Chapter 2: The New Reality
I woke up on a couch and rolled off it
"Mmmmmhhhh. Need. Sleep."
I sit up and rub my eyes, there was yellow blur in front of me and the more i rubbed my eyes, the clearer the blur became. After rubbing my eyes about 6 times I open my eyes and see a pony in front of me "
HOLY SH- "
The pony backed away because of my reaction.
"Are you okay ?" it asked.
I started breathing heavily.
"OMG, OMG, Oh. My. GOD ! Wh- Wh- What are you ?" I asked in a scared voice.
"I'm a pony" it said with a shy voice.
After I calmed down a bit. "What, what's your name ?" I asked, still a little bit scared.
"My name is Fluttershy, what's yours ?" She asked.
"My name is Pim. But how did I get here ? How do you talk…..?" I pause for a moment. "WHERE THE HELL AM I ?! "
Fluttershy backed away a bit but this time I noticed
"I'm sorry…eeuuuhh…Fluttershy. But could you tell me what's going on…I must be dreaming, I'll end this dream now."
I stand up on the couch and get in position to drop myself to the floor. Fluttershy weeped a bit and said
"Don't do this you'll hurt yourself!"
I simply answer "What could go wrong! I'm dreaming!"
The next second I lie on the floor with the start of what could become a headache.
"Aauuuuuuwwwwchhhhhh. That hurt." Then realization struck me. "I'm not dreaming am I ?"
Fluttershy replied "No, come on get some rest."
I refused and said "I'd like to know what the hell is going. Then I'll rest." "Well, I'm sure Twilight can answer your questions. She wanted to see you when you're healthy again."
I stood up and said "I need some fresh air."
I look around the room for the door and when I finally spotted it. I open the door, closed my eyes and take a deep breath. The air was fresher then I ever could imagine. When I opened my eyes it came to my attention that this…"world" looked different. It looked cartoonish but still very detailed.
I tried to process I saw: the cartoonish world, birds that sang in perfect harmony. It was a lot to process as I didn't realize that Fluttershy was asking me something, but after a while I noticed. I ignored what she said and went back inside. I walked to Fluttershy and asked "
So…what's this 'world' called ? Can you ponies can talk ?"
She replied "This is Equestria, yes all ponies and stallions can talk and I think that your actually ready to go and see Twilight."
Before I agreed I asked one more question. "You still didn't tell me how I got here, from what I was at some sort of ruin before I woke up."
She replied "Well, you ran into us-"
I interrupted "Somepony ran into me."
She replied "Yes, Rainbow Dash charged at you…"
I thought of the blue pony with the rainbow mane "That's probably Rainbow Dash "
She continued "Well after she charged at you, you passed out and we brought you here."
I replied "That's really nice of you…ponies. Well then, shall we go to this 'Twilight' ?" as I gestured to the door.
We walked on a dirt "road" to what seemed to be a village. I looked to my left and saw a forest there. Fluttershy noticed this and told me that the forest was called "Everfree Forest" but that it's a dangerous place to be.
I thought "Pshhh, I'll go in there sooner or later anyways." We walked further and I began to see a town in the distance.
"What's that town over there ?"
She replied "That's Ponyville, we're heading to it now. Some of my best friends live there. But you saw them at the ruins."
I replied "I don't remember much from our first meeting. But you should introduce them to me when we're done."
After what seemed to be like 15 minutes of walking we were near the edge of town. Ponies and stallions were all staring at me and whispering stuff to each other. I started blushing a bit because I'm not used to so much attention. I saw a pony leaving her apple cart and coming toward Fluttershy. She said something to Fluttershy but I couldn't hear it. Then the pony came up to me, she was orange and had 3 apples tattoo'ed on her flank. She had a blonde mane and wore a cowboy hat.
"'ello there! My name is Applejack. Nice to meet yah!"
Kinda surprised by her and being so direct and kind 'Hello, I'm Pim"
Applejack replied "Well, how are ya' holding up ? You passed out last time we met." I replied "Wait you were there ?"
She nodded "Yes 'Ah was a bit worried."
Suddenly my stomach growls…Applejack noticed this "You sound hungry, how 'bout a apple ? First on is on the house!"
I gladly took the apple "Thank you very much Applejack! I appreciate it!"
I took a bite from the apple she gave me. This apple was probably the best one I ate in my entire life, and I ate a lot of apples (trust me ;D). I embraced the sweet taste of it and before I knew it I ate almost all of the apple.
"That was the best apple I ever at Applejack! I'll be sure to buy my apples from you."
She smiled "Well thank ya' much Pim. That's good to hear! If ya' have some time, come by the Apple Ochard to visit me. But now Ah' need to get back to my cart. See ya' around Pim!"
I smiled back "I will, thanks again Applejack! See you around."
We walked away venturing into the town even more. I became a bit bored and started tapping my pockets like I usually do when I'm bored. I felt something and reached into my right pocket. I grabbed something out of it and looked at it. Apperently I still had my red iPod in my pocket , shame I didn't have my Ministery Of Sound headphones with me. Some music would be good right now. I think I'll still be able to buy some new headphones here. After walking for about 10 minutes we came up to a tree….house…..treehouse.
Fluttershy said "Well this is where Twilight lives, in the library. She's here almost all the time though."
We walk up to the door and I knock on it. I hear a some voice coming from inside
"Spike! Open the door, I'll be right there" A little purple creature with green scales opened the door.
"Hello Fluttershy….and…uuuhh ?" I helped him "Pim, My name's Pim. Nice to meet you."
This time Fluttershy spoke up. "This is Spike, he a baby dragon." (well the story doesn't needs dragons anymore does it ;D) Spike took over and said in a proud tone
"-and I'm Twilight's number 1 assistant!"
I took over once more "Nice to meet you Spike."
Then suddenly a purple pony with a star tattooed on her flank came down a set of stairs.
"Ah, Fluttershy you made it… Oh we have a guest! Spike go make some tea please! We have a long conversation ahead of us!"

Chapter 3: Starting To Settle Down
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I gonna try to get this story going for a while, feedback is welcome and appreciated! But in order for some plans that I had for the story to happen, I need to develop the story further.

CHAPTER 3
I enter Twilight's home and first thing I see were books...tons and tons of books. The walls are like giant bookshelves Twilight began to talk to me.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, what's yours ?"
"It's Pim, nice to meet you Twilight Sparkle. Why did you want me to come over here ?"
"Please call me Twilight, and the reason I called you here is because I didn't find your species in any of these books. I'd like to known what you are."
"I'm a human, aren't there any humans here ?"
"No, you're the first 'human' here. Could you explain more about 'humans' ?"
I sighed "Sure but it's going to take a while though. Let's sit down."
After explaining that humans also had male and female gender, that we live long lives, the humans live on a place called Earth, that we are sorta aggressive but then I began asking some questions.
"How long do days last here ?"
"Well, Princess Celestia controls the sun and Princess Luna controls the moon."
I couldn't believe what I just heard, two ponies CONTROL the sun and moon! Twilight stared at me an asked:
"What's wrong ? Don't you have 2 humans controlling a sun and moon ?"
"No! They move on their own!"
Twilight gasps "How do they move without magic ?!"
"We don't have magic!! I has something to do with gravity! We can't fly or magic! Magic is a fairy tale on Earth!"
Twilight frowned at me when I said that, I quickly apologized:
"Sorry, I said that, I didn't know to believe in magic or not..."
"It's ok, don't worry"
"Thanks, it's just so...confusing. Any more questions ?"
"Not now, I'm going to write a letter to Princess Celestia about you, she probably would want to see you."
"That would be great, I'd like to ask her some questions..."
I noticed that Fluttershy wasn't in the room anymore, she probably left.
"Oh Twilight! One more question, Where's the town hall ?"
"Just go to the center of town, you'll see it. I'm sure you'll be fine on your own."
"Oh still forgot another question, what are those things that you ponies have on your as-.....eeeuuuhhh...flank ?"
"Oh those are cutie marks, they represent your unique talent. Mine represents magic."
"Ok Thanks Twilight! See you around."
She waved at me while reading a book, for a second I just thought "What a nerd. "
So I did, went outside. Getting weird looks from everypony I made my way to the center. On my way I saw a bakery of some sort. When looked though the windows and I saw some delicious looking cupcakes. I'd love to pass by sometime and nom on one of those. I looked at a sign near the building saying "Sugercube Corner" I'd have to remember that. But right now I needed to go to the town hall, I needed information on housing, jobs and possible citizenship. I don't think I can get out of Equestria so it would be smart to settle down.
After walking around town getting weird looks from everypony I arrived to what looked like a town hall. I went inside and was greeted by a pony sitting at a desk. I walked up to her and asked
"Hello, I'd like to see the mayor please."
"Okay, please wait for a while."
She went over to a double door and went in. After about a minute she came back out.
"You can go in sir."
"Thank you."
I opened the double door and saw a long table and a pony in front of a large window.
"Word's around town that something new is walking around."
She turn around and I see a pony with glasses and grey hair.
"I'm the mayor, who and what are you ?"
"My name is Pim and I'm a human. I came here to ask about several things."
"Like what exactly ?"
"We'll I'd like to settle down here. But I need housing, a job and probably citizenship right ?"
"Yeah, you would require citizenship. So let us start with that shall we ? I'll be right back"
The mayor went up to a cupboard and pulled out a paper and pen. She put the paper on the table and put the pen between her teeth. Somehow she could still cleary talk and said
"Ok, what's your full name ?"
"Pim Chindler. That's spelled Chin-dler"
"Mmh, City of origin ?"
Thinking a bit I said "Just write down Earth."
"That should do. Now let's make a copy for the Princess."
She grabbed another paper out of the cupboard and wrote the same things on it. After she was done she just left it on the table, she'd probably do something with it later.
"Okay, now about a job. What are your talents ?"
"Well, I'm good at making music and mixing it."
"What sort of music ?"
I pulled my iPod out of my pocket and asked
"Can plug this in somewhere ?"
She pointed at a small radio with a cable. I plugged in my iPod and put a track on
She listened until the climax and then turned it off.
"I'm going to address you to Ms Scratch for that. And I'll start looking for a affordable house for you."
"Where do I find this Ms Scratch ?"
"Leave the building walk straight forward and go right as soon as you can."
"Thank you. I'll come check for a house here soon."
"Goodbye."
"Wow she looked really annoyed. She's probably a b*tch anyways. Oh well. "
Like the mayor said I went out of the town hall and went straight forward. But after 5 minutes of walking there was no right to go to. I went back to the town hall but before I entered I thought a bit. I went back to the marketplace where Applejack's cart should be. After walking a bit I saw Applejack's cart with a ponies and a stallion waiting in line. I joined and after a while it was my turn.
"Hey Applejack, I need to find a certain Ms Scratch. Do you know where she lives ?"
"Keep following that road and you'll end up in front of her house." and pointed to a road on the left.
"Thanks Applejack, see you later!"
As soon I approached a house inn the distance I could hear a kick bass become louder and louder. Once I was at the door I was head bumping on the tracks tempo. I knocked on the door knowing that it wouldn't do anything. I tried the doorknob, the door was open. Hesitating if should go in or not I thought. "What could go wrong ? " I opened the door and saw a White pony with glasses and a blue mane with highlights standing behind 2 turntables raving. The music was 130 BPM (Electro or House) and also started raving with the pony. I screamed "TOTALLY WORTH IT! "

Chapter 4: Meeting Vinyl Scratch
While I was raving waved to the white pony. I assumed that this was Ms Scratch. After raving for another minute the break kicks in and she lowers the sound on the mixer. She comes to me with a big smile on her face saying.
"Hey there, you got some nice moves."
"Thanks, what track were you playing, it was pretty nice. ?"
"I don't know, I just grabbed a record, hoping it wasn't one of Octavia's, and played it. Why are you here ?"
"Uuh, I was talking to the mayor to find a job, I told her I was good with modern music and she addressed me to a certain Ms Scratch. And I believe that's you."
She answered "Please, call me Vinyl. And if you say you're good with modern music…You should show me what you're capable of." pointing at the turntables.
"Sure, I'd love to mix right now! It's been a while since I mixed some tracks."
I walked over to the turntables I asked good records. She gave me a bunch of records that she said is clubbish. I began mixing, she gave me a bunch of house records but I never mixed with vinyl before. So hoping it would be good. I placed the first vinyl and played it. I kept on mixing for about 10 minutes, but then I stopped because Vinyl came in the room with some drinks. She levitated 2 glasses of delicious apple juice.
"You pretty good, we could team up!"
"Sure! But can you plug this in ?" pulling out my iPod and show it to her.
"I can but I'm not sure it will work though."
I was lucky, it worked but I couldn't scratch. But I didn't mind.
"Hey Vinyl, Do you know the genres Drum & Bass, Dubstep or Glitch Hop ?"
"Never heard of it!"
"I'll introduce you." I said as I selected my tracks.
I began playing a track named Ghost Assassin by Maduk & Veela and moved on to other tracks (Talking about this mix, you might not be able to listen to it YouTube removes it for some countries like the USA ). This went on for a hour and a half. I mixed Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Moombahton, House, Electro, Glitch Hop, etc.
"I like you but I didn't ask your name yet. And what are you ?"
"It's Pim, i'm a human and i'm really glad I met you. (No this isn't crazy….or is it :3 see what I did there *slaps knee and laughs* )"
"Well me too." she said in a playful manner. I grinned a little bit when I heard that.
"Good to hear that somepony isn't weirded out by me. So, you play at a club for a living ?"
"I do, maybe you could teach me how to scratch and mix with vinyl and I'll teach you how to make your own music."
"You make your own music ? Isn't that super hard ?"
"It takes a lot of time to get something good. But I don't have a laptop here. All my stuff is back on Earth."
"What's a laptop, and what's Earth ?"
"A laptop is a device that a lot of persons use on Earth, the place I come from."
"Maybe you could ask Celestia for something, she the most powerful being in Equestria."
"I am going to see her soon anyway. Thanks for saying that!"
"No problem, say do you don't have a job… Stay here until you have one, free of charge! I like that music you have what's it called again ?"
"There are many genres but the general term for it is EDM. (Electronic Dance Music)"
"Watch out for Octavia though, she's a real killjoy. And she highly dislikes our choice of music. She listens to classic stuff."
"Bleh, I don't like classic, nothing wrong with it though."
"We have a guest room so you'll be sleeping there. Why don't you go have a look at it."
We went up a set of stairs and Vinyl open a door at the right side of the corridor connected to the set of stairs. It was a normally sided room with a window looking out on the garden. There was a bed, cupboard, a small desk with a chair and that was it. I didn't need anything more.
Vinyl said: "I'm kinda hungry, come on! Let's have dinner!"
"Don't we need to wait for you housemate Octavia ?"
"She's staying in Canterlot tonight, had to play cello at a fancy party that started pretty late.
"Ok then, you'll have to introduce me tomorrow."
"So it's us two here alone tonight" she said grinning.
I felt my face becoming red "Eeeuuuh yeah..."
We went back downstairs to have dinner. I sat down at the kitchen table and watched Vinyl grab some food. She grabbed some apples (hopefully AJ's ;D) and a lot of vegetables. I didn't like vegetables very much so I grabbed myself 3 apples because I was pretty damn hungry. She grabbed a apple and some hay. We talked a bit about our day. After about half a hour we decided to go to our rooms and sleep. We both walked up to the corridor.
"Well then, I had a lot of fun today Vinyl. But I'm going to bed. Good night!"
"I also had a great time, see ya' in the morning Pim!"
I closed the door behind me and undressed myself. I layed on the bed in my shorts thinking about all of this, this world, magic, talking ponies and dragons... I'd better just accept stuff the way it is now. I thought of going to Princess Celestia soon. I could ask how I got here, but I don't want to leave thought. Earth was a boring routine... Equestria is new and exciting. And about a job...I could ask Celestia of she could maybe do something so I could have my laptop back, then I could produce and make music. Make a living out of it and DJ in the nightclub. I had some plans...Let's hope they succeed. But now I should get some rest, it was a long day...

Chapter 5: In The Boutique
The sun rose up from the horizon, it was a new day. My second day in Equestria started off with sunbeams shining through the window and by doing that, they woke me up.
"Mmmhhhhhhh."
I tried to look at the window but was blinded by the sunlight. I covered my eyes with my hand and looked outside. I saw the sun and assumed it was midday. I got dressed and went down the stairs. I went to the kitchen area and was greeted by Vinyl.
"Good morning Vinyl."
"Good midday Pim, did you sleep well ?"
"I did, if I didn't then I would have been awake earlier."
"That's good to hear...I also have a small question."
"Ask away!"
"Do you have a shower here ?"
"We do, feel free to use it. But not too long, we have a limited amount of hot water"
Relieved I blew out some air
"Don't worry, I don't take long showers" I said reassuring her.
I went up the stairs again and yelled "What door is the bathroom ?!"
"The last one on the left!"
I opened the door and was met by my reflection. A looked around in the bathroom. It had a shower, a sink and a fairly large mirror that I saw when I opened the door. I undressed myself and got into the shower. After having a hot relaxing shower I put my clothes back on, but I would need some new ones soon. I went downstairs to see Vinyl wait at the table with some breakfast. Again, there were apples, hay, carrots and all sorts a things. I ate an apple and Vinyl at some hay with an apple.
"I need some new clothes, is there a tailor here in town ?"
"Yeah, you should pass by Rarity's Boutique for some clothes, I don't think she ever made something for a human before though."
"I think I'll go there right now. We should meet up later. How about that place called....eeeuuuhh what was it ? Sugercube Corner!"
"Sounds great. Meet me there at afternoon."
"Okay, I'll try to find my way to be in time. I'm going to look for a job though. I don't want to live off you and Octavia."
"Sound good, 'till then."
I walked to the door and opened it "Bye!"
I walked back to the marketplace and walked over to Applejack.
"Hey there Applejack, I need to find a place called Rarity's Boutique. Could you tell me where it is ?"
"Hello Pim, I can walk with ya' to it. Ah could give you a tour of Ponyville if you want."
"That would be great, but don't you have more important things to do ?"
"Ah can take a break for a while."
"Thanks Applejack, I appreciate it."
"No problem sugercube."
We walked and talked about our day a bit, I asked her where I could find a job and Applejack answered that she could use some help. I'll talk about that later with her. We arrived at a very fancy looking building.
"Pim, I'm gonna go back to ma' cart now. If you need something then you know where to find me."
"Thanks Applejack, we'll discuss the job thing later."
I walked into the boutique and a bunch of mannequins. There also was a little stage with a mannequin on it.
I heard someone coming into the room. I turned my head towards the direction where the sound came from. A white unicorn with purple mane and 3 diamonds as her cutie mark. She was levitating a ribbon and looked like she was searching for something. After searching for a while I thought it was time that she noticed me.
"Euh, hello ?"
She turned her head to me and after a while she realized that I was standing these
"Oh excuse me, I'm rather busy right now. What can I do for you ?"
"I'd like to have some clothes made for me, but I don't think you made clothes for something like me. Right ?"
"Wait, you were the thing that passed out near the ruins in the forest."
"Yeah, sure..."
She looked at me, she walked around me, she inspected me.
"I'll make you some outfits for free! I could do marvelous things with a body shaped like that! What's your name darling ?"
"It's Pim, you have to be Rarity."
"I am, im happy to meet you Pim. What style do you like ?"
"Well, I like the style from the clothes i'm wearing right now."
"Mmmhh, how is this style called ?"
"Well, in my world they call it a Skater Look."
That made me think of skating with some friends back on Earth. The wind when you drop down a quarterpipe or into a bowl. Sharing food and drinks when you took breaks, breaking someone's board when they asked to you. I used to represent the skating community of my hometown. We used to have a local skating day once a year at the skatepark and me and my friend would teach people how to do a ollie and how to push properly. Aaaah great times... I hope I could skate here again, maybe meet a pony that can change the shape of wood, because I don't know how to make plywood.
"I'll try to have them done as soon as possibly, where are you staying darling ?"
"I'm staying over at Vinyl Scratch & Octavia's house, why ?"
"I'll send your new clothes over there when they're done."
"You don't have to do that, you're making my clothes for free, I'll come get them myself so I can thank you."
"Are you sure ?"
"Pretty damn sure." I said as I smiled"
"Thank you darling, anything else ?"
"That will be it Rarity, thanks again."
"It's fine, I'm going to enjoy making clothes for you."
"See you around Rarity!" I said as I walked towards the door
"Bye Pim!" She said as she continued searching
Its probably time to go to Sugercube Corner and meet up with Vinyl. Let's hope I find my way back! Ok lets do this, right, left, forward, right...and there we are! I saw Sugercube Corner (around the corner, see what i did there :3)
