Chapters Luna's Return to Canterlot
Shortly after Luna's welcoming home party Celestia and Luna go back to Canterlot. Celestia had a feast put together as this would be her little sister's first meal in a thousand years. On their way back Luna, despite being gone a thousand years, could tell that her sister was not as happy as she was before they left Ponyville. Luna, wanting to reconnect with her sister, asked with concern, "Is everything ok? You do not seem quite as happy as you did before we left."
Celestia replied, "Oh it is just a matter of how things are after you leave a party. You wish it could last longer but it doesn't. Don't worry about it. There is a big surprise waiting for you at the palace when we get home."
When Luna was transformed into her normal self from Nightmare Moon, she was reverted to a more juvenile form of herself. She asked, "Really Celestia?" She got a huge smile on her face and asked, "What is it?"
Celestia smiled warmly and laughed, "Oh silly, it won't be a surprise if I tell you now!"
Luna smiled and waited anxiously for them to return home. She had been gone for so long that anything outside of being trapped would be an improvement. Once they returned to the castle Celestia said to Luna, "Close your eyes Luna, your first surprise awaits you."
Luna closed her eyes while Celestia led her to her new bedroom. Given that Luna had never lived in Canterlot castle this would be completely new for her. Finally she got her to her new room and told her to open her eyes. Luna was shocked by what she saw. She gave her sister a big hug and said, "Thank you, it is perfect!" Luna headed over to her bed and plopped down on it. It was made of the same material that her old bed at their castle in the Everfree Forest was. She continued, "Wow, this is so comfy! It is just like my old bed! Even my pillows are just like they used to be!"
Celestia smiled and replied, "I am so happy to see you happy. Follow me to the dining hall, I have another big surprise for you."
Luna followed Celestia to the dining hall and sat down waiting for supper to come. Finally their meal arrived. Celestia had the chefs prepare something that had not been consumed at a royal meal since Luna was banished, meat. Luna looked at her plate and saw the pork chops, corn and saw a huge pitcher of cider in the center of the table. She ran over to her sister, hugged her and said, "You remember my favorites! I feel happier than I have in my entire life!"
Celestia asked, "How could I forget what you liked so much? After all, you were the one who liked meat so much!"
Luna smiled, ran back over to her meal and began to chow down. While the cake they had at the party in Ponyville was good, it did not fill her up. After eating five plates of food, Luna let out a huge belch and said, "Wow, I never imagined I would eat that much all at once!"
Celestia replied, "Well you haven't ate a substantial meal in a thousand years so I figured you'd eat a lot. Come now, it is time for me to lower the sun and for you to raise the moon."
Luna and Celestia headed out to the castle balcony where a huge crowd had gathered to see the Moon Princess raise the moon for the first time in a millennia. Celestia lowered the sun to a cheering crowd and as Luna raised the moon the crowd cheered wildly, which caught her a bit off guard because she had never experienced anything like that before. After landing on the balcony having raised the moon, she waved to the adoring crowd and addressed them.
She started, "Well everypony, I've never been good at addressing the public but I want you all to know how happy I am to be back and how happy I am to have all of you as part of my sister and I's kingdom."
A pony in the crowd asked, "Princess Luna, will you be back with us for good or will you just be here for a little while?"
Luna was a bit shocked by that question. At first she was worried she would answer it wrong but soon that worry disappeared and she replied, "Yes, I shall be here forever. I have learned my lesson and I promise you all that I won't let anything like what happened in the past happen again."
Celestia smiled as she was so happy to see Luna, who in the past would have blown up over a question like that, reply to it with such grace and composure. After taking a few more questions Luna and Celestia returned to the castle. Inside was waiting Luna's head guardspony, Gray Wings. He asked, "Your Majesty, tonight will be your first patrol of the Everfree Forest in a thousand years. Do you think you will be prepared for it?"
Luna became a bit anxious and asked, "I don't have to go around the old castle do I? There are so many bad memories from there."
Gray Wings replied, "Well you are the one who shall lead the patrol, so you will be the one who decides where we patrol."
As Luna and Gray Wings were heading out of the palace Celestia yawned and said, "Well, you have fun. I am quite tired and I need to get some sleep."
Luna replied, "Well you get some sleep, it has been a long day for you."
As Celestia got to her room and laid down to sleep she felt that she had done a decent job of hiding her sadness over Twilight's leaving Canterlot. While she tried to bottle her feelings in, despite being alone, she couldn't help but wonder what Twilight was up to and knew she would miss their study sessions.
While Luna and Gray Wings began their patrol of the Everfree Forest, in Ponyville, after a long day, Twilight and Spike were sitting down for supper. While the supper was large by Ponyville standards, it was not as large as what she was used to in Canterlot. The meal especially disappointed Spike, who for the first time in ages, was unable to have any gems with his supper.
Spike had a sad look on his face and asked, "Twilight, do you think we will ever be able to have large meals like we used to?"
Twilight replied, "Well except for when Celestia wants us up in Canterlot for one reason or another, I doubt it. We will just have to make due with what we have." She paused for a minute and continued, "Do you think you can handle smaller meals? After all, I finally have friends and I don't want to leave them."
An idea crossed Spike's mind and he decided to ask Twilight about it. He asked, "Twilight, what about Rarity? Do you think that she might have gems to spare that I could eat?"
Twilight replied, "Spike, I doubt it. She uses those gems for the apparel that she makes and I don't even know where she gets them. I do know one thing, they can't be cheap."
Spike pouted for a minute, which really upset Twilight but then they ate their meal which consisted of carrot soup, corn along with cider. For desert they had some apple pie. Twilight said, "Spike, whether you like it or not, you better get used to apples. I have a feeling it will be a large part of our meals now."
Spike realized this as they were now friends with the Apple Family that Applejack would give them apples for free the same way she does with the rest of her friends. Spike, still having thoughts of Rarity in his mind asked, "Twilight, do you think I'll ever have a chance with Rarity?
Twilight laughed, "Oh Spike! I don't think she sees you as a love interest!" By this time they had finished their meal and with it being late Twilight continued, "It is getting late Spike. I think we need to get to bed. After all, I want to join my new friends at Sugarcube Corner for some breakfast."
Spike yawned, "Ok. Good night Twilight."
While Spike fell asleep quickly Twilight laid in bed wondering if she would really be able to adjust to Ponyville and worried about how she would do without Celestia guiding her.
The following morning arrived more quickly than both of them wanted. The sun was already well above the horizon when Twilight woke up. She shouted, "Spike, we're late! I am supposed to have met my friends five minutes ago!"
Twilight levitated Spike onto her back and rushed over to Sugarcube Corner. She bolted in the door to see her friends were already there. She said, "I'm sorry I'm late girls."
Applejack replied, "It's alright Twilight. You had a lot on your plate yesterday and I know you're adjusting to your new life."
Twilight let out a sigh of relief and replied, "Thank you so much for understanding. I don't think anypony, except Celestia, in Canterlot would have understood."
Rainbow Dash said, "Come on Twilight, we're your friends! You know we'll understand."
Spike was really hungry for some gems and despite what Twilight had said the night before, he thought he would ask Rarity if he could have some gems. He asked, "Rarity, I am really hungry for some gems. Do you think I could have some?"
This really embarrassed Twilight. She had a stunned look on her face when Rarity replied, "Well Spike, I will have to go out and find some because the ones I have right now are needed for a very important order from a wealthy client."
Twilight interrupted, "Find gems? I thought you had to buy them."
Rarity smiled and replied, "Oh no, when I was a filly I discovered I have a special talent for finding gems. So I am able to just go out into the hills east of town and find them." Rarity knew that Spike had a crush on her and believed that she could get him to dig them up for her. She asked, "Spike, could I ask you of a favor?"
Spike replied, "Of course!"
Twilight rolled her eyes in disgust as Rarity asked, "When I go out looking for gems, would you want to come out with me and dig them up?"
Spike had a huge smile on his face and excitedly replied, "Anything for you Rarity!"
Rarity added, "Thank you Spikey-Wikey! When we're out looking for gems, I promise I will let you eat some as long as I have enough for my projects."
Spike gave Rarity a huge hug while Twilight still had an embarrassed look on her face. Rarity saw this and asked, "Twilight darling, whatever is wrong?"
Twilight replied, "Well I'm just embarrassed that Spike would do this."
Rarity said, "It's fine Twilight. Spike is such a nice dragon and wants to help me. After all, having him there to dig them up will be much better than me getting dirty digging them up myself!"
Applejack sighed, "So y'all are just going to use Spike Rarity? You just can't get a bit dirty now can you?"
Rarity asked, "Spike, I need to go find some gems. Would you want to come with me?"
Spike replied, "You bet! Anything for you my lady!"
While Spike and Rarity headed out east of town to search for gems Twilight said to the rest of her friends, "I feel so embarrassed, he normally doesn't act like this."
Rainbow replied, "Oh don't worry about it Twi, Rarity seems happy to have the help and it is obvious that Spike is more than happy to help. Just relax, everything will be fine!"
Fluttershy added, "Come on Twilight, everything is alright."
Pinkie asked, "Twilight, do you want something sweet to eat?"
Twilight replied, "Yeah sure. Maybe a doughnut with extra sprinkles will relax me."
Twilight sat back and began to share a few laughs with her friends which made her much more relaxed. By the time Rarity and Spike returned, Twilight had eaten many more doughnuts than she expected. Rainbow said, "Wow Twi, you ate every single doughnut in the store! Pinkie's going to have to make more."
Pinkie replied, "It's alright. It's what Mr. and Mrs. Cake hired me to do!"
As time passed Twilight and Spike both grew more accustomed to life in Ponyville and soon grew to love it there. Eventually Twilight, who initially missed Canterlot, grew to the point where she didn't miss Canterlot at all.
A few months have passed and while Twilight has adjusted to Ponyville, in Canterlot Luna has quickly matured back into her adult form. At the same time though, despite her being happy for Luna, Celestia has become depressed. This has caught her sister's attention and she wanted to know what was going on. After they did their royal duties one morning Luna asked, "Celestia, you seem so sad here lately, what is wrong?"
Celestia thought that since Luna has re-matured, that she would not understand her feelings. Celestia replied, "I don't think you would understand. It is late for you, why don't you go get some sleep. I don't want you being tired tonight."
While normally Luna would have already rushed off to bed, she was not going to take that for an answer. She said, "Something is obviously wrong with you. You are my sister and I am concerned about you."
Celestia snapped, "Luna, just drop it. Go get some rest."
Luna rolled her eyes and headed off to her bedroom to get some rest. Celestia headed up to the archives and sat there quietly. White Wings, a member of her royal guard noticed that she was in there alone. He had concerns like Luna did and wanted to know what was wrong. He headed into the archives and asked, "Your Majesty, what is wrong? You seem so sad here lately."
Celestia had tears rolling down her face and she replied, "I'm just lonely. Twilight and I would spend so much time together and now she is gone. I miss her so much."
White Wings asked, "Princess, why did you allow her to stay in Ponyville? Why didn't you have her come back up here with you when Luna was restored?"
Celestia began to sob and replied, "Because she finally discovered what friendship is. I couldn't bring myself to make her leave the only friends she had ever had. I wanted her to be happy." She paused for a minute and then continued, "I just never knew that I would get so lonely. Oh White Wings, I hate myself for letting her stay in Ponyville."
White Wings suggested, "Princess, I don't mean to tell you what to do but the Canterlot Garden Party is this afternoon. Perhaps making a special appearance would make you feel better. After all, they are expecting you."
Celestia replied, "I don't know if I can White Wings. Being around so many ponies without Twilight by my side will only make matters worse. Maybe Luna would go in my stead."
White Wings said, "Well I wouldn't count on it. Luna stayed up late asking why you were so sad and besides, you know how she is when she is woke up in the middle of the day."
Celestia replied, "Oh that is true." She pulled her wings over her face and asked, "Could you just let me have some alone time?"
White Wings nodded and left Celestia alone in the archives. Celestia pulled her wings away from her face and started seeing visions from the past. She saw visions of how when Twilight was a filly and the two would have so much fun when she was teaching Twilight basic magic. She then saw visions of once Twilight matured into a full grown mare how happy Twilight would be when she would successfully cast advanced spells. She then saw one more vision, a vision from her old castle. She saw the vision of Twilight running up to her and nuzzling her after she and her friends had defeated Nightmare Moon. Celestia remembers that look in Twilight's eyes and believed it to be a look of pure love. This only caused Celestia to cry harder.
She cried to herself, "Oh Celestia, why would she want to stay in Ponyville after giving you such a loving look?"
Despite the fact that she was supposed to make an appearance at the garden party, Celestia headed to her room and curled up in a ball on her bed. She continued to remember all the times that her and Twilight had, well those once Twilight grew into an adult. Whether it was true or not, Celestia began to think that every look Twilight gave her was one of true love. Finally it was time for supper when she heard a bang on her door. She rocketed upwards and crashed into the ceiling.
Celestia asked, "Wh-What? Who is there?"
Luna replied, "Celestia, it's me. It's time for supper."
Celestia opened her door to find a concerned Luna. Luna saw that her eyes were red and asked, "What is wrong? Why are your eyes red?"
Celestia realized that Luna would continue to ask her what was wrong until she told her so she just decided to tell her. She said, "Luna, I really miss Twilight. I miss us spending time together, I simply miss having her around. I just wish I could see her for a day or two."
Luna smiled and asked, "If that is the case why don't you just send her a message asking her to come here?"
Celestia smiled and replied, "Luna, you're a genius! I don't know why I didn't think of that!"
Before heading into the dining hall Celestia wrote a message to Twilight that read, "Twilight, I need you to come up to Canterlot tomorrow morning alone. There are some things that I really need to discuss with you. Don't even bring Spike, this must remain between just the two of us. I hope you will be able to make it. Princess Celestia."
Celestia sent it and asked, "Do you think she will be able to make it?"
Luna replied, "I don't know Twilight very well but I'm sure she will make it."
In Ponyville Spike and Twilight are visiting Fluttershy for some tea when "BELCH" Spike coughs up a message. Twilight said, "Hmmm, I wonder what this could be."
Twilight opened the scroll and read it out loud. Fluttershy asked, "Do you think everything is ok? You aren't in trouble with the princess are you Twilight?"
Twilight replied, "I doubt it but thanks for your concern Fluttershy."
Once Twilight and Spike got home Spike asked, "Twilight, why do you think Celestia doesn't want me to come? Do you think she is mad at me?"
Twilight replied, "I doubt it. There are some things that just has to stay between the princess and myself."
After doing some evening studying Twilight and Spike headed to bed. Twilight was having problems getting to sleep as she was a bit worried about what Celestia wanted to talk about.
Twilight's Trip to Canterlot
The following morning arrived and Twilight woke up before sunrise. She decided that if Celestia wanted her up in Canterlot that morning that she may as well enjoy a large breakfast, which she had missed so much. Spike saw her brushing her mane and getting ready to head towards the door and asked, "Twilight, where are you going? It isn't even sunrise yet."
Twilight replied, "Spike, the princess wants me up in Canterlot this morning. I am sure she will be happy if I am up there early. Besides, I miss the big breakfasts she serves anyway."
Spike was a bit irritated that she wasn't going to fix him any breakfast but before he could say anything she ran off to the train station. Spike slammed the door and said to himself, "Was she born in a barn? Is what Celestia has to tell her that important?"
While Twilight was waiting at the train station, up in Canterlot Celestia is biting her hooves, already anxious about whether Twilight would come. Luna saw this and said, "Don't worry, she will come. You are going to bite your hooves to the quick if you don't stop biting them."
Celestia replied, "Well I just hope she will get her soon, the earlier she gets her the more time I can spend with her."
Thirty minutes later just as the two had finished their royal duties Twilight ran up to the balcony. She smiled and said, "Princess Celestia! It is so good to see you!"
Celestia was beyond happy to see her student. She ran up to Twilight, nuzzled her and said, "Twilight Sparkle, my most faithful student! I am so happy to see you!"
After they greeted one another the two Alicorns and the unicorn headed into the dining hall and waited for their breakfast. Celestia had Twilight sit next to her like she did in the old days, although this morning Celestia had Twilight sitting a bit closer to her than normal. Twilight asked, "Princess, why are you having me sit so close to you? We never sat this close before."
Celestia replied, "Well it is just a matter of me missing you so much. I just want you to be close to me."
Luna gave Celestia and odd look while Twilight moved a bit further away from her sister. Celestia had a look of sadness because her student did not wish to sit overly close to her. Luna asked, "Well Twilight, how have your studies been going in Ponyville?"
Twilight replied, "They have been going so well. My friends and I are having so much fun."
Luna asked, "Are you glad that my sister let you stay down there?"
Twilight's reply would bring a sad look upon Celestia's face. Twilight replied, "You bet I am your Majesty! Everything has turned out just perfect. I have friends that I wouldn't trade for the world and while it isn't as big as the one here, the library is spectacular!"
Celestia had a few tears running down her face upon hearing the happiness of her student. Finally their meal arrived and Twilight's eyes grew huge upon seeing so much food. She said, "Thank you your Majesties, I haven't had a meal this big in ages. I will admit, one thing I have missed are the large meals!"
Celestia's voice, breaking a bit from trying to hold back her earlier tears asked, "Twilight, are the size of the meals here enough that it would cause you to ever want to move back?"
Twilight was stunned by this question and Luna could see the irritation in her eyes. She snapped, "Princess, you are the one who wanted me to go make friends so much. Now that I have friends that I almost view as sisters you ask me if I would ever want to move back here?"
Celestia said, "Well you seem so impressed I just thought I would ask."
Twilight continued, "I would never leave my friends! I love it in Ponyville. An occasional visit here is good but to move back here, NO WAY!"
Celestia was about to break down crying but Luna used her magic to stop Celestia from doing so. Finally they finished their breakfast and Twilight asked, "So princess, what did you want to talk to me about?"
Celestia replied, "Well there are a few things up in the archives that we never went over. I thought we could do that."
Luna smiled and yawned, "Well you two have fun. I'm headed to bed. Gray Wings and I ran into a few manticores last night."
While Luna headed to her bedroom to get some much needed sleep Celestia and Twilight headed to the archives. When they entered the archives Twilight did begin to smile some remembering all the good memories she had in there. Celestia led her over to a corner of the room that had books regarding love spells. She grabbed one of the books, which stunned Twilight. Twilight asked, "Love spells? Why would I need to study love spells?"
Celestia replied, "Well you never know. A loving couple down there might get into a fight and you may feel the need to get them to fall in love again."
Twilight was still confused about why Celestia would have them study such things. She asked, "Princess, what is the point of love spells? Isn't that kind of like mind control basically forcing ponies to love one another?"
Celestia put her wing around Twilight, pulled her close to her and replied, "Well some may look at it as mind control but if a married couple is fighting" She then pulled Twilight close to her and continued, "I think a love spell would be preferable to them getting divorced."
Twilight felt a bit uneasy having Celestia holding her close like that but decided to not let it show. She replied, "Well I can see where you are coming from."
Twilight and Celestia spent a good part of the day in the archives. Celestia even had their lunch delivered up to them. After a while Twilight was remembering all the good times her and her teacher used to have, although not so much that she would want to leave her friends. Finally supper time had arrived and Luna knocked on the door and said, "Celestia, Twilight, it is time for supper."
Both of them were surprised and jumped a bit. Twilight said, "Alright, thanks for letting us know."
At supper Twilight did sit closer to Celestia, which made her very happy but caused Luna to be a bit concerned. Luna wanted to know what was going on so she asked, "Twilight, why are you sitting so much closer to my sister than you were this morning?"
Twilight replied, "Well we spent a lot of time together today and I will admit, I miss spending time with Celestia, but not so much that I would leave my friends."
Celestia had a huge grin on her face, which caused Luna to wonder if she wasn't casting spells on Twilight but decided to keep quiet about it. After supper and a bit of chit chat it was time for Celestia to lower the sun and Luna to raise the moon. Luna said, "Come on Celestia, we need to do our royal duties."
Celestia replied, "It is." She then looked at Twilight and continued, "Well it has been fun my student, but you probably should get going. I'm sure Spike is wondering where you are."
After the princesses performed their royal duties Twilight walked to the train station and headed home. Before Celestia headed to bed Luna asked, "I really want to know what is going on. Why did it seem that when she first got here Twilight was a bit irritated but when she left she seemed so happy to be with you?"
Celestia replied, "Well I don't know. Maybe she missed me and felt so happy after the end of our study session that she just wanted to be closer to me." Celestia headed towards her bedroom and continued, "Well I'm off to bed, goodnight Luna."
Luna sighed, "Good night." She looked at Gray Wings and said, "Well let's head out Gray Wings, hopefully things won't be as hectic tonight as they were last night."
Once Celestia got to her bedroom she began to reflect on the day. She felt warmth within her that she had not felt in quite some time. She was remembering the times when Twilight would look at her, especially in the afternoon and thought that they were looks of love. Soon though, Celestia would fall into despair again knowing that Twilight didn't want to leave her friends.
On the ride home Twilight was trying to take in everything that had happened that day. She thought to herself, "Why did Celestia pull me so close to her? Why would she keep her wing around me for hours?" Twilight was doing some deep thinking but then figured that it was probably just because she missed her since they did have a close student/teacher relationship.
The following morning Twilight woke up in a daze. Not only was she still trying to come to terms with Celestia's behavior from the previous day but she was also trying to interpret the dreams she had the night before. Spike could tell she wasn't quite right and decided he would find out what was wrong. He asked, "Twilight, are you ok? You just seem like you are in a fog."
Twilight replied, "Oh I'm ok Spike. I'm just tired."
Spike was awake last night and heard Twilight talking in her sleep. He was curious as to what her dreams were about. He asked, "Twilight, did you know that you were talking in your sleep last night?"
Twilight laughed, "Oh I don't talk in my sleep. I have never talked in my sleep."
Spike replied, "Well you were last night. It was kind of odd, you were begging for Celestia to get off of you."
Twilight had a stunned look on her face. She didn't know how, but Spike knew her dreams involved Celestia. She asked, "Spike, if I tell you something do you Pinkie promise not to tell anypony?"
Spike replied, "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
Twilight said, "Ok. My dreams did involve Celestia. I had this weird dream that she took me to some distant library. I'm not sure where it was but while we were studying she began to lay on top of me."
Spike asked, "What kind of books were you two reading in your dream?"
Twilight replied, "We were reading romance novels. Each one was steamier than the one before it and eventually Celestia wanted to act out what was in the novels. It really made me feel uncomfortable."
Spike asked, "Twilight, what do you think that means?"
Twilight replied, "Well I don't know. Perhaps it was because yesterday during our study session Celestia had her wing around me and had me pulled completely up against her, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable." She paused for a minute and then continued, "Well you don't have to worry Spike, I don't think we have to worry about that happening!"
After a bit more discussion the two decided to just let it go but Twilight did shut herself in the library that day because she was worried Celestia might come get her to act out the events in those dreams. She was worried about other ponies noticing something was not quite right with her. In Canterlot, Celestia was not quite herself either.
Luna could sense something was wrong with her sister and asked, "Celestia, what is wrong? I would have thought having Twilight visit yesterday would have helped you out of your sadness."
Celestia replied, "It is not sadness, I just had some strange dreams last night, dreams that involved Twilight. I don't think you would understand."
Luna threw her hooves up in the air and said, "Well here we go again! Whenever you don't want to tell me something you just claim that I won't understand. I'm not a naive little filly, I'm sure I could understand."
Celestia was feeling very embarrassed about the dreams she had the previous night and worried that Luna would chastise her if she told her, so she continued to just beat around the bush until Luna was finally tired. Luna threw her hooves up in the air in disgust and said, "Fine Celestia, don't trust me. Someday though, you will want to tell me something and I will just brush you off."
Luna stormed to her bedroom while Celestia just sighed. White Wings, who Celestia trusted more asked, "Your Majesty, I know it is probably none of my business but what is it that you don't think Luna would understand?"
Celestia asked in return, "Do you promise not to tell anypony?"
White Wings replied, "I won't say a word."
Celestia started, "Alright, I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamed that Twilight and I went out to that old castle that Luna and I used to live in. Well I took her into my private library and we read books together."
White Wings asked, "Why would a dream like that be something you wouldn't share with Luna?"
Celestia continued, "Well the books her and I read together were romance novels, and well things got rather strange after that. Her and I became intimate and she professed her love for me."
White Wings asked, "How did this dream make you feel?"
Celestia concluded, "It made me feel wonderful. It was everything I had ever dreamed of. When I woke up I was hoping that Twilight would be laying next to me, cuddling with me."
White Wings said, "Well I'm no expert when it comes to dream interpretation but I can tell that you have strong feelings for Twilight."
Celestia smiled and replied, "I do White Wings. I have lived for many millennia. I was born prior to the founding of Equestria yet I have never felt any kind of love until Twilight came along. Yes I have had crushes on other ponies but I have never felt true love. I just wish my dream could become a reality."
White Wings asked, "Well you could always summon her up here and then tell her that you two need to go to your old castle and do some studying."
Celestia sadly asked, "But who would keep an eye on things here? I can't expect Luna to stay awake all day. Besides, this trip of ours lasted for a week and I would want it to be the exact way it was in the dream."
Their discussion ended there as Celestia said she had a very busy day scheduled. While she did attend the morning meetings she was not exactly entirely with it. During a meeting with the mayor of Manehattan Celestia was in a dream world of sorts. When the mayor asked her about what should be done to lower the crime rate there she said, "I love you Twilight!"
The mayor asked, "What? What does this Twilight individual have to do with us lowering the crime rate?"
Celestia finally got back with it and replied, "Oh, regarding lowering the crime rate, perhaps if you publicly humiliate the offenders in public that will lower the crime rate."
Celestia decided to just avoid everypony else after lunch and shut herself in her room. She realized that she was in no shape to be handling any affairs.
The next day in Ponyville Twilight was back to her normal self. Her and Spike headed to Sugarcube Corner that morning to have something sweet to eat. Applejack was wondering where she was the day before and asked, "Twilight, Spike, why weren't y'all over here yesterday morning? Pinkie had a dozen doughnuts with extra sprinkles made for you."
Twilight replied, "Oh after the whole day with Celestia the day before I just decided to get some extra rest. It was a very long study session with Celestia and I will admit, I'm not used to those anymore."
Spike began to add, "Yeah and she was dreaming......"
Twilight put her hoof over his mouth and asked, "Pinkie, since I missed out yesterday do you think I could have any doughnuts this morning?"
Pinkie replied, "Well I have a few but we ran out of sprinkles. We will have to order more."
Twilight said, "It's ok Pinkie. It's not a big deal, but the doughnuts sound good anyway."
Pinkie placed a plate of doughnuts in front of Twilight and she began to devour them. She still had her dreams about Celestia stuck in her mind and figured that a few treats would help distract her from them, which they weren't able to.
Despite doing her best job in hiding what was wrong, Fluttershy could sense something was wrong. She asked, "Twilight, I know there is something more than just being tired going on with you. Why don't you just tell us what is wrong?"
Twilight knew she would have to lie if she was to get them to quit bothering her about it. She replied, "It is something I can't discuss. It involves my meeting with Celestia a couple days ago."
After that everypony just dropped it and things went along as they normally would, although things just weren't right with Twilight or Celestia in the coming days and eventually weeks. Celestia had fallen into an even deeper depression and Twilight seemed to be more paranoid as each day passed.
Three months had passed and both Twilight and Celestia were becoming less and less like themselves. Twilight could no longer make it through a whole day before her paranoia caused her to shut herself in the library and Celestia pretty much only came out of her room for meals and raising and lowering the sun, which caused those who care about them to want to find out what is really going on.
In Ponyville, Twilight had begun to shut herself in the library pretty much everyday after she ate lunch with her friends at the cafe. Her friends were very worried about her so one day at lunch Rainbow Dash decided to find out. She asked, "Twilight, why the hay are you shutting yourself in every day now? Are you starting to care more about books than friends?"
Applejack added, "Yeah and why is your mane and tail always a mess before the day is even half over? It seems like you are really nervous about something."
Twilight replied, "It's really complicated. It is something that is still ringing in my head from when Celestia and I had that meeting."
Rarity asked, "Still? That was three months ago. The way you are acting we would think that she is going to force you to go back to Canterlot."
Twilight began to tear up a bit. She still remembered Celestia talking about how her liking the meals would make her want to go back. She began to cry, "I'm so sorry I've been shutting myself in girls. Celestia did say something about me going back to Canterlot."
Applejack asked, "Why didn't you tell us sooner sugar cube?"
Fluttershy added, "You know we all love you Twilight. We would do anything to make sure she doesn't make you go back."
Twilight replied, "Thank you so much. I simply said something about how I missed the large meals up there and she asked me if the meals would make me want to come back."
Pinkie asked, "What did you say?"
Twilight replied, "I firmly told her no. I told her that I loved it down here and that I would not leave my friends over huge meals."
Her friends breathed a sigh of relief but still wanted to know why she was shutting herself in after lunch. They asked her about it and Twilight told them that it was because she had horrible dreams about Celestia swooping in some afternoon and taking her away. She believed that if she was hiding, that Celestia couldn't get her. Little did her friends know that her dreams did not involve that at all, that her dreams involved Celestia taking her off somewhere to study and forcing herself upon her.
Very soon lunch was over and Twilight, like always, headed back to the library and shut herself in. Rainbow asked, "What is REALLY up with her? I don't know about the rest of you, but I think she is hiding something."
Applejack said, "Y'all know, I think Rainbow is right. After we told her that we wouldn't let Celestia take her away, I would have thought she would stay out with us."
Fluttershy asked, "Do you think she is still shutting in because she knows we couldn't stop the princess from taking her away from us?"
Pinkie replied, "Well maybe we should all be in the library after noon. That way, we could keep her company!"
The rest of her friends agreed and decided to head over to the library. When they got there they knocked on the door only to hear Twilight shout, "GO AWAY! NO VISITORS ALLOWED AFTER NOON!"
Rainbow replied, "Hey Twi, it's us, your friends. Why don't you just let us in so we can talk. We know there is something more going on than you're letting on."
Twilight opened the door and her friends quickly rushed in. Rarity said, "Look at it this way Twilight, with us here we can still visit and you don't have to worry about Celestia swooping down and taking you away from us."
Twilight had a stunned look on her face. She felt as though maybe they knew she was lying. Rainbow asked, "What's with the look Twi? You are acting like we caught you in something."
Applejack, who can sometimes tell when somepony is lying, stared into Twilight's eyes and asked, "Twilight, what are you hiding from us? A fear of Celestia coming in and taking you away isn't the real reason you are hiding, now is it?"
Twilight hung her head in defeat and replied, "No girls, it is something else entirely. It does involve Celestia though."
Applejack asked, "And what is that?"
Twilight replied, "Well you remember when I went up to see her that day? She had her wing around me pretty much the whole day and it just felt weird."
Rarity asked, "Twilight, do you think the princess has special feelings for you?"
Twilight replied, "I wouldn't think so. If she did I don't think she would have let me stay here. She probably would have wanted me to return back up there with her."
Rarity said, "Well if she truly does have special feelings for you I would think she would want you to be happy. After all, when somepony loves another pony they would want the one they love to be happy."
Twilight smiled and asked, "So I probably don't have to worry about her swooping in and taking me away?"
Rainbow hugged Twilight and replied, "No Twi, I don't think you have to worry about that. If she feels that way about you, she wouldn't do anything to make you unhappy."
Twilight sighed and said, "Well girls, let's go out and have a picnic."
All of her friends began to celebrate while they headed out to have their picnic. While Twilight appeared to have fun at the picnic she just couldn't get the horrible dreams out of her mind as Celestia was becoming more aggressive in them as time passed.
In Canterlot Celestia's despair was becoming so bad that she could barely even raise and lower the sun. There were even a couple of days where Luna had to raise the sun. No matter how much Luna asked Celestia, she would not tell her. Luna was becoming more and more upset. Finally on one morning when Luna had to raise the sun she yelled at her sister, "CELESTIA, WHAT IS WRONG? YOU CAN'T EVEN RAISE THE SUN THIS MORNING!"
Luna's tone of voice angered her older sister. Celestia replied, "Look, I don't think you could ever understand. We have different personalities."
Luna's eyes began to shine a bright white, dark clouds began to shroud the sky and she shouted, "Look, I am not this out of touch night owl, I am a concerned sister. Just tell me."
Celestia finally broke down crying. She sobbed, "Luna, it involves Twilight. I love her. I have loved her since she matured. I just wish she could be with me all the time the way she was before she went to Ponyville."
While under the surface Luna thought Celestia was letting this destroy her on the surface she seemed understanding. She replied, "I have some advice, how about you send her another message saying she is needed up here alone for a few days. Maybe that would help."
Celestia smiled a bit and replied, "But I would want it to be just her and me with nopony else around to bother us."
Luna rolled her eyes and sighed, "Well you could always take her out to our old castle and study some of the advanced material there."
Celestia got a huge smile on her face and Luna sighed and continued, "Look, I will even do my best to stay awake as much as I can so you and her can go out there alone."
Celestia grabbed her sister and asked, "Really?"
Luna replied, "Yes, really. Now send her a message telling her you want her up here alone."
Celestia wrote a scroll that read, "Twilight, I really need to discuss some things with you. We need to do some high intensity studying for you to fulfill your ultimate destiny. I need you up here for a week alone. If at all possible, please be up here for breakfast tomorrow morning. Sincerely, Princess Celestia."
Celestia sent the message. In Ponyville Twilight and Spike were sitting down to supper when BELCH, Spike coughed up a message. Twilight read the scroll and said, "Well Spike, I am needed up in Canterlot alone tomorrow morning before breakfast."
Spike asked, "So I will be alone again tomorrow?"
Twilight replied, "Yes but Celestia told me she needs her and I to do some high intensity studying so I will be gone for a week."
Spike gasped, "A WEEK?"
Twilight replied, "Yes Spike, a week."
Spike was kind of irritated that Celestia would want Twilight away for that long but also realized that perhaps he could spend more time with Rarity. Twilight was irritated at first but then as she turned in for the night she began to wonder what Celestia meant by fulfilling her ultimate destiny. She was unsure if it meant her becoming a princess one day or at least having some sort of power over the region surrounding Ponyville. Regardless of what she meant, she knew she had to leave early the following morning.
Twilight's Summons to Canterlot
The following morning Twilight got up very early, much earlier than normal and was ready to head out the door. Spike woke up and asked, "Twilight, why are you leaving so early? You didn't leave this early before."
Twilight was wanting to get up there as soon as possible because she thought maybe if she got up there early enough that Celestia might let her come home a day early. Twilight replied, "I just want to get an early start on this. You never know, if I'm up there early enough, I might get to come home a day early."
Spike yawned, "Alright Twilight, it is whatever you think."
Twilight headed off to the train station to catch the early train to Canterlot. She was the only pony on board as very few ponies travel that early in the morning. She finally arrived in Canterlot around four in the morning. She ran up to the balcony and saw Luna standing guard. Luna asked, "What are you doing here so early Twilight Sparkle?"
Twilight replied, "Well I just thought if I got here early Celestia might let me go back home a day early."
Luna said, "Well she doesn't wake up for another two hours so don't count on it. Besides, her plans for this study session can't be rushed."
Twilight stood there nervously by the slightly irritated Luna. Finally it was six in the morning and Celestia woke up. She headed to the balcony to find her sister watching over what remained of the night and a somewhat nervous Twilight. She ran up to Twilight, nuzzled her and said, "Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student! I am so happy you could make it!"
Twilight replied, "Well you wanted me up here before breakfast and I didn't want to risk being late."
Celestia asked, "How long have you been waiting here?"
Luna interrupted, "She has been here for two hours. I think she got here way too early but hey, it was nice to have a bit of company."
Since Celestia didn't have to raise the sun for another thirty minutes she motioned for Twilight to follow her inside. The two headed inside where Twilight asked, "Princess, what all are we going to be studying and why will it take a week?"
Celestia replied, "The stuff we will be studying is very advanced. You will find out once we start."
While Twilight was excited to get to study more advanced magic she just couldn't ignore that nagging voice in the back of her head telling her that Celestia had plans beyond just studying. Finally by the time Twilight was able to silence it, Luna and Celestia had done their royal duties and it was time for breakfast.
Again, like last time, Twilight sat next to Celestia during breakfast. Celestia however, did not have Twilight right up against her as she didn't want to make her student feel uncomfortable. During their meal Celestia finally decided to reveal her plans to Twilight. She started, "Twilight, I am sure you are wondering why I need you with me for a week."
Twilight replied, "Actually yes your Majesty, I am."
Celestia continued, "Well the material I want us to study is out at the old castle that Luna and I used to call home a long time ago."
Twilight asked, "So are we going to be coming back every night or are we going to be staying out there?"
Celestia replied, "Well since my bedroom was not damaged, nor was my private library, we will be staying out there for a week."
Twilight was not amused by this, not only because she would be isolated for a week but that she would most likely wind up having to sleep on the floor. This also scared Twilight. She was worried that the horrible dreams she had been having would come to pass. Twilight asked, "No disrespect your Majesty, but who will keep an eye on the day here? Who will raise and lower the sun? You can't expect Princess Luna to stay awake 24/7."
Luna interrupted, "Don't worry about it Twilight. I have already told my sister that I will stay awake as much as I can. I will catch a short nap here and there during the day but I will be able to handle all the royal duties of both the day and night. Besides, it's only a week."
Twilight asked, "But Princess Luna, what about the sun? Who will raise it?"
Luna was quite irritated with this question. She replied, "Twilight Sparkle, my sister raised both the sun and moon for a thousand years. I am perfectly capable of raising and lowering both celestial bodies for a measly week."
Twilight then asked, "Princess Celestia, what will we eat while we are out there? I am sure there aren't food stores in the castle."
Celestia replied, "There are plenty of fruit trees and there is a lake right next to the castle so we won't go hungry or thirsty."
Twilight said, "Ok princess, I just wanted to make sure."
After breakfast Celestia told Twilight that it was time to go. As they were headed out the door to head to the old castle Luna said, "Well Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, you two have fun studying. I will see you in a week."
Celestia replied, "Oh don't worry, we will. You do your best to catch a short nap here and there and take care of my royal duties." She paused for a minute and continued, "Oh, and three days from now there will be a party in the Canterlot gardens. Do you think you will be able to make it?"
Luna was a bit irritated that her sister was doubting her abilities but decided to not let it show. She sighed, "Yes I can make it besides it has been ages since I have mingled with the commoners! I shall find it most pleasant."
Celestia growled, "Luna, please don't refer to them as 'the commoners.' It isn't very endearing."
Luna replied, "Oh ok, the citizens, civilians or whatever loving term you use these days. Back before I became Nightmare Moon, we called them commoners."
Celestia replied, "Well that was then, this is now. We need to get going, see you in a week."
Celestia told her sister and the royal guards goodbye as her and Twilight headed out the door. Luna watched them head off towards their old castle and seriously wondered what her sister really had planned for Twilight. She had a feeling that whatever it was, that Twilight may not be thrilled over it.
Finally around noon they arrived at the old castle. Both were hungry and thirsty so they ran straight towards the lake and the fruit trees that grew around it. As they began to eat Twilight was amazed by how delicious the fruit was and how much cleaner the water was than that of both Ponyville and Canterlot. She said, "Wow princess, these fruits taste better than anything I have ever ate and this water tastes so clean!"
Celestia replied, "Despite nopony having lived here for nearly a thousand years, there is still a powerful magic that keeps the fruit and water in pristine condition."
After spending thirty minutes eating and drinking they headed into the old castle. As they were walking through the main library, which had been badly damaged Twilight was looking at all the old books and asked, "Your Majesty, how badly damaged were the books when you and Nightmare Moon had your fight?"
Celestia was looking at the shelves of books and replied, "They managed to escape any damage and surprisingly, it looks like they have avoided any damage from the weather as well."
Twilight asked, "Do you think it is the magic that still surrounds this place that has protected them?"
Celestia smiled at her student and replied, "I do think that is the reason. Come my student, I want to get to my old bedroom and library."
They walked down an old hallway and finally got to an area where the roof had not been damaged. When they reached the end of the hall there was a door on the left and a door on the right. Celestia pressed her hoof on a horseshoe shaped lock on the door to the left and the door creaked open. After entering her old room the door slammed shut behind them, making it to where only Celestia could open it.
For the first time in almost a thousand years, Celestia entered her old bedroom. Twilight said, "I take it this was your old bedroom and the one on the right was Luna's old bedroom."
Celestia replied, "Yes, the other door would have led to her bedroom but I could never have gotten in there because these locks were designed to where she was the only one who could activate it just as she could never have opened the lock to my room."
Celestia used her magic to light all the torches in her old sleeping chambers. On the other side of the room from her bed was another door with the same type of lock on it. Celestia pressed her hoof on the lock and the door swung open. The two headed down a stairwell into what appeared to be a pitch black abyss to Twilight. Celestia used her magic to light all the torches in the room, revealing a room with many, many books.
Twilight saw this and said, "Wow princess, you have so many books in here!"
Celestia replied, "Yes, I do. These are very rare books and many of them contain information on the rarest magic not just in Equestria, but the entire planet."
Twilight asked, "Did Luna have a private library like this too?"
Celestia replied, "She did, except it was even larger than mine. She had some books in there that bothered me."
Twilight asked, "What kind of books did she have?"
Celestia replied, "Well she had the same type of magic books I do, she had books regarding war tactics, she had the entire Equestrian Law library in there, she had books about fantasy worlds and she had quite a few books which contained dark magic, which is what I think gave her the information on how to transform into Nightmare Moon."
Twilight asked, "Do you have any books on dark magic?"
Celestia replied, "Goodness no Twilight! I do have types of books that she didn't have though."
Twilight asked, "What kind were they?"
Celestia replied, "You will find out. Follow me."
Twilight followed Celestia over to a secluded corner of the library. Above the shelves of books were hearts painted on the wall. Twilight wondered what those were for but decided to wait to ask.
Celestia levitated a book called Sweet Afternoons down and sat at the table to read it. Twilight asked, "Sweet Afternoons? Is this a book about love spells?"
Celestia put her wing around Twilight, pulled her close and replied, "Yeah, you could say it is."
They began to read the book. Twilight was not impressed with the contents of the book as it did not mention any kinds of spells. It was a book about a couple whose families did not approve of them being together but would sneak off together, primarily in the afternoons to spend time together.
As they continued to read the book, Celestia began to stroke her wing through Twilight's mane. The more steamy chapters of the book made Celestia want Twilight more and more while it was boring and uninteresting to Twilight. After finishing it, Celestia asked, "Twilight, what did you think of this book?"
Twilight growled, "Princess, I thought we were going to study books on advanced magic, not read sappy romance novels." She paused and asked, "When are we going to start reading REAL books, books on more advanced magic."
Celestia figured that she would get this kind of response from Twilight at first. She replied, "We will soon enough Twilight."
Both of their stomachs were growling so they headed back out to the lake and fruit trees. Twilight was really wishing she could just run back home as she was feeling very uncomfortable around Celestia at this point yet she knew that doing so would be a huge mistake. Celestia realized that it would take time to get Twilight more interested in the books given her no nonsense personality. After eating supper they headed back down to Celestia's library and continued to read before heading to bed.
Finally the time had come for the two to turn in for the night. As they headed back up to Celestia's bedroom Twilight asked, "Princess, where am I going to sleep tonight? You don't have two beds and neither one of us can get into Luna's old bedroom."
Celestia's response would make Twilight uncomfortable. Celestia replied, "Twilight, my bed is big enough for two ponies to sleep in without disturbing the other."
Twilight looked over at Celestia's bed and realized she was right. While Twilight felt extremely uncomfortable sharing a bed with Celestia, especially given how she was acting that day, she crawled into the bed followed by Celestia. They slept with their backs facing one another that night. Twilight was laying there nervous worrying that Celestia would try to put some moves on her while Celestia was laying there doing as much as she could to stop herself from wrapping herself around her student and kissing her.
Finally the morning arrived and Celestia had all the torches in her room lit before Twilight got up. Once Twilight got up the two headed out to eat some fruit and drink some water. Twilight was feeling a bit less uneasy that morning, almost as though some sort of force was causing her to lower her guard. After eating the two went back down to Celestia's library and continued to read. Each novel they read made Celestia's desires for Twilight harder and harder to control while Twilight continued to show no interest in the books.
As the second and third day passed Celestia was still hoping that Twilight's reactions to the books would change. Celestia was hoping that her student would gain some interest in the books but romance novels weren't appealing to Twilight. While Twilight could easily get interested with other books, she loathed romance novels.
When the fourth day arrived, Celestia was frustrated that Twilight continued to show absolutely no interest or emotion while reading the books. Celestia decided that it was time to pull out the more raunchy of her novels, believing that it would finally get Twilight to want her. As they were reading on the fourth afternoon Celestia had pulled Twilight so close to her that she couldn't even move. Celestia eventually even laid one of her legs over Twilight's legs, which was starting to make Twilight very scared.
Twilight asked, "Uh Celestia, isn't it getting time to eat?" She was hoping that it was so her teacher would let her out of her grip.
Celestia's stomach was growling and she replied, "Yes Twily, it is time to eat."
Celestia referring to her as Twily scared her even more as that was what she called her in the dreams she had been having. Twilight said, "Well princess, let's go up and eat, I'm starving!"
While they were heading back up to the lake and fruit trees Celestia replied, "Oh and Twily, just call me Celly. It would make me feel more comfortable."
Once the two got up to the lake they began to drink. While they normally stood a decent distance apart, this time Celestia was standing right next to Twilight with her wing around her. Twilight was getting more and more nervous as the day progressed. While she didn't show it on the surface, she was terrified of what might happen in the night.
After supper they headed back down to Celestia's library where she had placed the steamiest, most erotic of all her novels on the table. Celestia was bound and determined to get Twilight to want her and she was going to do anything within her power to make sure she did.
After reading the most erotic of Celestia's romance novels, Twilight's mane and tail had become a mess she was so scared. Celestia used her hoof to comb her mane and tail back to normal. Twilight wanted so badly to sleep on the floor but knew that Celestia would forbid it so she climbed into bed first followed by Celestia.
The night went on normally as they were sleeping with their backs to one another. It took Twilight two hours to get to sleep. Once she did get to sleep though, she slept like a rock and for the first time in months, she did not have any nightmares about Celestia, but she did have a dream about herself in a different forest, a forest far away from Everfree.
Celestia woke up a half an hour earlier than normal and lit a torch next to the bed to provide what she believed would provide a more romantic setting. Finally Twilight began to stir. She opened her eyes and asked, "Celestia, is it time for breakfast yet?"
Celestia replied, "Not yet my love, not yet."
Twilight was really confused about what she meant by that. She asked, "My love? What do you mean by my love?"
Celestia moved closer to Twilight, who was still laying down. She finally crawled on top of her and said, "Twily, you have no idea how much I love you, how much I want you and how sexy you are. You are everything I have ever wanted in a marefriend and future wife."
Twilight realized that her nightmare was coming to pass. She began to struggle to get out from under Celestia but she would not let her student out of her grasp. She lowered her head and locked her lips up against Twilight's and began to massage her tongue with her's. Celestia was hoping that her saliva would cause Twilight to want her.
Finally Twilight got out of the liplock Celestia had her in and shouted, "GET OFF OF ME!"
Celestia's eyes began to shine and she replied, "No Twily, effective immediately you are my wife and you will do what I say."
Twilight's nightmare was not only coming to pass but the events that were happening were worse than any nightmare she ever had. Celestia was bound and determined to force Twilight to love her so she decided a love spell was in order. She began to glow white and recited, "She is the one I love, yet what is not returned is her love, this I do not like as in my heart is a spike, the mare shall now be mine and everything will be just fine."
Celestia cast the spell. The energy very quickly entered Twilight. Thinking the spell had worked, Celestia began to kiss Twilight and felt a warmth within her that she had never experienced before.
Despite Celestia putting a lot of power into the love spell, it did not work. Twilight continued to struggle. This made Celestia angrier. She shouted, "SO MY WIFE, THIS IS HOW IT'S GOING TO BE? YOU WILL GIVE ME WHAT I WANT OR ELSE!"
Twilight continued to shout and scream for her teacher to get off of her. Celestia wanted a lot more than kissing. Holding Twilight down, she crawled up on Twilight to where her pussy was right over Twilight's mouth. All that weight on Twilight's head pressed her down deeper into the pillow. Celestia ordered, "Eat me Twily, eat me."
Twilight was terrified. She had no clue what that even meant. Celestia was grunting in frustration. She shouted, "Look my little submissive wife, run your tongue up into my pussy and eat it out. You will like it."
Twilight finally did as she was instructed. Immediately Celestia started shouting, "Twily, oh Twily, more Twily, more!" Then as Celestia climaxed, she shouted, "OH TWIIIIIIILY!"
Celestia felt her cum flowing into Twilight's mouth. She could hear Twilight gagging on it. She shouted, "If you know what is good for you Twily, you will drink it."
Despite it tasting horrible, Twilight drank her teacher's cum. It seemed to have at least a short term affect on Twilight as she stopped struggling and became more submissive to Celestia. Celestia eventually got off of Twilight's face and began to rub herself all over Twilight. Celestia wanted to mark Twilight as her territory. While Twilight thought this was really gross she allowed Celestia to do this out of fear of further punishment. Once she finished Twilight asked, "Celly, can we go and eat breakfast now?"
Celestia replied, "Yes Twily we can, but I want to know one thing. Do you love me?
Still under the spell of her teacher's nectar Twilight replied, "I love you so much Celly. I am ready to be yours for all eternity."
Celestia said, "I am glad to her it my love. Now we can go and get something to eat and drink."
The two headed up to the lake and trees walking closer together than ever before. For the first time, Twilight was actually wanting Celestia. On the way up to the lake Twilight asked, "Celly, would you do that to me again? I loved it except could you be rougher with me?"
Celestia knew that since Twilight consumed her juices, that she would be under her complete and absolute control, perhaps forever. She replied, "Of course we can Twily!"
That morning since Twilight had given her what she wanted she decided to give her more space. Celestia was standing on the side of the lake closest to the castle and Twilight was on the other end. Because she had gotten up early Celestia was a bit tired and decided to lay in the grass. She looked over at Twilight and asked, "Twily sweetie, would you come lay with me?"
Twilight replied, "Yeah but can I drink some more water and eat a few more fruits?"
Celestia yawned, "Yes Twily, you can."
While Celestia was laying there waiting for her, Twilight continued to drink more and more water to get that nasty taste out of her mouth. Soon she had drank enough water that the spell that Celestia's cum had on her was broken. Twilight was horrified by what had happened. She felt betrayed, used and violated. She looked over towards her teacher with pure hatred running through her veins and dreams of vengeance running through her mind. She thought to herself, "Someday Celestia, you will pay dearly for this."
Celestia was so tired that she did not see the hateful looks her student was giving her. It wasn't even four minutes until she fell asleep. Twilight could hear her snoring and she thought to herself, "Alright Twilight, the time has come to run to our freedom."
Twilight knew that she would have to get away from there in a hurry, yet she also wanted to wash the horrible stench of Celestia's juices off of her. She submerged herself in the lake for a minute and then got out, sopping wet, yet clean at the same time. Given that Celestia is normally a very light sleeper, Twilight doing this would normally have woken her up but today, she was in a deep slumber. Twilight used this to her advantage and began her journey to freedom.
As Celestia lay by the pond sleeping, Twilight walked slowly towards the bridge that Rainbow Dash had fixed when they went to find the Elements of Harmony and defeated Nightmare Moon. The old bridge was creaking a bit while Twilight was crossing it. She looked back and thought she saw Celestia moving around so she hurried across the last few feet of bridge and started to run faster than she ever had before. Had it been fall outside of the Everfree Forest, she could have knocked every leaf off of the trees on her own.
After two hours of non-stop running Twilight finally stopped to catch her breath. She was thinking to herself, "Twilight, we have got to get out of here, we need to get to southern Equestria." Twilight wanted to get to southern Equestria because she had seen on old maps in Canterlot that a dense forest existed far to the south, one that even Celestia was afraid to enter, so Twilight turned towards the south and soon had exited the forest and entered a rocky, forbidding landscape.
Four hours later at the castle Celestia finally woke up but Twilight was not laying next to her, Twilight was not anywhere to be seen. Celestia shouted, "Twily, where are you? Twily, are you ok?"
The first thing that had crossed her mind is that Luna knew what was going on, flew in and carried Twilight away. Very soon though, after doing a bit of thinking about the events of the morning, she knew Twilight had ran away. She shouted, "Twilight Sparkle you little tyrant! I will catch you and FORCE you to be subservient to me! You're mine little girl!"
Celestia figured that Twilight had ran south back to Ponyville to hide with one of her friends but that was hardly the case. She flew with great haste to Ponyville and decided that she would first check the library, to see if she was there with Spike. She arrived at the library in the afternoon and began kicking on the door. Naturally this terrified him but he went and answered the door. At the door was an angry Celestia. She shouted, "Spike, do you know where Twilight is?"
Spike said, "Uh, no, I haven't seen her since she headed up to Canterlot."
Celestia stormed into the library and began tearing it apart, searching every single crevice and couldn't find her. She shouted, "Damn it, where is she?"
Celestia was so angry that she used her magic to pick Spike up and slam him up against the wall, breaking one of his arms. She then stormed out of the library and headed straight towards Sweet Apple Acres since there would be plenty of places for her to hide. She saw Applejack and Apple Bloom out tending the orchards and stormed over to Applejack. Applejack saw her coming and said, "Howdy your Majesty! What brings you 'round these parts?"
Celestia's eyes began to shine white and she shouted, "DON'T PLAY STUPID WITH ME APPLEJACK. YOU KNOW WHERE SHE IS, DON'T YOU?"
Applejack was scared but kept her composure. She asked, "I know where who is? What are you talking about?"
Celestia replied, "Twilight Sparkle. She has done something bad and must pay for her crimes. Where is she? Where are you hiding her?"
Applejack replied in return, "Your Majesty, I am not hiding her anywhere. I haven't seen her since the day before she headed off to Canterlot to see you."
Celestia grunted and began to search every building on the apple farm. She even stormed into the apple cellar believing she may be down there. After searching every building and flying over every square inch of the farm she returned to Applejack and asked, "She isn't here but who is hiding her? I bet you know!"
Applejack replied, "Your Majesty, I don't know where she is."
Celestia grunted and stormed off towards Fluttershy's cottage. She knew how tenderhearted she is and figured if anypony was hiding her, it would be her. When she arrived she was kicking on the door. This caused Fluttershy to go into a panic. She looked out the window and saw it was Celestia. She opened the door and asked, "P-Princess Ce-Celestia, is everything ok?"
Celestia stormed in and said, "Don't you give me that naive stuttering crap. You know where she is and you will hand her over, NOW!"
Fluttershy began to cry, "I don't know what you are talking about. Who do you think I know where is?"
Celestia smacked Fluttershy across the room, breaking her nose and bruising her badly. She shouted, "TWILIGHT SPARKLE. Hand her over, now!"
Fluttershy was crying harder and said, "Your Majesty, I haven't seen her in nearly a week. I'm honest when I say I don't know where she is."
Celestia growled, "Fine." She then stormed over to The Carousel Boutique. She kicked the door in. Rarity saw her and said, "Why hello your....."
Before Rarity could finish her sentence Celestia shouted, "HAND HER OVER NOW OR I'M SEIZING YOUR BUSINESS!"
Rarity was both stunned and scared. She asked, "Whatever do you mean your Majesty? Hand over who?"
Celestia began to realize that perhaps Twilight's friends may not know where she is and decided to be more tactful than being in a rage. Celestia calmed down and asked, "Twilight Sparkle. Do you know where she is?"
Rarity replied, "I thought she was up with you your Majesty. Has something happened to her?"
Celestia said, "I'm not sure but I am worried about her. Well since you don't have any information I will go ask elsewhere."
Before Rarity could say anything Celestia stormed over towards Sugarcube Corner. She pushed the door open and saw the Cake family in there making treats. Mr. Cake saw her and said, "Hello your Majesty! How can I help you?"
Celestia asked, "Have either of you two seen Pinkie Pie?"
Mr. Cake replied, "Well she is upstairs. Do you want me to go get her?"
Celestia told him that she would be happy if she did. Mr. Cake brought Pinkie downstairs and Celestia led her outside to talk. Celestia asked, "Pinkie, I am wondering if you have seen Twilight here recently?"
Pinkie replied, "I thought she was up with you. I haven't seen her in a week."
Celestia could tell that she was telling the truth so she nodded and took off back to Canterlot. Given that Rainbow Dash lives in a cloud home she knew that Twilight couldn't be hiding with her. When she returned home she kicked the doors in and continued her rage. She shouted, "Flash Sentry, I know you have always been fond of Twilight. You know where she is, don't you?"
Flash was terrified. He replied, "No your Majesty, I don't. She never really liked me in return anyway so if I did know, I would lead you to her."
Celestia began to kick the walls and shouted, "WHERE IS TWILIGHT, WHERE IS MY SUBMISSIVE LITTLE WIFE? I WANT HER NOW! WHEN I CATCH HER SHE WILL PAY DEARLY!"
Celestia's rant woke up Luna. Luna stormed out to the throne room and shouted, "WHAT THE HAY IS WRONG? WHAT IS YOUR NOISY RANT OVER?"
Celestia shouted back, "My wife has deserted me. That disobedient brat ran off and who knows where she is now."
Luna put her hoof on Celestia's back and replied, "Calm down Celestia, this isn't good for you." She then asked, "Wife? Who the hay is your wife?"
Celestia growled, "Twilight Sparkle. She is my submissive little wife."
Luna sighed and asked, "Oh and who married you two?"
Celestia snapped, "I declared her as my wife. Since I am a princess I can do that. She was resisting my advances so I decreed her as my wife and cast a love spell on her, which unfortunately didn't work."
This was a facehoof moment for Luna. She replied, "Celestia, do you know how immoral doing that is? Decreeing her as your wife just because you are a princess and casting a love spell on her. A bit of advice, love spells don't work on ponies who are resisting your advances." Luna paused and asked, "What the hay did you do to cause her to run off?"
Celestia replied, "Well for the first four days we were reading steamy romance novels but she just wouldn't get hot and bothered over them so I decided I would force her to want me. Even reading the steamiest novel I have did nothing to change her no nonsense attitude. All she cared about was getting to the advanced magic and that made me mad."
Luna asked, "Oh, was that it or did you do something absolutely horrible?"
Celestia replied, "Well on the fifth morning I crawled on top of her and forced myself on her. I forced her to kiss me. She tried to get loose but then I cast the love spell on her. That didn't work so I then crawled on her face and forced her to drink my juices and then smeared it all over her. For a while I thought my juices worked on her because she stopped struggling and told me she loved me. Then while we were eating breakfast I laid down in the grass next to the lake and when I woke up, she was gone."
When Luna heard what her sister had done to Twilight she threw up. She shouted "Good grief, how in Equestria could you do something that nasty, that immoral and that repulsive, especially to somepony you claim to care about? I'm pretty sure Twilight feels quite violated now. For you to think that by forcing her to drink your juices she would love you is downright stupid. You can't FORCE strong willed ponies love you against their will."
Celestia started crying and shouted, "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? JUST HOPE SHE WILL LOVE ME SOME DAY?"
Luna's eyes began to shine white and she shouted back, "How about you just accept the fact that you can't force Twilight to love you and get over it?" Luna's eyes returned to normal and she continued, "Now if you will excuse me I am going to go back to bed and try to get some sleep and hopefully not have daymares about what you did to Twilight. Do me a favor and keep quiet. I need my sleep."
By this time all of the royal guard had scattered and half of Canterlot heard her rant, including Twilight's parents. They knew better than to visit the palace during the day. They decided they would wait until the night when Luna would be in charge.
That night after Luna had returned from her patrol she saw Twilight's family heading up towards the palace. Luna flew down to them and asked, "What are you two doing here? If it involves your daughter, it is best if you avoid Celestia."
Twilight Velvet replied, "I know. We heard her rant and decided to wait to visit until you were in charge."
Night Light asked, "So what is going on between Celestia and Twilight anyway?"
Princess Luna stood before the two and told them everything. She told them about Celestia taking Twilight out to their old castle, the romance novels, Celestia forcing herself upon their daughter, the love spell, the decreeing Twilight as her wife, Twilight going missing and everything else. Twilight's parents began to cry. Velvet asked, "I never imagined that Celestia would do this. Do you have any feelings as to what might have happened to our daughter?"
Luna patted her on the shoulder and replied, "It is my belief that she has fled not only the Everfree Forest, but this part of Equestria entirely. There is a forest in the far south of our country that Celestia is scared to enter. Twilight knows this and I believe that she is heading that way."
Night Light asked, "Do you think she will make it?"
Luna replied, "Something within me is telling me that she is taking the path of gullies. This path covers the entire span from The Everfree Forest to the southern forest. If she does take that path, she will make it there safely."
Velvet said, "Come on honey, I think we better get back home in the event Celestia was to wake up and catch the three of us talking."
Luna nodded as the two headed back home. She flew back up to the balcony and continued her watch over the night. She was thinking to herself, "I really hope Twilight takes that path." Luna was seriously worried that Celestia would transform Twilight into an Alicorn and force her to be an eternal sex slave. Luna began to have tears thinking about this but then decided she would do anything within her power to save Twilight from this fate.
While Celestia was going on her rant Twilight continued her journey through the gullies. Luckily for her there were caves along the way to sleep in. As she continued southwards the number of bats that lived in the gullies began to increase, which did not bother her one bit but later on the increase in bats would work to her advantage. She was thinking to herself though, "Oh I wish Fluttershy was with me, she could talk to them and tell me everything they are saying."
One afternoon Twilight looked up and saw some trees along the edge of the gully, which brightened her spirits immensely. She climbed up to the top of the gully and discovered some apple trees and a huge lake. She shouted, "Finally, a good meal!"
Twilight sat up there devouring the apples and guzzling the water as she had not had a decent meal since she left the Everfree Forest. She was however, constantly looking around worrying that Celestia or some spy of her's would come and capture her. After two hours of feasting on apples and water, she jumped back down into the gully and continued her journey south.
In Canterlot the morning after her wrathful search and rant Celestia was looking off to the east with White Wings by her side. She asked, "White Wings, do you think she might be taking some weird path to hide somewhere? Do you think she will try to flee Equestria entirely?"
White Wings replied, "Well I'm not sure your Majesty but I do know there is a huge path of long dry gullies that run from the edge of the Everfree Forest to that forest in the deep south."
Celestia began to shake, She asked, "Fo-forest in the south? Y-you mean that really dense one?"
White Wings replied, "Yes, I could see her taking that path to wherever she is going. It is the one path that ponies can take that will provide them plenty of cover."
Celestia said, "Keep an eye on things and when Luna wakes up, tell where I have gone."
Before he could reply Celestia took off towards the east, bound and determined to capture Twilight. She said to herself, "Twilight, when I catch you I'll get all the kissing and sex I want."
It was late in the afternoon when Celestia reached the gullies. She began to fly above them but the further south she went, the more rocks began to cover the path, almost making it like an underground passage. Celestia, with as much as she wanted to acquire Twilight, refused to go down in there. There were too many things she was afraid of in passages like that.
Twilight continued her path southwards when she heard hooves walking overhead. This terrified her. She thought to herself, "What if it's Celestia? What if she has hunted me down and will kill me?"
Twilight then heard Celestia shouting, "I KNOW YOU'RE DOWN THERE SOMEWHERE TWILIGHT. YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!"
Unfortunately there was a gap in the rocks overhead but there was a cave there as well. Twilight ran into the cave hoping that Celestia's fear of caves would keep her safe. Celestia landed down at the entrance to the cave and was shouting, "TWILIGHT SPARKLE, COME OUT HERE AND I WON'T HARM YOU!"
Celestia's ears perked up when she heard noises coming from the cave. What would come out of the cave would not be what she expected. Suddenly bats came flying out of the cave. "AAAAH! BATS!" shouted Celestia. Her screaming caused bats in other caves to come out as well. Celestia took to the sky but hundreds and hundreds of bats were taking after her, almost as though they were protecting Twilight.
Very soon crows and ravens, which Celestia is also scared of, were chasing her away from the gullies. Twilight knew this was her chance. She bolted as fast as she could without tripping. Finally four hours later the gullies rose up to flat lands and before her stood the great forest of the south. Twilight got a big smile on her face and ran into the forest. Finally, Twilight was safe.
After running far enough into the forest that she couldn't be seen, she said to herself, "Finally! I'm safe!"
While Twilight was missing her friends little did she know that she would meet new friends in the forest that would not only keep her company, but would protect her and aid in seeing to it that Celestia got what she deserved.
Twilight continued to walk further into the forest and as she looked around she noticed that this forest was much darker than the Everfree Forest. With it now being the early evening, she had to use her horn to create some light. After around thirty minutes of walking she found a lake with plum bushes growing around it. Twilight headed to the lake and began drinking immediately. Very soon she then took to the plum bushes. She noticed that some of them had been eaten so she knew that she better not let her guard down.
Twilight, despite being worried about being attacked, slept better than she had in a long time and for the first time in ages, she didn't have any bad dreams. When she woke up in the morning it was still extremely dark. Like she did last night she used her horn to make some light and began to eat and drink. One thing she didn't know though, was that she wasn't alone.
Off in the distance two unicorn mares saw the dark pink light. The older unicorn said to the younger one, "Sunset, what if that is a spy for HER? What if that unicorn is coming to haul us back to Canterlot?"
Sunset replied, "Well Moonlight, we will go and see. There are two of us and only one of them. We will chase that pony out of here. After all, this is OUR home."
Twilight looked up when she heard some rustling in the bushes when suddenly she saw two ponies charging out of nowhere shouting, "GET HER!"
Very quickly Twilight found herself surrounded by two not so pleased unicorns. One of the unicorns was a tan colored mare with a red and yellow mane and tail with a shimmering sun for a cutie mark and the other was an older mare with a midnight blue coat, a light blue mane and tail with a moon and tulip cutie mark.
The older one immediately got in Twilight's face and asked, "What are you doing here? Who are you? Are you a spy for HER?"
Twilight was very nervous. She replied, "Well I am um, Twilight Sparkle. I am a student of Princess Celestia's...."
Sunset immediately interrupted her, "So you are a spy for HER. Moonlight, let's kill her!"
Both unicorns' horns were glowing ready to fry Twilight with energy when Twilight said, "Stop! You don't understand, I am fleeing from Celestia after some things she did to me."
Moonlight sneered, "Oh, and what did she do to you? Give you a bad grade, yell at you, put you in magic kindergarten?"
Twilight began to cry. She said, "No, she took me to the castle her and Luna used to live in and forced herself on me."
The attitudes of the two unicorns that had surrounded her changed entirely. They could tell that Twilight was truly running away from and hiding from Celestia. The older unicorn said, "We are sorry for the way we acted but we are always on the lookout for those who wish to take us back to Canterlot."
The younger unicorn asked, "What is your name?"
Twilight replied, "My name is Twilight Sparkle. At one point I was Princess Celestia's......"
Moonlight put her hoof over her mouth and reprimanded her. She said, "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER say that name here. Simply refer to that bitch as her or she." Moonlight looked at Twilight and said, "Continue."
Twilight said, "Ok, when I was a filly I was very gifted in magic. Once my parents let me go watch her raise the sun and I was fascinated by it. Immediately I became interested in magic and wanted so badly to get into the school for gifted unicorns. Well I had to pass an entrance exam by hatching a dragon's egg. After some help from a filly pegasus breaking the sound barrier I was able to do so."
Moonlight interrupted, "Seriously? That sounds like what happened with me, well except for the thing involving a pegasus."
Twilight continued, "Well I wound up moving into the castle and she raised me as her own. For quite some time everything was perfectly fine. Then the summer sun festival came along and she forced me to travel to Ponyville to make friends since that is where it was being held. Well one thing she didn't tell me is that Nightmare Moon was going to return....."
Sunset gasped, "Wait a minute, Nightmare Moon is real? She always told me she was just an old pony tale."
Twilight continued, "Yes, she is real. Well the friends I found down there happened to be the spirits of the Elements of Harmony. Well we defeated Nightmare Moon and transformed her back into Princess Luna. I stayed in Ponyville but then not too long after that she wanted me up in Canterlot for visits."
Moonlight asked, "I take it that it wasn't Princess Luna who wanted you up there."
Twilight continued, "No, it wasn't. Anyway I made the mistake of saying I miss the big meals so she starts having me come up there more often. Then one time she summoned me up there for a week. That was when she took me to the old castle. Once we got there she forced me to read these horrible romance novels with her. Well at first the worst she did was stroke her wing through my mane for the first couple days."
Moonlight asked, "Did things get worse after that?"
Twilight replied, "Yes, it did. On the fourth evening she brought out what she said was the most erotic of all her novels. Well we read it and naturally, I showed no interest and zero emotion. She didn't show it that night but I could sense her anger. We slept as we normally did, with our backs facing each other and then when the morning came, that is where the nightmare began."
Sunset asked, "What did she do to you?"
Twilight continued, "Well she had one torch lit by the bed. I ask her if it is time for breakfast and she says 'not yet my love, not yet.' That kind of creeped me out. Then she climbed on top of me, told me how sexy I was and that she wanted me so much. She forced me into a passionate tongue kiss with her."
Twilight became more emotional as she continued, "Well I broke free of the kiss and yelled at her to get off of me. That is when she decreed me as her wife and did something really gross."
Sunset's eyes began to grow more concerned as she had a feeling what Twilight was going to say next. She said, "I have a bad feeling that what she did to you was very humiliating and that you felt betrayed."
Twilight replied, "Yes, I did. She sat on me to where her vagina was directly over my mouth, pressing all her weight down on my head forcing it down into the pillows." Twilight began to cry as she continued, "And then she ordered me to eat her. I had no clue what she meant and she screamed at me to run my tongue up in her. So I did and she started calling out my name and soon my mouth was full of her disgusting nectar as she called it. She threatened me if I didn't swallow it, so I did."
Sunset asked, "What did she threaten you with?"
Twilight replied, "She just said I would do it if I knew what was good for me. Then to humiliate me further, she started rubbing her vagina all over me, covering me in more of her juices, almost like she was marking me as her property." Twilight continued crying harder and harder and finished, "I never felt more pathetic in my life. I felt like dirty street trash. I felt like scum." Twilight then screamed, "I WANT TO KILL HER. I DO. I WANT TO KILL THAT SLUT FOR WHAT SHE DID TO ME!"
Both ponies looked at each other in shock over what Twilight had just told them. Moonlight asked, "Did drinking her juices put you under her spell for a while?"
Twilight replied, "Yes, there was something that it did to me that made me want her. It made me want her to be more aggressive with me. It made me feel like I deserved to be treated like a trashy whore."
By this point Twilight was shaking because of her crying being so hard. Sunset and Moonlight hugged her as she continued, "Then we went out to eat at the lake. I had to get that horrible taste out of my mouth, but it seemed like for a while, no matter how much I drank, that nasty taste was still there."
Sunset asked, "How did you finally break free of her spell?"
Twilight replied, "Well she wanted me to go lay in the grass with her. I asked her if I could continue to eat and drink. She let me and finally I must have drank enough water to break the spell."
Moonlight asked, "Did she fall asleep in the grass waiting for you to finish eating and drinking?"
Twilight replied, "Yes, she did. When she fell asleep I knew it was my chance. But before I left I submerged myself in the lake for a minute to get that stench off of me."
Sunset looked shocked. She said, "Wow, you're brave! I didn't get a chance for over a week to wash that off of me. I was too scared to take the time to wash right away."
Moonlight added, "You and I must think alike Twilight Sparkle. I did the same thing you did. I didn't want her stench on me any longer than I had to."
Twilight asked, "So I take it she did the same thing to you two?"
Sunset replied, "Yes, that bitch did the same thing to me."
Moonlight added, "That whore humiliated me the exact same way."
After sharing so much with them Twilight wanted to know their names so she asked, "Don't get mad at me but I told you my name. What are your names?"
Moonlight gasped, "Oh I'm sorry Twilight Sparkle. I suppose after everything you shared the least we could do is tell you our names. My name is Moonlight Tulip, but you can just call me Moonlight."
Sunset added, "My name is Sunset Shimmer, although you may call me Sunset for short."
Twilight said, "Well since you are letting me be informal you can just call me Twilight."
They were amazed yet horrified that Celestia had done the exact same thing to all three of them. They then began to discuss how they got away from Celestia and they were all amazed when every single one of them got away in the exact same manner. After discussing all of this, the three of them created a pact that they would always look out for one another, no matter what.
Twilight asked, "So how long have you two been here?"
Moonlight replied, "Well given that all I can really go by is the pitch darkness and the dim light, I'm not really sure. I would guess it has been at least 50 years."
Sunset added, "I think I have been here around 5 years. I will say this though, Moonlight has become a mother figure for me, she has been more of a mother for me than my biological mother was."
Moonlight embraced her and replied, "Well you have been like the daughter I never had. There are many ponies here but I have connected with none of them like I have you."
Twilight asked, "Wait a minute, there are more than just you two?"
Moonlight replied, "Yes, there are many more."
Twilight asked, "What caused them to come here?"
Moonlight replied, "They came here for the same reason we are here. Ponies have been coming here for refuge for hundreds of years!"
Twilight said, "Wow, so this must be a very safe place."
Moonlight replied, "It is." She paused for a moment before adding, "Since you are going to be living here, you will need to come to the community we have built up over the centuries. There you can meet your fellow villagers and the one who founded this sanctuary for us, Radiant Hope."
The three headed further into the forest and Twilight was trying to process everything. She was surprised that there were so many ponies that had fled from Celestia and the fact that they were still alive made her wonder. She had heard the name Radiant Hope before but figured that it couldn't be the one she knew about. She thought to herself, "There is no way she could still be alive, she ran away from Celestia over a thousand years ago!"

This chapter will be done mostly in a back and forth dialogue format.
Becoming One of Them
After probably an hour of walking, the three finally arrived in the village. Twilight looked around in wonder as they headed in. She noticed that the trees had been hollowed out and that the ponies were living in them. Another thing she noticed is that every single pony present was a unicorn mare. She did believe Moonlight and Sunset over it being a place where former proteges of Celestia fled to but she didn't know exactly how many. Once they got to the center of town, Twilight saw something that might explain why there were still so many former proteges alive.
She got Moonlight's attention and asked, "That crystal in the town square, what is it?"
Moonlight replied, "There is a reason why her first protege is still alive, that crystal spreads a special kind of magic."
Sunset added, "The magic it spreads gives us the long lives that we have, lives that away from the problems of the outside world, lives that are perfectly happy."
Twilight continued to look around the town and saw that there were several trees that appeared to grow together that had been hollowed out. She asked, "That over there, what is it for?"
Sunset suggested, "Moonlight, shall we have her meet our founder? Shall we have her meet the first?"
Moonlight replied, "Yes. If she is going to live with us, Radiant must know of her presence and recognize her as one of us."
Twilight followed the two towards what appeared to be the palace. At the door stood two guards, guards that developed stern looks on their faces once they saw her. Moonlight addressed one of the guards, "Shooting Star, we have a pony with us who has fled from 'you know who' and she needs to speak to the Queen about becoming one of us."
The guard gave her a smile, "Alright Moonlight, I will go and see if she can see her."
Shooting Star headed in and Twilight became nervous. She asked, "Do you think she'll even see me or do you think she'll even let me stay?"
Sunset gave her a smile, "Don't worry Twilight. I went through the same thing when Moonlight brought me here and don't worry, Queen Radiant Hope is perfectly nice."
After a couple minutes Shooting Star approached Twilight and said, "The queen said she will see you" she noticed that Moonlight and Sunset were going to follow her and added, "alone."
Twilight gave the two a nervous smile and followed her in. When Twilight saw her, she did know that it was the same Radiant Hope that was friends with Sombra so long ago. She approached the throne, bowed and said, "Your Majesty."
Radiant addressed her, "From what Shooting Star has told me, you wish to see me?"
Twilight replied, "I do."
Radiant asked, "I have had this situation happen before many times and I'm assuming you are fleeing the one who shall only be known as the tyrant?"
Twilight replied, "That is correct."
Radiant ordered, "Tell me about your past, primarily about what happened with her."
Twilight began, "Well my name is Twilight Sparkle and when I was a filly I was fascinated with magic and I ultimately got into the school for gifted unicorns and became the tyrant's protege. When I was a filly, everything seemed to be just fine. It was a normal student/teacher relationship. Even after I matured, things seemed to be ok until she had sent me down to Ponyville to set up for the summer sun celebration."
Radiant asked, "This summer sun celebration, what is it?"
Twilight replied, "It was an event that was celebrated to commemorate her defeat of Nightmare Moon. When I got sent there, Nightmare Moon returned and I had to befriend five other ponies to help me harness the power of the Elements of Harmony to defeat her. In the end we defeated Nightmare Moon and since I had finally made some friends, she decided I could stay in Ponyville with them to learn more about friendship."
"I see, please continue."
"Things were going fine for a few months but then all of a sudden she was wanting me to go up to Canterlot to see her. One morning I made a comment about how I had missed the big meals since I never got big ones down in Ponyville and suddenly it seemed like she was obsessed with me returning to Canterlot. On that day she had us studying love spells of all things and she was holding me close the whole time. Needless to say, I didn't like it."
"Did you let her know of your displeasure?"
"I didn't because I was afraid of how she would react. Well I went home and roughly three months later she wanted me to return to Canterlot for a week to study advanced magic and that is when she took me to her and Luna's old castle, to allegedly study advanced magic."
Radiant nodded and Twilight continued, "And that was when everything started to get weird. She took me down into her private library and bedroom where for the first four days, she would continue to hold me close and she forced me to read these stupid romance novels, every single one we read was raunchier than the last but it was on the fifth morning that everything became a complete nightmare."
"Tell me, what did she do to you?"
Twilight began to get emotional, "Well she had one torch lit by the bed. I asked her if it is time for breakfast and she said 'not yet my love, not yet.' That kind of creeped me out. Then she climbed on top of me, told me how sexy I was and that she wanted me so much. She forced me into a passionate tongue kiss with her."
This was something that Radiant had heard many times so she nodded and motioned for Twilight to continue. She became more emotional as she continued, "Well I broke free of the kiss and yelled at her to get off of me. That is when she decreed me as her wife and did something really gross."
Radiant gave her a sympathetic look and asked, "She has done that to many, decreed them as her wife. What was it that she did to you that was really gross?"
Twilight began to cry loudly, She sat on me to where her vagina was directly over my mouth, pressing all her weight down on my head forcing it down into the pillows. And then she ordered me to eat her. I had no clue what she meant and she screamed at me to run my tongue up in her. So I did and she started calling out my name and soon my mouth was full of her disgusting nectar as she called it. She threatened me if I didn't swallow it, so I did."
"I'm really sorry to hear that she did that to you Twilight."
Twilight continued to cry, "Then to humiliate me further, she started rubbing her vagina all over me, covering me in more of her juices, almost like she was marking me as her property." Twilight continued crying harder and harder and finished, "I never felt more pathetic in my life. I felt like dirty street trash. I felt like scum."
Radiant saw that Twilight was beginning to shake she was crying so hard. She got off the throne, embraced Twilight and said, "It's ok Twilight, you're safe now. You don't have to worry about her ever again."
Twilight continued to cry, "I know but what was worse is that her nasty juices made me want her for a while. They made me want her for a while until I drank enough water to break the spell. Thankfully she let me keep eating and drinking while she slept in the grass. That is how I was able to escape, I escaped while she was sleeping."
Radiant gave her another embrace and said, "Your story mirrors that of everypony who has fled here Twilight Sparkle, well except for you having to set up a festival for her." She gave Twilight a warm smile and stated, "Twilight, your history mirrors that of all the mares who have fled here before so effective immediately, you are one of us. As one of us though, you will have responsibilities and given it was Moonlight and Sunset who brought you in, your duties will be performed with them."
Twilight knew exactly what it was and while she was a bit nervous about going north with them, she knew that inside the forest she would be safe. She said, "Your Majesty, I would be honored to join Moonlight and Sunset on their patrols off to the north in the direction of Equestria."
Radiant gave her a smile, "Wow Twilight, what are you, a mind reader?" She paused for a moment before adding, "Regarding where you will live, I am certain that Moonlight will help you with that. She did the same thing for Sunset Shimmer."
Twilight asked, "So will I be getting some sort of citizenship card or what?"
"Well we aren't exactly our own country so we don't have those yet but hopefully someday something will happen. Maybe someday everything will go to Tartarus in Equestria and we can become our own country." She paused for a moment before finishing, "Twilight Sparkle, I would advise now you go and speak to Moonlight and Sunset Shimmer about housing arrangements."
Twilight bowed and replied, "Yes your Majesty."
As she left the palace she was greeted by Moonlight and Sunset. She exclaimed, "I'm one of us now! I am a citizen, I can stay!"
The two embraced her and they began to celebrate. Moonlight exclaimed, "I'm so happy for you Twilight and don't worry, Sunset and I have an extra bedroom so you can live with us if you want."
Sunset asked, "So Twilight, what will your responsibility be?"
Twilight gave the two a smile, "Well I get to go with you two on your patrols to the north. Hopefully we won't run across anything troublesome." Twilight then cracked a joke, "Unless that chickenshit gets over her fears of bats, crows and dark forests, we've got nothing to worry about!"
The three shared a laugh before Moonlight suggested, "Twilight, what do you say we get you settled in. You're one of us now and you need a good roof over your head."
Twilight followed Moonlight and Sunset to what was now her home. After surviving everything Celestia had put her through, Twilight felt fully at peace. She knew for sure that there was no chance that she would ever have to deal with Celestia and the horrors she had put her through ever again.
Time passed slowly for Celestia in Canterlot. Despite it being only five years since Twilight ran off, it seemed like it had been a century for her. With it being the five year anniversary since Twilight ran away Celestia was crying so loud that she woke up Luna. Luna stormed out into the throne room and growled, "Celestia, I am trying to sleep. What the hay are you crying about?"
Celestia replied, "It has been five years to the day."
Luna rolled her eyes and asked, "Five years to the day of what?" Luna paused for a minute and then remembered. She continued, "You aren't still sad over Twilight running away are you?"
Celestia shouted, "Yes Luna, I am. Wouldn't you be sad if a student of yours ran away like that?"
Luna rolled her eyes and replied, "I wouldn't know because I don't have a school for gifted unicorns nor do I have any students and besides even if I did, I wouldn't try to seduce my students and force them to be my wife." Luna paused for a minute and continued, "Ugh, I still don't know how you could do that to anypony, especially somepony you claimed to love. I'm surprised you haven't found a new protege to ultimately haul out there and try to seduce."
Celestia started to cry and said, "I don't want to do that. I will wait for my Twily."
Luna sneered, "Oh I will wait for my Twily! I will wait for the pony who doesn't love me! Wah, wah, wah!"
Celestia cried, "No need to be so mean. You have no clue what it is like to fall in love and be sexually attracted...."
Luna interrupted, "WHAT? SEXUALLY ATTRACTED?" Luna lowered her voice and continued, "How in Equestria can you be sexually attracted to your students? Ugh if they would come in and study at night I would take over the school for gifted unicorns to protect them from your perversion."
Celestia gave Luna a look that could kill. She screamed, "WELL THEY WON'T. YOU WILL NOT TURN MY STUDENTS INTO EMOTIONLESS DRONES."
Luna replied, "No, I wouldn't turn them into emotionless drones. However, I would not only teach them advanced magic but I would also teach them to always be on the lookout for ponies who don't have their best interests in mind, ponies such as YOU!"
Celestia screamed, "Oh so you would not only teach them to be overly paranoid but you would probably teach them to be rude bitches just like you are as well?"
Luna smacked her sister across the face for that comment. She shouted, "Rude bitches? Well let me tell you something Celestia, a rude bitch has a lot more honor than a sex starved, student seducing teacher like you!"
Celestia was becoming more agitated with every minute. She not only didn't like how Luna was yelling at her but she also became more and more scared that Luna would eventually find out the truth. Celestia was getting ready to say something when Luna continued, "You know what sister, I'm surprised you haven't turned any of your students into Alicorns and forced them to be an eternal sex slave."
Celestia became enraged by that comment. She fired fired a powerful bolt of energy at Luna but missed. She then started crying and ran up to her room. Luna looked at White Wings and growled, "Oh great, she's going to start acting like this again. Well it looks like I won't be getting much sleep anytime soon."
White Wings asked, "Your Majesty, do you really think she would do that to her students?"
Luna replied, "Yes, I do. Didn't you see how much in a hurry she was to get Twilight out to the castle back then? Didn't you hear when she admitted to me that she crawled on top of Twilight, forced herself on Twilight and how she referred to Twilight as her submissive little wife?"
White Wings shook his head and said, "It has been a long time since then so I don't fully remember what all happened but I think it was Flash Sentry who was in here that day." He paused for a minute and continued, "Well I was a brand new guardspony when I remember her taking another student off to that castle. This student showed a lot of desire for power. She loved to study but she wasn't nearly as respectful to Celestia as Twilight was."
Luna asked, "What happened once her and this student got back?"
White Wings replied, "Well the student didn't come back with her. What happened was an exact duplicate of what happened with Twilight. The student ran away, Celestia went flying out looking for her but never found her."
Luna asked, "What was this student's name?"
White Wings replied, "Her name was Sunset Shimmer. I remember her and Flash were an item for a while and that really angered Celestia. I heard her yelling at Flash once telling him that Sunset belonged to her and that she was off limits to him."
Luna said, "Well I think this is all I really need to know and I think I know where Sunset ran off to, the same place I think Twilight ran off to but that I won't reveal at this time."
White Wings knew that Luna had an idea where they went and that she would do anything to protect any pony who Celestia tried to seduce. Despite him being a member of Celestia's royal guard, he saw what it was believed that Celestia did was wrong, so he would act like nothing was wrong and tell the solar princess nothing regarding his talk with her sister.
After their argument the rest of the day began to return to being somewhat normal. By the afternoon Celestia was back out in the throne room, albeit refusing to interact with anypony except her royal guardsponies. She looked over towards White Wings and could tell that he seemed a bit nervous. She had a feeling that Luna had talked to him about something so she was going to find out. She asked, "White Wings, what did you and Luna talk about after I went to my room? What did you say about me?"
White Wings shied back a bit and replied, "Oh we just talked about how worried we were about you. We talked a bit about how your emotions may interfere with your ability to fulfill your royal obligations."
Celestia slammed her hoof on the floor and shouted, "WHAT? SHE WANTS ME OUT OF THE PICTURE DOESN'T SHE? SHE WANTS TO BE QUEEN DOESN'T SHE?"
White Wings nervously replied, "No your Majesty, she never said anything about wanting you out of the picture or wanting to be queen. She is just worried about this whole Twilight thing destroying you."
Celestia snapped, "Well it won't destroy me. All I see in this situation is a pony who seeks to take full control of Equestria by deeming me too incompetent and emotionally unstable to rule!"
Flash Sentry was also in the throne room and asked, "Your Majesty, no offense but don't you think you should keep it down? You don't want Luna storming out here again do you?"
White Wings added, "Flash has a good point. You don't want Luna to become even more angry do you? When she is mad she really scares me."
Celestia growled, "Oh you two are such wimps. Luna's royal guards aren't scared of me when I am mad."
Flash replied, "Well they are bat ponies and bat ponies are very difficult to scare. Now let's stop all this Luna talk. She will be waking up soon anyway."
A couple hours pass and Luna wakes up for what is her breakfast. That night in the dining hall everything went as it normally would. Luna didn't say a word about Celestia's behavior and the two even cracked a few jokes. Finally it was time for them to do their royal duties. They headed out to the balcony and Celestia asked, "What are your plans for tonight?"
Luna replied, "Oh you know, the normal. Do patrols to make sure nothing is lurking out there, keeping the manticores in the Everfree Forest in check. I have heard reports of timberwolves prowling around the outskirts of Ponyville, so I will also be going to check on that."
Celestia sighed, "You know something, you have such an easy job. You and Gray Wings get to go out during the calm nights and just make sure things are safe while I have to deal with the events of the day. I always have these mayors and other dignitaries here bugging me with paperwork, asking me for favors and everything else that seems problematic. Sometimes I really envy you."
Luna replied, "I can understand that. As for me, I don't envy you. I find dealing with such matters most unpleasant and quite stressful."
After doing their royal duties and ten minutes more of chitchat Celestia decided it was time for bed. After she headed to bed Luna was talking to Gray Wings and a few more of her royal guardsponies. She said, "Alright guys, tonight is the night that we are going to go search for Twilight and Sunset."
Before Luna could continue Gray Wings asked, "But your Majesty, that forest off to the south is an extremely long ways away. It is a six hour flight just to get there. Who knows how long it will take to find Twilight and you have to be back here by six to lower the moon so Celestia can raise the sun."
She looked over towards one of her younger guardsponies, Yellow Eyes, and said, "Yellow Eyes, I need you to stand guard by my door. If my sister asks what is going on and why I am already in bed, tell her that I have gotten sick and that I have an extremely contagious illness and that she will need to lower the moon."
Yellow Eyes asked, "Your Majesty, do you think that will work?"
Luna replied, "Yes, it will. Just as she is scared of bats, she is scared of ponies with illnesses. For an Alicorn to get sick, it has to be a really nasty virus. That way she will know not to check on me."
Luna and three of her other guardsponies took off to the south with great haste. Luna was a bit frustrated because bat ponies can not fly as fast as Alicorns can. If they could, she would have flown so fast she would have broke the sound barrier and got there in an hour.
Finally six hours pass and they get to the edge of the forest. Luna orders them to land a few miles into the forest. It was pitch dark, as dark as dark can get until Luna created a powerful bright, white light using her horn. They headed further into the forest until they saw a lake with three unicorns sleeping soundly around it. They approached the lake until the purple unicorn woke up and charged towards her.
Very quickly the other two unicorns woke up and confronted Luna and her guard. Sunset was shouting, "She has ordered you to come here and take us back to Canterlot, hasn't she?"
Moonlight continued, "Well that ain't happening. I'll drown myself before I go back to her."
Twilight added, "How could you aid the tyrant who banished you to the moon for a thousand years?"
Luna did not like all the accusations. Her eyes began to shine white and she shouted, "You have it all wrong Twilight Sparkle. I have come to find you so we can press the proper charges against my sister."
Twilight looked stunned. She didn't even know that charges could be pressed against Celestia. She asked, "Press charges?"
Luna replied, "Yes, press charges. I have heard about what she has done to not just you, but another pony named Sunset Shimmer."
Sunset asked, "Wait a minute, you're Princess Luna?"
Luna replied, "Yes. White Wings has spoken of you and how he remembers you being taken off to the castle."
Moonlight asked, "What about me? Did he mention anything about me?"
Luna asked, "Who are you? You appear to be older so I doubt he would know anything about you."
Moonlight replied, "Well I was a protege of the tyrant a bit over 50 years ago. She took me out to the old castle you and her used to call home and forced herself on me."
Luna was stunned. While she had a feeling that Celestia had done that to other ponies, she now had the evidence that she suspected to be true. She asked, "I want to know something, are there any other ponies in this forest that she has done that to?"
Moonlight replied, "Yes, there are many and every single one of us fled from your sister after she tried to force herself on us and decreed that we were her wives."
Luna stood there shocked. She began to realize that this may have very well been going on since not too long after she was banished to the moon. She looked at the three and said, "Well we are going to make sure that she answers for her crimes."
She then looked over at two of her guardsponies and said, "Ok you two, you are to lead these three back to Canterlot so they can testify against my sister."
Before she could finish Twilight shouted, "NO! WE ARE NOT GOING BACK TO CANTERLOT! WE ARE STAYING HERE IN THE FOREST, ALL OF US."
Moonlight added, "There are many of us who have suffered at her hooves yet we simply want to put this behind us. This is our home and we simply want to wash our hooves of our pasts."
Sunset finished, "Our pasts that were ruined by her."
Luna continued, "Listen, we are going to get my sister put in enchanted chains. Tell you what, after she has been put in chains and thrown in the dungeon, I will come for you. Does that make things any better?"
Moonlight growled, "Oh, and how do we know you are not lying?"
Twilight added, "What part of we just want to be left alone don't you get?" She paused for a moment before adding, "I mean no disrespect Princess Luna but our lives are here."
Sunset finished, "Yes we want Celestia to be punished but we are all sisters out here, sisters who simply want to live in peace."
Luna sighed, "Very well but if any of you ever change your minds, let me know and we can get charges pressed against her."
The three nodded before Luna and her guardsponies headed back towards Canterlot. Luna couldn't understand why Twilight and her "sisters" wouldn't want charges pressed against Celestia for everything she did. She thought that maybe it was that they simply had no desire to interact with the outside world but it did frustrate her quite a bit.
When Luna returned to Canterlot it was a couple hours after when breakfast would have been served. She had to fly around to the back of the castle and go into her room through the window so that she would not get caught and be questioned by Celestia. Once she got in her chambers she was dead tired so she crawled into bed and was able to get some much needed sleep.
It was around six in the morning and Celestia was a bit earlier to rise than normal. During the night, she had nothing but nightmares, nightmares from the day that Twilight ran away. She had dreams that not only had she ran away but she ran away to someplace she couldn't get to and wound up finding a special mare of her own, a mare who was not her. She quietly growled, "I still don't get it, why would she just run away from me? Her life would have been perfect with me!"
She then decided to go and see what was going on with Luna so that they could take care of their duties, eat breakfast and then Luna could get to bed and she could take care of some things she wanted to handle that day, the objective of hunting down Twilight, capturing her and bringing her back to Canterlot where she felt she belonged.
When she arrived at the door to Luna's chambers, she saw one of her guardponies standing there which was not normal, nor was Luna's door being closed at that time of the day normal either. She asked the guard, "Yellow Eyes, right?"
He replied, "Yes, I'm Yellow Eyes."
She asked, "May I ask why my sister's door is closed and why you are standing here guarding it? Normally she isn't even home yet."
Yellow Eyes looked her straight in the eyes and responded, "Princess Celestia, something happened overnight. She wound up getting really sick all of a sudden and we had to come home. I'm not sure what happened but she was throwing up on the way home and once we got back, I immediately got her to bed."
This caused Celestia to be a bit suspicious, "She's sick? That can't be because Alicorns don't get sick unless it is some sort of virus that would kill a regular pony." She then gave him a more intense look and asked, "What about you, aren't you afraid of getting sick."
Yellow Eyes replied, "Bat ponies and thestrals are immune to regular equine illnesses." He saw Celestia grab Luna's door and suggested, "I wouldn't go in there if I were you. She has green spots on her face and when I put my hoof up to her forehead, she was burning hot."
Celestia was gazing into the guardpony's eyes and she did not detect even the slightest bit of a lie. She then asked, "I'm assuming she is going to need me to lower the moon?"
Yellow Eyes replied, "Yes, she asked me to as you about that."
Celestia suddenly became more happy, "Well of course I can do that. I certainly don't want her having to exert that much energy when she is this ill."
Celestia then headed off to lower the moon and raise the sun. She was thrilled because with Luna being that ill, she could go out and capture Twilight and get back without her sister suspecting a thing. Once she was out of earshot of anypony she exclaimed, "Yes, today is the day! Today is the day that I can acquire what is rightfully mine." She then calmed down and added, "And tonight Twilight Sparkle, you will be in bed with me, where you belong."
She then thought about the forest and sighed, "This will require that you go into the southern forest but damn it Celestia, it is either you conquer your fears or you'll never have Twilight."
After handling the celestial bodies and having a quick breakfast, Celestia began to think about if she truly wanted to do this. She did want Twilight back in her hooves very badly but the thoughts of the forest still scared her. She was thinking about how the crows, bats and ravens scared her off earlier and how if she couldn't handle those that she could never handle the forest.
Finally around nine she made her decision, "This is too important Celestia. Forest or no forest, I'm getting my Twily back no matter what."
As Celestia began to fly off to the south-east of Canterlot, she had her concerns that Luna wasn't truly sick and would catch her and haul her back to Canterlot. She believed that Luna wanted sole power but she was not about to allow that to happen nor was she going to allow Twilight to aid what she believed was helping her sister take full power.
She didn't really believe that Luna was sick and had a feeling that she might ultimately wonder what was up when she would not go to check on her. She then realized that Luna knew of her fear of ponies with illnesses but that did not stop her from flying as fast as she possibly could without tiring herself out too quickly.
When she finally reached the gullies, she took off to the south. She then began to think about the forest that she would have to go into to find Twilight. Dark places had always scared her, as had darker colored creatures along with chickens but she knew that if she wanted to get the one she had deemed her wife back that she would have to face her fears. When she finally saw the forest off in the distance, she slowed down a bit and realized that simply thinking about conquering her fears was one thing but actually facing them was another thing entirely.
When she landed in front of the forest, she began to shake wondering what all existed in there. She had her concerns that there may be things far worse in there than timberwolves in there. She also knew that Twilight wasn't scared of such things and could handle things if a dangerous creature attacked, she knew that Twilight would attack it and easily fry it with her magic.
She looked backwards and then back into the forest and gulped, "Well, I better do this if I want my subservient little Twily back."
As she walked forward and stepped into the forest, she got a case of the shivers. She began to get scared but her desire to capture Twilight was simply too great for her to stop. She then figured that if she ran, there would be a smaller chance of something being able to attack her. She also knew that she was going to need more light to see so that she wouldn't risk tripping and falling so she flared her horn up to where it was providing an adequate amount of light.
The canopy of the forest continued to get thicker and it got darker the further she headed in. After thirty minutes of running, Celestia was incredibly tired and she had to stop. When she stopped she saw that there was a lake off in the distance so she decided to get a drink of water. She was also hungry so she headed over to what looked like plum bushes but much to her dismay they had been picked clean. She thought to herself, "Certainly Twilight couldn't have cleaned these off herself."
She then realized that this forest may be where not just she had ran off to, but perhaps the protege she had before her, Sunset Shimmer. She growled, "So that disobedient little bitch came here too? Well she will pay dearly for her disrespect and abandoning her wife."
After drinking a bit more water she decided to head further into the forest and it continued to get darker, dark enough to the point that she had to flare her horn up to as bright as she could. She continued to head south until she could make out another lake in the distance, one with three figures laying on the far side of it.
On the far side of the lake were resting three unicorns, one of which was woken up by the golden aura off in the distance. Despite it being decades since she had seen it, she knew who it belonged to. She rushed to the other two, shook them and whispered, "It's her, she is coming for us."
Twilight looked up and sure enough, they saw a golden aura off in the distance. This unnerved Sunset but scared Twilight a bit. Twilight gasped, "But how, she's terrified of this forest. One time she vowed never to come in here."
Sunset replied, "Well she must want one of us so bad she decided to face her fears." She tapped Twilight's shoulder and added, "It's probably you she wants so bad."
Moonlight ordered, "Teleport up into the trees. I know how we can handle this, after we're done with her, we can live here in peace."
The three teleported up into the trees and waited for Celestia to approach. Twilight was admittedly nervous but knew that she had to be as brave as Moonlight, she knew that she couldn't show any fear.
On the other side of the lake Celestia saw three flashes of light before the figures disappeared. One of the lights was a dark pink, another was red and another was midnight blue. She knew who the red and dark pink ones belonged to but had no clue as to who the other belonged to. She sighed, "The third one, who could that belong to? Do they have a matriarch living here to protect them?"
She began to walk around the lake to try and find the three figures she had seen. She then heard rustling in the leaves above her. She yelled, "Who's there?"
Nopony answered and she continued to walk around to the other side of the lake until she felt herself being burned by three separate bolts of energy. She heard one of them yell, "Slam her into a tree, slam her into a tree!"
The three then jumped out of the trees and surrounded her. The midnight blue one grabbed her in her aura and slammed her headfirst into a tree, breaking her horn off. The unicorn then yelled, "Her legs, break them! We can't have her escaping!"
The other two took to her legs and broke them. Celestia was screaming in agony as the unicorns attacked her. Once she was laying there helpless screaming in agony, the three unicorns surrounded her. One who sounded a bit older kicked her in the head and yelled, "How dare you, how dare you think you can come into our territory and foalnap us."
The second yelled, "You dirty bitch, you really think we'd ever go back with you?"
The third burned her with her energy and screamed, "We'll never go back with you, we're never leaving this place and you can't make us."
Once Celestia finally got her bearings straight, she immediately recognized two of the unicorns. "Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, you little tyrants. You belong to me and you're coming...."
Sunset burned her with some energy and laughed, "Oh we're not going anywhere and you're not either!"
The midnight blue one approached her and spit on her, "You have a lot of nerve coming in here, thinking you can haul us back to Canterlot so you can haul us back out to your shithole castle to rape us again."
Celestia then realized who the third unicorn was. There was only one student of hers that referred to her old castle as a shithole. She glared at her, "Oh Moonlight Tulip, it is you. It is the most disrespectful protege I ever......."
Moonlight burned her in the face and screamed, "Shut up bitch." The three grabbed her in their aura and began to drag her even deeper into the forest. Moonlight added, "You shall answer for your crimes against us, you shall answer for your crimes against every single protege you've ever had, all 200+ of us."
Twilight then thought about something, her horn. She knew that Radiant Hope would likely want it. She grabbed Celestia's horn in her aura and stated, "We better bring this. I know the queen will want this."
Sunset replied, "She will." She looked at Celestia and snarled, "And no, you will not be getting it back. You can not be trusted with magic nor do you deserve to have it."
As Celestia was being dragged off, she knew that she was in a world of trouble. She wasn't sure exactly what was going to happen but what concerned her was that every single protege she ever had somehow managed to survive for centuries. She thought to herself, "Maybe if I beg for mercy, they'll at least heal my legs and let me go."
A couple hours after being captured and being dragged into a darker part of the forest, Celestia saw what looked like a community off in the distance. She had a strong feeling that she would not be greeted very well and would be shunned by everypony there. Once they got into town, everypony began to scream, "It's her, it's the tyrant! Kill her!"
Moonlight yelled, "We can not kill her, I am sure the queen will want her as a bargaining chip." The three then dragged her to the entrance of the palace where they were greeted by two guards. One of the guards, Shooting Star asked, "What is she doing here?" She then noticed that Twilight had her horn in her aura and smiled, "I'm assuming you captured her and neutralized her magic?"
Sunset replied, "We have."
Twilight added, "After neutralizing the threat, we knew that the queen would want us to bring her here."
The guard, Shooting Star, grabbed Celestia in her aura and suggested, "How about we get her in here and then we can see to it that she is justly punished."
Once they got Celestia dragged into the throne room it was not Radiant Hope who was waiting for them, it was the first pony Celestia had sexually assaulted, Princess Glimmering Starlight. Moonlight bowed and said, "Your Majesty, we have captured a trespasser in the northern part of the forest."
Out of all the ponies that Celestia had committed crimes against, Glimmering Starlight harbored among the most hatred towards Celestia. She kicked her and demanded, "Tell me, what caused you to come into our territory? You should know we all despise you with a passion."
Celestia began to stutter causing Twilight to demand, "Speak you bitch, tell the princess what she wants to know."
Celestia tried to speak but being grabbed in multiple auras she was unable to. The princess ordered, "Let go of her so she may speak."
The aura was released and Celestia thought that maybe she could get away. She didn't have her magic or use of her legs but she did have her wings. She took to the air and headed towards the exit until Sunset shot her down, causing her to fall and break one of her wings. The unicorns surrounded her and the princess ordered, "Now tell us, what caused you to come into our territory."
Celestia snapped, "You know what, I didn't even know all of you were still alive. I thought my sexy little Twily was here alone and I could take her back home with me."
Twilight began stomping on her and yelled, "Well you thought wrong and I'm not going back with you, none of us are going back with you."
Moonlight laughed, "And it looks like you won't be going anywhere any time soon!"
The doors in the back of the throne room opened and a voice yelled, "What is all this commotion about?"
The princess yelled, "Your Majesty, we have captured a trespasser from the north, the highest level one you can get."
Radiant Hope approached Celestia and immediately a scowl formed on her face. She flared her horn up and struck Celestia with a powerful bolt of energy, causing her to cry in pain. She stood right over her and yelled, "What the hell were you doing here? Why is it you were captured and brought in?"
Celestia repeated what she had told the princess and this made Radiant angrier, "You know what Celestia, you have been doing this for a thousand years but that stops now. You foolishly believed you could take one of us back and came into our territory." Celestia attempted to say something but Radiant would continue, "Now the time has come for you to be punished for a thousand years of sexually assaulting your proteges. You may get away with this up in Equestria but here, not so much."
Glimmering Starlight asked, "Do you want us to put her in a cage and haul her out to face all those she has wronged?"
Radiant replied, "Yes, I do. She must face those she has wronged." She then noticed that Twilight had her horn and ordered, "Twilight, give me her horn. It must be locked away, never to see the light of day again."
Twilight levitated the horn to her and replied, "Yes your Majesty."
Celestia was quickly locked up in a cage and hauled out in front of the palace where there were a few ponies outside watching what was going on. Over the next couple hours, the crowd grew from under ten to over two hundred. When they all saw who it was that was captured, the calls for her death began. One yelled, "It is her, it is the tyrant. Kill the bitch."
Another yelled, "Burn her!"
A third yelled, "Horn rape the bitch! Make her suffer worse than we ever did."
Once the crowd began calling for Celestia's death, Radiant Hope, Glimmering Starlight and those who captured Celestia got up on the stage.
Radiant began, "Well everypony, the most vile, disgusting and evil villain of all time has been captured. We have all been wronged by her in one way or another...."
Celestia screamed, "Not you you bitch! The worst I did was banish your friend to the ice of the arctic north."
Radiant burned her with some energy, "That is correct but still, there are over two hundred mares here you have violated. You have forced yourself on us, marked us and forced us to drink your disgusting juices simply because you had power. You have decreed all these mares before you as your wife all because we were your proteges and you have forced yourself on all of us in other ways. I don't know why you did it but would you care to explain why you did this?"
Celestia was terrified. She was terrified not only of Radiant Hope but every other pony present. She initially wanted to go off on them and deny the accusations but then thought otherwise. She knew she was guilty and realizing that she was in enemy territory, she finally decided to admit it.
"Look, I'm sorry ok? It is just a matter that I found all of you hot and given that you were all my proteges and there was nopony to stop me, I figured I could get away with it. I will admit it, I wanted a harem, I wanted to buck all of you and eventually impregnate all of you. I decreed you as my wives because as a princess, I could."
Twilight burned her in the face and yelled, "Sorry isn't going to cut it bitch. We all suffered psychologically because of you, we ran off because of you, we sought refuge here for safety."
Celestia screamed, "But how did you know to come here? How did you know to come here to hide?"
Radiant laughed, "Oh I knew about this place when you banished Sombra, I knew you were scared of this place and I'm pretty sure the rest of us did too and even if they didn't, they were attracted by that crystal that has given us our long life spans, life spans in which we will do more good than you ever did."
Radiant then opened the front part of the cage and encouraged, "Burn the bitch everypony, make her suffer!"
Celestia began to cry in agony as she was being struck by many many bolts of energy. After two minutes, Radiant ordered everypony to stop and closed the front of the cage. She stood in front of the cage and glared at Celestia, "And now we wait for somepony from your pathetic country to come rescue you. If nopony comes within seven days, we will kill you. If somepony comes before then, we will negotiate but our demands will be great."
Celestia broke down crying realizing that she could be one week away from being put to death at the hooves of ponies that she had wronged. She finally began to realize that everything she had done since right after Luna was banished to the moon was wrong. When she heard her crying, Radiant burned her with some energy, stepped to the side and yelled, "Shut up bitch! You brought this upon yourself!"
Celestia continued to cry as Radiant suggested, "Ok everypony, I want us all to line up in order of who came here first to who most recently came here. We need to speak to this bitch personally and let her know how we felt when she did everything to us" she paused before a minute before adding, "and burn her with a bolt of energy."
This terrified Celestia because she knew that not only was she going to have to face her past with each individual pony but suffer even more burns. She looked back towards the back of the line and had her fears that Sunset and Twilight would likely use the most energy on her and given Twilight's abilities, that she might use so much that she'd only stop short of killing her.
As the line of ponies began to address her individually, Celestia couldn't even remember a large number of them but knew that she had wronged them and likely deserved to be lectured and burned. When the final two ponies got to her, she froze. She remembered how Sunset was.
When Sunset got up to her she began, "You know what, I remember when I first entered into your school how much I looked up to you. You were everything I wanted to be, you were my role model and I knew that someday I would be you, I would become an Alicorn princess and rule alongside you. Yes I tried to force my way into that role much quicker than I should have but still, what you did is unforgivable.
When you took me out there, held me close and forced me to read those romance novels, I began to think you were trying to screw me out of what I believed should be mine but when you did what you did to me, I figured it wasn't worth it. I realized what a truly despicable and disgusting pony you were. I realized that I would never want to be like you, only the most horrible and degenerate ponies would want to be like you so when I got the chance, I bolted. Once I got here, I found happiness, I found a place where everypony accepted me and most of all, I realized that power is not everything. I realized that being part of the community is much more important than being in power."
Sunset then burned her with a bolt of energy and moved forward. Celestia was a bit surprised that Sunset's address to her wasn't nearly as bad as she thought it would be, it wasn't nearly as bad as Moonlight Tulip's. She then saw her most recent former protege approaching her and became filled with fear. She knew that she would likely be the angriest given how close they became.
When Twilight approached her she had a look of pure hatred in her eyes as she began, "You know what, when I saw you raise the sun that one day you immediately became my hero. I begged my parents to let me apply for your school and I was ecstatic when you took me in your protege. I was thrilled that I would get to work closely with who I thought was the most awesome pony on the face of the planet. You were everything and then some to me.
Now I'm going to admit, when you sent me off to Ponyville I was pissed at first. You knew that I loved studying and I had so much knowledge at my disposal up there and then you decided to send me to what I thought of at the time as a backwater dump. When I finally did befriend those who aided me in defeated Nightmare Moon, you began to want me to come back up to Canterlot for longer than I would have liked and all because I said I liked the larger meal. I didn't know what was running through your mind at first, even when you held me close that day when you wanted me to read that stupid book on love spells. Seriously though, who gives a hoot about love spells? I'll tell you who, NOPONY!"
Celestia said, "Let me explain."
Twilight screamed, "No and then after that I began to have nightmares for months, always scared you were going to swoop in and take me away from my friends, the first ponies I truly considered friends. Then you had the audacity to take me out to that old castle of yours and force me to read filthy romance novels with you, you had me reading pure filth with you. Then you show your true colors when you kissed me and declared me your wife before sexually assaulting me and then marking me as your damn property. Only the absolute most disgusting ponies pull things like that and I never once imagined you would do that to me until you took me out to your old castle and then treated me like I was some trashy whore off the street."
Celestia commented, "Twilight...."
Twilight broke down into tears, "You know what? When you did that to me I had never felt more pathetic in my whole life. I felt like you saw me as nothing more than a piece of meat that you could have your way with solely because you were the princess and I was your protege. You know what bitch, you are nothing to me. No, let me rephrase that, you are less than nothing and let me say this, if nopony comes to save your flank in seven days, I will gladly be the one to carry out your execution. You are nothing short of pure filth, a cancer on this land and if you are saved, hopefully your sister will give you the worst punishment possible."
Twilight's eyes began to shine white as she unleashed an incredibly powerful bolt of energy on Celestia. Celestia was crying in agony as Twilight continued to burn her. Twilight continued to burn her until Radiant came over and swatted her horn. She said, "Twilight, I know you are angry but we can't kill her yet, I want to use her as a bargaining chip." She gave her a smile and added, "But if nopony comes to save her within seven days, I'll let you be the executioner."
Twilight exclaimed, "Sweet!" She then turned back to Celestia to say one final thing, "Well tyrant, if nopony comes to save you I get to kill you."
The two then left and throughout the rest of the day, Celestia continued to have insults thrown her way and everypony who passed by her gave her hateful glares. Celestia was in a great amount of pain by this point. She had a broken horn, broken legs, a broken wing and numerous burn marks on her body with the one Twilight inflicted on her being the most painful. She began to sob, "Please somepony save me, I don't want to die, I don't want Twilight to kill me."
The evening had arrived and Luna woke up, ready to have supper and then raise the moon before heading off on her routine patrol of the Everfree Forest and the surrounding areas. When she left her chambers she saw that Yellow Eyes was still standing guard at her door. She asked, "Yellow Eyes, have you been here all day?"
Yellow Eyes replied, "Yes Your Majesty, I have been."
"Did my sister approach you over anything regarding me being in bed this morning?"
"Yes she did and it was kind of odd. Once I told her how ill you were, she seemed happy. She then took off and was saying something to herself but I couldn't make it out." He paused for a moment before continuing, "I don't know what is up but nopony should ever be happy over somepony else being ill, especially as ill as I told her you were."
This brought out a lot of suspicion in Luna. Celestia normally wasn't the type who would be happy over anypony's illness. She suggested, "Where is White Wings this time of day? I have a feeling he may know something."
Yellow Eyes replied, "With Celestia not being here I wouldn't know but I think checking the throne room would be worth a try."
Luna nodded and headed straight towards the throne room. She knew how Celestia had been lately and figured that if she would share anything with anypony, that it would be him. She headed towards the throne room and caught him gazing out of one of the windows. She tapped him and asked, "White Wings, have you seen my sister?"
This caused him to jump. He had heard about her illness and wasn't sure exactly what to make of the situation. He remained silent which caused Luna to become more irritated, "White Wings, where is my sister?"
White Wings wasn't sure about how he was going to answer this. He knew that this was a lose-lose situation. If he told Luna the truth, Celestia would be irate once she found out but if he refused to tell Luna, she would be irate. He finally decided to tell the pony standing before him, "Well I think she went out to look for Twilight. I know she is scared of that forest but I have this nagging feeling she went there."
Luna knew that if Celestia did go into that forest and was caught that she would likely face a very unpleasant fate. She knew that there were more than just three ponies in there that Celestia had wronged and figured that probably not a single one of them would have any problems harming her or perhaps killing her. She sighed, "Well thanks White Wings. After I have some supper, lower the sun and raise the moon, I'll have to go out and find her. I just hope this doesn't wind up being a recovery mission."
White Wings' eyes grew wide when she said this, "Princess Luna, do you really think the ponies there would kill her?"
Luna gave him an intense look and asked, "Can you promise me that you won't say a word of what I'm about to tell you to anypony?"
White Wings replied, "My lips are sealed."
Luna nodded and began, "Well as it turns out Celestia has sexually assaulted more than just Twilight and Sunset Shimmer. If what those two are telling me is true, she has been doing this with her proteges ever since I got banished to the moon."
White Wings grew pale when he heard this. He stood there in a state of shock before replying, "I, I never imagined she was like this. I know she wanted to take Twilight out to that castle but, but....."
Luna continued, "This is hard on me too, I never imagined my sister would do things like this. I remember back when we defeated Discord and even when she battled me, her sexually assaulting ponies was something I never imagined she would do." Luna sighed in frustration, "Well if I do bring her back alive and all of this is true, she will have to be punished, she will have to be locked away where she will never be a threat to anypony."
White Wings asked, "I'm assuming you're thinking of Tartarus?"
Luna sighed, "Either that or the sun. If this is true, I just don't want to see any more ponies suffer at her hooves." Her stomach growled and she added, "Well it is time for supper and then I have to lower the sun and raise the moon before I go out looking for her."
After eating supper and doing her duties, Luna headed off towards the forest. She knew that Celestia was terrified of that forest and had vowed to never go into it. She hoped that when she got to the border of it, she'd find Celestia standing there, pale and too scared to enter. When she finally reached the border of the forest, where the path led in, she did not see any sign of Celestia. She knew that she didn't have time to fly along the whole border of the forest unless she was to just lower the moon and raise the sun from out there.
After thinking it over for a minute she decided to take the path in and hope that if Celestia was captured, assuming she went in, that she was simply being held captive with no injuries. As she walked further into the forest, she was expecting to run into Moonlight, Twilight and Sunset before too long since they seemed to be patrolling the northern areas. When she approached the first lake, she sighed in frustration hoping that they would maybe be at the second lake.
When she approached the second lake she saw what she was looking for. She saw three unicorns on the other side and immediately they flared up their horns. She could tell that it was Twilight, Sunset and Moonlight. When it looked like they might strike, she lit up her horn three times, hoping that they would know she meant no harm. When it looked like they weren't going to attack, she continued to approach the lake until she heard a yell, "Halt. Who goes there?"
Luna yelled, "It is me, Princess Luna and I'm looking for my sister."
One of the unicorns motioned for her to come to their side of the lake and once she approached them, it was indeed Twilight, Sunset and Moonlight. She spoke first to Twilight, "Twilight, I am so glad I found you. My sister has gone missing and I am wondering if she came here?"
Luna received a glare from all three of the unicorns before her. Moonlight and Sunset sighed in frustration while Twilight was more confrontational, "Luna, what makes you think she would come here? You know that coward is scared of dark forests and even if I did know where she was, who is to say that you wouldn't take her back to Canterlot, coddle her and then allow her to molest yet another protege?"
It was at that moment that Luna knew the three knew where Celestia was and given Twilight's confrontational attitude, she thought she would ask Moonlight about her, "Have you seen my sister? She is white......"
Moonlight snapped, "Yes I know what that tyrant looks like." She then began to laugh, "Or should I say looked like!"
Sunset suggested, "How about you come with us and perhaps we can get this situation involving your sister taken care of."
The three glared at her and flared their horns up before leading Luna towards their village. Luna knew that with those three being a bit more confrontational than normal that she may not be received all that well in the village. Once they got into town, everypony went silent seeing another Alicorn being brought into town. They all watched her with suspicion as they were leading her towards the palace.
Once they got to the palace they were greeted by Shooting Star, "The tyrant's sister I take it."
Moonlight replied, "Yes. I am assuming she wants to speak to the queen regarding her sister."
Shooting Star nodded and headed inside. When she did that Luna asked, "So do I have to have permission to speak to her or what?"
Twilight replied, "This is the case with all visitors and with why you're here, you can't just go in without permission."
Luna sighed in frustration realizing that not only was the one pony she felt so close to in the past much more businesslike but that the monarch she was going to be dealing with would likely be rather hostile towards her.
A couple minutes later Shooting Star returned and addressed Luna, "Queen Radiant Hope will see you as long as they are present."
Shooting Star motioned for them to go in and when Luna saw who the queen was, she was in a state of shock. "Radiant Hope, you're still alive?"
Radiant replied, "That is either Queen Radiant Hope or your Majesty to you Luna and yes, I'm still alive. All of us who your sister wronged are still alive."
Luna asked, "But how? You're all just unicorns."
Radiant replied, "If you didn't notice it but out in the town square, there is a magical crystal that has given us the lifespans we have." She became more serious as she continued, "Now about why you came. I am assuming it has something to do with your sister, correct?"
Luna replied, "Yes, it involves my sister Cele....."
Radiant flared up her horn and yelled, "NEVER say that name here, never!" She then motioned for Luna and her captors to follow her, "If you want to see the tyrant, I shall lead you to her."
Radiant flared her horn up more as did the others to provide proper lighting to go down the stairwell to the dungeon. Once they got to the dungeon, Radiant led them all the way to the back cell where Celestia was laying there, badly injured and badly burned along with a broken horn. Luna became enraged when she saw this, "How could all of you do this? How could you do this to my sister?"
Twilight gave her a deep glare, "She was caught trespassing." Twilight then turned to the cell and screamed, "Wakey-wakey, your sister is here."
Celestia woke up and screamed before calming down when she saw Luna, "Luna, you came to save me!"
Luna asked, "Celestia, why did you come here when you knew they hated you? Why did you come here when it was so dangerous?"
Celestia held her head low and sighed, "I came to get Twilight...."
Twilight flared her horn up in anger and yelled, "No, you were going to try and force Sunset and I to go back with you so you could molest us some more."
Before Celestia could respond Radiant addressed Luna, "Princess Luna, I am not sure if your sister has told you about some of the things she has done since you were banished to the moon but I must say, it has not been good and she has wronged many."
Luna turned to her sister and asked, "Sister, what is all this about? What have you been doing all this time?"
Celestia saw her captors had their horns lit up and would strike if she didn't admit her wrongs, "Luna, it wasn't long after you were banished to the moon that I began to take my proteges out to our old castle and did to them what I did to Twilight."
Luna's eyes grew wide as she asked, "Celestia, what did you do to Twilight and what did you do to the others?"
Celestia began, "Well I would take them out there, I would try to force them to fall in love with me by making them read romance novels with me while I was holding them close. Just like it was with Twilight, none of the others ever showed any interest so finally when the fifth morning arrived, I cast love spells on them, I forced them to eat my juices, smeared them with it and declared them as my wives."
Luna then became so angry that she reverted to the ancient way of speaking, "Sister, dost thou not know how immoral and illegal that is? Dost thou not know the punishment for such crimes, horrible crimes against thy fellow ponies?"
Celestia began to cry, "I know but I couldn't help it. They were all so hot and I thought I could get away with it."
Luna sighed in frustration, "Celestia, even if I can get them to agree to free you, you will still have to face a severe punishment for the crimes you have committed against probably more than 200 ponies."
Radiant commented, "217 to be exact."
Celestia snapped, "Oh and what are you going to do, throw me in Tartarus, banish me to the sun, toss me into limbo?"
Luna snapped in return, "Well it will have to be something because you can't just go unpunished. Either you can stay here and likely face execution or come back to Equestria and face our punishment." She then turned to the queen and asked, "Your Majesty, I am wondering if you would free her and I could take her back to Canterlot with me?"
Radiant began to head back towards the stairwell and commented, "Perhaps but it is extremely late and I will be able to think better with some sleep." She turned to Moonlight and asked, "Do you think she could stay with you until morning?"
Moonlight replied, "Yes, she can."
She along with Twilight and Sunset grabbed Luna in their aura and began to drag her out with them. As they were leaving Sunset commented, "Don't even think about leaving or a not so pleasant fate will come to your sister."
Luna snapped, 'Oh and what would that be?"
Twilight laughed, "Death by the Sparkle! So if you value that bitch's life, you will not try to leave nor will you show us any disrespect."
Moonlight added, "Just because the queen is contemplating letting you take her home doesn't mean she will." Once they got to Moonlight's house she pointed to the couch and said, "Luna, you can sleep out here."
Twilight sat in the recliner, flared up her horn and added, "And I'm keeping watch to make sure she doesn't cause any problems."
Moonlight gave her a smile as she and Sunset headed to their bedrooms. Luna looked at Twilight and began to cry, "Twilight, why are you being like this? Why is it that since you've been down here you have become so cruel?"
Twilight snapped, "I have not become cruel. It is simply a matter of me not liking the idea of that bitch sister of yours, the pony who sexually assaulted me and over two hundred others being allowed to still draw breath." She saw tears begin to run down Luna's face and added, "Now get some sleep because Faust knows you'll need to be at your most alert tomorrow."
As Luna closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep, she felt like everything had gone straight to Tartarus. She knew her sister was in love with Twilight but never imagined that she would not just sexually assault her, but over 200 others over the centuries. One part of her wanted to just leave Celestia to face their wrath but the part of her that put family first wanted to take her home and give her a standard villain's punishment in Equestria, one that involved banishment rather than death.

A large portion of this chapter will be back and forth dialogue.
Negotiations
Six hours had passed and Sunset and Moonlight woke up and headed out to the living room. There they found Twilight and Luna sleeping. Moonlight shook Twilight's shoulder and said, "Twilight, we probably need to get her awake and over to the palace. I know the queen is going to want to get started on these negotiations, get the tyrant out of here and ultimately form our own nation."
Twilight nodded, flashed her horn bright and yelled, "Luna, get up. If you want your sister back, we need to get going."
Luna shot up, "What-what?"
Sunset stated, "You heard her, if you want your sister back, we need to get going."
Luna asked, "What about breakfast? Aren't you three hungry?"
Twilight replied, "I am certain the queen will have a meal waiting for us. When she has visitors that stay the night, she provides breakfast for them, and for those of us who help her in handling them." She grabbed Luna in her aura and added, "Come on, up-up, we don't have all day."
Luna got up and was frustrated by the behavior of the three, Twilight in particular because she was behaving nothing like how she did when she was Celestia's protege. Life in the forest among all the other unicorns Celestia had wronged had changed her, changed her in a way that does not represent the values of Equestria, but the values of what will ultimately become the nation that Radiant Hope will ultimately establish.
Once they arrived at the palace they were greeted by Shooting Star who greeted them with a smile, "The queen and the princess are waiting for your arrival."
Sunset replied, "Well hopefully we can get this taken care of, get her out of here and receive what the queen wants."
Shooting Star opened the door for them and they headed in. In the throne room waiting for them was not just Queen Radiant Hope but also a lilac colored unicorn with a dark purple mane and tail with a gray stripe in it. She also had a four pointed star for a cutie mark, Princess Glimmering Starlight. When the queen saw them she said, "Ladies, Luna, shall we have some breakfast prior to getting down to business."
Moonlight replied, "We shall."
The two royals led them into the dining hall. Once they got sat down the chef came in to take their orders. Radiant ordered, "I would like eggs, hay bacon, oats and apple juice." The chef nodded and the others ordered the same. While what the queen had ordered didn't really appeal to Luna that much, she figured that it would be best if they ordered the same thing.
She turned to the princess and asked, "I did not see you yesterday, what is your name."
The princess replied, "I am Princess Glimmering Starlight, I was your sister's first protege, the first pony she sexually assaulted out at that castle."
Luna apologized, "I'm sorry she did that to you. Had I not been banished to the moon at the time I would have stopped....."
Twilight would be quick to interrupt, "Well you sure didn't stop her from doing that to me and you were back from the moon at that point so don't go feeding us those lies."
Radiant then wanted to get down to business while they were waiting for their meal. She began, "Luna, you do realize that the crimes your sister has committed are very severe and that she must be punished."
Luna replied, "I do understand that and if I am able to take her home, I will see to it that she is punished for her crimes."
"Luna, we will however not just release her and hope that you will punish her. Before we release her, we do have demands that must be met, demands that you may not like."
"Oh, and what are those?"
Radiant began, "Well for starters, we want all the territory that this forest encompasses along with everything spanning a ten mile radius outside of it as well. We feel that gaining possession of that real estate for our own nation will be somewhat sufficient."
Luna gasped, "Seriously, you are wanting all that territory and from the way you make it sound, you make it sound like that isn't all."
Radiant continued, "That isn't the only thing we want. For her release, we also believe that we should be the ones to decide your sister's punishment upon taking her back to Canterlot, a punishment which some of us will travel with you to ensure it is done."
Luna gasped, "What, you wish to determine her punishment?"
Radiant turned to Twilight causing her to state, "Some methods work better than others. Lunar banishment is a no-go because the stars freed you, solar banishment is a no-go because a solar eclipse could free her and we know you'd make that happen at some point. Banishment to Tartarus has its risks because if Cerberus was to leave his post, she could escape. Turning her into stone would also have its risks, the spell may not hold and she could break free."
Luna asked, "What about putting her in the dungeon? Her horn is broken and she could not escape."
Twilight countered, "Who is to say some goody-good guard or even you decided to release her. What we want is for her to be locked up where she will never harm another pony ever again."
Luna sighed, "The only option then would be for me to use the Elements of Harmony to tear open a hole in the fabric of space and time and toss her in, and then sew it shut."
Glimmering Starlight asked, "If you did that, wouldn't you be able to free her the same way?"
Luna replied, "Yes, I could if....."
Radiant interrupted, "Then we would need to bring those Elements back with us so that you could not betray every mare here by releasing the pony who sexually assaulted every single one of us here, save myself."
Luna flared her horn up in anger, "No! I will not sacrifice the Elements of Harmony! Without them Equestria could be doomed....as could your nation once you get it created."
Glimmering gave her a deep glare, "Could we trust you enough to keep those Elements? Could we trust you to not free her solely because she is your sister or you have demands from your citizens requesting it?"
Luna sighed, "You can trust me....but what about my sister's horn?"
Radiant snapped, "The horn stays with us. We can not risk you deciding to not only free her but find a way to restore her horn, thus restoring her magic."
Luna yelled, "We have no magic to restore horns and what would you want it for anyway?" She calmed down a bit and added, "I am sorry but I want her horn back."
The five looked at one another and Moonlight stated, "Well then, I suppose your sister's fate is sealed." She turned to Twilight who developed a sadistic grin on her face.
When Luna saw this she yelled, "Fine then, you can keep the horn."
Radiant continued, "And if you know how, we do want a spell that will cause the forest to grow out to where our border would be. We are forest ponies and we do not want unforested land in our territory nor do we want to have to wait decades for any trees we would plant to grow sufficiently to provide our territory with the protection we desire."
Luna sighed, "Well I will have to do some studying" she then turned to Twilight before continuing, "or during your time up in Canterlot you can do some studying. I know you could easily learn spells to cause trees to grow in nothing flat."
Twilight wasn't exactly thrilled with having to spend any more time outside of her new home than was absolutely necessary. She said, "Well hopefully this won't take too long. I don't want to have to be in that place any longer than I have to be."
Luna threw her hooves up in the air and yelled, "Fine! I'll study it so you can come back and hide out here as soon as possible." She then glared at them before asking, "Anything else?"
The five then looked at one another and all nodded. Radiant then said, "Nope. If you are willing to meet our demands, we shall release her, in Canterlot, where she will be immediately punished."
Luna felt as though Equestria was getting the raw end of the deal, having to sacrifice so much solely for the return of her sister, a pony who she would have to banish into limbo immediately upon her return. She did know though that it was either that or Twilight would kill her on the seventh day. She sighed, "Very well, you demands shall be met."
Radiant exclaimed, "Excellent!" She then turned to Glimmering and ordered, "Could you get our prisoner put in a cage and then bring her up here? I am certain our guest wants to get home at a decent time and I want to be able to create the nation of Unicornia as soon as possible."
The princess headed down to get Celestia put in a cage so that they could begin the long transport of her back to Canterlot. She wasn't sure exactly how the citizens of Canterlot would react to this but she was pretty sure that Radiant Hope and the rest of her delegation would likely make Celestia admitting her wrongs to the city another part of their demands for freeing her sister.
One hour had passed and Glimmering Starlight came into the dining hall and notified the others, "Your Majesty, our captive is in a cage and is waiting outside the palace."
Radiant replied, "Alright, let's get going. It is a very long trip to Canterlot." She then turned to Luna and added, "And since she is your sister, you can pull her cage."
Luna let out a sigh of frustration despite knowing that would likely be the case. She asked, "So who all is going to be going with me?" She turned to Radiant and added, "I'm assuming you will be joining me?"
Radiant replied, "Yes I will as will those who captured her." She turned to Glimmering and suggested, "And since you are the only other royal pony, you need to stay behind in the event something was to happen to me."
Glimmering replied, "Yes your Majesty."
Radiant then headed towards the exit and commented, "Come on, let's get going."
Radiant, those who captured Celestia along with Luna headed towards the exit. Once they got outside, they attached Luna to the cage so she could pull it. As they headed north, those who had been in the forest for a while, Radiant in particular, dreaded leaving the forest because they hadn't been exposed to direct sunlight in years. In the case of Radiant, it had been over a thousand years since she had last saw the sun.
Once they saw the edge of the forest something didn't seem right. Given the time, it should be light but it was still dark. Radiant saw this and said, "Huh, I thought it would be light by now." She got a smile on her face and added, "Oh well, it will make things easier on us!"
This caused Luna to realize that she had never got the opportunity to lower the moon and raise the sun. She gasped, "The sun, I ddn't get a chance to raise it. I'll have to do that as soon as we get out of the forest so Equestria won't freeze."
This caused Celestia to comment, "Yes and thanks to you four, everypony is probably wondering why it is still dark."
Twilight flared up her horn and yelled, "Shut up bitch, your sister will get it raised soon enough."
Once they got out of the forest flew up and flared up her horn, casting the necessary spells to lower the moon and raise the sun. As the eastern horizon began to light up, Radiant and the others quickly shielded their eyes as they knew that this would be the first direct sunlight then had been exposed to in years....and in the case of Radiant, in over a thousand years.
Once the sun was up Celestia exclaimed, "The sun, I was so afraid for a while that I'd never see it again."
Luna replied, "Well enjoy it because of the punishment you have to receive, you won't see it for much longer."
Something just crossed Twilight's mind, the amount of time it would take for them to get to Canterlot. She asked, "Luna, what is the quickest route to get to Canterlot?"
Sunset added, "The quickest route without anypony knowing that we have her captive?"
Luna sighed, "For us to be able to do that, we will have to walk to where there are tracks and then I would have to return to Canterlot, charter a private train and then pick all of you...."
Radiant ordered, "I hadn't even heard of Canterlot until Glimmering Starlight escaped your sister's tyranny but do it. Once we find some tracks, go get it and we will wait for you."
Luna wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea but agreed, "Very well, once we find some tracks I will do that but you better not run off with my sister or this whole deal is off."
Radiant replied, "Deal."
They walked for several more hours before they found the tracks a good distance to the east of Dodge Junction. As soon as they found them Luna took off towards Canterlot. Moonlight cast her gaze at Celestia and sternly said, "You better be glad your sister came for you because had she not, you'd wind up dead and buried in a shallow grave."
Twilight laughed, "After you had a taste of the Sparkle of pain!"
Celestia began to cry hearing the words of her former proteges. It hurt her bad enough that they had severely injured her but knowing that who was her closest and most beloved protege truly hated her made the wait all the worse. She could understand why the others hated her but with Twilight, she still didn't get it. She still believed that Twilight would have loved the things she did to her out at her old castle.
Eight hours later a train finally pulled up, it was the royal train that the sisters would use for long distance trips, trips where going by chariot wasn't feasible. Once it ground to a stop, Radiant and Moonlight handled the cage Celestia was in while Twilight and Sunset were waiting to get in the same car. Sunset looked around and asked, "Hey, where is Luna? Shouldn't she be here?"
Luna stepped out of the engine car and said, "Well everypony, nopony knows why I chartered this so we can get her to Canterlot." She paused before adding, "But we may want to wait until after dark to removing her from the car."
Twilight was shocked when she saw this. She asked, "Luna, you're an engineer? I didn't know that!"
Luna replied, "Yes Twilight Sparkle, there are many things that I can do that nopony else knows about."
Sunset then made a suggestion, "Luna, instead of having to wait until after dark to remove her from the train isn't there a separate bay we could unload her from so we're not having to wait for hours to get off?"
Luna replied, "Sunset Shimmer, there is but by the time we get there it should be dark already."
It didn't take Radiant and Moonlight long to get Celestia onto the train and then the others boarded as well. Luna then got the train going on its way to Canterlot. As they were headed towards Canterlot, she never once imagined that she would have to be transporting her sister home only to have to banish her. Luna remembered her banishment to the moon all too well but it still hurt her that she would have to banish an injured Celestia to limbo.
During their trip to Canterlot, Luna had to stop to lower the sun and raise the moon. It was a bit after midnight when the train pulled into the station. There was nopony out and about at all so getting Celestia unloaded and to the palace unnoticed was not a problem. Once they got into the throne room Celestia began to cry, "Oh sister, I never thought I'd get to see this place again. I thought for sure they'd kill me."
Radiant burned her with some energy and snapped, "Well enjoy it while you can because later today you're getting banished and every mare you have ever wronged shall be vindicated."
Celestia gave her a sad look and begged, "Can't there be a different punishment?" She turned to Luna and added, "Couldn't you just throw me in Tartarus or maybe even the dungeon?"
Luna sighed, "Celestia, part of the deal of them releasing you was that they chose your punishment. It was either an eternity in limbo or Twilight Sparkle would burn you alive with her magic."
She turned to Twilight and saw a hateful look on her face, one that mirrored the looks on the faces of those who came with her. Celestia knew that there was to be no reasoning with her captors or her sister at this point. One thing did cross her mind, "Sister, will I be allowed to have one final meal before my punishment?"
Luna looked at Celestia's captors and Radiant replied, "We may as well because I'm sure by the time sunrise gets here that we will all be hungry." She cast a glare at Celestia and added, "But you will remain in that cage, I do not want you at the table with us. You don't deserve any kind of conversation with us, well not a pleasant one that most meals include anyway."
Luna asked, "Even though this is our palace, what do you four want done before her punishment takes place? Do you want her down in the dungeon or do you want her to stay up here?"
Radiant sighed, "Just leave her up here. It must be approaching one and it wouldn't be worth it to haul her down there only to have to bring her back up here a few hours later."
Luna knew this was a lose-lose situation. She knew that either way her sister would be in despair but believed that Celestia seeing those she had wronged for longer would be harder on her. She also knew though that the four ponies who will soon be of a different nationality were pretty much in charge here. She knew that if she angered them in the slightest, that a not so pleasant fate could still be awaiting her sister.
Six hours had passed and it was time for Princess Luna to lower the moon and raise the sun, a lowering and raising that was filled with a great amount of sadness. She knew that this would be the last time she did this with her sister still with her. She knew by the end of the day that Celestia would be gone and she would be ruling Equestria all by herself.
While she was out handling the celestial bodies, Radiant Hope figured she would go and talk to Celestia alone since she was the only one who hadn't communicated with her that much. When she approached the cage she had a smile on her face, "You ready for your big day princess? You ready for your punishment?"
Celestia gave her a glare and grunted, "Whatever, I'm sure that despite me never wronging you, you're just loving this."
Radiant returned the glare, "I'm going to tell you something, something that I've been waiting over a thousand years to tell you." Her voice became more sad as she continued, "As you know, I was not happy when you banished my only friend into the ice of the arctic north." She saw Celestia's glare deepen as she continued, "You banished my only friend to the ice and you know what, I was working on him. I was talking to him and had you simply allowed me a few more hours, he would have freed those crystal ponies and left the Empire forever. He was going to do that for me but then you and your sister had to come along and ruin everything. You made him mad, made him change his mind and took my only friend away from me. That is why I hate you so much."
Celestia replied, "Look, what he was doing was wrong and...."
Radiant continued, "And I knew about that forest in the south, I knew how dark and foreboding it was and I remember you talking one time about how dark places scared you. That is why I chose that place to run off to and apparently all your proteges knew too because they fled down there, chose to reside with me and thanks to that crystal, we were granted life spans longer than any regular pony, far longer."
Celestia said, "Well....."
Radiant cut her off, "And I just don't get how you could be so obsessed with sex that you would do what you did to 217 proteges, every single one of them! There were 216 that you got away with sexually assaulting but it was # 217 that led to your downfall. Your doing that to Twilight Sparkle was the biggest mistake you ever made because she is the strongest willed mare I have ever met. Yes she was horribly distraught when she first came to me but it was a mix of her hate for you along with your sister finding out about your crimes that led to this." She then began to laugh, "Had you simply stopped this prior to your sister's return from the moon, nopony would have ever found out about this." Her laugh got louder, "It is kind of odd really, you banished her for a thousand years but now you're going to limbo for all eternity! Karma's a bitch isn't it?"
The words that Radiant said to her tore at the very fabric of Celestia's heart. She knew that Radiant was right, she knew that it was her doing to Twilight what she did with Luna present that led to this moment. She realized that she shouldn't have thought she could get away with it and given that Luna was close with Twilight, she realized that what she did was all the dumber.
She began to sob quietly and rather than glorifying it with a response, Radiant headed back towards those who captured Celestia. They heard what she had said to Celestia and Twilight commented, "You're right, it was her doing that to me that led to her downfall." She sighed in frustration, "It just sucks that she did that to so many before me."
Sunset replied, "I know, she truly is the most amoral pony to have ever existed if you ask me."
Moonlight added, "If only Glimmering Starlight could have done something to her so long ago, there wouldn't be so many of us who suffered so much trauma at her hooves."
Radiant finished, "I know but soon we will have our own nation and be vindicated. She will be trapped in limbo and fall into psychological despair, knowing that she will never see the light of day again."
Not long after their brief discussion Luna returned. She said, "Well with my duties out of the way, shall we have our breakfast?"
The four nodded in unison and they had the traditional Canterlot breakfast, four eggs, five slices of hay bacon, pancakes and a large amount of cider. They were able to eat it just fine but there was one who could not, Celestia. With her legs broke and her horn broke off, she couldn't eat. She yelled, "Luna, how am I supposed to eat? My horn is broke and my legs are broke."
Luna went over to the cage she was in and began to feed Celestia like one would a foal. Twilight and her friends couldn't help but snicker over the scene. Sunset snickered, "My oh my, the high and mighty Celestia is having to be fed like a foal!"
Twilight added, "Oh how miss high and mighty has fallen. She goes from raising and lowering the sun to having to be fed like a newborn."
Moonlight and Radiant were snickering over what was happening as well. They could hear Luna sighing in frustration and weren't sure if it was because of their reaction to it or her having to feed her sister. Once Celestia was done being fed, Luna returned to the table and sighed in frustration. She glared at the four and grunted, "I know you four find this funny but still, she is my sister and to make matters worse, she won't heal in limbo, she'll be in pain for all eternity."
Moonlight snapped, "Well she deserves it after everything she has done to us, to over 200 of us."
Twilight added, "Sex crimes are the worst Luna, the absolute worst and the punishments for them need to be the worst."
Luna snapped, "Murder is worse than......"
Sunset interrupted, "At least with murder the victim is dead. Victims of sex crimes continue to suffer the psychological trauma of what was done to them."
Radiant finished, "You're only saying that because she is your sister."
It was a few minutes after eight when White Wings, Celestia's top royal guard arrived in the throne room and saw the horrid state Celestia was in. It did bother him a lot but what bothered him more was whether or not the accusations against her was true. He approached the cage and asked, "Princess Celestia, are the accusations true? Have you really been sexually assaulting your proteges for over a thousand years?"
Celestia knew that White Wings had always looked up to her and respected her so this was so hard for her to answer. She held her head low and sighed, "It is true White Wings, I'm guilty."
White Wings did believe Luna when she told him about it but to hear it from Celestia herself made it all the harder for him to take the news lightly. He became very sad, "Your Majesty, I never once imagined that you would do this to your proteges. I always wondered what you did with your proteges when you took them out to your old castle for a week and then they never returned but I never knew you did that to them." He then developed a scowl on his face and added, "As far as I am concerned now, you are nothing more than a cancer upon this world, a cancer that must be removed."
He then turned towards Luna and asked, "So when do you plan on punishing her for what she did?"
Luna replied, "As soon as possible. Go out and notify as much of the city as you can. Whether they're all there or not, the banishment ceremony shall take place at noon."
White Wings said, "Yes your Majesty."
White Wings left the dining hall to go out and notify as much of the city as he could. As he was doing this he thought about how this was the last thing that he though he would ever have to do. For so long he thought of Celestia as an honorable pony who always had Equestria's best interests in mind but no longer, he now knew that she was a tyrant that needed to be locked away for all eternity.
When it was thirty minutes before noon White Wings returned to the dining hall and said, "Your Majesty, a good portion of the city is gathered outside."
Radiant replied, "Good." She turned to Luna and said, "You need to go and get those Elements of Harmony so you can banish her because if you don't, she's going back with us and you know what will happen next."
Luna screamed, "I know, Twilight will kill her."
Luna headed to Canterlot Tower to retrieve the Elements while Radiant and the rest of her delegation stood there glaring at Celestia, wanting to make her as uncomfortable as possible. Before Luna returned, she screamed, "Stop it, stop it, stop it! Stop glaring at me!"
Once Luna returned with the Elements, Radiant got a huge smile on her face. She exclaimed, "Oh good, you're back! Now we can get this taken care of and celebrate!"
Luna snapped, "This is nothing to celebrate. I'm losing my sister and you're gaining territory, this is a dark day for Equestria."
Radiant pointed her hoof towards the exit and ordered, "Let's do this Luna." Luna seemed hesitant causing Radiant to add, "Remember, we had a deal."
Once they had all got out on the balcony, the whole crowd gasped in shock when they saw Celestia in the state she was, locked up in a cage. Luna pulled Celestia up to the edge of the balcony where Radiant ordered, "Address them, tell them of your crimes."
Celestia faced the crowd and began, "Hi everypony, I'm sure you are wondering why I am addressing you today and why I am in this cage. Well you see, it wasn't long after Luna was banished to the moon that I opened up my school for gifted unicorns and would have proteges, proteges in the unicorns that I felt were the most promising to one day rule alongside me. Well it was with my very first one and every one after that that I would take out to my old castle and force myself on them, I would cast love spells on them, make them drink my juices and mark them with my juices, mark them as mine."
The crowd gasped in shock before beginning to boo her and call her a tyrant. The crowd would soon begin to call for her head and she began to sob loudly. Radiant smacked her and ordered, "Tell them the rest, they must know."
Celestia continued, "You see, it is just a matter of that I found them hot, I wanted to ultimately form a harem and impregnate them. I thought that if I could force them to love me, I could accomplish that objective."
Again the crowd began to boo and call for her head before she was wheeled back and Radiant Hope approached the balcony. The crowd went quiet as she began, "First let me introduce myself, my name is Queen Radiant Hope and I rule the southern forest here in Equestria, which will soon become the nation of Unicornia upon her banishment as was part of an agreement with Princess Luna for the terms of the release of her sister after she was caught in our territory in an attempt to capture one of our citizens and bring her back here so that she could take her out to her old castle and molest her some more and once again try to force her to love her."
The whole city suddenly went so silent that one could hear a pin drop. She stopped for a moment before continuing, "Regarding the injuries, her horn was broken off when three of our scouts captured her and in a struggle, she was slammed face first into a tree. The broke legs were a result of our scouts simply doing what they are trained to do when a hostile invader is captured. The broken wing is from her escape attempt in my palace and the burn marks came from unicorns that she had assaulted getting revenge." She heard a few angry yells from the crowd before adding, "Listen, what you must understand is that she came for us, she wanted to hunt down one of those who escaped from her and bring her back here to make her suffer more."
Radiant stepped back and motioned for Twilight to head to the balcony. Twilight began, "Hi everypony, my name is Twilight Sparkle...."
A male voice in the crowd yelled, "Your mom and I love you sweet pea!"
Twilight smiled, "Hi dad!" She paused before continuing, "Anyway, like I said, I am Twilight Sparkle and I am the most recent of the tyrant's victims." While she didn't feel like having to go over this again and again, she felt like if she went into full detail, she could get the city to understand why Celestia had to be punished.
"Regarding her, the reason that she must be punished is because she did to me what she did to over two hundred others over the past thousand years. What she did was she hauled me out to her old castle, held me close and forced me to read smutty novels with her for four days. On the fifth day, she forced herself on me, *becomes angry* forced me into a kiss and then declared me as her wife. She then forced me to drink her vaginal juices and then rubbed herself all over me, marking me as her territory! You have no idea how pathetic that made me feel. It made me feel like a trashy whore, it made me feel like nothing more than a piece of meat. Is that the kind of pony you want running the country?"
Twilight stepped back and Sunset and Moonlight approached the balcony. Sunset added, "My name is Sunset Shimmer and she did the same thing to me."
Moonlight finished, "My name is Moonlight Tulip and she hauled me out to that shithole castle and did the same thing to me. *screams loudly* If you ask me, she must be locked away where she will never harm anypony again. Who is with me?"
The whole city began to cheer after hearing Moonlight's question. They then began to chant, "Lock her up, lock her up, lock her up!"
Luna then approached the balcony and began, "Citizens of Equestria, what my sister has done has brought a great amount of shame and disgrace upon not just the royal family, but all of Equestria. The crimes she has committed are among the most despicable that anypony can commit and because of that, I have only one option. I have decided that she must be banished into limbo for all eternity to protect other mares in the magic school here."
Luna then took the Elements of Harmony and used their power coupled with her own magic to tear a hole in the fabric of space and time. Twilight then removed her from the cage and held her up near the tear. She screamed, "You know what you tyrant, this is what you deserve but I have one final gift for you!"
She then fired a powerful bolt of energy at Celestia, striking her and she began to scream in agony. Sunset and Moonlight then did the same thing before Radiant also got in on the action. The four would stop once they heard Celestia's cries becoming quieter. When they stopped, Celestia had been burned black for the most part.
Twilight was still holding Celestia there, who had now had her mane and tail burned off. She decided to give Celestia one final address, "You know what, at one time you were loved by all. At one time everypony loved you and respected you but now, everypony hates your bucking guts, everypony! Whenever your name is mentioned from now on, all anypony will think of is a pathetic teacher who sexually assaulted her proteges. Well good riddance bitch, good riddance!"
Twilight then threw Celestia into limbo before Luna sewed the tear shut. Some ponies stood there in a state of shock while others were cheering. The ones that were cheering the loudest though were Twilight's parents. Radiant looked down to the crowd and asked, "Twilight, who are those two unicorns who are cheering so loud?"
Twilight gave her a smile, "Those are my parents! Oh what I wouldn't give to see them!"
Radiant suggested, "Well you should go down and see them. We're not going anywhere any time soon!"
Twilight suggested, "Hey, how about you, Moonlight and Sunset join me! I'm sure they'd love to meet you."
Radiant replied, "I'd love to meet them, I'd love to meet the two ponies who raised such a strong willed mare, the one that was responsible for that tyrant getting punished."
Moonlight added, "I'd like to meet them as well."
Sunset finished, "I would too."
Luna overheard this and said, "Well while you four are meeting with her parents, I will wait for you at the train station so that I can take you back to an area close to Unicornia."
Twilight asked, "Are you going to study that forestation spell for us because I have a feeling you have to cast it from above?"
Luna sighed, "Yes Twilight, I will study that for you."
The four thanked her and headed down towards the courtyard. It had been years since Twilight had seen her parents and she could hardly wait to spend some time with them and introduce her to those that she considers sisters.
Five minutes after Celestia had been banished into limbo, Twilight and her "sisters" arrived down in the courtyard where they would be greeted by an ecstatic set of parents. Velvet embraced her daughter, "Where have you been Twilight? We've missed you so much!"
Night Light too embraced her, "It is so good to see you sweet pea!"
After they were done embracing Twilight began, "Mom, dad, now that you know what happened involving her , I can tell you why I just up and left." The two nodded and Twilight continued, "You see, I knew about this dense forest in the far south regions of Equestria and since the tyrant was afraid of dark forests, I took off there to hide so she couldn't capture me and molest me again." She then motioned for the others to join her and said, "And these three are ponies I have grown close to."
Radiant first extended her hoof out, shook their hooves and said, "My name is Radiant Hope, I was Celestia's very first protege and since everything is over and done with, I am the queen of the new nation of Unicornia."
Sunset then greeted them, "Hi, I'm Sunset Shimmer. The tyrant did to me exactly what she did to Twilight. I too knew about the forest and her fears. That is why I ran off down there, for safety."
Moonlight then did the same, "Hi, my name is Moonlight Tulip and I was a protege of hers and she did the same thing to me that she did to everypony else except the queen."
Night Light then introduced himself, "My name is Night Light, Twilight's father."
Velvet then did the same, "My name is Twilight Velvet, Twilight's mother." Velvet then turned to Twilight and added, "You know sweetie, had we known Celestia......"
Twilight interrupted, "Could you please not say that tyrant's name around us. Just because she is gone doesn't mean hearing it won't bring back bad memories."
Velvet nodded, "I understand sweetie." She then turned to the others and apologized, "I'm sorry I said that name around you, I didn't know it bothered you."
Radiant replied, "There is no need to apologize." She turned to Sunset and Moonlight and added, "Right ladies?"
In unison the two commented, "Right."
Velvet then became curious about something, "Twilight, with her being banished into limbo for all eternity, will you be moving back to Equestria or will you be returning to what is now Unicornia?"
Without hesitation Twilight replied, "Mom, dad, you know I love you but my home is in Unicornia. I relate with everypony so well down there and after spending five years there, Equestria just isn't for me anymore." She saw sad looks on their faces and added, "I'm sorry but I just don't want to return. Yes the threat is gone now but I feel safe down there and I have grown to like the dim light down there."
Moonlight added, "Twilight has become like the rest of us, she feels safe there and relates with everypony."
Radiant saw the looks on their faces and sighed, "Well while we normally aren't fond of visitors but with the tyrant being gone, we'd gladly welcome you to come down and visit her" she paused for a moment before adding, "hell, since you're unicorns I'd be perfectly ok with you moving down there to be with her."
Twilight's eyes grew wide as she asked, "Really, they could move there even though they were never wronged by the tyrant?"
Radiant nodded while Night Light and Twilight Velvet were whispering among one another. Twilight wasn't sure what they were saying but had her concerns that it might not be what she would want to her. They then turned to Radiant and asked, "We really love it here but what would we need to do to come visit. Could we just come there or do we have to ask permission."
Radiant gave the two a smile, "I figured that would be the case but getting there won't be easy. The easiest option would be to take the train to Dodge Junction, then walk out east to the gullies and then turn south. That will lead you to the forest. You'll just head on in and chances are you'll be greeted" she pointed to Twilight and her friends "by these three and then they'll lead you on into our community."
The two looked at one another and sighed in frustration. The very thoughts of having to do that much walking did not sound all that appealing to them. They turned to Twilight and asked, "The thoughts of having to do that much walking doesn't sound real appealing to us." They saw Twilight begin to look sad and added, "We're not like you Twilight. We can't handle miles and miles of walking but would you ever be up for coming up here to visit?"
That was one thing that Twilight was really hoping that they wouldn't ask as she really didn't like the idea of leaving what was now Unicornia, especially for an extended period of time. She knew that there had to be some sort of compromise. It then hit her, Dodge Junction wasn't a horribly long distance from the edge of Unicornia. She suggested, "Hey, how about every Hearth's Warming Eve you could travel to Dodge Junction and I could head there, although I'd likely come with a friend." She saw her parents' faces drop as she added, "It isn't that far away and it isn't cold and snowy."
Her parents looked at one another and then back at Twilight. They knew that despite Twilight being happy to see them that this was likely the best they would get. Night Light sighed, "Well sweet pea, if that is what you want, we can do that. We can get there by train and I know you've never really been fond of the cold so we can do that."
Twilight embraced both of them and exclaimed, "That is wonderful." She then turned to Radiant and suggested, "Think we should get going? I'm not sure how much longer the power of the crystal will protect us, especially you."
While they still had a few more days worth of protection in them, she could tell that Twilight was wanting to get out of Canterlot. She replied, "Yeah, we probably should. With as old as I am, being away from it for too long would be a death sentence."
After one final embrace, they parted ways. After they were out of earshot, Twilight sighed, "I know my parents love me and I love them but if I never set hoof in Canterlot again, it will be an eternity too soon."
Moonlight was in the same mindset, "I hear you Twilight, if I never see this place again I'll be perfectly happy. I didn't exactly like it back in the day and I don't like it now."
Sunset however was quiet while they were talking about it. She was twitching her tail back and forth nervously and Radiant saw this. She asked, "Sunset, are you ok? Something seems wrong."
Sunset remained quiet for a moment before finally opening up, "You know, I like it down in the forest but I'm going to admit, coming back to Canterlot does bring back some good memories and I do miss the city life in general."
The eyes of the other three grew wide as Radiant asked, "Sunset, are you saying what I think you are?"
Sunset sighed, "Yes, I am. I'm thinking of talking to Luna about going back to the magic school since she is probably running it now and seeing if she would take me in as her protege." She saw frowns of disapproval coming from Twilight and Moonlight and continued, "I'm sorry, it is just that coming back here makes me realize how much I miss it here."
The two sighed in frustration while Radiant seemed more understanding, "Well if that is your choice, just know that I wish nothing but the best for you. I know Luna will be waiting for us at the station and you can talk to her there."
Sunset gave her a smile and replied, "Just know that I will wish you the best too and may Unicornia prosper."
Very soon they were approaching the station. Sunset was admittedly nervous that Luna may not let her back into the school, assuming she was running it. She also had her concerns that Luna may not take her in as her protege given her past but regardless of what her fate was going to be, she made a decision that she was not going to return to Unicornia, she missed the city life too much.
Twilight and her friends had just got done talking to her parents and she had absolutely no problems telling them that she would not move back to Canterlot or even go there to visit them. While she was less than thrilled, she ultimately made an agreement that she would visit them for Hearth's Warming every year in Dodge Junction since it is not that far away from Unicornia.
After their discussion and on their way to the train station, Sunset Shimmer had decided that she was going to stay in Canterlot and talk to Princess Luna about getting back into the school for gifted unicorns and maybe even becoming her protege. While she wasn't sure if that would come to pass, she did decide to stay in Canterlot regardless.
Once they got to the train station Luna was waiting for them. She gave them a smile and asked, "So I take it you are ready to return to" sighs in frustration "Unicornia?"
Before any of them could reply Sunset asked, "Princess Luna, can I ask you a question?" She motioned for her to step to the side and added, "Alone?"
Luna was unsure as to why she would want to do that but joined her off to the side. She began, "Princess Luna your Majesty, I have a very important question for you."
Luna asked, "Yes?"
Sunset continued, "Well as you know, at one time I was Princess Celestia's protege and I am wondering if you would allow me back into the school for gifted unicorns and maybe be your protege?"
Luna did not know much about Sunset except that she was not the most respectful protege but the fact that she did refer to her sister by name did impress her somewhat. She sighed, "I don't know Sunset, from what I understand you were a great student but you were very disrespectful to my sister and I really don't handle disrespect very well."
Sunset commented, "Princess Luna, I've changed. I have learned that disrespecting other ponies is not right. I have learned that it is better to be part of the community that try to take power."
Luna stood there deep in thought. She wanted to believe Sunset but still, she knew about how she treated her sister. She then heard the voice of Radiant, "Your Majesty, what she says is the truth. Over the past ten years, she has changed. When she first arrived, she was a power hungry individual but now she respects authority and does everything she can to help."
Hearing that from Radiant was enough to cause Luna to make a decision, "Sunset Shimmer, I will let you return to the school and you can be my protege....although you will have to change your sleep schedule since I do everything at night."
Sunset hugged Luna and exclaimed, "I'll change my sleep schedule so I can study alongside you your Majesty. You have no idea how happy I am that you're giving me this opportunity."
Luna replied, "Oh I think I do." She then pointed her wing towards Radiant and the others, "Before I take them down south so that they may return to Unicornia, I think you should say goodbye to your friends."
As she approached them, Radiant had a smile on her face while Moonlight and Twilight seemed less impressed. She first approached Radiant who immediately embraced her, "I guess this is farewell Sunset. I was very happy to have you living among us but if this is what you truly want, may you be happy for the rest of your days."
Sunset had a few tears running down her face, "Thank you your Majesty. I truly enjoyed being a member of your community but I feel like Canterlot is where I belong and Luna is giving me this wonderful opportunity."
Radiant gave her a smile, "I know she is."
Sunset then approached Twilight and Moonlight. Moonlight sighed, "Well Sunset, I guess this is goodbye. I'm going to admit, I think you are making a mistake but if this is truly what you want, then good luck to you. May you be happy for the rest of your days."
Sunset replied, "Thank you. May you be happy for the rest of your days too."
Sunset then approached Twilight who seemed irritated, "Sunset, are you sure this is what you truly want? Do you truly want to move back here and put up with all the hassles of city life? In Unicornia, you would still have a stress free life and be part of a sisterhood who looks out for one another. Here, it is everypony for themself, you won't always be guaranteed to have somepony there for you." She looked deep into Sunset's eyes and saw a bit of hurt, "Look, I can't stop you and I know that Luna will be the perfect teacher for you but I just think you need to think about the hassles of city life."
In the past Sunset would have flown off the handle over somepony lecturing her like that but that Sunset was gone. She gave Twilight a smile and replied, "Twilight, I know that you are simply looking out for me and want what is best for me but I feel like this is what is best for me." She saw Twilight's facial expression change somewhat and continued, "Twilight, this trip has made me realize everything that I have missed. I know that we are completely different ponies now. You like the safety and solitude of Unicornia while I want to return to a more exciting life." She gave her a smile and finished, "Twilight Sparkle, whatever endeavors you choose down there may you be happy for the rest of your days, which I know will be many."
Twilight knew a bit about Sunset's past and was shocked by her response. She replied, "Sunset, I am sorry for my initial reaction. Looking at it I think it was rather selfish on my part to try to pressure you into a decision that would cause you to stay with Moonlight and I, which is not what you want. May you be happy for the rest of your days and who knows, maybe you'll become a princess someday."
Sunset's eyes grew wide when she heard this. She didn't think that the pony who so shortly ago hated the thoughts of her leaving was now bringing that up. She had tears in her eyes as she embraced Twilight, "Thank you Twilight but please don't tempt me by saying that. In the past I would have said 'hell yeah' but now, I just want to go at whatever pace Princess Luna sets for me. If that is part of my destiny, that is great. If not, that is still great too."
Twilight gave her a smile, "Well I guess this is goodbye then, may you succeed in everything you do and may Luna aid you along every step of the way."
Luna then addressed Sunset, "Sunset, I need to take these three back down to the south. I want you to go to the courtyard under my balcony and await my return. Hopefully it won't take too long."
Sunset smiled, "Yes your Majesty, I'll be waiting for you."
Luna then turned to the other three, "Well shall we? I am certain that you are anxious to get home and for me to expand your borders."
Radiant replied, "We most certainly are."
They boarded the train and it took off to the south, headed towards the same spot where she had picked them up after they had captured Celestia. As they were headed south, Twilight felt a sense of relief that hopefully she would never have to set hoof in Canterlot again. She then began to think of an idea and she was going to suggest it to Princess Luna, an idea that if she agreed to, would prevent her from ever having to travel to Equestria again....a plan that would allow her to permanently stay in the dim light and safety of the forest that she had grown to love so much.
Unlike it was when she took the train out to pick up Celestia and her captors, Luna was able to get an engineer to take the train out to where they wanted it. This left Luna to ride in a car with the Unicornians. Luna sighed in frustration knowing that the final part of what she felt was a defeat would happen, her expanding the forest and thus, expanding the borders of the new nation of Unicornia.
Twilight could see a look of frustration on Luna's face and thought about whether it would be a good idea to talk to the princess about what she wanted or not but eventually, she decided "what do I have to lose?"
She approached the midnight blue Alicorn and asked, "Princess Luna, can I ask you a question?"
Luna asked in return, "What is this question you wish to ask?"
Twilight replied, "I am wondering if there is any way you could expand the tracks down to the border of Unicornia and put a train station there? I'm asking this because then my parents could come and visit, well that and if us and ponies in Equestria need to communicate by mail, we could."
Luna gasped in shock over this. She knew what this was truly over. She knew that this was completely Twilight's idea and knew that she was suggesting it so she would never have to set hoof in Equestria again. Luna sighed, "I don't know Twilight. I don't think we'd make any money off of it and I know for a fact that this is solely so you can hide out in the dim light of Unicornia for the rest of your days."
Radiant and Moonlight both heard this and were less than thrilled. Radiant commented, "That was uncalled for." She turned to Twilight and added, "But I do agree with Luna, this is just so your parents will come see you without you having to go to Dodge Junction."
Moonlight added, "Twilight, I know your heart is in the right place but I simply don't think allowing outsiders such easy access to Unicornia is that good of an idea. If they wish to visit, they can find their way to the gullies and walk here."
Twilight sighed, "You're all right. I did just want it so I wouldn't have to go to Dodge Junction to see my parents. I guess if I want to see them, I'll have to go there and perhaps convince them to simply move to be with me."
Radiant commented, "Twilight, I do think that would be the best option. Given that they are your family, I would be open to them relocating to Unicornia if they was to want to. Given by their reaction to the suggestion though, I have a bad feeling it won't happen."
Finally the train ground to a halt out where Luna had stopped it where they picked up Celestia. Luna stepped out and sighed, "Before we head on out, I will fly over Unicornia and cast a spell on it and everything ten miles outside of the forest to meet your demands and finally close this deal. I will then return and accompany you to the edge of the forest, the edge of your country."
Radiant replied, "That sounds good to me."
Luna took off to the south to cast the necessary spell. This was something she really didn't want to have to do, to fly to where she was over the exact center of the forest but for the spell to work properly, she had to do so. The forest was vast and stretched out for many miles so finding the exact center of it was quite the challenge for her. Ultimately all she could do was guess where the spell needed to be cast from and hope it was right.
Luna stretched vertically as she spread her aura out over a great amount of land, the whole forest and somewhat beyond. Her eyes began to shine white as she cast the spell. For her this spell seemed more difficult than it was for her to raise and lower the moon when she was just a filly. After ten minutes of releasing energy, she cast her gaze out and while she couldn't tell any difference as far as the size, she looked down and it appeared as though that the forest canopy was thicker than it was before, something that Luna thought to be impossible.
Once she flew north and reached the area where the border was, she knew that it had worked. The forest spread out far enough to the north now that the southern edge of the gullies were now within its confines, something that would make reaching the smooth path that led from the edge of the forest into their community more difficult, and probably less pleasant for Twilight's parents.
Once Luna returned to the Unicornians, she gave them a smile and said, "It is done. We shall head to the gullies and turn south, I am sure you will like what you see."
Luckily for them it wasn't too far to the gullies and once they arrived, they noticed that the gullies headed straight into the forest rather than there being some flat lands between their edge and the edge of it. Radiant gave the new border a smile and exclaimed, "This is exactly what we wanted!" She turned to Luna and added, "Well our deal is complete Princess Luna. You got what you wanted and we got what we wanted."
Luna was frustrated over the comment because while Unicornia obviously got what they wanted, Equestria only got Celestia back for long enough for her to have a meal and then to be burned with magic and banished into limbo. She mumbled, "Yeah, whatever."
Once they got to the edge of the trees, the three jumped down into the gullies that would lead them home. Moonlight gave Luna a smile and said, "This looks perfect!"
Twilight added, "I love it!"
Luna gave them the most of a smile that she could, "Yeah it is lovely isn't it."
Radiant then turned to Luna and said, "I know this has been hard on you your Majesty but I do hope that there can be diplomatic relations between our nations. After all, we are neighboring nations and all neighbors should be there for another."
Luna distantly replied, "Yeah, we should."
Radiant and the others turned south and finished, "Well goodbye Princess Luna, may Equestria under your rule prosper and may you never have to face any villains."
Luna replied, "The same goes with you Queen Radiant Hope, may your nation prosper."
They then parted ways and as they crossed under the canopy Radiant exclaimed, "Well ladies, we are now officially in the nation of Unicornia! We are home!" She then turned to Twilight and added, "And Twilight, without you none of this would be possible. The tyrant would still be molesting proteges, we wouldn't have this extra territory, we would still be part of Equestria and we wouldn't have our own nation. Because of that, I have a very special surprise for you once we get back to town."
Twilight's eyes grew wide as she asked, "Really? What is it?"
Moonlight laughed, "Twilight, she said it's a surprise! Telling you now would ruin it!"
Radiant added, "And I'm not about to spoil something like this!"
As the three headed south, Twilight's mind became full of wonder and anticipation. She couldn't help but wonder what this surprise was going to be. Yes what she did vindicated all the mares of her new homeland, prevented Celestia from ever being able to molest another protege and gave Unicornia more territory but still, what was this surprise she wondered. Even if it was something small, she was happy. She had aided in vindicating every single mare who was a protege of Celestia's and allowed her new homeland to become it's own country.
The New Princess of Unicornia
As the three headed south, there was one thing they noticed, they noticed that the forest canopy was thicker, they noticed that there seemed to be more trees than there were before and that it was darker than normal. This didn't bother Radiant or Moonlight but it made Twilight happy, very happy.
"Wow, that spell must have made the canopy thicker, I love it!" Twilight exclaimed.
Radiant gave her a smile, "It looks that way and with a denser forest, I know that everypony will likely be even happier."
Moonlight added, "It certainly adds to the safety factor."
Twilight was thrilled that the forest was even darker than it was before but soon her thoughts would return to what Radiant's surprise for her was. Normally if somepony brought up a surprise she didn't think a ton about it but just the way she made it sound, especially saying she didn't want to spoil something this big, it made her wonder.
After a couple of hours they finally reached town and when everypony saw them walking in, they began to celebrate, not noticing that Sunset was not with them. They were immediately greeted by Princess Glimmering Starlight, "Your Majesty, is everything taken care of?"
Radiant replied, "It is. Now I want you to go out and notify everypony that they are to gather here in front of the palace. I have some important announcements to make." She then turned to Twilight and added, "And I want you right by my side!"
Twilight smiled, "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!"
While Glimmering was going around town notifying everypony that they were to gather in front of the palace, Radiant and Twilight were up by the entrance of the palace watching ponies gather. Radiant had a huge smile on her face because of everything she was going to announce but what had her most excited though was the big surprise she had for Twilight.
After an hour everypony in town was gathered in front of the palace. Radiant stood in the center, Glimmering stood on her left and Twilight stood to her right. Once the crowd fell silent Radiant began,
"Thank you for coming everypony but I have some very special announcements, things that will benefit us greatly." The crowd stomped their hooves before she continued, "The first bit of good news I have is that the tyrant has been banished into limbo for all eternity! No longer will she be molesting any proteges!"
The crowd began to cheer wildly, praising the queen for her role in it. Once they calmed down she added, "Now don't go giving me all the credit. If it were not for Twilight Sparkle, she never would have been caught. Had she not told Princess Luna about what happened when she first came here, she would still be molesting proteges and be a threat to us all. Let's hear it for Twilight!"
"TWILIGHT, TWILIGHT, TWILIGHT!"
The crowd chanted for a whole minute before they quieted down. Radiant then continued, "And because of how the deal with their princess was worked out for the release of the tyrant, not only is the forest larger by ten miles in each direction but now we are our own nation. No longer are we part of Equestria. As of right now, we are the Nation of Unicornia!"
The crowd roared loudly when they heard this. Freedom from Equestria was something that they had been wanting for a very long time and now it was a reality. The crowd continued to roar loudly for several minutes before she raised and lowered her hooves to get them to quiet down.
Radiant then decided to break the big news, "Because of her being somewhat responsible for the banishment of the tyrant, us finally having our own nation and more territory, I have decided to do something special for the mare standing to my right, Twilight Sparkle."
She motioned for her to step forward and continued, "Twilight Sparkle, in the short five years that you have been here you have done a lot. You never missed a single patrol, without you the tyrant would have never been punished and without you we wouldn't have our own nation. That is something special so I have come to a decision. No longer shall you merely be Twilight Sparkle, you shall be Princess Twilight Sparkle!"
Twilight's jaw dropped as the crowd began to cheer wildly. This was something that she had never expected. She knew the surprise was going to be big but royal status was not something she was counting on. Once again the crowd began to chant her name and all this attention was something that Twilight really didn't want. She knew that she had to handle it though because chances were with her being royalty, she couldn't just blend into the background anymore.
Once the crowd quieted down a bit Radiant nudged Twilight and said, "Say something princess."
This caused Twilight to freeze. Yes the ponies knew that she was responsible somewhat for the tyrant being banished but what should she tell them. Should she mention anything about her time in Canterlot? Should she bring up anything about her time as Celestia's protege? Should she only bring up everything from the time that she became one of them up until the present?
After a brief moment of silence she began, "Hi everypony. As you know I'm Twilight Sparkle and I came here for the same reasons that you did, I escaped the tyrant. When I escaped, I came here through the gullies, gullies that provided me with cover and caves to sleep in on the way but once I crossed into the forest, I felt truly safe.
I will say this, my life has been wonderful since I have been here and I want to thank Moonlight Tulip for taking me in, bringing me to Queen Radiant Hope when I first arrived and then allowing me to live with her once I was recognized as one of us." She paused for a moment before adding, "Let's hear it for Moonlight Tulip. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be where I am today!"
Twilight along with everypony else began to cheer for Moonlight, who had a smile on her face knowing that just because Twilight was royalty now, that she didn't suddenly forget about her. She then motioned for Moonlight to come up to her side. Moonlight was in a state of shock that the new princess would want her to come up to her side.
Once she was up by her side she continued, "I'm sure many of you here know Moonlight Tulip. She may be a friend, a neighbor, an acquaintance or just a passing face but for me, she is so much more. When I came here, I was scared, I was always afraid that......ok, I'm not bringing that up but I always worried that I wouldn't adjust but it was Moonlight who helped me adjust and truly become one of us."
Moonlight gave her a hug, "Well I knew you were scared at first and weren't sure if you would fit in. You were young and you didn't have your parents with you so I thought that I could be like a mother for you."
Twilight tightened the embrace, "Well you have been the mother figure I have needed and despite me being a princess now, I do hope that I can continue to live with you."
Radiant stepped forward and commented, "If it is ok with her, you may continue to live with her. No one ever said you had to move into the palace. You'll just have to be here for important events. If you'd rather still live like a normal citizen for the most part, I'm ok with it."
Twilight asked, "Does that mean I could still join Moonlight on her patrols of the north?"
Radiant saw that both of them were giving her one of those looks that pretty much was a form of begging. She replied, "Well since we don't have any threats anymore, of course you can."
Twilight embrace her and exclaimed, "Did you hear that mom , we can continue to live like we have for the most part!"
Moonlight was shocked by what Twilight had called her. While her and Twilight had developed what amounted to a mother/daughter relationship, she never imagined that Twilight would call her mom, especially after meeting with her biological parents not that long ago.
She gasped, "You really think of me as your mom now?"
Twilight replied, "Of course, you're a lot more like me and you've been here for me the whole time. My biological parents basically pawned me off on somepony else when I was young."
Moonlight gave her another hug, "Well I'm honored that you feel that way and if you want me as your mom, I'm completely open to it."
The crowd again began to cheer seeing the newly crowned princess was not wanting to live a royal lifestyle. To them, that was proof that Twilight was a whole lot more like them. While they loved Glimmering Starlight, they felt more of a connection to Twilight because of this. Again the crowd began to chant her name over and over.
After a minute of chanting, she lowered her hooves and turned to Radiant. She asked, "Your Majesty, do you think we could cut this short because I really want to celebrate with my mom."
Radiant gave her a smile, "Of course you can." She then turned to the crowd and announced, "Well everypony, I am glad you can make it but Twilight wants to cut this short so she can have a private celebration with her mom."
Twilight and Moonlight embraced one another and headed towards their house as the crowd continued to cheer. Once they got home Twilight asked, "Mom, what do you want me to fix for us for lunch."
Moonlight gasped, "Twilight sweetie, today was your big day. I'm fixing something for you!"
Twilight would have none of it, she was bound and determined to prepare a meal for her and the mare that she called mom in front of everypony. "Oh alright sweetie, how about you fix us plum sandwiches."
Twilight gave her a smile, "Alright, two plum sandwiches coming up!"
Despite being a princess, Twilight continued to live more like a regular citizen than a royal. She continued to do patrols with Moonlight and she only really ever spent significant times at the palace when big events came along, including annual visits by Princess Luna. Even then though, she still slept at home and had Moonlight accompanying her for those events.
