Once long ago, a human was summoned to Equestria to help aid Celestia's and Luna's ancestors. That was 30000 year ago, during a time when the lands of Equestria were much more grim and unstable.

Now he lies, at the depths of an ocean far in the north just off the coast of the changeling lands. The current era looks bleak to say the least. The Changeling land's have formerly united the hives, a new Griffin Empire that is slowly militarizing on the other continent. Now the Equestrian Empire and the Crystal Empire alike are in a vulnerable position, as diplomacy has strained with these new nations.

Luckily, Equestria has a once long forgotten human being thrown into the mix. This man after his long hiatus from the world of Equestria reawakens to rekindle hope and to keep a promise he made long ago. But perhaps, he might just stir the pot and ignite events; causing consequence that leave even the mightiest of Equestria's scholars dumbfounded...
