What really happened was I asked her permission, and she flat out said no. It’s been so long for Alex, but only about 8 months for Ann (that’s his wife). Last night, before we left Canterlot, I let it slip. He say’s he forgives me, but what if he doesn’t? What if he’s just being nice about it. Mom, what can I do? I don’t want to lose him.
