Not long after the coronation of Princess Twilight Sparkle

Equestria makes a startling discovery

Deep in the Everfree Forest, traces of an ancient,

but technologically advanced civillization is found,

along with a mysterious artifact called the Time-Lock.

The ponies manage to activate the machine,

but they fail to comprehend its workings.

After many years of trying, Equestria

is attacked by countless deadly monsters,

spawned from another dimension.

In the battles that follow,

Equestria fights valiantly,

but nothing can stop the

monsters from coming.

Their forces are steadily defeated

the ponies are forced to flee

into their major settlements

But, no matter how bravely

the pony armies defend,

they are defeated,

time and again.

Equestria stares into

the face of its own annihilation.

But one faithful day

the Time-Lock opens

And Equestria’s last hope emerges….
