Jack Patrick is a fourteen-year-old closet brony and dinosaur enthusiast, who is often bullied by other kids at his school, and has only a couple of close friends: Will Gibson, who is also a brony; and Emily Ridley, a nature-loving cheerleader. But, one day, Jack’s life is changed when he not only finds an old book about animals he really loves, but is unexpectedly visited by the Main 6, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer. Accompanied by Will and Emily, he joins the Equestrians on an epic adventure into the magical land of Equestria, where they also explore deep into the Everfree Forest to find something...that transports them all into a world populated by dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.
