Chapters Life of a human turned dragon in Ponyville
Author's Note
This story will be following the life of Hunter Stevens after he has been transported to the edge of the Everfree forest along with his house and surrounding property. He has also been turned into a dragon so there's that.
My current plans for Hunter as a character are for him to be a 19 year old human that has been turned into a dragon that is capable of walking in bipedal and quadrupedal styles. (but seriously add wings and a tail and your center of gravity shifts, so don't think there wont be problems for awhile.)
Hunter is a Christian that grew up with his dad, mom and younger sister. (God/Christianity will not play a huge role in this story but will be brought up in the first few chapters, mostly while hunter tries to figure out his situation.)
This is my first story and I will rely greatly on comments from everyone in order to grow my writing style into something appropriate, I don't know whether to do large chapters every few weeks or short chapters once a week so your input is appreciated.
Chapter 1. What am I !!!
"Soooo, what's the verdict?" I'm asking myself as I lie in my warm, soft, comfortable bed.
"Option one, hold it and try to go back to sleep? Or option two, get out of my warm bed and take care of business and brave the horror's that are known as the cold air?"
Now, I suppose this is a rather common question that most everyone asks themselves on a regular basis, and 90% of the time I take option one, (especially during the colder months, don't get me wrong, I love the cold, winter is my favorite time of year.... I just don't enjoy the shock of leaving a nice warm bed and entering the cold just after I've woken up). However two things are working to sway me towards option two today. The first of those things being this weird cramp I'm getting near my shoulder blades, the other being the fact that I drank a large glass of water last night right before bed, and I'm really starting to regret it.
"Well, I really need to go, and I suppose I wont be able to get back to sleep until I stretch my back out anyway."
I've already noticed its still dark outside with just the tiniest hint of light coming through the window so I figure its slightly after six o'clock. So making my decision that I need to start my day anyway, I slowly sit up and shift to the right side of my bed while throwing my blankets off me before standing up and walking towards my door... or trying to at least.
"WOOAHHoomph!! ... ... ...man, that hurt! ... What did I trip on?"
I reach up to make sure I didn't break my nose when I feel something that doesn't seem right, like at all.
"What the heck?"
I say as I feel my nose, or should say muzzle? Anyways, as I rub my face to see what's happening I notice a few things. One, yes I definitely feel a muzzle of some king along with... wait...
"WHY DO I HAVE WHAT FEELS LIKE SCALES ON MY FACE!!! AND WHY DO I HAVE a.... oh.... hahaha..... I must be dreaming. Either this is all a dream and I'm still asleep, or I've fallen harder than I thought and knocked myself out."
So, here I am lying on my stomach having the most lucid dream I've ever had, and I'm dreaming of being a what, a dragon? I mean sure I like dragons, loved playing the Spyro games and such as a kid, and even bought the new Spyro Reignited Trilogy game for my switch just to play for the memories... also yeah dragons. Heck, I loved watching the HTTYD movies, and even the series has some appeal, but. I've never actually dreamed of BEING a dragon.
"HAHA, this is pretty cool, I wonder if.....WOW I even have wings!!! And I can feel them when I touch them!! Huh, I guess that's where that weird cramp came from.... can't seem to move them, which is kinda odd, aren't you supposed to be able to do anything you want when lucid dreaming?''
Bahhh whatever, this is awesome!!!
"Lord, thank you, id be lying if I said this isn't something I've been wanting to dream of for awhile now!"
SO, getting up and stumbling around trying to walk on two legs for awhile trying to regain my balance then switching to four after I failed and wound up with a sore snout (Wow! I can even feel pain in this dream.) and finding it easier to crawl on four, if only to have less of a fall while I try to reach my light switch, I mean yeah, its still dark, and I want to see what my dream self looks like! Although, I'm able to see quite well right now, must be more light coming in than I thought
"YES!! I made it and owwwwww this whole feeling pain thing while dreaming is almost not worth the realism. Although, now that I think about it, I'm able to see quite well right now, must be more light coming in than I thought."
So, slowly lifting my right arm up, or is that a right foreleg? or both? Meh too much thought, anyways, I flip the light on and...realize just how sensitive my draconic eyes are to light even if this is my dream so this shouldn't be happening.
"AHH TOO BRIGHT"
I yell out then stumble backwards tripping over something, and by the new feeling of pain, probably my tail... I HAVE A TAIL WOW, THIS IS AWEes...
Never got to finish that thought as I suddenly start to black out from hitting my head on the corner of some piece of furniture or something, my last statement before I pass out is.
"Huh, what happens when you pass out while your dreaming, is that even possible?

Chapter 3 Getting to know myself?
Ok, so here I am, just silently processing everything that is going on, and still trying to decide if I believe its happening or not. I mean, come on, everyone... well not everyone, but most of us think that waking up to find ourselves a dragon would be EPIC!. In reality every one of us would be panicking, well, all the sane ones out there. (Yes, you know who you are!) Anyways, I have been sitting here for awhile now, and I think its time I do something, if just to get my brain started again.
"So, I guess I'm a dragon now, at least that's what I'm going with. Still not counting out the option of being In a coma, or just in a really weird dream. But, If I am dreaming all of this, then there's nothing I can do about it, so, may as well enjoy myself in any case."
Lets see here, I want to see what I look like, but all I can tell right now is that I've got forest green scales on my arms, and.. hmm well at least I'm roughly the same size as I was, I've still got my Sleep clothes on.
"Hrm, well at least my clothes will still fit, they'll have to be re fitted for some changes in body structure from what I can tell, and ill defiantly have to have holes cut out for my wings... ... ... wow... I have wings... I HAVE WINGS!!! ... ... ... Crap... I hate heights... meh, not like I could learn to fly any time soon anyways. I mean I cant even make them move, there just lying limp against my sides."
Well, If I want to get a good look at my new body I guess I need to get these clothes off.
10 hours later (Nah, 10 minutes, but, you know. SpongeBob!) (you know you heard that voice!)
"Ugh well at least I'm getting the hang of moving around better than I thought I would. Maybe I'll be able to be walking normally by the end of the day. Two legs or four I don't even care, so long as I don't fall on my face every few seconds. Well anyways lets get a better look at myself."
Ok, not bad, not bad. From what I can see I'm completely covered in scales, forest green on most of my body with yellow? No, dull gold from my belly all the way down the underside of my tail all the way to the tip, and wait... is that a tail blade! Wow cool, apparently I've got a dull silver, almost gray tail blade.
"Ok, for a dragon I definitely don't look half bad. At least I didn't turn pink. Ok so what else... hmm, well my hands seem mostly similar in construction, four fingers and an opposable thumb on each. Green everywhere except for the palms and finger pads, which are gold as well, and the gold scales seem much smaller and more sensitive. Hmm looks like there are small holes where claws could poke out from! My feet seem similar to my hands, almost seem like my hands are just slightly larger than my human ones, and my feet look mostly the same. Hmm wonder if my shoes will still fit?"
Anyways, shoes aside not much else I can tell without looking in a mirror... crud, only mirror I got is in the bathroom, and the bathroom is down stairs...
To anyone who wants to know I live in a small cabin style home with two stories, a main floor and a smaller upper floor.
Its Got A living room to the left as soon as you walk in the front door, and a kitchen to the right. bathroom is right past the kitchen towards the back right hand side of the house with a laundry room right past that with a door exiting on to a porch on the back side of the house. The dining room is located at the back left of the house right behind a wall with French doors that separate it from the living room. Not with how little company I plan on getting, I basically converted it into my office and general storage room for the time being.
On the wall separating the kitchen from the the living room there is a set of stairs that lead up towards the second floor which Only has a hall way and two rooms, I have one room set up Is my bedroom, and the other Is my music room, It holds an electric piano that has a whole list of options for sound modification. A couple types of guitars, and a traditional cello As well as an electric cello.
Ok, back to the story.
"Ok, I need to make a decision. Learn to walk on four legs, or relearn my balance on two?"
Hmm, I think I'll stick with bipedal movement for now, I mean walking on four sounds fun, but I'll need to be able to carry stuff around while I'm walking, and I don't plan on carrying everything around in my mouth.
"Ok time to start relearning how to walk, I mean, ho... No, I'm not going to say it. God is all powerful, and I think he likes to invoke Murphy's law a little to much."
"Ok, a little harder than I thought, but not bad!"
Yeah, learning to walk wasn't the issue so much as relearning my center of balance, sure my legs were a little shorter, but my biggest hinderance was my tail getting in the way,
'Hmm well, I can move it a little near the base, but the further on I go it just feels like muscles I haven't learned how to use yet. I can feel it when I move it with my arms, but I cant move it on its own.
"Well, when I step on it it hurts, and it automatically pulls itself in, at least I know I've got the ability to move it. Maybe give it a day or two and It'll be second nature, I mean I'm hoping for a lot, but who knows? Well... I guess its time for the ultimate test... the stairs."

So after walking to the bathroom, which was actually starting to become easier, I finally got a look at what I look like
"Wow, I got a pair of horns... look pretty cool actually, at least they don't look like those cartoon devil horns people always wear around Halloween."
Hmm, Ok, I got a Pair of silver horns that seem to match my tail blade which come out at the top of my head towards the back and sweep backwards and up at a slight angle. They each end in a blunt point which could probably be sharpened if I use a file in them, but for now, maybe its good that I cant impale myself or anything else with them very easily.
"Alright, So it seems those gold scales on my belly continue up my neck and ton towards the underside of my snout right about to what I would call my chin. And what are these... well looks like I've got two fins of some kind around my ears, and yes I do have ears, there more Like a reptiles same kind of cavity between my scales, wonder if the fins are designed to help catch the sound waves and direct them into my ears? Well, its the best idea I've got at the moment."
"Ok, what's ne.....
Now up until this point in time I had been in discovery mode, and now that some my questions have been answered and my brain is starting to think more clearly something very important I've needed to do for quite awhile makes itself known.
"Well, I guess its a good thing the mirror was in the bathroom!"

Chapter 4. Startling discoveries
Ok, so, when It came time for me to use the bathroom I realized something I should have noticed as soon as I removed my clothes. I seemed to be missing somethings very important to every guy. Sufficed to say, I responded how anyone else would. Perfectly calm and collected...( HAH YEAH RIGHT!)

"OH! CRAP!!"

"Well... I'm glad the bathroom has tiled walls..."
Seriously though, what was that! D.. Did I just breathe out fire!
Now, most of you might think that If you were in my shoes you would be mentally shouting "CCOOOLL!!!" Well, I cant deny it, a small portion of my brain did just that, however, I was mostly panicking beyond belief. I mean how would you feel if you had just gotten the scare of your life, and then, in your shout of surprise and dread you suddenly spew out flames like you have a propane tank in your stomach?
So, after staring wide eyed for awhile I slowly started filing information in my brain and deciding what needed to be taken care of first. I still felt like my bladder was about to explode so I decided I should focus on my plumbing for the moment.
''Ok... so, I don't see any external features at the moment, soo.. lets check things out."
Sufficed to say I was in for a few surprises. First, I discovered that my 'entrance' for a lack of a better term, was hidden behind what appeared to be some flexible scales and behind them I discovered my eherm 'member' was close to what A cats looks like, small fleshy barbs with the addition of what I can only assume is a 'knot' like what you would find on a canine. I basically had a ''sheathed member' except my sheath was internal instead of external.
''Ok... so, I've changed a few things in the plumbing department. I cant seem to find my 'family jewels' however, seeing as I am definitely still male, I'll assume they are located internally. Now that I think about it, it actually makes sense, I don't remember ever seeing or reading about a reptilian species with external plumbing before."
So with that crisis averted, and learning how to use the restroom with my new plumbing, I could finally start focusing on other important matters, predominantly, FIRE!
Ok, so I definitely shot out some fire, which, now that I think about it is pretty EPIC!.... But, yeah, I'm definitely glad my bathroom walls are t.....
"Huh... that's odd..."
I shot out fire, I saw it, it lit up my mirror and kinda spread along my wall extending in a circle around the point of impact, but...
''There's not a scorch mark anywhere... no soot, or anything associated with fire, there's not even any change to the mirror, and at the very least, it should have warped or cracked with the rapid temperature shift.''
Wonder what the deal is...? Hah, guess it could be 'magic' fire...
"Huh... after turning into a mythological creature... I guess anything seems possible at this point."
Lord, help me.
"Well, what next?"
I'm standing there planning on what I should do next, when I hear some loud barking and scratching at the door.
"Oh crap! Wolf!" I say as I run straight for the door, (without stumbling or anything I might add!) and unlock and throw it open.
"Wolf! come here boy!"
GGRRRR!!
"Uhh gulp,what's wrong boy?" I say before I get tackled to the ground by a large snarling dog.
Oh... right... dragon, should have thought of that bfore fling the door open
GGRRRR BARK! BARK! GGRRR BARK!
"DOWN BOY DOWN, HEEL"
Wolf backs stops biting me and his ears flick back and his tail tucks. But he's still growling.
GRRR
"That's it, its ok boy its me, its Hunter."
At this point wolf starts sniffing me all over, then his tail starts wagging and I receive One of the grossest things on the planet, a round of dog kisses.
"BLEGK HAHA, CUT THAT OUT HAHA DOWN HA BOY DOWN HAHA, YUCK!"
Bark Bark!
"Haha well, now that that's over I guess I better see if anything has changed outside, but since you were waiting for me at the front door, I guess everything is the same out there, Don't need anyone outside to see a real live dragon and call the government. But then again my house is 45 min from town, and there's quite a few miles between me and any neighbors and at least a mile drive to the main road. I should be good."
I'm saying all this to my self as well as to Wolf, my dog, he's a tamaskan dog, looks so much like a wolf without all the wild genes. (Yeah, he looks like a wolf and I named him Wolf, so sue me, not like I named him cat! and I rather like the name, he sure doesn't complain) So anyway I'm basically talking to myself as I get up and make my way to the still open front door.
"Well, lets take a look see here shall we?" I say as I step out the door and onto the covered porch. Out of everything I expected to see This definitely wasn't one of them.

Alright, only tool an hour and a half with this one and again, it seems every chapter I post my writing style seems to evolve a bit more.
SOmething Important I need to address, as I am personally a christian There will be NO CLOP SCENES in this story. there will be rude humor, primarily from a certain rainbow collared Pegasus, and maybe an embarrassing moment or two, but no sex scenes whatsoever. I included the brief portion about the plumbing change because it was a totally natural concern and reaction, also a great way to introduce Hunter's new flame capabilities, however, I don't plan to revisit that topic again.
Anyways, thanks for the ready guys! Comment below on any suggestions yall might have.

Life of a human turned dragon in Ponyville
So, lets recap. I woke up this morning thinking I was dreaming about becoming a dragon. Then I blinded myself which led to me tripping over my tail, and knocking myself out. Then I woke up with a bad headache which was only made worse by an alarm I shouldn't have set in the first place. Next I discover I really have become a dragon which leads to a not so short session of gathering my thoughts. After all this I discover I have to relearn my center of balance, in order to walk while keeping track of my tail which seems to drag along the floor behind me. Finally after learning to walk and making my way downstairs I get a few unexpected surprises. And that leads us to right now, where I get the biggest shock of my life.
"Wolf, I don't think were in the Smokies any more."
I kid you not, One night I'm sleeping in my house located in the Smokey mountains somewhere around the border between Tennessee and North Carolina, the next morning I wake up to Find myself still in a forest, however everything seems off.
First, I notice That the trees surrounding my property are not the normal pine tree, but some other type of tree that I cant seem to place, which is cause for concern seeing as I knew a lot about the different types of plant life along the east coast.
Second, I realize that the landscape around me has completely changed, seriously, not a single mountain looks familiar.
Finally I notice that the air temperature seems warmer than it has in awhile, and I'm picking up a whole new range of smells than what I'm used to.
So after standing there for awhile with my jaw dropped to the ground, I do what anyone else would have done. Turn around head back inside and slam the door shut... and then open it again... and shut it again. This continues for a few more minutes before I close the door for A final time and walk over to my recliner and just... collapse.
"Ok, so... apparently I have not only become a dragon, but I have also been transported somewhere else entirely, heck at this point I should probably consider the fact that I have jumped dimensions or something... ... ...
Nah... lets not get ahead of ourselves, I mean there's got to be a sane, logical explanation for all of this. But then again, what other options do I have at the moment? There's no damage to the house from what I can see, and I'm definitely not where I was before.
''Well, since I have no other explanations I guess Ill stick with the thought of crossing dimensions, I mean I've always hopped it was possible, maybe I was caught in some freak anomaly and was spit into a land of Magical and mythical creatures..."
Oh wow, I must have hit my head harder than I thought if I'm starting to have thoughts like that... I think Ill get Wolf some food, and water real quick, then I think Ill take some aspirin and lie down on the couch for awhile.
So, after taking care of Wolf, which he was very happy about, I Got some aspirin and a sleeping pill which should help me get two or three hours of sleep and hopefully clear up my head. Popping the pills and lying down on the couch I notice that my scales don't seem to damage or scratch the leather in any way which seems kind of odd, but my head is pounding too much to think about it too hard and before long I slip into the land of dreams.
HUNTER
"Huh! whose there!
CALM YOURSELF MY SON
"Your son? Dad is that you? What's going on? Was I just dreaming all that's been happening? Have I been in a coma!
(chuckles) NO MY SON, I AM YOUR FATHER, JUST NOT YOUR BIOLOGICAL ONE
"My father but not my... GASP... DOES THAT MEAN YOU'RE...
YES, I AM GOD
''Oh... wow... um... wow, I.. I don't know what to say, I guess since I'm talking to you then I'm dead, and that I'm in Heaven? Was I in a come for some reason and I died?
NO, MY SON, YOU ARE NOT DEAD, AND YES, EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED ABOUT BECOMING A DRAGON AND CHANGING LOCATIONS HAS BEEN REAL
''Oh, wow, but why? if I'm not dead then how are we talking? And since you know about the whole dragon thing im assuming you have something to do with it?''
YES I AM THE ONE WHO TURNED YOU INTO A DRAGON AND TRANSPORTED YOU TO A DIFFERENT DIMMENSION, OR UNIVERSE IF YOU WILL. AND AS FOR YOUR SECOND QUESTION WE ARE SPEAKING TO ONE ANOTHER BECAUSE I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
"OH, ok, so, what happened?"
DO YOU REMEMBER THE THUNDER STORM THAT OCCURED AS YOU FELL ASSLEP LAST NIGHT? WELL BASICALLY THAT STORM ALONG WITH ALL THE HEAVY RANI FALL THE PAST FEW DAYS CAUSED A ROCKSLIDE WHICH THE LAND ON WHICH YOUR PROPERTY RESIDED WAS DIRRECTLY IN ITS PATH.
"Oh, so It was my time to die? Don't take me wrong, I'm grateful, but why did you do all this, why not just let me die and continue on into heaven? I am still going to heaven right?!
(CHUCKLES) YES MY SON YOU ARE STILL GOING TO HEAVEN, AFTER ALL YOU DID PUT YOUR FAITH IN MY SON JESUS. AS FOR WHY YOU ARENT IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW, THAT CAN STILL HAPPEN IF THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT, BUT I DECIDED I WOULD OFFER YOU A CHANCE TO LIVE IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE OF MINE AS A DRAGON AS YOU SEEMED TO BE SO FOND OF THEM
"Oh, wow, uh thanks! I mean, I guess Ill miss the family, but Ill have all of eternity to be with them later so since your offering then yes, I would very much like to stay in this world as a dragon. Just please, bring peace to my family and friends during and after my funeral"
Of COURSE MY SON I ALWAYS DO, AND IF ITS ANY CONSOLATION SOME OF YOUR WORK COLEGUES WILL COME TO SAVING FAITH DURING THE FUNERAL SERVICE
"Wow, was I really that much of an influence on them?"
YES AND I THANK YOU FOR STANDING STRONG AGAINST THE STORM YOU HAVE BROUGHT MORE LIVES TO ME THAN YOU KNOW. NOW, I THINK ITS TIME YOU WAKE UP, AND DONT FORGET IM ALWAYS LISTENING WHEN YOU PRAY, I MAY NOT TALK BACK LIKE WE ARE NOW, BUT IM ALWAYS LISTENING AND I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TO OFFER YOU AID WHEN YOU NEED IT.
"Wow (sniff) thanks Lord, it feels good to know all my trying wasn't in vain. But wait! Before you go, can you tell me where I am, and what my abilities as a dragon are?"
(CHUCKLES) I COULD, BUT WHERE WOULD BE THE FUN IN THAT? DONT WORRY YOU ARE SOMEWHAT FAMMILAR WITH TE WORLD YOU ARE NOW IN, AFTER ALL, YOU'RE SISTER DID INTRODUCE YOU TO IT. AS FOR YOUR ABILITIES BASICALLY, MAGIC. NOW ITS TIME TO WAKE UP.
"But wait! What do you me........."

"AARRGGHH! How did you even get down here!!!"

Well guys chapter 5 is done! Took a little over an hour and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. We finally know why Hunter is a dragon and that he has been taken to another world( we al know which one)

Chapter 6 Situational awareness.
So, I now know that what has happened to me is in fact real. I still don't understand why God decided I should be the one to get this chance, I wonder if He has offered this to others before? Who knows, in any case I was still mentally reeling from the fact that I had actually Had a conversation with God, I mean yes, I always believed God heard me when I prayed, but this is on another level. But of course I couldn't muse over that for long because there was something annoying me to no end.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
"AARRGGHH! How did you even get down here!!!"
Yes I don't know how, but my alarm clock was sitting on the table beside the couch on the side near my feet. So, grumbling to myself I slowly sit up and started to lean over to shut the blasted thing off. But I was confounded when I saw that the time read 8:00AM.
"What! How is it.."
BEEP BEEP BEE
"No, you don't get to finish that beep!"
But seriously, how is it 8:00AM? Those pills shouldn't have made me sleep for more than two or three hours, at max four. Oh well, i guess ill just chalk it up to God for now, probably was him actually seeing as he was talking to me.... still is hard to believe. Now, about that clock....
''Lord, did you seriously just move my alarm clock to wake me up?"
Wow never would have thought God to be a troll...
"Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna have to start chalking unexplainable things up to God, seeing as how he brought me here, He is actually likely to be the reason."
Well, my headache is gone and apparently its eight in the morning, I guess I better get up and feed Wolf, then I should probably take stock on just what all was brought along with m. Seeing as how Wolf, the house, and everything in it is still here I wonder if all my other stuff is as well?
So, after feeding Wolf, and grabbing myself a banana from the fruit bole on the kitchen table. I decided to go outside and take stock of everything that came with me, but as I was on my way out, trying to peel my banana I ran into a little snag.
"How am I supposed to extend my claws?"
The answer was pretty simple actually. Do you remember when you were playing games as a kid pretending you were a bear or a werewolf or something else with claws? Yeah, basically I just did that motion with my hand and my claws extended about half an inch from the end of my fingers. after trying this a few times I discovered I could control which claws I wanted to extend and how to retract them at will.
"Huh, that was a lot easier than I expected. I wonder If my brain is becoming adjusted to this new body or something, because I just realized I'm swaying my tail along with my strides, and I'm walking perfectly without any slip ups or anything."
Wonder about walking on all fours?
"Focus Hunter, there will be time for experimentation later, right now I think ill go outside and check on my property... ... ... but first I think Ill put on some clothes.
So after heading up to the bedroom I make some adjustments (basically cutting a tail hole in my pants and making two slits in my shirt for my wings) I put on a pair of boxers, camo cargo pants and a white t-shirt. Sadly my shoes don't seem to fit any more, however my scales should be enough to protect me. That's when I notice my phone, one of the newest being a Samsung Note 9 in its otter box case pugged in and at full power, so I grab it and its clip and attach it to my belt while grabbing a set of wireless earbuds and finding thankfully, they still fit in my ears. So on my ways down stairs I open up my song library and pick on of my favorite songs by Home Free.
While the song is playing I head out the door noticing that Wolf is following behind be, so after he is through I close the door and continue to survey the property around me. The first thing I notice is that the driveway leading up to my house seems to head out towards the tree line and end right before entering it. after glancing from side to side I theorize that a square portion of the forest has been destroyed and my house and land has replaced it. also in my driveway sits something that makes me very happy.
My 1951 ford F1, now my dad and I had been building this thing for about two years after I would get off from work and on the week ends. Basically, I bout the body of someone and bought a 76 Chevy C-10 and just put the body on top of it. I had to cut out a few parts, adapt and fabricate quite a few things, but in he end I've got a 51 style Ford with a 76 Chevy 350 V8 that is able to keep up with todays cars on the highway. ( I mainly did it because 51 ford parts are $$$, so I went with Chevy parts that you can find at about any auto store.) and to add on to it all, I added a sticker that says Built Ford Tough with Chevy Stuff. I received many comments about 50% were like 'that's awesome!' and the other 50% were like 'dude, that's just wrong'. But in any case I'm happy with how it turned out.
Anyways, moving around the house I was ecstatic to fins that my stand alone garage had come along for the journey as well, because inside it lies a 1947 Dodge Power Wagon that is completely torn apart and just waiting to be fixed and reassembled. I also have an old WW2 era jeep Willis that I restored, I even got a real WW2 MG put on it! Next up is backhoe loader, which I had fixed for one of the guys in the area that knew me well enough to ask if I could look it over, all that was wrong was a few bad wire connections, so in the end all I was gonna ask for was for him to use it to help me redo the gravel on my driveway the next time it needs to be done... guess its mine now. And finally, my pride and joy A fully restored Case steam tractor, Ever since I was a kid I had a fascination with steam, so when the opportunity came up for me to buy this thing I snatched it up, it was a lot of work getting it done, but every time I see it, it plasters a huge grin on my face. After opening the garage and finding that everything is in fact still inside I lock it back up, and go behind the house to find the garden still growing strong with plenty of vegetables that should be ready for picking in a week or two.

So after making my rounds while listening to a few more songs from my playlist I Head back inside the house and check inside to make sure that everything is still working, and other than finding that I have no internet or TV reception Everything else works, I guess the solar panels on the roof are still working fine since I haven't noticed the power fluctuating at all. Also I discover that what ever well the house gets its water from is still working because I decided to take a shower. and let me tell you, I was in for a surprise because I had to turn the water all the way up in order to get my normal feeling of warmth. anyways after showering and getting dressed again, I decide to head down stairs and make a plan on what I should do next.

Chapter 7. The locals take notice.
Fluttershy POV
I was just sitting there, frozen in shock. Harry the bear, my good friend and protector had come to my cottage a little earlier than normal this morning, now that wasn't a problem for me as I always get up very early to take care of all my little friends. What was a problem was the shape he was in when he arrived, he had tears streaming down the sides of his snout, and he was blubbering something about berry bushes, so naturally I tried to calm him down a bit and get him to tell me what the problem was, what he said really surprised me, It was so outrageous that even I had a hard time believing him, not that I let him know that. So, naturally I got him to completely calm down, and asked him to tell me more.
"There there Harry, shh it will be ok. Now, if you don't mind, could you tell me more about this strange house being where your favorite berry bushes should be?"
So he told me, and by the time his retelling of what he had seen this morning had me shaking like a leaf. He told me that after waking up, he headed straight for his favorite patch of berry bushes. On his way there he noticed the forest was a lot quieter than it normally was, and he soon found out why. located in the same area as his bushes used to be was large clearing devoid of any Everfree foliage of any kind. and while that was certainly strange in and of itself, what really disturbed him was the fact that two large houses, and some other weird items were located in the middle of the new clearing. Apparently he asked some of the animals that were also here staring, and they said that they hadn't seen anyone yet, but that they thought they had heard a voice coming from inside. So, whilst crying over the fact that his favorite berry bushes were gone he thought it was a good Idea to come and get me so I could see for myself. Noting that according to his description of the location that it was just inside the forest about halfway between my place and Applejack's farm I decided that this was definitely something the girls needed to know.
So after offering Barry some berries I had, which he happily accepted, I made my way over to the Golden Oaks library, or now more commonly referred to as Twilight's library seeing as how twilight is now living there as the librarian with her young dragon friend Spike.
Now, even though it had only been a few days since we all met, we quickly discovered that we had created a great friendship during our trek into the deeper parts of the Everfree where we found the elements and ended up defeating Nightmare Moon. I still cant believe that Princess Celestia has a sister! Anyways we had quickly become good friends and I was so glad to have them as friends, because even though I was always shy around other ponies, I found I was able to loosen up around them, if only just a little bit.
So, after arriving at the library I knocked and Spike opened up the door, and asked if I wanted some pancakes, which I gladly accepted only just realizing I had completely to eat breakfast before coming here. So after telling Harry's story to both Twilight and Spike they were both just sitting there Starring wide eyed at me with syrup sliding out of their open jaws. Quickly shaking herself out of her stupor, and shaking spike to do the same she turned to me and said.
"But Fluttershy, that's impossible, a section of the Everfree doesn't just get removed without a trace, sure in a normal forest a high level unicorn could probably make a section of trees disappear, but the Everfree has some weird magical properties that makes magically destroying it impossible. Not to mention having two large buildings constructed within a few days just doesn't seem possible, are you sere about this?"
"Well, I haven't seen it myself, but Harry has never lied to me before, and I did notice how a lot of my critters never came out of the forest today, so a lot of them may be bunkering down, that's normally what they do wen they are scared by something."
"Well, ok I guess we can get the girls together and go check it out." Said twilight,
"Hey" Spike spoke up. "can I come with you guys, if we run into any Timberwolves I can light them on fire... and this time Ill make sure its my heat fire, not my mail fire...."
Fluttershy completely stopped everything at that point, her eyes widening and turning to twilight with a look of absolute mortification.
"Hmm" thought Twilight. "Sure Spike I don't see why not, why don't you go get Rarity and Pinkie, Ill get Applejack, any Fluttershy can get Rainbow."
"Thanks Twilight!, Ill get them and meet you at AJ's" Spike said as he ran out the front door slamming it shut.
Twilight then looked over to Fluttershy and noticed the state she was in. "Fluttershy, what's wrong?"
"Did, did Spike really send a timberwolf to Princess Celestia?"
Twilights eyes got wide." Oh, no, nothing so dangerous. You see, for my last birthday, after my parents brought out the cake, they asked Spike if he could light the candles. Now at the time spike had just recently discovered how to breathe fire due to a bunch of dragon sneeze trees that were in bloom. So, after taking a big breath, he sent out his green flame, but unfortunately something happened and his flame got huge and covered the entire thing, only instead of burning away, it proceeded to transform into a green mist and fly out the window.
Celestia's POV Around a year ago.
Ugh, why wont my dear nephew shut up allready? I love him, but Blueblood has been up here argueing why he should get more land for the past ten minutes and there are many more ponies here today that really need my guidance.
I was about to shush him when something strange happened. A greeen mist floated through the window and proceded to hover right in front of me, which just so happened to be right above blueblood who was the only pony in the room which hasn't noticed it and continued to talk until.
SPLAT
My eyes along with every other ponies went wide at what just happened, a cake had just formed from the mist, and proceeded o land right on Bluebloods head. Now, many things could have happened at that point, but only one thing seemed right.
"HAHAHA........"
After blueblood ran from the room in embarrassment over me actually bellowing in laughter over what had just happened, all the other ponies in the room and even my own personal guards proceeded to join me. What had caused the cake to appear was quite a mystery until my student Twilight came in the next day who told me what Spike had accidentally done after I asked how her birthday went.....
nd Celestia's POV
"Oh my (giggle) that sounds like something out of a comedy story "Said Fluttershy after hearing Twilight's retelling of that days' events.
"Yes (giggle) it really was, just don't mention it to spike, he's still embarrassed over it."
"Oh don't worry I wont." Said Fluttershy as she followed twilight out the library's door. "Well, I guess I should start looking for Rainbow, if she's not at her house she could be napping just about anywhere, you might even find her in one of AJ's trees."
"Yeah" replied Twilight "It amazes me how that mare can actually sleep at night with how munch she nappes throughout the day, well good luck Fluttershy, I'm headed over to AJ's."
"Ok, see you soon Twilight" Fluttershy waved as she flew off in the direction of Rainbow Dash's cloud home."
Thankfully after flying up to Rainbow's house and peeking through the window Fluttershy realized rainbow was still asleep in her bed, so she decided to knock on the bedroom window which remarkably actually got the response of rousing Rainbow from her sleep.
Huh, I really thought it would take more than that to wake her up. Thought Fluttershy as she watched Rainbow trot over towards the window.
"What's up Flutters" Asked Rainbow Dash after swing her window open. "What's got you here so early, come to cheer me on while I do some morning flying practice?"
"Oh, um, sorry rainbow, but its actually around ten AM. Anyways I'm actually here to get you so we can meet Twilight and Spike over at Applejacks' place. You see, according to Barry, my bear friend, there's this weird clearing with these strange buildings that just near the edge of the Everfree."
"Really! Well what are we waiting for, lets hurry up and meet up with the girls so we can check this place out, maybe its some kind of ancient temple or something." Said rainbow as she jumped out the window and flew off towards Applejack's.
Fluttershy called after her friend to slow down so she could explain why it probably wasn't a temple or any other ancient structure but the cyan colored pegasus was to far ahead to hear.
Finally, after about an hour since meeting up at the library, Fluttershy made it to Applejack's farm where she saw the rest of the girls plus Spike and Big Mack sitting in a circle by the open barn doors talking, or more like shouting in Applejacks case.
"Big Mack! I'm not a little filly anymore, sides, me and the rest of the girls will be just fine, heck we were the ones who went in and defeated nightmare moon at the old castle ruins, which might I add was a few hour trip, according to what twilight tells us it should only be a thirty minute walk towards this so-called clearing."
"Nope," said Big Mackintosh "I'm not letting you girls go in there alone, not after what happened with Ma and Pa..."
If looks could kill the look Applejack gave her brother would have burnt him to ashes. Fluttershy made sure to keep her distance from the two apple siblings as the exchanged glares. "Don't you pull that card with me, you know perfectly well we can handle them wooden abominations just fine, sides, we'll have a fire breathing dragon with us who can scare them things off before they get near us" Spike beamed at the confidence Applejack had in him to protect her and the girls.
"Nope, I'm sorry Applejack, but no. I'm sure yall handled yourselves just fin a few days ago, but you know darn well that if I had known where you were going I would have gone along then as well. I'm coming with yall, and that's final."
This was it, Fluttershy needed to defuse the situation before it could get any worse. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but Big Mack's only looking out for you Applejack, that's what brothers are supposed to do, protect their sisters from danger."
"Sigh, I guess yall are right Fluttershy." replied Applejack as her glare turned into a sorrowful look, "I'm sorry Mack, I know your just lookin out for me, I just tend to get aggravated when you doubt in my abilities to protect myself."
"Its alright sis, I understand, and yes I believe you could handle yourself out there, but you know I like to stay within the side of caution, especially when it comes to the Everfree." replied Big Mack with a smile.
"Yeah I know. Well ok then what's the game plan."
"Well" replied twilight "There really isn't much to plan for at this point, all I can think of is for us to go to the edge of the forest closest to the clearing, and carefully approach and observe the buildings and go from there. who knows what happened. Maybe somepony discovered a spell that works at clearing away the ever free and are testing it there."
"Well come on everypony" called spike as he climbed onto twilights back. "I don't know about you all, but I'm excited for this little adventure."
Everypony chuckled at the dragons eagerness then got up and allowed Fluttershy to lead them towards the clearing.

Chapter 8. Discoveries and unexpected visitors
Hunter's POV
So, After sitting down to think for awhile I decided what needed the most attention at the moment.
"Well, I guess I need to figure out where exactly I am, during my dream talk with God, he said something quite worrying. He said that the world I am in was introduced to me by my sister, just hope wherever I am It's not some girls fantasy land... But I'm a dragon, so there must be more dragons, so even if it is a fantasy land, I'm just fine with it."
Now, what's the best way to go about figuring out my location?
"I think I'm gonna grab a rifle from from the basement, It can offer me some protection incase anything dangerous stops by, and I can use the scope to survey the surrounding landscape."
So, I moved the rug away from the living room floor, and opened the trap door that led to the basement. (What? When I built the place I decided I wanted a basement, but wanted it to be hidden from any potential burglars as a place to hide my valuables.) So after making my way down the ladder, I found myself in a room that held a few gun cabinets, (Yes I collect guns.) where I grabbed a simple wooden bolt action 223. varmint rifle.
After grabbing everything I wanted I headed back up the ladder, shut the trapdoor, and recovered it with the rug. So, heading out the door with Wolf at my heels, I Grabbed a ladder from the garage, well, I guess I should stop calling it a garage and start calling it a workshop. Anyways I set the ladder on the side of the house and climbed up onto the roof mentally noting that the solar panels were still on the other side of the roof like I thought, and that they looked fine. I stood up and swung my rifle off my shoulder then put the scope up to my eye, and proceeded to scan the surrounding horizon for any landmarks that I might have seen before, which was a lot easier now that trees weren't in the line of sight.
Lets see here, mountain with trees, mountain with trees, valley with trees, grassy hills, mou... wait...
"Is that a castle?" I asked myself as I extended the range on the scope and noticed what the castle looked like, the white castle with gold and purple highlights was perched on the side of a mountain with half of it hanging off supported by struts that should never be able to hold its weight, and there seemed to be a waterfall that flowed out of the mountain and through the castle, and I recognized it immediately."
"Am I seeing things? "I asked as a huge smile made its way onto my face. "Wow... I always wondered what it would be like to live in Equestria, but I never thought it could happen!"
I'm kinda glad I only browsed through the episodes. I have a general understanding of things, and I've seen the major villain fights, and a few of the other episodes but I really don't know much about the timeline, or anything else. I wonder how far after the first episode I am?
Too stunned and happy to say anything else I made my way back down the ladder and returned it to the workshop. While I was doing this I was making a list of everything I needed and wanted to do, but while that was happening my stomach decided to let me know what my next course of action needed to be.
"Hmm, guess its time to start lunch" I said as I shut the front door. "Hmm, I think I'll cook up some of the trout I was thawing out in the fridge. Its been two days so they should be ready for the skillet."
Opening the fridge I pulled out the Tupperware container that held a gallon sized freezer bag that now held water and six headless, tailless trout. "Hmm, I'll only need about two, or at least I would normally eat two, well, I guess I'll cook all of them just incase my new body came with an increased my appetite."
Now, what else do I got, I'm in the mood for at least a few greens. I thought as I laid three trout on a cast-iron skillet along with dome vegetable oil and butter, then switched on the stove. Reaching up and opening the cabinet that held cans of vegetables I started scanning through them while checking behind the ones in the front. "Hmm, no no no nope aha! collard greens, perfect! I'll just microwave them in a bowl, then add some Tabasco."
After opening the can of collard greens, and pouring them into a bowl, I set them in the microwave but decided to wait until the fish were done, needed them to cool of anyways and didn't want to have to reheat the greens,
I may have solar panels, but that doesn't mean I can just use electricity all willy nilly, the batteries should be able to handle normal use for a day or two without a recharge, but Its still good practice to only use what I need. I thought as I flipped the trout. Then I had a thought which I had no answer for. "Hmm, I wonder how well the solar panels will charge under the Equestrian sun, well I haven't lost power yet, Ill give it another day, but I don't expect any issues."
Noticing that the first set of trout were done I grabbed the skillet and slid the trout onto a plate, noticing that I barely noticed the heat coming from the metal handle. "Well, I guess being a dragon comes with heat resistance, good thing to seeing as I just grabbed the skillets handle, I mean come on how dumb can I be." After placing the other three trout into the pan I started thinking about the solar panels which brought me to a starting revelation.
"Well, unless I'm in a future version of Equestria I'm not going to be able to claim all of this is mine without revealing that I'm not your normal everyday dragon..." I said as I started thinking of what my story should be when I meet the locals. "Well, I'm not going to abandon this place, I've put to much work into it to just leave it behind. I guess I could claim to be from the future... but then Id have to burn all the pictures I've got with humans in them.. which is most of them." After thinking through a few more cover stories I decided the best course of action.
"Well, I guess the only thing to do is to tell the truth. Unless I'm in a future version of the show I'm just going to have to tell the truth, besides (chuckle) I cant tell a lie to save my life." I said as I set the microwave for a minute. As it was running I slid the last of the trout onto the plate with the others. Once I heard the microwave finish I Grabbed the greens and set them on the kitchen table along with the plate of trout and an extra plate to set the bones on, next I grabbed a Bottle of Tabasco out of a cabinet and grabbed a fork and knife. As I was headed back to the table I stopped by the fridge and grabbed a can of coke. Sitting down at the table I started eating and It was wonderful, just added a little salt and pepper to the trout, and a little lemon juice then they were perfect. after I got done with one I would throw the skin down to Wolf, who to his credit as a good dog, and to mine as a great trainer he hadn't begged once.
After finishing three trout I found that My appetite hadn't changed, normally I would have eaten two, but all I had for breakfast this morning was a banana so I guess I was running on empty. After putting the extra trout in the fridge I turned the hot water on in the sink and was about to start doing dishes when I heard something I really wasn't expecting.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Someone was knocking on my door.

OK guys, I need your thoughts. my plan is to post 1/2k word chapter words every day or two, than after reaching a good point grouping those small chapters into 10k word chapters for the people who like listening to stories on their phones, from my personal experience its annoying to have to hit next every 5 mins. Chapter 9. Introductions part 1 Slight remake
Author's Note
Ok guys due to the comments I was getting I realised I had taken the girls to far out of character, I changed a few things to make them seem less hostile. Let me know if you think its an improvement.
Also, I was going to do something different With wolf, but alot of people seemed to want him included in the introduction, so I put him back in the story. Kinda worked out actually, helped give a reason for Fluttershy to break out of her panic over seeing a normal sized dragon.

Spike's POV Journey through the forest
So there we were Twilight and I, her five new friends, and Big Mackintosh, I don't know much about Big Mac, but he seems to be giving me evil looks when he thinks I don't notice, a lot of the ponies do, some of them even act like they need to protect their foals when I'm around.
Sigh, not like its anything new, probably just heard the dangers dragons pose just like everypony else. Based on some of the stories I've heard I cant really blame them, but still, I cant wait for this town to get used to me like the ponies around the castle did.
Yeah, You might think that growing up in Canterlot would be a dream, and your right, it's an absolute nightmare. Sure when I was in the castle things were fine, but when Twilight and I would go out into the city ponies would treat me like I was a dangerous beast! There were multiple occasions where We would go into a restaurant, or a grocery store and one of the workers would come up to Twilight and say the didn't allow pets!
Boy were they surprised when I decided to ask why they were calling Princes Celestia's personal student a pet. I smirked at the faces those idiots gave me when I spoke, and smirked even more when I remembered the horror on their faces when Twilight said she would mention the problem with racism to Celestia.
Sigh, but yeah, I cant really blame them, apparently the dragons haven't sent a representative to Equestria for a few hundred years. To bad to, cause I'd really like to talk with another dragon about certain things, I mean I'm fourteen, and I've barely grown more than an inch in the past two years. I continued to dwell on these thoughts for a few more minutes as we were following Fluttershy through the animal trails through the Everfree until she told us we should be close then questions started popping up.
''So Twilight, what kind of party do you think I should plan for the pony living in the Everfree!'' asked Pinkie as she bounced beside Twilight and I.
''What are you talking about Pinkie?'' Replied twilight as everypony else turned their heads to glance at the pink pony.
''What do you mean silly willy! Fluttershy said that her bear friend named Barry said that there was a house in the Everfree, so that must mean that there is somepony new living there!'' Replied Pinkie in a cheerful manner, no doubt running hundreds of party ideas through her head per second.
"Um it's Harry not Barry Pinkie." Interjected Fluttershy, but I don't think anypony else but me heard her, according to Twilight I have much better hearing than the ponies.
''What in tarnation are you going on about Pinkie Pie, there's no way anypony would just up and move into the Everfree..., unless they were a few apples short of a bushel in the head of course.'' cut in Applejack before twilight could reply.
Pinkie dear, I must apologize but I'm going to have to agree with Applejack on this matter. This forest is just to horrid for anypony to live here, I mean look at my hooves, they are completely covered in muck!" Rarity said as she held up her hoof showing everyone the slight bits of dirt and mud cling to the sides. Everypony rolled their eyes at that, while Applejack and Rainbow facehoved at how Rarity thought dirt was the worst thing about the forest.. As they started walking again. "What? A lady must always look her best. I'm going to have to take a trip to the spa after we are out of this filthy place!
''I'm sorry Pinkie but the girls are right, if somepony really was living out here I think they would need to have their head examined before you could invite them to a party, and that's a big if. I still don't see how somepony could clear away a section of the ever free that fast. It takes crews of ponies all year long just to patrol the border to keep it from spreading.'' Twilight replied.
''Well, I don't know about you girls, but any pony living in the Everfree would be awesomely cool in my book, awesomely stupid yes, but awesomely cool as well.'' Everypony rolled their eyes at that, and I was about to ask Fluttershy how much farther this place was, but then I heard her gasp which was followed by the rest of us, for there it was, a large clearing with what looked like a large cabin and some weird metal building. and there were other weird things, like a gravel path that lead from about where we were to the front of the cabin and curved around the side of the house towards the front of the metal building. Many things were going through our minds but Pinkie decided to break the silence with a simple but crazy question.
''Well! What are we waiting for silly, lets go knock!'' yelled Pinkie to which everypony responded with 'ssshhh!!!'
''Pinkie! keep you voice down! We have no idea who or, based off the size of that house, what lives there!'' replied Twilight in a panicked whisper.
"(giggles) Well duhh. Of course we don't silly filly, we have to knock if we want to know who it is!" Stated pinkie as she bounced of towards the door ignoring the panicked whispers of her friends while subconsciously side bouncing out of the way of Applejacks lasso.
''Consarnit Pinkie Pie get your flank back here!'' called Applejack, but Pinkie was somehow already halfway there. "What do we do Twilight?!"
''Well, from what I've noticed Pinkie Pie normally has a method to her madness, so, I hate to say it but I think we should just watch and see what happens." Twilight said with noticeable trepidation in her voice.
So there I was, perched on Twilight's back looking over her head while we all starred at the door pinkie had just knocked on, we waited for about a minute, and nothing happened. Pinkie was in the process of knocking again when she suddenly stopped and moved back a little. What stepped out the door put a shocked look on my face as well as everypony else's, for there standing a little over twice Pinkies height, was a dragon.... that was wearing clothes.
As pinkie was greeting the dragon, he lowered into a crouch on all fours like he was going to attack, then opened his mouth, whatever he was planning on doing was suddenly interrupted when Rainbow decided that it was time to tackle said dragon back into the house. After staring in shock for a few seconds at what had just happened everypony rushed towards the house, entering through the door they saw a dizzy looking rainbow on top of the dragon who was lying on his back, somehow knocked out, and under him laid a large, almost pony sized dog which actually looked like a Timberwolf without the timber.
"Rainbow Dash!" yelled everypony, either worried for her safety, or maybe angry at her for tackling the dragon, probably both. Meanwhile I had hopped off twilight and walked up to the sleeping guy, or at least his face makes him look like a guy, but I've never seen another dragon so who knows, I could be wrong.
"Spike be careful we don't know what his intentions are " yelled twilight as she levitated me back onto her back. After thinking for a minute twilight got that look on her face that meant she knew what do do. ''OK, first things first, Rainbow, we do not just attack somepony for no reason, you could have seriously hurt him!'' Rainbow got a shocked look on her face.
''What are you talking about?! He's a freaking fire breathing dragon Twi, who was about to roast Pinkie!''
''Uggh we don't have time to argue right now, first we need to make sure he and his dog are alright.'' Replied Twilight.
Fluttershy, who up until that point was cowering behind Big Mac, perked her head up and asked ''What dog?'' to which I pointed to the dog laying underneath the guy.
Fluttershy gasped and rushed forwards towards the two and proceeded to roll the dragon off the poor pooch. Whilr we all gawked at her seemingly newfound strength. After checking the animal over she turned her head slowly towards Rainbow who suddenly found the floor the most interesting thing in the world. ''Rainbow Dash! How could you? You could have seriously hurt this poor critter.''
''Gee, I'm, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hit him that hard, and I didn't know there was a dog behind him.''
''OK every pony I've thought it over, and even though I hate it, we should restrain him, I would hope to think he's a decent dragon, but Rainbow could be right, he really could have been in the process of attacking Pinkie'' stated Twilight interrupting any arguments that could have stated. ''Applejack, could you tie his legs and arms together, and Big Mac. Could I borrow your rope to tie his muzzle shut, I hate to do it, I really do, but we don't have any other way to stop his fire if he does turn out to be hostile. Apparently the bigger dragons get, the more magic resistant they become, a shield spell from me wont stop his fire.''
I frowned at that, it seemed like twilight was treating the dragon like an animal, but I understood her reasoning, after all, sometimes when I yell in panic I accidentally shoot out a flame.
"Sure thing Twi" replied applejack as she started hogtieing the dragon's legs together while Twilight rapped the rope tightly around the dragons muzzle a few times and then around the back of the head to keep him from taking it off without the use of his claws.
"Sorry spike" said twilight as she noticed my frown while she finished the makeshift muzzle. "I know you are excited to meet another dragon but we need to be really careful, you never know what could happen"
"Its ok Twilight, I understand, and I wouldn't want any of you getting hurt." I replied with a sad smile, which made her smile sadly while nodding.
"Ok every pony those ropes of Applejack's are top grade so they should hold, I guess all that's left to do is wait for him to wake up" said Twilight to which the group nodded, but Applejack got a small blush on her face while deciding to ask a question.
"Um, not to pry, but how do you know he's a he Twi?"
"Oh, that's easy applejack, while there aren't many books on dragons, one of the few that there are says that dragons are similar to ponies in the fact that drakes are built more squarely like a stallion and dragonesses are thinner with more curves like a mare. Spike should look similar to this guy when he grows up." twilight replied to which she got thankful nods from everypony while I just got wide eyed.
"You mean Ill look like that someday?!" I asked to which Twilight replied with a chuckle and a nod. "Cool!"
Groan..
"Um not to impose Twilight but I think he's waking up" said Fluttershy at which point we all turned our heads towards him as he opened his eyes...

Chapter 10. Introductions part 2
Hunter's POV
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
That was the sound that made me freeze in my tracks I looked around and saw that Wolf had his ears perked up, and was looking at the door Thinking for another second or two I decided I should probably get to know my neighbors. After turning the sink faucet off I turned around to the door and hollered the most idiotic thing I could have said.
"Hold your horses, I'm coming I'm coming" I called out to whoever was at the door. The knocking stopped and I walked over to the door, and after taking a deep breath I opened it wide and went wide eyed at who I saw, there smiling wide, in all her pink glory was the one pony that I actually had a plan for when we met.
I wonder how Pinkie Pie will react when she's the one unable to get a word in, I don't know what all I'll say, but a certain word from Mary Poppins comes to mind. I thought while smirking.
Before I introduced myself I decided I should lower myself so I was closer to her height, so I tried going down to all fours... I'm sure it would have ben a nice gesture If had actually done some practice. As I got down on all fours, my stance was less than friendly, apparently I didn't bend my rear legs right, and I went into a crouch like I was going to attack her. However I didn't realize this at the time, so in my crouched state I opened my mouth wide taking in a big breath because, you know, epic Pinkie Introduction time!
Before I could say a word, I was tackled back into my house by a blue blur, but before I could react I received a jolt of pain to my head, which gave me enough time for one more thought before promptly blacking out.
Well, at least I got the infamous Rainbow Dash introduction...

When I regained consciousness I thought I was hearing voices , but before I could think on the matter. I immediately became aware of a small pain throbbing through my head, which caused me to let out a groan, the voices I was hearing stopped and I decided I should open my eyes and see what was going on. After opening my eyes I realized everything was a blur so I blinked a few times and things cleared up, who and what I saw sitting in front of me caused my eyes to go wide, for sitting in front of me, about six feet away, was a group of seven ponies and one baby dragon, all of whom had worried looks on their faces. I remembered the main six and spike right off the bat, but seeing as I don't have extensive knowledge about the show I don't know, who the big red pony is, he seems familiar, but I cant recall who he is.
Realizing I had been starring I decided to say hello and ask why they were all staring at me. "Hrmo...?" Noticing I couldn't talk I looked down my snout, and to my surprise and aggravation I found they had put a makeshift muzzle on me! Reaching up to take it off I noticed that they had tied my arms and legs together to, which made me more than a little mad, and also caused me to wince as my headache spiked. "Whmrghrhmrmmm!!!" I tried forcing my jaw open, but the rope didn't budge a bit. Now, normally I would have tried staying calm, but realizing that I had been attacked, knocked out, and restrained in my own home brought forth a hatred for these folks and my headache wasn't making things any easier, but the worst thing of all , and what was making me go into a slight state of panic was my claustrophobia, at least that's what I call it, I'm sure that the fear of being unable to move is actually called something else. But anyway, I was going into a slight state of panic when Spike out of everyone there decided to step forward.
"Hey calm down dude, I understand your angry, but can you please calm down for a second? I promise we aren't going to do anything, you can trust us." he said raising his arms up in a calm down gesture. It took a second, and I was still furious, but him actually talking to me un an understanding way got me to calm down, and after taking a few deep breaths I relaxed my muscles a bit, while still glaring at all of them.
Twilight took that opportunity to walk up beside spike and sit down. "I really am sorry about all of this, we all are, right Rainbow Dash? She said before turning to glare at the pegasus who glared back, but then stopped glaring and gave a slow nod. "Like I said," she said turning back to me with a smile. "we are extremely sorry for restraining you, but we couldn't just leave you here unconscious, and since we didn't know if you would attack us or not, I decided to tie you up so I could explain what happened to you. Do you understand?''
After Twilight removed the ropes I rolled my jaw, and worked my legs and arms a few times to stretch out the mussels, turning to the group I decided what my first verbal response to the situation was going to be.
"What is yawl's problem!" I yelled which caused them to take a few steps back. Rainbow was about to respond but I interrupted her before she got a chance to speak. "No, you don't get to talk, not yet. I open my door to find your friend over there there smiling at me, then as I'm about to say hello, you decide to tackle me and knock me out!!" I said glairing at the hovering blue pegasus. "And then, the rest of you come into MY house and proceed to restrain me like some wild animal!!" All the ponies minus Rainbow Dash had the decency to look ashamed at their actions, while Spike nodded in understanding while rainbow dash continued to glair at me.
"But you were about to roast Pinkie Pie!!" Rainbow replied earning a fierce glair from me. "So, what do you have to say now, huh" she said while smirking. at that my fierce glair turned Ice cold. "What do I have to say for myself?" I asked "Well, other than the fact that I was definitely not going to roast your friend, nothing, and actually until I get an apology from all of you, and I mean a heartfelt one, I'm not saying another word." I was about to get up and go to the bathroom to grab some pain killers when I got a startling thought. "Hey!, where's my dog, you didn't hurt him to did you!?" I asked in worry and anger.
"Oh!, No, he's fine, he got knocked out when you landed on him after Rainbow hit you." Said Twilight again glairing at Rainbow Dash. "Fluttershy laid him on the rug over there" Twilight quickly replied pointing to Wolf who was sleeping on the living room rug. At that response my anger flared again. "So not only do you hurt me, but my dog too!" I roared out, which scared scared Fluttershy into fainting, and actually startling me, because until this point I hadn't realized I could roar like a dragon as well. While the ponies shook in fear I decided I needed to get away from them before I learned of the other things I could do as a dragon. "Well, I'm going to grab something for my headache, but know this, if Wolf is seriously injured in any way because of what you did." I said glairing back at Rainbow "Then being roasted will be the least of your worries!" I finished, which made everyone including her gulp in fear.
"Now, by the time I get back I really do expect an apology from all of you, and I really do mean a heartfelt one, and If you cant accept that you were wrong and apologize, then I don't want to see you here when I get back." I said walking away "Oh, and incase you haven't noticed I'm extremely furious at all of you at the moment, so don't push me, because if you do, Ill push back so hard you'll wish we had never met." I added while rounding the corner into the hallway.

After taking the pain pills and waiting a few minutes to calm myself down, I Exited the bathroom shutting the door loudly enough so anyone up front would be able to hear me. As I rounded the hall corner I saw that Everyone was still there, even Rainbow Dash, So walking up to them I decided to go down to all fours again, this time getting it right, and proceeded to sit like they were. After a few seconds Rainbow broke the silence by walking up to me and giving me an actual apologetic look.
"Hmm, I guess you'll really are sorry, and... well, I guess we'll see how the rest of today goes, If all goes well, I might just be able to forgive you." Everyone smiled at that and gave an understanding nod. That's when I realized that I had yet to introduce myself. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself since no-one else has. " Clearing my throat I did just that.

Chapter 11. Introductions part 3
"Hi, my name's Hunter, what's yours?" I asked the group in general. Even though I was still steaming at how Rainbow Dash had just attacked me without giving me a chance. Also if you could say you've been rubbed sore by things people have done to you, then I was pretty raw. I mean sure they had seemed genuinely sorry, and I guess I can under stand why they restrained me, but the principle of the matter is that they had assaulted me in my own home, and If I had still been on Earth the I would have responded by calling the police and pressing charges.
Hmm maybe I will press charges, or at least report them, we'll see, I guess they are the Elements now, and I really don't want to get into any legal issues. At the thought of all the paperwork that would come with that I quickly filed that thought away into the last, last resorts file in my brain. (Yes I have a list of last resort plans, and most plans involving paperwork find themselves at the bottom.) Meanwhile, Spike had decided that he would be the first one to introduce themselves.
"Hi Hunter my name's Spike!" he said in what I could only describe as absolute joy. After that his features seemed to wilt a little. "And like I said I'm truly sorry about what happened to you, I'm actually surprised you're talking to us after what we did... I know I would be holding a pretty serious grudge right now..." Spike finished, lowering his head in apology.
Now, While I wont forgive the ponies as easily, I decided that I would cut some slack with the little guy, seeing as he was still a kid, and most likely not involved in the whole thing. So, letting my frown lessen a little, and deciding I wouldn't hold anything against him I let out a sigh and placed my hand on his shoulder. "I know you are Spike, I know you are, and while I wont be able to forgive them anytime soon, I can say that without a doubt I'm willing to give you a chance." He jerked his head up with a look of shock on his face which was then replaced with a smile that could give pinkie a run for her money.
"(Sniff) R-Really?" he asked tearing up, to which I nodded. "W-wow, I finally get to know another dragon!" I smiled knowing I had just made the little dude's day. "Could you teach me some more about being a dragon, like how long it will take me to reach our size? or what the dragon lands are like? or, or, well everything really!" That brought my mind to a halt, but while I was trying to figure what to say without revealing my predicament just yet, Twilight decided to cut in, and while convenient, it still wiped the smile right off my face. I may have calmed down, and I may be acting civil about the whole matter, but I was still pretty freaking mad.
"Spike, I know your excited but I think we should all introduce ourselves before asking any questions." said twilight before she turned her attention from Spike to me, Grimacing as she saw my frown return. "Mister Hunter, My name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia an." I cut her off right there.
"Ok, sorry to interrupt, but before any of that I need to check on Wolf." I said as I Straightened up into a bipedal position and walking around the group over to said dog, and, after feeling for any broken ribs, and realizing he was breathing normally I calmed down a little bit more. "Sorry, I should have checked on him as soon as I came back, but I've got a lot on my mind."
"Its allright, I understand, and don't worry. Fluttershy asked him if he was allright when he woke up not long after the eherm accident, and after a quick explanation and her assuring him we weren't going to hurt you she gave him something to help him recover, that's why he's still asleep. The medicine she used helps animals sleep for awhile while they recover." Replied twilight with a small smile." Said twilight while gesturing towards said pony.
"Is it true that he wasn't seriously hurt and that he'll be fine?" Hiding behind her mane, shaking slightly she nodded. "Well, thank you, I still don't know if I can forgive you or not, but, thank you for checking on him, he means a great deal to me." I said, and then she smiled a little and let out a whispered thankyou, but somehow I heard it, though I don't know how, but I hard it. "So, now that that's taken care of, you can continue with the introductions." I said as I sat down like the ponies again, idly running a hand along Wolf's side.
"Well, like I was saying, my name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student to princess celesta, and, again like I said I'm very sorry for restraining you like we did, but, like I said I didn't know If you would attack us once you woke up, and since my magic doesn't work on a dragon your size I decided that tying you up was the best option." She said as her ears laid back against the back of her head. But what caught my attention was the last part of her statement.
"So.. your saying that you're the one who suggested tying me up? How many of you agreed with her?" I asked glairing from pony to pony. "Well? I'm waiting." I said continuing my glair. Everyone other than Spike and Pinkie Pie raised their hooves. Wow, ok then, so, out of all of you only Spike and Pinkie here actually gave me the benefit of the doubt." I said getting sad nods as an answer.
"Hey, how did you know my name was Pinkie? Are you a psychic?! Can you rear minds?!" called out Pinkie Pie as all her friends turned toward her then towards me, silently asking the same question, or at least the first part.
"I didn't know your name was really Pinkie, but because you are by all means, pink, that's what I decided to call you." I replied getting nods from the rest of the group. Whew, that was a close one. I thought before Applejack stepped forward.
"The name's Applejack and I truly am sorry for what we did to ya, can you forgive me?" She asked putting her hoof up for a shake. I starred at it for a second and the replied with a straight face. "I don't know, maybe someday, but yall did me a great injustice by doing what ya did, and I'm still plenty mad about it, so for now, no, I'm sorry but no I cant accept your apology, honestly other than Spike and apparently Pinkie I don't think I'll be able to forgive this for quite awhile, if at all." She put her hoof down and wilted at that, along with the others, but she nodded in understanding.
"Ah understand, it pains me, but I understand, just know, that you'll have friends among me and my family should you decide you can forgive us." Applejack said with a sad smile. that's when the others decided to agree while introducing themselves.
"Yup, names Big Macintosh, but you can call me Mac, and like sis said, I would be glad to consider you a friend if you would have me." replied Mac as I gave him a nod still with a straight face.
"Applejack is quite right mister Hunter, and I do apologize for my uncouth decision in agreeing with the plan of restraining you. Oh! where are my manners, my name is Rarity Bell, and it is a pleasure to meet you, should you ever need any of your ensemble repaired, or should you need anything made for that matter, then stop by the Carousel Boutique in Ponyville, free of charge. I am the owner, and I hope to find some way of repaying my wrongdoings!" I actually smiled a little at that, I may not be into fashion or anything, but this was the first time anyone was offering to repay me in any way, and I'll admit, I appreciated the gesture. "Allright Rarity, that sounds reasonable, you cant by my forgiveness, but its a start." I said as Rainbow spoke next.
"Name's Rainbow Dash fastest flier in Equestria! Like I said, I over reacted, and I'm sorry, so, we good?" A scowl made itself known on my face immediately. "No we are not 'good'. You attacked me in my home, which lead to me and my dog both getting hurt, so no, we wont be 'good' for awhile." I replied.
Next Fluttershy squeaked out her name almost exactly like how she did in the show, along with a short apology. but I heard it fine, a little quieter but It was still clear. "Well Fluttershy, thank you again for checking on Wolf, and again, it will take some time, but I might be able to forgive you guys one of these days." I replied, when everyone including Fluttershy looked at me in shock I replied. "Dragon hearing is better than a pony's I guess" I said, earning nods from the ponies and an "I knew it" from Spike. which made all of us chuckle.
"Well" said Twilight "I guess it's time we head on out, I think we all need to think about what happened today. I along with the ponies nodded while Spike spoke up "But Twilight! I didn't get to ask any questions" I chuckled at that earning me a glair from the little dude.
"Hey, don't worry about it dude, I don't plan on going anywhere, so If you guys can promise to be civil next time, you're welcome to stop by." I said earning smiles and nods from everyone.
"Well, If We get a chance, spike and I will stop by some time tomorrow after lunch. Said Twilight, to which I nodded. The others said they would be too busy with work to stop by, which I was immensely grateful for. "Well, come on everypony, its getting late, and I'm sure Hunter would like some peace and quiet." Twilight said as she trotted out the door. With Spike on her back looking towards me waving enthusiastically, I gave him a two fingered salute which he copied making me chuckle.
After everyone had left I shut the door, locked it, then walked over to the couch and lied down. Well, definitely not what I was expecting, but at least I've met the ponies I know anything about, so, I guess I've got that going for me. I thought until I felt something cold on my hand jerking my head over I saw hat wolf had woken up and was just sitting there without any signs of pain. "Hey boy, glad to se you're doing better! To bad this headache of mine wont go away." Man, I've been hit hard before, yet this is the first Time I've black out from just hitting my head on something.. what did I hit my head on anyway? I asked myself reaching up and feeling around my head trying to find a bump or something, but I didn't notice any pain until. "Oww!!" I yelled out after hitting my left horn. feeling it again I could tell my headache was centered around the base of it. "Well, I guess that answers that, but it seems strange that a dragons horns would be a weak point... well, no matter Ill figure it out eventually." I said as I noticed the sun was getting low in the sky, so deciding that I should get some rest. I fed Wolf for the night, went up to my bedroom, stripped, and lied down on my bed. Aafter finding that I couldn't sleep on my back without giving me some pain in my wings I flopped over onto my stomach and finally, after having one of the most hectic days of my life, fell asleep while thinking. Tomorrow, I'm telling Twilight about my transformation tomorrow...

3'rd Person POV, Group Leaving Hunter's House.
After leaving hunters house the group of seven ponies and one dragon make start making their way towards the edge of the clearing, on their way Twilight's face seems to portray confusion more than anything else, and after entering the Everfree somepony decides now would be a good time to question it.
"Yall seem to be thinking mighty fierce Twilight, got something you want to share with us?" Asked Big Mac while glancing to Twilight, before returning his focus towards Fluttershy as she was leading the way back to where they entered the farm. Realizing, and giving some mental praise towards the butter yellow Pegasus's skills of direction within the unnatural forest.
Twilight's ears perked up at that, while the rest of the group cast her a quick glance before watching the path ahead of them as well. Thinking for a moment twilight decided to let her thoughts known. "Well, to be honest, and don't take this the wrong way, especially you Spike. I'm thinking that Hunter is anything but your run of the mill drake. Honestly, from the few books available on dragons and their tendencies, plus Princess Celestia's personal notes on the dragon ambassadors from a few hundred years ago, dragons are short tempered, and extremely territorial. And before you say that their tendencies changed over the years, recently I've noticed some of those tendencies in you Spike, so I'm thinking that its more of an instinctual thing rather than a life style choice. So, the fact is, that while I am immensely overjoyed at how things worked out in the end, if Hunter was anything like a normal dragon, then we wouldn't be standing here unscathed right now."
After finishing that statement everypony stopped, turning to stare wide eyed at the lavender unicorn. "So, what are you implying Twilight?" Asked Spike who was a little shaken up at what he had just heard. Taking a few moments to gather her thoughts Twilight replied. "Well, I don't know for sure, but considering how different he responded compared to what I expected I would say that at the very least he's weird, and that's not even considering the fact that he was living in a house rather than a cave like other dragons, or all those weird things inside and around said house."
Everypony slowly nodded while restarting their trek, as they started pondering the events the day had brought every pony decided Twilight was right, there was definitely something strange about the guy. After exiting the forest with a about an hours worth of daylight left, everypony offered a quick goodnight before returning to their homes.
As Applejack and her brother made it to the farm Applejack decided to speak up about something that she had been wondering about. "Big Mac, was it just me, or did that dragon seem to have a little bit of a country accent " Applejack asked as they headed upstairs toward their rooms. Big Mac smiled and nodded "I'm pretty sure I heard it as well sis, It wasn't near as prominent as ours, but he definitely let one slip here and there." that made Applejack smile as well. Maybe there's hope for him yet.. both siblings thought before shutting their doors and getting ready for sleep.
Meanwhile Twilight and Spike were still walking back towards their relatively new home, which just so happened to be the town's library. "Uggh, I have too many questions and no answers, I guess I'll just have to get Hunter to answer a few questions during our visit tomorrow." Said twilight after mulling all her questions over a few times in her head. At that statement Spike frowned at her. "Whatever you do, don't make him one of your projects, we already had a rocky start, and I for one am not letting anything, or anypony get in the way of me getting to know another dragon." replied the the young dragon as they made it to the library "Don't worry Spike I wont go overboard, I owe it to him to at least respect his privacy. Now I think its time we get some sleep, I promised applejack we would help her at the farm tomorrow morning, something about wining a bet against her brother." Replied Twilight as they entered the library and headed to bed.
3'rd Person POV, The Next Morning, Canterlot Castle Throne Room.
Princess Celestia was sitting in her usual seat on the balcony off to the side of the main dining room, as she was sitting there sipping some tea while looking out over Equestria, she turned her head as she herd somepony approaching. "Luna, how are you this morning?" Celestia asked, only to receive a tired grunt from the midnight blue Allicorn who was still regaining her magic, her coat color had returned, however she hadn't regained her height , and her mane was still light blue and had yet to regain its ethereal flow. "I had hoped you could join me for breakfast this morning, chef made some wonderful pancakes, I don't think you've gotten the chance to try them yet, I'm sure you would love them." Celestia continued after failing to receive a response from her sister.
"We doth not know how being cooked in a pan versus a tin makes any difference as to how a cake tastes, but what we do know is that we are the princess of the night, and thou art the (yawn) princess of the day. We do not see the importance of interrupting our sleep in order to indulge in sweets and tea just to engage in idle conversation... however if thou couldst extradite the arrival of more of, what was it, ahh yes, if thou couldst procure some more of that coffee then we couldst be wide awake throughout throughout both day and night available to talk as long as thou wish." Replied the lunar sister while taking a seat beside Celestia who was choking on her tea.
"Cough Cough, oh, excuse me Luna. I have no clue as to what could be taking the usual shipment of coffee from Saddle Arabia so long to arrive. Perhaps I will send some guards to investigate the matter, by the way, you are still using the olden speak quite heavily. Have you started those speech classes we talked about?" Celestia calmly replied, desperately hoping to steer the conversation a different direction.
"Verily, please do dear sister. Unfortunately until our...my magic is replenished, we ..I will be unable to investigate the matter myself. As for the speech classes, yes I have. However, I am finding the matter of changing speech patterns quite difficult... Now, you mentioned something about cake? I know thou always had a love for deserts, but cake for breakfast? If thou art not careful thou might have to have a larger throne constructed." Luna finished nodding towards her sisters flank with a smirk.
"Luna!" Celestia exclaimed her cheeks flushing red. "Pancakes aren't actual cake, but a different type of breakfast food created a few hundred years ago... You, don't think I've gained weight... do you?" Celestia asked while glancing towards her flank before turning back to her sister, who had put on a thoughtful expression.
"Hmm, We.. I am not certain, however you do seem to be a little more, hmm how to put it.. plump than I remember." Luna replied with a straight face, though internally grinning wider than the rare Cheshire Cat. "Mayhaps thou shouldst consider cutting back on these 'not cake' pancakes, after all, thou only have 9 months until the Grand Galloping Gala, perhaps thou should try on thy Gala dress and make sure it does not need any altercations made." At that, Luna couldn't hold back her smirk, which caused Celestia to gain a smirk as well.
"Very funny Luna, you actually had me going there for a second. Speaking of the Gala I think I'll give Twilight two tickets, one for herself, and one for a friend." Said Celestia mentally deciding she should check her weight... and cut back one her daily slices of cake to just one. "I know she has at least five other close friends now, and I would gladly send her six tickets as they are the bearers of the elements, but my faithful student needs to learn that she can approach me for help when it comes to things like this."
"(Yawn) That seems to be an appropriate plan Tia, and I would love to continue out talk, but I believe I should go back to sleep, recovering magic is quit exhausting after all. Have a good day sister. Replied Luna as she stood up and walked toward s the balcony entrance stopping as Celestia said one last thing. "Sleep well sister, and might I suggest working on exchanging the use of thou for you, it would go a long way towards your speech practice." At that Luna turned and glared at Celestia who was taken by surprise by the look she was getting. "I have had this discussion many times with the speech tutor, and I will say it only one more time." Luna said darkly before growling out "You is a LETTER, not a WORD, and we doth not care how many times somepony tries to persuade us, we shalt not be changing that mannerism. Now, as I said. Have a good day dearest sister. Luna finished with a kind smile and a cheery voice before trotting into the castle presumably towards her bedchambers, leaving Celestia to ponder her words.
Well, suppose I should apologize towards the speech tutor, and see if I can get her to drop that mannerism for the time being. In the mean time I really need to finish enchanting Luna's mugs to remove any caffeine they come into contact with, I love my dear sister, but I don't think I... nor the guards could ever deal with ...THAT... again. Celestia shivered before getting up and heading towards her study to compose a message to send to her student, along with two golden tickets.

Hunter's POV
After waking up I briefly considered putting some clothes on, but seeing as everything was covered in scales I decided that while I was alone I would go natural. After that I decided I should check my head injury, so checking around the base of my left horn, I noticed that there wasn't any pain to be found, which was odd considering how much it hurt last night. Mentally thanking God that by some means I didn't understand I decided I should grab a shower. Heading downstairs I was greeted by Wolf who had decided last night that the living room rug would be his bed for the night. I still had no Idea why he refuses to sleep on the rug in my room, he even wanted to sleep outside in his house on the porch, but seeing as there were to many unknowns at the moment I decided he would be sleeping inside from here on out.
After grabbing a can of dogfood from the cabinet and emptying it into Wolf's bowl and filling up his water dish I headed towards the bathroom. After showering I grabbed a towel and dried myself off realizing that I had forgotten to brush my teeth yesterday I proceeded to do just that however before I started I looked in the mirror and something caught my eye. Opening my mouth wide I saw that while I definitely had four fangs where my canines used to be, my other frontal teeth had become sharper much like my canines used to be, however aside from being larger and slightly sharper the rest of my teeth seemed to be identical to how they were as a human.
After brushing my teeth and a few other things I decided that I should probably let Wolf out before making breakfast. Walking towards the front door I whistled, hearing his nails clacking on the wood I briefly thought about trimming them, but decided against it, seeing as they might come to his aid against any predators that might attack. I didn't want him to be defenseless after all. Letting him out I decided to leave the door open seeing as it was a nice temperature outside and there was a nice breeze blowing.
After Deciding that breakfast today would be bacon and eggs with toast I got everything together and started cooking, after popping some toast in the toaster I grabbed an open package of thick-sliced Applewood bacon and placed four slices on a skillet which I had already melted a bit of butter on. Once the bacon was almost done I added two eggs to the other side of the skillet, after the eggs were scrambled I turned of the power and sliding everything onto a plate I grabbed the two pieces of toast and slathered them with apple butter. Before eating I grabbed a bottle of A1 Steak Sauce and drizzled a tiny bit on my eggs.(don't judge before you try it) After eating and washing the dishes I decided I should do something productive while I waited for Spike and Twilight to arrive, after thinking for awhile I decided there was something I needed to learn.
"Well, I guess I shouldn't put it off any longer." I said as I Stood up and went to a quadrupedal stance, now while different when compared to how I as a human It wasn't uncomfortable, honestly the weirdest thing was how easy it was, I mean I was basically standing like a dog, and my body just seemed to transition from one stance to the other without any issues.
As I started walking I stumbled around quite a bit, I was fine moving one limb at a time, but that made for an extremely slow pace and I knew I wanted to be walking at normal speed by the end of the day. Closing my eyes I tried to remember how Wolf walked, after getting a clear image in my head I opened my eyes and started practicing for about an hour while mentally calling out my actions.
left front, left back, right front right back I thought while slowly picking up the pace until I was confidently walking at a normal pace. realizing I couldn't get much faster while using the current pattern I stopped and thought some more. After determining the best option was to learn how to trot I repeated how I had just learned to walk.
front/rear, right/left I thought simultaneously and after stumbling a few times I realized that I would only be able to do this at a faster pace. After picking up speed I was able to keep my balance as I was oscillating which pair of limbs were on the ground while the others were in the process of taking the step. After finishing my quadrupedal training, which took about two and a half hours, I realized that it was about lunch time. Continuing to walk on all fours I peaked my head out the door and saw that Wolf was asleep, resting in the sunlight. So, realizing I was hungry I decided to microwave the extra trout from yesterday.
After lunch and realizing that Twilight could come by any time now, I decided that I wasn't ready to go native just yet, so heading up to my room I got dressed in some long black cargo shorts and a black t-shirt as well. Opening my window so I could hear anyone approaching I laid down on my bed trying to decide how I would tell Twilight and spike about my predicament, after thinking awhile on the matter I decided I would ask what her thoughts were on the possibility of multiple realities/dimensions/whatever. Now that that I had decided my course of actions I decided that it was time to relax a little bit, so, turning the volume down on my TV so no-one would be able to hear it I powered on my Switch and proceeded to play for the next couple of hours while waiting for my visitors arrive.
After playing my switch for about three hours I went downstairs to check on Wolf. Seeing that he had moved into the shade of the house I decided he was fine and let him continue to rest, besides I had something else that I wanted to do. Heading back upstairs I stopped at the room I had dubbed as my music room, after playing for about two hours on all the instrument's I was happy that my draconic transformation hadn't hindered my ability to play guitar or any of my other stringed instruments, in fact, having claws just removed the need for a pick. pulling my phone out I saw that it was almost six and that the sun was starting to set behind one of the mountains, the sky darkened pretty quickly after that. Deciding that something must have happened to keep twilight and spike from coming over today I decided that I would stay up a few more hours playing some more games while making some more decisions on what I would do tomorrow.
Realizing that the tree line was to dense for me to drive any of my vehicles outside of the clearing I decided on what my first order of business would be for the next day.

Chapter 14. Answers Part One
Hunter's POV
After my first meeting with the locals I had thought long and hard about what details I should share with them. My decision being, that I would tell them that I was from a parallel universe, or something along those lines. However I had decided that for the moment at least, they didn't need to know that my kind had been spying, in a sense on them for years.
"What are your thoughts on alternate universes?..." I asked getting confused from most of the ponies. Minus Twilight who was thinking hard about the question, Spike who had an excited look on his face, and Pinkie Pie who decided to start laughing.
Seeing Pinkies' reaction caused me to give her the 'what is wrong with you?' face, before remembering something about Pinkie Pie being unpredictable. Deciding to deal with Pinkie at a later date I turned my attention back to twilight who was looking at me strangely. However, Spike cut her off before she got the chance to answer.
"Some of the comics I've read mention something like that, do you mean, like a different version of Equestria where everypony is evil, or one where superheroes actually exist?" Spike asked.
Spike's answer shocked me a little, because in a sense, that was exactly what I was talking about. I had wanted to break the concept to them slowly, but if it had already been breached slightly in fiction then this would be a lot easier to explain. I was about to congratulate the young dragon on his answer, but Twilight chose that moment to speak her mind.
"The concept has been brought up many times, but nopony, not even Starswirl The Bearded himself ever announced any evidence strong enough for the theory to be valid. Therefor ,I can say with confidence that Alternate realities, or what ever you want to call them, simply don't exist." Twilight finished in a 'matter of fact' tone, causing my mental grin to grow to Joker sized proportions at what I was about to say.
"Oh... well, I don't know who this Starswirl guy is... but, I personally can confirm that there is at least one other universe, probably more." I said which set in motion something I wasn't prepared for.
"WHATTT?! HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHO STARSWIRL IS?!" Twilight yelled, getting looks of confusion from the girls, while Spike and I winced at her volume.
"Ooh! is this a guessing game?! I want to play!" Pinkie called out,
"Umm Twilight, while ah cant speak for the others, personally ah don't have a clue who this Starswirl fella is either." Applejack said, while muffling all the guesses Pinkie was making towards Starswirl's identity by sticking her hoof in the pink ponies mouth... not that Pinkie noticed.
"Yeah Twi, what's the big deal?" added Rainbow.
"I may have heard about him in school once or twice, didn't he create a few spells or something?" Rarity asked, causing twilight to stare at the ivory unicorn as her eye started twitching.
"Um, girls" Fluttershy whispered.
"Starswirl did not just create a 'few spells', Starswirl The Bearded was the most powerful unicorn in the known history of Equestria! He created countless spell, most of which are locked away in the royal libraries due to them being to dangerous to be used by normal ponies.
"Um girls" Fluttershy said again, a little louder this time, causing me to raise a brow.
"Hmm, this seems familiar."
"Well excuseee me Twilight. Forgive me for not knowing something about some ancient unicorn." Rainbow cut in with a roll of her eyes.
"Rainb.." Twilight tried to retort, but was interrupted.
"GIRLS!" That got everyone's attention, we turned our heads the butter yellow pegasus, who was doing the best to hide behind her long pink mane. "Um, sorry to interrupt, but don't you think we are getting a little off topic here?"
"Oh... I guess you're right." Twilight said as she nodded in thanks towards Fluttershy. "But we ARE continuing this conversation in the future." She said while glaring at the rainbow maned pegasus.
"Ok, I guess I can understand not knowing about Starswirl, seeing as you are a dragon. not a pony, but how could you possibly know that there are alternate universes? Twilight asked, causing me to become slightly nervous, knowing what I was about to reply could be taken many ways.
"Well... you see... I was kinda taken from my universe and dropped into this one..." That statement made everyone's eyes go wide, before Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow started laughing the only ones not laughing was Spike, who had a look of wonder plastered on his face, Applejack, who's eyes kept growing longer the longer She stared at me. And Fluttershy, a pony who probably couldn't laugh at anyone, for fearful of offending them.
"Hahaha, your a riot dude! From a different universe, yeah right!" Rainbow dash laughed out, but soon stopped when she saw the look on her friends face. "Um Applejack are you ok?" That question got the rest of her friends to stop laughing and look over to the farm mare, looks of concern dawned on their faces once they saw the shocked look Applejack was wearing.
"Applejack!" Twilight exclaimed." Applejack what's wrong, are you ok?"
The farm mare slowly nodded her head and answered in a shocked voice. "D-Don't worry yall, I'm fine, b-but... he... he really is tellin the truth. And before you ask, ever since I bonded with the element of honesty I've been able to tell when somepony is lying... and he aint." Applejack finished while pointing in my direction, causing the rest of the group to slowly turn their heads toward me while their eyes joined Applejack's in size.
"Hmm, so Applejack is a walking talking lie detector... that could be a problem. Ill have to be careful"
"Woweee! A whole different universe, what do they have there, is there cake, or pie, or ice cream, or frosting, (GASP) what about PARTIES do you have PARTIES?!" Pinkie practically exploded casing me to wince at her hyperness.
"Seriously! How much sugar does this pony eat? She's going to get diabetes!"
"Oh my, think of all the new exotic fashions I could learn from such a place, though no offence if they are anything like what you normally wear, then you're people have absolutely no sense of fashion." Rarity said thoughtfully.
"Wow, quick to insult other cultures clothing? Not cool."
"Oh, what types of animals do you have, do you have rabbits, and squirrels, or dogs and cats?" Asked Fluttershy with much more vigor than before.
"Yup, animal nut, definitely an animal nut."
"WOW! so, what would that make you, an alien? an interdimensional traveler?" Asked Spike.
"Hmm this little dude and I are going to become bros real quick" I thought while smiling at Spike's question.
"Yeah! What Spike said, are you some kind of alien or something?!" Rainbow enthusiastically asked.
"We may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but there might just be some hope for Dash yet." I thought, my grin widening.
"Sugar cube, I think ya got some explaining ta do." I looked to applejack and nodded, never losing my grin.
"I might be in a tough situation, but with all this enthusiasm I may just be able to enjoy this!" I thought before looking to Twilight, furrowing my brow at her expression.
"Um, is she ok?" I asked while pointing at the purple unicorn who seemed to be staring off into space.
"Huh?" Spike turned toward the lavender unicorn. "Oh yeah, Twilight gets like that when something happens that she cant understand, she'll snap out of it so.."
"What!" Twilight exclaimed as she snapped back into reality. "You cant be from an alternate universe it's.. its just impossible!"
"Hmm, its going to take some proof for twilight to believe me..." I thought as I saw the look of disbelief and suspicion plastered on her face.
"Ok, so all of you, especially you Twilight probably want some proof." Everyone nodded, except for Twilight, who if I wasn't mistaken, had a bit of smugness mixed alongside her disbelieving stare. "Allright, give me a minute, Ill be right back with said proof." I stated as I stood up from the recliner and walked upstairs trying to decide what the best thing to grab would be...

Twilight's POV
After hunter walked off I decided a few things needed to be discussed... especially with applejack. " Ok Applejack, what's this about being able to tell when somepony is lying? Because what Hunter is saying cant possibly be true." I asked quietly.
"I don't understand it much maself, but like I said, after recovering the elements I've been able to tell when someponies fibbing... I don't think what he said is possible neither, but I have to believe him, cause he aint lyin." Applejack quietly replied.
"Comee onn Twilight, isn't there any possible way he could be from an alternate dimension or whatever?" Spike interrupted
"Spike, anything is possible, but the odds of his story being true are practically non existent, sure he may be strange and have a few weird things, like that magical tree cutter. But I just cant believe he is from a different universe." I replied, Spike looked like he was about to argue, but was interrupted by the sound of Hunter's claws clacking on the wooden floor as he walked down the stairs.
"Well, lets just see what Hunter has to show us." Spike said earning nods from everypony, including me.

Hunter's POV
Walking upstairs I was trying to decide what would be the best evidence that I wasn't from Equestria, or what ever the planet itself was called. I briefly thought about grabbing my switch to show them, but decided that it was really just a piece of advanced technology, not really prof that it came form a different world. I thought of a few more things, but decided that my laptop would be the best choice, seeing as I had loads of pictures and videos stored on it that would prove beyond a doubt that I was telling the truth. After grabbing the computer from my desk and unplugging it, I made my way back down stairs.
Upon arriving at the living room I noticed the weird looks I was getting, I was about to ask what was wrong, then realized they were probably looking at the closed laptop in my hands.
"What is that?" Twilight asked, as I set the laptop on the coffee table in the middle of the living room. A opened it up giving them a full view of what it looked like. (The laptop is powered down at this point.)
"This is a computer, or more specifically a mobile computer designated as a laptop. Basically It has pictures and video from my dimension, or world, or whatever you want to call it." I answered simply as I went to press the power button, but was interrupted by a question from rarity.
"I know what a picture is, but I don't see how you could have any in that computer of yours, it looks like a thin box with a thin typewriter under the lid, what pray tell is a video?"
"Oh crap, they don't have videos yet." I thought before responding. "Well Rarity, a video is kind of like a bunch of pictures taken one after the other then shown in rapid succession to show an object or objects in motion."
"Oh, do you mean a film? I once saw one when I visited relatives in Manehattan last year. They started showing them a few years ago, the cost to see one is quite expensive though." Rarity responded with a thoughtful look. But something she said caused me to pause.
"Manehattan? Wow, I guess there are a few similarities to Earth, but come on, really, a equine spinoff of the name?!" I thought before regaining my composure.
"Oh... erm, well films have been around a little longer where I come from, but we'll talk more about that later, for now lets I'll show you some pictures from my universe.
After I pressed the power button the girls and Spike gasped when the DELL logo popped up on the screen while the keys lit up. Rarity decided to look behind her then up to the ceiling with a look of confusion, after realizing what she was looking for I smirked.
"You wont find a projector Rarity" I said causing everyone to turn their heads to me. "That computer is able to display images without an external source like a projector."
"But how? Even magical projections need a source!" Twilight interjected, meanwhile I noticed the desktop screen had loaded with my background picture.
Smirking I said. "Well, if yall turn around you can see what I'm taking about." They turned around and gasped at the crisp picture of a sunrise over the Smokey Mountains. It was quiet for a few seconds, until Twilight turned to me in shock.
"What is this? I don't think it's magic but what else could it be." Twilight asked bringing a smirk to my face.
"Your right Twilight, there isn't any magic involved, only technology." Twilight blinked then turned back to the computer. Then back to me, she did this a few more times as the others continued to stare at the laptop in wonder. "H-how does it work? " She asked quietly.
"Well, I know a little bit, but I didn't build the thing. Anyways, that's a topic for later, right now I need to show you some pictures to prove I aint lying." I said as I dropped down onto all fours to be closer to the coffee tables' height. reaching up my right arm and used my hand to scroll to my files. I heard several 'oohs' 'ahhs and 'gasps' when the file explorer screen popped up. Navigating to my pictures folder, I found and displayed a picture.
After the picture came up I heard several most of the girls gasp while pinkie yelled 'wowee!' andSpike said 'wow!'.
"This is the city of Charlotte, located in the state of North Carolina which is located in my country of birth, the United States of America!" There was silence for a few minutes as everyone just stared at the screen, Spike was the first one to speak up.
"Wow, that city is huge! And it looks similar to the futuristic cities in my comics! Isn't this cool Twilight?!...Twilight?" Twilight appeared to be in another state of shock, but she soon shook herself out of it.
"W-What, oh yeah Spike, it is interesting... Tell me Hunter, how big is this Nation of yours?" Twilight asked as she pointed her attention to me.
"Hmm one sec Ill pull up a map." After pulling up a a world map Everyone gasped again, but I ignored them. "this is the United States of America, or USA for short, it is bordered by Canada towards the north, and Mexico on the south. Alaska and the Islands of Hawaii are part the USA, but are separated from the rest of the country." I said whole pointing to the different locations. After a minute or two Twilight spoke up.
"O-ok, I g-guess you really are from a different dimension or something, because that definitely isn't the planet of Equis. Twilight said shakily, but then broke into a joyous grin. "Ohh! so much to learn, so many books to write! (GASP)... S-so many new books to rreeaadd!!!"
"Wow, slow down egghead, I think you're scaring the poor guy." Stated Rainbow Dash.
"Yes, I really don't like the look she's giving me, It is quite unnerving."
"Rainbow Dash, cant you see? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I must, learn, everythmmhhmm!!"
"(Giggle) Oh silly Twilight, there will be plenty of time for that later, first things first. I need to throw Hunter a 'Welcome to Equis dimensional traveler' party!" Pinkie exclaimed after putting a hoof in Twilights mouth.
"Whoa nelly! Ah knew you were telling the truth, but I wasn't expecting something this different!" Applejack said while growing a smile.
"Oh my stars, this is simply marvelous, that city looks more luxurious than Canterlot! There may be hope for your people's sense of design yet." Rarity said excitedly.
"Oh.. my.." Fluttershy muttered softly.
"Uggh, fine, Ill keep my questions contained for now." Twilight sighed. before Spike spoke up.
"Wow, Hunter it must be awesome living in a city like that with other dragons! Most dragons here just live in caves..." Spike started excitedly but finished with a sad tone.
"Oh man, I hope he doesn't get to upset about this." "Well, that's one more thing I need to tell yall. You see Spike, you know more about dragons than I do, because before arriving here a few days ago I wasn't a dragon at all. In fact, dragons don't even exist in my dimension, they are nothing but myths, the same goes for unicorns and pegasi." Silence rained for a few seconds before it was quickly demolished.

Sorry about the delay. I am currently in the process of getting packed in preparation for a move, that combined with work and life in general has been taking up a lot of my spare time.
I'll do my best to get two more chapters out this month if I can. Once the move is over I should be able to update at least once a week.

Chapter 15. Answers Part Two
"What!?"
"Man, being a dragon has it's downsides as well, I mean could they have yelled any louder!" I thought while trying to ignore the ringing in my ears, noticing that Spike seemed annoyed at the high pitched death shout aswell.
"Gees girls, shout a little louder why don't ya. My ears are still ringing! What about you Spike, you good" I asked in a joking manner.
"Yeah I'm fine, live around Twilight long enough and you kinda get used to it." Spike replied while smirking at said purple unicorn, however his smirk morphed into a look of confusion when he noticed she was just staring, wide eyed off into the distance... well, more like a random spot on my wall...
"Twilight,... Twilight,... hellooo!... Equis to Twilight Sparkle, are you in there?" Spike asked while waving a hand in front of Twilight's face.
"Ha, come on Twilight! The dude is from a different... world... universe... Whatever! The point being, is it really that big a surprise at this point?" Rainbow asked, getting annoyed when Twilight failed to come out of her trance.
"Wow... I may have broken her." I joked.
"(Sigh) Don't worry." Spike spoke up, gaining our attention. "Any time she hears something she cant comprehend she seems to get caught in some sort of mental loop... happens more often than you would think... However, I know just how to snap her out of it!" He finished while a devilish grin instantly made it's way onto his face. Walking up to Twilight's side he whispered something into her ear.... Whatever he said, it was effective.
"WHAT!?" Twilight shouted with a looks of hoarer. "Spike that book was from a limited edition collection! How could you be so reck.. less..." She trailed off when she noticed Spike trying, and failing to stifle his laughter. The rest of us joining in once
"Spike!!" Safe to say, she was NOT amused.
" Ha ha ha, eherm Sorry Twilight, but I had to do something, you were stuck in one of your mental loops... again." Spike explained while wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. Twilight instantly blushed in embarrassment, much to my confusion seeing as a blush shouldn't be visible through her fur.
"Hee-heehehe.... (Sigh) Well, thank you for snapping me out of it, but next time please don't scare me like that... you know how I am with books!" Twilight finished while glairing at the little dude
"You!" Twilight suddenly exclaimed, while giving me a grin that is somewhere between that of a mad scientist, and the Joker... nightmare fuel for sure. "This is incredible! I've never heard of anypony being transformed into a different species before! Well aside form a transformation spell that is, but only very skilled unicorns are able to perform one, and they have a limit of about an hour or two before dispelling........." After a minute or so of her rambling on and on I was getting agitated and much to my own surprise I started growling, fortunately I think I got it under control before anyone noticed.
"Hold up!... When did I start growling...? Ah screw it, for now I'll just file it under a side effect of being a dragon, I'll probably be doing that a lot. " I mentally sighed. I definitely needed information on dragons, like yesterday. Anyways, after a few moments of thought sorting I returned my focus to Twilight... who was STILL talking. I was about to intervene, if only to save my sanity, however Spike beat me to it... with a slap to the back of her head.
"I-I don't believe it, ...did the little dude just Gibbs' slap her?! " I excitedly thought, my eyes wide with surprise.
"Ow!" Complained Twilight while rubbing the back of her head while glairing at the young drake. "What was that for?!"
"Sorry about that Twilight, but I had to snap you out of it.. again.. you were going on and on about stuff that I doubt anypony understands..." Spike replied while raising his arms in a calming/defensive manner and gesturing to me and the girls, all of us nodding in confirmation.
"Oh.. hehe sorry about that everypony, I'm just so excited! Think of all the books I could write on the existence of other dimensions. Not to mention a whole other way of life. Think of all the knowledgeeeee!"
"Now hold on a moment there sugar cube,..." Applejack spoke up, looking quite amused with the excited, purple unicorn. "Don't ya think you should slow down a tad and ya know, give the guy a chance to answer them questions... if he wants to that is?" She directed that last bit towards me as a question, not a statement, something I was immensely grateful for.
"Yeah, no problem." I answered nonchalantly. I had prepared myself to answer a few of Twilight and spikes questions yesterday, but seeing as everyone was here today, I decided I could answer a few from each of them. "In fact, why don't you each take turns asking a question or two and In return I get to ask a few of my own." I suggested, Twilight was about to respond but Rainbow beat her to the pitch.
"Yeah, I got a question!" Rainbow shot out "Why do you keep saying 'everybody' and 'somebody' huh? Don't you mean 'everypony' and 'somepony'?"
Her question was one that had me facepalm so hard that I possibly gave myself a concussion, I mean seriously out of all the questions in the world THAT is what she's most interested in!
"Well... to be honest, I assume the local population is primarily composed of ponies, am I right?" I received a nod. "Well, before I became a dragon I was what's known as a human, and ponies such as yourselves don't exist there. Therefore, we use the term 'somebody' not 'somepony'. "
"Oh.. yeah, I guess that makes sense. But, why do you say 'somebody' and not 'somehuman'?"
I stopped at that, trying to come up with an answer. "Well, to be honest, I don't know... but personally I think 'everybody' rolls of the tongue better, don't you?"
She repeated each version a few times to herself before agreeing.
"Hey dash, I got a question of my own. How on earth are you flying?" I asked, receiving an incredulous stare from her which was mirrored by everyone else.
"Uhhh by flapping my win.."
"No, that's not what I mean" I cut her off. " I can see you flapping your wings just fine, but what I want to know is how they're keeping you off the ground! They're way to small to provide enough lift to keep you in the air, at least not at the speed you're flapping. So, how exactly are you physically able to fly."
"Oh!" Twilight exclaimed "That would be the product of Pegasus magic, It lets them fly, as well as interact with certain aspects of the weather. It even lets them walk on and shape clouds." Twilight explained, Rainbow and Fluttershy nodding along with her explanation. "I suppose since pegasai don't exist on you're world you've never seen pegasus magic in effect, am I right?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, I can safely say we don't have anything, like that on earth. In fact magic is another thing that we have in stories, and legends, but its not real.
"What!" Twilight exclaimed "But that's impossible, magic is literally everywhere around us! There are only a few places you cant find any magic, and you're telling me your entire world is void of magic!"
"Yup" I answered, internally enjoying Twilights mortified expression. Apparently a world without magic would be something akin to a nightmare for her. "Anyways, we can discuss magic or the lack there of some other time, but II think we should let everyone ask they're questions for now. Don't you?
"But-but...(sigh) fine, but we ARE discussing this in the near future." She grumbled, while spike took the opportunity to ask a question of his own.
"So... since there aren't any dragons where you come from, I suppose you cant really teach me about other dragons, huh?" He asked, disappointment evident on all his features. And I felt bad for the little dude. Here I am, a dragon, and apparently his first opportunity to learn more about his own kind, only for his hopes to be shattered. Well, that just wasn't going to stand.
"Well, as far as actual dragon knowledge goes, no. In fact, I have a few questions I was going to ask you... But! There are quite a few fictional stories about dragons and they're habits that I have read. So, maybe one of these days you and I can sit down and exchange information. Sound good?" His eyes got wide and he immediately perked up.
"Yeah! That sounds like a great idea!" He exclaimed before puffing his chest out" And don't worry. I'll teach you everything you need to know about being a dragon..., well everything I know of anyway." I couldn't help but chuckle at the little dudes enthusiasm, but I was genuinely happy I could bring him out of his funk. And while he may be a kid, he most definitely knows more about being a dragon than me.
"Thanks spike, I really appreciate it." Before I could continue, a loud barking and growling sound echoed from outside. Realizing the noise was coming from Wolf I quickly got up and made my way over to the window, looking outside my eyes widened at the sight of a large creature exiting the tree line. It seemed to be a conglomeration consisting of the main features of a lion, along with a set of large bat wings and a scorpion tail, and a pair of horns that reminded me of those on a bull.
A freaking manticore... I'm looking at a real life freaking manticore. I thought in shock before noticing how the beast was starting to stalk towards the barking canine. Oh heck no!
I quickly shot towards the front door while grabbing the 223. rifle I had left leaning near it for a situation such as this. I flung the door open, ignoring the ponies who were trying, and failing to keep me from exiting the house.
"GET AWAY FROM MY DOG!" I yelled out, successfully grabbing the attention of the beast, unfortunately as soon as he laid eyes on me he immediately roared and starting running in my direction. Without hesitation I lifted the rifle to my shoulder, took aim, and pulled the trigger.
