power around him as he walked in front of Tempest and faced Starscream. "I can vouch for her."
"Lord Umarac." Tempest smiled before bowing in respect to the Archangel. "I thought you were busy in the DC dimension."
"It was only a minor skirmish against Parademons and the forces of Darkseid. I managed to push them back sooner than I thought." Umarac said casually.
"Hmm, so he remembers?" Tempest asked.
"Yes, it seems that Emporer Nebulon, in his rage, seemed to gloss over some of the.....Council of Shadows' memories. No matter, it was dealt with." Umarac said before turning to Starscream once more.
"And you are?" Starscream asked, a metal eyebrow raised.
"Umarac. Harbinger and First Lieutenant to Emporer Nebulon. Head of the Horsemen Generals." Umarac introduced before bowing dramatically. "You met me during your first meeting with the Darkness Blighter Empire."
Starscream thought back to that day, Umarac was, if he recalled correctly, something called an Archangel. "Yes, yes, I do recognize you! Well, if you can vouch for Tempest, I'll allow it. Guards, stand down."
The Vehicons obeyed, transforming their guns back into arms and going back to their duties.
"Well, my ship is in orbit if you require my assistance. Either of you. I came here initially for some Dark Energon crystals from your lab. May I?" Umarac asked.
"Yes. I want two guards to escort him!" Starscream ordered as two Vehicons that were covering the door walked out with Umarac, going down the lit halls of the Nemesis , light purple lights illuminated the hall as they walked, disapproving looks from Vehicons and other types of Decepticons glanced at Umarac as he passed them, who once they were out of eyeshot, dropped dead on the spot and turned to dust.
Eventually, they made it to the lab, located deep within the ship. They walked in, passing through a large door that transformed as it opened for them.
The laboratory was large and spacious, even more so as it was designed for Cybertronians, which are usually as four to five times taller than an average human. In the middle of the room, was the Dark Energon floating in purple force-field which was two circular generators, one the ceiling, and the other on the floor. The generator had a Cybertronian computer built into it, it consisted of a screen embedded into the machine, and a keypad with the Cybertronian alphabet labeled on each key. And next to the screen were numerous switches and buttons. The screen itself was flashing with the information on the Dark Energon and the force-field.
There was a long metal table cluttered with different machines and tools and items, shelves filled with numerous vials and containers and other technical tools.
Standing over the table and looking at a small sample of Dark Energon through a large microscope was Shockwave. If Umarac recalled right, Shockwave's vehicle mode is a tank-based form. Shockwave had one right hand and one left arm cannon that never transforms into a hand, he has only one large optic sensor, a Cybertronian eye, if you will, which took up his face, and he has an ammunition belt attached from his back to his cannon. He himself was bulky, and a dark purple hue made up his plate metal color. Next to the microscope on the table was one of the mysterious Dalek statues.
Umarac chuckled to himself at the Cybertronians' fascination and fear of Dark Energon. Energon in general, if he remembered correctly, was the lifeblood of all Cybertronians. It powered their machines, fueled their ammunition. Acted as their power source. But most importantly; it was their food and blood. It was what they bled when wounded. They consumed it as sustenance. Energon was a major reason why the Cybertronian Civil War started in the first place, next to the corruption of the Cybertronian Senate.
Dark Energon was something else entirely. Also known as the Blood of Unicron. Unicron was the Cybertronian's devil figure. A dark god of destruction, death, and chaos. Lord of the undead. Dark brother to Primus, the Cybertronian's figure of worship, and the core of their world, who represented creation, life, and order.
Dark Energon was highly addictive and dangerous. When stabbed into a dead Cybertronian, or the ground of a Cybertronian Graveyard and spread, they would resurrect and become zombie-like beings known as Terrorcons, hungry for their fellow Cybertronians. However, when a living Cybertronian stabbed themselves with it in their Spark, their heart, they would be able to control the Terrorcons, but forever not be able to go to the Cybertronian Heaven; the Allspark, and join with Primus in eternity.
Rather, they would become thralls and slaves to Unicron.
"So, this is the feared Blood of Unicron," Umarac said, casting a critical gaze at the crystal and catching Shockwave's attention. "Fascinating."
"Yes, and highly dangerous. Starscream said you want a sample. How much?" Shockwave asked Umarac with slight annoyance.
"At least a quarter," Umarac requested.
"That large an amount? What do you Cinnigarans even want with the Blood of the Destroyer, and in such high amount?" Shockwave asked.
"Well, that's classified," Umarac said. "All you need to know is that Emporer Nebulon has use of it. Besides, you will still have enough to bring the Daleks out of stasis."
"That answer is insufficient," Shockwave insisted.
"Well, that's what your getting, Starscream knows my reasons and of the deal. Ask that idiot." Umarac said. "Now, will someone bring me my sample?"
One of the Vehicon guards, a flyer who had jet wings jutting from his back stepped forward but stopped as he heard Shockwave step in.
"I will handle it," Shockwave said, sticking his right hand onto the Dark Energon crystal, and pulled off a sufficient chunk. He bent down and placed the large chunk in front if Umarac.
"Impressive." Umarac smiled. "But, I still need to test it out."
He then turned to face the Vehicons. Then, quick as lightning, he unsheathed his sword and stabbed it through the spark of the Vehicon on the left, the body, pushed by Umarac with a flap of his wings, fell to the ground with the sword jutting from it.
The remaining Vehicon traced his gun on Umarac, who rolled his eyes. Umarac then removed his sword and cut off a small sliver of Dark Energon, which was as tall as him, and stabbed it into the Vehicon's Spark. The Dark Energon got absorbed into the Vehicon's Spark Chamber with a hum of dark purple energy coming from the wound, and his visor glowing a deep purple. The Vehicon jumped up, and pounced on his fellow Vehicon, ripping him apart while panting savagely. It then turned and faced Shockwave who readied his gun. But, as he charged, there was a flash of black magic around the Terrorcon, who disintegrated into nothingness.
Shockwave turned to Umarac, a smirk on his features with his right arm and hand outstretched.
"I trust it is satisfactory for your requirements?" Shockwave asked, his voice remaining monotone as Umarac lowered his arm.
Umarac smirked. "Yes. It'll do."
Then, black energy pulsated around the Dark Energon, which shrunk down to the size of a small rock, which Umarac pocketed before teleporting out of the Nemesis in a flash.
"I trust you and the Gumm-Gumms are getting along?" Tempest asked Starscream.
"Why yes, they are sufficient as guards and good at manual labor," Starscream reported.
"Good. Gunmar isn't causing any problems, either?" Tempest asked.
"No. While I find it ridiculous that monsters from the fleshlings' fairytales are working alongside us, he has been useful as well," Starscream said, smiling. "Of course, he respects my rule!"
Tempest had to stifle a snigger as she smiled kindly. "Of course. Well, I must take my leave. Give my regards to Shockwave."
Tempest smiled to herself as she turned around and opened a portal of lightning as she left as well, returning to Earth through the portal.
Yang watched from a rooftop as Tempest returned through a portal of lighting and exited in her normal clothes as he chastised himself.
First was HYDRA, then the Silver Crosses, now Tempest Shadow.
He was getting dangerously rusty. One more wrong move could cost him his life, if not something worse. He needed to continue his training.
But, those thoughts were pushed to the back of his mind. He turned around as Tempest trekked back to wherever she was based for the moment.
Yang scanned the rooftops. His bike was at least a block away from where he was located. He could always teleport there, but he was rusty, so he was gonna make his way there naturally.
He backed up a few feet from the edge, buttoned his trench coat along his waist, and transformed his sword into a pen before pocketing it in his right Jean pocket.
He got into a running start, taking in a deep inhale.
He took off. He ran over the edge of the building, jumping over the alleyway as he did so. He repeated this motion with every building he jumped over, dodging air conditioning vents and satellite disks, sliding over pipes and narrowly avoiding roof entrances.
He continued this pattern, getting closer to his bike. As he did this, he began to enjoy himself as he did, making a mental challenge for himself.
He then made his way to a large gap, most likely a driveway. There were only a few more buildings until he can get to his bike. He stepped back and got a running start.
He dashed off, the ground cracking slightly from the force of his launch. He ran, his footsteps echoing in the night as he made his way to the ever closer ledge. He made it, kicking off with his right foot and flying through the air for a moment, rinning under his helmet.
His grin faded as he began descending too early and too far from the other building.
"Oh, shiiiiiiiiiitttttttt !" His arms and legs flailing for something to grab on, only finding air as he fell.
"The Winds of Zephyr !" He chanted, catching himself a gust of wind bursted beneath him, beginning to slow his descent, much to his delight. Yet gravity had other plans, as he lost concentration in his happiness, the wind ceasing and he fell to the ground, crashing into someone's car, flattening the roof, and cracking the windshield as well as denting the black hood.
"Ow ," he ground, fining hat it hurt to move, so he just rested there for a minute, contemplating. Why the Hell didn't I bring Excalibur? Right, he's at home, guarding the group. Next time; I'm teleporting.

The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
A month after the Friendship Games Rematch.
Nebulon was sitting in his throne room alone, not even guards were in there, because he did not require any, anyone foolish enough to try to assassinate him would be killed in a matter of seconds, but Nebulon would make feel like a millennia's worth of pain, only those he summons were allowed in, and even then it was only a brief period of time.
It shared a similar design the one king Sombra had in his reign of the Crystal Empire.
Except made for bipeds instead of Ponies and on a dimension and time traveling cruiser instead of a crystal castle. The throne itself looked liked it was made of black crystals that looked like Sombra's, in reality, it was made of an ancient metal called Godanium. The ship, his Spear, armor, and his brother's sword and armor were also made of it. And it is a minor reason why the Cinnigaran civil war started. The true reason for the war was seeking out the Pandorax power.
But Nebulon was not here to revel in the greatness of the True First Civilization.
Nebulon is here awaiting one of The Horsemen Generals. Yes. As in the bringers of the apocalypse. But, they are also Nebulon's most trusted generals. And there are more than four. There are six exactly, formerly eight. They are Nebulon's response to The Council Of Light.
The Council Of Shadow was just a grunt squad. And failed one at that, they are lucky that Nebulon did not punish them.
Then the giant blood redwood, (Godanium, you can literally make it look like anything you want it to), twin doors opened, revealing a woman with dark maroon skin, her hair was a lighter contrast, she had emerald eyes, and a long scar over the right one. She wore silver armor with the Storm King's sigil on it, and a black cape. That pathetic excuse for a warlord did not even put up a fight when Nebulon went to his palace in Saddle Arabia, for he knew of Nebulon from brief encounters with the Darkness Blighter cults on Earth, and knew what it meant to not be in his fold and for him to grace you with his presence if his brother or host does not live in your governing area, or if he is not there to recruit you. It means a slow death, and him stealing something of value to him.
His Storm guards found him dead the next morning, and his top general gone.
"You summoned me, milord." The woman said walking towards the throne with calm haste and bowing slowly.
"Tempest Shadow. " Nebulon said. "The COS has failed and my brother has risen from the grave. I need you to go to Earth, find the host, split the Mane 7 apart, and bring the host to me! "
"I will see it done, Milord." Tempest Shadow said calmly, even though a part of her was afraid. "Anything else?"
"Yes. " Nebulon said frowning.
"What is it, Milord?" Tempest Shadow asked looking up.
"I've merged Trollhunters and Transformers to His universes, as well as Doctor Who, careful, Daleks, Gumm-Gumms, and Decepticons have a.....rocky allyship with us, especially since they always try to kill us if we try to interfere with them. Or us, them. " Nebulon said slightly snickering.
"Yes, Milord." Tempest Shadow replied quickly. "Heil Dakar."
"Heil Dakar. " Nebulon answered swiftly, then he waved his right hand, telling Tempest to get up and go.
Tempest complied hastily and left.
"What are you planning, Marc Wayne Kurtzman? " Nebulon said to himself as he pulled up a holo picture of a boy. This boy had dirty blonde hair and green eyes. His skin was Caucasian. His face had two or three pimples on it. The name in bold floating next to the picture read:
MARC WAYNE KURTZMAN
THREAT LEVEL: ALPHA/OMEGA
AGE: UNKNOWN
DATE OF BIRTH: UNKNOWN
CURRENT ADDRESS: UNKNOWN
MAGIC LEVEL: N/A
PREFERRED WEAPON: SWORD
ATTACK ON SIGHT
Marc woke up with a start as he was woken up by a constant, annoying beeping. He turned to his LEGO Batman movie clock resting on his head bored and pressed the head, turning it off tiredly.
"Stupid clock," Marc said grumbling. Then he saw the time and mentally cursed himself.
Then got up with tired haste, took off his Darth Vader PJ's and put on his blue jeans, brown leather belt with a golden buckle, white socks, and dark green polo. Then he walked out of his dimly lit room and went into the house's mudroom. It had a slightly tacky leather carpet. There was a shabby wooden chair with one leg duck taped next to a black two-door end table, on it was a basket for keys and a lamp that was turned on. On the wall opposite Marc's room's door were two shoe trays and a brown trench coat hanging on a command hook.
Marc got his blue shoes from the left tray, whacked them together to make sure there was nothing living inside of them, after that he put them on and went to the living room.
Once there, he pivoted and went into the kitchen to prep breakfast, or breaky as Marc referred to it. He quickly got two waffles from the freezer and put them in the toaster oven and set it to 'half toast.'
While the toaster oven was ticking, Marc got bored and went to the living room, sat on the couch, and turned on the TV.
"Let's see what crap is on today." Marc thought aloud.
The announcer on it said, "And now we take you back to the My Little Pony marathon."
"Cool." Marc said as the theme song played as Marc did his best to sing along."My Little Pony, My Little Pony."
Then the toaster oven dinged catching Marc's attention. Marc walked over to it still humming along to the song.
He set the waffles onto an aquamarine plate, he got a napkin, a silver fork, and butter knife, he poured himself some apple juice and sat down on the kitchen table and ate silently.
After that, he quickly put the dishes in the sink.
He walked into the mudroom, strapped on his wrist blades under his shirt and put on the trench coat. Then he grabbed a gray baseball cap that had a red A inside of a circle of the same color.
"Allons-y," Marc said to himself as he walked outside.
As he walked along, he pulled out his cell phone, then a random thought occurred to him.
"I kinda look like Aiden Peirce from Watch_Dogs." Marc thought. "Or Peirce Network from Bloodlines. Only I don't monologue, much."
Then he caught a bus and went to Canterlot. Ready to start the day.
After the Friendship games rematch in my last story, he could not wait to see the Mane 7 or Velvet.
When he got to CHS, he was greeted by the girls who were waiting by the statue base.
They noticed him coming over and greeted him.
"Hey, Marc," Sci-Twi said.
"Hi, Twi," Marc said. "Ready to start the day?"
"Yes." They all said as they all walked inside.
The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
The Doctor reads Marc's journal.
The Doctor was sitting at his desk, thinking.
A new student; Tempest Shadow, said to be wary of Marc and he isn't what he seems.
Yet Tempest herself looked as if she was hiding a great secret as well.
But right now, The Doctor was contemplating what to do.
When he first got to this school, there was a giant temporal and spacial anomaly that he felt rattle the entire TARDIS. In short, this school shouldn't exist in his world. Yet that's what confuses him. His TARDIS can't safely cross the Void so it's impossible for him to be where he is. That and the anomaly was not natural, but that's all he really knows about his current situation.
But I'm tangenting again.
Right now he's contemplating what Tempest said. She said "if you wish answers about Marc, read the journal and Codex he has in his satchel, but not the journal with the weird symbol on it. That one is useless for you."
And even though he does snoop usually, he feels like he shouldn't this time.
"Ah, what the hell." He said finally.
He reached for the Codex and the journal. The Codex was a few inches thick. It had a yang symbol on it, aside from that, it was a pretty bland looking book. The journal was a better looking book. It had a blue cover and a strap keeping it together, now, I'll give you a few entries, the important ones anyway.
Date: 6/10/16
Dear diary,
Today you showed up on my door step with some sort of Codex and a second journal. Pretty Strange, Doctor Strange? So let's get to know each other. My full name is Marc Wayne Kurtzman and I'm 12 years old. I like Doctor Who, Marvel comics, DC comics (DC's better), My Little Pony, and few other things. I'll use you as often as I can.
Marc Wayne Kurtzman.
Date: 6/16/16.
Dear diary,
Okay, some pretty weird shit happened today. While in school, I kept seeing, super villains. Uh, mystical ones mainly. Mephisto from Ghost Rider, Dormammu from Doctor Strange. And I think Damian Darhk from Arrow. What the Hell is happening to me!?
Marc Wayne Kurtzman.
Date:12/8/16
Well, sh*t has really hit the fan. It turns out that my daydreams about an ancient civilization called Cinnigara are true! When I was younger, I imagined myself walking among my heroes. But, I envisioned a Before-Universe that existed long before the multiverse. But to make it interesting, I thought up a super villain called Nebulon and a hero to match his power; Nebulass, but the good news and bad news is; it's all TRUE! I start training today. I'll go dark for a bit, so I'll keep this up next year.
Marc Wayne Kurtzman.
Date:4/3/17
Gorramit! I wish I can get drunk sometimes. It seems Nebulon knows who I really am. I came home from school today only to find a mind-controlled Grimstone Ashenwing taking my parents and little brother. I am leaving the FF. They can get along with out me. I will now spend as much time as I can looking for them, and when I get my hands on Nebulon. He. WILL. Know. True. PAIN. And. FEAR when I'm done with him.
After The Doctor read the journal, he was more than a little shocked.
'This kid is nutter.' The Doctor thought. 'Then why would have Tempest pointed this out to me? Prank?'
His thoughts were broken when someone started to knock on the door for the class.
The Doctor hastily put away the journal in the satchel and the Codex he did not read yet.
"Enter." The Doctor said calmly.
The door opened to reveal Marc behind it.
"Ah, Marc." The Doctor said trying to not look suspicious. "What are you doin' here?"
"Just came for my satchel." Marc said casually.
"Alright." The Doctor said handing Marc the satchel. "Here."
"Hmmm." Marc said checking it.
"What is it?" The Doctor asked.
"Nothing, Doctor." Marc said putting it on his shoulder."Hahaha."
"What?" The Doctor asked annoyed.
"Noting, just a funny line from the tenth Doctor when he went undercover as a physics teacher." Marc said.
Then Marc walked out of class, leaving a very confused Doctor.
"H-he knows about me?" The Doctor asked himself. "How?"
Outside.
"The look on his face!" Marc said snickering as he walked.
Then he cringed a little as a second voice spoke in his head.
'That was very stupid, Marc.' The voice said.
"Oh, come on Nebulass." Marc said walking down the hall. "Light-en up."
'ha, ha, ha.' Nebulass said sarcasticly at Marc's pun. 'What if we get caught?'
"We won't." Marc reassured the old God.
'If you say so.' Nebulass said with wary as Marc exited school for the day.

The Doctor, Trollhunters, and Team Prime Teens.
Author's Note
This chapter is mainly explaining who's Who for anyone who doesn't know who they are. Skip If you wish if you know who they are. Just, watch the shows. They're awesome.
Also, tell me any errors, grammatical or story-wise, and I'll try to fix it.
The Doctor, Trollhunters, and Team Prime Teens.
Jim was laying in his motel bed. It was Queen-sized, with a gold blanket, beige sheets, and white pillows. He forgot what the motel was called, only that the Team Prime teens where checked into a room next to the one he, Toby, and Claire were sharing. He was recalling how he got to Canterlot. It all happened so fast. One moment, he was training with Merlin and a group of trolls during one of the breaks on their journey from California to New Jersey in search of something called a Heartstone, the next, that black armored figure with the Godlike powers gave Jim his human form back and told him to go to Canterlot and take Marc's sword in exchange for a new Heartstone under Canterlot.
I realize that this confuses you. Bit of a backstory before we go further. James Lake, Jr. is something called a Trollhunter, a protector of good Trolls that used to live underground in a Californa town called Arcadia Oaks. One day when biking to school, he saw a large pile of rocks, and in the rocks was a blue glow and an ancient artifact was calling his name ominously, prompting him to take to school with him before he is late. Said glow was an ancient artifact called the Amulet of Daylight, made by Merlin himself. The rubble turns out was the Trollhunter before Jim, Kanjigar the Courageous, who died fighting an evil Troll called Bular, son of Gunmar, the king of the Gumm-Gumms, a group of Trolls so evil, that Merlin created the Amulet to battle them and the forces of Morgana La Fey. One of the Trollhunters, Deya the Deliverer managed to banish them to the Darklands; a pocket dimension, which as Jim's girlfriend Claire so eloquently put when they went there,
It looks like an Esher painting threw up in here!
After school and Jim found the Amulet, he was going to sell it online, but strange noises in his basement prompted him to investigate. Upon going down there, a blue-skinned, four-armed, six-eyed Troll introduced himself, freaking Jim out. In his fear, he ran into a large gray-skinned, Hulk-like, pacifist Troll called AAARRRGGHH!!!. After he calmed down, the two told him that he's been chosen as the new Trollhunter and was now destined to protect the good Trolls from the forces of evil, this caused Jim to faint, and the two Trolls left.
Then, he was going to tell his English teacher, Mr. Walt Strickler, but thinking that he won't believe him, told the man that he was trying out for the chess club at the last minute. Little did he know, Strickler knew about the Amulet, Trollhunter, and Trollmarket because he was a Changeling that was working with Bular who needed the Amulet to activate the Kilahead Bridge, a gateway that Deya used to banish the Gumm-Gumms in the first place and that earned her title of Deliverer, and bring back the Gumm-Gumms to conquer the world, with the help of Morgana, who was imprisoned in the Californa Heartsone.
That was just his first few days after he got the Amulet.
Long story short, he found an Amulet, became a hero, fought some baddies with his buddies, and saved the world. Only, when Morgana was freed a brought about the Eternal Night, Jim had to become half-troll to better battle Gunmar. And, once that was done, he couldn't become fully human again. Never able to walk in the sun, or see his friends. Neither troll, nor human, forever, half-troll, and half-man.
At least, until he made the deal with that dark being.
At least a week after he and the Trolls had settled in New Jersey under Clifton.
Troll-Jim was training with Merlin in the newly created training hall in the underground. It was large and circular. And on the edges of it were the statues of Trollhunters past. Jim was in his half-Troll form; Jim's skin pigment was blue, his hair was longer, blacker, and unkempt, he had two lower fangs, large horns, and pointy ears. His right hand was bigger and didn't have the pinky finger, becoming more troll-like, while his left-hand remained human but armored in the Eclipse armor. The Eclipse armor itself was a suit black of knight's armor, complete with breastplate, pauldrons, red trimmings, greaves, and sabatons. The Amulet of Eclipse was mounted on his left chest. Merlin had a white beard, and armor similar to Jim's, only it was green and had white linings. In his hand as the Staff of Avalon. It was a staff made of light grey metal, with a crook in its length about halfway, giving it the profile of a lightning bolt. Atop its tip are a pair of prongs, both supporting an emerald prism at its head. The entire staff has engravings along its length, giving it a soldered together appearance.
"Well done, James. You've adjusted well to your more Trollish abilities," Merlin complimented once the two finished training their training.
"Thank you, Merlin. And it seems your magic is returning bit by bit," Jim said to the wizard.
"Yes, it feels good to b back," Merlin chuckled. "And, to think, only a month ago you had defeated the greatest evil in the world."
Troll-Jim was about to reply, but suddenly a black portal opened, and a mysterious being wrapped in black appeared before the two, his face was visible, and had what seemed like a shard of metal embedded in it, but it resembled half a mask for it didn't cover his mouth, and had a hole for his eye.
"Hello, James Lake Jr., Myddrian Wilt ," The figure said.
The two adopted battle stances.
"Who are you?" Jim asked with suspicion.
"I am known by many names. Many Faces. But, it matters not, what does matter is that I have an offer to make you ," He said.
"What sort of 'offer'?" Merlin asked with suspicion.
"Bring me the source Golden Energy you saw, all that time ago, and you will be able to turn from human and troll at wil ," He offered Troll-Jim.
"How can you grant such a wish?" Merlin questioned. "Even I , Merlin, cannot change him back, let alone allow him to change his form to and fro at will."
"You are but a mortal wizard, I, on the other hand, am something, entirely different ," The figure said.
"What are you then?" Merlin asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It matters not, wizard !" He said, then he turned to James. "But, I digress. James, do you take the deal ?"
As He spoke, he extended his hand, waiting for James to shake it.
"I..." James stopped. Should he do this? Deals like this, always have a catch. "What's the catch? My soul?"
"No. Nothing so, barbaric. No, as I said, get me the Golden Energy, " He said.
"And what is this Golden Energy?" James asked.
"Something, rightfully mine, taken long ago from me, give it to me, and you will get to walk in the sun again, " He said with finality.
"Hmmm, so, I just get you this Energy, and I get to use all this at will? I still feel like there's a catch to this," James said, dropping his battle stance.
"Well, the Golden Energy does have a..keeper of sorts. It's your choice on how to approach him, " He admitted. Then he extended his hand. "Do we have a deal? "
James shook his hand.
"Yes," James said as he gave in. Suddenly, a light wrapped around his body, shifting it, changing it to a more, human form.
The light and died down, and he was in his human form once again.
James looked at his now human body in shock.
"Don't disappoint me, " The figure said as he disappeared in a puff of shadows.
Team Prime Teens.
Jack was sitting at the desk in his hotel room, looking at his computer for history about the area. One moment, they are in the Junkyard with the Bee Team and Team Prime, then Optimus' chest shot out a pillar of Light. Apparently, it was something called "Golden Energy"; pure, raw, magical energy. Apparently, Jim was here looking for the source of it too.
You see, Jack lived in Jasper, Nevada working at a wannabe McDonald's called KO Burgers. One day, after work, there was an unclaimed blue motorcycle, of which he sat in to try out, but it turns out it was an Autobot named Arcee. Unfortunately, they were spotted by two disguised Vehicons and thought that Jack was an ally of the Autobots. A chase ensued, ending with Arcee tossing Jack off in an alley, and telling him he never saw her. That was when his adventure started. Later Raf and Miko were all wrapped up into this when the Vehicons returned, and attacked them, forcing Bumblebee and Arcee to step in, Transform in front of them, and defend them for the first time. They were forced to bring the three into Team Prime and Autobot Base in the outskirts of Jasper, assigning them to a bot. Arcee to Jack. Bumblebee to Raf, and a Wrecker named Bulkhead to Miko.
That was only the beginning.
They became heroes, with Miko becoming a human Wrecker, Raf being a key assistant to Ratchet and adapting Cybertronian technology to be used with or through human technology. They traversed Cybertron's ruins. They helped fight against the Decepticons and were a crucial part of keeping Megatron from Cyberforming Earth and helping kill him. Although, a short while after the bots returned to Cybertron, Unicron used Megatron as a vessel, which Miko dubbed Galvatron, and nearly destroyed Primus, Cybertron's core. After Megatron was freed, he abolished the Decepticons and flew into Exile. Apparently, crashing on Earth and meeting Marc.
Jack continued to stare at the screen of his computer, trying to get a history of this town and county that, until a few weeks ago, didn't even exist! This is beyond weird. Jack sighed, and closed his computer. He trudged towards an empty bed, and slumped down.
I'll figure out this weirdness tomorrow. Jack decided before sleep claimed him.
The Doctor remained in his office at Canterlot High long after the school closed, investigating the area.
One moment, he's flying through TIme and Space in his TARDIS with Bill Potts, the next, it began quaking violently and crashed on this Earth. Shame, he was gonna show her this weird ship that's suspended straight up in a black hole, and not getting sucked in.
You see, the Doctor is an Alien from the planet Gallifrey, which is located within a binary star system in the constellation of Kasterborous at galactic coordinates ten-zero-eleven-zero-zero by zero-two from galactic zero center some 250 million light-years away from Earth. And, the race inhabiting it are beings called Time Lords. They are similar to humans in most ways, aside from lower body temperature, they have a Binary-Vascular System, meaning he has two hearts, which he's named RIghty and Lefty. Also, when he "dies", his cells regenerate into a new body. The current one we are seeing now is his Twelfth. Well, technically Thirteenth counting the one that looks like John Hurt, but he prefers to forget about that one, seeing as that was the skin he was in when he committed Double Genocide on the Time Lords and the Daleks. Although, since the Daleks were scattered throughout TIme and Space they were unaffected by the Double Genocide. TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space and it comes with a camouflage feature, but his TARDIS is broken and stuck as a blue British Police Box.
Anyway, he was on his way to this weird colony ship that was stuck between a rock and a hard place. The top of it was stuck, suspended in a black hole, and the bottom was in free space, but because it was large enough to hold a planet's worth of people, it had humongous engines, engines large enough to stay off a black hole's gravitational pull. But, as he and Bill were about to break from the Vortex, the TARDIS began to shake violently, and then, somehow, multiple histories were merged as four other dimensions merged with his. "Impossible" doesn't even describe it. But, the Doctor was currently searching the Principal's office for answers.
"No, no, no." The Doctor grumbled. "While this area has a history of high energy phenomena related to it, none of these events come close to how this world even exists in conjunction with mine now."
The sound of a woman clearing her throat caught the Gallifreyan's attention. The Doctor shot up and turned, Principal Celestia was standing in the doorway, a cross look on her features, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Doctor, care to tell me why you are snooping through my office?" She asked sternly.
"Um, I was just curious. The new area I'm in and all that. Trying to learn a bit more about the school." The Doctor lied with a sheepish smile. REALLY! That was your best lie? That's ridiculous!
Celestia was unamused. "You do realize you could've asked, instead of picking my lock and rooting through my files?"
"Well, forgive me, one of the last schools I taught at had bat-like monsters that wanted to become veritable gods." The Doctor said, recalling that embarrassing time in his Tenth incarnation. "So, sorry if I don't exactly trust the other staff."
Celestia raised an unamused eyebrow. But wavered. "Just....get out of my office. You're lucky I'm not firing you."
"Thank you, won't happen again," The Doctor said. But as he left, he heard Celestia mutter to herself.
"Why can't that damned Time Lord leave well enough alone?" Celestia grumbled at the mess. "But, I don't blame him too much. But did he have to make a mess of my office?"
