A man gets disowned by his family for being a brony, and resorts to living in the washes of Tucson. He begins to explore the pipes built into the sides of the washes, and finds his way to other worlds. He eventually comes across Equestria, and decides to settle down there. His friend, still on Earth, fakes his own death to follow in his friend's footsteps. He finds his way to Equestria, and settles down there as well. This story details their adventures together.
